I don't know. I just I don't make the rules here.
Lee told me last day you can do that that
cornball radio voice for Brady song and Hour three. I mean,
if Lee says it's okay, I'll do it. But other
than that, today, yesterday's probably the last day. So it's
it's a Lee call on this one.
Speaker 5 (01:05):
Why is it a Lee call?
Speaker 4 (01:06):
He runs a show. I don't I don't make the call. Yeah,
so that'll be that's not ten dollars?
Speaker 5 (01:12):
Do you like taking pride and saying you run the show.
Speaker 3 (01:15):
I do run this show. Yeah, no pride needed.
Speaker 5 (01:23):
It is what it is, all right, it is what

(02:14):
Jets Jets last night on Thursday Night Football listen, big
day for Brady and I. We have been singing the
praises of Aaron Rodgers and the New York Jets. Just
a well run organization and operation, and they showed nothing
but class last night in a big dominant win over
the Patriots, a team that they hadn't beaten at home
(02:36):
since twenty fifteen. So we're talking almost a decade of dominance.
And it ran into a freight train last night by
the name of Aaron Rodgers and Robert Sala.
Speaker 3 (02:45):
Big win.
Speaker 4 (02:47):
Damn right?
Speaker 3 (02:48):
Was it electric freight train? That was like a real lifetime.
Speaker 4 (02:50):
I don't know, but it was a freight train. Nonetheless.
Now here's what I would say there was.
Speaker 3 (02:58):
The hom sets are pretty see.
Speaker 4 (03:00):
There was the awkward interaction between Aaron Rodgers and Robert Salad.
I don't know if you happened to take a gander
at that.
Speaker 5 (03:08):
What did you say?
Speaker 3 (03:08):
He said?
Speaker 4 (03:09):
Again, apparently there was two score lead, Like Robert Sala
likes to point out, you know, two score lead, let's
play with the two score lead. And so I guess
that was what Aaron Rodgers said to I mean, let's
lit'sten le Rodgers talk about it. Afterwards, he explained the
interaction that people thought was a little bit awkward between
(03:30):
the two.
Speaker 6 (03:31):
He's not a big hugger usually, so I don't know
he was going for the hug. He likes to do
the two hand chest push as well, so but he
talks a lot about two score leads. So I just
kind of game a push and said two score lead.
That's what happened.
Speaker 4 (03:46):
So I mean, listen, nothing to see here. You go
to find some something wrong with that lebar?
Speaker 5 (03:50):
I mean, boor would you think?
Speaker 3 (03:53):
I mean, I don't know. I don't really have a
strong opinion on that, like to score lead, Like I'm
trying to understand, like what is there? It should this
be a big deal? How many I'd end up winning by? Anyway,
it was a twenty four or three?
Speaker 5 (04:08):
Yeah, something like that.
Speaker 3 (04:09):
Oh that's quite hits. That's more than two.
Speaker 1 (04:13):
Send a clip if you can, and and have var
take a look because here here's here's the thing about
the look, Like the initial interaction it was a little odd,
but I was like, all right, maybe this holds up.
It's the look as he's walking away of like, no,
I'm not joking, Like what I just did was serious,
(04:36):
Like there was more to this, and I don't like
power struggle a kind of or kind of like did
you see a Rod look over at the sideline after
that one play failed? I think it was like a
third down play and I think yes, and he looked
over at the sideline and put up.
Speaker 3 (04:54):
Like, like what the f are y'all calling? Like, what
the f was that? You know?
Speaker 5 (04:59):
That's sweet.
Speaker 1 (04:59):
I think we talked about that maybe in the first
segment when you were still working stuff out.
Speaker 3 (05:03):
But but yeah, but it can walk away. Yeah, let
me check it out. I just know this. I did
see that, and I did find it to be kind
of interesting. I'm looking at it right now. Let's see.
Speaker 7 (05:19):
Uh yeah, that that's that's like one of them saying hey, bruh,
like hey, look man, like for real though, like saying
a game.
Speaker 3 (05:32):
Like I do this, Like hold up, bro, like I
do this. That's confrontational, right.
Speaker 1 (05:40):
It's the way he looks as he walks away. Howd
he just kind of turned and walked away. It would
have been one thing, but it's like he stares him down,
like he's trying to make a statement to him. And
I don't know if it's a like, hey, give us
a two score lead, like our defense will be able
to shut it down that sort of thing.
Speaker 3 (05:56):
Yeah, and maybe that was what it was.
Speaker 1 (05:58):
It's just it's hard to know ultimate, but it does
seem like there's something there, like he.
Speaker 3 (06:03):
Even if it was like he said with the chess
bump and all that. He wouldn't have been able to
make it in for a chess bump either because a
ro hit him on the chest, you know what I mean.
But Robert Salad looked at him like I beat that ass.
Like you don't need to make no facial expressions at you,
my gi. We about that action. Let's be about that action. Bob.
Speaker 4 (06:21):
Robert Sawah's explanation afterwards was, you know, we're always talking about,
you know, give us a two score lead, playing with
the two score lead on defense, and so Rogers came
off and gave him that two score lead and was
kind of letting him know, and like whatever the reasoning
was behind it, there's some awkwardness there, like there's.
Speaker 3 (06:40):
A bad look on Aaron Rodgers' part, man, Like let's
just be clear about it, Like that's a bad look,
Like that's a like Pugh, you talked about it the
other day on the show about what coaches represent and
why you can't be friends with them because there's this
level of they're the ones that are in charge. They
can dictate your your job, your that is, there's a
(07:00):
lot of things there that are connected to what a
coach is and what their representation to a player is
this right here, the look of this visually wise is
I mean, I don't want to overstate it, but I'm
gonna just tell you how I really see it. It's
a player that thinks that he's bigger than the coach.
It's like it's a moment where it's like like you
(07:23):
better respect you better respect what I'm thinking or what
I got going on. Like it's very confrontational. It's very
confrontational most players, most players are never going to have
the type of confidence where they would ever like take
a stance like that against their coach, their head coach.
It just seems very confrontational to me just looking at it, like, man,
(07:45):
get away from me, don't touch me. And then he
looked at him like, am I your dad? Is it
a dad stare?
Speaker 2 (07:53):
Is it?
Speaker 3 (07:53):
I beat your ass stare? Like? Which one is it?
Because it's not a positive, it's not a positive. Whatever
it is, it's very closed, very confrontational. That's what happened.
Speaker 4 (08:01):
I think.
Speaker 1 (08:01):
The interesting thing about Rogers and the ore around him
is so outside of Peyton Manning, who had what five MVPs,
is Roger who else has had four?
Speaker 3 (08:13):
With Rogers.
Speaker 1 (08:15):
Because I think Tom Brady at three, Yeah, I think
Rogers is in his own category there, like even Jim.
Speaker 3 (08:22):
Brown had three.
Speaker 1 (08:24):
I'm not sure about like guys like you know, I
think far I have had three, but I'm pretty sure
Rogers is alone at four, and then Manning had five.
And there's a bit of a gravitas that comes with
a player who's been the best in the league four
times and he's the second, you know, player to ever
do that, almost like yeah, man, like, this is what
(08:48):
I'm here to do. This is what I do, and
so just get out of my way, let me, let
me do this thing, let me get this team, this
this organization where it needs to be. Like I've done
it before. I know how to win, I know how
to get us there. It's almost like an element of
that and where he is the most important person.
Speaker 5 (09:07):
Let's be honest.
Speaker 1 (09:09):
If you watched last night, what you saw was complete
dominant start to finish and a defense that played intire
Like my biggest takeaway wasn't even so much Rogers, it
was the defense. That defense has not played like that
like we saw last night the entire season, that since
last year, and it was different last night. Because they
almost felt like, yeah, when we're not on the field,
(09:33):
we trust and we know our offense is gonna move
the football. I mean they left points on the board.
You know, they won, what twenty four to three, whatever
it was. I mean they missed a chip shot field goal.
Zerloin looked he should have had, Like, It's just there
was opportunities that were missed too.
Speaker 4 (09:47):
Mike william should have come down with that ball too.
Speaker 1 (09:49):
Mike Williams could have came down with one. Rogers did
miss a throw up the sidelines. I think that was
to Williams, although I think there was a penalty on
the play. But my point is it was that dominant
and complimentary between all three phases with the exception of
lack of execution, that you looked at it and just
go like, yeah, this is what this Jets team can be.
And granted it's the Patriots, I think we know what
(10:11):
where they're at. But the point is is like everyone
plays better because he's there, he's healthy, he's playing, and
it's raised the level of all that. And I think
that's what he looks as Salon says like, yeah, this
is what I do, this is what I can bring
to this and it's to me this season rides or
(10:32):
dies on his shoulders. We were kind of saying that
last year, and you know, I don't know that if
you can understate the importance of it, and I think
it's all real, Like for people who are Aaron Rodgers haters,
I mean, look, you're gonna have to deal with it
this year when they start rolling off some wins and
getting the playoffs and they make a run because the
Jets fans are as fun as it gets in the
NFL in regards to how they feel about, you know,
(10:54):
their team, and if this thing gets going, like look out,
you know what.
Speaker 4 (10:58):
They were making the point last night and I thought
I was crazy until I started watching a little more.
But I don't know if it was Herb Street or
Herbstreet's dog or al Michaels, but they were making the
point that, you know, Rogers looks even better than he
did his final year in Green Bay, and he did
like he would like if you go back to that
final year. Wasn't like he didn't look or move around
the way that he did last night, Like it does
(11:20):
feel like he's found something and he's a different looking player.
And on the Robert Sawah exchange. I firmly believe this
that when Salah made the comment in the off season
of you know it was an unexcused absence, That's what
really set that whole debate in motion. And I think Rogers,
(11:42):
who remembers everything and remembers every slight and anybody's ever
said anything, I think that irked him. And I think
he still remembers that, still thinks about that, and I
think that's where some of this tension relies.
Speaker 3 (11:56):
Dangs like he carrying a grudge like that. I think
I think it's I think it's in perspective like if
you can put the which I don't know that we can,
but I mean, I think Brady's given a perspective where
I think that that's that's feasible. I think my perspective
on it could be feasible just just knowing how I
(12:17):
would look at somebody that way or in a moment
like that. But they could have they could have a
relationship where the respect factor, as Q's mentioning that respect
factor is like you know what I mean, like just
just trust me, Doug, Like just trust I do what
I do. That could be very well in context. They
(12:38):
could have that type of relationship. And we all know
when things get caught on camera, it could come across
a certain way and it could be read a certain
way and it can be interpreted a certain way, and
that doesn't necessarily make it correct. So I don't know,
but man, if it is because he's petty on on
how he handled him going to Egypt, and I mean,
that's that's an interesting one too in that moment, Like
(13:01):
in the moment and it's spare at the moment you
could actually have to deal with a rod having a
problem with you because it's something that you did that's
old under the bridge.
Speaker 1 (13:10):
What if it wasn't about the Egypt trip, it was
the fact that you went with James Vanderbeek, you know,
as opposed to like, you know what I'm saying. Maybe
he was like a hated Dawson's Creek, or he like
wasn't a big Varsity Blues fan, you know, I don't
want your life?
Speaker 5 (13:26):
Yeah, like it was something along those lines.
Speaker 3 (13:28):
That's fair.
Speaker 4 (13:29):
Yeah, no, I I I buy into that. Also, maybe
maybe he was.
Speaker 1 (13:33):
Like you should have taken me, Yeah, like I would
have missed this mini camp to be in Egypt with you, Eric,
because I know he took James Vanderbilt because I know I.
Speaker 4 (13:40):
Kind of feel the same way, Like Lorraine has taken
Lee to Disneyland today, Like I wanted to go, but
instead it's Lee going. So now there's an awkward tension
between Rain and I over this whole thing. So yeah,
I get it, Like makes all the sense in the world.
You next, Boo, you next? Oh No, I don't want it.
Speaker 3 (13:56):
No, I'm done second.
Speaker 5 (13:58):
Yeah, I don't.
Speaker 4 (13:59):
Damn. It is a two pros and a cup of Joe.
Speaker 3 (14:03):
Here on to ever again.
Speaker 4 (14:05):
Hey, by the way, we did see. We did see
Drake may get a little bit of burn time last
night there Jacoby Brissett was benched.
Speaker 3 (14:12):
Late in the game.
Speaker 4 (14:12):
I think there was like five minutes left in the game. Girodmeo,
the head coach.
Speaker 3 (14:17):
Uh.
Speaker 4 (14:17):
He was asked by the media about the potential of
this becoming a permanent thing. Drake Mayo is the quarterback
there in New England.
Speaker 3 (14:24):
Here was the exchange.
Speaker 2 (14:25):
He said, you were going to evaluate film on based
on quarterback performance?
Speaker 4 (14:29):
Is there a possibility to consider a change?
Speaker 3 (14:34):
I don't know. Look, we talk about every single week.
Speaker 6 (14:36):
You know, you're competing for a job.
Speaker 5 (14:37):
So we'll get together as a coaching staff and see
where it goes. Jacoby, you're at Texas, let me, Jacoby Brissette.
Speaker 4 (14:46):
Jacoby Brissette is not going to make it out of it.
Speaker 3 (14:49):
Hey man, he looked horrible yesterday. It looked good at all.
It didn't look good at all. And then and he
looked like he was relaxed and not looking good, like
you went to the satellite and like, you know, let's
look at it.
Speaker 1 (15:01):
See where we're at constantly under duress. I mean, how
he was dropping back and there's a dude running full speed.
Speaker 3 (15:07):
Out free free though, running free like they like on
that boot leg if the guy that doesn't play the game. Yeah, bro,
they was after him. And it didn't look it did
not look like schematically that it was about what the
Jets were doing. It just looked like schematically what the
Patriots were doing. It's like, how are two dudes on
(15:28):
the edge running free on a naked boot like I
don't understand that that doesn't compute, But.
Speaker 1 (15:34):
There's supposed to be one, just not too not too,
not too there's supposed to be one, hence the name
Naked Day.
Speaker 3 (15:43):
There was two, the inside guy and the outside guy
take a pic when they brought the safety down from
the from the blind side. They were just running free.
Like I could see if a guy is like TJ.
Watt Is, he's using his hands and he's BOSA. They're
using their hands and they're using their leverage points and
they're they're like, oh he bull rush anymore. These dudes
(16:07):
was running untouched. I've never I mean, I rarely can
say I've ever seen guys running so free to the quarterback.
I don't know that I can say I've seen so
many times within one game at the professional level where
guys were running just untouched. It's kind of weird to me.
Speaker 4 (16:26):
It is definitely is Jon's two pros on Fox Sports
Radio Labar Arrington, Brady Quinn, Jonas Knox with you.
Speaker 3 (16:37):
A lot of that going on in state colleague unreal.
Speaker 4 (16:41):
All right, So coming up next here from the Tyraq
dot com studios, we're going to find out more about
a big time decision in the NFL this past week,
and it's yours right here on FSR.
Speaker 2 (16:54):
Fox Sports Radio has the best sports talk lineup in
the nation. Catch all of our shows at foxsports Radio
dot Com and within the iHeartRadio app. Search FSR to

Speaker 8 (17:06):
Hey, we're Covino and Rich Fox Sports Radio every day
five to seven pm Eastern.
Speaker 3 (17:11):
But here's the thing.
Speaker 8 (17:12):
We never have enough time to get to everything we
want to get to and.
Speaker 9 (17:15):
That's why we have a brand new podcast called over Promised.
You see, we're having so much fun in our two
hour show. We never get to everything, honestly, because this
guy is over promising things.
Speaker 3 (17:27):
We never have time for.
Speaker 2 (17:28):
Yeah, you blubber list name in me.
Speaker 8 (17:29):
Well, you know what it's called over promise. You should
be good at it because you've been over promising women
for years. Well, it's a Cavino and Rich after show,
and we want you to be a part of it.
We're gonna be talking sports, of course, but we're also
gonna talk life and relationships. And if Rich and I
are arguing about something or we didn't have enough time,
it will continue on our after show.
Speaker 4 (17:46):
Called over Promised.
Speaker 8 (17:47):
Well, if you don't get enough Covino and Rich, make
sure you check out over Promised and also Uncensored, by
the way, so maybe we'll go at it even a
little harder. It's gonna be the best after show podcast
of all time.
Speaker 9 (17:58):
There you go over Promising. Remember you could see it
on YouTube, but definitely join us. Listen over Promised with

minutes from now from the tire rack dot Com studios.
(18:20):
We are going to close up shop with a Friday
edition of Lee's Leftovers. And I don't know if there's
going to be anything left over of Lee or Lorena
after today, because they are already pregaming. I mean not
literally in the sense that they're but just kind of
mapping out their Disney day. Oh and there's not a
shot in hell. They're sober by eleven am, no chance, good,
(18:41):
look fired up. They got everything, they got park hopper passes.
Lee's got a goofy Disney hat on already.
Speaker 3 (18:48):
P It is park hopping, meaning that one one park
is right across the little walkway, and you can go
into that one versus going to the other one that's
right across the walkway. Yes, you go, all right, Just
so people know what the you.
Speaker 4 (19:02):
Know the park hopping pass two for one, baby, two
for one.
Speaker 3 (19:07):
Both of them could get that work.
Speaker 4 (19:12):
So Lee's leftovers again a little over twenty minutes from
now here on FSR. And you know the one thing
about like if you're at one park and if you're
at the other park, like if you needed to get
in touch with each other, definitely a good way to
do that though.
Speaker 3 (19:27):
Yeah. Through Rappid radios. That's right, our thanks to a
Rappi radios, well official communication device of Fox Sports Radio.
That's right. If Lorraina is at one park and Lee
is at the other, they can use a Rappi radios.
It's an instant push to talk walkie talkie offering national
LTE coverage and no subscription or monthly fee. That's right.
(19:48):

alternative to mobile phones for your kids. For a limited time,
go to Rappid Radios dot com. Man you'll get up

Speaker 4 (20:09):
Hey, by the way, speaking of home games, Big Noons
in Columbus for tomorrow, isn't that right, Brady?
Speaker 5 (20:16):
That is correct here in Columbus.
Speaker 1 (20:17):
I got Marshall coming to town and take on the
buck Eyes there a forty point underdogs.
Speaker 3 (20:23):
So yeah, well come on, yeah, we'll.
Speaker 5 (20:26):
See what old Ohio State has in store coming off
the bi.
Speaker 3 (20:30):
Sure don't sleep on the Mac squads, you know what
I mean. There's some bend actually are they?
Speaker 5 (20:37):
Yes, used to be Mac though, used to be back
in the day they.
Speaker 3 (20:40):
Sweached when Randy Moss was there. They were actually at Pennington.
That would they was the Mac you.
Speaker 4 (20:45):
Know, just backing and packing the back in the back
of the act would be would be sweet to see
some signs about the show in the background you're still doing.
That would be sweet. So people there could get a
clue and put a sign together and.
Speaker 5 (21:00):
Take such honest at.
Speaker 4 (21:03):
So bad bit of love there or something like that,
you know, if it's a home game. Because I'm from Ohio,
I had like a little bit of a little bit
of respect being thrown.
Speaker 5 (21:13):
We're not from Ohio, Bud.
Speaker 3 (21:14):
So I also didn't make it. You wouldn't have made it.
I saw this though, wrong side of town for you.
Speaker 4 (21:20):
So we're going to be in State College for the
graduate next week. From next Friday, next week, we're going
to be getting rain. Looks like rains in the fog.
Speaker 5 (21:31):
We're a week out. It's just weather can change. We're
a week out.
Speaker 4 (21:35):
I'm just saying we could get a sloppy one between
Illinois and Penn State.
Speaker 3 (21:39):
I mean, come, come prepared to get wet. You do.
Some people can handle it very well better than others.
Speaker 4 (21:46):
I mean, you know, but there could be a lot
of momentum, a lot of momentum for Illinois if they
go on the road and get that work winter night.
Speaker 5 (21:54):
Yeah, it'll be interesting.
Speaker 3 (21:55):
I'm telling you.
Speaker 1 (21:56):
Illinois is a better team than people give them credit.
That Luke Oltmeyer quarterbacks mean good for them. Their defenses,
it's been up to snuff so far, so.
Speaker 5 (22:04):
It'll be It'll be a good game tonight.
Speaker 3 (22:05):
I take you one game out of time. Do it tonight.
Speaker 4 (22:09):
Plus, you gotta get you got a deal.
Speaker 3 (22:10):
Bringing the hate? Why are you bringing the hate the
state college. I'll make sure I tell everybody that you
was hating on us too when you get here. Who
is hating they coming?
Speaker 4 (22:18):
I'm trying to get you guys prepared. Stop like you
get the crews boys, coming in Olin Kreutz's two sons
play for Illinois.
Speaker 3 (22:24):
That's wonderful. Let you know, you know I did the
leap over top of Luke Buckets. Did you know that?
Did you really know that? Yeah?
Speaker 4 (22:32):
Buckus, Yeah, it was was it really?
Speaker 5 (22:35):
I did?
Speaker 3 (22:35):
I made the playover uh uh Dick Buckets is what
was his nephew? I believe nephew.
Speaker 2 (22:43):
I don't know.
Speaker 3 (22:44):
Yeah, we were all Americans coming out of high school
together too. I do believe he was his nephew. But
I did the leap over top of a Buckets, So
there you go.
Speaker 4 (22:53):
Damn.
Speaker 3 (22:54):
Anyway, Cruits was a cold mother effort. Boy, I'll tell
you that.
Speaker 5 (22:57):
I was going to say, that's Jonas's favorite Chicago bear,
I believe.
Speaker 3 (23:01):
Dude man.
Speaker 4 (23:02):
Probably certain, Yeah, probably because my brothers played center and
they were undersized, and he was the epitome of undersized center.
Speaker 3 (23:09):
But just violent, like you know what I loved about him.
He matched my balance of crazy like versus just playing, like,
like you do some crazy stuff and you you react weirdly,
like people don't shouldn't react the way that you know,
people like me react when you do something crazy, and
(23:30):
he did, and he kind of at first, it caught
me off guard, you know, like somebody does something crazy
and it's like, you know, people have to acknowledge that
it's crazy. Like we would both be out there laughing,
like you do something crazy, like body slam somebody or
you know, take somebody out or oh that was a
nasty chop block right there, Like yeah, going back to
(23:52):
the autole, like is this crazy?
Speaker 4 (23:54):
Mother? What's what's funny about the game tonight on, by
the way, eight pm Eastern Time on Fox Top ten
from Lincolns between Illinois and Nebraska. So yeah, Olin Cruz
and Dylan Royle's dad, Dominic Rayola, played on the same
offensive line together in high school in Hawaii Saint Louis
(24:16):
High and so now their sons are going to be
playing against each other Illinois versus Nebraska later on tonight.
So that's a fun.
Speaker 1 (24:23):
Pretty Yeah, we got some good matchups this weekend. USC's
headed to ann Arbor to take on Michigan. I would
lay the points with Southern cal you know, you know.
Speaker 4 (24:35):
What I wonder it's okay, that's that's what I want
to ask, because it does feel like now that Harbaugh's
gone and everyone, like anybody that had a problem with Michigan.
People in Columbus whatever, it was like, all right, well
they've beaten us a bunch of years in a row.
They might be the best team in college. Well, but
they are a bunch of cheaters and they've been exposed.
And then Michigan goes on and runs the table anyways
(24:57):
and wins the whole thing. Now that it does feel
like it was all or nothing last year and they're
sort of doctor ling. It feels like it's open, like
nobody gives them a.
Speaker 1 (25:08):
Shot this weekend against USC. No, Like, the USC is
so much improved defensively, all they have to do is
stop the run. I mean, alex Orgy has not showcase
the ability to throw the football, so if they stopped
the run, they should be able to take care of business.
I think the defense is gonna have a hard time
matching up with USC's wide receivers. And that offensive line
(25:30):
for USC is the other group that's really improved, much
better pass pro much better running the football, getting push.
Speaker 5 (25:37):
I mean, it's it's.
Speaker 3 (25:38):
Canna ask a question, Yeah, would this team be talked
about this way if if Hardball was still the coach,
or would they be still overachieving?
Speaker 5 (25:50):
Or what they would be talked about the exact same way.
Although I mean, who knows.
Speaker 3 (25:53):
Got out he got out at the right time. Was
it like a like what Pete Carroll did, Like he
got out he knew all of them dudes was leaving,
like got out at the right time.
Speaker 1 (26:01):
He I mean they had thirteen dudes drafted off that team,
Like almost half their team was upperclassmen, like guys who
had decided to come back, et cetera.
Speaker 3 (26:08):
I mean it was they literally went all in to
win last year until one year all in deal and
I'm out, Mike.
Speaker 1 (26:16):
Dron there out. So here's the other thing I'm curious
to ask you. This weekend on Fox, Utah heads to
still Water take on Oklahoma State three pm Eastern time.
You could do the math for the other time zones.
But the point is we have two quarterbacks. Possibly we
don't know the health status of Cam Rising was in
(26:36):
the year year seven. I haven't heard of that college career.
Speaker 8 (26:39):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (26:39):
I was just gonna say, like, if there's any program
that you're just like, that's a toss up who's gonna start.
But assuming Cam Rising does start for Utah and obviously
Alan Bowman, who's the starting quarterback at Oklahoma State is
also in his seventh year in college. These two have
a combined age of forty nine years old. Now, mind you,
(27:01):
this upcoming weekend, the Bears are taking on the Innapolis Colts,
and both the combined ages of Caleb Williams and Anthony Richardson,
who's in his second year in the NFL, it's forty
four four years old.
Speaker 5 (27:17):
There's a five year gap. Like, am I notsor like?
Speaker 1 (27:21):
What is wrong with college football allowing dudes to be
in school forever?
Speaker 5 (27:26):
I mean, you're not a doctor.
Speaker 4 (27:29):
I mean, look, you got to get back that time
you lost during COVID, you know, and if you got
an opportunity to milk it as long as you can,
why the hell not?
Speaker 3 (27:36):
I mean not tight end anybody like he can make
money just off of giving up a prep course on
how to lengthen your lengthen your career.
Speaker 4 (27:45):
Yeah, what is Cam McCormick up to?
Speaker 3 (27:47):
Nice here?
Speaker 5 (27:49):
He's gonna touchdown?
Speaker 3 (27:49):
Catch?
Speaker 4 (27:52):
Is he the oldest player to score touchdown in college
football history?
Speaker 5 (27:55):
That's a great question.
Speaker 3 (27:56):
He might be up there?
Speaker 2 (27:57):
Can he look that up?
Speaker 4 (27:58):
Oldest player to score a touch down in college football history?
It might be camccormick. It literally was in the same
recruiting class as Justin Herbert. Okay, that is how old
that guy is and he's still playing at Miami.
Speaker 3 (28:11):
He's just getting weird.
Speaker 4 (28:12):
Man.
Speaker 1 (28:12):
It's like the guy who's like two or three years
out of high school when he keeps coming back to
hang out of the Friday night lights high school game,
to hang out with high school check.
Speaker 3 (28:21):
What is letterman jacket on? I'm the dumbing that though
I go down the page, it's over. I'll put my
letterman jacket on if I go back to the high
school or to college, like when it gets cold here,
I'll put my letterman jacket on.
Speaker 5 (28:34):
And look, man, I get it. Like for all those
out there, we're just speaking tongue in cheek.
Speaker 3 (28:38):
You know.
Speaker 1 (28:39):
For some of these guys, they have the financial incentive
to come back because they'll be able to make more
as a college quarterback in year seven than potentially getting
drafted and playing in the NFL. There's no guarantees there.
They can improve their draft stock.
Speaker 5 (28:52):
That's part of it.
Speaker 1 (28:52):
Cam Rising had a season ending injury last year, so
that's part of this. Now he's got a hand he
dislocated a finger and had to have some stitches putting.
He's got a laceration on his throwing hand, apparently from
from like hitting a water cooler as he was going
out of bounds. But that's the injury he's dealing with
this week. But I understand, like why these guys are
in school that long. It's just a better question of
(29:13):
like should they be allowed to be? Like are we
really continuing to provide that much eligibility for guys to
essentially become Van Wilder at the college football ranks?
Speaker 3 (29:23):
It's great, man, think it'd be a great movie. I'll
tell you that. What does that look like? When he
goes out? He's having a nice twenty eight years old
hanging out with nice.
Speaker 1 (29:36):
Nice glass of scotch, probably sitting there somewhere in the
lounge area of like a nice steakhouse in town.
Speaker 3 (29:42):
Now, he hanging out with the donors. He hanging out
with the boosters.
Speaker 5 (29:46):
In the old he's eating dinner at five pm.
Speaker 3 (29:49):
You know, in about seven thirty eight o'clock.
Speaker 4 (29:54):
Is is cam McCormick. Is there a chance he would
get drafted?
Speaker 3 (30:00):
All right? Now?
Speaker 4 (30:01):
I know you know his numbers, aren't you know? Eye popping?
He's got two catches on the year and a touchdown.
But if he were to get drafted, he turns twenty
seven in April, which means he'd be twenty seven years
old when they draft him. So this say it's I
don't think it's Chris Wank. Who was Chris Wink?
Speaker 5 (30:17):
He was like thirty, Brandon Whedon was older. To see
Mana Wheden was like twenty nine.
Speaker 4 (30:21):
Did they go on their mission? Is that what happened?
Speaker 5 (30:24):
Brandon WII played baseball?
Speaker 3 (30:26):
Okay?
Speaker 5 (30:26):
Well when he played baseball?
Speaker 3 (30:27):
All right?
Speaker 4 (30:28):

Earlier in the show, we talked about the Zoo and
Northern China that admitted that they're Pandas were not in
fact pandas, They were dogs painted as pandas. I think
they were trying to get one by us.
Speaker 3 (31:53):
I don't know.
Speaker 4 (31:54):
Who's fooled, but they finally admitted it. Good for them
the chows correct, Yeah, the chows.
Speaker 10 (31:59):
Yeah, yeah, painted black and good job by them. Did
you guys see this story out of Thailand.
Speaker 3 (32:06):
Child's had black tongues? What Oh yeah, I guess y'all
didn't know that, but you might know that. You mightn't
know child child had black tongues.
Speaker 10 (32:13):
Now we all know that, guys. Uh, you see this
story out of Thailand. This woman was saved.
Speaker 5 (32:25):
She was being uh.
Speaker 10 (32:28):
What is it tiger strangled by a python for more
than two hours. Her neighborhooder, screaming for help, finally came over.
Speaker 3 (32:36):
For two hours. Yeah, that was a strong lady.
Speaker 5 (32:39):
Yeah she's alive.
Speaker 3 (32:40):
Yeah, thank god, she is alive. So how did the
lady get to the off after two hours?
Speaker 10 (32:47):
Well, the neighborhoard her scream for help, and the whole uh,
the whole neighborhood came and rescued her from the python.
Speaker 4 (32:54):
By the way, you know what's great about this, there's
video of it. So they thought, well, hold on, we
gotta get this on record or before we rescue her,
see this, Can.
Speaker 3 (33:03):
You send that over and just dding what does that
look like getting strangled?
Speaker 2 (33:08):
I don't know.
Speaker 4 (33:08):
He's like sitting up right, and like she looks like
she's in like a bathroom or something, and it's they
just wrapped around her.
Speaker 3 (33:17):
Did it catch a case? Did they arrested like she
had like marks on herself? Did it get it? Did it?
Did it escape? Get away? Like what happened here?
Speaker 4 (33:25):
Like wouldn't you just like like put your fingers in
its eyes?
Speaker 3 (33:29):
You know at that point, as always, you always have
a solution until you find yourself in the situation.
Speaker 10 (33:34):
You know what I mean, grabbed her in the kitchen
where he got her, grabbed her, snagged her? Say what
else we got late?
Speaker 4 (33:44):
Uh?
Speaker 5 (33:44):
Guys, did you see this Roman?
Speaker 10 (33:45):
Roman Dunesay's father put out a tweet basically showing his
son getting wide open while Kayleb Williams was throwing out
the great and uh, you didn't really give any context
to it, but everyone's thinking he's going after Dan Rolofsky,
who was being critical of Caleb Williams or excuse me,
critical of a Roman?
Speaker 3 (34:04):
Didn't it? Didn't another do this before?
Speaker 4 (34:08):
Odell's right back on Odell did it to Baker Mayfield?
How'd that work out for everybody?
Speaker 3 (34:14):
Man, God lead these dads. Y'all need to chill out, Dad.
Speaker 4 (34:19):
Dang okay to you know, it just uh, I mean
they got problems that you know. There is a recipe though,
just run the ball if if you're the Bears this
weekend because the Colts rush defense is awful. I think
they have a looted almost five hundred yards on the
ground in two games. Yeah, it's terrible.
Speaker 3 (34:40):
What's going on?
Speaker 4 (34:41):
By the way, Lorena has a uh, she has an
idea here. How do you want to finish the show?
Speaker 3 (34:46):
Right? Right?
Speaker 4 (34:46):
I think we should.
Speaker 2 (34:47):
Finish all right?
Speaker 4 (34:51):
A way to stick the landing Sunday, alright,
