a phenomenal game last night up in Seattle. The Rams
look like they're in total control with a sixteen point
lead in the fourth quarter. The Seahawks rally back, special
teams gets involved.
Speaker 3 (01:39):
Offensively.
Speaker 1 (01:39):
Sam Donald found something down the back end of the game,
and then you know afterwards, you know, it was into
overtime and the Rams scored. Pukinakua had a monster game,
but Sam Donald rallied the team couple of great throws
to Jackson Smith and Jigba and a Cooper.
Speaker 3 (01:59):
Cup who ended up making up for.
Speaker 1 (02:01):
That fumble before halftime, and then they had the balls
to go for two.
Speaker 4 (02:05):
I don't think there was anybody. I don't think it
was the balls. I think they had to go for two.
And the reason why they had to go for two
is one that the tie did not help them versus
a tiebreaker because the Rams had beat them the first time.
And then secondly, I think there was like three minutes
left on the clock when they scored, so there was
really no guarantees that they would have any time left
(02:30):
like one either get the ball back or two even
have enough time to go down and score. So you were,
like in theory, you were you were setting it up
for Matthew Stafford to get them in game winning position
like they did in regulation time. Yeah, and kicked the
field goal, kicked the field goal with no time left
(02:52):
basically and win the game. So they they the position
that they were in situationally speaking, they had to go
for two, like go for two win the game, or
go for to miss it, you lose the game. But
you understand that the reasoning behind going for two was
what I just explained.
Speaker 3 (03:11):
You also weren't going to stop Matthew Stafford last night.
Speaker 2 (03:13):
Just however you want to look at it. They stopped them.
Speaker 4 (03:16):
They stopped them well enough to force them to kick
a field goal that they ended up missing that led
them into overtime.
Speaker 1 (03:23):
So I mean, there is that so the you know,
it's obviously a big win for Seattle. Uh, It's also
as far as the Rams go, it's another one of
those games to where you look at and you go, really,
you lost that one? Because there's been games this year,
and we talked about this earlier in the week to
where even though the Rams look like they're the goods
(03:45):
and I still think they're the best team in the league,
there are times during the season where the Rams have
games that you look at afterwards and you go.
Speaker 3 (03:53):
How'd you lose that one? Like the one against the Eagles.
Speaker 1 (03:57):
Earlier this year they had that game lost the one
against the Niners on Thursday Night Football where the Niners
were riddled with injuries and Mac Jones was was out
there dealing and he was going into full blown body
cramps like he had rigormortis at one point during that game.
And and they and the Rams lost that game on
a short week at home to the Niners.
Speaker 3 (04:17):
The Carolina game, you're looking at it going.
Speaker 1 (04:20):
What and that's and and that game last night you
look at and you go, man, you were in control
and somehow, some way you cough that up. So there
is that thing that kind of lingers with the Rams.
The other thing that is lingering with the Rams. It's
going to.
Speaker 3 (04:34):
Become more of a conversation.
Speaker 1 (04:37):
So Puka Nakua was was on a live stream with
aiden ross Uh. I was not familiar with what the
gesture was or what it meant, but he made a
gesture that you know, was kind of a anti semitic
I guess, and and some people recognized that he had
(04:58):
to apologize for it after the fact, So not a
great look for him. I was unaware of the situation
how to celebrate and people were bothered by that, obviously.
And then he also talked about how the officials just
want to be on TV too, and and criticize the officials.
And then after the game last night with the two
point conversion and the thing that went the favor of
(05:21):
the Seahawks and some of the other calls there, Pooka
took to social media, I mean literally right after the
game and said, can you say I was wrong? Appreciate
you Stripes for your contribution.
Speaker 2 (05:32):
Lol.
Speaker 3 (05:33):
Then he deleted the tweet.
Speaker 1 (05:35):
Sean McVay steps up afterwards, obviously still upset about what
happened in the game, and Wash was asked question after
question about his star wide receiver.
Speaker 5 (05:45):
Could have something.
Speaker 3 (05:49):
Taking underbill the rest. I mean, what are you what
are you talking about?
Speaker 6 (05:53):
He just put something on Twitter and yeah, you know,
so what are you asking me right now.
Speaker 2 (05:58):
Do you are you can't questions about something that I'm
not aware.
Speaker 7 (06:01):
Of, But are you okay with players going to expressing
frustration or things like that, or is that something that
you hope that they kind of keeping themselves in?
Speaker 3 (06:09):
I got to have more information before I answer any
of those.
Speaker 2 (06:11):
Kind of questions. Did anyway did a distraction this week?
Speaker 3 (06:13):
No, it wasn't a distraction at all.
Speaker 2 (06:15):
Did you think his play showed that he was distracted?
I didn't think so either. He went off today he didn't,
you know what? And I apologize for you know what.
Speaker 6 (06:25):
I love this team, and man, when you put out
as much as our group does and you care so
much about something and you come up short, it's incredibly disappointing.
But as it relates to just the things that that
you're asking, you know, we always want to make sure
that we handle ourselves with a class learn from it,
or put my arm around him and continue to educate
our guys. I love this team, I love his heart.
(06:46):
I think he's going to continue to grow and mature,
and I'm going to be there right there with him
to continue.
Speaker 3 (06:51):
To help do that strong that's strong very much, and
he also he could tell he.
Speaker 4 (06:58):
Was right to pop off, but that that's the that wisdom,
that's that experience. And he was basically saying like, look,
I'm just trying, like, let me just tell y'all, I
love my guys, Like I'm letting you know, like respectfully,
like I love my guys. And and so I understand
what you're doing. Understand what you're doing, and I understand you.
Speaker 3 (07:19):
Guys have a job away. I understand.
Speaker 4 (07:22):
I understand it's frustrating after you have a loss like this.
We got to regroup, we got to get back to work.
But don't don't be coming for my players and using
me as a tool to come for my players. I
love my guys. So I'm basically telling you guys very
gently and very respectfully and peacefully, don't f whip me
(07:48):
about my guys.
Speaker 3 (07:50):
Don't do it. He that's what he said.
Speaker 4 (07:52):
That's what he said in a very very lighthearted like
let me not go down the road of being so
frustrated that I'm popping off and off on y'all.
Speaker 1 (08:01):
And I think he also because later on, you know,
they were asking him like, how can you ensure that
there's not going to be any more issues with pooka
off the field when it comes to any just oh,
I can be sure, trust me like I can. And
it was basically, yeah, I'm going to talk to him. Yeah.
But I think Sean mcvayh also if you just were
to take a step back.
Speaker 4 (08:19):
First of all, I've done that. You know how many
times I've done that with my kids. Like you talk
to a teacher and the teacher was like, well, you
know today, LeVar was, you know, talking a little bit
too much in.
Speaker 2 (08:32):
Class, and da da da, this that and the other and.
Speaker 3 (08:35):
This that, and you go in and you have the meeting.
Speaker 4 (08:37):
But what they don't realize is I've already spoken to
my kids like, oh, I have a meeting with your
teacher today. I have a conference with your teacher. Da
da da, this and that and the other. What is
what are they going to say? What are they going
to say? Going to say, I'm not paying attention enough?
Is that true?
Speaker 3 (08:55):
No, it's not.
Speaker 4 (08:55):
Why will it not be? You're not paying attention enough?
Because I'm asking for help? So what are you saying? Literally,
because my teacher is so busy teaching and I can't
get her attention to ask the question for help? I
asked one of my closest friends that's really really smart,
and I'm asking what it is that I need to
(09:19):
do to figure out what it is that she's saying.
I said, that's it, Yeah, I said, I'm not like,
what else am I doing? So I'm already going into
the conference and the lady's like, yeah, he's like, he's
during the you know, during the lesson, you're talking, he's
talking too much with his friends. He's interacting with his friend,
(09:40):
Da da da da. And now you know what I say,
I'm like, I'm gonna have a talk with him. I'm
gonna let him know he doesn't need to talk during class,
during your time teaching and what you're saying, I'm gonna
let him know. Thank you so much, Da da dada.
And now I walk out of me, you.
Speaker 3 (09:55):
Know, f out of here, out of here.
Speaker 1 (09:58):
But you know the difference is you knew what the
conversation was going to be about. Sean McVay stepped up
that forwards and they're like, do you see that tweet
he just posted.
Speaker 4 (10:07):
He's like, wait, what, But he already knew, he already
knew he did that, He already knew that Hookah had
already been doing it. He was already aware that Hookah
was already running his mouth about the referees. He had
already did it, so something new like, I don't know
what Hookah said. I just know in the context of
which y'all are asking me, it's something that has to
(10:28):
do with something along those topic lines.
Speaker 1 (10:31):
He's also I think if we're you know, having a
real conversation, like Sean McVay looked like he was exhausted
after the game. Uh, he just had another kid this week,
so him and his wife had another kid this week.
Speaker 4 (10:44):
Yeah, what wouldn't you mean? Keep going, hey, you know what,
keep on going. I'm showing him some pretty babies. He's
a good looking dude. That man will strut down, hey,
and he don't have no problems strutting down the sideline
to show it to you when he's going to go
call time out here going put them all that's intentional.
(11:06):
We're going to put them tight pants on display. And
don't think for two seconds he don't he don't be
rough in that that that wolverine look like he does
that on purpose. Oh yeah, oh yeah, they all do
that rugged look.
Speaker 3 (11:20):
Now.
Speaker 4 (11:22):
Yeah, I noticed that nobody does clean shaven anymore they.
Speaker 3 (11:25):
Got it from me? Is that what it is?
Speaker 8 (11:27):
Probably Okay, it's kind of pull I got around here respect,
but it also I think Sean McVay in that moment
was like, look, man, I just had a kid.
Speaker 3 (11:39):
I'm on zero sleep.
Speaker 1 (11:41):
We had travel issues leaving to get to the game
because the flight was delayed for hours because there was
technical malfunction or mechanical issues or whatever you want to
call it. Then I'm having to hear about our our
leading wide receiver because Davante Adams is Adam having to
hear about him possibly an anti semitic tropes in a
(12:02):
video criticizing the officials. We go in we should have
won that game. We gagged away another game, and then
I come in here afterwards and the guy jumps and
the fact that he was able to keep it together
and not lose is cool, Like shows you why that
guy's part of the reason why he's had the success
(12:24):
he's had.
Speaker 4 (12:24):
Like, because some of these guys be selling their people out, man,
and it's because they don't truly care about their guys.
They don't love their team, they don't love their guys.
So I like the fact that that McVeigh declared that, like,
you're not going to like, I'm not going to roll
Pooka under the bus for you.
Speaker 3 (12:44):
Yeah, he already did that with Jared Goff.
Speaker 4 (12:46):
That didn't land well though, Well he got him up
at it there too, so he must not have really
banged with Jared Goff all like that.
Speaker 1 (12:53):
But you know what, to mcvay's credit on that regard,
even acknowledged afterwards, I could have handled that better.
Speaker 4 (12:59):
I did not hand wall like these an accountable guys
kind of like a kid too, though you know he's
not old. These guys are living and learning as well,
you know, But I like that. I like that guys
are young enough and understanding, you know, what what their
roles are and how they can do things better.
Speaker 3 (13:20):
Old head coaches aren't like that.
Speaker 9 (13:22):
Man.
Speaker 4 (13:22):
There's like a few of them that you'd be like, Man,
I bang with him like in that way. Like Andy Reid,
I would have loved to have played my career with
Andy Reid as my head coach. Would have I would
have probably had like a super dope, super fire I
would have had a super like an amazing career if
I had Andy Reid as a head coach. And he's
(13:44):
an old school dude, But he's a player's coach. You know,
you get some of these guys, they really can coach.
I think people are now starting, whether they want to
admit it or not. I think the general audience, because
of technology and just the access and the understanding of
(14:08):
the data that's at your fingertips, I think we're starting
to get to a day and age where you have
to base your judgments on people off of more accurate information.
And then when you look at that accurate information, some
of these coaches stink, do not deserve to have a job,
should not have a job. The only thing that got
(14:30):
them that job is is nepotism.
Speaker 3 (14:33):
Or you you've been here as a quality.
Speaker 4 (14:35):
Control for so long, so you understand the structure because
you were with this coach or that coach and you
were in the background and you did scouting, but you weren't.
Speaker 3 (14:46):
That doesn't mean you were good.
Speaker 2 (14:47):
You were just there.
Speaker 4 (14:50):
So people are now getting becoming more aware of it.
And it's like, oh, wait, you mean this team doesn't
stink because the players just suck. Oh, it really is coaching.
It really is the way these coaches come to the
table and look, look no further than examples like Mike
(15:16):
Rabel or Ben Johnson or what Dan Campbell did in
Detroit or cow Sanahan and in San Francisco. You can't
understate McVeigh and Los Angeles. So now the trend it
seems as though now the trend is one, you're getting
the best results from younger guys because they relate to
(15:38):
these guys more that they can relate. But two, you
gotta get younger guys that actually know what the f
they're doing.
Speaker 3 (15:46):
My guy culture builders, like I gotta know what you're doing.
Speaker 1 (15:50):
And that's that's one of the things that like with
McVeigh or even this year with a Ben Johnson, like
one of the things that people thought was well, Ben
Johnson's being brought into fixed Caleb Williams being brought in
to fix that place.
Speaker 3 (16:02):
Place was a disaster.
Speaker 1 (16:03):
Like when Jared Goff got to Detroit after the trade,
everyone just assumed, yeah, it was a salary dump and
Detroit's gonna off, you know, get rid of him and
you know, a couple of years and go in a
different direction. They just took on, you know, his his
contract to get the number one first round draft pick,
et cetera, et cetera. Dan Campbell built something there that
(16:25):
all of a sudden you look back afterwards, you go, dude,
Jared Goff's been better in Detroit than he was with
the Rams, and he went to a super Bowl with
the Rams, like it's gotten paid multiple and that trade
ended up working out for everybody. But it worked out
for everybody because Sean McVay built a culture and Dan
Campbell built a culture and all you did was swap
(16:46):
quarterbacks and they still had success. It's because they both
ended up in places that were run well. And you
mentioned the Patriots Mike Rabel, Like, Mike Rabel's done that
in multiple spot now. So it really does to your
point when you see situations like the Rams or what
(17:07):
Vrabel and Ben Johnson have done, or what Dan Campbell's done,
it really does shine a spotlight on how bad some
of the other coaching jobs are around the league, Like
how bad things have Like, man, you asked Albert Breer
about this yesterday, the Pete Carroll situation in Las Vegas
(17:28):
is a disaster. Like they they are getting worse by
the week. Every time you think they've reached a new low,
then they go out and do that like they got
shut out last week by the Eagles, they had like
fifty yards of offense like it's but it's not even
(17:48):
so much just well, you know, you need somebody who's
who's gonna be a quarterback whisper, and no, you need
somebody who's gonna be an organizational whisper. And those teams
have figured it out and most teams haven't. It really,
it shines the spotlight on a lot of bad teams.
Speaker 5 (18:03):
In the end.
Speaker 4 (18:03):
It just can't be dismissive to people and what makes
them tick. And you used to be able to do
it because you could lead through scared tactics like guys
aren't scared and not scared of coaches anymore. Like in fact,
it's weird because when I say they're not scared, I'm
(18:26):
saying Jonas to the level of I'm going to fire you.
Speaker 2 (18:30):
You're you're going to be let go from this team.
They don't care like young young people these days.
Speaker 4 (18:39):
It's like I'm a stand on principal and stand on
values and I'm a stand on like you just aren't
going to talk to me that way. And what's crazy
is because society is more sensitive to supporting it. These
young these young cats have come up in an era
of time where that is more important stress. Seeing the
(19:00):
importance of you being the way that you are is
impacting my mental and emotional health. It's more supportive, whereas
back in the day you had some old head coaches.
Speaker 2 (19:12):
I'm gonna send you back.
Speaker 9 (19:14):
I'm gonna send you back where you came from on
the bus. That's what Joe, you say.
Speaker 2 (19:20):
I put you on the bus.
Speaker 4 (19:22):
We're gonna send you right back where you came from.
Like you mess up a play. He talking about kicking
you out of the university. How often would he go
to that car? I don't know.
Speaker 2 (19:34):
He used it quite a bit.
Speaker 1 (19:35):
So give me like a real life example, like you,
what do you mean in practice?
Speaker 4 (19:40):
I don't. I didn't get it much. I didn't get it.
I God drove home. You gotta put me all day.
I drove here. I'm two a few hour and a
half away, and I ain't need no no bus to get.
Speaker 3 (19:50):
Home, you know, I mean?
Speaker 4 (19:52):
But but dudes mess up stuff like they mess up
or even if like you come into the team meeting
and there was warrant to it. Sometimes like you come
into the team meeting like.
Speaker 9 (20:02):
Oh here we go, Okay, we got so and so
and so and so and so and so and so
and so, all of you late for class so and
so and so and so and so and so and so.
It did not go to class so and so and
so and so late for breakfast.
Speaker 2 (20:17):
Hey, let's say, I'm gonna get you out of here.
I'm gonna get you out of here. You keep playing
with me. I'm I'm gonna put you back on the
bus that you came here on. I'm gonna get you
out here. I'm gonna put your send you back. I'ma
send you back to where you came from.
Speaker 3 (20:37):
So it was warranted.
Speaker 4 (20:39):
Now, how could you have handled it differently, Like if
you're a young dude, like you know, I don't know,
because at the end of the day, I mean, sometimes
you do gotta call people out on on the shenanigans
that they be doing and and and putting it on
front street. Sometimes you know that that that makes you
subscribe to what it is that the coach are trying
to do as long as the coach knows what he's doing.
(21:01):
Like coach was getting results, Like guys were getting results,
and we come out pretty good going through the trials
and tribulations, the trials and errors of being a college
student at Penn State. All I'm saying is is some
of these guys don't know what the hell they're doing,
and yet they're sitting there being a holes to the
people that they're coaching and that they're leading, and that's
(21:22):
not being a leader. And then you start to realize
that they're just not even really good at coaching. And
then you start to understand. It's like, well, how did
you get this job? How are you the head coach
of X said big program in college or big program
and the pros? How did you ever climb the ladder
(21:43):
to become this person a GM? How did you climb
the lade? You think? And it's crazy because when you
get somebody who knows what they're doing, just an ounce
of what they know is way more than these other
guys out here that are jacking up these organizations and
really putting them in holes that other people got to
(22:03):
climb out of. And because they got knowledge, they're trying
to climb out of it, and they're doing a pretty
decent job. But then you start to realize the hole
they're trying to climb out of was a pretty freaking
deep hole, and that's what happens so often. People don't
talk about it enough, but you know, and they don't
be wanting to batmouth certain guys this guy, that guy.
(22:24):
And then it's crazy because then you circulate them like
for the longest time, these non coaching asses or non
leadership cats, it's circulating.
Speaker 2 (22:33):
Around the league.
Speaker 4 (22:34):
Then you bring them out of retirement, what are you doing? Like, Okay,
maybe they was good at this point, but that isn't
this point? Can they relate to this? Oh they can't.
You gotta move on, cats, don't do that. Get you
out of here, get you out here. Imagine if you
could say that to them, Hey, hey.
Speaker 2 (22:54):
Make another bad call in the game, don't go deep,
don't play. That's way we get you out here. Put
you're on the bus that brought you in here. We
get you out of here. You'll never coach here again.
You're never coach another down.
Speaker 1 (23:11):
Well, I mean listen, if you're gonna get out of there,
go to home depot because you can get tools to
perform at the highest level on every job without compromise.
When you shot Makeda at the home depot and the
job calls for the best call on Makita built to
be the best available at the home depot out pros
get more done. We forgot to mention this earlier though
it's a football Friday. It's a damn football Friday.
Speaker 3 (23:30):
Bar you know what up?
Speaker 10 (23:32):
Bar?
Speaker 2 (23:33):
What up?
Speaker 3 (23:33):
Sticks Sunday?
Speaker 11 (23:44):
Come on yet here, come on, let's do it. Let's
do it, Briddy, I'll do it, Braddy.
Speaker 3 (23:58):
Here we go.
Speaker 7 (24:00):
It is.
Speaker 11 (24:03):
I'm really going to feel it's name.
Speaker 3 (24:14):
That's all I'm saying. That's all I'm saying. Keep it
in your mouth?
Speaker 2 (24:19):
Is that cod boy? He must have been high as
a kite when you see it in your mouth.
Speaker 3 (24:25):
Good God.
Speaker 1 (24:26):
By the way, if you ever wanted to try an
Olympic and Paralympic sport, why don't you try fencing. It's fast,
safe and easy to start from the beginner class near
you at USA Fencing dot org slash try fencing. That's
USA Fencing dot org slash try fencing. So up next
here some people figure it out. We are going to
uh get through their sums.
Speaker 3 (24:47):
Yeah I too.
Speaker 1 (24:49):
We are going to take a closer look ahead to
the biggest games in the NFL this weekend because we
are going to spread them. It's our picks against the
spread and they're yours right here on f s R.
But thanks to Home Serf for sponsoring this show. Look,
owning a home is amazing until it's not. One minute
you're sipping coffee, the next your ankle deep and water
(25:11):

Speaker 2 (28:31):

What are we looking at here between Lebarnbrieu.
Speaker 5 (28:35):
Huh, Well, the first placeman himself happens to not even
be here today. That's Brady Wins.
Speaker 2 (28:45):
Wins.
Speaker 5 (28:48):
He's at fifty five and thirty seven on the year
right now, he's got a batting average at five ninety eight.
Speaker 3 (28:55):
Or why are you.
Speaker 2 (28:56):
Shaking your hat?
Speaker 1 (28:56):
Man?
Speaker 3 (28:57):
It's ridiculous.
Speaker 5 (29:03):
Second place is the man laughing himself over here Jonas
knocks locks forty one forty three, batting average four eighty eight.
Speaker 2 (29:15):
And then third place, we have love our sticks picks
I'm talking about.
Speaker 3 (29:23):
I don't care. Still got a chance here? I don't
I don't care.
Speaker 5 (29:28):
You're not that far behind your batting averages for sixty stone.
Speaker 3 (29:31):
I don't like that either.
Speaker 4 (29:32):
I don't like how y'all try to like pacify me
and I'm cool. I don't care for this segment. Well,
and coaches talked while we're at it, both of them segments.
Speaker 1 (29:43):
All right, ran last time, Mike, I don't even care.
All right, So what do we got up for this week?
Speaker 3 (29:48):
All right? So I hate them?
Speaker 2 (29:50):
Well, the first game, we have Packers at Bears.
Speaker 5 (29:53):
All right, we have the Green Bay Packers on the
road going up against Jonas Knox's Chicago Bears. Packers are
one and a half point favorite.
Speaker 3 (30:01):
There has been an update on this.
Speaker 2 (30:03):
Oh yes, the.
Speaker 3 (30:05):
Bears are now the one and a half point favorite.
So let's go. Yeah, so there's been that line changed. Uh,
very interesting. I'm money lining green.
Speaker 2 (30:16):
Beer sticks picks. All right, Jonas?
Speaker 1 (30:21):
All right, so I've been like looking over this stuff
because I went back through and I was broke down
play after.
Speaker 2 (30:26):
Play of the all twenty twos, and I just.
Speaker 1 (30:31):
Because they just played like less than two weeks ago.
Speaker 5 (30:38):
I think the Bears might just one and a half
knocks locks Bears heard Jonas?
Speaker 3 (30:45):
Okay, Brady hasn't made his pic suhit.
Speaker 2 (30:47):
No, Brady has not. Sorry, when's when's I love that drop?
Speaker 3 (30:58):
By the way, did they.
Speaker 14 (30:59):
Were messaging me? They were so upset.
Speaker 3 (31:01):
I'm sure they were because I bark played it. He'd
have to have a cigarette.
Speaker 4 (31:05):
O god, Oh, such a great comeback to what we're
gonna say to now. I'm not going to touch it
with anything here, broadcast profession. Such a guy has such
an easy comeback for what she said. Well, moving on
(31:27):
to the next game we have, she'd be playing like
she loves it too. That's that's the crazy part about it.
Show him shot away.
Speaker 2 (31:35):
From it week my de ray.
Speaker 4 (31:38):
Okay, all right, go ahead, back gohad be Peroni Cowboys.
Speaker 5 (31:46):
Well, I'm not playing in this game, but the b
Perona cowboy says.
Speaker 2 (31:50):
The next game is Buccaneers and Panthers. All right, that's right.
Speaker 5 (31:53):
We have the Dampa Bay Buccaneers on the road taking
on the Carolina Panthers in Carolina books are three favorites, Jones,
you get to go first.
Speaker 1 (32:03):
To use a LeVar term, every team in this division
has boned me for weeks now. Carolina boned me last week.
Tampa Bay's boned me multiple times over.
Speaker 4 (32:27):
What's so why not get boned one more time? Like,
let's go take it, take it, take it. What's the difference?
Speaker 1 (32:34):
Come on, I'll take the Bucks minus three knocks Loucks.
I just I'm gonna I'm gonna bet on Todd Bowles
firing those guys up. But if I lose this game,
I'm never betting on the NFC South again ever, Like
I will excuse myself moving forward from any NFC South
(32:57):
bats if that's the case.
Speaker 3 (32:59):
Tired of it.
Speaker 4 (32:59):
I'm on Elon in Carolina sticks picks.
Speaker 5 (33:04):
All right, that's the second money line for VAR. Here
on the third game, we have Lorena.
Speaker 2 (33:11):
Jaguars aid Broncos. That is right, good one, thank you,
thank you.
Speaker 5 (33:15):
The Jacksonville Jaguars are on the road taking on Coops
Denver Broncos. Broncos are three point favorites at home. Var,
you get to go first.
Speaker 3 (33:25):
Broncos will cover.
Speaker 2 (33:29):
Stick's picks. Yeah.
Speaker 1 (33:32):
Look, I know Trevor Lawrence, who hopped out of the
painting in Ghostbusters two to have a five touchdown performance
last week six if you count the rushing touchdown.
Speaker 2 (33:42):
I know that he's like, you know, everyone's looking at.
Speaker 1 (33:45):
This going, yeah, this is the year. This is really
the year that Bronco defense is nasty. They're going to
get him to make mistakes, and I think Denver Lorena's
Denver Broncos cover as.
Speaker 4 (33:58):
A three point I thought it was Lorena's Packers knocks
locks depends on which, depends which friend I'm with.
Speaker 2 (34:06):
That was the Cowboys. Wait ray, Mama, Wait, wait on?
Speaker 3 (34:16):
How about them Jets? How about say I guess she's
a gentleman too.
Speaker 2 (34:22):
Jeez, well number four she.
Speaker 3 (34:25):
Said it, not me.
Speaker 2 (34:26):
Hey, carry on, everybody by carry on?
Speaker 3 (34:30):
Oh my god?
Speaker 5 (34:30):
All right, okay, Well, the fourth game we got going
for us, it's not the Jets but.
Speaker 7 (34:35):
The Patriots and Ravens.
Speaker 5 (34:41):
It's the New England Patriots on the road taking on
the Baltimore Ravens. And Baltimore Ravens are three point favorites.
And I'm gonna go jonas you go first.
Speaker 3 (34:53):
I'm money Line in New England.
Speaker 2 (34:56):
Sticks picks, all right, swooping in. Let's go. Oh my god,
do I really want to do this?
Speaker 4 (35:05):
I'm going to do what Board's doing. I'm going to
money Line as well. He might a shame them out
of doing it.
Speaker 3 (35:11):
Just now.
Speaker 1 (35:12):
He might do it now, he still might do it. Yeah,
he wants to, he wants to. I'll take Baltimore minus
three knocks.
Speaker 5 (35:19):
Locks, all right, and our final game for this is stravaganza.
Speaker 2 (35:24):
We have Lorena forty nine ers and Colts.
Speaker 5 (35:27):
We have the San Francisco forty nine ers on the road.
Digging on Philip Rivers is in Indianapolis, Cults. Indian Indianapolis
Niners are five and a half point favorites on the road. Gentlemen,
Niners will cover oo oo.
Speaker 2 (35:46):
Sticks picks. He's a good one, Jonas.
Speaker 3 (35:51):
I'll take the Colts on the money line.
Speaker 2 (35:53):
O knocks locks. All right, and there we have it.
Speaker 14 (35:58):
What well, look at you, Jonas.
Speaker 2 (36:02):
I think you just want to go money line just
because you didn't.
Speaker 3 (36:05):
Yeah, I'm gonna defend my guy, Philip Rivers.
Speaker 4 (36:07):
I'm glad you chose that one, because that's the worst
money line of the week.
Speaker 3 (36:11):
Philip.
Speaker 1 (36:12):
Philip Rivers walked off the set of Gettysburg last week,
was out there slinging it with a chance to win
that game in Seattle. You're gonna get it done at home,
extra time to prepare you lose two points on that
money line. Oh, you guys don't play by those rules.
Speaker 3 (36:27):
Yeah we do.
Speaker 1 (36:28):
I've been telling you there's something that's while I'm down
so far, there's some fishy bookkeeping when it comes to
this whole thing. That's why I'm down so far is
because you lose more than one like we put. We
put the calculator in the hands of Braden T. Quinn
and he has boned us. Why are you playing your
theme song again? Why you do that?
Speaker 14 (36:46):
Because we aren't we the ones who are supposed to
like count the points or something. Is it Brady who's
doing it now?
Speaker 2 (36:50):
Well, he will do it.
Speaker 1 (36:52):
Brady entrusted Lee to do that years ago, but that
didn't go well.
Speaker 3 (36:57):
So he did a great job. Yeah, hey Lee.
Speaker 1 (37:02):

Speaker 14 (38:39):
I am so excited for these leftovers. I just found
them in the back of the fridge right now. Actually,
do you guys own a nutcracker at all?
Speaker 1 (38:48):
Yeah?
Speaker 3 (38:49):
Several?
Speaker 14 (38:50):
The hot Cracker is going to San Diego.
Speaker 2 (38:54):
Let's go.
Speaker 3 (38:55):
I don't know if you know what that means. Uh,
it's a musical correct, that's my homie. Oh my god.
Speaker 5 (39:05):
So anyways, you put nuts in his mouth?
Speaker 2 (39:09):
Yeah, you good to go.
Speaker 4 (39:11):
I don't think anybody I got a super big one,
I got super little ones.
Speaker 3 (39:14):
I got them all around, these.
Speaker 14 (39:16):
In all sizes, in all different nuts. But anyways, I
do want to talk about this. Tony Hawk is going
to be performing at the Golden State Ballet's Nutcracker this
Saturday at EPM showing. He's going to be skateboarding on
the stage.
Speaker 1 (39:28):
Boy, when I think of the Nutcracker, I think of skateboarding.
Speaker 3 (39:32):
Sweet, what are we doing here?
Speaker 2 (39:35):
I think it's so fun? And it's like, what are
you going to.
Speaker 1 (39:37):
Give communion at a rave next week? It makes any sense, Jesus,
we're talking about here, Communion here's in town. Hey, let's
get Tony Hawk to do some free eighties or whatever
they're called.
Speaker 14 (39:53):
So, according to the ballet company. They decided to do
this unlikely collaboration and just sent out a any invitation
and his daughter, Tony Hawk's daughter, who loves musical theater,
was like, Dad, you have to do it.
Speaker 3 (40:05):
So she kind of was that.
Speaker 11 (40:06):
Push to make him.
Speaker 2 (40:07):
Would you do it?
Speaker 3 (40:08):
This might be the worst?
Speaker 1 (40:11):
No, No, it's the worst one.
Speaker 14 (40:18):
You're not going to go on Saturday because I was
thinking about buying some tickets.
Speaker 3 (40:24):
No, No, I can I ask you a question.
Speaker 1 (40:26):
I didn't you made a comment that nut actual nutcrackers
are meant for I thought.
Speaker 2 (40:32):
They were just for wall nuts. They are for walnuts, right.
Speaker 1 (40:35):
Do you think there's different sizes for like pistachios.
Speaker 14 (40:39):
And other No, you know, but you know walnuts do
come in different sizes too. They're not all one size. Really, yeah,
but there are multiple size nutcrackers.
Speaker 4 (40:47):
I did not know that there was different sized walnuts.
Speaker 2 (40:50):
Well, they have to grow.
Speaker 14 (40:51):
They don't just pop out of the ground like that,
do they?
Speaker 2 (40:55):
Or out of it.
Speaker 3 (40:55):
They seem to all be like.
Speaker 14 (41:00):
Yeah, I'm gonna buy a bag of walnuts and a
nutcracker and we shall do this next week. Fellas, I'm excited,
almost underrated. I still need to do my Christmas shopping.
I haven't finished any of that yet.
Speaker 2 (41:10):
I'm getting everyone socks.
Speaker 3 (41:12):
It's gonna be.
Speaker 2 (41:13):
There are different size walnuts. I knew it. Let's go.
Speaker 3 (41:18):
I knew it. I love what I'm right. There's a
normal walnut, and then there's a it's called a brother Walt.
