Speaker 2 (01:02):
What station is that?

Speaker 4 (01:03):
The Blowtorch AM five to seventy LA Sports. By the way,
we'll have the tiebreaker name for horse name or horse
crap coming up here, and we draw our Kentucky Derby
names out of a hat here at about twenty minutes
or so from now, so the conclusion of that will
be happening here. But it was the conclusion of the
Laker season that was very interesting. Now, before we get

(01:27):
to little bit of a throwback and to how things
used to be when it came to basketball in Los Angeles,
JJ Redick the coach of the Lakers. He was asked
about what improvements the team could make going into this
next season, and JJ Reddick had this to say.

Speaker 5 (01:45):
I'll start with the offseason and the.

Speaker 2 (01:49):
Work that's required.

Speaker 5 (01:51):
In an off season to be in championship shape. And
you know, we have a ways to go as a roster,
and certainly there are individuals that were in phenomenal shape.
There's certainly other ones that could have been in better shape.
That's where my mind goes immediately, is you know, we
have to get in championship shape now.

Speaker 4 (02:14):
Any guesses as to who he's referring to not being
in shakeup?

Speaker 2 (02:17):
Yeah, I don't think so. Yeah, it was very Odden.

Speaker 6 (02:25):
I mean, wasn't that the biggest concern when they traded
for him.

Speaker 4 (02:30):
Yeah, that was part of the reasoning from Dallas. Aside,
they basically fat shaved him when he left. I mean
they did. Every report was how exactly did they fat shame? Well,
every report was he he doesn't take him his diet. Seriously,
he's not in shape to play both ends of the floor.
He's and they just it was multiples. It was two

(02:51):
or three different the.

Speaker 6 (02:52):
Hookah, he was, the beer Luca probably too many ip
as Jonas.

Speaker 4 (02:56):
Hey, maybe Michael Finley thought that sapporo was a milkshake
and that why he took it away from him.

Speaker 2 (03:01):
Maybe that's what it was. Maybe he wanted some Maybe
it was just a simplest support to share with them.

Speaker 4 (03:06):
I'm almost potley. Can you fact check that to see
whether or not that was a support? Almost positive as
a support, because I thought it was interesting that he
would go supporo postgame, Like, to me, you get that
as sushi, right, but for some.

Speaker 2 (03:23):
More specifically right for some got Benny Hannas.

Speaker 4 (03:26):
Get a nice sporo for some reason, that's like one
of the it's like the last beer in the fridge
and you're like, ah, this will work.

Speaker 2 (03:35):
I wouldn't have it in my fridge, but if I did,
that would be one of the first beers I drink
Stick City of course. Yeah, listen, I love Stick City Lager.

Speaker 7 (03:45):
I believe it's hard because his hands covering most of it,
but yeah, I can see the gold star.

Speaker 2 (03:50):
It's a col black bang sound like knows beer.

Speaker 7 (04:01):
Bvaguely, but I mean they are they are obviously in Dallas.
I've got a good photo of it, so it could
have been, you know, some kind of starve because of
the Texas It's hard for me to tell long.

Speaker 6 (04:13):
Yeah, actually I don't think it is. It looks like
it's called Fulton. Is it like a Fulton lager or something?
I mean, I can't read what says. It's too blurry.

Speaker 2 (04:25):
What was it was?

Speaker 6 (04:25):
What was it that was Michael Finley's beer? Did I
remember think of that?

Speaker 2 (04:28):
Maybe?

Speaker 4 (04:30):
Like, hey, give that back.

Speaker 2 (04:32):
Let me see.

Speaker 7 (04:32):
Yeah, I mean that's possible because the Sporrel black has
a fade from silver to black, and this one's all black.

Speaker 6 (04:40):
Look up, like, is there a Fulton Beer Fulton lager
in Texas?

Speaker 2 (04:43):
Maybe this Fulton beer Fulton Lager? Is that a horse
or is that horse? In fact?

Speaker 7 (04:52):
Yeah, I am seeing a Fulton Yep, this is what
it looks like.

Speaker 6 (04:56):
Take that, Lee, Yeah, hey, put that in your supporal
pipe and smoke it.

Speaker 4 (05:03):
Lee from that company?

Speaker 3 (05:05):
But chug that, Lee?

Speaker 4 (05:08):
I mean, let's look at what Fulton beer beer? Whoa,
Oh no, let's check this out out. It would be
sweet if that was so, what.

Speaker 2 (05:20):
Do we support? Put that locker rooms and arenas.

Speaker 7 (05:24):
It's the lonely blonde, really don't it's the lonely blonde beer,
is what I'm guessing from.

Speaker 6 (05:29):
The Golden Yeah, you wouldn't know anything about about that, Lee.

Speaker 2 (05:31):
That's true.

Speaker 4 (05:32):
You stay away, where do what's the what's the alcohol
percentage on that lonely blonde?

Speaker 3 (05:39):
There?

Speaker 2 (05:39):
Who cares? Jat's just move on.

Speaker 4 (05:41):
Let's talk about these gotta we gotta make sure we
were abv on that.

Speaker 6 (05:46):
It's not like an I p A you know, one
of those like uh, you know ten hour deals.

Speaker 2 (05:49):
It's like fifteen percent.

Speaker 4 (05:51):
Lee always told me anything below ten percent doesn't even count.

Speaker 6 (05:55):
That You just make excuses for drinking one beer and
getting and getting drunk. That's that's essentially what happens when
you drink a Jonah.

Speaker 8 (06:02):
Knos four point eight. Okay, yeah, so easy drinking.

Speaker 4 (06:07):
But listen, he was he was basically fat shame by
the organization. Michael Finley made it seem like he's an
alcoholic and next the way he's off and running.

Speaker 6 (06:18):
Everything's bigger in Texas, right, Like typically people, I feel like,
don't fat shame?

Speaker 2 (06:22):
There is that fair to say.

Speaker 6 (06:24):
Now you go to La one of the most accepting
places on this planet, and now they're fat shaming Luca
or at least you know, in a roundabout way.

Speaker 2 (06:32):
Yeah, I just I feel like there's something going on there. Yeah.
I also wonder if that but can you claim can
we really say that he's talking about Luca when he
came to the team so late, he had nothing to
do with that man being in shape for the season
or not. So it makes me wonder is there anybody

(06:53):
else because let me tell you something, their entire team
and that fourth quarter was tired. Well they were tired.
The Lakers were definitely gassed.

Speaker 4 (07:00):
This is my uh, Look, I wonder JJ Reddick strikes
me as the type of guy who would make an
example of somebody if he had to, Like, he's not
shy about that.

Speaker 2 (07:10):
He did.

Speaker 4 (07:11):
He did it to Steven a when when they were
doing first take together, like he's not shy about that's it. Yeah,
And I wonder if part of the reason why he
left all of them on the floor the entire fourth
quarter or second half without subbing anybody out was to
make an example of hey, listen, if you're our guys,

(07:32):
we need you, and hep go win the game. Yeah,
go win the game. And if you're not in shape,
that you're.

Speaker 2 (07:37):
Probably nobody out. This is our season on the line, Like,
go win the game.

Speaker 4 (07:43):
Because I wonder if he'll point to that, if he'll
point to that next year and say, hey, when the
game was on the line, the critical make or break
game of the year, when we needed that to even
the series, I put everybody out there to see who
was in shape and who wasn't. And you were, and
you weren't, and you weren't and you weren't. And he
starts pointing people like because other than other than that,
why would he do that. Nobody would do that anywhere

(08:06):
you would want, you would want a rotation.

Speaker 2 (08:07):
Thought it was not strategically sound, And there was also
the part of that interview where he was questioned about
making decisions on subbing and he walked off. You know,
he got you gotta you know, offend it by it.
So I don't think it's necessarily the fact that they
were out of shape. I just think that they he
took a he took a gamble. He wanted to have

(08:30):
more more perimeter defense to slow down what what Anthony
Edwards has been doing to them. He makes somebody else
on this team beat us, and you forgot that they
had a seven footer and you didn't have you didn't
have him covered off like it really was. In football terms,

(08:54):
it is like an open receiver running all game, like,
don't worry about it. The quarterback's not going to look
at him. But then and you get into the game
and he's looking at him and he's throwing him the ball.
He never adjusted. I mean, he just never adjusted to
Rudy Gobert in the success he was having. I don't
know that he killed being tired. You know, they have
a true starting center. That that's that's been an issue

(09:15):
as they could have adjusted their defense. They I mean
that they did.

Speaker 6 (09:19):
Sure, but you're not gonna You're not you don't have
a true you don't have a true, true starting center
to match up with Gobert like that was. That was
the one thing that came out of it was the
Marcus Morris trade that didn't happen, and everyone it was
a weak spot for them the whole time. So again,
this is something that needs to be addressed in the offseason.
They've got to look at roster building and I think
as he spent it forward, you know, I believe Lebron

(09:42):
James is expected to opt in, but what happens to Browny,
you know what happened to some of the other pieces.
If they're relying on Austin Reeves to kind of carry
the weight as that the third figure. I mean, look,
Lebron's forty, he'll be forty one. He's not going to
be able to keep doing what he's been doing. It's
been incredible the way he's been able to perform at
his age for that many minutes. But it's just you

(10:05):
can't expect that consistently. And if it was okay, So
Luke needs to get in better shape. If that's who
they're they're talking about, great, He needs help too, though,
because very similar to Dallas Mavericks when they went to
the Western confer or excuse me, the finals it's like
he didn't have as much help. Well, they he needs
more help and it can't just be Austin Reeves and

(10:26):
they need more they need more size down low and
there's a bunch of things. But do they do lake extensions?
I know they do fake asides, Now do they do
lake extensions? Well, I'm asking because they.

Speaker 4 (10:36):
Make someone taller, Yeah, they can make someone. How about
plant fever things? Okay, how about Brownie at the five?

Speaker 6 (10:43):
It's gonna it's gonna be a lot of adjusting to
deal with.

Speaker 4 (10:46):
Uh yeah, I mean it beats what you had.

Speaker 2 (10:50):
They didn't put Jackson Hayes in the game. He's a
big I mean, just try at least try.

Speaker 6 (10:57):
Yeah, they have bigs. But it's like it doesn't mean
they're started, you know what I'm saying it.

Speaker 2 (11:00):
But he's on the roster and he's a seventh footer
and you're getting banged by a seven footer, Like put it,
see what, see what happens? See what happens? Because the
things that were happening were either he was just by
himself and nobody was on him, or he was just
over top of dudes, Like dudes just literally couldn't couldn't

(11:23):
get to where Rudy Gobert was. I just I don't know.
I thought it was a coaching gaff, honestly, like just
try it. Try it like you you took. You successfully
neutralize Anthony Edwards, but it gave way to Randall creating
and doing the things that he was doing. And it also,

(11:44):
I mean, they had no answer for for Rudy and
and how he was getting the putbacks and getting the
easy bunnies and stuff like that. You got, I mean,
you gotta try. You can't just be looking at it
like a were just gonna stay manna man, We're gonna
stay manned man on the perimeter and we're just gonna,
you know, we go to see if we can win
by limiting Anthony, like I thought that was to me.

(12:06):
And they were gassed. At the end of the game.
The Lakers were clearly tired. They couldn't move around. Lebron
didn't act like getting bumped was him blowing his knee out.
His knee wasn't blown out. He was fine. He needed
a quick blow, He got his blow, he came back
in and you know, I just I don't know, man,
It just it wasn't a good look for the Lakers

(12:27):
is what I'll say. The way they closed that one
or got closed out, it definitely wasn't a good look.

Speaker 6 (12:32):
Here's what I want to notice. How did he sound
post defeat? I mean, and can you compare it to
anyone who's like another legend.

Speaker 4 (12:39):
It's it's funny you bring that up. Lead the lap.
We've got a what it was like and what it
is now for the Los Angeles Lakers between Kobe Bryant
and one Lebron James. Can you assess exactly what went wrong?
Was it too many injuries?

Speaker 2 (12:57):
Was it shacks? But at the beginning of the year,
can you begin to assess why you lost this serious?

Speaker 9 (13:01):
No?

Speaker 10 (13:01):
I mean, you know, we have a million one excuses
that we could go to. The fact of the matter
is we're not going to make any They played better
than we did in this series. We had opportunity to
win it, then go for us, you know, so you
have to regroup. Like I said, next season starts right now,
and uh, you know, come back next season, right boy?

Speaker 4 (13:19):
How much harder will you work in this offseason now
to get back to the championship.

Speaker 10 (13:23):
I pushed myself to exhaustion.

Speaker 4 (13:25):
Probby we thank you for your time.

Speaker 2 (13:27):
Like taxing standpoint, how how tough was that for the
last three and a half months to play that style
And do you feel like that caught up at all
in this series? No comment.

Speaker 9 (13:38):
I'll never say that because, uh my guy eighty said
what he needed and uh then he was gone the
following week, so I got no comment. I put that
uniform on every night. I gave everything I had, and
uh that's that's all at matters.

Speaker 4 (13:53):
Yeah, And that's why Lakers fans have never truly embraced
Lebron James, like right, and they never will.

Speaker 2 (14:02):
Completely different.

Speaker 4 (14:03):
It's a completely different mindset, you mean, it's.

Speaker 6 (14:09):
It's one of the reasons though, why I love Anthony
Edwards and why I feel like he's so good for
the NBA. I mean, just the smack talk, the way
he goes about it, the physicality, the way he tries
to play like he's a throwback, and I feel like
every generation needs some of that and and you've got
that in a player like him. So I'm excited to
watch him in the next round, just to see how

(14:31):
he performs, if he can keeps kind of climbing up,
if you will within the NBA, you know NBA rankings
of being like.

Speaker 2 (14:39):
That next face, that next guy. It feels like he
already is.

Speaker 6 (14:41):
But with a championship, obviously that changes things.

Speaker 2 (14:44):
But it's gonna be a challenge because I mean, to
get the production that they were able to get from
that third person, like, it was so critical to have
other guys step up, and Randall and go Bear were
the ones that that. So I just don't see that
happening matchup wise with any of the other teams that

(15:05):
they're going to see moving forward, and so I don't
know it. Can Randall maintain that high level of play.
I think he can, but you know, just looking at
looking at where the Timberwolves are right now, Anthony Edwards
is going to have to be able to overcome defenses

(15:27):
setting up to limit him and stop him. Like he can't.
He can't have a fifteen point game. It just this
is the playoffs. If you want to show that you're
like not just a really really good ball player or
even an elite ballplayer, you got to show that you're
a megastar max contract ballplayer. And that just isn't getting

(15:50):
fit at being limited to fifteen points. He's going to
have to get get out there and get more done.
And so I mean, I think they got a good
chance it's to do well. But I'm not so I'm
not so sure that they don't they don't run into
some issues matchup wise with some of these teams that
are out there. I mean, I'm interested to see who

(16:11):
comes out of this Clippers Nuggets game series. Houston, you know, Houston,
I just you know, Golden State. You're all in on
Golden State, but I don't, I don't, you know, I
just don't know. I don't know what's going to happen
with that series. But I think both of those teams
match up well against against the Timberwolves. So I don't know.

(16:33):
Man A State Now, I'm still in. I'm still in.
I'm still in because because it's the more time that goes,
the more time, I mean, he's I think he's the
difference maker. He's the difference maker. I'm gonna stay true
to that. I think he makes the difference for Golden State.

Speaker 4 (16:50):
So yeah, I mean, I said yesterday it's gonna be
t Wolves Thunder in the Western Conference Finals. I don't
think Golden State or he Houston can play with Minnesota.
I just don't. And Minnesota's also got experience on their side.
They went that far last year. Like, I just don't
see Golden State and Houston competing. And then listen to

(17:13):
Denver and NLA, the Clippers and the Nuggets. Whoever wins
game seven, congratulations, you're going to be out in five games,
most likely against OKC. So we just we can just
skip past.

Speaker 2 (17:23):
The next something. Yeah, they looking. The two most impressive
teams so far to me in the playoffs has been
OKC in Cleveland.

Speaker 6 (17:34):
Yeah, ye, Cleveland Rocks bab Man Cleveland.

Speaker 2 (17:40):
It'd be interesting to see how that all plays out.
I think it's it's definitely setting up to be a
really really cool uh NBA Finals. I don't know that
it'll be the markets that people maybe want, but it
definitely is shaping up to be a very very competitive
NBA finals, even even even conference finals. I'll say, well,
are let's just look, let's just want to be pretty.

Speaker 6 (18:03):
Let's just hope that all the dads can make it
out to some of the games. All Right, that's all
I'm asking for.

Speaker 2 (18:07):
That ain't going to happen. That is not going to happen.
Why not? Well not if Indiana makes it all.

Speaker 4 (18:16):
You know, God, can I can I just say something here?

Speaker 2 (18:18):
So no, tyres Allibur's dad, he's not going to be
allowed at Pacers games. He spoke with the organization.

Speaker 4 (18:27):
They're not going to be allowed, you know, further foreseeable future,
whatever that means. I get it. He was out of line.
He shouldn't have done it. But the piling on, like
people just want blood man, Like it's not it's like
the Jack's old bricks stuff. It's like, oh no, no, no,
there's got to be more. There's gotta Okay, we get it,
you made a mistake. Not that it's he made a mistake.

(18:51):
We get it, we understand. But the idea that well, no, no, no,
you've got to you've had to continue on and you've
got to pile on and we need It's like, dude
made a mistake, he was punished. We all get it,
Like we don't need to everybody needs to air out.
Tyresse Halliburton's dad. He apologized for it. It was in

(19:11):
the moment we got all that, but it's never under.

Speaker 2 (19:14):
Yeah, I think is more egregious the crank call or
or uh Haler Burton getting in and Joannie's face.

Speaker 6 (19:24):
I mean, I mean, I don't know, man, I feel
like they're apples and oranges.

Speaker 2 (19:28):
But oranges. But but they're both probably a dad. Probably
a dad going on to the court afterwards. It's like,
come on, man like, because you're supposed to just have
better sense than that. You should.

Speaker 6 (19:41):
Yeah, But but also, I mean, you don't see that
very often either. It's pretty rare. I mean, I'm trying
to think of the last time I can think of
a dad going.

Speaker 2 (19:48):
Out on a on the the court. In Nbaan Shan
and Sharp almost fought John Morant's dad on the court.
Yeah he's not. Don't you know what I'm saying, John Player,
Oh you may have played okay, all right, I got you,
I got you. Yeah. Yeah, I say, like a parent
of that, I never seen nothing like that. Dad squared

(20:09):
up and squared up with a player. Yeah, I had
never seen. All right, it's so little much there.

Speaker 4 (20:15):
I mean, who would have thought that John Morant's dad
would have come out looking clean at the end of
this whole thing? Uh, based on that interaction. I'm just saying,
who would have thunk it?

Speaker 2 (20:28):
Yeah, it's weird.

Speaker 4 (20:29):
Of the things have changed and things have turned.

Speaker 2 (20:32):
That's sure.

Speaker 6 (20:33):
That has anything to do with the other. But all right, well,
you know that's Jonas Knox for you.

Speaker 4 (20:39):
You got to take your wins, Jonas Knocks for you.
It is Two Pros and a Cup of Joe here
on Fox Sports Radio, LeVar Arrington, Brady Quinn, Jonas Knox
with you Coming up next here though, on a Football Friday,

Two Pros and a Cup of Joe, Fox Sports Radio,
LaVar Arrington, Brady Quinn, Jonas Knox with you here. Coming
up a little over fifteen minutes from now, we are
going to have another edition of Lee's Leftovers. That'll be
yours here on this Friday version, and who the hell
knows that that's gonna involve, but that'll be yours here
on FSR. Now, last hour. We did have another edition,

(21:40):
because obviously it's Kentucky Derby weekend, we had another edition
of horse Name or Horsecrap and LaVar Arrington and Brady
Quinn put on a clinic. They were five for five,
including really difficult names like Trot, Shapiro, Naked Guy, Lead Dirt, Napp,

(22:04):
ditty up and too late to Castraight. Even all of those,
they were still perfect five for five, which brings us,
which brings us to our tiebreaker horse to try and win.

Speaker 2 (22:20):
Let's go.

Speaker 4 (22:23):
This year's edition of horse Name or Horsecraft. So here's
how it works. I'm going to give the name. It's
either the name of a horse racing at Churchill Downs
this weekend or it's completely made up. In order to

(22:43):
take a guess, you have to ring in buzz in
with your first name. If you can't shout out horse name,
horse crap, it doesn't count. You've got to buzz in
with your name. Your name is your buzzer, and that's
how we will decide who will get the opportunity to
win the game. And the twenty twenty five I have
Kentucky Derby edition of Horse Name or Horse Craps. If
you guys are ready. I have the tiebreaker name for

(23:05):
you here all right, here we go, Brady, Are you ready?

Speaker 2 (23:10):
I think I'm ready? Yeah, the name is hold on,
hold on, hold on, you said, Brady, is he ready?
As if you're singular singular singling him out? No, no, no,
for him to do it. I was making sure that
both of us having to say.

Speaker 4 (23:26):
Yeah, your name is your buzzer, I will give the
name of the.

Speaker 2 (23:29):
Horse, because I wasn't sure what you did right there?

Speaker 6 (23:31):
You all right, Okay, you have to explain to him
because he because when Louivar is not here, that's when
we do the headliner lie, and that's how we do
the tie breaker on.

Speaker 4 (23:39):
Yeah, so's tie break.

Speaker 2 (23:41):
I got it, all right, got it?

Speaker 4 (23:42):
So here we go it, get ready, here we go.
Hands on the buzzer. The name is Orchids of Hasia. Brady,
Brady Quinn, you're in first, Brady, is that a horse
name or horse crap?

Speaker 2 (24:03):
That sounds like horse crap? The Jonas.

Speaker 4 (24:09):
Orchids of Asia is made up, believe it or not.
And Brady Quinn, you are the winner of this year's edition.
That horse name or horse crap.

Speaker 2 (24:18):
I'm out. I'm never doing it again.

Speaker 8 (24:20):
Why not?

Speaker 2 (24:22):
Why not? It was great.

Speaker 6 (24:24):
I just love how Jonas really flexed his creativity with
those names this year. I mean, would you have one
one horse, one actual horse that is a part of.

Speaker 4 (24:31):
It, a table flirt, naked eye? It was really weak
into pleasure. I thought that one was gonna trip LeVar
out into pleasure. Sounds like something moving, beat up and
ivery and ebony. That was an actual horse name. It
was a good one racing later on today at Churchill Downs.
So congratulations, there's the there's the wind for Brady Quinn

(24:55):
here on horse name or horse craps. And now we
we keep the we keep the Kentucky Derby team going
here because we do have ourselves a hat draw. We
will draw names out of a hat here on the
show and we'll see if anybody wins. I believe Lee
won the Masters edition of this because Roy McElroy actually

(25:18):
showed up for the entirety of an event.

Speaker 8 (25:20):
And one Yeah, I've been I've been killing it with
the hat game lately.

Speaker 2 (25:23):
Yeah.

Speaker 4 (25:24):
And and Roy McElroy sobbing on the course afterwards was
a sight to behold for everybody. But lead the laugh's
gonna pass around a hat Brady, I mean you just
won horse name or horse crab? Would you like to
reach your long ass on?

Speaker 2 (25:39):
All right? Actually? Can I have Lady Luck Lorena? Actually, alright,
that's lady.

Speaker 6 (25:45):
Change some things up, Lady Luck.

Speaker 2 (25:47):
Yeah.

Speaker 4 (25:48):
God, it's not the first time I've been called that.

Speaker 2 (25:51):
Whoa more like lady good Luck? All right?

Speaker 4 (25:56):
Hand's going in?

Speaker 2 (25:58):
Come on all right, Ray, come all right, ray.

Speaker 4 (26:02):
Alright, alright, so she is reached into that.

Speaker 8 (26:11):
It's a good one, all right, so brady.

Speaker 7 (26:14):
But the first horse selected, the fourteenth horse Tistastic.

Speaker 11 (26:20):
Oh twenty one, adds alright, horse crab, I don't hate it,
you know, I don't mind.

Speaker 2 (26:32):
It, all right?

Speaker 4 (26:34):
So next up, Lee? Are you going next?

Speaker 8 (26:36):
Yeah, I'll go next. Here we go, all right, Well,
shovel it up here, Here we go, shoveling it up,
all right.

Speaker 7 (26:44):
The twelfth horse, East Avenue, Frank o'manuel and Brendan Walsh
thirty two to one odds.

Speaker 8 (26:53):
Okay, East Avenue.

Speaker 4 (26:55):
So that's a loss, all right. So you won't win there,
all right?

Speaker 2 (26:59):
So I up, good Jonas.

Speaker 4 (27:01):
Why why do I have to go next?

Speaker 2 (27:04):
I mean, why why not go next? Okay, got it,
I'll go next.

Speaker 3 (27:08):
Go.

Speaker 2 (27:09):
I had to jump over the cockroache there.

Speaker 4 (27:11):
Oh wow, is that thing still lying around over there?

Speaker 3 (27:13):
No?

Speaker 8 (27:14):
I picked it.

Speaker 2 (27:15):
It's unbelievable. These were conditions. Alright, we go.

Speaker 4 (27:24):
Whether whose hat is that?

Speaker 2 (27:27):
This is?

Speaker 8 (27:27):
I build a bear hat? Okay, but it's a super Bowl.

Speaker 2 (27:30):
Hell, I'm not gonna end up with syphilis? Am I?
Other thing?

Speaker 5 (27:33):
Still?

Speaker 2 (27:33):
Maybe? All right? Uh?

Speaker 4 (27:35):
Oh, this is a good one. Lux Or Cafe, lux
Or Cafe? What are we looking at?

Speaker 9 (27:41):
Ill?

Speaker 4 (27:42):
Thirteen to one? Right, I'll take that thirteen to one
on lux Or Cafe, by the way. Fun fact, let's
a change. If I was with a with a buddy
of mine who won nine thousand dollars on Keno video Keino.

Speaker 2 (27:55):
At the Luxe. His name is ken What up money bear?
And he's jacked bruh? Sweet story? Huh? Who's up next? Okay?
Bar through the screen, got gout, grab it rabbit, Brady
didn't like my Kinos story the luxe cat grab it?

(28:15):
Ford to have to do with anything citizens bull bait
with the sixth horse.

Speaker 8 (28:22):
LeVar Seles admired Daytona, which we all should.

Speaker 2 (28:26):
I don't like.

Speaker 7 (28:26):
Christophe Lamaire and you you Cohiro Cato thirty eight to one, odds.

Speaker 2 (28:31):
No, I don't like thirty eight. I don't like that.
I want the owner of Vitamin Water. I want the
previous owner. I want one of his horses. I don't
I don't like it.

Speaker 6 (28:41):
Lee, Where are getting these odds from?

Speaker 8 (28:43):
These are the live odds off of the Kentucky Derby site.

Speaker 2 (28:46):
That the live site thirty seven to one. That's thirty
seven to one. I don't like it. Did you have
Rodriguez in there? He gets he is a scratch?

Speaker 8 (28:57):
We do have the what is now the twenty one?

Speaker 2 (29:00):
You want to horse? Want a mest of ankle? Yeah,
it's too bad man.

Speaker 4 (29:04):
Oh really, once they started cracking down.

Speaker 6 (29:06):
Hey, we could have had that horse win and then
get disqualified because of peds. It'll be the greatest explanation
to be ever heard in your life.

Speaker 2 (29:14):
Okay, that horse would have to be called the Quinn.

Speaker 6 (29:17):
No, dude, Okay. Jonas recap recap the last horse that
he had disqualified.

Speaker 4 (29:25):
I don't remember the name. I just remember the excuse.

Speaker 2 (29:30):
It wasn't the name, damn it. I just heard it
the other day.

Speaker 4 (29:35):
The excuse was that the horse ate some hay that
one of the people working in the barn had urinated on.

Speaker 2 (29:43):
I believe that had a performance enhancing drug that the
horses can't have.

Speaker 4 (29:49):
That's like, that's up there.

Speaker 6 (29:50):
Yeah, the guy, the guy the stall is absolutely yoked
out of his mind. You know, they just urinating all
over it's getting into the horse.

Speaker 2 (29:59):
It was only that.

Speaker 4 (30:00):
That's right up there with DeAndre Hopkins saying he tested positive.

Speaker 2 (30:03):
Because Seagrum's gin or something like what was the name
of that god dang horse. I don't know. I just
remember hearing that.

Speaker 4 (30:12):
Imagine imagine that that would be of all, Like I
wonder what excuses didn't make the list, Like I wonder
which ones they thought of it?

Speaker 2 (30:21):
Like war Emblem. Did y'all know that.

Speaker 6 (30:26):
Bafford Jillian horses that are pretty good.

Speaker 2 (30:32):
I mean, but war Emblem is like, that's the guy
that was the guy. I don't I don't think that's
the Medina Spirit is the name of the.

Speaker 4 (30:44):
Look at that.

Speaker 2 (30:47):
I just watched the show I told you, I just
watched the show The Derby Show on on Netflix. So
I feel like I'm like very learning on this this
topic right now. I'm like, oh inspired.

Speaker 8 (30:57):
I was watching it last night.

Speaker 2 (30:59):
Thanks for your recommend. Pretty dope. Race for the Ground yeah,
it's pretty dope.

Speaker 4 (31:04):
All right, So Lorraina still has to pick a horse.

Speaker 6 (31:09):
I think she's already picked her horse in her mind.

Speaker 12 (31:13):
I don't know what you mean by that, Brady, but
I have a ticket right here in my hand.

Speaker 4 (31:16):
I got the Flying Mohawk.

Speaker 8 (31:20):
With thirty four odds.

Speaker 12 (31:22):
I think it's bad, right, Yeah, it's not great. I
don't I bet he's a strapping see that on there.
By the way, I know there's hawk. I was fifty
to one.

Speaker 6 (31:37):
Oh no, it's got a bad name for a reason.

Speaker 4 (31:43):
But so so now we uh stop should be And
by the way, that is one of those things to
where if you win at the derby, go get your
money as fast as you can because you just do
not know which horse.

Speaker 2 (31:55):
Will be disqualified after the fact.

Speaker 4 (31:58):
Like so, if your horse wins and all of a sudden,
you know, bad luck. You know, one of the guys
working in the barn is all all gassed up and
urinates on some hey and that horse eats it. Next thing,
you know, you're gonna you're gonna lose out on your money,
So go get your money as fast as you can't. Afterwards,
guy guy urinated on a my horse stated it that's

(32:20):
why testing positive.

Speaker 6 (32:22):
Seriously, take take me to the boardroom where they came
up with the others.

Speaker 2 (32:28):
That was the best one. I would love to see
you with the other oches.

Speaker 4 (32:31):
All right, all right, Bob, we got choices to make.
It's either that or we go with what we liked.

Speaker 2 (32:35):
First.

Speaker 4 (32:36):
Prop Duster flew over and threw some bad product all
over our field, and the horse got ahold of that.

Speaker 6 (32:42):
Like we got to see, he was hanging out with
some of the other horses in the stall and one
of them peer pressure him into uh sniff and some
stuff that. Unfortunately, it was a crazy party.

Speaker 2 (32:51):
It was a crazy party.

Speaker 4 (32:54):

R I R on a weekend recap. But right now
it is time for this.

Speaker 3 (34:06):
These might smell a little funk. What is that? Sounds incredible,
but they're still good. Time to find out what's lack?
It's Lee's slack? Jos all right, the lap?

Speaker 4 (34:16):
What do we got?

Speaker 2 (34:17):
Well?

Speaker 7 (34:17):
Keeping it with the Kentucky Derby. Are you guys gonna
have any mint julips this weekend. If you were looking
to get one at the race, it's twenty two dollars
for Woodfords.

Speaker 2 (34:27):
H julyp Yeah never, no is the answer.

Speaker 7 (34:30):
Only five miles away is the distillery from Churchill Downs,
and yet it's twenty two dollars.

Speaker 4 (34:37):
Never, Mollie, why are you asking us? We should be
asking you?

Speaker 2 (34:40):
What are you gonna you have a watch party? I'll
make some mint julips.

Speaker 4 (34:45):
What's in a mint julo?

Speaker 8 (34:46):
Well, whiskey. It's a mint and some kind of makeser.

Speaker 4 (34:51):
I forget, it's practically a whiskey mohito.

Speaker 8 (34:54):
Yeah, so same thing, but without the.

Speaker 4 (34:56):
Rem How many of those are gonna bang at Lee?

Speaker 8 (35:01):
I'll probably have to and then just get back to
the regular stuff.

Speaker 6 (35:04):
What would be the regular stuff?

Speaker 2 (35:07):
Tequila, beatboxer.

Speaker 8 (35:10):
Beer, I mean I'm a forty beat bucks.

Speaker 4 (35:13):
I mean a man's got a hydrate, like come on now.

Speaker 6 (35:17):
I feel like Lee would have been perfect for medieval times.
They like didn't have, you know, good drinking water, so
they're took drinking booze all the time.

Speaker 4 (35:25):
You know who he is? Lee might be the hound
from Game of Thrones. You know the guy was like
his face it's not tough enough to be the hound. Yeah,
come on, that's the hound is pretty tough.

Speaker 2 (35:36):
Come on he was. Yeah, he was tough. I can
take it. I mean, Lee, I'm sure you're tough, but
come on, the hound tough like the hound. I mean
he did get his ass, lady.

Speaker 6 (35:50):
Yeah, yeah, so you've got in commonly.

Speaker 4 (36:00):
Had right hand by Quinn.

Speaker 7 (36:03):
That guys, I gotta share. I gotta share a story
from yesterday. Got out of the theater in Burbank. We
had referenced Burbank earlier in the show them shutting down,
shutting down restaurants during the good old days. But another
example of how strict Burbank is. We got out of
the movie theater yesterday and we saw a guy getting
a ticket for smoking a cigarette on the street.

Speaker 8 (36:26):
Yeah, you can't smoke in Burbank.

Speaker 7 (36:28):
Can't have open flame and open a can't have a
cigar or a cigarette. So the guy started throwing a
fit and ripping off street signs and yelling f Burbank
the top of his lugs.

Speaker 2 (36:39):
It was awesome.

Speaker 8 (36:39):
It's a great time, was it. Oh yeah, he was
ripping off He was ripping branches off of trees.

Speaker 4 (36:44):
So you like even if you go outside you want
to pop a long yard a hundred dollars ticket, one
hundred dollars for a dart yep.

Speaker 7 (36:51):
Yeez, don't blame him for being mad.

Speaker 2 (36:55):
I've never seen a law to say you're smoke free outside. Yep.

Speaker 7 (37:01):
You have to be on a patio, a smoking patio.
You can't be like on a sidewalk.

Speaker 2 (37:05):
A smoking patio. Yep. So if you're right outside that's
smoking path. Are they enclosed?

Speaker 8 (37:11):
No, they're open patios right off.

Speaker 2 (37:14):
Correct, And if you were to stand on that side,
walk on the other side of that fence or railing,
you get a ticket. But isn't it the same air?

Speaker 8 (37:24):
Absolutely correct that.

Speaker 2 (37:28):
That's kind of interesting.

Speaker 4 (37:29):
It's your California of Ore.

Speaker 2 (37:31):
I'm out of here. You're seriously thinking about this, I
might have to be up out of here.

Speaker 8 (37:42):
Uh how about this?

Speaker 7 (37:44):
How about some Travis Kelce sound from earlier in the
day that we didn't get it?

Speaker 4 (37:48):
Get to you want to hear this?

Speaker 2 (37:49):
Sure?

Speaker 6 (37:50):
Really, you really don't have anything else?

Speaker 8 (37:52):
Okay, something else video that's video game?

Speaker 7 (37:55):
Well I was gonna do this, but I know you
guys are gonna poo poo on this video game fans
and I know you guys used to play video games.

Speaker 8 (38:00):
Back in the day games.

Speaker 7 (38:02):
No, not really, GTA, GTA, Well I do play this GTA.
Grand Theft Auto Number six has been pushback yet again
this morning. Video game fans are going crazy. It was
announced early this morning that was what was going to
be coming out near Christmas this year is now been
pushed back to May twenty six, twenty twenty six. The
last Grand Theft Auto came out September twenty thirteen, so

(38:24):
it's gonna be thirteen years in between releases.

Speaker 4 (38:27):
Can I ask a question that I don't because maybe
this is a dumb question, but I'm gonna ask you
because I don't play the video game, But what really
would change between Grand Theft Auto one and Grand Theft
Auto five. You're stealing cars and you're a dirt bag?

Speaker 2 (38:42):
What's today? They use different people, different celebrities and stuff
like that, different music and storylines, locations, you even streamed
the music anymore.

Speaker 4 (38:52):
Now you can steal as a celebrity.

Speaker 2 (38:56):
They'd be having like Snoop Doll like exclusive video and
it's it's it's like stuff that's in the game that
that you know if you play them, you know you
know what's there.

Speaker 7 (39:10):
I just I think it's gonna have like pretty certain Yeah,
it's it's gonna be all. It's gonna have the largest
map you've ever seen in a in a game.

Speaker 2 (39:18):
It's gonna be awesome. It's gonna be in Miami.

Speaker 4 (39:21):
Do you go to the beach like Madden? I can
understand rosters change each year. What's it like?

Speaker 7 (39:27):
This is Madden doesn't change at all from year to
year other than the roster's change, which is but.

Speaker 4 (39:32):
Like I can understand you want to get like a
you know, the newer version because you but but.

Speaker 2 (39:37):
That's it's the same concept. Then you know that the
graphics are improved more and more. It's more life like.
I think that, like least said, the maps, the maps
are crazy because if you're watching somebody play it, because
I don't play games, but I watch my son play it.
When they're playing that stuff, like it literally is like
the same streets, same same same landmarks, everything.

Speaker 4 (39:59):
I just I'm not I could celebrate theft. I think
it's disgusting, to be honest, I mean, I.

Speaker 2 (40:03):
Agree with you personally. I feel like that's why all
these catches running around acting crazy sa
