Speaker 4 (01:05):
Well you throw that in there with jet Bread.

Speaker 6 (01:08):
I mean, Lincoln Park's done some nice things. They don't
really have balls, you just don't done. Some nice songs
been very successful. Listen, God bless them.

Speaker 5 (01:18):
Welcome into your place.

Speaker 3 (01:20):
The theme music of Narcos.

Speaker 6 (01:22):
That's got balls. Guy walks into a bar the opening
scene of the show and they get shot up. He
gave them, He gave them like thirteen Ccario's there, that
got balls. That show had balls, all right, you got
out of line. Pablo Escobar was going to throw you
in the water with the Hippos. Show had balls.

Speaker 5 (01:44):
Well, Scott Dixon in that that show.

Speaker 4 (01:47):
Damn hey, if he wins this driver, guys.

Speaker 3 (01:52):
Don't get.

Speaker 4 (01:55):
He wins.

Speaker 6 (01:56):

(02:19):
Thunder up two games to none, another wipeout. The game
is relatively close in like the first half at times,
and then the second half starts and they just kick
it into full gear, way too deep for the Minnesota Timberwolves,
who and the Oklahoma City Thunder are off and running
with a two two zero series lead. Shake Gildess Alexander

(02:42):
was named the MVP. He was celebrated, hoisted the award
and the trophy. So let's hear a little bit from
Shake Guilders fallecis I mean Alexander here following the game, I.

Speaker 7 (02:53):
Feel like my emotions are like so high that I
was like a little bit like tired out there, especially
to start.

Speaker 5 (02:59):
I was like a little too juice stuff.

Speaker 7 (03:01):
But yeah, special moment. I'm happy we won, so I
can really enjoy the last couple of days and soak
it all up.

Speaker 4 (03:07):
That really helps.

Speaker 7 (03:08):
We just prioritize what matters, and like we've come to
realize that you win games and all that other stuff
comes after. And it's you guys saw it last night
with myself and Lou and Dub today, getting a recognition
when you win games and you do it together and
you have fun out there, everything else, all the individual
stuff you want, it comes with it, but it starts
with taking care of business a basketball court.

Speaker 6 (03:28):
And we know that he doesn't sound Canadian. I know
he's Canadian. He doesn't sound Canadian.

Speaker 5 (03:34):
Canadian. He doesn't sound American either though, yeah so, but
he's Canadian, so to say he doesn't sound Canadian would
be kind of like is that an oxymoron?

Speaker 3 (03:46):
Like, did you guys see the gift baskets he gave
his teammates.

Speaker 4 (03:50):
No, we're like, oh, were cars and they all.

Speaker 8 (03:53):
Got roll Ex's. Okay, there was a bunch of other stuff.
I'm sure it leads up on this, but it was legit.
I mean, it probably cost him, no exaggeration, one hundred
thousand plus more per basket, first teammates.

Speaker 5 (04:10):
Per basket per basket.

Speaker 3 (04:13):
Like, I'll try to go find exactly what was in
it all tell you?

Speaker 9 (04:18):
Yeah, yeah, on top of on top of the rolexes,
he had some jackets in there, some some luxury jackets, but.

Speaker 3 (04:25):
They were what's the is it? Golden Goose? Was that
the name of it?

Speaker 5 (04:30):
They're expensive Canada Goose Canada, Golden Goose is the shoe.

Speaker 3 (04:37):
But they're expensive. I mean those are.

Speaker 5 (04:39):
Triple fat goose. Down what I remember.

Speaker 4 (04:45):
I'm looking for the old report I had. Did you
have the report? Yeah, I gave it to you yesterday
or two days ago. They didn't have the report.

Speaker 3 (04:53):
I saw had it on top of them.

Speaker 6 (04:56):
I've got the contents here if you want me to
read it off. Watch iPhones, beats by Dre headphones and
Yes Canada Goose jackets embroidered with the Thunders NBA best
sixty eight and fourteen regular season record.

Speaker 5 (05:11):
Man, all that stuff sponsored. It's a valued at one
hundred grand.

Speaker 6 (05:18):
It's the that's the Russell Wilson move. Remember when he
gifted his teammates all airline tickets by the airline, Like, well,
it's just a big not nice.

Speaker 3 (05:28):
I mean still yeah, free stuff, it's cool.

Speaker 6 (05:31):
I don't want anything from anybody unless you come out
of pocket. You don't come out of pocket talking ticket,
talking to me, and I don't mess around.

Speaker 5 (05:38):
Better pay for that.

Speaker 3 (05:41):
If you guys. I'll never give you guys anything that
I'll stuff the Lee and Lorena.

Speaker 5 (05:44):
That's fine. I don't want it if it ain't genuine.
Brady Dixon Joe Pocket.

Speaker 3 (05:54):
Jokes on. Scott is gonna win it?

Speaker 4 (05:58):
Yeah, yeah, a yeah he is. He always does, yes,
he does.

Speaker 6 (06:05):
So they will continue. They will continue the Eastern Conference Finals.
Whatever's left of the New York Dicks is they scoop
them uf off the ground there and try.

Speaker 5 (06:16):
And try it. They did put them on the ground.

Speaker 4 (06:19):
Man, that was bad.

Speaker 6 (06:21):
But one thing that was pointed out, according to front
Off of Sports, that Wednesday's overtime game between the Pacers
and the Knicks, it drew an audience of six point
six million viewers on TNT. It's the most watched Eastern
Conference Finals opener since twenty eighteen, and it should be
pointed out it's also the final time we're going to

(06:41):
get to see the NBA on TNT the way the
way we've gotten so used to. And I don't know
if people realize that like that, that makes me want
the series to go seven games, just so we can
get as much of this current form, because who knows
what it's going to look like next year when they're
with the ESPN or however that that setup is going
to be.

Speaker 5 (07:00):
Are they keeping the team together to do it on
the ESPN. Yeah, but it might end up being better.
I mean, it's the guys that make it, you know.
But Ernie isn't going with them, is he?

Speaker 4 (07:12):
Is he going with them?

Speaker 6 (07:12):
I think so?

Speaker 4 (07:14):
Yeah.

Speaker 5 (07:14):
I think as long as you keep those guys together,
you'll still be able to you know, you'll be able
to find I.

Speaker 8 (07:22):
Thought Chuck was saying they don't have clarity right now
and like how much they're gonna have to work what
they have to do, and that was a big sticking.

Speaker 3 (07:28):
Point for him.

Speaker 5 (07:29):
Yeah, I don't know. I don't know. I'll say this though,
if they were to some way somehow, let those those
guys like let that show go that. I don't you know,
I don't know. Man, you got to help you. Yeah,
I don't know.

Speaker 4 (07:49):
You got to help me understand, like, like, what is
the ultimate goal of business?

Speaker 5 (07:54):
If you found lightning in a bottle and it's like
you open up the bottle and let the lightning out,
what was the point of trying to catch it? He
is staying so he's not going to go to ESPN.

Speaker 4 (08:09):
Correct, that's that's as of a few weeks ago. That
might change.

Speaker 5 (08:12):
But you're saying stay inside the NBA, Like what does
that represent because there is no anything NBA on tn T.

Speaker 6 (08:21):
He's been, he's been at Turner.

Speaker 4 (08:23):
He said he'll stay with Turner.

Speaker 5 (08:25):
He's staying with Turner Sports, not inside.

Speaker 6 (08:27):
I thought he was still going to that he did
have clearance to be able to go and still do
the show with those guys if they're going to be
part of ESPN's coverge.

Speaker 4 (08:39):
Are you following everybody? Patrick Aske?

Speaker 9 (08:41):
Yeah, Actually, the plan is now going to say that
we're going to continue to do the show, but it's
just going to air on T and T because the
NBA on TN T is no more after these playoffs.

Speaker 5 (08:53):
I don't understand that. Can y'all explain it to me?

Speaker 3 (08:57):
I don't know.

Speaker 8 (08:57):
I do love how Lee just like read off the
quote that was priven instead of summarizing.

Speaker 5 (09:04):
Yeah, well, Lee's not comprehending it either. I can tell
about the way he's looking at you.

Speaker 4 (09:08):
A few weeks ago it was that he said that
he was staying with Turner. But now as of.

Speaker 3 (09:15):
It's a fluid situation, all right, It's it's like Leon
a weekday. How drink? It's a fluid situation.

Speaker 5 (09:23):
How much fu?

Speaker 3 (09:24):
Yeah it could be bo, It's never less than six.

Speaker 6 (09:27):
But okay, all right, let me ask you guys a
question if it's a serious cast, if they if they
decided we want to stay at Turner, and the setup
was this, we'll continue to do our show on Thursday
on TNT. We won't have the game, we'll just cover
the game that aired elsewhere. What do you think would

(09:47):
do better ratings their show or the game that was
being played elsewhere. I mean, we know the answer. Doesn't
that tell it's their show?

Speaker 4 (09:55):
Yeah?

Speaker 6 (09:55):
Doesn't that tell you something like that? That's that's the
prize in this whole thing. And if it's not going
to be the same that it was elsewhere, why even
do it? Like, if it's not if we're not going
to get the same show if ESPN hopefully ESPN backsway
and I don't know how much input they have on
Pat mcapee show starring aj Hawk, but I'm assuming they

(10:16):
kind of give him autonomy to be able to to
do what he wants there and kind of oh yeah,
So hopefully it's something like that, because if they try
and get their hands on it and try and mess
with what those guys have created for decades to be
the best studio show in the history of the business,
then it's just going to ruin the whole thing that
they built. So hopefully that's not the case.

Speaker 5 (10:38):
But I mean, even when Draymond comes on and contributes
after they go home from from the playoffs, I mean,
it's just a really good show Man. It's a good show.
I mean it's it's inert TV. Yeah, it is good
fun to watch man. Everyone's trying to recreate it. No
one wants to take the production risk.

Speaker 8 (10:57):
I would love to go behind the scenes and see
like how the show comes together and how the producers
put it together, because I do feel like there's a
lot of trust in making sure that Ernie gets the
guys to go where they need to go, and the
guys are gonna touch on things they need to talk about,
and that at the same time, they need to have
enough space in room where you know, just behind the
scenes how it works. You have a rundown, that's your

(11:19):
schedule of how things are supposed to go, and sometimes
things change.

Speaker 3 (11:23):
But there might be some that are open because they
know that they're or they might have to.

Speaker 8 (11:26):
Collapse stuff and not get the stuff they're gonna talk
about because they'll go on a tangent and.

Speaker 3 (11:32):
Ends up being the best television.

Speaker 5 (11:34):
Yeah, it's just too there's too many factors that go
into it to be able to recreate it. There's no
other shacks out there. There are no other shacks out there.
There are no other Charles Barkley's out there. They're they're
just aren't. You can't recreate what they have. You just can't. Ernie,

(11:55):
you can't recreate Ernie and Kenny's legs. You can't recreate
can There's just you just can't re You can't recreate
that show.

Speaker 3 (12:05):
That's ridiculous.

Speaker 4 (12:07):
You can't recreate it.

Speaker 5 (12:09):
It's just too many.

Speaker 3 (12:10):
Hey, we got your fingers though, you got some of
those that picky.

Speaker 5 (12:15):
I mean, I got mallets. But I'm just saying you
can you can't. Yeah, you, but you can't recreate with
these issues. Yeah, got the gang green knee, we got.
We got uniqueness to our show as well.

Speaker 3 (12:29):
You know, but the knee doppler whatever, man, Yeah, I.

Speaker 4 (12:33):
Do have the knee doppler.

Speaker 5 (12:36):
I saw the way I rolled up. Look, I've been
keeping up with my medicine. Ya ain't seeing me limp
around in a while.

Speaker 6 (12:42):
Wasn't there a knee doppler Twitter account.

Speaker 4 (12:44):
Or something like that?

Speaker 3 (12:45):
Five thousand yeahs, knee dupler?

Speaker 6 (12:48):
I thought it was.

Speaker 4 (12:51):
Then there's one about mine too, But we had the cranks.

Speaker 3 (12:54):
I'm making up Twitter accounts for yourself. We get it.
You guys try to put together a podcast.

Speaker 6 (12:58):
And did you try and claim Levar's knee just now.

Speaker 4 (13:03):
No, you're right, Yeah, you're right about Levar's doppler. But
I did have it. I did have a lee.

Speaker 5 (13:08):
Somebody has a lee lee Knie.

Speaker 3 (13:11):
You made it one day when you guys are trying
to put together podcast, top.

Speaker 8 (13:15):
Went anywhere because you guys, again, we're always too banged
up to actually tape anything.

Speaker 4 (13:19):
So I just look at me, look at those guys.
I don't don't Iowa, Sam.

Speaker 6 (13:22):
I just found LeVar knee doppler five thousand. Those that
are not familiar, LeVar can sense a weather shift in
his knee.

Speaker 5 (13:31):
Yeah, the left one.

Speaker 6 (13:33):
So the bio on this And by the way, the
profile picture is a horse yearned.

Speaker 5 (13:39):
Yea it is.

Speaker 6 (13:44):
It looks like I mean, it looks like he's got
a super soaker.

Speaker 5 (13:46):
It is a super soaker. I've seen it.

Speaker 2 (13:49):
Yeah.

Speaker 9 (13:50):
And here's Lesney at Lesney one fifty one rum Rugburn
knee and.

Speaker 5 (13:56):
That is very accurate.

Speaker 6 (13:57):
So Levar's knee doppler bio is this, As the weather changes,
my knees will tell when and where it's going to happen.

Speaker 4 (14:05):
There you go.

Speaker 6 (14:06):
And the last tweet was January twenty fifth, and it said, uh,
taking a page from JKS today, going solo while the
guys are out. We want that never to be heard
from again. Very very interesting.

Speaker 5 (14:21):
I did a show by myself before. That's pretty wild.
That's wild business man. Yep. And you like doing it
like by yourself. You're like a by yourself type of guy. Yeah,
I prefer it that way. Yeah, that is weird.

Speaker 3 (14:35):
Are you just talking to old Mike for what two hours?
Three hours?

Speaker 5 (14:40):
I mean with millions of people listening? No, not when
you're on yourself. No, that's that's an over exaggeration. Jonas Knox.

Speaker 6 (14:51):
So there there's your update on uh on what exactly
I mean?

Speaker 4 (14:56):
This is By the way, this Twitter.

Speaker 6 (14:57):
Account was taking pictures at Little League of somebody wearing
number eleven saying stick city baby.

Speaker 4 (15:03):
That's awesome.

Speaker 6 (15:03):
Lots of love there from Levar's knee Doppler, which apparently
doesn't tweet anymore.

Speaker 5 (15:07):
So, oh yeah, I wait for the weather to thank Lee.

Speaker 6 (15:11):
What was the last tweet sent by your knees Twitter?

Speaker 4 (15:14):
Oh, I am loving my Lee's Knees account. Well, the
last one. It's a lot of our stuff.

Speaker 9 (15:20):
There's a profile photo of some rugburn knees there's some
of our content, some ben Nyler content, some of the shows,
let's say from back in September through November, and then
some other reposts that are very interesting.

Speaker 4 (15:37):
Especially for me. Oh yeah, yeah, that's some NASCAR stuff
took interesting. I'll have to show maybe that is doing it.

Speaker 5 (15:45):
Who knows it is?

Speaker 6 (15:47):
Two Pros and a Cup of Joe Here on Fox
Sports Radio, var Arrington, Brady Quinn, Jonas Knox with you,
So coming up next here we are going to tell
you the very latest on a story that people cannot
wait to see how it ends. But we could be
nearing that day very very soon. That's yours right here
on FSR.

Speaker 2 (16:06):
Be sure to catch live editions of Two Pros and
a Cup of Joe with Brady Quinn, LeVar Arrington, and
Jonas Knox weekdays at six am Eastern three am Pacific
on Fox Sports Radio and the iHeartRadio app.

Speaker 6 (16:22):
This song stinks, Two Pros and a Cup of Joe.
Fox Sports Radio, LaVar Arrington, Brady Quinn, Jonas Knox with
you here coming up.

Speaker 3 (16:30):
And I like it.

Speaker 4 (16:31):
Actually I like it too.

Speaker 3 (16:33):
I actually think Jonah stinks.

Speaker 6 (16:35):
Damn.

Speaker 3 (16:36):
I like this.

Speaker 6 (16:36):
So we're gonna have Lee's leftovers here coming up in
about twenty minutes from now here, A wait for this
SR So that'll be that'll be a good one.

Speaker 4 (16:46):
Oh about myself, we'll be a kid one late.

Speaker 6 (16:49):
Yeah, I mean he told me it's gonna be the
best one he's done in weeks.

Speaker 5 (16:53):
I mean, I hope it's better than the text message
you just sent us.

Speaker 4 (16:57):
I don't know if I'm going to top that. You
felt good about that I did from Lesi's Twitter count
that was from Oh yeah, that's why I sent it. Whoa, Okay,
what was the lebar?

Speaker 6 (17:13):
If you can describe it for the audience that can't
see the time it was just said, what would you
how would you describe that? I don't know, Man, those
that he said hammers, That's all I'm gonna say.

Speaker 5 (17:27):
I ain't gonna go any further than that.

Speaker 6 (17:29):
I mean, it does fit the stereotype for Lee though,
it does so at least you know, it's an accurate
depiction of what he's.

Speaker 4 (17:36):
Into, Okay, which is fair. I'm not in it away
from it.

Speaker 3 (17:40):
So so we've got the can I tell a funny
story real quick?

Speaker 5 (17:45):
Yeah?

Speaker 6 (17:46):
Please do, because it's better than what we're about to
talk about to be honest with you.

Speaker 8 (17:49):
Yeah, well we'll kind of punt right now for the moment.
But so obviously, my my wife was traveling for work.
I've been traveling as well, and we had our in
law us come to help watch our five children, which is,
you know, tough task.

Speaker 3 (18:04):
Obviously very thankful they were able to do so.

Speaker 8 (18:06):
So my father in law this morning, when they took
an uber to the airport, apparently left his phone in
the uber.

Speaker 3 (18:16):
Oh no, so they had walked inside.

Speaker 8 (18:18):
He realized it, and as he tried to run back
outside to go get his phone, he ran into a glass.
Oh and I guess he he blighted up his nose
from it. He was able to contact the driver to
get back his phone, but it appeared there was a

(18:41):
moment of moment of panic where it did not work
out overly well for him.

Speaker 5 (18:46):
Did you see the dude that guy hit upside to
hit with the door at that hotel and they awarded
him like twenty one million dollars or something like that.

Speaker 8 (18:54):
Yeah, you're probably a little different because this is more
like user air you know, like that's all right, Like,
what are you gonna sue the airport for all the windows?

Speaker 3 (19:01):
Shouldn't have been there.

Speaker 8 (19:02):
He man, Hey, the poor guy who just who just
watched the window to make it so clear that it
looked like it was just error.

Speaker 5 (19:12):
Crystal, that guy's gonna get in trouble now, Yeah, you've
made you made the window too clear. Yeah, it looked
like an entryway.

Speaker 8 (19:20):
And if you know my father in law, if you
know my father in law, just these things tend to
happen to him sometimes, so God, God bless them.

Speaker 5 (19:28):
Dang.

Speaker 8 (19:30):
I'm actually trying to get my wife to reach out
to the airport to see if they've got security footage
because I need to see this.

Speaker 3 (19:37):
Oh, I've got to see this so bad.

Speaker 6 (19:39):
You know, they're they're already looking at it. The people
upstairs have already got the video and they're sending it
back and forth to each other.

Speaker 8 (19:45):
I mean, have you ever watched someone like actually run
into a class door window.

Speaker 4 (19:50):
No, but I've done it.

Speaker 5 (19:51):
I've seen somebody run through a screen door before too.

Speaker 6 (19:56):
Yeah.

Speaker 5 (19:57):
Yeah, I've seen that. And that is funny. That is
really funny.

Speaker 4 (20:00):
Yeah.

Speaker 5 (20:01):
I mean, once you know they're okay, it's funny.

Speaker 3 (20:03):
Yeah, yeah, exactly.

Speaker 5 (20:04):
I love and that makes it even funnier. You want
to know what makes calamity like that funny is when
you make sure they're okay. You're like, okay, are you
all right? Are you all right?

Speaker 4 (20:14):
Like dang man, are you okay? Are you all right?
And then as soon as you get the I'm okay,
then you go. It makes it way better.

Speaker 5 (20:39):
It's way funnier once you wait until you know they're okay,
and then you get to laugh.

Speaker 6 (20:43):
It's the best When Lee face playing it in New Orleans.

Speaker 4 (20:46):
That was I didn't see that, so I didn't laugh
after math.

Speaker 6 (20:50):
Because I was so astonished at what had happened in
a small window of time, Like how much damage he
could have done to himself in the smallest of windows.

Speaker 5 (20:57):
I wish I could have seen it. I would have
been right there on the ground with him.

Speaker 8 (21:02):
Just Jonas is a terrible wing man. And I don't
know why Lee keeps putting his trust in you, because
every time something happens bad. Did you skin your knee
in Arizona?

Speaker 4 (21:12):
Is that what you did in Arizona? But that was Jonas,
didn't I don't even know how that happened.

Speaker 6 (21:18):
We're playing question the way you fell? No, that was Vegas,
that was Vegas. He skinned his knee.

Speaker 4 (21:24):
Was that Vegas, Vegas?

Speaker 3 (21:26):
It all looks the same.

Speaker 6 (21:27):
Arizona was the smash Burger. When Brady was thrown out
of the rest because he was throwing.

Speaker 4 (21:32):
Him out, he was definitely he was drunk.

Speaker 5 (21:34):
I was the only one that boycotted.

Speaker 3 (21:36):
And I walked in with carry out food and try
to sit with you guys at the.

Speaker 4 (21:40):
Bar Brady Brady threw us.

Speaker 6 (21:42):
Brady threw three fourths of a beer in the guy's
face and said, google me on the end or.

Speaker 4 (21:47):
Clearly it's cultural who on the way.

Speaker 3 (21:50):
I stay at the hotel? Was like when sat in
the lobby, Brady's because you guys weren't good friends.

Speaker 6 (21:55):
Brady's like, google me, You're not a graduate.

Speaker 5 (21:57):
You weren't friendly.

Speaker 8 (21:58):
Person was the only person who actually was a good
friend entire situation.

Speaker 4 (22:04):
I attacked him.

Speaker 6 (22:05):
I would have been a good friend too, if that's
my taxi, dude, I'm like, what do you mean friend friend?

Speaker 4 (22:13):
I was going after dude, and then boycott it.

Speaker 8 (22:16):
Kept getting the brown bag beer, which was the same
beer they're trying to get rid of.

Speaker 5 (22:22):
I'm just upset that y'all kept eating at the bar
and I boycott it.

Speaker 4 (22:27):
Burger that's cultural. It has to be cultural.

Speaker 5 (22:29):
I I'm sitting in my room hungry as hell, and
y'all are downstairs eating a burger.

Speaker 3 (22:35):
Now.

Speaker 5 (22:35):
I told y'all about, by the way, I told y'all
about how dope the smitschburger was.

Speaker 4 (22:41):
I boycott for you and y'all down there eating it
at the bar.

Speaker 3 (22:45):
I'll never forget we crossed the picket line.

Speaker 5 (22:48):
That's crazy.

Speaker 3 (22:50):
You you were striking.

Speaker 4 (22:51):
I was upstairs hungry as he did it. He bore disguised.
That's crazy.

Speaker 3 (22:55):
Man walking by were sunglass hat?

Speaker 4 (23:01):
So far do you think LaVar is gonna come walking by?
Brady say? You know this burger shore is good day?

Speaker 5 (23:08):
I'm up there hungry or didn't hell stomach burning everything?

Speaker 3 (23:13):
He was like, hey, man, take it under the brown bag.
Save beer.

Speaker 5 (23:18):
That's crazy.

Speaker 4 (23:19):
The same beer, Mystery beer. It's the same beer.

Speaker 3 (23:23):
Was the same.

Speaker 6 (23:25):
The first night he did it, our boss, scotch Shapiro
was sitting there at the restaurant bar and Scott looks
at him and leaves like. Scott's like, what's that. He's like, oh,
mystery beer. Guy's like what he goes, Yeah, it's for
like a dollar cheaper. They put him a surprised beer
in a brown bag, and Scott just said, okay, okay.

Speaker 4 (23:47):
Alright, Lee, okay, oh that was what he said.

Speaker 5 (23:49):
I see that is something Scott he would say to Okay,
I see you. Yeah, the little hipster hey boss. Yeah things.

Speaker 3 (24:00):
Yeah.

Speaker 4 (24:00):
Well, hopefully just don't send us any more Twitter links anymore.

Speaker 3 (24:05):
I'll never forget G and T?

Speaker 4 (24:11):
Sixteen year old kid? How do you respond to you?

Speaker 3 (24:14):
Lead?

Speaker 5 (24:14):
It was give give me the accent? How do you
say it to you? How do you respond?

Speaker 4 (24:18):
He was a deer in the headlights. And the funny
thing is I'd never say G a T.

Speaker 9 (24:22):
I was like trying to keep it under my breath
because it was a silent moment in the in the
conference hall, so I didn't want to be loud with
my order.

Speaker 4 (24:29):
So I was just going to be like, can I
get Can I get?

Speaker 2 (24:32):
Get?

Speaker 5 (24:33):
G and T? They were saying prayer.

Speaker 6 (24:35):
They also had so they also had a bunch of
drinks already out. So it's kind of like when you
go to a wedding or something like that, to where
the like, where were you at? It was at this
uh yeah, and so they had all these drinks already out,
and so the thought is when you see that, you go,

(24:56):
I'll just have one of these. Like when we were
at Houston for the O'Reilly's conference, like they had some
drinks already out, so people wanted to drink they could have,
you know something there, And so instead of leave seeing
all the other drinks that they had already made, he
walks up and.

Speaker 9 (25:12):
Goes hold the G and T old the everyone I
was getting drinks for everybody. Everybody wanted a fresh poored Guinness.
So I poured those out and those were there, but
no they weren't. You had to get the fresh poored one.
And I always hate asking for it if people are
busy because it takes forever.

Speaker 4 (25:28):
And so I was just like, you can I get
a G and T.

Speaker 9 (25:32):
In Ireland. You could be a bartender at like sixteen
years old. So it's like just the high school kid
didn't know what I was talking about.

Speaker 4 (25:40):
Huh, how old were you?

Speaker 6 (25:41):
And you knew it at G and T Wasley g.

Speaker 4 (25:43):
And T's when I probably sixteen years old.

Speaker 5 (25:48):
Carol Mom told them all about it.

Speaker 4 (25:50):
Uncle Pete Happy. That was Carol Mom's special water. What's that,
Carol Mom?

Speaker 3 (26:00):
That's what Lee was baptized in Lee was baptized.

Speaker 4 (26:05):
No, cam always just had water with a lemon in
it as well. I always thought it was special water.
Carol Mom, by.

Speaker 6 (26:13):
The way, for those that are not familiar, Carol Mom
is Lee's grandma who died and Lee celebrated her death
by drinking her out of house and home and took
her car.

Speaker 3 (26:23):
It's just at a soup kitchen in the back of it.

Speaker 9 (26:28):
I love you, cat your care mom, all right, So.

Speaker 2 (26:37):
Art Rudy Art Rudy.

Speaker 6 (26:39):
The second he was asked at the owners meetings in
Minnesota about how much longer they plan on waiting for
Aaron Rodgers, and uh, apparently, he says, well, we'll wait
a little bit longer on Aaron Rodgers. And if you
start to look at the timeline that Albert Breer pointed

(26:59):
out yesterday where he went through the you know, the
mini camp and all that stuff and the fiasco of
going to you know, Egypt and riding camels and smoking
weed or doing whatever he was doing, he says that
Breer pointed out, look, mini camp starts next week. It
runs through June fifth. Maybe he wants to avoid all that.
So it does appear like if we're going to get

(27:22):
some actual news on Rogers. The waiting a little bit
longer would tend to line up with maybe him not
being a part of that stuff, just so he doesn't
have to deal with the blowback like he dealt with
last year.

Speaker 5 (27:33):
Can I ask this question and he can't wait three days?

Speaker 3 (27:36):
Fy? So they've got OTAs now most likely then mini
camp comes after.

Speaker 5 (27:40):
Does that cause any friction with the veterans of the
Steelers if he were to come after the mini camps?

Speaker 3 (27:50):
I bet some of those guys already know, they're.

Speaker 5 (27:53):
Already aware of when he's coming. Yeah, that would be
the wisest approach to it, right, Yeah, Okay, I could
see that.

Speaker 3 (28:02):
That's my guess.

Speaker 5 (28:03):
I would I would tend to agree with you on that.
I would tend to agree that he's reached out to
guys I can't well, I'm coach Tomlin or somebody, you know,
the GM, somebody spoke to the vets. Yeah, which, by
the way, the general media or the general public, I
should say, is interesting. After our conversation about Brian Schottenheimer

(28:24):
and moving the lockers, they clearly don't understand what the
value of a veteran is. Clearly no no understanding whatsoever.
Very little. Well, just just based upon the responses. You know,
I go through social media, I'll be making time time. Yeah,
I make time to go.

Speaker 3 (28:44):
Read it makes time.

Speaker 5 (28:45):
I make time for it. But they clearly don't understand
the value of the vet veteran presence and leadership of
a locker room and of a team. I don't know
how it works and in the real world in terms
of like because there were a lot of cubic because
we did bring up you brought up cubicle, which made
I guess it made it okay for cubical warriors to

(29:08):
jump into the conversation. But the way it sounds, yeah,
but they're not veterans in an NFL locker room, and
and it's clear that they don't get it. So I
just figured I'd take the moment to address it.

Speaker 4 (29:22):
I get it.

Speaker 6 (29:23):
How do I get it?

Speaker 5 (29:24):
Since it presented the opportunity presented itself to to take
a shot at you and the cubicle warriors, I just
figured I, okay, but.

Speaker 6 (29:31):
Wait a second. Okay, So when the discussion was had
about Brian Schottenheimer moving lockers around, and you guys were
pointing out that listen, that's that's like you're home away
from home. That's your space.

Speaker 4 (29:42):
No, it's for some people, Yes, for some like if
you've been there for years.

Speaker 6 (29:46):
I totally understood why that would bother some people.

Speaker 5 (29:49):
Well, it's just unnecessary without again back to the original
point of the question of what this bother the Vets.
If Aaron Rodgers chose to all the way up until
like let's just say, training camp to sign, which is
a very long term.

Speaker 3 (30:05):
Now anyway, let me ask this though, I mean, far
of you used to do the same thing. I didn't.
End of his career.

Speaker 8 (30:11):
Yeah, and I don't remember anyone had to get issue
with it. Like I remember when far joined the Minnesota Vikings.

Speaker 3 (30:17):
He got there late to camp. We opened the season
back in nine with him, and it was like a
whole fanfare thing. There's a bunch of Vikings fans who
came to Cleveland for that game just to see him.

Speaker 8 (30:28):
No one gave a rip like are people going to
be that upset? Who are Steelers fans or the play?
I just I think they'll be excited to have them.
I mean, the alternative is not very bright then for Pittsburgh.
If Rogers doesn't have to end up signing, I think
there'll be an announcement he'll it'll be made somewhere in
June once they get past the mandatory mini camp, and

(30:49):
he'll be prepared to tune it up and then get
into training camp fulgo. That's why I think this is
all work out. So sometime after June fifth, to the
start of their training camp.

Speaker 6 (30:59):
I have a I have a source who has just
reached out to me who can confirm that Rogers has
been training out here in southern California all this week
in and around Westlake Village.

Speaker 5 (31:12):
I feel like the comparison with FARV is I mean,
if the coverage, the amount of first of all, the
negativity of social media for one, but then the oversaturation
of coverage of something one thing in particular at times,
is would be the difference. I think with FARV that

(31:33):
he had the benefit of it not being being such
a overly covered deal.

Speaker 4 (31:41):
It was as overly covered as it could be with.

Speaker 5 (31:44):
That form of media back then. But the way things
are now and how quickly information travels now, and the
way people put things out now, it's way more intensified
on the scrutiny. It's way more intensified on the criticism.
It's just so much more Now, well, I think Aaron.

Speaker 8 (32:04):
Rodgers is more polarizing. I don't think Brett Farv and
you guys can correct me if I'm wrong. I mean,
he was very beloved where people they resonated with him.
They loved him and the way he played, the joy
which he played. Now, I understand there's a lot of
stuff that's obviously have post career, but I'm just saying
as far as the player, back then, there was an
excitement that was like, oh man.

Speaker 3 (32:25):
That's just the easiest guy to root for, right.

Speaker 8 (32:27):
I mean, there's a lot of things that became public,
whether it was his father passing, you know, playing after
that game, the game he had that night.

Speaker 3 (32:34):
I'll never forget that.

Speaker 8 (32:36):
There's just there's a lot of things where I think
people tended to kind of cling to him and just
had this love for for him and in the way
in which he played.

Speaker 3 (32:43):
So I think it was a little different too, like
they were giving him the benefit of the doubt.

Speaker 8 (32:47):
I don't know that a lot of people give Aaron
Rodgers as much of a benefit of the doubt, especially
depending on, you know, some of the past stuff he's
said and done, how people feel about it.

Speaker 6 (32:56):
Even when Farv had his issue with pills where he
like he'd had to go to rehab like during his career,
he like nothing but support, you know, encouragement. You know,
everybody loved the guy Rogers. You know, he didn't want
to take anything and has not heard the end of it,
uh since uh, since that all happened. So you know, hopefully, uh,

(33:18):
we'll get an answer soon. But it does appear like
we are closing in on that that Rogers is going
to be in Pittsburgh, just like LeVar has been asking
for for weeks and weeks and weeks and months now.

Speaker 5 (33:29):
That is that what I've been doing, That's what I've heard.
I'm more I'm more interested in Scott Dixon going to uh,
you know, to Pittsburgh to play Get.

Speaker 10 (33:43):
My name, my driver's name out your mouth, Get it out,
get it. I don't want it to get name out
your mouth, especially that one. I do not want Scott
Dixon's my mouth.

Speaker 3 (33:57):
You get my driver's name out your mouth.

Speaker 4 (34:00):
I don't want it.

Speaker 6 (34:01):

or more from their home over Memorial Day weekend as
we celebrate our heroes. They say, yeah again, over forty
five million, more than one point five million more than
they had last year record numbers. So just stay safe
on the roads as we h as we do what

(36:20):
we do on Memorial Day weekend. Listening to Jimmy Buffett.

Speaker 3 (36:22):
On the way, all right, buddy, what Is that what

Go get it myself a bloody Go watch some Mission Impossible,
The Final Reckoning, The Final Mission Impossible movie. I've been
powering my way through kind of rewatching.

Speaker 3 (36:40):
Does this day really differ though? For you?

Speaker 8 (36:41):
I feel like you're starting off with the bloody Mary
is probably more common than not. You know, well, I
don't think you need Memorial Day weekend to do that.

Speaker 4 (36:48):
No, of course not. It's a Friday, so you know,
Memorial Day weekend will be a different thing.

Speaker 3 (36:51):
It could be a Tuesday.

Speaker 6 (36:53):
Well maybe, yeah, like holidays, But what does that matter.

Speaker 9 (36:59):
Well, I'm just saying, and other people are going to
be doing that, so I'm just saying, be safe out there,
enjoy your bloody Mary, and drive safe out there while
you listen to some Jimmy Buffett.

Speaker 5 (37:09):
No, look at it. I'll just they just let anybody
in this building right now, just walk through.

Speaker 6 (37:16):
Is that what that smell is?

Speaker 4 (37:17):
Oh?

Speaker 3 (37:18):
Wow?

Speaker 4 (37:19):
Okay, speaking of smell, I have good news and bad news.
What do you guys want? First?

Speaker 5 (37:25):
Give them?

Speaker 4 (37:26):
I can get the bad news. Out of the way
real quick.

Speaker 9 (37:28):
Up two headlines that are on the local news within
the last few minutes. Cancer deaths due to alcohol are
on the rise, So we'll get that out of the way.
But good news, farting can help reduce high blood pressure
and improve your health.

Speaker 4 (37:40):
Good news.

Speaker 5 (37:43):
Hole in the studio room, in the control room.

Speaker 4 (37:46):
It's very fitting as Iowa Sam.

Speaker 5 (37:50):
Look, look there's check.

Speaker 6 (37:59):
Speaking of when how would you even find those articles
or do they know you?

Speaker 5 (38:03):
And that's your algorithm is definitely flatulence driven, alcoholism and farting.

Speaker 4 (38:08):
They're on our local news right in front of us.
But yes, also that I know they ain't right right now,
They're not not at all. Yeah, and guys, I don't
know sold this.

Speaker 9 (38:17):
This is kind of an in case you missed it,
but uh, we had a big foot sighting earlier this
week in Michigan Edward Henry and right now.

Speaker 4 (38:26):
Yeah, yeah, what do you mean?

Speaker 6 (38:28):
Wasn't that Todd's date?

Speaker 4 (38:30):
Yeah?

Speaker 9 (38:31):
This is on the official Bigfoot Field Researchers organization. Edward
Henry and his twelve year old son Rob bow hunting
and spotted a primate hunting that was going after a
herd of deer.

Speaker 6 (38:44):
Okay, Bigfoot's not real. Just so people, this and this
has gotta stop because you're ruining legitimate conspiracy theories with
crap like this.

Speaker 5 (38:53):
Todd's got to get his air checked out because he
had the encounter.

Speaker 6 (38:56):
Huha, that is big father. There's a bigfoot siding. What
do you mean there's a bigfoot sighting? The official was
hunting cariboo And where was this at?

Speaker 4 (39:08):
And I was in Monroe, Michigan, which is between Toledo
and Detroit.

Speaker 5 (39:11):
Yeah, they're bored. They ain't got nothing better to do
with their time to do.

Speaker 4 (39:15):
That anyways, everybody out there, enjoy your weekend. Man, wait,

Speaker 5 (39:20):
