Fox college football analysts at the Old p And he's
a man who at nine am local time this past Saturday,
was on the call and doing a tremendous job there
(01:55):
in Cincinnati. I don't know if he had a chance
to take in any of the skyline chili, but the
performance was excellent. I texted him to let him know,
and it was nice to hear Petros, the one and
only Petros Papa Pee, what's happening?

Petros, thank you.

the co host of the Petros and Money Show, which
you can hear on the Blowtorch Fox Sports or AM
five to seventy LA Sports here on Fox Sports Radio.
An a Fox College football analyst, by the way, on
the call bright and early this past Saturday in Cincinnati, Petros,
good morning.
Speaker 3 (03:18):
Good morning, hello everybody.
Speaker 4 (03:19):
Hey Petros, listen, I gave you a call. Let you
know how well you did on the call and Cincinnati.
I was just curious, did you get an opportunity to
try to skyline Chili? Did you get it to enjoyed
the flats like Brady?
Speaker 3 (03:32):
It was right about.
Speaker 7 (03:34):
The nip Well that's Cleveland. The NIP is rocking. Yeah,
the NIP was a great timey knit and stadium.
Speaker 3 (03:42):
I didn't know that.
Speaker 7 (03:43):
It was such a special place. I really did nineteen
fifteen in one of the oldest stadiums in the world,
and I enjoyed that.
Speaker 3 (03:54):
I really did.
Speaker 7 (03:54):
Actually, and we went to uh we didn't go the
Skyline Chili. Every time I mention in Skyline Chili, somebody
sends me like a palette of it, which I don't want.
I would have gone to the place, but I went
to mc cronin. I went to the Montgomery Inn. Okay, yeah,
(04:14):
that's what big giant rib place. Mick Cronin told me
to go there.
Speaker 3 (04:20):
Yeah.
Speaker 7 (04:21):
Andrews Ula basketball coach. They had a picture at the
at the Montgomery end of the Reds. You know the
Reds I think are like the oldest baseball team and
really yeah, and they were doing their spring training in
the nineteen twenties, which is like around the end of
(04:44):
the Hatfield and McCoy the conflict in West Virginia.
Speaker 3 (04:50):
They were having their spring training.
Speaker 4 (04:51):
I sti't know about the hat Fields and the McCoys
bro well, they made some TV shows about it.
Speaker 7 (04:57):
Though there was every player in the picture of the
spring training in the twenties was wearing a pistol. That's
crazy with their baseball uniform because the Hatfield and McCoy's
would shoot at each other and it would get too
close to the field the spring training baseball diamond. So
(05:22):
the Reds players would just shoot their pistols in the
air and the hat Field and McCoy's would know to
move their fighting from a baseball dive.
Speaker 4 (05:31):
So gang fights didn't start in Compton. They were in
West Virginia.
Speaker 1 (05:37):
Now batting Clinton.
Speaker 7 (05:39):
You could say the gang fights, you know, started a
long time before the Peloponnesian Wars with the Greek city states,
you know, going after each other like Sparta versus Syracuse. Sure,
stuff like that anyway, a lot like college football of today.
Speaker 4 (05:58):
How about that.
Speaker 7 (05:59):
I had a good time in Cincinnati, they were there.
Rankings are good, man, Yeah, they have a really good
underrated quarterback in Brendan Swords and some tough running backs.
Speaker 4 (06:11):
College football good playoff, college football playoff good.
Speaker 7 (06:16):
Well, they're one of the better teams. I mean, they
have they have a great o line and they have
a good quarterback. So defensively they kind of hang in there.
But I mean, if you look at the Big Twelve,
there's them, there's Texas Tech, and there's BYU.
Speaker 3 (06:33):
Right now.
Speaker 7 (06:34):
I know they lost their opener to Nebraska, but they've
beaten some pretty good quarterbacks. Daniels Rocco backed. Uh So,
we'll we'll see, we'll see. But but they're one of
the better teams in the Big twelve and I wouldn't
be surprised if they're right there.
Speaker 3 (06:48):
At the end.
Speaker 5 (06:49):
Petros, what do you think of Scott Sadderfield? Is he
kind of flying to the radar to you?
Speaker 3 (06:53):
Is it coming to get him? Right? I mean, he lost.
Speaker 7 (06:58):
I think they they had a pretty good record last
year sometime around this time of year, and then they.
Speaker 3 (07:03):
Lost all their games. And I like him.
Speaker 7 (07:07):
He's a real straightforward guy, and I think that he's
doing a great job. And they really kind of longed
and pined for Luke Fickle for a long time and
now he's at Wisconsin and having a really tough time.
I like Sadderfield and I liked his staff, and they're
appy state guys, you know, so good for them.
Speaker 3 (07:29):
And I enjoyed Cincinnati.
Speaker 7 (07:31):
Was a great great I didn't know it was like
you know, the South, you know, you're in Kentucky when
you fly in and you go over the Ohio River.
Speaker 3 (07:41):
But I did enjoy it.
Speaker 7 (07:42):
This week, I have two games, so i'll be back
to back here in LA. We have a really good
one in UNLV versus Boise, which great.
Speaker 5 (07:53):
Mountain West by the way, Like UNLV has been kind
of like playing it close to the vest all year long.
Speaker 3 (07:59):
You think this is the one we'll see.
Speaker 7 (08:01):
I mean, they haven't beaten Boise in like fifty years,
but Boise is like they're good, but they're at the
aftermath of the Ashton genty era, so it's kind of
like after Kellen Moore left. You know, it's like where
where does the playmaking come from? And they have a
lot of good players. But we'll see. UNLV just gave
(08:22):
up like fifty points to air Force and one. But
Dan Mullen's doing a great job there and I thought
he would when I met with him over the summer.
So that'll be like it was last year, one of
the premiere games all year in the Mountain West. So
a lot of work this week with the Dodgers going
as well and a lot going on, but it's lovely
(08:45):
to be together and you know the Dodgers have a
morning show that comes on in La on the Blowtorch. Yeah,
right after you guys, Tim Kates and Steve Sachs.
Speaker 4 (08:56):
Glad they wait for us to be finished.
Speaker 7 (08:58):
Yeah, they cover Dan Patrick. It's called Sacks and Kate's
in the am scam.
Speaker 4 (09:05):
Yeah, Sam, Hey, speaking of scams, is USC the real
deal or are they? H No, Well, I mean we
were a scam, so, I mean, I don't feel I'm
just saying, you guys are doing really well right now,
like you're on top of the big ten. I mean,
you got two teams that hit Indiana and Ohio State
and then there's USC. Would you expected you guys to
(09:28):
have been where you guys are right now?
Speaker 7 (09:31):
I didn't think. I wasn't surprised that they beat Michigan.
You know, as hard as it is to get into
playe and go all the way to the east and
play in some big stadium and a foreign place like
going to Happy Valley or going anywhere, it's hard to
(09:52):
fly to the West coast and play in the coliseum
or the Rose Bowl.
Speaker 3 (09:55):
I mean, Penn State proved that.
Speaker 7 (09:57):
You might say that Penn State has lost now three
different times to Oregon and that Oregon game took a
lot out of a lot of people, Oregon included, But
I mean, I think when us he goes on the road,
that will really tell the tale. I wasn't surprised that
they beat Michigan. I thought Underwood was pretty underwhelming in
(10:22):
the game. But they're certainly improved from last year and
that can't be argued. But your real bones when you're
a college football team in the Big Ten or the
SEC or the Big twelve that we started talking about,
those things are all.
Speaker 3 (10:39):
Predicated on November.
Speaker 7 (10:41):
And when november's here, we'll see what USC can do.
I mean, Illinois ran them over on offense, and if
they get on the road and they're not playing that
same kind of defense, I wouldn't be surprised. But they're
certainly improved. It was great they had that walk on
running back go off and have one hundred and fifty
(11:03):
Yeah Michigan kid from Calabasas the.
Speaker 3 (11:10):
Yeah, so that was cool.
Speaker 4 (11:12):
What's his name?
Speaker 3 (11:14):
Okay? King King Baxter?
Speaker 4 (11:20):
All right?
Speaker 8 (11:21):
So, uh, I don't know if I don't know if
they're a scam, but I don't know if they're if
they're a legit contender either.
Speaker 4 (11:32):
I mean they have team this weekend. I mean does that?
Does that go any So?
Speaker 5 (11:38):
So two things on what LeVar is saying here, do
you think this, this rivalry will will get extended? Like
if you had to place a bet right now, well it.
Speaker 7 (11:47):
Better because if it doesn't, I don't want to do
this job anymore, honestly. Like it's the dumbest that that
we're not going to have USC Notre Dame because Lincoln
Riley's not into it, Like who cares who Lincoln Riley is?
And the grand scheme of things. After one hundred years,
of one hundred plus years of this rivalry that was
(12:08):
played through world wars and all kinds of strife, it's
not going to be able to survive USC's realignment when
they're the ones that decided to go to the Big
ten and blow up the Pac twelve as we knew it,
which was a great conference, no doubt about it, with
a terrible commissioner that made terrible decisions and here we are.
(12:31):
But yeah, I'd have a real catatonic like problem if
this does not get extended. And I think it should
be played the way it's played.
Speaker 3 (12:44):
In the odd years out in.
Speaker 7 (12:46):
South Bend while the leaves are changing as it was
meant to be, so Howard Jones' wife, the USC coach
can see the leaves and on the even years out
in Los Angeles for the Thanksgiving weekend so Newt Rockney's
wife could visit her West Coast relatives. And it's total
horse crap. If they don't continue it, it's cowardly and weak.
(13:10):
And I know Notre Dame is not behind it. I
know it's a USC thing and it makes me sick.
But it's going to be tough for USC out in
South Bend like it always is, because they might just
get socked right in the head and pushed off the ball.
And even though it's not a big ten game, you
know you're playing a big ten style team and it
(13:32):
could tell the tale for what the future holds.
Speaker 5 (13:35):
So that being said, because you know, I kind of
look at this game, what's obvious is that it's an
elimination game for Notre Dame if they have any hopes
of playing the College ball playoff. Like we know that
they have no margin for air for SC. Though to
that point of what you just said, it's not a
big ten game.
Speaker 4 (13:53):
Even if they.
Speaker 5 (13:54):
Drop this, technically they only have one loss in Big
Ten play. However, they do have a tough schedule head
right stuff to playing Nebraska, who's I don't really know
how good they are. I guess we'll find out. Oregon
obviously will be tough and they've got to play them still,
so they're still a tough road ahead if they do
lose this game. And let's just say, like, I don't
(14:14):
think they're gonna beat Oregon. I think they play that
up in Eugene as well. At some point, is there
like a hot seat from Lincoln Riley, Like do they
look at where this program's at.
Speaker 7 (14:24):
It's the same as the I mean, Lincoln Riley, you
have to understand, would have been fired already if it
wasn't for his buyout. I mean, if you look at
what has happened since Caleb Williams first year at USC,
any other blue blood coach, and you just saw it
happen with Penn State, I mean sixteen days ago. James
(14:46):
Franklin was one of the best coaches in college football
coach and one of the best teams, and now he's fired.
So things could happen fast. And that's because somebody in
Franklin's case, bar would know but the rumors on the
internet were that Adidas is the one that stepped up
and bought him out. Somebody's got to step up and
(15:08):
buy the guy out, and I don't know if there's
anybody willing to do that right now at the USC situation.
I mean, it happened with Deshaun Foster be to be fair,
the buyout was a lot less, but somebody got sick
to their stomach after they lost to New Mexico and
stepped up and bought them out, So I.
Speaker 3 (15:31):
Could see it happening. But I mean it's it's.
Speaker 7 (15:35):
It's like ninety million dollars or you know, to get
and then you have to hire somebody new. So I
think you're absolutely right. If us he was a real
blue blood number one, they wouldn't be acting like they
can't play against Notre Dame, and number two they'd have
bought out Lincoln Riley last year. So I mean, essentially,
(15:57):
I think every week he's coaching for his job, but
I don't know who's gonna come through with the money and.
Speaker 3 (16:01):
Pay for the guy.
Speaker 1 (16:03):
Petros Pambadegas joining us here on Fox Sports Radio. Let's
talk about the real team of La the damn Bruins. Yeah,
they're a game out in the Big ten. Okay, the
Bruins are a rocket ship and they can't be stopped.
How proud are you of what's going on there at
the Rose Bowl deeply in front of like forty five people.
Speaker 7 (16:24):
Hey, they're gonna get more, right, I mean they're gonna
get at least ninety now on that double up, I do.
I think I might have made this point last week,
but I'll make it again. Jerry new Eisal's doing a
great job and I'm happy for him. And I think
(16:46):
it's a cool story because Rick is Rick's coming on
our show today. But Tim Skipper is the head coach.
Tim Skipper is the guy that took over ran off
both coordinators, that changed.
Speaker 3 (17:02):
The outlook of this team.
Speaker 7 (17:04):
And I mean I had a really good UCLA rider
on the guy who's in like a mortal battle right
now in the newspaper with Martin Jarmin, the athletic director
Ben Boltch, and we were talking legitimately about right before
the Penn State game, UCLA is probably not going to
win another game this year after they had lost to Northwestern.
(17:27):
Then they go out, Yeah, absolutely wrong. And I think
it's Tim Skipper. I met him last year. He was
he was the interim coach for Fresno because Jeff Tedford,
who we all love, got sick and was not healthy
enough to be the head coach at Fresno. And Tim,
(17:49):
I mean, he was the interim and he did a
pretty good job. And he knows what the job is
and he knows the right tone to take with the players.
And if you don't think coaching Matt and you don't
think a head coach and his personality sets the tone
for an entire program, you.
Speaker 3 (18:08):
Should watch Skipper.
Speaker 7 (18:10):
I watched his first press conference at UCLA and the
media access he gave and just his tone and he
said something exactly like that.
Speaker 3 (18:20):
He said, you know, y'all can call me Skip. I'm Skipped.
That's cool, you know. I mean, it was just great,
and I.
Speaker 7 (18:25):
Think it was so refreshing that these guys started playing
inspired football. And it's not a walkover game anymore for
anybody that's got UCLA on the schedule. I don't know
if they're gonna win out, but they certainly are improved
that it saved the Nico I Amaliava narrative didn't it,
So I'm happy for them.
Speaker 3 (18:46):
And it's a great story here in LA. We got
a lot going on right now.
Speaker 7 (18:51):
Don't you know? Pump it up? You Up? Don't you know?
Pump it up? They played that in Cincinnati every time
between every play. It's like the song they play when
the Reds hit a home run. Don't you know?
Speaker 4 (19:09):
I love that? Your supportive Q like this was this.
Speaker 5 (19:12):
Was my kids love that song. My daughters when were
driving to school, they're like.
Speaker 3 (19:17):
Hey, Daddy, can you play pop up up songs?
Speaker 5 (19:19):
I'm like, imagine, imagine a nine, seven and five year
old just all jacked out of their mind getting on
of the car, their fist, the bags are waving, the
lady who opens the cars like, good God, what happened
in here? I'd bet it's something Petros. We haven't talked
about the James Franklin firing. No, just thoughts on it,
(19:44):
like how you viewed it from Afar and just where
they go next from Afar.
Speaker 3 (19:48):
I mean you kind of have the opinion.
Speaker 7 (19:50):
I heard the guy that had this show previously before
he went on to make millions, Clay Travis said yes,
since that's something to the effect of, you know, why
would you do this? I mean, look at this guy's
winning percentage, and who are you going to hire that's better,
and so on and so forth. This is one of
(20:12):
the winningest coaches that's going right now, and that's all
fine and good. But whenever you're inside a program, things
can wear thin, and a person can wear thin.
Speaker 3 (20:27):
And maybe that's what's happened. I don't know.
Speaker 7 (20:29):
I'm not you know, I'm not there, and I don't
know Franklin. Well, I haven't had great dealings with him
in the past, but not bad ones either, But I
think he probably wore them out to a certain degree
and they became frustrated with his inability to win the
big game. I mean, it's a little bit like if
(20:52):
Oklahoma turned around and fired Bob Stoops right when he
was coaching there and wasn't winning big games. But that
would never happened. It would have been unimaginable because Bob
Stoops was such a great guy. It seems I don't
know if James Franklin, I don't know how he treated
everybody at Penn State.
Speaker 3 (21:11):
I don't know what happened behind the scenes.
Speaker 7 (21:14):
Yeah, So, I mean, I don't know, but from afar,
it seems like, wow, well, who else are you going
to get up close. It's like maybe maybe they were
just tired of it and they want somebody else's voice
in there. It's certainly not not a cheap move to make,
but it's just crazy that literally, you know, less than
(21:38):
three weeks ago we're speaking with reverence about Penn State,
and now all of a sudden, after a really tough
game at home, the whole thing collapsed.
Speaker 3 (21:50):
And it can happen.
Speaker 7 (21:52):
But that's one of the more shocking turnarounds in October
that we've ever seen.
Speaker 4 (21:57):
I got one last question for you. You've multiplied in
lizards in the house. Correct, Yeah, we have.
Speaker 3 (22:05):
Three now, but two of them are my daughters, you know.
Speaker 4 (22:08):
Okay, she takes care of My daughter is wearing me out.
Speaker 3 (22:13):
Yeah.
Speaker 4 (22:13):
It's tough to get a lizard, and I don't want
any parts of it. I don't want no crickets or
roaches or anything. And mind I don't have to.
Speaker 7 (22:24):
You know, you can get like a gecko. That's what
my daughter has, like crested geckos.
Speaker 4 (22:30):
Okay, what's it?
Speaker 7 (22:32):
Yeah, exactly like it looks like that too, like the
same shaped head, not that color. And there's leopard geckos.
There's different and they are more like a beginner lizard
than you know, the big bearded dragon.
Speaker 4 (22:46):
Okay, but like what you have, I have a bearded dragon.
How big has your bearded dragon got?
Speaker 3 (22:52):
She's big. She's very matronly.
Speaker 4 (22:55):
Like big as in like the size of your hand,
big as in the size of the forearm.
Speaker 7 (22:59):
Big is like, yeah, she's probably longer like with the tail.
Speaker 3 (23:02):
She's probably a huge bitch. Yeah, she's a big, big bit.
Speaker 4 (23:09):
So I shouldn't get her a bearded dragon.
Speaker 7 (23:11):
Well you could, but you know, the bearded dragon is
more of my daughter, who is just a whirlwind pyramid
of of of she's confounding. But my daughter is a
lizard expert. She's watched i don't know, hundreds of hours
of YouTube instructional videos about all kinds of different lizards.
(23:34):
So if you're interested, we can help. The geckos eat
very very unoffensive small meal worms and little things like that.
You can feed a bearded dragon like a little mouse.
I think they'd eat. Yeah, but they eat like they
eat worms and crickets and vegetables. I just feed mine worms.
Speaker 4 (23:57):
She's so fat, but not enough exercise.
Speaker 3 (24:02):
I think the cage is she just got too big.
Speaker 7 (24:04):
I have to get her a new terrarium for the
I'm gonna for Christmas, I'll get myself a new terrarium
for the bear to dragon.
Speaker 3 (24:11):
That's my plan with all the big football.
Speaker 4 (24:13):
Money I make. Okay, nice, all right, well.
Speaker 7 (24:16):
So but yeah, if you need I can. Actually I'll
leave Kelli over there. You could just talk to her
for she'll she'll talk to you for the rest of
your life.
Speaker 4 (24:26):
How old is she?
Speaker 3 (24:27):
My daughter is ten, but you know you wouldn't know.
Speaker 4 (24:30):
You know, my daughter needs a friend and she's ten,
So I think we made a friend connection on air.
Speaker 1 (24:35):
Peter, I'll her over.
Speaker 3 (24:36):
If you want a lizard consule take.
Speaker 1 (24:39):
Let's do it, Pete. Does she still wear the breathe
right strips on her nose?
Speaker 7 (24:42):
She stopped with the breathe rights? But she has many
many unexplainable habits.
Speaker 1 (24:48):
All right, well listen.
Speaker 4 (24:51):
Uh maybe she'll.
Speaker 3 (24:53):
Say something to my wife and I'll say like, hey,
but what about this you.
Speaker 4 (24:56):
I wasn't talking to you. Maybe we'll come see your
lizards first. How about that? Maybe you've got a swerve
huh uh there is uh.
Speaker 1 (25:07):
Petriss Papavegas the co host of the Petros and Money Show,
which you can hear on the blowtorch AM five to
seventy LA Sports Fox college football analysts get them on
X at the oldp and maybe this time next week
we'll be talking about the do Yers in the World Series.
Speaker 3 (25:21):
So Dodgers, what about that starting pitching? Good luck?
Speaker 1 (25:24):
Oh yeah, all right, thanks peple, We'll do it.
Speaker 4 (25:28):
Thanks brothers.

(28:44):
I don't know.
Speaker 4 (28:46):
Are we live on YouTube? Doubt it? It's not our
time slot.
Speaker 1 (28:52):
By the way, uh, for what it's worth. Ben Roethlisberger
says the Steelers should not be playing at Akroshuer Stadium
with the field condition show behind. Well, just not a
big fan of the field field conditions.
Speaker 5 (29:05):
What does that mean.
Speaker 4 (29:08):
That field gets tore up.
Speaker 5 (29:10):
This well, yeah, because I know they're playing college.
Speaker 4 (29:13):
N NFL there, but some football on there.
Speaker 5 (29:15):
They're not to the point where they have the high
school there too, right, don't they play the high school?
Speaker 4 (29:19):
It comes up as state championship, Whippy Old Championship, not
state Whippio. State is in Hershey now I believe it
used to be in Altuna, but yeah, I mean they
do play a lot of games on it. Come Whippy
Old time.
Speaker 5 (29:37):
You know all the levels of Hershey's a cool place,
by the way, I gotta get over there. I've got
a former teammates over there, and we keep talking about
getting the families together.
Speaker 4 (29:47):
But a beautiful place to take your family. Man, Seriously,
I just love how you can smell the chocolate. You
can't it's in the air. And if you stay at
the one of their hotels, like it's like a music
like you can just walk down the hallways. Yeah, it's
like some pretty cool stuff, Like you just walk down
the hallways has like pictures and stuff from and like
(30:08):
stories connected to each what what like?
Speaker 1 (30:11):
What is there to see at a Hershey's museum. It's
a bar of chocolate. Cool and go see that at
a seven eleven.
Speaker 4 (30:17):
Well, for for Q, see, since you said what you said,
I'll make sure they don't take care of you. But
for someone like u Q, if you showed up, they
like literally have a basket, like a gift basket of
like all the all of the Hrshey's like products that
they produce and all that stuff like that, have it
waiting there right for you in the room line. It's
pretty cool. Keep it's fine. I'll go to the We're
(30:40):
I'll go to the They have a lodge. And if
you go, like when it's like cooler out, like it's
cool to go in the summer because you can go
right to the park. The theme park is pretty dope.
But if you go when it's cooler out, their lodge
is pretty cool. Man. Like, they got one of the
biggest fireplace. You remember that picture I posted the one
time where I was in front of that big fireplace.
(31:02):
I was hurt. Yeah, I just sat there, went to sleep,
woke up like a big gass fire pit.
Speaker 1 (31:08):
I mean, if we're being fair, though, you did also
sleep in uh at the hotel in Fort Lauderdale as
well too, I did.
Speaker 5 (31:16):
I love how much of a homebody you are, Like
you just love snuggling up at home and man.
Speaker 4 (31:21):
Yeah, yeah, that's that's fun for me. I was knocked
out bright. I mean that the security was so upset
with me. We come downstairs upset.
Speaker 1 (31:30):
And I see this guy sleeping on the lobby but crack.
I felt my butt crack out everything bad and I
walked it. I'm like, I'm like, who is this?
Speaker 4 (31:40):
Somebody just sleeping.
Speaker 1 (31:41):
Leather pants, leather boots, Like the only reason I knew
it was used because I saw the linebacker you chase.
Speaker 4 (31:48):
I was like, we that was I just didn't want
to miss the show. Like, for what it's worth, I
overdid it in Florida. Yeah, I overdid it.
Speaker 5 (32:00):
That was when you had that shuffle going, you had
that old man's shuffle.
Speaker 4 (32:03):
Well, I was hurting. I definitely was hurting. I overdid it,
and I didn't want to be late for the show,
so I went to where the show was. There you go,
didn't even wash your hands, did nothing nothing. Can you
get into can you get into a topic? I did
(32:24):
not think you're gonna he is a freaking dirt ball
brod do a topic?
Speaker 3 (32:31):
Son of them?
Speaker 4 (32:32):
Do a topic? Can't can't even joke around with you,
bro man, I'll do a topic quickly to a top.
I'll take over here. Kevin O'Connell, thank you. It's not
ready to name a starter yet his hanky either.
Speaker 5 (32:46):
Should we read into that? In regards to jaj McCarthy,
is this just more of like he's not quite healthy yet?
Is it the fact that Wentz has been playing pretty well? Like,
how would you guys view that?
Speaker 1 (32:59):
I don't think they're there's a lot of confidence in ja.
Speaker 3 (33:01):
Yeah.
Speaker 4 (33:02):
I don't think you want to disrupt what you got
going on because he's been there. You know how many
games he's has He started with two games. I think
it's two games he started, and he got hurt in
the Atlanta game, which is week two, and so already
you know, a year plus in only two games started.
He was out for the year with an injury last year,
(33:23):
now he's injured again this year. Yeah, you got to
read into it a little bit more.
Speaker 1 (33:27):
Kind of like, uh, you have to got a little
Anthony Richardson too. It durability already an issue, not the
body of work to know is durability of.
Speaker 5 (33:37):
The issue or is it just performance? Like are they
watching something where they're like, oh, maybe this isn't our
guy who.
Speaker 4 (33:45):
I think it's worth the conversation. I don't think the
conversation is outlandish at all today. And then that would
lend to the idea that Carson Wentz is the guy
moving forward, and then what is that which day J
McCarthy moving forward. He's playing well by the way he's
playing well.
Speaker 5 (34:04):
You know, he's two and one so far, he's completing
almost seventy percent of his passes. And again, this could
be one of those stories where we look at a
guy kind of resurrecting his career. Oh no, again, Well,
I'm I'm just saying, man, that he's going to do it.
Daniel Jones gives Daniel Jones gives a lot of credit
to his time last year in Minnesota as far as
(34:27):
how they prepared, how they studied, and how it changed,
like him as a quarterback and how he attacks weaked week.
He's bawling out who else played there last year that
played really well. Sam Darnold completely changed the trajectory of
the rest of his career. He played great, Minnesota's playing awesome. Seattle.
Kevin O'Connell is doing something right now with quarterbacks that
(34:52):
few have done, Like we talk about Kyle Shanahan. Everyone
plays well in his system, but I don't know that
we always see guys who go into the system then
leave his system and perform well elsewhere. You know, Matt Ryan,
outside of that MVP season with Kyle shannas his play caller,
was never able to get close to that.
Speaker 4 (35:10):
Again, I think when you want to reach guys, you
got to meet them where they are, you know, and
you got to be creative and think outside of the box.
I wonder if they do like film review and scouting
report at a strip club, like like let's just meet,
let's meet off site. I was just gonna say that.
I was thinking about this earlier when Q was talking
(35:32):
about you know, like hey meet me out front, twenty minutes,
don't be late. Yeah, I mean like what if what
if coach was like, hey meet me out front, twenty minutes,
don't be late, and then he takes you to do
scout report and he's got it set up in the
private room to do film review and you're doing film
(35:53):
review while you at to strip joint.
Speaker 1 (35:55):
Lloyd, how did he was representing the players.
Speaker 4 (35:57):
So that's what I'm saying. It's not it's not it's
not beyond the realm of breason. Yeah, you got treated
poorly because of it, just saying man, I mean it
couldn't you know. I wonder if he were to go there,
would he takes some hot sauce and his and his
satchel or his backpack or is his trousers, you know,
(36:19):
because when you got breast in front of you, you know,
chicken breast, that is, you can put hot sauce on them,
big big old juicy chicken breast that you're going to
have in front of you, and you might as well
use original hot sauce. Luisi had a hot sauce on
(36:42):
that peanut buttery skin of that chicken breast. The perfect
balance of peppers, vinegar and salt. You can put on nachos, burgers,
I mentioned wings. You can hit any tailgate food with it.
It's got a bold handcraft to fly. That's original Louisiana
hot sauce. That's Louisiana by you.
Speaker 1 (37:05):
So it's two pros and a cup of joe. Here
on Fox Sports Radio, we will you really do run
a monk like you can't handle it?
Speaker 4 (37:15):
Go wash your hands?
Speaker 1 (37:16):
How about that of the leftovers right here at FSR.
Speaker 2 (37:21):

a Cup of Joe with Brady Quinn, LeVar Arrington, and

Time to find out what's left Incredibles. Here's the left Over?
Speaker 1 (38:14):
Yeah, Lorena, they were playing man Eater at the dentist yesterday?
Speaker 9 (38:16):
Was my teeth made you think of me.
Speaker 4 (38:20):
In your mouth? Your mouth? Fixed your mouth, didn't Why
fix that mouth? Fix that mouth?
Speaker 1 (38:29):
Why your mouth?
Speaker 9 (38:31):
Well, speaking of pearly White, let's talk about some ghosts
over here. Dodgers player to Oscar Hernandez. While in Milwaukee,
the team was staying at the Pea Fister Hotel. Pe
Fister say that.
Speaker 4 (38:41):
Right, whoa p Fister?
Speaker 1 (38:46):
Whoa the p is silent fister?
Speaker 4 (38:50):
Okay, good, Okay, I like pee Fister better though, but
go ahead.
Speaker 9 (38:55):
Well, he didn't stay there because his wife is horribly
afraid of ghosts. Now, Hernanda says that he stayed there
a few times and he's never seen ghosts and he
doesn't believe in them. But this trip he has heard
from multiple players and their wives that something is happening
in the past couple of nights, doors opening, lights turning
on and off, eerie noises, and footsteps down the hallway.
Speaker 4 (39:16):
So what, like, let's just say for one second it's true.
Why am I going to get freaked out over you
opening the door? Why am I going to get freaked
out over you turning a faucet on? Like I'll turn
the faucet back off, or you turn it off when
you're finished. You want to open the door and close
the door your weight? Like, is that really? You got
that much idle time as a ghost to be just
(39:39):
opening and shutting doors like all the time, I feel
like we'd be having some of the dumbest types of
like antidotes and like thought processes behind something like Okay,
it's haunted. It's always the same exact things that we're
saying that are haunted until you can show me otherwise
that somebody has literally impaired you, hurt, you maimed, do
(40:00):
something like that. Other things like stop talking to me
about some water running some drippy water. I don't care, RIGHTO,
I ain't doing nothing to me. I'm gonna turn the radio.
Speaker 5 (40:14):
If we're gonna go there, go there. We were in Lawrence,
Kansas for a game. Yep, I had to say at
the Eldridge Hotel. Okay, having to be around Halloween, Okay,
and supposedly it's haunted and because of some snaff foo
with the reservation, I just stay in that damn room, okay,
all right now, I'm not gonna lie. I slept with
(40:36):
the damn TV and lights on the entire night.
Speaker 3 (40:38):
I was like, I don't know if that's or not,
but I'm about ready to find.
Speaker 4 (40:41):
Out, all right, But what if they turned the TV
off on.
Speaker 3 (40:44):
You, and I would saying some hail Mary is doing
the whole thing.
Speaker 4 (40:46):
I was just like, all.
Speaker 5 (40:47):
Right, I don't know what's gonna happen, sure as hell not.
Speaker 4 (40:51):
Being the one though that goes saying I mean, you
are a good looking dude. Maybe that ghost was worried
about you.
Speaker 6 (40:56):
He
