Where does spring fall in your guys' favorite seasons during
(01:00):
course of the year? Probably third for me, third, yeah,
behind which summer and.
Speaker 5 (01:08):
Fall falls number one for me.
Speaker 6 (01:11):
Man the temperature, the smells football, I just falls the
best and then summer, then spring.
Speaker 2 (01:17):
Summer, summer feels so free, like even though like the
job we do, we still we go all year rounds.
But growing up, my mom was a teacher, so summer
was always the best because she got off those months.
So that always seemed to like really resonate with me,
(01:38):
is our time together as a family. But fall was
always football, you know, so coming out of summer going
into you know, the fall, which obviously led to I mean,
isn't football considered a winter sport? Maybe is it considered
winter goes into winter. I don't know, but I like
(01:59):
the fact that we start and fall like it's it's
come out of the summer, go into the fall type
of deal and then right into you know, the winter
of the year. I just like that. I like chronologically
how they fall, summer and fall. Uh yeah, I like those.
Speaker 4 (02:20):
I don't know, man, a spring might be there at
the top of the list for me now older, I
get I don't know why, Y yeah, I don't know why. Well,
because in California you don't really get a fall. It's
like nice, I'm just.
Speaker 6 (02:30):
Gonna say, what the hell are you talking about? John's
summer and like lesser summer.
Speaker 2 (02:37):
Weather has been poor lately. Yeah, I mean in my estimation.
I mean, I don't know. It's different in different places,
Like like I over here, it's it's a lot of rain.
Speaker 4 (02:47):
But when we were in State College, like I loved,
like you got to experience a little bit of fall.
When we went to Keenland, you got to drive through
and experience a little bit of fall. And it was
offome in California, all you get is ninety degrees and
some hippie drinking a pumpkin latte. Like that's it.
Speaker 2 (03:05):
We don't really guss over in your area. Man. It's
not always that sunny over here. Man. Like when I
lived in Glendora, it had more desert type conditions, like
it would get super super hot, like dryer. Ever since
I came back into the East or South Bay, it's
it's different. It's like it's like I'm asking the neighbors
(03:27):
because I lived in Manhattan, but now being here again
after all these years, it's like I forget what the
weather patterns are. Like I'm asking the neighbors, like is
it ever going to get any better than this? So
I don't know, you know, you know, i'd like it
to get to ninety degrees over here. Can you send
(03:47):
some of that this way? Please have that?
Speaker 4 (03:50):
It is uh, you'll burn up, it is. It is
Master's Week nineties. Now we may we were discussing this
yesterday throughout the course of the week as well. Do
we do a redraw names out of the hat depending
on where each of our competitors are at. So there's
well that begs the question though, Lee, do you have
(04:11):
an estimated or a projected cut line as of right now,
because that will give us a sense whether or not
we we stick with the names or we draw more.
Speaker 5 (04:21):
I think everyone's in the mix. I don't.
Speaker 7 (04:24):
I was gonna say, I think everyone's still in it.
Speaker 4 (04:28):
I projected is plus one?
Speaker 5 (04:31):
Oh okay, well that changes things. I think speed is
plus one, isn't.
Speaker 4 (04:35):
He He's yeah, yes, it's up to you guys.
Speaker 5 (04:42):
I'll do it.
Speaker 6 (04:42):
I mean it's it's a lot of more work on
Lee's shoulders. So I didn't want to do it the
first time. However, you guys want to do it.
Speaker 4 (04:50):
I'm in with you, guys.
Speaker 7 (04:52):
Well, what I have is the top ten names that
we haven't picked yet.
Speaker 6 (04:56):
The I was just to say, like Justin Rose was
not a part of that Tyrrel hadn't probably not not
a part of it.
Speaker 4 (05:02):
Didn't I draw Cory Conners the first time? Almost positively?
Did I not?
Speaker 2 (05:06):
No? Misheard?
Speaker 7 (05:08):
Yeah, right now we have Scotty Scheffler and Ludwig at
the top of the odds, which we, of course we
already have picked Jonas and LeVar. Jonas has Scotty, LeVar
has got Ludwig. We got a Shambo is still in there,
justin rows.
Speaker 2 (05:22):
Nobody has. I've got Rory.
Speaker 7 (05:24):
There's Corey Connor's like you said, Tyrol Hatton and was
not in there. Colin McCalla is still Shane Lowry. We
could pick from those. We can get some more names. Yeah,
let's do another redraw.
Speaker 4 (05:36):
Get out of here, let's do this. Let's come on, Yeah,
come on, let's go.
Speaker 2 (05:40):
Var let's go.
Speaker 4 (05:41):
Let's go. Let's redraw it here. You don't have Lorena's not.
Speaker 5 (05:44):
Give us a golf clap, give us a golf clap bar.
Speaker 2 (05:46):
Yeah all right.
Speaker 4 (05:48):
So Lee is actually just taking off his Travis Matthew
hat that was used to cover up the fourth degree
burns he got from the streets of New Orleans while
out there for Super Bowl week. Uh, here we go.
He's got his hat off.
Speaker 3 (06:03):
Now.
Speaker 4 (06:04):
If you know anything about LeVar and Brady, their arms
are long and strong. Whoa, there they are going, brother?
So who goes? Who wants to go first? Reaching into
the hat? LeVar, LaVar, you get the longest arm here.
Speaker 5 (06:18):
Why don't you?
Speaker 2 (06:20):
Jonas?
Speaker 4 (06:21):
What are you doing?
Speaker 5 (06:23):
Lion?
Speaker 4 (06:24):
You ain't lying water? Cold wing? My wing span is long, brother,
reach into this hat.
Speaker 2 (06:31):
Here we go. Here we go, long arms, I'm reaching
into with them, long ass? Are there? We go? All right?
What we got?
Speaker 4 (06:39):
Calling Morikawa? Yeah, mister, I don't know who I called
the first time. Well remember he was the guy who
didn't want to talk to the media, and oh yeah
that's right.
Speaker 2 (06:50):
Yeah, there you go. I like him.
Speaker 4 (06:52):
All right, let's go, Braden. You want to give a
You want to reach your long ass arm into the trying.
Speaker 2 (06:57):
I'm trying to reach in there.
Speaker 5 (06:59):
Let me get what I'm second? Yeah, all right, I
got it?
Speaker 2 (07:03):
Watch that knuckle?
Speaker 4 (07:04):
Oh little little Xander Schafflee. Okay, can I get ah?
Can I get a tall beer and a Xander Schafflee?
Speaker 2 (07:11):
Please? Can you please past the Xander?
Speaker 4 (07:16):
I will reach in to Lee's hat. Hold on a second,
is it?
Speaker 2 (07:20):
No?
Speaker 4 (07:20):
That's a michelob hold on, let me let me find this.
Speaker 2 (07:23):
That's a beat box?
Speaker 4 (07:26):
A right? Who the hell is ox Shay Batia?
Speaker 5 (07:32):
Oh yeah, yeah he can play.
Speaker 2 (07:34):
Yeah, he's lefty.
Speaker 4 (07:36):
Forty five plus forty five hundred.
Speaker 5 (07:39):
Yeah, so what he's got. He's got a good game.
Speaker 7 (07:41):
Yeah, he's doing good.
Speaker 5 (07:42):
And you guys, you guys are built the exact sand.
Speaker 4 (07:43):
By the way, there's a better chance of a t
rex winning the master.
Speaker 2 (07:47):
Have you?
Speaker 5 (07:47):
Have you seen his bill?
Speaker 3 (07:48):
Though?
Speaker 6 (07:48):
You should look him up. You guys are like all
the work you do in the weight room. He looked
the exact same, is he jack too?
Speaker 5 (07:54):
Yeah? Go to a a look at him.
Speaker 7 (07:56):
Sh he looks skinny, but they say he's pretty tall.
Speaker 4 (08:00):
Enough, Shade botiaht see.
Speaker 2 (08:04):
Didn he play for green Bay after you? Brady?
Speaker 5 (08:07):
You know what, I'm just saying, all that hard that
hard work. That's about one of the quids too.
Speaker 4 (08:12):
The insulted you ever said to me? That one takes a.
Speaker 2 (08:18):
Lee?
Speaker 4 (08:18):
Who you drawn?
Speaker 7 (08:20):
All right, let's be here there. You know I did
find an empty beat box in my gym bag yesterday.
Speaker 4 (08:26):
Lee.
Speaker 5 (08:27):
Why would you have a beat box in your gym bag?
Speaker 2 (08:29):
And why would you find it? Well?
Speaker 7 (08:34):
Because I hadn't been to the gym and a minute,
that's why I found it.
Speaker 5 (08:38):
Okay, But why was in your workout bag?
Speaker 7 (08:40):
I don't Well, a lot of things make their way
into the workout bag, but sometimes.
Speaker 6 (08:45):
It's not really a workout bag. It's just a bag
you carry stuff on.
Speaker 7 (08:49):
It's got my workout stuff in it mostly, and a
big box. Sometimes sometimes you need an emergency refreshment.
Speaker 4 (08:55):
You imagine sets up next to the preacher curl bench
and he reaches in for a water and a beat
box falls out.
Speaker 5 (09:05):
What an out.
Speaker 2 (09:09):
We got?
Speaker 5 (09:10):
All right?
Speaker 7 (09:10):
I have got Victor Offland all right?
Speaker 2 (09:14):
There you go.
Speaker 4 (09:14):
Yeah, so none of those are winning?
Speaker 2 (09:17):
All right?
Speaker 7 (09:17):
So yeah, and I'll draw for Lreta here real quick,
here we go.
Speaker 4 (09:22):
Why does she get a draw? She did show up today,
that's true.
Speaker 7 (09:25):
That whatever she gets Jason Day, that's actually a good one.
Speaker 2 (09:29):
He made sure he got his. Though. You know, you
gotta look out for your teammates.
Speaker 7 (09:33):
Now that one's for Mark. How about that Mark gets?
Speaker 2 (09:36):
Just don't let Jonas uh mess up what you got
going on, you know, protect your situations. What do you mean?
What what you made? Like? Loraina's not here, but she's
here in spirit and you know lead the lap is
making sure you draw.
Speaker 4 (09:54):
Yeah, yeah, okay.
Speaker 6 (09:55):
Are we not going to ever get a visit from
Live bed Jesus? I mean the term is gonna be
over by Monday. You're off anyways.
Speaker 4 (10:00):
Why would he show up the way you treat him?
Speaker 5 (10:02):
Why we'll maybe he tried to like spite us.
Speaker 4 (10:06):
You know, it's like beating your dog every day and
then tell him to attack the neighbor when he pulls
a knife, Like, no, you figure that out?
Speaker 6 (10:12):
WHOA, Maybe if he actually could pick a winner for
once in his life. You know, I'm not I'm not
asking for much. This is all our listeners want. It's
for him to show up, give us a winner, and
sit the hell downright.
Speaker 2 (10:28):
Bet Jesus, are you listening?
Speaker 5 (10:30):
Hell?
Speaker 6 (10:33):
I mean, I know that he's probably gonna pick the
over under on you know, some player on some hole
where he's got to tap in six inch putt for
parr and the over unders is gonna be said it
like boguers. It's gonna be something ridiculous, but that's typically
what he does.
Speaker 4 (10:47):
Didn't he win his last bet? No mosto Lee Lee
told me during the break that he was like hitting.
Speaker 2 (10:55):
It it was the game he showed up in like the eighth,
the bottom of the.
Speaker 4 (10:59):
Eighth, and he lost the game. A lost Tokyo. It
was his first loss in a couple of years.
Speaker 2 (11:05):
That was your first time back.
Speaker 4 (11:07):
But it's it's just typical what have you done for
me lately? In mentality, man, you guys are like dealing
with NBA players. It's like he just you know, he
wins most of his bets, he loses one and he
gets Mike Malone.
Speaker 6 (11:17):
The reason why we keep associating him with you is
he's just as bad at betting, I mean, absolutely awful.
Speaker 5 (11:23):
That's and kind of some of how your bracket went.
Speaker 6 (11:26):
Yeah, well not even ever in contention, I can't talk
trash on that one.
Speaker 4 (11:30):
Well, why should I be held accountable for Saint John's
inability to hit a shot against Arkansas? That's really where
the bracket was.
Speaker 5 (11:38):
That sounds like you, Jonas, That sounds like you.
Speaker 4 (11:40):
I'm not going to be held accountable for that. Yeah,
don't take responsibility for your awful gambling. Point the finger
and out the thumb. That's a rule around here. Well, listen,
it is a two pros and a cup of joe
here on Fox Sports radio. Maybe live bet Jesus will
appear at some point to defend his reputation here and
pick us a winner. I don't even know if these
(12:02):
guys even teed off yet. They were supposed to tee
off like a half hour ago.
Speaker 2 (12:06):
All I know is this music is going to make
me go jump. What are you going to jump soon?
Jump walk slow into the water and don't turn around,
jump jump off my roof. I don't know I'm going
to do something soon. I can't take this music anymore. Man.
By the way, ridiculous? Is it over? Like when we
get to Monday, we won't have this music anymore.
Speaker 4 (12:28):
Right, Brady's guy, Raphael compos is at even par through
one hole?
Speaker 2 (12:33):
What is Ca Davis had to do with the music?
Speaker 4 (12:36):
Cam Davis?
Speaker 6 (12:37):
We will have different music on Monday. Yes, the tournament
is over on Sunday. Well, I trust me, You and
I will have different music on Monday, Tuesday.
Speaker 2 (12:46):
We're definitely playing you and I.
Speaker 4 (12:48):
Yeah, if you recap it, you gotta play it part time.
You got to play the master's theme if you recap it, yeah,
you gotta do that.
Speaker 2 (12:55):
Yeah. If we recap it, yeah, yeah, okay, that's correct.
You yo, Well done, well done.
Speaker 4 (13:03):
It is two pros and a cup of Joe here
on Fox Sports Radio.
Speaker 2 (13:06):
Go get valid to funeral music, you know.
Speaker 5 (13:10):
By the way.
Speaker 4 (13:10):
You know, if somebody was a real golf face and
they passed away and that was the song they played
at their wake.
Speaker 6 (13:19):
That actually would be pretty badass too, though, if you
play this sort of music and like this is where
I'm sending you. You know, if you were threatening someone
you started playing funeral music and you're like, you're about
to hear this in heaven.
Speaker 2 (13:31):
Mmm. Interesting?
Speaker 5 (13:33):
You don't think that'd be a little bit of like
a strong move.
Speaker 4 (13:36):
No, I don't know what the going in on that one, bro, Yeah,
I need something to hear you more dramatic, you know.
Speaker 6 (13:43):
Like if you walk in with a casket and that
music playing. Imagine a UFC fight. The guy literally comes
out with a casket and he's just like, this is
what I'm gonna put you in once we're done with
this fight.
Speaker 2 (13:55):
It's a good move.
Speaker 5 (13:56):
And he's playing funeral music the whole time.
Speaker 2 (13:58):
Like the Undertaker, he's.
Speaker 5 (14:00):
Got a priest there.
Speaker 6 (14:01):
The priest is like blessing the other guy, like like
Paul his last writes, you.
Speaker 5 (14:05):
Know, Tang just that'd be kind of hard.
Speaker 4 (14:09):
It would be okay, but then if he got knocked out,
it would look kind of foolish.
Speaker 2 (14:14):
That would be bad.
Speaker 6 (14:15):
If he can Yeah, they actually might use that to
carry you out. If they might put you in there.
Speaker 5 (14:20):
It could backfire. That could really backfire on you.
Speaker 4 (14:22):
Let me know how comfortable it is.
Speaker 6 (14:24):
Yeah, that would be the joke that you brought your
own casket. That would look really bad.
Speaker 4 (14:28):
So, uh it is. Uh, it is Two Pros and
a Cup of Joe here on a Football Friday, speaking
of which we are going to tell you about how
somebody in the NFL is maybe trying to predict the
future of the NFL Draft. That'll be yours here on FSR.
Speaker 3 (14:43):
Be sure to catch live editions of Two Pros and
a Cup of Joe with Brady Quinn, LeVar Arrington, and
Jonas Knox weekdays at six am Eastern three am Pacific
on Fox Sports Radio and the iHeartRadio app.
Speaker 4 (14:59):
Two Pros and a Up at Joe Fox Sports Radio,
LaVar Arrington, Brady Quinn, Jonas Knox with you here. By
the way, somebody's listening to the show. That's somebody live.
Bet Jesus because he has sent out a tweet, So
(15:19):
maybe you have pissed him off, Brady, Maybe you have
done it and you've pissed him off. We've also got
a little bit of breaking news here. I don't know
if this is breaking news, but some news that just
came out via Adam Schefter. We were mentioning Deshaun Watson
in his motivational video he sent out.
Speaker 2 (15:36):
You know.
Speaker 4 (15:38):
According to Adam Schefter, the Cleveland Browns and Joe Flacco
have reached agreement on a one year, four million dollars
deal that can be worth up to thirteen million dollars
with incentives. Flacco will return to Cleveland, where he won
the NFL's Comeback Player of the Year in twenty twenty three.
So congratulations to the clear Brown's get ready to go
(16:02):
wacko for Flacco there because he is back.
Speaker 2 (16:04):
That's their response to the.
Speaker 4 (16:07):
Sweet video. Brother, you want to come at us? Huh yeah, so.
Speaker 2 (16:12):
We'll show you.
Speaker 4 (16:13):
Yeah. So Joe Flacco, yikes, Yeah, Joe Flacco is now
back in Cleveland with the Browns. Listen. It's hard to
argue with the success he had there, I mean, with
him with Baker Mayfield, Like there was a level of
success with Kevin Stefanski. So the fact that they're making
this move, I don't know if this completely, you know,
(16:37):
precludes them from taking a quarterback at two or maybe
somewhere in the draft. But if you believe any of
those betting odds, Travis Hunter is believed to go number
two to the Browns, and at least now they've got
while they wait for Deshaun Watson to maybe come back
at the tail end of this year, at least they've
got a guy who performed well in Stefanski system a
couple of years ago and Joe Flacco make his return.
Speaker 6 (17:00):
He performed decent last year in Indianapolis. I mean personally,
statistically speaking, it was an uptick from what they were
getting from Anthony Richardson. And even though the record, the
win lost record didn't reflect it. I mean, look, they
moved on from Gus Bradley, their defense really struggled. It
was more to do with that than anything else. And
(17:21):
I think if you look at why he didn't sign
back there in the first place, it supposedly had a
lot to do with Deshaun Watson and his representation not
wanting flak Or to be back there again. Given that
he had led the Browns on a ridiculous run into
the playoffs. That was supposedly what the rationale was why
(17:43):
he wasn't back last year as a Cleveland Brown and
instead ended up going at thirty nine years old to
the Annapolis Colts. So I would say this kind of
puts a fork into Deshaun Watson coming back for the
Browns at any point. I wouldn't be shocked now if
the Browns they might take Hunter with that first round pick,
but do not be surprised at all if the Browns
(18:03):
don't find a way of taking a quarterback, maybe trading
up in the back end of the first or taking
one in the second or third round.
Speaker 2 (18:12):
Did they have to do a new contract with Kenny
Pickett or are they still working on his rookie contract?
I believe they.
Speaker 6 (18:21):
Well, I thought Kenny picketted up signing a different deal
in Philly.
Speaker 2 (18:25):
I can look that up now. Ye, that could be correct.
That you could be correct, because here's my thing. Kenny
Pickett is young, and he's a forgotten about commodity in
a lot of ways. Because it didn't go the way
it was supposed to go for him in Pittsburgh and
then boom, He's gone. How many people would debate and
(18:46):
argue that Kenny Pickett got a raw deal going to
getting drafted by Pittsburgh.
Speaker 5 (18:50):
Oh, no doubt about.
Speaker 2 (18:51):
It hasn't worked out for any other quarterback, right, So.
Speaker 6 (18:55):
Yeah, So he's actually in the last year of his
rookie deal, so you already's still on rookie deal and
he will he his fifth year option is available. So
it'll be interesting to see what the Browns decide to
do because if he comes in and plays, it could
be a kind of Daniel Jones situation where if you
(19:15):
look at the Daniel Jones New York Giants steal, had
they just picked up the fifth year option, they would
have never been put in the position to, you know,
franchise tax saque for the year, agree to the long
term deal Jones, which then got them in because the
next year after that they're stuck with the deal with
Daniel Jones, they can't work out a long term deal
with Saquon Barkley.
Speaker 5 (19:35):
He ends up leaving.
Speaker 6 (19:36):
He goes to the Eagles, like there's there's all those
issues that came from that. So what they decide to
do with Picket and they have to this offseason. They
can't wait till obviously after this year is going to
be interesting.
Speaker 2 (19:50):
I think that that quarterback room with Pickett and now
adding Flacco, I think there's potential there. I really do.
I think there's potential there, and that potential is Flacco
can come in. He knows the offense, He's had success
(20:12):
in it. People are fond of him. He brings a
leadership quality, a veteran quality. It stabilizes in my estimation,
it stabilizes what they have going on because of the
familiarity with him. I think that along with last year,
can he Pickett got a really good probably lesson in
(20:35):
how to be that type of quarterback from Jalen Hurts
as well, a stable personality, someone that the players relate
to and buy into. I think Kenny Pickett's last this year,
going into this year gives him the opportunity to compete
for that starting job and if he can't win it,
(21:00):
if he can't get it this season, then you have
Flacco to fall back on, and then you want you
worry about if you get a quarterback later in this
draft or if you go after a quarterback in next
year's draft. But I think that it takes It alleviates,
in my estimation, the pressure of trying to figure out
(21:21):
the quarterback's position now by having someone to go with
Kenny Pickett, because I think we were estimating either it's
a draft pick or it's going to be Kenny Pickett
that's probably starting for this team next year. So now
I adding Flacco, I think that that really gives them
a stability that maybe you didn't look at or see
(21:42):
that they had right now at this moment.
Speaker 4 (21:45):
It probably closes the door on Kirk Cousins to Cleveland
as well too. So yeah, how that limits, no doubt
his potential, which would have made some sense from the
standpoint that you know, he had good years with Stefanski
in Minnesota and so now he's just going to be
in Atlanta. And you know, if a team decides after
the draft, because that was Kirk cousins big feeling was
(22:07):
I don't want to have happened last year happen again,
and so after the draft maybe they start to, you know,
look at potentially making a move. But they picked up
his ten million dollar option. Cleveland was thought to be
the team that would be most interested with potentially Pittsburgh
as a fallback plan, but now you look at it
and you go, all right, maybe he just sticks around
(22:28):
in Atlanta to be the backup to Michael Pennix, which,
by the way, Pennix has dealt with injury stuff in
his career in college as well. Too serious serious, It's
not like, you know, maybe you will need to depend
on Kirk Cousins at some point. So so that's the
latest on the Cleveland Browns quarterback saga. As Deshaun Watson
continues to post high videos. So maybe he should have
(22:51):
waited until this came out and then post.
Speaker 2 (22:53):
It, because maybe they waited until they saw that post
come out for them to post it.
Speaker 4 (22:58):
And they're like, we got to go to the bullpen, Joe,
what are you doing? Like Deshaun Watson did what Joe
this guy did?
Speaker 2 (23:05):
Okay, we got something for that. We got something for.
Speaker 4 (23:09):
It, hey, Joe, this day this guy didn't get it.
How's four million?
Speaker 2 (23:12):
All right?
Speaker 4 (23:13):
Come on down?
Speaker 2 (23:15):
So there we go, bro, he still gets to sit
there with his backup against the wall with two hundred
and thirty million, you know, connected to that wall, right,
you know, getting beat down and stepped on and caring
about what people think. It's still you know, you know
he's got he's got nothing to lose, you know what
I mean, just everything to gain, So good luck to him.
Speaker 4 (23:38):
By the way, Jason Light the Bucks GM, he was
speaking about the potential and moving up moving around in
the NFL Draft, this upcoming in a couple of weeks
from now, and he spoke about his thought process heading
into this draft.
Speaker 8 (23:54):
There have been years where I've been more. I've thought
about it more than others. It just kind of depends
on how things fall. You can't walk into and say it.
I am definitely looking to trade back because you don't
know what's going to fall to you. So I do
think this year is going to be I could be wrong.
You're going to see maybe a little less people wanting
(24:16):
to move up and offering enough to make it worth
your while, just because I think the draft is pretty
leveled out at a certain point, so you might be
able to get the same player in the second round,
the same level of players you can in the fourth round,
so at certain positions, so I think you'll maybe see
a little bit less of that.
Speaker 4 (24:37):
So it's the greater unknown in the draft this year
to where it I just I hope something dramatic and
drastic happens, because it's going to make it that much
more exciting. But it doesn't feel like there's a lot
of spice heading into this thing.
Speaker 6 (24:51):
Wasn't that the exact opposite of what Albert Breer was
saying He kind of felt like there might be a
lot of moving this year as compared to last year.
Speaker 4 (24:59):
Yeah, I mean maybe, And the thought is you've got
Abdul Carter, You've got Travis Hunter and Ashton Genty maybe
and then after that it, you know, maybe it's just
kind of everybody all lined up together when it comes
to top talents in the draft. But it just feels
like cam Ward's gonna go one, Travis Hunter is going
to go two. Abdul Carter made a visit with the Giants,
(25:22):
there's a feeling he's going to go there. And then
after that it's, you know, we'll see where everything lines up.
Potentially will Campbell at four? Like it just it feels
like everything's kind of already I don't want to say
locked up, but barring a drastic trade up, I just
shad Or Sanders is really the storyline everyone's paying attention to.
Speaker 2 (25:43):
You think he could end up there.
Speaker 4 (25:46):
Or in Tampa yeah, probably not.
Speaker 2 (25:51):
I would say, O line D line cornerback. That's what
I would think, O line D line cornerback. They need coverage.
And when I say D line, I'm saying they need
an edge. They they need to bring in someone who
can can really really pressure the quarterback. In my estimation,
(26:13):
can't hurt to have a guy that could play all
the positions across the board. And so that would be
to me, I feel like, would be a great, tremendous,
you know, deal for them. I mean, I think they're
going to focus defense. That's that's what I think. I mean, obviously,
that's what people are reporting on and talking about, is
that they need an edge, they need coverage. They're even
(26:36):
saying they need a linebacker as well. So it looks
like their biggest needs and their biggest concerns are going
to fall on the defensive side of the ball. And again,
you know, they have Abdual ranked as like a guy
that's all alone. But I really think this is a
quality draft for guys. I mean, we're people aren't really
(26:57):
talking about Jalen Walker very much. I think he's a
dope prospect, man. I think that's a guy you got
to pay attention to that could have a tremendous impact
on this league immediately with his skill set and what
he brings to the table. So I think there are
guys there where you don't have to panic and say, okay,
well we got to try to move to get Abdul
Carter and think that there are are definitely quality, quality
(27:21):
guys that you'll be able to get that you don't
have to try to jump to one, two or three
to try to get them in the draft.
Speaker 4 (27:29):
Yeah, well we will. We'll get to see hopefully something
drastic happens and we get some fun stuff. But you know,
would be a good idea, maybe we get Abdul Carter
on the show and he can talk about, you know,
some of these visits he's taken. Maybe a little inside
information might bring them on tomorrow. Oh yeah, yeah, maybe
nice or maybe Monday, you know, maybe Monday, maybe you know,
(27:51):
maybe yeah, but uh, it is two pros and a
cup of Joe here on Fox Sports Radio, LeVar Arringinder.
What does that?
Speaker 5 (28:02):
Get on in here? Get on in here your d bag?
Speaker 3 (28:05):
All right?
Speaker 4 (28:05):
Oh yeah, so here we go this see what you got?
Very strange? What is happening here in the studio. So
ive bet Jesus has been a friend of the program
for years and years and years on this net. Every
single time it's weird. He pops up every time there's
a live sporting event and the lights have gone out
(28:26):
in the studio. They are now flickering. But now there's
a piece of paper that is falling down onto the desk.
I will read the contents here on the air, just
so you know. This is all on the eppisite. No
shenanigans here with the Masters. Early on in round two
at Augusta. It is this morning, on the eleventh day
(28:53):
of April twenty twenty five, that I live bet Jesus
proclaimed the pick to be proclaim Cam Davis to shoot
par on the fifth hole at a go let's go.
So there we go, Cam Davis to shoot me par.
Speaker 5 (29:10):
What's the bet if he shoots Birdie? Do you win
the betty lose?
Speaker 3 (29:12):
No?
Speaker 4 (29:12):
No, No, it's got to be par there. It has
to be exactly par. It has to be exactly par.
You could also do bogie or worse. You could do
Birdie or better. Again, like I don't know, this is
just what I read on the piece of paper. So
that is from.
Speaker 2 (29:26):
What made you go there? What I mean, what made
laugh Jesus go there? I don't know.
Speaker 4 (29:31):
I mean, like I don't. I have no insight on this.
I simply read what's on the contents of the paper.
Speaker 7 (29:36):
Maybe because he's getting minus one fifty five for par
bog r worst is plus one twenty, What.
Speaker 4 (29:43):
Does that have to do with anything?
Speaker 6 (29:46):
For pointing out the fact that, yeah, it looks like
he's going to get par, what.
Speaker 4 (29:50):
Does that have to do with anything.
Speaker 7 (29:51):
It's the best bet you can get on draft kings
right now.
Speaker 4 (29:53):
So he makes good bets. Sorry, and what a loser
la bet g This clearly reads.
Speaker 6 (30:03):
By the way the whole literates. The whole is called Magnolia.
All right, it's a part four. It's four or ninety
five yards, so it's it's kind.
Speaker 5 (30:11):
Of long for a part four.
Speaker 6 (30:15):
Yeah, bunkers on your left hand side, got to play
something more kind of to the right hand side. And
then you got a couple couple of traps, usually guarding
the green.
Speaker 2 (30:24):
So you know, you could be a weather man or
traffic a traffic guy. Brou with that.
Speaker 6 (30:29):
Voice, zero aspirations for them, I know you do, but
you'd be pretty good.
Speaker 2 (30:34):
Yeah, just talking about traffic.
Speaker 6 (30:38):
I don't want to root against the individual, but I'm
hoping it gets a birdy then, because I really don't
want to see Jonas have any success.
Speaker 4 (30:45):
I mean, sorry, live that Jesus success. I've got nothing
to do with this. I'm reading what's on the paper.
I have no there's no part of this is me
justly reading what's on the paper. So right, if you
guys want to be negative and you want to disrespect.
Speaker 2 (30:59):
You guy, who's you got?
Speaker 4 (31:02):
Because the second the lightning hit again impromptu, the lights
go out in the studio, LeVar like almost dozes off,
like I don't want to be a part of this.
Speaker 2 (31:11):
Well, isn't that what you do when the lights go off?
It's either doze off or those up.
Speaker 4 (31:19):

Right now, though it is time for this.
Speaker 3 (32:32):
These might smell a little fun, that sounds incredible, but
they're still good.
Speaker 4 (32:37):
Time to find out.
Speaker 5 (32:38):
What's lack.
Speaker 2 (32:41):
Lee? All right?
Speaker 4 (32:42):
The laugh? What do we got?
Speaker 7 (32:43):
Well, it's that time of year where all those hippies
head out to the desert for Coachella. Basically, h everyone
leaves La for the weekend, I get to party with
nobody for my birthday. This year Coachella. This weekend's gonna
have Lady Gaga, Missy Elliott, Green Day, The Misfits and
Post Malone and Megan the Stallion. How about that?
Speaker 4 (33:05):
Anybody good?
Speaker 3 (33:06):
Uh?
Speaker 2 (33:07):
No, tang?
Speaker 3 (33:09):
He just named the land.
Speaker 4 (33:14):
No, it's seriously, who's playing?
Speaker 7 (33:17):
You just heard her Lady Ganga? I guess it's still relevant.
I don't know.
Speaker 4 (33:22):
Have you ever been to Coachella?
Speaker 7 (33:23):
No, I've never been. Everyone all my friends leave and
go to Coachella every every year. So I would just
buy myself for the for that. I don't have the
money to go spend one thousand dollars to go watch people.
Speaker 2 (33:33):
I don't know.
Speaker 7 (33:34):
That's not including the three hundred dollars just for a tent.
Speaker 4 (33:38):
Why would you.
Speaker 2 (33:39):
Want to go? I don't know. I wouldn't.
Speaker 6 (33:40):
Have you ever been, Jonas, I know I have not.
Don't really have much of a desire to go either,
to be honest, Dang, that's two segments in a row.
Speaker 4 (33:50):
It be it some out No not a weather.
Speaker 2 (33:52):
Man, no no aspirations, weather man, traffic guy, no no aspirations.
Speaker 6 (33:57):
I'm just trying to track cam Davis to see if
he doesn't Birdy he or.
Speaker 4 (34:01):
Bogey who wants to uh who wants to sit outdoors
in some bo fest in the desert to watch it
stone to watch Meghan the Horse or whatever her name
is perform on stage.
Speaker 2 (34:16):
Have you ever seen Meghan the Horse?
Speaker 5 (34:20):
I don't.
Speaker 2 (34:20):
Have you ever seen her?
Speaker 4 (34:21):
No?
Speaker 2 (34:23):
Okay, maybe you should see her before you knock the
hustle of Meghan the Horse.
Speaker 4 (34:30):
Look out to Megan the horse, alright, are specific to
the breede? Get all right?
Speaker 2 (34:41):
The stallion? All right?
Speaker 4 (34:42):
I get it.
Speaker 2 (34:44):
Respect, respect due to you. By the way, young lady.
Speaker 7 (34:48):
Is she the one that was shot?
Speaker 2 (34:50):
Geez?
Speaker 4 (34:51):
Yeah, yeah, just making sure got ported.
Speaker 7 (34:55):
There is our footn't it yeah?
Speaker 4 (34:59):
Tory gott.
Speaker 2 (35:03):
Hey man, she she got these cats going crazy out here. Really,
he couldn't handle it. Couldn't handle the pressure, squeeze the trigger.
I guess not familiar.
Speaker 7 (35:13):
Moving on, Yeah, well, speaking of guys who'd tried their uh,
throw their hat in the ring for another occupation. Ken
Griffy Junior, he's a you know, professional photographer getting out
there at the Masters. He was asked about it. He says,
holding ones on par three's shouldn't count or don't count
as hold ones don't count as aces. What do you
guys think about this?
Speaker 2 (35:31):
Brady?
Speaker 5 (35:32):
Wait?
Speaker 7 (35:32):
What his opinion is? A hole in one on a
par three isn't a real hole in one?
Speaker 4 (35:37):
Why not? No?
Speaker 2 (35:37):
He?
Speaker 6 (35:38):
I think he's talking about a par three course, because
how how else would you get a hold in one?
Speaker 4 (35:44):
That's what I was wondering.
Speaker 6 (35:45):
I was like, I think there's the greater context to
this is I think he's talking about holding ones.
Speaker 5 (35:50):
In a par three course.
Speaker 7 (35:52):
Well do you agree with that?
Speaker 6 (35:54):
Uh, it's a there's a there's an asterisk next to it.
It's kind of like the Bubble Boy Championship. If you
get if you get a hold one off, Part three
obviously accounts on a normal course.
Speaker 2 (36:06):
Man, if I hit the ball on the first time,
then it goes in the hole. I got it in one,
done right, that's a hole in one? Badmost period? I
got it in one period? Lee?
Speaker 5 (36:19):
Is there a chance he didn't read the rest of
the story and just the headline?
Speaker 7 (36:22):
It's possible, Okay, gotcha, very possible?
Speaker 6 (36:25):
Oh God, at no point, given that you plays, But
do you not look at the headline and go, well,
that doesn't make sense.
Speaker 5 (36:31):
Maybe I should read more.
Speaker 7 (36:33):
To me, I just I don't know makes sense to me?
Speaker 5 (36:35):
But what how does that make sense to you?
Speaker 2 (36:39):
Well, because it's a league.
Speaker 7 (36:40):
I mean if I went to a par three course,
I that's kind of what I thought he.
Speaker 5 (36:44):
Was talking about, right, but you didn't state it that way.
Speaker 2 (36:47):
Yeah, I guess that. Lee.
Speaker 5 (36:51):
What do you got to plan for this weekend?
Speaker 4 (36:54):
It already started?
Speaker 7 (36:56):
Yeah, I'm starting right now, just watching the Masters taking it?
Speaker 2 (37:00):
Yeah?
Speaker 5 (37:00):
What are you?
Speaker 4 (37:01):
Uh?
Speaker 5 (37:01):
What are you drinking?
Speaker 4 (37:02):
Anything happening with Cam Smith or whatever his name is?
What's his name?
Speaker 2 (37:06):
How do you do? How's he doing? Yeah?
Speaker 5 (37:09):
What's he doing?
Speaker 4 (37:12):
I mean, how's it looking? I don't know. I'm trying
to get an update here. I don't have any intel.
Speaker 5 (37:17):
I don't have anything on it.
Speaker 6 (37:18):
I just have that he went bogie Birdie parpar So
we'll see that it does a number five.
Speaker 7 (37:25):
I had about four azaleas yesterday.
Speaker 2 (37:27):
It was fun. Oh god, did you really? Yeah? This
segment from.
Speaker 4 (37:33):
Worse or and what's in an azalea?
Speaker 5 (37:35):
Again?
Speaker 2 (37:36):
Uh? It is.
Speaker 7 (37:37):
I've actually I've actually seen it made different ways. But
there's mine was pineapple, lemon, lemon juice and vodka, I mean,
and some grenadine.
Speaker 2 (37:50):
There you go.
Speaker 4 (37:50):
It doesn't sound bad.
Speaker 2 (37:51):
Blash it on top. Yeah, a very nice flower too.
By the way, did you put the flower on top
of the drink?
Speaker 7 (37:57):
He didn't have the flower at the bar, nor at
the liquor store when I went to go make my own,
so they.
Speaker 4 (38:02):
Don't have liquor stores.
Speaker 2 (38:04):
My mom's spent one of her favorite plants, favorite flowers.
Speaker 4 (38:07):
Well, she's in the market for an azellio. Just go
to a liquor store, lamar. She had no idea.
Speaker 2 (38:11):
My mom doesn't drink, I know.
Speaker 4 (38:14):
Yeah, neither does my dad, but I do.
Speaker 2 (38:17):
So maybe I'll try to do one in and you know,
honor of her.
Speaker 7 (38:21):
Today, guys, Cody Bellinger got food poisoning from wings in
Detroit City, swearing off of wings for five years because
of that. What's one food that you think that you
could never give up for five years?
Speaker 2 (38:35):
Chicken?
Speaker 5 (38:37):
Chicken palm?
Speaker 2 (38:39):
Chicken.
Speaker 5 (38:40):
No chance I'd have to eat chicken parm. There's no
way I can give that up. Wing.
Speaker 4 (38:45):
Yeah, wings probably are my favorite. I think I'm gonna
go have some Old Bay wings soon as this is over.
Speaker 2 (38:51):
You're gonna go Old Bay Yeah, Old Bay player lobster
Brothers where I'm gonna go. Yeah, there you go? Why not?
Speaker 4 (39:01):
What else?
Speaker 7 (39:02):
We got, guys, some stuff to watch this weekend if
you're not watching The Masters. Black Mirror just dropped at
seventh season Last of Us, Yeah, Park, geez, it's the
Black Mirror, and then Hark and then Last of Us
too on HBO season two.
Speaker 4 (39:18):
Oh my god, get you. You didn't get to the
button quick enough Martin? What are you gonna start drinking?
Speaker 7 (39:24):
All right now?
Speaker 2 (39:27):
Unbelievable.
Speaker 7 (39:28):
We're gonna find that beat Bucks.
Speaker 2 (39:30):
Stand in that Black Mirror too, I know that.
Speaker 4 (39:34):
Uh, let's go Cam Davis on Whole five so we
all should be working for.
Speaker 2 (39:39):
Hey, guys, have a great weekend. Man out of here.
