We were not on last week as we were traveling

Speaker 4 (02:01):
Oh no, and so Lee, how mad is he?

Speaker 1 (02:07):
I don't know if he was upset. He's just like
hitting Lee up like, hey, am I on today. Lee's like,
oh no, you just completely forgot to reach out to Petros.
And Petros woke up, took his sleep apnea mask off
at five point fifteen in the morning, only to find
out he could have slept in and who knows what
happened after that.

Speaker 5 (02:25):
It's Petros.

Speaker 1 (02:27):
So we just hope, hope he's gonna be all right,
because he's gonna have some thoughts.

Speaker 5 (02:30):
I'm sure.

Speaker 1 (02:31):
On Kelly Stafford talking about Matt Stafford's issue with his teammates.

Speaker 6 (02:36):
I'm criorious to hear what ces take on. It is honest.

Speaker 7 (02:40):
It was crazy.

Speaker 1 (02:42):
It was crazy.

Speaker 5 (02:44):
It was crazy.

Speaker 1 (02:46):
I mean, Brady, listen, he can't he's having a hard
time relating to younger teammates.

Speaker 4 (02:52):
Well, let me just first say this, that is a
real thing, Okay, Like we're gonna make fun of it,
Like I'm not gonna make fun of it. Like I
remember like heading into year aid in to training camp
and what he what his wife talked about was real.
Like you walk in the locker room and the dudes
just be like have their face planning their phone and

(03:13):
you're like all right, I'm just gonna go on with
my my day, Like I'm gonna just go into the
film room.

Speaker 8 (03:20):
Grab some food whatever. Like guys used to chop it up.

Speaker 4 (03:23):
Guys used to like, you know, sometimes be playing cards
like different things.

Speaker 8 (03:27):
You know, Hey man, let's go get some need let's
go play some cards, let's go watch like it was
just different.

Speaker 4 (03:33):
And kids nowadays they're just kind of isolated and it's
not like there's any walls or boundaries around them. They
just kind of put them up, or at least they
use their phone to create them. So I think you
ask any older player, they'll tell you, like, that's a
real thing, is trying to be relatable to your teammates,
and it's just not something that you want to become

(03:56):
public if it's not.

Speaker 8 (03:57):
Coming out of your mouth like you.

Speaker 6 (04:00):
I was hoping and praying I heard you say this
before you finish your explanation.

Speaker 4 (04:05):
I just like all that being said, like that is
just not for your wife to say, It's not for
your girlfriend to say. It's not for your mama to say,
or your sister to say.

Speaker 6 (04:15):
These are things that like every time I see Stafford now,
like like five oh out, Mike.

Speaker 8 (04:23):
Is on Mike is hot.

Speaker 5 (04:25):
Mike is hot, Pillow.

Speaker 8 (04:27):
You might be talking like he come walking around.

Speaker 4 (04:33):
He's made enough for he might not care though he's
made so much money. I mean here she said it,
so they clearly don't care. That's but that's what I'm saying.
It's like I don't know that like they care, she's
they've they've made so much.

Speaker 1 (04:47):
Yeah, do you think that he was upset on relating
going Do you think he was upset that she talked
about it or he maybe sent her to do it
in passive aggressively.

Speaker 6 (04:58):
I would hope that he he Hey, I hope it
was disappointed in that.

Speaker 8 (05:02):
I'm sure he was upset. I'm sure he was.

Speaker 4 (05:05):
Like my wife got upset with me because I like,
unknowingly apparently like broke news about women's gymnastics in regards
to Simone Biles, and it was like I didn't know anything,
like my girls and I like, obviously they're a big
gymnastics fan. For my wife, they happened to be looking
at Simone biles Instagram page where she was, you know,

(05:26):
putting stuff out there, and so like I had said
something like, hey, she's you know, she's back all stuff
and I'm like, it wasn't like I thought she was
like coming back. I didn't know she ever really retired.
Like I didn't know she was like done because we
saw her training and stuff. I was like, all right,
I can't wait for to you know, be back out there. Yeah,
you're wrong, Well that was the thing is apparently apparently

(05:48):
that that wasn't that. Like again, I didn't know the
gymnastics news, and so unfortunately people like try to.

Speaker 8 (05:55):
Connect the dots, like, oh, you know, his wife must
have told himself.

Speaker 4 (05:58):
I was like no, Like it was just literally a
moment where like I just kind of said it when
we were talking about a different topic and not thinking
of anything of it, and then she was like all
mad at me. I was like, hold on a second. Yeah,
I was like, why was I expected to know whether
or not she had officially retired or not and then
decided to like I didn't know.

Speaker 8 (06:18):
It wasn't like anything like that.

Speaker 2 (06:19):
It was.

Speaker 8 (06:20):
It was an honest mess. We were excited about it.

Speaker 6 (06:21):
We're huge fans, but that still isn't as that's not
as egregious like yet, that's that's that's managing.

Speaker 8 (06:29):
Well, I'm just trying to see like the side of things.

Speaker 6 (06:32):
Imagine, but imagine if you were saying something to the
effect of, man, I tell you what, my wife is
finding it hard to relate to how these these you know,
these guys are stretching out the gymnast pre workouts right
through here, man. And it's not really like going the
way that she had anticipated it, the way that it

(06:54):
had been did in years them, years past.

Speaker 8 (06:57):
Like if you hit it with something.

Speaker 6 (06:58):
Like that, now have you been with something like that?
And your wife was like, hold on, bro, like why
are you coming out in public talking about me talking
about how I'm getting stretched out to get onto the mat?

Speaker 8 (07:13):
Like now you're in trouble. You're in trouble. We're off
of this your intro analogy because you're going to.

Speaker 6 (07:21):
Get in trouble, that's why. And I just wanted to
make it so that you felt uncomfortable, so that you
could feel the sting of all those phone committed rookies
and young guys that don't have social life in the.

Speaker 8 (07:36):
In the locker room that can exposed me like that.

Speaker 4 (07:40):
Like there's a there's a difference obviously in communication between
men and women that purely exist like this, Like men
like as much as.

Speaker 8 (07:48):
Women need like their girls on all this stuff.

Speaker 4 (07:50):
Men need their guide time, and it's a lot different
like when dudes hang out like they're bros and and
a lot of oftentimes we come off as pretty immature.
That's probably accurate, Nah, But all I'm saying is is
like it's needed there, Like it is needed for our
own mental health. Yes, to brow it out sometimes and
just to have a good time to be stupid or

(08:10):
whatever else obviously not hurting anyone or putting anyone in
harm's way. But you know what I'm saying, Like you like,
we all need that like camaraderie, We need that like
locker room feel, but our feel for what that is
and how we communicate and what stays between us and
our tribe or in our group is different. Like women,
women like they'll have their own deal, but I think

(08:31):
it's a little more chatty, like they'll be coming out
from like some sort of you know, happy hour and
next thing, you know, like they're blabbing about so and
so and so and so and they're issues and all
this stuff, like that's part of their deal.

Speaker 8 (08:42):
Like they communicate pretty.

Speaker 4 (08:44):
Much about everything, Like there's there's no real little secrets
where they keep from people, and so like I'm I'm
always like, well, that's a one way street.

Speaker 8 (08:51):
Like when dudes are talking about stuff like.

Speaker 4 (08:53):
That, we don't share it, Like we're like, oh no,
that's that's sacred, that's the locker room, like we don't.

Speaker 8 (08:57):
We don't let that stuff get out.

Speaker 4 (08:59):
But like a lot of times women will talk about it,
and it's like it ends up getting out. It ends
up like getting out to their friends or getting out
to their husbands.

Speaker 8 (09:05):
Or whatever else.

Speaker 6 (09:06):
Badge to honor to give things away, like oh my gosh,
look at your shirt. That's an amazing shirt Target five dollars, girl, Like.

Speaker 8 (09:15):
What what for that? Huh?

Speaker 6 (09:18):
Like I was like, QueQue, that's a dope ad shirt
you got on there? You know what you're going to say?

Speaker 8 (09:23):
Thanks? Bro? Yeah, that's it.

Speaker 5 (09:26):
That's it.

Speaker 8 (09:27):
In the conversation, like why am I telling you girl?

Speaker 6 (09:31):
I went to Marshalls three dollars yep, rock stress Stress
for less, go find it two dollars. You see these
shoes ten dollars? I know, I know, girl, Like I know, like,
what wtf for y'all talking about?

Speaker 4 (09:49):
That's where I feel like this thing got off the
rails is like she was sharing something that she thought
like was okay.

Speaker 5 (09:56):
It was crazy, thank you.

Speaker 4 (09:58):
No, that's not okay, like that is that is not
something to share now?

Speaker 1 (10:04):
Is that in reference to Matt Stafford in the locker
room or them shoving that camera woman off the stage.

Speaker 8 (10:10):
Which they did not shove her off?

Speaker 1 (10:13):
Sorry about that? Stop saying all right, sorry about that.

Speaker 8 (10:16):
But she failed, yeah, very far. There might not have
been any help, but she she fell.

Speaker 1 (10:22):
Yeah, I mean Stafford. Oh no, oh no, man, I
know they were miked up. No, no, I had no
idea that was actually that was actually Lee falling into
a fire at the lake.

Speaker 8 (10:38):
Who does Sam get these drops?

Speaker 4 (10:39):
And he's gonna like at the tip of his finger too.

Speaker 2 (10:41):
And.

Speaker 7 (10:44):
I'm putting the drops together for years.

Speaker 1 (10:47):
Guys, you have to understand something if you want to
know what iowa Sam was like. And I'm not making
this up. He has a bag with him and in
that bag are his fake crap and whoopee cushions and
that's a lie.

Speaker 7 (11:01):
Actually, just change backpack, so I don't have those with me,
but usually yes I do.

Speaker 8 (11:04):
Yeah, wow, that's interesting.

Speaker 1 (11:06):
Ring buzzers.

Speaker 7 (11:07):
Mister April fools over here.

Speaker 4 (11:08):
Can I ask you this, because you've got these drops
like ready to go? What is your first?

Speaker 8 (11:12):
Like? What's your number? One?

Speaker 4 (11:13):
Jonas Knox Strap Just no, just play it. I don't
want you to think about it. Just type whatever it
is and you do and play it right now?

Speaker 8 (11:21):
Jonas, Son of a Bitch?

Speaker 7 (11:27):
Close Jonas's Saturday show with that every every Saturday.

Speaker 6 (11:36):
Doesn't board tabs though, Jonas son of a bitch.

Speaker 5 (11:43):
So listen.

Speaker 7 (11:44):
If Jonas is doing a bunch of reads, we also
have this one.

Speaker 8 (11:46):
Jonas went out and.

Speaker 1 (11:47):
Got himself some corporate sponsors, right?

Speaker 8 (11:53):
What about for Brady though? What about for c.

Speaker 5 (11:56):
I don't have a ton of.

Speaker 1 (11:58):
Yes, come on now, I'm done.

Speaker 8 (12:02):
You are rescuing Jonas.

Speaker 4 (12:04):
He plays like Sam and I haven't worked together that
often until recently?

Speaker 8 (12:09):
What about me? What about me? Sam? Get loose?

Speaker 5 (12:16):
What about?

Speaker 1 (12:17):
What about Eddie Garcia? What about Eddie Garcia? What do
you have for Eddie Garcia?

Speaker 8 (12:22):
Here?

Speaker 1 (12:24):
I think I know what it is.

Speaker 5 (12:27):
Don't give up, Eddie.

Speaker 1 (12:33):
That's so insulting. Farted in your face yesterday?

Speaker 8 (12:38):
Man, I didn't purpose.

Speaker 5 (12:40):
It wasn't in my face. I just happened to walk.

Speaker 8 (12:44):
Into ended up being in his face. Eddie? How bad
was it?

Speaker 3 (12:49):
You know?

Speaker 8 (12:50):
What I've had worse.

Speaker 7 (12:51):
I have another and I played this one real quick.

Speaker 8 (12:54):
I don't care. I'm leaving goodbye.

Speaker 7 (12:56):
I just love that.

Speaker 8 (12:58):
That's very Eddie too, That's very Eddie.

Speaker 1 (13:02):
Sam's got some good drops.

Speaker 8 (13:03):
Hold on now, I.

Speaker 4 (13:04):
Want to hear Eddie's opinion on this though, with the
whole Stafford situation.

Speaker 1 (13:08):
Yeah, come on, Eddie, you want to know my Stafford situation.

Speaker 8 (13:13):
You're in the room now, man.

Speaker 9 (13:14):
I mean, he knows his wife, he's got a podcast.
This isn't like news, and he knows she likes to talk.
So you should have known.

Speaker 1 (13:25):
Better passive aggressive way of getting it out there because
he wasn't uncomfortable talking to that.

Speaker 8 (13:31):
Jonas would do that. That's show us with one hundred
percent something and not pay his ten dollars.

Speaker 1 (13:36):
Fine, that's not truly because there is no ten dollars fine,
because I'm not passive aggressive. Oh my god. And I've
told listen, and I've told you, I believe that it
should be eleven dollars because I'm a big fan of
the number eleven.

Speaker 6 (13:49):
Now, what do you mean you just like racking them
up talking about all right, that's twenty dollars right there.

aware that we were off last Wednesday.

Speaker 5 (17:42):
I was not.

Speaker 11 (17:43):
I was not told. I woke up, I said, am
I doing the show? And then I got a long
text of apology.

Speaker 1 (17:53):
Sorry about that, and then I went back to sleep.

Speaker 8 (17:54):
Yeah, pleasant surprise.

Speaker 5 (17:57):
Well I'm here now.

Speaker 1 (17:58):
Yeah, well listen, we're happy and we're happy to have you.

Speaker 8 (18:01):
That's right.

Speaker 1 (18:01):
That were obviously with college football kicking off and then
this being the Labor Day weekend extravaganza, we thought it'd
be appropriate to ask you your thoughts on Kelly Stafford.

Speaker 11 (18:11):
Oh well, she h, she heard her husband with her podcast,
and it's tough. You know, that is a that is
a really hard balance because when you have a podcast
that is so important that has to be done. I
don't know how many times do people do a podcast.

(18:34):
US brick and Mortar radio type of guys are a
little bitter about the podcast world. Right, because you do
like twenty minutes three times a week and you're sitting
there acting like you're working it.

Speaker 5 (18:45):
Really it's really annoying.

Speaker 11 (18:47):
Uh My point is, what is the risk reward for
Kelly Stafford's podcast? It doesn't seem And maybe I'm a
little sensitive because she attacked me on her podcast a
couple of years back for calling Matt Stafford Matt Stafford.
Apparently he's like some kind of aristocrat. You have to
call him Matthew. Yeah, but uh no, it's it's pretty funny,

(19:12):
you know. I mean we talked about it on the show.
Oh my god, I can't believe. But what you wouldn't
believe what Matt told me last night that these guys
are like always on their phone and they won't even
talk to me, and like I don't want to be
their dad.

Speaker 8 (19:25):
You know.

Speaker 11 (19:26):
It's just like my god, the players on the team
market again any older?

Speaker 5 (19:29):
It was crazy.

Speaker 11 (19:35):
Yeah, she's a stone cold idiot, God blessed gez what
I'm sorry?

Speaker 8 (19:46):
Stone cold?

Speaker 5 (19:47):
Am I not supposed to say that?

Speaker 8 (19:52):
Why?

Speaker 11 (19:52):
Because she's married to quarterback? We can't call her an idiot?
I mean, what are her credentials? My wife's married to
former quarterbacks. She calls me an idiot all the time.
Exactly right, Hey, I wasn't even a quarterback, and guess
when I am full on stone cold idiot. Yeah, but
I don't go on a podcast and say, do you
know why my wife tell me Eric God?

Speaker 4 (20:14):
By the way, can we have a duel between Levar's
voice that he was used.

Speaker 8 (20:19):
Earlier and Petro's? Right? Yes, well, could you guys just
have a conversation between the dueling, like which one? What
did I say that? Like the female podcast voice? How
don't remember? But who? Like?

Speaker 6 (20:32):
Honestly I could always make one up though, whether I mean,
do you have to be like a Georgia fan or
something to like have that be appointment listening for you?

Speaker 5 (20:43):
Like how important is it for her to do the podcast?

Speaker 8 (20:47):
Great question? You know what question.

Speaker 1 (20:49):
One of the things that didn't get talked about a
lot in her podcast was that she pointed out they
tried to organize some sort of a gathering at their home,
but they had flooding because the tropical storm that was
out here. Because they were all going to get together
and watch a messy game or some crap like that,
and she pointed out that the Lions were much better
than the Rams at orchestrating and putting together and organizing

(21:12):
team fund because.

Speaker 11 (21:13):
It's Detroit, yes, and no one has anything to do.
I mean it's Los Angeles, for God's sakes. Everybody lives
forty minutes apart, and nobody likes each other.

Speaker 6 (21:23):
We all just sit in our houses mad at the
Texas and it's hot.

Speaker 8 (21:28):
It's really hot right now.

Speaker 11 (21:31):
I don't know, guys, I don't know what you want
me to tell you. You know, it's amazing that he's
even on the team. You know, you thought that they'd
be getting who's on the Rams. I mean, it's Matt Stafford,
it's Donald and then it's uh Cooper Cup and one
leg in Cooper Cup.

Speaker 5 (21:49):
And that's it. That's a whole team and a bunch
of young guys and mcvape.

Speaker 4 (21:52):
They've had a lot of turnover, right, I mean, I
remember when Mangini was in Cleveland with us my third
year there. He used to like ask different players. He'd
like point to someone in the team meeting, like who's
this guy? And I remember big baby Sean Rodgers one time,
He's like a big baby, who's this He's like stand
up and he was like shoe coach.

Speaker 8 (22:11):
I don't know because you've run so many guys through here.

Speaker 4 (22:14):
He's like, I think that dude's been here a week,
and then someone's like, he's actually been here two days.

Speaker 5 (22:19):
You know.

Speaker 4 (22:19):
It's like I never really understand, especially in the NFL,
you have so much roster turnover where you're like, oh,
you need to know your teammate. It's like, what, yeah,
do I like he's got a job. I've got a job.
The guy just got here a week ago. How the
hell am I gonna spend extra time to get to
know him?

Speaker 5 (22:34):
Yeah, it's more like more like a video game, I guess.
But it is kind of.

Speaker 11 (22:39):
Funny that that the Rams have had more turnover than
like the Colorado Buffs, and no one's talking like, no
one's talking about the Rams, no one except until this happened.

Speaker 1 (22:56):
It was crazy.

Speaker 8 (22:59):
It's true.

Speaker 5 (23:00):
Now the guy are play four nine five. Let you
talk to Matt. It was crazy.

Speaker 6 (23:08):
I just want to know what else he told her.
And if they get rid of him, will she talk
about it?

Speaker 8 (23:14):
Oh?

Speaker 5 (23:14):
Yeah, she's never gonna shut up.

Speaker 11 (23:16):
Clearly, m she makes Brenda Warner look like Emily Dickinson.

Speaker 5 (23:21):
No, you jesus Jesus.

Speaker 6 (23:31):
Can I can I ask about another quarterback that's in
this southern California market that is off to a scorching
hot start.

Speaker 1 (23:39):
Chase Daniel Let me guess here we go, buttch in Chase?

Speaker 5 (23:43):
How did you know?

Speaker 8 (23:46):
Can you tell us about Chase Daniels? And how do
you feel about that?

Speaker 5 (23:52):
Do you have to tell you what?

Speaker 11 (23:53):
But the numbers people put up under pinkle and missoo,
how far do you want to take that? Were you
you want to ask me about Caleb?

Speaker 8 (24:02):
Yeah, of course I want to ask you about Caleb man, like.

Speaker 4 (24:06):
I want to ask you about Zachariah. Dude, that guy,
Zach branch Bro. He looks he does look like Reggie.
Like people make the comparison like, yeah, I've seen that before.

Speaker 5 (24:16):
Yeah, but it's not He's a receiver.

Speaker 8 (24:18):
I mean, here's a receiver. If they's right? If well, yeah,
I mean maybe, but you know, even all I'd say
is this is that's not the point.

Speaker 4 (24:28):
Like the point of Reggie's greatness was his vision, his
cutback ability, and that just once it gets the ball
in space, and then it was the ability to just
look like you're playing at a faster speed than everyone else.

Speaker 8 (24:42):
That was Reggie, and that's that's what this young kid
looks like.

Speaker 11 (24:45):
It was a different game when Reggie was playing right,
and and he created a mismatch when he walked out
onto the field because if you leave your sam backer in,
you got a problem with with pastor, he was a
mismatch versus a cornerback, right, you even know what I'm
saying though, But if you and that's how they would
end up winning. I mean, they would have lost to
Virginia Tech if Norm Chow didn't figure out, you know,

(25:06):
a mismatch in the passing game. But most of the
balls Reggie caught were from the backfield, you know, he was.
He really was a traditional shirning back. He might not
have been in this era.

Speaker 8 (25:16):
He might. He might have been a guy that ends
up transitioning to a slot.

Speaker 11 (25:21):
His ability which was not the best on the team
and not really that exceptional compared to other things that
he did. But Reggie's ability to run between the tackles
and be serviceable was another mismatch because if you leave
your nickel in to cover him or try, then now

(25:43):
you're lighting the ass and they can get behind their
offensive line and push you. So I mean that was
always the brilliance of Reggie Bush and what Norm Chow
did with him, mixed in with Lyndale White's ability to
run the zone that was USC twenty years ago, that
was really blowing people away. The reason, I don't know,

(26:04):
I don't bristle at the Reggie Bush comparison for Branch,
but a guy I played with is a lot just
reminded me a lot more of him, and that was
r J. Soward, who was a guy who was picked
I think in the first pick of the second round
and had some personal troubles, but he was the type
of guy I played with. He was a receiver. I

(26:26):
think he was an X or a Z. He was
a Z and he would do you know, he returned
and he would do that, you know, two hundred and
thirty two hundred and forty all purpose yards, you know,
a return, a reverse and catching a pass or seven.
That was really if anybody remembers r J. Soward's career

(26:46):
in his blazing speed, that was to me, that's what
I was looking at. You know, I'm always impressed with
the San Jose State coach offensively and his play caller,
Brent Brennan and Keavin mcgiven and Chevin Cordero was the
Mountain West Player of the Year last year offensively, so

(27:07):
I mean it stands to reason that San Jose State
was going to go out there and.

Speaker 5 (27:10):
Put up points. They scored four touchdowns.

Speaker 11 (27:13):
If USC has any trouble with Nevada, who's still a
team in transition, then I would really start to worry
about them. Defensively. I don't think this will be that
week that will be a pretty easy game. But Caleb's
the number one show in football, maybe all of football right.

Speaker 5 (27:35):
Now with the way that he's playing.

Speaker 11 (27:38):
You know, I haven't seen excitement about a player in
this town since you know, Lionard and Reggie.

Speaker 5 (27:44):
He's really accomplished that.

Speaker 11 (27:47):
But watching the team and looking at the schedule, people
talking about USC going undefeated and all that, I don't know.
I think they're going to be in some wild ass
games in conference down the stretch, Like it is going
to get crazy because people are going to move the
ball and score on him.

Speaker 8 (28:03):
Go ahead.

Speaker 6 (28:04):
Don't you think they got approved they can handle physical teams?
Oh yeah, YO, can't beat Utah No, yeah, exactly.

Speaker 11 (28:12):
I mean we like to look everybody. Somebody asked me
the other day, like what is all this PEC twelve hype?
You know they suck and I'm like, well, yeah, but yes,
but they have quarterbacks. You know, everybody likes quarterbacks. You know,
they got Michael Pennix, they got bow Nicks, they got
cam Ward, they got them Rising, They've got Caleb Williams.

(28:33):
You know, they have quarterbacks up the ass. And we
love offense. So it's something to watch in something to
be excited about. What you know, I don't think USC
under Lincoln Riley is ever going to be able to
line up and playing with Georgia in that kind of
way because they weren't able to do that at Oklahoma.

Speaker 5 (28:54):
Now, the one thing I do believe, and saying it
now is.

Speaker 11 (28:58):
Like talking about the Dark Ages to be because no
one has any perspective. But at USC you can recruit
and develop and create a dominant offensive line. It's been
proven in generation after generation. It's one of the only
West Coast places that you can really do that.

Speaker 8 (29:16):
Now.

Speaker 11 (29:17):
People talk about Stanford and they have their ten twelve
years of doing it and their intellectual brutality stuff, But
I'm talking about years and years and decades and decades
of excellence, you know, from Marvin Powell, Senior, Brad Buddy,
Anthony Munoz, you know all the way to the Khalil Brothers.
You can do that at USC, but they just don't

(29:38):
have that. Yeah, Tyrant exactly from a rev high Redlands
East Valley, but they don't have They just don't have
that mentality. Lincoln Riley, that's just not the type of
coach that he is. Maybe he develops into that, maybe
things change or evolve, but yeah, I don't think. You know,
it's fun to talk about how great sc is on offense, Patrick, Well,

(29:59):
what happened if they lined up up against Georgia They'd
get their head.

Speaker 5 (30:01):
Knocked inside out.

Speaker 1 (30:03):
Petros, do you think Lincoln Riley ever coaches a game
in the Big Ten for USC? Or do you think
he's out after this year?

Speaker 11 (30:10):
I wouldn't be surprised if he's out after this year,
depending on what happens with Caleb Williams, right, he might
try to pull an ol Way, and I mean it's
going to get complicated. But I've always thought Lincoln Riley
it was I always thought it was an interesting move.
I mean, us, he is a better job because of
who you're recruiting against and where you are and you're

(30:31):
not fighting the Texas fight, you know, if you're Oklahoma.
I get that for him, but it always felt like
a parallel move to me. The natural move for Lincoln
Riley always figured was going to the NFL, becoming the
next coach of the freaking Cowboys. And that's still kind
of dangling out there, isn't it. Yeah, so you could

(30:52):
be correct in that, and Sarkisian may never even coach
a game in the SEC.

Speaker 8 (30:57):
How about that?

Speaker 11 (30:59):
Oh wow, I'm just kidding at everybody's talking about Texas
all week, and I'm like, dude, when I've done this
at Washington, I've done this at SC you know.

Speaker 5 (31:10):
I really like what Sark's doing. Look at what he's doing.

Speaker 11 (31:12):
I mean, I remember it was like last year's or
two years ago, Joel Klatt and Gus were doing the
the Texas Oklahoma game, right before Caleb Williams came in
and changed that whole landscape, saying something like, you know,
Sarks playing chess and everybody else is just playing checkers.
And then you know, next thing, you know, guy throws

(31:33):
a pick six and Kabam comes. I mean, we and
it's that Joel's not alone. I mean, my god, Herbstreet
bought it every year and hook line and sinker, and
it's like, I'm not buying it anymore. Sark's gonna win
seven games, and that's gonna be it. That's I mean,
it's been the that's been the case forever.

Speaker 4 (31:53):
So you're saying your position is the Texas job comes
open the year they entered the SEC that job, you
think it's gonna be open.

Speaker 5 (32:01):
I don't know.

Speaker 11 (32:01):
I mean, he'd have to be pretty unsuccessful this year
for them to fire him. I mean, they paid that
guy eighty million dollar. Can you imagine paying Steve's are
keysing eighty million dollars or seventy or whatever it is
to get him?

Speaker 1 (32:12):
Petros On DraftKings, the over under win total for Texas
is nine and a half. Are you saying you'd bet
the under?

Speaker 8 (32:18):
So you think they win nine games? He's good, He's safe.

Speaker 5 (32:22):
I don't know.

Speaker 11 (32:24):
I mean, that's so those people are crazy. You know,
it's a crazy place. But the entitlement and the spoiled
brat nature of Texas football even pales, I mean makes
USC look like like West Point. They I mean, they really,
I'm I mean, I am.

Speaker 5 (32:44):
Look, I'm shocked at West point, didn't you.

Speaker 11 (32:48):
I really am shocked at like just the hype machine
that gets rolling every year for some of these coaches.
You know, and you know stands back is what you're saying, No,
and neither Colorado. The air is about to come out
of that balloon too game and if it doesn't get
ready for the big noon pr lawnmower to freaking eat

(33:10):
up all yeah, all of the airtime about Colorado.

Speaker 5 (33:14):
Colorado.

Speaker 11 (33:15):
All they need to do is score like two touchdowns
against TCU and it can be like.

Speaker 5 (33:18):
God, look what dens Donnie changed every day?

Speaker 8 (33:24):
Do you really think I would say that?

Speaker 11 (33:27):
I didn't say you would would just h You're just
a wheel in the in the machine there, Brady, I'm
just a little.

Speaker 1 (33:35):
Bold a Petros. Petro's what game he got this weekend?

Speaker 11 (33:39):
I have b Yu Sam Houston. So the conference debut
for both of those teams. B Yu starting out in
the Big twelve and Sam Houston coming up to FBS.
They've been an FCS team, had a successful one and
now they're taking this step up. And they did something
interesting last year they red shirted like twenty of their

(34:00):
best players in anticipation for coming up. So we'll see
what they're like.

Speaker 1 (34:06):
Yeah, the Bearcats, Well there it is. You can watch
that game, by the way on FS one. That's a
ten to fifteen Eastern time kickoff.

Speaker 11 (34:13):
Wouldn't it be funny if, like you look back and
find out that Laturday, Sam Houston and Steven F.

Speaker 5 (34:18):
Austin were in a gay relationship.

Speaker 1 (34:20):
Oh wow, wow, Hey.

Speaker 8 (34:22):
But you are a beese petro. Yeah. I ever thought
I was gonna hear that question, Love, I.

Speaker 5 (34:29):
Wish I could quit you saying.

Speaker 4 (35:12):
There kind of a little appetizer to for old big
noon kickoff, and then I head to Fort Worth for
TCU Colorado the beginning of coach.

Speaker 1 (35:22):
Brad Yeah, and then lebar you're going to be in
state college for Penn State West Virginia.

Speaker 8 (35:29):
That is correct, Yeah, some of us. You know, we're
looking for Penn State to win by three touchdowns?

So without further ado, though, it is time for the
return of this.

Speaker 3 (36:05):
Let's go to the news desk. No, here's Brady Quinn.

Speaker 8 (36:09):
Yay.

Speaker 4 (36:10):
Well, Kanye West is making some headlines jeezus slipped up
there as he's spending some time abroad in Italy with
his his wife, Bianca Sensory. Apparently his uh but was
exposed while riding a water tax and it's also left
some people wondering what exactly was happening on that water

(36:34):
taxi based on the view of well, Kanye West, but
being exposed and you know the position of Bianca.

Speaker 1 (36:45):
His pant slid down right, Yeah, I mean interesting. Oh
I saw the other view. Okay, well.

Speaker 8 (36:58):
Wow, maybe you know she was he is friends with
one Antonio Brown, you do know that.

Speaker 1 (37:08):
Yeah, but I felt like maybe maybe there was like
just some sort of an issue with.

Speaker 8 (37:14):
His belt buckle, right, his belt buckle. Maybe he's lost
some weight, you know, and the pants just kind of
fell down. He needs, you know, the pants.

Speaker 1 (37:22):
That's that's true.

Speaker 8 (37:23):
That what it is.

Speaker 4 (37:24):
Well, we should we shouldn't get ahead of ourselves. Let
me go on to the next Let's go on. Okay,
man is seen in a video with a porn star.
Now it's it's not what you're thinking. It's not an
adult film that he's seen in. He just happens to

(37:45):
be seen in a video with a porn star, which
would lead some to believe that maybe there is potentially
a video somewhere.

Speaker 1 (37:53):
Who's the porn star familiar with her?

Speaker 2 (37:55):
Oh?

Speaker 8 (37:56):
Let me let me Leah Leah cat Leah.

Speaker 1 (38:01):
All right, let's see Sebdie prouts Yeah, k T yeah, Katlea.

Speaker 4 (38:06):
Catlea yeah, you got only the footsteps of Jimmy Garoppolo.

Speaker 8 (38:12):
Is that an essence what we have here?

Speaker 4 (38:14):
Did the Pizon passion all of a sudden spread down Phoenix?

Speaker 1 (38:19):
They definitely spread, that's for sure. I would say. Yeah.
I mean, listen, DeAndre and kat Lea just you know,
hanging out having a uh, having a nice dinner and
trying to have some fun. Nothing wrong with that, you know.

Speaker 8 (38:33):
I mean, lave already thoughts on this.

Speaker 1 (38:35):
Nope, why not?

Speaker 8 (38:40):
Nope?

Speaker 1 (38:40):
Okay, I mean.

Speaker 8 (38:42):
If you could get what I'm saying, I just ain't
going to touch it.

Speaker 1 (38:45):
Yeah, okay, I hear you, all right?

Speaker 8 (38:48):
Right? How about this one?

Speaker 4 (38:49):
That tough day for a lot of a lot of
players yesterday Obviously it was a cut day. A lot
of the hopes and dreams of many out there it's
now gone. This could be the last football they ever
get to play. And in some cases it gets even
more personal when head coach of the Jacksonville Jaguars, Doug
Peterson has to cut his son Josh Peterson.

Speaker 8 (39:11):
Yeah, geez, they.

Speaker 4 (39:13):
Signed twenty five year old tight end excuse me in
July to give the team a little bit more depth
of the position.

Speaker 8 (39:20):
Is sent a tight end and yeah he had to
he got cut.

Speaker 4 (39:24):
Now there's a chance, obviously he could come back on
the practice squad, but at this point in time, that's
that might be a little a little tough.

Speaker 1 (39:32):
I mean, how bad did he perform that there was
no choice but to cut him.

Speaker 8 (39:38):
I don't think it's about how bad he performed.

Speaker 6 (39:42):
They have a lot of players at that tight ends position,
you know, one out of Penn State too.

Speaker 8 (39:46):
You know, it's pretty competitive, that's all.

Speaker 6 (39:49):
But that should be a badge honor that you got
to fire your your your child.

Speaker 1 (39:54):
Do you think this causes problems at home or it's
more like.

Speaker 8 (39:57):
A mom may may get at him. But yeah, you know,
I don't know that situation. But it's a little awkward, yeah,
chad Bit, Yeah,
