Two Pros and a Cup of Joe. Fox Sports Radio,
LeVar Arrington, Brady Quinn, Jonas Knox with you here. Coming
up on this Football Friday. Of course we're going to
talk football. We had a classic on Thursday night where
the Niners go on the road kind of if you
listen to the crowd, not really add so far to
beat the Rams in overtime and the mac Daddy Mac
Jones body cramps and all gets it done. What does
(00:58):
this mean for Mac Jones and what does it mean
for the Rams moving forward? We will discuss. We're also
going to get into the very latest speculation about some
change it could be taking place in the world of
Major League baseball, and there's one fan base that's pissed
that it doesn't already exist. We've got another edition of
In case you missed it as well too. We're going
to talk about blue bloods in the world of college sports.
(01:20):
We've got another edition of Quinn's Wins and we're gonna
spread them for Week five in the NFL. It's all
yours coming up next here, two pros and a cup
of Joe on a football Friday, Fox Sports Radio.
Speaker 3 (01:30):
Oh stop, the biggest, the largest.
Speaker 1 (01:32):
Coffee went down the wrong wrong pipe.
Speaker 3 (01:35):
Oh oh did it?
Speaker 4 (01:37):
Is it piping hot?
Speaker 1 (01:39):
No, not anymore.
Speaker 5 (01:41):
By the way, Lord, do you know that's like the
only way Jonas likes his coffee when he when he
first gets it, it has to be like scalding you
suing McDonald's hot.
Speaker 4 (01:51):
That's right, hot.
Speaker 3 (01:52):
Cold, he's cold.
Speaker 1 (01:54):
What you mean by that?
Speaker 3 (01:56):
You're vampire?
Speaker 1 (02:02):
I'll just say it, hey, I said you guys the
Halloween decoration. I saw that that vampire looks exactly like me.
That was that was disturbing. My son's looking at that.
The decoration. It's like this inflatable Halloween decoration that the
(02:25):
vampire rises out of the coffin and then goes back down.
And my son's looking at that and looking at me,
and he was starting to put two and two together.
Speaker 6 (02:34):
I think.
Speaker 1 (02:35):
So you guys prepare.
Speaker 4 (02:36):
It looks like the dracula from a sesame street.
Speaker 1 (02:38):
And they have a dracula there the count.
Speaker 4 (02:42):
Yeah, it looks like the count.
Speaker 1 (02:44):
They had a count who's a pimp.
Speaker 6 (02:51):
But yeah, so.
Speaker 1 (02:53):
Coffee went down the wrong pipe.
Speaker 6 (02:54):
But we're ready.
Speaker 1 (02:55):

and that game goes to the San Francisco forty nine ers.
Good for them with Mac Jones, who's got his ass
hanging out. He's got a don joy On. It's giving
him cramps. He's trying not to puke on the sidelines, uh.
Speaker 3 (03:37):
Rubbing his arm out?
Speaker 1 (03:39):
Yeah, what was that? Was his entire body cramping up.
He was cramping out, That's what he was. Tire body
was cramping.
Speaker 5 (03:47):
Well, hold on, hold on, I mean, LaVar, you've had
to be have you never been there before, Jonas, When
you're like dehydrated, like one thing starts cramping, next thing
you know, you're.
Speaker 4 (03:54):
Like a ah, yeah, like the way you walk like.
Speaker 7 (03:58):
I had to leave a game or two told you
all the story about how I thought I almost was going.
Speaker 3 (04:02):
To die because I was so dehydrated. I went to it.
Speaker 4 (04:05):
What did that sound like?
Speaker 3 (04:15):
Help? Help help me? Now?
Speaker 1 (04:21):
Was that in practice? Was that the Marty Shotenhammer practice?
Speaker 3 (04:23):
Yea, that was the Marty shot and hammer. I can't
see I can't see any color.
Speaker 2 (04:30):
Everything is black and white.
Speaker 3 (04:33):
Literally.
Speaker 7 (04:36):
Oh well, you know they was they were concerned, are
go get your boy. I heard somebody say riverside.
Speaker 4 (04:46):
That's about right, damn.
Speaker 3 (04:49):
You know it's what I heard one say.
Speaker 7 (04:51):
I got him, coach, I got him.
Speaker 3 (04:53):
Yeah.
Speaker 5 (04:55):
It's one thing when you hear say riverside and you're
not involved. When you're involved, and they're just turned around
the other way from you.
Speaker 7 (05:03):
You really feel they played that slow, lonely music, you
know what I mean, Like, hey, that's a lonely moment
for yourself.
Speaker 3 (05:12):
Boy, they turn around, Wait.
Speaker 8 (05:16):
Don't leave me.
Speaker 2 (05:18):
I'm still here and I've hurt.
Speaker 9 (05:23):
Sid Blue twenty two, Blue twenty two, Like they they
ain't even took your body up off of the off
of the field.
Speaker 7 (05:33):
Yeah, they already ran three plays. I mean, it is
what it is, man, you know what you're signing up for.
Speaker 1 (05:39):
Though, you know what, I'm wondered though, when I don't
know if they still do this now there's probably something
something like Element, which is fantastic, But when they used
to just have like a jar of pickle juice on
the sideline. I mean, if you're cramping up in the
moment pickle juice?
Speaker 4 (05:54):
Have you have you actually drank pickle juice? It's not bad.
Speaker 1 (05:58):
Yeah, it's really leathy, it's not bad.
Speaker 3 (06:02):
I can't even eat a pickle.
Speaker 4 (06:03):
I couldn't. I could never do that.
Speaker 7 (06:05):
I'd rather I grew up eating pickles. They gross me
out now. I don't like them now, really, I grew
up eating them. Yeah, I don't know why, you know.
Speaker 3 (06:12):
Like old school, like how you used to get the
pickle in the bag.
Speaker 7 (06:15):
Like I go to like a bakery they have like
three different types of pickles. I don't know, man, I
used to like them. I don't know why, but like
I like them spicy too. Oh yeah, spicy pickles are good.
Speaker 8 (06:28):
Right.
Speaker 10 (06:29):
Have you guys had pickle martinis?
Speaker 8 (06:35):
Yeah?
Speaker 1 (06:35):
So good ten out of ten. Yeah, that sounds like.
Speaker 3 (06:41):
You're a martini girl into it.
Speaker 10 (06:42):
I am a martini girl. I like filthy martinis. The
more olive juice or pickle juice, the better done.
Speaker 4 (06:48):
Yeah, thank you next week.
Speaker 3 (06:50):
Can you guys throw that out there to you for
your answer everything?
Speaker 5 (07:00):
Like we're like we're a one nine hundred number, all right,
Like you can't every single thing you can't say can't
be like enticing too.
Speaker 10 (07:07):
It's called a dirty martini naturally, but if you like
extra juice in it, it's filthy.
Speaker 2 (07:11):
That is what it is.
Speaker 3 (07:12):
You know.
Speaker 1 (07:13):
Lorena's got a little pep in her step because she's
she's going back to Oregon after the show and it's
raining out here in southern California, so she's.
Speaker 3 (07:20):
Is it raining?
Speaker 1 (07:21):
Yeah, starting to uh, starting to rain a little bit.
It's a lot of men. Yeah, so Lorena is exciting because.
Speaker 3 (07:27):
You're not going to Eugene, though, are you.
Speaker 2 (07:29):
I'm flying in there this morning?
Speaker 3 (07:31):
What what? What time is your flight?
Speaker 10 (07:34):
Around seven am this morning?
Speaker 5 (07:37):
You're really helping anyone who is stalking Lorena. You're helping
the foul right now.
Speaker 3 (07:41):
Well we might be on the same flight.
Speaker 1 (07:43):
Oh yeah, Oh no, nope, never mind, Varina.
Speaker 10 (07:49):
We can have a bloody Mary when we get there.
Speaker 2 (07:51):
Yeah.
Speaker 3 (07:52):
Yeah, I don't drink those either.
Speaker 7 (07:54):
I'm not into If I want soup, I'll get tomato soup.
Speaker 1 (07:58):
That's hard with at that is rude.
Speaker 7 (08:01):
I just I'll get tomato soup with with a grilled cheese.
I don't drink I don't drink Margaret. Uh, what are
they called again? Bloody Mary's. I don't drink those. I
don't drink them. It's not it. I can't get into
those those types. Like my taste buds are very defined,
Like I like long islands, you know, I like a
beer here and there, like you know, trying to lose
(08:24):
this big ass belly. Man, I'm tired of looking at
this belly. But I haven't been drinking though, I've been
drinking water I've been detoxing.
Speaker 1 (08:31):
You know, we haven't been drinking Stick City Logger because
we can't get a scent to us.
Speaker 3 (08:35):
Or you're going to get it, don't worry about it.
Speaker 4 (08:37):
Yeah, we're gonna get it.
Speaker 3 (08:40):
Yes, you are.
Speaker 7 (08:43):
You know somebody came after me after the uh, after
the whole Yeah, so like it like started, a lot
of people started inquiring about it. And apparently there's a
brewery out there called Stick City. So I've been dealing.
Speaker 4 (09:01):
They said that cease and the sister Yeah they did.
Speaker 3 (09:05):
M hmm.
Speaker 4 (09:06):
Where is it located?
Speaker 7 (09:08):
I got a good Uh. They're in Pittsburgh, Well outside
of Pittsburgh. Okay, go figure.
Speaker 3 (09:13):
All right, Never City, No, No, you're gonna get it.
Speaker 4 (09:18):
You're about lavars.
Speaker 3 (09:19):
You guys have no chance.
Speaker 4 (09:20):
Jonahs isn't gonna get either. No, what about red If
you're gonna get it, that's right, that's Stick City.
Speaker 3 (09:27):
Ale, it's coming.
Speaker 5 (09:30):
That's for us, for you out there listening.
Speaker 4 (09:33):
Maybe it's going a chance.
Speaker 1 (09:37):
I'll tell you what to come, I'll do it. If
it's not here by the end of the month, I'm
gonna just hit up Matt mcgloyan and get his beer
because he's got one out there isn't he.
Speaker 7 (09:46):
I don't know what's it called eleven It's called like
eleven beer.
Speaker 3 (09:50):
Yeah, something like that out there.
Speaker 1 (09:53):
I want my stick City logger Man.
Speaker 5 (09:57):
Can we talking about some serious football for a second, Yes,
let's be Is there a concern for the Rams that
three and now I know is a tight game, couldn't.
Speaker 4 (10:04):
Win another way at one point? Probably? Is there a
bit of a.
Speaker 1 (10:07):
Concern though, Yeah, they've lost two games they should have won.
Speaker 7 (10:10):
I'm not concerned with that. If you've lost two games
you should have won. I'm not concerned with that. Like
it's kind of fluky, like, like you said, you're more
likely to get struck by lightning. You're more likely to
win the lottery than them. Ton Oh wait, they did
block another something? Oh fhiel gold on them? Uh well, okay,
(10:31):
let's just say it's probably even more or less likely
that they lose the way that they've lost moving forward,
I would say, like, you're not going to lose on
a field goal getting blocked and a dude running it
back to win the game.
Speaker 3 (10:46):
You're not going to lose the game that way.
Speaker 7 (10:47):
You're not going to get to the one yard line
and a running back that's having a career night fumbles
the ball at the end of the game on the
gold line and they turned the ball over, and then
it goes to to you know, extra indings for for
extra quarter, for overtime, and they're.
Speaker 3 (11:06):
Not going to lose those ways. I just don't.
Speaker 7 (11:09):
I don't see that continuing on. And the way Matt
Stafford spins that ball, bro godly he throws the ball sope.
I just I think with him and uh DeVante Adams
and and and Huka Nakua, I just really think that
this team is They're still the team.
Speaker 3 (11:27):
I'm not concerned about it.
Speaker 7 (11:29):
I think it's almost fluky the way that they've lost
the two games that they've.
Speaker 1 (11:33):
Lost, Yeah, but there but one of them was to Philly.
Who now that if those teams meeting the.
Speaker 3 (11:39):
Places and handled Philly in that.
Speaker 1 (11:41):
Game, yeah, they did, but they also might have to
go to Philly now again based on that game and
then the other ones to a division rival in the
forty nine ers.
Speaker 7 (11:50):
Hold on, when you say am I concerned? Are you
saying am I concerned? If they can make it to
the Super Bowl?
Speaker 1 (11:55):
No, I would be concerned that their path has gotten
harder and it didn't have to be.
Speaker 3 (12:00):
And also you are saying the super Bowl, then.
Speaker 1 (12:02):
Yeah, yeah, I think they've got to I'm not well
will I don't have them going to the super Bowl.
Speaker 3 (12:07):
So that's not a concern.
Speaker 7 (12:08):
But if you were concerned about them making the super Bowl, yeah,
I mean I still think it's too early to make
the assessment and evaluation that, oh, they're making it harder
on themselves.
Speaker 3 (12:20):
Well, if they went.
Speaker 1 (12:20):
Out they just lost on a short week at home
to a guy who had stage five body cramps, a
don Joy and was puking on the sideline and had
nobody to throw ass out. Yeah, and Kendrick Bourne had
the game of his life, Like that should be concerning
(12:42):
on a short week at home, is an eight and
a half point favorite and you lose outright, Like, that's
not great.
Speaker 7 (12:50):
I could see the concern, but it's I think it's
still early and that's a fine football team that has
lost in fluky ways. That will be my response. I
don't don't. I don't think that they need to get
out of sorts at this moment. They're disheartening losses because
they probably should have won those games. And when you
say probably should have won, they literally had the game
(13:14):
wrapped up.
Speaker 3 (13:15):
They were literally wrapped up, so you know.
Speaker 5 (13:19):
So I bring that up for this reason because now
the Rams kind of hit a.
Speaker 4 (13:24):
Tough stretch in their schedule.
Speaker 5 (13:26):
So they have the the Ravens, even though they get
extra rest, They're in Baltimore next week. Following that, they
go to Jacksonville. Then they come home to beat the Saints.
All right, that's a win.
Speaker 4 (13:38):
Then they have to go up to San Francisco.
Speaker 5 (13:41):
Then they've got Seattle coming to them, which again that's
no pushover. It's a better team than we thought. And
then they got the Bucks coming to them as well.
So that is their next six games. One of those,
I assure you will be a win. The other five
I think because of the travel, that time zones, the road,
all those things. It's like, I don't know to kind
(14:03):
of Jonas's point, and I'm with you for I think
they're a really good football team, and I think if
you're gonna lose like this, this portion of their schedule
compared to the back half, I think is a little
bit more difficult, and we don't know what the Ravens
are gonna be like in a week from now.
Speaker 3 (14:17):
It seems like a month went for them, which makes
it tougher on the rounds.
Speaker 5 (14:21):
But yeah, yeah, I just I think you fall into
the potential of a skin where you start all of
a sudden being like, all right, like, how good really
are we? We know we're talented, but like, how good
are we as a team playing together finding ways to
win games? And you drop onto Baltimore, you get to
five hundred, all of a sudden, you drop.
Speaker 4 (14:38):
On to Jacksonville.
Speaker 5 (14:39):
Now you're like, all right, we'll pick up the pieces,
get back right with the Saints. Than San Frantic and
then Seattle than Tampa. I just it's a it's a
rough stretch to come off a loss like that where
you're at home divisional opponent short a week.
Speaker 4 (14:51):
Everything was to your advantage. You're playing a backup quarterback.
Speaker 5 (14:55):
To Jonas's point, like they're best receivers out, their best
two receivers are out and Kendrick's bard is lead the way.
So that to me was a tough loss to take that,
especially consitting what's ahead.
Speaker 7 (15:08):
That is the biggest the biggest element to me of
it all is that you struggle even though they're a
divisional opponent. I expect divisional teams to play each other
tougher because of the familiarity of it all.
Speaker 3 (15:21):
But to lose to a team that.
Speaker 7 (15:23):
Is as battered and bruised and banged up as the
Niners are and continue to be bruised up there, like
they lost one of their d tackles, hurt his hand,
Like the guys were just dropping in the game, and
they were you know, Mac Jones was dropping in the game,
and they still found a way to win the game.
(15:43):
I thought that was to me, that was probably the
most impressive victory that that a Kyle Shanahan will get
because of the circumstances in which he had to go
into a hostile environment seemingly and and be able to
win win a game under those those those you know circumstances,
(16:07):
that's that's a little bit damning to the Rams that
you would lose to a team because we always talk
about when your starter goes down, what do we always
talk about how the drop off, like, oh, there's probably
a drop off from one to two, you know, this,
that and the other. And if that's really the case,
then you really should have been shorthanded. I mean, you
(16:28):
had two all pros that were out, you know, you
had Key was out. You know, it's just I mean,
to me, that's probably the most damning part of it,
if i'm the Rams, is that you lost to a
wounded team. You didn't lose to a team that was
full strength, like you're gonna have to. I mean, I
don't know when when Lamar Jackson comes back, he might
(16:49):
not be in the game. So if they don't have
to deal with Lamar Jackson, I mean, maybe they can
go into Baltimore and not not let themselves really really
slide in terms of wins and losses. But I mean,
that is damning to lose to a team is banged up.
There can't be a team out there that's more banged
up than the forty nine ers right now.
Speaker 1 (17:10):
Baltimore's pretty bad. They're pretty bad, but you know, and
also to lose to a team whose quarterback is going
through Riga mortis, you know, in real time, it's unfortunate.
Speaker 2 (17:22):
Do you want to hear?
Speaker 1 (17:23):
This was Sean McVay taking accountability for the final play,
the call on fourth down in which they ran it
and got stopped and the forty nine ers home away
from home, SOFI Stadium went nuts.
Speaker 2 (17:34):
It's a bad call.
Speaker 11 (17:35):
It's a bad call by me thought about maybe trying
to draw them off side. I took one, they took
the other. And it was a poor decision by me
right there. But you know, give the Niners credit. They
made enough plays to be able to win the football game.
We had plenty of chances throughout this game. You know,
we stayed in it. We fought, we battled. But I'm
pretty sick right now. I'm sick of the spot that
I put our group in to end the game. But hey,
(17:58):
these are the tough beats that you got to be
able to learn from and move forward.
Speaker 3 (18:01):
And that's what we're gonna do.
Speaker 11 (18:02):
In hindsight, I wish I would have, but uh no,
we were. We came in here to try to win
the football game. It didn't go down Forrest Gary. That
was that wasn't even a thought. But uh the play
selection was very poor. I'm sick right now because uh
I put our players in a spot, and uh I
got to live with that.
Speaker 1 (18:18):
I mean, at least he didn't play for a tie.
You know, he could have kicked the field goal there and.
Speaker 5 (18:22):
Uh and I was thinking that, like, has no one
criticized him for not playing for the tie.
Speaker 7 (18:29):
Because a lot of coaches would have went under some
intense scrutiny for not taking it into the extra ending
like you didn't get it, kicked the field goal, let's
do it again, Like I appreciated it would be a.
Speaker 4 (18:40):
Bowl that that that would that would have been it.
Speaker 3 (18:43):
That would have been it would have been a tie.
Speaker 4 (18:45):
Well, yeah, you're in overtime.
Speaker 1 (18:46):
San Francisco would have gotten the ball back the back.
Speaker 5 (18:49):
Yeah, that's what I'm saying, which I think is which
I think is why no one's like asking that question.
But it does in retrospect now looking at it, like
would you have rather kicked the field goal, maybe pinned
them back and played out for the tie as opposed
to suffering a loss?
Speaker 4 (19:06):
I mean how much.
Speaker 5 (19:08):
It's like three minutes, right, yeah, so yeah, I was
it was too much time to probably contemplate that, but
it is worth like, I don't know, I mean, I
don't know if anyone asked them that after the fact,
but I'd be curious to hear his response.
Speaker 7 (19:22):
At the time is going to run out. I'm definitely
gonna go for it. But my whole thing is you
had already had a gaff with running the ball on
the goal line that led to you being in the
situation you were in to begin with. Stafford was slinging
that peel like nobody's business to get down there to
begin with.
Speaker 3 (19:41):
Why not?
Speaker 7 (19:41):
And and the receivers they had found a rhythm. I
mean their rhythm was was nice. They that last drive
they found a rhythm.
Speaker 1 (19:48):
Three to go at the time of the stop.
Speaker 7 (19:51):
I just don't understand why they ran it that way,
like I don't know, I don't.
Speaker 3 (19:57):
Know they were.
Speaker 5 (19:57):
I'm gonna go in a living and say this, by
the way, U Vansa, Adams and Pukka, best combination.
Speaker 1 (20:03):
Of the great clean, by the way, the best combination
of the NFL.
Speaker 5 (20:06):
As far as the tandem of receivers, and you people
can at me about that, you know, throwing Jamar Chase Tickins.
They got Jake Browning throw its home. So it's a
bit different. So it does include the fact that Matt
Staffords their quarterback.
Speaker 3 (20:17):
But Stafford, man, this.
Speaker 4 (20:19):
To me is the best tandem in the NFL right now.
Speaker 5 (20:22):
He'd be slinging that rock bro He's a thrower of
the football man.
Speaker 3 (20:28):
I saw him make a couple of them throws.
Speaker 4 (20:30):
I was like, you know what, though I saw Mac
Jones make a couple.
Speaker 1 (20:35):
I thought, Mac Dad, that's right.
Speaker 7 (20:41):
Lord, Zersees was out there, gig. He was dling them
up though, Bro, that's that's. That's all I'm gonna say.
When they when they needed to come through, Zersees defense
came through.
Speaker 3 (20:51):
Man.
Speaker 7 (20:52):
I ain't see him trying to find nobody else out
there to fight this week. But I'll tell you what
his defense was out there. They were They were a
little gritty. It looked like it was going to get
away from him for a moment there, but they pulled
it back together.
Speaker 3 (21:04):
Man. I don't know.
Speaker 7 (21:06):
He could be a wild card for for the Niners.
I mean, he's made them better on defense under crazy
crazy like talk about patch up work, man, they've been
patching holes and they're still they're still super super competitive.
I mean, your boys, c Mac he does it all, man,
he really does.
Speaker 3 (21:25):
He says it.
Speaker 2 (21:26):
Man.
Speaker 1 (21:26):
When he's healthy, he's still probably the best dual threat.
Speaker 3 (21:33):
Running back in the NFL. Would so clean, man.
Speaker 4 (21:36):
I mean, he's sick ones up there too.
Speaker 3 (21:38):
But Kwan is the best. But I get it, not this.
Speaker 5 (21:41):
I don't know everybody clost I mean off the field too,
it's just off the top Brady.
Speaker 3 (21:50):
Hey, I'm not going dispute that.
Speaker 1 (21:53):
By the way, kyn Williams had a great game last night.
I know he had the fumble, but let's not, you know,
dismiss the fact that he was fantastic for the Rams
last night for the most part.
Speaker 3 (22:03):
You know, really well said that.
Speaker 1 (22:05):
So you got him, you got Pooka Nakua, You've got
Davante Adams. They're loaded, man, and the defense's much is
really underrated as well too. I mean, they almost killed
mac Jones last night, and they sacked him once. I
think so that I'll tell you something about what they're
capable of.
Speaker 7 (22:24):
They were hitting him kind of late. It was borderline
kind of late, the way they was getting him on
the ground.
Speaker 3 (22:28):
But then I.
Speaker 7 (22:31):
Don't understand if you make it to the quarterback and
you get if you're allowed to get that hit and
you hit him, I don't want to hear you bitching
and moaning and complaining about Oh he threw his weight
all on him, and it looks like he puts his
arms out, so he doesn't he's not really driving him
into the ground.
Speaker 3 (22:50):
Like I am so sick of it. If I were,
I would love.
Speaker 7 (22:58):
To organize defenses around the league and have them strike
until they remove some of the rules that they have
surrounding protecting these offensive guys, more specifically to quarterback.
Speaker 3 (23:11):
They should strike.
Speaker 7 (23:14):
I'm not playing if I can't, if I can't all
the work I have to do, if I make it
to the quarterback and you're telling me when I hit him,
I have to figure out what I'm going to do
once I make contact with this guy. That's ridiculous, man,
that's ridiculous. He put his arms out and tried to
avoid the whole holding him and throwing him to the
(23:36):
ground part of it. But he's still landed on him
in a way where they should have threw the flag
for it to be a fifteen yard like what he
landed on him. That's called a sack a tackle, Like
when did the dude touched his face on the one play?
Touched his face and they were like, that should.
Speaker 3 (23:57):
Have been fifteen yards a personal foul?
Speaker 7 (24:01):
All right, man, all right, I mean give them give
them a boob too, you know, make sure that you're
you're you're getting them their their proper amount of breast milk.
Obviously Mac didn't get enough breast milk because he was
cramping up. I mean give him a bottle and a
passifire and put him in a bit. I swaddled.
Speaker 1 (24:18):
I heard herb Street read mac Jones's last rites at
least twice last night, like the way he was breaking
down him recovering from some of.
Speaker 4 (24:26):
Those what about number forty four were his?
Speaker 1 (24:32):
I didn't notice that, But yeah, did you think he's
hung up on the name?
Speaker 2 (24:35):
I no.
Speaker 5 (24:37):
I mean, look, calling enough games like there are usually
something you look at you go, oh, that's gonna be
tough to say in real time, and you're practicing, practicing, practicing,
and then you get the opportunity to say it. And
the hardest thing about talking on TV is slowing down.
And I still don't do a good enough job of that.
But when you were trying to say a very difficult name,
(24:59):
you get concerned about sounding too slow, like it won't
sound how it's supposed to, it will stick out. But
that's the only way, especially like a lot of the
Polynesian names become very difficult. So I mean, use check.
It's not tough to say. I have no idea why
she didn't say use check.
Speaker 1 (25:14):
What's the one that gets you, guys, Because I'll tell
you the one that gets me Rivalry Week. If I
try and read that fast, it's just for the the
R and the W together just get me. Every time
Rivalry Week I can't. For some reason, I can't.
Speaker 3 (25:28):
I don't know.
Speaker 1 (25:29):
It just doesn't doesn't work for me.
Speaker 4 (25:32):
What about Hayley Carton like I said.
Speaker 1 (25:33):
Earlier, Yeah that too, Like why I screw her name?
I never screwed that.
Speaker 4 (25:37):
Up that one?
Speaker 5 (25:39):
You you make sense, right, Kelly Harton, Like you just
flipped the letters, so I get that.
Speaker 1 (25:43):
But Rivalry Week, for whatever reason, that always tripped me out.
I don't know why.
Speaker 4 (25:47):
You know, it is hard hard to say, but you.

Speaker 1 (29:30):
All right, So producer Shay He has been given the
unenviable task of trying to put together the math on
what the totals are for the records on the season
based on LeVar and Brady manipulating.
Speaker 4 (29:46):
What do you mean task with it? It's right above
our thing.
Speaker 2 (29:49):
And poisoning the well.
Speaker 4 (29:51):
Why are you lying about with these.
Speaker 1 (29:52):
Moneyline options that have now ruined It's really weird.
Speaker 4 (29:57):
He's a terrible better and he tries to make it
seem like he's fine.
Speaker 6 (30:00):
Yeah, thanks for setting me up, Jonas.
Speaker 1 (30:03):
I'm just trying to help you out.
Speaker 6 (30:04):
You no, I appreciate it. I'm I had a Bachelor
of Arts, not a Bachelor of Science or anything, so
now I needed that. Seriously. That was been funn Thank you.
Speaker 3 (30:11):
Yeah.
Speaker 6 (30:13):
So what's going to last week totals before we go
into this week? Jonas? You went three for two, LeVar
went five for one, and Brady went four for three, So.
Speaker 3 (30:24):
There you go, there you go.
Speaker 4 (30:25):
Yeah, take that, Jonas, So what's the totals?
Speaker 3 (30:28):
Have totals?
Speaker 6 (30:29):
I have the totals. I have the totals. We can
go into the totals the totals. So the Jonas is
twelve for ten, is seventeen for seven, and LeVar was
twenty for seven.
Speaker 3 (30:42):
So about that.
Speaker 1 (30:43):
Twenty and seven? How about you, LeVar?
Speaker 3 (30:45):
How about it?
Speaker 7 (30:45):
There's a lot of money lines, yeah him, Yeah, I'm
not afraid. Yeah, you know, I don't complain about it.
If you go the wrong way, it go the wrong way.
But I ain't afraid. All right, let's go with.
Speaker 6 (30:56):
That, man, Let's get right into this guys. All right,
So the first of the day, which is gonna be
the London game of six am game Vikings minus four
and a half at.
Speaker 2 (31:05):
Browns Vikings versus Browns.
Speaker 4 (31:08):
Wow, that was professional.
Speaker 3 (31:11):
Minus four and alf.
Speaker 4 (31:14):
Who's going first.
Speaker 3 (31:16):
I'm gonna take the Vikings to cover cut. Yeah.
Speaker 1 (31:20):
I'm gonna take Minnesota as well too. Undefeated in London.
They've been on a vert in Europe for a little
while now. They looked better, especially in the fourth quarter
last week and Dylan Gabriel making his first start. I
think I'm gonna go Minnesota minus four and a half.
Speaker 5 (31:34):
I hate the number, but and I don't want to
go against the Browns, but I'm also gonna lay the
points with Minnesota.
Speaker 1 (31:42):
You know she's a Browns fan too.
Speaker 6 (31:44):
Yeah. Brutal from you guys. All right, Yeah, Dylan Gabriel starting,
I got it. He's in London.
Speaker 3 (31:50):
Okay, what does that mean he's gonna lose further away?
Speaker 8 (31:54):
Damn?
Speaker 3 (31:56):
What does that mean? Damn?
Speaker 6 (31:57):
I have no no high hopes for this, and that's all.
And it's all right, all right, Broncos as minus three
and a half Eagles.
Speaker 1 (32:10):
And a half, Jeez, I will take I'll take Philly.
I'm not that high on on Denvers as everybody else is.
I mean everyone you know. Oh man, listen, Denver could
be a real deal. Are you serious? Like the Cincinnati
stunk on Monday night? It's a short week. I'll take
(32:30):
I'll take Philly here.
Speaker 7 (32:33):
If they were in Philly, if they were in Denver,
I would call it it's a trap game. But since
they got them my home, I'm gonna take Philly to
cover as well.
Speaker 5 (32:46):
They gotta slip up one of these times, right, I'm
gonna take Denver. I'm gonna take Denver. I think that
that hook is gonna come back to get you guys.
Speaker 6 (32:58):
Okay, all right, next him. We got Broncos at Seahawks.
Speaker 3 (33:05):
Uh, you got who at Seahawks?
Speaker 6 (33:07):
But sorry, Buccaneers Buccaneers that.
Speaker 2 (33:09):
The Buccaneers at Seahawks.
Speaker 6 (33:11):
There we go, all right, So you had to insert
it correctly for the voice to come out. Yeah, it's
gonna be Seahawks minus three and a half. Really, they're
their favored, their favorite in Seattle. That home money lineing
my money line for a week on here the Bucks,
(33:31):
the money line.
Speaker 3 (33:32):
In the Bucks.
Speaker 1 (33:38):
I'll take Tampa getting the three and a half I
think they I think they respond, and I'm gonna go
with my preseason feeling that Seattle is nothing to brag about.
So I'm gonna take Tampa getting the points. They might lose,
but I don't think they're gonna lose my morning field goal.
Speaker 5 (33:56):
I'm with far I'm gonna take Tampa and the money
line here. I think, although something feels off about this one,
so I don't know.
Speaker 3 (34:03):
Now, be strong in it. It's good. It's good one.
It's a good four, all right.
Speaker 2 (34:08):
Next, Commanders and Chargers.
Speaker 6 (34:11):
We got Chargers minus two and a half on this one.
Speaker 1 (34:13):
Jonas Jayden Daniels is back. The Chargers are banged up.
Oh jeez man, but Terry mclaurin's out. I'll take La.
I'm gonna bolt up because you know what they say,
bolt up or bolt down.
Speaker 3 (34:29):
Give me the Chargers. Chargers are good, man.
Speaker 7 (34:33):
I like the Chargers, but I really feel like this
is a money line or too. I'm a money line
of the Washington Commanders.
Speaker 4 (34:43):
Damn yeah, I'm.
Speaker 5 (34:48):
Gonna take the Chargers and lay the points. I don't
know something something about this game. I think it's a
bounce back get right gave for the Chargers.
Speaker 4 (34:57):
After last week.
Speaker 1 (34:58):
By the way, var are you gonna be out there?
It's uh, you know that's so far commander. Yeah, your
old team.
Speaker 3 (35:03):
That interesting.
Speaker 4 (35:04):
Yeah, you're gonna be out there.
Speaker 3 (35:06):
Come on, no, I'm going to be at uh the
Rose Bowl on Saturday.
Speaker 4 (35:11):
Yeah you are, You're already there?
Speaker 3 (35:13):
So far? Yeah, yes, so far?
Speaker 6 (35:17):
All right.
Speaker 2 (35:17):
Next, Patrian sitting bills.
Speaker 6 (35:20):
We got bills minus eight and a half.
Speaker 7 (35:26):
J want to take the bills to cover? That's LeVar
Levars want to take the bills to go?
Speaker 6 (35:33):
Yeah, okay, hold on, wait for that.
Speaker 1 (35:35):
Why does LeVar get to cut in front of me
like that?
Speaker 3 (35:37):
Because you was just taking long like you're gonna take Yeah,
you're like.
Speaker 10 (35:42):
I decided to save him till the end and then
then you do.
Speaker 4 (35:46):
The whole like yeah, it looks to the papers thing
you're gonna do.
Speaker 3 (35:49):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (35:50):
Yeah, it's twenty twenty five. Man, people don't print stuff
out anymore.
Speaker 4 (35:53):
Yeah they do. Our show still does. Yeah, all right,
our show still does.
Speaker 3 (35:57):
All right.
Speaker 1 (35:57):
Let me so it's bills minus eight and a half.
Speaker 4 (36:00):
Yeah yeah. Hold let's.
Speaker 3 (36:03):
There you go.
Speaker 4 (36:04):
There you go, this is radio stick.
Speaker 3 (36:10):
There you go.
Speaker 1 (36:11):
I'm gonna take Buffalo sha knocks.
Speaker 4 (36:14):
Locks all right, let me let me just look at
my computer real quick.
Speaker 3 (36:26):
Oh see, that's cute right there.
Speaker 7 (36:29):
He's joking, but that's really how quick that mo fo
beat beat that's actually slow for him.
Speaker 4 (36:35):
That is the Patriots here and the eight and a
half points place O.
Speaker 2 (36:40):
Whens whens.
Speaker 3 (36:41):
That's probably a winner. That's probably one.
Speaker 4 (36:44):
Thank you, Malcom.
Speaker 6 (36:48):
That wraps up this week. How about mess this up?
Speaker 3 (36:50):
Guys.
Speaker 1 (36:52):
There have been some confusion when you said now like
twelve or ten. It's twelve and ten, twelve and ten. Yeah,
but it's listen, doesn't matter. You guys made it tough.
You know when you add money line a lot of math, yeah,
a lot of math. Yeah, but no, it's it's all good.
Speaker 4 (37:06):
It's really confused by the money line thing.
Speaker 6 (37:08):
Yeah, I can see. Yeah, he was talking a lot
about it during the break. It's just ruined, just ruined
the entire segment.
Speaker 3 (37:15):
You're good at it, Jonas.
Speaker 1 (37:17):
Coming up coming up next here, we are going to
close up shop with another edition of the left Tracks
right here on the FSR.
Speaker 3 (37:25):
There you go.
Speaker 7 (37:26):
And speaking of eating things, you know what, it just
hits different when you eat things after a football, when
the food tastes better the drinks are colder and well.
The hot sauce, oh yeah, that better be the original
Louisiana hot sauce because nothing brings the heat like your
team getting that dub, and nothing brings the flavor like
(37:49):
that bold, hand crafted kick straight out of Louisiana hot sauce.
That's right, it's a kickoff peppery peppers, vinegar salt. Yeah,
that our Louisiana flavor masters have been blending perfectly for
almost one hundred years. It'll turn every good meal into
(38:12):
a great meal, and every great meal into a party
on your plate y, that's right, Wings, nachos, burgers, it
don't matter. You hit it with that original Louisiana hot
sauce after a Sunday wind, and suddenly.
Speaker 3 (38:26):
It's an unbeatable deal, like a touchdown. Dance on your tongue.
Speaker 7 (38:32):
Yeah, it's your taste buds they dancing because that Louisiana
hot it hit them. And you know what, even if
your team didn't pull out the wind this week, you
still pour some on it. You dig what I'm saying.
It'll help you ease the pain. That's what we call
a victory formation for your taste buds. That's original Louisiana
Hot Sauce. That's Louisiana Hot by.
Speaker 8 (38:56):

Speaker 3 (39:55):
Here we go.
Speaker 10 (39:56):
I know you know, because it's everywhere Taylor Swift's newest album,
Life of a show Girl, dropped at midnight last night.
Speaker 3 (40:03):
All right, you will be taken off of this if
we do any more.
Speaker 14 (40:06):
Taylor Swift now listen has a lot of daughters. No,
we raise them up on like real normal people.
Speaker 3 (40:17):
All right.
Speaker 4 (40:18):
Not whatever is going on with that.
Speaker 6 (40:19):
Well, she's supposed to hit one.
Speaker 4 (40:22):
In the first Holy daughters play sports. They will eventually
shoot guns and stuff. Keep out of this.
Speaker 3 (40:29):
This was a loss.
Speaker 6 (40:31):
We go good for them, Good for that, you know,
all right to thank you for bringing that up.
Speaker 1 (40:36):
I think we need to be kept up on game
when it comes to what's going on in pop culture.
Speaker 7 (40:40):
Thank you.
Speaker 3 (40:41):
I think it's very especially with Taylor Swift.
Speaker 1 (40:43):
Yeah, now, we don't get enough of her.
Speaker 10 (40:46):
You guys might want to google this one because this
is definitely a visual thing. You know how much the
NBA loves statues.
Speaker 6 (40:52):
Well, I saw this the other day.
Speaker 10 (40:55):
Tina Turner got her own ten foot statue over in Tennessee,
in the community where she was born and raised. And
people are saying that the person who made Dwayne Wade's
was responsible for making Tina Turners as well. Because it
is a full a lot of controversy. A lot of
people have said that, oh nut Bush in the comments,
(41:16):
but her legs look really good.
Speaker 4 (41:18):
What the hell are we talking about?
Speaker 3 (41:19):
Tina is a strike too? I mean, is this what
you strike too?
Speaker 6 (41:24):
That is such a good story?
Speaker 4 (41:26):
Is called sports talk radio? Not whatever the hell you're
doing right now?
Speaker 2 (41:30):
But did you look at the statue?
Speaker 6 (41:31):
It is so good?
Speaker 10 (41:33):
No, it's actually really bad.
Speaker 2 (41:34):
It look like you have a sheep dog.
Speaker 3 (41:36):
On her head.
Speaker 2 (41:36):
What they do.
Speaker 1 (41:37):
It's an interesting pose in the statue.
Speaker 10 (41:39):
Yes, it's very You guys should look at it. Instead
of just hating on the stories.
Speaker 4 (41:43):
I want Lee back with twelve years in on the.
Speaker 3 (41:49):
What else we got?
Speaker 10 (41:51):
Oh my goodness, lots of travel this weekend, I plan
on going cow tipping.
Speaker 3 (41:57):
Don't do that, that's not that's not aprop read anymore.
Speaker 1 (42:00):
Oh yeah, var did that one?
Speaker 4 (42:02):
Why would you admit? That's not even a humane like,
why are you doing that?
Speaker 10 (42:06):
Well, if you've seen my arm muscles, you know this
cow ain't going nowhere?
Speaker 1 (42:10):
People still cow tip? Is that really a thing?
Speaker 7 (42:12):
Still?
Speaker 13 (42:12):
Not that I know of?
Speaker 10 (42:14):
No, but it sounds fun.
Speaker 6 (42:17):
Yeah it's not, yes it is, it was, Well you
actually did it?
Speaker 3 (42:22):
Yes?
Speaker 2 (42:24):
How big was the cow.
Speaker 3 (42:26):
It was a big cow.
Speaker 1 (42:27):
That's a big cow.
Speaker 7 (42:28):
You had to get up and you had to get
up under and it wasn't like you was going to
