you feeling?

Speaker 5 (01:31):
How's everything going?

Speaker 4 (01:33):
Oh? Man, I'm feeling good, you know. I wake up,
open the blinds, I see nothing but clear skies and
palm trees. Damn, So I feel good. Man. I don't
know if it's like that where you at, but it's
like that over here.

Speaker 5 (01:47):
Baby.

Speaker 6 (01:49):
I say that it's bright outside, which is That's a win,
that's a plus. It's a little little frigid, a little cool,
cooler than.

Speaker 5 (01:57):
What I'd like, but it's all right. It's tolerable, so
I'm good with it.

Speaker 6 (02:01):
But I'll tell you what, speaking of a little frigid
and a little cool, Cowboys plays Dak Prescott on the
I R.

Speaker 5 (02:09):
TJ put them on ice.

Speaker 6 (02:11):
Effectively, possibly seeming as though there's a chance that he
could miss the.

Speaker 5 (02:16):
Season the rest of the way. But we'll stay positive
on that, i'd assume.

Speaker 6 (02:21):
But Michael Parsons still seems to be pretty high on
their their chances of being able to do well with
Rush in that quarterback.

Speaker 5 (02:30):
Here's what he had to say.

Speaker 7 (02:32):
I still believe we can make a run. You know,
I've seen what Cooper Rush can do. You know that's
that's a nice It's a good boy right there. You
know what I'm saying. He Cooper Rush got a lot
of talent. He won games for us by just doing
it basically just playing good football.

Speaker 1 (02:47):
So it's not like he can't do it. I got
full faith in him.

Speaker 7 (02:51):
We won four four out of five games with him,
So to have to understand or think that he couldn't
do that again, especially.

Speaker 1 (02:59):
Look at stretch he had when we did.

Speaker 7 (03:01):
We beat the Bengals, was a good team and you
know Jets, you know we be you know good.

Speaker 1 (03:07):
I had a good run Chorice there with Russia.

Speaker 7 (03:12):
I got full belief, you know, and you know, it
just so happens that, you know, when I'm coming back,
Dak isn't so uh.

Speaker 1 (03:18):
Maybe that's what God had intended.

Speaker 5 (03:22):
So I don't think that he is inaccurate with what
he's saying.

Speaker 6 (03:25):
They did have success with Cooper Rush, but this time around,
Cooper Rush isn't coming in as an unknown. Teams will
be prepared for what Cooper Rush brings to the table TJ.
I think the question that ultimately comes to mind where
this team currently sits is and what has been maybe
self proclaimed as an all in year for the Dallas Cowboys.

(03:46):
Does Dak Prescott going on the IR signify indicate that
this is indeed the end of the season for the
Dallas Cowboys or should there be hoped?

Speaker 5 (03:57):
Like Michael Parsons said, I.

Speaker 4 (03:59):
Mean, there's always hope, LeVar, I felt like if that
Prescott was playing, their season was on the brink regardless,
Like they're losing games with that Prescott and so what
makes us assume that, oh, he's playing, we still have
a chance. I mean, there's always hope. But I'll say this,

(04:20):
did Cooper Rush go four and one? Yes? Absolutely? So
Micah is correct and saying we have faith in Cooper
because when he played with Cooper Rush, all Cooper Rush
did was played well, he played he played good football.
So Micah should feel that way. But on the flip
side of it is this, when Cooper Rush was playing,
that defense was much better than it is now. They

(04:42):
had better players back then than they have now, and
so it's gonna be a little harder. Cooper should feel
very confident because the last time he played, like Micah said,
he won four out of five games. He went four
and one. But this stretch of teams that the Cows,

(05:03):
they say, Dak Prescott just went on I R. And
so when you go on IR, you you miss a
minimum of four games. And so this stretch that the
Cowboys are about, the player say, you know who they play.
We all know who they played this week. So they
got the Eagles, they got the Texans, they got the Commanders, Giants, Bengals,

(05:25):
and so that is not an easy stretch of games.
And we would say the Giants and the Bengals are
the two worst teams in that. But these next three games.

Speaker 6 (05:37):
Well, the Bengals, even in a losing gap for it,
looked pretty good. I mean, Joe Burrow looks pretty sharp.

Speaker 5 (05:43):
Man.

Speaker 6 (05:43):
He's playing some serious football that we just problem. We
need a better oh my god, this but that's another story.
And so Micah should have confidence in them.

Speaker 4 (05:57):
But this Dallas Cowboy team is nowhere near the team
that they were when Cooper Rush played last time. And
so I don't I don't know how. I don't think
they'll do well. I'm gonna say that I'm not gonna
straudle defense. I don't believe they'll do well because they
weren't doing well with that. They weren't doing well with
their starting quarterback. And I know people need to command

(06:22):
Michael Parsons. They really do, because this man has shown
he's one of the best players in the National Football
League and he doesn't have the contract extension. Not only that,
he wants that he's earned and he deserved. He deserves it,
and he's coming back to play after experiencing in high

(06:45):
ankle spring, which was your warning to like, whoa buddy,
shut it down, you may cost yourself. And so nobody
I've seen talk about that. Nobody's talking. We're football players
talking about it. It's a business. It's a business, and
they're approaching it. The Dallas Cowboys are for sure approaching
it like the business. Michael Parsons is approaching it like

(07:07):
we've always approached it. I'm a football player, I'm gonna
play football. He needs to be commended for putting himself
on the line knowing he's already serve a contract and
they don't want to get it to him.

Speaker 5 (07:19):
You know, uh huh, you know what I think it
is TJ.

Speaker 6 (07:22):
Honestly, we talk about culture all the time, and we
talk about environments that are conducive to having success. And
the one thing that I believe is the biggest missing
piece to this Dallas team from last.

Speaker 5 (07:35):
Year is Dan Quinn.

Speaker 6 (07:37):
And you look at what dan Quinn has been able
to do in such a short amount of time in
Washington and the amount of excitement that's being generated, you know,
in the nation's capital, It just it makes you wonder,
how did they miss read missfire on, you know, measuring
the value of dan Quinn and what he brought to

(07:57):
the table. No shade to zimmer and and what type
of coach he is, but whatever it is that if
factor that Dad Quinn brings to the table, I think
Mike McCarthy is a dope coach, right.

Speaker 5 (08:10):
I think if.

Speaker 6 (08:11):
Mike McCarthy is in the play calling position and he's
calling the plays and that's all he's really managing is
being the head coach, delegating and calling the plays, while
you have someone like Dan Quinn who's going to do
the dirty work and keep the players in pocket, keep
the players both offensively and even on special teams as

(08:31):
well defensively, keep guys holding them accountable, you know, maintaining
that collective balance TJ. I think that that's what's missing.
And I feel like you can tell. You can tell
by the way the environment is just a very very
different type of environment, just from a glance, like just
seeing how they interact on the sidelines, to you know,

(08:54):
the reports that are coming out. It's just it went
from what would be perceived and consider to be like
a positive outlook last year on a lot of the
things that were going on, even though controversial at times,
nonetheless still a positive outlook, and this year just seems
really really doom and gloom at every single turn when

(09:15):
something doesn't go the way that is supposed to go.

Speaker 5 (09:18):
I think it's Dan Quinn TJ.

Speaker 4 (09:21):
Yes, you know, I actually played under Dan Quinn my
only year in Seattle, and I obviously played under Mike
Zimmer in Cincinnati, and the personalities of both men couldn't
be any different. Man couldn't be any different. Like Dan

(09:42):
is he's walking around practice, he's always smiling, he's always happy,
he's always joking. He just has always a positive energy
about him. Zim is always like as a style on
his face, ready to challenge you about any and everything,

(10:03):
and maybe that personality change and switch from coaches, because
Zim is actually super cool, but he has that look
on his face where you don't even know if you
want to approach him at times, and so maybe it
could be one of those things where when they're installing something,

(10:24):
that guy may not have a full understanding, but they
don't want to say nothing to Zim, whereas Quinn, he
just seems like he's far more approachable, and so that
could be the case. I don't know what it is,
but the drop off defensive is exactly what you said.
This is the reason the Cowboys aren't playing the way

(10:46):
they played last year. It's the drop off on defense. Yes,
and the only change they really made was from Quinn
to Zimmer. Yeah, players come and go, but the meat
and potatoes of that defense or the same. Their best
players are still there from last year, still there, and
so you obviously the system changed, but it's the personality

(11:09):
of the coaches and you know this LeVar from playing man.
Something may be installed and everybody may not have a
grasp of it. Just like we're in elementary school, right
Somebody doesn't know what to do, but they don't want
to raise their hand and look like a dummy. So
they all act like they know what to do, hoping

(11:30):
somebody else raises their hands. So now whatever's been installed,
it's like, I'm lost on this, but I don't want
to raise my hand and feel like a dummy. And
so it's that confusion, and then when it pops up
in the game, if you didn't understand it in practice,
you damn sure not going to understand in the game
because things are moving faster, and so it could be

(11:52):
they don't understand what's going on. Things need to be
simplified to where I don't care if you know what
we're doing. We know what we're doing, and we know
everything you're gonna try to do to counter what we're doing.
But the defensive drop off is the biggest reason the
Cowboys are in the position that they're in. And it's
not gonna help that Dak is out. It's not gonna
help that they're playing the Eagles team that has seemed

(12:14):
to find their footing. Yeah, season's over, bro.

Speaker 6 (12:18):
Dang, that's TJ. Hushman's outa I'm LeVar Arrington. This is
up on games Fox Sports Radio. We're gonna take a
quick break and speaking of finding their footing.

Speaker 5 (12:29):
Is the footing all the way?

Speaker 4 (12:30):
Good?

Speaker 5 (12:31):
TJ. I don't know.

Speaker 6 (12:32):
Nick Siriani had some interesting words to say. Did he
mess up?

Speaker 5 (12:36):
Was there a slip up?

Speaker 6 (12:37):
We'll talk about it on the other side of this break.
All right, It is up on Game Fox Sports Radio.

Speaker 2 (12:43):
Fox Sports Radio has the best sports talk lineup in
the nation. Catch all of our shows at foxsports Radio

Speaker 5 (12:54):
All right, all right, welcome back in. This is up
on Game.

Speaker 6 (12:57):
We're live from the tirag dot com. It's TJ Husmazada.
I'm LeVar Arrington. Plexico is off this morning. I'm sorry,
we're rocking out. Got a whole lot of things to
talk to and about. Let's give it about twenty minutes
or so. We will be touching on trade deadline, and
I'm interested to hear what TJ feels about winners and losers.

(13:22):
So we'll get to that in about twenty minutes. But
right now, TJ, you know, we got a head coach
and Nick Sirianni.

Speaker 5 (13:29):
He's been a lightning rod for a.

Speaker 6 (13:31):
Lot of topics in the media, a lot stemming from
maybe how he personally tends to handle things as it
applies to being a coach versus being a personality.

Speaker 5 (13:45):
The latest in things that may.

Speaker 6 (13:47):
Have taken places, did Nick Sirianni slip up and accidentally
reveal something about Jalen Hurts and an injured ankle?

Speaker 5 (13:56):
Take a listen, you judge for yourself.

Speaker 8 (13:59):
You know, dealing with it was on the injury report,
dealing with that with the ankle and just making sure
we're pre cautious with everything.

Speaker 1 (14:09):
I'm sorry with a what's that was the rest?

Speaker 4 (14:14):
Yeah?

Speaker 1 (14:14):
Yeah, sorry, I know you're talking about something else with
an ankle from.

Speaker 4 (14:20):
I'll rest.

Speaker 6 (14:23):
Uh TJ sounds like a slip up to me, my guy,
So Jalen Hurts seemingly maybe dealing with you know, unofficially
or you know, uh air quotes unconfirmed, not confirmed, maybe
dealing with a sore ankle. What's your take on this one?

Speaker 4 (14:42):
I mean, Mannix Syriane just a different dude, bro, It
really is that's the case, because we all know this
man prior, just for the people that are listening, the
viewers that are listening prior to these press conferences, he
sits down, or even if he doesn't sit down, they're

(15:04):
standing and the head trainer is telling him, Okay, you're
the PR people, not that the head training that the
PR people on the team are telling them, Okay, they're
gonna ask you about Jalen. Yeah, it's just he got
arrest at you or they're gonna ask you about Jailen.
He has a mild ankle injury, whatever it is, and

(15:25):
so for him to slip up is just it makes
no sense because you are briefed on that before you
go do the interview. You're briefed on Yeah, and you know,
one thousand percent when they see Jalen Hurts not practicing,
that's gonna be the first question that is asked. The
PR people know it, So you're gonna be briefed on

(15:47):
why is Jalen Hurts not practicing? Uh? Yeah, you know
lo ankle? Oh yeah yeah it was rest. So yeah,
I thought you was talking about somebody else, Like, I
don't understand how you make those mistakes. But right, I
will say this, he gets a lot of flak for
things like this, but he actually is a good coach man.
The Eagles have done nothing but win since he's been there.

(16:07):
They've been the playoffs several years, They've done nothing but win,
and so the little personality quirks, you may not like them,
but he's doing a good job with the Eagles. Yeah.
They have a lot of talent, they have a you know,
a ton of good players, a ton of good players
who make a ton of money, and they're winning. We've

(16:27):
seen teams like that that haven't won. And so I'm
not gonna discredit him because of his personality. His personality
may not be what we want or what we like,
but he's winning games.

Speaker 5 (16:40):
Yeah, I found it to be. It was an interesting
slip up.

Speaker 6 (16:45):
I mean, like you said, generally speaking, coaches are pretty
insulated in information that they're going to divulge or or
not the vulge to the general public.

Speaker 5 (16:59):
He had a moment. I don't know what that moment.

Speaker 6 (17:01):
Was that he was thinking, but it does give light
to the fact that.

Speaker 5 (17:06):
Maybe Jalen Hurst is dealing with nursing an ankle.

Speaker 6 (17:10):
First thing I thought about when I heard this was
this team began to suffer every single time Jalen Hurts
started dealing with physical injuries. If my memory serves me correctly,
the year before and last year, the Philadelphia Eagles started
a slow fall from being dominant and even making it

(17:35):
to the Super Bowl. I just think that this was
a different team every single time Jalen Hurst was dealing
with some type of ailment and injury, and it was
generally a lower body injury. So that's the first thing
I wonder is with them seemingly finding their way back
to being successful again TJ and getting aj Brown back

(17:58):
and getting the J back, it seems like they're with
Sae Kwon playing the way that he's playing, this team
has really really found its balance. They're playing good on defense.
It seems like this is a balanced team, a solid team.
But if what I heard is correct, TJ just comes

(18:20):
off to me as this team is a compromised team.

Speaker 5 (18:24):
No matter how much talent they had.

Speaker 6 (18:25):
If Jalen Hurts isn't able to be Jalen Hurts when
he's out there on the field.

Speaker 4 (18:30):
Oh thought, they'll be somewhat compromised. But at the end
of the day, man Jalen Hurts, in my opinion, is
he's gonna be fine. Like a mild ankle injury, like
that's minor, Like there's nothing wrong with his arm. It's
not a high ankle. Spring were good to go and

(18:52):
That's how you got to look at it. Because the
Eagles now are fighting for the number one seed in
the NF and so Jalen Hurts has shown us I'll
tough it out. Now, you know, it may not be ideal,
but I'll get out there and and man up and
tough out these injuries if I have an opportunity to play.

(19:13):
It's just Nick Surry. It's just his personality is so different.
People don't like to like him.

Speaker 6 (19:20):
People don't want to like him, and I think that
creates a lot of pressure for him, and it creates
a lot of pressure for this team because the way
he handles things, it just seems to be like a
little abrasive and maybe more so of a turnoff to
some of the people that are, you know, spectating what
he's got going on.

Speaker 4 (19:40):
It's exactly that they don't want to like him any
and everything that he does is gonna be micro managed
under a microscope because of what you just said. And
it all started when he first got hired to the Eagles.
It all started there, and so it kind of rubbed
people the wrong way. But he didn't do the normal

(20:01):
coach interview. It was just a little different. But it
was also Dan Campbell's was a little different, and now
Dan Campbell is winning and they kind of backed off.
But for some reason, for some reason, when Nick Sirianni,
he's winning and he's not getting that same leeway. But
it could quite possibly be because in the offseason everybody

(20:25):
talked about the disconnect that he had with Jaden Hurts.
Nobody has ever talked about any disconnect with Dan Campbell
in any of his.

Speaker 5 (20:38):
Did we lose TJ?

Speaker 6 (20:40):
All right, well here's what we'll do. Let's try to
get TJ back.

Speaker 5 (20:46):
Listen.

Speaker 6 (20:46):
I think we all know and have an idea that
with the Nick Sirianni situation, that's going to be an
ongoing deal from week to week. If the team is
winning and doing well, it's really not much people can
say about how they feel about it. Personality, when you're winning,
that just takes precedents over everything else. But Nick SIRIANISTJ
mentioned does have his own unique way of handling things,

(21:09):
and it's going to be interesting to see because in
a lot of ways that mentality is very Philly like
as well. He's gritty, he's pretty straightforward, he's candid, he's
very open about his feelings and he's fiery, So it's
pretty interesting to see that somebody who brings that grit
to the table as a coach can be a little
bit abrasive or offensive to others. But again, we'll see

(21:31):
how that all continues to play out, and it also
be interesting the track is Jalen Hurts indeed injured and
if so, how significant is that injury to the Eagles quarterback.

Speaker 5 (21:43):
Let's get an update from Isaac Lohnkrawn.

Speaker 6 (21:46):
On the other side of this break, we will talk
about well cemac He's coming back for the Niners in
time for Tampa Bay game.

Speaker 5 (21:54):
But first, what you got I.

Speaker 8 (21:56):
Low perfect timing, LeVar, because number two Ohio State has
just gotten into the end zone to take a seven
to nothing lead over Purdue with six or two left
in the first quarter. They had a fourth and goal
from the one went forward and Will Howard took it
in over the goal line elsewhere. Number four Miami tied
at seven at Georgia Tech with eight thirty five in
counting for the first quarter. Fifth ranked Texas has just

(22:19):
taken a seven to nothing lead over Florida with three
forty three left in the first quarter on a twenty
nine yard touchdown pass from Quinn Eewers to Matthew Golden
in the NFL. Miami Dolphins head coach Mike McDaniel told
reporters a short time ago the Tyreek Hill is dealing
with a wrist injury. McDaniel said, the injury is heating
up and they want to let it cool down. That
he's doing everything possible to play on Monday night football

(22:40):
against the Rams, and they'll see how the injury responds. Now,
LeVar officiating is once again in the spotlight, wouldn't you
say after those controversial miss calls.

Speaker 3 (22:52):
Late on Thursday night football against the Ravens and Megals,
We'll get this.

Speaker 8 (22:56):
Lasick is offering free Lasick eye surgery for for all
the reps in all North American Major League sports. The
company says the offer is quote because well you may
need it and we believe.

Speaker 3 (23:13):
In elevating your game unquote.

Speaker 5 (23:16):
That's finally, really good.

Speaker 3 (23:18):
Finally LeVar is speaking of really good.

Speaker 8 (23:19):
How about this from the world of college basketball. Yesterday,
a charter flight carrying the Auburn men's basketball team to
a road game it had to turn back because players
got into a fight while the plane was in the air.
For the first time in Fox Sports radio history. LeVar
here is air traffic control play by play Listen, Oh uh,

(23:43):
I've got.

Speaker 9 (23:43):
An altercation on board. We talked to the player Demotacy
and Lanaka. We got a bunch of basketball players, five
secure splat level capain for the moment which you had.
We all police on the ground and the wins. Two
players that got it to fall for taking closer rib
and one bless and uh it's been a funny sick

(24:06):
that he wants. It's kind of crazy.

Speaker 3 (24:08):
It's kind of crazy over LeVar.

Speaker 8 (24:10):
I'll bet nothing like that ever happened on any charter
planes that you were a passenger on during your career.

Speaker 6 (24:17):
Back to you, you know, thank you, I appreciate it,
and thanks to Bow and Chris everybody that makes it
work for the show.

Speaker 5 (24:24):
Uh TJ.

Speaker 6 (24:26):
I don't ever recall there being any brawls post postgame
on on the chartered flight.

Speaker 5 (24:33):
Have you have you ever experienced that?

Speaker 4 (24:35):
No, Man, them dudes just tripping bro Like number one,
you're on the same team, You're gonna have some arcues,
but we in the air and you really gonna fight.

Speaker 6 (24:45):
They was thumping hard enough where that LeVar Hannikin.

Speaker 4 (24:49):
These dudes don't even play, bro, They reserves like, Man,
y'all ain't going I'm putting y'all off the team. Man,
get out of here, like no, it was one time.
I ain't gonna lie to you now. I alled for
you before I lie till you check this out. So
I was playing with the Raiders man, and you know
on the planes, man, uh, you might you might be

(25:10):
shooting some dice. You might be playing some boo ray uh.
And so we're playing bou ray. It was on the
back of the plane gambling and guys start getting mad
because you know, dudes be losing for them. I'm talking
you know, I boo ray you got if you don't
get a book, you got to match the pot. So
sometimes those pots get twenty thirty, forty thousand dollars.

Speaker 5 (25:33):
Yeah.

Speaker 4 (25:33):
Sure, and I'll never forget it. Man. You remember Big
John Henderson absolutely, So John Henderson start getting into it
with another d line and I could not remember the name.
But they was just verbally like going at it. You know.
They wasn't like tussling, but they was. They had stood
up and I'm like, nah, nah, bro, these two big
dudes about to put a hole in the plane and

(25:54):
we in the air. Nah and uh, Richard Seymour got
up and like kind of calmed them both down. But
that was the closest I've ever seen a fight about
to happen on a plane in the air. But see
these two dudes that was getting into it. They starters
like the Auburn basketball players. I read they reserved, y'all

(26:16):
not even man. Listen, man, y'all, y'all ain't traveling no more.

Speaker 5 (26:20):
Like you think? Do you think it was over basketball?
Or was it over a girl?

Speaker 4 (26:26):
What do you think?

Speaker 5 (26:28):
Usually when cats thump like that?

Speaker 4 (26:30):
College college college students, I'm gonna say, it's over one
of two things. Man, it's over some money or it's
over a woman. It's one of the two. It's one
of the two. And because of that, uh, y'all ain't
coming no more. Man, y'all, y'all pause, You guys are
no longer what.

Speaker 5 (26:51):
Like?

Speaker 4 (26:52):
You know how inconvenient that is.

Speaker 5 (26:54):
You're need to read in a minute job, don't even
worry about it.

Speaker 4 (26:57):
And I've never had a blue chat. Might need to
try one of them things, but today you.

Speaker 5 (27:00):
Might need to serious.

Speaker 4 (27:02):
Well, you know what's crazy is the inconvenience for the
other players, the coaches. You you flying to Houston and
get ready to play great Kevin Sampson coach team, and
now you have to go back Like that's just such
an inconvenience to everybody else that's getting in that mental
headspace to go play a game like it's such an inconvenience.

(27:25):
And so if I'm the coach, I don't know if
them dudes are going to be flying with us moving forward.

Speaker 6 (27:33):
Yeah, I can't. I can't see how somebody who would
cause cause you got to assume that there's going to
be you know, repercussions beyond what took place that day.

Speaker 5 (27:43):
How does that look for.

Speaker 6 (27:44):
You know, Auburn and their program being able to charter flights?

Speaker 5 (27:48):
You know, just what's the fallout?

Speaker 6 (27:50):
What are their charges that a so and so forth
just a headache for no reason.

Speaker 5 (27:54):
I'm sure whatever.

Speaker 6 (27:55):
It was that they was, they were you know, disagreeing
about could have been handled in such a different manner.

Speaker 5 (28:01):
Than what they did.

Speaker 6 (28:02):
But they chose balance and sometimes that's what you know,
cats do. Sounds like a real immature moment. That may
be a constantly immature moment for uh, this obur basketball team,
but what you got, because I could imagine them getting

(28:22):
into like a discussion of debate, a heated discussion, and
one of them makes.

Speaker 4 (28:28):
A comment about the other one's shiit that he messing with,
and that kind of just I could just imagine easy
his little lady. He probably made that comment and probably
just pissed Buddy off, and he didn't care where they
were at.

Speaker 5 (28:44):
Charge. Bruh.

Speaker 6 (28:45):
If it gets you charged up enough to do that
where you know there's not going to be a good
end result, that's that's my whole I mean, hopefully you
know there's no way that can end well, whole way.

Speaker 4 (28:56):
It's an associate and not anyone's girlfriend. If it is
a woman, hopefully it's an associate, a friend. I'm not
your girlfriend.

Speaker 5 (29:06):
I think it's a girl.

Speaker 6 (29:07):
And I think that is one of those things where.

Speaker 5 (29:10):
It cuts so deep, it cuts so deep that it
was I choose valance in this moment. I choose valance.

Speaker 6 (29:19):
I don't think gambling in a team setting and in
a team environment could ever get that real. I think
guys get upset, they get disappointed. They may fight and
argue in terms of thinking that somebody's cheating or not playing.

Speaker 5 (29:33):
By the rules. But I've never seen and I've seen
some really.

Speaker 6 (29:37):
Heated conversations over gambling, I've never seen it erupt into
anything that would be anything more than just trash talk
about the situation for it to get as physical as
it did.

Speaker 5 (29:50):
Something popped off, man, something popped off.

Speaker 6 (29:52):
And speaking of popping off, your boy, Christian mc McCaffrey,
he's coming back just in time enough to play against
this Tampa Bay team who seems to be a pretty
decent team, even though their record would not suggest to that.

Speaker 5 (30:06):
Four and five, But this.

Speaker 6 (30:07):
This this Niners team is a pretty intriguing team, uh TJ.
They are sitting right at five hundred, at four and four,
and seemingly they're they're they're real. Their season just like
we talked about with Dallas, their season is on the
line as well. How big is this game against Tampa
Bay and how big is it to have Christian McCaffrey

(30:30):
coming back.

Speaker 4 (30:32):
Just his presence, man in that huddle, it's gonna mean
a lot to the rest of the players on offense.
For sure, would be a out for the season obviously
with a torn a c L. Just his presence that
you seem in a huddle you kind of get that
sense of relief that we have a playmaker that we
really need. I believe the Niners are they about to

(30:54):
go on a run. They they they about to go
on to run. They're not at full strength because of BA,
but they're as close as they gonna get. And the
Bucks have played a lot of good teams close. They
battled with Kansas City down to the wire. They lost
some close games. But this Niner team, if you ask

(31:17):
me if if they still have Super Bowl aspirations, which
I believe they do, they about to go on the
run and they're gonna and the Bucks are gonna be
made an example of of what many thoughts, Oh wow,
the forty nine ers were going to be when the
season started. That's what I forecast. McCaffrey gonna come back.

(31:39):
He's gonna be energized. He's gonna be energy to that offense,
which in turn will bring that energy to the defense.
I believe this may be the best game we see
the Niners playoff season up to this point.

Speaker 6 (31:50):
Oh wow, you know, I could see that logic. I
can buy into that logic. I just think that this
Tampa team is a good team even without their two.

Speaker 5 (32:03):
Receivers, you know what I mean.

Speaker 6 (32:05):
And so to me, when when you look at this
shorthanded team, they're they're clearly not as good as they
have been, but they're not They're not a bad enough
team where I sit there and say that they're gonna
get you know, totally like ran through by the Niners.

Speaker 5 (32:24):
I think it's gonna be a good game. I think
it's gonna be a competitive game.

Speaker 6 (32:27):
I will say this while I don't know how it's
going to turn out, because these are both four win teams.
I'm really not ready to say that that the Niners
can turn the corner, just turn the corner because Cemac
is back. I'm not willing to say that the Tampa
Bay Buccaneers are actually good enough where they can actually
hold this team off. And what I would consider for

(32:49):
both of these teams TJ must win situation.

Speaker 5 (32:53):
But we'll wait and see.

Speaker 6 (32:54):
How it all plays out, and we'll see who's able.

Speaker 5 (32:58):
To do what they gotta do.

Speaker 6 (32:59):
Sam Fran does have to travel to Tampa to play
this game, so there's always that you're leaving from the
East coast to the from the west coast to the
East coast time change, but the weather should be good
for them, so we'll see how it all plays out.

Speaker 5 (33:15):
This is up on Game. That's t J.

Speaker 6 (33:17):
Huschmazada, Al LaVar Arrington Pletcheco Burst is out on the
other side of the break. To end out the hour,
we're gonna talk a little trade deadline, winners, losers. What
we're TJ stots, What were my thoughts on what took
place with the dread that that trade deadline coming and
going up on Game? Fox Sports Radio will be right

(33:39):

today's show.

Speaker 5 (34:06):
Post it right after we get out the air. TJ.

Speaker 6 (34:09):
Hitchman, Zada, The trade deadline has come and gone. Who
was your winners? Who were your losers? I got a winner,
I got a loser?

Speaker 4 (34:18):
Who you got?

Speaker 9 (34:20):
I like?

Speaker 4 (34:20):
What the Steelers? What the Steelers did man getting Mike
Williams another receiver obviously, George Pickings. Russell Wilson is a
really good deep ball thrower. Mike Williams does a really
good job attacking the deep ball. And then you add
Press Smith to rust a passer from the Packers. They

(34:42):
went in got what The Steelers are already gonna be
strong on defenses, so that play action run game, but
specifically getting Mike Williams. I think the Steelers did a
really good job at the trade deadline. I mean, I
also like the Detroit Lions getting deserted from the Cleveland Browns.

(35:04):
That move is underrated because he's gonna get pressure on
the quarterback just off sheer will and strength and so
losing eight and Hutchison, So for me, those two moves
are what I like. But you know the lines since
they lost such they've been rolling and so and z
Smith is only gonna make them better.

Speaker 5 (35:25):
Yeah. I like the corner from from the Saints going to.

Speaker 4 (35:31):
Oh my god, Marsha and Latimary.

Speaker 6 (35:33):
Yeah yeah, I love that pick up for them. It's
only going to bolster defense that dan Quinn has transformed
in a year's time. They're getting pressure on the quarterback.
Now to add another guy that brings the type of
coverage that he brings Lattimore, that.

Speaker 5 (35:49):
Is to the to the to the table is.

Speaker 6 (35:52):
I believe an amazing pickup for the Commanders. And the
other one I think that's gonna pay some serious dividends
is Deon Hopkins. You know, a lot of people is
thinking that he's two paced out of the two. It's
a rap, like he's washed. All he did was go
out there and show that he's still de hopped and
he still got those hands and he can still get

(36:14):
it done.

Speaker 5 (36:14):
I think he could be a dangerous, dangerous.

Speaker 6 (36:17):
Addition to this Kansas City offense, especially if they can
get the rest of that receiver's corps healthy and up
on their feet and ready to go, so that that
could be a pretty interesting determiner for Kansas City moving forward.

Speaker 5 (36:32):
Now we'll say this, we talked about him earlier at
the top of the show.

Speaker 6 (36:36):
I gotta go with Dallas as my loser in the
free agency deal. They did absolutely nothing to make their
team better.

Speaker 5 (36:46):
They needed a receiver, they may have needed a player
or two on defense.

Speaker 6 (36:52):
Heck, they probably need to figure out if they can
get a running back in there that can give them
some more production than what they're getting right now. I
thought that Dallas doing nothing, sitting on their hands and
not bringing anyone in was a big miss for them.

Speaker 4 (37:08):
I mean, the cow they all in, man, that's what
they said. They were all in. Even still, man, what
are the Cowboys gonna bring in that's gonna help them?
Bar what they gonna bring in that's gonna help you
a a new owner? So like, I honestly felt like
the Cowboys probably should have tried to trade some guys

(37:32):
to get assets for next year. This season looks like
it's gonna be a washingt. So the Cowboys not acquiring anybody,
I don't mind that because it doesn't look like they're
going anywhere this season.

Speaker 6 (37:44):
Yeah, still a loss of your ass me now.

Speaker 4 (37:48):
I mean, if you're a Cowboy fan, if your guys
on the team, you want to see that commitment to winning.
But ultimately, the Cowboy, especially with Dak Press got out
yet we talked about this, Cooper. The season is probably over.
The Cowboys will be in a prime position to quite
possibly get a high draft pick. That's where they need

(38:12):
because very rarely, you know, they get Michael Parsons, they
fairly high, but the Cowboys are rarely in a position
where they're gonna draft high. They got a chance to
get in the top ten they get they need to
draft the impact player and or traded and acquire more
picks because the Dallas Cowboys need players. They're not just
a player or two away. They need players plural.

Speaker 6 (38:32):
Okay, makes you wonder how you called this all in
season when you need players plural. But it'll be interesting
to see if they're able to have some success. How
will that be perceived if Rush gets in there and
have success in the absence of Dak Prescott and can
Michael Parsons really be the catalyst on this defense that

(38:53):
has been struggling since he's went out with the energury.
So we'll continue to talk about those things. This is
up on games Fox Sports Radio. We won't to take
a quick break and then we'll be right back hour two,
coming at you.

Speaker 5 (39:05):
We got cuffs the Legend. Stay tuned.
