Speaker 4 (01:28):
Hello?

Speaker 1 (01:30):
So Thursday night football the kickoff of week two. So
the Green Bay Packers get it done yet again. I
did see a stat that the Commanders slash Redskins.

Speaker 3 (01:43):
Can I say that? By the way, we'll say that right,
I don't see.

Speaker 4 (01:47):
Oh wow, that's what they were called. Yeah, that's what
they were called.

Speaker 5 (01:54):
That that could be used for a lot of different
things in our history.

Speaker 3 (01:58):
You gotta be careful now, I guess.

Speaker 1 (02:01):
And by the way, on Pro Football Reference, I think
they're listed as the Redskins.

Speaker 4 (02:05):
That's gotta be racist.

Speaker 3 (02:07):
Okay, blame that.

Speaker 4 (02:08):
We' wrong with that.

Speaker 3 (02:08):
I'm not not running the site, but.

Speaker 5 (02:14):
Nothing like I'm not even on air right now, Like
I mean, he's all up on natural radio right now.

Speaker 4 (02:20):
They say Leon, everybody Leon, Leon, Hey.

Speaker 1 (02:25):
Hey, Leon, maybe go down the level seven next time
you guys get gumbo.

Speaker 3 (02:30):
How about that?

Speaker 4 (02:30):
Hey, say go down to level seven.

Speaker 1 (02:32):
Next time we get gup, Levar's got a full trash
can because of you.

Speaker 4 (02:43):
He said, you gotta be all radio struggling. It's borned.

Speaker 5 (02:47):
Yeah, Lee, Yeahlie. It's been rough people out there, y'all
pray for me out there. Man, it's been it's been
a struggle for your boy for the last hour.

Speaker 4 (02:59):
And a half.

Speaker 1 (03:00):
I don't understand because if it should be the opposite,
that's that's the part.

Speaker 4 (03:05):
Of all I know is I got it. It was
really good.

Speaker 5 (03:11):
They asked what level do you want it on in
terms of spice, And that's at my dinner last night
at the Ale House, the American Ale House and Top
Trees and State College Pas.

Speaker 4 (03:21):
Check it out if you ever hear. From Wednesday to Sunday,
they do a h of like a.

Speaker 5 (03:29):
Like a I guess I want to say, like New
Orleans style type of menu that they have added on.
So we always get a tomahawk when we go. There's
big big hunk of of a.

Speaker 3 (03:42):
Tomahawk with the bone in it.

Speaker 4 (03:44):
Yeah. Absolutely, and h we get it butterfly butterfly cut.
So we share that dip because it's super big.

Speaker 5 (03:52):
But we get like these these bowls of like you know,
different ways of eating rice and uh seafood like gumbo
or jumbal eyde type thing, and they ask you what
level of spiciness from one to ten do you want
one being obviously the least, ten being the hottest, and
we both said ten. And for some strange reason, I

(04:15):
don't know why. I mean, it was so spicy. It
had the like the sensory deals on the top of
my scalp, like we're like, I felt like they were
burning off, like they were.

Speaker 3 (04:26):
Like tingling, sweating a little bit.

Speaker 4 (04:29):
I'm sweating a little bit.

Speaker 5 (04:30):
My stomach felt like it felt like it was like, Okay,
I'm burning calories.

Speaker 4 (04:34):
I'm gonna be good. This is good. And then I
woke up this morning, I was like, oh man, just
feeling bad and drink of coffee.

Speaker 5 (04:43):
Thought that, you know, the action would take place at
some point during the show. And I just feel really, really,
really constipated right now.

Speaker 4 (04:51):
And I know that might be a little bit too
much information for y'all out there, but I mean, y'all
are part of our lives, and I just got to
tell y'all, I mean, we got to be honest and
Tran's parent with you guys, because you know, we're part
of one another's lives. What you got Lee?

Speaker 6 (05:05):
You ever have something so spicy that you lose your hearing?

Speaker 4 (05:09):
No?

Speaker 7 (05:10):
Yeah, Bang Jungle Koreer uh Michelin Star Thai restaurant out here.

Speaker 5 (05:14):
In La I could say, there's something, you know else
that happened that was so good.

Speaker 4 (05:19):
I love it.

Speaker 6 (05:20):
I lost my hear and I had to get up
and leave the restaurant.

Speaker 4 (05:22):
In my senses, everything.

Speaker 1 (05:24):
Take a walk, everything like Lee got Lee got van
God because he got spice too hot. Well, that's no
that that doesn't seem like, uh, that doesn't you know?
Maybe uh, maybe she assaulted you, like what maybe that
was uh maybe that's what happened while you're eating. But

(05:44):
I think that's that's the part. And and again we
are going to get back to football here. But this
is important because there might be some people that are
dealing with the struggle. I love spicy food. I get
it as hot as you possibly can. I will eat
Serrano Pepper's all like a spicy the spiciest Indian food
you can get, the spiciest buffalo wings.

Speaker 3 (06:02):
I love spicy food.

Speaker 1 (06:05):
I cannot do it on a work night during the
week because We've got to be up so early that
I don't trust the aftermath the next day, because there
is there is a price to be paid if you
decide to go spice.

Speaker 5 (06:19):
The price is being paid, and after math has not
been after math just yet. I just but we got
one more hour to go till I start my weekend officially,
and hopefully we can make it man. Hopefully that that change,
that shift, so to speak, doesn't take place while I'm
still on air.

Speaker 1 (06:39):
So your former team, the Washington Commanders, that's them, So
they I saw this stat have not won in Green
Bay since nineteen eighty six. And if I'm not mistaken,
that was also the place where you suffered the concussion?

Speaker 3 (06:59):
Correct? Was it green Bay at lambeau Field.

Speaker 5 (07:02):
I did suffer a concussion and and I did. I did,
and that was on a sack on Brett Farv. And
I also made Brett Farv suffer a knee injury in
Green Bay as well, in a separate game. We lost
both those games, obviously.

Speaker 6 (07:21):
That was the game that he almost missed. That was
a big guy.

Speaker 5 (07:24):
If they did not have a bye week, I would
have been the one that broke breast.

Speaker 4 (07:28):
Brett Farv's starting game streak. Yeah, he wouldn't be Yeah,
that's uh me.

Speaker 5 (07:36):
I was taking souls back then, bro, damn right, ripping
them out like like Mortal Kombat.

Speaker 1 (07:45):
And all and all these years later, here you are
still doing it, doing radio wait.

Speaker 4 (07:51):
Or my soul is trying to find its way to
the toilet.

Speaker 1 (07:54):
Yeah, all these years later, it's like, what are you
gonna be doing twenty years from now? I'm gonna be
doing ra with some guy that looks like Dracula.

Speaker 3 (08:03):
Well, I've got a loaf of bread in my back
pocket and a.

Speaker 4 (08:06):
Dude with an alter ego named Walt freaking Crazy.

Speaker 1 (08:11):
Hey, it's it's a real, real fall from grace for
you as we sit here.

Speaker 4 (08:21):
Oh good man.

Speaker 1 (08:22):
Now that being said Jayden Daniels on the opposite side
of the loss last night, Uh, he's not too concerned
about where the commanders stand following last night's performance.

Speaker 8 (08:34):
They executed their scheme, whatever it was, they executed really
well because they won the game and we just didn't
make plays. Starts with meet, he starts with everybody up front,
starts with the whole offensive skill group.

Speaker 2 (08:45):
So it's not.

Speaker 4 (08:46):
Putting point a finger at anybody.

Speaker 8 (08:48):
Collectively, we're all to blame and we'll get back to
work and then the dwell about it. You know, early
in the season, I wouldn't expect them by in this
locker room to hit the panic button. We faced a
really good team and we came up to it.

Speaker 1 (09:00):
So in this hole, Austin Eckler, the Commanders running back.
They fear that he suffered a torn achilles.

Speaker 5 (09:09):
No, that ain't a fear. That's what it was. If
you saw the play, you know he was. He was
planting the go up field, put his foot down and
he put both feet he you know, it's crazy. He
could have tore both of his achilles on that play. Man,
the way he put both of those feet down, they
could have both went. But it definitely won. One of

(09:29):
them went by the way, right, is his right foot?

Speaker 4 (09:32):
Maybe right?

Speaker 1 (09:34):
I believe it was his right Yeah, I think it was.
I remember remember a wide receiver back in the day,
Wendell Davis. Then he tore both a cls on the
same play.

Speaker 3 (09:47):
I think he was playing crazy.

Speaker 1 (09:49):
I think he was playing at the Vet in Philly
and he came down to the turf and ended up
tearing both his achilles lea and bat check. But yeah,
Wendell Davis tore both Achilles, both acls on the same play.
But look, yeah it's one loss, but you know that
that's that's an unfortunate injury. I think if you're the Commanders,

(10:13):
you really kind of only probably have to worry about Philly,
you know what I mean, Like if you if you're Washington,
that seems like a team that's heading in the right direction.
I don't think they're quite at the level of maybe
green Bay, like did. There did appear to be a difference,
and you pointed that out when we talked about the
game early on, that it was they made a team

(10:35):
feel like they were playing at a different speed. And
you know, Jane and Daniels said it best, like that's
a really good football team. And Washington was a good
football team last year, but there was levels to it.
Philly was just a step ahead, and you know, maybe maybe.

Speaker 4 (10:53):
It was close. It was close, It could have it
could have ended differently.

Speaker 5 (10:59):
But but just knowing that even in this game against
green Bay, Jonas, this is a good Washington football team.
I think that that's what makes it such a conversation
about green Bay today. It's not because they're two and
oh really it's because they're two and oh against two fine,

(11:19):
fine football teams, quality football teams, and so I don't.

Speaker 4 (11:25):
I'm with Jaydon Daniels. They can. They can.

Speaker 5 (11:27):
And we talked about this earlier, whether you had a
loss that was competitive.

Speaker 4 (11:32):
This was a competitive football game. I mean.

Speaker 5 (11:36):
Green Bay had control of the game pretty much the
entire game, but nonetheless, it was not a lopsided game.
And then you look at the Miami game in comparison,
and we talked about that earlier the players only meeting,
and that was a lopsided victory for the Colts over
the Miami Dolphins. But nonetheless, the message is still the same.

(12:00):
And listening to what Jayde and Daniels had to say,
get back to the drawing board, learn from the mistakes
that you made. It's early in the season. Make your
adjustments is necessary and needed. Practice hard, take care of
your health, take care of your nutrition, and take care
of your preparation, and get back out there and get
to it and bounce back and and and you know,

(12:24):
erase that that again, you're always one victory away from
erasing the last loss that you had, but you're also
another you're one loss away from having to hear how
terrible and how horrible you are.

Speaker 4 (12:38):
So that's just part of the business.

Speaker 5 (12:40):
That's that's how it all plays out, and you got
to be willing to deal with that. But you also
have to be able to understand that you get another
week to try it again.

Speaker 4 (12:51):
So I don't I don't look at that as like
this was.

Speaker 5 (12:54):
A debilitating loss or something that just just really really
made Washington fans should should have trepidation or anything like that.

Speaker 4 (13:04):
It's a really good football team.

Speaker 5 (13:06):
It's just that green Bay just look faster and they
look better right now then what what Washington did.

Speaker 1 (13:13):
And you know, green Bay, you know, could be the
best team of the league, you know through two weeks
and I know there, you know, there's only a couple
of teams in it's late two weeks, but they look fantastic.
If you're Washington, you've got the Raiders coming up in
week three, so that'll be next weekend for them. You
get them at home, and then you're at Atlanta, You're
at the Chargers, and then you've got the Bears on
Monday night.

Speaker 3 (13:34):
So it's men.

Speaker 4 (13:34):
That's that's a three three on one record right there.

Speaker 3 (13:37):
Yeah, So it's it's definitely.

Speaker 4 (13:38):
Manageable potentially for no potentially.

Speaker 3 (13:43):
And then uh, you know, then you've got Dallas after.

Speaker 5 (13:45):
Chargers would be a really tough game. That'll be a
tough game. Can't can't let Atlanta. Atlanta is one of
them trap game teams. You know, you don't want to
allow a team that's still trying to find their way,
find their footing be able to to chalk up with
w against you. And then who else did you say
they got?

Speaker 3 (14:03):
They got Raiders this week or next?

Speaker 4 (14:06):
Raiders?

Speaker 5 (14:06):
Is that's a dub they've got But that's a trap game.
That could be a track game too. But it's at home,
so they should be good.

Speaker 1 (14:13):
I don't know.

Speaker 5 (14:13):
So they should beat the Raiders, they should beat the Falcons.
Who would you say after that?

Speaker 1 (14:18):
Then they've got the Chargers at the Chargers, and then
they've got the Bears.

Speaker 4 (14:23):
Yeah, I mean, and they should beat the Bears.

Speaker 5 (14:25):
I mean they have them in Chicago or at home
at home, Yeah, they should be able to beat them.

Speaker 4 (14:31):
They should be I mean the Chargers.

Speaker 5 (14:33):
I think the Chargers are going to end up being
one of the best football teams in the NFL this year.

Speaker 2 (14:40):
You know, I really do you know what sticks picks.

Speaker 1 (14:44):
Okay, you know I've made some ballsy picks on this
show too. I can't get any love. But you know,
one of the things that I was thinking about because
the Raiders have the Chargers this week, and so you
know this is going to be, you know, the return
of a little something we like to call on this show.
If you remember last year and the year before that,
when the NFL decided they were going to roll out

(15:05):
a couple of games on Monday Night Football. Depending on
how late the first game on Monday Night between the
Bucks and the Texans go and the Chargers and Raiders
kicks off, we could be looking at the first installment
of double barrel action in the NFL on Monday Night Football.
And the late game to close up Week two is
the Chargers and the Raiders. And I get this funny

(15:28):
suspicion that the Raiders are going to be much better
than people thought going into the year. There's something about
and I know this isn't just because they beat the
Patriots in Week one, and who knows that the Patriots
are even going to be good, but it does feel
like there is a sense of direction that the Raiders
have and it's not a shot at Antonio Pierce or

(15:49):
anything like that, because I think Antonio Pierce was delta
bag of crap, like he just was. I look at
it and I go, Gino Smith at least stabilizes the
quarterback position. There's talent there, the brock Bauers. You know,
we're waiting to see how significant the injury is, and
it didn't. It's not like he's going to miss a
lot of time if he misses any time. But Ashton

(16:11):
Genty looks the part, even though he struggled week one,
and Pete Carroll at least there's a feeling that like,
all right, there's somebody here who kind of has an
idea for how he wants to operate things, and he's
got a front office who's going to back him and
support him, unlike what Antonio Pierce had, and and sort

(16:32):
of the you know, the the circus that have been
going on there, and it just I look at the
Raiders and I go, I see them being anywhere between
a seven and a nine win team, which I think
is probably better than majority of people would have had
them going into the year. It just feels like there's something.

Speaker 5 (16:48):
I'm gonna be a part of that majority. Damn I'm
not buying into that.

Speaker 3 (16:53):
Damn.

Speaker 5 (16:54):
Yeah, I'm not going by into that. But you did
get a Bowl prediction from Jonas. Lorraine.

Speaker 6 (17:03):
You know, you just need to hit it harder, Jonas,
I want you to say. And this is what I'm
taking story.

Speaker 3 (17:08):
In my life. But we'll listen.

Speaker 4 (17:12):
Key, there you go.

Speaker 1 (17:14):
I just think that that they clear on that well. Washington,
you know, is probably bummed out for the performance last night.
You know, there's an opportunity to bounce back in a
strong way, in a strong.

Speaker 4 (17:25):
Waye coming up.

Speaker 5 (17:26):
Yeah, I think they will bounce back. And again, like
I said, outside of the Chargers, the rest of those
games are definitely winnable and doable games, So they have
an opportunity to show that they're a good team that
lost to a good team and that they're on track
for a really good season, just like they did last year.

(17:47):
I got to tell you, I'm just not I'm definitely
not super high on the Raiders.

Speaker 4 (17:52):
I'm just not.

Speaker 5 (17:54):
I think the Raiders are the Raiders until whenever it's
a team like that, They're always who they are until
they show them prove to you otherwise, Like, why would
I think that they're anything different than what they have been.
Like you could say all those things that you said
and that it could sound good, and you brought Pete
Carroll back and they they gave him what he needed.
They brought in Tom Brady and all these other things.

(18:15):
That's still putting makeup on a pig.

Speaker 4 (18:19):
If you ask me, damn until until it's not a
pig with make up on his face. It's a pig.
You're not gonna hide that. So we'll see. Though.

Speaker 1 (18:28):
By the way, if you're a pig and you're listening
to this, I want to apologize with half LeVar Rington.

Speaker 5 (18:35):
I mean I always tell people I think Miss Piggy
is like a dope pig. Though I think she's she's
got nice cur I mean just saying Kermit Kermit was
into her for a reason. You know, other people was
trying to hustle her too. They was trying to get
at Miss Piggy too.

Speaker 3 (18:54):
Let's be honest. Here's something Kermisy.

Speaker 4 (18:55):
Got thick legs. You know that's that's in style back then.

Speaker 3 (19:02):
Does that sound like somebody who's bringing the heat?

Speaker 4 (19:05):
Please? Hey, bro, he's trying to romance her. You know
that's in style.

Speaker 5 (19:11):
The Miss piggy built is install these days and their
their fitness influencers. I find it funny how many juicy,
thick miss piggies out here talking about I'm a fitness
I'm a fitness.

Speaker 4 (19:24):
Fluid Sir, you said you, I don't. I'm not a hater.

Speaker 5 (19:30):
It's like a don't be claiming fitness just because you
got thick legs and a big button though in a
little waist. That's like that don't make you a fitness
That don't make you a fitness instructor.

Speaker 1 (19:41):
That's that's like a bomb. Who's a financial advisors?

Speaker 4 (19:44):
Like?

Speaker 3 (19:44):
Where's your office is underneath that overpass?

Speaker 4 (19:47):
I'll help you save your money? Well, how spend it? Hey,
we don't have none. You ain't got to worry about it? Lee?
Do we have?

Speaker 1 (19:55):
Lee? Do we got the results of the over unders
from last night for the game? Because there was some
u you know, some interesting little bets that were that
were placed. What are we looking at as far as
over unders for the game last night?

Speaker 3 (20:07):
As far as results? What do we got here?

Speaker 9 (20:09):
Uh?

Speaker 6 (20:10):
Yeah, we do have some good stuff.

Speaker 7 (20:12):
Well, we had the over unders for the game was
at forty eight and a half, so we started there
and of course it ended twenty seven eighteen. Good job,
Go Pack Go, which was forty five points, and Jonas,
you were the only one who took the underhall more defense.

Speaker 4 (20:26):
It was. I was not knocks us, great call.

Speaker 5 (20:30):
I just didn't think their defense would be so dominant
against the I thought that they would be able to
neutral last Green Bay, but go ahead.

Speaker 1 (20:37):
I had more faith in my guy, Michah Parsons than
some people on this show did. But again, you know
is what it is.

Speaker 6 (20:42):
Well, we did have the Micah Parsons props as well.
At point twenty five.

Speaker 7 (20:45):
He did only come in with a half a sack,
him and Edrian Cooper coming down with that sack.

Speaker 6 (20:49):
But yeah, everyone took the over on that one, So
good job everyone on that one.

Speaker 7 (20:53):
This was where we got in the weeds a little bit.
We had the Lambeau leap at one and a half,
and I told you guys, there's always Lambeau Leap, but
it's usually only one. Now, we thought maybe with prime
time we'd hit over on that and maybe they'd jump
into the stands a few more times with it being
on primetime, But yeah, it was only Tucker.

Speaker 4 (21:10):
Track bone me.

Speaker 1 (21:13):
Okay, okay, So leep, So none of us had, none
of us, none.

Speaker 7 (21:21):
Of you guys hit that one. And then we did
cutaways to cheese. Kurt you go ahead.

Speaker 1 (21:25):
Well, I was just gonna say, should we be held
accountable for the fact that Packers fans smell? And because
of that, these players don't want to be a part
of them, Like they don't want to jump into a
sea of bo So why would you want to jump
into a sea of sour milk and body odor when when.

Speaker 6 (21:41):
They wash you off with some cold beer, some lukewarm beer.

Speaker 3 (21:44):
Maybe at that point, but like I'll tell you what
if there's.

Speaker 4 (21:48):
I think Green Bay Packers fans smell just fine, Yeah
they do. It's what I think. I don't know.

Speaker 1 (21:54):
Look in that crowd, like, find me one person in
there that's got a bottle of cologne.

Speaker 4 (21:59):
And there meta some cabinet.

Speaker 6 (22:00):
They're making their own cheese.

Speaker 3 (22:02):
Yeah.

Speaker 7 (22:04):
Well, speaking of cheese, we also had a prop of
cutaways to cheese curds.

Speaker 6 (22:07):
There wasn't any cutaways to any uh, to any bars
or anything. I guess Amazon Prime doesn't really do those
kind of those b roll clips of.

Speaker 4 (22:15):
Hey, let's go, don't say on that. He said, yes, over.

Speaker 7 (22:18):
We did everyone took the over you with the lone
star on the under there, so good job on that one.
And then of course it came down to Lee's drinks
two and a half during the game. Uh, that was
everyone took the over on that. No one had faith
in me. Uh And I gave you guys the note
before the game. Nothing in the house. I didn't even
I don't even have any sneak aways, any sneakers.

Speaker 6 (22:41):
Stuck away in the stashed away in the house.

Speaker 1 (22:44):
I guarantee you got Bombay sapphire and a Scope bottle
somewhere in that house.

Speaker 3 (22:48):
Guaranteed there is some bas.

Speaker 4 (22:52):
There. I really don't buy this, but okay, yeah, well listen,
you know.

Speaker 5 (22:59):
The matter because we we we bet on the same thing.
So what me and Jonas tied?

Speaker 6 (23:04):
That is correct?

Speaker 7 (23:05):
You and Jonahs ted at two and three Brady one
in four up up top sticks.

Speaker 6 (23:10):
Some good job, fellas.

Speaker 4 (23:11):
I want to tie you. I want to beat you.

Speaker 1 (23:13):
Yeah all right, well look that is the the result.

Speaker 4 (23:17):
There is a ball beat you. I want to beat
that ass.

Speaker 3 (23:22):

talent on it.

Speaker 5 (24:44):

life experiences loaded with teachable moments. Listen to Up on

Burrs on the iHeartRadio app, Apple Podcasts or where wherever
you get your podcast from.

Speaker 3 (25:04):
Two pros and a cup of Joe.

Speaker 1 (25:05):
Fox Sports Radio, LeVar Arrington, Jonas Knox with you here
coming up in we'll call it fifteen minutes from now.
We are going to have a Football Friday edition of
Lee's Leftovers that will be yours here on FSR. But
everyone knows that first impressions start with the first code.
That's why you can trust Kills Primers for a smooth
and professional finish. Kills Primers now available exclusively at the

(25:29):
Home Depot. If you're a pro, you know, sponsored by
the Home Depot. So even though Brady Quinn is not here,
we got rules on the show, and we got things
to get done on this show. And one of those
things we do during the football season every single Friday,
is we spread them.

Speaker 9 (25:48):
Five lines, not those kind of lines, five picks, five spreads.
Time for picks against the spread?

Speaker 1 (26:00):
All right, So Lee, what are we looking at from
last week? Because I got a bone to pick with LeVar, Brady,
you and anybody else at scoring this cock and meamy
season of picks against the spread.

Speaker 7 (26:12):
Yeah, and I can understand why, Jonas. I think I
know where you're going here, but let's go dive into it.
We had Chiefs at Chargers where LeVar started off strong
with a money line bet on the Chargers to upset
the Chiefs, so we got two points there. You would
also take the Chargers, but not money line, so you
had got only one there, Jonas. H everybody correctly predicted
the Steelers to beat the Jets. Brady and LeVar did

(26:36):
take the Broncos to cover eight and a half versus
the Titans Lions at Packers, everybody took the Packers.

Speaker 6 (26:43):
Good job, everybody there.

Speaker 7 (26:44):
Ravens at Bill's money line, for both Brady.

Speaker 6 (26:47):
And LeVar, it was only a point and a half.

Speaker 7 (26:50):
That the Ravens were favored. That the Bills, of course
pulled the upset money line for both Brady and LeVar.

Speaker 6 (26:55):
And then I even threw in here Vikings at Bears
because I put that in.

Speaker 4 (26:58):
Wait, hold on, hold on, I took the bills.

Speaker 6 (27:01):
You did take bills money line?

Speaker 3 (27:03):
Oh wow?

Speaker 4 (27:03):
Okay, dang okay.

Speaker 7 (27:05):
And then I even threw in here Vikings at Bears
because I put this into Lee's leftovers on Monday Night.

Speaker 4 (27:11):
So that was a Monday Night.

Speaker 6 (27:12):
Game where the Vikings of course covered versus the Bears.
Brady and LeVar took that. Jonas, you went home with
the Bears.

Speaker 7 (27:19):
So where we stand right now after only one week,
LeVar is a perfect eight to o Brady six and one,
and Jonas you are at five hundred and three and three.

Speaker 4 (27:29):
Oh, because I got two points.

Speaker 3 (27:30):
Yeah, this is like, this is the problem. Yes, they've
knock lock. Congratulations Jonah, thank you. Here's the issue.

Speaker 1 (27:40):
LeVar and Brady have made a mockery of an honest
segment on National Sports Radio, Like this used to be
an honest, real segment where we picked against the spread,
and instead it's turned into the NBA where we're now
not going to ducked points. So we're going to reward

(28:02):
players differently if they throw half court shots in because
it won't count against your field percentage.

Speaker 3 (28:07):
Make it.

Speaker 4 (28:08):
If you miss on the money line, then deduct the point.
How about that.

Speaker 3 (28:12):
I threw that out earlier this week, and no.

Speaker 4 (28:14):
We can implement that. We can implement that. That's fine.

Speaker 6 (28:17):
Can you do this math properly?

Speaker 9 (28:19):
Lee?

Speaker 3 (28:19):
All right?

Speaker 6 (28:19):
I mean yeah we can because they're Yeah, I could
absolutely so.

Speaker 1 (28:22):
For example, if there's an underdog and you pick the
underdog to win outright, you get two points. But if
you go outright winner and they lose, you lose a point.

Speaker 4 (28:31):
That's fine.

Speaker 6 (28:31):
Yeah, so basically be losing two points.

Speaker 4 (28:34):
We can implement that. That's fine.

Speaker 6 (28:37):
Yeah, all right, yeah, I think that's fair enough.

Speaker 4 (28:40):
I had no problem with that.

Speaker 6 (28:41):
All right, Well, I got it.

Speaker 7 (28:43):
I hate to step on your toes here, LeVar, but
we're gonna start off here for week two, forty nine
Ers at Saints, and you've already delivered your money line
yesterday for this one for the Saints. The Niners are
favorite three, but you have delivered your six picks money
line on the Saint.

Speaker 4 (28:58):
Yeah. I'm money.

Speaker 2 (28:59):
I'm at that sticks picks.

Speaker 4 (29:01):
Yeah, I'll stand on busy boy.

Speaker 1 (29:04):
What a you imagine like having to go in at
the weekend knowing that, like, well, I really did take
the Saints on the money line, Like I really did that,
like that.

Speaker 5 (29:15):
And it's gonna and they're gonna win. Hard to play
in New Orleans, Man, and it's hard to play with
a banged up team that ain't good to begin with.

Speaker 4 (29:24):
So there you go, Jonas.

Speaker 6 (29:26):
Who do you've got?

Speaker 1 (29:28):
Oh man, you guys had too many beignetes at the bar, Man, Well,
nobody would eat. Then I had a whole tram, right yeah, no,
And and you were forced to drink Hurricanes.

Speaker 4 (29:39):
On top of that, forced to drink.

Speaker 6 (29:42):
Yeah, yeah, I have three Hurricanes. Yeah, that all went
down to drink. It's three, yes, Rightings Niners, Moneys three
On the.

Speaker 3 (29:54):
Road, I'll take Sam Bran.

Speaker 2 (29:58):
Knocks Flock.

Speaker 7 (30:01):
Moving on NFC East show Down between the Giants and
the Cowboys.

Speaker 6 (30:05):
Cowboys are four and a half point favorites at home.

Speaker 4 (30:08):
Cowboys will cover.

Speaker 1 (30:11):
The sticks picks, Yeah they will.

Speaker 3 (30:16):
I'll take Dallas.

Speaker 2 (30:19):
Knocks locks.

Speaker 6 (30:21):
You know, Pickens comes to play this time. Get some
get some catches. How about this Panthers at Cardinals. Cardinals
six and a half point favorites at home.

Speaker 4 (30:32):
I'm taking Carolina beat them about more than six.

Speaker 1 (30:38):
Got them really tempted to take Carolina too. Jeez, this
is a tough one.

Speaker 3 (30:48):
Damn, this is a tough one. I will go. I'll
take Carolina as well too.

Speaker 6 (30:56):
All right, guys, super Bowl rematch here, Eagles at the Chiefs.
Eagles are a point and a half favorites.

Speaker 1 (31:04):
I'll take Kansas City. Look, when do you get to
see Patrick Mahomes is an underdog, not that much, and
so I I have a rule. If Patrick Mahomes is
getting points and yes at home, I'll take the Chiefs.

Speaker 3 (31:17):
Bounce back, spot.

Speaker 4 (31:19):
Go you could hit his his his sound God, he's
taking the Chiefs.

Speaker 2 (31:24):
Knocks locks.

Speaker 4 (31:27):
It's my money line of the week, second one.

Speaker 6 (31:30):
He always sticks line. Who on the Chiefs?

Speaker 4 (31:35):
Come on line in the Chiefs?

Speaker 3 (31:39):
Well, then can I have money line the Chiefs too?

Speaker 4 (31:40):
And the Chiefs to you already put your you already
put your your bad end. Hold on.

Speaker 6 (31:47):
Brady did this last week so he could so Jodas
gets to do this.

Speaker 3 (31:50):
Okay, hold on a second. So even though they.

Speaker 4 (31:52):
Are a point piggyback off of me, they're the underdog.

Speaker 7 (31:57):
It's a point a half. So what like you're getting
that's what I mean. Yeah, so what exactly? But Brady
did the same thing after this last week.

Speaker 3 (32:05):
And this is the problem, man, I told.

Speaker 4 (32:07):
You guys, this is the problem man, all of you guys.

Speaker 1 (32:14):
If Lee, LeVar and Brady would have just come sat
on Daddy's lap, I would have told you how gambling works.

Speaker 3 (32:19):
What I told you that it works.

Speaker 4 (32:22):
God, dang, laugh the hell are you talking about? I
look like sitting on your leg.

Speaker 1 (32:37):
Yeah, I'll go money line, I'll say, if we're heading
out points like this and this, Nickel and Diamond operate
knock and you.

Speaker 7 (32:44):
Know, Brady's gonna just follow suit with you guys. When
I give him these, he's gonna be picking last. And
I will update these as we go. Falcons at Vikings
Sunday Night Football. To cap it all off, Vikings at
home or three and a half point favorites.

Speaker 3 (32:57):
Atlanta getting three and a half points, Vikings will cover.

Speaker 2 (33:02):
Knocks, locks, sticks, picks.

Speaker 3 (33:07):
That's just so much going on. That's going a lot.
That's just so much going on. Is that Italy?

Speaker 6 (33:13):
That's it for week two?

Speaker 3 (33:14):
There we go, There we go.

Speaker 4 (35:41):
Now I got the saying why for twenty Damn?

Speaker 7 (35:48):
I remember I I updated an iPhone years and years ago.
I had just gotten it and I decided to go
to like a theme park the next day and it
flew out of my pocket on a roller coaster and
they wouldn't they they I told them, I was like,
what had happened? And they were convinced that I was

(36:09):
videotaping while I was on the roller coaster?

Speaker 6 (36:11):
Were you No, I'm not that kind of guy. And
uh So, anyway, they wouldn't. They wouldn't acknowledge the insurance
on it. And I had to deal with an old
iPhone for years.

Speaker 1 (36:22):
That would only happen to you, though, Like that's the problem.
That's literally what only happened to you, that that that
would be.

a couple of years ago.

Speaker 1 (37:04):
Didn't you By the way, if Lee got his blood drawn,
it would be on draft at the good Night in twenty.

What color is this look like? I got them beans?

the rim.

didn't drink, can I have like a bloody Mary this morning?

Speaker 1 (37:53):

entire year or is it just wait till the weekend.

Speaker 7 (37:58):
I'm just gonna wait for the Packers games. And depending
on how Micah performs. I get to, you know, bank
some drinks.

Speaker 1 (38:04):
I think, Williams, if you stayed high and dry this
weekend this week, I think you let it, let it
rip this weekend.

Speaker 4 (38:10):
That's crazy. I don't care. I told you already. I
don't care. I feel like the bet is off.

Speaker 6 (38:16):
Now anyway, Why why is the bet off?

Speaker 4 (38:19):
It's off. Just do what you want to do.

Speaker 6 (38:22):
Okay, that's fair?

Speaker 2 (38:23):
Yeah, fair enough?

Speaker 5 (38:25):
Life, man, You know, life is short. You know we
