Eastern time, six o'clock Pacific. So, uh, yeah, you're all good.

(01:02):
I'm good, all right, making sure about to go beat
burto down in the back room. Oh you want to
explain what happened? I mean I'll be having live reads
to do, and sometimes I get words that I can't say.
I don't have no shame in that I don't say

(01:22):
him well, and I'll jack up over for the entire
segment um break and BeRTOS back there judging me, and
I just figured out let him know how I felt
about it. In that moment. It's like a guy shooting
free throws and the fans behind the backboard are waving
their hands trying to get you to miss, like we're
supposed to be on the same team here, and everybody's

(01:45):
waving stuff like Burt too takes pleasure. And every time
I mess up, I mean, I will say I am
animated when I mess up. I mean, it's probably more
fun to experience and me messing it up than getting
it getting it correct. So unbelievable. There's a lot of
profiting language and involved with me messing up. Uh. It

(02:06):
definitely is absolutely uh So it is two pros and
a cup of Joe here on FS are lots going
on in the NFL, so let's get into Uh. Obviously,
the NBA on every my night games not tonight, so
we gotta wait another day for the for the NBA
Finals to uh to continue on as a Game three
comes up tomorrow and I but we've been talking about

(02:29):
the situation. A big contract that was handed out in
the NFL yesterday. Obviously, Aaron Donald getting paid. He's going
to be around with the L A Rams. Uh, you
know for a couple more years at least. There was also, um,
some rumblings there was a report out there that I
saw that Aaron Donald, Um, he would like to eventually

(02:51):
get closer to Pittsburgh, like would like to start at
some point moving closer to Pittsburgh and Purgh. Just you know,
que as he wants to go back home eventually. I
don't know if it's playing, but he plans on getting
back there are the community back back home. So I

(03:11):
just wonder, you know, if if we look at this
and this contract comes up in a couple of years, um,
you know, not a bad place to finish up your career,
you know, go to Pittsburgh and uh be a part
of the Steelers. What do you what do you think?
I mean, it seems like it would make some sense.
But but Aaron Donald is has gotten paid by the
L A Rams And now the conversation becomes, uh, what

(03:33):
do we make of the NFC West. Is it still
with Aaron Donald back Rams overwhelming favorite in your minds?
Or do we see a little bit of a step
back because they did need some things to go their way,
uh and and did have some things go their way
because it wasn't all peaches and cream when it came
to the L. A. Rams last year. There were some
struggles at times. Um Arizona looked like the goods, but

(03:54):
the Rams did figure it out and win a Super Bowl.
But I just wonder, um, you are we going to
see them run it back, so to speak? Or because
I kind of feel a little bit more confident in
what Tampa's bringing back, and I like Green Bay even
though they lost Davanta Adams, they still feel like at
the top of the NFC in my mind over the L. A. Rams.
I'll put it this way, like, let's just go through
the top teams in the NFC. Are that we that

(04:17):
we really feel like are the favorites or what a
super Bowl Green Bays one? We guys agree, all right? Tampa? Yes? Okay, Um,
I'd say the L A. Rams defending Super Bowl champs? Right,
That's it for me? Like I don't know that there's
any other team I feel confident about or to the
level of confidence about, besides one of those three. And

(04:38):
I think what's interesting is like every one of those
three has something, or I should say that two of
the three all have something they're dealing with that will
be you know, we'll see how the transition is. Green
Bay doesn't have you know, Aaron Rodgers doesn't have Damante Adams,
so we'll see how that impacts their offense and the
chemistry and all that. Um, you know, Bruce arians is

(05:00):
stepping away from the head coach, Todd Bowls has taken over.
I don't know if it will play a factor or not,
but maybe. Um. And then you look at the l A.
Rams now that they have Donald back, like that's the
one I'm looking at, and I feel like whatever their
odds were yesterday before it was announced, it had to
have increased or been better because of it. Because to me,

(05:21):
if he wasn't a part of this team, I would
say the NFC West is a little more up for grabs,
and even the NFC as a whole. But now with
him back, to me, they're the favorite. And it's not
it doesn't have anything to do with winning it last year.
It's just the fact when you look at what they
did this offseason and then getting Aaron Donald back, He's
that big of a difference maker. In my mind, I'd

(05:42):
put them at as the favorite right now. I mean,
personnel wise, the only team comparable to them is is
Tampa Bay. I mean that's it. Those two teams are
the only two teams comparable in terms of personnel roster wise.
So I don't think that there's any there won't be
any pushback from me thinking that they are the the favorite.
Here's what I think is a little bit strange. Um

(06:05):
just looking at the conference odds on DraftKings. Obviously Tampa
is the favorite at plus three thirty, and then you
got Green Bay in the rams at plus four fifty
tied for a second. Who would you guess is next
up on the list of teams favorite to win the NFC,
Like next Dallas or Vikings. Yeah. I don't know why

(06:26):
people get so carried away about Dallas either, but you
gotta assume that Dallas or the Vikings are the next
one that they would put in there. Who would be
your guest, Brady, next team up favored to win the
NFC after Tampa Bay, Green Bay in the Rams, well,
I mean, Arizona's in the Man of the Playoffs last year,
although it didn't look good. Um, I'd throw them into

(06:46):
the mix. Um, because you've already named what Dallas, Minnesota,
UM Philly is another one you could. You could consider
UM s fran It's it's San Fran, Um and San
France and UM. And I agree, I don't and I
know there's respect for Kyle Shanahan. But we have no

(07:06):
idea what Trey Lances. We have no clue. So the
fact that they're favored at a you know, more so
than say a Dallas or a Philly, or in Arizona
or even in Minnesota. I just I even look, I
I feel more confident in in the Saints and Jamis
Winston than I do the Niners and Trey Lance and
and the Saints are way down the list at one

(07:28):
to win the NFC. I just I don't know, man,
Maybe I'm just skeptical. Discussion points about what you just
said about San Francisco. With the rest of the teams
that you named as being contenders, I don't know enough
about Arizona yet to know if they can win a
Super Bowl I don't know enough, Like there's not enough

(07:50):
knowns about Arizona right now that they can get past
or beyond what they've done thus far. Are you more
confident in Tray Lance or Kyler Murray Gonna Kyler Murray
has done more I have. I have answers, you know,
to that that can Kyler Murray be be significant enough
for them to have wins and and win? But how

(08:14):
far can they go? I mean, I've heard them refer to,
you know, on on the weekend show as fools gold
you know, and and then when you look at you
look at the other teams that you named. I mean,
I would say I don't have enough questions answered about
Minnesota to feel confident and saying that they should be

(08:34):
considered a contender on the odds with the odd odds makers.
I don't. I don't know about Philadelphia. There's too many
questions that surround the quarterbacks position there and what they
may or may not be able to do. I just
I don't know. I think that the teams that answer
and check off the boxes are the Rams and the

(08:54):
Tampa Bay Buccaneers. They check off the boxes the rest
of them, that's a coin flip. I mean, if you
ask me, who do you guys think is the biggest
long shot to win the NFC right now? Sexual you
think Carolina Brady, who's your pick? Has to be there
somewhere right it's Atlanta, the longest shot. The longest shot

(09:15):
Atlanta according to Drafting, no belief, no, no believe whatsoever.
Darnald gets more more love, Justin Fields gets more love
than Marcus Mariota. I think Atlanta is going to be
better in Chicago, Like I don't. I don't know, man,
I just you know there there's some some interesting things

(09:38):
point being the NFC seems really top heavy, and and
after that, it's kind of, you know, pick one out
of the hat to be the fourth best team in
the NFC next year, which means there's gonna be some
bad teams that are making the playoffs in the NFC
next year. So I hope. I don't think some of
these teams that people think are going to be good

(09:59):
are going to be as good as people think. And
I don't think some of the teams that may not
looked as though they're going to be as good will
be better than what people are assuming. Like it always
happens that way. Anyway a lot of times. But I
do think that this year there are a few teams
like I throw New Orleans out there, I'm not I'm
not backing down on that statement. I think New Orleans

(10:22):
is going to be a better team than what people
are are are thinking. I could see that. I mean,
think about what Jamis has done. He's led the league
in passing, He's thrown for over thirty touchdowns. Everyone just
you know, looks back the fact that, yeah, he throws
a lot of picks. Okay, it seems like last year
kind of figured it out. And you get Michael Thomas
coming back, they add Jarvis Landry, you draft oh Lave,

(10:45):
it's do I mean, they're gonna put up some points.
That's not even including who they got in the backfield
with Kimara, and their old line is good. They have
a good defense. Like that's a team that I think
it does fall on the shoulders of Jamis. But if
if he could just cut down the interceptions and be
anything close to on a seventeen game schedule what we
saw last year, Yeah, like I would put the Saints

(11:07):
in over the Philadelphia Eagles. You know, I might say,
like they'll have you know, Obviously, the NFC East is
the NFC East, so I got Dallas winning that. But
I can easily see the Saints in a player. I
don't think Dallas is going to be as good as
people think they are going to be. I really don't.
I don't know. Here's the thing, he's gonna LaVar. We
need them to be good though. For Jerry Ry, he

(11:30):
keeps the news cycle going. Jonas does a great Jerry
Jones impression. Let's hear it. Good job, don't hear that stuff?
Remember somehose cowboys. Jerry, appreciate it. You are really good
at that. I mean, that's better than your carry. I
won't make some glory. Oh wow, Jonas think that's my

(11:52):
best one. Some glory. Don't even like I didn't even
have the reference, Like what is the uh even what's
going on when he decided to make that make that
quote there? But yeah, you know, Jerry Jones, this is
this is a big year. I don't think they're going
to be that good. Why don't hate is this because
you played for Washington and the Giants. I'm just being

(12:14):
just just being analytical in terms of how I'm looking
at what's going to play out. I do not think
Ezekiel Elliott is the player that he was. I know
he's got stats to to say that otherwise, I just
don't think he's the same player. UM. I don't think
that their offensive line is that good. I really don't.

(12:35):
And and honestly speaking, I don't know how good. Um.
I don't know how good Dak Prescott will be with
the loss of Amari Cooper. I don't know how good
that receiving corps will be without Amari Cooper. I don't
know how good this offense will be. The biggest question
mark now for me for Dallas Cowboys becomes is their

(12:59):
offense so much of a liability to this, to this
this group where it will hold them back from having
a good season. Because I think their defense will take
another step forward. I really do, even losing Randy Gregory,
I think that this defense will take another step forward.
I think they'll be really they'll be good. But I
do not believe that their offense is going to be

(13:20):
as good or as explosive or whatever it is people
are assuming they're gonna be. I do not think that
that's the type of offense that they have in Dallas.
So you think Mike McCarthy is gonna get fired after
this season. I don't know that he gets fired after
this season. I just don't think that they have the
type of year that people think that they're going to have.
I would not be surprised if they finished third in
the NFC East, really third, I would be I was

(13:43):
getting fired. Well maybe probably if their offense is the
liability Mike McCarthy's. Their offense is going to be a liability.
And there's a strong possibility that this division will come
down between Philly in Washington. I do think Washingtons man

(14:04):
be better, and people give him credit. Yeah, I mean, look,
they got a quarterback now, I mean they got they
got their guy, Carson wants. I mean, I don't know
about all of that, but it is the NFC East,
and he is familiar with the NFC East and and
and listen, this is that now Riverboat Ron is getting

(14:25):
through all of like the off field confusion and and
is pulling a team together, Like the culture change that's
taking place there. You saw you saw some of of
it taking place last season. You saw a change in
that team taking place last season, like they look different now.
I just want to go back and I want to
make sure I hear what you're saying. The Dallas Cowboys

(14:48):
are finishing through the NFC. I'm saying there's a strong
possible you make the statement. Here's the bull, the bull,
the bull prediction you want to draw all. I mean,
they're I think they're going to fight it out for
second or third. And we have a live studio band on,
hold on, hold on. The Dallas Cowboys are not making

(15:12):
not making the playoffs, Okay, I I yeah, I got
some odds on that. I've got some odds on that.
Hold on here, remember some most Cowboys. Thank you Jerry
by the way, live from our affiliate and Jalisco Jerry
Jones joining us here. Yeah. So the Dallas Cowboys little

(15:35):
WiFi here, Uh, the Dallas Cowboys to make the playoffs?
Still can't find it? We've got this is a good
radio here. All right, here we go. I got I
got it all right. So Dallas to make the playoffs
is a minus two fifties. So what does that mean?
Overwhelming over you got you gotta bet so no to

(15:57):
not make the playoffs, They're not going to make the
play plus take your take that if if that's if
that makes sense in betting terms. I don't think they're
going to make the playoffs. About that. I think they're
gonna fight. I think they're gonna fight for third. And
if they're fighting for third, then the second team is

(16:18):
the wild card team, correct, I mean there could be
a third team that's a wild card team in the
NFC East. If they finished third in the NFC East,
then make they're not making the playoffs. That's what I
would assume. I don't think they're gonna be what what
was their record this year? I don't. I think they
take a step back this year. I mean they hosted
a playoff game. They do. Think they take a step
back this year. I think that Philly. I think that

(16:40):
to me, Philly is the front runner to win the
division just based off of their acquisitions and what they
could be. They were twelve and five. They will not
be twelve and five this year. They will not be
twelve and five. I mean Tampa and Cincinnati to open
up the season. I'm just telling you, I do not
I do not see them being I just don't see it.

(17:03):
I don't think they're going to be as good as
people think that. By the way, didn't didn't Dallas and
Tampa open up the season last year. What lazy scheduling
is this? So we're just gonna run that back back
to back years? What is that? Yeah, but I mean
come on, mix it up a little bit here. That
said he would see him again in the playoffs. Yeah,
well he didn't. He tried, he tried, he came close

(17:24):
and me he made it to the playoffs and ran
out of time with that that excellent play call and
Tampa Bay ran out of time pretty quick this year too, though.
His two pros and a cup of Joe here on
Fox Sports Radio. So there it is cowboy fans um
you know, following line with Drew Brees fans is going, well,
there you go get outrage. I think that. I think
the Dallas Cowboys are going to be there. They're going

(17:46):
to be a let down to a lot. I mean
they are anyway every year, but they're gonna be more
more so this year. Plus one offense is the liability
getting paid. So coming up next, we do have we
do have an update on a couple of quarterbacks situations
in the NFL. We're gonna have it for you right
here on f S. Are be sure to catch live

(18:06):
editions of two pros and a cup of Joe with
Brady Quinn, LaVar Arrington and Jonas Knocks week days at
six am EA sting three am Pacific on Fox Sports
Radio and the I Heart Radio. Let's go, Let's go,
let's go, Let's go. I'm still trying to find a

(18:27):
sample to this this no song. No, it's just bothering me.
Who I saw a bear that big? There's a bear
on news. I see bears that big walking on my
street all the time. Uh, two pros and a cup
of joe. By the way, you could take a bear?
Could you take a bear if I had to? That's
what I'm wondering, Like, how would you go about attacking

(18:49):
the bear? I'm saying you don't have like bear spray
of nothing, but you have to take on a bear. Yeah,
that's a great question. I've often asked myself that question
if I found myself in a final encounter with a bear.
You notice I said final encounter right, Well, if you
want to beat a bear distress as a packer, I mean,

(19:12):
that was good, that was good. It was good. I
gotta give you credit. I don't think I give Jonas
ever enough credit. That was his all time that I
gotta admit that was the moment. It was really good.
That was where Aaron Rodgers right. I don't want to
I don't want to get carried away with it because

(19:33):
Jonas doesn't know how to handle praise. I praise, but
he doesn't. But I think that that was that was
that that may have been his greatest ever in the
history of two prosody. That was about done. I'm kind
of jealous that I didn't have that. But you really
think you'd take a bear? No? Hell no, no, no,

(19:56):
I mean, I mean, I don't even know what I'd do.
That's the hard thing is if I had to, I
just feel as though I would try to get as
big as I possibly could in order to Yeah, you
gotta try to get it well. You know, I'm saying
at this point, you're just sophistic. We're already we're already
locked in. Yeah, You're you're like, you gotta do something.

(20:17):
I'm gonna just be honest with you. I'm gonna go
animalistic and and and my loss leg kicks dude, no,
no calf kicks, no, bro, Like I'm gonna lose my
teeth trying to bite like I'm a bite and I'm
a gouch. But could you choke out a bear? It's
hard to get on his back right, that neck is
so strong. You wouldn't be able to choke him out.
Your best bet would be to damage his nose or

(20:40):
his eyes. That would be your best bet. It's a
great point. Yeah, if you if you catch him, well
you got it. Or poke it in the eye and
and it it a jolted. I love what people say
that kind of something to myself. You're not going to
you'd crap yourself. You're not gonna be able to do it.
You would be crapping yourself in the ocean. You watched

(21:00):
the Great White approach. I'm going to get to the
eye and poke it and out you're gonna be drowning
on water. Like whoa, just punch in the nose, right
and that that's like saying a you know, get your
watch out of a blender while it's on, like and
it just doesn't make any sense. Jacques Coustill. I appreciate

(21:21):
the advice. I'm gonna go ahead and just swim the
other way. If i feel like I'm about to lose
my life anyway, I'm going out. I'm going out in
a blaze. Of glory, though, they're gonna be like that
dude really was trying to fight a bear. I mean,
he might be the dumbest dude I've ever seen in
my entire life. Um, try to fight a beer. But
I mean you'd say I tried to fight him if

(21:43):
I could, if I had no other recourse. Aaron Donald
versus a bear, I might pick Aaron Donald. I mean,
there's a possibility that the handwork of Aaron Donald would
outdo the paul work of the bear bear. Yeah, and
just and the punch like me actually might get a
punch in on the bear that stuns him as like,

(22:03):
oh yeah, I'm not messing with this dude. Well, you
gotta think one person pushing and punching on you might
not equal the strength of a bear, but two or
three people equal the strength of a bear. So he
probably would absorb the blow of that bear and and

(22:24):
dish out his own like ripping and and you know,
get out of there were clubbing rip you know, I
don't know, by the way, anybody listening to this, Uh,
screw you. Okay, tell the NBA to play a game
every other day, all right, so we don't have to
have these conversations, Like I think we will still be
having these conversations because I mean we're bros. Like we're bros,

(22:46):
and we have conversations. And that's the premise of our
show is to give you educated sports talk. But but
be people. Were people, all right, locked in an octagon
with a bear? Did we see this in semipro? Could you?
Could you if we set the over under, set the
over under two minutes? Could you go over too minutes?

(23:08):
Make two minutes? I think so? Yeah, do you have
the ability to like grab some honey or like a
jar of peanut butter a throat on? Yeah, I mean
that bear head it was like irritable and hungry and
stuff like that. It might not be two minutes, it
might not be two minutes. Well, it's locked in a cage.

(23:29):
I'm assuming, uh probably annoyed it that. I wonder how
annoyed Peter, people who listen to our show are right now, Like,
why are you talking about harming an innocent bear? What
about me? What about if I were to get harmed
and you forget about the people, Peter? Yeah, you know,
just just go go get a ribby and relax. All right,

(23:52):
everything's gonna be Okay, we're just having conference that far. Okay,
I didn't go that far. One. You gotta you gotta problem,
you gotta problem with me, Eddie on Fox. That's where
you can find your with some flour on your face
when you leave the building. Somebody's going to do with

(24:16):
and you remember that. Yeah, that's right. Yeah at the airport. Yeah,
well who knows. All right, it is two pros and
a cup of joe here he comprehended that a little
bit further, like it's kind of funny. That's too, by
the way, that's that's too. Yeah, I don't even know

(24:36):
if you did it. Texting and rolls you into recurring
automated marketing text messages. Consent are required to purchase messaging
data rates may apply. Guys, you can now get a
complimentary bottle of New Genics Total Tee, the number one
selling free testosterone booster branded g NC text two pros
to two three one two three one. Before we hear
from Eddie Garcia, um so Kyler Murray, uh so he
was showing up to these to these mini camps and

(24:59):
what's the latest? Now he's not. And then we've also
got a Jimmy Garoppolo who has been excused as they
continue to he tried, it continues to heal from his
shoulder surgery. Uh, and they continue to try and find
a trade partner. I mean, if this, the Shaun Watson
thing goes the way that it could potentially go, is
Jimmy Garoppolo a possibility in Cleveland? I mean, or do

(25:21):
they look at it and go, look, I mean, we've
got Baker Mayfield. Do we really want to make a
move for Jimmy g And we've got Baker Mayfield here, Like,
I just I wonder if San Francisco's watching the situation
in Cleveland going, if this goes down that road, maybe
that's another team that becomes a possibility if we are
dead set wanting to get something to return for Jimmy Garoppolo.

(25:43):
I wonder if that. I wonder if that's a possibility
there for the for these Cleveland Browns uh in San
Francisco forty Niners to pull off a trade like that.
I don't know. I'm just I'm just thinking out loud,
I know. I just I'm failing to see where where
it makes sense. So you're gonna bring on a guy
for a short term period of time because he doesn't

(26:03):
have the the issues that Baker Mayfield may have with
the organization, but he's gonna make more than Baker, and
you still owe Baker on top of that, right, and
you're still paying the guy that's not even playing because
in this hypothetical scenario, he's suspended and you're still probably

(26:24):
paying him. We haven't seen the contract details, so we
don't necessarily know if any of those guarantees are avoided,
but we're working on the assumption that the Browns do
what they're getting themselves into. And Deshaun Watson and his
agent decided to say, hey, you can't, you know, avoid
any of these guarantees because you know this is part
of the issue that's happening, right, So uh yeah, that

(26:46):
makes complete sets like, Hey, we spent two or thirty
million on de Shaun Watson, why not go ahead and
pay Baker Mayfield his eighteen point eight or nine? And
why not pay I mean, I guess in this scenario
the forty niners are probably taking a portion of Mayfield's
contract off their hands. Um, but I don't. I wasn't
even saying trading for Baker Mayfield. I was saying, well,

(27:08):
I guess that would probably make more sense doing it
that way. But you know, hey, look, uh, San Francisco
is the greatest comments you've ever had in radio history
and then totally destroyed. Yeah, I had I had one,
I could use, I I could waste one. So I
just wasted it. All right, So now we're getting it,
we're back to even um now on the what do

(27:31):
you what do you mean? All right? Man? You should
have just wrote the hot at least for one segment.
Didn't even deleted from the podcast. You were like, you
just totally ruined it. Man, little post production clean up,
nothing wrong with that. So Kyler Murray, So, Kyler Murray
shows up and then he knows shows So we're thinking

(27:54):
that this is a bad situation there. So now apparently
there's not a deal that timidate with that Kyler Murray.
As is a panic time there in Arizona with the
Cardinals and Kyler Murray or what what do we think
of say, like, hey, we knew he was not gonna
be here the full time. It's in. You know, he's excused.
It's not mandatory, right, it's voluntary. Um, And so when

(28:15):
do you think, uh, you start to worry about them
getting a contract done for Kyler Murray because Steve Time
has been confident this whole time this is going to happen.
If he misses the Mana Story Mini Mini camp because
he's under contract, he'd be subject to fines. So that's
the first step of oh, things aren't going well now.
They could always come back and forgive those fines because

(28:36):
they work out a long term deal or just to
make him happy. But that's the first step. Uh, and
that should be coming up here shortly if I'm not mistaken.
So that's uh, that's step one, and then after that
it it. You know. I think they'll get something probably
done before training camp, or at least they'll be an offer,
I should say before training camp. It's two pros and
a cup of Joe. Here. Fox Sport Trading almost knocked

(28:58):
my mic off. Can ask this question quick before you
you throw. I mean, we talked about like what the
guaranteed number needs to be in this contract. I feel
like it used to be a little a little easier
to answer the question, well, oh, well, how much is
in total guarantees are in or how much you know
guarantee its signing. If someone throws you a contract that

(29:19):
has a hundred and fifty million and guaranteed money. I
know it's not Deshaun Watson's deal, but aren't you kind
of saying yourself like I better go ahead and take this? Yeah, Like,
come on, man, I mean that's a lot of money.
I mean, Dustin Johnson is going to the Saudi Back
Golf League for a nine figure deal. I don't know
how long that thing is, but it's like, that's a

(29:39):
lot of money. Like I just in the end, all
you're doing is getting your clubs out and and hitting
a ball towards a hole. Right in the end, all
you're doing is taking equipment out of your locker, putting
it on and going out and playing a child's game.
I mean, honestly, if you got a hundred and fifty
million guaranteed on the table and you want another hun

(30:00):
your million on top of that, and I mean, you know,
I don't want to tell you how to handle your business,
but if if I'm feeling like that hundred fifty guarantee
right now today is solid. Yeah. But here, here's why
I bring this up because I think everyone talks about
the well the Cardinals have to be careful like the
Baker Mayfield impact with what happened in Cleveland. I would

(30:22):
also say, well, doesn't Kyler Murray have to look at
that from Baker's perspective and go, I wonder if Baker
wishes you would have taken the deal he was offered
after year three, because you know, I mean, that's the
other perspective of this is if they offer him a
deal where he's getting a hundred fifth year, let's say
it's twitter million guarantees. Okay, aren't you sit there saying yourself,
what's the point of me playing another year where I

(30:43):
could find myself in Baker Mayfield situation, Like maybe what
they're offering me is good enough for the next two
three years, And if I play the way I think
I'm going to, I'll be re upping anyway by the
end of this deal for another big money contract. Yeah,
I just think and what it was, I think they
were ports where that Mayfield and then we're talking like
over thirty million a year he was gonna get. Um. Yeah,

(31:06):
it didn't work out well for either side, But you know,
it's that that whole So but what does it Calamarie
or every other quarterback look at that and should take
I understood the content I'm glad we we reframed it
so that it's even clear I understood the clarity of it.
You're correct if you're saying, better on yourself, play another

(31:28):
year because I might be able to get that extra
hundred million that's that's close to or where Deshaun Watson is,
versus taking the hundred and fifty that I have right
here in front of me right now, and I give
myself more runway to get to another contract that maybe
bigger and larger than the one that Deshaun Watson has
right now, but it's to three years down the road.

(31:51):
You one exercise wisdom and take that gosh darn deal,
which there is, I mean, which is what makes that
don't want to say down darn darn. The money's gotten
so big, and it feels like it's happened in the
past like five or six years, where you're talking about
such substantial dollars that I just don't know if it's

(32:13):
worth the risk of going out and playing another year
when again, if everything goes well, you're gonna be Let's
say he signs a three year extension onto the two
years he's already got left on his contract, right, I
mean you're gonna be re upping again to three years
from now. Like that's typically how this whole process works.
Like you're doing right now, right. You did it in

(32:36):
two to three. Some do it three to four. But yes,
that's that's typically how it works. It's uh, Two Pros

find it, but yeah it was good. Recall man, thank you.
Isn't what was it? A wild in a goatta data vita,

(34:04):
that's the name of it. I think wild Horses is
the name of the common and a lot of movies
with the guy um you know hid never mind, he
just does a little hide and go. You know what
I mean? What Buffalo Bill, Goodbye Horses, good Bye Horde,
wild same difference, I mean, wild horses, good Bye Horses.
I mean tell you, I'm sure they all have the

(34:26):
same agenda. Yeah, they can all use Newgenics texting into

get a complimentary bottle of Newgenics Total Tee, the number
one selling free testosterone booster Brandon g NS. Text two
pros to two three one two three one. Let's go

(34:49):
to the news taps. What news, here's Brady Quinnah. So
I always love these like kind of human interest like
love story type thing ing. So um, well, let's put
it this way. A woman was left She was left
mortified after her boyfriend proposed to her using a ring
that he claimed was a family heirloom but really was

(35:13):
just a joke ring with no significance at all. Oh wow,
joke ring. Man, You don't can't feel too special from that? No, no,
But is it such a bad move though, if maybe
you're a little short on cash and you're trying to
come up with the reason why the rings that as
nice as they maybe one, so maybe you play the
family heirloom card and you just kind of find a

(35:34):
basic ring. Yeah, what's wrong with that? In theory, if
you're going as far as getting married, that means you
love her and she loves you, So just be real
about it. I didn't have a whole lot of cash.
This is what I could afford, but I couldn't wait
to be your man. We're like, do you guys take
the price tags off gifts when you give them to people? Yeah,

(35:57):
you're supposed to the problem is I usually give a
gift receiving so that way they can kind of still
see it or take it back. Yeah, I I don't.
I just leave it on. And then and my wife
gets piste and she's like, no, take it off, And
I was like no, no, no no, Like I'm gonna leave
it on because if they complain about how much we
spent on them, it just goes to show you they're
a cheap ass. Like that's what that's how I you know,

(36:20):
separate you know the decent people. That comes back to
the original point graciousness, and in those moments is the
fact that you actually took the time to get them
a gift. It doesn't matter how much time. It's not
about the amount of time you put into it. It's
about you being gracious enough to know that somebody put
in some time to do something for you that that

(36:42):
was nice. Yeah, that's a humble Yeah. The people anyway,
I kind of feel bad for this guy, right because
it's like, you know, some of us can't always buy
the engagement ring that are significant other is asking for
this case. You know, sometimes you gotta you gotta figure
it out. You know, he's trying to hold ontour, so
he's trying to give her what she wants, but she

(37:03):
the fiance did eventually find out that it was not
a family heir loom, which created some up you know,
keep keep better secrets, you know, learn to lie better. Alright,
I picked something better to lie about. That's a that's
a good point. Remember, maybe just a better lie. Um,

(37:24):
how about this one. Do you guys have a good
relationship with your in laws? Yeah? Yeah, yeah, yeah for
the most Um. So, this particular woman, she adopted a
dog with the same name as her mother in law
purely because she knew her mother in law would not
like it. Dog's names Tracy. So apparently, uh, this woman's

(37:47):
mother in law Tracy is not I guess she'd be
offended by the fact that she's got a dog with
the same name. If you name it, if you name
an animal after somebody, really, you know, it's funny in
the context. Someone literally told me they named their dog
after me this past weekend, and I always I my
my like out of the back of my pocket every time,
responses is that a compliment? Because I honestly don't know

(38:11):
if that's a compliment. I think it is for some people.
It is for some people. In context, if somebody really
admires you, you're a hero to them, they'll name their
dog after you. Like, yes, I've named doesn't matter people,
It doesn't matter the type of animal, Like let's say
it's a pig. Let's say it's a or hamster. Jonas

(38:31):
used to have those, Yeah I did. If I named
my Gerbil, I didn't see him with the que and Jonas,
I don't. I don't know. I don't think that that's
a compliment. So if someone came up and then a
snake and they're like, oh, my snakes name is LaVar,
would be like, even if you thought it was honoring me,
some people think snakes are like bad. Have an alligator,

(38:52):
like a small little alligator. I might be okay with
an alligator, but just the condrontations of of of a snake,
don't I wouldn't like what about a kimono dragon? Will
be all right with that? Or you named like one
of those pigs you ever see people who have got
this pig. It would have to be a hog, not
a pig. There, I played for the kins. I'm just saying.
