Speaker 3 (00:35):
You know what kills me about hearing this right now
is Friday night Drew Ski had a uh there was
like we didn't really get details on what it was,
but it was like a concert mixed with him kind
of come in doing a little bit of like stand
up and so you know, obviously I've been six so
I was like, I'm not. I don't need to be
(00:55):
out any later that I need to be out. But
Mark went and Mark was like, yeah, man, he's like
big as the plug was there, I was like really,
I was like, oh, He's like yeah. He took videos
of the whole thing. I was like, damn it. I
was like, that was my opportunity I was I see
Drew scann him and didn't work out.
Speaker 2 (01:11):
Didn't quite work out. Two big dudes, bro, he's he
is big like from the video. Mark took us like,
damn he's he's he's big like jacked or no, no, no,
I mean he's big. Diameter is a diameter, it's big.
(01:36):
That's a huge bite anyway. Anyways, so rude, big fellaws.
Oh my god.
Speaker 4 (01:54):

(02:18):
I was good to mention this looked like you guys
were getting baked out there in ann Arbor at the
Big House.
Speaker 3 (02:25):
It was so damn hot, and they told us they're like, hey,
our set's not on the normal spot, like bring sunglasses,
which you know, I I personally don't think it's a
good look on TV. I understand there's a time and
place for it. I just think it doesn't look as professional,
you know, and we needed them, I'll put it that way.
(02:46):
Which the other thing I don't understand because I don't
know lighting. The sun was like obviously right in front
of us, like beating down on us, and we still
had like lighting like also, so it was like, you know,
doubling the actual like light that was hitting our face.
So if I had a scowl on the whole time,
that was That was essentially why, like I was having
(03:06):
a hard time even looking forward at the camera.
Speaker 4 (03:09):
I would have melted.
Speaker 5 (03:10):
It was hot as hell.
Speaker 2 (03:11):
You're soft, Yeah, to pale, you would have melted too.
Pale man, that means you would have burnt. Not you
would have melted, melted.
Speaker 4 (03:22):
See what happens to vampires when they hit the sun?
Speaker 2 (03:24):
Yeah, they evaporate, they burn.
Speaker 4 (03:26):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (03:27):
Yeah, it's curriy. You gotta make it kind of makes
the same sound. The sizzle is the same as the hiss.
It sucks. Although look, it's a tough life to live,
but forever, Yeah, it's true. I don't get that though.
If you burn in the sun. Then you can't live forever, right,
You're just out of there. You burnt up.
Speaker 4 (03:46):
Yeah, so you just stay out of the sun.
Speaker 2 (03:48):
I got you.
Speaker 4 (03:51):
So, speaking of uh, speaking of bad and speaking of
one wanted to look around and make yourselfself feel better
about things. The Arizona Cardinals managed to put together the
worst loss of the season. And I don't really know
what's second to it. That was awful. How job, I
(04:12):
don't call what it is. How How the f does
Tennessee win that game? Oh? I know how because we're
still doing the whole drop the ball before the end
zone when you're on the way to score a thing
like that's still happening. And then that just led to
everything else that fell apart for them, that crazy Tyler
(04:32):
Lockett scramble fumble for a touchdown, just all of it.
That was the worst loss of the season. And I
don't I'm looking around going if you're Arizona or if
you're like guys, are you starting to question, like, hey,
what are we doing here? Because they're they're losing games close?
And then that happened and somehow, some way, the Tennessee
(04:55):
Titans are in the win column.
Speaker 2 (04:57):
That was brutal.
Speaker 3 (04:58):
Well, yeah, and like Tennessee no business winning that game. No,
like they did really nothing to win that game outside
of jump on a ball that was intercepted then fumbled
then ping ponged around until it fell in the end zone.
Like the entire second half to come back. It was nice.
(05:19):
I just you'll never see a play like that ever.
Aget No, that interception fumble ball, like the whole thing,
how that worked out, You'll never see that ever.
Speaker 5 (05:29):
Again in the history of football. I feel really safe
in saying that.
Speaker 4 (05:33):
I mean, the crowd was shocked like they like you
could you couldn't actually believe that this was happening because
they were up by eighteen, and yeah, Tennessee could generate nothing.
Brian Callahan's having a difference that.
Speaker 2 (05:47):
Twenty one six I halftime, twenty one to six I halftime,
and they blanked each other in the third quarter. Yeah,
no one scored in the third quarter. It was terrible.
They gave up a sixteen, they gave up a sixty. Yeah,
I can read see that. See that thing it says
b O x box. Yeah, so anyway you can you
(06:11):
can gain that from looking at it. I mean I
did watch the game some of it trust, but if
you didn't know, it would Yeah, no, I did. I did,
and and I kind of reflected the box score. They
the Arizona Cardinals started off pretty pretty quickly. You know,
they were able to move up and down the field.
(06:33):
They had good offense, and they they held up on
defense like they were able to limit them. And it
seems like it seemed like they were doing what they
wanted to do and they had settled into what their
game plan was going to be. Now you go make
your adjustments. They came out at half it seemed to
be more of a defense struggle. They couldn't, you know,
maybe lost their rhythm. I don't, I don't know what
(06:54):
what went wrong, but they did find a way to
lose the game, don't. I don't know that that was
Tennessee finding a way to win it more so than
it was Arizona's finding a way to lose it. So,
and of course that obviously the dropping the ball before
you went to I kind of thought it was a touchdown, Honestly,
I thought his foot broke the plane. Now I know
(07:17):
it's about the ball breaking the plane. And it was
starting to to you know, he was starting to come
loose of the ball. Yeah, that was the problem, I
kind of but I kind of felt like it still
it still was kind of a touchdown.
Speaker 6 (07:30):
If he had If he had the ball in his
hand without it moving at all, and the tip of
the ball hits the goal line, it's touchdown.
Speaker 2 (07:41):
I kind of felt like it did well.
Speaker 4 (07:42):
But why why even takes?
Speaker 3 (07:44):
I know, why is this thing? Why is this the thing?
I know, it's the stupidest thing in football.
Speaker 2 (07:51):
It is.
Speaker 3 (07:52):
It's so dumb, Like what do you gain out of
dropping the ball that close to it? Drop it once
you get in the back of the end zone? Yeah,
Like does it look any any what's cool? I don't
get it? Am I just like that out of touch?
Myld Is it because I'm white? Like, help me understand,
hold on, help me understand?
Speaker 2 (08:11):
Like what makes that?
Speaker 5 (08:13):
What makes that cool?
Speaker 2 (08:14):
What makes that?
Speaker 7 (08:15):
Like?
Speaker 5 (08:15):
What you do?
Speaker 2 (08:16):
I mean, Lorna, are you not paying? You're not going
You're not going to hit the racial? But racist? But
questions like the hit or racist?
Speaker 4 (08:26):
There's options, Okay.
Speaker 2 (08:28):
I mean that one can ask that question all the
way over.
Speaker 4 (08:32):
The racist, but I'm with them. I can relate, so.
Speaker 3 (08:36):
I can't ask the question why I don't understand why
players continue.
Speaker 2 (08:40):
To just what game, what what type of players?
Speaker 3 (08:45):
Whole players players you said, I'm a white guy, understand
what type of.
Speaker 8 (08:50):
Is because type of what I'm saying, what type of players?
What type of players are dropping the ball early? We've
already we've already been spiking the ball early. Can go
for three dumb spiking. No one's spiking.
Speaker 7 (09:07):
No.
Speaker 3 (09:07):
I just like, I literally just called a game. And
you've got a really talented play and Adady Mitchell who's
not playing because he's being disciplined, and mind you, by
the way, like the coaching staff is like, look like
we felt like we had to do this because the
locker room was so upset about it.
Speaker 5 (09:22):
The Colts legitimate should probably be undefeated.
Speaker 3 (09:24):
Yeah, they should be undefeated, and like because of that
one play, they're not okay.
Speaker 4 (09:31):
So here's my question from when you guys were playing.
If you see somebody make an egregious air like that,
a mistake that could have been avoided, a dumb play
like a d Mitchell did the week before, is your
coaching staff as a teaching point on other teams that
like the next couple of days as you hey, by
the way, friendly reminder, we don't want to do this, Like,
(09:54):
don't do that because apparently that didn't happen in Arizona,
because it happened.
Speaker 2 (10:00):
Just doesn't it just like it just doesn't make sense.
There's no way to calculate how that makes any sense
at any point in time. It's so it's so it's
just the can't get right move.
Speaker 3 (10:13):
So let me say if a player is trying to
reach for the goal line, which that actually, honestly, Jonas,
is more of a coaching point, like when a player
is going through the defenders going to reach, or if
it's like close and they try to reach a lot
of coaches will teach to not do that because they're
concerned about it getting knocked out going out the end zone. So,
(10:35):
Derek Carr, that's actually like a legitimate on tape coaching thing.
You don't know, what's never talked about is dropping the
ball when there's no one around you running into the
end zone because it's.
Speaker 2 (10:47):
The stupidest thing ever, because the stupidest thing you can celebrate.
Speaker 4 (10:51):
They just assume, Man, nobody's at dumb, nobody's gonna do that.
Speaker 3 (10:54):
It's like, why am I going to coach dumb that
guy's not gonna be on my team. So like it's
I can't believe this, Like you just saw a player
do it last week, How does it happen again?
Speaker 5 (11:06):
And by the way, Jonathan Gannon was fired up.
Speaker 3 (11:07):
I'm not sure if you saw the clip of him
when he went over to De Mercado and he gave
him a good old chess bump.
Speaker 4 (11:14):
I mean, like, why wouldn't you because everything fell apart
after that, just like they completely like everything fell apart.
And it's not not to blame him on you know,
the other mistakes and the flukey play, but you just
you go back to that one and you go, oh wow,
that that really would have been the difference between them
winning and losing that game.
Speaker 2 (11:35):
And that's crazy.
Speaker 5 (11:38):
It's that's crazy.
Speaker 4 (11:41):
I don't understand.
Speaker 2 (11:43):
I like I said, I still would debate on.
Speaker 3 (11:45):
His Jonah doesn't understand, but he like, but LeVar, do
you understand does it make sense to you?
Speaker 2 (11:53):
No, it doesn't, it doesn't. It does not make sense
to me.
Speaker 5 (11:57):
It's not because I'm white, then that's what you're saying.
Speaker 2 (11:59):
Well, I didn't bring up and said you said, because
is it because I'm white? I didn't say because you're white,
you don't understand.
Speaker 3 (12:06):
You on you, people would say there's some people in
life that wouldn't understand because they're white.
Speaker 2 (12:14):
People would say, based off of that statement, you're classifying
this bone hitted move. No, that's a different racial group.
People would take it. I mean it would you take you, Jonas.
Speaker 4 (12:28):
It's by see the equivalent to LeVar telling us you
guys never played the game. It's like, you know what,
so we can't relate to it.
Speaker 5 (12:36):
Just when you think Jonas is going to say something's
gonna help, I just like you know, tries to get
off the tangent.
Speaker 2 (12:43):
I don't think the asking the question.
Speaker 3 (12:45):
Like, by the way, that's part of the issue with
our society is no one can ask questions anymore.
Speaker 2 (12:49):
I was people ask a question, don't put that evil
on me, Ricky Bobby. But you said so, I said, like,
I help me understand why there.
Speaker 4 (13:01):
Is a white guy, a white guy who had a
habit of reaching the ball for the goal line and
it fall a slipping way.
Speaker 2 (13:09):
Was Derek Carr. Derek Carr did at least all I
know is he said, can I not understand it because
I'm a white guy? Coop, what is what would your
conclusion be if he if somebody said that, that's not
that's not being sensitive, that's saying okay. That means that
white guys don't do this. So I can't understand that.
Speaker 3 (13:30):
It doesn't doesn't have to do with that with who
does it. It has to do with why. I can't
understand why. What's cool about?
Speaker 7 (13:37):
Why?
Speaker 4 (13:37):
Okay, Coop, can your white ass explain this to us?
Speaker 2 (13:40):
Please? Cool? Please? Come on, Coop, I don't want to
be involved in Come on, Coop, what.
Speaker 4 (13:48):
Are you ashamed to be white?
Speaker 2 (13:52):
Maybe?
Speaker 7 (13:52):
Right?
Speaker 2 (13:53):
Yes, I mean because Coob has to agree with me.
You're the way it was present that it was like, hey, look,
I'm just trying to all the way I can understand
is this happens. I would have to be in the
racial group that does this to be able to understand
how this happened.
Speaker 1 (14:13):
What.
Speaker 2 (14:14):
The more I thought about it, I was like, dang,
I can't come up with a white dude that's done it.
Come on with one that's done it.
Speaker 3 (14:23):
Like Jonas is like car when he was trying to
go across, It's like, yeah, dude, it's a different So
he was trying to help.
Speaker 2 (14:29):
I'm trying to trying to help.
Speaker 4 (14:31):
I'm trying to make LeVar feel comfortable.
Speaker 2 (14:33):
Here, but hey man, you can't make me uncomfortable because
I'm not sensitive. But call it what it is. You
said you couldn't understand that to help me understand, you're
going to help you understand, like Collin, what you wanted
to Jonas. Jonas didn't play damn and he didn't play across.
Speaker 4 (14:57):
And also for you to ask him the question. And
also I'm not black, so I don't I don't qualify
for this. I really should want to beach. I asses
over this for real.
Speaker 2 (15:09):
What I mean, just right, just because on the principles
is standing on business of being a black just asked
the question him for that I should Yeah, but Jonas
is we already know he's a confirmed racist. We we
know that, so it's all right. But you Q, I
was expecting more from you. Q. I wouldn't expected use
(15:30):
that you're.
Speaker 3 (15:33):
This, you know, throwing around a term that hey probably
doesn't have any businesses sports talking.
Speaker 2 (15:39):
I mean, I don't know you took you look, don't
get sensitive now you threw out like you asking for
your explanation. Don't try to reverse the trick on me.
Speaker 4 (15:53):
You know, somebody just turned on their car right now,
they're driving like all. The first thing there is Jonas
is a confirmed racist.
Speaker 2 (16:02):
Break Quinn just said, and I'm against it. Hey, hey,
there's no place for that type of there's no place
for those types of references in sports talk radio.
Speaker 3 (16:13):
What I'm saying, we throw around the word racist very loosely.
Speaker 2 (16:19):
Yeah, I mean I I do, because well that's a
whole different conversation. Wait, why do you do that. There's
a different conversation, you know what you throw it around,
Lavart I, unlike most people, have a sense of humor,
and when there are serious issues, there are serious issues.
When I use it, I just tend to not use
it in serious issues, that's all. I stay away from
(16:41):
the serious issues with those types of terms, and I
keep them in a lighter, lighter issue, which makes it
more you know, fun for me. That's that's kind of
how I approach it. You know, if it was something
like that was really really serious, that you wouldn't hear
me handle it that way. But this, this, in this moment,
in particular, the way you sit it, the way you
(17:04):
sit it, and the way Jonas totally walked right into
it with you Yeah, it was fun.
Speaker 4 (17:10):
That's my loyalty.
Speaker 2 (17:11):
Though this was fun. I have fun with it. I
have fun, that's all.
Speaker 3 (17:16):
Here's here's my question is doesn't happen again the rest
of the season. Does someone else do this?
Speaker 2 (17:21):
No way? I would say, I hope not. But you
gotta believe that there's always a can't get right that
can you know?
Speaker 4 (17:30):
By the way, de Mercado has no touchdowns on the year.
That would have been his first. What are you doing, dude?
Speaker 2 (17:36):
He should have been wrapping it up with two hands.
Speaker 4 (17:39):
He's got a receiving touchdown.
Speaker 2 (17:40):
Never mind.
Speaker 4 (17:41):
But yeah, just I don't It doesn't make any sense
to me. And I don't know how you.
Speaker 5 (17:46):
Why does it make sense to you?
Speaker 2 (17:47):
Jeh? Why does it make sense?
Speaker 5 (17:49):
Why does it make sense?
Speaker 7 (17:50):
Right?
Speaker 5 (17:51):
But here's the problem is makes sense to you? Doesn't
make sense to you?
Speaker 2 (17:55):
Well, what does that mean? Jonas? What does that mean?
LeVar doesn't want to the question. But I just want
to understand what does it mean? Because you're white, you
don't understand it, Like, what does that exactly mean? That's
all I'm saying. I'm just trying to understand. Oh, no comment, No,
I'm just no. I was looking let's ask p.
Speaker 5 (18:14):
When we come back, let's say ask Pete.
Speaker 7 (18:17):
Pete.
Speaker 2 (18:18):
I'm sure Pete won't be afraid to express himself. I'll
tell you that.
Speaker 5 (18:22):
I'm sure Peter's come out firing.
Speaker 2 (18:24):
Did you like that? Did you like that?
Speaker 4 (18:27):
It's a great Seguere you go, you are? You are

But let's talk about our friends at the Home Depot.
(19:51):

something done right now with the one and only Peter Cristo, Senior,
(20:12):

get them on x at Prisco, CBS PE.
Speaker 2 (20:19):
Good morning, are you coming in here? And clearing your
throat like that. Man, God, bro, that wasn't me, that
was that was me. That was that was one Pete
pre that was me.
Speaker 5 (20:30):
Don't put it on.
Speaker 7 (20:33):
By the way, and by the way, the more it's
it's coming from Brady who says you never get sick,
who's been sick for about fifteen days.
Speaker 2 (20:39):
I'm willing to admit it now, dude.
Speaker 3 (20:41):
My my health journey has been a quite the adventure
of the past few weeks.
Speaker 7 (20:46):
So what do you got? What do you got? Cold? Brady?
Speaker 5 (20:48):
Were I don't know now it might be like pneumonia.
I think I didn't. I didn't catch it and knock
it out quick enough.
Speaker 7 (20:53):
Jeez, oh, Brady, you got to get that out of you. Man,
that could be dangerous.
Speaker 5 (20:56):
And what do you do for pneumonia?
Speaker 7 (20:59):
What you you rest? And of course you don't.
Speaker 5 (21:01):
Die, but there's not gonna be a chance for that.
Speaker 7 (21:03):
So hey, hey, Brady, we were listening. We put your
sound on the game in the green room and we
were listened to you and everybody in there. It goes, oh,
my god, that doesn't even sound like Brady. And I said,
you know why, because last week I said, I mentioned
to him that he says he never gets sick, and
you know what, you said, you had allergies, and they go,
there's no chance he has allergies. No chance, everybody.
Speaker 3 (21:22):
I was, I was hyped up on a lot of
different stuff. So hopefully didn't sound too bad.
Speaker 7 (21:26):
No, you didn't. You sound you sounded very good on
the game. He just didn't sound like yourself, that's all.
Speaker 2 (21:30):
Yeah.
Speaker 5 (21:30):
No, I haven't for like six weeks.
Speaker 7 (21:32):
Man.
Speaker 5 (21:32):
It's it's weird.
Speaker 4 (21:33):
Pete. Can you explain why it is guys continue to
drop the ball before they crossed the goal line?
Speaker 2 (21:40):
What is that? Yeah, to get.
Speaker 7 (21:42):
Idiots and idiots and morons?
Speaker 12 (21:44):
I mean, well, I was that is that target to
get certain people are Why would you say, LeVar see
you already saying what the target is.
Speaker 2 (21:55):
I'm just I'm asking you because I can hear you, Pete. Yes,
the last segment we we had, we broached this conversation
and Brady asked the question, can I not understand this
because I'm a white guy? What would your conclusion be
after hearing Brady Quinn say that, Well, I.
Speaker 7 (22:18):
Don't think it matters if you're white or black or whatever.
Speaker 2 (22:21):
It's just stupidity that is stupidity. But that's not what
I'm asking you. I'm saying, if you heard that, what
would your conclusion be as to why Brady Quick would
say that?
Speaker 7 (22:32):
Brady, why did you say that?
Speaker 2 (22:33):
I don't know whycause I can't understand. I think you'd
be scared enough not to not take it.
Speaker 3 (22:39):
I can't understand how a player would do that. And
so the only other former player on this show is Lafar.
I asked him and he went out, He's like, what's
so supposed to me?
Speaker 2 (22:48):
Wait? Wait, I just happened to be a blend dude,
and you happen to be a white you know.
Speaker 3 (22:53):
All of a sudden, Penn State gets bludgeoned by Ul
and he turns into.
Speaker 2 (22:57):
A little whimpy boy. Can't answer the question, Pete.
Speaker 7 (23:03):
Because no, in funny, you guys talking about that this
last night on the show. We were talking about it,
and I said, it's, you know, really stupid to do it,
and and Ran Carthon said something about cachet or you know,
for your gram or whatever, and I go, okay, where's
what's cool about dropping the football? Even if you drop
it a yard or a half a yard?
Speaker 2 (23:25):
And that was but you but you qualified, you qualify?
Do I not understand because I'm a white guy? That's
a fair question. This is a question he doesn't know
him qualify? How that's a fair question. Okay, but why
is it because you're a white guy you can't understand?
Speaker 4 (23:46):
I think Pete's the perfect gud asked him, because obviously
Levar's black. Brady and I are white, and Pete tan.
So he stops the difference, he splits the difference, and
so we needed an expert.
Speaker 2 (24:00):
So pet so good?
Speaker 7 (24:02):
You know what?
Speaker 2 (24:03):
Good?
Speaker 7 (24:04):
What's the reason for it? Though? LeVar? What's you're it?
Speaker 2 (24:15):
I'm scared. I've scored a lot of touchdowns in my day,
and not one of them did I I dropped the
ball early or do something early? Man? But before I
crossed the goal? Lad for one? But for two? Why
am I the one that I'm getting the question directed to?
Speaker 7 (24:33):
Like?
Speaker 2 (24:34):
I feel like this is an obvious there's an obvious
undertone connected here.
Speaker 7 (24:38):
I directed it well, I directed it to everybody. And
the reality is, when I think about it, what's the
point of it? Though?
Speaker 2 (24:46):
If you don't know, I don't know, why Why would
why would I know?
Speaker 7 (24:49):
I don't I don't know I'm asking all of you.
Speaker 2 (24:53):
I know you said LeVar just like Q. Did you
directed it towards me as well? I don't because I
didn't direct it at you. I am anything. I just
wanted to I asked a general question with a white
guy and not understand a guy dropping the ball early
before going into the enzo I it was a fair
(25:13):
legitimate question from him.
Speaker 5 (25:14):
In my defense, I asked it initially to everyone.
Speaker 2 (25:18):
I know. It's a general question, which is okay to say.
It's okay for you to say what you meant.
Speaker 7 (25:25):
You know what last week? Last week was Mitchell, you.
Speaker 2 (25:29):
Know what's doing it?
Speaker 5 (25:30):
Damn it?
Speaker 2 (25:31):
Thank you, thank you. I'm just saying the truth. Shell
set you free. I'm sorry. Thank I go. And it
sucks because I know there's probably something out there, but
it's not in the NFL. I haven't seen it from
a white dude. I looked at down. It's like, wait,
hold on, why dude, if none, I haven't seen any
(25:55):
do it?
Speaker 4 (25:55):
Well, they don't have that kind of breakaway speaking because.
Speaker 2 (25:57):
We don't have the much style. We don't have the
much separation or I, oh my god, y'all get trying
to hound up every opportunity. We can't getting that. Damn
N's I'm just glad the truth fatally came out. See, Coop,
you were afraid to tell the truth. You could have
been on record to say and the truth. You knew
what the answer was, Coop, It's all good. I don't
know why it happens. I really don't, Pete. Do you think, Pete?
Speaker 4 (26:19):
Do you that's that's gotta be the worst loss of
the season. And what does it say about where Arizona's at.
Speaker 7 (26:25):
Well, it's the worst loss of the season because that
touchdown puts the game away. But then it becomes even
worse when you get an interception and you fumble it
in you into their they score touchdowns off of it,
and then you know, I'm to go get the game
winning field. It's it's horrible. It's a horrible loss of that.
It tells you that Arizona is Arizona. That's what that
tells you. Every year you go into the season and think,
oh that Cardinals might be feisty and a little bit better.
(26:47):
They got added guys to the defense, and you know,
maybe Murray takes the next step and Marvin Harrison takes
the next step, and then all of a sudden, you're
still Arizona. That's what happens when you're one of those
teams and and you lose games like that that It
was the worst loss of the season by far. It
might be one of the worst losses ever.
Speaker 2 (27:04):
M So Pete, Sorry, god good, no, good good?
Speaker 7 (27:10):
But they feel better than Penn State today.
Speaker 2 (27:16):
I have no I have no response for it, zero response.
Speaker 3 (27:21):
I'm the one that was more fired up this morning
to start the show about that game.
Speaker 5 (27:26):
But we'll save that for another time.
Speaker 3 (27:28):
Last night's game are the PA the Pets, are the Pats,
the new Kings of.
Speaker 5 (27:34):
The a f C East.
Speaker 7 (27:35):
No, No, but I will I mean Pete.
Speaker 2 (27:38):
The leading right now? They did it in Buffalo.
Speaker 7 (27:41):
They're not leading the division right now.
Speaker 2 (27:44):
You sure that's right? Sorry?
Speaker 4 (27:48):
Damn well, New England lose to the Raiders.
Speaker 5 (27:52):
Yeah, I was just.
Speaker 2 (27:54):
One game.
Speaker 7 (27:56):
By the way, Mike Rabele can coach, I mean, there's
no doubt about that. Mike Brabel coach. It still is
the toughness in his team. That defense is pretty dark
good now, you know, when you have two corners that
can play man and man outside and the fore of
the third ones a good little nickel corner two Jones,
you can lock up a couple guys. And let's rereal
with the Bills. The Bills don't scare you down the field.
They just don't. And that's the biggest concern and that
(28:18):
was the question going into the season. I think that
showed up last night is their inability to get down
the field and get chunk plays in the passing game.
So yeah, I mean, look, it's a great win for
New England. It's probably one of those, like the Eagles
losing at home, one of those wake up calls for
a team we thought were pretty good going into the season,
and sometimes it gets you refocused. I am a little
worried about the Buffalo defense. I will say that they
(28:40):
got to you know, look, t Davis White can't. You
can't run anymore. He couldn't. He was never fast to
begin with. They need to get Hairston back on the field.
He's pretty close and once he gets back on the field,
I think they'll be better on defense.
Speaker 2 (28:52):
What stood out to you yesterday watching the games? The
most peat like there there was quite a few. What
did you focus in on? What was a what was
the storyline that you you're going to be talking about
as as the week unfolds.
Speaker 7 (29:05):
The Bucks are better than everybody gives them. I said,
I told you guys that before the season. I think
they're better than everybody gives them credit for for for
Baker Mayfield. Who's got to give right now, Pete, Well, no,
what I'm just saying.
Speaker 2 (29:17):
Yeah, white guy, Yeah, everybody.
Speaker 7 (29:21):
The Bucks go into Seattle and play a really good
team that was really playing well on defense and just
shredded them. We just shredded them without and think about
that offense. We haven't seen the best of the offense.
That offense with yesterday was without Gheticky, who will be
back at right tackle eventually. They were without Mike Evans,
they were without Jayalen McMillan, They without Bucky Irving, and
(29:42):
here's Baker Mayfield throwing the ball over the place. I mean,
how good can that offense be when everybody gets back,
They're gonna score a ton of points. They're a legitimate
threat to win the NFC. They really are. I mean,
you look at that team. They're one of the they're
one of the best teams in the league, and we
haven't even seen the best of them yet. So that
Baker Mayfield in the MVP conversation too. I think that's
(30:03):
something that stood out. And then Chargers, of course charging
as they always do. Just you know, three weeks ago,
we were sitting here, Tark, Oh my god, the Chargers
might be the best team in the league, and Justin
Herberts on his way to being an MVP, and they
have a lead against Washington who's floundering, and they rough
the punter. They go down and get a field goal.
(30:23):
Next thing you know, they fumble, and next thing you know,
there's a ballgame. And that's just that's the ultimate definition
of charging. When things are going well, something always happens
to that team. And it dates way back to the
old San Diego Chargers days. Something always happened to prevent
them from going to the super Bowl, even then when
they were maybe had the best team in the league.
(30:45):
And it's the same way now. The chargering never ends.
Speaker 4 (30:49):
Pete Prisco joining us here on Fox Sports Radio. What
the aff with the Baltimore Ravens like? And I know
Lamar Jackson's out that that defense has looked bad all year,
even going back to the you know, the gag job
they put together against Buffalo in Week one. What do
you make of where Baltimore's at right now.
Speaker 7 (31:07):
It's historically bad on defense, and that's been their calling
card for years. And you mentioned it. You Okay, Lamar's out,
you take the field. Lamar's out. So if you're a
defensive team, even though they had guys injured, and believe me,
they're banged up. I mean, they didn't have Brokewan Smith
even though he hasn't played that well. They didn't have
Marlin Humphrey hadn't played that well this year. They don't
have them in the lineup, But go compete. That's an
(31:30):
offense that had done nothing all year. Basically, go compete
in the game, maybe not win it, but show up.
They didn't compete. And that's the biggest thing that surprised me.
The Ravens have always been known for smacking you in
them out, hitting in the teeth and sending your home
and your bruise the entire next week. That ain't the
case anymore. Those guys don't beat up anybody anymore. And
(31:51):
that's that's the sad part about it. Having said all that,
when you play out their schedule and you look at
that division, if they can get Lamar back healthy again,
they have a chance to maybe go into this, go
down the stretch and find a way play that week
final week game against Pittsburgh with a chance to go
to the playoffs. But but things got to fall into place.
They got to get better on defense, no question.
Speaker 5 (32:13):
About it, heyp he last one for me.
Speaker 3 (32:15):
How many more losses can the Giants take before they
just throw in the towel in the season.
Speaker 7 (32:22):
In terms of what Brady, you know what I.
Speaker 5 (32:25):
Mean, Joe, Shane and Dave all being dismissed.
Speaker 7 (32:29):
I don't know. I don't know if that's going to
happen during the season. And again I go back to
does it really I mean, okay, Mike McDaniel, you want
to fire him? You who are you putting in there?
What does that do when you fire a guy during
the season? Have you played? Have you guys played on
teams where the coach got fired? Ers?
Speaker 2 (32:45):
Oh yeah, yes, okay, what happened?
Speaker 7 (32:47):
Did you get better?
Speaker 5 (32:49):
It's pretty wild. I mean, it's it's a wild scenario.
Speaker 3 (32:52):
You know, guys start kind of doing whatever the hell
they want, you know, It's just it gets pretty wild.
Speaker 7 (32:57):
Substitute tea It's like when the substitute teacher came in
used to throw the racers at the back of his
head from the back of the room, right.
Speaker 3 (33:04):
I think when Josh Daniels got fired in Denver, Eric
students still it took over. That was for like four
or five games, and that was.
Speaker 5 (33:11):
A wild month. Let's just put it that way.
Speaker 3 (33:13):
Of just seeing different things from players, you're like, there's
no accountability at that point.
Speaker 7 (33:17):
Of course not. And that's actually one of the guys
that's on the Dolphins staff now that they've talked about.
If they've made a fire and they make him be
and durw coach, that ain't going to work. Now. I
will say this, if you had in the back of
your mind that maybe Anthony Weaver was going to be
the future head coach, then maybe that would make some
sense if you wanted to try and get a jump
start on that. But here's the other part of that.
I mean, you want to look at Miami Dolphins and
(33:38):
Anthony Weaver. His defense has been getting dashed. They give
up two hundred and something rushing yards last yesterday to
the team in Carolina that can't run the football. I mean,
that was incredible. So I don't think coaching changes really work.
But if the Giants. Still, I think Shane's getting it
no matter what after the season, and Davill has got
to show progress with Jackson Dart and if he shows progress, Brady,
(34:01):
you know how that is. And you're you're a big
believer in this keeping stability with the quarterback and keeping
the same system so you can grow in it. So
maybe they make a decision there to say, hey, what.
Speaker 3 (34:10):
Okay, the Giants right now, like including this season, last
two are ten and twenty nine.
Speaker 5 (34:16):
They just lost to Arguab, the worst team in the
league by double digits.
Speaker 2 (34:21):
Like you're looking at it, you're looking at I'm with you, Brady.
Speaker 3 (34:24):
I'm saying I understand what you're saying, but at some point,
as these build up, it gets to the point where
it doesn't even matter.
Speaker 5 (34:32):
You're just like, we need something else.
Speaker 7 (34:34):
Yeah, you're right, No, I agree with you on that,
But I'm just playing the devil's out of your flipsid
because you're a big believer in letting the quarterbacks have
the same system for a couple of years too, So
I know that you believe that strong. On the other
part of that, here's the other part of it. You
know they got the baby LT over there and all
those great pass rushes. How many sacks they had on Sunday? None? Zero,
(34:55):
didn't show up. I mean, you're supposed to be a
team that has guys that just are menacing on the
defensive line, knocking guys on the ground, and they didn't
get a stack on Sunday. That that's me is one
of the biggest disappointments.
Speaker 4 (35:06):
Geez, Pete, get him on X at Prisco, CBS. If
you want some of that smoke, he will provide it.
He is our senior NFL columnist for CBS Sports. CBS

mush nor unlike hold On I go to you've been
to both losses, though I've been to all the wins too. Yeah,
but but you've been to both losses, so that they're
gonna say, LeVar, no, one's mush just like James Franklin,
(35:44):
you need.
Speaker 2 (35:44):
To go oh no. I mean, so you want to
like take parting shots at me and my alma mater,
like that Pete.
Speaker 7 (35:53):
You know I love you, LeVar.
Speaker 2 (35:54):
That's thank you, sir, thank you. I'll allow you get
away with with the whole you know, early early, dropping
the ball, but draw the line with Penn State though, I.

were not pleased with what happened on Friday.
Speaker 3 (37:20):
Well you're lucky.
Speaker 13 (37:21):
I'm not giving you more tee swifty updates. I do
have a good story here though.
Speaker 9 (37:27):
No.
Speaker 13 (37:27):
Fans were very, very worried about Deon Sanders at Colorado's
game against TCU this weekend. He was limping around and
only wearing one shoe. On the sideline of Saturday's game,
Dion spoke out about his current health issues.
Speaker 10 (37:39):
Let's give it a.
Speaker 4 (37:39):
Listen maybe yeah, oh we will.
Speaker 2 (37:44):
It's just say yeah, wow. You know this is your
produced segment. You know this is like you and you,
it's with yours.
Speaker 14 (37:52):
So this this what's going on. I'm not getting blood
more book. Cluck again gets at the bag. All right,
I think I got more. Blok man, it don't make sense.
I'm hurting like crazy. I got the doctor's appointment Monday
to see what time it is. So that's that's what's
going on. I'm not getting blood to my leg. That's
why my leg is dropping.
Speaker 2 (38:12):
Great. Yeah, I hope the best one. Man.
Speaker 4 (38:15):
Geez, he's still out there.
Speaker 5 (38:18):
It's scary, man, Yeah, it is scary, mind you.
Speaker 3 (38:22):
Uh, a little insult injury there at the end of
the game for those of you that had called idot
plus thirteen and a half, throwing a touchdown pass with twenty.
Speaker 5 (38:31):
Some seconds left probably seemed unnecessary.
Speaker 4 (38:35):
That's fun, you know, but hey, you know, keep on gambling.
Speaker 3 (38:39):
Well I was gonna say, there's that and the fact that,
like call on us height kind of started in Fort Worth,
remember that, Remember.
Speaker 2 (38:46):
That that was her opening game.
Speaker 3 (38:47):
Yeah, and so like, I feel like there's a little
bit of red ass there from Sunny.
Speaker 2 (38:51):
Dykes, A little red ass for the Dykes, Sunny Dikes,
that's his name.
Speaker 4 (38:58):
I know.
Speaker 2 (39:03):
You were startled me.
Speaker 4 (39:06):
Loreno what else we got?
Speaker 2 (39:07):
I got a Hawk update for you.
Speaker 13 (39:09):
Remember last weekend two of the Hawks from Sofi's stadium
were stolen on the back of a golf cart. Bubba
has showed up over in Hacienda Heights, thirty one miles
away from Sulfide's stadium. They called and said, hey, there's
a hawk out here. They got their handler and hacienda
and now that bird has been returned. Alice, however, is
still missing, but they were hopeful that these hawk watchers
(39:31):
will find her and she will also be returned.
Speaker 4 (39:33):
Yeah, I got news for you. Alice is on a
grill somewhere.
Speaker 2 (39:35):
No, no, they let them. They let them birds go.
One showed up. One still. Yeah. Debate and if they.
Speaker 4 (39:43):
Were Yeah, on a pant on a plate next to
some carrots and potatoes.
Speaker 2 (39:48):
Save the birds, Save the birds,
