six o'clock right here on Fox Sports Radio. Obviously, the
(01:03):
playing tournament is underway in the NBA. We had a
couple of games last night. We talked about, uh, the
Timberwolves celebration. Also Glue Girl. For those of you that
are wondering what that is. It's not a superhero. Some
woman was upset, had an animal rights cause she wanted
to point out, and decided to glue herself to the
floor in Minnesota. Um so, so there's that. How do
(01:24):
you think she snuck the number? I don't even answer that.
I just don't have to sneak glue in. You don't
know what do you mean with some glue? Brother, don't
think you could get a glue stick. By the way,
have you seen the security at some of these venues?
What's that supposed to mean. I'm just saying there's not
a lot of security. Yeah, a glue stick, rubber cement.
(01:48):
They could be like, well, doesn't look like a weapon.
Go ahead, And so what what would you do? Like
would she put it in her sock? Like I feel
like they pat you purse, it goes through the purse.
If they have some woman at glue in her purse,
you don't think that can put it right back? Oh
you have glue? Put it right back in your purse.
They're not gonna take that, ma'am. You have clue. We
(02:10):
do not allow glue in the arena. Maybe now moving forward,
I mean I feel like that, ma'am. What are your
intentions with this glue? Yeah? Some people go and have
a few drinks. Some people sniff glue the entire game.
I didn't know that was on the menu in Minnesota,
but apparently I was wrong. All right, so fine, maybe
she got a glue stick from from the menu there
with it was a side dish on on the Juicy Lucy.
(02:32):
You think that they stop people from bringing glue at
at the Crypto dot Com arena that's so close to
proximity of Santaita where the glue factory. Basically is, do
you really think they're gonna stop them from there? Okay?
Now do you think because that because that took place
in Minnesota that now Clipper fans are gonna be like,
all right, you think you can bring glue in, We'll
just go scoop something off off the track to Sanninita
(02:54):
and then bring it back into Crypto dot Com slash
Stable Center arena. Is that what you're accusing Clipper fans.
Don't we know she? I don't know. I mean I
I don't know any I don't have any information on
the woman. I do give her credit for using glue
to try and draw attention to um two chickens being murdered. UM.
I would feel like maybe there was a better approach
(03:15):
she could take, like why don't you tear a chicken
tender in half? Or why don't you, you know, like
spray perfume on it and say it's a real thing too.
Why would you use glue to attach yourself to the floor,
or why not do what the Bills fans do and
get get a chicken feather covered? Um Bills fan what
(03:35):
they do? Yeah, and throw it onto the court. That's
a good point, man, I didn't think. I mean, that
is the way you bring attention to what was happening
to the birds chickens. Why is one of those not
been thrown on the court, by the way, I know
it's called a bill though, but why why has one
not been thrown on the court in the basketball? Why
(03:55):
is why is football the only sport where you can
have a buildo throw in the field? I mean maybe
they sat down on their seat too hard. And uh,
you know, it's uh tough to pull that off, you know.
And I would assume, I don't know, I would assume
that basketball fans are much more civilized in regards to
things like they spit on Trey Young and a Knicks
(04:18):
game last year. What do you mean? Yeah, I mean
there was the brawl at the Palace was a malice
of the toe. I just don't think that. I just
don't think that that would happen in football. Um well,
I don't know how many fans when they actually see
football players in person, like down like face to face
(04:40):
or like, oh yeah, I could talk trash and and
this guy's not gonna do anything about it, you know.
By the way, I like, how does this woman think
because she used, you know, some elmer's to make a
statement during a basketball game that all of a sudden,
nobody left the arena and ordered wings at a late
night stop, Like, come on, man, at a late night stop,
it was getting wings. And there do you think anybody
(05:05):
anybody was rubbing in her face, like gargling a chicken
nugget while they were rubbing her while she was being
escorted out of the arena, you know, just kind of
I'm just asking listen that there's a lot of this
story that that's very strange. But you know, if you're
a Clipper fan, you know, and you've just woken up
hearing this report on the blowtorch and five seventy l
A Sports, don't worry. You're gonna have another crack at
this thing. The Clippers are not out of the playoffs.
(05:27):
Now we get to see who gets to face the
Phoenix Suns. But we do have a good matchup based
on what happened last night. Brady, Uh, Sorry, your Cleveland
Cavaliers fell to the Brooklyn Nets, But you gotta feel
good about the Calves, all right, No, Lebron at least
they're they're competing and they too have an opportunity to
still get into the postseason. But they fall to the
Nets last night, which sets up a TOW seven matchup
(05:50):
in the Eastern Conference, Kyrie Irving versus former team, the
Boston Celtic. And uh, and you've got the Nets, who
are the seven seed in this matchup, and they are
the favorite to win in a to seven matchups. So
not an ideal spot for the Boston Celtics. What disrespect?
What disres respected? Your Boston Celtics. They're not my Boston Celtics. Well,
(06:13):
for people who don't know this, Um, Jonas grew up
rooting for a variety of teams across the United States. Football,
it's the Chicago Bears, I get around, uh in. In hockey,
it's the Pittsburgh Penguins. And when it comes to NBA basketball,
it is the Boston Celtics. So that those are Jonas teams. Um.
Some would say he's a bandwagon fan for that. And
(06:35):
these are all reckless allegations by Brady Quinn. I can't
confirm nor deny any of it, and I just think
it's out. It's out of line that you would even
approach me like that. Well, you were so hot about
this topic because it's like your Boston Celtics, the return
of Kyrie Irving, who may or may not stop on
a logo here and there. I mean, I just you know,
I do listen. I'm just happy because we've got some storylines,
(06:57):
all right, We've got some storylines in the NBA, and
I think that's gonna be a lot of fun to
watch that play out. Because Celtic fans are still bitter
about Kyrie Irving leaving he's he's pointed out that you know,
they're kind of like bitter x is. You know, it's like,
you know, we had our chance, it didn't work out. Um,
so this is you know, this is something to where
it feels like the Celtics feel a little bit more
(07:18):
confident than they did last year and they look at
this and go, we're a two seed. We've got an
opportunity here. But if you if you draw Kyrie Irving
and Kevin Durant in the first round of the playoffs,
that's just not a good spot to be in. And
now that Kyrie can actually play, because you know, the
whole COVID stuff has been lifted everywhere except for in
(07:39):
Toronto because apparently if you're not vaccinating you can't play
in Toronto. That that whole thing is still going on.
It just feels like if you're the NBA and you
want some storylines, and you know Lebron isn't a part
of all this, and he's been the guy that's been
carrying the storylines for this league even when the team
is bad, that this is a good spot. If you're
the NBA, you look at this and go, all right,
at least we're gonna have some conversation here. I want
(07:59):
to come Sta Kyrie have been taken on this former
team and Celtics fans being bitter. It is kind of
a valid question, you know, like what is what's the
postseason gonna look like without Lebron? I mean, I can't
imagine ratings, which for the NBA, they've they've had a
hard time in recent years anyway, but I would imagine
that they're gonna struggle when you don't have a big
brand like the l A Lakers Lebron James as a
(08:20):
part of it. And granted, you know they didn't really
last year besides the playing game, but um, I don't
fact um, but that guy that kind of contributes to it, right, Um,
when you don't have this the sort of star power,
And I thought Lavarre said it most appropriately yesterday, gotta
gotta put you know, butts and seats and if if
(08:42):
you know, you were proposing trading um Lebron James Jonas.
So that was a little get up out of there.
That's as hot taky as he gets on this show. Yeah,
is that a good thing? By the way, like you
keep like wanting to flex about your hot takes. I
don't think hot takes are good things. I just want
to show that I'm a multifacinated sports stock radio home
to you. I mean, you look at me as an
ex As and those guy and here I am, you know,
(09:05):
firing off hot takes. That's right, Yeah, like firing him off.
All Brady tells me is aiming at everybody. What do
you get that? Bang bang? All Brady accuses me of.
All he accuses me of is you know, having a
(09:25):
you know, a Saturday show here on Fox Sports Radio,
which by the way, is to lead into up on
Games starring LaVar Arrington every Saturday here on it, and
you know, and he likes to talk about how great
am at teasing guest appearances on that show, And I
just feel like there's more to me than that, you know.
I just want to point that out there. Yeah, thank
you very good. Your teasers are stellar. Yeah, you should
(09:46):
have heard Saturday's should have heard it was under the
impression somebody was making an appearance and uh, you know,
of a sudden something happened, So I didn't didn't work
out that way so far. Are you aware of Jonas
up for fitic ability to uh there that we gotta
wait at least a couple of months on that story.
(10:07):
I gotta let it. Uh, but it's wait until the
details come out and then we can have that conversation.
I feel like it's a safer place. But here we are.
So the NBA has got some storylines, at least in
the opening round when it comes to uh two Celtics
and the Nets. Um, but uh, you know, then they
roll out what we're gonna get later on tonight, and
I know that this is still the playoffs, but I
(10:28):
feel like Hornets, Hawks, Spurs, Pelicans not exactly going to
be a ratings bananza for ESPN later tonight. Just saying
nine ten matchups in the East and the West feels like,
you know, not an ideal spot for the NBA. Maybe
you could have, you know, split up these games seven eight,
but you know, kind of made that happen. But it
feels like t n T got the good games last
night and ESPN's got you know, got some leftovers here,
(10:52):
some scraps. So but again, you guys call this the playoffs.
I still think it's a play and you gotta prove
it to me if you want to be considered a
postseason Uh, it's h hold on, hold on, are the
games being played after the regular season? I mean it
depends on who you ask. Are the games being played
after the regular season? That's the report. I mean, wouldn't that,
(11:13):
by definition be the post season? Okay? Is the is
the you? Okay? You think if you get to a
play game that's considered the n c A tournament, Yes,
I don't know. Okay, what else would you call it?
I would call it if it is the purgatory. I mean,
it's like listen, I would call it the bridge to
(11:33):
the postseason. But until you cross that bridge, you're not
officially there. But you have to quality. You have to
be selected to be a part of that, just like
every other team that's selected be a part of March Madness.
You have to be selected by that committee. There's a
big difference between being engaged and married. I believe that
these teams are engaged to the playoffs, but they're not
yet married. The Nets are and the Timberwolves are. But
(11:55):
because first off, that's that's completely flimsy, all right, within
your argument, because there's nothing other than the monetary, you know, aunt,
nothing's official about it, and we just revisit the word though.
I mean debate. It's such a cool word, though, isn't it.
Like it's just really one of those words that it
(12:17):
just really drives home what you're feeling. It's demeaning, it's
it's so good like you with somebody with it's flimsy,
like you're so weak. Like that's almost like a verbal slap,
you know. Go ahead. I like the word. I'm going
to use it often today, Like when I go get
(12:38):
my ticket to get onto the plane, if they don't
say something nice to me, I'm going to be like,
your effort was flimsy at the wrong way. If t
s a comes at me the wrong way, I want
to be like, you know what, your approach is flimsy.
That is a good That is a good word, because
I'm using flimsy all day to to you know what. Yeah, good,
good joblimsy. Yeah, I have about that that vernacular yours
(13:02):
just word is he definitely is wonderful. Yeah, well no,
you're good at it, just just saying you're a great guy.
Great through where's the sarcasm the sarcasm finish it off? Yeah,
and there's there's no starry. I mean it's it was
(13:22):
a little dusty in here. How its slappy. Sorry, it's
a slappy. It's a little uh, just a little some
pollen in the air here. Sorry about that that made
you say slappy? Yeah, that's Listen. When I sneeze, I
don't know what comes out, all right? Why do people
make the same noise as when they sneeze? Where you
(13:44):
come from? By the way, like, well, all I know
is no one ever says God blessed you, because they're like,
was that a cough? I'm like, no, it was a sneeze,
but it sounds like one. I get it. By the way, Literally,
no one ever says gozoom tight or God blessed whatever
says that. They just there's like have you have you
heard LaVar going to a sneeze fit. It is one
(14:06):
of the most impressive things I've ever seen in my life.
He'll rattle off twelve in a row like it's nothing,
Like it's nothing. How can you do that? I don't know,
machine and it sounds like a machine gun. I can
do two in a row. I it's very rare that
(14:27):
I can knock off three in a row. LaVar's just
bang bang bang bang bang bang, like everything all right
over there? Oh yes, normal, just it's impressive, but again,
who cares? All right? Two Pros and a Cup of Joe.

Always a Good Time where Brady tries to get us
all fired here before the show goes off the air.
So that's gonna be a fun conversation. Stick around for
(15:30):
that again twenty minutes from now on. FS are right
now that we turn it over to Albert Brier, senior
NFL reporter for the mm QB. You can get him
on Twitter at Albert Brier. Albert, how's everything. How's your Wednesday? Good? Good?
How you guys doing? We're good? Um? How is this
gonna be? Uh? Are we pretty much wrapping up the
Dan Snyder air in Washington? How's this going to play out?
(15:53):
With the latest results that came out from the House
Oversight Committee UM in their report to the Federal Trade COMMISSI.
And yeah, it's not good. I mean obviously there's you know,
specifics in there that we lacked before. And um, you
know the fact that he was positioning ticket revenue for
those who haven't heard it, UM, positioning ticket revenue that
would normally be shared among the thirty two teams UM
(16:16):
as having come from a Notre Dame Navy game and
a Kenny Chesney concert. So now there's something concrete there, um,
you know, And I think, you know, like it's gonna
be interesting to see that the way the next few
months play out, because I don't think the owners want
to be put in a position where they have to
vote someone out, because I don't think they want that
(16:36):
precedent set quite frankly, like I don't want I don't
think they want to have like a protocol there in
place where you know that the other thirty one teams
are taking one owner's team away. Um. I think what
they would prefer to do is that Daniel Snyder's somehow
step aside and sell the team the way that Jerry
Richardson did. UM. I think what we've learned over the
(16:57):
last two years is that's gonna take a lot to
get to the point where Snyder is gonna be forced
to do that. And so what I think you're going
to see over the next few months, there's a lot
of pressure put on Snyder, um, whether it's subtle or otherwise,
by the other teams and by the league office to
try to force him to sell. UM. Again, I don't
think that they wanna, you know, be in a position
where they have to vote him out, um because you know, again,
(17:20):
like I don't think that other owners want to have
anybody digging through their trash or finding stuff on them
where they might be forced to sell their own teams. Um,
And you know, we'll see if that works. We'll see
if over the next few months Snyder comes to the
point where he feels compelled to sell the team. I
do think that we're gonna hear more and more over
(17:41):
the next couple of months though, that it's gonna put
Snyder in a position where he might be forced to
sell the team. And I don't think that that's going
to be an unintentional thing. Albert, what does he have
on Roger Goodell or other owners? Like, how does he
still have this team? I'm serious, Like, there's no way
this guy should still will be owning a team, given
(18:01):
not even just this, but even the past stuff that's
come out. How is this possible? But I'm telling you
that's it, Brady, Like they don't want to they don't
want to be like, they do not want to create
a precedent for taking each other's teams away. Um And again,
like I think, you know, like when you know you're
looking at guys of that sort of wealth, a lot
(18:23):
of people have dirt under their fingernails, you know, and
and and a lot of people I think, you know,
could be put in this sort of position. And so
like I I think they would rather him again do
what Jerry Richardson did where you know, Jerry Richardson a
lot of people think he was forced to sell the team.
Like in that situation, it was more like like okay,
(18:44):
like like I've like brought brought a lot of a
lot of negative light onto the league, and I'm going
to step aside because that's what's best for everybody. Dan
Snyder was never gonna do that, you know, Like when
Dan Snyder I went through the name changed situation, obviously
everything with the workplace environment, um, you know. I think
that there were a lot of people who felt like
(19:06):
eventually it's gonna get to the point where it's gonna
be untenable for Dan Snyder. And we've seen that he's
got a lot of tolerance for um shame brought on done,
you know, and so like I I think part of
it is, you know, part of it here is certainly
that um, you know, the other owners do not want
to vote one of their own out um, and they want,
(19:28):
you know, to they want Sider to do this on
his own, um, you know. And I think part of
it too, you know, like you said, Brady, is that
he probably he probably does have stuff on the other guys,
you know, and then and I'm sure that like there
is some level of fear that if they kick him
out of the club, then all of a sudden, you know,
a lot of dirty laundry is gonna be air. Can
(19:50):
I ask us a stupid question and anybody can chime
in on it's not just you, h But no such
thing as a stupid question, LaVar. This one might be.
I don't know, but if all, like, let's just say,
for the sake of saying, the vast majority of the
owners have something on them that if you dug for it,
(20:13):
it would be an offense that would require selling the team.
If all of these teams were sold, I mean, how
does that work? When when I mean, they created, these families,
created the NFL, So how would that? How would that?
How does that work? At some point? Is it, I mean,
(20:36):
let's just say, for the sake of discussion that all
these teams had to sell their teams. I mean, is
it just business as usual? Or I mean is that
considered like a hostile tech takeover? Or I'm trying to
understand if if Pandora's box opens, Dan has to sell
Boom the dominoes start following where other people got to
(20:57):
sell their teams based off of thing. Is it just
now the franchises stand alone, they're not connected to the
families that created the league that is now what it
is today. I don't think we're ever going to get
to the point where there's gonna be this enormous domino
effect and you're gonna have twenty teams for sale. Um,
you know, but I think you know what we're seeing now,
(21:19):
and you know it's not just with Washington, you know,
we're you know, I think in Miami, like it's worth
you know, at least keeping an eye on what's happening
with Steven Ross there in the Flores case, and um,
you know, the potential, the potential out there that like
that that they may have been you know, inducing the
you know, the the like that the owner may have
been inducing the coach and the general manager, the tank.
(21:42):
You know, we've seen some of that stuff with the
Browns and Hugh Jackson too. Um. You know, like, I
don't think we're ever going to get to a point
where they're gonna be fifteen or twenty teams on the
market at once. But you know, I think what you're
seeing here is you know, certainly, I think that there's
more transparency I think desired from the public on the
way these guys operate, and the NFL has becomes so
(22:04):
big now that it is of interest to people in
the public how these workplaces operate, how these guys came
into their wealth, Um, you know. And I think in
a lot of cases, you know, we're when you when
you when you when you when you look inside and
you're starting to look at how the sausage is made,
maybe you don't like what you're looking at as much,
you know, and so um, you know, I think that's
(22:26):
sort of where we are. And that's you know, like
again like it's just you know, it's the way these
things come to light. You know. It happens in different ways,
you know, but over the last couple of years, I
do think that you know, we because you know, the
public desires that transparency into the way these teams are
run and the way that these workplaces operate and the
(22:47):
way these guys came into their wealth. We're learning more
about it, and that's what's putting these guys in this position. Um.
But I think there'll always be I think there will
always be buyers for the team, and I don't know
that it's gonna necessarily affect the overall health of the league. Um,
you know, so I see it at least, um, you know,
(23:07):
it's it's there are very few businesses that you can
buy into where you're guaranteed profit, and buying an NFL
team is one of those things where at a baseline,
you're the very least gonna make money, and you could
wind up making a ton of money. And so I
think for that reason, the league sort of insulated from,
you know, a situation where if five or six teams
(23:30):
were to go for sale at once, it would really
rock the overall stability of the of the NFL. Albert
Brier joining us here on Fox Sports Radio, senior NFL
reporter at the MMQB. Get him on Twitter at Albert Brier. Albert,
is there any draft storyline that is most interesting to
you as we approach the draft in a couple of weeks.
We've seen obviously trades that have happened, things like that,
(23:53):
But what is one to watch for you that you're
curious about. I mean, I think the first things are quarterbacks,
you know, and I just think it's it's what's interesting
to me about this is we have so many examples
in the past of um, you know, quarterback drafts that
weren't great, where you had teams reaching right like I
think the eleven class pass Cam Newton after Cam Newton
was an example of that, in teams reaching for Jake
(24:15):
Locker and Blayne Gabbert and Christian Ponder in two thousand
and thirteen the bills reaching for EJ. Manuel Um. You know,
I think history has told us that if you if
you look at the history of it like that, if
there's not a quarterback there that's worth going in the
first round, then teams are going to manufacture one. And
(24:38):
this seems to be one of those years. The difference
this year is that we I think, like teams looking
up at the mountain, it's a little bit more difficult now,
Like so you look up and at the next over
the next ten years, if you're in the a f C,
like what your competing is Joe Burrow, Chustin Herbert, Josh Allen,
Patrick Mahomes, Lamar Jackson, And I think for that reason,
(25:01):
we've seen some teams acknowledge just being good at the
position is not good enough, and so That's why, like
the Niners move off of Garoppolo to get to Trey Lance,
That's why the Rams move off with Jared Goff to
get to Matthew Stafford. And like, that's why I think
this is gonna be such an interesting exercise in what
we saw in the E J. Manual year and then
(25:21):
the Christian ponder blame Gabber Jake Locker year, is you know,
our team is gonna look at Kenny Pickett and Malik
Willis and Matt Corrall and Desmond Ritter and Sam Howe
and say to themselves, if I draft this guy in
three or four years, am I just gonna be looking
at it and saying, I gotta I gotta flip this
guy out again, Like he might be okay, but he's
(25:43):
not good enough to compete with those other guys. So
I think that's the most interesting storyline. Is is this
the year that finally breaks that whole thing where if
there's not a quarterback that's worthy of a first round pick,
the league's gonna manufacture one and teams are gonna reach
for one. Albert It just it makes me wonder, though,
I Mean, at some point, there's so many, so there's
(26:05):
only so many Tom Brady's, Aaron Rodgers, Patrick Mahomes, Josh Allen's.
It's not like you're getting that every single year or
even you know, once every five years. So I just
I'm not sure what the strategy is then. I mean, well,
team still wins no matter what we want to say.
As good as Patrick Mahomes is, it didn't win him
Super Bowl. They couldn't beat Cincinnati last year. Like they
(26:27):
still need something around him. I'll give you something. I'll
give you a good example, though, Brady, Like, look at
how the Chiefs got to Patrick Mahomes. Okay, Like Andy
Reid got there in two thousand and thirteen, and they
had the first overall pick and they drafted a left tackle,
Eric Fisher. They didn't draft a they didn't they didn't
they didn't reach for that was EJ. Manuel Year, Right,
(26:49):
what do they do? They went and got Alex Smith
and they went't got Alex Smith. And what did Alex
Smith do from Alex Smith? Bought them time? Like they
could build the team up right, they could beat impetitive,
they could make the playoffs, and they and allowed them
to be patient, to wait for the right opportunity and
then eventually they found a guy they absolutely fell in
love with and Patrick Mahomes, and they went and got
(27:11):
him right. And I actually think there are a couple
of teams that are employing that strategy right now with
new head coaches. I think that's what the Raiders are
doing with Josh McDaniels and Derek Carr. I think that's
what the Vikings are doing with Kevin O'Connell and Kirk Cousins.
Where I think, like like Kevin in Minnesota and Josh
and in Vegas are looking at these guys and saying,
(27:33):
I can compete with this guy, and this guy is
gonna give me the leeway to wait until there is
a great young player that I am in love with
and I can go get him. And in the meantime,
all these draft picks I have, I can use them
to build the team up. So whenever I bring a
young quarterback in here, I'm gonna have an ideal situation
(27:54):
for him, the same way Kansas City had an ideal
situation for Patrick Mahomes to walk into. And so I
actually think that that, to me, is a pretty smart
strategy where you're looking at it and you're saying a
Kirk Cousins and Derek Carr can at least make us
competitive right now and give us a chance to establish
something right now, and we can spend our draft picks
(28:15):
elsewhere and we can be competitive now, and we will
worry about the young quarterback equation when a great one,
when one that we absolutely love comes along, rather than
going all in on a kid that maybe we aren't
in love with. Right And that's great in theory, but
let's be real. They love Patrick Mahomes. Nine of the
teams passed on them. I mean, like, like, what you're
(28:37):
portraying at the well, yeah, but what you're portraying out
hold on Albert, Albert, what you're portraying out there is like,
it's a no brainer right now. C J. Stroud, Bryce
Young and probably Tyler Van Dyke out of the University
of Miami, who's not well known but will be after
this year. Those will probably the first three quarterbacks taken
the next year's draft. And it's no surprise to anyone.
(28:58):
So if I'm like one of those teams you're talking about, Vegas, Minnesota,
You're not gonna be in a position to draft those
guys anywhere close. You have to give up everything to
get them. And even then those teams taking a quarterback
in the top five picks, they're they're not going to
give up that spot to give you that guy. So
here's here's my counter that the Chiefs didn't do it
in the second year. It was their fifth year, like
(29:21):
Andy Reid and John Dorsey like waited five years until
the right opportunity came along, you know. And I just
think like having a placeholder quarterback, which and that's not
in the front to car or cousins, but having a
placeholder where like, you know, you can be competitive with
the guy in the here and the now right Like,
(29:41):
I feel like that like at least gives you the
chance to look in like a four year or five
year window. I think the worst place you can be
in is like predetermining in a single draft that you're
gonna take a quarterback that year. I think that's the
worst position you can be in because that's where these
guys get manufactured. When you decide we're absolutely taking one
this year, no matter what. That's where mistakes get get
(30:04):
get get made. If you're able to kind of look
at it from like a three or four or five
year view and maybe you miss on it. Maybe you
maybe you don't get a guy that you really like,
but you're giving yourself that time, Like you're giving yourself
three or four or five years to find that guy, Well,
then you've got a better chance of getting him right.
And I think that's what the Chiefs did. They bought
themselves five years to find Patrick Mahomes, get him in
(30:28):
the system, developed them, and he started like for the
first time. And Andy Reid's sixth year in Kansas City. Like,
I think that's what Minnesota and Vegas have the opportunity
to do here, where like let's be competitive and let's
not overreach, and maybe the quarterbacks in three maybe we
get one of them, or maybe it's in but either way,
(30:49):
we're comfortable with what who we have right now and
eventually will find the right opportunity to get a young
quarterback that we really like. And you know what, Brady,
maybe that's not even in the draft. Maybe that's some
guy who's asking out of someplace three years from now.
You know what I mean. You just I just think
giving yourself giving yourself the sort of like runway to
(31:11):
find one, I think it's a huge thing. And again,
like I think the biggest mistake teams make is when
they go into a draft cycle predetermining we're taking a
quarterback this year, come hell or high water. Get him

you know, work this through. I mean listen here. Yeah,
(33:59):
I think it's gonna happen, but I'm here. All right.
How about this one. Let's start off with a bird
been hot. A bird poops on President Biden. The US
isn't dumps because of Vladimir Putin. That's right, during a
speech talking about inflation, because apparently it's all Putin's fault. Um,
(34:20):
a bird happens to poop on our President Biden, and
he doesn't realize that for quite some time. But he's
got some big old excrements sitting right there above his
lapel pen on his shoulder. I had to make sure
we acknowledge that. Only because it's good luck we get
pooped on, right, I see? See, I disagree because I
was craped on by a bird while I was waiting
(34:43):
to walk onto a cruise ship. Actually was on the
cruise ship and I got craped on by a bird.
And I told my girlfriend at the time, you said, oh,
that's a good luck, and I was like really, And
I had no idea that was a thing. So I
went in to go gamble and lost everything in like
the first hour. Let slot machines. And by the way,

about this A dolphin attacks a trainer in front of
a horrified crowd at a seaquarium show. Yeah, well, this
(35:29):
is what happened. They were they were doing a demonstration,
and the trainer and the dolphin actually collided accidentally, and
the dolphin was ticked off. This thing broke away from
the other pack of dolphins, sought out that trainer and
literally was pushing the trainer and flipped them out of
the pool. That's how upset this dolphin was. We had
(35:50):
the audio of it. I mean, you know, if you
really wanted right there, yeah, I mean, if you want
to avoid dolphins, just you know, try and schedule something
in January or February. It was really good. I mean,
(36:16):
that was really good. Right now, that was good. That
was good, by the way. Who sent the video of
the woman who was sitting on the deck and the
dolphin jumped up on her and just was having his way,
took advantage. Yeah, well, you know, dolphins do that for pleasure,
you know not. I think it's the only animal that does. Really. Yeah,
(36:36):
that's what they say. Yeah, those things know what they're doing. Hey,
get my schooling gear, you would. Alright, let's let's go
with one more. Here a viral video emergence of a
ambulance twin Donuts at a parking lot that's happened up
in Jacksonville, Florida. Uh that Jacksonville Fire and Rescue saying hey,
(36:59):
that's not one of ours. So no one's claiming it
at this point. But for a period of about forty seconds,
you could see the ambulance just going to ham in
this parking lot around well for something. Yeah, they were
just practicing, that's all, you know. I got to be
able to drive and get to to the to the
patient and the victims that any means necessary. God Donuts
(37:24):
helped you with. These were employees. This wasn't a stolen ambulance, no,
I mean their employees of some e ms of sorts
like these guys actually thought this is a good idea,
Like it was in the back on and it was
too many. Uh I hope it was in the back
the video I was like, that would not end well. Yeah,
(37:46):
well they were in the back using some ivy fluid.
You know, Wow, they was doing the donuts. But have
you seen the back of an ambulance before. There's a
lot going on back there. I feel like this would
be kind of not a good idea with all what
I'm saying. A part ride, I agree, Alright, one more,
This one's kind of sad. Um. A woman is claiming
(38:07):
that she actually hit two bikers and killed them, but
she's claiming it's because she had a poop. Um, that's
what her her excuses. Come to find out, she's actually
got a history of of drunk driving. Uh so that's
not gonna fly. Um. I mean, I think the most
interesting part of that story is the way Brady says poop.
