Kansas City Chiefs, but the Detroit Lions got it done.
They went down the field late, they were able to
pull ahead, and their defense made some stops with the

there's a good chance they're going to go oh and two.
And if you look at the percentages of OH and
two teams that make a super Bowl or make a
playoffs rather, it's it's pretty slim and always has been.

With the extended season, I think it's skewed a little bit,
but I think that Kansas City will probably still be Okay.
I still think they're a playoff team, but you know,
it's kind of a bad loss last night, in a

any sort of statistical argument that you could make to

I would imagine over time, like you've got a much
higher percentage of forcing them to punt the football and
then getting the ball back in plus territory or at
least close to midfield as opposed to they I mean,
they gave them the ball back, and they gave them
essentially and put them in field goal range. Yeah, and
so then you're saying, okay, even if they did get
the ball back, they're probably gonna have to have to

go score a touchdown then because they're gonna be down
four instead of down you know, just down one.

And also I think from Detroit standpoint, you obviously have
the three stoppers and two minute warning, but when you're
where you are, where Detroit is gonna take over the football,
you got four downs to go for it. Like if
you found yourself at fourth one, fourth and two, they
could just go in the game, you know, with the
ball in their hands because of where they are on

the field, Like they'll say, okay, what's fine if we
don't so be on our defense goes out there on
the field and we got to stop them from getting
a thirty forty yards to go get a field goal
like that. Just that made no sense to me whatsoever,
no matter how you slice it up, it just it

least two more weeks before he plays, and if he's

of easy to say they could be the number one
overall seed because of the division they play in. They
get Kansas City coming to their place, especially now presumably
without Kelsey, maybe not Chris Jones either, like the timing
of all when they play them too. So if you

really look at it, like that's what makes it tough,
is Jacksonville could be in a position where they only
have to win two games at home to get to
a super Bowl, whereas Kansas City is gonna have to
win three games off the road the entire time.

Most likely they got a tough schedule.

Because if you play that out the way you did
and they're one and four, that's not even that They've
got Philly Buffalo and Cincinnati later in the year. So
the idea you're going to run the table against those teams,

night was a big loss that could look even bigger

over the next couple of weeks, because even if Kelsey
comes back, I just don't know how he's one hundred
percent or anywhere close to one hundred percent next week
or the week after. Especially if we talked about bone.

tough spot for Dobbs to be in.

the Chiefs last night and the way their offense before.

the Chargers East Coast team West Coast trip and it
started the season. But the biggest concern is the offensive
line for the Dolphins. I think that's the mismatch Chargers
can get after opposing quarterbacks. I always worry about, you know,
to his health now, and I do love Kellen Moore

as the offensive coordinator for the Chargers. I think they
will open some things up, push the ball down the field,
some big plays for the Chargers.

you've ever tried to catch a fish that that weighs anything,
you know that they're pretty slick and it's pretty you know,

on a sandwich, don't you have to use a crinkle

pull ahead, and their defense made some stops with the

playoffs rather, it's it's pretty slim and always has been.

but I think that Kansas City will probably still be Okay.
I still think they're a playoff team, but you know,
it's kind of a bad loss last night, in a

First off, Chre Lane's probably the best group of five
team now with all this movement. They're like the last
team that has enjoyed a major conference. Their quarterback, Michael
Pratt's legit had a big week last week through four tutties.
But Willie Fritz, their head coach there in Tulane, he's
got this team rolling.

Should be a competitive one, you know.

I Ole Miss put up a ton of points last week.
Jackson Darts their quarterbacks a stud, but it's really about
Quinn Shawn Judkins. They're out the running back, true sophomore.
He'll get a lot of touches in this one. It
should be a ton of points, but it should be
a fun game to watch too.

this match up. Bernie co Sar versus Boomer Asias in
Barney versus Boom Right, I got a poster in my

Like I love this matchup, love this game.

I think Cleveland is one of those.

Rosters that's super, super talented.

It's just about putting it all together and finally like
seeing what they're capable of. And we know how good
Cincinnati is at what they're capable of. So it should
be a great game to start off the season.

Oh man, it's gonna be a fun one. I actually
like Cleveland in this spot. I don't know why I
like Cleveland in the spot.

like the elf is I don't know. I guess it's

storyline of two big name quarterbacks. Both both make you know,
hit the headline.

All right, Well maybe I did. Yeah, I'm out on
like throwing the fish around, it's just gross. They smell.
The people there work really hard, but you can tell
they're annoyed having to continue to do the same thing
every time. Some game shows up there and the broadcasters
want to film something for TV. So I'm out.
Speaker 4 (37:45):
I'm in. I like traditions, you know, from Pittsburgh, we
have traditions. You know, we like putting French fries on everything.
French fries yeah, I'm in I'm in on it.
Speaker 3 (37:58):
Yeah.

I like fish. I like fresh fish, sosh. And if
you've ever tried to catch a fish that that weighs anything,
you know that they're pretty slick and it's pretty you know,
difficult to handle them fish. So shots out to the
skill level of those guys and how they'd be moving
them around and wrap up your fish.
Speaker 3 (38:16):
When you By the way, when you put a fry
on a sandwich, don't you have to use a crinkle
cut fry as opposed to a regular shoe string.
Speaker 4 (38:24):
I use shoe strings either. They're they're more like steak fries,
not not not steak fries, but more potato eat potato fries,
you know what I mean.
Speaker 2 (38:35):
Like they're.

You can't explain like those those crinkle slinky style fries
are the way you go on fun.
Speaker 4 (38:42):
I mean, I'm okay with that. I'm not mad at that.
But it's a different type of fry. It's not a
steak fry either, it's not it's not thing cut. It's
like like almost like a boortwalk fry, Like bort rock
fries are pretty yeah, pretty fire, standard standard deal.

Yeah, guys, when you look at the NFL schedule, you
usually circle the game you gotta watch.

It's the first week of the season.

There's a storyline in every game, but I usually circle
the game that I care not to watch. That might
be Cardinals.
Speaker 3 (39:14):
At Commanders this weekend. You guys enter out on this game.
I'm man, Well, now that we bet on it, you
got to be in.

Yeah, I'm really curious to see the Washington command does.
I really want to see if Sam Howell can continue
what he's done, because if so, look out, dude.

That could be one of the surprise teams this year.

It's a lot of positive energy circulating and flowing through
the nation's capital right now too, so it'd be interesting
to see how they're able to handle it.
