(01:10):
running on this Football Friday, hour three of the program. Here.
By the way, I did see this that was thrown
out by Pro Football Talk and also sent over by
Arnie Spanier, who's a obviously a friend of the program,
a colleague here at Fox Sports Radio, that Tommy Reese
maybe somebody that Michigan might be interested in the Browns

(01:34):
offensive coordinator.

Speaker 3 (01:36):
So I don't know if that it makes sense.

Speaker 4 (01:40):
Seems Midwest Ties also has done a good enough job
for multiple places as an coordinator to bring in someoney
to help develop Bryce Sonder? What is calling plays right
now for the Cleveland Browns Shador Sanders coming off his
best game of his career, pretty damn good game, quite honestly,
watching back the film so I could see it.

Speaker 3 (01:58):
I could see it makes some sense. I mean, their
season is.

Speaker 4 (02:01):
Still ongoing, so you're not gonna be able to hire
him until after the season anyway, they are eliminated from
the playoffs. But you know, one thing to take into
consideration is all the stuff about Marcus Freeman, and if
you know Tommy would want to go to Notre Dame
if if Marcus Freeman left to go take an NFL job,
there's that potential speculation and thought too, So who knows

(02:23):
what they'd end up doing.

Speaker 3 (02:24):
But I'm sure he's gonna be courted for a number
of programs.

Speaker 1 (02:28):
Do you really think there's a chance that Marcus Freeman
could leave Notre Dame Like that's a real.

Speaker 3 (02:34):
Like for the league.

Speaker 5 (02:36):
And I'm not saying that that's that.

Speaker 1 (02:37):
It's not that he's not deserving of it, or that
it wouldn't be a good hire. It's just like I
would I would just be surprised, and we talked a
little bit about this yesterday. I would just be surprised
that he would want to go join, for lack of
a better term, a diaper fire in the NFL, for
the gig that he's got now.

Speaker 3 (02:56):
I just that that part.

Speaker 1 (02:59):
I would wonder if you would look at and go
maybe down the road, But why leave now to get
join a bad organization?

Speaker 3 (03:07):
Yeah, no, it's it's a it's a valid question.

Speaker 4 (03:10):
I would not call the Giants a bad organization the
var you were there, I mean, why would you describe them.

Speaker 3 (03:15):
With the Giants? Yeah?

Speaker 6 (03:17):
I thought they were good, But again, that's not the
same front office that it was when I was there.

Speaker 3 (03:25):
It could have changed since since my time.

Speaker 6 (03:27):
It's the same ownership though, same ownership, but different results.
So I don't you know, foundationally speaking, because of the ownership,
I say yes that it's a good, good organization in
terms of what the people that have taken over the
different roles for for the organization, they've not been obviously

(03:50):
a reflection of how good the ownership and my experiences
would have been.

Speaker 3 (03:55):
This is what I say. Okay, I would say the
ownership drives things.

Speaker 4 (04:01):
I know they've gone through kind of a tough patch,
but I think a lot of that's been connected to
their quarterback position and outside of Daniel Jones one year,
they really haven't had great quarterback play. You know, this
year you're relying on Russell Wilson and then a rookie
and it's just it's tough, and I don't know that
they've had all the pieces either to help that quarterback
succeed outside of Saqua when they had him, which we

(04:23):
can discuss that decision. But I would say it's a
good opportunity, it's a good organization. It's it's a New York,
you know, media market, which if you want that sort
of exposure, it's there for you. So again I go
back to yeah, I think I would think as any
young coach, like look at Lane Kiff and he took
over for the Raiders at a their young age. Has

(04:45):
it impacted his ability to the head coaching job anywhere?
I mean, he was the most sought after head coaching
candidate this offseason. And imagine if it would have waited
a little bit longer, Michigan would have been in that mix,
another big brand. So I I don't I don't think
it hurts you to go test the waters there in
the professional level. I think there still will be that

(05:05):
college football job waiting for you. And you know, sometimes
you've got you've got to feel good about the situation
going into I mean maybe some of that decision has
to do with the quarterback that he's got there. I Mean,
the one thing I'll say about what he has a
notre name is he's got a quarterback. And he's got
a room of quarterbacks that even after CJ. Carr, I
think are guys who are first round, you know, caliber

(05:27):
type guys. So I mean CJ. Carr to me, will
be at the number one overall pick. I'm just telling you,
I think that's how good he is. And this isn't biased,
Like go watch, go put on the film, go talk
to anyone who's evaluated him. I mean Tom Brady, you know,
got some time to watch him this year. He's like,
all right, this kid like he's that good in his
first year, starting as a freshman. So you know, if

(05:50):
you leave you kind of you got to feel good
about Jackson Dart then what his future means there, because
you're leaving a guy who I think is going to
help lead you to the playoff next year, potentially a
national championship at a lot of good things in the cooker.

Speaker 3 (06:05):
I think they're at Notre Dame.

Speaker 1 (06:07):
Earlier this week, athletic director People of Aqua was talking
about Marcus Freeman and just sort of the interest and
the appeal that there is for Marcus Freeman.

Speaker 3 (06:18):
We do well, we didn't have the sound are we
do have it? All right, We're good to go. All right,
So here was the Notre Dame ad.

Speaker 7 (06:26):
I make sure that he knows that he will be
where he deserves to be, and that is at the top, top,
top tier of college football coaches. When it comes to compensation,
every year, I view his contract, although a multi year contract,
is a living, breathing document that we will revise every
year as need be to make sure he's where he

(06:47):
deserves to be. He knows he has that commitment from
me and more importantly from the university.

Speaker 1 (06:52):
That's pretty clear cut. It doesn't seem like like that's
a guy that want to want to let out of
the building.

Speaker 4 (06:58):
So no, no, And I think every year that's kind
of the new way of addressing the head coaching position
at most schools, especially when you've got a guy you
feel good about, is every year you're renewing, you know,
they're either going to be adding on something, adding on
a year, maybe it's additional compensation. It feels like when
you've got a guy who's successful, in order to keep them,
keep them happy, that's how it kind of has to work,

(07:21):
you know. And I know that sounds crazy to people,
but the truth is you do with the players too.
That's that's what this is. At the college football level.
You know, at least they elimitate to one transfer portal window.
But nowadays, if you look at what's happening with players,
they play one year under whatever contract they agree to.
What do you think their agent or parents or even

(07:42):
the player sometimes is saying to the coach after they
had a good year, I want to be paid more.
I mean The only reason it doesn't really happen in
the NFL quite as much is because you know, for
the most part, there's a there's a CBA that's in place,
whereas if they start acting out, they're gonna get fined
and their pocket's gonna be hit. That's not the case

(08:05):
in college football right now. If a player wants to
throw attention, wants to not show up, wants to do
certain things like I can find I mean, they might
not earn out some of what's in that contract for
that one year, but they can go become a free
agent and someone else is gonna pay.

Speaker 3 (08:19):
Them, and probably a premium.

Speaker 4 (08:21):
I mean, the niko Ia Maliava stuff was a little
bit odd because he ended up probably sacrificing whatever amount
of money he was going to make and making lesson UCLA.
But it was also bad timing and the way it
played out didn't have much leverage at that point.

Speaker 6 (08:36):
I don't know, man, I feel like Marcus Freeman is
a hot commodity, and it'd be interesting to see if
somebody values it and views it as the value being
worth it to actually go that hard to pull him,
try to pull him away from there, you know, and
is it again. For me, I look at it like

(08:58):
is it worth it? Like if I'm looking at the
New York Giants job, is it worth it to leave
to go do it? You know, it is very difficult
to get those jobs, but.

Speaker 3 (09:08):
To your point, it's only thirty two of them.

Speaker 4 (09:10):
Right to your point, though, I think the biggest difference
is too And you guys can see this pretty clearly.
I think most fans can power. How much power do
you have when you go to an NFL team? I mean,
you're always going to be under the owner. You're always
going to be potentially working with a general manager or
could be a president of operations. There's someone who could
be above you beyond that, and there's a general manager

(09:33):
who could be or you could be working with that
you're on a level playing field with, but they're not
giving you what you need as a coach. When you
were a head coach in college football, you were arguably
the most powerful person at that institution and maybe.

Speaker 3 (09:46):
Even in that state. I mean, you have a governor of.

Speaker 4 (09:50):
Louisiana, Paula, ticking about the head coach at LSU, and
now it's Lane Kiffin with a boatload of money, And
you think that guy is going to be able to
persuade anyone he I mean in the entire state.

Speaker 1 (10:05):
I bet that was part of the appeal for Belichick
with North Carolina because it was more similar to what
he had in New England than he was going to
get anywhere else in the NFL. Not that there were
other opportunities, but that was part of the pushback from
Atlanta that he wasn't going to sure.

Speaker 3 (10:17):
He can't bring his girlfriend along. That's true, that is true.

Speaker 1 (10:22):
You know, you gotta have something with you at all
times if forget to take that game.

Speaker 4 (10:25):
By the way, Calshy update, Mike McCarthy is now the
betting odds on favorite. It's between him, Jeff Hafley and
Marcus Freeman. Which it's interesting, you know, Jeff Hafley, who
is viewed in NFL circles like good guys, smart NFL
or excuse me, defensive mind, you know, but the head
coaching experience of BC didn't go overly well, so kind

(10:47):
of odd.

Speaker 3 (10:48):
I'm not really sure the connection there.

Speaker 1 (10:49):
But you know what, I've wondered about some of these
college because there's college coaches that are rumored to be Hey,
you know, if they wanted to go to the NFL.
That would be a guy that would make How do
you get that reputation? Because Matt Campbell had it for years?
That was a quote unquote NFL guy. Pat Fitzgerald had it,
Marcus Freeman's got it, you know, like, uh, just Matt

(11:11):
Ruhle had it. And that's why you know he was
given the deal from the Panthers because the Giants wanted
to hire him too. Like, how do you get that
reputation as a college coach that, oh, that too could
work in the NFL? How does that happen? Because some
guys have that and then other guys don't. That are
that are successful head coaches at the college level.

Speaker 4 (11:29):
I think it's a different set of skills that works
at the NFL level versus college you know, college again,
because of the power you have, you really, i mean
we're seeing now more oftentimes being a CEO type wins,
being able to recruit, being able to raise funds for
nil and really you know, facilities, everything else that goes
along with that and being the face of it. And

(11:51):
then meanwhile, just like you're letting your coaches coach, letting
them go recruit, you know, letting them you know, evaluate
the roster for how they're going to help construct the
raw with that general manager now in the front office
perspective of it. Oftentimes that skill set works. When you
get to the NFL level, you have to be unbelievable

(12:12):
at scheme because it's a game of matchups. It's all
about how you go about scheming up to get those matchups.
So to me, it's like a unless you're one of
those like brilliant defensive offensive minds where you can at
least hold down that side of the ball and then
hire someone who can hold down the other side of
the ball, and we're you know, work with special teams

(12:33):
as well. It's just hard man Like I think, if
you named off some of the best coaches out there,
usually they've got a calling card and that's what they're
damn good.

Speaker 3 (12:42):
At, at least at the NFL level.

Speaker 1 (12:47):
I was thinking about this when it came to the
situation with Sharon Moore, who, by the way, I believe
is being arraigned later on today. If I would have
told you to move quickly, if I would have told
you that at the conclusion of Ohio State Michigan a
couple of weeks ago, less than two weeks ago, if

(13:07):
I would have told you, I'll, by the way, in
a little over a week or yeah, just a little
over a week, Ohio State's gonna lose to Indiana and
Sharon Moore is going to get arrested after allegedly impregnating
a staffer, like which.

Speaker 3 (13:21):
We about before the season.

Speaker 4 (13:23):
If I was to tell you Penn State's going to
fire their head coach, Indiana's going to win the Big Ten,
and char Moore is going to be fired slash arrested,
the three biggest.

Speaker 3 (13:36):
Brands in the Big like.

Speaker 4 (13:38):
A house State's gonna lose in the end of the
Big Ten. Like if you'd have said all of that,
you'd be like, no chance.

Speaker 5 (13:42):
What what kind of payout would that be on a parlay?

Speaker 3 (13:45):
Like a bajillion dollars a number that's not even like real.

Speaker 1 (13:50):
Good god man, I'm nothing to laugh at.

Speaker 5 (13:57):
But it's just a wild.

Speaker 1 (13:59):
Set of of that have taken place just in that
in that conference alone, in the last week plus, based.

Speaker 3 (14:07):
On how everything has gone.

Speaker 1 (14:08):
So, I mean, you know, we'll see what what Michigan's
going because Michigan's got a bowl game coming up on
what the thirty first. I think I think they're Bowl
games coming up end of this month, so I can't
imagine would they have a new coach by the time
the bowl game rules around or they is this a
wait until afterwards?

Speaker 4 (14:28):
Well they get through, I think you do a normal search,
because they didn't do that obviously have to after Harball
give them the Timmy when he left and Shroan more filling.

Speaker 3 (14:37):
In earlier that year. It kind of made a natural
fit of just letting him continue continue on it as.

Speaker 4 (14:42):
The head coach. But you know, Biff Pog's taken over
for now. He did earlier this year, so they've got
experience with him the real questions and be like, what
what team do you field? You know, you don't know
who the head coach is going to be, so you
don't have the opportunity yet to opt out at least
until the permanent head coach is announced or the January
second window comes. That's more of the window I think

(15:04):
for me, where if you're in Michigan, you'd like to
get it done before then because whether or not you
hire that guy like, that window is going to become open,
and so then you're going to have the opportunity for
anyone to leave who wants to, so you probably want
to get it done before then give you know, give
your new head coach the chance to retain some of
these guys and a vision of what it is, or

(15:25):
reload the roster if you have a bunch of guys
who don't want to.

Speaker 3 (15:27):
Play for that guy.

Speaker 4 (15:29):
So I think that January second dat or I believe
that's the window for when the portal opens. That is,
it's an imperative that they kind of time this hiring
up somewhere within that, you know, even after they hire
the permanent head coach, there's that like fifteen day period
after than five days, so it falls within all of that.

(15:49):
That's how I would try to structure this. But there's
some concern over you know, Ward manually whether or not
he should be the guy to help with the next
head coaching search, even though you know, again he elevated
on more to that position, he didn't really have the
chance to.

Speaker 3 (16:02):
Do a formal search. So I'm not really sure.

Speaker 4 (16:05):
How you're I don't know, giving him credit or you know,
knocking him for that.

Speaker 3 (16:11):
But that's that's how I would handle it if I
was in Michigan.

Speaker 1 (16:14):
There's been a lot of uh lot of stuff that's
happened since he's been there.

Speaker 3 (16:17):
That's uh like, well, you.

Speaker 4 (16:19):
Know, yeah, let me put it this way. I saw
him Tuesday night. That made Wednesdays Wednesday's tuesdas shocking, Wow, shocking, Okay,
right in front of you. Uh yeah, yeah, I mean
we were we were at the same dinner and uh again,

(16:41):
you would have never known this was gonna happen in
the next twenty four hours.

Speaker 3 (16:47):
Uh, it's interesting.

Speaker 4 (16:50):
I mean it could have been some of the spicy
food I ate the night before. But I almost shot
myself just with some of that news. I was so
shocked by that.

Speaker 5 (16:58):
Oh we had to du that.

Speaker 3 (17:01):
What how did you see it? Where did you say it? Wait?
Isn't that? Isn't that? Doesn't it count? Count? Where? How'd
you know it got dumped? Saw?

Speaker 1 (17:10):
I saw Patrick going to Okay, Patrick shot he did
it again? Doesn't he count? You can't hit it that quickly?

Speaker 3 (17:26):
Why does that count?

Speaker 8 (17:29):
Isn't that derived from from from that word?

Speaker 5 (17:33):
That's a different line.

Speaker 3 (17:34):
I thought we were in a safe space here. Apparently not.
Oh it's added there. It's for you. Were you are
the judge on this? Is that? Is that a dumb
able phrise.

Speaker 6 (17:43):
And my and my estimation it is not a dumpable
offense because you changed it enough. But to the point
of of you guys back there, it's close enough where
it could go to you know, ination better. It's a
better safe than sorry word. If I were, if I

(18:05):
were judging it, I would say, you're fine. But someone
else could see it differently within the rules, within the
way of the rules. Because of the way the context
in which you used it, and it being as close
as it is to it's maybe not far enough away
from the word that you use.

Speaker 1 (18:23):
It doesn't make me think any less of you as
a broadcaster, I'll put it that way.

Speaker 6 (18:27):
I mean, I thought it was creatively done, just you know,
But I would just say and and if you were
using it differently in a different context, it wouldn't even
be a for debate. But because of the context in
which it was used and how close in nature it is,
it would probably be safer to dump it.

Speaker 1 (18:47):
It's a shame that Patrick wouldn't let you, uh spread
your wings a little bit there, you know.

Speaker 3 (18:52):
I mean, I thought it was a good stick. I
thought I thought it was good you know.

Speaker 1 (18:58):
You know, I had to do what I had to
do boys if something tells me. If it was LeVar,
Patrick would have.

Speaker 3 (19:03):
Let it go.

Speaker 6 (19:04):
Oh I know, Patrick, minute, but I wouldn't have said it.
That's that's I thought. It's okay, Jeff. Doesn't mean I
would have used it. It's okay for your toe to
line or put your pinky toe your toenail over it.

Speaker 3 (19:19):
I'm not Brady Quinn. I toe that line. They're going
to call me.

Speaker 1 (19:23):
If LeVar said it, Patrick would have let it go.
Like that's that's how I wait a minute, all right.

Speaker 6 (19:28):
But the big difference here is I might have got
a call from somebody else, like you can't say that,
you LeVar.

Speaker 3 (19:34):
You do know you can't say that on air.

Speaker 1 (19:36):
You know.

Speaker 3 (19:37):
Oh stop, I think there's a I think it's a
greater there's a greater like to it it.

Speaker 4 (19:43):
Actually they let it slide, like, oh, you know LeVar,
he says crazy stuff all the time.

Speaker 6 (19:48):
That's not when you go across the line of scrimmage though,
before the ball is not.

Speaker 4 (19:54):
That's because here's what we're not and I we're acknowledging
tried to get it. We're not acknowledged that Patty Sweet
is now set a pressing. This is my first dump
with pat and I feel like it was rather conservative.

Speaker 3 (20:07):
It was Mark.

Speaker 6 (20:08):
It was Mark, and Mark went say he went for
the second time to oh, no, you're.

Speaker 3 (20:12):
Going back to Patty.

Speaker 2 (20:14):
It was you.

Speaker 3 (20:15):
Who was it? That's all the way straight? Did you
see it?

Speaker 9 (20:20):
Smile?

Speaker 3 (20:21):
Drop off of it?

Speaker 8 (20:23):
I heard I heard that term in a movie, so
I was okay with it.

Speaker 3 (20:27):
Yeah, heard that came Polly.

Speaker 5 (20:32):
You know what he Mark? That's at south Side Chicago.
You got in your blood, That's what that is.

Speaker 6 (20:37):
Yeah, Patrick's what's by the way, seeing it in a movie.
You can use profanity in movies, by the way, it
depends on the rating. Yeah, that's very true. But Along
Came Polly, you could use that term and it would
have been acceptable. That's all I'm saying, Patty, I'm okay
with you.

Speaker 3 (20:55):
But it was a tad bit.

Speaker 1 (20:57):
It was.

Speaker 3 (20:59):
By the way.

Speaker 4 (21:00):
For those who don't know about Along Came Polly, that's
a two thousand and four rom com with Jennifer Aniston
and Ben Stiller.

Speaker 3 (21:08):
It was not thirteen though, I'll tell you it was
PG thirteen. No, yes, it was. It was a PG
thirteen movie. Times changed. Are you for a scooba?

Speaker 2 (21:19):
Yeah?

Speaker 3 (21:19):
He was walking butt, cheeks out, it doesn't matter.

Speaker 4 (21:23):
Cheeks are allowed. Cheeks are allowed, Cheeks are allowed, no
franken beans. Cheeks are allowed, and no areolas. You can't
show those either.

Speaker 3 (21:35):
That's it. Well, it goes. You can say that it's
a body parts are you can say that. Now now
we're we're going overboard here.

Speaker 8 (21:47):
That that work.

Speaker 3 (21:50):
I think you need to double check on this. But
here's what we found out. Patty is a conservative guy.
Apparently Jonas is close to I mean, he's sitting there.

Speaker 6 (22:01):
He used areolas in the proper context, in the proper
context is fine. If he had used it in a
different context, then ariolas would have been it would have
been not not proper.

Speaker 5 (22:11):
To you with you And we've said ariola so many
times now that.

Speaker 6 (22:15):
I mean, because if you say ariola's then you know.
But but at the end of the day, it is
a proper term. It's a medical term and it's a
part of your your anatomy, like that's it is what
it is. By the way, along King poly Is Pg. Thirteen.

Speaker 3 (22:29):
That's crazy. I know I said that. No, No, I
was a very I was. I was like, I got you.

Speaker 6 (22:34):
I'm not I'm saying parental guidance. I don't know, like
in terms of old school thinking PG thirteen. To me,
there's no type of sexual acts or anything. And they
clearly were flopping and rolling like they didn't show it
when when they were on the boat, the scuba boat,
but you could hear it, you know, And then I

(22:55):
know what you're saying. And he saw those flippers were
clopping and he did see them like they did show them.
And then you know, and that even though they were
covered up.

Speaker 1 (23:04):
You want to know a movie that really shows that
times are different. The original Bad News Bears, well, boy,
they were dropping every slur you could think of, my.

Speaker 5 (23:13):
God, every well, every race and by the way, everybody got.

Speaker 4 (23:18):
To Lvar's point. PG thirteen was different twenty one years ago. Yeah,
you know, you go watch old movies that are PG.
I'm like, oh gosh, I can't believe they let that
happen back then. And PG meaning parental guidance guidance.

Speaker 6 (23:31):
Yeah, so if it's PG thirteen, I guess nowadays it's
okay for thirteen year olds to be you know, sex
is normalized, I guess is what it means. That's kind
of crazy to me, it's nuts ring I didn't think
that that Pg. Thirteen says, like to me, that's non
any non type of acts that way or anything that

(23:52):
would be along that line. Otherwise, you have your parental
there to say close your eyes or cover up your ear,
or look look.

Speaker 3 (24:01):
Away or you know, whatever it may be. I mean,
that's the guidance of it all. Yeah. Man, I just
didn't think Patti Swee would take that approach. But here
we are, well, here we are.

Speaker 2 (24:10):
I had to.

Speaker 3 (24:11):
I'm sorry. I don't know that you had to. LeVar
Sanya didn't. Maybe I didn't have gone. It could have gone.

Speaker 5 (24:18):
It'll be on the podcast.

Speaker 6 (24:19):
We know that.

Speaker 3 (24:20):
Yeah, I definitely will.

Speaker 1 (24:21):
I'll be there for anybody wondering what was the word
why Panics Week all of a sudden stuff?

Speaker 6 (24:26):
No, no, god, no, no, oh no, I mean twice too,
by the way, I mean that was right back to
back dump dump.

Speaker 3 (24:42):
I thought it was okay. No one told me I
got dumped. Yeah, yeah, so good, well, hey, let's get
to the break.

Speaker 4 (24:48):
Not really, I was surprised this based on Tuesday Nights events.
I mean, see what happened Wednesday. It was very surprising.

Speaker 1 (24:57):
Within context, I felt like it was okay, yeah, I
didn't tell, but you know, Patty was there on the assist.
And by the way, every goal starts with an assist
on and off the field. That's why Haleyon and US
Soccer are launching for the Assist, a celebration of everyday
acts to support that help people achieve their goals with

Speaker 3 (28:44):
But right now it's time for this.

Speaker 2 (28:47):
Oh five lines, not those kind of lines. Five picks,
five spreads, Time for picks against the spread.

Speaker 1 (28:59):
Do we need a little refresher as to where the
season standings are at?

Speaker 3 (29:02):
Following I don't even care. Oh yeah, I got you
guys covered. I got you covered. Lvar. I'll sort off
with you, sir, since you brought it up.

Speaker 4 (29:09):
The fine gentleman, mister one, LeVar Eddington is standing at
forty five and.

Speaker 3 (29:16):
Fifty okay, close year so far I closed it five hundred.
I'm closing in on it.

Speaker 4 (29:23):
Jonas who is a little closer to five hundred than
new He's at thirty eight and thirty nine, and then
I'm sitting at fifty three and thirty three. Now we
should know there's a differences in the picks because we
give two points for a money line win and minus
two for a money line loss.

Speaker 3 (29:39):
Right, So that's where we're at. Oh good, all right, fifteen,
let's go boys.

Speaker 8 (29:45):
That's all right, it's tom let's go. So I got
a first one on the board here. We got the
Baltimore Ravens. That's right, thank you, mighty Mark.

Speaker 1 (29:55):
There.

Speaker 8 (29:56):
So Ravens are two and a half point of favorites
on the road. They're taking on the Bengals here, let's
go first on the board here, Jonas, what you got?

Speaker 1 (30:06):
Oh my god? Both are finished. But I'm gonna I'm
gonna take Cincinnati. I think a little wake up call
for Joe Burrow. I think he's looking around, he's bummed out, he's,
you know, not happy with where things are at.

Speaker 5 (30:24):
But I think he's gonna go out there.

Speaker 1 (30:26):
I think he's gonna deal and I think he's gonna
will his team to a win over Baltimore.

Speaker 8 (30:30):
Give me Cincinnati, Okay, Jonas, all right, Jones.

Speaker 5 (30:35):
What about money line? Matt by the way too, Okay.

Speaker 3 (30:37):
I'm a double. Oh I'm gonna double that money line.

Speaker 5 (30:40):
We're playing this little nickel and dime gambling.

Speaker 3 (30:43):
I was waiting to see if he was going to
say money line I'm money lining in it. Okay, all right, cool,
I'm a bit torn here.

Speaker 4 (30:50):
Lamar Jackson's dealing with some nagging injuries. The defense for
Baltimore this year hasn't been quite up to snuff. But
the lack of fun and joy for Joe Burrow, that's
also in the back of my mind. This reminds me
of like we see one of those cats that's like
under a couch or whatever, and you're like, all right,
come out here, come out here, a little kitty, and
it's like kind of, you know, I think it's paw
you know, it's kind of pawing at you, a little
bit slow, playfully pawing, and the next thing, you know,

(31:13):
it's like, you know, and it just it's scratched in
the face. That's what the Bengals are going to be.
Money line Bengals.

Speaker 8 (31:20):
Let's go yeah, okay, okay, cue, all right, we are
we are on the same page, well on the same
page here we have game number two and that is
all right, yes, sir. We have the Los Angeles Chargers
taking on the Kansas City Chiefs, who are home. By
the way, Chiefs are in fact five and a half

(31:43):
point favorites. Let's go with Brady. You get to go
first on this one.

Speaker 3 (31:48):
Oh boy, a.

Speaker 4 (31:51):
Team that's reeling can't seem to figure it out. Gutsy
win for the Chargers last week. I'm gonna take the
Chargers and the points here. I think Kansas City still
could win it, but it would be close, So I'll
take the underdog Chargers on.

Speaker 3 (32:09):
I know the Chiefs don't have much room for Ayer.

Speaker 1 (32:11):
So.

Speaker 3 (32:13):
I'm on you lining, I'm taking the Chargers money line.

Speaker 1 (32:17):
Oh wow wow, all right, I will take the Kansas
City Chiefs minus five and a half here. The Chargers
are on a short week and if there's one thing
the Chargers do is always fall flat after a big win.

Speaker 3 (32:32):
They did it a couple of weeks ago when they.

Speaker 1 (32:34):
Beat the Steelers and put them in a clown suit
on Sunday Night football, and then they rolled around the
next week and got embarrassed in a debacle in Jacksonville.
I think it's gonna play out again like that here.
I'm gonna take the Chiefs minus five and a.

Speaker 3 (32:47):
Half here at all?

Speaker 8 (32:48):
Okay, Jonas, all right, I'll like all the picks. I
like to even the money line for LeVar on that one.
Let's go all right, So number three on the board, gentlemen,
we have thank you mighty all right, So we have
the Buffalo Bills on the road as a one and
a half point favorite, taken on Mike Vrabel's new England Patriots.

Speaker 3 (33:14):
Who's the favorite the Bills?

Speaker 8 (33:15):
The Bills are one and a half point famous var
you get to go first.

Speaker 3 (33:18):
Now I'm going to money line the Patriots. There he
goes money line.

Speaker 4 (33:27):
If you notice LeVar, he's backed by a big, big
percentage here, So he's trying to go through a lot
of money lines, trying to climb back up, like why.

Speaker 1 (33:35):
Should you get extra credit for a one and a
half point spread?

Speaker 4 (33:38):
Oh my gosh, dude, you have the same opportunity. It'd
be one thing if you're at a disadvantage.

Speaker 3 (33:42):
But you can take it too.

Speaker 5 (33:43):
I do this on the up and up.

Speaker 1 (33:44):
You guys are going to be like those guys during
the steroid era who are and I'm the one guy
doing it clean. I may not make as many All
star teams, but you know what, at least second say I.

Speaker 6 (33:54):
Did it the right way after I should be ten
dollars man for what's past.

Speaker 3 (33:58):
He's going to pick the Patriots line.

Speaker 5 (34:00):
Go Jonas, I got the bills minus one and a half.

Speaker 6 (34:04):
I just think that was very passive. You say all
that and do all that before you make your pay.
It's ridiculous.

Speaker 5 (34:10):
I'm getting attacked. I'm gonna take the bills.

Speaker 6 (34:13):
That's another ten dollars. What do you mean you're getting attacked?
What exactly do you mean by that? Let me take
some you keep finding me. I'm not gonna have money
for Tamali's Okay, wipe off, that's fair, pla. Tomali's deliberate.

Speaker 5 (34:34):
I got the bills.

Speaker 1 (34:35):
I think Buffalo is a sneaky team, and I think
there's a little revenge factor here, and New England's been
off for a while. I think the Bills are going
to catch him here in this spot. I'll think Buffalo.

Speaker 8 (34:45):
Alrighty, Buffalo for mister Jonas Knox. All right, number four
we have cute hold hold up, that's right.

Speaker 3 (34:55):
Wow, I'm gonna take the Buffalo Bills in this one. Yeah,
So I'm with Jonas.

Speaker 4 (35:01):
I think they win this one outright, but obviously that
they covered by more than the one and a half here.

Speaker 8 (35:07):
Thank you so much, Brady. I'm so sorry for that.
Number four we have thank you mighty. So we have
the green Bay Packers on the road taking on the
Denver Broncos in Denver, Packers are two and a half
point favorites, and Brady, since I cut you off so
rudely last time, you get to go first this time.

Speaker 3 (35:24):
This is a funny line for me. The Broncos obviously
have been a really good team this entire year.

Speaker 4 (35:28):
However, it feels like they've always taken fourth quarter, last minute.

Speaker 3 (35:32):
Heroics in order to win.

Speaker 4 (35:34):
I just I don't like the matchup for this Broncos
team versus the Packers. I'm gonna go ahead and lay
the two and a half points here with the Packers.

Speaker 8 (35:44):
Okay, next up, we got Jonas, go for it.

Speaker 1 (35:47):
I'm gonna money line the Denver Broncos. I think Denver
at home, green Bay coming off a big divisional win
last week in a rivalry game, maybe a little bit
of a letdown.

Speaker 5 (35:58):
I think Denver gets this done here.

Speaker 3 (36:00):
I'm gonna take the Broncos and finally, var Yeah, money
line in the Broncos. Yeah.

Speaker 4 (36:08):
We could probably just say LaVar is gonna money line
the rest of the season, probably to get back in
this day. He's gonna get one to two directions. He's
gonna fall flatter, He's gonna have the money line his
way back.

Speaker 3 (36:19):
There you go.

Speaker 8 (36:20):
Well, we do have one final game left of the
of the pigs here and it is ah right, So
we have the Detroit Lions on the road going to
La out here against the Rams. Rams are six point favorites. Gentlemen, Jonas,
you get to go first.

Speaker 1 (36:39):
I'll take the Lions getting six points. I don't think
they're gonna win the game, or I'll tide money line it.
But I like Detroit here. They've played the Rams really
well since Jared Goff has been there. I don't I
don't know that the Rams had beaten them since Goff's
been with Detroit. So I'm gonna take Detroit here in
this spot getting six points.

Speaker 8 (36:59):
Var you get to get next.

Speaker 3 (37:02):
Money lining.

Speaker 5 (37:03):
What do you?

Speaker 3 (37:04):
Money line.

Speaker 4 (37:06):
Is the money line and mister Quinn, I will also
take Detroit and these six points.

Speaker 3 (37:14):
Uh, I think they can keep.

Speaker 4 (37:14):
This thing close, if not outright win it. But I'll
go ahead and take the cushion there. So uh, Detroit
plus six.

Speaker 3 (37:21):
There we go. There's our our picks against the spread.
We didn't even need music f that. Yeah, it a.

Speaker 1 (37:30):
By the way, Sesame Street helped raise all of us.
Now it's our turn donate this holiday season at Sesame
dot org because the world needs Sesame and you know
what Sesame needs you.

Time to find out what's left Tons Incredibles.

Speaker 3 (39:58):
Here's the left over.

Speaker 5 (40:00):
All right, Patty speaks, what do we got?

Speaker 1 (40:01):
All?

Speaker 9 (40:02):
Right?

Speaker 8 (40:02):
So this story is actually near and dear to my
heart and the sweek of family. So a signed upper
deck Kobe Bryant card actually fetches one point Kobe at
a recent auction. Guys, it was a twenty two thousand
and three, two thousand and four, that type of a

(40:23):
Kobe card. It sold for one point twenty two at
this recent auction. And honestly, me and my family, like
me and my dad, one of our favorite pastimes we
do card collecting, Like you know, we'll open up some
tops chromes for NFL stuff. We have like I want
to say, four or five like Kobe rookie cards. We
haven't graded them yet, but we're gonna at some point.
They're they're in minkin dish.

Speaker 5 (40:44):
Why don't you sling a couple of those? Make a
few bucks.

Speaker 3 (40:47):
Yeah, we might. We got we got it.

Speaker 8 (40:49):
We're gonna grade and see, uh see how much that
could possibly go for. That might help.

Speaker 3 (40:54):
I'm just curious.

Speaker 6 (40:55):
I have a pair of game warn Kobe Bryant shoes,
hey yo, that he signed to me, and I just
wonder what that what that would what that would auction for.

Speaker 3 (41:05):
I was curious. It's got to be pretty high. They've
just been in storage.

Speaker 5 (41:10):
I've seen so the highest one.

Speaker 4 (41:12):
He smelled them by the way I wore them. I
wore them so like it wouldn't just be Kobe's foot
over there would be years as well.

Speaker 3 (41:19):
Yes, I wore them. I put them.

Speaker 4 (41:24):
It's like, I actually think you shouldn't admit that because
I think that devalues them. Why because you're not supposed
to wear game war and stuff. It's a collector's item.

Speaker 3 (41:33):
I didn't wear them out. I just wore them. Just
try them on, like in your house.

Speaker 6 (41:40):
Yeah, I mean, you know how somebody said you never
know what it's like to be somebody until you spent
the day in their shoes.

Speaker 3 (41:50):
My god, Oh my god, that's what they mean. I
tried them on.

Speaker 6 (41:56):
It, I stood up.

Speaker 2 (41:58):
I'm good.

Speaker 5 (41:59):
I did it to set up felt confident shoe.

Speaker 3 (42:01):
Say he's a fourteen?

Speaker 8 (42:03):
Did you feel like Kbe?

Speaker 3 (42:05):
Did you feel like Kobe in that moment?

Speaker 6 (42:06):
For I don't think so, But I felt way more
insignificant when I did it with shack shoes, you know,
like like put your put your foot in my shoe
and hurt your toe back kicking. You know, like, yeah too,
his shoe is so far away from where my big
toe is to where the end of the shoe is.
I would never, you know, hit my toe off the faro.

Speaker 5 (42:32):
Would you sell that those Kobe?

Speaker 6 (42:34):
I have Kobe's shoes. I have Vince Carter's shoes. I
have Kevin Garnett's shoe game. These are all game warns. Hey, y'all,
let me know what y'all willing to pay. If y'all
go seven figures, I'll think about it.

Speaker 3 (42:48):
Hit me up. Why stop at seven?

Speaker 6 (42:49):
I mean, if you're willing to pay anything more than
eight figures, hit me up.

Speaker 3 (42:55):
Is that good, Patty? Why not go even higher? I
got Michael Jordan's game. Will LeVar is going to quit
the show if he gets eight figures from one of us.
I got Lebron's rookie jersey.

Speaker 2 (43:06):
I mean.

Speaker 3 (43:07):
Hit me up, y'all, I got I got the goods
for you. Happy, Happy weekend.
