Speaker 3 (01:12):
It's a football Monday. Yeah, it is.

Speaker 2 (01:15):
Always like it.

Speaker 3 (01:17):
Yeah, double barrel action and Monday night football. That's right,
double barrel Yeah, a long time football Monday Night. Don't
you that? Saints Panthers? Yeah? How about that Steller's Browns Browns. Yeah,
so it'll be that'll be a fun look.

Speaker 2 (01:34):
At Can I ask this sure? Which?

Speaker 1 (01:37):
Well, I guess we've already got We've already got our
own two teams we kind of went through, like which
teams we believe in could.

Speaker 2 (01:45):
Come back out of it. I don't.

Speaker 1 (01:47):
I don't think the Steelers can afford to go into now, Like,
first off, you've got two home games bad bad look,
especially considering the pressure that was on their offense Matt
Canada last year. And then after a preseason where you
look good week one look bad. Now everyone chocks up to, hey,

(02:08):
that's San Francisco. They've got one of the best defenses. Okay,
we'll get might give you a pass. But now you've
got a Cleveland Browns defense that's much improved. I mean,
Jim Schwartz has that group just getting after opposing quarterbacks
as Joe Burrow from week one, and you're gonna be
putting Kenny Picktt in that position in prime time and
you go, oh into in front of that home crowd

(02:30):
again what we say eleven point five percent, Jonas you
said earlier, I just feel like in the AFC North,
as tough of a division as that is, is gonna
be to be able to win, and you already drop
one divisional game to Cleveland like it's a it's a
it's an uphill battle from there. Man, Tomlins, He's he's
loyal to his coaching staff. I just if this offense

(02:52):
doesn't pick it up, doesn't find a way of winning tonight,
I think they're a really tough spot.

Speaker 3 (02:57):
Now. The Kenny Pickett stuff, I mean, at some point,
I mean Albert Breer has got to be held accountable
for his words, all right, because he came on the
air and was talking about Man, I've talked to certain people,
and I think one of the one of the things
that he used was they believe Kenny Picket could be
a top five quarterback in the league, and that he's
had this awesome training camp and this preseason that was

(03:18):
a disaster last week. If he goes out again and
they got to deal with Miles Garrett who had a
monster game in week one, and he comes out flat
the other side. Man, Like, they're pretty balanced up front.

Speaker 1 (03:31):
I just got those wide nines where they're just you're
just waiting to sprint off the edge of No.

Speaker 3 (03:36):
No, man, it just it feels like this could be
a problem. I agree. If they go down and they
lose to the Browns and it looks ugly, it's a problem.
Problem for the Steelers, it is a problem for the
Philillis in the Burg. All right, So speaking of teams
that have problems, But what about for Cleveland? What if
Cleveland were to lose this game? What are we thinking?

(03:57):
They're they're one on one though, if they lose the game,
I get that, but what what I mean that's still
AFC North, It's it's a lost Stiller, which is just
maybe considered the top team and the and but look
at it this way.

Speaker 2 (04:09):
If I know you trying to defend your Steelers here, No,
I'm not trying.

Speaker 3 (04:12):
I'm just asking what what do we think about Cleveland
if they were to take this z L. I mean,
now they're on.

Speaker 1 (04:18):
They're playing well, sure, but like that's bad. First off,
they're losing Steelers like on the road. That's a little
more understandable. Like if they end up splitting with them
this year, you're not as concerned if you're the Steelers
and you lose to Cleveland at home, and then you
eventually have to go up to Cleveland to plan, like
you're behind the eight ball. You own one division, you're
zero and two at home. You're gonna have to eventually

(04:40):
go up and play the same team later on. That
I think is only going to get better, Like I
think this offense is going to continue to grow, and
I think defensively, like they their defense might carry them
this year, which is exactly what they need. And it's
something I've been saying forever, like everyone keeps focusing on
the quarterback in Cleveland. Gets your defense right, Like it

(05:00):
doesn't matter how good the quarterback player, what they look
like offensively, get your defense right, and then we can
continue to work from there because you've got a run game,
you got a defense, and you could build from there
with Deshaun Watson as he gets more comfortable and solidified
in this offense. So if they dropped tonight's game, which
I mean, isn't Pittsburgh favorite.

Speaker 3 (05:21):
No, No, it's the Cleveland Browns are now two point favorites,
dropped down a little bit.

Speaker 2 (05:26):
Yeah, but I don't think it's more.

Speaker 3 (05:29):
I think more the question is not more geared towards Pittsburgh.
If if Cleveland were to lose to Pittsburgh, I think
it's more geared towards I saw a Ravens team that
may be better than what I originally thought they were
going to be. And so now you're talking about and
I don't know, you know, the question will maybe be there,

(05:49):
maybe not so much because again we've saw this happen
to the Cincinnati before. But you would have still assume
that the top two teams in the North AFC North
would be the Cincinnati Bengals and the Baltimore Ravens, and
then take your pick, you know, with Cleveland and with Pittsburgh.

(06:11):
So what I'm saying is is, if if the Steelers
were to be able to beat the Browns tonight, doesn't
that put them behind the eight ball as well? If
you're thinking that Cincinnati is going to bounce back and
start to be Cincinnati, and then it looks like.

Speaker 1 (06:29):
I mean, they've already got a game up on though, right, Like, yeah,
they do, they do, so they do again, I think
that the storylines more if given Tomlin and last year,
like obviously they end up having a winning season, he's
never had a losing season. But you start off oh
and two the statistics are against you. Two games you
lose at home, a place that is so tough to play,

(06:52):
I think you frustrate a fan base that's the best
in the NFL. I mean, i'd say between Raiders and Steelers,
those are probably the two best.

Speaker 3 (06:59):
Fan base ballasts. And they played that.

Speaker 1 (07:01):
Yeah, but yeah, so I'm just saying, like, if you
there's more panic in Steelers fans you dropped to zero
to two than there is for the Browns fans if
they sit there at one to one.

Speaker 3 (07:12):
But that's a panic they should be used to because
Pennsylvania teams football teams usually struggling in Ohio football teams. Anyways,
I mean.

Speaker 1 (07:19):
That's that's been you know, my experience. But the LeVar
I'm sure will feel.

Speaker 3 (07:23):
Different, you know, even go back to the Big thirty three,
you know, I mean that's cool.

Speaker 5 (07:28):
Damn, damn.

Speaker 3 (07:29):
I mean, it wasn't like that for me.

Speaker 1 (07:31):
But we told, we told Pennsylvania like y'all should just
shut this game.

Speaker 2 (07:36):
Down, Big thirty.

Speaker 3 (07:40):
Just keep in mind the Big thirty three was never
played in Ohio. It's the medium to come see us.

Speaker 1 (07:47):
I think I feel like my year was playing in
Ohio though, but it didn't matter. I mean, we couldn't
even have our best guys playing and we still whooped.

Speaker 3 (07:54):
That ass hand. Right, I'm just saying we whooped the
ass one. I guess we'll just split that outlier. You know, No,
I don't think so. You know, we played ball in PA.
You know, we challenged Cleveland Saint Ignacious to to a
to a championship type game my freshman year when we

(08:14):
won it all and was number number three in the
USA Today polls, and Ignacious was one they didn't want
to play us. Yeah, you know, the forward two was
coming for you. It was all good man. In fact,
you know, we played Ohio State twice during my tenure
in Pennsylvania at the State College of damn, you know, Pennsylvania,

(08:34):
and you know we we beat them two out of
three times, and I enjoyed the one year because they
they actually helped my my draft grade. Yeah, they they
just helped my draft grade so much. I mean, that
was you know, everybody was like Nial Digs, Nil Digs,
This this the nil dig Show. And then you know,

(08:56):
then the first year was the Katsamoyer. You know, this
is Edny Cat to Moyer. Do you know the best
linebacker prospecting so long? And then this guy from Pittsburgh
went out there and well they didn't talk about Kats
and Moyer that day. I'll tell you that. I'll tell
you that. Yeah, I'm just.

Speaker 1 (09:15):
Saying they don't even match They don't even match up
versus uh, Ohio anymore.

Speaker 3 (09:20):
It's Maryland. Yeah, what you trying to say, man, I'm
just trying to say, what's too bad? Let's see what's
what's the all time record?

Speaker 2 (09:32):
I'm trying to look it up right now a.

Speaker 4 (09:36):
Time.

Speaker 1 (09:38):
There's the thing is that they don't show it. Probably
because the Pennsylvania when he sets this up, so they
probably don't want to show that all time record versus Ohio.

Speaker 3 (09:46):
Oh my gosh. All right, whatever, all right, let's see
what we got here. Pennsylvania history.

Speaker 2 (09:55):
Damn not, Harry can.

Speaker 3 (09:58):
It really doesn't.

Speaker 2 (10:00):
That's what I'm saying.

Speaker 1 (10:00):
They're hiding something like they're like, hey, we've got a game.

Speaker 2 (10:03):
But we want to see you with the results.

Speaker 3 (10:04):
Maybe they get settled tonight.

Speaker 2 (10:06):
I mean they beat Maryland last year, so good good
for Pa.

Speaker 5 (10:09):
There.

Speaker 3 (10:09):
Yeah, I don't know, I'm looking for it, but let
me say this, Ohio does play good football. Pennsylvania broke
the tie and now leads the overall series eight to seven.
Pennsylvania has won eight games to Ohio's seven.

Speaker 2 (10:33):
There you go, well, listen, I played more than fifteen times.

Speaker 3 (10:36):
That's the issue. So that's not really there you go, here,
you go, you see it? Do you see it?

Speaker 5 (10:42):
Yeah?

Speaker 3 (10:43):
The Big thirty three game history there, I mean you
could say they played more than fifteen times. I mean
saying eight.

Speaker 1 (10:50):
They played between nineteen ninety three to twenty twelve, and
then seventy two to seventy six. I don't know, Matt,
I'm not a math major, but I'm pretty sure that's
over fifteen.

Speaker 3 (11:01):
Just reading what it's it. I did not just show you.
I'm just showing you what it said. Listen.

Speaker 2 (11:05):
Yeah, sometimes you don't like the facts though, I don't know.

Speaker 3 (11:10):
I'm just reading what was on the the Big thirty
three Game History. Would you guys like to hear a
coach of the red ass? Who was the coach would
have read after two weeks? But I don't like the facts.
A team for the Internet.

Speaker 2 (11:24):
I mean, I'm just telling you that's more than fifteen
years pal.

Speaker 3 (11:27):
Oh I could dig it. I just read what was
on their big thirty three history page.

Speaker 1 (11:32):
Their history doesn't go past twenty thirteen stuff I'm looking at.

Speaker 3 (11:35):
So I might be right. Damn we eight and seven
up against Ohio whatever that number where it came from.
I know that, damn right, we're ahead of Ohio. I
know they're talking about Ohio is not ahead of PA.

Speaker 1 (11:48):
I don't know what page you're looking at, because every
time I click on these different eras flag on the play,
we can't find the page you're looking for. Okay, Still,
I think the problem is is you're looking at something
completely different.

Speaker 3 (12:00):
I just showed I just showed Jonas. Guys, right there,
it's right there. It's on a PDF. Well, who cares
about that?

Speaker 5 (12:08):
I do.

Speaker 2 (12:09):
Let's go, look, we got to pay off the team.

Speaker 4 (12:12):
Yeah you want to hear a red ass? Brandon Staley,
the head coach of the LA Chargers. He's got a
red ass because he was asked following the loss at
Tennessee in overtime yesterday about is there any lingering effect
from the playoff loss and collapse against the Jacksonville Jaguars.
Let's take a list, and here was the bulls head coach.

Speaker 6 (12:34):
I'm not worried about the Jacksonville loss. The Jacksonville loss
hasn't carried on to the season whatsoever. If you've seen
our training camp or you've seen the way we've played
in the first two games, it hasn't had an impact
on our team whatsoever. Our team has connected, our team
has played its hard out in two games, and we've
lost two tough games. But there has nothing to do
with the Jacksonville game. And if you ask anyone in
our locker room, it has nothing to do with the
Jacksonville game.

Speaker 2 (12:55):
And that's just the truth.

Speaker 6 (12:56):
It's a convenience storyline for you and for everybody else,
but it's not the truth.

Speaker 2 (13:01):
We've lost two tough games.

Speaker 6 (13:02):
But the guys in that locker room, the men in
that locker room, they are finishers and they have what
it takes and we're excited to prove ourselves. Yeah, we
just lost a game in overtime, Jeff, So how do
you think the mood is, how do you think the
mood is? How do you think it is. It's tough,
it's tough. It's a tough it's tough group in there.
There's a lot of pride in that room, Okay, and
we put a lot into this and we got a
good football team. And so we've lost two tough games.
We got to bounce back, learn from our mistakes, and

(13:23):
be ready for Minnesota.

Speaker 3 (13:25):
My guy, Brandon Staley, little red ass after two weeks,
I mean, I.

Speaker 5 (13:32):
Mean, look.

Speaker 1 (13:34):
That that was a matchup. That was a matchup they
should have won. I mean, let's let's be real about.

Speaker 2 (13:39):
Us, all right.

Speaker 1 (13:41):
They were favored. I know they're on the road, playing
in Central Time. That's tough a lot of times for
West Coast teams. The truth is the secondary for the
Titans was banged up. They had a favorable matchup. Even
though they didn't have Austin Akiler, they still had josh
'c kelly. They really didn't try to run the football much,
but the Titans are good against the run. This game
should have equated to a shootout. And credit Mike Rabel.

(14:05):
Credit Ryan Tannehill. By the way, he was getting pounded
early on in this game, hung in there, fought back,
made some big throws downfield. You know, nw Hopkins was
playing banged up, he still gave it a go and
still played an impact. I just I think you got
to give the Titans a lot of credit mend this
scrappy and they've got a culture and an identity, and
I think the Chargers are still trying to find what

(14:27):
that is.

Speaker 5 (14:28):
Like.

Speaker 1 (14:28):
I think that's the toughest thing for Brandon Stally is
when you look at the Chargers, I don't know how
to describe them other than a really really talented team.
They've got a quarterback who's incredible and can can make plays.
Yet I don't know what their identity is like. They
don't win games where you feel like they're supposed to

(14:50):
or they should or it's a favorable matchup. And I
don't know if last year and how things finished played
a factor at all. I just know this year they
played in two tight games, they haven't been able to
close it out. And I think it's a lot of
times when you don't know where your identity is when
it comes down to it, you can't lean on that.
You don't know what to go to as your go

(15:10):
to play or what you know you need to do
in order to get a stop and get a win,
because you don't know what that is.

Speaker 2 (15:17):
And that's where I think the Chargers are right now.

Speaker 1 (15:19):
If they don't find it quick, they're gonna be also
trying to find an identity at the new head coach
or as a new head coach.

Speaker 3 (15:24):
And I think it also showed how valuable Austin Eckler
was because without him there was no there was nobody
they could depend on. And then they had an opportunity.

Speaker 5 (15:33):
I don't know about that.

Speaker 3 (15:34):
Justin Herbert took a sack on third down late in
the game, they get to overtime three straight in completions
that just felt.

Speaker 1 (15:42):
Look, the echo of thing hurt them. The Titans weren't
gonna let them run football. That's one of the better
run defenses in the NFL. So I mean, maybe passing
game you're saying, but like Keenan Allen might, I mean,
they all those guys pitched in.

Speaker 3 (15:52):
It was a defensive struggle game though more or less,
I mean, it wasn't an offensive driven game.

Speaker 1 (15:59):
But that's the thing is that should have been like
when you got Herbert and they're talent, a wide receiver
and a banged up secondary and honestly a team that
Titans really can't get after from the edge, at least
not like most teams can. Like that should have been
a win for LA and again, honestly, like looking at
it, it was just it's crazy to think that they couldn't

(16:20):
close out that game, especially how it look kind of
looked early on.

Speaker 4 (16:24):
We are brought to you by DraftKings, the NFL's here.

So coming up next here, there was some news that
came out of the NFL over the weekend, very interesting

(16:44):
and it could be some stuff we've never seen before,
and we'll have that for you right here on Fox
Sports Radio.

Speaker 7 (16:51):
Be sure to catch live editions of Two Pros and
a Cup of Joe with Brady Quinn, LeVar Errington, and
Jonas Knox weekdays at six am Eastern three am Pacific
on Fox Sports Radio and the iHeartRadio app.

Speaker 4 (17:05):
Two pros and a cup of Joe here on Fox
Sports Radio. Coming up, and we'll call it a little
over fifteen minutes from now, we're going to close up
shop here with another edition of You In or You Out,
and that's yours here on FSR. But right now we
welcome in doctor David Chow. Listen, it's been way too long.
He's our official injury expert when it comes to Fox
Sports Radio. He's been doing it a long time, spent

(17:27):
a long time in the NFL as a team doctor
for the Chargers back in the day. And doctor Chow
is with us here joining us now, Doctor Chow, how
are you?

Speaker 3 (17:36):
Good morning?

Speaker 5 (17:36):
I'm doing great. I'm glad leak called. I mean it's
been a little while. You're right.

Speaker 3 (17:42):
I think Super Bowl, right was the last time we
had a chance to hang out.

Speaker 5 (17:47):
I know what gives? I thought my phone was broken?

Speaker 4 (17:49):
Yeah, what the hell's going on there? Apparently yeah, apparently
lead to lap you know, must have skipped on that,
so we'll blame him for But in all seriousness, doctor Chow,
we appreciate your time. We wanted to actually get yours
first and foremost. What the hell's this surgery? Aaron Rodgers
is getting done. What is so unique about it.

Speaker 3 (18:06):
That we were hearing reports that it was aimed with
the possibility of him maybe returning coming up in January.

Speaker 5 (18:15):
Good question. The technique, the use of the speed bridge.
That technique is well over a decade old. It's been around.

Speaker 2 (18:26):
It's not groundbreaking, dot.

Speaker 5 (18:30):
It's a sexy name. Speed bridge. Yeah, just like tightrope.
You hear about these things. But the surgery, look, I'm
not trying to be mystify it, but the sturgery is
very straightforward, okay. And the repair. Look when it happened,
obviously it looks like he's in by video and that
turned out to be true that day and the next

(18:51):
morning I said, there's a snowballs chance that Aaron Rodgers
could play again this season. And I think a lot
of people on Twitter otherwise poop pood me. And what
I was saying is this, Yes, he's forty years old,
but Cam Akers returned in six months to play running back. Okay,
not one hundred percent, but he played running back. Aaron

(19:15):
Rodgers is quarterback. It's just a different animal, right in
terms of not needing the same stuff. Is it possible
for him at five months to get out there and
do something. Yes, but if the Jets get to the
playoffs with Zach Wilson, are you now yanking him now?
So you know they just got to get the playoffs.

(19:36):
Zak Wilson's got to get him there, and perhaps Zach
Wilson needs to unfortunately get hurt after getting the playoffs,
then maybe Aaron Rodgers can play. But this technique thing
doesn't change anything. But I am very confident that Aaron
Rodgers plays next year and it recovers well enough to
play next year.

Speaker 1 (19:52):
At the beginning, I was going to ask you, I mean,
obviously the Jets have to make the playoffs. That's the
first step. Everyone's getting way ahead of themselves. The second
thing is is it worth the risk? I mean, what
would be the risks of bringing him back if he
could make it back in I don't know, four or
five months, whatever it is, and if the Jets made
the playoffs, Like, in your mind as a team medical physician,

(20:14):
because you've been in this position, are you looking at
the team saying like, hey, guys, like this guy's coming
in cold, he hasn't played this Maybe isn't a good idea.
We've got a guy who to your point got us
here in Zach Wilson, Why are we just kicking him
to the wayside and go with Rogers like, isn't there
kind of like a don't sacrifice what you want most

(20:35):
maybe in twenty twenty four for what you want right now?

Speaker 5 (20:38):
No, no question in the it's a multivariate analysis. And
you know last year when they was talking about Jimmy
g playing for the forty nine ers in the Super Bowl,
I was like, well, ay, I don't think he's going
to get there. Be you're going to bring in Jimmy G.
Wh rock perty got you to the super Bowl? It
just doesn't make any sense. Now. I do get that
come about mid season when you see Aaron Rodgers on

(20:59):
the sideline walking around in a boot and looking at
him move around in the boot, the talk is going
to restart again, assuming the Chests can win some games.
But you know there are ways to protect it. You know,
you could put him in an AFO ankle foot or
socist et cetera. It's something that Dan Marina wore back
in the day. I don't know if you guys are
old enough you remember that what the little boot kind

(21:22):
of thing that he limped around in so there are
ways to protect it. And it is his front's foot,
so you know, less of a deal in terms of pushoffs,
and you know that Brady in terms of the throwing motion,
and of course Aaron Rodgers has a strong arm, so
there is a snowballs chance. But you know, I do
believe that he will be there and ready to go,

(21:43):
and everyone's like, go aged forty. First of all, I
define young. Is anyone younger than me? So I think
Aaron Rodgers is young. Let's get that out there. But look,
even if Aaron Rodgers loses half a step, isn't he
more mobile and faster than Tom Brady at forty five?
I mean yeah, So, I mean it's still I think

(22:03):
it's very feasible that for next season. This season it's
you know, a lottery chance of playing dog.

Speaker 3 (22:12):
And in terms of the exactness of what needs to
be most focused in on, what do you think is
the biggest factor? Is it the ligament or excuse me,
the tendon itself, or is it the calf muscle?

Speaker 5 (22:27):
Is it?

Speaker 3 (22:27):
Like what what do you think in that rehab process,
once it's it's you know, it's fixed now. But what
needs to be the biggest focus. I know my calf muscle.
When I blew mind, my calf muscle disappeared like like
it's still wait and I don't. I don't. I can't
afford to not have all of my calf muscle. But

(22:48):
nonetheless it's it's definitely much smaller than my other calf muscle. Now,
what do you think is the most important part of
what needs to be rehabilitated for him to be able
to actually get out there and be you know, adequate
at what he does.

Speaker 5 (23:07):
Yeah, well, right now, the achilles is fixed, the tendon
is fixed, but it's not heeled. The first part is
just biology, and it's very hard to speed up biology,
the biology of tendon healing. So you're going to have
a mobilization. If you do see Aaron Rodgers around, you're
going to see him, you know, on a little scooter

(23:27):
or crutches, et cetera. Hopefully by six weeks or so
he could be walking around in a boot and maybe
at that point you will see him on the sideline,
like I said, mid season, at some point in time.
But you're right, LeVar, the calf, I mean, the muscle's atrophy,
and you know there's all sorts of things you can
do and stem and training techniques and you know, different

(23:52):
different things you can do to try it nowadays to
try and keep the muscle alive and going some katsu
and their techniques, you know, et cetera. Bask hear of techniques,
but the calf muscle is the big deal now. The
good news, like I said, for Aaron Rodgers front foot

(24:12):
and he's a quarterback and just not the same thing
as you know you LeVar trying to come back and
what you do.

Speaker 4 (24:21):
He's doctor David Chou joining us here on Fox Sports Radio.
He is our official injury expert here at FSR. You
can get him on Twitter at Pro Football Doc. So,
speaking of Calves, I wanted to get your thoughts on
Joe Burrow. How concerning was the reaggravation of the calf
injury he suffered in the off season and yesterday's lost
to Baltimore.

Speaker 5 (24:42):
Well, concerning this way, you know, when it first happened
very early in training camp, I was very certain that
he would be there week one, but we also had
worry of lingering effects and aggravation. That's what happens with calf,
and unfortunately he's now aggravated it now at this point
in time, the worry is that, I mean, it's going

(25:04):
to bother him into October. How much is the question.
And look, if the Bengals are going too so they
need a win. If their backup situation we're healthier, would
the team consider a short rest to try and get
them better. I don't know. I'm not in the building,
but at this point in time, you know, who knows,
maybe there's a AFO that they choose to put him

(25:27):
in ankle pot or throw a sister dynamic one or
something to help him his problem there of course it
is the right calf or a right handed quarterback, and
that's just where it affects him even more. And the
old line is not exactly helping him out either.

Speaker 1 (25:41):
Yeah, it might be a blessing in the skies. Right
they can shure up their offensive line and the mean sign.
And as you said, and I kind of pointed this
out when we talked about it, left foot gives him
a better shot at coming back if all those scenarios
worked out. As compared to right. I mean a lot
of right handed right you know, right hand quarterbacks end
up having like achillesation chose what their right achilles just
because all the pushing off. But I'm more curious, Doc,

(26:04):
You've obviously been around the game for a long time.
Have you ever seen as devastating of an injury given
the hype, the importance of the position, and just everything else.
The way it was documented Rogers going to the Jets, well, I.

Speaker 5 (26:20):
Guess there's no comparison to anything nowadays, the social media
and everything else and the documentation and whatever. I mean. Look,
during the summer, I think most of them didn't love
Aaron Rodgers, right, I mean, I was fine with it,
but then after the hard knocks, everyone was in love
with him and the whole deal. The ironic thing is
it's actually probably happened before, maybe not documented in the

(26:42):
same way, and it's happened to the Jets. The guy
who did the coin flip that week one, any Testaverity
was the herald at New York Giants quarterback that was
going to take him to the promise plan. The guy
who did the coin flip tore his achilles in week
one for the Jets. So I don't know what happened there,
but Jets fans y know.

Speaker 1 (27:01):
But come on now, and Viny's not looked at as
a first Bell Hall of Famer. I mean, Rogers was like,
I'm just saying, like, I can't think of even any
other sport where it's looked.

Speaker 3 (27:09):
At the same.

Speaker 5 (27:11):
I get that. But if you go back to nineteen
ninety nine, vating Testi Verdi was Okay, he's not Aaron Rodgers,
but he was viewed as the savior coming in for
the Jets, and you know, taking a good Jets team
to the promise. Man, that's the only comparison. I get it.

Speaker 1 (27:26):
He's got the pies on passion, That's what that's about.

Speaker 2 (27:29):
Yeah, well, Testa Verdi.

Speaker 4 (27:32):
Get him on Twitter at Pro Football Doc. He is
doctor David Chow, official injury expert for Fox Sports Radio
and was in the NFL for a long long time.
Doctor Chow. Let's do this again soon. Let's not make
it so long. Try not to be too cool for us.

Speaker 3 (27:45):
Man, it's been months my phone, Warks, buddy, Yeah, there
he is doctor Chow with this year.

Speaker 4 (27:52):

Well, as you said, Jonas, we have double barrel action
with Monday Night Football tonight.

Speaker 3 (29:50):
Are you guys in or out on the double barrel
action on Monday Night in?

Speaker 5 (29:53):
I'm in.

Speaker 3 (29:55):
You should do it every week. I'll be tired for
this show tomorrow, but I'll be in. I'm in for
it for certain.

Speaker 2 (30:00):
I've told you my position all this.

Speaker 5 (30:02):
I think they.

Speaker 1 (30:02):
Should spread out primetime games throughout the week. I'm sorry,
like I need football on Tuesdays? Yeah, I need football
on Wednesdays. We have football on Thursdays Fridays. I'm giving
the high schools good Saturday College, but I need it
every other day. It's a professional league. You should be
able to work it out scheduling. It'd be better for

(30:23):
players too, working in more rest as opposed to being
stuck in these short weeks playing Sunday than Thursday. I
just or even Monday and then Sunday, right Like, I'd
love to see them figure out a schedule where you
put them in prime time throughout the course of the week.
Television's changed now, folks, it's appointment television. You want to

(30:43):
watch a sitcom, you go record it, or you've already
got it on some app and you're gonna watch it
there or binge it.

Speaker 3 (30:49):
So you don't have to look forward to You don't
want to be like, dang, I hate Tuesday. Got dang
Tuesday last night. I get to look forward to Tuesday.

Speaker 1 (31:00):
I get to look forward to Wednesday because now I've
got games on those days.

Speaker 3 (31:04):
That's a whole lot of looking forward to.

Speaker 2 (31:07):
No, that's how it is in other professional sports.

Speaker 3 (31:10):
I don't want to look forward to football every day.

Speaker 2 (31:13):
I want way.

Speaker 1 (31:13):
I want to be like, yeah, Friday, day, Saturday.

Speaker 3 (31:18):
Every day it's like Friday. It's like, man, I can't
wait for football on Friday for high school. I can't
wait for it on Saturday for college, can't wait for
it on Sunday for pros. Like that's I don't know.
If I did it every day, I feel like I've lost, Like.

Speaker 1 (31:33):
Like I'll but you're doing it every day for a season,
Like you're gonna get into.

Speaker 2 (31:38):
March and April when you're gonna be like, man, wish
I had football.

Speaker 3 (31:41):
To watch that that's when you miss it?

Speaker 2 (31:43):
How mean? Trust me? Like you'll be excited about it.

Speaker 1 (31:46):
Here's the other thing is you get to actually watch
more games. It's hard when you got so many games
that one and four o'clock to see everything.

Speaker 2 (31:54):
It's like you actually get to sit and watch.

Speaker 5 (31:56):
I think that.

Speaker 1 (31:56):
Actually would be better not only for brand building for
like various players, but for like fantasy everything else.

Speaker 2 (32:03):
Like I just I don't know's any way.

Speaker 4 (32:05):
Better stand alone a standalone attention for a bunch of teams,
or maybe games that probably wouldn't get that standalone attention
not buried him in amongst eight games that you can't
watch on the same screen because they don't have a
game mixed.

Speaker 3 (32:18):
Channel for a YouTube TV. It's fair. I don't know fast.
I guess I'd have to experience it to know how
I really truly feel about it.

Speaker 2 (32:26):
You know, well he might have another pandemic.

Speaker 3 (32:30):
Oh, I'm just saying I truly would be okay with it.
You know, if we were watching I'm not really familiar
with this Fauci character.

Speaker 2 (32:38):
Is some games around and then we get it back.
We've got a chance to see it. That's going to
piss some people off.

Speaker 3 (32:44):
Yeah, what else we got?

Speaker 5 (32:45):
Lee?

Speaker 9 (32:45):
Well, if for some reason you're not watching one of
the Monday night football games. The sixteenth Annual Academy of
Country Music Honors, dubbed country music industry's favorite night, We'll
premiere tonight on Fox.

Speaker 3 (32:54):
In or out. This is where every out, It's where
everybody pretends they're a country music fan.

Speaker 1 (32:58):
Yeah, no, I'm sorry. I know it's on Fox. I've
got football to watch?

Speaker 3 (33:02):
Is it on Fox?

Speaker 2 (33:04):
You know what?

Speaker 3 (33:05):
Huge fan? Ow? I think? Uh, I'm gonna give this
uh the attention it deserves. Ow big fan of anything
that Fox does. To be honest with you, you are
such I love their Let me get this white place
trust you.

Speaker 2 (33:21):
Know where his affiliates with this white Yeah, he would
sell his.

Speaker 3 (33:26):
Soul literally more than that. What else we got? Oh wow?

Speaker 9 (33:30):
As we had talked about it last week ranking his kids,
he actually addressed the issue this weekend.

Speaker 3 (33:36):
Take a listen to Dion here.

Speaker 10 (33:38):
It's tough. My kids rankings are tough. It's a serious
run right now, It really is. It's a serious run
right now. I'm the only one that's honest about ranking
my kids. And you guys like you love all of
them the same and you don't.

Speaker 2 (33:53):
Know why y'all like that, you in are out on
ranking your kids.

Speaker 3 (33:56):
You guys, I'm in.

Speaker 2 (33:58):
First off, I asked them on our show.

Speaker 1 (33:59):
I'm glad we pulled the sound from that there Lee No, but.

Speaker 2 (34:03):
The truth of the matter is, like I love all
my kids the same.

Speaker 1 (34:07):
Now I might have a different relationship and connection with
each one of them. But to say I don't love
them the same, like, that's where he done messed up.

Speaker 3 (34:14):
Like, I'm sorry, I don't love my kids the same. Yeah,
that's you. Then I know rank because I ranked them.
I will rank my kids. Go ahead, No, I would
rank God, don't do it, but I would do it.
You can't say it then not do it. No, I'm
not doing it. Apparently don't know. I love them. I
do love them, I just you know, just have a

(34:35):
different way of loving them. Hey, Bratdy, what do you
mean you there was some sound from Dion.

Speaker 2 (34:41):
I mean we had them on Big New Kickoff.

Speaker 3 (34:43):
Apparently Lee couldn't find that. Yeah, I definitely did. Was
that he is looking at that when he reached out
due me and Lee?

Speaker 2 (34:51):
Uh oh it was we were a little drunk.

Speaker 3 (34:55):
Huh, I was drinking.

Speaker 1 (34:58):
Well, he still didn't play the sound that I asked
him to play this entire shot.

Speaker 3 (35:03):
Well we got that, Okay, let's get to it.

Speaker 1 (35:06):
You know, I was, I don't with the time someone
was running out.

Speaker 2 (35:13):
That's not the.

Speaker 3 (35:14):
Sound that was. That was last week. That was lastright,
what else we it worked out?

Speaker 5 (35:19):
Though?

Speaker 3 (35:20):
All right, it's uh oh here it is intentional browning
offense number seven. I'm talking to America.

Speaker 5 (35:30):
Here school.

Speaker 3 (35:32):
A loss of down, tucking down, I'm talking to America.

Speaker 2 (35:36):
Good talking to America.

Speaker 3 (35:38):
Wasn't that that was in his face?

Speaker 5 (35:39):
Ye?

Speaker 2 (35:40):
Yeah, I mean it was an awful call. He wasn't pressured,
Like he wasn't pressured.

Speaker 5 (35:45):
It was a.

Speaker 1 (35:45):
Miscommunication they called intentional grounding like I'm like, that's not
the rule. The officiating has become awful in the NFL
really has.

Speaker 3 (35:55):
Believe we got time for more National Cheeseburger Day. Get
yourself a a junior bacon cheeseburger from a cent.

Speaker 5 (36:00):
