Speaker 1 (00:00):
You are listening to the Dan Patrick Show on Fox
Sports Radio.
Speaker 2 (00:04):
Oh hell yeah, it is a Dan Patrick Show. Here
Fox Sports Radio. LaVar Arrington, Jonas Knox with you in
for Dan and the guys. You can hear LaVar and
I Monday through Friday, six am Eastern time, three o'clock Pacific.
We are the show before the Dan Patrick Show, alongside
Brady Quinn. Brady is not with us here today, but
it'll be Stick and I taking you all the way
(00:26):
up until the end of this hour Newon Eastern time,
nine o'clock Pacific here, and we open up the show
talking about the New York Knicks surviving winning Game three,
making that a series. And I think we both feel like, yeah, listen,
it was a it was good, great job. But it
(00:48):
all comes down to Game four. If the Knicks lose
Game four, that's a rap, folks, that is a rap.
And the Indiana Pacers will be going on to the
NBA Finals. So despite what happened last night, and still
have a ton of work to do, and they're gonna
have to do it on the road.
Speaker 1 (01:03):
And I would assume, I would expect that.
Speaker 2 (01:05):
Indiana plays a little bit better down the stretch than
they did last night, did not look like the same pacers.
Speaker 3 (01:12):
Yeah, let me do this before before we get too
far off into the show, because I just want to
knock it out. Julian Fleming, one of my alumni brothers
that just left Penn State, obviously you know, had a
ATV accident of some sort and was in your bed
hit a deer, and I just wanted to send a
(01:34):
thought and prayer out to his family and.
Speaker 4 (01:37):
To Alyssa Boyd who.
Speaker 3 (01:40):
Was Julian's girlfriend and unfortunately passed away from the accident
that took place. So I just wanted to make sure
I put that out there before we got too much
further into the show, because I don't know if we're
going to talk about it or not. But just wanted
to send out thoughts and prayers to Julian's family and
obviously to his his his girlfriend Alyssa Boyd, who again
(02:05):
she passed away from the injuries from from the wreck.
So I hate to see that happen, but just wanted
to make sure I put that out there before we
go any further in the show.
Speaker 1 (02:17):
And it was a TV and did they hit a deer?
Speaker 4 (02:21):
A deer?
Speaker 3 (02:21):
A deer ran into the roadway and and they made.
Speaker 4 (02:25):
Contact with the deer.
Speaker 3 (02:27):
I think it was in the evening maybe round EIGHTI
ish or something to that effect, a thirty is or something,
But it was in the evening at a a TV
you know, deer's run crazy in Pennsylvania. And that was
an unfortunate, uh, untimely accident for for Julian and his girlfriend.
So thoughts and prayers out to them, man, because that's
(02:48):
that's gotta be the biggest nightmare ever to hear that,
you know, hair a call like that come through for
for either one of them, and especially for Alyssa. So yeah,
I just want to send that out because that's that's
weighing on me a little bit and I'm sitting here
continuing to like kind of get you know, information about it.
And then so it was just kind of want to
(03:08):
throw that out there.
Speaker 5 (03:09):
Yeah, yeah, well said.
Speaker 3 (03:12):
All right, back to NBA, back to to basketball, back
to what's taking place. The Knicks saved themselves from being
considered maybe one of the most historical disappointments to a
fan base maybe in the history of basketballs maybe the
(03:34):
history of sports. I mean, it could it could rank
pretty high up there. Uh. They saved themselves, Uh, the
disappointment and the embarrassment of it. By winning that game
last evening, it did not come without adversity. They did
have to overcome a tremendous deficit. And again, I think
(03:58):
that the deficit came from just really the idea of
shooting the ball and thinking.
Speaker 4 (04:05):
That at some point it's going to go in.
Speaker 3 (04:07):
And more specifically, you know, Cat, big Cat, Carl Anthony
Towns was putting it up there and it wasn't going in.
And and then now you know, the Pacers were coming
back down court, and they were making making their their
trips down court count much more.
Speaker 4 (04:24):
Than what the Knicks were.
Speaker 3 (04:26):
And and some way, somehow, I don't know, maybe maybe
Cat heard Shaq talking about him at halftime, maybe he
took a quick look at his social media and saw
what people were saying about him. I don't know, but
he came out a new man and in the second
half of that that that game, Carl Anthony Towns was
(04:47):
the difference maker as he has needed to be the
difference maker. Being as big an acquisition to the Knicks
as he has been, there was no reason for him
to do what he basically did last year with the Timberwolves,
which was he disappeared. He shot himself into a disappearance
(05:08):
and his face onto a milk carton of missing in
the game last year for the Minnesota Timberwolves, and he
was heading down that same lane this past this past game.
Speaker 2 (05:20):
Can I can I ask you a question? Yeah, because
you mentioned social media? Yep, Like what if you had
to put a percentage on what percentage of today's athletes
check their social media and they're mentioned during games to
get games halftime? You know, I'm saying, like halftime, I've been.
Speaker 3 (05:38):
So removed, I'm so far removed from locker rooms.
Speaker 2 (05:46):
I don't know, man, because it seems they seems ill advised.
That would seem like a terrible idea.
Speaker 3 (05:51):
Athletes live on their social media for one reason or another,
whether it's trends for fashion, whether it's trends for uh
sneakers or you know what the trends girls. Yeah, and
if you're girls, then maybe guys and maybe for guys
guys and girls for girls.
Speaker 4 (06:10):
These days, you know, it's all yeah, it's all out there, man.
Speaker 3 (06:14):
But yeah, I mean I would if you're on social media,
I would say they're always on its.
Speaker 2 (06:23):
Remember Pablo Sandoval Lee, I think this. Can you double
check this? I think Pablo sand of Aal was during
a major during a game, and I think he was
with the Red Sox at this time.
Speaker 1 (06:34):
He was caught.
Speaker 2 (06:36):
Liking photos on Instagram while he went into the clubhouse
to use the toilet, so he's literally sitting on the
toilet and he was just, Oh, yeah, he's just double tap,
that's what And that's what I'm saying.
Speaker 4 (06:47):
They on them.
Speaker 3 (06:48):
I don't know if they're looking at like, I don't
know if Kat went into the locker room, he's.
Speaker 4 (06:51):
Like, give me a water, hung hand me my cellphones?
Speaker 5 (06:54):
Thank you?
Speaker 4 (06:55):
Uh oh no, oh no? Why are are they saying
this about me? What does understand why they're saying this
about me?
Speaker 5 (07:04):
Hey?
Speaker 2 (07:05):
What is at John Starks fans zero five eight four
eight saying about me?
Speaker 4 (07:10):
Like?
Speaker 1 (07:10):
Hey, what what's what's that guy saying?
Speaker 3 (07:13):
I didn't even know Patrick Ewing was on social media?
Speaker 4 (07:17):
Like why is he saying this about me?
Speaker 2 (07:20):
Spike Lee's burner attacking me again because I'm shoot too
many threes?
Speaker 4 (07:24):
Lee?
Speaker 1 (07:24):
Do we have an update?
Speaker 5 (07:25):
You know what?
Speaker 4 (07:26):
His message to Karl Anthony was, what's that? Do the
right thing?
Speaker 1 (07:30):
Damn? Lee?
Speaker 2 (07:32):
Do you have an update on Pablo Sandoval getting horned
up while in a stall.
Speaker 6 (07:37):
Yeah yeah, twenty fifteen and a loss to the Braves. Yeah,
I was double tapping on a bunch of girls photos.
Oh god, of course he was creeping and uh yeah,
he got suspended for one game.
Speaker 1 (07:47):
Follow me this one man stalls another man's batting cage.
Speaker 4 (07:50):
You know what I mean. Although I can see the photos,
I can see why he did.
Speaker 2 (07:54):
Oh yeah, yeah, I mean, out of for the sake
of show research, could you at.
Speaker 1 (07:59):
Least pass was a long run?
Speaker 4 (08:01):
Yeah, you got it.
Speaker 2 (08:02):
But I just was wondering, like, is that is that
a thing? Because I it would not surprise me. But
I think Kevin Garnett I heard he was doing an
interview with I think him and Paul Pierce might have
been talking, and he was making the point that when
he went back to Minnesota, and I think I think
(08:23):
he spent a year back with Minnesota, but when he
went back there, it was kind of a mentor role.
Speaker 1 (08:28):
And he was.
Speaker 2 (08:29):
Talking about how, you know, Ricky Rubio was another veteran
that was there, and he would go into the locker
room and guys would all just be on their phone,
like he would get into the locker room.
Speaker 1 (08:39):
It'd be halftime of a game.
Speaker 2 (08:40):
You would think, all right, you know, let's spend a
couple of minutes before the coaches get in here, let's
go over adjustments, what we need to do better. And
he would walk in there and guys were just sitting
there on their phone, like could not wait to get
on their phone at halftime. And that was back then.
I mean, I can only imagine it's gotten even worse now.
Speaker 3 (08:56):
So well, whatever happened, And and you know, sports culture
is funny too, Like I'll give you a story, right, Well,
I remember my freshman year, I wasn't good enough to
beat out Aaron Collins, fifty year senior, number six, super
dope dude learned a lot from me.
Speaker 4 (09:14):
Is in front of me.
Speaker 3 (09:14):
So I played special teams, and I just remember I
came out to a game and Oj McDuffie and Keijohna
Carter were on the sideline, right, So all I get
is kickoffs and punts, that's all I get. Jonas like
I don't get in there, like I'm looking at him,
(09:36):
like dang, the O G Legends is up in here,
like dang, I don't get to go on the field
and show him I can play, I said, but I
damn sure can show him on on kickoff, right. So
I was like in my mind, I was like, I
will be the first person in the in the end
zone when the ball is kicked if it goes out
of the end zone, or I am going to take
(09:59):
somebody's li life if they come in my way for
me going to the ball, whether.
Speaker 4 (10:03):
It's the wedge, whether it's the ball.
Speaker 3 (10:06):
Carrier himself, I am going to I am going to
put it on so that when I come off this field.
OJ McDuffie and Key Johnna Carter knew like who is
he right? And that's what happened. I went down that
joint and I was blowing cats up, like up, And
(10:28):
when I was coming off to the sideline, Key Johnah
was like looking at me like yeah broh, yeah, bruh,
And I was looking at him.
Speaker 1 (10:35):
Like yeah broh.
Speaker 3 (10:37):
Sure.
Speaker 4 (10:40):
And now look at the point of the story. There's
the point of the story.
Speaker 3 (10:44):
Somebody was up in that locker room like Shaq ain't
liking how you playing. A Patrick Ewing sitting in the
stands and he's saying.
Speaker 4 (10:52):
That he ain't.
Speaker 3 (10:52):
They ain't liking how you playing big dog like you
a big man, play like a big man.
Speaker 4 (10:57):
My guy.
Speaker 3 (10:59):
Somebody got him. And if I listen, that man wants respect.
He wants to be respected as one of the players
that are our bright stars in this league. That's the
reputation that Karl Anthony Towns wants. He wants to be
seen as the go to guy. He wants to be
that franchise guy. So if if I'm if I'm gauging
(11:22):
this the right way. Somebody got to him, man and
was like, bruh, they calling you softist, some charming toilet
tits you out here. They said, you can't fight your
way out of a wet paper bag.
Speaker 4 (11:32):
Bruh.
Speaker 3 (11:32):
Like it ain't good, man, They just talking bad about you, Carl.
And Carl responded, some catch Some cats shy away from
the challenges. Some cats get scared of the challenges. Carl
Anthony Towns answered the bell. He answered the bell, and
and and doing so. Jonas, I gotta tell you, they
might have found their secret weapon in terms of being
(11:56):
able to not only even up the series, but possibly
league come back and.
Speaker 4 (12:01):
Win the series. And that's Karl Anthony Towns playing like
a big man.
Speaker 3 (12:05):
Oh my gosh, breaking news on the Dan Patrick Show,
Carl Anthony Towns discovers that he's a seven foot basketball
player and can actually do damage to the Indiana Pacers
in the down low post.
Speaker 1 (12:25):
In by the way, there's in the what is it called,
what's what's the lane called?
Speaker 3 (12:32):
What's that? What's that called? I don't know it's the post?
But what what is that?
Speaker 4 (12:37):
The square? I don't know what it's called. In the
paintway the paint, the paint like that.
Speaker 1 (12:42):
By the way. I gotta I gotta look, uh, I
gotta look this up.
Speaker 2 (12:46):
I want to see if they have it available yet
because I want I'm not I'm not even to look
like three points made in the game. I want to
look at the over under on three points attempted by
Carl Anthony Towns in the upcoming game.
Speaker 1 (13:00):
There's God, there's got to be it.
Speaker 2 (13:02):
Because I'm telling you right now, we can celebrate him
for finding the paint again. The guy's gonna stand back
and he's gonna shoot threes. It's just what he's gonna do.
Speaker 3 (13:11):
Like it's how many, but here it is because you're right,
the question is how many threes will he make or
how many threes will he miss to figure out that
he's got to stop and go down low before like,
before he comes to that conclusion, how many will he shoot?
(13:33):
It costed them? And I don't want to put that
all on Karl Anthony Town why not? Okay, well you
could put some of it on him, but I will
say he shot so many threes and missed so many
that the leads started ballooning. And and so to me,
my thing is, are you going to miss two threes?
Speaker 4 (13:54):
Are you going to.
Speaker 3 (13:54):
Miss five threes? Are you going to miss one three?
Before you're like, h miss that one. I'll come back
to that. Let's go establish it down low. Let's not
get behind. Let's let's, you know, let me do what
I need to do down low. So the other guys,
you know, Brunson can do what he needs to do.
You know, Annobe can do what he needs to do.
You know, Let's let's just see what we need to do.
(14:15):
Mike kel Bridges, we see what we need to do.
I'm gonna go down low and I'm gonna I'm gonna
get these trenches right. But is it gonna take one
or is it gonna take ten? Three pointers?
Speaker 4 (14:27):
Too?
Speaker 3 (14:27):
And now if he's making them. That's a whole nother story.
If he's making them threes, ain't nobody gonna say nothing
about it. But I feel like it creates this false
sense of security because you just never know when Karl
Anthony Towns is gonna go cold from the outside, and
he makes it no point to go down low and
get it, get it out the mud, get it in
(14:49):
the dirty ways. But he did this last game, and
that might have been what they needed, was to discover that.
He might have needed to discover that, you know what,
I can, indeed go inside and make layups and three
point continuation plays and different things like that to help
my team. And that's what he did. So if he
(15:11):
keeps doing that, Indiana could find themselves in a world
of trouble because Brunson, he holds that ball right, he's
gonna move, he's gonna facilitate, he's going to direct things.
And if the only only contribution you're getting from Karl
Anthony Towns is him waiting up top throwing a pick,
doing a lazy ass little shuffle and spin to get
(15:34):
the ball to shoot a three and brick it, that
ain't going You ain't gonna win that way. You're making
it easy on Indiana to be able to do what
they need to do. And I wonder if that's the message.
The overarching message for all of them is don't get
caught up into just shooting threes all god dann game.
Let's run a set, Let's get it down low, Let's
(15:57):
pound it down low. We got an advantage. We got
a guy at seven foot that could play inside outside
on our team. We got a guy that can handle
the ball the way that Brunson does and facilitate.
Speaker 4 (16:09):
We have the advantage. Let's not just give it away.
I give it away.
Speaker 2 (16:14):
So I want to just ask you something here before
we before we get out of the segment, because I
do think this is important to bring up. You know's
obviously we're talking about the NBA, and I wanted to
ask you because you would be the expert on this
for those that are not familiar. LeVar Arrington is a
w NBA season ticket holder, And so I was just
wondering what I was, you know, I don't know, but
(16:38):
I was just wondering. So I saw the latest story
out of the w NBA. While the NBA is celebrating
their playoffs, the w NBA, the latest uh story is
that Britney Griner might have mouthed a something racial racial
or like uh, you know, trash ass white.
Speaker 4 (16:58):
Girls or what yeah, something like that like that.
Speaker 2 (17:00):
It might have been, but there's you know, lip reading
going on. Who knows if she actually said it. And
this is an honest question, and you would be the
one to ask on this, like are there any highlights
from like games or anything like that? Do they actually
play games or is this all like a reality show?
Because all I keep hearing about is racial storylines, people
(17:25):
in the media using that to like settle past Beef's
Caitlyn Clark, and people not appreciating the fact that.
Speaker 4 (17:33):
They're calling Katelyn Clark the Jackie Robinson of w.
Speaker 2 (17:37):
And Okay, I mean listen, I'm just trying to figure out, like,
are there actually.
Speaker 1 (17:43):
Games that are playing actual games? Yes?
Speaker 3 (17:45):
And highlight Clark has been cooking, man, I mean there
have been actual games that have been taking place, because
all I hear about is this They're they're not dominating
the they're not dominating the media circuit, Like you're just
not You're not getting.
Speaker 4 (18:01):
What are we doing here?
Speaker 2 (18:03):
Every Like every time there's a w NBA storyline, it's like, uh,
so and so in a scuffle with angel Ree, Britney
Griner uses a racial slur.
Speaker 4 (18:15):
Argie's got her face.
Speaker 2 (18:17):
RG three and Ryan Clark are trading barbs over angel
Rese Caitlin Clark. It's like, dude, what what's going on here?
Speaker 5 (18:25):
Right?
Speaker 3 (18:25):
I mean it's it's a very very assertive effort to
I would assume, lean into what is relevant for them.
Speaker 4 (18:35):
They're playing the hits and.
Speaker 3 (18:37):
And that's a said an unfortunate reality that watching Bridge
like I found my I'm guilty as charged. I was
reading her lips. It's it looked like she said what
they wrote she said. I don't know, because I've seen
enough lip reading. Uh uh. The those videos that they
put out where they had the dude saying something and
(18:59):
it's not what they said, but it looks like it's
what they said, and it be something funny like hey,
I saw your mom walk across the street the other day. Oh,
and that's what it looks like he said out of
his mouth.
Speaker 1 (19:10):
By the way, how do we know she wasn't speaking
in Russian? Again?
Speaker 2 (19:13):
And I'm just trying to get to the bottom of
the stuff. I just want to know what's going on.
Speaker 4 (19:16):
There.
Speaker 1 (19:17):
I just want to know she learned a little Russian
time there.
Speaker 2 (19:21):
I think it's important that we get the facts here, Okay,
so we can so we can have a clear discussion
about what's going on.
Speaker 1 (19:27):
But the point I know.
Speaker 3 (19:28):
Is the Links are undefeated right now. Just in case
anybody was interested, they do play tomorrow. I believe at
five o'clock they play the Storm.
Speaker 5 (19:41):
Yeah.
Speaker 3 (19:41):
I mean there's been some some pretty good basketball taking place.
Speaker 1 (19:47):
You don't hear about any of that though, none.
Speaker 3 (19:48):
Of that, No, because obviously the needle is being moved
by the and and by the way those two stories
that you throw out there, you know, the Ryan Clark
RG three beef, it's it's connected back to Kitlyn Clark,
the big, big Britney grinder who runs around with her
(20:10):
shirt off now and and and takes pictures them videos
that way, she's talking about Caitlyn Clark. Like the bottom
line is is that Caitlyn Clark. And it's funny because
something happened where Kitlyn Clark got They showed a highlight
of her getting getting a foul and and it was
(20:31):
like a charge, but she really like broke the girl's
ankles down and her ankles were weak and her body
couldn't handle it, and she went down to the ground
and then the referee called a charge, you know, called
the offense foul got a die like it almost looks
as though Caitlyn Clark.
Speaker 4 (20:49):
Is being targeted.
Speaker 3 (20:52):
Oh, you and I both know, generally speaking, you do
not see a person of the background in dissent of
Caitlyn Clark being targeted.
Speaker 1 (21:07):
The grade point.
Speaker 3 (21:08):
Imagine that we live in a world where Caitlyn Clark
is being targeted.
Speaker 4 (21:15):
Yeah, there you go.
Speaker 3 (21:18):
But she's the tie, She's the rising tie, and I
think people know that. So I don't think Britney Griner
says she was that to make headlines. I mean, she's
done enough making headlines on her own without any help,
you know. But I don't think she did that on purpose.
But I do think it is purposeful. I do believe
(21:40):
it is intentional that Caitlyn Clark is at the epicenter
of every single major story that is coming out of
the WNBA.
Speaker 4 (21:49):
Right.
Speaker 1 (21:50):
It's incredible, man, it's incredible.
Speaker 2 (21:53):
It is the Dan Patrick Show here on Fox Sports Radio.

Speaker 1 (22:13):
All right.
Speaker 2 (22:14):
So coming up next here on The Dan Patrick Show
with Lebar Arrington and Jonas Knox, we are going to
get into the weird.
Speaker 5 (22:20):
All right.
Speaker 2 (22:20):
There is a there's a story, a football story that
should really just be about football, and it's completely been hijacked.
We'll get into that for you right here on FSR.
Speaker 7 (22:33):

Speaker 2 (22:52):
Well, here on the Dan Patrick Show, we are going
to introduce you to something called Lee's Leftovers that will
be yours here in a little over fifteen minutes from now.
Speaking of love, I would say this, I believe that
Bill Belichick and.
Speaker 1 (23:06):
I believe that Bill Belichick and Jordan Hudson.
Speaker 4 (23:08):
Are in love. You know, I believe.
Speaker 2 (23:10):
Yeah, I think their love is strong, and I think
their love is very strong. I think it's strong enough
to elicit weird behavior from people in the media. The
very latest weird turn is the fact that Pablo Torre,
who has been doing deep dives on this for weeks
and weeks now, apparently he's pissed off Jordan Hudson. She
(23:34):
made a a comment and I think she might have
deleted the comment. He defended his reporting afterwards and all that,
but you know, she was not happy about the fact
that you remember that that ring camera video of Bill
Belichick walking around shirtless in Nantucket. So Pablo Torri went
to that airbnb, got on the camera himself to show
(23:56):
that he was at that same Airbnb, and even to
the owners of the airbnb, who admitted that they were
a little bit concerned about Jordan Hudson and Bill Belichick
because apparently that was they rented that Hudson and Belichick.
That's why he was there and decided to go there
and interview the people who ran the airbnb and own
the place about their potential concerns about the age difference
(24:20):
between the two. And so she responded, didn't like that,
deleted the response he responded to her, etc.
Speaker 4 (24:27):
Etc.
Speaker 1 (24:28):
Mike Florio has.
Speaker 2 (24:29):
Done something on Belichick seemingly every single day for the
past you know, however many weeks this has gone on,
and I've just at some point, is anybody going to
acknowledge that the coverage of this is weird?
Speaker 5 (24:44):
Like?
Speaker 1 (24:44):
Is anybody going to knowledge other than us? To the
point I.
Speaker 3 (24:47):
Say, I feel like I make it a point to
talk about how weird it is to be an im
Man's person.
Speaker 4 (24:53):
But I say it why it's weird.
Speaker 3 (24:55):
It's weird because either your one of those guys, you're
one of these media members that has never because a
lot of them are geeks. A lot of media members
are geeks, and your only relevance is that you write
(25:17):
really well or you do really well in reporting and
journalists and you see a situation play out where a
guy that's tremendously ridiculously older than other people book a
young shorty that's super fly, and you got an issue
(25:40):
with it.
Speaker 2 (25:41):
By the way, you ever seen that movie Never Been Kissed?
I think it's with Drew Barrymore where she's this nerd,
she's a nerd writer and this jock makes her think
that he's picking her up for prom and the limo
pulls up and he pops out of the sun roof
of the limo and she's on the porch going hi, Billy,
and he says, whytch, you write a about this geek
and he throws.
Speaker 1 (26:01):
An the egg at her.
Speaker 5 (26:03):
It's so good.
Speaker 4 (26:06):
I think that's what we're dealing with here.
Speaker 3 (26:07):
There's a bunch of weirdos that can handle the fact
that an old man could actually find love with a young,
good looking lady. That's what I and it could be.
I feel like it's just that simple. I tell stories
all the time about people praise and talk all these
different superlatives about these coaches and what they represent and this, that.
Speaker 4 (26:31):
And the other.
Speaker 3 (26:31):
Them coaches got ugly wives and don't want to go home.
They don't want to go home. They want to stay
They want to stay away and stay around an environment
that they want to stay in. And they act like
they love the game. And it ain't about the game.
It's about not having to go home, like I've seen
it a ton of times. And I'm sorry, I don't
(26:53):
want to sound like a d bag to to these
guys's wives, but you ain't You ain't cute like, it's
just what it is. You're not a good looking person,
like by aesthetics, you know, measurement, You're not pretty.
Speaker 4 (27:06):
And so you.
Speaker 3 (27:07):
Get used to this just certain type of way of
how coaches handle things, and you think that that's the
way that it's supposed to be. And then every so
often you run up on one that you see him,
and then you see his wife and you like, dang,
that's a bad mother lover right there. Every single time,
(27:28):
and whether people want to admit it or not, I'm
here to tell you the truth today. I'm sorry, Dan,
we got your spot. So if I jacked up for you,
I apologize, But I'm just here to.
Speaker 4 (27:36):
Keep it real.
Speaker 3 (27:37):
Every single time we see a coach that has a
banging ass girlfriend or wife, what do we do?
Speaker 4 (27:45):
We lose our minds.
Speaker 3 (27:47):
Cliff Kingsbury, y'all lost your minds over Cliff Kingsbury. McVeigh,
y'all lost your minds over McVeigh. This is not the
first time. This is a habit of the media getting
caught up and getting lost into how beautiful a coach's
chick is when she's beautiful, because you don't see it often.
(28:09):
And now what you don't see. Even more so, you
don't see often is an old ass coach with a
banging ass you young woman that's his girlfriend. You don't
see that often, And you definitely don't see it with
the greatest coach of all time to ever coach in
the National Football League, you don't see it. So you
locked up in it and you should have just said, Okay,
(28:31):
he's got a younger girlfriend. Boom boom boom. She's a
good looking woman, model type woman. Bill Belichick wins on
the field and Bill Belichick wins off the field. Done,
be done, Move on from it. But the fact that
y'all keep digging into this and writing stories and making
us have to talk about it, y'all some weirdos, man,
(28:52):
and you need to accept that you are a weirdo
writing about this man in his personal life. Do you
want to be there? Do you want to get the
play by play in the bedroom?
Speaker 1 (29:02):
What? What is your motivation?
Speaker 3 (29:05):
Move on? We're like two months away, We're one hundred
some days away from the college season starting talk about
the football team. This is one of the greatest coaches
of all time in the history of sports and.
Speaker 4 (29:20):
Is now coaching at the college level.
Speaker 3 (29:23):
Talk about all of the storylines that surround Bill Belichick
being at the University of North Carolina.
Speaker 1 (29:30):
And by the way, you know who else is an idiot?
Actually both idiots.
Speaker 2 (29:35):
Those two booger eaters who own the airbnb, those two
owners there who did the interview with Pablo Torea basically
aired out Belichick and then gave away the like let
the video get out of their hands so it could
make the rounds. Oh well, we didn't have anything to
do with it. Why would anybody stay at that place again?
(29:56):
When you know you got a couple of weirdos that
are running the place, said, are gonna let the video
of you coming in and out of the property around
the public places if necessary?
Speaker 5 (30:06):
Like?
Speaker 1 (30:06):
What? The whole thing is wild?
Speaker 4 (30:11):
Like I swear to dressing this movie.
Speaker 1 (30:17):
WD you write a poll about this geek? That's one
of my favorite parts of a movie ever.
Speaker 5 (30:22):
Oh no, oh no, she took it holler too.
Speaker 4 (30:34):
She ain't take it the right way.
Speaker 5 (30:37):
She took it hall she took it to heart.
Speaker 2 (30:39):
Yeah whateverl hey Offlet face go get a mop.
Speaker 3 (30:44):
You got a good egould, Bill Belichick? Could good throw
eggs at the people write these stories about this whole.
Speaker 2 (30:55):
Imagine Belichick and Jordan Hudson popping out of the sun
roof of a limo and Belichick firing it throwing articles
on his geek, and Mike Florio saying, Hey, write an
article about this geek.
Speaker 5 (31:08):
So good?
Speaker 4 (31:09):
You see the hair on my chest. You can never
get it to look like this.
Speaker 2 (31:16):
Oh, by the way, uh, North Carolina, the wind total
is seven and a half.
Speaker 1 (31:21):
Anybody cares about football. Jesus is fine.
Speaker 4 (31:31):
She is fine.
Speaker 3 (31:32):
Coach Belichick, you you didn't You didn't slack on your
your scouting report.
Speaker 5 (31:38):
You did not.
Speaker 3 (31:38):
Slack on your pre draft grade, and you certainly are
justified with taking her with the first overall pick in
your draft.
Speaker 1 (31:47):
Well done, coach, well done.
Speaker 3 (31:50):
You'll never be accused of not knowing how to recognize talent, sir.
Speaker 2 (31:58):

Of course it is Memorial Days where we remember our
fall in the veterans and heroes, but it also is
a day where we as Americans usually put a few
hot dogs on the barbie some burgers if you will.
By the way, did you guys watch the Widermobile five
hundred at the Indy five hundred Strack over the weekend?
Speaker 2 (33:58):
No? But I heard the the play by play call
Isaac long Crown played it on Saturday, and it's like
it's borderline inappropriate. But just you know, it was edited,
was very misleading.
Speaker 1 (34:19):
But I heard that it was an exciting event. Was
it slaw Dog? Who wanted it?
Speaker 3 (34:22):
Was?
Speaker 6 (34:22):
Indeed the Slaw Dog representing the Southeast. You know, they
had six different mobiles representing different regions of the country.
They had the Chili Dog or no, excuse me, the
Shy Dog from the Midwest, the New York dog from
the east, the Sonoran dog from the Southwest. I'm not
even sure what that means, chili dog from the south,
and the Seattle dog from the northwest slaw dog one
slow dog one.
Speaker 4 (34:43):
And I don't know why that even matters.
Speaker 6 (34:46):
Well, it matters because what kind of hot dog do
you like? Bar, What are you gonna be eating today
for Memorial Day?
Speaker 3 (34:51):
I don't know that we're going to be eating hot
dogs on Memorial Day.
Speaker 4 (34:55):
I'm not sure. I'm not sure what we're going to
do today.
Speaker 1 (35:00):
I'm a so I love Chicago dogs, but Chicago dogs
you don't do on the grill. You boil them.
Speaker 2 (35:06):
So you know, Mark nos at Chicago dogs you boil those, right, Mark, Absolutely, yeah,
you don't. You can't do it on the grill. Just
kind of takes away from the uh, from what's going
on there. Yeah, so if you, uh, we'll probably do
some burgers.
Speaker 4 (35:21):
I don't know, maybe hot water hot dogs.
Speaker 1 (35:24):
Yeah, boil, you gotta boil the hot dogs make the
Chicago do.
Speaker 3 (35:27):
I know how you do boiling hot dogs, but there's
it can't bro if you smoke shouts out to Tragg
or two. By the way, if you smoke hot dogs
at a low temperature for about an hour or two.
Speaker 4 (35:45):
Bruh, change your life, man, Wit.
Speaker 2 (35:47):
A second, you're gonna leave a hot dog in the
smoker for an hour?
Speaker 5 (35:51):
Yes?
Speaker 1 (35:52):
What are you trying to blow the place up?
Speaker 4 (35:54):
Try it?
Speaker 1 (35:55):
A hot dog takes an hour to smoke.
Speaker 6 (35:59):
Try it, really, I mean, I'll leave it on the grill,
or leave it at a low at a low smoker temperature.
Speaker 4 (36:07):
Try it.
Speaker 1 (36:07):
Hot thorgs cook fast, They're already cooked. Smoke them.
Speaker 4 (36:15):
Listen to what I'm saying, mate.
Speaker 1 (36:17):
Smoke them. Damn.
Speaker 3 (36:21):
Yeah, I did that with sausages. Pause and uh yeah
they came out really nice.
Speaker 4 (36:28):
Man.
Speaker 2 (36:29):
Yeah, we're gonna we'll fired up. We'll do something today.
I have a burger recipe that involves blue cheese crumbles
and mixed in the mixed in the burger.
Speaker 6 (36:40):
My favorite blue cheese trumble bacon burger. Black and blue.
Speaker 4 (36:44):
Okay, of course you like him black and blue.
Speaker 1 (36:47):
You know, yes you do? And then he ends up
black and blue.
Speaker 3 (36:52):
Hey, forty five minutes, forty forty five minutes at about
two hundred and twenty five degrees fahrenheit. I'm telling you, yeah,
it says forty five to an hour. I did an hour,
I did like an hour and ten hour and fifteen minutes.
I'm just telling you it is the flame.
Speaker 2 (37:14):
By the way, do you uh? Do you guys feel
the same about this when it comes to barbecues. If
you're gonna like whatever, if you drink a soda, if
you drink a beer, if you drink whatever, I mean
a beer, whatever it is, it it has to be
out of a cooler, right, like for a fourth of
July Labor Day.
Speaker 4 (37:30):
Better coming out of a cooler.
Speaker 1 (37:32):
What is it about?
Speaker 2 (37:33):
Is it something about like just reaching in, ripping it
from the clutches of the.
Speaker 1 (37:38):
Ice that has so like they're colder too, though, yeah
they are, they're colder.
Speaker 2 (37:42):
And there's just something about the can as you pull
it out of the as you pull.
Speaker 4 (37:47):
Out of the chips you eat them.
Speaker 6 (37:49):
No, but like the precipit, like you get a nice
frost on the outside of your beer, your candle.
Speaker 3 (37:53):
Young, I used to eat ice chips out of the ice,
out of the do not realize how freaking disgust.
Speaker 1 (38:01):
By the way, I think that's where COVID started.
Speaker 2 (38:03):
Oh god, it is so disgusting because everybody's grimy, smelly, dirty,
hands are reaching in there to grab it, and oh god, nasty.
What else you got on the dock in bare league? Well,
you know, I am a big sucker for going to
the movie theaters. And this was actually a record breaking
(38:24):
weekend for movie theaters, the most of any record.
Speaker 6 (38:27):
You know, they count the money for a four day weekend,
so it's kind of cheating.
Speaker 1 (38:30):
You count today what most geeks in one building at
one time?
Speaker 4 (38:33):
That is right, So Lelo and Stitch debut.
Speaker 6 (38:35):
It's got one hundred and eighty three million dollars estimated
including today. Mission Impossible had its best installment of the
franchise at seventy seven million dollars, So it was like
over two hundred and fifty million dollars two sixty domestically
for the Memorial Day weekend.
Speaker 4 (38:51):
That's pretty great. Good job for the movie theaters.
Speaker 1 (38:53):
Do you see either of those? I did see Mission Impossible.
Speaker 4 (38:55):
It was better than I thought it was going to
be us. I heard it was good.
Speaker 1 (38:58):
It was good.
Speaker 5 (38:58):
It was good.
Speaker 3 (38:59):
I see you know my god, I used to play
for the Cardinals.
Speaker 4 (39:03):
He went to go see it last night. He said
he liked it.
Speaker 6 (39:06):
So yeah, it's it's two hours, forty minute not.
Speaker 4 (39:08):
A Mission Impossible fan.
Speaker 6 (39:09):
I'm yeah, I'm not the biggest fan of the franchise.
It's I'd say it's in the top half of the
eight films they've put out there, probably the fourth best.
Speaker 1 (39:18):
They've done eight Mission Impossible.
Speaker 4 (39:20):
Bruh, what do you think you are?
Speaker 3 (39:21):
Fast and still running around, still jumping from top of
buildings onto lamp poles and onto helicopters and planes and
just running way, Tom Crews always running at home. Did
he run in this movie?
Speaker 4 (39:38):
Of course he did, of course he did.
Speaker 1 (39:40):
It's in the contract.
Speaker 6 (39:41):
Also flying from a from a plane, hanging off a plane, that's.
Speaker 1 (39:45):
In the contract as well.
Speaker 6 (39:46):
So yeah, I might go see Leland Stitch Live Action
and Happy Birthday to Dracula'straculas one hundred.
Speaker 3 (39:51):
Throws Birthday to Jonas's cousin. Happy birthday Dracula, Love you pops.
Speaker 4 (39:57):
Are your pops?
Speaker 2 (39:59):
Thanks Hey, thanks for thanks for the complexion, appreciate it.
Speaker 3 (40:04):
Then, I hope you let us cut back on your
show again. Man, have a great day, everybody.
