Speaker 4 (01:05):
Tire rack dot com. The way tire buying should be
two tempers and a couple of teppers. Yeah, what do
you mean? Well, I mean I was directing that at you,
you know, to Temper and a couple. Yeah, did you
put it together yet?
Speaker 5 (01:23):
Not yet?
Speaker 4 (01:23):
Okay? What does tepper do? Was he run through? Jeez?
Was run through coaches? Does? That's all I was just saying.
I just wanted you to get it in a way
where it was kind of like cryptic, you know, yeah,
not too in your face, and you know.
Speaker 3 (01:43):
I mean, it's been it's been a bold day for
those of you just tuning in. A couple of highlights
from the show thus far. Alberbrears, Albert Brears wife was
yelling at his son or daughter in the car that
I believe it.
Speaker 4 (01:59):
Yeah, so there was that for certain.
Speaker 3 (02:07):
By the way, we should actually put together intro for
Albert Breer and include that in the imaging.
Speaker 4 (02:12):
Of the intro. Oh yeah, with the Ohio State fight
fight song and Albert's wife yelling at yelling in the car.
They were in negotiations, is what they were, and mom
was winning.
Speaker 1 (02:24):
But by the way, Albert really didn't have much to
say in regards to the outcome, but he talked a
lot of trash this year.
Speaker 4 (02:31):
He did. I let him off. We let him off.
I mean we could have went after him. Yeah, he
came after both you guys. He did very very arrogant
about it too, like very very kind of dismissive towards us,
like even having a chance to win against his Buckey.
I think, I'm sure. I mean so, I'm sure Ryan
(02:52):
Day immediately thought about lou Holts soon as they lost
that game.
Speaker 3 (02:56):
So when they play again next year, we're going to
be what going on eighteen hundred, nineteen hundred days.
Speaker 5 (03:02):
Since the last time days.
Speaker 4 (03:03):
Yeah, that's a long last time man.
Speaker 5 (03:06):
And I said this before, I'll say it again. Had
they played the COVID year.
Speaker 1 (03:10):
Ohio State would have beat them, and so it wouldn't
feel quite the way it does because it's not even
three in a row, but it's been, you know, four years,
because you have to go back to the twenty nineteen game,
since they didn't play in twenty twenty.
Speaker 4 (03:25):
That so much like Albert said, that's a lot of weight.
That's a lot of weight to carry into a game, man,
especially knowing that that's the game.
Speaker 3 (03:33):
So let me ask you guys this question though, because
we didn't get to talk about this specifically on Monday
after the game, and I know it's been a few days,
but there's probably still some people licking their wounds over
the fact that Ohio State was getting three and a
half points Michigan electing to kick the field goal as
(03:53):
opposed to trying to go forward on fourth down when
they were deep inside Ohio State territory. I thought, in
that spot, with them having Ohio State on the ropes
and that drive being what it was, why give Ohio
State an opportunity to go down and score a touchdown?
With the way Marvin Harrison Junior was playing, I thought
they would have gone forward.
Speaker 4 (04:13):
On fourth down.
Speaker 5 (04:14):
What was it fourth and two? I thought it was
more than fourth and one, wasn't it. Ah?
Speaker 4 (04:19):
Yes, I want to say, let me look up the
uh get this specific.
Speaker 1 (04:22):
Because that's the ultimate determination. I mean, it's not like
they hadn't played gutsy at least throwing more as.
Speaker 5 (04:29):
Far as the decision making goes, I mean, they had.
Speaker 1 (04:30):
Already gone for four prior or excuse me, three prior
fourth downs, So like I don't think that's in question.
I think it was a scenario where like and then
this is this is where you give Sean More a
lot of credit. Every head coach is to me, it
came down to what they they felt like the game
flow was.
Speaker 5 (04:48):
And if it was like fourth and three.
Speaker 1 (04:50):
Which I think it might have been, that's that's a
little much where you might say to yourself, let's kick it,
let's see if they can.
Speaker 5 (04:56):
Go down the field and get a touchdown.
Speaker 4 (04:58):
Obviously, fourth and four at the I was Sea's nineteen
with a minute five left.
Speaker 5 (05:03):
I just I think I'm not like that thought ran
through my head.
Speaker 1 (05:07):
But as I was watching it, I was thinking, man,
it's gonna be tough for them on the road with
that pass rush and the coverage as good.
Speaker 5 (05:16):
As Marvin Harrison is, and they were working their way
down to not have a mistake or something happened.
Speaker 1 (05:21):
Like I just, I think those odds are probably better
in your favorite.
Speaker 5 (05:24):
It obviously proved to be the case.
Speaker 4 (05:26):
By the way, I don't want to give away any
piece of Quinn's wins tomorrow on the show, but if
there's going to be an upset this weekend, who do
we think it is?
Speaker 5 (05:35):
I'd be Louisville.
Speaker 1 (05:36):
I mean, that's the one you look at and say,
you know, come on, like it's the tightest spread.
Speaker 5 (05:41):
It's the one that if you look at.
Speaker 1 (05:43):
The different pieces and why their defense has probably been
the best side of the football year, most consistent. They've
got playmakers on offense. Jordan's a home run hit, or
the backfield Thrash can make play as.
Speaker 5 (05:54):
A wide receiver.
Speaker 1 (05:55):
And Brom I'm telling you, man, Jeff Brom is one
hell of a coach. He knows how to get his
team up in these big moments. And and look, it
was great and a nice comeback by Florida State last
week with with Tate roddenmaker and really.
Speaker 5 (06:10):
It was more the defense more, you know, some.
Speaker 1 (06:12):
Of the playmakers stepping up Benson in particular, but that
was against like a backup on the road of Florida.
I just I feel like that's the one that you
look at and say, that could be the upset. I mean,
it is the tightest spread though, so it's not really
going out on Eleven's kind of shocky if you will.
Speaker 4 (06:27):
I mean, it's an Alabama Georgia this weekend.
Speaker 5 (06:29):
Yeah, it is. There is six point underdog I believe
last time I.
Speaker 4 (06:32):
Looked, Alabama is yeah. Yeah, that's my biggest upset right there.
Speaker 1 (06:36):
Yeah, and it very well could happen, right Like George's
played some tight, you know, close games, and you know,
we'll see.
Speaker 4 (06:43):
I could have lost five and a half five and
a half places. Geez.
Speaker 3 (06:49):
I mean Washington getting nine and a half against Oregon.
That seems like a little much rights. Yeah, hell yeah,
that's almost so fishy to me.
Speaker 1 (06:59):
It's almost like you might want to think about Landham
because someone knows something, right.
Speaker 4 (07:04):
Yeah.
Speaker 3 (07:05):
So, I mean, and I feel like our show, and
not all of our show, because I feel like some
of us were a little bit more optimistic on Iowa
yesterday than others. But that line did drop a half point,
so it's no longer got no chance now I'm seeing it.
Twenty two and a half they got Wow, they got
no chance? Hey, so Sam, they're getting twenty two and
a half points.
Speaker 1 (07:25):
I was gonna say, I'd shop around. I've seen places
where it was like twenty three and a half.
Speaker 5 (07:27):
I've seen twenty one and a half got down that far. Wow.
Speaker 6 (07:32):
But according to another networks, sorry just to interrupt here,
it's another network's statistics or I don't know analysis of that.
Of this, Iowa has a seven percent chance to win.
Speaker 1 (07:44):
Well, yeah, we're not worried about that. Where we're a
covering buddy, We're trying to make people money here, they're like,
come on sale. It's like ast for a miracle. Cover buddy.
It's like we're lucky charms this morning and hoping he
one of these are going to cash in, you know, trying.
Speaker 6 (08:00):
Now you're on my page, Brady, I see, I see
what Michigan's going.
Speaker 1 (08:04):
Yesterday I was talking about the fact that they could cover,
not that they'd win. You were trying to You were
just trying to screw trying to be positive about I
was being realistic.
Speaker 5 (08:13):
I'm still trying to be positive.
Speaker 4 (08:15):
They're going to get destroyed.
Speaker 6 (08:17):
Here we go again, positivity in the betting angle, and
they're going to get destroyed.
Speaker 1 (08:21):
Hey, not to bring it back to the first hour
and something that LeVar loves, But what's what's the sound
going to be when if Michigan is just running up
and down the field.
Speaker 4 (08:31):
Against Iowa, what's the sound what's the sound sound? What
is the sound like.
Speaker 3 (08:36):
Just the sound of Michigan going up and down the
field on Iowa. If Levar's watching that game, haven't.
Speaker 5 (08:40):
Are you really not with this right now?
Speaker 4 (08:42):
Sound like? Is that what we're looking for about it?
Speaker 5 (08:47):
Yes? Sam, the one that you dropped, super.
Speaker 4 (08:50):
Good about it. I was being you know, I was being.
Speaker 5 (08:52):
Commanded to do that.
Speaker 4 (08:53):
What what is thee? Where is that from? Like?
Speaker 7 (08:56):
What would from up on games? Plexical bursts? That was
we get a couple I thought it was Levaro. No,
that's definitely plaid. That's really funny.
Speaker 5 (09:07):
A couple more just I mean that might have for
the first few plays you might be saying that, yeah.
Speaker 4 (09:18):
You know what.
Speaker 3 (09:20):
You know what though, Sam, it's a conference title game
and just start drinking.
Speaker 6 (09:26):
Oh yeah, you get out of here two hours. I
got a hot roast ready to go.
Speaker 5 (09:31):
Did I tell you guys?
Speaker 1 (09:32):
By the way, the last time the Big Ten West
won the Big Ten championship.
Speaker 4 (09:37):
Nineteen twenty never and this never happened.
Speaker 1 (09:39):
Yeah, you have to go back to what Wisconsin when
they're in the leaders in the legends, I.
Speaker 6 (09:43):
Believe, right, and they've rolled over Nebraska like yeah, and
they had like five hundred rushing yards.
Speaker 1 (09:48):
What's been the against the spreads? As I mean obviously
like Michigan's dominated the last few years. But even know
how State did. I mean, I'm trying to think through
I mean, clearly the twenty fourteen one he covered it
was fifty nine to nothing. So I'm trying to go
back through my mind to think of what games were close.
Speaker 6 (10:05):
Well, actually, Iowa Michigan State in twenty fifteen was like
a two point game.
Speaker 1 (10:09):
I'm I can't remember who was the favorite. I think
it was Michigan State one though, Yeah, I think I
think they were the favorite. Yeah, and I think they
won by what two or three?
Speaker 6 (10:15):
I think it was fifteen thirteen. That was a very
painful game to watch, especially the end.
Speaker 5 (10:19):
No, that was glorious. Stop it, football, stop it.
Speaker 1 (10:23):
They had like an eighteen Let me appreciate low scoring,
tight defensive games.
Speaker 5 (10:27):
We're punting, especially directional punting matters.
Speaker 6 (10:31):
Well, I mean, Iowa had a perfect season on the
line and they put together Michigan State put together I think,
like an eighteen play drive and cashed it at the
end of it. It was just a soul sucker.
Speaker 4 (10:39):
Did Wisconsin?
Speaker 5 (10:40):
I never see that anymore?
Speaker 3 (10:41):
In twenty twelve, did Wisconsin beat Nebraska seventy to thirty one?
Speaker 4 (10:45):
Yeah? Hell legends leaders. Yeah.
Speaker 3 (10:48):
Yeah, that's not Big ten football. That's disgusting. Sounds like
the Big twelve. That was MANI ball right, Uh yeah,
yeah he was the MVP. He was a baller, Yes
he was.
Speaker 5 (10:59):
Wow.
Speaker 1 (11:00):
Always have great running backs. I was speaking of Berlin
Allen just declared for the draft, which rightfully, so Baller.
Speaker 3 (11:06):
I mean, uh, now, will Iowa score more than three
points like they did a couple of years ago against Michigan.
Speaker 4 (11:11):
That's really I hope. So yeah, how about how about six? Yeah?
Speaker 1 (11:16):
I think they can score a touchdown or a couple
of field goals. I mean Michigan doesn't have like think
about that. That was back when they had what Hutchinson
a jabo.
Speaker 6 (11:25):
They still have the number one defense in the Big Ten.
Speaker 5 (11:27):
I understand the ranking, and I think.
Speaker 6 (11:29):
The number one scoring defense to country, don't they They're giving
up ten.
Speaker 1 (11:32):
Stop stop rates, one of the best metrics to go by, which,
by the way, Iowa Michigan I think I'm both top three.
So I mean, you can compliment Michigan as much as
you want. Ioa was defense right up there too. Granted
they haven't played the toughest offenses. Being the Big Ten
West but.
Speaker 6 (11:47):
They played a good offense in Penn State and drew
aller had As.
Speaker 1 (11:53):
That's the biggest issue is if you look at the schedule.
Speaker 4 (11:58):
Give that loss a little bit to us, and we
just y'all just weren't good enough. That's all. Our offense
wasn't what it needed to be, wasn't what it needed
to be good good? What did you just call our offense?
It is true, we gave us fools. Gold is what
you gave us. You made, you had us thinking our
offense was better than what it was. It was all
(12:20):
wet out there.
Speaker 1 (12:21):
That that's only if you comb through the film for Iowa,
you're like, man, these guys are lights out. Then you're like,
wait a second. The best offense they face put up
forty one on them.
Speaker 5 (12:31):
It's like, I don't know, by the way, a bunch.
Speaker 4 (12:35):
If the Big Ten really wanted to showcase its personality,
why not have this game played at Soldier Field outdoors?
Like screw this dome, Lucas oil crap? Would you do that?
Why would you?
Speaker 5 (12:47):
He's such a like Chicago fan, I want, I want?
What's everything? It's so weird?
Speaker 4 (12:53):
Well stand outside for two hours before you go in
and watch it again.
Speaker 1 (12:57):
That is funny, Like he lives in his bubbles California
and he wants to put everything in Soldier Field or
in Chicago.
Speaker 4 (13:03):
That is very funny.
Speaker 1 (13:04):
But there's one question that Brears about justin Fields, which
I was like, all right, can we ask this like later.
Speaker 5 (13:08):
In the year.
Speaker 3 (13:09):
That was I was trying to get away from the
fact that there was a family fight going on.
Speaker 4 (13:13):
There was a family disagreement, taking a discussion, negotiation and
you said that to brear A Lee. Did you said
it to him yet? I will? I will.
Speaker 3 (13:26):
That's it is Two Pros and a Cup of Joe

Speaker 1 (15:09):
Jordan made a lot of can sing manx Brady.
Speaker 5 (15:17):
He's got such a good voice.
Speaker 4 (15:19):
He does. I'm trying to.
Speaker 5 (15:22):
Looks like he keeps going right there.
Speaker 4 (15:25):
He's from New Zealand.
Speaker 5 (15:26):
Right, yeah, I think so.
Speaker 4 (15:28):
Yeah.
Speaker 5 (15:29):
God he's got a good voice.
Speaker 4 (15:32):
Man, uh a Q, look at you. What are you
doing now, LeVar? Just put me up on game about
something the NFL. Yeah, something in camps. It's like a
thing in camp.
Speaker 5 (15:46):
Yeah, it's real. It's like it's like.
Speaker 1 (15:51):
It's like being Everyone can relate to this. It's like
being in like first grade.
Speaker 5 (15:57):
Excuse me, LeVar. Can you come up to the front
of the classroom.
Speaker 4 (16:01):
Kick it up and it forces you to make bad decisions?
You make it?
Speaker 5 (16:07):
Can? I mean?
Speaker 1 (16:08):
I personally felt like training camp was it was actually
healthy for once a year to go through the discipline
if you could make it through, to go through the
discipline of that, because if you could make it through
that that.
Speaker 4 (16:23):
Well, see you you took the literal meaning of it.
See the the part you're at right now is why
it's it's it's a thing. It is because you don't
take that time and you don't, you don't wait and
you don't. It's just anything goes, anything goes, and anyone
can get it. Like them bullets start flying, anybody could
(16:45):
get hit.
Speaker 5 (16:46):
Yeah, okay, hold on, hold on, I don't know what
you're talking about.
Speaker 1 (16:50):
Back in the day though, it wasn't like you had
quite as much energy, Like it's not like today is
there's like what one a day can you be doing?
Speaker 5 (16:57):
Like the two a day? Want to do you have
two day two a day.
Speaker 4 (17:00):
I'm just telling you if you're in the middle of
two days old, I'm a little older. I'm a little
older than y'all, all right, and camp think of a jiggy.
The way I hit you with, especially the way I
learned it from the old heads that I learned it from,
is just just just know that if if out of
(17:23):
three hundred and sixty five days, there would be a
month that that you'd actually be considered, it'd be in
that that time. Outside of the outside of that month,
you'd never be considered. You never be chosen, it never
(17:44):
be your time. But within that month, c D is
a real thing.
Speaker 1 (17:49):
So basically, for people, it's like putting on bifocals. Yeah, brugs,
you take them off, You're like, I can't everything.
Speaker 4 (17:59):
It's the the beer beer goggle deal.
Speaker 3 (18:01):
It would be like for people listening, imagine you probably
wouldn't ever in a normal circumstance if anything else was open.
Get sushi, from seven to eleven. But then there's sometimes
where there's nothing else open and it's like, all right,
you take what you can get.
Speaker 4 (18:15):
You know, this is what we got that or a
piece of pizza that's been sitting in that little oven
thing on the counter for.
Speaker 1 (18:22):
Say, one of those raggedy as hot dogs that are
rotating there.
Speaker 5 (18:25):
Yeah, I say that.
Speaker 4 (18:28):
One person that you see walking around, you'd be like,
how did that happen? And that's there, you go, that's
c D camp. That camp. It kind of was, was
it not really? No, but it was the same type
of scenario. Definitely, the same type of scenario. Everybody's got
(18:49):
a CD is real man, it is? You know, tell
you offline man. By the way, we are brought to

Speaker 4 (19:14):
See. So, the big game in the NFL this weekend
is the Eagles in the forty nine ers. Why do
people not talk about John Taylor as much as they
talk about Jerry Rice? Like, I'll never understand why people
don't talk about John Taylor more. He's not. I don't
even think he's in the Hall of Fame? Is he?
I don't think so?
Speaker 5 (19:33):
Think so?
Speaker 4 (19:34):
Shouldn't he be a Hall of Famer?
Speaker 5 (19:37):
I don't know. I've never actually had anyone breath the question.
Speaker 4 (19:39):
But John Taylor was a stone call. If you don't
have John Taylor, you don't have Jerry Rice.
Speaker 5 (19:46):
But the wide receiver, yes, for Simon.
Speaker 4 (19:48):
Frank caught the Super Bowl winning touchdown again Cincy. If
you don't, if you don't have John Taylor.
Speaker 5 (19:54):
LeVar he caught for over one thousand yards twice.
Speaker 4 (19:58):
Yeah, but he was like the best like him. And
it's like you got Lynn Swan and John Stalworth, Like
it's like they talk about both of them pretty kind
of sort of pretty equally, but nobody ever talks about
John Taylor. But John Taylor was a dope as wide receiver.
Speaker 5 (20:20):
I don't.
Speaker 1 (20:21):
I mean, I would say I understand that the game
was probably a little different back then.
Speaker 5 (20:25):
But Lynce Swatt was also an All Pro.
Speaker 1 (20:27):
He was a multiple time Pro Bowl I mean John
Saylor was a couple of years, I guess, but.
Speaker 4 (20:30):
I thought he was a Pro Bowler, wasn't he? How
many times? I'm not, but.
Speaker 5 (20:35):
I think one was special teams.
Speaker 4 (20:38):
John Kayla was a beast man.
Speaker 5 (20:40):
And then when he made it in eighty eight, he
played in twelve.
Speaker 1 (20:44):
Games, started three and he only had three hund and
twenty five yards receiving.
Speaker 5 (20:49):
Man, that was the year that he led the league in.
Speaker 1 (20:51):
Put return yards and had two touchdowns. So that was
for special teams.
Speaker 4 (20:56):
He was a dope football player. Man. They were a
good team. I mean, why is Roger Craig is his
is his stats bad?
Speaker 5 (21:03):
Too? Now?
Speaker 4 (21:04):
Roger, My memory of Roger Craig is right up there too.
Well you brought up saying France, So I'm just thinking
about like nostalgic because it's popping up on the television
as well. Roger Craig is one of the dopest running
backs I've seen. There's more he was.
Speaker 5 (21:18):
He was an All Pro. He's Offensive Player of the Year.
Speaker 3 (21:20):
And more of a more of an argument for Roger
Craig to be a Hall of Famer than John Tams.
Speaker 4 (21:25):
How did Roger Craig not get into the Hall of Fame.
Speaker 6 (21:29):
Yeah, it's one.
Speaker 1 (21:29):
I mean, I'll be honest with you though, too, if
we're gonna do this game. I mean, I loved Eric Metcalfe, Webster, Eric, Eric.
Speaker 5 (21:38):
Like those are my guys. Like I thought this, I just.
Speaker 4 (21:41):
Brought up Eric metcalf He gave me one of the
dopest life lessons ever. We he came over my house.
First of all, I was so honored that he would
actually come hang out with me. And we used to
shoot pool at my crib and we'd be shooting. I'd
be like, yeah, I don't have a shot. I don't
have a good shot. I was like, I'm I'm gonna
do a leave so he don't have a shot. And
he'd always look at me and he had that little
(22:02):
smile he has, like like real cool og movements, and
he'd be like, la, there's always a shot. And I
ain't understand that that's not one bit because I could
clearly see that yet shot. But he's like, LA, there's
always a shot. And then he explained it to me.
He was like you got to understand. He was like
(22:25):
you got to stick, don't you. And I was like, yeah, e.
He was like, is it your shot? Yeah, He's like,
then you got a shot, baby, And I didn't. I
didn't catch on to it for a while, but he's right.
If you got a stick and it's your shot, you
got a shot.
Speaker 1 (22:43):
Greg Hey, I'll put it this way, man, if you're walking,
if you're not six feet under, you got a shot.
Speaker 4 (22:48):
You got a shot, You got it. You always got
a shot. Don't don't walk the point of what he
told me was don't walk into a scenario already having
told yourself you don't have a chance. I was like, man,
blew me blew me away. I was like, that's why
you the og, brouh, that's you the og. Like Eric
(23:09):
mcaffe was one of my favorite teammates to have. And
I was so young, and I grew up on him,
not almost like how you did, because I'm not from
Ohio and I was I'm a little older. But Eric
Metcalf was that player that everybody liked, Like, I want
to look like Eric metcalf when I run. I want
to wear my uniform like Eric mcaf even oh Man bro.
(23:32):
He was the original before Dion twenty one. That was cool, Bruh.
Eric Metcalf was. He was a smooth dude, broh smooth.
And the way he wore he rocked his UNI and
the way he ran it all fit together. Man, it
looked like, you know, he looked like easy. And what's
crazy is he still looks the same to day. He
(23:53):
has an age, not one bit. He looks exactly the same. Man.
So when you see the og move and it's like,
you know, even you know some guy, you'd be like, dang,
that's you.
Speaker 5 (24:03):
I feel like that's all guys who run track because
he was a track star.
Speaker 4 (24:06):
He was a track guy.
Speaker 1 (24:07):
Yeah, and that's why I like, man, I just need
to go out and start running the track. You never
see they never age.
Speaker 5 (24:13):
People run track. They always just they always.
Speaker 4 (24:15):
Look great like Willy Willy Gall. I'm just gonna say, yeah,
you like, he's like he's thirty five, bruh and can
still like run. He'd be running, he'd be running anyway.
Speaker 5 (24:26):
Uh.
Speaker 4 (24:27):
It is a big game. This is a big game
that you're talking about with San France. So go ahead,
you can, you can reset.
Speaker 1 (24:32):
Well.
Speaker 3 (24:32):
I was just saying, I mean, do you think that
Philly's got a shot because they are the underdog.
Speaker 5 (24:37):
I mean at home, Oh, they are.
Speaker 3 (24:39):
Yeah, so they're the underdog and listen, so wait, why
is San Francisco favorite? I mean, I'm trying to figure
that out myself, and Kyle Shanahan's trying to figure that out,
and he was trying to understand why exactly.
Speaker 4 (24:51):
The line was at where it was at.
Speaker 3 (24:53):
So yesterday when Kyle Shanahan was talking with the media
about the forty nine ers being fai where the exchange
went a little something like this, I believe.
Speaker 6 (25:03):
All that you guys are the favorites going in this game.
Speaker 4 (25:06):
If they're the home team, they've lost one game, but
you're the favorites.
Speaker 6 (25:10):
Yeah, I mean, it doesn't make a lot of sense
to me, But I don't really know how that stuff works,
so I don't really know why it is random.
Speaker 4 (25:18):
I mean, he has no clue, no clue, has no
understanding as to how the gamble is.
Speaker 5 (25:22):
Young, Young Kyle Shanahan, do you think.
Speaker 3 (25:28):
Just looking at this game, I can see why the
Niners are favored because Philly and the record is what
the record is, and full credit there, they do seem
like they're not the same team they were a year ago,
Like one of those though, I know, and that's the thing,
like all these close games, they somehow continue to make
(25:49):
one or two more plays than somebody else and.
Speaker 4 (25:51):
They win that game.
Speaker 3 (25:52):
But it's not like they're as impressive as they were
last year. So I got to understand why the Niners
are favored, and the Niners feel like they got a
ton to prove because they're pissed off about last year
and there's been a lot of conversation about if not
for injury, last year's game would have gone differently.
Speaker 5 (26:09):
Was he asked the question about the lower He kind
of brought it up like that.
Speaker 4 (26:12):
He was asked about it, you knowing them being favored
when Philly hasn't lost that game at home, and just
what their record is, what their record is, it's pretty disrespectful,
for real, for real, it's pretty disrespectful to make them
the favorite. Philly's playing good football right now. I know
the Niners are playing really well, but I think that's
(26:34):
pretty disrespectful right now because I think Philly is the
best team in the National Football League, not just in
the NFC. I think they're the best team. I think
the Niners are going to win that game, and it
would not surprise me if they won that game. I
think it's going to be a great game just because
of the bad blood as you mentioned in terms of
them thinking that if they didn't have or if they
would have had their quarterback, it would have been a
different game. But keep in mind, like we talked about
(26:56):
back then, when the game did take place, they didn't
come in the game without their quarterbacks. Their quarterbacks got
knocked the f out, man, Like, do you realize you're
talking trash about not having your starting quarterback. They didn't
knock out one, they knocked out two. Then Purdy have
(27:19):
to go back in because they didn't have any more
quarterbacks left to put in the game. Like you can't
talk ass about what you would have done and how
you would have did it if you would have had
if they knocked you around so much, where the injuries
were a part of the game not coming into the game.
That's the thing about these two teams. These are both
(27:39):
bully mentality teams, which that's what I love about this game.
But they have talent, so you're going to be able
to see talent along with just straight up bullies. But
the question now becomes who's the bigger bully. And that's
why I think this is an intriguing game. But right
now I'm in Philly. I'm in Philly with who's the
biggest bully? Like, right now, you got the most physical,
(28:03):
dopest center in the game. So it's first and nine
all the time. He's distracted though, No he's not. He's
doing Christmas album. He's not distracting Prime in his bi
Let me tell you something that that man, them them
cat's got a fire under in their belly, especially him.
He had to watch his baby brother, his little brother,
go ahead and get that ring right in front of him.
(28:24):
Like brother, he's trying to get that ring one more
time before he gets up out of there. I'm taking
san fran and I'll take it. That's a bad that's
a bad move on your part.
Speaker 3 (28:32):
And that could be one of my Knox locks this weekends. Okay,
I mean, well, there, y'all go. So he's proving my
point were trying to say.
Speaker 4 (28:41):
He just proved that point, y'all.
Speaker 3 (28:43):
That doesn't elicit confidence in the Niners following that pick.
Speaker 4 (28:47):
No, I don't have confidence in you and your pick.
So it just made me solidified what I'm thinking about
Philly winning this game. That's right, I ain't nobody got no.
Speaker 5 (28:59):
Time for that.
Speaker 9 (29:02):
Was that?
Speaker 6 (29:03):
My gosh, it's a fun that was actually from in
Living Color? Come on, Jonas you proclaimed to be an
in Living Color fan, I don't remember that one, you know,
because you don't know it like I know it. Oh wow, jeez,
I see it's a.
Speaker 5 (29:15):
Far just like they were barbecuing, ain't no, guy, I
got no time for that.
Speaker 4 (29:20):
By the way, what's your favorite Living Color skit? There's
a few. Help me to clown. It comes to mind
super quick. Yeah, Fire Marshall, Bills, Fire marsh men on film.
Speaker 5 (29:32):
It is hilarious.
Speaker 4 (29:32):
It's just too many. There's too many hat it that's horrible,
horribly funny. Could they get away with that skit today?
Absolutely not. Those tiny little hats that were on the
side of the they would be canceled before they even
finished the skit.
Speaker 6 (29:47):
They were also Men on Sports they did, and Men
on Sports one too, did they really?
Speaker 4 (29:51):
Yeah?
Speaker 3 (29:52):
Look, I think it's funnier in Saturday Night Live. Oh
come on, they were both really good at the time.
Speaker 4 (29:57):
I mean, think about all of the stars that like
came from in Living Color. Yeah, Jamie Foxx, Tommy, Jimmy Davidson,
David Allen, Terry, David Allen Greer, Jennifer Lopez was a
Jennifer Lopez was a flag girl, the Wayans, of course,
all the Wayans brothers. So I mean there's a lot
of stars that came from Lister after Yeah, there's a
(30:22):
couple of young ladies. To excuse me not remembering your names,
but they did some pretty big movies as well after
that show. But anyway, I think that this is a
Philly game. This is a Philly game.
Speaker 5 (30:35):
We get rid of that.
Speaker 4 (30:36):
I mean, I didn't go there, and that was Jonas.
Speaker 5 (30:38):
What do you mean.
Speaker 4 (30:39):
I just came back and brought us back, say played
the drive. I brought us back. All right, I'm going
with Philly. Oh.
Speaker 3 (30:50):

Speaker 9 (32:40):
Tiger Woods returns for the hero World Challenge in the Bahamas.
Speaker 4 (32:45):
Sorry, another hero World Challenge in the Bahamas. That's right,
but Jay Tour? Are there adult film stars and fall?
Speaker 5 (32:58):
Damn?
Speaker 3 (33:01):
By the way, was it up? Wasn't this the tournament
that used to be in Lake Sherwood. It was at
Lake Sherwood for years, wasn't.
Speaker 5 (33:10):
It Lake Sherwood?
Speaker 4 (33:12):
Yeah?
Speaker 1 (33:12):
Yeah, I don't believe it's called Lake Sherwood.
Speaker 5 (33:17):
Is it?
Speaker 3 (33:18):
Yeah, Lake Sherwood, Yeah, but it's Lake Sherwood.
Speaker 4 (33:22):
That's the community.
Speaker 5 (33:24):
Oh got you? That wasn't actually the course though, right.
Speaker 4 (33:27):
I don't know. I never golfed there. Sherwood Country Club
they ditched for the Bahamas. I don't blame them.
Speaker 5 (33:37):
I've played that course though. Actually it's pretty dope.
Speaker 4 (33:40):
There's some ridiculous one, the one in the Bahamas or
the one in Sherwood.
Speaker 5 (33:45):
That's a beautiful course. Didn't you blow? Stoops stoops stoops?
Hustled Reggie and I that's it was Reggie's course.
Speaker 1 (33:53):
I don't know if you're still remember they're not stoops
hustled us all man Bermuda.
Speaker 4 (33:58):
There's a course in bird that is. If you've never
gone to the air Q, you should look that one up.
It's like a top golf joint.
Speaker 1 (34:05):
And for sure, I'll be honest with you, I've never
gone because I always thought that Trigle thing was there's
always a chance that showed.
Speaker 4 (34:11):
Us to Bermuda. Try and you just don't need to
be on a boat like it's like, it's like a
big myth. It's a myth. I thought it was like
a plane thing too. That gets smalled though. Yeah it was,
but it was like a scramble area. But it's it's
kind of a myth, but you should check it out.
Telling they got pink sand there too, and it's like
baby powder and it's literally pink. But the golf there
(34:37):
is really good. But I'm in on the Bahamas, you know,
I'll drive the golf carts even though they walk in
those events.
Speaker 9 (34:45):
Guys, this was on a few days ago. I didn't
have a chance to get to it. It was National Happy
Hour Day. We have our holiday party tonight.
Speaker 4 (34:52):
Before happy hour.
Speaker 5 (34:53):
We know you're in.
Speaker 9 (34:54):
Well that's my question, is I am a happy hour guy?
Do you guys get to the point where you just
don't even think about it.
Speaker 4 (35:00):
I'm in a happy hours look at I'm not in
with rush hour before the happy hour. So y'all probably
won't see me at the holiday party, but I might
do happy hour today just because of the happy hour
party for our holidays. I just remember working.
Speaker 3 (35:16):
At TGI Fridays and see people were really hung up on.
Speaker 4 (35:24):
Before seven. Oh yeah, because this beer is a dollar more,
order like one or two extra beers before that joint
goes out. Yeah, dude, if you're going out, and the
appetizers too, Now you can get some hell of fat appetizer.
The food deals. The food deals are the better deal.
Speaker 3 (35:38):
The drink is like a dollar off maybe, but the
food deal you get like half off.
Speaker 4 (35:42):
It's a little bit more. It's a little bit more
significant than a dollar. It's like five for some drinks,
like it's like four or five dollars. I'll take that.
Speaker 5 (35:53):
I took it fantasybody.
Speaker 1 (35:54):
Last night, the waitress at dinner with the family made
me aware it was happy hour because I was like
ash we get a bottle, get a glass.
Speaker 5 (36:02):
She's like, well, actually it's half off glasses, not bottles.
Speaker 1 (36:05):
So if you get a glass off the glass, a
little bang, more bang for your bucks, all right, son
us up man.
Speaker 4 (36:11):
I like, nothing beats a good bar menu. It's one page.
Speaker 3 (36:16):
It's usually like a smaller than an actual menu in size.
Speaker 4 (36:20):
And yeah, make sure you know it's not the real menu.
Yeah you know, here's the menu you can use right now.
Speaker 5 (36:26):
Lee.
Speaker 4 (36:26):
What's your happy hour order of choice?
Speaker 3 (36:28):
If you had to do a perfect happy hour for
you drink and food?
Speaker 4 (36:33):
Well, Taco Tuesdays is five dollars. Margarita's five dollars. Shots
with whether it's patrona, it's a win and talk. How
much is a margarita when it's not on discount? Honestly,
like fifteen to twenty dollars if it works eighteen like
the regular happy hour.
Speaker 9 (36:49):
That's not the Taco Tuesday it's to nine, but normally
it's probably like twelve fifteen bucks.
Speaker 5 (36:54):
Hey, you know whose birthday is today? Bo Jackson? Oh no,
that's one. Isn't a Russell Wilson's Uh?
Speaker 4 (37:01):
I did see his?
Speaker 5 (37:02):
I think it was me?
Speaker 4 (37:03):
Then yesterday? I know he's yesterday bo Jackson bow knows
is he the greatest athlete at all time?
Speaker 5 (37:11):
It was yesterday, right, it is de Yeah, Dion's pretty good.
Speaker 4 (37:14):
Bo Jackson was under Jackson. I mean Bo Jackson was
those two breaking bats on his leg.
Speaker 5 (37:21):
Well, you said Jim Brown as well.
Speaker 4 (37:22):
Jim Brown is a good one. Herschel Walker Yeah, I
mean he made it to the Olympics.
Speaker 6 (37:26):
Yeah, he's one of as well.
Speaker 4 (37:27):
I mean, aren't there any other like, you know, shades
in that.
Speaker 5 (37:34):
I'm out. I'm out.
