Speaker 6 (02:11):
Don't I don't have a problem with it.
Speaker 4 (02:12):

Speaker 4 (02:15):
I ain't cloud chasing the cloud chaser.
Speaker 6 (02:17):

Speaker 5 (02:19):

Speaker 6 (02:23):
Five or what.
Speaker 4 (02:25):
Living my life? I'm sorry, could somebody, could somebody in
Madison please for the love of God, do a sign
about Lee? Just Lee to show up.
Speaker 6 (02:33):
To begging people to do stuff. It has to happen.
Speaker 5 (02:37):
Organically, dude, there's nothing organic back then happened organically?
Speaker 3 (02:40):
It did it?
Speaker 6 (02:41):
You beg for it?
Speaker 4 (02:43):
Yeah, we don't play the drop anymore. So we've got
to do these things from time to time.
Speaker 6 (02:46):
But why don't we play the drop anymore?
Speaker 4 (02:48):
I mean the dropper? And by the way, but you
know what, need to stop sending stuff Burdo.
Speaker 3 (02:54):
He needs he acts like he's still a part of us.
You're not a part of it.
Speaker 5 (02:57):
Who also needs to stop sending stuff? The Furman and
I got some mail from.
Speaker 4 (03:03):
That is so funny because you know, thank god, it's it's.
Speaker 6 (03:07):
An Oh my gosh, you got me one of the
homies man.
Speaker 5 (03:17):
Oh no, oh no, well done, Lorena, Well done, Lorena.
Speaker 3 (03:24):
Yeah, yeah, I gonna be throwing shade Lorena.
Speaker 4 (03:27):
Hey. By the way, we just said my wife texted
me there was just another earthquake. We had like five yesterday.
Speaker 3 (03:33):
I felt them when I was sitting in my room yesterday.
Speaker 5 (03:36):
Bro, you guys are gonna be an island soon. Just
just wait, it's happening.
Speaker 3 (03:39):
Oh.
Speaker 4 (03:40):
We got wildfires and earthquakes this week.
Speaker 5 (03:44):
Breaking off for the rest of the United States, although
out there.
Speaker 4 (03:48):
I had a bit of a LaVar moment yesterday during
the earthquake. I was in the middle of using the
bathroom number one not to uh and uh. It shook
for me, so I didn't have to do that part,
which I appreciate, and it rattled us pretty good, like
a five to one initially. Then here's the question.
Speaker 3 (04:08):
If you're saying you had a similar situation, it's me
had it been worse, would you have been able to
get up and move at the time when I was
standing up? Oh, you're already standing up. Yeah, it's not
the same situation, and it's not even close because you're
not compromised that way.
Speaker 4 (04:27):
I'm a veteran too, I'm an earthquake veteran, so I
can kind of and I don't really get concerned about it, you.
Speaker 3 (04:33):
Know, just veteran about anything. If you you made flight,
like you you mid mid delivery and everything starts shaking,
like there is no.
Speaker 6 (04:43):
Where's the worst place in LA to be kind an earthquake?
Speaker 5 (04:46):
Because we had someone who was traveling yesterday and they said,
like that tunnel as you go to Lax is the
worst possible place to get caught in the canyon.
Speaker 3 (04:56):
It's like the tunnel under like where the airplanes go
over top and you go under it and then go
into the mill. See. I would think any tall building,
because the building rocks, it starts swinging.
Speaker 4 (05:13):
That's wow to me. Anticipating that, Yeah what Yeah, it's
almost like they've got I don't know, shocks, or they've build.
Speaker 5 (05:21):
It anticipating that. Even the homes that build to anticipates
of the rocking.
Speaker 3 (05:24):
I don't care you beat fifteen twenty thirty, forty fifty
floors up when an earthquake hits. I'm not sitting there like,
oh nope, I'm okay. They built it to be shock
proof to earthquakes. I'm good, like bruh. You trying to
get the hell up out of there, believe you me.
And I was in mid flight on any commode on
(05:46):
a twilet when it happened to me the first time.
I was mortified.
Speaker 4 (05:51):
Yeah, because you said, that's why you don't wash your
hands anymore after.
Speaker 3 (05:54):
You know, that's exactly the reason why you're eating an earthquake.
Speaker 5 (05:59):
You're who goes bare back, which is as a great
There's one put your shirt on and you have to
wash your hands.
Speaker 4 (06:05):
That's correct. When you do that, you got to be
you're natural.
Speaker 3 (06:11):
Man.
Speaker 6 (06:12):
If you don't go bare back, you don't know, you
don't know what you're doing.
Speaker 3 (06:15):
That's correct. Yeah, why be? Why be contained in any way?
Speaker 4 (06:20):
Like, I didn't know that was part of the deal.
Speaker 6 (06:23):
I didn't Is that a secret? Like the people not
know that.
Speaker 4 (06:26):
I don't know that a lot of people take their
shirt off when they go to the bathroom.
Speaker 6 (06:29):
You know, some people have to, dude, it's part of
the process.
Speaker 3 (06:32):
You do know that some people never graduate from pulling
their pants all the way down their ankles, you know,
like when you're your kid in like grade school, and
you go you learn to go to the like the
stand up urinal for the first time, you pull your
pants down to your ankles. Some people never stop doing it.
Oh yeah, there'd be grown ass adults in the restroom
(06:53):
with their pants around their ankles taking a pee. And
that's the funniest. That's the funniest ever right there to
me if you as me and it's like, well, how
would you see that? You not see that? I mean,
that's that's interesting. I think I sent you a picture
one time I was at a football game, dude, it
was like.
Speaker 6 (07:09):
It's funny, man, you did I actually I distinctly call
this now.
Speaker 3 (07:14):
Yeah, man, like you know, at some point you got
to graduate into understanding that you don't have to pull
your pants down that far. Like that's a pull up.
That's that's the pull up phase of your life, like
when you go pull up diaper on and you're just
figuring it out, like you got.
Speaker 4 (07:29):
To pull.
Speaker 6 (07:30):
Taken back by the bare back. Number two.
Speaker 4 (07:32):
I didn't know that you take your shirt off.
Speaker 3 (07:35):
I don't even just take my shirt off. I take
it all off.
Speaker 4 (07:38):
Like, what are you like taking a dump and a
kiddie pool? What naked, Doug, I don't get it.
Speaker 6 (07:42):
Take it to do with the kid pool?
Speaker 4 (07:44):
Well, like, is there like enough space that you're going
to get a bunch of stuff to.
Speaker 6 (07:47):
Come back relaxing and more refreshing.
Speaker 4 (07:49):
That's correct, That is correct. I will say this.
Speaker 3 (07:53):
Though naked the Jonus. Try it next time, Yeah, try
it like when you go in there to do it everything. Yeah,
like go full birthday suit, my g I'm telling you
all right.
Speaker 4 (08:06):
The pulling the trousers down to the ankles to go out.
Number one, I think the one that's weirder than that
is the guy that lifts up his sure a short
leg like he's wearn't a pair of shorts on one side,
and then just goes and then it just drops a
short leg back down. It's like, what are you doing, dude.
It's just that's a little odd to me.
Speaker 3 (08:27):
I would rather that than going all the way down
to your ankles.
Speaker 2 (08:31):
Man.
Speaker 3 (08:31):
I'm sorry. I just can't do the ankles party. I
can't do that, man. I can't see how a grown
ass man can drive. And if you're listening and that's
what you do, do better, man, like retrain your mind.
Speaker 6 (08:43):
And they say it's something lead do better.
Speaker 3 (08:46):
Yeah, better better.
Speaker 4 (08:48):
If you're gonna do that, keep it off, ig live
all right, for the love of god.
Speaker 3 (08:52):
I still don't understand why people aren't discussing the fact
of how hard it is to go ig.
Speaker 4 (08:58):
Laugh because it was intentional. It was intentional.
Speaker 3 (09:02):
I don't understand why we don't get credit for stuff
we'd be saying. Man, I don't get it, Like everybody's
running out here saying it. We sit it on the
show at three am in the morning. Three We literally
said what it was at three am and now you
got all these people out here saying it. I don't
know why we don't get no credit. Yeah, no respect.
We like the Rodney Dangerfield of sports talk radio man.
Speaker 4 (09:24):
Crazy Rodney Dangerfield. All right, well we are looking back
at Thursday night football last night. Obviously the big story
is to Atauko bay Low another concussion. They ruled him
out what like six minutes later, almost immediately he was
out with the concussion. And so now we wait to
see whether or not he is going to be coming
(09:45):
back anytime soon for the Dolphins and sort of how
that transpires. And then so they'll run tests I'm assuming today,
and then do they just check on him daily or
how does that work when it comes to concussions? What's that?
Speaker 6 (10:00):
I mean, he's gonna be in the protocol.
Speaker 5 (10:01):
So he's got a number of things he's got to do,
like the impact test for example, to you know, try
to get back to whatever his baseline testing and scoring was. Like,
you have different hurdles you've got to hit, So that's
part of it. You know, you've got to be symptom free.
Oftentimes you have headaches, you have other issues that come
along with it.
Speaker 6 (10:22):
It just it all.
Speaker 5 (10:23):
Depends, but there's a protocol and you have to hit
all these different markers. You have to be rechecked by
you know, your team's neurologists, you have to go to
an independent neurologist. There's a lot of things they put
in place to make it kind of difficult to come
back right away.
Speaker 6 (10:38):
It's one of the reasons why I said he's gonna
miss next week.
Speaker 5 (10:41):
It's gonna be the following week where you would hope
he'd be able to come back depending on his symptoms
from all this.
Speaker 4 (10:48):
Did you see if you're a fan of old school football,
that for the first time in a long time, so
scoring was up in week one, but for the first
time since nineteen eighty nine, there were more rushing than
asking touchdowns to open up the season. Now, is that
just because the offenses are so far behind that they're like,
it's just easier to run the ball.
Speaker 3 (11:07):
It's to kickoff rule so totally changed everything. It's yeah,
that stimulated, it's stimulated the scoring.
Speaker 4 (11:14):
Now that rule sucks. I don't know since somebody make
a change sometime soon. It's not working.
Speaker 5 (11:20):
It's so hard watching college and even high school and
seeing the normal kickoff and then watching that, you're like,
this is stupid.
Speaker 6 (11:28):
I mean, it really does.
Speaker 5 (11:30):
It seems like it's it's like a worthless play now,
Like they want to keep the play in the game
and they've literally implemented a rule that has taken it
out of the game.
Speaker 3 (11:39):
Yeah, yeah, I don't. I don't understand. What do you
think it sucks? Yeah, stinks. It's not I mean, it
shouldn't be a part of it shouldn't be a part
of the game. It should be they should take that
and throw it out, ball it up, crumble it up,
toss it in the rubbish. It's gone, like, get rid
of it, because isn't that what they said They wanted
(12:02):
to stimulate more, like better starting yardage, right, isn't that
what they like? They're saying, make it safe right now,
save time.
Speaker 5 (12:11):
They wanted to make it a safer play than they
wanted to try to actually entice to have the more take.
Speaker 3 (12:15):
It out to run it right.
Speaker 5 (12:18):
Right, So that's why they have like the where it's
kicked in a certain zone, you've got to bring it out. Unfortunately,
they didn't think far enough ahead to go maybe we
should move it back as well to make kicks to
kick it out of the end zone.
Speaker 3 (12:30):
Right, Okay, well, you know, I just I was making
a joke, but I was serious, like that has not
improved to me, that that hasn't been the stimulation of
more offense and better offense now, you know. But it's early.
I mean, if if if it's up and it's through
through running, that's interesting because that would be actually a
(12:52):
contradiction to what's taking place, to the value of a
running back versus the value of overseas correct.
Speaker 4 (13:02):
I mean, I just would say it's one weekend, like
as we start to but if it's up, it's up.
Speaker 3 (13:08):
And if it's been that long since it's been up
and it's been through the ground game, it's interesting. I
was having that that conversation. Imagine this. I was having
that conversation with Trish the other day because my my daughters, Yeah,
what up, tris? My daughter is dating a running back
that place for OLU right, shouts out to Steve chabas
good kid, And we were just talking. He was like,
(13:31):
you know, I was telling her. I was like, you know,
I was a tailback in high school. I was like,
it was such a coveted position and that was the
position if you had a running back. You like you
had a chance if you had two running backs in
high school, you really like you might win it all
with two tailbacks, especially if you had a decent old line,
(13:51):
and that was that was important. And then I just
believe seven on seven really really changed the culture of
what people really, you know, valued and saw important and
and the receiver became such a distinction of this is
what you need to do, this is what you need
(14:12):
to play. You know, they used to almost be like
semi specialists, Like you're a specialist if you're a receiver
because of the things that you're able to do. But
I don't know, I digress. I just all I'm saying
is is that it's crazy because the ultimate, you know,
kind of conclusion was is that, you know, the running
back is truly not as valued anymore, and it seems
(14:33):
like the position is continuing to depreciate, but yet you've
got the most yards offensively or whatever, and it's coming
by the ground. Like I think that's it's kind of interesting.
Speaker 4 (14:43):
And it's also kind of nice to see Josh Allen
with the running game a little bit.
Speaker 3 (14:47):
Somebody can defend cook be tote in that pill.
Speaker 6 (14:50):
So that last year a little bit the too.
Speaker 5 (14:52):
You know, I thought they started to highlight James Skrip
more and find way it's getting even in the passing game,
gettinghim the football, and you kind of knew that that
was the direction they probably need to go while the
young wide receivers you know, continue to develop around him.
But I think the thing that impressed me the most
was the defense. Like coming into this year for Buffalo,
(15:12):
you know, I was I wasn't sure how the pass rush,
what it would look like.
Speaker 6 (15:15):
Obviously you saw Von Miller, you know, have an impact.
Speaker 3 (15:18):
Last night.
Speaker 6 (15:18):
Greg Russ had three sacks the first week.
Speaker 5 (15:20):
I thought he played pretty darn well in his Miami
return last night. So it's it's the defense, you know,
the improvements we saw after all those injuries, was able
to sustain and once again last night, same thing. You know,
Johnson out, Milano out, no big deal, Like find a
way of getting in, win and getting done.
Speaker 4 (15:39):
I got to play football, don't Johan Brady's as somebody
has been to games there. When the Dolphins are getting
mutilated at home like that, do they still play fins
to the left, fins to the right.
Speaker 5 (15:50):
Buff They have to score for that to happen. Oh,
but yeah, they still play it still play.
Speaker 3 (15:56):
Right, you know. I look at this Bills team and
it's still the same Bills team that we've come to.
Speaker 4 (16:03):
Know when I'm watching the game last night, going damn it,
LeVar was right. I should have. I'm gonna regret not
being higher on the Bills.
Speaker 3 (16:10):
Than I was.
Speaker 4 (16:11):
I know, Yeah, you just got to go. Did I
have a record for him?
Speaker 6 (16:17):
Yeah, like you didn't even have like a win loss.
Speaker 4 (16:19):
Record now, but I had him not going to the playoffs.
Speaker 3 (16:21):
Yeah. I told us they're going to win the divisions
and they're They're going to be the same Bills team
until somebody proves that they're not. Now, the question becomes, now,
with Tua dealing with these head injuries, what does that
look like for the number two spot? Because I thought
it would be a fight between Miami and New York,
But I'm not so sure. Again, I'm curious as to
(16:44):
if Gerrod Mayo, you know, is joining that that that
short list of linebackers that creates a culture with his
players that they respond to. I mean, he could be,
you know, the new Demiko. I don't know, he could
have those guys playing. They could easily win this game
against Seattle and go into their game against New York
(17:06):
to and No easily. So now do we have to
throw them into the mix. And we were not And
I don't think anyone would say that they were anticipating
that the New England Patriots might be to and No
going into a divisional opponent game.
Speaker 4 (17:23):
Yeah, I think you know.
Speaker 3 (17:24):
So now you got to take that into consideration.
Speaker 4 (17:26):
I think, LaVar, you were saying New England was going
to be the worst team in the league this year,
weren't you.
Speaker 3 (17:30):
No, you guys said that. I said, Carolina, what do
you mean at least you said it. I'm not I
can't say you. I heard you say, threw up Carolinas
as the worst Carolina as easily and and that's that's
easily easy, easy the worst team in the in the league. Jeez,
easily easy, the worst team.
Speaker 4 (17:51):
Well, I do know this, as we told you an
hour one of the program, it is a special day here.
So you're probably thinking to yourself, well, what's so special Friday?
The third team I got is Friday at thirteenth. What's
a big deal. It's not yet. Well, no, I mean
it is Friday the thirteenth, but it's also a football.
Speaker 3 (18:08):
That's right. Yeah, Jason comes out on Friday the thirteen field.
Speaker 6 (18:14):
Yeah, come on, take it's come out.
Speaker 4 (18:16):
It's Friday. It's it's down.
Speaker 6 (18:19):
What's the football? Comes right? Come on last, it's football.
Speaker 3 (18:23):
It's Friday. It's a football. It's Friday. It's football on
Friday time.
Speaker 6 (18:30):
Comes.
Speaker 3 (18:32):
Let me do it.
Speaker 6 (18:33):
I let to do it.
Speaker 3 (18:34):
I let well I left.
Speaker 6 (18:35):
It was probably not, probably.
Speaker 3 (18:36):
Not, but all right, all right, stop stop stop because
you gotta do it.
Speaker 4 (18:42):
We gotta do it, man, Eddie.
Speaker 3 (18:44):
Let's do it any Friday night, but football Friday. Yeah,
football Friday, Eddie Garcia. Yeah, come on redsno State.
Speaker 4 (18:58):
It is asy Sam.
Speaker 7 (19:00):
Yeah.
Speaker 4 (19:01):
Fox Sports Radios welling up next year, we are going

Speaker 5 (20:06):
Yeah, Pack twelve member, baby excited, let's go.
Speaker 4 (20:12):
Now it's just the pack six? Do we just call
it the six pack?
Speaker 6 (20:15):
Just there'll be more coming in.
Speaker 4 (20:18):
Who they're trying to get? Is it Callen Stanford? I heard?
Is like the goal they would like to get back
towards the well, they're.
Speaker 6 (20:25):
In the a CEC right now.
Speaker 5 (20:26):
But what would what would make the most sense would
be if Florida State Clemson leave the ACC. You'd have
to think there'll be others looking to depart too, and
maybe Stanford and cal would.
Speaker 6 (20:38):
Think, all right, this might work out.
Speaker 5 (20:39):
But the hard thing is, I don't know they're the
exact deals they signed with the a CEC, so maybe
it's financially going to be about the same and probably
saved us some money on travel costs.
Speaker 4 (20:51):
I mean, why didn't Hawaii make the cut? What have
people got against Hawaii?
Speaker 3 (20:56):
Good question?
Speaker 4 (20:57):
Come on, Eddie, you were born in Honolulu. What you
pulled through here?
Speaker 5 (21:00):
I'll see what like, I'll make a few phooncals for
trying to see what I can do.
Speaker 3 (21:03):
You know how you could do that, Eddie?
Speaker 4 (21:05):
How could you do that?
Speaker 3 (21:07):
You could jump in radio one of our wrappings. Ell, yeah,
I'll tell you what, Eddie, I'll tell you. And we
got to give our thanks to Rapid Radios, the official
communication device of Fox Sports Radio. That's right. Rappid Radios
are an instant push to talk walkie talkies, offering national
LTE coverage and no subscription or monthly fees. That's right.

Speaker 4 (21:55):
Hell yeah yeah. Talking about By the way, isn't it
appropriate that the pack to would finally figure out some
sort of plan well after everybody else had already figured
out There's it seems kind of like the way they operate,
is it safe to come out now? Oh wait, is
anyone out there? Hey, we got an idea. It's like, okay,
(22:17):
like for three weeks into the new season and everybody
like is like accepting and embracing this, you know, brand
new college football and the playoff that's coming and all that,
and then they're like, oh, we're going to poach some
Mountain West teams and try to put the conference back together.
It's where was the initiative back then, like with the
TV deal, with the like figuring out some direction. It
(22:39):
just feels like they're always last to try and get
anything done. I don't understand. I mean, you guys are
West Coast football guys. You tell me that's why I
stick to them?
Speaker 5 (22:48):
Definitely not so I really can't answer much to it.
To be honest with you, I'm a little bit surprised
that they were able to.
Speaker 3 (22:55):
Whoa, whoa, whoa.
Speaker 5 (22:59):
But yeah, I'm just surprised they were able to pull
this off. It seemed like they weren't making much much headway.
Then all of a sudden, they get four teams potentially
two more.
Speaker 6 (23:08):
But I don't know. The PAC twelve Pat Trolve's back.
But are they going to change the name?
Speaker 4 (23:12):
Like the Pack eight that was what they originally Pack eight,
then the PAC ten and the PAC twelve.
Speaker 6 (23:17):
Yeah, that's what I was thinking.
Speaker 3 (23:19):
Yeah, let's go back to the original.
Speaker 6 (23:20):
History got to go back.
Speaker 3 (23:21):
It's repeating itself. They say history is destined to repeat itself.
You know.
Speaker 4 (23:28):
I hope that's not true with everything, but.
Speaker 3 (23:30):
For some things. Yeah maybe, you know, I don't see
there being a problem with that here Pack eight.
Speaker 4 (23:39):
Hold on, LaVar, why don't you care about twas a
potential financial interest with the concussion situation?
Speaker 3 (23:48):
Uh wait, hold on, Now, I didn't say I don't care.
I'm saying you said, should we discuss it? I don't care. Yeah,
that's up to you. Like, if y'all want to introduce it,
let's talk about two is if that was your way
of introducing it, that like that's fine that you put
me on the sacrifice of sacrificing h you know, block that.
Speaker 4 (24:08):
So there you go. I thot you're pulling a ten
dollars fine there, like I don't care.
Speaker 3 (24:11):
No, I was saying I don't care, like like, let's
do it, like if you want to do it, like
I was deferring to you and quekay, okay, yes, not
that I don't care. It's interesting. It's an interesting conference,
the conversation.
Speaker 4 (24:24):
So financially, it would be hoove to to continue to play.
Speaker 3 (24:29):
Guys, he can get all his money, or.
Speaker 4 (24:31):
If he's determined medically he can't play, he's going to
get one hundred and twenty four million dollars of his contract.
Is that the numbers are brated, you've seen.
Speaker 5 (24:40):
If he's told he has to be medically retired due
to this. But if they clear him and he chooses
to retire, he'd only get the guarantees that he's already
cashed in on, which will so he'd be leaving one
hundred and twenty four million on.
Speaker 3 (24:52):
The table, which would keep playing.
Speaker 6 (24:55):
Yeah, so I was gonna say, I think he's gonna
keep playing.
Speaker 3 (24:59):
And that would that much on it.
Speaker 4 (25:01):
And then now the Dolphins are gonna have to, you know,
get the heat or get the pushback if he's out
there and he comes out anytime soon, and that discussion
comes all the way back up again. It's like I
just I feel like, listen, if he if they clear him,
he wants to play. I know, people may not like it,
or they may be concern you know, maybe he's got
to reassess how he you know, drops down, slide more whatever.
Speaker 3 (25:24):
It is.
Speaker 4 (25:25):
Like until somebody steps in and says this doesn't work
anymore for us or we're not going to clear you,
then he should have the right to play.
Speaker 3 (25:33):
Like I feel like I saw a player where the
bubble cap in the game, and yeah he made it.
That's exactly like his helmet.
Speaker 4 (25:41):
Was it somebody for the Patriots?
Speaker 3 (25:43):
I think I don't recall who it was, but even
back in the day, if you think about it, my
dude that went to the same high school as me, Yes,
I made it about me. It's fine whatever it was
Mark Kelso that that started wearing those bubble helmets to
begin with. By the way, what's that now? That could
(26:03):
be that could be a fine like that would be
much better than the Washington commanders deal because I do
like making things about me because that's just what I do.
Speaker 4 (26:11):
And by the way, it was Mark Kelso. Was he
number eighty nine or was he number thirty eight?
Speaker 3 (26:16):
No, he was a defensive back. He was one of
the receiver. They had little white dudes all on that team, right,
So you might be thinking about like Don Beebie or
somebody like that, But Mark Kelso was on the other
side of the ball. Like they kind of looked the same,
but they're on different sides of the ball.
Speaker 4 (26:34):
Can you check to see if Mark Kelso? Yeah, Steve
Tasker was eighty nine and then Mark Kelso. Can you
make sure he's thirty eight? Uh, just check to see that.
I want to make sure we're factionally correct.
Speaker 3 (26:45):
Here in this show. That good? Did that work out for?
Speaker 4 (26:47):
Care about the truth?
Speaker 2 (26:48):
Lee?
Speaker 4 (26:48):
What have we got there? Yeah? That is number thirty eight.
Speaker 3 (26:50):
There you go.
Speaker 4 (26:52):
Talking about there you go?
Speaker 6 (26:53):
I do love I just growled.
Speaker 3 (26:56):
Yeah, Well growling will never be the same. No, No,
it will never be the same.
Speaker 4 (27:02):
Ever.
Speaker 3 (27:03):
Again, it's been ruined for everybody from here on out.
Speaker 4 (27:05):
Lee, you said there was also a guy for the
Steelers that or the Guardian.
Speaker 9 (27:09):
Pretty sure I saw alignment for the Steelers wearing one
as well.
Speaker 6 (27:12):
That's accurate.
Speaker 3 (27:12):
Yeah, yeah, so I mean, now that they have those
those things and it's standard in practice, why would you
not just put it on to his helmet and say,
this thing will never come on. If it comes off,
you come out. If it comes off, you come out,
like this will be on your head forever as a
football player. And even then it still may not in
(27:35):
full contact, real full contact, it still may not, you know,
stop that from happening. But at least at least give
it a go, you know, don't don't look at it
as you know, it's just over. Go out there, try
to figure out, like, put put that guardian on them
(27:56):
and see see how it all plays out. Man, that's
what I would say. If he's gonna keep playing. But
it's getting dangerous now, right, I mean you gotta believe that. Now.
After that, it's like getting to the point where it's
a little it's a little dangerous, like it's it's kind
of it's not a good look for the league when
you have a guy that gets hit and his body
(28:19):
reacts the way that it does in that moment because
he has it's like it just scares you the way
he looks when he gets them, like some guys get them.
Like when I got my concussions, I ran off the field.
I just didn't know who I was or where I
was at, you know, and you just you got to
try to figure all that out before they start asking
(28:41):
you questions. And if you can't figure it out, it's like,
oh he got a dinger, he got banged up. Whatever,
he's seeing stars da da day, so on and so forth.
This man, his reaction is way his like, it's just
way way different.
Speaker 8 (28:55):
Man.
Speaker 3 (28:55):
He locks up almost it, bros. It's like a boxer.
It's like when you see a bar getting knocked out.
It's not a good look. It's not at all. It's
not a good look. It's not a good look for
the reputation of the game. It's not a good look
for all of the conversations that people have about is
football the right sport? This that and the other, and
(29:16):
the long term hope. It's just not a good look.
I'm just being on it. So so now the question becomes,
and I'll ask you this, and I'm gonna let you
ad a que Now the question becomes, is there is
there a bigger play here with Tua, Like does does
the bigger governing bodies come in and be like he's done.
(29:37):
He's done for this reason and this reason alone, he's done.
Speaker 6 (29:40):
I think they're gonna be patient.
Speaker 5 (29:42):
They're gonna let the medical you know, They'll let the
doctors the neurologists do their work and determine things from there.
But I don't think there's like the NFL is going
to come in and make a decision on this, or
even the NFLPA for that matter. I just think they're
gonna make sure it's the right care of the proper care,
and they go from that, you know, and going back
to the initial you know, the hit that caused it.
Speaker 6 (30:04):
You know, again, Tua has got to learn to slide.
He's got to learn to get down. You know.
Speaker 5 (30:09):
He did everything right until that moment, and it just
he awkwardly kind of slammed into Deomr Hamblin. So it
was almost like DeMar Hamlin was surprised that he didn't
dive down or he didn't slide in the manner in
which he made contact, and honestly, he kind of hurt
himself because it wasn't like Hamlin came in with a
devastating head.
Speaker 3 (30:27):
No, it was.
Speaker 6 (30:28):
So there's there's gonna be a there's gonna be a
learning curve there.
Speaker 5 (30:31):
It's gonna be a period of time where I think
they're gonna have to get together and determine how serious
this is and where he's at from a cognitive standpoint.
More than that, I think if you're a Dolphins fan,
you're distrapped because I think they've got one of the
longest drouts that they won a playoff game, the longest NFL, right,
like since two thousand or something.
Speaker 4 (30:52):
Yeah, the Lions last year winning that playoff game broke
their droughts, So the Miami's got the longest one all
the way back to an overtime game against Indianapolis Mike
Vanderjack missed a kick back in two thousand.
Speaker 3 (31:06):
I think it was. Yeah, it's been a.
Speaker 6 (31:07):
Long So think about that.
Speaker 5 (31:08):
I mean, you've now got a team that might not
even make the playoffs depending on how long he's going
to be out, given what he means to this team,
this offense. Granted played poorly last night, but he still
gives them every opportunity to win and be a playoff team.
And if he's gonna miss a significant amount of time,
or if this ends up being more serious, then you
know we're thinking right now, you can just kiss this
(31:31):
season goodbye.
Speaker 4 (31:33):
Yeah, that's rough. Two Pros and a Cup of Joe

Two pros and a cup of show.
Speaker 6 (32:46):
What even know?
Speaker 2 (32:48):
If they're please or they're out?
Speaker 4 (32:52):
All right? Lead the lab people probably wondering, why you
guys get rid of this segment? How about the fact that,
like the Lee brought up Nick Cage playing John Madden
twice and didn't realize it. What else we got, lad guys,
it's your sticky.
Speaker 9 (33:12):
Right, yeah, well that's yeah, we can bring that back
too if we want. How about this? How about Periscavita
could try a phobia? What Periscavita could try a phobia?
Speaker 4 (33:21):
Who is that a person?
Speaker 3 (33:22):
Do you guys know what that is?
Speaker 4 (33:23):
No?
Speaker 9 (33:24):
That is that is the fear of Friday the thirteenth.
Are you guys scared of Friday the thirteenth? Pariscavita could
try aphobia?
Speaker 4 (33:32):
No, I'm not a loser, No, I'm Why.
Speaker 5 (33:34):
Why isn't there more of like hype around I flick
Back in the day, they used to hype up all
the scary movies they'd play and everything else.
Speaker 4 (33:40):
Right, like Elm Street do that?
Speaker 3 (33:42):
Like if you saw Elm Street you'd immediately get scared
because you're not Freddy lived here.
Speaker 5 (33:47):
Yeah, but because they would be like showing you Freddy
Krueger like all the time. Friday the Thirteenth's coming up
this week. They don't do that anymore.
Speaker 3 (33:54):
Well, it's just that it's overrun like this, this era
period of time is overran with different forms of horror clips.
That's why, like I feel like when we were growing up,
it was more believable that there was actually a Jason
or Freddy Krueger. I mean, think about it, a guy.
Speaker 7 (34:14):
Yeah, yeah, but you got back then because a hockey mask,
like a guy that's walking around killing people with a
hockey mask on actually would probably possibly happen in real life.
Speaker 4 (34:28):
I mean now they're just live in tents out here.
Speaker 3 (34:30):
Well, I mean I just feel like now it's like
digital AI, like it's going so far away from even
like like the Exorcists and stuff like that. It was
like it was all kind of like seemed like it
was believable, like it was like a true story, Blair
Witch Project stuff like that.
Speaker 4 (34:48):
That stuff.
Speaker 3 (34:48):
Now it's not, it's not believable. It's like it's corny.
That's why I would you're desensitized by out okay out.
Speaker 9 (34:57):
All right, guys, we have a pair of big fights
in Vegas this week in super middleweight title fight between
Canelo Alvarez and Edgar Berlanga. Yeah in as well as
us said three h six the Spear with Sean O'Malley.
Speaker 4 (35:09):
Oh yeah, Mexican Independence. Yeah, let's go.
Speaker 3 (35:13):
I want to see Benavidez and Canelo fight. So me too, Like,
let's go Canelo knock his ass out and let's get this.
Benavidez going Daniel because I think he's gonna put his
He's gonna lay hands on Canelo if they fight. Damn.
So I'm in on that, right on, right on, guys.
Speaker 9 (35:30):
The Jaguars will host the Browns at Trevor Bank Stadium
on Sunday, renamed as part of the collaboration with the
stadium's naming rights sponsor, obviously a not to Trevor Lawrence
out in ever Bank. It's gonna be Trevor Bank Stadium.
Speaker 5 (35:43):
I'm out, I'm in, But I'm just I'm wondering, like,
if this season doesn't go well with them, I mean,
maybe they move on from Doug Peterson, but at some point,
if he can't read you shot it, go say it
pinnacle of what he I mean? I'm just saying, like sad,
what's your chat? What's gonnappen to the naming rights to
take his name off the stadium?
Speaker 3 (36:05):
Yeah?
Speaker 4 (36:06):
Yeah. It feels like, uh guess it goes.
Speaker 6 (36:09):
To show you how all in they are on Trevor Lawrence.
There you go.
Speaker 9 (36:13):
They were definitely in and last but not least last
chance to be in on this. Are you in or
out on this segment?
Speaker 4 (36:18):
You in or out? All out? Listen, we had a
hell of a run out but leaves leftovers. It's gonna
be the new class or show. So there it is.
It's been nice knowing you.
Speaker 7 (36:32):
You you.
Speaker 4 (36:33):
I'll miss you, guys.
Speaker 2 (36:36):
A
