the you know, the Hawaii fires too, you know. I
think with everything that we've experienced in LA with the
with the wildfires, you know, and then not too long
ago the fires that decimated the island in so many ways,

I think it's really cool to see how the RAMS
really work.

For how they try to interweave and and kind of
bring awareness, like doing the draft with the firemen at
the fire station. Now going to Maui, I would assume.
I don't know that to be certain, but I just

rams have moved. It seems as though they like bringing
attention to things that matter within their fan base, and
so to go to Maui, go to Hawaii and to
do their mini camp there, it draws attention to the island,
could stimulate some visitation and ultimately could bring some awareness

of a place that still has a lot of recovering
that still needs to take place from the fires that
took place.

so ago, like not too long ago.

And that was actually Maue was where my wife and
I were going to go on our honeymoon, and then
COVID hit and so everything got shut down. And then
you know, a couple of years after that, they had
the fires, which were wild because to see the damage
it caused people jumping in the water trying to get

away from it. It just spread so fast and out
here in southern California. For people listening nationally, it's every
place has a natural disaster they deal with, whether it's
hurricanes in the Southeast, whether it's tornado and stuff like
that in the Midwest. Out here we've got wildfires, but
you almost become accustomed to what it looks like, you know,

the power outages because of the winds where I'm at.
You know, anytime the wind picks up past a certain point,
they just shut the power off like they don't even
like it's gone. And so it could be a day,
it could be two days, it could be three days
like it was you know a few months ago, but
they had never really experienced that in Maui, so there
was no the response that a lot of just didn't

know exactly what to do. And just to see the
devastation of all these beautiful coastlines and you know, places
where people have been there for years, just gutted down
to the floor. Yeah, to see the Rams go out
there and bring a little bit of commerce into the
area again.

A little bit of you know. And and also it
does help that uh you know, it's it's still Hawaii.

It's still a uh you know, it is Hawaii.

That I mean, that is obviously a tremendous bonus, right,
And they did beautiful place.

They did play an exhibition game at the old Aloha
Stadium a couple of years ago. They played a preseason
game out there. So the Rams have done this a
couple of times where they've they've gone out and tried
to show a little bit of love to the great
people of Hawaii.

So, by the way, a tremendous I really would have
never realized it or known it unless I lived in
La But football and in the you know, Samoan community,
the Hawaiian community, brouh, they ain't playing around it is

not a game. It's not like, oh, what what is
this that you're playing? Like, why are you bringing this
sport brings soccer? Like, No, they are warriors and they
play this game and they played the way it's supposed
to be played. They're into learning about how to play it,

and it's it's pretty cool to watch how the culture
plays out, whether whether they're you know, Polynesian, whether they're tongueing,
you know, whatever. You know that it may be that
their background is that that group of people in particular,
they they know about the game.

For a lot of them, it's a way out some
of the greatest players that have ever played the game
from Troy Polamalu, there have been some amazing, amazing football
players with that type of heritage and background. So anyways
to be able to go over there and have have
the mini camp there, I think it's pretty freaking cool.

this is only up for a guy like Nicoua, this
doesn't nothing has happened in this this offseason that would have,
you know, maybe derailed what his his kind of meteoric
rise as as a as a playmaker in the league.
And nothing's going to touch that right now. So you'd

have to assume he's going to have a strong, productive year.
And you'd think that this team, the way they finished
out and the type of talent, the young talent that
they have on this team, you'd assume that with the maturity,
the mix of the maturity and leadership, with a stafford
at at quarterback and the young guns on both sides

of the ball, you you'd have to assume the Rams
are are going to be one of those teams with
blue in it that's going to contend.

mound last night. That was fun to watch, only lasted

an hour at one point, but location was a little off.
I get, you know, the nerves and the excitement of

they beat the Padres last night. But Shoeo Tani's return
and then to see him go back out in the
bottom of the first inning and lead off was just
kind of a kind of a wild thing to look
at considering how great of a hitter he is, and
now he's going to be pitching again.

So so he comes out of the game as a
pitcher but still able to hit.

so to go to Maui, go to Hawaii and to
do their mini camp there, it draws attention to the island,
could stimulate some visitation and ultimately could bring some awareness

that still needs to take place from the fires that
took place.

And that was actually Maue was where my wife and
I were going to go on our honeymoon, and then

you know, a couple of years after that, they had
the fires, which were wild because to see the damage
it caused people jumping in the water trying to get

away from it. It just spread so fast and out
here in southern California. For people listening nationally, it's every
place has a natural disaster they deal with, whether it's
hurricanes in the Southeast, whether it's tornado and stuff like
that in the Midwest. Out here we've got wildfires, but
you almost become accustomed to what it looks like, you know,

the power outages because of the winds where I'm at.
You know, anytime the wind picks up past a certain point,
they just shut the power off like they don't even
like it's gone. And so it could be a day,
it could be two days, it could be three days
like it was you know a few months ago, but
they had never really experienced that in Maui, so there
was no the response that a lot of just didn't

know exactly what to do. And just to see the
devastation of all these beautiful coastlines and you know, places
where people have been there for years, just gutted down
to the floor. Yeah, to see the Rams go out
there and bring a little bit of commerce into the
area again.

does help that uh you know, it's it's still Hawaii.

to show a little bit of love to the great
people of Hawaii.

never realized it or known it unless I lived in
La But football and in the you know, Samoan community,
the Hawaiian community, brouh, they ain't playing around it is

sport brings soccer? Like, No, they are warriors and they
play this game and they played the way it's supposed
to be played. They're into learning about how to play it,

their background is that that group of people in particular,

have to assume he's going to have a strong, productive year.
And you'd think that this team, the way they finished
out and the type of talent, the young talent that
they have on this team, you'd assume that with the maturity,
the mix of the maturity and leadership, with a stafford

are are going to be one of those teams with
