Speaker 2 (00:27):
Give this part you're listening to Fox Sports Radio.
Speaker 3 (00:34):
All right, good morning everyone out there. Good morning. I
hope you're enjoying this beautiful Thursday morning. Hopefully we get
you to where you're going or get you through what
you're going through with some cool sports talk. Uh. I'm
LeVar Arrington. That's Jeff Schwartz. This is Two Pros and
a Cup of Joe. Jonas Knox and Brady Quinn are
(00:58):
off for the week. But as you may have heard
and the last hour, the rumors are that well maybe
the group might be all back together again next week.
So we'll see, we'll see how that all works. But
I'll tell you what we are. We are live and
we're broadcasting from the tyrack dot com studios people. Tyrack
(01:21):
dot com will help you get there, an unmatched selection,
fast free shipping, free road hazard protection, and over ten
thousand recommended installers. Tyrack dot com the way tire buyings
should be. Jeff, I think we had a great conversation
with Albert Brer and if, by the way, you guys
missed the ab conversation that we had, it's okay. You
(01:43):
can go wherever it is that you get your podcasts
and download it all right, just just downloaded boom right there,
two pros and coup of Joe hit it down. You
be able to listen to our discussion with Albert Breer
and hour two of the show. But he said something
that was pretty interesting, And I mean it's been a
topic of conversation, the whole idea and discussion of voting
(02:06):
a owner out. It almost seems as though Dan Snyder
is trying to leverage that idea and that belief based
upon you know, that not becoming a thing that the
owners will want. Here's what AB had to say on
that topic, and I'm interested to get your your opinion
on it.
Speaker 4 (02:26):
They all have turned under their fingernails and they don't
want to set the present of voting each other out,
and in these sorts of situations they would rather not
have that lever ever be pulled, because once that lever
gets pulled, and once the public outcry to get somebody
out pushes somebody out, then those guys lose some level
of control.
Speaker 3 (02:46):
Right.
Speaker 4 (02:47):
And I'm not saying that every other owner has done
stuff as dad as Daniel Snyder, you know, has done
the egregious things that Daniel Snyder's done, But there are
a lot of them that have, i mean, some sketchy
stuff in their past and some stuff that if it
came to light probably wouldn't look real good. And you know,
I think the feeling is that once you vote one
(03:10):
guy out, well, the next time any owner does anything wrong,
there's gonna be a public outcry to pull the Snyder lever.
So you know, if they can push Jerry Richardson out,
they can push Dan Snyder out and make them leave
on their own, well, then you know, they can kind
of keep that record of never having voted anybody out,
and then anytime somebody calls for them to pull that
(03:32):
lever on someone else, they can say, well, that's just
not something we do.
Speaker 3 (03:37):
It's an excellent point that Albert made. What what is
your what's your take on that?
Speaker 5 (03:43):
Well, it's a good point, right, they're protecting their backs,
they're they're they're protecting themselves. If you just don't commit
any mouthfeasts, you won't have to worry about it, right,
So like that's right, Like that's the other angle this,
like just don't just don't do anything that would make
you have to get fired. Right, But I understand that
that there's everyone has dirt under their under their you know,
(04:03):
under their nails, and they don't want to get in trouble.
But again, you can make the argument that like, hey,
just just don't do anything that would get you and
the point where someone wants to sell your team. But
nonetheless I get protecting themselves, protecting their brands all makes sense.
But the sneiner is already, at least according to reports,
try to put dirt out on on other owners.
Speaker 3 (04:26):
Right.
Speaker 5 (04:26):
We know that story about about Jerry Jones that was
put out about where he was standing as a youth
in Arkansas, right that that was probably from Daniel Snyder,
you know, the the the John Gruden emails or is
that from Daniel Snyder? We don't know, but people think
it think it was. And he's already put things out
and the NFL is pretty untouchable.
Speaker 3 (04:45):
Okay.
Speaker 5 (04:45):
And if this owner is not going to agree to
the terms of the sale, he shouldn't hold it up
because you're worried about him basically blackmailing you. In my opinion,
I get it. Don't want to set precedent. Those are
all things. Alabrera brought up great points. But you can't
let one owner like this hold you hostage.
Speaker 3 (05:08):
But it seems like that's what he's doing. Oh no, absolutely,
he's doing that.
Speaker 5 (05:11):
And you mentioned the point yesterday we were talking about
this subject because the article came out from ESPN and
you said that the report should be made public.
Speaker 3 (05:20):
And I agree with you.
Speaker 5 (05:21):
And this is part of the negotiation, right Dan Snyders
does not want this report to come out. No, And
part of the discussion I would imagine is, hey, I
will go willingly, I will sell my team. I won't
make us think about it, but you cannot release that report.
And to that I would say, no deal, Bye bye,
You're out of here. We are voting you out, and
(05:43):
we're releasing that report. So there's negotiations happening, and it's
sensitive to figure out how to make this work. To
war again help what's right.
Speaker 3 (05:52):
But if you.
Speaker 5 (05:55):
Don't act in a way that puts your franchise at
risk of being forced to sell, that you should have
to you should worry about blackmail, right, because that's not
a concern of yours.
Speaker 3 (06:11):
See, my thing is guys have already done things that
Dan Snyder is aware of. And I think there's there's
always the idea of you know, people, people could get
in trouble on the on the back end of things
like this just because of spike and envy and jealousy
(06:32):
and hate and anger and all kinds of disappointment whatever
it may be. But then there's the idea for me
looking at this scenario. And you mentioned the report, I
almost look at it as it becomes the bible of
everyone who wants to sue Dan Snyder. I think it
(06:52):
goes from legal legal ramifications of what's taking place with
the team to legal grammifications for him personally. It's not
just to me business reputation. I think that that report
would be so damning. It would be so damning that
(07:13):
what what I mean, what court of law wouldn't award
civil civil settlements or civil suits to a ton of
the people that would foul against him. I think he's
really I think he's really fighting to avoid having to
to be tied up in court hearings and settlement agreements
(07:36):
and different things like that and move on with his life.
But with that being said, you did it, and there
are still a lot of people that are are they
don't feel whole from what took place, and and they
they want their you know, they want their retribution, they
want their vindication from the scenario in the situation, and
(07:56):
people that have experienced it, I would say they do
deserve it. I know, I feel like I'm one of them,
but I mean, I'm not going after him, but I definitely,
you know, feel like there should be some vindication there
on how I was you know, portrayed or put out
there in the media to a fan base that was
(08:19):
I was endearing too, and they were endeared to me. So,
you know, it's a complex situation, but I definitely feel
as though Dan Snyder is in a situation. You know what.
What else came to me that I was a little
bit interested by Jeff is how the timing of the
(08:41):
leaks took place, but there haven't been any leaks since.
After all, the movement got going, right, So if let's
just say for two seconds, John Gruden was collateral damage
to a larger situation to get Daniel Snyder out of
Washington as the owner of that team. That's what I
(09:03):
believe took place. So why have there not been any
more leaks of of information? It just seems that leak
would have been deliberate and it was thought out, and
it was an execution that took place. And I think
it was the execution of Dan Snyder being the owner
of the Washington football team.
Speaker 5 (09:25):
So they basically traded off those things, right, Yeah, no, no,
No leaks is interesting. I think it hurts both sides
if leaks come out. Right, if you're trying to make
this happen, like you would, you would hope this gets
done as quiet as possible. And that might be some
of that as well, right LeVar, Like, again, we won't
leak this out, you lead nothing out, We get this
(09:46):
done and we move it along. It's it's like beneficial or.
Speaker 3 (09:49):
You're taking too long. So if another leak comes out,
that that that pressure, that public pressure, and whether it's
it's Dan Snyder that leak something now or if it's
the the other side of it that leak something now.
Speaker 5 (10:06):
Yes, pressure, but I don't think it's going This doesn't
feel like it's going any slower than it should be, right,
I mean, it sale happened pretty fast, like it was
like I'm selling the team. Okay, boom, we find a buyer.
It's done. So it doesn't feel like it's going any
faster or slower than it should be. So there might
(10:26):
not be a need to put that pressure on. It's
it's gonna happen. It's a matter of now. But if Snyder, Okay,
if Snyder leaks out more more things about NFL teams
and owners and whatnot, the NFL is gonna vote him out,
and he's gonna They're gonna release that report, right, Like
it's mutually beneficial for both sides. There's stuff of the
report I would imagine that makes the NFL look bad,
(10:48):
not just Washington truth. And there's stuff that you know,
Sinder came, I think it's mutually beneficial to not put
out the information.
Speaker 3 (10:56):
Yeah, well I would. I would certainly hope that the
report is released at some point. I mean, Roger Goodell
city would release, it would be released. The report should
be released. I mean, there's so many things that are
public domain. Why wouldn't a report of the workplace environment investigation?
(11:22):
Why wouldn't you just make those those those results you
know public? I mean, Okay, it's going It may hurt
you as your image as the NFL, because there may
be some things that expose you. There may be some
things that expose other owners. There may be other things
that are exposed. But like you said earlier in the segment,
(11:43):
why do things that are going to paint you in
that light? Why do that? So it's done, it's already
been captured and reported. I think if you're really looking
at it from a critical perspective, it really should make
you a tad bit I guess when looking at how
(12:05):
the NFL does things, I mean, do you lose a
little bit of confidence and and or lose a little
trust and how you feel about the league Because a
situation as touchy as this, where you could give people
some clarity and some closure on it, you're not going
to do it because it seems like there's a bigger
agenda that's at play, there's a bigger reputation at stake
(12:27):
than just one owner's and so you don't do it.
It just kind of comes across as you know, what
what unscrupulous is? Would that be a good way of
putting it? Like it just it just doesn't seem like
it would be correct.
Speaker 5 (12:44):
Yes, I'm I'm I'm going to agree with you there.
I'm just curious again how this ends up, right, I mean,
you have a vote pretty soon, and then when he
when he leaves.
Speaker 3 (12:56):
When he leaves.
Speaker 5 (12:58):
Is not the end of any of these stories, LaVar
look is at the end of it, Cider leaves, and
you know, I.
Speaker 3 (13:06):
Think that's what he wants it to be. Yeah, But
I don't. I just don't think that it can be.
I don't think that it can be. But I think
that if that report doesn't come out, if they can't
go after him, if people can't go after him legally,
whatever it is that's connected to the league that Dan
Snyder is trying to get them to sign off on,
in terms of just closed the book on all of
(13:29):
these things, I just don't think it's going I don't.
I don't think the Dan Snyder's story is going away
the moment he sells this team, and I think he
believes it is, but I don't think that's going to happen.
Speaker 5 (13:43):
Because I mentioned, like Donald Sterling, that was it. They
went away, it was done, it was gone. They just
like moved on to Steve Balmer. Jerry Richardson was the
last owner. It was kind of forced in the end.
Speaker 3 (13:54):
You don't really hear about Jerry Richardson. No, you don't
hear about him.
Speaker 5 (13:58):
He did pass away recently, so you so, you know,
but you know, when when when Tepper came here to
to Charlotte, you know, there was obviously you know, big
big news and he's kind of loud and brash, and
he's a finance guy and he you know, he did
a bunch of stadium upgrades and got and got you know,
(14:21):
got a CFC team here. So yeah, there really was
not much you know, talk about, you know, Jerry Richardson
when when he you know, when he left. So Snyder's
more polarized than Jerry Rickson ever was as well. So
I don't know, Look, you're you're I don't know if
you root for the Commanders at all.
Speaker 3 (14:42):
I do. I'm still of thee.
Speaker 5 (14:46):
I have close friends that are Commanders fans. They just
can't wait for this to be over and get a
new owner in there and Josh Harris and restore pride
to the organization, right would be nice, and restore you know,
the feeling of like I'm proud to be a Commander's fan.
I also think they should change the name of Commanders
(15:07):
or something else.
Speaker 3 (15:07):
But the point.
Speaker 5 (15:11):
And you know, FedEx Field probably needs a little bit
of a facelift as well. So yeah, yes, I start,
let's start with saying a facelift at first, but yes
it needs so there's a lot of things for Josh
to do when when he gets to But again, I
think we're storing uh, the fan base to feeling more
(15:32):
connected to the franchise and it can be proud of
the franchise, be proud to be a Washington fan. You know,
wins and losses will change each year as usual, but
you know, again being able to say, hey, I'm I'm
prideful in the team that I root for. I think
Commanders fans right now kind of hold their heads and
shame sometimes when they tell people that they root for
(15:53):
that team.
Speaker 3 (15:54):
Coming up next on Two Pros and a Cup of
Joe Live from the Tyrack dot Com Studios, a King
has decided, well, has let everyone know he's decided. He's
not putting his crown on the shelf just yet. We'll
talk to some Lebron James on the other side of
this break. Fox Sports Radio will be right back.
Speaker 2 (16:15):
Be sure to catch live editions of Two Pros and
a Cup of Joe with Brady Quinn, LeVar Arrington, and
Jonas Knox weekdays at six am Eastern three am Pacific
on Fox Sports Radio and the iHeartRadio II.
Speaker 3 (16:29):
Uh uh uh uh, come on, come on, come on.
Welcome back in to Two Pros and a Cup of Joe.
I got my man chest sports whip me in the row. Yeah,
we're gonna do some sports talk. Yeah, that's what we're
gonna do. We're gonna talk some sports to you. We're
(16:50):
gonna talk about some round ball that that you shoot
and try to make itto the basket. All right, Welcome
back into Two Pros and a Cup of Joe. That
that freestyle did not go the way that I intended
to or hope for to go. But you know what,
I tried. I gave it an effort. And you know what,
Lebron James he's going to try and he's going to
give it an effort. He is not retiring. In fact,
(17:14):
at the SP Awards last evening, here's what he had
to say.
Speaker 6 (17:18):
I don't care how many more points I score or
what I can and cannot do on the floor. The
real question for me is can I play without cheating
his game? The day I can't give the game everything
on the floor is the day I'll be done looking
for you guys.
Speaker 3 (17:33):
That day is not today. Pretty interesting. You do know
that the decision, the decision anniversary just passed and that
almost sounded like decision esque, you know, just very saying
(17:54):
very lebron Jane James is I mean, I'll say this,
I've been around. I was actually or for note, I
was actually at the first SB Awards that he attended
many many many moons ago. Yeah, I was. I was
there and so him and d Wade and Carmelo Anthony
(18:14):
all those guys had just gotten drafted. And it's interesting.
He has evolved, he has grown, he has developed, and
he has turned into what I would consider to be
a masterful marketer, O masterful business person, a masterful entertainer,
(18:36):
and someone who understands. You know, in business, they say
you have to know where your community is you have
to know how to build your tribe because ultimately that's
who you do business with. Right, he has mastery of
being able to communicate and build with the people who
(19:00):
truly subscribe to being a part of his community and
being a part of his tribe. So for that, I
definitely get hats off and applaud him for the career
that he's had, Jeff and the things that he's been
able to accomplish. And he's right. I mean, while he
does not look like a young Lebron James when he's
(19:24):
out there on the court, he certainly is still playing
at a high, high enough level where you don't feel
as though you're looking at him and saying, you know,
Lebron should hang it up. I saw impressive moments, impressive
minutes still this past season with Lebron James.
Speaker 5 (19:44):
Yes, and this tells me I am a Lakers fan
so obviously for the success of the Lakers that he
thinks they can still win a championship, right, And he's
not He's not playing unless that he can win, Like
there's just that's just he's not doing that. So to me,
that shows that he thinks they can still win a championship.
(20:04):
Now I'm curious what moves they make this office, if
they have anymore to make to improve the roster to
where he feels that they're going to win a championship.
But to me, it is Lakers fan. It's like, Okay,
he still thinks they can win a championship. Otherwise he's not.
He's not doing this just to continue to play. Now,
there could be the idea that maybe he's waiting for
a son and they want to play together, but he
(20:24):
has said, look, he goes that might be my dream,
it might not be my son's dream, and so that
that might not work out in the end. But to me, Lvar,
this says, hey, man, I still think we can win
a championship.
Speaker 3 (20:36):
Otherwise I don't think he's playing Yeah, well, I I
don't know. I think his motivation is to undoubtedly one
hundred percent be the greatest basketball player to ever play
the game. I still think that that's a part of
his thought process in all of this. I think his
(20:58):
son does play a part. I mean, his youngest son
might be better than DIVI Ronnie. You know, I think
it does play a part. How big. I don't know
how big of a role that plays, but it just
seems like Lebron. I mean, they they went on a
run this year. Yeah it was, it didn't seem probable,
(21:19):
but they did go on a run this year and
and make a make a go of it. So there's
no reason to think that if you could score a
you know, a top free agent through a trade what
have you, and add somebody to to that team that
could possibly make them, you know, a little bit better
(21:41):
than what they were this past year, who's to say
that they can't be that team that goes and wins
another one or another two before he gets up out
it out of here. So I think Jordan's championship League
and getting to Kobe is on Lebron's mind if you
ask me, I think that's an honest way of looking
(22:02):
at it. And you know that's that's how.
Speaker 5 (22:04):
I don't think there's anything he can do now outside
of winning you know, two championships to match Jordan where
he's gonna catch him just in the eyes of people
that don't want him to be Jordan, Right, Yeah, So
I just so I don't really think I don't know
if he knows that, but like just personally, he's either
the people that think he's good enough to be in
(22:26):
that conversation already believe that the people that don't don't
and nothing he does will change that. And I think
he probably knows that, but he's playing to me. He's
just playing for championships now and possibly he'll be able
to play with this with his son.
Speaker 3 (22:40):
One day, and I think that sounds about right now.
It's time for the Progressive play of the day at Turner,
need to save.
Speaker 2 (22:48):
I want to see it.
Speaker 7 (22:49):
Fly off target for the US to stay alive, and
Kaskia scores and pan them off for the first time
in a decade.
Speaker 3 (23:00):
Well play in the Gold Cup final.
Speaker 7 (23:08):
Heartbreak for this young American team, But look at the
joy from Los Canelos Rockstone over to you as it
finishes in San Diego.
Speaker 2 (23:18):
Want a piece through extra time?
Speaker 7 (23:20):

eight hundred Progressive all right. I sat at home yesterday
(23:48):
Schwartzy I watched the quarterback. I got it. Mitt Peyton Manning.
He's a dope producer. Man. Oh you mean at at
dopeness at more dopeness to his dopeness resume, But Peyton
Manning has done it again. The whole is that omaha
productions that dad, I mean, it's it's yeah, a lot
(24:10):
of omaha. Yeah. Let me tell you something that was.
I know we're talking. We've been talking hard knocks and
we've been talking. I loved the format of this show.
I love the way that they they delved into the
personal aspect of it. I love the way that they
(24:31):
they captured the sights and sounds of what was taking
place on the field. I didn't know Patrick Mahomes had
that much personality. I did. I didn't know Patrick Mahomes
was was uh, he got a little he got a
little gobbling in him, little dog at him right, he
got a little dog man. I did not know the
cool kid little dog in him, got a little dog.
(24:53):
I did. I sort of do that.
Speaker 5 (24:55):
I'm a Chiefs family. I I my brother played for
the Chiefs. He once you rolled out, I generally know that,
I think. But the fact is, like he went up
right in Max Crosby's face and it was screaming at him.
He's one of those guys, those competitors. That's good. Obviously
we know he's elite, but like you just don't want
to piss off, you know, like you don't want to
make it where he wants to rip your soul out,
(25:18):
Like he's gonna try to do that anyways, but then
when you make it worse, he's kind of you just
don't want to do that too, man, And he his personality,
his will to win, all those things are pretty incredible.
And I love the show because it gives you a
good look into three quarterbacks at three different points of
(25:41):
their careers.
Speaker 3 (25:41):
Right, So you have you.
Speaker 5 (25:43):
Have obviously Mahomes, young, successful, driven, kind of a new
kind of a new age way to train with you know.
They they showed a lot of him in his trainer Bobby.
They doing kind of different, you know, different ways to prepare.
That's not the normal way you're gonna see a lot
of quarterbacks prepare. Then you have Cousins, I think is
more of a traditional quarterback and the way that he
(26:05):
prepares and plays the game. I actually find myself liking
Kirk Cousins a lot more. I didn't have an opinion
about him personally, I don't think, but I just feel
myself like liking him more. I like to just listen
to him talk about football and the physical pain he
went through to play in some of those games. I've
only watched three episodes. And Marcus Mariota, who you know,
is a legend in organ right, he won the Heisman
(26:26):
in Organ. I'm always rooted for him, but he's a
different point of his career than the other two guys.
He's fighting for just kind of playing time. And then
him saying he hated Washington was great. Not not Huskies,
but I'm not Commanders, but Huskies. And so you have
these different these these two guys, different points in their careers.
Some have two kids, some have four kids. Some are
having their first kid too. So just personally, LeVar like
(26:47):
I didn't have kids. I had one kid while I played,
but he was very young, so, you know, kind of
listening to them talk about trying to balance father time
with playing the position, it's been great. And then also too,
I think it was very fun to hear and they're
not doing that a ton of it, especially on the
chief side, because the Chiefs are kind of an touristic
secret with some of the play call and stuff, but
(27:08):
you hear that the play calls and you hear the
actual things that are happening on the field. I love it, man,
I can't. I love these shows. I cannot watch enough
of them.
Speaker 3 (27:20):
I thought it was well done, man, I won't lie.
And you know, the whole Kirk Cousins piece of it
I thought was interesting because I think we've all well
I won't say we all, but I thought he was
kind of like a cornball, you know. And and while
he kind of is, he is kind of a cornball,
but he's he's a super cool cornball. Yeah, Like he's
(27:43):
just as cool as it gets. Like, you know, he's
he's clearly a spiritual Christian faith or I don't even
want to say Christian face. I don't know what his
faith is, but it seems like he's a Christian. Yeah,
I believe. I'm certain that a right. Yeah, he's spiritual. Yeah,
he's really just you can tell that his morals and
his values are you you said traditional quarterback. Uh. I
(28:07):
think his way of life is traditional. Yes, you know,
his approach to things, like his his modesty is is
pretty pretty it's pretty interesting, you know. It's it's uh,
it's like he has his little hidden room where where
his awards are and stuff like that. And while those
awards are important to him, he doesn't flaunt them in
(28:31):
his in his home and different things like that. And
it's just interesting the dynamic, the mental emotional makeups of people, like,
you know, he's less less like flashy. You look at
you look at Pat Mahomes and Patrick Mahomes and and
(28:52):
the documentary and even his wife. They're they're a little
bit more exuberant, a little bit more and also.
Speaker 5 (29:01):
They're also younger. LeVar like, that's a big part of
this because I played.
Speaker 3 (29:04):
It like the cousin Kirk has always been this way, bro.
Speaker 5 (29:08):
I know, but but people are I've seen people knock
oh Mahomes, they front their wealth.
Speaker 3 (29:12):
I don't know.
Speaker 5 (29:12):
The twenty seventies won two Super Bowls to two MVPs,
like he's worth millions of Yeah, I think at twenty
seven I'd probably do that too.
Speaker 3 (29:20):
I mean they flew into the they flew into the game.
They had to cheer leaders, Like, let me tell you something,
if you're not sitting there and wishing that you were
Patrick Mahomes or Patrick Mahomes's you know wife. Then you know,
I guess God bless you and you know, good for
you and whatever it is that your idea of what
(29:42):
you would want your life to play out to be.
But I know I lived it, and I was still
sitting there like, man, I know I wouldn't do to
be able to be Patrick I was. Yeah, I'm sitting
there and I've lived it. I was number two overall
draft pick in the draft. I was created player at
the draft. I was a seventh round draft pick. I'm
like looking at this, like I didn't live this life.
(30:04):
Pretty cool anyways, I still live a dope life and
I still found myself sitting there watching this show, like, man,
I wonder what it would be like to be Patrick Mahomes,
like a grown ass man. Yeah, and I think that's
pretty cool.
Speaker 5 (30:23):
I think the thing that that strikes me about Mahomes
just as a competitor.
Speaker 3 (30:28):
Man, It's like just.
Speaker 5 (30:30):
This this the he he's so relaxed in tough situations
and they talk a lot about the you know, he
prepares for that, right, prepares for those situations with either way,
he trains and whatnot. And I agree, like I think
he surely does. But you know, those special players, and
I don't know if you played with a quarterback that's
(30:51):
I played with Eli Manning for for two years. Oh yeah,
yes you did for a year. Yeah, And you know,
there's there's just something about those guys that really that's
not really tangible, and it's he's just different and you
lest talk about the game and you watch his competitive nature.
(31:12):
But also the way that I think all three quarterbacks
I found pretty interesting is all three were really honest
about their play on the field, like like, yeah, like
I fumbled the ball. We lost, that's my fault. I
got to be better. And Cousins talking and just Pat
Mahomes going over to teammates. All three did this but
you know, hey, guys, my bad. You know, all get
(31:33):
better at this, and let's work on this together and
let's find a way to make these routes work. And
I just thought that they really did a good job
because that's how it is, by the way, like that's
how during games and afterwards privately, right not so much
maybe publicly, but privately.
Speaker 3 (31:48):
Everyone takes playing for their own issues.
Speaker 5 (31:50):
And to hear the quarterbacks do that on the show,
I thought was good for the public to see because
that's what happens in locker rooms, like guys.
Speaker 3 (31:58):
For the most part.
Speaker 5 (31:59):
The reason why Zach Wilson and it's not this quarterback
anymore with a gunny in Rogers two was like no,
So after back game is like, not my fault, and
everyone's like, yeah, you gotta take a little bit of
you're gonna be honest with yourself, right, And so I
thought that was a good part of the show as well.
Speaker 3 (32:14):
I thought it was well done. It's interesting. Before we
go to break, I would say if I would challenge
people to look up in the history of the game,
Trent Dilford comes to mind immediately, But how many teams
have won a Super Bowl without a franchise quarterback. It's
impossible now, It's it's I mean, it's nearly impossible, and
(32:41):
it hasn't happened. And you know, the interesting thing about
it is is you're watching a show where you can
see a bona fide franchise quarterback, a quarterback that is
fighting to just stay in the league, and a quarterback
that is teetering and and clawing and fighting and scraping
(33:03):
to be that next level franchise quarterback. But I don't
know that he'll ever be that.
Speaker 8 (33:09):
Uh.
Speaker 3 (33:10):
It's interesting if you watch, like just putting it out
there to our listener, watch the show now knowing that
one is a bona fide franchise guy, one isn't a
bona fide franchise guy, and the other one is literally
just fighting to keep a job in the National Football League.
Speaker 7 (33:29):
Uh.
Speaker 3 (33:30):
That puts things in perspective, believe absolutely. Yeah. Man, So
all right, that's Jeff Schwartz, I'm LeVar Arrington. We're gonna

blew our wad yesterday. It's National French fry Day today.
We were talking French fries yesterday.
Speaker 3 (36:35):
I love French fries. I had to give them up.
Man what I looked at him yesterday? So I went
and like like, I'll eat, I'll eat a meat and
I'll eat uh geeze pause?
Speaker 5 (36:47):
How do if you pause? No one immediately goes to
thinking about that. I thought, oh, man, LeVar is gonna
have a good steak today. But you went pause, and
I thought something else.
Speaker 3 (36:56):
Yeah, yeah, no, I thought it. That's why I had
But it was only like, let me tell you something, Jeff.
It was only because Lee did the whole you know
what he said before we even got into the topic.
That's what made me feel a little dirty. But anyway,
so I was eating wings yesterday, but I didn't need fries.
(37:17):
So like I had a cheap meal where I ate
fried I ate fried food. I just didn't need fries
like I haven't had. I can't even remember last time
I've had fries. It's been a while. I'm gonna make
some tonight. Yeah, I'm proud of you. I can make
some tonight.
Speaker 9 (37:34):
I can never diet right because wings and fries I they're.
Speaker 5 (37:37):
Not like terribly hard to make, but.
Speaker 3 (37:39):
No, and they're really they're not hard to make. And
if you make them the right way and put the
right amount of salt on them. Oh, man, is that
what I do?
Speaker 5 (37:48):
Sometimes I go with the ideal with the Cajun seasoning
on them.
Speaker 3 (37:52):
Oh, nothing wrong with that, my guy, Bud is good.
Speaker 5 (37:56):
Yeah, I have a new appreciation for Cajun food. I am.
I did a thing last last spring of food shows.
I don't know if it ever seen the light of day,
but we made gumbo in New Orleans for three days.
Speaker 3 (38:10):
Buddy, it was all buddy good.
Speaker 5 (38:14):
I knew appreciation for you know, Cajun creole season ends.
Speaker 3 (38:19):
Oh my god, so good. Oh we need to have
a show called fat when fat Boys talk. You know.
That's what I think, all right, and I'd be in
on that, by the way, it should be. I'm in
on it, all right. What you got, leek guys?
Speaker 9 (38:37):
Do you know the term skip lagging?
Speaker 3 (38:40):
No interesting?
Speaker 9 (38:42):
It's a traveling term for when you're looking for a
cheap ticket and you instead of you know there's gonna
be a layover, you could actually get to your destination
cheaper by going somewhere furthers. For instance, they just stopped
this teenager who was on his way from Gainesville, Florida,
to New York City. Problem is a layover in Charlotte,
North Carolina. That's actually where he wanted to go. So
(39:03):
he was not going to get on his second leg
of the flight. It's a cheaper flight for him. So
they so they banned him from from the airline. They
made him buying a whole nother ticket.
Speaker 2 (39:13):
Huh.
Speaker 3 (39:14):
But this is because he's how smart? Yeah smart loophole.
Speaker 9 (39:18):
Yeah, So you know skip lagging? Are you in or
out on skip lagging?
Speaker 5 (39:22):
In Now, I'm out. I'm booking to where I'm going.
You know, we can't afford to do that. But I
understand if you're trying to look for a deal, you're
skip lagging.
Speaker 3 (39:33):
Okay, then I'm in. I'm in for all the people
that can't afford to get to where they're trying to
go and have to skip lag. I'm in. You know what.
I'm in on you guys having a great day. Hey,
we'll talk to you tomorrow.
