(01:24):
football coming up later on you got the Steelers and
you got the Bengals. Bill they'll be playing that game
in Cincinnati. But where the Steelers play is Things have
gotten a little bit interesting apparently. As we mentioned, Ben
Roethlisberger was critical yesterday of the conditions at Akroscher Stadium
(01:45):
formerly Hinzfield, and Steelers players Mike Tomlin ripped into the conditions.
This week, Chris Boswell slipped on a field goal try.
Special teams captain Miles Killebrew suffered a significant non contact
me and injury. Cam Hayward was pissed about it. There
was also a quote a source told ESPN on Wednesday,
(02:07):
the NFLPA is conveyed its concern to the NFL and
will work to ensure that players are not put in
that position going forward. And I know we talk about
MetLife Stadium, we talked about the World Cup and they're
going to get grass fields and all. I do not
understand how the playing surface in which your players have
(02:30):
to play on to produce good content and good action
and good games and basically a good viewing experience for everybody,
Why that's not paramount to the discussion that that should
be the best of the best, no ifens or butts,
and don't cut any corners to make it happen.
Speaker 2 (02:50):
And even in this case the conditions were awful.
Speaker 1 (02:53):
We were watching the highlights yesterday and I was telling LeVar,
I was like, look at that field.
Speaker 4 (02:59):
Definitely did it looks awful. It's like that every year.
Why because of the usage of it. There's like a
high usage of it.
Speaker 5 (03:09):
So take this, take this with a grain of salt,
because this is the research that I could do, so
acrochure or what we know is Heines field. I kind
of just want to call it Hines only because like
also when they would score. I mean again, lifelong Browns fan,
played for him, can't stand Pittsburgh, but I would love
when they got in the red zone and they'd have
(03:31):
the ketchup bottle would dip down to like, you know,
fill up the scoreboard because they're in the red zone.
Like that was that was neat, Like kudos to all
those Hines Anyway, it's natural grass.
Speaker 6 (03:42):
Do you know what the the delta is?
Speaker 5 (03:45):
They like the finance bros like to say, or the
difference between maintenance on an artificial turfield is versus a
natural grass field.
Speaker 6 (03:53):
Approximately, like rough number, what.
Speaker 5 (03:56):
Is it almost eight hundred and fifty thousand dollar year
to maintain a natural grass field.
Speaker 6 (04:03):
It's going to cost a million plus to maintain an
artificial turf field.
Speaker 5 (04:09):
Even at the high end, it's about one hundred and
thirty thousand approximately.
Speaker 6 (04:14):
That's based on you know, some research what is able
to find.
Speaker 5 (04:18):
I think about that the owners are pocketing all of
that by those cost savings. And on top of that,
because of the natural turf field, they're most likely not
able to do as many events and things throughout the
course of the year because they have to maintain its
condition if you really want to keep it up right.
So not only is there a cost saving by having
(04:40):
an artificial turf field, but there's also more money that
you can generate more revenue for you for additional events.
So I just I look at this and you know,
it's just it's a bottom line conversation with the owners.
Speaker 6 (04:54):
They know what's best for their athletes.
Speaker 5 (04:57):
It's a natural grass field and it's one that's maintained
very similar to how the English Premier League teams maintain
their fields, especially when you're making an investment in players
like this. The owners don't want to do it. They
don't want to spend the money. That's what it boils
down to. They don't want to spend the money, and
they know that it's more advantageous for them to have
(05:17):
an artificial turf field where it cost.
Speaker 6 (05:20):
Them less to maintain and they can do.
Speaker 5 (05:22):
More throughout the course of the year in that stadium
to generate more revenue.
Speaker 6 (05:28):
That's what it boils down to.
Speaker 1 (05:30):
I guess the part that I struggle with is I
don't know any business that would say, well, we'll just
we'll cut corners and we'll do We'll use a a
worse oven. If we're going to cook something, we'll use
worse tools. If we're going to build something, we'll use
like It just seems like that would be an investment
into a better product overall. And they don't want to
(05:54):
do it, like they don't like it's and I just
and I know the bottom line, you're saving a bunch
of money, but at one point are you also putting
what you're trying to save on and what you're trying
to present. At some point, you're just putting people at
risk and the product isn't as good like players are
(06:16):
looking around, like you watch highlights from that game last
week at Akrotchure and they're sand kicking up as players
are running. I don't know why this is a problem.
I know there's high school games later in the year.
Obviously Pitt plays there, but it just feels it look
Soldier Fields the same way.
Speaker 2 (06:32):
There's been issues with Soldier Field.
Speaker 4 (06:34):
But doesn't the question become why are they continuing to
use a natural field if they're not going to put
the resources into it being properly, properly kept right, Like
I mean, just just listening to the conversation, like they
deal with this ever since they've had grass there, and
(06:59):
so it's like a right, is it even possible for
them to keep the grass conditions at a at.
Speaker 6 (07:07):
A super high level?
Speaker 4 (07:09):
Is it possible because of the way the weather works,
because of the amount of usage on it? What does
that plan look and where does that fall within the
grounds keeping figures that that queue throughout there. I mean
it might be more than that. It might cost more
based upon the amount of maintenance that that that field
(07:30):
in particular, that statum due to whatever the conditions are,
like you know, how it's set what it's set on.
You know, like, how does that foundation look. I don't know,
how does that play a part in how the grass
grows and how it reacts. I don't know, you know
what I mean, but somebody does, and I just it
(07:50):
just lends to the question of as the weather continues.
Because the weather, the field conditions are worsening right now
and it's not even bad weather out yet, I imagine
when no other really gets worse.
Speaker 6 (08:02):
How that's so let's let's say it costs three million.
Let's say it.
Speaker 4 (08:08):
I would say it's still worth it if I'm not
going to lose a plan worth worth like million.
Speaker 5 (08:13):
If if a star player pops his a c L
you know, or or or achilles or name your injury
and it's a non contact injury, which most of them
are directly correlated to the field condition or turf, I mean,
go look at me life if you need some data
on that. If that's the case, then it's like, isn't
(08:33):
that worth it? Like, isn't that worth it for your team,
your franchise to make sure you're superstar, one of your
game changers is able to remain healthy. I just you know, again,
we have a model like the English Premier League, which
you know, if you go over to England, it's not
like they're getting the best weather either. And they're able
(08:55):
to maintain their fields. They're able to you know, granted
some have gone to extremes to do it, which I'm
not sure there's an NFL franchise that's going to go
as far as I think it's Arsenal, who's got like
the underground, you know, grass growing, opper, the whole thing.
But there are ways of investing in this to make
sure this sod is proper. And again like okay, so
(09:19):
let's say it's more than a million, say's two, Let's
say it's three. Isn't that like as an owner to
give your employees peace of mind that their health and
well being is take care of, that they can be
as productive as you want them to be.
Speaker 6 (09:34):
I mean, I would argue like this is similar to.
Speaker 5 (09:36):
Any tech company right now, where if you're the owner
of that tech company, are you working with technology that's obsolete?
Are you working with you know, for example, Jonas's truck
doesn't even have you know, Bluetooth in it.
Speaker 4 (09:52):
He says it does. He probably has to install it though,
my ass, Yeah, it's a little CD player, brother, You
don't have blue tooth.
Speaker 5 (10:00):
Now, it's probably not factory. I bet it's after factory.
That's what I'm saying. That's someone that saw that thing
after Like you, there are.
Speaker 4 (10:05):
Bluetooth connectors that you can stick in your light er.
Interneed that a m FM and oh.
Speaker 5 (10:14):
I thought it was there are apparently not. It's not
now okay on your phone, But you understand the point,
Like like you, as an owner should want your employees
to be working with the best possible UH equipment in
the best possible environment that's best for their health. Like
(10:34):
that's what this comes down to. It's it's it's I
mean every every year we talk about this. I mean,
think about the Baltimore Ravens, you know, the Bushati going
back to grass. Good for him, Like, that's an owner
who cares about the product, who cares about his team
as players well being.
Speaker 1 (10:51):
Yeah, I think. And it's also on the car front.
You know you're an uber driver. Yeah, I don't want to.
Speaker 2 (10:57):
Get an oil chained. I want to save that money.
I'm gonna skip that.
Speaker 1 (11:00):
Okay, Well, it's probably worth the investment so you can
get and pick up who you need to pick up
and be where you need to be so you can
do your job. And I just don't understand how of
all the things they're going to shortcut, this is the
one like I could almost you know, like when the
NFLPA does their team reviews of where do you rank
teams and their hospitality, I could almost understand an organization
(11:23):
cutting corners on well, you know, maybe we're.
Speaker 2 (11:26):
Not going to have the best snacks in the snack room.
Speaker 1 (11:28):
You know, maybe we're not going to have you know,
the premiere coffee in the break room for people there
that want to use it. I don't understand how the
field conditions in which your stars, your moneymakers, the breadwinners
of your organization, the face of your organization, how that's
not up near the top of the most important things
(11:49):
to invest into. For some reason, they just don't do it.
And it feels and it's every year, whether it's natural grass,
whether does Penn State have an issue with their natural grass?
Speaker 2 (12:00):
Is there an issue there?
Speaker 4 (12:01):
No, we don't, but we're an agricultural school. So like
that's like we got that thing down.
Speaker 2 (12:07):
To So why can't the Steelers sold some of that?
Speaker 1 (12:10):
Interesting Marc who's a Pittsburgh radio host, on an iHeart
affiliate brought this up and said, look, don't blame Pitt
for playing games there, blame the grounds keepers, the grounds
crew for not keeping it up up to speed.
Speaker 2 (12:24):
And that's got to be coming from the organization.
Speaker 4 (12:27):
I think it's the You gotta understand all of the
conditions that go into why that field, Like, for instance,
a great example would be Michigan, Like, that's a hell
of a job to undertake because of how far below
sea level the field is. Like the ground like that
(12:48):
saw it, that natural turf, it just didn't take.
Speaker 2 (12:50):
It was like damp.
Speaker 4 (12:52):
It was always damp, and it would come up and
like chunks. Crazy to play on that field, bro and
and and largely in part I mean at least the
you know, explanation I was given is how far below seat?
Like have you ever been to ann Arbor? Have you
ever seen the stadium? I know you've you've played there, right, Q. Yeah,
(13:15):
Like you see the stadium from up top, it looks
like a regular building. Yeah, like for the seat as
many people as it does. When you pull up on
the stadium, it's like normal normal height, like maybe three stories.
It's so deep. Yeah, they dug it down, so it's
(13:35):
like you see the stadium from up top, it's like
it's normal, like, oh, there's the there's the jumbo tron,
like right there, Like the Michigan sign is right there.
Speaker 6 (13:46):
That's pretty cool.
Speaker 2 (13:47):
That is kind of cool.
Speaker 6 (13:48):
Shut up, shut up, shut up, shut up.
Speaker 2 (13:51):
Stupid anyway, I just I just think that.
Speaker 4 (13:56):
There there has to be an investment on understanding it,
like scientifically understanding it from the expertise of being a
grounds keeper. Best field you played on, Penn State, best
kept field, Penn Stake, Penn State. What about you, Brady, hmmm,
(14:17):
huh huh.
Speaker 5 (14:20):
Probably like the Cardinals field out there. That's a really
nice grass surface in College.
Speaker 2 (14:31):
Man and the Cardinals, I think, roll that in like
that's they.
Speaker 1 (14:34):
Can roll it in and out and they let it
grow outside and then roll in.
Speaker 6 (14:39):
Tennessee's field was like mint.
Speaker 5 (14:41):
We also played it like earlyer in the year two,
where like it should be mint.
Speaker 6 (14:45):
So that was Those are some really good conditions I
have to think about it. I mean SC's was garbage.
Speaker 5 (14:51):
They literally painted a green like you could smell the
paint because it was so like burnt.
Speaker 2 (14:56):
Out and dry.
Speaker 6 (14:58):
By the way.
Speaker 2 (14:58):
The Coliseum's guard you you know what else is actually
was really good.
Speaker 6 (15:01):
Was Purdue's.
Speaker 5 (15:02):
Purdue had like they didn't keep it too long either,
like obviously similar climate to Notre Dame, but Perdue had
had a good grass field.
Speaker 6 (15:11):
Michigan was turf. Michigan State was good.
Speaker 5 (15:13):
Michigan stated a good turf because we played in there
some bad weather too and it actually held up okay,
But uh yeah, I mean we played a pitt I
mean that wasn't early in the year. We played them
to beginning season and obviously played against some of the
Browns that wasn't a great surface.
Speaker 6 (15:29):
Kind of regardless of time of year.
Speaker 5 (15:30):
Maybe maybe at the beginning of the year wasn't too bad,
but yeah, it always is kind of an issue. There's
no worse turf than Chicago. Chicago Bears have the worst
natural grass field of anyone in the NFL and maybe
of any like college team that it's just it's a
terrible surface, it really is.
Speaker 2 (15:49):
Yeah. But what a stadium.
Speaker 1 (15:51):
What a stadium though, it's really really well done by

Speaker 2 (19:14):
I hate him.
Speaker 4 (19:15):
He is.
Speaker 1 (19:15):
Jeremiah Love Notre Dame running back with us here on
Fox Sports Radio.
Speaker 2 (19:20):
Jeremiah, good morning, how are you feeling.
Speaker 6 (19:22):
I'm going to what's up, playmaker or what man?
Speaker 10 (19:30):
It's a big week.
Speaker 4 (19:35):
I wish you would have felled down versus Penn State
last year. I hate that you made such a great
highlight and and such an inspirational video against my alma mater.
But you know, hey, yeah that's what great players do, right, Yeah,
they do so for people that aren't you know, that
(19:55):
haven't been a part of the rivalry like you and
Brady obviously have been.
Speaker 1 (20:00):
What is this week like on campus for you guys
as you prepare for USC?
Speaker 10 (20:07):
I was, like I said, it's a rivalry game. So
we think of you know, every game we play, it's
just just the next game that we played. But this
game has a little bit something to it more. It
gives USC, you know, fighting for that Jewish Chile, you know,
don't keep it where it belongs. But yeah, it's just
a little bit of extra energy, you know, flowing around,
(20:28):
a little bit of extra hype. But at the end
of the day, we think of it as another game
that we're gonna play and go out there and dominate.
Speaker 5 (20:35):
Uh, let's get some business out of the way first
here at Jeremiah, because you know, we do an early
morning radio show. We're always looking for like some sort
of way to get us like up and ready to
go for our show. You got like an energy drink,
and did you drink or anything else you could help
us with?
Speaker 10 (20:50):
Yes, sirs man. So recently, you know, I partner with Celsias.
I'm proud to be a part of your team Celsias
this football season. And Celsia has really been like the
energy drink of college football. You know, it's just it's
just an honor being a part of such an impressive
roster that they have of talent this year. You got
(21:13):
me kay Club me from Clemson, you know k lob
Downs from Ohio State, and then I think Bryce Underwood
from Michigan. So Celsius is the energy drink of college football,
and it powers me through my day, through my football,
through my academics. Like it's just my go to energy drink.
Speaker 11 (21:33):
So Celsius man so saying, I live fit every single
day and they you know, Celsius is different from other
energy drinks.
Speaker 10 (21:44):
I feel like it is an alternative, you know over
like your typic of energy energy drinks with all the
sugar and stuff, Like Celsias has zero sugar. It has
good vitamins in there. Like it's just different. And like
you said, you live fit every single day you want
to be fit, and I think it supports, you know,
my lifestyle, trying to be fit and be the best
person of myself every single day.
Speaker 2 (22:06):
That's connected.
Speaker 5 (22:08):
If I drink Celsius, I can run like you.
Speaker 6 (22:12):
I could, I could like hurdle people like you.
Speaker 10 (22:15):
Man, it might bring in it. You're in it. You're
in it superpowers. Man. It might just you know, spark
something people.
Speaker 6 (22:22):
You know what I'm saying. If it could do that, Man,
I'm on, I'm getting old.
Speaker 9 (22:26):
Bro.
Speaker 2 (22:28):
You could tell him the truth. You can tell him
the truth. You can tell him the truth.
Speaker 6 (22:33):
Man.
Speaker 2 (22:34):
Hey, look so I.
Speaker 6 (22:35):
Could pass her. I'll just hand off to you the
whole time. Watch the show Man.
Speaker 4 (22:39):
You talked about that fit lifestyle. You're you're a part
of what live dot fit dot go dot campaign. Talk
to me about Talk to me about that, I mean?
Speaker 2 (22:49):
And how is your health?
Speaker 4 (22:50):
I may mention of your run against my Penn State
Niitney lines last year you were dealing with a little
bit of I believe it was a knee at the time.
How is your health now and how does that play
a part in your life? You mentioned your lifestyle. You're
part of this campaign with the Live Fit Go campaign.
Speaker 2 (23:09):
Talk.
Speaker 4 (23:10):
Just talk to me a little bit about your health
then and how that campaign played a part or plays
a part in what you represent.
Speaker 10 (23:17):
Yes, sir, So you know obviously Celsius, they they've lost
their Lift and Go campaign, which is basically just all
about inspiring the lift fit mindset, you know, and you know,
as an athlete, like you know, I strive to embody that,
and you know, I love that the brand is like
encouraging others to do the same thing. You know, I
(23:40):
do this every single day. Like as a college athlete,
I'm like, I'm very very disciplined on what I put
into my body. So like you know, I work with
you know, my trains, my coaches and nutrition staff and
just all the people that you know have an impact
on my health in general to ensure that, you know,
I'm at my peak you know, all season long. And
so this is a part of that routine. Like I said,
(24:01):
it strives, I mean pushing me through my workouts, pushing
me through my thing as like academically, Like if I'm
having a hard morning, you know, drinking Celsias, you know,
I'm energied up. I'm ready to go for the rest
of the day. But it's also just a more healthy
I mean, energy drinks are energy drinks, but Celsius I
would say, is a more healthy energy drink or it's
(24:24):
an alternative to the energy drinks that are just stuff
with a bunch of sugar. So it's of course that
live it go, you know, campaign, that campaign of being
fit and just just being better for yourself. That is
how I do it as an athlete.
Speaker 1 (24:42):
And yeah, okay, uh he is Jeremiah Love Notre Dame
running back joining us here on Fox Sports Radio two
Pros and a cup of Joe here on FSR. So
with it being the USC week, with it being Rivalry week, obviously,
you know this sort of highlights the pride you have
as a Notre Dame fighting Irish player and somebody who's
(25:03):
going to carry the flag for the program for the
rest of your life. What was it about Notre Dame
that sold you on wanting to make your college experience
there in South Bend?
Speaker 10 (25:14):
I would say to people, I feel like that's what
it really comes down to. If you're going to any
place like you want to be surrounded with good people
and people that have your best interests at heart, and
Notre Dame just was that for me. You know, I
came in with a great coach like Deila McCullough. I
had coach free, you know, just a whole coaching staff
(25:35):
that I trusted in and undews. They trusted me to,
you know, come in and work, put my head down
and do the things that I needed to do to
get to where I want to be. And also, you know,
help this team, you know, achiege some some team Gordon Man,
you know, go out there and do some great things.
But at the end of the day, it was just
the people. The school is great itself, but I mean
(25:56):
you wouldn't have Notre Dame without the people there, you know,
the people that that includes the name. So yeah, I'm
just the people sold me over Dame.
Speaker 5 (26:06):
Hey, Jeremiah, talking to me a little bit about you
and Jadarian. Obviously everyone knows or at least a lot
of people obviously know your name. Jadarian too is very
capable as a back. I mean I look at you
two as a one two combination as the best in
college football, and obviously you guys have bright futures ahead.
Just talk to me about your relationship, how you guys
go about kind of motivating each other and sharing the rock.
Speaker 10 (26:28):
Yeah, Jadarian, he's a great back. He's also a great
friend and just a great person to be around off
the field. Obviously, on the field, JD makes explosives like
just is at any time that he needs to. Like,
he's just as an explosive back as me and I
would say, like, we just compliment each other very well.
(26:52):
I tell this to people a lot. So whenever we're
in a game, you know, say, you know, I go
out there and I see a certain look, and I
don't excim that look like I should, Like say, I
don't get as many yards or score touchdown like I should.
You know, me and JD being so put together and
so like in tune with each other, go back to
(27:14):
the bench, tell JD what I see, and he goes
out there, sees the same look and creates an explosive
and he's just going to get shoot ten plus yards,
We're gonna get a touchdown. And it happens really literally
every single game, and we communicate so well, you know,
just during the game, and they're in practice pushing each
other up, you know, be the best versions of ourselves
(27:34):
every single day. And that's just you know, just what
being that Notre dame means I feel like, you know,
being surrounded by just guys that are going to push
you to be the best version of yourself every single day.
And that's just the relationship that me and Zadarian have.
Just too big, too great backs, you know, trying to
put on off another dame, put on for our cities
(27:56):
at home, and put on for you know, our last names,
and just uh, just do something great. But yeah, Jadarian
is a great teammate, great brother.
Speaker 2 (28:05):
And uh yeah, mister love you.
Speaker 4 (28:08):
You guys have a new running backs coaching jay Wan Sider.
He's he is, that's my guy, Like he's the O G.
What's that been like working with him this year at
Has it? Has it been infitted you in in what ways?
Speaker 10 (28:24):
Oh? Yeah, it's benefitted me a lot. Coach cyd you know,
I like him a lot. He's just he's a great
person to be around, a very funny person off the field.
I feel like all the running backs and just people
on the team in general connect with him really well.
Speaker 2 (28:40):
You know.
Speaker 10 (28:40):
Coach Cider brings a new perspective to the running back room.
He played quarterbacks, so one of the things that he
preaches to us every day is that in order for
us to be complete, like football players, we kind of
just need to know what's going on, you know, everywhere
throughout the field, like as running backs. Uh, he wants
(29:02):
us to be able to play from the from the head,
from our head and not just our instincts. So he
teaches us about, you know, how to uncovered you know, coverages,
just lots of things about what what the quarterback sees
which could help us, you know, whenever we're split out
wide and we gotta you know, run a route that
(29:24):
we're reading it the safeties and if the safety is higher,
if it's covered too, like, are you gonna like run
like a vendor route? Are gonna run like a little
fade or whatever. He just teaches us stuff like that,
just bigger things. And it's bigger things than just being
running back. He wants to understand the full field. But yeah,
in general, Cole Sider is a great coach. I love him,
(29:47):
and I just hope to, you know, continue to build
a great relationship with him as a season goes on.
Speaker 1 (29:53):
Notre Dame running back Jeremiah Love joining us here on
Fox Sports Radio. So take me back because obviously the
start of the season.
Speaker 2 (29:59):
You guys want bold.
Speaker 1 (30:00):
You had Miami, you had Texas A and m on
the schedule. As it turns out, both those teams top
teams in the country, both two and four in the
rankings right now, but you fall short. So what is
the vibe like, what's the conversation like for you guys
opening up the year two tough losses, sitting at zero
and two, knowing you probably got to run the table
(30:21):
if you want to make noise in the playoffs.
Speaker 10 (30:24):
Yeah, so we we obviously we had a start to
the season that we didn't want to have, start off
one and two. But our mindset, you know after those
two games was just to keep going and keep and
keep staying together. As long as we do that week
by week, you know, we'll get to where we want
to get to. But it was hard, you know, starting
(30:47):
off on and two. But we just put our head
down and just worked every single day, and that's what
we're continuing to do. That's the mindset, you know, block
out the noise, like we're together and the only opinions
that matter is, you know, the opinions in our team
room and the opinions in our position rooms, and that's
where we live. By We'll just go out every single
(31:07):
day and do the things that we need to do
to make sure that every week we're all we're want
to know. And that's what we're gonna do this week.
You know, we've been putting our hands down this week,
making said that we're preparing the right ways, making sure
we're recovering the right ways so we can go out
there and be and put ourselves and put the team
in the best position possible to go out there and
win the game. And that's what we're just gonna do
(31:28):
every week.
Speaker 5 (31:30):
Jeremiah, before we let you go, I do want to
ask you just who you are closest with on the
old line. Just give some love to those those big
boys up front off so you're paying the way for
you guys.
Speaker 10 (31:39):
I'll posted all those guys. If I could say, like
the people that I that I'm like I talked to
the most, or like I joke around with the most.
Speaker 5 (31:47):
Who's the biggest character, But who's the funniest guy.
Speaker 10 (31:51):
Yeah, I would say Billy. Either Billy or Ask And
those two are like when I first came in our name,
I thought those who were like twins. They look exactly
the same, they act the same, Like they're always in tune.
And I play around with those guys a lot like
off the field, just joking around the locker room where
he's playing ping pong or whatever it may be. Like,
(32:13):
those guys are always just fun to be around. And
then uh, Nap too, he's a character off the field.
Nap a meal, definitely a meal and Gary B two
like those, all five of those guys are just great
to be around, fun to be around off the field.
Speaker 2 (32:29):
What do you think about Elijah Burths?
Speaker 10 (32:32):
Oh, he's great man. He put on a he put
on a show in spring ball and then he has
continued to evolve ever since. You know, he's been at
Notre Dame. I feel like he's going to be that
guy for Notre Dame whenever his time comes. He puts
his head down and works every single day. And you know,
I see it as coach sees it, and I feel
(32:53):
like everybody on the team sees it. But yeah, Elijah,
he's nice. He's nice. Soon he was making some crazy plays,
so nice. His future is bright.
Speaker 2 (33:04):
Nice.
Speaker 1 (33:05):
Jeremiah love Notre Dame running back with us here on
behalf of Celsius. We appreciate the time, good luck this weekend,
and good luck the rest of the way.
Speaker 2 (33:14):
Man Iris Joe Irish Jrish.
Speaker 1 (33:20):
Yeah, forty five to one, by the way, to win
the Heisman on draft is on the list.
Speaker 5 (33:27):
Say you better lay that bet now because he goes
off this week.
Speaker 6 (33:31):
It's only going to go up from there.
Speaker 2 (33:35):
Guy's gonna be a first round draft pick.
Speaker 6 (33:37):
He's number two on Mel Kuiper's big board right now.
Speaker 10 (33:41):
Now.
Speaker 5 (33:41):
I don't know how much he you know, I think
he's the best overall player, you know, so I think
Kuiper is putting a premium on quarterbacks when I looked
at it, But I think you put him. Jeremih Smith
is in draft eligible, but Caleb Downs is. I think
him and Downs are the two best players in college for.
Speaker 1 (34:00):
There was I saw somebody had sort of a mock
draft or projection as to where they think Jeremiah Love
could end up, and they're like, oh, perfect fit for
him would be the Kansas City Chiefs.
Speaker 2 (34:10):
He's not last, could you imagine? But is he gonna
last to the late twenties? Potentially?
Speaker 5 (34:15):
No, But also you can see them making a move
to go up and get him. I mean the only reason,
the only reason he would is because the running back position.
But one of the things he's done this year is
they've used him more out of the backfield as a
pass catching threat. So I mean, I imagine him in
that offense. I mean and honestly, like when when he
first got to Notre Dame, when I watched him, I
(34:37):
was like, oh guy, it's like the closest thing we've
had to Reggie Bush, you know, as far as his explosiveness,
what he does when he gets to knowman the field,
Like he's the type of player that takes your breathway
you expect him to score, you know it. It's that
he's that sort of player. So I can't wait to see,
you know, what he does this week really the rest.
Speaker 6 (34:57):
Of the season. Him and Jadarion Price are so much
it's fun to watch.
Speaker 2 (35:00):
Man.
Speaker 5 (35:01):
Those two are like two of the best running backs.
They're both gonna get drafted. They'll both you know, be
high next year's NFL draft, but two just really really
good players.
Speaker 4 (35:12):
Well, I'll tell you what, He's one of those types
of guys that is deserving of. Yeah, some original Louisiana
hot sauce on his food. Bet you he might use
that on his pregame plate. You never know, but it's
the perfect balance of Pepper's vinegar and soap. Like I said,
you can put it on your wing, janachos, your burgers,
whatever it is you want to hit your tailgate, pregame meal,
(35:34):
whatever it is, whatever food you want tastes better. You
want to put that bold, hand crafted flavor of that
original Louisiana Hot sauce on it. That's Louisiana Hot.
Speaker 2 (35:44):
Bye.
Speaker 1 (35:46):
It is Two Pros and a Cup of Joe here

Speaker 10 (37:09):
That's incredible.
Speaker 2 (37:12):
Here's the left over syloreda. What do we got?
Speaker 6 (37:15):
Oh my goodness?
Speaker 12 (37:16):
Okay, I was trying to show you boys this a
little earlier. A man died after falling into Yellowstone hot
spring and he dissolved over it.
Speaker 2 (37:25):
I mean, hold on, did he get in willingly or
he fell in?
Speaker 9 (37:30):
Yes?
Speaker 12 (37:31):
According to reports, there's this new trend going.
Speaker 2 (37:34):
On called hot potting.
Speaker 12 (37:37):
Okay, it's an illegal practice where visitors try and bathe
in the park's geo thermal pool.
Speaker 2 (37:42):
So he didn't fall in. He went he went in.
Speaker 4 (37:47):
Yes, yes, which makes the That makes the story more relevant.
Speaker 2 (37:51):
What a moron, I don't understand.
Speaker 4 (37:54):
So he went in there and bathed and cooked himself
like he was basically like Arab or a rock potted rock,
potted himself.
Speaker 9 (38:03):
The ranger.
Speaker 12 (38:05):
Pellowstone.
Speaker 9 (38:07):
The bone, Yeah, pretty much.
Speaker 12 (38:09):
They said his body was completely dissolved overnight. The pools
can exceed up to one hundred and ninety nine degrees
fahrenheit and they contain minerals that are capable of destroying
human tissue within minutes.
Speaker 2 (38:20):
What about his bones? Did they find his bones? That's
how they knew.
Speaker 12 (38:24):
I'm pretty sure that's what was in there.
Speaker 2 (38:25):
So it didn't dissolve the bones, it didn't dissolve.
Speaker 12 (38:28):
Them completely, but the flesh, the flesh was gone.
Speaker 2 (38:33):
What adubbie?
Speaker 9 (38:34):
What happened?
Speaker 1 (38:35):
He couldn't figure out to turn on a wood chipper,
So yeah, this will do. I'll just pop in there
and take a bathroom.
Speaker 2 (38:40):
I mean, what is his obituary read like? If you
got to write that obituary? Like who? God bless whoever's
got to do that always wanted to be hot.
Speaker 9 (38:49):
What did you get in there? Stupid?
Speaker 12 (38:52):
I think the best part is on the on the
photo that shows him he has like a whole college
cap and gown.
Speaker 2 (38:57):
On, and I'm like, yeah, that doesn't fit anymore.
Speaker 12 (39:00):
I don't know if the education worked on you, good
sir anymore.
Speaker 9 (39:03):
And there actually are places where you can go do that.
Speaker 4 (39:07):
There are natural warm springs that exists. But why would
you go into one that has geysers.
Speaker 12 (39:17):
Folding hot water? Make it makes sense what.
Speaker 9 (39:19):
You're jumping in the hot water force? Stupid?
Speaker 13 (39:24):
Just go to Jacuzzi, Yes, thank you, they wanted them
hot Mineralscoozies are filthy, man, Not really Now if you
clean them, at least you don't die in one, which
I mean it just depends.
Speaker 2 (39:39):
You know, well you're less likely. Sorry, maybe that's true.
What's what's the bathhouse you go to? The bar that
Jacuzzi go to. I don't know. There's no bath houses.
I got one in my in my house though, Lorena,
what else forgot?
Speaker 6 (39:52):
Well we got off the rails?
Speaker 2 (39:54):
Well, you know how.
Speaker 12 (39:55):
Coop the other day was talking about this nine nine
nine deal that some baseball Parks are doing. The Dodgers
are now going to do it. But the cool thing
that the Dodgers are doing is they're making them full
pints of beer, not the little baby ones. So over
the nine innings, you get nine full size hot dogs,
nine full sized beers, and if you finish them in
the nine innings, you can tag them and they will
(40:16):
post your picture on their page, so you are on
their Wall of fame.
Speaker 1 (40:20):
They're gonna chip in for the d u I afterward.
This is a great idea, great idea.
Speaker 12 (40:26):
What I was wondering is.
Speaker 6 (40:27):
That is that? Is that what he's been doing?
Speaker 2 (40:30):
Oh Nope, I'm not Nope, not in it. That bear
what you dig I'm not in that. Take Nope.
Speaker 12 (40:44):
Drink up, stupid, and you can.
Speaker 9 (40:48):
You've got a whole lot more time stupid.
Speaker 12 (40:51):
You can pick any of the draft beers too, So
I know that makes you excited. Okay, I do got
another story.
Speaker 9 (40:57):
Here, an you gotta worry about getting up.
Speaker 12 (41:02):
Back down. The NHL debuted their new team and mascot,
the Utah manmot very cool.
Speaker 2 (41:11):
Oh yeah, yeah, love the Man.
Speaker 12 (41:13):
I wanted them to be the Yetties, but.
Speaker 1 (41:17):
You think, well, plus YETI coolers kind of has uh
has that unlocked?
Speaker 12 (41:22):
That's why they couldn't do it because of the copyright issues.
Speaker 2 (41:26):
A LaVar always told me, you never pass up a
chance to get a free yetti. I got one in
the refrigerator right quality at the Super Bowl. That one
they had, Yeah, I was taking them. I still drink
my coffees out of there. The bar swiped it off
the desk. You got that right.
Speaker 12 (41:42):
I think I could squeeze this one in NBA rookies,
that you are going to be wearing their new NBA
debut patches for their first game, isn't that exciting?
Speaker 2 (41:50):
Amazing?
Speaker 12 (41:51):
Make them stick out like sore thumbs?
Speaker 2 (41:54):
Amazing? What you know about sort
