Speaker 2 (00:27):
Give this you're listening to Fox Sports Radio.

Speaker 3 (00:35):
Hey, get a var bye.

Speaker 4 (00:41):
Bye bye whoa Jonas? I, Uh, we had a baptism
yesterday for our month old son.

Speaker 5 (00:51):
Yeah, and uh, the only reason that made me think
of Chopper is because you know, this song came on,
you know, the whole ay, like every time he heard it.
But he's getting to the point where Chopper will just
forget some family events. So he'll eventually show up, but
like it depends on where exactly he ends up making
it to. Didn't make it to the church. He made

(01:13):
it to the brunch afterwards, but was not able to
make it to the church. So classic classic Chopper style.

Speaker 6 (01:20):
That's my type of guy. Yeah, perfect time. And they
say you know.

Speaker 5 (01:25):
He was he was there for the food, and he
was there for the food and a few beers.

Speaker 3 (01:29):
So you go that night. A couple buddies do that.

Speaker 7 (01:33):
They skipped the church event, but seem to make it
to the after party.

Speaker 8 (01:37):
Yeah, I mean for weddings, I think that's the way
to go.

Speaker 5 (01:40):
I mean, if you're not really into the whole spiritual
aspect of things, right, No, you don't.

Speaker 3 (01:44):
Even have to go that deep with it.

Speaker 6 (01:46):
It's just some people would just tend to not be
bored by, you know, festivities that take place and the sanctuary.

Speaker 3 (02:02):
That's what I would say.

Speaker 6 (02:03):
Yeah, it's not that they're not spiritual or even religious
and you know or you know, have those those beliefs.
It's just that, you know, it could be really like
like for me, I had to go to church all
the time growing up, like Tuesdays, Fridays, Sunday school Sunday

(02:26):
church like revivals, revivals as that it was called, listen
I was. I grew up in that all the time.
I had to put suits on, be dressed up. It
was hot at times, it was super cold at times.
So as an adult, I just don't go. I know,
it sounds crazy. I just don't go.

Speaker 7 (02:50):
You're like, you're like, what's Jack's No. My watches ended.

Speaker 5 (02:57):
And someone said to me once though, that you were
worried if you walked into a church again, like the
whole thing would just burned down.

Speaker 3 (03:02):
No, I'm not. I'm not that.

Speaker 6 (03:06):
I'm not that dude, you know, because here's the thing, right,
when when you make comments like that, no no, no, no,
no no no.

Speaker 3 (03:14):
That wasn't like towards you.

Speaker 6 (03:16):
I'm saying a general comment like that would be met
by somebody like myself who understands the meaning of church,
knowing that that is exactly where people that it should
burn down if they walk in, should be right, That's
supposed to be the place where it cools your ass off.

Speaker 8 (03:38):
Maybe so true?

Speaker 6 (03:40):
Maybe yeah, I mean, like, hey, you are evil, you
don't belong here.

Speaker 3 (03:45):
No, it's exactly where you belong.

Speaker 8 (03:48):
You know, that's true.

Speaker 5 (03:51):
Speaking of church, the reason why he wasn't able to
make it the church was he was watching the Ryder Cup, which, again,
I know you you don't care to talk much about golf,
but there's a bigger issue at stake here.

Speaker 8 (04:06):
Ultimately, I think in the end it wouldn't have mattered.
But they have a rule.

Speaker 5 (04:11):
It's called an envelope rule, and there was supposed to
be twelve players that play head to head one on one,
and that was the only chance the US had of
coming back as they were down by so much.

Speaker 8 (04:24):
And the envelope rule is if you have.

Speaker 5 (04:26):
A player, in this case Victor Hoflin who cannot play
due to injury. I think he had a neck issue,
that they just get rid of the match and each
team gets a half point. Now a lot of golf
fans have an issue with this, as do I because
in a spirit of sport like there should be an alternate,
There should be a backup, someone who can come in

(04:47):
and take this person's place. I don't think you should
be rewarded half a point for not even showing up.
So in the end, the europe team was able to win.
I think they would have mathematically won anyway. They built
up such a lead from Friday to Saturday, but it
was like an unprecedented Sunday of golf. I think, if
I'm not mistaken, the US only lost one match of

(05:11):
the eleven that were left.

Speaker 8 (05:13):
They won like seven or so, and then I think
they have or tied the rest.

Speaker 5 (05:19):
But it got really, really interesting, really really close late
to actually make a comeback. So it was it was
a pretty cool event to see. But man, it got
dicey out there on the course if you didn't follow it.
A lot of people chirping at Rory, a lot of
people chripping at Shane Lowry, a lot of the other Europeans.
It was not taken very well. Pretty sure, Bryce and

(05:41):
d Chambeau and I'm trying to think whose caddio was
Tommy Fleewood's caddy. They looked like they were getting into it.
Ted Scott, who was Scheffler's. I don't know if he
was stoking the fire or not, but it looked like
we might have had to throw down at some point.

Speaker 8 (05:54):
It was, it was. It was fun to watch. They
got a little heated.

Speaker 6 (05:57):
So so what you guys are saying is is thata
and Liam Cohen was watching the Ryder Cup and decided
to keep keep that can that's what.

Speaker 7 (06:08):
Can I ask you this though before we get because
by the way, Robert.

Speaker 3 (06:13):
Sala was ready to put them balls.

Speaker 7 (06:16):
So let me ask you this. And I don't know
if this is doable or possible. Is it possible or
doable that golf puts this event on when it's not
football season.

Speaker 8 (06:30):
Yeah, it would be doable.

Speaker 5 (06:32):
Here's the thing is, I don't know how much crossover
there is between the two, and I think the other
thing that like, it's a better made for TV event
from all the guys I know that went to it
because for the majority of it, besides the final day,
you only have four groups you're following, So you have

(06:53):
forty thousand people who are all trying to follow four groups.
So essentially they're on like two maybe three holes at
a time, so it becomes really packed. It's hard to
see unless you're in the grand stands off of number one,
and then once those groups go through, like that's kind
of it. So from in person standpoint, I'm not sure
it will make a big difference one way or another.

(07:15):
I think the same people would probably show out. But
from from a television standpoint, yeah, it would have. It
would have been nice to not have it go head
to head versus the NFL.

Speaker 7 (07:25):
How big of an upset was it.

Speaker 8 (07:28):
It wasn't an upset at all. I think Europe I mean,
they're pretty evenly national.

Speaker 5 (07:33):
Was all said and done, And the interesting thing about
that particular course is like it is known as being
a really ridiculously hard course. Like they have signages that
are posted up for amateur golfers that basically says like
good luck. So the fact that they cut down the
rough the way they did, which I believe was part
of the directive of Keegan Bradley, it made it easier

(07:53):
because typically that rough is growing out to about five
six inches and it's hard to find balls. It's hard
to hit balls out of it. And I think if
there's anything they might look at outside of a couple
of the pairings they did, that might be something they
go back and look at Sara, like, maybe we just
let the course be how it is and you know,
we'll play it out that way. But there was definitely
some pairings that struggled Friday Saturday that also led to that.

Speaker 7 (08:15):
I mean, it's good, you know, we got Prisco coming up.
It's good to see red asses prevail, you know, in
the world of sports over the weekend, whether it's the
Ryder Cup, whether it's elsewhere. By the way, if you

Speaker 3 (08:51):
All right, So.

Speaker 7 (08:53):
Robert Sala made some comments last week basically saying that
Liam Cohen and Kevin O'Connell and Sean McVay, you know,
like a lot of those guys from that system, Uh,
they have this ability to legally steal signs along and
wasn't saying listen, it's you know, it's all legal, but

(09:14):
you know, this is what they do and they're really
good at it, et cetera, et cetera. And so yesterday
the Jaguars go to the Bay Area.

Speaker 8 (09:21):
They beat the forty nine Ers.

Speaker 7 (09:24):
Liam cohane is walking off the field and it looks
like him and Robert Sala have an exchange, a heated
exchange afterwards, And so the following is, first Liam Cohen
asked about it, and then Kyle Shanahan the forty nine
Ers head coach asked about it. Let's take a listen.

Speaker 9 (09:42):
At the end of the time, I was not big deal,
you know, and just keep that between us one now,
we're going to keep that between us. No, just going
to keep that between us right now.

Speaker 10 (09:52):
That's just that's it.

Speaker 11 (09:53):
Africa, William and Saw we're exchanging merds. Are you surprising
I assume sign stealing? Are you surprised at maybe it
was the thrilled about that.

Speaker 8 (10:05):
No, try to clear and clear it up, but I don't.
I don't see what happens, So I'm not sure.

Speaker 7 (10:12):
I don't think you should be that sensitive about it.

Speaker 8 (10:13):
But it's what it is. Not too worried about it.

Speaker 3 (10:16):
All right.

Speaker 7 (10:17):
So afterwards there's some lip readers who have seen the
video of the exchange audio too.

Speaker 8 (10:24):
I mean you can hear it.

Speaker 7 (10:26):
Well, I don't know if it's clear enough from the
Robert Salah side, not his side.

Speaker 8 (10:31):
Yeah.

Speaker 7 (10:32):
Liam Cohen said, keep my name out of your effing mouth.

Speaker 8 (10:37):
Yeah what aar But he said, yeah, what a.

Speaker 3 (10:40):
Var Yeah, yeah, stand on that since I was down,
because that's some type stuff I would say to somebody.

Speaker 6 (10:46):
For really, Yeah, if my name was coming out your
mouth and I knew it was coming out your mouth,
and you knew that my name was coming out your mouth,
and I had an opportunity to see.

Speaker 3 (10:57):
You face to face. Yeah, that is one hundred.

Speaker 6 (11:01):
Percent what I would stand on and say to that person,
rob or or or I would ask them, how does.

Speaker 3 (11:10):
My name taste in your mouth?

Speaker 7 (11:16):
Robert Sala. Robert Salah followed up with this. Robert Sala
said in response, quote, I'll f your world up. You
don't want to f with me, I will fing and
your fing life.

Speaker 6 (11:29):
Oh wow, I thought you was about to say wife
or something like that.

Speaker 3 (11:36):
I mean, dudes, do try to hit low.

Speaker 6 (11:40):
Dudes try to hit low and certain certain moments in time.

Speaker 3 (11:44):
Dang, Robert Sala?

Speaker 8 (11:46):
What is he?

Speaker 3 (11:47):
Italian? What? What? What? Where did that come from?

Speaker 10 (11:50):
Man?

Speaker 3 (11:51):
There's a lot of uh. What is Salah? What is.

Speaker 10 (11:55):
Tang?

Speaker 3 (11:57):
He's bringing that tang? He coming up out of out
water with the nose ring on? Does Lee should leave him?

Speaker 7 (12:07):
Cohen to Kyle Shannan's point, be this sensitive about the
the sign stealing stuff like is there?

Speaker 3 (12:13):
Because it's at.

Speaker 8 (12:14):
Least I saw These coaches are hyped up on something.
I mean, if you saw Dan Lanning after.

Speaker 3 (12:18):
The cat saw Dan lan, I mean too, he saw.

Speaker 5 (12:22):
They're all I don't know what they're taking during the game,
before the game after, like there's there's too much going
on there.

Speaker 8 (12:29):
Then they're taking some or something, but they.

Speaker 3 (12:32):
Hitting them thin mint sure.

Speaker 6 (12:40):
What damn make that face at the end, man, like
I know, hey, probly.

Speaker 3 (12:53):
I'm a Landing fan to it. He got it.

Speaker 6 (12:55):
He got the dub in the in our house, Like
I was sitting there, like, Dad is hype. I looked
at it again. I said, Dad is Wait, Dad is
too hype.

Speaker 7 (13:10):
Make sure he doesn't have an extra long pinky Nailt'll
be careful.

Speaker 3 (13:15):
There scoop and score.

Speaker 7 (13:24):
So so what what is the like Robert sawas saying
this sign stealing stuff? Is this much to do about?

Speaker 3 (13:33):
Nothing?

Speaker 8 (13:34):
Is this?

Speaker 10 (13:34):
Yeah?

Speaker 8 (13:35):
I mean look everyone does this, okay.

Speaker 5 (13:38):
So what they do is offenses will get a certain
personnel grouping a certain formation, they'll shift, the'll motion out
of it, and.

Speaker 8 (13:45):
They're looking for signals from the defense.

Speaker 5 (13:47):
And you're gonna look at the game tape, the TV
copy and listen for calls, look for signals, and those
signals are essentially gonna tell you what defense they're playing.

Speaker 8 (13:56):
Like one of the oldest signals And this always make
me laugh. When teams did this was they would take
they would take.

Speaker 5 (14:04):
One arm and they take the other arm and they
make it into a T right like you you exploded
into empty you uh, you shift it into something where
they're like, all right, we need to save coverage here. Right,
you'd see the MIC lineback or the dB zers and
the safety kind of turns it. They make like a
T you know, with with both their arms. You know,
like all right, they're playing TAMA two like it was

(14:25):
that simple. You know, there's there's times where you you'll
see some of that. There's times when you'll see how
they how they play a bunch. Now you know how
they're gonna play a three wide receiver bunch set based
on your film.

Speaker 8 (14:37):
But you know, some defenses will change it.

Speaker 3 (14:40):
You know.

Speaker 5 (14:40):
Sometimes they'll just play lock where the guy crossed themse
who they got.

Speaker 8 (14:43):
Sometimes they'll play lock on the point in and out
the other two receivers.

Speaker 5 (14:46):
You know, there's times when they'll play like what we
used to call a tea cup where they jammed the
guy at the line of scrimmage who's at the point
of the bunch. But then they're gonna play the inside receiver,
and then the other two receivers are gonna play. They're
gonna be in and out by the other two dbs.
So there's a ton of different ways, and you can
box it, you can you can do a bunch of
different things. But the point is is, like you're really,
what you're doing is you're you probably have a decent

(15:08):
amount of their signs.

Speaker 8 (15:10):
Before you play them, but you're one hundred.

Speaker 5 (15:13):
Percent gathering that information as each series goes by and
you see.

Speaker 8 (15:17):
Those signals, So it's one hundred percent legal.

Speaker 5 (15:21):
Everyone does it. It kind of goes back to the
whole Connor Stallion's conversation. I hate to keep bringing this up,
but all the stuff, even at the college level, that
they're able to.

Speaker 8 (15:30):
Get illegally before the game.

Speaker 5 (15:33):
Most teams are aware of it, so they change their signals,
they change their calls. I mean, I can't tell you
how many times, like we'd have to change, you know,
what we were calling a running play to the right
or left, you know, or what we're doing for this
or that, And usually it's fairly simple. We're never gonna
use the same word again, but we might say it
if it's if it's got an ronate, it's or like
a name, a boy's name with an arnate, it's gonna

(15:55):
be a run to the right. If it's a girl's
name with an element, it's a run to the left,
you know. And you'd have a list of different names
that you'd go through, and you'd have that, you'd rotate that.
Then you might say, hey, cities are a run to
the left. States are run to the right. It didn't
have to be that complicated, but you would do all
you could as an offense to hide it from the
defense and an vice versa, because everyone's just trying to

(16:18):
gather information so they can anticipate what exactly the other
side's doing before the snap of the ball.

Speaker 8 (16:24):
So everybody does it. Everyone does this to a degree.

Speaker 5 (16:28):
Man, I mean this isn't new, Like this stuff has
been going on since, you know, forever.

Speaker 7 (16:33):
So why is Liam Cohen getting so pussy about it?
Or is he just trying to it's an ego thing.

Speaker 5 (16:38):
It's because it doesn't mean like basically they're saying to
Liam Cohen like you're not a great play caller, Like
you're able to just steal the signals and you're able
to find the right play, which anyone could do that right.
Someone who plays mad at home could probably do that.
And look, this goes back to like why certain Hall
of Fame quarterbacks ran no huddle. You know, they get

(16:59):
up to the line of scrimmage, blu wady, you know,
all the crap. They'll say, they're doing it so they
can make the defense show their hand and then they'll
make a dummy call or they'll a dummy check and then.

Speaker 8 (17:11):
They'll steal the signal. So this has been going on forever.

Speaker 5 (17:14):
It's more of a again, it's more of a knock
on the offensive prowess or ego to that guy to say, like, oh,
he's it's not that hard when you know what the
defense is running. Like us three could sit in a
room and draw up every cover two beater, every cover
three beater, every man to man beater and sit there
and say, once we know what their coverage is there
and you know, we can go beat them. It's one

(17:35):
of the reasons why, like when I look at offensive coordinators,
all they have to do is figure out what formations
gives you tells like if you have three wide receivers
to the left, then you just have your tight end
to the right.

Speaker 8 (17:46):
More often than not, the defense.

Speaker 5 (17:48):
Has to show their hand. If they play the corner over,
it's gonna be a manda man. If they don't, you know,
it's zone. And if it's a man to man, you
pick your matchup. If it's zone, you find, you find
your concept and then you're gonna be reading out that concept.

Speaker 8 (17:59):
It's not that complicated.

Speaker 5 (18:01):
It's odd to me sometimes where you see you know,
static offenses that don't shift, don't motion, don't you know,
create empty formations and motioning guy back or shift a
guy back because it gives you so much intel, you know,
and and so again. I could go on for days
about this on all spare time, because this is like
the nerdy side of what I love about football.

Speaker 8 (18:21):
But this isn't a dig.

Speaker 5 (18:23):
And Liam Cohen, although he's going to take it as one,
because that's essentially what his calling card is. He's an
offensive guru, right, And they're basically saying like, yeah, you
just steal signals.

Speaker 8 (18:32):
You're not really that good.

Speaker 3 (18:34):
I mean, you know, keep my name out your mouth.

Speaker 7 (18:38):
Why Robert Sala, by the way, solo would win Robert
Sala drop it a death threat on the field afterwards?

Speaker 3 (18:51):
Why all end your effing life.

Speaker 8 (18:56):
Yeah, that's well.

Speaker 7 (18:56):
Look, I mean, if you know, if they want to

Speaker 7 (21:25):
Your thoughts on the the Liam Cohen Robert Sala near
Donnie Brooke that took place and Robert Sala saying I
will end your effing life to Liam Cohen.

Speaker 14 (21:38):
Well, he might have if he had got to him.
I mean, I mean, I don't know if I'm Liam
Cone if I want to go mess with Robert Solo.
To be honest with you, but look why Robert Salas
said the stuff he did last week makes no sense
to me. Well it does, I'll tell you why. But
in terms of Liam Cohene, it makes no sense. If
you had a problem with Sean McVay, if you had

(21:59):
a problem with i'mn O'Connell, and you believe something was
funky was going on in that tree of coaching staff,
then why did you just wait until Liam Cohne week
to say it? It made no sense to me. But
then the deeper you look into it, the more you
look into it, you know who the finalist for that
job was, don't you. It came down to Liam Cohne
and Robert Salah in the end, and in the end

(22:21):
they decided to go with Liam Khne. So maybe there's
some bad blood there.

Speaker 10 (22:26):
And he brought it up that week.

Speaker 14 (22:27):
As far as Liam Cohne, look, I think his players
will look at that and say, Okay, our coach is
fighting for us, and I think that's why he did it.

Speaker 10 (22:34):
But you saw that. What that was.

Speaker 14 (22:36):
The reality is it's one of those when a guy's
a tough guy, fake tough guys, hold.

Speaker 10 (22:41):
Me back, hold me back, hold me back.

Speaker 14 (22:43):
He's got like all these guys holding them back, and
he really knows it they're not going to let him
go to get to him.

Speaker 10 (22:47):
That's what that was.

Speaker 5 (22:48):
Well, yeah, you've walked to buy him and got about
ten yards away before he really started to hirp about him.

Speaker 8 (22:54):
It was like, all right, if you really wanted to
throw down.

Speaker 5 (22:57):
You don't have to walk right by him, just feel like, hey,
man's like, what's up?

Speaker 10 (23:01):
Yeah, but Brady, what was Robert Sala's message?

Speaker 14 (23:04):
What was he trying to say that that nobody I
mean that they're stealing signals or I mean everybody tries
to steal figure out something that when they're trying to
steal signals.

Speaker 5 (23:14):
Right, Yeah, Yeah, we just talked about in the last segment.
It's not that big of a deal. What he was
doing to me was he was basically saying he's not
a good play car, he's not a great offensive mine.
You know, he's kind of attacking as he go with
all that. At least that's my thoughts to all of it,
because that's the only to your point, that's the only
thing that makes sense. Is if he's holding any hostility
from the interview process and then who Jacksonville decided to

(23:36):
go with, it would lead me to think that he's
like kind of taking a shot at him, which again
is what it is. Liam Cohen got the best of
them in the end, and in part because even though
party put up a lot of yards, just some kind
of mistakes there down the stretch. How did you view
him kind of coming back, do you. I mean again,
I'm not saying Max Jones. If he plays in that
they win the game. But you know, I just I

(24:00):
go back and I look at this team and I
kind of feel like they've maybe hit their ceiling.

Speaker 14 (24:05):
You know, Brady, did they rush him back? That's a
legitimate question. You would know better from a guy who
has maybe you had a toe injury or something that
everything was high on Sunday. So is there a problem
when you have a toes of being able to drive
the football?

Speaker 5 (24:18):
I mean maybe, Again, I can't speak to how he's
feeling about it. Yeah, the transition of weight and how
you look. If we really want to get in the
weeds on this, when you have any sort of injury
that impacts your feet, your you're, you know, chain, you know, you're, you're,
you're you're basically throwing motion, like all the way from

(24:39):
your feet up to your your hand, any little injury
along the way that impacts how you how you're throwing.
If it's painful, you're going to naturally adjust your human beings.
We naturally don't like pain. We naturally try to like
adapt something to compensate for that. And so because of
that you know, could he have been potentially not really
driving through snapping down some of his throws so they

(24:59):
weren't saying high of course, like all those things could
play a factor in all that. You know, only he
really knows. My thing is just like you made the
change because you felt like, I guess he was ready.
Mac Jones won two games like he was playing fine.

Speaker 10 (25:13):
I don't know.

Speaker 14 (25:15):
Jaguar attack mac Jones last year, they know how bad
he is.

Speaker 5 (25:18):
He kidding it would have It would have been an
amazing mac Jones revenge game out there with mac ten
out there slinging it around.

Speaker 8 (25:27):
I'm just saying, I would love to see that he's pete.

Speaker 10 (25:29):
Well, he's not any good. He's a backup quarterback in
the NFL.

Speaker 8 (25:34):
Okay, what was your assessment with Jackson Dart Then here's
this is what I want on here.

Speaker 14 (25:38):
Well, I mean Jackson Dark got schemed up for one
drive and then he became, you know, a young quarterback
you know, was struggling to make plays.

Speaker 10 (25:45):
That's what it was.

Speaker 14 (25:46):
I mean, maybe he could becoming the first start. Brady
mac Jones has been in the league and have been
the starter for a while. He's just a guy it's
all he is.

Speaker 5 (25:54):
He No one's making a comparison right now between Mac
Jones and Jackson Darth are two separate conversations.

Speaker 8 (25:59):
You brought it up, Yes, what do you think of
Jackson dark?

Speaker 10 (26:03):
I thought he was okay.

Speaker 14 (26:04):
I didn't think he was very good. I thought he
was okay. I mean, and look, clearly he can move
around and brings life to it with his legs and
can do some things that the other stiff couldn't do.
But the bottom line is he's got to be better
and stay in the pocket and go through his progressions.
Just going to take time, but he gives them hope
at least that you're a Giants fan rather than moon

(26:26):
ball Larry throwing them up on the sidelines and throw
them into the gold a.

Speaker 8 (26:30):
Lot of those touchdowns. I know you're like ragging on him,
but he's like top sixteen I think in yards. Doesn't
play every.

Speaker 10 (26:36):
Game, Brady.

Speaker 14 (26:37):
Last week he completed more passes to the goalpost than
he did the elite neighbors.

Speaker 5 (26:41):
Come on, and now they don't have the league neighbors
based on what we're saying from the reports.

Speaker 10 (26:45):
Yeah, that's terrible, that's terrible. And then the turf there.

Speaker 14 (26:48):
You know, I know there's a whole issue, but you know,
at some point you got to figure out a way to.

Speaker 10 (26:53):
Get grass in those places because the turf is awful
on those guys.

Speaker 6 (26:58):
Speaking of maybe what could be considered awful a forty
forty ot tie.

Speaker 3 (27:05):
Pete, By the way, I didn't hear the way there
we go.

Speaker 14 (27:09):
I didn't hear you in the beginning. I thought you
were hiding after that, pet State.

Speaker 6 (27:13):
No, damn, hey, Pete, your hate is so real, man,
I'll tell you what, And that's okay. At least at least.

Speaker 3 (27:26):
We took it to ot.

Speaker 6 (27:27):
We took a double ot, and we had a chance,
we had the chance to win it.

Speaker 3 (27:32):
Like, we didn't get blown out or anything like that.

Speaker 14 (27:36):
Var What are you thinking.

Speaker 10 (27:38):
You're getting?

Speaker 14 (27:40):
You're taking almost victory won?

Speaker 3 (27:43):
What I did say we almost won. I didn't say
that we almost won.

Speaker 6 (27:47):
I just said that, you know, we were in a
good situation and and we just didn't you know, we
didn't finish.

Speaker 3 (27:53):
It out, that's all.

Speaker 6 (27:55):
And I know you're you're feeling real good about yourself
because you guys got a quality win against TCU.

Speaker 3 (28:01):
Great.

Speaker 6 (28:01):
You know, I'm not a hater like you like, look
happy for you. Your team won, got a big victory
against TCU. Great for you. But back to my original question,
how did you feel about a game finishing forty forty
tie on the what would be considered to be the
late night only game and the you know, the showcase

(28:23):
game green Bay versus the Cowboys. Michael Parsons returns home
and plays against you know, Jerry Jones and.

Speaker 3 (28:31):
The evil Dallas Cowboy. What was your take on on
the game?

Speaker 14 (28:36):
Well, first off, the greatest pass rusher in the league,
according to you, didn't make a play really last.

Speaker 3 (28:42):
Well, I had a sack.

Speaker 10 (28:44):
No, he did.

Speaker 14 (28:44):
He had that chase him down on that running play,
and I mean that was basically it for him. The
other thing is, I thought the Green Bay Packers and
Matt before chess. But you're the last end of the
game scenario. And I'm not talking and I'm not talking
about just the last couple of plays. I'm talking about
the entire time. You're taking your time going down the

(29:07):
field when you know you're in a situation where you
only have one time out and the clock is going
to keep moving. What were they doing?

Speaker 10 (29:14):
It was awful.

Speaker 14 (29:15):
They acted like they had all day to get down there,
and then when they get down there, they got away
with one because I don't know what the hell they
were doing down there when they threw that pass into
the end zone. So bad clock management and I hate
to see ties. But don't you think that if you're
the cowboy, you come away from that thinking, Okay, I'll
take this time and walk off with it, right, Yes?

Speaker 3 (29:35):
Absolutely?

Speaker 6 (29:36):
Which about a way throwing shay at Micah and you
made the comparison between him and Miles Garrett. You do
know Miles Garrett touched the ball carrier twice on Sunday
and that was about it.

Speaker 3 (29:50):
You know, that was about it for his production. You
do know that, right? Yeah.

Speaker 14 (29:56):
I haven't watched the tap and I bet there's about
fifteen hurries involved in that.

Speaker 3 (29:59):
Well, I bet you there's about twenty hurries for Micah.

Speaker 14 (30:03):
Yeah he's not saying, but Miles.

Speaker 5 (30:06):
He did have a sack. By the way, Pete, I
don't know why you're trying to discredit that hits.

Speaker 10 (30:11):
Yeah, So there you go, Pete, Miles.

Speaker 6 (30:14):
I think I think that Pete, you get a little
bit kind of delusional about how you see factual information
as it applies to you. Factual information, and then you
come up with these these wild assertions, and that's okay.

Speaker 3 (30:27):
It's okay, Pete, because I respect.

Speaker 6 (30:30):
You and I respect your mind ultimately, while we all
bring you on the shows because we got a crazy
amount of admiration for you, Pete.

Speaker 3 (30:39):
So you know, but just in this one moment, right here,
right now.

Speaker 6 (30:42):
You're just you know, you're you're over your skis, man,
You're on the wrong side of your bet.

Speaker 3 (30:46):
That's all, Pete.

Speaker 7 (30:47):
If you're the Miles Garrett of NFL analysts, who's the
Micah Parsons in the industry.

Speaker 14 (30:56):
Look at that pretty Quinn.

Speaker 3 (31:02):
Perfect.

Speaker 6 (31:02):
No, No, that's a perfect answer, Pete, bank you because
you're better than You're better than Pete Prisco.

Speaker 3 (31:10):
So there you go. It was a great admission. There
you go. I've got to out Pete. Pete.

Speaker 5 (31:16):
I've got a team in mind who has been the
most disappointing team to you so far this season, because
I've got one that I think kind of.

Speaker 14 (31:22):
Stands out by the way, Brady, I'm looking at the
official statue just like I thought, there's no stack from
Mike A. Parsons on the statue. I don't think I
don't think yeah, there is, there is.

Speaker 6 (31:34):
I'm sorry, I don't think oh Pete is getting bad.

Speaker 14 (31:41):
LeVar, LeVar, I can say what I was wrong.

Speaker 10 (31:43):
I was wrong?

Speaker 5 (31:44):
Okay, okay, Well, can we transition to the team that
has disappointed you the most so far through four games
this season.

Speaker 10 (31:52):
That's a good question, Brady.

Speaker 3 (31:54):
Why is that?

Speaker 8 (31:57):
That's what we said?

Speaker 14 (31:59):
And and not just because well, I mean I wasn't.
I thought they'd be good. I didn't think they were
gonna win the Super Bowl like everybody else did. But yeah,
one of three they've been defense has been awful. I mean,
my gosh. You can do whatever you want, whenever you want,
however you want to that defense, and that's never been
the Ravens.

Speaker 6 (32:17):
I mean, huh wow, look at you make that take
that take.

Speaker 14 (32:24):
But uh but when you look at the Ravens defense,
everybody runs on them. People throw on them, they push
them around. The guys are wide open. I mean, when
was the last time Patrick Mahomes looked like that?

Speaker 8 (32:34):
I mean worthy about helps?

Speaker 14 (32:37):
Yeah, yeah, true, But even with Worthy last year, he
wasn't put up four duckdown games.

Speaker 10 (32:41):
Brady.

Speaker 14 (32:41):
That was terrible on Sunday and they have major issues.
But the good news for him is no Joe Burrow
with the Bengals. The Browns clearly have a quarterback problem.
And are you true believers in the.

Speaker 10 (32:53):
Three and one Steelers yet?

Speaker 14 (32:54):
I mean, he's done a nice job with that team.
Are you believers in them as being a team that,
you know, egg the division and go to the super Bowl?

Speaker 3 (33:01):
Yeah?

Speaker 8 (33:02):
Look, it's early super Bowl, but it's early.

Speaker 5 (33:04):
We did say that, Like, it's probably been the most
disappointing division in the NFL. Where you thought there could
be three teams that are playoff teams, now there might
be one. I mean, now again, I think Baltimore will
be able to climb their way back. There are two
talented there's too many stars in that team. But you know,
the other question is like can Pittsburgh hang on? Like,
I think what they've done so far leads me to
think they're only going to get better, Like, I don't

(33:25):
think they're gonna fall off, you know, kind of like
they did offensive in the second half of last year.

Speaker 10 (33:30):
I would agree with you, Brady. I would agree with
you because you know, one thing that.

Speaker 14 (33:32):
You're starting to see is the young offensive line that
they put a lot of assets into. Those guys are
starting to play better like Fraser McCormick.

Speaker 10 (33:40):
You know, Fatanu, all those guys.

Speaker 14 (33:42):
Are playing better, and once that offensive line gets going,
they start running the ball and take the pressure off
of Aaron Rodgers even more. I think that's really going
to help them defensively. I still have concerns because how
many geriatrics do they have on that defense? I mean
that that's an old that's an old defense. That's an
old I could say that because I turned sixty five
on Sunday, so I can say, Jerry.

Speaker 3 (34:03):
Pay oh Man, yeah, man, never.

Speaker 14 (34:08):
Knows though you would never You would never know.

Speaker 3 (34:10):
It would just almost Pete. You almost out of here, Pete,
almost that car LeVar, LaVar.

Speaker 14 (34:21):
You know what I tell all the football players. Look,
I might be sixty five. How old are you, LeVar?

Speaker 3 (34:26):
Forty seven?

Speaker 14 (34:27):
Okay, you multiply that by two because you played football,
so you're really ninety four. So see, yuh.

Speaker 3 (34:34):
Enough, fair enough?

Speaker 6 (34:36):
Hey, I always say that, Pete. But you know what,
You're going to be right there with me, Pete. We
will be walking in the gates together.

Speaker 14 (34:43):
Hey, LeVar, I'm gonna live to be one hundred and
four years old. Sitting on a Caps crapping in my pants,
having somebody changed my typeer, bitching about bad quarterback.

Speaker 3 (34:53):
Popping blue shoes to you.

Speaker 14 (34:55):
And one quick thing before we go. Brady Quinn says
he never gets sick. He told me that when we
work together. Never got a cold, Brady, You're lying, got.

Speaker 3 (35:04):
A cold, Brady.

Speaker 8 (35:05):
I don't get sick.

Speaker 3 (35:07):
You got a cold, Brady Quinn.

Speaker 8 (35:09):
The allergies.

Speaker 14 (35:11):
You're a liar, Brady, You're sick.

Speaker 10 (35:12):
You got a cold.

Speaker 7 (35:14):
Pete Prisco people said, next week, Oh my god, Prisco
comes in and he's man, he's like firing off like
it's hot when Prisco comes in, Yeah, like it's man,
It's like it's gets real hot in there.

Speaker 6 (35:33):
Like it's spicy, man, geez, real spicy, right, like super spicy,
Like you know the spice that you get when you
have a little bit of well, some hot sauce in
your life, right, you know what it is. And that
hot sauce that we talking about, that Louisiana. Yeah, that
Louisiana hot sauce. And listen, when you're in that that

(35:55):
mood and you're in that space and well, you want
to taste some peppery pepper or some vinegar, and salt.
Add it to your wings or your nachos, or your
burgers or even your clam chowder. All you gotta do
is pull out that original Louisiana Hot sauce and you

(36:15):
in the game tailgate food to just your everyday food.
You'll get that bold, hand crafted flavor. And that's right,
that's Louisiana Hot.

Speaker 3 (36:26):
Bye. You you know like the value.

Speaker 15 (37:39):
Oh my gosh, I'm shocked.

Speaker 16 (37:40):
We haven't talked about this yet because it is a
huge headlining story. Bad Bunny is officially doing the Super
Bowl sixty halftime performance, and he has gotten many a
mixed reviews, mostly I don't know.

Speaker 15 (37:51):
They don't seem to please the NFL fans.

Speaker 16 (37:53):
But Jay Z actually made a statement this morning in
response to the criticism, and he said, what Benito has
done and continues to do for Puerto Rico is truly
inspiring and we are honored to have him on the
world's biggest stage.

Speaker 3 (38:07):
You Puerto Rican.

Speaker 15 (38:10):
I'm a lot of things. I don't think I'm perto
Rican though.

Speaker 8 (38:12):
Do you know he's the most downloaded or person like

like death threats and stuff.

Speaker 15 (38:22):
Oh yeah, people are not happy.

Speaker 5 (38:24):
Yeah, I understand how people in the US, they don't
are as familiar, don't like stuff as much.

Speaker 8 (38:28):
But global, he's very well received.

Speaker 16 (38:31):
So and he does have a lot of hits, so
even if you don't know the song, you might be
able to move your hips to it, which.

Speaker 3 (38:36):
Is all dated.

Speaker 6 (38:37):
A Kardashian didn't he who didn't?

Speaker 15 (38:41):
I think he's with Kendall. He's with Kendall Jenner.

Speaker 3 (38:46):
Is he still Winner?

Speaker 15 (38:48):
They might still be friends. I don't think they're dating dating, yeah, anymore.
We'll find out.

Speaker 3 (38:52):

Cardiac Cowboys

Cardiac Cowboys

The heart was always off-limits to surgeons. Cutting into it spelled instant death for the patient. That is, until a ragtag group of doctors scattered across the Midwest and Texas decided to throw out the rule book. Working in makeshift laboratories and home garages, using medical devices made from scavenged machine parts and beer tubes, these men and women invented the field of open heart surgery. Odds are, someone you know is alive because of them. So why has history left them behind? Presented by Chris Pine, CARDIAC COWBOYS tells the gripping true story behind the birth of heart surgery, and the young, Greatest Generation doctors who made it happen. For years, they competed and feuded, racing to be the first, the best, and the most prolific. Some appeared on the cover of Time Magazine, operated on kings and advised presidents. Others ended up disgraced, penniless, and convicted of felonies. Together, they ignited a revolution in medicine, and changed the world.
