Speaker 1 (00:00):
Another amazing week with you and Covino and Rich enjoy
the best of the best of the best of the week.

Speaker 2 (00:09):
Bring up one thing you talked about, those pharmacy toys,
and you know we all got his kids color forms.

Speaker 3 (00:13):
The Easter Bunny brings a little you know, as you said,
the pharmacy type of toys.

Speaker 2 (00:17):
Yeah, the Wollie Willie. Do you remember the wooly Willie?
Who doesn't That's the guy you can make a mustache on, right, Yeah,
sounds like the mag the magnet stuff.

Speaker 3 (00:27):
It's not.

Speaker 4 (00:28):
So.

Speaker 2 (00:28):
I wanted to get my kids some baseball cards and
I told them, I said, hey, listen, Easter Bunny's gonna
bring you other stuff, but dad wants to bring you
to the baseball card shop.

Speaker 3 (00:38):
Nice and let me tell you something.

Speaker 2 (00:41):
Not as easy to find baseball cards as when we
were kids. I know we went to the baseball card shop,
but you almost got to seek a place out because
Walmart no longer carries baseball cards target much like Pokemon cards.
If you've got a little kid, always years old. So
there's always gonna be the local baseball card shop. And
you hope they're open, and you hope they got what
you want, but I was. I was stunned at how

(01:05):
much cards are nowaday it is. There's a lot of
special cards out saying no, I'm talking regular tops. Is
it bad to to what's the politically correct term to
take a card back that you gave to somebody?

Speaker 3 (01:21):
I don't know the politically I don't know that politically
correct term for that button, So be careful.

Speaker 2 (01:27):
No, no, no, But my this weekend, this Easter weekend, my
sister said, remember those stacks of cards you gave to
James And I was like, yeah, She's like, you know
there was an autographed show Heltani in there.

Speaker 3 (01:37):
I was like what. I was like, I'm sorry, can
I have it back? Please? You give her of things?
Can I get that back?

Speaker 5 (01:46):
It's close as regifting. Was the close that I could
go exactly what it is.

Speaker 2 (01:52):
But Danny j Dan byer Camno, you guys all those
week kids we talk about baseball cards as kids, right.

Speaker 3 (01:58):
I'm not trying to sound like we're not a little boy.
I'm trying to sell the old timey time guy.

Speaker 2 (02:04):
But I feel like there was a point where stadium
club and upper deck there were a couple dollars a pack,
and I remember my grandfather reve get him at the
seven to eleven or the quick check or the local bodego.

Speaker 3 (02:13):
He's had him on standby a couple bucks.

Speaker 2 (02:15):
Your dad would be buying some cigarettes of coffee and
some scratch offs and he's throwing a pack of cards
for you.

Speaker 5 (02:21):
Did you get a hobby pack or a blaster pack
or oh, I'm telling you it's ridiculous.

Speaker 2 (02:27):
I go there and uh, these are not the you
know Dan Patrick Pinini collectible ones he does reads for.

Speaker 3 (02:33):
I'm talking like, I was just like, let me just
get some.

Speaker 2 (02:36):
I was really trying to find like the cheapest cards
because my kids are not gonna like take the basket, right,
They're not gonna take care of them. And I said,
I'll throw these in here with the Easter bunny stuff
because I want you guys to have some baseball cards.
And these are the most basic Tops twenty twenty five. No,
you know, no shiny, no inserts, none of that stuff.
Basic cards. Aaron judges on the cover, A super pack,

(03:00):
which is still forty cards, So don't get me right,
it's like a thick ass pack. You know, you can
get them. Surprisingly, the car wash sells them hard. Yeah,
they have them there once in a while. Maybe I
should buy some since they're so hard to forty cards.
So it's a big ass pack of cards. Who would
you believe it was thirty bucks? That's insane. No, I
don't believe that thirty bucks. And then I looked at Oh,

(03:21):
maybe I'll look online. That's a lap dance and a
half worth of cards they have. Wait, hold on, how
much is the lap dance nowadays?

Speaker 3 (03:29):
Twenty five last? No way? Really? Five bucks goes to
show you what a good guy I am. But the
point is.

Speaker 2 (03:37):
The kids still get fascinated by it. But it's not
a cheap thing. Thirty bucks are a big value pack
of tops cards. Tough times for the Easter Bunny. And
it was happen with silly putty. I guess my son
the other day I was telling you who let's if
you pay attention to my stories?

Speaker 4 (03:54):
Who do?

Speaker 3 (03:55):
My son says, two favorite players are he said, Lindor Yeah,
and and Otani Dodger In his megapack.

Speaker 2 (04:05):
He pulled the Lindor and away And I almost want
to be like, buddy, that's you got lucky pal?

Speaker 3 (04:11):
Does it always happened?

Speaker 2 (04:12):
I was like, so he gots uhould get a bunch
of Johnny Grubbs and Don Assis.

Speaker 3 (04:17):
Oh man, another Jeff Musselman.

Speaker 5 (04:19):
You know what they do in some some companies, and
I'm not sure exactly which ones is now, they'll put
old players in, the guys who had already played. So
when you and I were growing up, we'd be like, oh, look,
I got Dwight Stevenson center, right, you know from the
Miami Dolphins. There's no lineman in any of these anymore,
Like it's been replaced by like Thurman Thomas. You know, Oh,

(04:42):
I got a Troy Aikman card in this pack at
twenty twenty five whatever. It's completely different game.

Speaker 3 (04:49):
They're switching it up, man.

Speaker 2 (04:50):
But there's definitely a huge growing buzz again around all
these cards for sure, and just for all the parents
whose kids are into I roll my eyes at it,
but hey, my son loves Pokemon. Pokemon cards are like
five to ten dollars minimum per little pack.

Speaker 3 (05:06):
Like it's a market, man, you know what, let me
promote our bonus pod.

Speaker 2 (05:09):
Then rich Over promised, because we talked about the greatest
athletes of all time, but we also talked about the
greatest polls in baseball cards, basketball cards especially We talked
about it on Over Promised, our bonus podcast Fox Sports
Radios YouTube page, episode eighty eight, and this week I
think KFC from Barstools stopping by the show. So that's
on Fox Sports Radios YouTube page because we always run

(05:29):
out of time on this show, so over Promise check
it out. Did you happen to see that clip Dan
Bayer a Big Cat from Barstool?

Speaker 3 (05:37):
It's insane. That is such a cool clip. It really
is of doing one.

Speaker 2 (05:41):
So big cat who you know part of part of
my take on Barstool. He's doing a he bought a
pack of he's doing a basketball fleeer from like eighty
the Jordan Rookie water. Yes, and I think he spent
like you know those packs go for like eight hundred pack. Yes,

(06:01):
when don't you believe it? Second card, they're slowly opening.
He pulls a Jordan Wow, Jordan Rookie which could it
could be hundreds of thousands of dollars based on the rating. Yes,
so a big payoff, but it was pretty cool. Like
just watching the the unopening of that pack gave me anxiety.
Speaking of cards, back in the day, which was a Tuesday,

(06:22):
I do remember collecting wrestling cards. They were grimy, they
were old school wrestling cards, and it's crazy to see
how much it's grown. This weekend we saw WrestleMania, and
the big story is John Cena's back.

Speaker 3 (06:35):
John Cena is the man.

Speaker 2 (06:36):
Not only is John Cena back, not just him seems
like some of his hair is back.

Speaker 3 (06:43):
That's the story. Take and listen to Sena.

Speaker 2 (06:45):
He was on the Pat McAfee show this morning post WrestleMania.

Speaker 4 (06:48):
That's the thing when you get it like so, you
get the deal right, and your hair falls out because
the new ones have to grow, so the old one
falls out, so like in January February, it was like
I had it in November. That's when I came to
like half a skin hit up here you guys, Oh,
by the way, thank you for being so aware of
my needs and emotions, because you guys ripped me to

(07:09):
shreds for a genetic problem that I can't control. Dude,
you don't look good enough out there, Like that's what
I'm saying. This isn't cool. You guys aren't cool to me.

Speaker 2 (07:20):
There's John Cena talk about how he was bullied into
fixing his hair. Well, he was going bald, it wasn't
a good look. It wasn't working for him, right, And
as Scott van Pel always says, yeah, just take it home,
take it home. At that point, I don't know if
it was taken home worthy, but it was noticeable, right,
He had a noticeable bald spot. Couldn't help a notice

(07:42):
it. It was at receding. He actually had like the circle
on top. I do think we as men have to
be more accepting of these things and just sort of
lean into it. Like we worked with a guy that
wore a hat for like two months straight and everyone
was talking about him behind his back because everybody knew, like,
and once he took the hat off, he had a
full on potpour right. So I think we need to

(08:02):
just be more understanding of that and make it more
acceptable because it's becoming more and more common. People are
doing all these trips to Turkey, these all inclusive trips,
coming back with full heads of hair. You know, women
are doing things all the time. Hey, we gotta be
okay with dudes fixing their hair. Is I was just
gonna say, women do these type of things all the time,
and they talk about it with each other and publicly.

(08:25):
Some girl will be on TikTok, being like, I'm going
for my boatox and filler and my and my ass
tuck and whatever. Guy does something with his hair, we crucified.

Speaker 3 (08:34):
Yeah, guy has to be all guys. Guy has to
hide it under a hat for you know, the rest
of his life.

Speaker 2 (08:40):
Guy fixing his hairline has the secrecy of a girl
getting a boob job in the eighties.

Speaker 3 (08:45):
We have to be like, you.

Speaker 2 (08:46):
Go, queen, we have to do that. You go see
way to go, buddy, because and you know why, I
want to do that because it might be me one
day now.

Speaker 3 (08:54):
I don't want to hear flak from anybody.

Speaker 2 (08:56):
I'm fascinated by when women do things to improve their looks.
It's encouraged and they cheer each other on yes bam bamoom.
I applaud John Cena because I saw John Cena come
back and he had his floppy almost like his nineteen
nineties mushroom haircut.

Speaker 3 (09:12):
I'm like, you know, he's got a big balt spot,
looks terrible and so he's possibly problem.

Speaker 2 (09:17):
But I didn't say it out wow, but I tested
and I thought to myself, here's John Cena, movie star
wrestler champion.

Speaker 3 (09:27):
So I said it.

Speaker 2 (09:28):
Man, it's genetics, and that's why Lebron can't do anything
about it. It's just you know, in his DNA at
this point. And I'm sure he's tried and we've seen
it appear and reappear and disappear.

Speaker 3 (09:37):
And all that.

Speaker 2 (09:38):
But he was sort of bullied into it. So think
about this Fox Sports Radio Nation, because I have an answer.
We all have an answer. We'll go around the room.
Let's chop it up the times you were bullied into
doing something, but it was for your own benefit, for
your greater good.

Speaker 3 (09:54):
I was bullied and I held out so long.

Speaker 2 (09:57):
I was ruining the group text messages for so long
because I had an android.

Speaker 3 (10:02):
Well you did, I had an android? So oh oh,
so you're that guy. People like, hey, here's what happened.

Speaker 2 (10:07):
Then, you know, I was going on dates, and then
I was realizing this is when I was single. I
just got out of a divorce, and people, the women
I was dating, they're like, he has an android. So
I was getting looked down upon. And then I met
a girl, and girl that I'm currently with till this day.
She's like, if you're going to date me, you got
to get rid of that android. I'm like, Wow, this
is serious. Huh, this is a real thing. And between

(10:30):
her and all my buddies and Rich and I'm ruined
the group messages and all that stuff because my texts
were green.

Speaker 3 (10:36):
It was an issue. I guess I got.

Speaker 2 (10:38):
Bullied into finally getting an iPhone, and I have to say,
you know, I like it. I guess I'm more accepted
it works. It didn't change my life, but at least
I got you off my back. So I'm a fan.
But I wasn't really against the Android, but Rich, I
was totally bullied into that by you guys and my
current girlfriend. What were you bullied into doing that benefited you?

Speaker 3 (11:03):
Yeah, I guess.

Speaker 2 (11:04):
I guess you could say it benefited me in the
sense that people don't look down on me anymore because
of the Android.

Speaker 3 (11:10):
It could be a show, it could be a movie,
it could be something you do. I feel like.

Speaker 2 (11:16):
I feel like I was sort of shamed into trying
sushi for the first time. How about we shamed you
into getting a fade. This guy had a haircut like
he was Mel Gibson up until we have a Mel
Gibson hair spot. Did we not bully him into getting
a fade like George Washington like side this guy had
like old wig. Yeah, he had like mad dog, like

(11:38):
a cocker spaniel earflaps. Yeah, you know, like where the
hair went over his ears. He had side poofs and
we we were like, dude, just can you please get.

Speaker 3 (11:46):
Like a normal buzz cut from a barber. He would
sit under.

Speaker 2 (11:49):
Those those moon things that the old lady sit under
the salon like a hair net.

Speaker 3 (11:54):
Yeah, Rich would do that the salon all the time.

Speaker 2 (11:57):
And now ironically Rich she used to AquaNet like, a
longer hairdo is coming is back now, so you might
have to grow your hair back. But for the longest time,
we're like, dude, you just get a fade. Yeah, an
old guy hair do. It was the right move, But
you act like I just had longer hair on the
sides I used to It was not with style with scissors.
Now it's now a longer hairstyle is probably in style.

Speaker 3 (12:20):
You should probably go back.

Speaker 2 (12:22):
But for the longest time, he had never gone to
a barber, never, up until maybe five six years ago,
had never gone to.

Speaker 3 (12:29):
A barber, and we bullied him into it. You got
to you got to accept it.

Speaker 2 (12:33):
Sometimes sometimes your friends or family might bully you into something,
and at first you might be like, oh, well, I know,
and then you're like, you know what, thanks for doing that,
because I'm better off for it.

Speaker 3 (12:46):
I mean, I hear this a lot when it comes
to those jobs and things like that.

Speaker 2 (12:50):
Like certain people like they don't want to but then
they're haggled and harassed so much and it turns out
to be the greatest thing they ever did.

Speaker 3 (12:56):
Now, I'm not condoning or promoting that.

Speaker 2 (12:58):
I'm saying certain things might work to your advantage and
you put it off for so long. How about Spot
with the gym. If you ask Spot, we we bullied
him in the early two thousands all the time, and
he has all this crazy resentment about how we bullied him.
But we would say he was paying for a gym
membership and never went. Now, this guy thinks he's an
Adonis flexing all the time because we bullied him to

(13:21):
go into the gym.

Speaker 3 (13:22):
If anything, we should get a little credit. That's what
I'm saying. I know, now he's a mister ripplepecks. I
give you zero crick.

Speaker 2 (13:28):
I know, but dude, how much how often can we
tell you would just bock me for coming to the
gym with us, come to the gym with no to
that gym. We didn't tell him to go to the
gym all the time, and he never went to the gym,
never came with me. I didn't know what to now
he's a gym rat. Now I know what to do
now he's a gym rat. But allah, John Cena. Just
something to keep in mind. You might assume all bullying
is bed. John Cena talked about it on McAfee today.

(13:50):
Not all bullyings begaus. Sometimes sometimes it's just a solid encouragement.
Enough people say something to you, you know might better.
You know it's all in the presentation, might change. Really
it really is. Because if you like John Cena, we
can all say he's dude. I love John Cena. I
think it's a solid move for him. He has a
lot of tread on the tires still, as they say,

(14:10):
so for him to rock that bald spot in a
spotlight like that where he's supposed to be the cool
guy in the ring, I don't think he matched his vibe,
don't you think I think it was a good move
for him. I think John Cena, unless he shaved his
head completely, I think it was the right move for sure.

Speaker 3 (14:26):
So Sina the big star. The big star that was
John Cena. I thought that was ernest he does. I
thought Pee Warrel was on steroids. So saf WrestleMania.

Speaker 2 (14:39):
That wasn't in your phone calls. You were bullied into something,
but it was the solid move, Joe and Virgin You
will start with you a llah, John Cena. Have you
ever been bullied into something and you're like, you know what,
I'm sort of glad.

Speaker 3 (14:52):
I'm sort of glad. I was what's up? Man?

Speaker 6 (14:55):
Hey, guys, uh, not necessarily bullied into too much. But
my old man talk me into a pedicure one time
when I was totally against it. And I'll tell you what,
when you're done as a guy getting your first pedicure,
you're gonna be so happy with the softest seat, the
best feeling calves you've had, you won't knock them anymore.

Speaker 3 (15:15):
Oh is that why they call you soft foot?

Speaker 4 (15:17):
Joe?

Speaker 2 (15:17):
Yeah, thank you, buddy, Joe, SFJA everybody. That's a great
example because I have I've gotten pedicures with why my
wife and ex girlfriends, And there are guys a pedicure
I would never and I'm like, oh.

Speaker 3 (15:32):
If you'll now Rich his wife gets pedicures with Rich.
It's true.

Speaker 2 (15:35):
Yeah, now he makes the appointments. But again it works
to your advantage. I'm sure it's a life changer.

Speaker 3 (15:41):
You know.

Speaker 2 (15:41):
These guys bully me every time we're out to dinner.
They bully me into trying something new, some sort of
seafood thing that I'm sure I've had before, but I
don't want it. But they just won't stop until I
try it. Every once in a while, you'll come across
something like, you know what, I think I like it,
So sometimes it could work to your advantage.

Speaker 3 (16:00):
Something to keep in mind.

Speaker 2 (16:01):
All right, Hey, coming up, we are going to play
a little NFL draft trivia.

Speaker 3 (16:06):
We got man Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, three sleeps, three kids.

Speaker 2 (16:10):
My kids would say three sleeps until the NFL Draft.
All right, well, hey, it's time for a little game time.
How about Shack Diesel trivia.

Speaker 7 (16:20):
Whenever we say not to name drop, that means we're
about to name drop.

Speaker 3 (16:25):
Oh my goodness, not only.

Speaker 7 (16:27):
Our CN our friends with Tyson and mahomes, Hey man,
they're also buddies with a big Aristotle.

Speaker 2 (16:34):
What's up a big shock Diesel aka shackfou aka Shack Daddy.

Speaker 3 (16:38):
Okay, the big Aristotle. Guess what it's done our product.

Speaker 7 (16:43):
Time for some basketball trivia.

Speaker 3 (16:45):
Basketball trivia?

Speaker 4 (16:47):
What he said?

Speaker 3 (16:49):
There's the break draft boards. Now I'm breaking records for
REFISR Radio, Shack del basketball trivia.

Speaker 1 (16:55):
FSR Security, walking our brooke Shack food into the main studio.

Speaker 3 (17:00):
Here we go, Shack. We we appreciate you waking up
early this morning last love Shack Baby, Love Shack Baby.

Speaker 1 (17:09):
Last night on the set, we all saw you have
to run off unplanned to use the restroom because you're
drinking too much olive oil.

Speaker 3 (17:16):
Too much olive oil didn't agree with me. It's hurt.
Supposed to clean you out or something. Yeah, I think
it happened. You want to talk about it. You're a
big guy. You feel bad for that bathroom. Want the details?
I'll thank you. All right, let's meet the contestants.

Speaker 1 (17:30):
Ten time winner Rich Davis right over there go four
time winner Spotty Boy. Let's make a big number, five
big five. It's not a big number. But leader in
the clubhouse is thirteen time winner Dan Bayer. But Dv's
going to be in this afternoon, so sitting in for
him again is one time winner, Big Mike, who doesn't
run this place.

Speaker 2 (17:50):
He was the winner last Tuesday when we were filling
in for Tea. I thought I recognized this guy. I
thought it was Bruce Willis. It was like what happened
to Bruce Willis?

Speaker 1 (17:59):
And uh look to win a see in our stainless
steal swiggy on our studio lines.

Speaker 3 (18:03):
All right, big Mike, I'll use you for this.

Speaker 1 (18:05):
Would you love to travel to beautiful Charleston, South Carolina,
Las Vegas, Nevada, Whittier, California, or Indianapolis, Indiana.

Speaker 3 (18:15):
Uh, you know what I'm going to Charleston. Let's go nice?
All right, Charleston. That is Todd. Hey, Todd's up?

Speaker 8 (18:21):
Todd?

Speaker 3 (18:23):
Tod say, what's up to broke Shack? There was up?
How do you like my yellow glasses? I've been rocking
these yellow glasses? Do you like these? Fantastic? Thank you? Todd?
Speechless Todd? What do you do for a living?

Speaker 4 (18:37):
There?

Speaker 3 (18:37):
Really quick? In Charleston.

Speaker 6 (18:39):
I work in parking software, so like to texta pay parking?

Speaker 3 (18:43):
Oh nice? All right, well let's get into that.

Speaker 1 (18:45):
Let's go all right. Here are the rules for Shack
Diesel Trivia. The first contestant with two correct answers, is
the champion. If there's a tie, we have a tie
breaker question. Your name is your buzzer, but you do
have to wait until all three possible answers are read.
If there's two wrong answers in row, we move on
to the next question. Are you ready, let's go, Let's
get it out. O'Neal, he's round one. All eves are
my former Lakers tonight? How old was Bronnie when Lebron

(19:09):
went on his first playoff runt? How old was Bronnie
when Lebron went on his first playoff run? Was a
two months old? Be eighteen months old? Or see, Bronni
wasn't born yet, Mike, Mike, Mike got in there first.

Speaker 3 (19:26):
Bronnie wasn't born yet. No, and well, actually Todd was
Actually you got Todd, I got eighteen months and you
got one correct. But this guy came to play Tod
came to play Todd halfway to a swiggy there. All right,
we move on to round two. He came to play

(19:46):
unlike Lebron, I like the Lakers. That's right. Shut you up, tonight.

Speaker 2 (19:52):
What was I once quoted saying about money? Hey, it's
not about how much you make. The question is are
you educated enough to keep it b In my twenties,
I stacked women and paper. The money stayed with me longer.
Or see, I'm so good at shopping that I cleaned
supermarket sweep out of their one hundred large grand prize,

(20:16):
Say big.

Speaker 3 (20:17):
Mike gut In there. Yes, he's correct. It's not about
how much money you make. The question is are you
educated enough to keep it? All? Right? So we got
a good battle so far. Todd and Mike on the
board as we moved around three check hill O'Neal. Great
to be here. Very busy week for me.

Speaker 2 (20:38):
Who is the head coach that was fired by the
Memphis Grizzlies just four weeks ago? Hey Taylor Jenkins, b
Taylor Jones or C Gennores Taylor.

Speaker 1 (20:53):
To God for the win. I'm going to b B
Taylor Jones. No, Mike, Mike for the steal in the wind.

Speaker 3 (21:03):
Hey Taylor Jenkins is correct.

Speaker 1 (21:06):
Mike want Tom back to back. He's like me in
my prime and belly to belly. Look at that belly.
Thank you very much.

Speaker 2 (21:19):
Round A said Todd, you're swiggy. You're a stayless steal
water bottle I know Todd, you want my swiggy.

Speaker 6 (21:24):
Bro, I'll take it as long as they turn your
mic back off.

Speaker 3 (21:34):
Definitely getting it.

Speaker 1 (21:35):
I'm gonna put two Swiggies in his package, the blue
one and the black one.

Speaker 3 (21:39):
What did I ever do to you people?

Speaker 4 (21:41):
I wanted?

Speaker 9 (21:41):
I ever?

Speaker 3 (21:42):
Thank you Todd?

Speaker 7 (26:06):
Mid Week Major Major, Oh, I love that. We throw
sports and pop culture headlines and topics at the fellas
and it's like the kids.

Speaker 8 (26:16):
Say, that's summit. We definitely major.

Speaker 7 (26:19):
See in our score.

Speaker 1 (26:21):
Mid Week Major, Let's go fast and we give Spotty
nine full minutes. You hear the horns. You made it
to the middle of the week. Before we hand things
over to the number one and only host of the segment,
we roll the two big red Love dice in the
main studio right there, I rolled the seventh.

Speaker 2 (26:37):
Well, we are going to have our big Vegas party,
our Caveno Rich Party June twentieth to the twenty second.
So I'm trying to get all my bad rolls out
of the way. So when we're there in Vegas, money money, crap,
stable money.

Speaker 3 (26:47):
Good luck with that rich roll? Seven? Oh time you
go to take a die? Oh not seven? Out was first?
All so we went? We win, all right, So let's
roll it out ready.

Speaker 13 (26:58):
I've been vibrating for more time forever. How come Mike
gets way more time than I do that?

Speaker 3 (27:03):
Can you know it? Gets one and I get Oh
my god, we'll tie again. Stop it all right, let's
just go in Owner of the show. Can you know
your first one? I got two?

Speaker 1 (27:14):
Rich gets first taken ladies, ladies and gentlemen. The most
famous person besides Judy Blue with the seven minutes from
Scotch Plains New Jersey, spotty boy, you have, as we know, Shack,
the king of endorsements from car What does he do?
Card sor general general faster restaurants? Well might be with

(27:36):
Mama John's. Might be able to add some oh yeah,
the Chachmarney might be able to add some adult diapers
into the mix. After his emergency is bathroom emergency during
Inside the NBA on Monday, Uh he already jeted off
set to use the bathroom. Several brands have since reached
out hoping to support Shack in his time of need.

Speaker 13 (27:54):
North Short Care, who produces adult typers is looking to
said Shack some important pack of their Go Supreme extra
Large and depend depend or depends whatever it is, also
wants to send Shack some products suggesting their real fit
underwear so he won't even know he's wearing them on set.
I don't know if you saw last night, they actually
wheeled out a portage on for him to use.

Speaker 3 (28:16):
Just having fun with it. Midweek er major.

Speaker 2 (28:18):
I think it's major in the fact that everyone's having
fun with it, and you know, Shack's great at taking
the joke. Chuck and everyone chimed in. I love how
they're like, it's a little that olive oil he's been drinking,
you know. I guess we're all trying, if just forus,
we're all trying different dumb diets to try to stay slim.

Speaker 3 (28:33):
So Shaq is actually drinking oils and stuff that to
me is.

Speaker 2 (28:36):
Funny to begin with, but uh yeah, I mean a
great opportunity for it depends on all these diaper companies
to get in on a little promo. Right, absolutely, and
it goes to show you again, I agree major the
power of endorsement that Shaquille O'Neal has. You mentioned all
these things he endorses. People want to jump at that
opportunity because he's such a great pitch man, and as

(28:57):
funny as it sounds, it does normalize a a problem
for certain people and some people.

Speaker 3 (29:04):
And hey, they must make extra large diapers for this dude.
Good for him.

Speaker 2 (29:07):
I think it's a major story. It's just funny. You're
having fun with it, and it's it is. It is
something that people need. I mean, yeah, not checked though.
I mean he had one one little up.

Speaker 3 (29:17):
We're gonna go.

Speaker 2 (29:18):
I don't know did day Sin Colin calhard diapers when
he had that one incident? Come on, let's go all right,
everyone's got a moment, dude. I think I've ever run
out of the studio mid show like yo, Camino cover.

Speaker 3 (29:27):
For the next view. Come on, Camino just does it
in the studio, I kind of hope, said all right.

Speaker 13 (29:33):
Patrick Mahomes, addressing his his new short haired look ahead
of the draft, Mahomes was asked about the haircut that
he got in between there at the end of last season,
and he discussed how superstition has actually what made him
keep the signature salad on top of his head. He
said he's been wanting to cut his hair for a while,
but they kept winning super Bowls and he didn't want

(29:53):
to rout it. He didn't want to jinx it, so
he told his teammates during last season he says, if
they win three in a row or if they lose,
he's getting a haircut. So he was planning to do
it anyway. He even said he was looking at videos
from last season. He's like, how did you guys let
me walk around with his hair? So he acknowledged how
ridiculous he looked. He says he looks way better now
with the shortcut. Midweek Er major new hair.

Speaker 3 (30:14):
Don't care.

Speaker 2 (30:15):
Mid that's quarterback gets a haircut, and I'm supposed to care.

Speaker 3 (30:20):
I mean, I actually think it's major. Up.

Speaker 2 (30:22):
Yeah, you're doing with a haircut is a major decision,
and for me and for Patrick Mahomes, he's a superstar,
so what he does is important, and I think it's
time for him to move on because I feel like
he started a lot of that burst fait trend and
the broccoli head became a thing, and he's showing, look,
I'm a little more mature than that.

Speaker 3 (30:40):
I'm above that now.

Speaker 2 (30:41):
And it goes to show you the importance of superstition
in sports. He held out to that hairdow just for that.

Speaker 3 (30:47):
That's amazing. So I'm glad he's moving on. That's twenty
five thousand dollars out.

Speaker 4 (30:51):
Pat.

Speaker 2 (30:52):
I know I'm gonna put you on the spot with this,
But Jennifer Aniston was always known as a female that
influenced women's haircut.

Speaker 3 (31:00):
So Rachel was, is there.

Speaker 2 (31:01):
Another I'm trying to think of, there's another athlete or
someone we know that their their cut has influenced them.
They tried to credit Kelsey with the fade cut, but
fades have been around for a long ass dome.

Speaker 14 (31:11):
So in the late nineties early two thousands, whenever Gladiator
came out, all these guys were doing the Gladiator. It
was like, guys, are a haircut kind of receiving hairlines?
Do you kind of comb it forward and get that
hairline fully pushed down?

Speaker 3 (31:23):
And that was like Russell Crowe kind of influenced that.

Speaker 1 (31:27):
Anyone else about how we longed we we talked about
Anthony Mason of the Knicks. The other day people started
carving in words and things to their dome the way
he did.

Speaker 3 (31:36):
Without a doubt. He was not an athlete, but he
is a sports broadcast. Rich you always asked for the
mad Dog. Give me the mad dog.

Speaker 2 (31:43):
That's long on the side, right, it's top Dan Byre
the Boss, the Boss, And I'll steal a Camino joke
for back in the day. Does how we Long ask
for the hul Cogan? Or does hul Cogan ask for
the how we Long?

Speaker 3 (31:55):
We'll never know. This is how we know that the
Hulk Hogan? How we long? Terry Brad you just a
flat tops you run up? How we want?

Speaker 4 (32:04):
I know?

Speaker 3 (32:06):
Does Terry Long ask for the Bosworth? It's a skullet? Yeah, Mabe.

Speaker 2 (32:12):
That I think is major because a lot of people
jumped on what Mahomes did.

Speaker 3 (32:17):
He was a trend center.

Speaker 2 (32:18):
Well, if you see like a Bobby Wood junior who's
got some like you know, he's got some salad. Do
you think young kids are doing that mullet?

Speaker 3 (32:23):
Of course, yeah, definitely. Mine.

Speaker 13 (32:25):
The Athletic has conducted their annual anonymous NBA player poll
and a lot of stats coming out of that. So, uh,
the most league's most overrated player, Tyrese Haliburton named his
most overrated player. He actually has responded to that, saying
that he doesn't care about what anybody thinks. Other revelations
for the poll, Wemby voted most likely to be the
next face of the league, earning fifty four point three

(32:47):
percent of the votes. Kate Cunningham voted most underrated, Warriors
voted the best organization, Hornet's the worst, and let's see. Oh,
a majority of the players actually spoke about the Luca trait,
saying they were just as shocked as the fans, saying
it was the worst move in the history of the NBA.
So a lot of stats online you want to check

(33:08):
on that Midweek or major Now, this is based on
players fighters. This is not player poll, anonymous player poll.

Speaker 3 (33:15):
I think anonymous.

Speaker 2 (33:16):
Now, there have been coaches and people that have come
out today saying I put no stock in anonymous polls bys,
But I think that's when you're gonna get some honesty.

Speaker 3 (33:24):
Yeah, and I think you know who I think should
be the most happy? Whose vote is most underrated?

Speaker 8 (33:29):
Uh?

Speaker 3 (33:29):
It was Kate Cunningham.

Speaker 2 (33:30):
Kay Cunningham, that's a guy now that's thinking, you know,
my peers respect me. And even though Halliburton's saying like
yeah whatever, there's gotta be a part of him. Imagine
if at Fox Sports Radio there was an anonymous vote
and it's like overrated, it was like Steve Cavino, you'd
hate that.

Speaker 3 (33:44):
I mean clearly it would be you that was we
said this. We all know Dan Buyer's a Cavino guy.

Speaker 2 (33:49):
Yeah, yeah, yeah, it was the most underrated Dan Byer man,
So I completely agree with us.

Speaker 3 (33:55):
This is major.

Speaker 2 (33:55):
I think anonymous votes hold more weight. There's more honesty,
more truth and future face in the league. I would
say that's that's Luca, Luca in the face Byby. I
don't know, man, what about you know Luca's only twenty
six years old when he's like it in diapers but
not the shock type like so anyway, Yeah, I think
it holds a lot away. And I think when you
get the nod or the opposite of that from your peers,

(34:18):
it says a lot, no doubt, So major.

Speaker 13 (34:21):
All right, I'll squeeze in a little in via NFL
sorry NFL drafts story since it's tomorrow. So what like
just over twenty five hours away. Cam Wod of course
expected to be the number one pick most likely go
into the Titans. Well, the number one pick who actually
wears number one in college might not be able to
keep his number, and that's because the legendary Warren Moon
holds that number. His number was retired in two thousand

(34:43):
and six. Of course, he was an Oiler before they
moved to Tennessee in nineteen ninety nine. But they actually
asked Moon about it, and he says that he's thinking
about it, but no decision has been made. And of
course they unretired players and unretired numbers in the past,
so we'll see if he gets to keep up with
Ward has actually said if he has to change his number,
he's okay with it Midweek or major.

Speaker 3 (35:04):
I think this is weak sauce.

Speaker 2 (35:06):
And wasn't Warren Moon one of the greatest Actually, I
think one of the most underrated NFL quarterbacks because back
then black quarterbacks weren't respected.

Speaker 3 (35:14):
He lost a lot of great years in the NFL.

Speaker 2 (35:15):
But I think Kavino and I are on the same
page and saying that was the Oilers, this is the
Tennessee Titans. Well, they didn't move. I think Cam wored
should wear number one, and I think, hell out here,
I don't agree with that at all. I think you
honored the legend. You guns say he's a legend and
give his number away.

Speaker 3 (35:28):
He is a gay. It's in the Hall of Fame
for in the Canadian Football League and the na He
never played, never played in Tennessee.

Speaker 2 (35:35):
Can't you guess what Kim woreon? Never played in the NFL.
He could wear another numbers, never played in Tennessee, doesn't.

Speaker 3 (35:39):
Matter they used to. I think you leave Mode's number
a loan. He's number one. Leave alone. He's a retired
Hall of famer. You respect that.

Speaker 2 (35:46):
What was I thinking?

Speaker 3 (35:47):
I thought you were going to make sense? No, don't. Sorry,
I mean they don't. They don't even have numbers left
on the Yankees.

Speaker 2 (35:53):
I think I think it's major to even suggest that
he should give up his number. Oh you know what,
I grew to do some Well, let's go to damn
Buyer for an up. They thank you, spotty boy, Thanks TB.
Are you the Cavino guy in this one? And do
you think cam Word should wear a number one? Because
the Oilers and the Titans, while the same franchise, did
not the same team.

Speaker 3 (36:11):
I am one hundred percent in the Caveno camp.

Speaker 8 (36:14):
Wow.

Speaker 5 (36:15):
Also because it sticks it to the Titans who continue
to hold on to the past of the Oilers. They
won't give it back to Houston. If they did, then
we wouldn't have this problem. But because the Titans are
so greedy in trying to keep their history that doesn't
belong to them. It belongs to the people of Houston
and the surrounding area. They should they should have to

(36:36):
deal with it.

Speaker 2 (36:36):
They should forfeit the Houston Oilers like Legacy Legacy two
maybe the Texans.

Speaker 3 (36:42):
Yes. Absolutely.

Speaker 2 (36:47):
And here's a little trick that always worked on me.
When people were excited to be there, seemed excited, complimented
what I was doing, Like, man, what you'rree is the
coolest thing ever, and I just want to be a
part of that. It always made me the interviewer, feel
good about what I'm doing, So it made me like

(37:08):
them more.

Speaker 3 (37:09):
So I'm like, yeah, this guy, he made me feel cool.
I like him. You're hired.

Speaker 2 (37:13):
There, there's something about there, there's tricks there. You have
any questions from me, yeah, you get that there one yeah, yeah.
But if you leave as the interviewer. If you leave
feeling that that person made you feel good, that does work.

Speaker 3 (37:27):
It really does.

Speaker 2 (37:28):
It works to their advantage because it shows you like
that they wanted to be there, because they envy what
you do, and they.

Speaker 3 (37:34):
Also feel great about it.

Speaker 1 (37:35):
If you research him or her, Covino, whoever's interviewing you
and their company. That way, you're knowledgeable. Damn right, because
too many kids nowadays do not take the time to
find out what they're even stepping into.

Speaker 2 (37:47):
BAM, have a slight general knowledge about the person interviewing.
Interviewing you's history. Danny rich takes a lot of pride.
It's the it's the Rich Davis. Anytime you've ever had
meeting with anyone, I know where they grew up. I
know a college they went to. I know if they
have kids, hold their kids, what teams they root for.
You go into it called Google search or just the

(38:09):
check their so and whatever.

Speaker 3 (38:11):
I think.

Speaker 2 (38:11):
I think being overly prepared for a job interview is
could what. It may get you the job. But any
you would think those things are obvious, and they're not.
They're not big big Mike who kind of runs this place?

Speaker 3 (38:23):
Yeah, somebody say, who for whom? Who held.

Speaker 1 (38:28):
He told us a story about how he interviewed somebody
I think it was last year, and he asked them
how much they listened to the network, and they told
him they've never listened or spend a week prior to
your interview. You know when your interview date is. How
about you listen around the clock prior to your interview
we interviewed They told him, Yeah, I'm not much of
a sports person.

Speaker 2 (38:47):
What I've interviewed people at back of the day serious
exam when we were there and they came in like, yeah,
I don't really know.

Speaker 3 (38:54):
What is it Cyrus Radio? Trying to get a job
here man, and you're what are you thinking? Bad?

Speaker 2 (39:00):
So another thing before we take the sad stories of
your terrible job interviews eight seven, seven, nine nine on
Fox and we'll talk more NFL draft obviously it's draft night.
I am a firm believer in what Cavino said, and
I'll back it up by saying, make the person that's
interviewing you feel cool, feel cool. We would have people
remember interns back in the day. Yeah, I missed the

(39:22):
days of having someone help out for free and they
demanded being paid. Yeah, but it may make sense they
deserve it. No one, No one should work for free.

Speaker 3 (39:31):
Why, well I did.

Speaker 2 (39:31):
It's called you got college credit. Yeah, but still any whatever,
I remember saying, I really don't care about your resume.
We would always have an intern sit in for like
twenty minutes on the show to see what we're what
we're doing. I was judging them based on their body language.
If they were following along with the conversation chuckling, laughing, smiling,
versus someone could be super qualified. But if they sat

(39:53):
there like the whole time, I was like, yeah, we
can't hire that person. They're gonna give me bad vibes.
So we're giving you advice. You know, it's part of
the process of the NFL draft. You have to present
well you do. You have to show that you want
to be a part of this team, part of this organization,
whatever it may be. So with that said, again, major
part of it based on that your worst interview experiences.

(40:14):
I got two stories. With that said, though, how do
you think this plays into the shad or Sanders thing?
Because we heard the mixed messages of some saying, wow,
way too cocky. This guy comes in here saying that
I'm going to change the franchise, and then other people
look at that and say, Wow, that's the kind of
leadership I want. Do you think that is more of
a pro or con If you look at thirty two teams,

(40:35):
what percentage you think think that's a good Think that's
a good thing.

Speaker 3 (40:39):
And would you think it's a good thing.

Speaker 2 (40:40):
Do you have a bunch of veteran leaders there already
where it's gonna rub them the wrong way?

Speaker 3 (40:44):
Do you have a young team that needs leadership?

Speaker 2 (40:46):
And if you have a young team that needs leadership,
he might be that guy you need, and therefore you
appreciate the swag and confidence that he comes with. So
again it's case by case. I do appreciate it if
we're in need for it. So I got two stories.
One I mentioned not too long ago. Rich and I

(41:07):
were up for a morning show gig in New York City,
big time, major opportunity, and he was a new program
director at the time, and he hit us off with
the weirdest question, and based on the question, really determined
the vibe and outcome of the interview. Station got taken
off the air in a year and we would have
lost our job. But yeah, so it worked out to

(41:29):
our benefit.

Speaker 3 (41:29):
But he's like, oh, you guys are living in La now,
huh la. You guys are West Coast guys. Well, you
want to come back to New York. I got one
question for you. They're like, all right.

Speaker 2 (41:41):
He goes, it is the dumbest thing I've ever heard,
But I swear to God gives just played a factor.
This played a major factor. He goes, do you like
Chilula or tap Patillo? He's like, you're Mexican, right, I said,
we have part. He's like, so is it Chilulu or Tapatillo?
And I didn't know what to say. I'm like, oh no,
what do I say?

Speaker 3 (42:02):
Both good? I said?

Speaker 2 (42:05):
And I worked at Bennigan's years ago, right, and we
served Chilula, So I've always liked Chilula is slightly better
than I said, said chi Lula. You know what this
guy said, wrong answer, And you know what, the interview
was all downhill after that, and he basically walked us out.

Speaker 3 (42:22):
We never heard back from the guy.

Speaker 2 (42:25):
If I said too, we may have gotten we may
have got the gig. I think that story he's gotten
out of I think it's gotten out of hand in
your own mind. But I'm telling you, guy, I felt
like I lost the million dollar questions that actually saved
you in the long run. I do think, however, there
there are times where someone just wants, like I think
that answer might be to decide if you are decisive.

Speaker 3 (42:47):
I can't saw it. That's the wrong answer.

Speaker 2 (42:49):
No, But if I said top of teo, the guy
would have got out of a seat, high five me.
And now we're best friends and we're vibing in a
totally different way. He made me feel like a loser.

Speaker 14 (42:58):
Hold on, you're leaving out, like Tabasco and Crystal and
like Louisiana Hot Sung.

Speaker 3 (43:02):
You didn't give me those options, right, you know, That's
all it was. That was the weirdest thing.

Speaker 2 (43:06):
I can't tell you a question like that in an
interview would make a guy like Iowa Sam's headspin off.

Speaker 14 (43:11):
I know, but I was Sam, I can only I
can't pick one? Yeah, he was just said, why not
both get one and flower?

Speaker 2 (43:20):
You ever see one of the like in a movie
or TV show where someone's like, the next words out
of your mouth better be like yes or no. Sam
would be like, but what about the interview process? All right,
I'm decisive, get out of here, all right? Now? The
other story is this, and I think there's a lot
of people nationwide that might remember something similar similar.

Speaker 3 (43:40):
Okay, oh man, I thought of another one.

Speaker 2 (43:43):
I got two, but I'll give you one. Remember when
we were all looking for that summer job before we
kicked into career mode. You're looking for a summer job
on every telephone Paul. Growing up, it was like, if
you want to make thirty to sixty thousand dollars in
the summer, call this number and you ripped a little
tag off. I actually did that, and I ended up,
you know, getting an interview, and I was so pumped

(44:04):
about it. And I put my oversized suit on and
I was like, oh, I'm gonna go there. And I
sat in his crappy office with wood panels and crappy
awards all over the place, and like he seeming like
the guy kind of guy we need your go get her.
You know, He's like you're hired. I'm hired to do what?
And he's like come back tomorrow. Like, I guess I
got a job. I came home all proud of my parents.

(44:26):
I got a job making sixty thousand in a summer.
I went back on a job. Man, They're like, come back,
came back the next day. They're like, all right, well,
here's these knives and they start cutting work boots and
they're like, they're called the Cutcoe Knives and you're a
door to the door and sell these knives. But you
got to pay for all these knives. Yeah, not to
being like what, I'm not this, I'm selling knives. I

(44:48):
don't want this stupid job. I was sent two days
on this. So that's another one. And how many of
us fell into some sort of pyramid scheme thing or
what was the name of that company that they tried
to get you to work for when you were in
college all the time time it was those pyramid scheme
things and you get a.

Speaker 3 (45:03):
Couple of people to sign up.

Speaker 2 (45:04):
Yeah yeah, I was like, nah, but that happened to everybody, everybody,
because I guess we're all vulnerable trying to make up.
Does everyone have one friend in high school of college
that sold knives? My parents owned the set of knives
because they felt bad by buddy Jeff Kotko. And by
the way, I hear, they're great, But I wasn't trying
to cut a work boot or a penny just to
make some money during my summer.

Speaker 1 (45:26):
I have a high school friend who still does that,
and on his Facebook page he's always bragging about all
the trips he's taken and everything.

Speaker 3 (45:32):
He calls himself the knife King dude.

Speaker 2 (45:34):
See now, I feel like I blew it. I swear
you know what you could have been knife King. You
could have been a lot of things.

Speaker 3 (45:39):
You know, you've watched late night television.

Speaker 14 (45:40):
There's like cutlery Corner that always comes on, like it's
like paid programming, and some guys like cutting through all
these different things.

Speaker 3 (45:46):
Why do I need to cut through a work boot?
I'm not going to eat a work boot?

Speaker 4 (45:49):
Bro?

Speaker 2 (45:49):
What was that Ponzi scheme that went on in our
college days? Everyone was trying to get you in. It
had like a binder full.

Speaker 3 (45:57):
Of this guy and you work for this guy. And
then I feel like there's a lot of young women
like verbal supplements.

Speaker 2 (46:03):
I feel like there's a lot of young women that
sell like makeup products, like yeah, but one of our
old coworkers like Bamboozo Cavino and like, oh, by for
my girlfriend.

Speaker 3 (46:10):
Don't you still buy products with this woman? Yeah? Yeah,
that's Herbal life was a big one.

Speaker 2 (46:16):
Verbal life was yeah, yeah, but again it's part of
like you're being duped during this interview and you think
your life's gonna change.

Speaker 3 (46:23):
So weird interview moments.

Speaker 2 (46:25):
As a guy who did interviews, right, I'll never forget this,
and it's just a weird thing. It goes back to
what Rich was saying before. It's a body language thing, right,
It's like, how how bad do you want to be here?
To me? If you're in an interview, and if Shadora
Sanders is interviewing with the Giants or whoever, dude, he
takes his jacket off, he sits there real eager and
excited about it. He's like, yeah, tell me more about

(46:46):
the Giants. I want to be here and play for
the Giants. You got to show some sort of enthusiasm, right.
I remember interviewing a guy and Rich knows the story.
He kept his coat on the whole time.

Speaker 3 (46:56):
He kept his scarf on the whole I get a
stiff now.

Speaker 2 (46:59):
He was Bobby the brain heenen And it wasn't like
it wasn't a stylish scarf. It was like a bundled
up scarf up to his neck, up to his chin.
And the whole time he's like this and yeah, like
all stiff, and I'm like, can this guy relax? Is
to me, it showed he didn't want to be here,
and I'm like, yeah, you're not getting the job.

Speaker 1 (47:18):
Speaking of not wanting to be there, I have audio.
This came to mind when we were brainstorming this topic
this morning. I was thinking of the two of you
in the same room interviewing with somebody together at the
same time, and this came to mind.

Speaker 3 (47:30):
Right here.

Speaker 10 (47:30):
Listen, Coyle Brennan, you certainly have had a lot of jobs.

Speaker 3 (47:33):
I'm a bit of a spark plug and human resources lady.
Oh no, it's actually it's Pam. I'm sorry, well, Pan, No,
my name is Pam. Are you saying Pan or Pam?

Speaker 2 (47:47):
I'm saying Pam.

Speaker 11 (47:49):
Yeah, I'm sorry.

Speaker 3 (47:49):
Who's this gentleman sitting behind you?

Speaker 12 (47:52):
Hello, miss lady.

Speaker 3 (47:53):
I'm Dale.

Speaker 12 (47:54):
I'm Brendan's stepbrother and I.

Speaker 3 (47:55):
Think I might be able to help with a Pan
Pam dilemma.

Speaker 4 (47:59):
Yeah, that'd be great.

Speaker 3 (48:03):
There's no d.

Speaker 12 (48:06):
It's it's like calm.

Speaker 8 (48:09):
A M and.

Speaker 12 (48:13):
No, there's just one M.

Speaker 2 (48:15):
You know what that reminds me of it? It reminds
me that I have to watch step brothers. I haven't
watched it in years. I'm overdue such a class.

Speaker 3 (48:22):
And by the way, don't you.

Speaker 2 (48:22):
Wish you could watch the interview process like sometimes to
see how and why things maybe didn't pan out, panned
pan out, Pam, Pam, Pam panned out. I think because
if anything, if you get anything from the stupid spin
we're putting on this, guys, it's the importance of the
interview process. You could be the greatest athlete in the world,

(48:45):
but maybe you were just a terrible interview. And again,
if you're going to be the face of a of
a team or a franchise, you've got to be able
to represent man. You have to have some sort of
ability to represent an interview and present in a good way.
I'll compare to something else very important in life. I
because of what we do in the nature of us,
just you know, having the ability to chat. It's like

(49:08):
a first date. I was always a good I was
always a tremendous first date. Maybe a terrible second date
and a terrible third date and so on. But it's
like a first date. A job interview is a first date.
It's leaving a good impression, and you know, maybe that's
maybe there's more reason more than meets the eye as
to why certain things didn't happen. A lot of these
players like, oh, why didn't he go there? Why didn't

(49:28):
they get him? Maybe he was a terrible first date,
you know. So these are things we never truly really
know the details of. But worst interview story, I just
know that if your team chooses someone peculiar or they
pass on someone, it could very well be that or
bad during during a very important time during the combine,
during the interviews, that this player rubs someone the wrong way.

(49:50):
There could be someone super talented that you're like, yeah,
I'm not feeling this person. Now there's a test that
I think I was Sam would pass because I know
he is a man of integrity. Would you say I
was Samuel R.

Speaker 3 (50:03):
I mean, he's definitely a man are a man of
many things. Board a producer, I was Sam. He can't
pick just one. I saw.

Speaker 2 (50:10):
There's a few executives that said they do something called
the coffee cup test, and I feel like you would
pass this. What they do is they interview someone it's
morning usually, so they'll they almost like insist upon, like, hey,
let's go to the kitchen and get a coffee and
you know whatever the company has, like, oh, someone brought
in donuts. You go in for the interview, and the
whole test is, really, do you clean up after yourself?

(50:34):
Are you the a hole that's like that you leave
the empty coffee cup in the boss's office, Like, are
you the person that's like, I'll throw it out, Let
me get yours too, Like it's almost a test. It's
almost like the shopping car test, like you return your car,
like if someone offered you Kubino, We went out with
a big executive and they offered your cup of coffee
and you left, but you left your empty, dirty cup
of coffee on their desk. Well, if you don't think

(50:55):
that in charge, you're in charge of making these important decisions,
aren't take not to that?

Speaker 3 (51:00):
I think everybody's wrong.

Speaker 2 (51:01):
You know, they're trying to see what type of man
you are in this situation with the leader, which what
kind of example you're gonna set and be I remember,
I'm never gonna remember, So maybe it's worthless to bring up.
But there was a draft story where someone went out
it might have been a free free agent acquisition, and
someone was rubbed the wrong way by the player not

(51:25):
making eye contact. With the server or like talking down
to the bus boy to the point where I never
it was a free agency or draft or something.

Speaker 3 (51:33):
And it it blew.

Speaker 2 (51:34):
They were like, we don't we don't want them anymore.
We don't want them, like they got the from a dinner.
They assessed, like yeah, but yeah, doesn't it make sense.
Don't you make those assessments if I did, If I
was on a day with a woman that talked down
to a server, it's over. So imagine you imagine if
you were investing millions and millions of dollars. All these
things matter. Guys, your phone calls and feedback, next old

(51:57):
school and fifty hits, your worst job interviews ever. Yeah, buddy,
hour and nine minutes from the NFL draft, And I
know Danny said Raiders wont genty the same way last
year they wanted Michael Pennix Junior. You know, I have
a clear visual of Danny g like cheering about Pennix Junior,
like got a good I feel like you wrapped up

(52:19):
the show like a year ago today I did, let's
go PENNI yes, yes, as I remember when it didn't happen,
I felt so disappointed for you. But they got front Powers, right,
So you know that worked out just as good. But
you know it's uh, it is interesting because there's always
a couple of surprises. Draft night Genty is who you
want a lot of speculation that the Patriots are going

(52:41):
to try to make a splash or Jacksonville or one
of the teams earlier than the Raiders, But we shall see.
Wasn't it Joe Shane's son who last year said go
Jayden Daniels he didn't, And then this year he said,
Jackson Dart dad, And what did we get?

Speaker 3 (52:58):
Jackson Dart Dad?

Speaker 2 (52:59):
Ye?

Speaker 3 (53:00):
How cool was that?

Speaker 2 (53:01):
And I do think that, Like I said, Giants fans
were pumped about it, and I was pumped for friends
of mine. I have a lot of Giants friends who
wanted that to happen. So I was pumped for him
and pumped for my friends. And when Ashton Genty went
to the Raiders, I was super pumped for you, Danny
g because last year you wanted Pennix Junior and you

(53:23):
got Hoes, But this time you got what you wanted.

Speaker 3 (53:24):
So you know, I was pumped for you, and I
was pumped for him.

Speaker 2 (53:27):
You know what, when you hear the first syllable of
someone's name and you know it's not. I was when
the Jags and well they traded up, but when the
Patriots did not go with genty, when they're like and
their pick is and I didn't hear ash.

Speaker 3 (53:42):
I was like, Danny, g's gotta be set up.

Speaker 1 (53:44):
Like we talked about on the show yesterday. I didn't
think the Patriots were going to go running back, but
I did think when the Jack said we're going to
make a splash, I thought that they were going to
stand in the way at five. So once they traded
up to two. Scott Shapiro was here in the main
studio and he looked at me and he's like, clear
path now, And I was like, clear path, dude.

Speaker 2 (54:00):
I thought of you, Danny, only because you and a
lot of Raiders fans I know, wanted gent And I'm
not want to make predictions like, well, this guy's gonna
but with Pete Carroll running that team and he is
run heavy what he did with Marshawn Lynch.

Speaker 3 (54:14):
A lot of people pointed this out, And don't forget
Chip Kelly. Now the OC he knows to run the ball,
and this could be like a perfect scenario for this time.
It's perfect because Gino Smith, you know, he could throw
and he could run, and you got this guy there too.

Speaker 1 (54:27):
So and Gino's best. I think TV would back me
up on this. I think Gino is better suited for
play action when he's got a good runner next to him.
That's when he's most effective.

Speaker 5 (54:38):
Absolutely, Seahawks just could haven't get anybody healthy enough to
turnin to stay on the field.

Speaker 3 (54:43):
Kenth Walker is good for twelve games. But yeah, I agreed,
I know who my favorite was.

Speaker 2 (54:46):
I don't want to skip too far ahead, but towards
the end of the first round, when the Buffalo Bills
picked Maxwell Harriston, this is the guy that was like
loving and hugging and bro hugging everyone his enthusiasm. Not
to sound like I'm you know, boy, I got a
little emotional. My wife's like you, okay, I'm like this kid,
I'm so happy for him. I don't even I don't
know a thing about him, but his enthusiasm was contagious.

Speaker 15 (55:09):
You have hugged every single prospect that has been called
before you tonight. Now it is your moment. How does
it feel to trade Kentucky blue in for Buffalo blue Man?

Speaker 3 (55:19):
This is I can't believe it's going on right now.

Speaker 14 (55:21):
I got also thank for I'm so pleased, man, I'm
so happy to hear my name Chus.

Speaker 3 (55:26):
Truly a dream Coachu.

Speaker 15 (55:27):
I give all thanks to God and your family. You
love them so much. You are wearing them with your
heart and soul. Tonight, show us your jack everywhere.

Speaker 3 (55:35):
They with me everywhere I go. I love my family, man,
my biggest support system.

Speaker 15 (55:41):
Congratulations and Western New York's gonna love you.

Speaker 3 (55:44):
Let's get to work, Bufalo. Yeah, you gotta love the
reaction and the emotion. And you know it's for their family.

Speaker 2 (55:52):
It's the hard work they put in, and it's that
little kid they once were and making that dream come true.

Speaker 3 (55:57):
And you heard that throughout the night. And that's what
makes you so fun, no doubt your observation. Do you
want to go the phone?

Speaker 2 (56:02):
Yeah, let's do it eight seven, seven ninety nine on
Fox eight ninety nine on Fox Any observation from last
night our NFL Draft edition.

Speaker 3 (56:13):
Of Things that made You go Well.

Speaker 2 (56:14):
We are live from the Fox Sports Radio studio and
for over forty years, ty Iraq has been helping customers
find the right tires for how what and where they
drive ship fast and free back by. Free Road has
a protection and convenient installation options like mobile tire installation. Okay,
so before we go to the phones, I do want
to point out a very viral moment that I'm sure
you're so over and over again. So I'll get this
out of the way. Offensive linemen from Texas Kevin Banks

(56:38):
June Calvin Banks, I'm sorry, no, Kevin, isn't it Kevin
Kelvin Kelvin Banks. Kelvin Banks Junior gets drafted by the
Saints and he's a little baby at the shot so good,
and immediately the little baby throws up and everyone's zooming
in on it. It goes viral and that was definitely
a big moment because you're like, yeah, they're in the

(56:59):
middle of all the all the fun that happens.

Speaker 3 (57:01):
People like, is it because the Saints.

Speaker 2 (57:02):
Or hel my my uh my wife was the first
to point that out, because you know, I'm watching the
bigger picture.

Speaker 3 (57:09):
She's like, oh, cute baby.

Speaker 2 (57:11):
She has baby fever and I'm like, no, we're not
having a third So she's like, oh, look at the baby,
and she's she's like didn't you see that. I'm like
see what you rewind I did.

Speaker 3 (57:19):
It until you know it went viral on social media.
Baby probably just had a bottle.

Speaker 2 (57:24):
I'm not saying they shook the baby, but the excitement
in the excite, but the excitement just just moving a
baby like that around that little We've all had kids
that little spit out.

Speaker 14 (57:33):
It's not like the Exorcist, Linda Bleir, No, it was
rejectile vomiting. He was a little spit up here. So
hard to miss that one.

Speaker 2 (57:39):
But really, you know, as you always talk about, those
are the moments that the family will talk about forever.
That kid's gonna be grown up and the stories be
like and then when your dad got drafted, you threw
up all that's gonna be the family story.

Speaker 3 (57:52):
All right, Let's go to Jeff and Marilyn. Jeff, you're
on seeing our Hey, Jeff.

Speaker 11 (57:56):
Hey Fellows. I think it's hilarious. Good.

Speaker 8 (58:00):
Probably not.

Speaker 11 (58:01):
You know, he's sort of a skin he's sort of
a frail guy. I don't think he's too big. But
one of observations I had was these big bear hugs
that come out and just just trap him, like he's
almost like a rag doll where his head goes right
into the almost their belly like I would break treval vertebrate.

Speaker 2 (58:20):
Let me tell you he gets there, he gets picked up,
tossed out and some of these intense like handshake into
bro hugs.

Speaker 3 (58:26):
Like those are not gentle like I guarantee at the
end of.

Speaker 14 (58:29):
The night, he's like Day, who is a twenty seventh.
I think he gave him that long long he picked
him up. He gave him the old spine stretch. I
don't know, Dan, if you uh, I don't let me
get my charts out later in the draft, but in
the first round.

Speaker 3 (58:42):
But he really held on to him for a long time,
like stars. He was starks. Yeah, it was yep, and
he was joyful about it too. What else do we got,
David in Texas? What's up, Dave wed Hey, how's it going?

Speaker 11 (58:55):
I got two?

Speaker 9 (58:56):
I got two things. Man, you stole my thunder with
the with the bills pick, but I'll send you this
other one. When the guys were joking around on stage,
Saban wasn't laughing much too much at all, and stuff
like that. So that's one thing observation I took. And
the other one I want to send out my love
to the Pittsburgh Cedar Pick. His mom died all respects,

(59:17):
God's taking care of her. Peace out, guys, Yeah.

Speaker 2 (59:19):
Is he talking Derek, Derek Harmon, Yeah, Derek Harmon. You
know what's interesting about that pick too, is this's clear
that they went defensive tackle, so they totally passed on
a QB, which means they're leaving it open for Aaron Rodgers.
That's what makes you go, hmm, that's the biggest story there.
It's like, really, they're they're really banking on Rogers. They

(59:41):
must have a lot more confidence than than we as
fans do. Well, that's how you know what he has left.

Speaker 3 (59:46):
That's how you know. Could you know that a Aaron
Rodgers is in the mix?

Speaker 2 (59:48):
And also absolutely that Shadoor who's rubbing people the wrong way?

Speaker 3 (59:55):
Those are the moments.

Speaker 2 (59:55):
There were two times where I told my wife, who
was like half aass paying attention, like babe, babe, come here,
I think it's gonna happen. And when the Saints passed
him early, I'm like, oh, then he might go to
twenty one the Steelers. And then when the Steelers you
heard a different again. It's like when the Academy Awards,
when you hear the first syllable the first name, and
it wasn't should You're.

Speaker 3 (01:00:11):
Like, oh my god, yeah, congratsate Derek Harmon of Oregon.
So you have to imagine that now, Yeah, that that's happened.
We're gonna get a Rogers update any minute, not only
a Rodgers update. I think there's still the big surprise tonight, Cove.
You know, like, who will want Shador Sanders? Yeah?

Speaker 1 (01:00:32):
In fact, even President Trump has weighed in on Sanders.
You want me to read it really quick.

Speaker 3 (01:00:37):
I love you to read it. What is wrong with
NFL owners? Are they stupid?

Speaker 1 (01:00:42):
Dion Sanders was a great college football player and was
even greater in the NFL. He's also a very good coach,
street wise and smart. Therefore, Shador, his quarterback son, has
phenomenal genes and is all set for greatness. Trump wrote
in a truth social post he should be picked immediately
by a tea that wants to win all capitals. Good luck, Shua,

(01:01:02):
door and say hello to your wonderful father.

Speaker 2 (01:01:04):
Well like we said fuel to the fire, as he
said fuel to the fire legendary. I hate to say,
but we're not kids anymore. Some twenty something year kid
comes into Fox Sports and he's like, yo, I'm going
to change the culture here. I'm the man that could
be interpreted a yo. I like his fire. I want

(01:01:25):
him part of this team? Or who the f do
you think you are? So it really is in the
ear of the beholder, the eye of the beholder.

Speaker 5 (01:01:34):
Let me ask you guys this because this is one
of my thoughts in a league that is so dependent
on quarterback that we saw it in this draft.

Speaker 3 (01:01:42):
Were cam Ward's number one? Yeah?

Speaker 5 (01:01:44):
Who is the eighth best prospect by Daniel Jeremiah on
this draft board. Throughout the draft process, we've heard that
the six quarterbacks that went last year all would have
gone before cam Ward, you know in this draft? Yeah,
So what point is it that it's just he's not
up to that level, Like there've always been quarterbacks to
that point. And I completely agree that there are things

(01:02:06):
that can rub a team the wrong way and if
you're fifty to fifty about someone, but I just feel
it's such the total package and if he can't play
and everything else comes with it, then you're gonna fall
Like teams weren't even willing. Tennessee took a risk in
taking cam Ward because they feel they need a quarterback.
Nobody else wanted to do that in the first round
outs of the Giants trading up to try to get Shador.

(01:02:28):
I mean, at some point you can point to everything,
but you gotta look within Dan.

Speaker 2 (01:02:34):
That's a great point because we've talked about how, hey,
a guy that's been in the league one or two
years that has sort of struggled, why we quick to
write him off and automatically think just because someone's in
the draft this year. Like I said, they ranked last
year's six qbs that got drafted ahead of cam Ward
who went number one. Dude, when you saw Pittsburgh pass
on him, yeah, and just really fun when they pass

(01:02:57):
on him, I am immediately thought, well, man be banking
on Rogers Leggs must be all in that basket. But
also fundamentally like to think we have other needs at
other positions, and we don't think shouldor is the guy
if you're taking a non when I say sexy position,
if it's not a quarterback, running back, or wide receiver,

(01:03:18):
when your team picks an O line or a you know.

Speaker 3 (01:03:21):
I think it absolutely shows that team.

Speaker 2 (01:03:24):
But I'm thinking bigger if you think on the positive
side of things, though, maybe that's exactly what Sanders needs,
which is a reality check, right, And it's the flash
and it really benefits him in the long run because
it forces him to step up in every way, call
some humility, some.

Speaker 3 (01:03:40):
Some extra work.

Speaker 2 (01:03:42):
It's the flashy pick versus the realist, sible pick, a
sensible pick. And I've joked with you about how in baseball,
you know that always happens when the team has a
managerial opening, and the team always wants the new manager
to be like a former player.

Speaker 3 (01:03:58):
Everyone liked it like that. Why don't we always think
that that's the.

Speaker 2 (01:04:01):
Guy that's gonna be able to lead your team. Every
franchise in baseball manager gets fired. You know what they say,
You know, is there someone from our World Series winning
team from like a decade ago or so that could
lead this team? That's the pick that like today, if
the Steelers had chosen Shador, we would all be talking
about Pittsburgh then the Steelers today. But they said, you

(01:04:22):
know what, that's not what we need in this moment.
And again, humility or not, Hey, humility or not. Everybody's
talking about him. So he does have that going for right,
Is there a party that says you'd do it to yourself.
But hey, he accepts that responsibility and that pressure because
I said, the two places people were last night, right,
they were all backstage and what looked like in Ashley

(01:04:43):
Furniture warehouse chilling out together, or they were at home
with their families on you know, middle class family recliners.
Chador was the one guy that had a special setup.
I mean, aren't you already now with that in that moment.

Speaker 3 (01:04:59):
I he did a sound proofed room and a sound
man for his concert he put on in there.

Speaker 2 (01:05:05):
So that's saying that's what rubbed people the wrong way
a little bit, but that's also who he is.

Speaker 3 (01:05:09):
But maybe this is what he needs, this is what
puts them where he needs to be to the noise.

Speaker 1 (01:05:15):
Or does he just not care because he heard all
this going into the draft and he did rub some
teams the wrong way in the interview process. But to
DB's point, when you look at his numbers and which
teams he played against, it wasn't really comparable to Jackson
Dart because of the competition Jackson Dart went up against,

(01:05:36):
and so Rich I saw a great article last night
that said his numbers matched more closely to brock Purty
than Jackson than to Jackson Dart. So, I mean it's
not that schadors could can't be a great player, is
a great athlete. And like your boy said, even though
they're coming down on or a Lobsky right now, he's
the one that said I think he has elite field

(01:05:57):
vision and he's a great athlete. We just don't know
enough about him because of the competition and the bad
o line that he had.

Speaker 3 (01:06:04):
Yeah, we we talked about that. He's hard to evaluate.

Speaker 2 (01:06:08):
It's like a nice way of saying he's a he's
an empty fahida, all sizzle, no no substance.

Speaker 3 (01:06:14):
No meat, you know, just a question mark, like you
don't know.

Speaker 2 (01:06:19):
But I'm not saying he's an empty fehida. I'm just
saying that he's a lot of flash. It's like when
that waiter comes out with that SiZ in fida, everybody
looks like.

Speaker 3 (01:06:27):
Ooh, an old fashion with smoke that comes at it.

Speaker 8 (01:06:30):
Oh.

Speaker 3 (01:06:31):
But you know, but maybe he's not all that great.
We don't know. I haven't had it yet, you know.

Speaker 5 (01:06:35):
Daniel Jeremiah told the story to the guys on barstool
about Paxton Lynch, former Broncos first round back and he
said that he went to the to the bowl game.
I believe it was that Memphis was playing and noticed
that Paxton Lynch wasn't talking to other UH coaches or
other teammates on the sidelines. It was kind of by

(01:06:56):
himself that there wasn't like this engagement process. We laugh
about the Draft Day movie and the theory of like
how many players went to your birthday party?

Speaker 3 (01:07:04):
The whole deal.

Speaker 5 (01:07:05):
We laugh at the questions that are asked these players
in the combine. You know, if you were couldn't wear
blue jeans, what color pants do you wear? What animal
would you be? But all of that is taken into account,
so to also think of everything that comes with shador like, yeah,
it plays into it like it has to.

Speaker 2 (01:07:22):
I mean, I talked to the coffee did we hear
or was Mantu? And I talked about how employers. I
saw an article about the coffee test where they offer
you a cup of coffee during the interview and they
see if you throw out your cup of coffee at
the end or you leave it there for someone else
to throw it away, Like it looks like little quarterback
is a super special position. Obviously a leadership position too,
where you know, are you the type of guy that's

(01:07:44):
gonna rub people the wrong way, or you the type
of guy that's gonna that's gonna lead by example. Where
the players want to fight for you, and when you're
separating yourself like you're already the superstar, it's kind of
hard to be one with the rest of the team,
you know, and it puts you in a different place
like do you want to fight for the guy that
separates himself from the pack, or do you want to

(01:08:04):
fight for the guy that's just one of the guys.
That's what made me love Maxwell Harston, who the Buffalo
Bills picked, because not only did he come out with enthusiasm,
and you know, it just seems such like it is
such a sincere, loving dude. He was bro hugging and
really excited for everyone else, and there was a part
of him that you felt like, that's a guy you

(01:08:26):
want on your team. Yeah, you know, I don't know
if anyone else has heard this. Second shout out to
our buddy Michael Yo today listening in Vegas.

Speaker 3 (01:08:33):
He's here. Is he your ghost writer?

Speaker 4 (01:08:36):
No?

Speaker 3 (01:08:37):
No, No, he's a big He's a Miami guy, so
he's a big you know. What Riches had some good
points lately.

Speaker 2 (01:08:41):
I think he's getting it from Michael yo Yo said
he's a big cam Ward guy. And a big mistake
Shaudor made perhaps is that he did a workout with
cam Ward and a lot of people from that workout
came away saying that cam Ward looked a lot better
than Shador in that in that workout together. So you
know that's another thing too, like you don't want to

(01:09:02):
go to the bar with a better looking to do
trying to pick up women.

Speaker 3 (01:09:04):
Right, But let's let's all make this clear.

Speaker 2 (01:09:08):
We all grew up fans of his dad, right, and
we go all got excited when we started seeing him play.
Anyone's yeah, I don't think anyone's rooting for the guy.
I mean not rooting for the guy. We're all rooting
for the guy. So we're just speculating on well, what
is it then, because we're all rooting for him. And
if I were to say rich I'm not one to great.
I think the teams that stand out are the Giants,

(01:09:30):
and we said that yesterday and they made some sweet moves.

Speaker 3 (01:09:33):
The Giants with Carter and Dart, the Titans with Ward,
the Jags with Hunter, and Danny g your Raiders man genty. Yeah,
you can't.

Speaker 2 (01:09:43):
You can'tnot include your Raiders with some sweet moves or
something be excited about, especially when you think about the
other moves they made this offseason.

Speaker 3 (01:09:50):
So who are you most excited about? Rich or are there?

Speaker 2 (01:09:54):
Is there another team I'm forgetting about, say Giants, the Titans, Jags, Raiders,
Niners took Mikhael Williams out of Georgia.

Speaker 3 (01:10:03):
He listen, edge Rusher opposite Nick Bosa. Some liked it,
some didn't. So listen. Everyone has their needs, right, everybody
has their needs.

Speaker 2 (01:10:10):
But as far as like sexy, I think those are
the teams that stood out like, ooh those are those
are some nice moves. Now, I was gonna say Brandon
who works here, who's a big Niners fan, that I'll
be a'll be truthful. He's more knowledgeable than me when
you dig down deeper, like he's he's a fanat he's
a maniac.

Speaker 3 (01:10:24):
In fact, he did not like to pick right. I
was saying, yeah no. He immediately after came out, he says,
I hate this pick ah. But but then again, you
know what I saw it float around.

Speaker 2 (01:10:33):
I put on my Instagram story if you want to
see it at Rich Davis the clip of those fans
saying Josh All we wanted Josh Rosen. And then there's
a clip right after that attached to the same clip
where it's the Chiefs fan saying Patrick Mahomes, there's no
wonder this team will never win. So you know every
year the swings and misses people miss it happens, which

(01:10:53):
a lot.

Speaker 1 (01:10:53):
Quite a few of the mock drafts leading up to
this had your Niners going with Will Johnson, the corner
from Michigan.

Speaker 3 (01:11:00):
Now I saw that too.

Speaker 1 (01:11:01):
He was injured last season, but aside from that, he
is a great defensive back. He's available right now. That's
one of the other things that makes the top of
the second round here exciting because will the Browns right
off the bat go with Shador And once we get
then to the Raiders at thirty seven, would they go
with Shador to sit behind Geno Smith? Because that's kind

(01:11:23):
of the comp That was the comp for Shadoor yesterday
on a lot of the shows was his ceiling is
kind of like Geno Smith right now, you'd be pumped
for that, Danny Geno. I mean, I think the Raiders
I think the Raiders have some bigger needs. They definitely
need some help in their defensive backfield. If Will Johnson
is sitting there at thirty seven, I would go that route.
But I haven't been this hyped about a second round

(01:11:44):
for a long time.

Speaker 2 (01:11:45):
You know what tight ends? Dan Byer is the true
first time this many tight ends in the first round.
I believe I heard that stat being thrown around too.

Speaker 3 (01:11:53):
At least two yeah, yeah, Loveland and Loveland. Yeah.

Speaker 5 (01:11:57):
And there are a couple of other tight ends two
in this draft that are that could be a variety
could be picked in the first fifteen picks or so.

Speaker 3 (01:12:07):
Mason Taylor of LSU is one the other. Some big
wide receivers.

Speaker 2 (01:12:12):
We've all noticed over the last decade the increased role
offensively of tight ends in the NFL. So you know,
some of these guys looking to make a Brunck Bowers
type of impact.

Speaker 5 (01:12:20):
Right, true, and and but it hasn't gone to the
Jimmy Graham like. The more you block, I think is
more intriguing. Now you love a Swiss army life like
Tyler Warren as well, but like you have to you
now have to line up and be able to hit somebody.

Speaker 3 (01:12:35):
You want to see a guy like George Kittle mo
people over and look like a maniac.

Speaker 5 (01:12:39):
Yeah, yeah, I think you know he's obviously been on.
Gronk is obviously the standard bearer.

Speaker 3 (01:12:44):
But yeah, for sure. Do you Mason Taylor a very
famous father and famous aunt. Do you know Tim the
Toolman Taylor?

Speaker 14 (01:12:51):
No, it's his aunt is Joy Taylor, and and then
her brother is of course give me Flincoln. His first name,
Jason Taylor, the uh Mason Taylor. I've been watching for
a few years. The guy's really good, really good.

Speaker 2 (01:13:03):
Look at that talent in the family, talent and the fam.
So to wrap this all up, because we got games
to play and we can hob nobn.

Speaker 3 (01:13:10):
I think Danny g hit it perfectly.

Speaker 2 (01:13:11):
So all the things that happened yesterday make today's round
two even more exciting. I'm gonna be I'm gonna sound
like I'm the host of the Bachelor. This is the
most exciting round two ever. I've never cared about round
two exactly as much as I've cared about this year's
round two. So I wrap up the conversation with this question.
Look at the beginning of round two, where does shador

(01:13:32):
go what do you think, Danny?

Speaker 3 (01:13:36):
Where? Where did you think?

Speaker 4 (01:13:36):
You think?

Speaker 2 (01:13:37):
You know, there's a lot of speculation too, and a
lot of people. I don't know if people just want
to see drama. I guess who think that he might
not go at all? I I dis agree with this.

Speaker 1 (01:13:46):
The Saints are coming up at forty, so wouldn't surprise
if he slips down past the Browns and the Raiders.
That would put him the fortieth pick overall to the Saints.

Speaker 2 (01:13:55):
All right, Round two we start with Cleveland. Houston's got
their quarterback, Titans, no click Raiders in there?

Speaker 3 (01:14:05):
What about the Raiders at thirty seven? You have no interest?
Gino is like you like? Is that?

Speaker 1 (01:14:11):
It's not that I don't have any interest if Will
Johnson is there. Yeah, I was saying I would go
cornerback first.

Speaker 2 (01:14:16):
But I'm saying, with Tom Brady and his relationship with
Primetime and the fact that you got genty, you got
brock Bowers, you're building a pretty sweet offense, and.

Speaker 1 (01:14:26):
Gino, you know, too many holes on the defensive side
of the ball for the Raiders right now.

Speaker 2 (01:14:31):
I think he's going to go the Raiders think, and
I think he fits in with the Raiders nice. I
don't know, he just feels like a he'd look good
in silver and black Bady.

Speaker 5 (01:14:39):
I told Danny a month ago, I think the Raiders
are destined to take Jalen Milroe because that is the
Chip Kelly.

Speaker 3 (01:14:46):
Yep, that's and Harrell.

Speaker 8 (01:14:48):
Uh.

Speaker 5 (01:14:48):
You know Pete Carroll would always take shots with Russell Wilson.
They take four or five shots in a game. But
you'd love the mobility of Jalen Milroe.

Speaker 2 (01:14:57):
I have a crazy question if some some way Chador
doesn't go to the Raiders at thirty seven, the fifth
pick in the second round, if he again goes past
the Saints without getting picked, which would seem crazy. If
he doesn't go with pick forty to the Saints, well,
did he pay rent for two nights of the party
room or no?

Speaker 3 (01:15:14):
How does that work place,
