Speaker 3 (00:28):
You're listening to Fox Sports Radio.
Speaker 4 (00:40):
Are you looking at the text or at q oh?
Speaker 5 (00:45):
People got issues? Man?
Speaker 4 (00:48):
The fact that she doesn't have an issue?
Speaker 1 (00:49):
What it is? An issue? That's the book that tells
you that she's dealing with another issue. She's desperately in need. Yeah. Yeah.
Like she's looking at him like this guy know us
know what he's doing?
Speaker 4 (01:03):
Tang?
Speaker 1 (01:04):
Oh my god?
Speaker 4 (01:06):
Well okay, okay, that's yeah, okay, that's a Lorraino point
right there, lad, and look at that angle and look
at tang. Okay, good god, plenty of preceipt.
Speaker 1 (01:18):
So in the video, he's standing with his hands his
hips kind of like proud, like yeah, like I got
an eight yeah? Uh for those that are listening.
Speaker 5 (01:26):
By the way, two pros and a cup of Joe
here on Fox Sports Radio, there's a video. I don't
even know what if this is on a show or
one of these you know, I've got a weird addiction
or fetish shows. But there's a guy who lives with
eight life sized dolls, assuming sex dolls, assuming the way
(01:46):
they were dressed. And he invited his girlfriend over to
meet them at his birthday party. And they were all
dressed up. They had party favors in their mouth, uh
party caps on, and.
Speaker 4 (02:02):
He picked them all up, took them to the to
the to the to the kitchen, sat them down at
the table. They lit the ca She said, I need
a big.
Speaker 5 (02:11):
VARs watching the video, and she goes. The lady says,
you know, I know that I'm gonna accept it because
I know when I come over it's all about me.
And Levar's like, but it's not though.
Speaker 4 (02:27):
You got eight reasons why it's not just about Oh
my god, what you think is just about you, because
they're not alive.
Speaker 1 (02:34):
People.
Speaker 4 (02:36):
People got issues. I would be concerned on both sides.
If I'm him, I'm concerned. If I'm her, I'm concerned.
Speaker 5 (02:42):
Yeah, there's one man who can break this whole situation down,
ladies and gentlemen. He is Pete Prisco, senior NFL columnist
for CBS Sports, CBS Sports h Q analyst, And you
can get them on x at Prisco CBS.
Speaker 4 (02:59):
Pete, good morning, Hi Pete.
Speaker 2 (03:01):
What's up? Guys?
Speaker 4 (03:02):
Are you good morning?
Speaker 1 (03:04):
Where you are right now?
Speaker 2 (03:06):
I'm on my way to Jaguars camp.
Speaker 1 (03:09):
Yeah, let's just kick it off with this question. It's
a huge year for Trevor Lawrence. Like, is he is
he finally gonna like prove to some of the doubters
out there that he can be the guy?
Speaker 2 (03:20):
Are you a doubt or Brady?
Speaker 1 (03:21):
No, I am, I'm not.
Speaker 4 (03:23):
I'm on that list.
Speaker 2 (03:25):
Well, and yeah he is. And here's why. I mean,
look at look at the career arc of that guy.
He had to deal with Urban Meyer, the worst coach
in the history of the National Football League, for a
year as a rookie. Sorry, Fox, but that's the reality.
Speaker 1 (03:40):
That's an unnecessary shot. That was an unnecessary shot.
Speaker 2 (03:43):
Pete, Come on, and then and then and then he
had it, gets injured. He's got to learn new offenses
every year. And so I do finally think he's going
to put it all together. I will say this, And
he's mechanically he's different. And when I saw him in
VINDI camp, he looks different. He's tightened things up and
(04:05):
he needed to because he, you know, Brady's a long
strider with a long line up and I think he
needed to tighten things up. And it looks like he has.
But when the game start playing again, does it does
he revert back to what he normally does, and so
there is concern about it. It is a big year,
There's no question. You're not wrong about that. Brady. He
has to go out and prove the people that he's
worth the money and worth the number one overall.
Speaker 4 (04:25):
Pick Well, he's getting the money, so he's worth the money.
But it's just was was it worth it? I guess
in terms of.
Speaker 2 (04:32):
Yeah, pretty, I mean, LaVar, just because you get paid,
that means you're worth the money.
Speaker 4 (04:37):
That's exactly what it means, Pete.
Speaker 1 (04:39):
I mean, yeah, exactly what it.
Speaker 4 (04:42):
Means, Pete.
Speaker 1 (04:42):
That's what it means, you getting paid the money worth
He got paid the money.
Speaker 4 (04:45):
That's exactly Now whether he proves it to the people
that that support the paying of it, you know, the
fans and all those you know, the people watching that that. Yes,
that Wait.
Speaker 2 (04:58):
A second, So every player who's ever to pay the
contract proved to be worth all that money.
Speaker 4 (05:03):
No, that's not what I said. Say that they proved
to be worth the money. They they got the money.
Speaker 6 (05:10):
They got the money, doesn't mean they proved that they.
Speaker 4 (05:14):
Were worth getting the money. Now what they did after
that that, you know, that remains to be seen. Maybe
it didn't pay an out that way, but they got
the money.
Speaker 5 (05:22):
They're not gonna pay somebody just on well we think
maybe that they paid it because he's clearly shown something
and they're like, well, let's get ahead of it first,
Like why wait to pay him if we think that
he's going to be the guy?
Speaker 4 (05:35):
No, not going to just give you a contract. You
had to prove that you were worth getting the contract. Now,
did you live up to what it was that they
hoped you would live up to after you got the contract?
That's different. You know, Trevor Lawrence has not lived up
to my estimation. He has not lived up to what
the hype that surrounded him as a Clemson great. He
(05:59):
has not lived up to that expectation or to what
that that thought would be projection would be at the
league level. I think he's a jag right now. Not
just a jag wire, but he's a jag, you know.
And that's that's for now. That's why you get paid
all the big bucks. Pete. You've proven yourself.
Speaker 2 (06:19):
Yeah, yeah, But it becomes a question am I worth it?
I mean, that's the bottom line. Look, it's like Levar's
rationale is like, if you go into a restaurant, you
pay sixty five I mean not sixty five, one hundred
dollars for a stake, yes, and you carve into it
is very good, Well, it was worth it because you know,
because I paid that much for it.
Speaker 4 (06:35):
So here's the reason, here's the reason why your reasoning
is not aligned with what.
Speaker 1 (06:41):
The reality of it is.
Speaker 4 (06:42):
Is that you could actually return that steak at if
it's a fine dining restaurant and that steak does not
live up to the standard of steak that has been advertised,
that's false advertising, and you can get your money back.
They can either give you another steak, or they can
give you a money back, whatever it may be. In
this scenario, when somebody has played well enough where they
(07:06):
earn a contract and if say, for instance, it's a
guaranteed contract. Say for instance, let's go extreme and make
it to Shaun Watson. The fact of the matter is
there's not one time that he's proven he was worth
that contract in Cleveland. Yet he did whatever it was
that he did in order to deserve the opportunity to
(07:26):
get that contract in the first place. So, whether he
did anything after the contract or not, he did enough
where Cleveland awarded him a contract that was fully guaranteed,
and whether he proved it or not, which he did,
it proved that he's worth the contract.
Speaker 1 (07:44):
That's his money.
Speaker 4 (07:45):
So he proved that he was worth the contract because
he got it in the first place.
Speaker 2 (07:50):
I mean, he proved that the Browns are idiots. That's
what he proved.
Speaker 4 (07:54):
Well maybe, but they're idiots and he has two HUNDREDUS
thirty plus million dollars going into his bank account.
Speaker 1 (08:02):
So I mean he proved something.
Speaker 4 (08:05):
He proved something.
Speaker 2 (08:06):
Prisco, Yeah, he proved. He proved he got the money
because the Browns were idiots, and he proved he's not
worth the contract.
Speaker 4 (08:12):
It's just like I said, well, will Aaron Rodgers prove
Mike Tomlin and con will will he prove the Stiller nation.
Will he prove them right this year?
Speaker 2 (08:22):
And by that you mean like getting to the postseason.
Speaker 4 (08:25):
Yep, maybe even competing for the AFC nor No.
Speaker 2 (08:29):
No, I think there's a third team in the division.
Speaker 1 (08:32):
I really do.
Speaker 2 (08:33):
Look, he might be able to play like he did
at the end of last year and be pretty good,
But I just don't see that team beating the Bengals
or the or the Ravens in that division. Now, they'll
be feisties, will be tough every week because that's what
they are, that's the Stealer way. But I don't think
that they're better than the Browns or the Bengals, I
mean the Ravens or the Bengals in that division. So no,
(08:54):
I don't think they're.
Speaker 4 (08:55):
Gonna be a player.
Speaker 1 (08:55):
You're out on Rogers.
Speaker 2 (08:57):
No, I'm out on the Steelers. I don't think the Steelers. Look,
the Steelers had problems running the ball last year, which
has been their calling card for a long time. They
weren't great, you know, stopping to run. They weren't great
pressure in the quarterback. They had issues last year, and
now they're all in on Rogers and Ramsey and you
know Metcalfs And I mean it's not exactly like the
(09:19):
mix of locker room guys you'd like to have in there.
So I do think there's gonna be problems for that team.
Speaker 5 (09:26):
Hey Pete, what can you tell us about Christian wilkins
odd behavior in the locker room?
Speaker 1 (09:32):
What have you?
Speaker 5 (09:33):
I know you've dug into this real deep, real deep,
you know.
Speaker 2 (09:36):
I really, I really haven't.
Speaker 1 (09:38):
By the way, and you've thumbed through it. You'vemed through
this and thumbed it.
Speaker 2 (09:43):
Yeah, Yeah, it's odd. Let's just put it at that.
It's odd. But do you think that's the reason he.
Speaker 1 (09:50):
Was let go? No, they didn't want to pay him,
of course.
Speaker 2 (09:54):
Not if he was still if he was still healthy
and had had done the proper re have on the
foot and everything else.
Speaker 1 (10:01):
They wouldn't.
Speaker 2 (10:02):
They wouldn't have cared. And so you always come up
with an excuse and then you start, you know, leaking
out crap all over the place to make it look
better for you. That's just the way it is in
the NFL. You know that it's a it's a nasty business. Uh.
Speaker 4 (10:16):
They wasn't curious that anyone.
Speaker 1 (10:19):
Oh boy, Yeah, that's that's some I've never heard of.
Some of the stuff that's coming out. I've never witnessed that.
But again, quarterbacks, I always say, quarterbacks don't really in
the locker room a ton as much as other position groups,
Like we're more in the quarterback room a lot. So
it's like a lot of the tom foolery and shenanigans
(10:39):
that were going on we didn't witness quite as much.
So if a guy was tickling another dude's feet, like,
i'd really maybe we're aware of something like that happening,
but like didn't see it firsthand, you know what I'm saying.
Speaker 2 (10:52):
And you would stop it. I mean, something came over
and started tickling your feet, you like, kill off of me.
Speaker 1 (10:57):
Well, no, people be fighting, they'd be or you'd be like,
what the bleep are you doing? Like get the away
from me, you know.
Speaker 2 (11:04):
But Brady, I'm not. I'm not like Johnny Hugger, you
know how guys hug and stuff. I don't.
Speaker 1 (11:10):
Well, but so so we brought this point up though,
because there was anation of kissing someone's forehead and you
are Italian, and I said, you know, Italian guys are
really affectionate towards one another. You know, it's a little hey,
are you doing I don't.
Speaker 4 (11:24):
Like you take the cheek Briscoe.
Speaker 2 (11:29):
But you know, I'm not Brady.
Speaker 1 (11:30):
That's not me, okay, but you can't hold on as
an Italian American. You're gonna tell me right now. Italians
are passionate men towards other Italian men.
Speaker 2 (11:40):
We normally they are. But that's just not the.
Speaker 1 (11:42):
Way I kiss.
Speaker 2 (11:46):
That's not me. I'm just not. I'm not. I don't
want you know, the huggers and all and everything go.
Speaker 1 (11:56):
But you could see how two Italians, you know, there
may be some of that you know, Italian love of
going on between two guys.
Speaker 2 (12:02):
Yeah, yeah, I mean, but not not you know, disrespect
and you know at times like man kiss each other
all the time. That ain't my cup Ada, I can
tell you that right now.
Speaker 1 (12:11):
All right, pal, Hey, let's transition note to the Jaguars
taking over his head coach there this year. What's your
expectation for just kind of being around that, seeing how
he runs practice, seeing how he kind of takes over.
And I know he's young and there are some that
quirky stuff du loll, like there's some of that stuff
going on, but like, what's your expectations? What you're gonna see.
Speaker 2 (12:35):
Well, I think I love the way he runs an offense.
I mean, I think his offense would be really good
and catered to everything that he wanted to get the
ball out of Trevor's hands and everything. But as far
as leading the team, so far, so good. I mean,
you know, you hear he loves being on the field.
You know, he's one of those guys. So there's always
the problem, Brady. You know this because you've been around
a league all time, so before when when a guy
becomes a head coach, you know, it's not just about
(12:58):
calling plays and ball and being on the grass. You
got to deal with all the crap around you. So
that's the question for any head coach, how is he
going to handle that? Because he talks a lot about
being you know, being on the grass and everything else,
but it's different now, it's a different it's a different scenario.
You got to handle everything. So that's my only, you know,
concern is how will that adjustment be for him? I
(13:19):
think he'll be fine, but you never know until it
still it comes time, and you know, and just talking
to people around the organization, they love what they seem
from him so far. But again, there's no wins and losses.
Speaker 5 (13:30):
Uh.
Speaker 2 (13:30):
You know. And and by the way, the Duval thing
kind of bothered me a little bit because he got it.
He got a little you know, kissy with it, and
why not just embrace it? You know. He wanted it
all to go away, you know. And I told him
one day, I said, you know, I was at the comment.
I said, you know what you should do is you
should have a contest to see what man can imitate
your version of it better than anybody else and let
(13:52):
him win. Let him win a prize like tickets or something,
you know. And he didn't, you know what. He wanted
to go away, so it didn't going away. By the way,
I can tell you that a good pool.
Speaker 4 (14:01):
Pete.
Speaker 5 (14:02):
So a week ago you were on your way to
quote unquote Camp Softy, which is the Miami Dolphins. How
did those comments land with people there in Miami?
Speaker 1 (14:13):
Uh?
Speaker 5 (14:13):
And how were you received when you got there?
Speaker 2 (14:16):
I was received very well, I was. I was very
well received.
Speaker 1 (14:19):
You know.
Speaker 2 (14:19):
I did a nice, nice sit down with Tyreek Hill
where he was actually really good and opening candid, and
I asked him, you know, he's talking about how he's
going to do things differently. He's going to be the
best of his career and everything. I said, well, why
haven't you been that way the whole career? You know,
I mean, he's just a legitimate question. And by the way,
during that interview, I looked, you know, he's lean. Now
he's down the one hundred and eighty eight pounds. I
(14:39):
didn't know he was down that far. And I said,
what happened? Why'd you do that? He goes, well, when
I was in Kansas City, I was one eighty eight.
When I got here, I was one ninety five. And
then he threw he threw a stray out there. He said,
you know, I felt like Maurice Jones Drew for a while.
I was like, wow, there's a jot. Yeah, and I
didn't realize that. I get you's from Georgia and he
grew up a Jaguars fan, so he used to always
(15:01):
watch Maurice Joke Drew. But that, I said, my gosh.
And as soon as he got on there, somebody said
that to Maurice. And you know, Maurice, he ain't gonna
take that one double. But yeah, he took us. He
took as straight. But he he's lean, he's in shape.
But you look you want a new contract, want A
and B. You know the culture change, everybody. All I
talk about is the culture change. We're going to change
the culture. You can't change the culture. Your coach established
(15:25):
the culture. He's going to change it all of a sudden, tang.
You know you're a parent, you guys parents, When you're
a parent, if you let your kids get away with
murder for four years, then all of a sudden, in
year five, you say, this is the way it's going
to be. You think that's gonna work. No, of course not.
Speaker 4 (15:40):
Let it takes some stream and it takes some extreme measures.
Let's see if it will work. Let me give you
one more from me, Pete.
Speaker 2 (15:46):
What's an extreme measure? What's an extreme measure?
Speaker 1 (15:50):
Had extreme waterboarding?
Speaker 2 (15:52):
No?
Speaker 1 (15:52):
I don't. Yeah.
Speaker 4 (15:55):
I banned them from their rooms from time to time,
like you're not allowed to live in your room, Like
if you don't want to take care of it, then
it'll be cleaned up and you can't go in it,
like you'll be banned from it. But anyway, throw on the.
Speaker 2 (16:07):
Street, You throw them out of the street.
Speaker 4 (16:09):
Well, no, they wouldn't be out on the out on
the streets. They just wouldn't be in their room because
they don't keep their rooms clean. And and last I checked.
You know, your chores are your chores. But if you
want to play games and be on your iPad stuff
like that, those things will get taken away from you
and you won't have the privileges that you once thought
you had.
Speaker 1 (16:28):
Always do it.
Speaker 2 (16:29):
I like it, though I'm not.
Speaker 4 (16:31):
Going to hurt them. I'm just well, I can. I
know how to discipline people. You got to hit them
where it hurts, you know what I mean.
Speaker 2 (16:38):
But I like it. I like it, LeVar. You know
why because nowadays kids get away with it.
Speaker 4 (16:43):
Yeah, they get away with it, like yeah, okay, you
don't want to clean your room, you can't stand it.
Speaker 2 (16:47):
But like you go away with your friends or whatever,
and the kids in the water and okay, we're ready
to go now, and he's like, well, I'm staying in
the water. No you're not. We're ready to go, and
they just come on, please, we'll take away your iPad
if you don't get out of hell, out of the
damn water. Be created came and grabbed me and threw
me out of the water.
Speaker 4 (17:06):
Yeah, it's a team effort. Like my wife, she used
to put them if they got into fight, she put
them in a T shirt and they had to walk
around in the same T shirt. If I banned them
from their room, and they would have to stay in
one of their rooms and the other one that if
they're keep trying to keep they're going to try to
keep their room cleaner so that they don't have to
(17:26):
share the room. Right, So you just gotta you gotta
out smart them sometimes, Pete. That's all speaking of out smarting,
my last question for you would be, you know, I
saw that they took McLaurin off of off of the
inactive's list and added them to the pup list because
he didn't report in. Do you think they get the
deal done? Is this an indicator that they get the
(17:48):
deal done sooner or do they feel like they're closer
to maybe trading them?
Speaker 1 (17:52):
What? What? What is? You know?
Speaker 4 (17:54):
What you see is the situation.
Speaker 2 (17:56):
With that they all get done, all of them, how
Sjamar Stewart's done and now Terry mclaurin's in, and it's
only a matter of a couple of weeks before Trey
Henderson can roll again. And all get done. They all
show up and play. And the reason is you can't
leave that money on the table. There's only so many
earning years in your body. Don't blow it, and they
(18:16):
know it, and they all show up. He'll get a
new contract from the from the commanders, and he'll play
Watch it happens all the time. I've been around this
league a long time. Nobody's stupid enough. Well, okay, levey
On Bell was, but that's a whole other issue.
Speaker 1 (18:28):
Didn't Emmitt Smith miss a couple of games?
Speaker 2 (18:31):
He did Cowboys he did way back in the day.
He did good memory baby.
Speaker 1 (18:38):
Well, No, we had talked about earlier in the week,
just about other Cowboys and how they've gone about. I mean,
I'll put it this way. Do you think this deal
gets done if Micah Parsons decided not to show up
for camp because CD did it worked, Zeke did it worked.
I mean, it feels like Jerry Jones is reactive to that.
Speaker 2 (18:57):
Yeah, I think Parsons will get his deal done in
the next couple of weeks. You want, it'll get done.
Speaker 1 (19:01):
I mean the they we're not saying it's not gonna
get done. Obviously it'll get done. Do you see a
sense of urgency for teams when they guy's not there.
Speaker 2 (19:11):
No, I don't because I think you guys know this.
Michael Parsons doesn't practice and training camp. He shows up
to the week one, he's still gonna be able to
rush the passer's you know, he's a vetter now for
somebody like Chamar stew With that matter because he missed
time and he needs to be on the field.
Speaker 1 (19:26):
Well yeah, but you always side with the Bengals even
though they're trying to put.
Speaker 2 (19:28):
Language in this d No, No, I don't always side
with the bank.
Speaker 1 (19:32):
Get Hey, hey, Duke, how you doing? Duke? We know
you're you're Peter good friends.
Speaker 4 (19:35):
Is he in the car?
Speaker 2 (19:36):
You're going to cut this up and send Good job? Duke?
You you you you won again?
Speaker 1 (19:42):
Duke?
Speaker 2 (19:43):
Good job?
Speaker 5 (19:45):
Hey Pete, Before we let you go, I did want
to ask you quickly. You are at Bucks camp as
well too. How does Tampa look this year?
Speaker 2 (19:52):
He loves Baker and Bayfield Brooke news on my when
I did my interview with him, and then and then
everybody else ran with it and reported so. But he
told me I did an interview with him, but like
lunchtime yesterday and I asked himbout his contract. I said,
you're way way way way down here now in terms
of the quarterbacks around the NFL. And I said, what's up,
and he said, they talked new contract, but they gave
(20:14):
him guaranteed money in twenty twenty six. They guaranteed the contract,
so he got that from him. Kind of is an appeasement.
But he wants a long term deal, and he's going
to get a long term deal. And you know, if
he goes down plays like you did a year ago,
they have to give him a big, mega deal. And
I think they will.
Speaker 1 (20:31):
Right right if they do what you think they're going
to do this year, he will have that deal, you know,
ready for him twenty twenty.
Speaker 2 (20:36):
They're good, man, that's a good that's a team everybody's
sleeping on. That's a good team of all eleven starters
back when they're healthy on offense. And then they've hadded
your kid by the way from Notre Dame. They're raving
about Benjamin Marston by the way, just raving about him.
Speaker 1 (20:50):
And he was a pirate first first round pick if
he didn't get hurt, you.
Speaker 2 (20:53):
Know, and Jaco pirates the nickel corner from the little
corner from Kansas State. They loved him. I mean they're bad.
Stood they're more athletic because iBOT the agentis is back.
Elijah Canty's unblockable. They're gonna be really good. They're going
to be really good, and I mean they can make
a deep playoff.
Speaker 1 (21:08):
Run, especially in that division, right yeah.
Speaker 2 (21:13):
I mean, you know Atlanta, who knows what they're gonna be.
But that's the only team. You look at it on
paper and say they're a team that can push him.
But I don't. I don't think they're as good as
the Bucks.
Speaker 5 (21:21):
Uh.
Speaker 1 (21:21):
He is the great.
Speaker 5 (21:22):
Pete Prisco, senior NFL columnist for CBS Sports, CBS Sports
HQ analyst. If you want the smoke, he can get
it on x at Prisco, CBS. Pete, we appreciate it,
enjoy Jags camp, and we'll talk next week.
Speaker 1 (21:34):
You got it, Take buddy, there he is?
Speaker 5 (21:37):
Uh, Pete PRIs on now.
Speaker 4 (21:39):
Didn't let us say a full goodbye there yet? Here
out of there?
Speaker 1 (21:44):
Wow, hey leave?
Speaker 5 (21:45):
Pete seemed like he was in a hurry. Was he
seems like he was ready.
Speaker 1 (21:50):
To walk to you guys.
Speaker 7 (21:51):
Look, I did know he was on his way to
camp and wanted to come on earlier today, So we
were happy.
Speaker 1 (21:56):
To do that for him.
Speaker 4 (21:57):
Nice was he got to be there on time. I
don't know, I mean a Jaggs camp. You know, he's
gotta he's gotta get his paint on his face. He's
got to get that front row front row stand in
the section.
Speaker 5 (22:09):
You're fighting like lines of media members who were waiting
to get to Jaguars camp.
Speaker 4 (22:13):
Please, he's going the chair at cheer to team on.
He's not going for interviews.
Speaker 5 (22:18):
Camp softy, like this call, like a guy just walks
up with the Tan of the century, just walks up
and starts calling NFL players and their coaches. Camp softy,
what are we doing?
Speaker 4 (22:35):
And broad shoulders, don't forget the brude shoulders. Oh man,
I love Pete.
Speaker 5 (22:39):
It is Two Pros and a Cup of Joe here
on Fox Sports Radio, LeVar Arrington, Brady Quinn, Jonas Knox
with you coming up next, though, We've got a rumor
that is starting up, a rumor on a big time
quarterback move that could be on its way very soon,
and it's yours here on FSR.
Speaker 3 (22:55):
Be sure to catch live editions of Two Pros and
a Cup of Joe with Break Quinn, LeVar Arrington, and

LaVar Arrington, Brady Quinn, Jonas Knox.
Speaker 1 (23:17):
With you here. What Jonas you need help? Bro day.
Speaker 5 (23:42):
We are going to have another edition of Lee's Leftovers
coming up here in about fifteen minutes from now.
Speaker 4 (23:47):
Hey, super quick man. Yeah, got to send a shout
out to Vito and the family man, one of the
guys that you know we obviously we work with hair.
Vito does a lot of the background stuff for what
we got going on, imaging wise and stuff like that.
Speaker 1 (24:03):
They had a break in.
Speaker 4 (24:04):
He has a a pharmaceutical or pharmacy, uh, whereas the
Ensino and and then there was a break in.
Speaker 5 (24:12):
So not far from here.
Speaker 4 (24:13):
Yeah, I mean some of you cats out here are
freaking scums man, And I hope you get what's coming
to you and and to the family. I hope everything
is good. I hoped everything you know, got cleaned up
and put back together the right way. So shots out
thoughts and you know, thoughts, positive thoughts to Veto and family.
And then you know his wife runs it. She's she's
(24:33):
like a big time pharmacist. So shots out to the
family man.
Speaker 5 (24:38):
Yeah, scumbags just breaking into stuff, trying to it. Just
I don't get it.
Speaker 1 (24:43):
But it's running rampant.
Speaker 4 (24:46):
Yeah, it seems like it's definitely is crazy out here.
Speaker 1 (24:49):
Yeah, so yeah, stay dangerous.
Speaker 5 (24:51):
Uh speaking of something local. So it hasn't really been
talked about a ton, but Matthew Stafford he has got
this back issue and he's going to be out week
to week. And you know, Sean McVay is kind of,
you know, playing it down a little bit, but you mean,
he's already been paid. This isn't about a contract, This
(25:13):
isn't about anything like that. And so some people are wondering,
maybe is this a little bit more serious than they're
letting on. So Jimmy Garoppolo is obviously the backup there.
He's the one getting the reps right now. But you know,
why wait around to stir up some rumors when you
can just do it now a year in advance, Because
(25:35):
according to Charles Robinson of Yahoo, one prominent name that
surfaces inside the interest of the Rams and their front
office is none other than Arch Manning of Texas.
Speaker 1 (25:52):
The feeling is he could be the number one pick
of the draft.
Speaker 5 (25:57):
But the Rams are very interested because less Sneed steps
on Tait is known to be a close friend of
arch Manning. Sneed himself chatted up arch Manning at the
Texas Pro day prior to the twenty twenty five draft,
and it goes on to say that it goes deeper
with that, speaking to a handful of Rams personnel sources,
(26:18):
Manning is at this moment considered to be to the
staff the loan tier one quarterback of next year's draft,
regardless of who else would want to enter into the
draft next year. The Rams covet Manning's prototypical size and
throwing acumen, but also believe his high level of athleticism
sets him apart from every other college quarterback. So drew
(26:40):
a conversation, Well, we haven't even gotten to see arch
Manning as the full time starter at Texas, and already
he's being labeled as that's going to be the guy
next year, so much so that people are sort of
connecting him with the Rams. I've also heard the Browns
out there as a potential landing spot up for arch Manning.
Speaker 4 (27:01):
So the Arch Manning hype Carolina quarterback is in that conversation,
there's a couple quarterback He's not by himself, but god,
you got.
Speaker 1 (27:08):
A c Well, if he's gonna be what I think
people think he's going to be, he'll be considered the
quarterback by himself. There's other guys who will be first
round picks. Jeweller's one you talked about Leonora Sellers at
South Carolina is when you talked about it's actually a
great class. There's a lot of guys who are going
to be in the conversation for being taken in the
first round. I mean, this will compare very favorably to
(27:30):
the probably class that we had a couple of years
ago where you got what if I think five guys
went in the first round like that, that could be
what we see in the Again, this is assuming that
Jueler has a great year, Leonora Sellers has a great year,
Like all these guys end up performing the way we
think they're going to perform, and they end up, you know,
(27:51):
being there in the draft. In twenty twenty six, there's
a lot of a thought that Arch Manning is going
to come out after just one year starting at Texas.
A lot of people will throw out out the idea
that nil you know, you know it will keep a
player at the college football level. Uh, that to me
is true if it's a fringe draftable player or I'm
(28:14):
a mid round graded player who's trying to become a
first second round player, there's truth to that. But to me,
if you're a blue chip and I mean a guy
who's going to be taken maybe number one overall, there
is no value in coming back to school for another year?
Speaker 4 (28:29):
What what about team? What about team?
Speaker 1 (28:33):
Like?
Speaker 4 (28:33):
Like, for instance, they didn't want Arch playing for team
like what they didn't want Archs playing for for the Chargers?
Speaker 1 (28:40):
Like?
Speaker 4 (28:41):
What if it's a team that they don't feel is
is well where they.
Speaker 1 (28:44):
Want Archs to go. I mean they've pulled that before,
That's what I'm saying. So do you think they so
does it matter? Then?
Speaker 4 (28:51):
That's what I'm saying. So would you think they would
approach it the way they did with ELI or would how.
Speaker 1 (28:57):
Would you like, why would you think that wouldn't be
in the car? You know, like I think if they
did it once before, you'd expect that it would be
out there again. And you know there would be parties
that be that would be trying to orchestrate that or
be willing to do that. So again I would, I
would even Here's the thing is, everyone kind of assumed
that with Sean Stewart he could have gone back to
(29:18):
Texas and m and played. That would have to be
challenged at this point, and you know, maybe they'd win.
You know, so if arch Manning fell in that position
and he got dried, it was a number one team
drafting overall. Again all hypotheticals, but assuming you know that
team's a team that his family wouldn't want him to
go to, then yeah, you'd be looking at them either
saying we're gonna pull any lie, We're not gonna come
(29:39):
play for you, so you might as well, you know,
trade him somewhere else, or he could try to challenge
and go back to Texas for another year or.
Speaker 4 (29:48):
Not even the player to come out, right, Like, you
can watch what's going on during the season and get
an idea who's going to have those top picks locked up?
So there are a lot of.
Speaker 1 (29:57):
I mean, he doesn't have to make a decision, right, That's.
Speaker 4 (30:00):
What I'm saying. So if it's like a team that
he doesn't want to go to, I mean, there are
a lot of people saying that, and I think this
is crazy to think, but I saw somebody prognosticating that
the Giants might tank this year, like they might lose
all their games just to ensure that they get the
chance to get Yeah.
Speaker 1 (30:17):
Well, I mean there's a thought that that's what New
Orleans is maybe doing. There's a thought there are a
few other teams that could be in that category. I mean, look,
small sample size, but kind of similar to like when
I saw Bryce Young play in the spring game for Bama,
you just go, Okay, that guy's got it. You know,
when you've played it the position long enough, When you've
done it long enough, there's a certain traits and certain
(30:38):
things that you see a player do and you say, okay,
I can sign off on that. And he's that, you know,
seeing him in person, seeing what the ball looks like
coming out of his hand. He's bigger than people give
him credit. He moves really well. I would have fair
to say he's probably the best athlete between Peyton Eli,
maybe not Archie. Archie was an incredible athlete in his
(31:02):
day back then, but that's who he probably most closely
compares to as far as athleticism goes.
Speaker 5 (31:07):
So arch Manning and Drew Aler top two favorites according
to DraftKings to go number one.
Speaker 1 (31:13):
Yeah, and by the way, sitting down with Drew, I
said this, you know, last week to some folks when
he sat down and talked for a while. If he
has the year that I think he's capable of having,
you're gonna be fine teams. It will be really hard
to pass up on him. He has really everything. He's
a super sharp kid. He kind of has that command
(31:33):
to him when you sit down and talk to him, like, Okay,
you could see this guy leading a team, leading an offense,
leading a room, like being in the face of your franchise.
He has a holitzer for an arm. The only thing
that I would like to see him progress, and this
might have been because he was an ante. Andy Kodalniki's
offense last year, which is super wordy, is a lot
(31:55):
on his plate, which will bode well from in the NFL.
But there's just that half second of processing and you
hear sometimes that guy struggle with processing and then how
it kind of translates. If that speeds up this year
and he does what I think he's going to do,
I would say he'd be the number one quarterback prospect
this coming out next year's draft for sure, unless Arch
(32:17):
does what he's capable of. And then you got a
couple of guys along with Leonora Sellers, along with some
others that'll be in there. Uh So take your pick,
but it's going to be a really strong class next year.
I can assure you of that.
Speaker 4 (32:27):
Penn State brought in treybor Or pain Pena from from
Syracuse Syracuse receiver. They brought in uh a slot from
Tyron Hudson from from the USC. Yeah, they brought in
a slot like and they're bringing back their their entire backfield,
their their offensive front is stout. I just think in
(32:50):
terms of personnel wise, Oh, don't forget Dinkins. That's how
big people slept on that of Tyler Warren. But he's
more of your traditional big kind of tie end that's
gonna play impact. Interesting thing about that is dink Is
is nice. But the name Luke Reynolds, make sure you
keep that name in and and he's.
Speaker 1 (33:07):
A little smaller though, he's more like your movies.
Speaker 4 (33:10):
He's like he's like a sicky Yeah, right, So I
played with Dinkin's dad.
Speaker 1 (33:16):
Yeah, I remember seeing him going to the game. He
was the man. Yeah from Pittsburgh by the way.
Speaker 4 (33:24):
But you know, I think I think the reason why
it is a conversation is because he is going into
his second year with Kolda Nikki and and I think
that that's going to be a lot of there's going
to be a lot of excitement around the familiarity that
he now has with those those things that you were
speaking of in terms of the wording and the processing.
(33:46):
I think it's all going to be a lot quicker.
I mean, think about it. I mean, he came up
one game shy of the national title in that first year,
so being the second second season under that, and then
the defense, I think the defense is going to be
really good. But that's going to play a part and
feel position in the way that they're able to call games.
So I think that there is a lot that goes
(34:08):
in the favor leans in the favor of of Drew
Ayler to have the type of year where he is
looked at as as a guy that well is it Arch.
Speaker 1 (34:18):
Or is it is it Aler?
Speaker 4 (34:20):
I don't you know, I thought I thought Arch did
so well. If you guys recall I remember where I
was at after he was playing. I was saying, man,
I don't even understand why you would take him out
after the way he was playing when he got in,
after the injury to what was it yours or whatever
it was. I didn't, you know, I didn't understand why
you would even take him out, Like I thought that
(34:41):
Let him he's he's dealing. Let him go ahead and learn,
let him get, you know, get some experience, and then
next year is going to be you know, it's going
to be curtain for people. I don't really know. I'm
certain that Texas is going to be amazing personnel wise.
I don't know that personnel as well as I know
Penn State's and additions or subtractions. But I just say
(35:03):
it's going to be harder for Drew Euler to have
a down year this year than it will for him
to have the type of year that would set him
up to be a potential number one overall pick.
Speaker 5 (35:14):
Plus with Penn State soft schedule, I think that's kinda plan.
Speaker 4 (35:17):
I mean, it's not the hardest coming out of the gate,
but let's be clear, you gotta play the games, and
you got to play to win those games, otherwise you'll
get clipped. I mean, that's just what it is. It
is college football, you know it is in al could
be harder, it could be harder. I'm glad it isn't.
My baby's going to get some work. I say that,
get some get some chances to see some of them
(35:39):
young guys, get a little bit of experience before we
get to the ten. I'll be all right with that.
Villanova isn't a pushover. You know, they got a Hall
of Fame. Yeah, there's no pushover there. Good team, Yeah, Vilenova,
you're smiling us. Yeah, Fresnov you can't even say smiling.
Speaker 1 (35:55):
Said some good teams, Some good teams out there. That's
wrong with you? They need a chance.
Speaker 5 (36:01):

These might smell a little funk, sounds incredible, but they're
still good.
Speaker 1 (37:08):
Time to find out what's lack.
Speaker 2 (37:12):
Lee's lap?
Speaker 1 (37:12):
Jos all right to laugh? What do we got?
Speaker 6 (37:15):
Well?
Speaker 7 (37:15):
Guys, I heard you all maybe got a chance to
see Happy Gilmore too while I was gone?
Speaker 6 (37:19):
Is that correct? Or did we still kind of waiting
on some people to get around to it.
Speaker 1 (37:24):
I saw it? Did you see it? I did? It?
Speaker 7 (37:25):
Actually took me about three sittings to get through it.
I gotta admit as much as a fan of I
as I am of the first Happy Gilmore grew up
on it.
Speaker 1 (37:34):
Uh.
Speaker 6 (37:34):
The Segone was a little harder to get through it.
Speaker 7 (37:36):
It had some some great stuff about it, but the
cameos were The cameos were fun, but it was just
overpowering in my opinion.
Speaker 4 (37:43):
You got some good stuff from you know, overpowering.
Speaker 1 (37:45):
What exactly do you make well?
Speaker 6 (37:47):
I mean like the story just was out of place.
There was not succinct.
Speaker 7 (37:51):
It was like, Okay, I'm gonna fit my family in here,
I'm gonna fit all these golfers in here, I'm gonna
fit in these celebrities here.
Speaker 1 (37:56):
Oh, here we go. It was just brutal. Here we go.
This is my nightmare.
Speaker 5 (38:00):
Let's break down the plot and what it's is this
supposed to be a fun movie, just fun.
Speaker 6 (38:04):
There's some fun parts about it.
Speaker 1 (38:06):
John David John parts that are.
Speaker 6 (38:08):
Oh yeah, there's tons of parts that fun flat John
Daily was great.
Speaker 1 (38:11):
And here's what I'll say is it did feel like
they tried so hard to get all these different names, faces,
personalities into it that you're like, what are we really
doing in this movie? Like, like, what what actually is
the plot? It did feel like that at times, very forced.
Speaker 7 (38:27):
John Daily was great, Bad Bunny was great. Eminem's in there.
He was awesome. I thought that was pretty funny. Lots
of throwbacks. Yeah, I mean it's worth it.
Speaker 6 (38:36):
If you're a fan of a happy Gilmore, go ahead
and go have fun.
Speaker 5 (38:39):
Why did it take you so long to get through
it so many times?
Speaker 7 (38:42):
Because it was I was over it after the shtick
of like trying to fit people in. I was like, oh,
I'm going to bed, I'll catch it later.
Speaker 5 (38:49):
All the crap that you go and pay for to see,
and this is the one where you were like, this
is beneath me.
Speaker 1 (38:55):
Yeah, any Lee, were you drinking when you were watching this? Stone?
Speaker 6 (38:59):
So that's probably three times on.
Speaker 1 (39:02):
Three times you watched this you were stone sober every time. No.
Speaker 7 (39:05):
I stopped it to go try to fix that problem,
and that still didn't work. I was like, I need
to change my I need to have an attitude adjustment
in order.
Speaker 1 (39:14):
Are you're obviously drinking two of the three times. I
assume that after the initial run you're like, all right.
Speaker 7 (39:19):
I had drink I think for the middle one, for
the middle one, and then last too, and then I
just woke up in the morning and was like, all right,
let's just knock this out so I can start my day,
start drinking.
Speaker 1 (39:28):
So you'll give it an awful rating, that's what you're saying.
Speaker 6 (39:30):
Yeah, give it an awful rating. I don't need to
see it again.
Speaker 7 (39:33):
I will gladly watch Happy Gilmore five more times before
watching any more of this.
Speaker 1 (39:37):
Yeah there really was anything memorable from uh Happy Gilmore too?
Speaker 5 (39:41):
Yeah?
Speaker 7 (39:42):
Yeah, I mean like John Daly was funny and eminem
though he was good and Bad Bunny.
Speaker 6 (39:46):
I thought we did a decent job.
Speaker 1 (39:48):
Good job, he was funny.
Speaker 6 (39:50):
I don't even know who bad Bunny is, but he
was funny.
Speaker 1 (39:52):
His sanger Jonas, Oh so I thought Jonas was That
was his kind.
Speaker 6 (39:57):
Here's boyfriend god for.
Speaker 5 (39:59):
Now, for now he's got He's got other interests as well, too.
Speaker 4 (40:04):
Like Reggaetne or something like that. You know, Okay,
