coming up later on tonight. We have got three games,
three games to play with later on tonight in the NFL.
(01:16):
Now we have got prop bets or over unders attached
to these three games coming up, and we've got things
to look for starring Brady Quinn when it comes to
this preseason action. Because some people are dismissive of preseason games.
We are not on this show. So let's fire it off.
Do we have an NFL theme music here? We can
(01:38):
fire off to get excited for exhibition?
Speaker 4 (01:42):
All right?
Speaker 5 (01:43):
Fire off what you got right?
Speaker 6 (01:44):
Right?
Speaker 7 (01:45):
Time to put your money where your mouth is.
Speaker 5 (01:47):
I have to you know you've aligning low life gambling genuine.
Speaker 7 (01:52):
It's over under all right, So.
Speaker 3 (01:56):
Do you have things to look for first and foremost
with the Colts and Ravens, and then we will have
prop bets to hand out here that we make picks
on following this Brady Quinn things to look for.
Speaker 4 (02:09):
I'll be quick.
Speaker 1 (02:09):
So Baltimore Ravens the backup behind Lamar Jackson. It's gonna
be between Cooper Rush Devin Leary. When you've got a
guy who's explosive, athletic and runs as much as he does,
you always got to be concerned about the potential of
him going down. Who's going to come in, So keep
an eye on those two. Secondary we know about Jerry
Alexander Mulin, Humphrey Kyle Hamilton, but Bo Braid Safety out
(02:30):
of Maryland, he's a guy to keep an eye on. Obviously,
the first round pick Malachi Starks kind of biding for
that last spot. And then offensive wide receivers Davontes Walker
Lejohont Wester Western out of Colorado. Super explosive, very shifty.
Both those guys are going to be trying to compliment
Babman and Hopkins. A wide receiver, so maybe the number three,
number four receivers, but also does kickoff return in punt
(02:52):
return spots. And then finally, remember no Justin Tucker. There's
some missies going on there. So Tyler Loop the six
pick they took, he looks to be the kicker to
replace what is soon to be a future Hall of
Famer in Justin Tucker. On the flip side for the Colts, obviously,
the quarterback battle Anthony Richardson who gets the start over
Daniel Jones. We'll keeping on on how that battle goes.
(03:14):
The old line. They lost Will Fries and Ryan Kelly
and free agency, so we'll see how that shapes up.
And then there's a new defensive coordinator in Indianapolis, lou
and Aroumo. The defense struggled last year for Indy twenty
fourth in the league. They struggled to get after opposing quarterback,
so we'll see what Luke can do with their defensive
pass rush. Offensively, though, Adie Mitchells had a great camp.
He's becoming everything they hoped he would be so far.
(03:35):
We'll see if that carries over to games. And then
DJ Giddens is a third down back, keeping eye on
him running the football but catching the football out of
the backfield. And then there's been a big secondary overhaul.
Trey Herndon, Duke Shelley are there keeping on those guys,
and obviously LaVar's guy, Tyler warn at tight end. It's
been kind of quiet so far, but the games are here,
so he's gonna show out. It's gonna be fun to
(03:56):
see how Shane Stiken utilizes him.
Speaker 3 (03:58):
All right, So, Bree, what do we got as far
as over unders to get set for the Colts and
the Ravens coming up later on tonight.
Speaker 8 (04:06):
Okay, so the first one is a number of touchdowns
thrown by Anthony Richardson over under a half.
Speaker 1 (04:13):
I'm gonna take the over.
Speaker 4 (04:17):
Quinn's Damn, I will.
Speaker 3 (04:26):
I'm gonna take because the keyword there is thrown. I'm
gonna take the under knocks locks.
Speaker 4 (04:36):
I take the over.
Speaker 7 (04:38):
Sticks picks.
Speaker 1 (04:40):
That's definitely the best one.
Speaker 5 (04:42):
All right, uh free what else we got on this game?
Speaker 1 (04:45):
Okay?
Speaker 8 (04:46):
Number of touchdowns for Daniel Jones the same amount over
under a half.
Speaker 1 (04:51):
I think I'm taking the over.
Speaker 7 (04:54):
Quinn's wins.
Speaker 4 (04:55):
You'll be a winner, you said a half. Yeah, I'm
gonna take the over.
Speaker 5 (05:04):
Thrown thrown, Okay, I'll take.
Speaker 7 (05:09):
The under knocks locks.
Speaker 4 (05:13):
So stupid, you cock it every time. You're so predictable, Bro,
What why you cock it? Because that's what it sounds
like to you, one of those? All right, real aggressively.
Speaker 1 (05:30):
Next up, it's actually locking a door by the way,
and like he.
Speaker 5 (05:33):
Gets up and it's like very dramatic, looks like a game.
I like it a little very video game ish.
Speaker 3 (05:41):
Listen, some people are aggressive. I don't have to tell you, guys.
It's the way I operate.
Speaker 5 (05:45):
Aggress The right word.
Speaker 4 (05:48):
Next up bangles Eagles.
Speaker 8 (05:52):
Okay, number of drives for Joe Burrow, I'm sorry, guys, blank,
It's okay.
Speaker 4 (06:02):
She's fine. She's fine.
Speaker 1 (06:05):
Some things to keep an eye on for Joe Burrow
is gonna play as well as some of the starters.
This is a new thing going on there in Sincy
because they've had such an issue with slow starts over
the past five years or so, so look for them
to play about a quarter tonight. The old White has
been rebuilt. Left guard Dylan Fairchild keeping ony on him tonight.
Right guard Cody Ford and Lucas Patrick would be battle
on that spot out and the defense new defensive coordinator
(06:27):
Al Golden, he'll be taking over. It's a blitz heavy scheme,
but Labar talked about it earlier. Probably not gonna see
a ton of pressure throughout the course of the preseason,
but the secondary depth will be something to keep an
eye on. Dj Ivy, Josh Newton, DJ Turner, all guys
biting for starting spots. And then obviously Shamar Stewart their
first round pick. We heard a lot about him missing
(06:48):
a bunch of training camp, finally got his deal done.
We'll see if he gets any burn time and if so,
what he looks like. And then a couple of linebackers
for LeVar to keep an eye on. Demetrius Knight Junior
Barrett Carter. Two guys looking at the potential he cracked.
That starting lineup will be fun to watch the night.
On the flip side, the Eagles, it's their fourth straight
season with a new offensive coordinator, so Kevin Petullo will
(07:12):
take over as the OC. Now here's the troubling pattern
here if you go back four years ago.
Speaker 4 (07:18):
Okay, Shane Steichen was the OC.
Speaker 1 (07:19):
They made it to the Super Bowl, lost, but he
left to become a head coach. The next year comes
in Brian Johnson, he gets fired. Then they hire Kellen Moore.
They could the Super Bowl, win the Super Bowl. He
gets hired as a head coach from the Ryland Saints.
Now Kevin Patulo steps in. Oh, so they're batt and
two for three. The trend doesn't look good. Something to
keep an eye on, though. The offensive line has been
(07:41):
the strength of the Eagles. Well, they've got a battle
for right guard because they lost out Makai becked and
headed the Chargers, so Tyler Stein, Kenyon Green. Those two
guys have been battling it out, and then the corner
spot opposite of Darius Slay, nice battle between Keey Ringo
and adri Jackson. And then finally more depth in the
secondary at least concerns there. They addressed it in the
draft C J. Gardner once and went to Houston. That
(08:01):
spot's now looking to be filled by either Sidney Brown,
the third round pick, or Andrew mccabaugh, who has been
dealing with the shoulder injury. So look for Sidney Brown
to probably least play more tonight and maybe take over
that starting spot.
Speaker 5 (08:13):
All right, Bree, what have we got?
Speaker 8 (08:15):
Number of drives for Joe Burrow? Over under?
Speaker 1 (08:18):
Two and a half under?
Speaker 7 (08:23):
When's When's that?
Speaker 4 (08:30):
Is it? Right there? That one? Is that? That is it?
Speaker 5 (08:34):
I don't know how I feel about that.
Speaker 1 (08:35):
Well, don't get jealous, right with the little don't get
jealous figure stripper.
Speaker 4 (08:44):
Leg I don't know how I feel about it. Ain't
that nothing. I'm going under.
Speaker 3 (08:50):
Two sticks picks over under drives for Joe Burrow. They
want to give him a little more playing time in
the preseason. You said their touchdown drives, because what they
have taken the preseason, I'm taking under.
Speaker 5 (09:05):
I'm gonna take the over knocks locks.
Speaker 4 (09:12):
What else? We got free.
Speaker 8 (09:14):
Points total for that game over under thirty seven and
a half.
Speaker 4 (09:19):
Under sticks picks.
Speaker 1 (09:25):
I'm gonna take the over.
Speaker 7 (09:30):
Quinn's wins. You'll be a.
Speaker 5 (09:31):
Winner thirty seven and a half.
Speaker 4 (09:35):
Like I'm in an arcade right now, we're in the casino.
I will take the under knocks locks, all right.
Speaker 3 (09:51):
Next up, we've got the Pete Carroll Bowl. We've got
Raiders Seahawks in Seattle.
Speaker 1 (09:58):
Yeah, I'll be quick here. Obviously Pete Carroll's debut. Here's
one thing I know they're gonna do. They're gonna play
this thing to win. So I don't know if we've
got it as a prop bet, but I for whatever
the spread is, I would lay the points with the Raiders,
just having been a part of how he coaches teams
in the preseason. They were gonna go in there and
put the foot down on the gas pedal and not
let up. So yeah, I would go in and lay
(10:19):
the points then. But something to keep an eye on. Obviously,
Gino Smith the started there, Aid and O'Connell. You know,
they've been kind of battling in camp, even though it's
probably Gino's job, but Cam Miller six round pick out
of North Kota State, kind of hand picked by Tom Brady.
So one guy to keep an eye on. Obviously Ashton
Genty if he plays, obviously fun to watch him. And
then on the flip side of this particular matchup, we
(10:42):
talked about it. I don't know if we were said
on an air, if it was during break, but Jalen Milroe,
the quarterback who isn't getting as much hype as he
once was earlier this offseason, but he'll get some burn
time for the Seattle Seahawks. He's gonna be incredibly tough
to stop once he gets outside the pocket. We'll see
how he's continued to develop as a passer. But really
those are kind of some of the things to keep
an eye on.
Speaker 5 (11:03):
All right, Brie, what are we looking at alrighty?
Speaker 8 (11:05):
Actually, yeah, Jalen Milroe touchdowns over under one and a half.
Speaker 4 (11:10):
Oh, I'm gonna take the under.
Speaker 7 (11:14):
Sticks picks Damn.
Speaker 1 (11:18):
Big Drew Lock, Darnold and Milroe, and I think it's
gonna be Milroe and block playing. So I'm gonna take
the overcause I think he's gonna play about half of
a game.
Speaker 4 (11:29):
Quinns that is easily the best one. That's the worst one.
Speaker 1 (11:37):
That is that sounds like Jonas made that one.
Speaker 4 (11:41):
It sounds like you should be throwing up Ymca siunds
like it's just clearly the best. I don't know, man,
is there a sign no like your you know, your arms.
Speaker 3 (11:49):
And stuff, you know, Jalen Milroe over under one and
a half touchdowns.
Speaker 5 (11:54):
I will take the under the Knocks locks.
Speaker 8 (12:00):
What else we got, Brie last one total attendance over
under thirty thousand?
Speaker 5 (12:07):
Where's that Settle Seattle?
Speaker 4 (12:10):
Oh that's over? Yeah, wins, wins.
Speaker 7 (12:18):
It sticks picks, Yeah, yeah it is.
Speaker 3 (12:25):
Pete Carroll returning back to Seattle. Yeah, Mariners have a
day game. Come on, I'll take the over Knocks Loucks.
Speaker 1 (12:35):
And the thing is is like both are in like
proximity to one another, so you could legitimately go from
a Mariner's game right to the preseason game. Make a
day of it, have yourself a flipping day out there
in Seattle, by the way, best place in the country
this time of year right now. Anyone can try to
argue that, yes, they will try not to tell you
(12:58):
because they don't want even more people moving out there.
But it is the nicest place in the summertime.
Speaker 5 (13:04):
Well you probably you know much humidity, do you?
Speaker 1 (13:08):
And it's like the perfect temperature. There's there's not that
mist and that gray rain that you see throughout the
majority of the year. Everything's super green. You can see
the cascade mountains like in the distance or mountain near
it's incredible. This time you're out there, weed is fire
and then there's that probably do a lot of hydroponics
(13:30):
out there.
Speaker 3 (13:30):
Probably my favorite NFL stadium see game at that place
is awesome place.
Speaker 4 (13:37):
Yeah, it's pretty cool. Play well, I'm out on trying
to live there though.
Speaker 1 (13:43):
Yeah.
Speaker 4 (13:43):
Why just too much rain? Well, it's not really that much.
Speaker 1 (13:47):
It's like a mist.
Speaker 4 (13:49):
Yeah, you know how.
Speaker 1 (13:51):
Lee sometimes when he when he farts in the studio,
he's got those like gross dirtly ones. Then there's the
ones where it's like, you know, it's like it's the
kind of mist it is.
Speaker 3 (14:01):
They stink too, is it by the way, is it
more gray than like Dublin?
Speaker 5 (14:08):
Because I don't think we saw the sun one time.
Speaker 4 (14:10):
When we were out in Dublin. I don't.
Speaker 1 (14:12):
I would say it's not as gray as Dublin.
Speaker 5 (14:14):
Yeah, I could deal with that.
Speaker 4 (14:17):
Nope.
Speaker 1 (14:17):
Yeah, I'm telling you man, people out there don't want
to tell you. That's they want to let that secret
Outum you got it is gorgeous.
Speaker 4 (14:24):
They can keep the secret. I believe.
Speaker 1 (14:26):
I don't know why you're so against it, man, I
believe you go up there, have a good time, get
yourself with hookah.
Speaker 4 (14:31):
You could be right. You could be right. Sit out
a tea shop on the street, this chill, roll it up,
light it up inhale, exhal, say hello to people walking by,
you know, because I like to talk to people. Yeah, yeah,
I'd like to have random conversations, be kind to people.
(14:52):
You know. I wonder what's their homeless population like though,
Oh yeah, well yeah it's kind of high. Oh yeah.
Oh I'm trying to figure out where that is low.
Now I'll go there, whether or all. I'll go there
where there's less homeless.
Speaker 5 (15:12):
It's got to be the coldest place, right because you
don't want to freeze. Hmmm.
Speaker 4 (15:17):
Don't people They figure out ways to stay warm. Man.
Speaker 5 (15:21):
If I was homeless, i'd be in Hawaii. Oh yeah,
they're in Waikiki.
Speaker 4 (15:26):
Oh yeah, they're everywhere. Tang Yeah, it's blend right in Yeah. Hmm.
You know just uh, I don't know, but I'll take
your word for it's nice. Well, you're at the Pro Bowl.
I don't recall paying attention to the homeless population there.
(15:48):
I was too busy being a pro bowler. Yeah, in
Waikiki and at the Ihilani Hotel. Does that sound about right?
They heard h heard stories.

twenty minutes from now here on FSR. Right now, though,

NFL reporter, lead content strategist at the MMQB Amazon NFL
(17:52):
on Prime Insider, and you can follow on my next
at Albert Breer AB. Where do your travels through training
camp take you today?
Speaker 10 (18:01):
I mean I'm in some town in Missouri.
Speaker 6 (18:03):
I'm going to Chiefs, which I'm almost the Saint Joseph
Saint Joseph, which is like an hour north of Kansas City.
Speaker 1 (18:10):
Uh oh yeah, hot and steamy, buddy hot, sweaty steam ready.
Speaker 10 (18:17):
Yeah, Brady.
Speaker 6 (18:17):
You know the pit there that the practice fields are
in and how it traps humidity and uh.
Speaker 10 (18:24):
Yeah, I'm wearing a workout shirt to practice today. I'll
put it that way.
Speaker 1 (18:27):
Well, I'm more concerned about your swamp ass, so you better.
Speaker 4 (18:30):
You better wearing best pair of underwear that's gonna be.
Speaker 10 (18:34):
That's gonna be a situation too. I might have changing
my way back here.
Speaker 4 (18:38):
Good for you. You know, it's funny.
Speaker 1 (18:39):
They've got incredible facilities for what are they like a
D three program or D two?
Speaker 6 (18:44):
Yeah, yeah, yeah, they got like a nice field house
and the practice they're not all of it's really nice.
It's just in the middle of nowhere.
Speaker 1 (18:52):
Well yeah, but they've got an indoor facility. Like how
many D three programs whatever it is, have an indoor
facility there?
Speaker 10 (18:59):
Right? I think it's a full feel I can't.
Speaker 6 (19:01):
I one year I came here and it was and
it was raining out or something.
Speaker 10 (19:06):
And they were they were inside, And I think it's
actually like a full field facility, to which, yeah, you're right,
you won't see too many.
Speaker 6 (19:12):
Division III schools that I actually, I actually think, you know,
I actually did their nai A?
Speaker 10 (19:19):
Is that right for the Division three or Nai A?
Speaker 1 (19:22):
I'll look into that. I am curious though, as you
go there, like what questions are there really surrounding the Chiefs.
It feels like outside of them losing in the Super Bowl,
they weren't able to repeat, they're still, in my mind,
like the team to beat in the ASC. It's just
like maybe they probably only rebuilding stronger from this.
Speaker 10 (19:40):
I'm with you, Brady.
Speaker 6 (19:41):
I mean, I think a lot of a lot of
people become the prisoners of the last thing they saw.
And I think in this case, like you know, a
lot of people have drilled down on what the Chiefs
look like in.
Speaker 10 (19:52):
The Super Bowl. It's a really good Eagles team and
that came obviously was never in doubt.
Speaker 6 (19:57):
And you know, I think people are wondering, is that
the last night of the Chiefs dynasty? And I think
that's a little ridiculous just based on what they are
with with Danny Reid and Patrick Mahomes in the prime
of his career.
Speaker 10 (20:12):
Not only that, like how they got to the Super
Bowl last year, they.
Speaker 6 (20:16):
Did it with a tackle situation that was a complete mess,
without Isaiah Pacheco, without Rashie Rice, with Hollywood Brown having
played what I.
Speaker 10 (20:25):
Think two games three games at the end of the
year and then into the playoffs. That was a really
hollowed out version of what the Chiefs had been the
last few years. And they still got to the Super Bowl.
Speaker 6 (20:37):
And so, you know, when I talked to these guys,
and obviously I'll talk to them more today, but you know,
when I talked to these guys over the last two.
Speaker 10 (20:45):
Months, you know, the feeling I've gotten is that they.
Speaker 6 (20:47):
Feel like they're going to be better than they were
a year ago. And some of the vision that they
had to the offense.
Speaker 10 (20:52):
Last year, where you know, the idea was you're going
to have Hollywood Brown and Xavier.
Speaker 6 (20:59):
Were on the outside and that those two clearing out
space for Rashie Rice and and Travis Kelsey operate operate
underneath to check.
Speaker 10 (21:09):
On on the running eam all that stuff.
Speaker 6 (21:11):
Can come to life now if they can stay healthy,
you know, so the.
Speaker 10 (21:15):
Motivated team, I know that, and like I think, you know.
Speaker 6 (21:17):
They feel like, at least internally, like they should be
better than they were at the end of last year.
Speaker 3 (21:23):
Abe, do you have any sort of a sense or
an update on where things stand between the Cowboys and
Michaeh Parsons. Have they still not talked to his agent?
There has there still been nothing more than a handshake.
As Jerry Jones pointed out earlier this.
Speaker 6 (21:38):
Week, Well, you know, a handshake is a very important
uh there's a bomb there, you know what I mean?
Very uh yeah, I mean the deal is a deal, right,
so when you shake on it, when you shake on it,
you have a deal. No, I uh, I think that
right now, I would say this probably waits until they
(22:02):
get back to Dallas from California, just based in the
past history here, the pace of negotiations.
Speaker 10 (22:08):
I think it's gonna be on the Cowboys to pick up.
Speaker 6 (22:11):
The phone and make that call to try and get
something sparked where they can get some more momentum towards the.
Speaker 10 (22:18):
Deal getting done. And this is the first one.
Speaker 6 (22:20):
Guys like I you know, you don't want to believe
that these billion dollar businesses would do things like I
don't know, you know, endure a contract, you know, dispute
because it gets them in the A block on first take.
But it keeps happening over and over and over again
where it makes you believe that's the case. And you know,
(22:42):
when I dug into it over the last week, the
pace of negotiations is not different than the pace of
negotiations was with Zach Martin two years ago, or with
Ceedee Lamb and Dak Prescott last year.
Speaker 10 (22:54):
So you know, I think if you look at past history, you.
Speaker 6 (22:59):
Look at the benefit I guess that they get from
the attention being.
Speaker 10 (23:03):
Poisted upon them where you know, they're one of the
big stories.
Speaker 6 (23:06):
During training camp, and then you look at the fact.
Speaker 10 (23:10):
That during the kickoff game, which you know moves the
timeline up a little bit.
Speaker 6 (23:14):
I think, you know, you get through this week, you
get through next week, the team picks up and goes
from you know, the training camp in California back home
in Texas, and and then maybe talks gets sparked because
I think we all know where this deal is going
to be done, right, It's going to be in the
forties it's probably gonna be well in the forties.
Speaker 10 (23:32):
I think it could be as.
Speaker 6 (23:34):
Far up as forty five million per year. The market's
the market now, you know, And so I think, really
what's left is when the Cowboys pick up the phone
and call and try to get the talks going again,
and then you know, and then and then how how
difficult it is for everybody to put their personal feelings aside?
Speaker 4 (23:56):
What about Terry and Terry McLaurin and uh and why Washington?
Speaker 6 (24:02):
Yeah, I think you know, var My my sense is
that's another one where it probably gets done before, right
before the season. That one is a little different, Like,
I don't think there's any like personal animus there, I think.
Speaker 10 (24:18):
Do I think it guts.
Speaker 6 (24:19):
Terry a little bit to have to go through this
based on everything he's given to the team.
Speaker 10 (24:23):
Yeah, but I still.
Speaker 6 (24:25):
Think like the ideal scenario for everyone involved is for
Terry to be in that uniform and and look like,
Terry's been through a lot and went through a lot
to help that franchise get where it is.
Speaker 10 (24:37):
You know, there's a.
Speaker 6 (24:38):
Lot of sweat equity that he has tied up and
in the in that franchise, turning things around and going
to the Dance Snider era to the Josh Harris era,
and you know, and and and and and and and
and getting from Jay Gruden era to the to the
Ron Rivera now to to to what dan Quinn's built.
(24:59):
So I think Terry's motivated to be there. I don't
think the commanders. I don't think there's any question that
commanders want him in a Washington uniform.
Speaker 10 (25:09):
And I think this really comes.
Speaker 6 (25:11):
Down to where the market is and the principles and
data that the that the new Commander's regime has, and
I don't know where the middle ground is, but I.
Speaker 10 (25:23):
Have to think that they're going to find a way.
Speaker 6 (25:24):
To get something done in time.
Speaker 3 (25:26):
AB biggest surprise for you thus far through your training
camp travels.
Speaker 4 (25:30):
As what.
Speaker 10 (25:34):
It's a good question, Uh, you know. I think one
of the things that I like.
Speaker 6 (25:40):
You can see that I thought was sort of interesting
is there's a couple of teams where I think you
got a good young base of players, and it's can
you elevate from good to great? And that's not just
for a team standpoint, but with a lot of the
individual young players, and those two teams that be Seattle
and Green Bay I'm seeing the lay pet care was
moving around at seventy three years old, is obviously something
(26:03):
something to behold, you know, I would say, Like to me,
it was like looking at like the operation with the
Chargers was interesting. Now, I would say, there are a
couple of teams where you look at them and you say, man,
you can feel the confidence and they think they're going
to be really good. Those two teams like for me
(26:24):
that really stuck out.
Speaker 10 (26:26):
It's having that confidence.
Speaker 6 (26:27):
Where it's like, could they make a real run on
a Super Bowl would be the the Broncos and the Rams.
Speaker 10 (26:34):
Like being with the.
Speaker 6 (26:35):
Chargers was really interesting in that like it kind of
jumped out at me how big that team has gotten.
Speaker 10 (26:42):
And you look at the right side of the line
and it's it's Joe All and it's it's it's it's
Mackai Beckton.
Speaker 6 (26:48):
And then you know on the defensive side, the interior
guys are much bigger than they were a couple of
years ago under Brandon Staley, and you see the running
back of Mari and Hampton and it's like you could
really envision in him being like a Frank Gore type
of presidence, the type of president scorer was for for
Jim Harbaugh in San Francisco.
Speaker 10 (27:06):
And so it just really jumped out at me. Looking
at the Chargers is just.
Speaker 6 (27:11):
A physical makeup of the team, and you know, I
I you know, just talking to people there, they feel
like they're better at every position than they were a
year ago. So I'm really interested to see what happens
in the AFC West because you have the Chiefs and
then you know, you've got the Chargers and the Broncos,
who I think really feel like they're in.
Speaker 10 (27:32):
A position to make a run at it.
Speaker 6 (27:34):
And I think the Raiders are going to be fisty
under Pete Carroll, like I think by the by, by
the bye, by the end of the year, they're they're
the proverbial And now I don't think they win more
than six or seven games, but I think by the
end of the year they're sort of the proverbial team
no one wants to play.
Speaker 1 (27:50):
Yeah, I could see that you mentioned the Rams and
just the potential for what they could be this year.
Matthew Stafford's deal with back issues. How serious is this
in the minds of the Rams right now? Because you know,
at his age, back issues some of the symptoms he's
dealing with lack of participation in much feels like this
(28:10):
could be an interesting storyline to watch to see if
the Rams can actually get Matthew Stafford roll seventeen games.
Speaker 10 (28:16):
Yeah.
Speaker 6 (28:18):
I put it this way, if this is a game,
we think he'd be practicing, and if there is a
game on Sunday, he'd certainly be playing.
Speaker 10 (28:27):
You know, I think this is sort of a realization
that they've come to that there's only so many.
Speaker 6 (28:32):
More bullets in the gun, and you don't want to
be firing those bullets in August. And so, you know,
they've got the luxury of having Jimmy Garoppolo on the team,
which I think gives them, you know, the opportunity to
have quality practice work right, Like they don't need to
worry about the pace of practice with Jimmy out there,
(28:54):
or you know, the quarterback knowledge of the office. Everything
can run smoothly. Everybody can get good working Jimmy Garoppolo
in there playing quarterback, and they saved those bullets in
the guns.
Speaker 10 (29:05):
I don't know what the number.
Speaker 6 (29:06):
Would be, probably be like eighty five ninety percent.
Speaker 10 (29:11):
I don't think they're going to put him out there
until they feel like.
Speaker 6 (29:13):
He's one hundred percent and Matthews dealt with a bunch
of these things over the last couple of years.
Speaker 10 (29:19):
He had elbow, he had a riffs, and these are
all like.
Speaker 6 (29:23):
The types of injury with an over quarterback you got
to be really careful with right and the back.
Speaker 10 (29:28):
Is in that category two. So do I think it's
of no concern?
Speaker 6 (29:33):
Absolutely not, like, of course it is.
Speaker 10 (29:34):
He's thirty seven years old, he's got a back problem.
Do I think the Rams are thinking.
Speaker 6 (29:40):
Like this is going to materially affect our season.
Speaker 10 (29:44):
I don't think that's what this is at this point.
Speaker 6 (29:46):
I think this is more of a maintenance thing and
trying to make sure that not only he's ready to
go Week one, but he's in a position to sustain
his level of play in the December and January.
Speaker 4 (30:00):
Maybe. Uh my. My last question would be the New
England Patriots. We discussed them at length earlier in the show.
What do you see from your perspective the I guess
the projection of what they will end up finishing at
in in the AFC South South East, East, East East
(30:24):
and so resistant against these these two, what do you
think they have finished they have a chance to finish
second or first and in their conference, their division.
Speaker 6 (30:36):
Uh first, No, I think Buffalo's gonna win the division again.
And you know, I was with the Bill. Everything was
so easy for Josh Allen. Now it's scary, like I you.
Speaker 10 (30:45):
Know, like you think, I look at the guy that.
Speaker 6 (30:47):
Physical ability and now like has smooth everything.
Speaker 10 (30:50):
Looks Josh in a really good spot.
Speaker 6 (30:52):
So I think Buffalo was a division But but yeah,
I mean I think Miami takes a step back. I
think the Jets are going to be competitive.
Speaker 10 (31:01):
You know where that goes. I'm not positive in Aaron
Glenn's first year, but I think the Patriots in a
position where.
Speaker 6 (31:07):
They've gotten themselves to the level ground at a lot
of different positions. There were positions that I think were
like real weaknesses, like real holes for them, where at
least they're at a competent level now. And you know,
whether that means seven wins or ten wins, I think
comes down to how the young quarterback plays. But it's
a very professional, experienced coaching staff that Mike Brable's put together.
Speaker 10 (31:30):
I think there's going to be an identity to.
Speaker 6 (31:31):
The team, you know, and I think that they're going
to be competitive on a weekend, weekend basis. And you know,
I think if you look at a lot of things
they've done, it mirrors what what Washington did last year
when the Commander's new brass came in. Dan Quinn got
all these guys as someone on the coaching staff had
experienced with, whether it was Dante Fallor and Dorance Armstrong
(31:53):
and Bobby Wagner and played for him, Austin that Coda
played for Anthony and Winn.
Speaker 10 (31:57):
I mean was across the board.
Speaker 6 (31:58):
He saw every guy they brought in had some sort
of background with coaching staff Patriots is the same thing.
Speaker 10 (32:04):
You know they bring in.
Speaker 6 (32:05):
Steph Diggs was with Todd Downing, Morgan Moses was with
Todd Downing, Robert Spoyne was with Josh McDaniels, Harold Landry
was with Frabel Carlton Davis was with Terrell Williams and Detroit. Like,
all those guys had that background, and so like, I
think they've kind of gotten themselves again up.
Speaker 10 (32:23):
To that level ground and now whether or not they can.
Speaker 6 (32:25):
Elevate from all, right, like this team's a tough team
to play, and maybe they're like a seven.
Speaker 10 (32:31):
Win team versus like actually competing.
Speaker 6 (32:34):
For a playoff spot probably comes down to the development
of the young quarterback.
Speaker 10 (32:38):
Ender McDaniels.
Speaker 1 (32:39):
So, how do you see the division if you had
to peg it right now, how do you see it
playing out? Like so obviously Buffalo one than.
Speaker 6 (32:45):
What I think the Patriots and Jets are relatively even,
Like I think Patriots have a higher ceiling and quarterback.
I think the Jets may have more talent across the board.
I think we forget how good the I think the
Patriots and Jets are going to be neck and neck
because I I just go through it, and the quarterback
(33:07):
spot kind of held them hostage the last couple of years,
and and and where they were last year with ownership
and everything else. That wasn't Aaron's fault like that was
more like just overall organizational chaos.
Speaker 10 (33:20):
But you look at it, Brady, I mean.
Speaker 6 (33:23):
Like so many levels of the team. You've got, you know,
blue chip or four line, blue ship players like Garrett
Wilson at receiver now Olofashanhu on the offensive line. You know,
Garrett Brice Hall at running back, Quentin Williams, you know
Jamaine Johnson's got a high ceiling at defensive end, Quincy Wills.
Speaker 1 (33:43):
He had a lot of those guys last year, though
it didn't work out.
Speaker 6 (33:46):
You know they did, but they did, but it was
so fricking chaotic, you know what I mean, Like it
was just.
Speaker 1 (33:51):
Well, yeah, but what's changed. You have a new head
coach and new staff.
Speaker 10 (33:54):
Well, well, here's where it is is.
Speaker 1 (33:56):
And also, can we get a pick from you? We're
going to ride the fence the whole time? He is
right up, giant. I mean, how do you feel. I
feel like you're I feel like you're wearing it. You're
already gonna have swamp ass from going to Saint Joe's.
Now you're riding the fence. You can't give us a
damn pick between the Jets and the Patriots for the
number two spot.
Speaker 6 (34:13):
Dang Patriots two Jets, Patriots two Jets three.
Speaker 10 (34:16):
But I do think the.
Speaker 6 (34:17):
Patriots are going to be the Jets are really competitive.
I think the Jets, I think those two will be
neck and back. And I do think again they've got
like a really good base count. The difference this year
is in the first year of a new coach, what
he generally takes a step back. He doesn't start fiddling
with everything until the coaches two or three years in
(34:38):
that's generally been Azmo.
Speaker 3 (34:42):
But we're all in agreement that not all of them.
Not looking great for Miami this year, I would say,
I think.
Speaker 10 (34:49):
I think Miami. I think Miami is an undercover rebuilding team.
Speaker 4 (34:53):
I think they finished second.
Speaker 5 (34:54):
That's a good way to put it to undercover rebuilding.
Speaker 4 (34:58):
I think the Patriots finish the last store.
Speaker 10 (35:00):
Or by the way, I think Cleveland's I think Cleveland's.
Speaker 6 (35:03):
Undercover rebuilt too.
Speaker 10 (35:04):
I think there are a few of those this year.
Speaker 4 (35:08):
Are they undercover?
Speaker 1 (35:10):
Are the Saints undercover?
Speaker 7 (35:11):
I think there's some.
Speaker 10 (35:15):
Out there.
Speaker 1 (35:16):
They're like the space needle in Seattle. You got to
go see it because the fans.
Speaker 6 (35:21):
Are great because they because the quarterback situation is where
it is.
Speaker 10 (35:25):
And now you have like like.
Speaker 6 (35:27):
Two guys that have like legitimate, like real ties to
the organization that could be in the draft next year.
Now I don't have I don't know there's any chance
of our declared, but obviously he's got the ties to
the organization. And then the offensive coordinator's son is probably
could have a chance to be a first round pick
next year too. So the Saints have sort of there's
(35:48):
a lot of things lining up there.
Speaker 10 (35:49):
I'll just put it that way.
Speaker 4 (35:50):
Interesting a B.
Speaker 5 (35:52):
We appreciate it. Enjoy your travels, safe travels, and stay
out of the heat. Watch out that swamp ass.
Speaker 10 (35:58):
I'll be on the lookout for sure.
Speaker 4 (36:02):
That's gonna find you. Don't worry about it.

Speaker 7 (37:33):
But they're still good time to find out? What's lack?
It's Lee's lap jobs?
Speaker 4 (37:40):
All right?
Speaker 5 (37:41):
Who needs Lee when you've got Brie?
Speaker 4 (37:43):
Brie?
Speaker 5 (37:43):
What are we looking at today?
Speaker 8 (37:44):
Okay, So I know earlier this week you guys have
talked about SummerSlam and John Cena. Apparently he had like
a hair transplant. Oh well, if you guys knew that,
it's very obvious. I mean, if you look at him,
it's just it's a little.
Speaker 3 (37:58):
Yeah, they were uh because people were getting out and
bad about it when he was uh but you know.
Speaker 1 (38:06):
Yeah, what they're saying he had been hair.
Speaker 4 (38:09):
Yeah, I just think that's it. Poor guy. But I
mean I think that was kind of like his style.
Speaker 8 (38:16):
I don't think it looked bad, Like I don't know,
is that like a thing like guys are really self
conscious about their.
Speaker 4 (38:21):
Hair, right? Absolutely? Yeah, Yeah, I'm not clearly, I don't care.
Speaker 5 (38:27):
You need to get it done, get it done.
Speaker 4 (38:29):
Yeah, he's got a hole in his natural for certain.
Speaker 8 (38:31):
So I wanted to go over his daily routine that
he does to like kind of like keep this up.
Red light therapy, monoxidil, vitamins, shampoo, and a deep conditioner
all to take care of that for that.
Speaker 4 (38:45):
Hair dress, a little bit of hair growing there.
Speaker 5 (38:48):
It's like American psycho.
Speaker 3 (38:51):
Yeah, facial routine to get ready to get ready to
go each morning.
Speaker 7 (38:56):
You like a murderer.
Speaker 4 (38:57):
Yes, yeah, but you know Patrick Bale.
Speaker 5 (39:02):
Really yeah?
Speaker 8 (39:04):
Is that his name, yeah, Christian Christian Bale. But like
I think his name in the movie is Patrick Patrick Bateman.
Speaker 4 (39:11):
I think it is.
Speaker 3 (39:12):
Yeah, but I mean, let's say if it works. I
think you uh now he's doing. He's getting a lot
of acting roles. Everybody can't have it all. Like lebron
Is the goat. He ain't got no hairline, Michael Jordan
the goat, he ain't got no hairline. Kevin Durant, he
(39:35):
ain't got no hairline. Prime, he ain't got no hairline.
He went and got it done. Though they did, they
did rejuvenate. I think him and Erlacker used the same
Irlacker looks like you got. Irlacker's hairstyle is so like
it's very you know, like the dude on the Incredibles,
(39:55):
the dad. The way his hair is right, it's very.
Speaker 4 (40:00):
Uh Disney, a nice quafft Disney like perfect, is what
I was saying. I thought he was bald, No, No,
he was, Yeaholant. Look at his hair transplant. Yeah, oh
see you.
Speaker 8 (40:15):
Now that's a little bit more natural looking to me
than Sina's.
Speaker 4 (40:19):
Yes, but none of that. I mean, apparently they're the
best in the business, the ones er Lacquer and I
mean you look at Dion's here, it looks like he's
got a new head of hair. That's great. Yeah, So
there you go. You can't have it all, so take that,
take that little bit of a hair loss, and you know,
run with it. That's all. He's made a ton of
(40:40):
money though. Oh he's got a lot of people that
love him too. You know, they don't care about his hair.
Speaker 5 (40:46):
Yeah, good for him.
Speaker 4 (40:49):
Live in that bird's nest.
