Speaker 3 (01:28):
Pete, good morning.
Speaker 4 (01:30):
What's up guys?
Speaker 3 (01:30):
How are you h Can you dance?
Speaker 5 (01:32):
Pete?
Speaker 4 (01:34):
Can I dance?
Speaker 2 (01:34):
Yeah?
Speaker 3 (01:35):
Like, are you like a floor dancing, like dance with
your wife type of dancer? Can you like dance like
just singularly individually? Can you dance? Okay? Do you ever?
Speaker 4 (01:44):
I mean, look, if I'm at a bar or something
that I'm having a nightclub or something, amazing drinks on dances.
But other than that answer question, knowing you've got like
the seventies type dancing skills.
Speaker 2 (01:56):
You know what I'm saying.
Speaker 6 (01:57):
I've seen Pete do enough for you like that maybe
disco era Okay, snap your fingers and move your hips, yes, yeah, all.
Speaker 4 (02:08):
Dances where you used to like spin them in everything
and do all that. Yeah, like John Travolta back and
turning fever. Could I do that? Sure?
Speaker 3 (02:15):
Cut? Oh wow?
Speaker 4 (02:17):
Not good at I'm not good at it.
Speaker 3 (02:20):
Okay, but you know what.
Speaker 4 (02:21):
Most people aren't good at They just think they are.
Speaker 3 (02:24):
I felt like you would be a more unique, distinguished
dude if you would have said that you could dance,
like really well, like LeVar, I'm really good at it,
Like would dance you under a table, you know? But sorry,
I was only wishing for it though.
Speaker 4 (02:40):
That's you dance? Can you dance, LeVar?
Speaker 3 (02:42):
I'm a two stepper. I'm a two stepper. I have rhythm.
I can't. I have rhythm. I like to move to
reggae music more than anything else. Uh not not a
ballroom type of guy, don't don't want to What does
that look like when you reggae music? You'd have to
be there. It's like in the.
Speaker 2 (03:01):
Whole time, you know.
Speaker 4 (03:01):
I mean, yeah, that's all he does. He sways, and
they think that's it's not swaying.
Speaker 3 (03:06):
It's it's like more of a like kind of stuff
I got going on, kind of sort of kind of
sort of because it could be Brady.
Speaker 4 (03:14):
Brady, I see you saying, oh I don't want to dance.
That's kind of chilly to get up and shake a round.
Speaker 3 (03:18):
I think Brady is way too stiff to be a
good dance That's what I would think.
Speaker 2 (03:23):
I don't believe I break it out what I need
to right.
Speaker 3 (03:27):
I don't know that what happened.
Speaker 2 (03:29):
I would have to see it.
Speaker 4 (03:31):
Here's the thing. If everybody's having a few, if everybody's
out having a few drinks and you're you're dancing, then
you think you're good anyway, and you probably I mean,
that's the reality of it. You're probably not. That's most people.
Speaker 3 (03:41):
That's what big crowds of people.
Speaker 4 (03:44):
Yeah, I guarantee you levarn. When you're dancing, you think
you're swaying to the reggae music. You look like an idiot,
but you think you're good.
Speaker 3 (03:50):
Well, here's the reason why. Here's the reason why I'd
say that you're incorrect. Because usually when I was doing that,
I was behind this big tookest and I just kept
up with that. That was the rhythm of the tukns
is what gave me that. It was the Yeah, that
was the rhythm maker. Like I stayed behind the rhythm maker,
and as long as I could keep up with the
(04:10):
rhythm of the rhythm maker, I knew I had rhythm.
So there you go. All right.
Speaker 6 (04:15):
At the transition football, I will ask you this general
question to kick things off. What was the biggest surprise
in the NFL this past weekend?
Speaker 4 (04:28):
Biggest surprise that Philip Rivers was capable of throwing the football,
even it was only six yards per pass or whatever
it was. I mean at forty four years old, coming
off the scrap heap, at his age and not playing
in five years, that that to me was surprising. He
was better than I thought he would be. Brady, how
(04:50):
long's it been to two plays?
Speaker 2 (04:53):
Twenty fourteen, so it's been about eleven years.
Speaker 4 (04:55):
Could you go throw a pass right now?
Speaker 2 (04:57):
And I could do I could do what he did.
Speaker 4 (05:00):
You could do what he did. I mean he didn't
throw the ball down the field, right, but still, I.
Speaker 2 (05:04):
Mean he made the Reids.
Speaker 4 (05:05):
He made the Reids after being I mean, look, that
was surprising to me. It was better than I thought.
And the fact that they competed that game that was
a little surprising. But I mean I thought, I thought,
I don't think they're good, and I don't think he
was great, but that he was capable, which was which
surprised me. God, I didn't think he would be.
Speaker 3 (05:25):
Well, do you think that the Dallas Cowboys is the
worst good team in the league? Like they seem like
they're actually a good team, Like they should be a
good team, Like they should be winning, but they don't win.
Like do you get like or do you just look
at him like this is a team that can't win,
versus have any other you know, opinion towards him. But
(05:47):
I just come away from watching those games like this
is a really good team. I just don't understand how
they can finish games.
Speaker 4 (05:53):
Yeah, but they've had so many injuries, and then the
defense was a mess to start the season. Then they
got those guys back, and they got Quinton william and
you know, got overshone back, and the defense started playing better,
and then the offensive line got banged up, and it
just seems to be they just seemed to be off
this year, and just when you think they're going to
make a little push back, they go And it's just
(06:14):
I think everything is about getting ready for next year
with them right now, because getting Quentin Williams really solidifies
the defense for the long term. Getting guys back, you know,
Revel's gonna end up being a good corner and getting
guys back on their defense matter. The offensive line has
been banged up. So yeah, that's to me, that's their
a year away. I just don't I never really felt that.
(06:35):
I thought before the season they could. I never really
felt that they got it going this year.
Speaker 1 (06:39):
Pete Prisco joining us here on Fox Sports Radio. Get
them on x at Prisco CBS. The Patrick Mahomes injury
obviously several key injuries around the NFL, but Patrick Mahomes
going down. What do you see as this being and
meaning towards the future of the Kansas City Chiefs organization.
Speaker 4 (06:58):
Well, here's what we don't know. Is it a clean
care and how long is it going to be? I mean,
what is it now eight months now nine months that
you can get back to playing football? And when are
you playing Patrick Mahomes football again? That's the question. And
so how long how long do you think Brady will
be before he plays Patrick Mahomes football again.
Speaker 2 (07:17):
We had this conversation earlier.
Speaker 6 (07:19):
You know, there was a thought I would say, I
don't know, it's like a decade ago, guys were trying
to come back sooner than later, like six seven months sometimes.
Speaker 2 (07:27):
But I think that's.
Speaker 6 (07:28):
Changed now because they've had a lot of issues with
hitting into years two and three after getting through that
initial year.
Speaker 2 (07:35):
So I don't know.
Speaker 6 (07:36):
I think it's gonna be a much slower process. Ten
months probably, Yeah, I tell you.
Speaker 4 (07:39):
About I said November. I said October, November, right October,
byby October, September, late September, early October. So you're talking
about midway through that or not midway. But seven eight
games into the season. What does that mean for the Chiefs?
What does that mean for their going forward? Who plays quarterback?
In the interim? Do they go get a guy? What's
Andy Reid? What's your life? I mean, because you want
(08:01):
to go through that. I think there's a lot of
questions now at play for the Chiefs. And and you know,
is he the same guy? I mean, that's that's the
big part of his game is moving around and creating
with his legs and making plays with his legs, and
so there's a lot of things that play for the Chiefs.
And it's so weird to think that they're not going
to be in the playoffs. And what could be even
weirder is if the Ravens don't make it. We know
(08:24):
the Bengals have been eliminated. That means you go into
the playoffs with no Patrick Mahomes, no Lamar Jackson, and
no Joe Burrow, and that, to me is really telling
of how open the AFC playoffs are.
Speaker 3 (08:37):
Going to be.
Speaker 6 (08:40):
Pete, we were talking earlier about Joe Burrow, and obviously
you made the grand proclamation proclamation the night was drafted
that they win multiple super Bowls in ten years one
which one, let's let's say one, and then you tried
to like you wanted insurance because you're like, oh, they
got there, this should be enough. And that didn't happen.
So there's no one better to ask this question than you.
(09:02):
But they're eliminated from the playoffs the other year where
that won't be the case, and he seems just down, depressed, disappointed.
Are you concerned about like the long term him being
there Cincinnati? Are you're concerned about him just in general
everything he's been through, the injuries and all that that
goes around that.
Speaker 2 (09:19):
I mean, they can't even wipe off the snow on
the seats.
Speaker 4 (09:21):
Now, yeah, I mean, look, there's a lot to be
worried about there and his comments last week don't help.
And remember what happened with Carson Palmer. He wanted out
and they got him out. Uh yeah, I think he'd him.
And he was awful on Sunday. I mean, let's be real,
he didn't play very good. And so after coming a
couple of weeks ago actually lighting that defense up on
(09:42):
the road, so there is concern there. Brady, You're not wrong.
He didn't have Higgins on Sunday. That matters, but again,
no points against that team after you lit him up
a couple of weeks ago. And why didn't they shovel expense?
Was that the reason they said for not shoveling off
the seats? I didn't you know, I know they and
do it, but come on, give me a break. And
(10:02):
I'm with you. Look, you want to take shots at
the Bengals organization. Today's that you can take shots at
the Bengals organization. And if Joe Burrow isn't happy there,
he's not going to quit, though, come on, give me
a break.
Speaker 2 (10:12):
All this talking about hold on, hold on, No one
says he's going to quit.
Speaker 4 (10:16):
You No, I've seen people say that, Oh he might
walk away and retire. He doesn't like Andrew luck did.
I don't see that happening at all. But he isn't happy.
And you know what you should do. Go roll over
in your checkbook and you go go get a room
full of hundreds and dive in and then you'll be
happy again.
Speaker 3 (10:36):
That sound advice, Pete, I mean what I.
Speaker 4 (10:39):
Mean, you're okay, You're not you you haven't been actually
a solution to the problem either, Joe. I mean, you're
not ever been on the field.
Speaker 1 (10:47):
I'm with you. That's not a Bengals problem. That's like,
that's not their fault that he can't stay healthy.
Speaker 4 (10:55):
It's been It's been a litany of things too. It
hasn't just been you know, one thing that keeps happening
over and over again. It's been a bunch of things.
And so if you want to look at the problem,
he's been part of the problem.
Speaker 3 (11:07):
You can't deny that when you when you look at
the Kansas City Chiefs and where they currently are. I said,
it's a rap for them. I think we talked about
this before. I don't think you were in agreeance with
the fact that it's a rap. But I said it again.
I said it again, it's a rap. So all right,
(11:29):
go ahead, what what's your take on it? I mean
that's what devastating you say.
Speaker 4 (11:33):
You say, well, now, I will say this, the knee
injury impacts the rap talk what you said before the
knee injury a lot more than that it didn't you
know now that it's happened, of course that matters. But
I don't think it's a rap I don't. I really
don't bounce back. How long, Well, it depends on that knee.
I mean, is he back in week one or is
(11:54):
is he back to If he's back to being Patrick
Mahomes in week one, they'll be back in it. If
he's not back to being Patrick Mahomes and by unless
it's week nine, then they're not going to be in it.
Then it'll be a year that they're back. So that
me matters and it changes the outcome of that team.
He is that team. So I agree with I agree
with you now that there's a chance it could be
over for a year or two.
Speaker 3 (12:16):
But as long as you think it's over, yeah, you'll
never win.
Speaker 4 (12:22):
I don't know that will never win a super Bowl.
Speaker 3 (12:24):
I don't know that they won't win another super Bowl.
I think the days of them being the dominant, the
dominant franchise that they have been during their this tenure.
I think that's that's that's at an end. I think
that's over. That's what I think.
Speaker 4 (12:40):
Well, the dominants have been so amazing, the fact that
they've gone to eight was eighth straight championship games and
won the Super Bowls and we've been to them. Yeah,
that dominance might be over. But them being relevant to
win it all again, that isn't over that that.
Speaker 3 (12:55):
I don't disagree with you there. I just think it
will be more singular, like they're having us singularly good year.
I don't look at it as they can still be
a dynasty.
Speaker 4 (13:04):
I mean, winning thirteen games every year. They might end
up winning eleven and getting hot and getting in and
winning it once or twice. But I don't see as
far as the being that team every year. Yeah, it's
probably over.
Speaker 3 (13:16):
I mean ever since Mike Tyson, you know, I've just
never been able once. Once you knock a champ out,
you know, it's just it's just never the same, you know.
Speaker 4 (13:26):
But you know, the Patriots came back when they had
a little low remember that.
Speaker 3 (13:29):
I know we brought that up. Yeah, yeah, they did.
Speaker 1 (13:32):
Uh pte Prisco with us here on Fox Sports Radio
senior NFL calumnists for CBS Sports CBS Sports HQ analyst.
What does the Micah Parsons injury mean for the Packers
super Bowl chances?
Speaker 4 (13:45):
Well, I thought they were the Super Bowl team before
they acquired Michaeh Parsons. But two plays change the outlook
of a team on Sunday like none other. One was,
you got that lead against the Broncos on the road.
You're dominating a game, and Jordan loves those that shot
down the field to Christian Watson. It's intercepted by certain
(14:06):
Watson gets hurt on the play. The offense changes two,
Parsons goes down, the flates the defense, and now the
Packers go into their final stretch here without Michael Parsons,
who's a game changer, Without Christian Watson, who's become a
game changer, and you right tackle went down Zach thom
(14:27):
who's the best offensive lineman. That's a game changer. On defense.
You also lost to Evan Williams in the secondary. He's
been one of he's been their best safety this year.
I mean, how much more can a team take? And
that that's that's why we were sitting in there watching
these games on Sundays, and this.
Speaker 1 (14:43):
Is this is after by the way Tucker Craft, we
lost the eart.
Speaker 4 (14:48):
You're pass catching tight end when when you how much
more and a team take And that's the reality of
it is the NFL has become a survival test more
than it's ever been. It's always been, but more than
ever now. And when you lose key players, you have
no I look, I don't think the Packers can really
navigate through all this. I don't and I picked them
(15:08):
to win the Super Bowl. I just don't see them
winning it with the way they're constructed right now.
Speaker 2 (15:15):
Damn Well.
Speaker 6 (15:16):
On the flip side of that, the Bears, maybe I
don't want to say a pleasant surprise, or maybe it's
not surprising at all, but Ben Johnson's done a phenomenal
job that game, in particular, Pete, I know you watched
because you're rooting for shador. I know the stat line
looked bad, like the Jerry Judy intercept interception by Jalen Johnson,
like that whole.
Speaker 2 (15:37):
It was a great ball. I don't know what the
hell Judy was doing, but.
Speaker 6 (15:41):
I think he's improved some like he's gonna need to
keep improving. There's still some situational plays where you're like
pulling your hair out, but just kind of both sides
of that game, because the Bears look to be a
legit contender at least, and on the flip side, it
feels like maybe the Browns, if she plays well enough,
he could make a case for being in a competition
(16:01):
next year for that quarterback spot.
Speaker 4 (16:04):
Yeah. I mean, look the Bears. The Bears dominated that game,
and rightfully so you thought they would. And that's a
good Bears team right now. And they play the Packers
again next week, I mean at home and could have
had a chance to beat him the last time. So
it's a good team and Ben Johnson has done a
great job with them. Caleb Williams are getting better. That
throw he made in the back of the end zone
(16:24):
was unreal. When he was rolling to his right and
fired the shot into the back, that was unreal. But
as far as Door Sanders, some good, some bad, some
really bad. But I would I would bring him back,
but I would bring a quarterback in and I'll be
honest with you, I would find I would find the
quarter I don't think he's the long term answer, at
least in my book, but he is getting better, and
(16:45):
he made right Jerry Judy catch the damn ball as
a great throw, but he also threw one into the
linebacker's stomach when he was standing right in front of him.
I mean, that's some good.
Speaker 3 (16:55):
Mist Brady.
Speaker 4 (16:57):
By the way, he's playing behind an offensive line that
is so bad that it's hard to get it.
Speaker 2 (17:02):
That's part of it too.
Speaker 4 (17:03):
Yeah, but again there's so much time. Would I is
he better than Dylan Gabriel? Yes, I would say.
Speaker 6 (17:10):
He is, yeah, And that's honestly, like just if you
just went on the game tape, Like people can say
whatever they want about his attributes and all that, but
I mean both their game tape was good. But the
thing that Shador has always had is to me, he's
an accurate passer and he keeps his eyes downfield like
it doesn't matter how much pressure he's.
Speaker 2 (17:27):
Getting, and he'll take some sacks, but he'll always keeps.
Speaker 3 (17:31):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (17:31):
But look, look, you can make the case about.
Speaker 6 (17:33):
A number of guys right now that that do that,
and I think think you have to hold on to
it longer if you're trying to wait for stuff to
develop down the field. But to your point, they don't
have the protection. I just I feel like he hasn't
been phased by the lack of protection, like he's still
looking to take those haymakers and those deep shots, and
that's a positive. That's a good thing in my mind.
Speaker 4 (17:55):
Yeah, I would agree with you, right, Uh.
Speaker 6 (17:59):
Pete thought some comments on the Heisman. I know you're
aware of that award and you probably watched any thoughts
on Mendoza winning it and maybe they fall out from Paba.
Speaker 4 (18:09):
Yeah, I don't know what Bobby is talking about. I mean,
he's gonna have a nice career in Canada. I mean neither.
Oh well, he's going to play in Canada. He's not
gonna play. He's not going to be a starting quarterback
in the NFL, and I don't think he's gonna be
a backup. And I think he'd be a great Canadian
League quarterback, I really do. But look, the right guy
(18:30):
won the award, and the way I look at it,
I think he deserved to win the award. I thought
his speech was really good, which was surprising since every
other interview he's done has been awkward as hell. But
his speech is good. And look, I think he's got
that factor about him in the moments from Mendoza when
you know, look at look at his red zone numbers
(18:50):
there are unbelievable. And he shows up in the moments,
and that's what you want. As awkward as sometimes he
sounds when he's standing there talking after games, I.
Speaker 1 (19:00):
Wanted to get your thoughts on this as well to
speaking of college football. Kenny Dillingham emotional talking about the
magical place that is Tempe.
Speaker 2 (19:10):
I mean, I love this place. Like I said, my.
Speaker 4 (19:14):
You know what he's talking.
Speaker 3 (19:18):
Come on, you don't don't be don't be rude. I mean,
the guy's in an emotional state. Listen to this guy.
Oh no, come on, man, it's hard.
Speaker 2 (19:37):
Lafar, did you say take a moment earlier.
Speaker 3 (19:39):
Yeah, take a moment. Yeah, you're right. It's a long moment.
Is not a lone a pause. But this place is
just it's a special place to me. I mean, Pete,
that's inspiring.
Speaker 4 (19:51):
You're right, that was was he crying because everybody's leaving?
You want me to cry? I mean, I mean it's
quarterback is bailing. I mean everybody that the receivers going
to the NFL, which he should, but a bunch of
other guys are now in the portal. I mean, if
it's such a great place, why aren't they staying there?
I don't get it. I mean, that's what bothers me.
(20:13):
It bothers me about college football, but it bothers me,
Sam Levitt. I think Brady, if I'm not mistaken, it
was the ninth highest paid NIL player in the whole country. Why.
Speaker 2 (20:22):
I mean, I don't know.
Speaker 6 (20:24):
Maybe there's a better suitor out there for him.
Speaker 4 (20:29):
Explain that to me. What's a better suitor Someone.
Speaker 6 (20:32):
Who's gonna pay them more than the ASU. Maybe they're
gonna pay him top three.
Speaker 2 (20:35):
I don't know.
Speaker 6 (20:36):
My thing with all of that is, I don't even
know how accurate those numbers are, because you know, there's
really no accurate way. It's not like the NFL where
you can go see the contract they just sign. My
greater issue is like Southern Cal, for example, is announcing
players who are signing back to come back to Southern Cal.
(20:56):
Like we've now jumped the shark. We've officially gotten to
the point where college football is at a cringe spot
with having every year to announce guys coming back?
Speaker 2 (21:07):
Are we for real right now?
Speaker 1 (21:08):
Like this?
Speaker 6 (21:10):
They they need Congress And I have never called for
the government to intervene, but they need them to like
yesterday now because the powers that be don't want to
address this. It is the ugliest thing I think I've
ever seen is now teams have to announce players who
are signing back like it's a big deal.
Speaker 3 (21:27):
You know.
Speaker 6 (21:28):
We used to say, hey, I've got eligibility left. I
want to try to come back for my senior year.
I did that, didn't make a big deal about it.
Just was like, yeah, I'm coming back. I want to
get my degree, try to win a national championship. It
is terrible what's happened to the sport, just in the
regards of how we handle I don't care if the
guys are getting paid.
Speaker 3 (21:45):
I'm just standing.
Speaker 6 (21:46):
Stop announcing it like it's some great thing that the
fan base needs to celebrate.
Speaker 4 (21:51):
My god, I don't mind. Don't mind. Look, I don't
mind guys. I like guys paid. In fact, I want
them all to be paid.
Speaker 3 (21:57):
To pay them.
Speaker 2 (21:58):
Sure, I'm with you announce it.
Speaker 4 (22:01):
But there's got to be some rules based on the payment.
And by that I mean if I get a kid
and I pay him eight million dollars or whatever to
play quarterback at my school, he's gonna have to stay
there for two years or three years. There's got to
be some something about unless the coach.
Speaker 2 (22:17):
You want to sign a contract, you know what, league.
Speaker 4 (22:20):
After, unless the coach, unless there should be a provision,
unless the coach jumps to another team for then everybody
should be able to leave if they want to. So, yeah,
it's just a it's a mess right now, Brady. The
whole thing. The playoff is a mess, the nil is
a mess, the transfer portal is a mess. The whole
thing is a mess. And it's painting a game that
we've all come to love. And I think it's ridiculous.
(22:41):
I think it's awful what's happening in college football. I
mean it makes you mad. It makes me mad. I
saw that, you know. Kenny Dillingham sent out of a
tweet the other day when Sam Levin announced that if
they announced that he's leaving, he said, great kid, loved
having him. He's going to be great and I and
I was mad. I sent out a tweet back saying,
see you. And by the way, you left a lot
of pockets too soon. I mean you get mad. I
(23:02):
got mad, Yeah, he does so. By the way, last
year that though.
Speaker 2 (23:11):
He's kind of he's kind of a one and run.
Speaker 6 (23:13):
He's kind of a one and last year I.
Speaker 4 (23:16):
Thought he would take the next step and he didn't,
So damn, don't let the door hit your ass on
the way out.
Speaker 1 (23:23):
Pete, hey, Pete, right side, wrong result?
Speaker 3 (23:31):
Which game yesterday did you bet on and made a
pick on? No?
Speaker 4 (23:34):
I had my picks. My picks are really really good.
I had a good day. I mean, like I released
my on our show on Tuesday. My best bet was
the Rams Lions game over and that went way over
and it was over almost at halftime, so that was
one of the best ones. The one that you I
was on the right side of was the Packers. They
had no business losing that game after after leading with
(23:55):
the ball until that throw to uh to watch and
that was the one that was the right. Well.
Speaker 3 (24:01):
LeVar had a couple of those that he was talking
about which I was on the wrong side of the
right bets. Yeah it happens. Which one like Detroit, Detroit,
Detroit and what what Buffalo, New England, Buffalo, New England. Yeah,
and Detroit and then they let.
Speaker 4 (24:16):
Them you know what they did. But New England they
had a chance to put their foot on their throats
and they let them they did, they let them back.
That's the worst in the AFC playoffs, that's the worst
thing because that's the team that nobody's going to want
to play because of that guy. That's period. I mean,
look in the AFC, there's gonna be a lot of
teams with feeling their way through. I mean, Jackson's never
this group hasn't been there that the Broncos haven't been there,
(24:38):
but you know that guy has. The Patriots haven't been there.
That guy has, Nobody was going to want to play
them in the playoffs.
Speaker 1 (24:45):
Get him on X at Prisco CBS. He is our

football recap Monday next here on FSR.
Speaker 3 (25:27):
You know a very hotly debated topic in the hot
sauce world is this year's MVP. I'm not talking players,
I'm talking poors. That's right. The most valuable poor. I
know who mine is? The most valuable poor is the
(25:48):
original Louisiana Hot Sauce. Here's why it's my MVP. It's
because this sauce has shown me what's really made of
three hard hitting ingredients peppers, vinegar, and salt. It's that
perfect balance of heat and flavor. And now that's MVP
material to me. What makes the most Valuable Poor different
(26:11):
from any other old poor is in the name, the value.
Other hot sauces are so second string. But the original
Louisiana Hot sauce, well, on game day, it'll dress and
it'll be your favorite eats with ease, your starting poor.
(26:32):
We call it drizzling on your nachos, your burgers, your beizzas,
your gumbo, any of it. That's a score. And just
take a look at its record for almost one hundred years,
its flavor is undefeated. A tasty Louisiana legacy that deserves
the most Valuable poor title. That is why the original
(26:55):
Louisiana Hot Sauce is not just my MVP, it's my VP.
If you know what I mean. That's Louisiana Hot Baby.
Make sure you're buy you Tom.

Speaker 3 (28:07):
Oh no, police car? Oh no, oh no, that's a
good one.
Speaker 2 (28:12):
That was a great version. That was the old Berdo version.
Speaker 3 (28:14):
Right, yeah, it was.
Speaker 2 (28:16):
He loved that.
Speaker 1 (28:18):
By the way, Sesame Street helped raise all of us.
Now it's our turn donate this holiday season at sesame
dot org because the world needs Sesame and Sesame needs you.
We are going to have the leftovers coming up in
about twelve minutes from now. Speaking of needing somebody, LeVar,
you just need to listen to us when it comes
to the AFC East because nobody has picked this division, right.
Speaker 3 (28:42):
Braden T.
Speaker 1 (28:43):
Quinn and I we're telling everybody, listen, the Patriots are
going to be a dangerous team this year, that that's
going to be a problem.
Speaker 3 (28:50):
They have been. This will send that all along. Actually
were the guys that we're saying they were going to be.
Speaker 2 (28:55):
Yeah, I've got those I've got those tickets. That is,
those were not cash, sir.
Speaker 3 (28:59):
But that was you guys that was saying.
Speaker 6 (29:01):
The irony about that is you were so defiant and
in fact, we will most likely have this division exactly
how we thought it would. Bills, Pats, Dolphins, Jets. I
said the Bills would win it. No, I said the
Bills would win their division.
Speaker 3 (29:22):
You picked the Jets, I believe, No, I did not.
I said the Jets would finish last. I believe I
said the Dolphins Dolphins second.
Speaker 6 (29:31):
Right, And you thought you actually you actually went as
far as saying you weren't sure if the Patriots had
finished third or fourth. That's correct, and you left you
left a big gap in there for them to finish
dead last.
Speaker 8 (29:44):
Uh.
Speaker 3 (29:48):
And here's what's interesting. Uh. And and the the Dolphins
played this evening, they're not in a bad position. They're
actually not that bad. They're on a five game winning streak.
Speaker 1 (30:01):
Like the firing of the GM really, uh really must
have been the key ingredient there.
Speaker 3 (30:07):
That what I think it is. I don't know what.
I don't really know what it is, but I will
say this. They are let's see where they at, right,
They're they're in third place, right, well, I mean they're
way too far away from the Bills and the Patriots,
so there is a big gap. But I did have
the Jets coming in last. So I didn't think that
(30:28):
the Jets would do anything more than be last. That
was a big comeback when I believe so, I believe
you're rooting for uh, I am rooting for them. Aaron
Glenn's one of my boys.
Speaker 2 (30:37):
Like, that's what I'm saying that I thought you were
like defying about them.
Speaker 3 (30:40):
That doesn't get in the way of how I call
it though. I said the Bills would win the division
and that the Dolphins would be in a second and
possibly contend for the division. And I didn't think that
the Patriots would be very competitive at all this year.
That that was my assessment of it.
Speaker 1 (30:59):
Yeah, I mean, following yesterday, do you think this open
Do you think this opens up the door for the
Bills to sneak back in and take that division?
Speaker 3 (31:10):
Because if you look at schedules, uh.
Speaker 1 (31:13):
New England's got a game lead over Buffalo after yesterday,
the Patriots had an opportunity to clinch the division. The
Patriots right now DraftKings are a minus two fifty to
win the division, so they are favored to still win
the AFC East. But here's the remaining schedule for the
New England Patriots at the Ravens at the Jets home
(31:35):
against the Dolphins in Week eight. Team for the Buffalo Bills,
It's I think a little bit easier of a path
the Bills down the stretch again. A game back of
the Patriots right now at the Browns that win home
against the Eagles home against the Jets.
Speaker 2 (31:54):
Win home against the Eagles. They'll lose.
Speaker 3 (31:57):
Okay, they might beat the Eagles. The Eagles aren't good
right now. I mean, they want they're winning, but they're not.
It's not a good team right now. So but I mean,
but they'll win games like that. The Eagles will win
a game like that.
Speaker 6 (32:14):
Was that one of those games? Like when I was
watching it announce, My in laws were in town. They're
from Boston, huge Boston sports fans, but Patriots fans specifically.
I'm watching it and they get up twenty one nothing
and there's a lot of peacocking, you know, going around,
a lot of Italian vibes and juice.
Speaker 2 (32:30):
You know, how you doing's kind of things being thrown around.
Speaker 6 (32:34):
And when I had left and when I came back
then it was a little tighter ball game, you know.
And then next time I went outside and I'll try
to fix these damn garage doors. I come back inside,
the TVs are off, I go, well, what happened here?
Speaker 2 (32:48):
I go, I'm pretty sure I just saw the the
Pats one right, and there was just nothing.
Speaker 6 (32:53):
There was no talking whatsoever, a lot of frustration in
the household, and I feel like maybe it was a
moment and you could hear the frustration from Mike Vrabel
after the game that when it comes down to it,
they're just not there yet to beat a Bills team
that when Josh Allen wants to turn it on, he
feels impossible to stop.
Speaker 3 (33:12):
At times, he got him. I mean they got what
the fourth down penalty got called back? Then what he
comes back and he does something else and then scores again.
Like I felt like that was the drive that that
kind of determined it because they were still able to win.
(33:34):
I mean when they came down and Cook was able
to run the ball in, but that one series where
Patrick Patrick Josh Allen ended up running the ball in,
I thought that was a big, a big moment, big
drive for the game. I'll say this the Patriots. He
may say that, Coach Rabel may say that about his team,
(33:55):
but they stood tall in that game and by no
means did it look like they were outclassed or outmatched
at any point in time in that game. Like I
thought the Patriots were going to win the entire time
until they didn't. And sometimes that's the mark of a
really good team is that they can get it done
in those moments, and the Bills did. But at no
(34:18):
point in time that I look at at the Patriots
and looking at him like, yeah, you're getting You're getting
shown who you really are today, Like it wasn't wasn't
anything any vibes like that. They had nothing to hang
their heads about after that game. Guys, wanna play a
little game.
Speaker 1 (34:35):
I got a fun little game for you, all right,
because I find this to be a little bit surprising.
So the La Rams and Matthew Stafford, who's running away?
Speaker 3 (34:46):
VP?
Speaker 2 (34:47):
Yeah, it's MVP MVP.
Speaker 1 (34:49):
The LA Rams are the favorite to win the Super Bowl,
currently sitting at three to one plus three hundred.
Speaker 3 (34:55):
Wow. Can you guess who is next?
Speaker 1 (35:00):
Bills next? Shortest odds? It is not the Bills, the
bottom you guess.
Speaker 3 (35:06):
Next the next h Broncos. Broncos are incorrect.
Speaker 1 (35:19):
The Broncos and Bills are the Patriots, not the Patriots.
Speaker 3 (35:24):
What you know where this is going. You know where
this is going? No, no, no, no way down there.
Speaker 2 (35:31):
Don't see the Jaguars.
Speaker 3 (35:32):
No, no, not the Jaguars.
Speaker 2 (35:34):
Who are we forgetting the Eagles?
Speaker 3 (35:38):
Is an AFC or NFC team? I would the Packers,
but it's not the Packers.
Speaker 1 (35:47):
Second shortest odds to win the Super Bowl right now
in DraftKings Seattle, Seattle, let's go what?
Speaker 3 (35:54):
Yeah?
Speaker 1 (35:55):
Really, I find that they're quiet, really good.
Speaker 4 (36:02):
The.
Speaker 3 (36:04):
Seahawks of the field. To bet the field, they're They're quiet,
They're good.
Speaker 2 (36:09):
No, there's got to go on Calshi.
Speaker 6 (36:13):
I just I bet, I bet I can look at
Super Bowl winners and I bet I can fade them
right now.
Speaker 1 (36:18):
I love their defense, but we alluded to this earlier,
like Sam Darnold, that has not looked the same the
back end of the season, similar to how last year went.
Speaker 3 (36:30):
Yeah, but they got they I mean they have balance
on their offense though, And listen, they don't get crazy
you know, crazy numbers out of Charbonnet and and and
the other guys in the backfield. But it's a balanced attack.
(36:51):
I just feel like it's the Shaeed and and and
uh what in Jigba and all that. I think that
This is one of the quietly like really good teams,
and maybe Sam Darnold is in a better position going
into the end of the season and into the playoffs
this year with this group, even more so than what
(37:12):
he was with that Minnesota group.
Speaker 1 (37:14):
Yeah, it's a I mean, Thursday's game, because it's Rams
Seahawks in Seattle.
Speaker 3 (37:19):
Is going to be massive. Yeah, that's a big one.
Speaker 1 (37:21):
That's you know, that could determine the one seed obviously
the division. Like that's gonna that's you mean you could
be looking at It should be a fun game to
watch too, Yeah, you know, especially after the first game.
Speaker 6 (37:31):
According to Calsie, right now, there's a ninety percent chance
that they don't.
Speaker 2 (37:35):
End up being the Pro Football champion, the Super Bowl champ.
Speaker 3 (37:38):
All right.
Speaker 6 (37:39):
The best odds are Los Angeles Rams, They're at twenty
one percent, and then Buffalo and number two a thirteen percent.
Speaker 3 (37:49):
Yep.
Speaker 1 (37:50):
So kind of surprising that Seattle would be that high
up there, but they are and Thursday all for themself
out Yeah, I.
Speaker 6 (37:57):
Mean, if you bet a hundred bucks though, that's like
guaranteeing your self twelve dollars payout right.
Speaker 1 (38:01):
I'd do that, not one hundred bucks. But I do
like ten to win two or something ten dollars seet
a dollar twenty.
Speaker 3 (38:06):
Yeah, be sweet for two bucks?

Speaker 5 (41:15):
So the Thunder are matching the Warriors twenty four and
one starts and probably gonna break the seventy three win record,
but it seems they have a lot less hype about
it this time.
Speaker 3 (41:26):
The old Warriors, the old way about it.
Speaker 5 (41:29):
Yes, do we even care though, because the hypes kind
of just act about the Thunder.
Speaker 3 (41:33):
They're they're fantastic. But Oklahoma City, I care when they
get closer, okay, yeah, the bar cares. Yeah, when they
get closer. They're doing really well. Yeah the bar cares. Okay,
moving on. What I'm just saying, well, you know, we
gotta move on anyway? Was that it? Pat There? We
(41:56):
go get it for it? Warriors go o
