Speaker 4 (02:08):
I'm okay, Good morning guys. How's everything going. Nice to
hear from you.
Speaker 1 (02:11):
Nice, Nice to talk to you as well. It was
nice seeing you at the Petro some money show remote.
Speaker 2 (02:16):
Yes, he was on his vacation from this show.
Speaker 1 (02:19):
That's all right. I showed up and wanted to say hi,
and I landed.
Speaker 3 (02:22):
He came. He came on the show for five minutes
and then he left.
Speaker 1 (02:27):
I smelled. You know, well, there was bigger guests that
were that needed to come on. Eric Dickerson was waiting. Uh,
that takes priority.
Speaker 3 (02:36):
He was riled up too.
Speaker 1 (02:38):
Why was he so riled up.
Speaker 4 (02:39):
No, he was just in a good mood to really
geek it up for the people. Eric Dickerson's great, especially
when there's people around. He does a great job with
with with crowds and autographs and all that different stuff,
which is pretty remarkable because he's been a Hall of
Famer for quite some time and a pretty good guy.
Speaker 3 (02:58):
So that was nice. Yes, he was there.
Speaker 4 (03:01):
The coach of Thousand Oaks High School was there, Ben McEnroe.
Speaker 3 (03:05):
We had our T shirts.
Speaker 4 (03:07):
We were supposed to have Deshan Foster, but he pulled
out at the last second.
Speaker 3 (03:12):
Wha. Yeah, Well again.
Speaker 2 (03:15):
Maybe not in this instance, but most of it is
a good thing.
Speaker 3 (03:18):
I don't know.
Speaker 4 (03:19):
I mean, we need to proliferate life, right, I mean,
we can't have a societal collass right. We're having trouble
in Japan. They don't have enough people for all the jobs.
Speaker 2 (03:29):
Like your thought process. You know.
Speaker 1 (03:32):
Don McLain was there as well too, Don McClain.
Speaker 4 (03:35):
So, yeah, it was a lot of fun. Thank you
for coming out. We have one more event to end
the summer, and that is a week from Thursday at
the Van's headquarters give Away Coast to Mesa, where we
give away the Petros and Money shoes.
Speaker 3 (03:53):
I think this is like the.
Speaker 4 (03:54):
Tenth year of ten different styles of shoes for that
had been made for the show.
Speaker 2 (04:00):
You had a really dope peer on for the TV show.
You used to do that. Jonah's tried to. They tried
to do the show without.
Speaker 3 (04:09):
Yeah, what's going on? Jonas? You're still going to replace
me on the fall on television.
Speaker 1 (04:13):
I don't know why are we doing this?
Speaker 3 (04:15):
Well? Are you a idea?
Speaker 1 (04:16):
I don't know. I haven't heard anything.
Speaker 3 (04:18):
Okay, I.
Speaker 2 (04:21):
Never tell anybody anything what's going on?
Speaker 4 (04:24):
That's remember that movie with Michael Douglas. I forget the
name of it and I.
Speaker 5 (04:29):
Instinct, No, I saw that one. We talk about that
one in a second. What an interrogation scene. It's actually
a pretty good film. The wir The one great thing
I like about a La guy No no, not with
triple horn.
Speaker 4 (04:46):
But the one thing about basic Instinct that I noticed
past you know what we watched it for when we
were all kids, is just how hostily cocained up all
the time. Michael Douglas scened that like so oh yeah.
Speaker 2 (05:02):
That intense angry energy.
Speaker 4 (05:06):
That was a thing in the eighties where you could
just be like a really just bitting off cocaine angry
guy and be the lead in a movie and people, well,
what's his Yeah, what's his vibe? He's all coked up
and piste off and rip your g string.
Speaker 2 (05:20):
Right off, rip it off?
Speaker 1 (05:22):
Like was it a Romancing the Stone? Like that was
another one.
Speaker 4 (05:25):
Where yeah, that was That's not what I'm thinking of though,
But Romancing the Stone had a great, i think billy
ocean theme which was like a Romance in the Stone,
never Leave it Alone.
Speaker 3 (05:39):
You know.
Speaker 2 (05:39):
It was like yeah, yeah.
Speaker 4 (05:42):
And then there was a really bad sequel to Romancing
the Stone, The Jewel of the Nile.
Speaker 1 (05:48):
Oh yeah, that was a bad one, but.
Speaker 4 (05:49):
It was not Romance in the Stone Never Leave it Alone.
But that being said, the thing I'm thinking of there
was Michael Douglas movie with the girl who she sadly
she passed away.
Speaker 3 (06:06):
Brittany Murphy.
Speaker 4 (06:07):
Oh yeah, and she was the girl and clueless and
all that. Britney Murphy and Michael Douglas had some thriller
where she's like a psycho and a mental warn and
she knows.
Speaker 1 (06:19):
Something's got it Lee, what is it?
Speaker 4 (06:21):
And she goes, oh, never remember that, Remember that it
was in the freaking trailer, and and he's all coped
up and angry, and she's like, oh, never, don't say
a word.
Speaker 1 (06:38):
He's got booger sugar falling out of his shirt. Popeye's oh, yeah, that's.
Speaker 3 (06:46):
Tell me what's going on? You tell me where the
bodies are. Never two hours of that.
Speaker 1 (06:51):
By the way, is he still married to Catherine Zida Jones.
Speaker 3 (06:54):
Yeah, they're very happy. Wow, they are. She broat cancer
from so much oral sex.
Speaker 2 (06:59):
That is true what he says.
Speaker 6 (07:01):
You know, give her credit.
Speaker 1 (07:02):
She can really look past a lot. You know, no
one's gonna get in her way of love, you know,
not not his background reputation. You know.
Speaker 4 (07:09):
You ever see the pictures of her, like nine months pregnant,
just burning a giant Marlborough one hundred.
Speaker 3 (07:16):
Yeah, they're a great couple.
Speaker 1 (07:19):
She was lung duarding.
Speaker 3 (07:22):
Like years and years ago.
Speaker 4 (07:25):
There's pictures of Zita Jones just ripping cigarettes, just huge baked.
Speaker 3 (07:32):
Baby in her stomach. Damn I saw Michael Douglas not.
Speaker 4 (07:39):
Long ago on a on a tar or whatever they
call the paddock for an F one race and with
Catherine Zita Jones and doing an interview with the Great
Martin Brundle, and they seem very nice.
Speaker 1 (07:51):
You know, well, let me listen. You know what else
seems nice? Petros the into It Dome? Are you going?
Speaker 3 (07:57):
Have you been?
Speaker 1 (07:58):
This is huge for the clips. It opens up tomorrow,
I believe.
Speaker 3 (08:03):
Yeah.
Speaker 4 (08:03):
About Bruno Mars, Oh jeez, well did they have a
get a cocaine?
Speaker 1 (08:08):
Yeah, it's say they have any slot machines or Texas
hold'm tables there. He might be a little busy. He
might show up late to the concert. That guy's going
to take the stage so yacked out. Oh man, he's
two foot tall, yacked out Hawaiian guy.
Speaker 3 (08:23):
Time just up there going looks like an et doll.
Speaker 1 (08:29):
He's wearing a Timmy Chang jersey.
Speaker 4 (08:31):
Oh god, Timmy Chang might kick to Sean Foster.
Speaker 3 (08:35):
And the nuts.
Speaker 1 (08:37):
Okay, we were talking about that yesterday or the day
before that. U c l A like, there's a real
chance that it might be a while to they win
a game, just based on the schedule.
Speaker 3 (08:49):
Yeah, I'm not sure.
Speaker 4 (08:50):
I mean, we all right out the gate, we all
say that, and we all look at these schedules, and
we think we know exactly what's going to happen, and
the truth is we don't. My inkling before we get
back into movies, is my inkling is that this is
going to be one of the wildest, at least first
(09:10):
months of the college football season that any of us
have ever experienced. I think we're gonna have that. Yeah,
we're in for a wild ride. I think a lot
of what we think about this team or that team
is going to be flushed down the toilet in Week one.
I don't know how scared people are of Ohio State.
Maybe they should be. I don't know how good Allery
(09:32):
is going to be for Penn State and how they
all be able to navigate through the season. They start
against West Virginia. It's a really good looking football team, yeah,
with Graham with Green, not Graham Green the rider, but
the really good quarterback. And Neil Brown had a pretty
good researching year last year. So all of that stuff,
(09:56):
I think, just in the pot of college it's football
mixed around, is going to be quite a potion when
the year starts and it'll be wild and exciting and
probably very surprising. That's what I That's what I think now.
As far as the Into It Dome goes, I've not been.
I know a bunch of people that have had tours
(10:18):
of it that say it's really cool. They revealed a
bunch of different art pieces a few weeks ago, and
there is one concert there in September that I have
to go to, and it's the Boujou Bonton Revival. To
them nice Boujiu Bonton is out of jail from being
(10:39):
entrapped ten years ago by the FBI for on a
BS cocaine charge. Somebody comes up to you at the
airport and offers you to buy two kilos of cocaine?
Speaker 3 (10:48):
What are you gonna do? How do you know? The
guys an FBI agent?
Speaker 4 (10:54):
So anyway, Bougie Bonton is gonna I can't believe you.
Speaker 3 (10:59):
Yeah, you make an act where you want me to be?
Could you love me for you?
Speaker 2 (11:05):
Uh?
Speaker 3 (11:05):
We strings at that. I want to give you my U.
Speaker 2 (11:09):
No one don't want it back.
Speaker 4 (11:12):
Very impressive, thank you. That's from the Till Shiloh album.
I Believe but is going to play the into it dome.
So that's pretty remarkable.
Speaker 2 (11:21):
I said, oh, by button, No, we can't do that.
Speaker 3 (11:24):
One can't do that one.
Speaker 4 (11:25):
No, that's usually about how much of the song he sings. Uh,
we will will be seeing Bojou there at the end
of it dome. You know, Bruce Springsteen opened up the
Staple Center and then would never play there ever again.
Speaker 3 (11:40):
Why because he hated it that much.
Speaker 4 (11:43):
It's not a great It's not a great venue for
a concert, you know. It's the Staple Center is great,
and when they built it, it was really innovative.
Speaker 3 (11:52):
To me.
Speaker 4 (11:52):
It's always seemed like a giant Marriott. But that's just me.
But it's got terrible acoustics. Springsteen would, uh, we'll only
play the Forum now. I think in l A he
used to play this. He used to play the Sports Arena.
Speaker 1 (12:07):
Last concert I saw at Staples Center was Tool. They
were fantastic.
Speaker 3 (12:12):
I have a story about Tool.
Speaker 1 (12:13):
Oh yeah.
Speaker 3 (12:15):
I was with.
Speaker 4 (12:17):
Steve Hartman, Top and Lateral Awe Sunder rated album Petros.
Speaker 3 (12:26):
Were at perfect Circo.
Speaker 2 (12:29):
Make Sure you get your Blue two.
Speaker 3 (12:32):
Hey you Want to Be Hot were right now. Uh.
Speaker 4 (12:37):
I was with Steve Hartman and Vic the Brick before
Vic was a shut in and we were I think
it was the year that the Lakers lost to the
Celtics in the finals and they dumped the gatorade on
Doc Rivers and Paul Pierce pooped himself and all that stuff.
In fact, it was that night that Paul Pierce pooped,
(12:58):
which would have been Game one, right. Yeah, So we're
in Boston with the Lakers and on the floor and
all that stuff for the NBA Finals. TD Bank North
Garden is what it was called, and all that, and
so the game happened in Boston. We get cabs back
to the hotel. Everybody's all jazzed up, and we're in
(13:19):
a bar at the hotel having a couple drinks and
this couple, like an old looking, kind of long hair
and his rocker looking wife was like.
Speaker 3 (13:30):
Hey, we know you guys, LA Radio, come on over here.
Speaker 4 (13:34):
So we're talking to this couple and you know, they're
asking us questions. Yeah, we're here covering the game. Yeah,
you know, sports guys, you know, try to sound all
cool and this and that, and they're very nice people.
And we talked to them for like a half hour,
and then finally I was like, Hey, what do you guys,
do what do you do? He's like, well, you know,
I'm in music and I'm a sports fan, so you know.
(13:55):
And I was like, well, when did you go to
the game And they're like, yeah, you know, we played
that arena not long ago, so we got ticket. I
was like, excuse me, and he's like, yeah, I'm the
drummer for Tools. Like, oh, you know, we've been talking
to the best rock drummer in the world, Jerry.
Speaker 3 (14:13):
Yeah, sounding like you know, yeah, hey, I'm radio. It's
pretty tough. You know, the show's pretty good. You know,
we're gonna go a It's like we must have.
Speaker 4 (14:19):
Sounded like the two biggest jackasses in al Wait, wait,
did what was Matt money Smith with you? No, he
was doing the post game. It was like me, Steve
and you know, I don't remember, you know, at what
point Vic went to bed to you know, touch himself.
I was, well, Vink almost got in a fight with
a cab driver.
Speaker 3 (14:38):
You know. We're driving back.
Speaker 4 (14:39):
We're driving back and they're like, oh, I really like Boston.
You know, I think Boston's gonna get him and Victor.
I disagree, sir, I take I take humbrage. So like
I kicked us out of his cab like the like
the big Lebowski. So it was a wild night. But
I just do remember, like, you know, trying to sound
like I was important and then realizing that I was
(14:59):
talking kind to the drummer from Tool.
Speaker 1 (15:01):
By the way, if anybody watch a video of him
playing drums, he is unbelievable.
Speaker 4 (15:06):
Yeah, he's like a modern day Neil Perk. Yes, right,
Neil Pert was the guy from Rush who And you know,
I'm not a big hard rock guy or whatever you'd
call that music, industrial metal or whatever it is. But
I've been pressed by musicians and I was just like, gosh,
what a jackass must have sounded like for quite some time,
but very nice. Danny Carey was really great guy. Yeah,
(15:28):
but I sounded like a jackass. That's my Tool story.
Speaker 1 (15:31):
Yeah, it's a good story. Never met any of those guys.
By the way, we were talking earlier this week, when.
Speaker 3 (15:37):
We'll go back to nine. They were hanging out there
in the.
Speaker 1 (15:39):
Bar, so we were we were talking about the ap
Top twenty five when it comes out, and it's kind
of you know, like I know the bar was saying,
you know that it was something you looked forward to
it was like tradition, and so it does feel like
it's here. It doesn't necessarily mean a whole lot because
the college football playoff rankings take precedent later in the year.
(16:02):
But do you still get you get any excitement seeing
the numbers show up next to the team's names now
with Week one around the corner.
Speaker 3 (16:09):
Not really, I mean, rankings are interesting.
Speaker 4 (16:14):
The only the only thing is is if you're ranked
not high when the season starts and you end up undefeated,
it takes like two months for anybody to pay attention
to you know what I mean. It's like what they
weren't ranked, and you've got to really climb your way
out of what people thought you were, you know what
I mean.
Speaker 3 (16:34):
That's true, and everybody's far down.
Speaker 4 (16:36):
Yeah, true, and everybody just sits there and waits for
you to lose and no one respects you.
Speaker 3 (16:40):
Like TCU went.
Speaker 4 (16:41):
Through this right, uh, And that was a miraculous once
in a lifetime season that Sonny Dyke's had. Cincinnati. Yeah,
the teams like that where And that's the part of
it I don't like. Well they didn't start in the
top twenty five, Well, who cares? They won eight games
the team, the team some of the teams you had
to started in. I mean, USSE was terrible last year
(17:03):
and they were number three when the year started. And
that's supposed to be one of the best quarterbacks generationally
in the history of college football. And that's all Lincoln
Riley could muster. You know, It's interesting to see the
way it plays out. But that's the only thing I
don't like about the Top twenty five is that if
you're ignored by it and you end up having a
(17:23):
great year, it takes weeks and weeks, literally months for
anybody to start raising eyebrows at you because in some
way you're defying the experts and they don't like that.
They want to be able to dismiss everybody and concentrate
on Ohio State and Alabama or whoever LSU. But it's
(17:44):
going to be crazy, no, Nick Saban, right, what a
they're going to be like every day I wake up,
Texas has another running back leg fall off.
Speaker 3 (17:52):
I mean, it's a it's going to be a crazy year.
Speaker 1 (17:56):
Brother, O, what was the highest you were ranging to
a USC when you were there?
Speaker 3 (18:02):
Oh, top five?
Speaker 1 (18:03):
Were you really?
Speaker 3 (18:04):
I think so? Yeah?
Speaker 1 (18:06):
I mean do you guys like do you guys, LeVar,
did you know where you were, like where you stacked
up or was it like listen to.
Speaker 3 (18:12):
People interview you.
Speaker 4 (18:14):
They say, you know, welcoming back with the top three
team in the country, short yardage, idiot tale back, Patrick Papenagers, jeords.
I mean, you know they tell you, people tell you
in the interview is what you are?
Speaker 2 (18:25):
We were number one two out of my three years
there go figure and well didn't then well started off well?
Every year, didn't didn't in well every year.
Speaker 4 (18:36):
Hey, Teve Martin had to go win a championship for
Tennessee because Peyton Manny couldn't do it.
Speaker 3 (18:41):
Yeah, remember that, I remember that. Yeah, keep that in mind.
You know, my freshman year.
Speaker 2 (18:46):
Was his senior year in school, so that was the
year Charles Woodson won the Heisman.
Speaker 3 (18:52):
He's a good looking guy. I see him, Yeah, I
see him.
Speaker 2 (18:55):
A really good looking dude man. Yeah, tall, tall, ditinguished
looking tall.
Speaker 4 (19:00):
It looks like he's going to tackle you at any moment,
Like when you walk by him in the halls, You're like, wow,
I'm not protecting my legs. This could end really badly.
And then he never touches you. But you know, you
always see it and think it.
Speaker 2 (19:11):
Because he's super smooth dude.
Speaker 7 (19:12):
Man.
Speaker 4 (19:13):
Yeah, and he became such a just unbelievable tackler, not
that he wasn't that in college, but in the pros
he just like he became a guy that just ended
your journey so quickly as a tackler. That I my
favorite journey ender of all time. And I know it's controversial,
but I followed him in high school and did a
(19:34):
bunch of his games in high school and then college.
Is Vontez perfect?
Speaker 2 (19:38):
Oh yeah, he used to just oh bruh, Like what's crazy?
Is in a different era of time, he would have
been a Hall of Famer.
Speaker 3 (19:47):
Yeah he's doing that's how good.
Speaker 2 (19:49):
And that's the way he played old school and that
was when they started outlawing old yeah.
Speaker 4 (19:54):
And acting like he was, you know, a murderer or something. Yeah,
And that bothered.
Speaker 2 (19:58):
Me me too, bro me, I'm with you. I'm one hundred.
He is one of the He was one of my
favorite players, to be honest with you, I love.
Speaker 4 (20:07):
That because you know you'd see a pile moving or
a guy's over.
Speaker 2 (20:11):
He got there was over.
Speaker 3 (20:12):
It was over.
Speaker 2 (20:13):
That's how he got. That was my That's that's the
cloth I'm cut from. That's Vonte played the way like,
oh he's dirty, he's this.
Speaker 3 (20:20):
He's that.
Speaker 2 (20:21):
I'm one hundred percent with you on that one. That's
a great pool. Pat Troos, That's that is a great pool.
I love that's out the Vontee man.
Speaker 4 (20:29):
Yeah, and he had a I think he lived with
another linebacker, uh that they both were from Corona Centennial,
which is a school out here in southern California.
Speaker 1 (20:39):
He's only thirty and he's only thirty three montes perfect,
he's older than that.
Speaker 4 (20:45):
I thought, I think maybe. I mean I was in
my twenties doing his games when he was in high school,
and and then I was in my twenties maybe early
thirties doing his games when he was in Arizona State,
and he lived with the same linebacker and Corona Centennial
and Arizona State, and I just loved him. I mean,
(21:05):
if you got if he was at the chain and
you needed one chain link you weren't getting it, you know,
it would be like a missile or like just you know,
just everything gone.
Speaker 3 (21:17):
And he was a heavy hitter.
Speaker 4 (21:19):
Chris Clayboyne was that way who I guess he was
two hundred and sixty pound Mike Back two.
Speaker 3 (21:24):
Yeah, he was just a beautiful player too.
Speaker 2 (21:27):
He took my first my first buckets, took it away from.
Speaker 3 (21:30):
Me ninety eight. He took it. Yeah, he earned it.
He had.
Speaker 4 (21:34):
Oh I think he had six picks that year and
took two of them back from Mike Backer. He was,
he was. He was probably one of the best players.
Him and Troy were the two best defensive players that
I was ever on the field with. Darryl Russell was
pretty good too. Yeah, I played with d russ Man.
Speaker 3 (21:52):
RP.
Speaker 1 (21:53):
Well, Patros, we appreciate it. Always a fun conversation with
you here every Wednesday morning.
Speaker 4 (21:59):
Will be doing find at the Bruno Mars Show. Guys, remember.
Speaker 3 (22:05):
Who et or Bruno Mars. All right, I'm gonna stand
them up next to each other. Thanks p.
Speaker 1 (22:13):
Get him on Twitter or ex if you will. At
the Old Peves The Cost of the Petro Money Show.
Fox College Football Analysts. It's here, all right, it's coming
up next from the Tirak dot com studios. We are
going to hand out some advice. This is important advice
because there's a big event coming up right around the

Speaker 3 (23:49):
Hey, what's up, everybody?
Speaker 2 (23:50):
It's me three time Pro Bowl of LeVar Arrington, and
I couldn't be more excited to announce a podcast called
Up on Game. What is Up on Game? You asked
with my fellow pro bowler TJ. Hutschman, Zada and Super
Bowl champion. Yep, that's right, Plexico Burris. You can only
name a show with that type of talent on it.
Up on Game. We're going to be sharing our real
(24:13):
life experiences loaded with teachable moments. Listen to Up on
Game with me Lebar Arrington, TJ. Hutchman, Zada, and Plexico
Burrs on the iHeartRadio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you
get your podcast from.
Speaker 1 (24:32):
Here's what I'm in on, and I think you're in
on too, And it's called advice, and it's called fantasy
football advice. So DraftKings and our friends at DraftKings, they
have many ways to play fantasy football, from playing weekly
contest to the newest game from DraftKings called pick six.
And speaking of fantasy football, it's time to hand out
(24:53):
a little bit of advice with the fantasy drafts coming
up right around the corner, and I'm going to start
at the core position, because everybody goes to the same old,
same molds at the top of the quarterback draft class.
When it comes to your fantasy league, people are looking
at Josh Allen, They're looking at Jalen Hurts. Obviously, Patrick
Mahomes is going to be in the conversation. Lamar Jackson
(25:14):
is out there.
Speaker 6 (25:15):
CJ.
Speaker 1 (25:15):
Stroud has got a ton of new weapons in Houston.
The guy that I think some people are sleeping on
is Kyler Murray. I think he's back fully healthy. He
came back last year after the knee injury, and when
he was on the field, that was a completely different offense.
And it's part of the reason why they went from
the team everybody projected to maybe picking number one overall
(25:37):
to a team that people really didn't want to see
at certain points later in the season. He's got Marvin
Harrison Junior there now. I think Kyler Murray is a
name to watch that could be available maybe in your
third maybe in your fourth round, but a name outside
your top five that you typically will see when it
comes to fantasy drafts around the country and any that
you're involved in. Kyler Murray feels like the guy to
(25:59):
look at there that could be a sleeper and a
steal for people out there.
Speaker 2 (26:02):
Wow, I like it, Jonas, and great commentary there. I
won't go into as much detail and in depth as you,
but I will say in the fantasy game, receivers and
running backs can be dominant in your drafts. Let's look
at Jamiir Gibbs in Detroit. Man, I'll tell you what
I know. He's dealing with a little bit of a
nick right now, but he'll be back out there. And
(26:24):
once he gets back out there, people, this is an
electrifying coast to coast they call type of back can
break it, break it loose anywhere on the field. This
ground and pound type of team that coach Campbell has
built in Detroit is a monster that is awake and
Jamier Gibbs is a major piece of that that puzzle.
(26:47):
I would spend I would spend a top draft pick
on Jamier Gibbs if I were a fantasy football player.
Why Because he can get it from out of the backfield.
He can get it in the flats, he can get
it in the flares, and he can get it as
a receiver as well. Look at this dynamic talent to
be one of the guys that scores big for fantasy
(27:09):
football owners. Jamier Gibbs of the Detroit Lions.
Speaker 1 (27:13):
There we go. That's how it's done. That's called fantasy
football advice from your friends here Two Pros and a
Cup of Joe, and also from your friends at DraftKings
as well too. With drafts coming up around the corner,
makes all the sense in the world to start doing
your deep dives and all this stuff. So we are
here to help, and so is DraftKings. It is two
Pros and a Cup of Joe here on FSR. We
are going to close up shop next with another edition
(27:36):
of You In or You Out, And that's yours right
here on Fox Sports Radio.
Speaker 7 (27:40):
Be sure to catch live editions of Two Pros and
a Cup of Joe with Brady Quinn, LeVar Arrington and
Jonas Knox weekdays at six am Eastern, three am Pacific.
Speaker 1 (27:52):

Speaker 3 (28:22):
This is two Pros and a cup of show. What
even enough? If they're a please or it, they're out?
Speaker 2 (28:31):
All right?
Speaker 1 (28:31):
Lead to lap. What have we got today?
Speaker 8 (28:33):
Guy's not a lot of sports to watch today. Obviously
we had Hard Knocks last night. Did you guys watch that?
Speaker 1 (28:37):
Yeah, you gotta check that out? Yeah, what it is?
Speaker 3 (28:41):
What it is?
Speaker 1 (28:41):
I mean, it's the same levels. You know, they do
a you know a little behind the scenes on the
game that was just played in the preseason. It's more
storylines and it's just you know, I think the thing
that's most impressive with Hard Knocks is the turnaround time
because they are like really up to date on everything
that goes on with certain teams.
Speaker 3 (29:02):
But yeah.
Speaker 1 (29:03):
I mean it's I'm just not crazy about it anymore.
It's kind of run its course.
Speaker 6 (29:08):
I will check that out later today. Guys, if you're looking.
Speaker 8 (29:10):
For, you know, some sports to watch other than baseball,
Cincinnati Open airs onto the Tennis channel as players prepped
for the US Open later this month.
Speaker 1 (29:20):
Out is Brian Finley calling that? Because I know he
does tennis matches? Does he Is he doing the play
by play on the tennis I will.
Speaker 6 (29:28):
Text him right now. I'll probably get an answer by
the end of.
Speaker 1 (29:30):
Because if he is doing it, Yeah, I'm out. I'll
tell you that right now. Wow, screw him. Hey listen,
they called the bar and I had a can man.
Anybody can get.
Speaker 2 (29:42):
It, that's right?
Speaker 3 (29:45):
Wow?
Speaker 6 (29:46):
All right, guys.
Speaker 8 (29:46):
Hey, I've been pretty good. I haven't been to a
fast food joint in quite a while.
Speaker 6 (29:51):
Been eating good?
Speaker 1 (29:52):
That is a lie. How long has it been?
Speaker 8 (29:54):
I'm trying to think, Oh, you know what I had?
I had schnitzel the other day, and.
Speaker 6 (29:58):
We had taco bell last week.
Speaker 3 (30:00):
Oh damn it.
Speaker 2 (30:01):
Dang, did about taco bell date? Taco bell run?
Speaker 3 (30:06):
Yeah?
Speaker 6 (30:06):
We did do a taco bell run? All about that?
Speaker 3 (30:09):
Do you guys get it? Lorna.
Speaker 2 (30:11):
You can't be complaining about his flagulence if you're actually
no courage the ammunition that he had.
Speaker 6 (30:19):
Good call, bar, Yeah, I did not get him.
Speaker 8 (30:21):
Wiener Schnitz All, okay, this is late night taco bell
the morning.
Speaker 6 (30:26):
Okay, it's what we needed.
Speaker 3 (30:27):
Lee.
Speaker 1 (30:28):
What's your order at Wiener Schnitz?
Speaker 3 (30:29):
So what do you get? Oh?
Speaker 8 (30:30):
That's a good that's a good question, Jonas. My go
to is chili cheese fries with onions. You gotta ask
for the onions, Chili cheese dog with onions. Gotta asked
for the onions, and corn dock. The trifact you're just.
Speaker 1 (30:45):
A smelly man on chili.
Speaker 6 (30:46):
Oh my god, the trifecta. You gotta have. It's perfect.
Speaker 8 (30:52):
It's not perfect, it's great, especially since they switched over
to Coca Cola over at Waiter Shistle.
Speaker 6 (30:57):
They ditched Pepsi.
Speaker 2 (30:58):
Went for Coco is way better than coked. What are
you talking about, dude, Way better?
Speaker 6 (31:04):
What are you talking?
Speaker 1 (31:05):
I haven't had either and probably a decade, but I
do recall Pepsi being way better. Actually, my favorite was
RC Cola. Urci Cola was my favorite colon.
Speaker 6 (31:18):
I can get down on that.
Speaker 2 (31:19):
Rather than Pepsi. I don't know. I'm not down on pepsi.
I'm not down on Coca Cola either. I just think
that Pepsi is I think it's better well.
Speaker 8 (31:30):
Keeping with the theme Coca Cola Versus Pepsi, McDonald's debut
and Happy Meals for adults. This is why, this is
why I brought this up in the first place. I
might go get me one of these to have complete
with collector cups. These cups have different themes from Coca
Cola with the Polar Bear, to Hello Kiddy and Peanuts,
Beanie Babies, Barbie and Hot Wheels, Shrek, Jurassic Park, and Minions.
Speaker 2 (31:52):
People are simple enough to buy into this campa. But
I am all the way out, dude.
Speaker 6 (31:58):
I am all the way.
Speaker 1 (31:59):
In exactly if it's if it's adult themed, what's the what's.
Speaker 8 (32:04):
The call it? Happy the toy? The toy is the
Collector's cup. But you know they get like a pager.
Speaker 2 (32:11):
Creaking grow up lee what Like I'm I ain't in
on getting my Collector's cup that hat the Polar beers like.
Speaker 3 (32:19):
Throw up, dude. That's if you want.
Speaker 2 (32:22):
If you want a polar beer cup, ask for the
god dang polar beer cup. You don't have to get
a happy meal, Like, let me open a happy meal
with the arches on it and get and have my
collector's cup.
Speaker 3 (32:33):
Are you hitting me?
Speaker 8 (32:34):
Well it comes with a big mac and some and
some nuggets or whatever. It's not like, Well, get you
a big mac little apple slices. Oh my gosh, what
I'll get my big mac meal and a cup.
Speaker 2 (32:45):
Dude, if I see you walk in the work, oh
dude with a.
Speaker 6 (32:50):
Grown ass, don't even look at my cup.
Speaker 2 (32:55):

Speaker 3 (32:56):
Lee, I'm out.
Speaker 6 (32:58):

Speaker 1 (32:59):
That's right out.
Speaker 2 (33:00):
Get out. I bet you them bums ain't now. I
bet you them bums your polar bear.
Speaker 1 (33:06):
Yeah, they'll break in your coolar bear cup.
Speaker 8 (33:08):
Check, homie, I'm I'm gonna put the cup in your
back seat there and breaking your car.
Speaker 2 (33:11):
They want that cup and get their ass whipped. I
ain't gonna almost whip that ass either, like you you know?
Speaker 3 (33:17):
Okay, good job.
Speaker 6 (33:19):
I like that. Hey guys, well it is Wednesday.
Speaker 8 (33:21):
You could do this to me, so that means it
means it's normally BQ news time. So we gotta get
a little Florida Man news in here. Florida man twenty
five year old drove a semi truck through a strip
club last.
Speaker 2 (33:31):
Night, bleterally after somebody where he supposed to park at
the lap dance available, he.
Speaker 6 (33:38):
Was kicked out at four am.
Speaker 8 (33:39):
Decided to drive a semi truck through the front entrance
at four thirty am, killing one patron right under the
sign that said full nude. He was aiming for one guy,
got the wrong guy. Dang Florida man news.
Speaker 2 (33:53):
All I'll tell you is I'm out on that. But
the idea of knowing that strip clubs can bring the
worst out of a man, I mean, there's a great
example for you.
Speaker 1 (34:02):
Are you going to McDonald's right now?
Speaker 2 (34:04):
Might do that? Well, goodbye,
