It's up one game, yeah, TJ. Huschmanzada is plux Coe Burst,
I'm LeVar Arrington. We will have cuffs the legend in
our two and you know what we have now and
(01:06):
all the time. We have some Louisiana Hot sauce, still
original Louisiana Hot sauce, perfect balance, of peppers, vinegar, and salt.
Speaker 4 (01:14):
Put it on your wings, your nachos, your.
Speaker 3 (01:16):
Burgers, hit any tailgate food with that bold, handcrafted flavor
of the original Louisiana hot sauce. That's Louisiana. I make
sure you buy you some. We got a whole lot
of topics to get here, get to here, not a
whole lot of time.
Speaker 4 (01:29):
We got Notre Dame.
Speaker 3 (01:30):
We'll talk a little Notre Dame because well we have
a Notre Dame dad that is on the show. We'll
we'll talk a little Michigan. We got a Michigan spartan
is not a wolverine. Well, we got a spartan. It'd
be interesting to hear the take on what's what's the
latest with that? And uh, well, we got a few
more topics that that we're going to get to. But
(01:53):
let's start here, you know, let's let's start where we
always start. How y'all feeling, man, how's everything going? How's
how how's the body feeling? How how's the family? How's
everybody doing?
Speaker 4 (02:03):
Man?
Speaker 5 (02:05):
Well, man, listen, the body feeling pretty good. You know,
little little nicks and bruises. But this weather LeVar, that
just that just changed yesterday. Yeah, I don't like this.
I can't you can't even see.
Speaker 3 (02:18):
I couldn't say anything one one one in front of me. Visibility,
I don't see anything.
Speaker 5 (02:25):
I can't see anything like this type of weather makes
me want to stay in the house. This we got
We had the state championship today, so we got a
football game to play.
Speaker 4 (02:35):
Last one another year. Congra, good luck, good luck.
Speaker 5 (02:40):
Yeah, it should be a fun when you know we're
playing heraldic program with a ton of history, so that
that should be a good challenge.
Speaker 4 (02:47):
What's the name? What's the team? We're playing? Daylights out?
Speaker 3 (02:51):
Okay, like the daylights ould like staying all day's out
like Williams.
Speaker 5 (02:56):
And them DJ Williams and Reeice Jones drew daylights Out
camp over in daylight sound yeah, yeah.
Speaker 4 (03:02):
Okay, yeah, we got some for him. Okay, we got
something for him.
Speaker 3 (03:07):
I'm sure the weather is probably better than than Plexico's
weather where he Yeah, yeah, really outside today, I mean
it's just a little foggy here.
Speaker 6 (03:17):
I mean, but you got well, you might as well
say it's because we use a term in the Northeast
it is brick side. That means if you ain't got
to be outside, just remain in the house on a
recliner and just uh stay warm man. That's all I
really can tell you. But other than that, you know,
(03:39):
business as usual for us. And we're supposed to get
some snow today tomorrow, so we'll see how the weekend
is going to go. So it's that time of the
year for us that makes me not want to complain.
I'm sorry, y'all, where are you come win?
Speaker 3 (03:52):
This want to make you not want to complain too?
And talking about brick, it's brick and and arbor Michigan,
it's brick for Michigan. Former Michigan head coach Sharon More. Obviously,
we have heard about everything that has been taking place
(04:12):
during the course of the time that it unfolded and
took place. Obviously a lot of people had a lot
of different opinions before all of the details kind of
have you know emerged Now since the arrangment has taken place,
bo you have do you have the highlights of yes,
what came from the arrayment? The information? What was the
(04:34):
information that was given in terms of why he was
arrested and why he was arranged?
Speaker 7 (04:38):
Yeah, So this all started on Wednesday when Michigan fired
shron More for with cause. He then went to the
house of this person. After that he was arrested and
then he was arraigned. He was charged with third degree felony,
home invasion, misdemeanor, stocking, and breaking and entering. He reportedly
(05:00):
obviously he engaged in an inappropriate relationship with this staff
member and then uh reportedly he told her that I'm
going to kill myself. I'm going to make you watch
you ruin my life. My blood is on your hands.
Speaker 4 (05:10):
And I went.
Speaker 3 (05:11):
To the drawers and likes scissors and two butter knives,
so he wanted it to be painful too. He he
wanted her to see his suffering as he was trying
to take himself to to the next uh outer level of.
Speaker 4 (05:26):
Where you go when when you know you oof yourself.
Speaker 3 (05:30):
Butter knives and scissors sound like a crash out to me. Fellas, Listen,
there's side pieces, you know, doing doing things you know,
outside of what you got going on. It's it's not
a new topic. It's not a unique topic, you know.
Obviously the conversations have have come up and have been
(05:54):
discussed in terms of how to feel about Sharon More.
I know there was a report of ledge. I don't
know if it's confirmed or not that.
Speaker 4 (06:02):
He door dashed or uber uber eats.
Speaker 3 (06:06):
The Plan B to the crib like, hey, get this
Plan B going whatever, alleged pregnancy whatever, and maybe that's
what that's what created the you know, it got out,
you know, but there's been a lot of people saying
that they heard there were things going on as well.
So again, when things like these happened, you know, the
(06:26):
first thing people started doing was comparing the Mail Tucker situation.
The second thing, you know, obviously from saying Mail Tucker
and now Sharon Moore, a lot of people wanted to
make it a black white issue, you know, and get
out from under the contract a plant paying a black
man his millions of dollars. Well, I believe it was
(06:47):
like fifteen million or something like that that he's now
not going to get. I think I could be off
on that that figure. But hey, after daring.
Speaker 5 (06:55):
Everything, that peanuts compared to what everybody else's been getting paid,
ain't it?
Speaker 3 (06:58):
Yeah, no doubt, no doubt. What what's y'alls take on it?
Speaker 4 (07:02):
Man?
Speaker 3 (07:02):
Like, what was y'all's first you know, impressions of once
you got the information of of you know how you
you know, internalized this? What's what's the deal? I know
you be on the your that that podcast with with
with Buddies. I'm I'm I'm blanking on it, but but
I know y'all discussed it. I don't know if you
were on that episode, but I saw Shady and and uh,
(07:23):
you know Avocado they were touching on the topic. What
what what's y'all's take on it?
Speaker 4 (07:31):
Man? Gosh, this this is crazy? All right?
Speaker 5 (07:39):
Listen, listen, man, this is my thing. And i had
a take on it to LeVar and I'm not gonna
go as crazy as I did when my other take,
but my my opinion is still remains, it still remains
the same.
Speaker 4 (07:54):
It's simple, man like.
Speaker 5 (07:56):
And I said what I said because I don't feel
so sorry for Sharon Moore. I don't because you're a
grown man. You knew exactly what you were doing. And
I do feel sorry for his children because they air innocentness.
We don't choose our parents. I have a lot of
empathy for his children, Sharon Moore and Bo correct me
(08:20):
if I'm wrong what I'm about to say.
Speaker 4 (08:24):
Did he fire her from her job?
Speaker 5 (08:28):
Because I read that yesterday he fired her.
Speaker 3 (08:34):
So rule number one, he created the position he who
giveth can take it away? I would have well, I
read I read yesterday LeVar he fired her. Okay, bro, Like,
you know they questioned you about having an affair and
you know you're not supposed to do that with a staffer.
Speaker 5 (08:52):
Bro, are you serious You're really gonna go fire her?
And then I'm gonna give everybody free game. That's listened
because we all played football, we all played football for
a very long time.
Speaker 4 (09:03):
This is common, guys.
Speaker 5 (09:05):
What Sharon Morris doing is very common guys. And he
had going on, no, this is common. But I'm gonna
tell you what is uncommon. You can't fire them.
Speaker 4 (09:18):
And if you do them, what did you say? What
you say?
Speaker 3 (09:26):
You said you got some real game back in the day.
They said, you don't pay him to get the mistake.
Speaker 4 (09:32):
You don't. Hey, hey, you ain't paying for none of that.
You pay him to leave.
Speaker 5 (09:37):
That's what the dude one of the I'm like, because
you're not from California. So then you get to the league,
you start being these dudes from the South and and
I'm like, bro, y'all really be tricking on them like that?
Speaker 4 (09:47):
Mate?
Speaker 5 (09:48):
R I ain't never tricked on nobody. I don't pay
for nothing. I pay for him to leave. And I
was like, oh when he said that, that was an
eye opener.
Speaker 4 (09:58):
It made sense.
Speaker 5 (10:00):
Yep, if you're gonna fire her, let me just get
y'all some free game out there, coaches that are listening.
If you choose to fire her, you need to give
her a severage package with your money you give her.
Speaker 6 (10:15):
It's just so much up to impact unpacked with this situation.
Speaker 4 (10:19):
Man.
Speaker 6 (10:19):
When I first heard it, I was like, wow, you know,
it's not the first time that's something that like this
has transpired on any coaching level. And it just seems
like as the days kept going that the story kept
getting worse, and it just seemed that, you know, the
man's whole life basically just came cumbling down in like
(10:41):
twenty four hours. And you're hearing all these things that
are coming out. And just like TJ said, they had
questioned him and this staff, were they in a relationship.
There was like no way, no, how so they lied
about it. So somebody knew that this was happening, you know,
under the roof, But uh, hey, man, it's just some
(11:01):
unfortunate foot She deceives wrong, take to die that he
just did and what he's dealing with, because they are
all going to be some consequences moving forward for everything
that has transpired, And like Tejy say, make you feel
bad for the kids and the family and all of
those things. But it won't be the first time, and
the damn sure won't be the last. But hey man,
(11:22):
it's cheaper to keep on. You got to be more careful.
Speaker 5 (11:25):
LeVar Lavart like honestly though't like, come on man, like
the only problem I have, I don't have a problem.
Like and people they, oh, man, I hope this guy
is living a perfect like talking.
Speaker 4 (11:37):
About me because of what I said. When you do.
Speaker 5 (11:43):
Something like that that, whether it's right or is wrong,
we know what's wrong. You can't go to our house
and threaten to kill her and yourself what's been reported.
You can't do those things.
Speaker 3 (11:55):
Man, You've got the author forced his way in, is
what it was reported as that he wasn't arrested for
the relationship, the improprieties, and he was fire for the relationship.
He was fired for the relationship. He was arrested for
the crash out.
Speaker 5 (12:11):
So that's my that's I think it's my biggest problem.
Brou Like you got caught and you had the nerve
to fire her after she said there was no relationship going, like,
she saved your job, So now that she saved your job,
she should now be working. Dude, you're gonna fire me
and you're not gonna give me a great sevage package.
(12:33):
We both losing our job now. And that's where he
went wrong.
Speaker 4 (12:38):
Man, I'm gonna say this.
Speaker 3 (12:40):
I think it's again And you mentioned the I hope
you live a perfect life. Like nobody has the right
to judge anybody's lifestyle and their way of life, and
nobody really has the right to to kind of, you know,
dictate what somebody's life is. You have that choice, you
have that free will to decide how you want to
live your life. But ultimately, when you do something that
(13:03):
puts what you did in the in the media and
in the forefront, when you're a public figure to begin with, UH,
you have to be willing to take on uh the
consequences quinces, the reproduction, reproduction, the repercussions. Uh there was
reproduction involved in this, by the way. Uh, the real recessions.
Speaker 4 (13:22):
Uh it was stopped you.
Speaker 5 (13:27):
A multi million dollar coach at the University of Michigan.
Speaker 3 (13:30):
And here's where I'm gonna throw Look, here's where I'm
gonna throw the black card into it. Here's here's the
race card. You're the first black coach head coach of
Michigan of Michigan.
Speaker 4 (13:46):
Like, let that one sink in.
Speaker 3 (13:49):
Like I'm just saying, you gotta, like, listen, I'll be
the first one to tell you that that I am.
I am not a perfect man by no stretch of
the imagination. And I've always been been straight up and
upfront with with the type of dude I am. But
you gotta you gotta exercise some restraint, You gotta exercise
(14:13):
some some sense, and and you got to exercise some smarts.
And in this particular situation, not only is it a
conventional smarts, it's street smarts.
Speaker 4 (14:27):
You know, in a situation like that, the.
Speaker 3 (14:30):
Amount of scrutiny, the amount of of eyeballs that are
on you and everything you you're doing is is multiplied
like one hundred thousand times over.
Speaker 4 (14:43):
People gonna pay attention.
Speaker 3 (14:45):
Let alone, if you're dealing with a woman, and and
what that that relationship dynamic could look like if you
you know, on the slide tip. But they pay attention
to what type of shoes you're wearing, how your style is,
what type car you drive, are you drinking coffee?
Speaker 4 (15:02):
Is it tea? What type of what type of sweetener
is he putting in his tea?
Speaker 3 (15:07):
Like this, that they pay attention to the smallest things
when you transition into a position such as a head
coach of a prominent and prestigious university, much less things
that are lesser than that. If you're the CEO of
a company, if you're the talent of a company, if
(15:27):
you're whatever it may be, people pay attention to the
things that you do.
Speaker 5 (15:32):
So are we going to talk about this next segment
because we can? Yeah, man, because the dude, the way
Michigan went about it, you let these kids sign the
early sign a period when you knew.
Speaker 3 (15:43):
That which they can they can. They can transfer anyway though.
Speaker 4 (15:47):
But grimey, that's grimy. That is grimy.
Speaker 5 (15:51):
You knew you was firing them, and everybody knew in
the building that it was an affair, and you just
kind of prolonged it. I mean, I'm sorry, I didn't
mean to cut you off. It's Searon Moore had an
opportunity to get another job coaching. There's a lot of
(16:12):
coaches that had affairs.
Speaker 3 (16:13):
Oh, when you have the ultimate crash out, I believe
he'll never coach again.
Speaker 5 (16:20):
I'm not at a high level college football or the
NFL unless unless a guy like Harball Gizzy with job.
That's that's all I can see. Because Harball gave him
miss chance in Michigan. You can't crash out like that.
Speaker 3 (16:36):
That's a that's a it's a moment of a weakness
obviously that he'll probably regret for the rest of his life.
But again, you got choices to make, and like I said,
there's consequences and repercussions to them choices. And in the
moment when you know when when that moment is feeling
good and it's feeling right, you keep going and you
keep doing it, and you get deeper into it because
(16:57):
it feels good. Only problem is if it goes wrong,
it feels bad and and and it hits worse and
it and it hits super hard and and that's the
reality of life is I heard Shad and Sharp say,
so you never think it can be you until it's you.
Speaker 4 (17:15):
You know what I mean?
Speaker 3 (17:16):
And And for what is worth like.
Speaker 4 (17:20):
When when it's you.
Speaker 3 (17:21):
If you out here and and that's your your way
of doing things, you got to be prepared to handle
the repercussions of you it being you this time. So
I don't know, man, I'm with you, TJ. If he
you know, the way he crashed out, I think he,
you know, if he just gets fired for what it was,
I think he's able to catch on somewhere else. Maybe
(17:44):
not right away, but I think he's able to catch
on somewhere else. But you know, crashing out like that,
now you've shown that you have no control over yourself
and you're more of a liability.
Speaker 4 (17:54):
And rather than an asset.
Speaker 3 (17:56):
But it's a lot there. This is a lot to
talk about. So let's let's do this. Let's take a
quick break. Let's let's let's continue the conversation on the
other side of the break, and we'll we'll see where
where it takes us. I did want to touch on
Philip Rivers. You know, he did get named the starter,
so now he resets on his Hall of Fame calendar.
(18:17):
But maybe he's trying to make himself a first ballot
Hall of Famer instead of just being in the mix
to be a Hall of Famer.
Speaker 4 (18:23):
It's kind of interesting. Maybe that could be a take.
Speaker 3 (18:25):
On and have an opportunity to come back and see
what he can do be a comeback player. But we're
going to continue this conversation on Michigan and Sharon Moore
because we haven't even talked about you touched a little
bit on the recruits and wait until after signing day.
What type of impact does this have on Michigan. You know,
let's let's continue to out of conversation. This is up
on Gamesplex. Coburst, TJ. Huschman's out of I'm LeVar Arrington.
(18:47):
Take a quick break and we'll be right back this

we're gonna get to Philip Rivers. He's been named the
(20:12):
starter of this weekend's game for the Colts, but we
want to continue to have the conversation on the Sharon
More Michigan situation that is continuing to unfold.
Speaker 4 (20:28):
It's it's been a lot of.
Speaker 3 (20:32):
Conversations in terms of do you feel bad, do you
not feel bad? Should he have the opportunity to have redemption?
You know, there's a lot of different things. Will he
ever coach at all? Will he ever get an opportunity again?
And again I said, before we went to the break,
how how does this impact Michigan? You know, I know
(20:52):
we touched on the recruits. They waited until the early
signing date to end before the firing took place, and heck,
what is does this mean for the the coach moving forward?
We've heard John Rutin's name being floated out there. I mean,
there's a lot of names. What God, you guys got
to go out the place.
Speaker 4 (21:09):
Yeah, I don't.
Speaker 6 (21:10):
Think Michigan had, you know, planned to fire him before
all of these things came out. When she you know,
alerted the university officials that you know, she was in
a relationship and said we had just broken up. But
I don't I don't think that they were firing him
before that. So, uh, you know, it's from a recruiting standpoint.
(21:31):
I believe somebody, you know, some of these kids believed
that he was going to be the head football coach
next season if these things didn't occur. I mean, I
think that's what happened. But I still think he would
have been the head coach. I mean, they didn't have
a bad season, they went nine to three, but it
(21:52):
wasn't like you know, they they had a season and
you can look at it and say, you know, obviously
it's not up to their standards because they didn't make
it to the College Ball playoffs or the Big Ten
Championship or whatever. They lost to Ohio State. Yeah, and
they lost to Ohio State. So I still think they
had a good a good season. But in light of
all of these things, I think everything changed happened so
(22:14):
fast that if you had already signed to go there,
you didn't know. You thought that Sharon was going to
be the coach. But you know, just keep digging into
this thing.
Speaker 3 (22:25):
Man.
Speaker 6 (22:27):
It's just, you know, it's unfortunate because I'm sitting here.
I'm sitting there, you know, educating myself more on this
whole thing. But it seems to me, if the school
fires him with cause, they don't have to pay him.
That's correct, right, So if they don't have to pay
him to remain in the salary of what is owed
to him because he got fired without cause and the
(22:50):
cause he got fired with the cause and all of these,
you know, some of the statements that he made, and
you know, uh, this individual was traumatized basically by what
she was witnessing him saying doingside of his house, and
now he's checked into a mental hospital and getting a
(23:12):
mental evaluation. So it just seems like, you know, everything
has pretty much burned and crashed all at the same time.
And if you asking me if I think he'll will
coach again, I don't think so. But I think everybody is,
you know, deserving of a second chance, and we'll see
how it go. But moving forward from him, but being
a coach anywhere anytime soon, I don't think that's going
(23:36):
to be the case at all.
Speaker 4 (23:38):
When you.
Speaker 5 (23:40):
Do what he did after he was informed that she
had told That's why I believe his coaching career at
any level outside of high school maybe over and possibly
is over.
Speaker 3 (23:53):
I mean, wouldn't it be difficult to bring in somebody
who did that at the high school level more so
than any other level, Like you, high school would not
be there.
Speaker 4 (24:04):
You got to look at it this way.
Speaker 5 (24:05):
LeVar Art Brows just got a job recently. I can't
remember the school, but god, he just got a job.
Speaker 3 (24:13):
I remember somewhere in Mexico or so. It's a small school.
Speaker 5 (24:16):
And he he was the head coach at Baylor when
a lot of players were a lot of his players
were basically.
Speaker 4 (24:25):
Sexual assaulting a lot of young females Texas Tech University.
Right no, no, no, no no no no no no.
Speaker 5 (24:33):
It's a new one at new I'm saying. Now, he
when he was at Baylor, his players did that. But
he just got a job recently. I just I just
read about it.
Speaker 4 (24:42):
I'm looking for him. And so if he if he's
getting a job over a period of time, if.
Speaker 3 (24:49):
Mexico University, Eastern New Mexico University.
Speaker 5 (24:55):
Sharon Moore goes and gets help and gets himself together,
it's very possible. But when you're threatened to kill yourself
and her with saysers better knife whatever, that just makes
it hard for anybody to bring him in. And now
you're gonna coach these young men and mentor them what
you're gonna mentor, and so from that perspective, it makes
(25:19):
it hard. And that's why it was like, Bro, you
did something you shouldn't have done. You got caught. Just
let it go, Let it go, Like you're going to
cry to her in that way, is she gonna take
it back again?
Speaker 4 (25:34):
She already denied it.
Speaker 6 (25:36):
But t that's the thing when when they came to
them and you know, I guess over the summer, and
they asked them and they denied it. They denied it,
both of them.
Speaker 4 (25:46):
They lie.
Speaker 6 (25:47):
You would think that somebody between these two will be
mature enough to say that.
Speaker 4 (25:55):
You know what, let's just call it off. Let's not
do this.
Speaker 6 (25:58):
No more whatever they were doing, because listen, they on
to us, but they know about a let's just stop it.
Let's just stop it. You couldn't stop.
Speaker 5 (26:08):
I think that's what No, no, no, no, I think
that's what happened. I believe a relationship stopped thereafter. But
he that's why he was stalking her because he wanted
the relationship to continue. I believe that's what happened. That's
that's where stalking. That's where the stalking came from.
Speaker 3 (26:26):
He couldn't, couldn't handle it. And so where he couldn't,
he couldn't. She like you just couldn't let it go.
They said, the kryptonite.
Speaker 4 (26:35):
Huh.
Speaker 5 (26:36):
But so now so now you're seeing her every day
and you're like, okay, now I got a fire.
Speaker 4 (26:42):
That's where he went.
Speaker 5 (26:44):
Wrong at And if you did, like I said, you
got to make sure she's taking care of he A.
I know some guys that would have been like, Hey,
let me know what car you want for Christmas.
Speaker 4 (26:54):
We're gonna be good after this boom. That's just like
that's the package, that's your service package.
Speaker 3 (27:01):
But you know not the only problem with that, though,
is is that you never know if that severance package
is going to hold up though you're always under the
the moment in time where they could flip the script
on you. And and that's you know, that's the biggest
issue if you're in a position like Sharon More to
(27:23):
make those types of decisions right like you. It's one
thing if you was making you know, you was doing
what you were doing, and it wasn't inside the house.
You brought that confusion inside of your job, your workplace.
Speaker 4 (27:38):
Like that's that's.
Speaker 3 (27:40):
It's one of the oldest sayings in the book where
they say, don't.
Speaker 4 (27:44):
S where you eat.
Speaker 3 (27:47):
Everybody, one of the oldest sayings in the world.
Speaker 4 (27:50):
They all doing it, LeVar and and and and we
talk about.
Speaker 5 (27:55):
What what are the players going to do because supposedly
Michigan in the summer when they inquired about this, initially
they kind of had an inkling that was going on.
But Michigan is such a big that they might be
the biggest program as far as all sports out there.
You don't think that by firing Shaman Moore, they already
(28:18):
had a plan in place. They're not just doing this
off the cuff. Who no pun intended? Where do they
go from here? And their quarterback Bryce Underwood was committed
to LSU?
Speaker 4 (28:31):
Is he transfer all they good players? Are they going
to transfer out of there?
Speaker 5 (28:35):
Because I'm if I'm those kids and they're my kids,
we gone asaprock, we are gone.
Speaker 4 (28:43):
Yeah.
Speaker 6 (28:43):
I believe this is going to set them back a
few years until they you know, get their feet on
the ground and some kind of you know foundation moving forward.
But if I'm a kid and all this is going
on in Michigan and the coach is no longer there, everybody,
just like you said, everybody's talking about this whole Bryce
under A thing. Going to play with Lane Kiff for now, LSU.
Now you're losing recruits. I think it's gonna be tough
(29:06):
for them to rebound and compete, you know, every year
for a championship being the big ten at the way
it's looking right now. So I just I just think
for the next you know, three or four, maybe even
five years, they're gonna they're gonna struggle with, you know,
getting recruits knowing to do.
Speaker 3 (29:24):
It's been a lot of scandal taking place. I mean
from the recruiting to where you know, Hardball gets suspended
for that, to Connor's you know Scallions doing the whole
sign stealing to now with this, it just that man
Michigan can't catch a break on on things that are
(29:45):
coming their way that are you know, kind of like
program cripplers. But like y'all said, they still found a
way to maintain winning a national title and getting a
nine to three season this year and last year getting
a win in in Columbus, Ohio, it didn't seem like
it's that bad. I think it's a big enough program
(30:06):
where they actually can absorb what's taking place. They can
absorb it and be able to get through it. Because
the name and the brand is so strong, you'll still
be able to get guys to go there, especially in
the NIL era. But I think the biggest question becomes
will will the donors which I think we all know
the answer to this, Will the donors be supportive of
(30:29):
the movement to move beyond what has already taken place?
I think it almost you know, has to be a
end of anything connected to the Harball regime has to
be Like anybody that's working in that facility, I would
assume you got to just clean it all out, like
clean it all out, cut it all out, no remnants
(30:50):
of the Harball regime because it's just been a lot
of things connected to it, and it's just you got
to move on from that. And I say that the
idea of I feel like that's kind of in a
way how we've had to look at things as well
at Penn State with with the new movement that we
have going on there. You got to move on from
(31:13):
things in the past in order to be able to,
you know, have have a fair opportunity for success in
the future. But we'll see how it all plays out
and and uh yeah, I mean it's it's it'll be
interesting to see if cheril Moore pops back up and
and if you know, Michigan is able to have a
(31:33):
level of success moving forward. Uh let's get an update
from I Lo what you got going.
Speaker 4 (31:39):
On, my guy?
Speaker 8 (31:40):
Well, LeVar, we got NFL media reporting that Philip Rivers
will indeed started quarterback tomorrow for the Indianapolis Colts at
Seattle Rivers had been a semi finalist for this year's
Pro Football Hall of Fame class. Instead, he will now
not be eligible for the Hall of Fame until twenty
thirty one. No word yet how this will affect his
(32:02):
Medicare eligibility anyway. Miami Dolphins head coach Mike McDaniel said
today that running back de von A Chan is expected
to play on Monday Night football against the Pittsburgh Steelers.
In Major League Baseball, multiple outlets report that infielder Jorge
Polonco has agreed to a two year, forty million dollar
deal with the New York Mets. And in college basketball
(32:24):
right now, boy, kudos.
Speaker 9 (32:26):
To the two of you for being on speaking terms.
We've got Levar's Penn State Nitney Lions leading Plaques's ninth
rancs Michigan State Spartans, up thirty one to twenty seven
with three forty two remaining in the first half. I
can feel the tension in your voices.
Speaker 6 (32:45):
We are not worried about any Nitney Lion on the hardwood.
Speaker 3 (32:50):
Yeah, upside or not, we get better.
Speaker 4 (32:54):
We are not.
Speaker 6 (32:54):
There's nobody even at the basketball game, so that tells
you a lot.
Speaker 3 (32:58):
YEP, y'all gonna get y'all gonna be had trap game, y'all.
Speaker 4 (33:03):
Yeah, right, is still y'all? Coach? Is he still y'all? Coach?
What are you talking about?
Speaker 9 (33:11):
We just got an extension to me.
Speaker 5 (33:13):
Yeah, okay, what's best sport is it? Is it a wrestling?
Speaker 4 (33:19):
Yeah? Pretty good? You know, we're really good.
Speaker 3 (33:24):
And I was about to say we we We're pretty
We're pretty.
Speaker 4 (33:27):
Solid in a lot of sports.
Speaker 3 (33:29):
It's so funny because in the grand scheme of things,
football drives everything t J. But you know, wrestling, women's volleyball,
men's hockey, women's hockey.
Speaker 4 (33:41):
Uh, I think there's a couple more.
Speaker 3 (33:44):
I'm slipping on, but yeah, I mean wrestling by far
is is like we don't play around, like we're trying
to win all the divisions of the national titles this year.
Speaker 4 (33:55):
So be on the look out for that.
Speaker 3 (33:57):
Okay, it's never been done, but we did a year
in a row wrestling chat with cardist Rucci last year,
so you.
Speaker 4 (34:04):
Know, it is what it is.
Speaker 3 (34:06):
Anyways, what are you finished with with the update, ILove,
because it sounded like you were just enjoying us having
the conversation, and you know, I just wanted to make
sure I was clear on the fact that you know
you were done giving us that information on trending news.
Speaker 8 (34:19):
You gotta both, baby, I was just trying to build
that tension between Michigan State and Polka.
Speaker 4 (34:24):
I saw what you did. There's just nothing for me
to there's nothing to build up. Ilo.
Speaker 3 (34:29):
You tried to come in between us, Ilo, but you
know what I'm it seems as though Plexico is allowing
you to do it. I'm not going to do it.
In fact, I'm gonna take us to break because I
just got to get in Plexus here and tell him.
Don't don't let Hollo get in between us anymore. Man
like you see what he did on live radio. Come on,
Ilo anyway. Uh yeah, we're not gonna let you get
(34:51):
in between us either. You know why, because well, you
being the break and you out there being our listeners.
We're gonna take a quick break and we're gonna get
on the other side. Yes, I was joking, y'all, that
was not serious. We're gonna get to the other side
of the break. We're gonna wrap it up again. We're
gonna talk a little. Philip Rivers he is back, as
you heard from Ilow and he is starting. There's a
(35:11):
lot to connect to that with a lot a little
bit of time. But anyway, we're gonna take a quick break.
We'll be right back. This is up on Game.
Speaker 4 (35:18):
It's t J.
Speaker 3 (35:19):
Huschman's Eyes Plexico Burst. I'm LeVar Arrington. Uh yeah, we'll
be right back. It's ridiculous. But is this you Chris
you on you on the ones in the twos? I
am yeah, yeah, Oh Mike, it is supposed to be
Christmas music. I just didn't have it ready for the
last break.
Speaker 4 (35:37):
It's it's Tyler the Creator right here. Yes, this is
a horrible song.
Speaker 3 (35:42):
I took a book page out of I took a
page out of Jonas's book here this is this song
is horrible. Anyway, Uh, welcome back into the show.
Speaker 4 (35:52):
This this is up on Game.
Speaker 3 (35:55):
Uh and you know what we're also with iHeart. Make
sure you get the iHeart Radio app. You could stream

get up out of this hour and bring on cuffs
an hour two fellas, Philip Rivers came back. I believe
he's forty four years old and has five hundred kids.
(36:34):
What what do you come back?
Speaker 4 (36:37):
Why do you come back?
Speaker 3 (36:38):
And he's been named the starter, So it seems as though,
in indeed they feel like this is a now, we're
never situation. Obviously apparently by doing making this move, what's
y'alls take on it?
Speaker 4 (36:52):
Go ahead? Pleasure got it?
Speaker 6 (36:54):
I mean I was kind I was kind of surprised shock.
While they will reach out to Philip Rivers that the
month left in the season, the crazy thing that I
noticed is that they.
Speaker 4 (37:04):
Gave him Daniel Jones number. I mean, what does that say?
Speaker 6 (37:08):
They took Daniel Jones Judgey off his shoulder pad the
man hurt.
Speaker 4 (37:12):
And Philip's got this number. That's not a good sign.
I mean, the man on the roster, you take the
guy's number.
Speaker 6 (37:19):
Man, I've never seen that before, by the way, but listen, man,
you know what I believe in my last.
Speaker 4 (37:26):
Season, man twelve years twelve, and.
Speaker 6 (37:31):
You really think that you can go out there and
perform like you twenty five and twenty six years old,
and it just doesn't happen.
Speaker 4 (37:37):
I believe I was thirty.
Speaker 6 (37:38):
Six at the time, and my mind was telling me
to do things, but my body just wasn't going as
fast as I needed.
Speaker 4 (37:46):
It to do.
Speaker 6 (37:48):
It was like everything that I'm doing, I'm telling you, man,
it was like I was a step behind, and I'm
sitting there saying, you know, you're playing his mind game
with yourself with a helmet. He was like, I see
the guy right there, Why can't I get out the way?
Speaker 4 (38:00):
You know what I mean.
Speaker 6 (38:01):
It's one of those, you know kind of things that
you fight mentally that you still do that you really
think that you can go out and compete with some
of the greatest athletes in the world at this level.
Speaker 3 (38:12):
But don't you think it's different for a quarterback though,
Like all he has to do is read the defense
and have a quick one.
Speaker 4 (38:18):
I don't think. I don't think it's going to be
that easy. Five years is a long time.
Speaker 6 (38:21):
I think the game is has sped up a little bit,
especially with it being the last month of the season,
guys are really playing hard, and I just think it's
not going to be as easy as he thinks it is.
And the second question, what are they gona do about it?
In Shawn, so they put them back on the NFL,
and Shawan's like, how does that work?
Speaker 4 (38:38):
Yeah?
Speaker 5 (38:39):
You get there, Yeah you get everything what you think?
The thing about the number is really crazy. You know
how many people are talking about the g He's on
IR but Daniel Jones is seventeen, not Philip Rivers's seventeen.
Speaker 4 (38:54):
It's crazy.
Speaker 5 (38:55):
But I'll say this, in our minds, we think we
can play your eyes and the timing and the speed
that guys play at. Your mind has not been doing
any of this. You can be throwing the ball at
the high school level and your mind may be strong,
you may understand coverage, but this pass rush now is different.
Speaker 4 (39:17):
These dudes are way.
Speaker 5 (39:18):
More athletic now than they were. And then you're playing
the Seahawks and that defense, and then you got to
turn around after that and play the Niners, Like, do
you know what you're getting yourself into? I wish you
nothing but the best, because I would like to see
him do well. I would like to see the coach
getting the playoffs after having that great start to their season.
And so if Philip Rivers plays well, this may open
(39:41):
the door up for a lot of quarterbacks that have
played recently or have retired.
Speaker 4 (39:47):
Hey, we might get these guys another look. So which
better option than Philip Rivers at forty four?
Speaker 5 (39:53):
Hey, guess what, though, We're gonna be tuned in. We're
gonna be tuned in. I know, I am.
Speaker 4 (39:57):
I'm watching that first drive for sure.
Speaker 3 (39:59):
We the playbook and he knows the head coach real well.
So they got a great relationship. We'll see how it
all plays out with Philip Rivers and this coach team.
They do have Jonathan Taylor and some players. So anyway,
we got hour two coming up. It's up on game
Fox Sports Radio. Will be right back
