We got an off the rails argument we will get
to momentarily. We're broadcasting live from the ti irac dot
(00:22):
com studios. Tirac dot com. We'll help get you there.
An unmatched selection, fast, free shipping, free road hazard protection,
and over ten thousand recommended installers tirac dot com. The
way tire buying should be. Okay, Jeff, we got the
women's national championship game yesterday and LSU they take down Iowa.
(00:44):
Kim mulki fourth national championship. She won three at Baylor,
now one one at LSU in her second year. I
was thinking, it's probably an unfair comparison, But are we
expecting Brian Kelly at LSU to win a college football
national championship because he's in year two. That's what Kim
mulk just did. Probably not, probably not not maybe soon,
(01:07):
but probably not. No. Yeah, um do an incredible job, obviously, Uh.
I think they had I think they said last they
had one returning player UM when she taught the job.
And so to be able to get in, you know,
now obviously you know, to acquire talent. You know, is
UM you know kind of quotote easier with the trance reportal,
(01:28):
but she had to obviously go out and get that
talent and get them all to to UM, you know,
to believe and buy in and obviously you know, UM
to win. It's impressive. Yeah, yeah, And listen, women's college basketball,
we all know this very top heavy. It is the
anti NFL. You got a lot of parody in the NFL,
not a whole lot of parody in women's college basketball.
(01:49):
But the stat with LSU was they were ranked sixteenth
before the season began. So that's the lowest a team
had been ranked before the season that went on to
win a title. So that's a of an accomplishment in
year two. Goodness, So shout out to Kim Mulki. Now
we get to drama here, Jeff Schwartz, that's what we
all feast on. So the drama of this game, Angel
(02:11):
Reese and Caitlin Clark you can't see me, John Cena style.
And so you had Caitlin Clark do this earlier in
the tournament to Louisville, and so Angel Reese gave her
a dose of her own medicine. What's the saying, ain't
no front fun when the rabbit got the gun. Yes,
that's basically what happened. Angel Reese was like, you like this,
(02:32):
you can't see me now, but she went all in.
I think that was an extended you can't see me
from Angel Reese, but you got to hear it from
her own words. There's a lot of conversation on social media.
Some people hated it. A lot of people came rushing
to Angel Reese's defense over here. So this was Angel
(02:53):
Reese after the game talking about the you can't see
me gesture that she delivered toward Caitlin Clark. All year,
I was critique about who I was. I don't yeah
the narrative. I don't fit the narrative. I don't fit
in the box that y'all want me to be in.
I'm too hood, I'm too ghetto. Y'all told me that
all year, but when other people do it, y'all don't
(03:16):
say nothing. So this was for the girls that look
like me. That gonna that's gonna speak up on what
they believe in. It's unapologetic to you. And that's what
I did it for tonight. This was for more than
It was bigger than me tonight. It was bigger than me.
Twitter is gonna go in a rage every time. And
I mean, I'm happy. I feel like I've help grow
women's basketball this year. I'm super happy and excited. So
(03:38):
I'm looking forward to her celebrating in the next season. Okay,
So the first thing I think of, Jeff, if people
are throwing that in her face, as she said she's
too hood to ghetto, that sucks that. That's terrible. I
hate that she would ever go through anything like that.
But this conversation has gotten so emotional and so far
(03:59):
a from like the facts of the case. If you
just look at the facts, don't tell me it's the
exact same thing. Caitlin did a just a quickie against
Louisville that was an extended, drawn out you can't see
me in hey, like give me a ring the ring finger,
like right in Caitlin's face. I used the example at
the beginning that Angel Reese was like a cornerback in
(04:23):
the NFL, just shadowing a wide receiver it's not the
end of the world. It's not as big of a
deal as some people are making it out to be.
At some trash talk, it's some showboating. Okay, it happens.
Just don't tell me it's the same thing, because it's not.
And that's the popular argument for the people that are
defending her. I am a pro trash talk. I am
(04:44):
pro mocking during sporting events. I am pro taunting. If
you follow me on social media at Jeff Schwartz, you'll see,
like during the NFL season, if an NFL official throws
a flag for taunting, I think that official should be
thrown out of the game. Like, I am pro all
of this, right, Like I cannot believe that they gave
Clayton Clarker a te yesterday for like throwing the ball
(05:05):
and maybe saying something mean to the officials. Like I'm
like it just I'm I'm pro kind of lay your
emotions fly during games, right, And so I'm I'm very
pro Angel Reese being emotional and letting her emotions towards
Caitlin Clark out throughout the game, and she did all game.
(05:26):
And Angel Reese does the two small thing all the
time where she kind of like and she's she's tall, right,
so she gets a lot of rebounds, and she set
the record this year for most double doubles and women's
college basketball season. She's able to get rebound, she puts
the ball up, and she's that kind of too small
thing right that we saw Pat bev due to Lebron, Right, Yeah, yeah,
that's what she's what she does all the time. And
(05:46):
so I'm I'm very much prou pro that, um, But
I think I think athletes sometimes should not have to
explain why they why they taunt m because I think
it gets athletes into a situation where they don't win. Right.
You just be like, yeah, I did it, so what
(06:07):
So what I did it? Like you know what I mean, like, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah,
I taunted her, So what we won? And that's why
I did it, because because the reasons, and I totally
understand her feeling the way that she did after the game.
And there's two separate quotes. There's the comments that she
made that you just gave, which is, you know, an
hour hour and a half after the game at a
(06:28):
press conference. Also the comments she made right afterwards on
the set of of of Sports Center or whoever was
covering that that game where she basically said that that
calin Clark disrespected South Carolina. So that's why she was
she felt disrespected. UM, Like I think athletes shouldn't have
to defend themselves in the moment when they're taunting someone,
(06:48):
because again, it's emotional, Like, emotions are part of sports.
You're going to say things on a court you might
not say ever in public. Totally, Angels not going around
baton rouge today doing that. You can't see me to
strangers at the grocery store. It's okay, it's gonna do it.
(07:10):
I mean maybe she will. I don't know. I don't know.
That'd be a good touch if she did. Yeah, now
she might do that. But but you know, but you
shouldn't have to defend yourself, UM, to the to us,
to anybody when you taught someone on the court. UM.
And so I'm glad she's able to talk her talk right.
She she proved everyone wrong. She was at two different
(07:31):
schools before coming to LSU. UM. You know, to your point, like,
it's think that that people said that about her, UM
have said that about her, and she's able to to
to prove them wrong. And you're right, they're not the
same thing. Okay, Caitlin Clark did this two games go
to Louisville, right, and um it was Louisville, right she
(07:52):
she the girl and the girl by the way, Louisville
talks about the trash too. And and so if you
remember the girl Loui, I forget her name. Her and
someone at Texas had like a like a trash talkey
moment in like the handshake line after their game. It's
and by the way, this is all we're talking about
women's college basketball in an hour one of our show
(08:12):
and show in the a block like this is yeah
women's college basketball. Um and so and again, Kiyla Clark
kind of did it like to her face and she's
walking away right, not in her face. Andrew res did
it one time and then follow her around the court
as her team was celebrating the championship. Yeah, make sure
that Kayla Clark saw it. Again. Kilar was like, we
(08:33):
like bobbing, like weaving and bobbing around trying to like
find she's just trying to get back to her bench
because the game was over. Yeah, just like in her way,
it's just not the same thing, the same thing. But again,
I don't. I think athletes should just be like, yeah,
I did it. I totally agree with that. I love
that point because and I'm not gonna take it completely
(08:55):
off of this discussion, but it reminds me of n
I L and some teams. You'll see this where it's like, oh, oh,
Dion Sanders, you only have the number one recruit because
he's got an nil deal, right, and it's like, no, no,
we don't know not here, and that's not I wish
a team would just be like, yeah, it's got an
nil deal, it's legal. It's accepting someone who is an
organ duck. This is what I say to people all
(09:17):
the time, right. People will say, oh you just good,
good good, Yeah Greg, Oh no, no, the prestige of
Oregan It's got a lot more to do with the no.
Like fine, thank you, Nike, I appreciate it. Yeah, continue,
please please continue support on our program. Thank you very much.
I totally agree with you. As far as a trash
(09:39):
talking athlete just be like, yeah, I was emotional. It happens.
You know. I'm not the only one I would even
say that, but yeah I did it, Yeah I did it.
Yeah I trash doctor yeah. I think this Also, we've
gotten into this realm with sports where it's perceived as
you're on one side or you're on the other. It's
like a lack of nuance where you're either team Caitlin
(10:01):
and you're fighting the good fight for Caitlin or your
team Angel and you're fighting the good fight for Angel.
It's just it's silly to me. It shouldn't just be
sides where I would look and say I was a
little bit excessive. It wasn't the same thing Caitlyn did.
But it's not the end of the world. It doesn't
have to be like we're in Braveheart and you're either
(10:22):
with the English or you're with mel Gibson. Like it
turns into that all the time. And I think the
other thing that you say is, look, you have to
do a self evaluation test. You know, some people they're
they're personal, like they're stereotypical. There there's racism involved. I
would say the same thing about Angel Reese if a
(10:42):
guy did it, if a white guy did it, Like,
it's not racial, it's not gender driven, it's not any
of that stuff, And so for it to turn into
that is ridiculous also, right, But I mean, look, there
is a component for what Angel Reese after the game,
right of people directing definitely what she was subjected to. Yeah, certainly.
(11:07):
But but but I think there is part of that
discussion now where you know, people feel like, well, we're
you know, people have defended you know, Caitlin Clark, but
not Angel Reese. And that's why I made myself protunting
to everyone for Proton Proton. Everyone talk all you want, trash,
talk all you want, right, because again, I mean, and
you have to understand social media is not real life.
(11:30):
I think me and you get this. Obviously we're older,
hopefully we're more mature. Um, but I think you know,
at times, you know, young athletes, they look at social media,
and I think that they're very smart about it. Obviously,
Caitlin Clark and Injuries have have cash in on namea
and likeness and say should I think I think Injuries
is one of the highest earners for name and likeness.
They understand what social media is, but also it's also
(11:50):
not real life, right and so um, I think when
you understand that a little bit more, you you learned
that you know to not you know, look at at
things that happen on social media and say that's you know,
that's how people feel about me in real life, even
though it's very difficult to do that, right because you
see often at times, you know, people directing very hateful
things to you on social media, and it does feel
like even I feel that's that way at times too.
(12:12):
People say things to me. It's like you drown myself.
Not not real life, not real life. It's not real life.
It's just social media. Um. You know, people would never
have never said those things to my face before. Um.
But again, I'm look, I'm very happy we're talking about
women's college basketball. I've I've watched a sport now for
many years. It's the only intention deserves Angel. We've been
great in the tournament. She was played well in this game.
(12:35):
Again pro taunting love it. Good for you, Um, keep
up the good work. Like yeah, I'm i'm, I'm I'm
happy that for Angel reis for LSU. You're hugging it.
I feel like you're, you know, like when you had
young kids. You're hugging the taunting and you're kind of like,
you know, comforting taunting. I got you, it was it
(12:58):
only happened. It only happened during the game. The game
was still, the clock was ticking down, the clock had
not struck zero yet, and she was still taunting, like
after the game maybe a little different before the game.
I don't know. Ye during the game be my guest
to do so, and she did it. She knocked out
of the park. And I love during the game when
the game hasn't been decided. I'll say that for anybody,
(13:20):
you know, like men, women, whatever she was talking, she
was doing it all game. But the bling that you
can't see me that was when you're up fifteen with
a minute to go. You know, like Larry Bird going
back in the hot Tub time Machine when he won
the three point contest before the contest even started, he's like,
who's playing for second place? You know, he didn't say
that after he won it. He said it before that.
(13:41):
You know, there are better examples than that. But I
just have more respect if she does this in the
second quarter after a shot on Caitlin. Okay, like that
to me is top shelf trash talking when the game
hasn't been decided. But it just differs from me. That's all. Again,
not the end of the world though, And the thing
about too is, like, does Kalen Clark care like like
(14:04):
that's part of a two Like. I don't think she cares.
She was just like, yeah, I was just going to
my bench, and you know, she just continued on. But
I don't think it's gonna keep her up at night.
And listen, hey, listen, it's entertainment. Like it's something that
is absolutely entertaining and people have an opinion, so it's
not all bad. We got to do this. Also, it's
time for the progressive play of the day. Check this out.
(14:27):
Borris grippling lass. Boris drops it off. A Reese left
the Wayne pool to shoot Reese out to pool high
the right step to do a wink three. You got it,
and that is gonna put it in the books. LSU
with one old five ago, it's up ninety eight eighty two.
The emotion is starting to spill over on Kim Monkey.
(14:48):
She can barely contain the tears to do what she's
done in such a short time. Yeah, there you go.

(15:10):
the play by play guy would have done play by
play of the you can't see Me taunt in that
same voice and Angel Race doing the you can't see
me right now, still doing it, still doing it, doing
it a little more now, the playing Oh, she's bawling
out all the stops. That was a missed opportunity. I
feel like it's just like it's it's people get so
(15:33):
consumed by the honest parts about sports sometimes it's just
like like I don't know, I don't I just think
I just don't have time to get so angry about
things like this doesn't really for me, man I got you,
man Hey. Coming up next, we gotta visit the tank
standings and there is a viral video attached to this.
(15:55):

(16:44):
So if we look at the tank standings over here,
there are teams that are trying to lose on purpose
at the end of the season, Maybe get a few
more ping pong balls for the Victor wimban Yama Sweepstakes.
This French phenom, he's seven foot four, can handle the rock.
There was a viral video yesterday where he's dribbling between
(17:04):
his legs, takes a step back, three misses it, runs
down the lane, catches it and dunks it back home.
And it's like this guy, Yeah, he was playing against
high school kids though I don't know who, but but uh,
he's he's gonna be incredible NBA. Right. He seems to
be he's gonna not be good. You know what's crazy
(17:26):
is I was doing a show with Olden Polinice x
NBA player on Fox Sports Radio yesterday and he was like, eh,
shoulder shrug. He's like really yeah, He's like, ah, you
heard this with Boll Bull, you heard it with chet
Home brit and not with bow bul. Bubble was like
he was an organ. He was never thought about like this.
He was right, that's yeah, he was never thought about
(17:48):
it as a phenom. But he's just talking about real
tall maybe bean Poles. You know, Sector can shoot. Oh
he's a tremendous shooter. Bull Bull can fill it up too,
but he was never didn't he didn't. He did not
as well in college. That wasn't like what he did
it well. But okay, so wow, okay, so he's kind
of the shrug his yeah, just shrugged his shoulders like
(18:10):
chet Holmegren. He told me he was gonna be all
world and you know he got hurt and didn't play
all season, and you know, Victor's got to add a
lot more mass to him. So yeah, he was like, yawn,
shoulders shrugs. Wow, Well we thought that about Kevin Durant.
He had to add mass to him too, right, that
was like a negative about Kevin Durant. I mean totally.
The thing about chet Homegrant is it looked like a
(18:31):
stiff wind could blow him over, and he was like,
but he played like Kevin Durand doesn't play like that though, right,
Like he plays stronger than his name. Yeah, chet Homegron
never never did like in college again, like you just
he played teams and the just kind of like shove
him around the court. Obviously, Victor. It's hard to really tell,
but in the clips we've seen of him, the times
(18:52):
he's even play players near his caliber, he's not well
those guys kind of getting pushed around the court though.
So um, I just love one thing I love about
some of these to really tall players. It's like they
get really upset when you call him like seven footers,
Like no, but but you're like you're seven five. It's okay.
I didn't know there was a thing. H Yeah, like
(19:13):
they hate I think Kevin Durant is listed at like
six to eleven. Still it's like no, it's like you
know you're you're large human, It's okay, wow, Okay, he
doesn't like being called like a seven footer, even though
he's huge, So you would if someone you're six six, right, Jeff,
someone called you a six ten four Durant's listened to
six ten. I think he's Everyone claims he's legit over
(19:36):
seven feet tall, but he's listening to six ten. Yeah,
he's in the ballpark. It's the old school neighborhood playing baseball.
You know you're around seven forty Wow? Okay? Well, and
I also think this too, were these teams they're trying
to get more ping pong balls, and some of them
win games like Portland yesterday won a game against the
(19:58):
Minnesota Timberwolves. Portland was a nineteen and a half point
underdog and they want outright, so that impacts potentially how
many ping pong balls they have at the end of
the season. Indiana, Orlando in that mix, we're talking from
the five to seven range in terms of where you
are just getting the ping pong balls with the draft lottery.
(20:19):
So it's gonna be very excited to see how it
shakes out. But I just think it's funny how these
teams are shutting their big name players down and it's
clearly to get more ping pong balls, and they'll end
up winning some of these games. It's hilarious to me.
So this is why taking is so hard, and this
is why it's so hard in the NFL is because
you can't, like you, you can't tell players to not
(20:45):
play hard. Yeah, the way that you tank is by
you know, the way you tank is by having players
off the fielder off the court. And that's why you know,
Utah this year try to tank, but their players just
played well, like they try to get rid of everybody,
and they tried, hey man, like let's get rid of
Donovan Mitchell, Let's get rid of Rudy Gobert. And they tried.
(21:08):
But you can't tell players not to play hard. And
we saw last night Portland is trying to lose. They're trying.
They shut Dame Lillard down. They're trying their best to lose.
And they won as a nineteen point under dog at
Minnesota and it hurts them in the victor woman Yamba, Uh,
you know, I'd probably butchered that name. But right now
(21:29):
we have Detroit, Houston, even Charlotte my Hornet's, my my
lovely Charlotte Hornets, who won like five games in a
row for no apparent reason. Um, a few weeks ago,
like it was no point for them. When I was
at one of those games, I watched them beat beat
the heat Um and there's no point for them to
win that game like they need. They're trying to lose.
(21:49):
They're trying to be bad and balls out like steak
be bad. They beat the MAVs twice in a row
last week as well, back to back, so we can ellis,
how does that happen? But that's another story. You wanna
you want to be bad and right now looks like
Detroit does. If Victor gets drafted to Detroit, does he
(22:10):
just not play in the NBA? Does he just like
go back to France? For you, it's it's like forget it. Yeah,
the three teams with the best odds and they all
have the same odds. Right, if you're a bottom three team,
you have about a fourteen percent chance. They've changed those
odds over the years. But yeah, it's Houston, Detroit and
the Spurs. Those three teams will have the same odds.
(22:32):
What's best for the NBA, It's gotta be Houston, right,
you don't want them in in San Antonio. They're probably
gonna get him. Greg Popitch probably gonna get him and
we'll have like Tim Duncan two point zero. It's probably
what's gonna end up backing. I mean, which team is
most likely to win? Quicker Well, I think Houston. They've
(22:54):
got some good young talent, and um, I think Houston
if they got wim Bin Yama and he's the real deal.
With Jabari Smith and Jalen Green, they've got some good
young players, so I could see them making a push. Well,
Detroit's had some top picks too with Kate Cunningham and
Jade and Ivy, So yeah, if he went to Detroit
(23:17):
or Houston, they'd have a lot of young talent. So
we'll see, we'll see if that's what ends up happening.
I also think this too. How about this? You'd love
this from a betting perspective, Jeff, If you had I
love these. If you had the Blazers yesterday, they were
plus nineteen and a half. If you had the Spurs yesterday,
(23:37):
they were plus sixteen. They were a sixteen point underdog
against Sacramento. If you took a money line two leg
parlay on the Blazers and the Spurs winning as outright underdogs,
a one hundred dollars bet would have earned you over
twelve thousand dollars. Why didn't we bet Blazers and Spurs
(23:58):
on the money line yesterday, Jeff? We value our money
a little bit too much. For every time it is,
there are thousands of times they don't. Yeah, Like why why?
Because I was too invested in uh in wagering on
on Iowa plus thirteen and a half they were down
seventeen and a half. Time you got in better than me.
I went plus nine and a half. Didn't work out.
(24:21):
I thought for sure I would would because Lsu had
shot the ball so over the skis in the first
half there. Now she had started some of the season,
but there I'm appoint I'm gonna make sure I get
her name crack because she was so good yesterday. Um Carson,
Yeah Carson for UM Jasmine Carson for LSU. Uh is
(24:43):
off the bench, but she didn't start for some point
this season. She averaged this year UM uh eight and
a half points, like she was a decent player for them.
But she had twenty one points in the first half
of that game. I believe um, and she was five
for five from three point land, and so I was like,
there's no way they're gonna continue to shoot this way.
They didn't, only made two threes and second half she
(25:05):
baked in a three to end the first half. I
was like, for sure, like tame with you probably like,
oh my god, there's no way they keep this pace up.
There's no way, and they yeah, they did. They did it.
Just shows like hashtag betting. You know that is welcome
to betting? Is It seemed like we were on the
right track with Iowa Caitlin Clark. There's no way, Ellis
you keeps this pace up. You would have been better
(25:26):
off just betting Blazers and Spurs out right in a
two leg parlay that that would have been the better play. Like,
it's absolutely welcome to betting wagering is Uh, it's frustrating,
absolutely unite. Though I picked him to win. I took
some some before the final four, took him to win
the tournament like one ten or something. So you're not hedging,
(25:50):
You're you're pressing over here, right, I'm not hedged. What
hedge on States not winning this game tonight? You could
go San Diego State plus the points and uh you're
bound to win one of the two middle Yeah, Like
you could go San Diego state plus seven and a half.
So let's say Yukon wins the game but doesn't cover
you get paid off both times. It's a middle. Yeah. Yeah,
(26:13):
but I think I think they're gonna win this game.
I actually might pre wager on Ukon winning the second
half of this game. Look, I think they're gonna win
the second half of this game now, and if I
do it now, I probably will get better numbers than
I would during the game. Yeah, maybe, who knows. We
don't know what the halftime score is. Maybe they'll be
up by thirteen like they were against Miami, and uh,
(26:36):
who knows how it shakes up. How about this, Jeff Um,
I think this is right up your lane because you're
all about ball. Looking forward to the NFL Draft, I
was just thinking about where these quarterbacks are ranked and
how it varies from place to place, where you put
the top four guys, at least who most people think
are the consensus top four guys. M I went back
and looked at the twenty eighteen draft because I'm just
(27:00):
ars like how those quarterbacks were ranked. And of course
that twenty eighteen draft there were five first round quarterbacks
where it was Baker Mayfield, Sam Darnold, Josh Allen, Josh Rosen,
and Lamar Jackson. Y. Yeah, So I went back. I
pulled up this this column from The Ringer, and they
had various people ranked the quarterbacks of that draft, and
(27:23):
I thought it was really interesting because Josh Allen the
Bills quarterback, nowhere to be found, Jeff nowhere to be found.
I'll give you a couple of these lists. Two of them,
they've got those other four first round picks in various order. Okay,
and then this guy Jack McCluskey has ranked fifth, anyone
else and then not ranked Josh Allen. Danny Heffitz, I think, yeah,
(27:50):
he goes Josh Rosen one didn't work out, Baker Mayfield two,
followed by Lamar Jackson, Sam Darnold, Kyle Laulette. He didn't
even rank Josh Allen. He had Kyle Aletta over there.
I'll give you a couple more Ben Clips Clicksman he
had then the twenty eighteen draft before that ranked wait
(28:11):
two years for Tuah number one. He had Josh Rosen, two,
Baker Mayfield, Lamar Jackson number five, Kenny Trill and Kenny
Trill ranked over Josh Allen. Who, yeah, who is that.
I remember him playing at Texas A and M for
a little bit and he transferred, dare you. Yeah, he
(28:32):
transferred somewhere else. But he had like a great two
games stretch where he was all world and that was
pretty much it for Kenny. T was a TCU. Yeah
he's now coaching incarnate word. Yeah, he was at I
think A and M and TCU. I can't remember. I
think he transferred to TCU at the end, but it
(28:54):
was at Texas A and M where he had a
couple of really good games. He never played. He never
actually played in any professional Yeah he was. He was
ranked fifth in this and never actually played. He didn't
even play in Canada. He got he didn't even play
in Canada. I know. He was ranked ahead of Josh
Allen according to Ben glick Smith one more for you.
(29:14):
You love this Michael Bauman. So he ranked heading into
the twenty eight team draft, Lamar Jackson won, Baker Mayfield two,
Josh Rosen third, Mason Rudolph fourth, right flight for the Steelers,
and uh five. I remember this guy, John mcintee, the
former Yukon trick shot quarterback. He had that guy over
(29:39):
Josh Allen. Look, I thought Josh Opson would be good
and so I'm not one to speak you know, we
all have our mistakes, yep. Yeah, um, so we've I
think we've changed the way we evaluate completion percentage when
it comes to quarterbacks. That's because of Josh Allen, right
like forever. Absolutely, Yeah, there was a st sixty percent
(30:01):
was the minimum requirement that you needed to be good
in the NFL was sixty um in college to be
good in the NFL. And that changed with Josh Shallen.
Now now you know, he's still an aulier. Right. If
you look at the history of the NFL, quarterbacks that
(30:22):
have not been above average for the first two years
of their career typically do not become above average afterwards,
which is exactly what Josh Allen has become. He's the alier.
So if you believe that, you know now that you
(30:42):
know the Anthy richardsoner Will Levis like they become the
alier now because of Josh Allen. That's that's probably bad
decision to Yeah, hey, I totally hear you. It really
is to find the next Josh Allen. Good luck with that.
I guess the takeaways with those lists it would say
that you can at least leave the door open because
(31:02):
Anthony Richardson had a low completion percentage at Florida and
at least the doors cracked with his tools, especially that
he could pan out and be a really, really solid
NFL quarterback. I think it also it leaves the door
open for a guy like Will Levis, where right now
the popular thing, the trendy thing is to be like, oh,
this guy, this freaking guy, he's should dropping lack of
(31:23):
rock in the in the draft, in the mock drafts
over there, right Like it's just trendy to talk trash
about Will Levis. It was very trendy to talk trash
about Josh Allen. So I'm not telling you Will Levis
is the second coming of Josh Allen. I'm just telling
you what the trendy thing is before the draft might
not actually play out in actuality. So who's this year
(31:45):
is like Josh Allen, because who's the guy that's going
to be good? Well I think that yeah, right, yeah, yeah, yeah,
he's a little bit lower. I think it could be
Will Levis. I do they don't have him, they're not
talking as much trash where they don't have like the
equivalent of Kyle Auletta or a trick shot quarterback ranked
(32:07):
ahead of Will Levis, but it is popular to talk
smack about the guy. All right. Coming up next from
the Tirak dot com studios, We've got I thought I
knew Jeff before I received an email. We'll have some
fun with that story. I'm Brian, No, he's Jeff Schwartz.

(33:31):
knew you, Jeff. It makes me think of a little
shout out. WrestleMania was a big deal last couple of
nights for people who indulged edge. This wrestler. His music
starts off, you think you know me? I thought I
knew you, Jeff until an email we got last night.
Now that's from our trusted producer Lee Robert and Lap
the Fourth and he sent us an email and I
(33:54):
saw it at the top. It's, you know, addressed to me.
It's addressed to you. You spell your name Jeff g
E O F F and this email it said Jeffrey
Schwartz and its spelled out j E F F R
E Y And I'm like, what is this? Wait, what happened?
It's spelled differently, so like we got two different spellings
(34:17):
of Jeff. No, one's not. Yeah. Uh. The email to
me says from Lee to Jeff with my proper spelling
of my name. Yeah. On my end it has like
the address and it's it's Jeffrey spelled with a J.
That's because you have an Android phone. That's because you you.
(34:40):
I think this is a me thing. I realized after
the fact that I had sent it to the wrong
there's two Jeffrey Schwartz, and I know Jeff the right
spelling for Jeff. Okay, but I think it the Schwartz,
you know. Put it to an old Jeff is over,
you know, to Jeff Schwartz. I do, wow, Wow, here's
the cooler guy, this one or the other. This one
(35:02):
of course. Oh, actually the other one's pretty cool. Does
the other Jeffrey Schwartz have a face you would recognize? Oh,
you know, like that's you would recognize it. Yeah, he
looked a little like Albert Einstein. Oh, I thought I
thought this. I thought this The seng one was going
in a different direction. Thank Yeah, you would love this, though, Jeff,
this is tremendous. This is the tweet of the day
(35:24):
from chet. He wrote in and wrote, like a rock
is a great song. We were talking about Bob Seeger
and like a Rock song. We were applying it to
the Dallas Mavericks who were just sinking in the standing.
So Chet checks in on Twitter and wrote, like a
rock is a great song. Rick Veto plays some amazing
slide guitar. He also played with Fleetwood Mac. He gets
(35:47):
that deep sound by using a Sears Craftsman's socket to
play slide guitar. I don't know how you won up
that tweet right there. I don't know any of that means,
but I assume it's pretty cool. Think about playing guitar
with the Sears Craftsman's socket wrench. You know, that's what.
I sort of get that, but I just can't visualize
(36:09):
that as someone who is very um just don't have
a bone of like rhythm, no musical ability, musical ability
at all in my brain. You have sports ability, though, Jeff,
you would appreciate this, how about it? Just saw this,
uh this stat Jasmine Carson you were talking about from LSU.
(36:31):
They won a national championship last night. Showed up big
when it mattered most. So she had eleven points combined
in the first five tournament games for LSU and then
last night twenty one points in just the first half alone.
This is a difference in these games, right, Like someone
tonight in the men's game that we have no idea
(36:52):
who they are. I'm not saying we know who Jasmine was,
but someone who don't expect right gonna is gonna have
a game of their lifetime. Iowa had eighty five points yesterday,
that's normally enough to win a basketball game. Yeah, and
and but you you know, you put in LSU's forty
bench points right including the twenty and I think Jasmine
(37:13):
up with twenty four points. Uh like that. You know
that's a difference. And someone tonight it's gonna have their
one shining momentum and it's and we don't know who
it's going to be. And that's a maze college basketball,
I think, so much different than other sports we generally
know in football and the NBA and whatnot. College football,
who's gonna be pretty good in a big game. It's
(37:36):
a maze college basketball. Fund we don't know. Yeah, it
should be a fun nine, fun night tonight. Everybody enjoyed
the National Championship game. Fun with you, Jeff, good stuff,
