Speaker 1 (01:43):
Fim let please riverside. So congratulations to the Dallas Mavericks.
Big time win, near historic blowout beat down.
Speaker 3 (02:00):
Spot is the booze on Friday.
Speaker 1 (02:04):
You're not buying the results, bru.
Speaker 3 (02:06):
It's the boosh.
Speaker 1 (02:07):
Yeah.
Speaker 4 (02:08):
How you come back and win a game like that
when you haven't been nowhere near good enough the entire series?
Speaker 1 (02:15):
Well, I mean it helps when the other team pulls
everybody in the third quarter.
Speaker 4 (02:19):
Okay, so you know, I mean, let's win it everybody's like, yeah,
they threw the game because they want to win it
at home, Like what what? That was kind of petrosis.
I just I think that for me, in my own
mind and my emotions, it did more damage to the
(02:42):
credibility of the NBA than it did. Like I can
see them winning a nail biter eking their way out
of it. Like you go from beating them three times
the way that you have the same exact way, and
now all of a sudden, in an elimination game, they're
(03:07):
able to blow.
Speaker 3 (03:09):
Them out, not just beat them, blow them out.
Speaker 1 (03:12):
Yeah, I don't. It's like I'm seeing so and I
know why people want to do this, and they're like, well,
you know what, what can they take with him from
that game that will carry over to Game five. It's like, well,
first of all, and first of all, the game may
as well have been six months ago. I mean this
three days. You know, the game was on Friday, and
we've got to wait Saturday and Sunday, and then it
(03:34):
comes back. It's like it's so long ago and you're
going back to Boston. The series is over. It's not
a matter of if it's when the Celtics haven't lost
three straight all year. They're not going to lose four
straight to Dallas. This is not happening. We have no
idea whether or not Porzingis is going to be available
or used in this game. He was available in certain
(03:55):
situations for Game four, so I'm assuming that it'll probably
be the same, if not better, for Game five. Like
the series is over. That's a wrap and it's probably
over later tonight. Boston's a six and a half point favorite,
courtesy of our friends at DraftKings, So they're gonna wrap
it up. They'll they'll close it out tonight, and if
it's not tonight, it'll be the next game. Like the
(04:16):
series is over. What's interesting though, is Kyrie Irving was
speaking with the media over the weekend and he was
talking about obviously not you know, not exactly a fan
favorite in Boston. People are upset about what happened with
him in his time with the Celtics. He was injured,
he was promised that he promised he was going to
(04:37):
sign a long term deal there. Then as it turned out,
he would not be signing a long term deal there.
He was trying to orchestrate a pairing with Kevin Durant
and he was caught on camera doing so at the
All Star Game, I believe to go to Brooklyn. All
of that led to him not being very liked by
Celtics fans, him wiping his feet on the Celtics logo,
(04:58):
and Friday Night was actually the first game he's won
since he's done that. So he has not had a
good run and they've been all over him and it's
bothered him. Well, he at least fessed up to his
role and maybe not embracing everything that went on in Boston.
Here was Kyrie Irving talking with the media getting traded here.
Speaker 5 (05:18):
This wasn't one of my options, you know, it wasn't
like number one on my list. So when the trade
opportunity got approached to me, you know, instead of going
back and appreciating the Celtics history, I just came in
with an open mind and just kind of like, all right,
I'm just gonna go with the flow into this. But
I think that was the wrong approach hindsight, looking back
on it, I definitely would have taken the time to
(05:39):
get to know people within the community, talk to some
of the champions that have come before me, actually extend
myself to them. Instead of the other way around, expecting
them to be there for me and give me advice
because they've been through it. They have championship pedigree here,
They've shown it for years. They're one of the most
winnings and franchise in all of sports. I think that's
what I struggle with initially was figuring out how going
(06:00):
to be a great player here while winning championships WHI
also leading a team and selflessly joining the Celtics organization
or the cult that they have here, you know, and
that's what they expect you to do as as a player.
They expect you to seamlessly buy into the Celtics pride,
buy into everything Celtics, and if you don't, then you'll
be out it.
Speaker 1 (06:18):
And I'm one of the people that's on the outs,
all right, so I've already seen it. Because he used
the word cult, that's what people are going to take
from that instead of that's as thoughtful of a response
and an answer and admission that I could have been
better or handled things differently if I was a little
(06:38):
bit more mature at the time like he was spot on.
I thought handled it great, discussed it great, It was
thought out, thoughtful, whatever terminology you want to use. He
did a great job with that. But because it's Kyrie
and because he used the word cult, he's going to
get some heed for it, guaranteed. And I've already seen
some of the pop up.
Speaker 3 (07:00):
You know what, who cares? If you got a problem
with what he said, who cares?
Speaker 1 (07:06):
He's being honest.
Speaker 4 (07:07):
You always, you know, people always want what they want right.
If you tell them the truth, it was too much
of a truth. If you don't tell them the truth,
you didn't tell them enough of the truth. Like one
which one wins, which one loses, they both lose in
this scenario. In this situation, you don't want to like
Kyrie Irving if you don't like Kyrie Irving, and as
(07:28):
it applies to being a boss and Celtics fan, so
there's no reason to like get caught up and lost
into all of the translation of what it is that
it represents. You chose to have the feelings you have
towards Kyrie Irving because of the way it all played out.
He just told you you were right or correct, and
feeling as though he could have done better in terms
(07:50):
of connecting with you the fans, or connecting with you
the media or even the officials at the you know,
at the franchise.
Speaker 3 (07:58):
Whatever I could have did it better?
Speaker 4 (08:00):
Good for him, Yeah, good for him and being humble
enough and being forward enough and transparent enough to say
how he feels while in the biggest series of his
career currently and and for what it's worth, take it
or leave it. He gave you, He gave you his
truth and moving on. Like you want to bubble up
(08:21):
and say, oh, it was disingenuous or whatever it is,
like what do you mean we're a cult?
Speaker 3 (08:27):
Like man, shut up? Shut up?
Speaker 1 (08:29):
Yeah? I think yeah, like like.
Speaker 3 (08:31):
Dyil, like what what is your problem? Really?
Speaker 2 (08:34):
What?
Speaker 3 (08:35):
What? Oh? He can't say that about us? Wow? What's
the who cares?
Speaker 1 (08:40):
Yeah, it's like there's but look a lot of this
is and yeah they have some you know, some things
in common. But I think this also there's a lot
of things like Kyrie Irving can say things or do
things and he gets viewed and judged differently, and it's
it kind of reminds me a little bit like Aaron
(09:01):
And it's because they've been outspoken or said some things
that people have not liked, or made some decisions that
people have not liked. Elsewhere and no matter what. They're
not going to be able to win the court of
public opinion.
Speaker 4 (09:13):
They're not everybody not in that court. Yeah, I mean,
think about it. Think about it. A cult, right, is
generally associated with things like religion and politics, right, or
some type of a movie. It has its own particular
special following of people. You know what a fanatic is
(09:38):
a person filled with excessive and single minded zeal, especially
for an extreme religious or political cause. Meaning we apply
fan fandom fanatics to sports, but in reality, the true
definition of it is connected to politics and religion.
Speaker 3 (10:00):
So the point of it is, you know what, you
call yourself.
Speaker 4 (10:04):
A Boston fan, then there's a chance that you're a
part of the colt that is the Boston Celtics fan base.
Like geez, come on, y'all need me to be breaking
it down to y'all like this, you know what it is,
you know how you feel about it. And you got
all of these Boston Celtic fans coming out of the
woodwork because they're about to get a championship, a record
(10:26):
breaking championship in the history of the franchise. And then
the NBA, like a lot of people haven't been outwardly
Celtics fans. In fact, you guys have been under a
lot of fire because y'all come up short. Y'all were
turning into a Dallas type team in the NFL. Y'all
was coming up real short in the big games. Now
(10:47):
you don't come up short. And here's the funny thing
about it is, you got people like Joe l Embiid
out here. You got people talking head like, hey, look,
if we wasn't injured, Celtics wouldn't even be in this game.
It'd be the same old story that we've been talking about.
And I'm dad, and I'm a meaning as happy as
we are as people are, and those fanatics in Boston
(11:10):
are about the Boston Celtics right now, I'm not so
sure that Joel Embiid isn't accurate. Do you make it
through the Boss the seventy six ers, do you make it.
Speaker 3 (11:24):
Through the Bucks?
Speaker 4 (11:27):
Like guys were injured in the East, the East was
a relatively easy side to go through to get to
the big Game. I'm just saying, yeah, I'm just saying
Indiana wasn't ready to make it to the Eastern Finals.
Speaker 3 (11:45):
That wasn't a team that was supposed to be there.
Speaker 1 (11:48):
Yeah, I mean listen the path. If people want to argue,
like what was the harder path, who had the more
difficult path? How their path stacked up? Like, if we
want to play that game, we can play that game.
I'm sure a lot of years if they win the title.
They are the best team in the NBA. They were
the best team wire to wire. Like it's not like
they had was every team they beat when they won
what sixty six games in the regular season or sixty
(12:09):
four games? Were all those teams injured? Like, it's come on,
they're the best team in basketball. It's a seven game series.
It's going to play out that way, and it's probably
gonna end later on tonight. And for those of you
that are upset with Kyrie Irving call on your fan
base a cult. You'll get an opportunity to let them
know in Boston if you're there and you can afford tickets, which,
by the way, what's the cheapest ticket to get into
(12:30):
that game later on tonight? Lee, what do you want
to bet it is lebar? What would you say cheapest.
Speaker 4 (12:35):
Cheapest team ticket? Probably like seven hundred dollars. I was
five hundred dollars.
Speaker 1 (12:41):
I was gonna go like four hundred.
Speaker 3 (12:44):
I'm gonna say, man, this is this is a close
out game.
Speaker 4 (12:47):
This is a close out game. I mean maybe a
nosebleed is like four hundred dollars maybe.
Speaker 1 (12:52):
Lee, what are we looking at that?
Speaker 3 (12:53):
It's not only a.
Speaker 4 (12:54):
Close out game, but it's a record setting, a record
breaking championship game.
Speaker 3 (13:00):
Well, I mean it's historical.
Speaker 1 (13:01):
Well, I mean, if we're being honest, like they still
do have the record because the Lakers they won in
the Bubble is a half title, so they don't have seventeen.
They've got sixteen and a half. So yeah, I mean
it's already so you know, this would just be extending
the lead. Lee, what's the cheapest ticket to get into
that game tonight? H thirteen hundred dollars? Thirteen hundred for
(13:22):
a nose bleed? That's what I'm seeing. Ooh Jesus, all right,
Well you imagine paying thirteen hundred dollars to sit in
the nosebleeds and it's like, hey, so how was it?
It was awesome? Okay, what'd you see they won the title? Yeah?
I did two on TV.
Speaker 3 (13:43):
I saw it screen.
Speaker 1 (13:45):
Yeah, there's like I would rather for that part.
Speaker 4 (13:48):
Big screen was in person, not on my couch so
I could hear it and feel it the energy of
it in person while watching it on the Jumbo tron
and you had to watch it on your TV, which
I would still say is as I got the same.
Speaker 1 (14:01):
Feeling you found sub for a thousand, Oh, I see, thanks,
it's a bargain and is that with fees, because that's
where they get you, the the fees involved, or where
they really screwe over. That's why a lot of people
are upset with I think it's Ticketmaster and some other
places because the Yeah, that's why whenever you look for
prices on there, you always got to click the tab
(14:22):
that says include fees because that kind of changes the
way you're shopping for stuff. From my experience, it is
the two pros and a cup of Joe. Here on
Fox Sports Radio, LeVar Arrington Jonas Knocks of the Year
coming up next year. Though, on the from the tiraq
dot Com studios, it's back. I mean, if anybody wants
to go ahead and have the argument, have the debate,
(14:43):
it's back. There's plenty on the table for you. You
will hear from somebody involved right here on FSR.

Speaker 1 (15:35):
Two Pros and a Cup of Joe. Here on Fox
Sports Radio, LaVar Arrington, Jonas Knox with you. We are
going to have another edition of You In and You
Out coming up here a little over twenty minutes from
now from the Tirak dot com studios. All right, here
we go again. Are you ready for a little piping
(15:56):
hot WNBA talk? Because we had a flagrant foul in
a WNBA game yesterday and it was Angel Reese on
Caitlin Clark. I don't know if you saw the play,
but it was a foul and it was called correctly,
(16:16):
it was a flagrant. But it is now turned into
another hot debate, people arguing one side of the fence
or the other. And of course, somehow, some way this
has turned into a race thing. This is where this
is gone. People lived picksides. Not surprisingly, Lee is on
the side of Angel Reese. But that's a whole nother
(16:37):
story for a whole nother time. But let's hear from
first Angel Reese regarding the play and the physicality in
the game for Inside.
Speaker 7 (16:46):
I mean, I think we were playing really hard.
Speaker 1 (16:49):
I think we went up really strong a lot of times,
and we didn't get a lot of calls.
Speaker 8 (16:53):
And going back at to looking at the film, I've
seen a lot of calls that weren't made.
Speaker 1 (16:57):
I guess some people got a special whistle, all right,
So oh yeah, so there's uh there, So there's that.
And then Caitlyn Clark uh talked about Angel Reese and
just what the growing of the game has become with
their involvement in it.
Speaker 8 (17:17):
I think, you know, what she's done with her platform
has been absolutely incredible, and you know, she has an
entire fan base that hasn't supported her and what she
did at you know, Marylynd and then LSU. Like obviously
I've played her for a very long time and she's
been a tremendous player, So you know, it's been fun
getting to compete against. I think it's been really good
for the game, Like people just love seeing great matchups,
but also at the same time, like people tune in
for these matchups, but then they get to see how
(17:38):
amazing these teams are, and then they find new players
to support and continue to come back for them too,
So I think that's another benefit of it, honestly.
Speaker 4 (17:46):
So you know what I've come to the conclusion of
with all of this w NBA talk and Angel Reese
and kitlynk.
Speaker 3 (17:55):
Clark, what's that I've been watching television and there's so.
Speaker 4 (18:03):
Many resources, so much money tied in to Kitlyn Clark,
and I think I think the force feeding of Kitlyn
Clark and all of the coverage is a symptom of
how much how much it it it's important for her
(18:27):
to remain a focal point until these companies get an
r OI on their investment with her. Yeah, and and
and so to me, this just is not and and
and people may think I'm hating. I really don't care
because I really don't have a dog in the fight.
I have no reason to hate on Katelyn Clark. I
(18:50):
have no reason to hate on the w NBA. For
people to think that the w NBA brand is like
got this crazy growth out of it because of Angel
Reese and Kitlyn Clark, you're delusional. It's it's it is.
If there is any growth to the sport and the
(19:10):
popularity of the sport, it's because it's probably continue to
organically grow in a lot of ways that it grew
in other years past.
Speaker 3 (19:21):
You don't think this is not a phenomenon.
Speaker 1 (19:23):
Well, I I you don't think it's not. You don't
think that Caitlyn Clark is the reason why the sport
is being covered as much as it is.
Speaker 4 (19:31):
Like, Okay, so we're saying the sport, the sport is
being covered. I'm I'm saying that Caitlyn Clark is being covered.
Tell me what happened in any of these games, Jonas,
listen to challenge. Let's challenge non w NBA people who
generally have watched the w NBA but before Caitlin Clark,
(19:53):
tell them to tell you what has happened in a
w NBA game.
Speaker 1 (19:57):
Let me let me I want to make this perfectly
clear to every nobody listening, and I don't care who
this offends. I haven't watched any WNBA like a I
am not interested at all. I've seen bits and pieces,
some highlights, but as far as like an actual game,
sit down and watch it, not a shot in hell.
Speaker 4 (20:15):
Like I'm telling you, the coverage, then the coverage is
what is captivating to the audiences.
Speaker 3 (20:23):
It's the coverage, and the.
Speaker 4 (20:24):
Coverage is basically these major companies that have put money
into Kitlin Clark. The WNBA probably has sold these companies
on it, being the WNBA and Kitlin Clark, and you're
seeing the coverage on those channels, on those stations. It's
namely the biggest station that does coverage on Kitlin Clark probably.
Speaker 1 (20:47):
ESPN Okay one. But like, here's this is also what
I thought about this as well, too, is this has
just continued to go on and on and on, and
people like, first of all, like anybody that let's just
be clear about it. There's a lot of phonies out there.
There's a lot of people acting in media like they
really give a rip about the WNBA. They don't. They're
(21:08):
just jumping on. There's a lot of people pretending like
they actually have a thought out take on the WNBA.
They don't. They just see it trending and they want
to be a part of the new cool trend and
the new cool fad, and that's what they're doing. So
they're jumping on WNBA conversations and discussions.
Speaker 3 (21:24):
That's what's happening the conversation.
Speaker 1 (21:29):
And I said this as well too. I feel bad
for legitimate WNBA fans that have been there the whole time,
who have had their league hijacked by a bunch of
people pretending that they follow the league and know what
the hell is going on.
Speaker 4 (21:41):
I feel bad for legitimate w NBA ballplayers that are
legitimate superstars that are being overlooked for their talent. Tell
me the superstars of the league. Tell me how many
points they had in their last game, tell me when
their last game was. And if you're sitting here and
you're listening to me right now and you were hating
(22:03):
on me and what my.
Speaker 3 (22:05):
Take is, tell me what it is.
Speaker 4 (22:07):
Hell, yeah, you can't because you don't know, and you
know what, you may look it up real quick, so
that you can confirm something that you thought you know
but you didn't know at all, so that you could
actually feel good about saying you're wrong, LeVar, you're wrong.
Here's a superstar. Here's what their point. Yet you weren't
a fan. You If you were a fan, you knew.
(22:30):
If you're a casual approach, you're looking at headlines, all
these people that are writing these things and covering Caitlin
Clark and adding Angel Rees to the conversation and this,
that and the other. This is not the w NBA
sport growing people. It's coverage of an athlete. And you're
(22:51):
looking at what the coverage is on ESPN. That's what
it is. I mean everything else that kind of the
tentacles that come from it are the tentacles that come
from it. And if you want to pay attention to
it in a different social forum or on a different platform,
then that's what you're doing. But nobody is sitting here
(23:12):
and it's like, oh my gosh, the explosive growth of
what the w n B A is now and the
coverage and the ratings and all the man get out
of here.
Speaker 1 (23:22):
Do you like do you like the do you like
the racial component that is popped up in this whole thing.
Speaker 3 (23:29):
But that was where it was. That's where it was
at in college.
Speaker 1 (23:32):
Hey, let's do this since everybody else is full of
crap on the w NBA conversations, how about you take
Caitlin Clark's side. I'll take Angel Reese. Let's just throw
everybody for a loop.
Speaker 4 (23:41):
They did that in college. They did that to the
two of them when they were in college. You got
you got h have both sides of it, like you said,
you got both sides of it, like you take it.
I mean Caitlyn Clark, Kitlyn Clark jumping up in people,
it's talking about f F that and like let's e
(24:01):
F and go and dad. It's like, oh my gosh,
she's so passionate. She's, Oh my goodness, just what an
amazing competitor. Angel rees throw up the hand and put
the finger on me, wring me in the girl's face.
It's like, oh, how gaddow, Oh my goodness. Just the
lack of class connected to what a classless act?
Speaker 3 (24:24):
Like? Shut up, like, why do you even care?
Speaker 1 (24:31):
How many w NBA games have you watched this year?
I know you wrote you're not a season ticket older though,
for sure.
Speaker 3 (24:36):
I have watched zero w NBA games.
Speaker 1 (24:39):
Yeah that's I think that's three more than me. Okay, okay,
by the way, you know what I watched yesterday? Horse
racing and Emerald Downs.
Speaker 4 (24:49):
Know what I watched yesterday and was like, get me
to this point, get get fans to this point. I
was on flights all day long yesterday coming back Knoxville,
and on the on the on the plane ride home,
I'm looking at live TV on satellite TV in the air,
and you know what, I was excited about and had
(25:10):
to get home and get myself situated, sit down, and
and and and really be relaxed and ready to go.
House of Dragons. House the Dragons was coming on nice.
The season premiere came on last night, and you know what,
I was ready to go.
Speaker 3 (25:26):
And I bet you.
Speaker 4 (25:27):
There were a whole lot of other people that was
ready to go to see how they kicked off the season.
Speaker 3 (25:32):
It did not discippet.
Speaker 1 (25:34):
You know what I watched on the flight back from
Chicago a couple of weeks. I know I always watched those,
but you know, but uh, I watched The Iron Claw.
Have you seen The Iron Claw? It's a movie?
Speaker 3 (25:48):
Yeah?
Speaker 1 (25:48):
What about the van Erks and listen, pretty good movie,
but as somebody who kind of knows the true story, yeah,
a little exaggerated.
Speaker 3 (25:57):
You know what I didn't do.
Speaker 4 (25:59):
I didn't too in to see if I could find
a w NBA you didn't want. Man, I was in
Tennessee while the World Series of College Baseball is going on,
and you know what, that was interesting. I watched a
little bit of that. There were watch parties. Still wasn't
a part of that.
Speaker 1 (26:17):
Like you know, listen, we're knee deep in the middle
of the NBA Finals. There's always NFL stories. You had
a great finish at the US Open, There's Major League
Baseball going There's a lot going on. I'm not going
to be judged and ridiculed if I'm not following the
w NBA storm that everybody else is caught up in.
I'm sorry and I'm not going to apologize for it.
(26:39):
I'm not going to feel bad about it. And anybody
that tries to make us feel bad about not caring
and pretending to care, like a bunch of these other
phonies that do a sports television and sports radio r
when it comes to the w NBA, you could screw
off like I'm sorry.
Speaker 3 (26:55):
I'm sorry.
Speaker 4 (26:55):
It's it is a forced fed agenda of trying to
figure out a way to gain This is probably the
w NBA's only and best opportunity to build and gain
some momentum for the popularity of the sport. That's just
like saying that we're going to build and grow the
popularity of tackle women's football or flag football for women
(27:19):
or whatever it may be.
Speaker 3 (27:20):
I am not going to sit here and act.
Speaker 4 (27:23):
As though, because for the sake of saying it so,
I'm not canceled or anything like that, that it is
remotely even close to having an opportunity to be as
relevant as as the NFL or the NBA, because it's not.
Speaker 1 (27:37):
Well listen, well, listen, we do have a WNBA season
ticket holder on the line. He is a season ticket
holder of the I believe they're called the Dublin Shamrocks.
Did he all? Did he hang up? Did he drop
lely all? Bastard? Well, I'm not even going to say
(27:58):
who called draw, I'm gonna say who called in?
Speaker 4 (28:01):
Of course you d what are you gonna come on
here and get get like humiliated by the conversation that's
about to ensue, Like what are you getting on here.
Speaker 1 (28:09):
To talk about get this work?
Speaker 8 (28:11):
Wow?
Speaker 3 (28:12):
You could get it if you want to. I wasn't.
Speaker 4 (28:15):
I chose I chose peace this morning. But if you
want to jump on, if you try to talk about
how this thing is different than what I'm saying, I
mean I could choose ballads real quick.
Speaker 1 (28:25):
Yeah, I believe me. Uh, let's see if if he
is back, we are. We are efforting h a w
n b A season ticket holder to try and see
whether who is it?
Speaker 3 (28:43):
Is it Berto? Berto? Got some time? He's listening to us?
Why he hit the person and and drive?
Speaker 1 (28:50):
It's not it's not right right letter though, right pac man,
right letter, right letter of the first name? By the way,
is it me? Or did Tom Brady look like he
is seven feet taller than Joel Clatten Kurt Menafee like
he's tall?
Speaker 3 (29:05):
He's a tall dude.
Speaker 4 (29:06):
Hey, but let's go back to the original point before
you take us to the break. The original point is,
let's let's talk about this. How many wins does the
Fever have? How many wins does the team that they
were playing against half? How close to the top of
the w n B A are those two teams? I
don't know, man, And how do they compare to the
(29:27):
other teams that are in the w n B A
who's the top player in the w NBA, who's the
top team that played in won doing over the weekend?
Speaker 1 (29:35):
Look, I got my own problems. I bet on Rory
McElroy to win, and he he fuffled the bag yesterday.
So like, I can't concern myself with And listen, people
are already upset. They're already tweeting outrage that you know
that we're not falling falling in line when it comes
to w NBA coverage. Look, I don't have to tell
you I got.
Speaker 3 (29:53):
Priority coverage of katelynk Clark. Coverage of katelynk Clark.
Speaker 4 (29:59):
Like, let's be clear here, Okay, the Indiana Fever four
and ten played a Chicago team that happens to have
how many wins Jonas four wins? Yeah, you have a
four and ten team and a four and eight team
and they're being headlined on television right now. They just
got a mention from Eddie during the update right now
(30:20):
to four and ten team four win teams. Come on, y'all,
don't be so dope, like like just you know, come on,
let's be clear here. You're talking about two SI teams,
two SI teams, and we're talking about this is driving
the popularity of the w NBA because Angel Reese swung
the back the ball down and hit her upside the head, Like, come.
Speaker 1 (30:42):
On, and by the way, we've chosen sides. I'm team
Angel Reese.
Speaker 4 (30:46):
All right, well my team, I'm team I don't give
a damn.
Speaker 3 (30:51):
How about that?
Speaker 4 (30:53):
Yeah, now the Fever have five wins and the Scotts
still have four.
Speaker 1 (31:01):
Throw with you like what you.
Speaker 3 (31:03):
Showing press conferences. It's force feeding.
Speaker 4 (31:06):
If people are so shallow and so simple that they
don't understand what's going on, you're being force fed ADU
a dual situation that developed when Angel Reaches put the
ring on her finger when they played each other the
year before. They're seeing their last years in college. It
continued on. Your Angel Rees got round one, Caitlin Clark
(31:30):
got round two, even though she didn't win a national title.
Speaker 3 (31:33):
Oh, by the way, you got a.
Speaker 4 (31:35):
Phenomenon that didn't even win a national title as the tournament.
And now we've taken it into the WNBA. We're going
to grow the w NBA, grow the numbers, grow the
popularity with two four win teams. Oh, one just went
five beating the other one, Like, come on, y'all, y'all
smarter than that. And if you're not, then God bless you.
(31:56):
Because ignorance is bliss they say, I don't know. I'm
ignorant about a lot of things, so it must be blissful.
But I'm not ignorant about this one. Y'all ain't tricking me.
Y'all ain't making me feel like I'm gonna be watching
the WNBA over two four win teams going into the
same game. And she knocks the girl upside the head,
and that's the headline that everybody's covering, and this, that
(32:17):
and the other. Get out of here, man, I hope
about trying to hear that.
Speaker 1 (32:20):
I hope I don't steal your line.
Speaker 3 (32:22):
Save the drama.
Speaker 1 (32:24):
Foe, yo, mama, I mean, I don't want to steal
your show. Prep here but wings and links Later on

Speaker 3 (33:15):
X whatever it is. Let me tell you something, man,
let me tell you something.
Speaker 4 (33:21):
You can be as high and uplifting as you want
to be, and be as much of an apologist as
you want to be, and be a hater of Oh,
we're gossipers, and they would bust my ass and bust
any of our who cares?
Speaker 3 (33:37):
Who cares? By the way, I could care less.
Speaker 4 (33:40):
If a w NBA woman basketball pro player could bust
my ass playing basketball, she should, she's a pro. That
still doesn't mean that it makes the sport any more
relevant than what it is.
Speaker 3 (33:54):
My guy, you probably don't even watch NBA games all
like that. That's why y'all tear it down.
Speaker 4 (33:59):
Nobody's hearing an NBA down, nobody's tearing a WNBA down.
We're speaking reality here right now, Jack, speaking reality. You
might be a basketball enthusiast, that's great. That is not mainstream,
my guy. Nobody's getting on here talking that craziness randomly
about to lose an ass teams.
Speaker 1 (34:20):
And also, by the way, for people like anybody that
gets upset because we're being honest and saying we're not
WNBA watchers like I don't. Look, there's a lot of
stuff that I like that a lot of people in
mainstream sports media don't. I love the UFC, I love boxing,
like there was stuff that went on this weekend and
both those, but we're not talking about it. I'm not
(34:41):
going to get offended if somebody doesn't bring it up
or address it or show the proper respect. You're not
into it, you're not into it. It's fine to each
their own.
Speaker 3 (34:48):
It's like, nobody's into it.
Speaker 1 (34:50):
You gotta fall in line, you gotta And it's like, no,
we're just being honest with me.
Speaker 4 (34:54):
Look here, I just tweeted him, go ask ten random people,
since you're upset with us and we're osipers, and well
we're tearing down to go ask ten random people, and
I say, you got a Washington wizard's jersey on. At
least you ain't one of these dudes that hats behind
a non facial, non picture of profile and talks crazy
(35:14):
and there's a troll. At least you're come in with
some energy and some effort behind, and you own you
standing on it. Go ask ten random people today about
the w NBA games during the course of the last
three four games three four days and see what their
answers are, and you'll know what reality is, my guy. Yeah,
and I'm sure those same women can bust every last
(35:36):
person that you ask. Ask in a basketball game playing basketball,
nobody cares.
Speaker 1 (35:43):
