Doing good?

Speaker 3 (03:06):
How you guys doing good?

Speaker 2 (03:07):
Man?

Speaker 5 (03:08):
We're good. Now. We have it on good authority that
you're sick and tired of hearing about the toush push.
So what's the way is that's what's going on? What's
the Oh my god, what's bothering you?

Speaker 2 (03:21):
Dean? I've gone on record. I don't love the play.
Whatever great Eagles are do it better than anybody else.
They work at it, they practice good for them. I'm
just you know, we had the game in Kansas City,
obviously Super Bowl rematch. This is like, this is the
biggest early game of the year so far. The two teams,

(03:42):
the whole deal and we're watching, quite frankly, just the
crappiest football play. We got false starts, we got off sides,
we got all kinds of crap on this play and
no calls and it's just not I just don't like it.
And finally just got set up and you know, I
just said, I'm done with the toush push. Guys. It
was it toom Brady was like, Brady was like giving

(04:04):
me the thumbs up. He's like, yeah, he goes and
he's like, you tell him go. I'm like, yeah, I know,
I know.

Speaker 8 (04:11):
In all seriousness, it feels like, let's just go back
to the genesis of like why this play is even allowed.

Speaker 4 (04:19):
So you guys did away with.

Speaker 8 (04:21):
The whole you know, pushing an eighty runner because you
feel like you could officiate it properly correct.

Speaker 2 (04:28):
Yeah, that's what happened back in oh five, and so
this had been illegal forever and then there and it
wasn't it right. This play didn't exist, right, This didn't
exist until the Eagles started doing it. Whenever twenty one
for what it was twenty two, and so there was
there was some plays, especially near the goal line, where
the runner would get hit stacked up and you've got

(04:48):
a big pile and the linemen are pushing both. You know,
defense is pushing offenses pushing, and it was a harder
play to officiate, and you just never the fishers just
call it so, and in hindsight it was a mistake,
Like in my view, it was a mistake to take
that out and it was fine until until you know

(05:11):
that now we get this play, which is a pretty
easy play to officiate. If you took it out, you
couldn't be pretty easy to say you okay, you know
they're they're pushing it to the foul and maybe look,
maybe they take it out in the off season. We'll
see and then teams do something else. You just never
know what's going to happen. But in hindsight, it was

(05:31):
a mistake to take that out.

Speaker 7 (05:33):
Dan, I gotta ask this, and I know you know
the answer to it because I've been around you when
you were in office and you were active and you
had your remote control. As I always bring up, which
I thought is super crazy cool, Why are you guys,
why why do the decision makers allow the linemen to
run a muck? And I believe what I saw on Sunday,

(05:58):
they are running way more a muck than what I've
seen in prior years. Like I saw guys literally beer
hugging guys from behind, like the guy was about to
go make a play, the lineman puts his arms around him,
his arms and pulsing from behind. I've seen some of

(06:19):
the most. I mean, it's it's upsetting for me as
a defender. It's upsetting to see it. How is this?
How how is like? What are the conversations with these
referees in allowing these linemen to just hold at basically
any cost, any angle, any anything, and it not get called.

Speaker 2 (06:43):
Well, yeah, no, it's a great point. I do think
in recent years there has been this push and they
won't come out and say it, but to less flags, right,
and it's been and people think, oh, you know, that
was such a great game. There was no flags, there
was no and and and it, and there's less stoppages,

(07:04):
which is good. But when you have that kind of
mindset and then you know, you know you played, you
know where Okay, they're gonna let us play today, and
that's that, you know we're gonna let them play today,
you know you can probably push the envelope and get
away with a little more and right now, that's what's happening. Okay,
I'm not getting flag. Okay, I'm gonna try to gain

(07:26):
an advantage. And and that's what's happening. And look, the
gap I don't think you guys probably know better than me,
but the gap between offensive line play and offensive linemen
and and the defensive line, I don't think it's ever
been greater in terms of athleticism and everything else. And
so they're already out of they're already out of deficiency.
And now you know they're they're they're doing their best

(07:48):
to try to you know, just just even the planes.

Speaker 7 (07:50):
So just go ahead and let them hold them because
you're just not as an athletic guys, you.

Speaker 2 (07:55):
Can't and and and that, and that's not right. Right.
They say, you got to call it when it's there.
You got to call it because if you don't, it's
just going to get worse and worse. And then that,
you know, and then defensive players get frustrated, and then
it turns into other stuff that you got to kind
of you got to handle, and that's not good for
the game either.

Speaker 5 (08:15):
Dean Blandino joining us here on Fox Sports Radio. It's
LaVar Arrington Brady Quinn, Jonas Knox with you here, two
pros and a cup of Joe on FSR. I do
want to ask you at the leveraging call that Denver
got called for that ultimately led to the rekick in
Indianapolis winning that game. So what what is the rule?

(08:35):
What was the infraction? You just you can't use the
person on the line to propel yourself. Is that basically
sort of the gist of out the rule works.

Speaker 2 (08:45):
Yeah, you can't. You can't put either your hands your arms.
You can't push off, whether it's a teammate or or
an opponent. You can't push off to gain height to
block the kick. That look, I think I think that's
if you watch it like I can see, Okay, Yeah,
by rule, that's a foul. It happens a lot and

(09:08):
doesn't get called, and that's such a big play. I
think the legal support that call I had. Trump Payton
texted me yesterday. I hadn't seen the play, but he
asked me if it was a foul, And when I
looked at it, I said, they're going to support it
because he did put his left hand down, he pushed off,
and he did propel himself and and so that is
the rule. Again, you don't see it called all that often,

(09:30):
but that's obviously a huge call in the game.

Speaker 4 (09:34):
Indeed, you were with was it Tom and the crew
this week?

Speaker 2 (09:38):
Yeah? Yeah, he was with me. He was with me.

Speaker 6 (09:42):
Yeah.

Speaker 4 (09:44):
But did you actually did you go to the RV
trailer thing? Did you guys going there?

Speaker 2 (09:52):
I haven't been in it yet. I haven't been in
it yet.

Speaker 4 (09:54):
No, but you know about it, don't you?

Speaker 2 (09:57):
Oh? Yeah, Oh yeah, yeah, it's the often What is Q?

Speaker 6 (10:01):
What's he getting? What is Q?

Speaker 4 (10:03):
He's he travels around in a uh like a luxury mobile.

Speaker 2 (10:08):
Hole. Yeah, it's not every week, but there is. Yeah,
and it has like all like I would do it
too with it because it has all you know, it's
like it's like an extension of his home. He's comfortable. Yeah.
I haven't been in it yet, though, you know, I
kind of I'm a man, a man of the people,
a man of the people. I stay. We got to

(10:29):
stay in the four seasons, all right, I'll stay in
the four seasons, all right.

Speaker 4 (10:33):
Yes, that sounds like a big struggle there, said of
the four seasons.

Speaker 7 (10:37):
Tang dang? What what jumped out at you this weekend?
Like when you're watching it. Obviously, again I said, it's
hard to watch as a civilian once you've seen it
the way that you're going to see, whether it's a player,
whether it's doing it as a rules expert and calls.
What what did you see this weekend that jumped off

(10:57):
the screen that was like worth committing to memory for you.

Speaker 2 (11:01):
Well, obviously, look our game Chiefs Eagles. It was it
was both defenses. We were really dominating the game. We
talked about the sosh Bush, We talked about the alignment,
those types of things. Then you watch a game like
like Dallas and the Giants and there was no defense
in the second half and it was just like a
shootout and it was It was a crazy game. I
think again, like we talked about last week, we're still

(11:23):
the football isn't isn't top notch. Yet It'll get there,
you know, Week four, Week five. You know, from an
officiating perspective, I think they're you know, they have to.
They're going to continue to emphasize the sportsmanship to ship
stuff and the and the taunting and those types of things.
Shut Cee Lamb in that game, right, Giants had three.
I haven't seen that in a long time Giants had

(11:44):
three fouls on one play and then ceedee lamb got
up and got in somebody's face, and and and and
that offset all of it, which is which is the
right the right rule. But so I just think those
are things that players are going to have to continue to,
you know, make sure they just because those penalties are
big in the game.

Speaker 5 (12:05):
As an official, when did you feel like you were
all right, we've got the early Are we talking like
week three, week four? You feel like everybody's starting to
kind of come into their own as.

Speaker 2 (12:14):
Far as Yeah, I think I think by week three,
week four, probably week four. Again, it's look, when I
remember when I first started at the league office, I mean,
the preseason was legit like, and so I think it
was earlier, right because they were playing four preseason games.
Your started like that. That third preseason game was like
a regular season game for a lot of teams almost

(12:36):
you know, two and a half three quarters. So I
think now it does probably get through the first month
of the season and then teams no, Okay, this is
who we are and what we're good at, and I
think it gets better from there.

Speaker 8 (12:51):
Indeed, I keep looking at passing our ferrets I feel
like it's obviously the way you're rewarded of the offense
makes us so impactful in games. But also I feel
like we're getting to a point where it just, I
don't know, let's get a little touchy out there, you
know what I'm saying, Like, I feel like we're calling
it or more apt to call it than not. And

(13:11):
I'm not asking if the officials are being coach different
about this. I just feel like, are they cognizant of
how much this could turn a game or change your drive?

Speaker 2 (13:20):
I think they are. It's a big right when you
get a thirty yard penalty, it's on an underthrown ball.
Sometimes right it's it's it's a big big it's a
big call. And they are coached. And I remember E.
Maurused to talk when when John Fox when he was
at the Panthers and then at the Bears, and he
used to complain about past and appearances. He said something

(13:40):
that always stuck with me. He's like, he's like, the
event to passenger should call itself. And I kind of
always thought that was a good way of looking at it,
because you should jump out right, it should be obvious
these are big penalties and you want to allow. You know,
we talk about hand fighting if a jockey for position,
you know, receivers are just as handsy too, and you
can't let them get away with stuff. So but you

(14:02):
wanted to really call itself. And I like the rule
because I feel like it versus the college rule because
if you took away that, if you went to more
of a college rule. Right, these dbs are so good,
you're gonna you're gonna really hurt the d passing game
and they're going to play really aggressively in that game
and say, okay, I'll give up the fifteen versus versus

(14:23):
a thirty yard play. And so I like where it is.
But I do think the officials have You just have
to continue to be consistent not not called tiki tech
stuff because like you said, it's a big it's a
big penalty in the game.

Speaker 7 (14:35):
Personal opinion is Kansas City or are they on the
decline or you know, just siers?

Speaker 6 (14:43):
What is the runover?

Speaker 2 (14:46):
We talked about it yesterday and I think, look that
defense is great. They you know you've fags is incredible.
You know their defensive coordinators, Dee Spagnolo. I think let's
see who they are when they get rushy, right, you
know zaby Worthy was out. Yes, it was that on Sunday.

(15:07):
It just looked like they weren't. You know, Mahomes didn't
have a ton of options people getting open for him.
He was doing more with his legs. Obviously scored a
touchdown a rushing TV So I want to see them
at full strength on offense because that defense is going
to keep them in games. So I don't think it's
over yet. I would never count them out.

Speaker 5 (15:29):
Dean Blandino joining us here on Fox Sports Radio. He's
Fox Sports NFL College Football rules Analyst. Where do you
stand on targeting in college football? There was, you know,
we see it seemingly every week. LSU had a player ejected,
but on the broadcast, I think it was Sean McDonough said, well,
you know, he's the new change this year. He's allowed

(15:51):
to stay on the sidelines for the rest of the game.
And say, okay, well that helps, But like, where do
you stand in general on how targeting is handled in
college For yeah, I.

Speaker 2 (16:01):
Think the rule has done its job. I think when
it first went in, you know, targeting is two thousand
and eight, two thousand and nine, and the hits that
you saw, then you don't see anymore. So I think
it's done its job. But I think we got to
look at the rule because the game is evolved and
players have done a great job, coaches, everybody's done a
really good job. Now we got to look at the rule.

(16:21):
To me, I really do think the disqualification is it's
too punitive because there's different layers of targeting. You can see, right,
you can see a targeting and go, yeah, okay, that's
that's a foul by rule. And now now if it's
in the third quarter, guess what you're missing the rest
of this game, in the first half of the next game.
That's such a big penalty. I think we got to
get to can we get Okay, there are some hits

(16:44):
that should be fifteen yard penalties, but not the disqualification.
I think that's the next iteration of this rule. And
I'm part of the rules committee in college football, so
you know we're going to look at that and hopefully
we can get the rules committee and the people, you know,
the powers that be on board with Hey, these are
not there penalties, but they shouldn't be disqualifications. And I

(17:07):
think we got to look at that. That going forward.

Speaker 4 (17:10):
Did you get some Italian when you guys were in
Kansas City?

Speaker 2 (17:14):
Did see that again?

Speaker 4 (17:15):
Did you get some Italian while you guys were in
Kansas City? Or do you go barbecue?

Speaker 2 (17:19):
Of course, of course we went to and I'm not
it's not going to be a great promo because I
already forgot the name of it. But they we stayed
at the Lows where the Eagles were staying, so we
got we got some big Dom time, which was great.
And uh, you speaking of Italians, so that's yeah, that's
the Italian that I got. But we had some good

(17:40):
food and we ate. We Travis and Patrick are part
of like they're they're involved with this restaurant that was
just opened up at opening up.

Speaker 8 (17:49):
At the Yeah, yeah, the fifth fifteen to eighty seven Steakhouse.
I believe yep, it looks to be a good spot
real quick though. On the Doab front, Uh do you
kind of look at like his role with the Eagles
that feel like most teams should have someone but I
feel like they do, but it's not to the extent
that Dom's able to, you know, kind of control the sidelines,

(18:13):
control the team and all the stuff that goes on.

Speaker 2 (18:15):
Well, everybody. You know, every team has somebody like that.
I think Dob, who's awesome, by the way, who's I
think she's become and not and when you talk to him,
she doesn't like He just he doesn't want the spotlight.
He doesn't. But I think it finds him. And so
now that people know, you know, you have the situation

(18:35):
with the Niners where he got thrown out of the
game and with I think it was green Law, and
so now it's kind of like people recognize him and
it's almost like the camera finds him and I think
we just see him more like you saw him on
the broadcast, you know, when when Sirianni was going going
a halftime and John with the officials a little bit

(18:56):
and Don was there. So everybody has a Dom, but
I think Dom is just more, you know, he's more known,
and at this point, I think the camera just just
tends to find him.

Speaker 5 (19:09):
Good Penn Stater.

Speaker 6 (19:11):
He is a Penn Stater.

Speaker 5 (19:14):
Dean always appreciate it. Man, thanks so much for the time.
And I felt like we kept it a little more
classy this week, more professional.

Speaker 2 (19:21):
Yeah, there was no no dildo talk. Thanks guys.

Speaker 8 (19:25):
I was going to point out though, there was a
dildo throat. I believe it was the Bengals game.

Speaker 2 (19:30):
Brady has Brady has like it at his home like
a bildo counter and every time any game and for
North American professional sports, he's going to branch out as
well that when bildo has thrown it like goes off
and it's like, oh we got one, and we got
one in Omaha.

Speaker 8 (19:47):
It's actually called the dildo doppler. It definitely keeps looking
for it. But just thoughts on that. Indeed, you lied
to us the last time we had you on you
said there was official responsible for I have had seen
it one official pick one up the entire time. It's
usually some guys short as ass crack, which is also

(20:08):
a pad.

Speaker 4 (20:08):
Pick up a dial though, but that's for another another day.

Speaker 2 (20:12):
Exactly exactly, all right.

Speaker 9 (20:13):
Guys, all right, all right, ah, there he is Dean
Blandino with us here all lies.

Speaker 6 (20:26):
Aboord mission.

(20:50):
apparently has been started up yet again in the world
of football, and it took place last night. We'll get
into that for you right here on FS My Doubler
Don't work.

(21:38):

Speaker 5 (21:43):
It is Two Pros and a Cup of Joe Fox
Sports Radio, LaVar Arrington, Brady Quinn, Jonas Knox with you here.
We are going to have another edition of Lee's Leftovers.
That'll be yours here again about fifteen minutes from now
here on FSR, so you'll hear from Lee who's got
some some sad news to report a little over fifteen

(22:03):
minutes from now here Fox Sports Radio. With that being said,
we did, we did talk about We did talk about
Monday Night football. We had two games last night. Big
win for the Bucks, come back win. Baker Mayfield on
a fourth down play scrambles, picks up a first down,
they go down the field, they score, and the LA

(22:23):
Chargers get it done in Las Vegas. They are now
two and zero. And one of the interesting storylines in
the game with the Raiders was they showed Tom Brady
in the booth up with the coaches watching the game,
and Peter Schreger reported on during the broadcast that Brady
meets with offensive coordinator Chip Kelly multiple times a week

(22:45):
to go over things. And so after the game, Pete Carroll,
the head coach of the Raiders, was asked about the
situation with Tom Brady and it went like this.

Speaker 12 (22:55):
There was a report that Tom Brady meets three times
a week or so with Chip Kelly goes over film
with them. We saw him up in the booth with
the headset on. I just was curious your thoughts on
that level of a participation with covert.

Speaker 13 (23:09):
Yeah, that's not it's not accurate. That's not accurate. If
that's not accurate, we have conversations. I talked to Tom.
Chip talks and Tom regularly. I mean, we have a
tremendous asset and so, you know, and we all get
along well and we respect each other, and so we
just talked, you know, about life and football and whatever
it comes. And he has great insight. So we're lucky

(23:33):
to have him as an owner.

Speaker 5 (23:34):
So it feels like there's some different stories being told
about Brady's involvement with the Raiders. And I look at
it like this, and I can understand people think there's
a conflict of interest. And he was just in Kansas
City called a Chiefs game, and then he's you know,
up in the booth watching the Raiders and the Chargers. Like,
if everybody knew this when they signed up for it,

(23:56):
if they relaxed some of the restrictions, then what's the
point of being concerned about it now? Like they've they've
let it go this far. He's now involved, he's calling games.
If they didn't have a problem with it enough then
to put their foot down, why even bring up the
discussion or be weird about it any anytime Now afterwards,
it feels like this is what it is, and if

(24:18):
Tom Brady's going to be there, he's going to be
as involved as he wants, and people can complain about it.
But the league let it go and they released they
relax the restrictions this offseason anyways.

Speaker 8 (24:27):
Right, I mean, they never should have let him be
an owner in the first place. If that, if that
was going to be the concern, they never should have.

Speaker 4 (24:34):
Let to be an owner.

Speaker 8 (24:35):
Well, they should have made a pick and say, look,
if you want to be a minority owner, okay, you
can't call games for Fox. So that would have been
the most sound thing to alleviate all these concerns. But
clearly they've allowed him to do both, so you can't
really complain about it. And who knows that The truth
is always somewhere in the middle. So I'm not sure

(24:57):
it's to the extent that was reported, as Pete Carroll
kind of pushed back on. But at the same time,
I'm sure he is helping out in a big way,
and it's impossible to think he's not taking the information
he's learning, especially calling a game that involves a divisional opponent,
and not apply it to them.

Speaker 7 (25:17):
I just think they want Tom Brady to rise all boats,
all ships with his his rising tide impact. So it's
very difficult because Fox helps make the NFL what the
NFL needs to be. And why would you take away

(25:37):
somebody who is going to generate more money for Fox,
which in turn is going to generate more money for
the league. It's it's to me, it feels like it's
it's an easy it's an easy situation to work through
and and and for what it's worth, it's not lacking

(25:59):
the The Raiders are that much better. You know that
that should be added. It's not like we're looking at
this team that now now that Tom Brady is on it,
like you're looking at a team that, oh, it shows
signs of being the new the new Patriots team that
he was on it, And that's not That's not generally

(26:20):
how this works. And it doesn't matter the information that
that he is able to ascertain during the course of
his time of.

Speaker 6 (26:29):
Working with Fox.

Speaker 7 (26:31):
Really you're you're gonna prepare to be able to call
the game, see what the storylines within the game are,
relate them to your experiences in the game, and be
done with the game. And and and the people that
he can have contact with are people that he probably
would already have contact with. Anyway, that's already been discussed,

(26:52):
it's already been gone through. There's no reason to even
act as though like Tom Brady has some type of
unfeir a van it by being a part of the
Las Vegas Raiders. You know what his unfair advantage is
that he won more than anybody else, that he's Tom Brady.
That's his unfair advantage, and there's no reason to punish that.

Speaker 6 (27:12):
That's how I see it.

Speaker 5 (27:14):
How much information are you actually getting from teams if
you're calling one of their games, Like, how much like intell.

Speaker 4 (27:23):
You you get a lot? You get a lot.

Speaker 8 (27:25):
I mean, especially if in your production meetings sometimes it's
a little more guarded, it's a little different. But when
you're calling a game, because you're there, you're on the field,
you're tied to coach, you're trying to players, you get
a lot.

Speaker 5 (27:35):
Okay, that's what they're willing to give you a lot,
so that interaction on the field before the game, you
would probably get more of the quote unquote juicy.

Speaker 6 (27:43):
Stuff than you would is based off of relationships.

Speaker 4 (27:46):
Man, Yeah, I mean you could.

Speaker 8 (27:47):
You could be reached out to text guys, call guys
by bump into them. It's not yeah, it's not so
much like oh, just because you're on the field before
the game.

Speaker 4 (27:54):
Necessarily, it's the relationships that you have.

Speaker 8 (27:57):
If you're on the field, you don't know anyone who
are going to talk to She should randomly run up
to guys and what do you think they're gonna say to you?
But you get enough where you know you shouldn't be
betting on games. You know, if you're in that position,
you should be telling anyone what you know because you
hear a lot of stuff. So it's it's it's definitely

(28:17):
provides an advantage, There's no doubt about it. And now
it really comes down to are people going to tell
Tom Brady stuff that could be used for the Raiders
benefit or for his benefit?

Speaker 4 (28:32):
You know?

Speaker 8 (28:32):
That's that's the interesting part to all of it. And
what's amazing about it is like, you know, Tom Brady's
obviously the goat, so he doesn't really need much of
anything if you really think about it, Like Tom Brady
doesn't really have to talk to anyone. He can watch film,
he can interpret it how he wants, and he can
basically just kind of sit there and call it how

(28:53):
he sees. Yeah, and there's not one person that would
second guess that because again because of his ability to
say how he feels, whatever he thinks, and no one's.

Speaker 4 (29:05):
Gonna question it because of his success.

Speaker 7 (29:09):
Well, with that being said, if you do tell him
something and it is used against you, you're never going
to go back across that bridge again. You're never going
to go down that road again. So there's a level
of integrity that tom Brady, which I would assume is
bright as he is, he understands that being in the
businesses that he's in, that you don't valulate those trust codes,

(29:33):
Like there are things that will probably be discussed with
him that go far beyond what the public will get
a hold of ever, and those interactions and exchanges will
take place if it becomes knowledgeable, like if it becomes
public domain, then there had to be a reason in
a way that it became that. And if tom Brady

(29:55):
is some way connected to that being a part of
the media.

Speaker 6 (29:58):
I don't give a damn if you're Tom Brady or not.

Speaker 7 (30:00):
At that point, you've now disqualified being Tom Brady. And
and he's not above that that that that I know
for certain he could get chin chin checked just like
anybody else.

Speaker 6 (30:13):
And he knows that come out. So I mean, you're
not gonna just go violate check if you if I
had to, how would you chin check?

Speaker 7 (30:22):
And it doesn't matter. I don't I don't get I
don't get into talking like that. I'm just saying it
is what it is. But I am a chin checker
still at forty seven, and get it. Don't get it twisted.
Check man, shut up, you keep talking. I'm gonna show
you how to get Yeah, whatever that was you, you
were the one. Go get go get a belt, Jonas,

(30:43):
go get a belt, come back, come right back. That
was you as a kid. Yeah, I mean you can't
say that anymore these days. You know, they'll come get you.
What they call it Cephis.

Speaker 2 (30:57):
C y S.

Speaker 7 (30:58):
They'll come get you man, child you, Child Youth Services,
Child Protective Sir, CPS.

Speaker 6 (31:05):
There you go, there you go, CPS.

Speaker 5 (31:07):
And this isn't Adrian Peterson you.

Speaker 7 (31:09):
Know, you just never know, man, you know, and some
people felt like that made them good kids getting that branch.
I used to get the bigger branch, not the little one.
I didn't want to switch. I wanted a branch I take.
I take physical.

Speaker 5 (31:22):
Remember my my older brother in wood shop made a
paddle as this project for.

Speaker 6 (31:27):
My mom to use on it on you.

Speaker 7 (31:29):
Yeah, yeah, on you, because I could tell about your
line of question and that your mom wanted to spank.

Speaker 5 (31:33):
But he drilled holes in it so that they didn't
take the air away.

Speaker 6 (31:36):
Yeah, oh yeah, take away that air resistance.

Speaker 5 (31:39):
You know, well done.

Speaker 7 (31:42):
But anyway, I'm just saying I don't I think it's
overstated to say that we can't use Tom Brady because
he's getting too much information that gives him an advantage
with the raiders.

Speaker 5 (31:56):
I think that's overstated by the way he's gotten better
as a broadcaster this year. He's getting a lot more comfortable.

Speaker 8 (32:03):
And you're not gonna hear anyone compliment of though, because
they're gonna trying to hateut him a little bit. But
to your point, yes, he sounds much more comfortable than both.

Speaker 5 (32:11):
Yeah, so hey, we got your back, Tom. Let anybody

Robert Redford, of course legendary actor, has passed away this
morning at the age of eighty nine. Passed away at
his home in Sundance in the mountains of Utah, surrounded
by loved one and he of course he would be
greatly missed. You remember him from, of course, movies like Butch,
Cassie and the Sun, Dance Kid, The Sting, All the
President's Men, Ordinary People, which he directed, and Uh River
runs through It, amongst many many many others.

Speaker 5 (34:11):
Interesting, Right, the Natural, The Natural? That's right?

Speaker 3 (34:16):

Speaker 14 (34:17):
What a great movie The Natural was to Robert redford Man,
one of the.

Speaker 3 (34:21):

into the Lights eighty nine look great too? Always was
last last public appearances? Wasn't he the guy?

Speaker 7 (34:36):

Speaker 6 (34:36):
Also?

Speaker 5 (34:38):
What was the movie where Woody Harrelson's married to Demi
Moore and Robert.

Speaker 6 (34:47):
Proposal to me more?

Speaker 5 (34:48):
It's like, uh, Debbie Moore isn't More? Yeah, that's that's
how she pronounced.

Speaker 3 (34:55):
I think that's how she wants it now.

Speaker 6 (34:56):
Yeah, it was in Decent Proposal. Yeah, it was in
d you're.

Speaker 4 (35:00):
Telling me she what's her name? Pronounced Demi?

Speaker 6 (35:03):

Speaker 8 (35:22):
Well, first off, that's a little different, all right, it's
pronounced it's pronounced bijon.

Speaker 5 (35:28):
But doesn't his mom and grandma say differently?

Speaker 6 (35:31):
Did you know that Denzel's name is Denzel?

Speaker 5 (35:35):
Really?

Speaker 6 (35:36):
How about that? Since we're doing that.

Speaker 4 (35:38):
Kidding, are we? Is that her pronouncing it? Denzel? Denzel
Denzel Senior.

Speaker 7 (35:45):
His mom started calling him Denzel because they were answering
to Denzel, which I was.

Speaker 6 (35:52):
In my mind.

Speaker 7 (35:53):
I'm like, then, I don't want to get into that,
but he he his actual name is Denzel.

Speaker 5 (36:01):
Denzel Washing. You're one of these Hollywood blowhards. Why do
we have to be putting you up on game when
it comes to this stuff?

Speaker 4 (36:07):
Yeah, Wesley, call her Debby, I.

Speaker 3 (36:11):
Said, Debbie. I always thought I thought, I said Demi. Well,
in fact, I didn't even say it.

Speaker 5 (36:15):
That's her calling right now.

Speaker 14 (36:17):
Well, she she was obviously nominated for an oscar last year.

Speaker 7 (36:21):
Well, she won an award for that movie and decent
proposal cut. She threw that thing back and Robert Ridford
he was there to catch it.

Speaker 5 (36:29):
Battleships, m.

Speaker 6 (36:33):
Fire movie and Woody Harrelson.

Speaker 7 (36:36):
You should have never let her go door, Matt, you're
gonna take the cash. He then turned your shorty out,
rolled out on you.

Speaker 6 (36:46):
I bet you that cash didn't mean what. I bet
you the value on that cash lost a little bit
of lust and luster, then out out the out the
what come out the frame.

Speaker 7 (36:57):
Robert Ridford is resting in peace knowing that he tore
Woody Harrelson, shorty out the frame, Rest easy, Robert.

Speaker 4 (37:12):
There's something wrong with what is wrong with?

Speaker 6 (37:19):
Oh no, I don't know, but there is, that's true.
Oh yeah, what else? What else?

Speaker 2 (37:25):

Speaker 3 (37:26):
Well, I got some demon here for you.

Speaker 14 (37:28):

a Vegas Christmas residency at Park MGM. Of course we know,
uh Mariah Carey for famous Christmas songs that we talk
about every year that she garners about two and a
half to three million dollars for all I want for

hard hat lunch pail guy.

Speaker 8 (38:20):
That would be true if we actually saw you around people,
But you just hear like a whole body kind of
a vampire weirdough.

Speaker 5 (38:25):
