And it's time for Last one Standing.

Speaker 3 (00:22):
So you have five seconds to battle for your sports
trivia love n Put your electronic devices down and pick
your sports knowledge.

this famous buzzer. Don't want to hear that about that

playing for a NERF Turbo Football. It is Caleb in Missouri.

I'm in a restaurant and we are open on Thanksgiving.

Speaker 3 (01:52):
Forward to that.

Speaker 2 (01:53):
All right? Cool. By the way, Spot is the fact
checker during this game. I hate it so much, a
lot of anxiety for him, So be patient as he
checks answers. When I say your name, the clock is
going to start the first category, the Curse of JaMarcus Russell.
You have five You have five seconds to name one
of the starting quarterbacks for the Oakland or Las Vegas
Raiders since two thousand and seven. Oh boy, there's just

(02:16):
over twenty answers on the board since two thousand and
seven Oakland Las Vegas slash Las Vegas Raiders starting quarterback.
All right, Covino, you're gonna be a first starting right now.

Speaker 1 (02:26):
Go growing blanks.

Speaker 2 (02:29):
Oh there's some obvious ones.

Speaker 1 (02:30):

Derek Carr, Oh, of course he's on the list.

Speaker 1 (03:36):
Marcus Mariota. Uh nonetheless.

Speaker 2 (03:41):
Great? Did he not start?

Speaker 5 (03:42):
No?

Speaker 1 (03:44):
Yeah, no on my list.

Speaker 2 (03:46):
Wait, I think he only went into games as a backup. Sorry, Rich,
Oh no, that means Rich is the last one standing
in that.

Speaker 1 (03:57):
Easy.

Speaker 4 (03:57):
Rich is on some sort of strange winning The Garoppolo
was a good pull Ridge minshew. That was the only
other one I had to buy.

Speaker 1 (04:06):
Culpepper.

Speaker 2 (04:09):
My favorite was Jason Campbell.

Speaker 1 (04:11):

Speaker 1 (04:16):
Let's see Gradkowski.

Speaker 4 (04:20):
Oh yeah, who was right before car though, That's what
I was trying to think, Right before Car would have
been Matt Flynn.

Speaker 1 (04:29):
Yeah, Flynn. Okay, Yeah, that's where I was like, Oh.

Speaker 2 (04:32):
No, Second category, Kings of the Court. You have five
seconds to name an NBA player who leads the association
so far this season and most points scored per game.
All right, we'll take the top twenty.

Speaker 1 (04:46):
This is such a trick question because everybody's hurt.

Speaker 2 (04:50):
There's still a lot of stars on this top twenty
list though.

Speaker 1 (04:53):
Yeah, stars, that's a good list.

Speaker 2 (04:55):
All right, Caleb, we're going in reverse order. You're first,
right now, and the timer begins.

Speaker 7 (05:00):
Jimmy Giannis Giannis number four, thirty one point two, Yes,
Sir Low and Crin. James Harden James Harden number eleven,
twenty seven point eight, Rich Wimby whim Bnye MF number sixteen,

Speaker 7 (05:54):
Caleb uh Jalen Bruce Jaylen Brunson is on the list

Low and Kron Kate Cunningham Kate Cunningham at number thirteen,

Speaker 2 (06:08):

Jaylen Brown YEP number ten, twenty seven point nine.

Speaker 2 (06:44):
Caleb Michael never swing the rock bordj.

Speaker 1 (06:48):
He is on that list with twenty four point eight.

Speaker 2 (06:51):
What a battle going on?

Speaker 5 (06:53):
Low and Kron Kevin Durant.

Speaker 2 (06:55):
Kevin Durant k D not on the list. Back to Rich.

Speaker 1 (07:03):
John Morant, John Morant.

Speaker 2 (07:07):
La Klos that round, Jal.

Speaker 7 (07:10):
You did very well with the few you missed let's see, Uh,
you missed Austin Reeves. You've been talking about him a lot.
He was on the list twenty seven point six. Anthony
Edwards had twenty six point five. Who else if we
miss Powell twenty five point four, Marcainen twenty nine point three.
At number seven, he was the highest one.

Speaker 8 (07:30):
John Morant is in the news today, though, Rich were
talking smack about Thompson, which is kind of odd play Thompson.

Speaker 2 (07:36):
All Right, Rich and Caleb both on the board. We
go to the third category, fifteen grams. You have five
seconds to name one of the fifteen NFL teams that
kicker Shane Graham either played for or was signed to
in his fifteen year career. All Right, he was a
pro bowler for one of those teams in two thousand
and five. Shane Gran Graham the kicker fifteen different NFL teams.

(07:58):
Covino eure up first, starting right now.

Speaker 1 (08:01):
Go Saints. Saints are on the list. Rich, he was
on the Giants. No, he was on the Giants twenty ten.

Speaker 5 (08:08):
Low and Cross, Carolina Panthers.

Speaker 7 (08:10):
Panthers yep, two thousand and two, Cincinnati Bengals, yep. Yeah,
that's it's at the longest longest stint o three to
zero nine Packers Packers nonymalist, Rich Falcons Falcons are on

(08:35):
the twenty fifteen Low and Cross Buffalo Bills, Bills are
on the list two thousand and one good poll.

Speaker 5 (08:41):
K lob Arizona Cardinals.

Speaker 1 (08:44):
Cardinals nonemal lists.

Speaker 2 (08:47):
All right. Back to Rich.

Speaker 1 (08:52):
Patriots, Patriots are on the list.

Speaker 5 (08:56):
Low and Cross was Seahawks guest. Yet no Seahawks.

Speaker 7 (09:00):
Seahawks are on the list, and he only signed with them,
he never actually went on the field.

Speaker 2 (09:04):
Back to Rich.

Speaker 1 (09:07):
Eagles Eagles.

Speaker 2 (09:13):
We got a three way tie, all right, between Rich,
Caleb and Loewen Kron, which means after the update, we'll
come back and we'll have an overtime.

Speaker 1 (09:23):
I love overtime in this game.

Speaker 8 (09:27):
And tune in on Thursday as we fill in for
Dan Patrick. That's the way to start your Thanksgiving. Thankful
for you Thanksgiving week. Fox Sports Radio Nation. Let's get
back into it, Danny g Yeah, let's.

Speaker 2 (09:37):
Go weka for now. Caleb from Missouri back on the
line here, Caleb, what's going on?

Speaker 1 (09:43):
Guys?

Speaker 2 (09:43):
All right? Overtime and in ann Ount we have breaking
news here a pinch hitter for I Low He asked
that spot make his overtime guest so that he could
go take some day quill. All right, so Spotty standing
in for Loewen Krawn Rich Caleb also in the running.
Here here's the question. Oh, okay, whoever comes closest, just
buzz in with your name to go first. All right,

(10:05):
you could be over under. It doesn't matter whoever comes closest.
How many interceptions did Brett Favre throw during his nineteen
year career including the playoffs? Oh wow, you didn't even
think about it, all right, Caleb, Caleb, what's your guests?
Go for it? Three ten? Three ten?

Speaker 7 (10:25):
Oh, okay, three ten, yeah, ten, jeez, Spotty, that's a all.

Speaker 1 (10:32):
I'll say three hundred.

Speaker 2 (10:34):
Three even for Lowen Krown's answer.

Speaker 4 (10:36):
Okay, Rich, you know, I feel like he had double
digits every year because he was just a gunslinger, right,
I mean, not a great.

Speaker 1 (10:44):
Guy, but a good arm. Oh I'm my.

Speaker 2 (10:47):
Three forty two, three forty two.

Speaker 1 (10:50):
So what are the answers? I said three forty two?

Speaker 2 (10:52):
Yeah, so Caleb said three ten. Lowen Krowns is three
hundred from Spotty, and you say three forty two. The
actual answer is three sixty six. Watch wins for a
second week in a row.

Speaker 1 (11:03):
Which is on a streak.

Speaker 2 (11:05):
Good streak. So Caleb, here you battled man. Great job to.

Speaker 8 (11:12):
Job, Caleb, and thank you man. You were definitely in there.
You can play any week, anytime. We have games every
day pretty much. Here on the show tomorrow we have
Showboy Mahomes trivia.

Speaker 2 (11:22):
Oh boy, he's gonna be pumping his chest out.

Speaker 8 (11:24):
Mahomes will be answering or asking questions and you get
the answer for some prizes.

Speaker 4 (11:29):
Can I reveal to you how I came up with
that number? And you're gonna be like, wow, that's a
lot of picks. You said he had a nineteen year career,
the legendary yet dirt bag Brett Farv nineteen years.

Speaker 2 (11:41):
Yeah, the first year, only a couple of games, but
still through some picks.

Speaker 4 (11:44):
I said, I did the math. I did if because
he played a lot of postseason football. I did eighteen
picks a game and that was three forty two and
that was I went under. So realistically, this guy averaged
close to twenty picks a year.

Speaker 1 (11:59):
Wild, isn't that nineteen years?

Speaker 2 (12:01):
Yeah?

Speaker 7 (12:01):
Intercepting charitable funds count.

Speaker 2 (12:07):
Here till Thursday.

Speaker 1 (12:08):
I think I think Lone Crown gets to win for
that one.

Speaker 9 (12:10):
Brett fav is that the NFL's all time interceptions king
a quarterback.

Speaker 1 (12:14):
But that is true, and he's got a small weenie.
Does intercepting other people's saw numbers count? Jeez?

Speaker 4 (12:21):
Another good one, two for two spots. All right, thank
you everyone for playing. And tonight, oh tonight to night.

Speaker 1 (12:29):
Good night is bronight. You're going to see wicked.

Speaker 4 (12:32):
I am, but I'm dvring my Niners game and I'm
turning my phone off so none of you idiots could
spoil it for me.

Speaker 1 (12:38):
Niners are favored by seven in.

Speaker 4 (12:41):
A teaser bet because that's how we usually win these
Thursday and Monday night games. There was a time where
we were like undefeated on these. I like the forty
nine ers minus one. So take that minus seven to
minus one and them just winning the game, just simply
simply winning. Wait and then take the over under. Push

(13:02):
it up, Push it up, because right now I believe
it's forty nine. Yeah, forty eight and a half, So
go fifty four and a half and take the under.
I want low points tonight, so under fifty four and
a half, Niners just win the game.

Speaker 1 (13:16):
Will look at Pardy though, check that out. Look at him.

Speaker 2 (13:19):
He's confident.

Speaker 8 (13:20):
Yeah, he looks like he's ready to play. He does
look great, Prayer, I'm not even kiddingap. We're watching him
now as we speak.

Speaker 2 (13:25):
Is his hair feathered?

Speaker 4 (13:26):
Yeah, he had no time for hair product, Danny. That's
how you know he's focused. Yeah, he's focused. He's like
a boyish haircut. Brock pretty has the hairstyle. And my
five year old son has You know what, You get
a haircut and then it just grows longer and you
don't really put anything in it. Brock Purtty got little
boy hair. Can you picture this guy and he look
at him. It's a little boy hair.

Speaker 1 (13:43):
You're right.

Speaker 4 (13:43):
He doesn't put anything, no clay, none of the powder
the kids used. Brock Purty says, he's like your daddy
wakes up, combs his hair and it dries. So they
win tonight forty nine ers, advance to eight and four,
Then they beat the Browns. Next week in Shador, there'll
be nine to four. Then they beat the Titans. They'll
be ten and four. And my Niners just simply by

(14:05):
doing that will secure postseason spot because the end of
their schedule is a little tricky. They got the Colts,
I believe they have the Seahawks again, so it gets tricky.
So the Niners if they want to be a postseason team,
because the NFC is gonna be a little a log
jam in the wildcard if you ask me. With the Packers, Lions,
and Bears, oh my, all looking like their playoff teams.
The NFC West, with the Rams and the Seahawks and

(14:27):
the Niners, that looking a little tight. You gotta beat
the lower tier teams because you're assuming, here's my assumption.
I think it's a good one. The NFC East Eagles only,
can we agree with that? NFC South Bucks or Panthers only? Okay,

(14:49):
one team, so you're only getting one team representing the
East and the South. Then you have the Rams winning
the West likely and let's just doing a bunch of
scribble on your no, And then you got maybe, let's
just say the Bears winning the North. Right, So now
one two, three four U division winners, right, Eagles, a
bump team from the South, Rams and Bears. Oh my,

(15:11):
you get three wildcards. You know who's gonna be fighting
for those three wildcards? Packers, Lions, forty nine Ers, Seahawks
one of those teams.

Speaker 1 (15:20):
Doesn't make it.

Speaker 8 (15:20):
You're just writing scribble scrabble, like those timeshare guys on vacation.
I try to sell you the packages. Wait, do you
like coming here? Do you like this resort?

Speaker 1 (15:28):
Hey? Do you like this resort? You and your wife
have a good time here?

Speaker 3 (15:30):
Yeah?

Speaker 2 (15:31):
Yeah?

Speaker 1 (15:31):
You know for how much you pay? Four grand? About
four thousand?

Speaker 2 (15:35):
Yo?

Speaker 1 (15:36):
You could come here three times a year for five thousand.

Speaker 8 (15:38):
Yeah, start join a bunch of arrow arrow. Oh you
want to be part of this tierper name three faces?
Name three destinations you like to go to with the
twenty We got resorts there, Uh, Egypt, Australia and Jamaica.

Speaker 4 (15:51):
Rich is just writing things down, so someone's gonna someone's
gonna miss out. Someone's gonna miss out. You can see riches.
Look you think of mine. Look at Rich just scribble.
This is legit.

Speaker 2 (16:02):
Yeah. YouTube channels watching his scribble right now?

Speaker 1 (16:05):
Yeah, yeah great, I'll take you this good. This is
you know, look at this. This is just trying to
sell us.

Speaker 8 (16:09):
He's trying to sell the radio listeners with his scribble
scrabble on paper.

Speaker 2 (16:14):
He's the rain man of radio.

Speaker 8 (16:15):
Well, Rich, I'm excited to watch the game tonight. I
want your review on Wicked tomorrow.

Speaker 2 (16:19):
Perfect.

Speaker 8 (16:21):
Happy to be here on Fox Sports Radio. Very thankful
Thanksgiving Week Live from the Fox Sports Radio Studio. I'm
here in New Jersey and it's time for our ti
Iraq play of the day.

Speaker 1 (16:31):
Rich's boy that.

Speaker 8 (16:32):
He's defending Rock Party struggled, the Niners still pulled out
a win over the Panthers.

Speaker 10 (16:38):
A pivotal matchup between two teams jockeying for position in
the NFC playoff picture. The forty nine Ers will defeat
the Carolina Panthers here tonight, twenty to nine.

Speaker 2 (16:49):
The final score, and.

Speaker 8 (16:52):
That's courtesy of Kate NBR Niners Radio Network. That's our
tire Rack play of the day. For over forty years,

what and where they drive. Shipped fast and free back

(17:12):
and Rich FSR on YouTube. We're streaming live and also
got feedback from Idaho ninety nine point nine Len and
Nick are on their way back from fly fishing listening.
They don't buy into nutshots or package shots. Okay, and
Nick caught his first fish on the fly rod today
and they're loving the CNR show. So props to Len

(17:33):
and Nicholas. But Rich, I know you had final thoughts
Jerry Springer's style.

Speaker 1 (17:39):
I just think that it's a it's a low class move.

Speaker 4 (17:42):
It is I cat so I mean, and I think
the one game suspension that seems seems fair, seems legit.
But I think the forty nine ers are because no
one's dominant except the Rams. I keep saying, we got
to remember the Rams. While every other team in the
NFL has shown moments of like, ooh, that wasn't good,

(18:04):
the Rams have really not shown that at all. In fact,
we said yesterday they're too long. Fans would smirk at that. Okay,
you know what, maybe you're right. Maybe I don't necessarily
buy in quite yet, but I will say when you
look at the Rams, they could very well be eleven.
And oh they lost an overtime game to the Niners
that they fumbled on the one foot line. Remember they

(18:25):
lost on a game winning field goal block to the Eagles.
So you know the Rams. Other than the Rams, I
think that the NFL is so wide open that if
a team like the Niners plays good enough and Brock
Purty finds his game, they could get to the divisional
round or so. I just think the NFL is wide open.
And I'm going to go over the whole NFC playoff picture.

(18:46):
I know we're we're more than halfway there now. We
got five six games left for a lot of teams,
and I think the writings on the wall as to
what team could very well be out of it, and
you'll be shocked what team I think is said for
a good time, Cole Riches, I have a question for
you that I want to get your feedback next. Okay, now,
honestly I want to I do want to touch on

(19:06):
this for a second. It's not sports related at all,
and politics aside. I don't care if you love Trump,
haid him, Democrat, Republican. We're here to have a good
time and laugh, and I think you'll find this funny.

Speaker 1 (19:17):
Did you realize Trump was such a shador Sanders fan.
I didn't know he would make such a big deal
about parting that Turkey gobble. I'm setting you free gobble.

Speaker 11 (19:26):
I just want to tell you this is very important.
You are hereby unconditionally partners.

Speaker 4 (19:33):
God, No, there's a there's something, Transportation Secretary Sean Duffy said,
Being that we're about to enter, they're calling this no joke,
the busiest traveling Thanksgiving of all time. I'm not trying
to sound like Jesse Palmer on The Bachelor. Are like
the most dramatic season ever. They're saying more traveling this
week than ever before, he ever before. So he released

(19:56):
a statement that I think is hilarious that I think
you'll get. So we'll do that. We'll go to the
NFC playoffs all next as Timmy no Breaks would say.

Speaker 1 (20:07):
Get this, get this.

Speaker 4 (20:10):
Transportation Secretary Sean Duffy. Now, I don't care if you
hate this guy love him.

Speaker 1 (20:15):
I don't know.

Speaker 4 (20:15):
If he's a Trump guy, probably you can't. I don't
care about your politics. This guy released the statement that
I almost I can't understand how anyone would not be
behind this. He's like, listen, it's gonna be a stressful
travel time. Why don't we, as a collective society say
please say thank you to the flight attendants and pilots

(20:37):
as you like, get on and off the plane. Have
some manners, and this is what you're gonna love. He said,
how about we dress with a little respect? Could we
stop it with the slippers and pajama pants? Dress a
little nicer when you travel.

Speaker 1 (20:53):
I love it.

Speaker 8 (20:53):
We're way too I don't know, comfortable, way too recreational.
Well I saw, I shall say Scheinfeld. He's like, have
you seen I see policemen on pogo sticks? Like we've
gone too far.

Speaker 4 (21:06):
I think there's a sense of like pajamas have made
the mainstream.

Speaker 1 (21:11):
Dude, I watchers.

Speaker 4 (21:12):
I saw pictures of your daughter's sweet sixteen from this
past weekend.

Speaker 1 (21:16):
Yeah, she's wearing a gown that I'm sure cost you thousands.

Speaker 4 (21:19):
It's like a Keen Signetta ballroom gown. Yeah, and she's
all done up. You're at some sassy like country club
looking hall. You're wearing a suit. Some of the teenage
boys at her party we're wearing like sweatpants and a hoodie.

Speaker 1 (21:34):
I blame the adults, though. Here's why.

Speaker 8 (21:36):
It all started with casual Friday, and then we took advantage,
and then COVID happened, and then we stopped wearing pants
and we started wearing sweatpants and everything else.

Speaker 4 (21:44):
I'm not saying we need to be someone from the
nineteen forties where we're wearing fedoras and trench colors everywhere.
But what I'm saying is you don't think there's an
in between, Isaac Danny g You guys don't think does
it in between? Like you don't need to wear a
suit on the plane, But do you really think we
all need to wear flannel pajama pants, take our socks off,
and like act like we're in our den.

Speaker 1 (22:06):
It's a little much, though.

Speaker 2 (22:08):
Yeah, there's a middle ground that's needed when you go
out in public.

Speaker 8 (22:12):
Yeah, you just comfortably, but you still look like an adult.
You could we wear a nice.

Speaker 4 (22:17):
Pair of joggers if you're gonna wear sweats, but like
sweats with holes in them and flannel pants, like I was, Sam,
you come on.

Speaker 1 (22:24):
No, oh, I'm totally with you.

Speaker 9 (22:26):
I think this is actually this is the whole like
super casual airplane air you know, flying wardrobe has been
an issue for like a quarter century. And I don't
know if it's an issue called issue in quotation marks,
but people have been very casual flying on planes since
basically flying became casual, like there used to be a
time where people were served like buffets and banquets on

(22:46):
planes and you addressed to the to the nines.

Speaker 1 (22:49):
But isn't there something nice sam like those of the
days watched?

Speaker 8 (22:54):
Yeah, but anytime you watch an old timey times video
of an old ball game, you do see dudes in
their suits and trench coats, coach coats and fedora's. It
was just a classier time. People cared about how they
looked and how they presented. And we threw that out
the window and we looked like a bunch of slobs.
And that's the truth. So I do get behind this.

Speaker 4 (23:14):
Right, you look at like you said, an old game
footage of the Yankees nineteen twenty seven, whatever little old
school footage I have, You're right, everyone in the crowd
has their scorecard and like a trench coat of Fedora,
you see he has New York City, Downtown Chicago nineteen
forty something.

Speaker 1 (23:31):
It's a bunch of dudes wearing suits.

Speaker 4 (23:34):
Women would put themselves together, I just think, And I'm
all for comfort, right, I'm not saying.

Speaker 2 (23:40):
That's what I was gonna say.

Speaker 1 (23:41):
Man, those suits were not coming.

Speaker 2 (23:42):
I remember, can't be rich wanting to get my Sunday
suit off from church so badly. I hated being dressed
like that.

Speaker 1 (23:49):
Oh it's wool. Yeah, I mean, and you know what,
Camino points it out more than anyone. COVID.

Speaker 4 (23:56):
There was a lot of bad about it. There was
some decent takeaways. In the midst of, you know, a
bad time, there were some decent takeaways like, oh, there
are some things you could do from home now some
people are mobilely working a little bit more flexibility. We
learned some stuff, but I'll tell you what we became,
and I'm I'm guilty. I just got back on track recently.

(24:16):
We got so in the habit of being so sloppy during.

Speaker 8 (24:20):
COVID, sloppy sweatpants, crocs. It's like, come on, are we adulter?
We school boy dude.

Speaker 4 (24:25):
I mean, I'm not saying I'm dressed to the nines,
but I'm wearing a nice I'm wearing my Travis Matthew jeans.
I got a fitted T shirt on aie. It's just
like the asuals, you know, like be casually presentable. I
just I agree. So this is I just thought this
is funny being that we're entering the biggest traveling week.

Speaker 8 (24:41):
It's a shame that he has to remind people to
be polite and courteous around Thanksgiving, around the holidays, and
to dress like adults.

Speaker 4 (24:48):
His statement is pretty much just telling a bunch of
grown ups what you would tell kids.

Speaker 2 (24:53):
Right.

Speaker 4 (24:54):
The Transportation Secretary Sean Duffy had to say, it would
be nice if we said please and thank you to
the service workers and pilots and flight attendants during the
busiest travel time. Keep your cool and you know what
also helps self respect comes with feeling respect. Dress a
little better, dress with respect. And people are giving this.

Speaker 1 (25:14):
People are hating on this, by the way. That's why
I brought up.

Speaker 4 (25:16):
People are saying, like, what is this guy tell he's
running the money if you ask me.

Speaker 8 (25:20):
Yeah, but there's a difference between your foot seat pajamas
and your stupid fluffy slippers that people go to the
airport with and like athleisure, Like you could wear some
sort of athletic gear, some sort of athletic pant and
a hoodie and still be comfortable yet presentable on an
airplane in public.

Speaker 1 (25:39):
You know what I mean? We're talking about in public.

Speaker 4 (25:41):
Yeah, there's a there's this like emphasis that who cares
about Vanity.

Speaker 1 (25:47):
I'll tell you what.

Speaker 8 (25:48):
This is a lot of gross Eddie Arcadian and me
growing up watching The Last Dragon.

Speaker 1 (25:52):
That's show.

Speaker 4 (25:53):
But I'm just saying this, there's a big emphasis on like, oh,
you shouldn't care about what you look like, don't be vain.
It's like, don't like a slob, Hey, Rich, you know
who cares about vanity? Bruce Lee Roy, that's who a movie.

Speaker 1 (26:05):
That you love that I've never seen? You guys love
Last Dragon?

Speaker 4 (26:10):
Dude, I'll watch The Last Dragon when you watch one
of two movies that Kevino's never seen, get ready for
this one. I'll watch The Last Dragon if you watch.
I'm gonna give you a choice too, The Mighty Ducks
or Little Giants.

Speaker 1 (26:25):
Little Giants? You just saw Little Giants though I know
it's I just watch well.

Speaker 4 (26:30):
I mean they're very similar to this one's hockey. I
think Little Mighty Ducks is better. But you like football
more than hockey. So I'm just saying, you watch one
of the you're with your nephews and nieces this week
for Thanksgiving? Yeah, yeah, maybe I'll watch both of them.

Speaker 8 (26:46):
That's a great idea. Actually, you know what, that's a
whole conversation. Maybe we could have tomorrow, Rich as we
all get together with friends and family, like family movie safe? Yeah,
what are those safe for? A family like mine, a
mom who's easily offended by everything. You gotta find those
safe movies like Little Giants and Mighty Ducks to watch
fun for the whole family. But Rich, I couldn't get

(27:07):
behind this sentiment more. I just came back from the
airport and we're embarrassing as a society. Way too casual,
way too relaxed. It's like, come on, man, step it
up just a little bit and enjoy time with friends
and family.

Speaker 1 (27:22):
So I can get behind this all day.

Speaker 4 (27:24):
Yeah, but some people like like might hit us up
in Kentucky. I'm just looking at our text messages. He said, Hey, dude,
it's a plane runway, not a fashion runway. I'm going
comfort you.

Speaker 1 (27:33):
Look like a slot Mike. Sorry, yeah, got them.

Speaker 2 (27:36):
In our YouTube chat, Matt said that we that our
grandparents all dressed in their casket suits because they all
thought they were gonna die.

Speaker 1 (27:42):
Every time they say you know that's possible, I'm ready
on it.

Speaker 8 (27:46):
There's you know, he's saying, it's not a fashion runway.
No one's saying you gotta look like Rue Paul at
the drag race. No one's saying you gotta be Stereic Zoolander,
you know, but you look presentable, like an adult.

Speaker 1 (27:58):
How did we lose?

Speaker 8 (28:00):
How do we lose the focus on what's appropriate, especially
around the holidays?

Speaker 1 (28:04):
Why do you want to look like a slob?

Speaker 4 (28:06):
So I'm all behind it, Duffy, good for you, Okay,
all right, So I want to crunch these numbers because
I know coming up we're gonna do Showtime Mahomes trivia
if you want to, if you want to get a
head start, make sure you're the contestant.

Speaker 1 (28:19):
Phones are always hot. In fact, they're all lit.

Speaker 4 (28:21):
So if you want to try to sneak in eight
seven seven nine to nine on Fox, is the number
eight seven seven nine nine on Fox. Now, would you
mind if I did a little.

Speaker 1 (28:31):
Dare I say? Schedule watching?

Speaker 3 (28:35):
The rich loves to look at the schedule, game schedule watching?

Speaker 1 (28:40):
All right, yeah, yeah yeah.

Speaker 4 (28:44):
There are, as you know, seven teams that make the
playoffs in the NFC, And to me, there's eight teams,
which means one of these teams is leaving and going
home home outpisode.

Speaker 8 (29:01):
We're crunching the NFC right now, we're crunching it, bro
all right, you're like Captain crunch Let's go the Sagis.

Speaker 1 (29:09):
Who are the Sagis? Crunch Berries.

Speaker 4 (29:16):
Now, let's get it out of the way and say
your playoff teams in lessest some monumental collapse, which doesn't
even seem possible. You got the Eagles winning the NFC East,
the Rams winning I think the NFC West.

Speaker 1 (29:33):
I know you could say, well, they're only your game up.

Speaker 2 (29:34):
I don't know.

Speaker 1 (29:35):
I feel like they got that right.

Speaker 8 (29:36):
It's bonkers to me that the Buccaneers are still in
the first in the South after losing three in a row.

Speaker 4 (29:43):
You can thank the forty nine ers for keeping the
keeping the Panthers at Bay yep so, and we can
also agree that one team will make it from that division. Right,
So when we crunch these numbers, it's very clear to
me that Eagles ran an NFC South winner.

Speaker 1 (30:02):
I'm gonna say the Bucks just for the heck of it.
So those are in.

Speaker 4 (30:05):
They're in, like Flynn, absolutely, four teams, one more division
winner and three wildcards. Here's the question, now, who are
those teams? Because I'm gonna say that there's four teams
left to make it. I'm gonna present you five teams,
the forty nine Ers, the Seahawks.

Speaker 1 (30:28):
The Bears, the Packers, and the Lions. Three NFC North
teams and two teams in the West. Other than the Rams,
one of those teams ain't making it. What team is
out of the mix? All right? Hold on forty nine Ers,
Bears first of all, let's go. I want to go

(30:50):
forty nine Ers in Seahawks first, Seahawks. You know what.

Speaker 8 (30:53):
I don't know if Dan Byer was being facetious today,
but I was listening to dB and Monsey while I
was taking a shower. I know it sounds weird, but
it's not. What were you scrubbing when you move to that?
I just say, iOS, Sam just really held it down today.
What a professional. iOS Sam, you sounded great today. I

(31:14):
thought I was listening to the Sam Show. Really, Yeah,
he sounded great. I'm like, who is that?

Speaker 1 (31:19):
Sam? Like you were like the whole show for a moment.

Speaker 2 (31:22):
Wow.

Speaker 9 (31:23):
I feel like I've been having common off day. Maybe
it's just because I'm getting out of here for.

Speaker 8 (31:26):
That that's in your head, man, But I appreciate Dan
Bayer ranked the Seahawks like number one. Well, he's a
Seahawks fan, but let me tell you, Oh, but he's
really high on him. Dan Byer knows what he's talking about.
I would say the Seahawks are definitely in that mix.

Speaker 1 (31:41):
Rich, Well, I'm putting the Seahawks in the playoffs.

Speaker 4 (31:44):
I'll tell you why. Because they have the weakest schedule.
They played the Vikings. I'm gonna say a W. Falcons W.
Let's just say they pick up a loss they play
the Colts, right, Let's do an l even if they
lose to the Rams, right, El Panthers W. That right
there brings them to eleven and five, And even if
they lost that last game to the Niners at the

(32:06):
final game of the season, maybe eleven and six Seahawks
are in Seahawks.

Speaker 1 (32:10):
But you know how you always say, what is Vegas?
Know that we don't know?

Speaker 8 (32:12):
Yeah, what is Bayern now that we don't know? And
that's plenty sure. But he thinks they're top three in the.

Speaker 4 (32:18):
I mean they lost their they lost the first game
of the year to the Niners when they weren't really
established yet. On that ball that should have been picked
in the end zone. But the Niners snuck by. Besides that,
they lost to the Rams, you know, a couple of
weeks ago. So Seahawks are really good.

Speaker 1 (32:32):
They're in.

Speaker 4 (32:33):
I think the Niners just based on the fact that
they play the Browns and Texans, they could jump out
to ten and four, which means they would just need
to win one of their final three games. Colts, Bears,
Seahawks three tough games. But if the Niners win one
of those games, they're eleven and six, and I think
that gets you in. We talked about how eleven and
six get you in, right, yep. Then you got to

(32:57):
ask yourself which of the NFC North teams are out?

Speaker 1 (33:01):
The Packers, Lions, and Bears. All three teams are not
making it.

Speaker 4 (33:04):
Danny G do you, I'm finding, do you have an
instinct of like, without even looking at who they play, like,
is there a team where you're like, oh, they're on
the downward er upward?

Speaker 3 (33:12):
Like? Is there?

Speaker 2 (33:13):
I feel like the Packers are going to get it
together and finish the season strong.

Speaker 4 (33:18):
Wow, the Lions, I gotta be consistent, rich I said,
the Bears look like a stock that just continues to
be you said up or down, they continue to keep
going up.

Speaker 8 (33:28):
They've won four in a row. Now they're eight and three.
I think the Bears are legit.

Speaker 4 (33:33):
This Thanksgiving Day game in two days from now determines
the whole season for the Detroit Lions. If the Detroit
Lions lose on Thanksgiving Day, they've lost seven of the
last eight Thanksgiving Day games.

Speaker 1 (33:49):
They won last year.

Speaker 4 (33:50):
But you know they've been cold, but they haven't been great.
Older is right, So Danny, g follow me here. I'll
try to make it as simple as possible. Right now,
the Lions are seven and four. If they lose to
the Pack on Thanksgiving, they'll be seven and five.

Speaker 1 (34:04):
Seven and five.

Speaker 4 (34:05):
Would mean they would have to then go minimum four
and one to get to that to get to eleven wins.
They played the Cowboys at the Rams, they play the Steelers,
they play the Bears like the Lions. I'm calling it
right now. Lions lose on Thursday, they're seasons done. Too

(34:27):
much of an uphill battle because the Bears. But then again,
you can say, well the Bears, you know what they have, Cavino,
you're so hot on them. Black Friday they play the Eagles.
If they beat the Eagles, I think the Bears are
are on the way to being in because they knew
they'd be nine and three.

Speaker 1 (34:44):
I mean, how is that not possible? The Cowboys.

Speaker 4 (34:47):
But the Bears play the Eagles and Packers the next
two weeks. They can lose two games and be eight
and five. All I'm saying is, right now, I want
to put the emphasis for everyone that loves football as
much as we do, the schedule watches as much as
I do. The Lions losing on Thanksgiving would be almost
a nail on their coffin because then they I feel

(35:09):
like they'd have to almost win out.

Speaker 1 (35:11):
So I'll put you know what I'll do.

Speaker 4 (35:13):
I'll make a little chart later Covino and I'll post
it on our Instagram at Covine on Rich Because I
love schedule watching. I love this stuff, and I know
anything could happen week to week. But their schedule is
real tricky. And the Lions, like you said, I was saying,
without Ben Johnson calling those plays, something's Sam reporter there,
tight end and Sam Report is out. There's just like

(35:33):
do something. Something's a little off. And if they don't
find a way to beat the Packers in two days,
it's over. Sorry, Detroit, All right, we have more c
and R and Mahomes joins us. We're gonna do a
little showtime Mahomes trivia two days ahead of the Chiefs
matchup with the Cowboys on Thanksgiving Day. We'll get to
all that next right here on Coveno on rich.

Speaker 1 (35:56):
See.

Speaker 4 (35:57):
I mean, why wait, let's talk to Lakers and Luca
and what a guy he said? Uh yo, Jackson Hayes,
if you get fined, I got your back. You're right guy,
But Danny g you want to set the stage of
what happened last night. You're watching the Lakers like you
do all the time. I'm catching more highlights and you
than most. But you're you're watching the whole game.

Speaker 1 (36:18):
You're lucky.

Speaker 2 (36:18):
Yeah, you don't watch NBA until the n season tournament.

Speaker 1 (36:22):
I mean, can I tell you something.

Speaker 4 (36:24):
I feel like I almost feel like it's a slightly
embarrassing thing that they're still sticking with it.

Speaker 8 (36:31):
I mean, hey, dude, look at the World Baseball Classic.
The first few years it was kind of ass and
now you got show. Hey, well show hay was involved,
but he was recently announced again He's gotten better and
better every year. So it's like innovator, die you got it,
can get up that quick, dude, I agree that. I'm
a firm believer in your pal Gary Vayner, Chuck Gary

(36:51):
Vee who says innovator die. I love how they tried
different things at the All Star break in hockey. They
tried to do the international thing. They're doing that with
the All Star Game for the NBA.

Speaker 1 (37:00):
Now. I like the mindset of innovator die.

Speaker 4 (37:03):
Come up with some fresh new ideas, none of the
none of the old blame stuff that's not working. But
sometimes when something doesn't work, a few times you pivot
and I don't know, I know. It's like very euro
and very soccer like group. This group and this group.
We laughed the other day, Danny g We looked at
some player's profile and it's like and NBA Cup champion

(37:24):
and it was almost a laugher, right, it was like
NBA Cup. Yeah, it was Austin Reeves. He's an NBA win.

Speaker 2 (37:30):
They're gonna keep tweaking that until they get it right. Hopefully,
hopefully it doesn't turn out like the NFL Pro Bowl.
But Luca has history with Chris Dunn of the Clippers
from when he played with the Maps, so these two
have no love loss already they were chirping at each
other during the game. Uh, there's a play right out
out of bounds near the basket the ball, the basketball

(37:51):
gets pushed right into Luca's chest by Chris Dunn knocks
and looking back, Luca makes the face he always makes,
like did you say rush? Did you see that? And
jack And Hayes comes to be the uh, you know,
the uh enforcer, the goo, the good the quarterback exactly,
and he shoves Chris Dunn and Chris Chris Dunn went

(38:12):
about four step sideways and he retaliated by throwing an
open hand I guess you could call it a wannabe
slap punch, and he connected slightly to Jackson Hayes's face.
So double t on doone he's out of the game,
and one technical on Jackson Hayes the enforcer.

Speaker 8 (38:29):
So Luca then says, hey, put Jackson Hayes is fine
on my tab because he had my back.

Speaker 2 (38:35):
Yeah. And then a few plays later, Lucas sets Jackson
Hayes up with a beautiful alley oop and the announcers
were like, God, it's paying off already having his back.

Speaker 4 (38:44):
You gotta love that as a Lakers fan, just seeing
not only the chemistry you were hoping for. But when
guys started getting each other's back, you realize that there's
a true camaraderie being built there in the Lakers this season.

Speaker 2 (38:56):
Yeah, and we talked about DeAndre Ayton. We've talked about
him a few times so far this season. A nice
surprise so far for the Lake Show. But he's out
injured right now, and Jackson Hayes has stepped up, Kleeber
has gotten some playing time. So something that was a
major weakness for the Lakers not having size, suddenly they
have a little depth in that department.

Speaker 8 (39:16):
And you're hearing all sorts of buzz about the greatest
trio and sports history in NBA history, Luca Reeves, Lebron
scoring ninety nine points, something ridiculous like that. You know,
Lakers fans are like, wow, this is all coming together
like we dreamed about.

Speaker 1 (39:32):
So it's kind of cool to see how.

Speaker 8 (39:34):
They're jelling like Magellan, and it's kind of cool to
see how things like that can bring a team closer together.

Speaker 4 (39:41):
Rich, no diggity, no doubt. In fact, I'm reading our
feedback on the YouTube in show. You can go follow
watch everything at YouTube dot com, slash at covin on
RICHFSR Wes and Tommy Ashley, Andrew Rivera, a bunch of
people hitting us up already in the NBA trying desperately

(40:01):
to make this Cup happen, and it just doesn't doesn't
seem like it's clicking, but tweaks.

Speaker 1 (40:09):
All right.

Speaker 8 (40:09):
Let me give you an inside example. One of the
games that sweep in the nation is our Friday game.
It's a new game called brain Wave that we play.
Right then, Eyg came up with a great idea. The
first few weeks it kind of fell flat because it
needed a few tweaks. Instead of giving up on it,
we made the adjustments and now it's our favorite game,

(40:31):
you know. I mean, if the idea is there and
it's not clicking, you still got to ride it out
and maybe try to tweak it.

Speaker 1 (40:37):
A little bit. I think that's what the NBA is
trying to do.

Speaker 4 (40:41):
There's got to be something, well, you know what I'm thinking,
There's got to be some type of unconventional prize where
what happens at the mid season or the early season
Cup has some type of bearing on the NBA playoffs
come you know spring, Like, hey, you get to pick

(41:02):
your first round opponents, something so unconventional or weird, like oh,
you're the you know you could flip seeds with someone
else in your in your conference like this.

Speaker 8 (41:12):
You gotta know when to say when and no one
to switch it up. But you also have to be
able to make those adjustments. And I think that's a
societal problem in relationships and in life today. If things
don't work in relationships, if things don't work at the job,
if things just aren't working, we're so quick to jump
and try to figure out something else instead of trying
to fix what's there. Like the grass isn't always greener.

(41:34):
Sometimes you just need to water the grassy. Relationships don't last. Kids,
jump ship, let it ride out, make some adjustments, it'll
be fine.

Speaker 1 (41:41):
Take a page out of uh squid Game the Challenge.
I know, Danny J.

Speaker 4 (41:46):
You're watching Kevino. You watched right, I'm watching you. Take
a page out of squid Game the Challenge where you
know you win a you'll win a game or a prize,
and there's like some cool twist, Like I feel like
there's no twists. It's like, are you in the NBA
Cup And no one's being like, oh wow, congratulations pacers
or whoever won last year. No one gives us the crap,

(42:11):
No one cares. But if you if you told me,
all right, let's say, let's say the team that wins
and this won't happen. But I'm saying, how cool would
it be if it did? Whoever wins the NBA Cup.

Speaker 1 (42:21):
Early with paint guns? No, but you you the.

Speaker 4 (42:24):
Winning team gets like some type of advantage in the playoffs,
like you start a series one zero, or you get
to switch or pick your opponent for round one of
the playoffs, are switch seeds or switch two other team seeds,
like you get some type of golden ticket. I know
it sounds ridiculous, but why else would anyone care about who.

Speaker 1 (42:46):
Wins the Cup?

Speaker 4 (42:46):
If there's no if there's no like payoff, well, it's
a payoff you get. Oh, you get a cup that
no one gives a crap about, if it's hung in
the hung in the rafters.

Speaker 1 (42:56):
Became a joke.

Speaker 8 (42:59):
I actually I do agree with you, But I'm sure
there are people that care. And do the players care?
That's another question that you would need to ask Austin Reeves,
ask the Lakers, ask them how they feel about it.

Speaker 1 (43:10):
You could say what I'm private.

Speaker 4 (43:11):
Say what I'm saying sounds dopey, but I do think
that gimmicky stuff could work once in a while. And
if there was some type of again, like an advantage
card later when it mattered, who would be Would.

Speaker 1 (43:25):
You be opposed to that?

Speaker 4 (43:25):
If I told you the team that won the Cup
got some type of advantage going into Round one of
the NBA playoffs. Now you're playing for something. It's like
when the All Star Game in baseball used to mean
that's the AL or NL got home field advantage in
the World Series. It meant something, but it doesn't. When
it doesn't mean anything, then the stakes are nonsense.

Speaker 1 (43:48):
You know, well, I'll tell you what.

Speaker 8 (43:50):
The NBA still is heating up, and we're seeing this
all pan out with the Lakers at the moment, at
least Lebron Luca Ree.

Speaker 2 (44:00):
And they secured a spot in the knockout round after
their victory last night. I know Rich is really excited about.

Speaker 1 (44:07):
I've wrote it down to my schedule way and.

Speaker 8 (44:09):
Luca moved to tenth all time in most forty point games,
which is insane. How old is Luca? He's already tenth
all time in forty point games. That's pretty impressive, man.
So he's putting up some good numbers. They're playing big,
and that's why you have to have a guy like
his back. That's why Jackson Hayes says, you know what

(44:30):
I got you, bro, you know, as my teammate, I
got your back.

Speaker 1 (44:33):
Dude.

Speaker 4 (44:33):
Esteban on Our In Show said, NBA stinks until the playoffs. Guys,
Rich isn't wrong. Maybe do something crazy to spice it up.

Speaker 8 (44:40):
Jamie's saying, you're wrong, But You've never really been the
biggest NBA fan. So I'm saying there's got to be
people that do care. Feel a little different. I think
a little tea here and there could totally fix.

Speaker 4 (44:52):
Until I see someone wearing a NBA Cup T shirt, like,
my team won the NBA Cup.

Speaker 1 (44:56):
Danny, so you've got one or no, No, he does not.

Speaker 4 (44:58):
Danny probably has twenty five league shirts and he does
not have the one when they won the Cup.

Speaker 2 (45:02):
I would never get an in season Cup championship game shirt.

Speaker 4 (45:05):
Now, Jamian Boston said, riches on to something. What if
there was like a wild card where in the first
round of the playoffs that team got.

Speaker 1 (45:12):
Like a you would.

Speaker 4 (45:14):
You get to pick what player on the other team
has to send the bench for five minutes in the
fourth quarter like something absurd, Like that's gimmicky, that's yeah,
but you're right.

Speaker 2 (45:23):
Something like having a field goal kickoff in overtime with
fat linemen in the NFL.

Speaker 1 (45:29):
Oh, that sounds fun.

Speaker 8 (45:31):
So there's so many different things that that make me
uh say hm when it comes to what happened last night. Though,
I love watching the clips, I love watching the highlights.
I love watching seeing the teammates have each other's back,
and it makes me think of, you know, having your
buddies back, having your famili's back, Like so many situations

(45:52):
like rich if you're let's say, at mixed company.

Speaker 1 (45:55):
I've been here before.

Speaker 8 (45:56):
I've been at mixed company, and I've seen my ex
wife fight and get into arguments with my friends and
not to get too personal, but I knew in these
particular situations my wife was wrong, my friends were right.
Do I always have to have my wife's back even
though I know she's wrong? So this poses so many

(46:18):
questions to me when I think of when I think
of Jackson Hayes having Luca's back, you're not saying anyone
was wrong or right, but It makes me think of
do you always have to have your wife's back?

Speaker 1 (46:27):
Do you always have to have your friend's back? And
the worst if you.

Speaker 8 (46:29):
Know he's wrong, if he's drunk, if he's stupid, Like
when to have people's back is the.

Speaker 1 (46:34):
First thing I want to stick on the couch or
I mean exactly Ryan, Honestly, Ryan's right.

Speaker 4 (46:39):
You have to, like unapologetically and stupidly at times, defend
the person you love, right, Like there have been times
where I've had ex'es fly off the handle and I've
gone up to Pete. I've defended her and then gone
up to people to be like, listen, I have to
defend her.

Speaker 1 (46:55):
It's my girlfriend.

Speaker 4 (46:57):
But I understand, so like I'm trying, like he escalating
a situation, Like I get you, but I have to
defend her.

Speaker 1 (47:04):
So what's worry about?

Speaker 8 (47:05):
You know it's a big party night, right, You're out
with your pals and your friend is belligerent, drunk, maybe
hitting on a woman that's taken. You know that your
friend's in the wrong. He starts a little bit of
a tussle, or he starts a problem at the bar.
He's your friend, you know he's wrong. Do you always
have to have his back, even when you know he's wrong.
You know, all these things come to mind when I

(47:27):
see what happens. Do you look at it. We're on
the same team. I have your back no matter what.
Is that the rules you live by, and I will
tell you straight up, those are the rules that I
live by. You know, I know my wife was in
the wrong ex wife now, but I knew she was
in the wrong. But I'm not sleeping on the couch.
I gotta go back with her. I gotta sleep with her.
I'm gonna have her back no matter what. It's loyalty,

(47:48):
it's the team, and you got to stand by those rules.
If your buddy's in the wrong, but someone's starting with him,
or he's getting his ass kicked, or he's getting into
an argument, but he's your buddy. That's the team you
play for. You have his back, you know. I think
those are the rules you play by. Those are the
rules of life, those are the rules of sports. That's
the first thought. Then I have a second thought, well, a.

Speaker 1 (48:09):
Couple of things.

Speaker 4 (48:10):
I think there's a great sign for Lakers fans like
Danny g Yeah, Bill's chemistry. What you're seeing is you're
seeing the trust and camaraderie that Luca has already developed
with this team, where you.

Speaker 8 (48:21):
Know why Luca is able to score forty point games
like this because he knows his team has his back.

Speaker 4 (48:28):
But a great sign is when your people get your back,
because you're telling me you haven't seen athletes on a
professional or collegiate level where there's a tussle and you're like, Wow,
their team did not really have their back, and you
can tell that's because they don't command that camaraderie, or
they don't have that chemistry, or or something's missing.

Speaker 1 (48:48):
So that was Number one.

Speaker 4 (48:49):
Lakers fans should be pleased that guys are quick to
defend their star player.

Speaker 1 (48:54):
Number two, you I don't know my second let me thought.

Speaker 4 (48:57):
Well, based on you were saying to your ex wife, Yeah,
I've seen Covino in that scenario and it sucks.

Speaker 1 (49:04):
I'll just say this.

Speaker 4 (49:05):
I've been at dinners where I've seen Covino's ex wife
and our video guy spot having like the bitchiest little fight,
and I'm just there like, I'm like the meme of
the guy eating popcorn, and I'm like, Cavino knows his
ex wife is wrong, but he has to get her
back good times, right spot, Oh yeah great, yeah, great times?

Speaker 1 (49:24):
Oh so great, so great. And my third thought.

Speaker 4 (49:27):
Is is it backstabbing in nature or wrong if you
go up to the other party afterwards and say, hey, listen, man,
I'll give you an example. I'm my softball team. I
know this is small potatoes, are just Sunday softball. There's
a guy on our team that's a bit of a hothead,
sort of a jerk at times, but he's my teammate.

Speaker 1 (49:48):
He collided with a guy and it was not right.
He was wrong.

Speaker 4 (49:53):
Fall teams start mouthing off and tussling. I'm pulling my
buddy back, like yo, bro quon kwon. I go up
to the guy and the other team like yeah, he
gets little heated Yo, sorry, man, you just keep your cool.
Is it backstabby to go up to the other person?

Speaker 2 (50:05):
It is.

Speaker 8 (50:07):
I'm not saying you could be peacemaker, but you don't
have to make it seem like he's off the handle
and he's just a blow harder, he's a jerk. Like
now you're making him look bad. You know you're supposed
to have his back, not not to make him worse, so,
but being peacemaker, like Hey, man, I'm sorry about what
happened there. You know that's fine, but you don't want to,

(50:29):
like overemphasize the fact that he was wrong. So it's
a little back saby on how you handle it. But
being peacemaker, I think is just part of the deal.
Now again, Chris Dunn shoves the ball into Luca, into
his chest, and Hayes pushes back, has Luca's back done,

(50:53):
throws the punch. Luca then says, yo, man, I'm pumped.
He had my back, Jackson hay had my back. Put
his fine on my tab. If you're going out tonight,
here's the other part of the question that comes to mind. Okay,
if you're going out tonight and there's a lot of
people going out tonight, party night, Wednesday night, and let's

(51:17):
say you're doing better than your other pals, and let's
say you're the type of guy that brags about it
on social media. Oh you got a new Porsche. Why
don't you brag about it?

Speaker 1 (51:29):
Right?

Speaker 4 (51:29):
Like, people know you're doing well. It's just the world
we live in. Are you expected to pick up the tab?
You know why, Leeke? You know why Luca has the tab?

Speaker 8 (51:38):
Well a because Jackson Hayes had his back, but also
Luca makes five times more than him.

Speaker 4 (51:45):
Yeah, I think listen, I think part of the uh
part of the deal is if you're that guy that
lets the.

Speaker 1 (51:54):
World know they're doing really well, well.

Speaker 8 (51:56):
You also then you you don't have to be braggy
to know and today's world people just know. Say like,
if you're posting pictures of you and your you know,
random girls you're hooking up with in Bora Bora, you're
like on the you know, the beaches of Aruba, and
you know, I'm all in Europe again, and you're Instagram
braggy guy. I think if you meet up with some
old buddies, drinks are on you because I don't think

(52:18):
you could, Like, you got to almost follow through with
the brag. Then if you're gonna be all braggadocious, then
you got to be the guy being generous. And it's
not just buddies. Even though tonight's a big party night,
it's family, right. A lot of people are hanging out
with family, catching up with family for the holidays, Thanksgiving.
Maybe you go to the movies, maybe you're going to
see Wicked with your family, maybe you're doing something family oriented.

Speaker 1 (52:40):
If you're the bread winner.

Speaker 8 (52:41):
If you're the Luca of the family, They've had your back,
they support you.

Speaker 1 (52:45):
You're the star of the family. Do you have to
flip the tab?

Speaker 2 (52:48):
You know?

Speaker 8 (52:48):
Do you have to cover it the way Luca's doing it?
So Part A of this scenario last night, this whole
Laker's debacle, this whole tussle. Part A is loyalty. Right
where does the loyalty stand?

Speaker 2 (52:59):
Yeah?

Speaker 8 (52:59):
Part two is when to pick up the tab? So
your thoughts, and I'll say this, I agree with rich.
If it's known that you're the most successful, you don't
have to act like you're mister big shot. But you
pick up the tab. It's plain and simple, and you insist, Yeah,
don't worry about it. Man, Yo, bro, I got it,

(53:20):
trust me.

Speaker 1 (53:20):
Yo.

Speaker 8 (53:21):
If I didn't have it, I'd let you know next
time you have it. But right now, while things are good,
I got it, bro, trust me? Is my pleasure. Your thoughts?
Do you do you pull the Luca? Do you say
I got it?

Speaker 1 (53:33):
You say I got it? You say I got it?
So you know what I look at this as.

Speaker 8 (53:37):
And if I was Danny g I'd be extra pump
because everybody loves the little fireworks when they're watching the game.
But this is the ultimate, the ultimate chemistry builder, because
everything was done right. Jackson Hayes, protected the quarterback, protected
the star, he had Luca's back.

Speaker 2 (53:54):
Boom.

Speaker 8 (53:54):
A great chemistry builder. Yeah, b Luca shows appreciation, dude.
I'm only doing what I'm able to do. I'm scoring
forty points. Me Reeves and Lebron we're scoring ninety nine points.
We're the greatest trail on sports because dudes like you
are protecting us and I appreciate it. So, Bam, I
got you back, and I'll pay for the fine, and

(54:15):
I'm letting the world know how much I appreciate you
protecting us and having my back in that moment. You're
pushing this guy because I couldn't because I'm Luca.

Speaker 1 (54:24):
Dude.

Speaker 8 (54:24):
Everything about this just says that the Lakers are doing
all the right things, at least right now in the moment,
look good. And that's just the chemistry builder. So Bam,
what are your thoughts?

Speaker 4 (54:34):
Eight seven, seven, nine to nine on Fox. We'll take
all your feedback and we're gonna talk a bunch of
NFL tomorrow.

Speaker 1 (54:39):
The stakes are high.

Speaker 4 (54:41):
I'm telling you, some of these games coming up are
gonna be playoff deciders. They're gonna set the tone for
the final stretch of the NFL season, and we'll go
over a lot of NFL. We'll do midweek Major, We've
got some games, we got some prizes, just a lot
of fun.

Speaker 1 (54:57):
Our live chat poppin'.

Speaker 8 (55:00):
Do you know when Rich FSR, Steel Rivers hanging out,
Danny Riley after show, but later Wes and Idaho, Jeremy Lisa,
a lot of people chiming in, a lot of people
saying we got it right when it comes to loyalty
and trust, and that's what the Lakers are displaying protecting
Luca last night and then Luca returning the favor, saying, Yo,

(55:21):
I got Jackson Hayes back, I got his fine, I
got his tab. So so many questions are post based
on the Lakers drama last night. Again, Chris Dunn shoved
Luca and Jackson Hayes pushed Chris Dunn back. It's a
question of loyalty. Do you always have your friend's back,
do you always have your wife's back even if they're wrong?

(55:42):
And when it comes to flipping the tab this weekend,
if you're the most successful or if you're doing well,
do you always have to take the tab?

Speaker 1 (55:52):
I mean it's part of It's part of business.

Speaker 3 (55:54):
Right.

Speaker 4 (55:54):
It's like, you know, you got to dinner and people know,
you know he's doing well. And especially if you're having
drinks or dinner with someone, you hear them talk about
some type of struggle they're going.

Speaker 1 (56:05):
Through, then you gotta cover them.

Speaker 4 (56:08):
And that's the way you got to look at it, too, right,
It's almost like an honor to It's not a brag.
It's an honor to get the tab because you might
not always be doing well, but it's an honor. You
should be thankful this week that you are well, and
because you are, I got it. I have one more
thought about Luca and the chemistry you see before your

(56:30):
very eyes. I think that's the number one thing that's
downplayed in sports. We talk about this all the time. Sure,
I am a firm believer in a radio station, a company,
an office anywhere there's such a low emphasis where I
think that should be a predominant emphasis on chemistry, vibe, camaraderie,

(56:54):
all these type of things. I'm a Mets fan, as
you know. Right two years ago, the Mets took the
to game six in the NLCS, Grimace hacked to a girl,
all the gimmicks, all the fun oh my God.

Speaker 1 (57:07):
With Jose Iglecias.

Speaker 4 (57:09):
Last year's Mets team was flat and boring, and if
you ask some people inside that organization, know what they said.

Speaker 11 (57:16):
J D.

Speaker 4 (57:17):
Martinez was a veteran presence in the clubhouse that made
everyone feel loose. And Jose Glecias with the oh my
God and the singing was like the funny dude in
the locker room in the clubhouse, getting everyone loose.

Speaker 1 (57:30):
And you forget that when you play.

Speaker 4 (57:32):
Day in and day out, especially a long season like
baseball or the NBA or the NHL with his eighty
games or one hundred and sixty something games, seeing and
hanging out with people every day is a big part
of what makes the team successful. So when you're seeing
the Lakers click and personalities enjoying each other's company, and
you see it sometimes like I saw Christian McCaffrey the

(57:53):
other day say that this may not necessarily be the
most healthy best team he's been, but he's like, the
Niners really like each other, Like it's a team that
really enjoys being with each other.

Speaker 1 (58:06):
And you can see that with us check and all
and best locker rooms he's been a part of. Yeah,
so I mean you can't Downce. You can't down one
of those things. I was surprised he didn't say the best.

Speaker 4 (58:17):
Yeah, I mean, be honest without but but I think
those things are understated, right. And you know, sometimes you
see a player get traded and you don't get it
as a fan, but maybe you're not in the in
the mix where you'd be like, yeah, no one really
likes that guy. But and but you know who we're getting.
We're getting a guy that's really likable. So you might

(58:37):
think this guy's better than that guy, but this guy
is stankable. That ship that's never really accounted for.

Speaker 8 (58:44):
Uh, when it comes to payday bro right, it's so
important as far as team and fun and camera strywinning and.

Speaker 4 (58:51):
In life and going out and and everything. Think of
offices you've worked in. Some are boring as hell and
some are fun. I really did this radio shows on
this network other networks where everyone that works for the
show is in a good moved because they're happy to
be part of it.

Speaker 1 (59:05):
Others are, Oh, they hated. It's a reason.

Speaker 4 (59:09):
It's like a bad locker room, bad clubhouse, and I
think the Lakers are onto something. So Danny G, congratulations
to your team. I think you're one of the only
teams that have a shot to take that Oklahoma City.
Who's now, what are think seventeen to one or nineteen
in one? Well before high lost track, it's seventeen to one.

Speaker 1 (59:26):
Fresh.

Speaker 8 (59:26):
That's the key here, right because the only thing that
OKC because OKAC has that chemistry defending champions obviously, but
they got the youth. And I'm not saying that the
Lakers are old, but they're older than the thunder So
if they could stay fresh and stay healthy and they
could be what people are saying is the greatest trio
in NBA history, or they're playing like it anyway, to

(59:46):
be fair, then they have a shot. As of now,
in this moment, they're looking like they have a shot.

Speaker 1 (59:53):
All right, let's add a trip in Vegas and then
we'll go to I Love for an update.

Speaker 3 (59:56):
What's up trip, and guys to look forward to waking
up tomorrow and here and in the morning.

Speaker 2 (01:00:02):
Oh, thanks man, Thanksgiving.

Speaker 4 (01:00:04):
By the way, speaking to Luca, I'm pretty sure, uh,
Luca was traded to the Lakers and you and I
hung that day because we were in Vegas, and I'm
pretty sure we bumped into it.

Speaker 1 (01:00:11):
At the bar that night.

Speaker 4 (01:00:13):
He waited for me that night and we were, uh,
that's we were both looking at our farms like is
this real? Yeah, it was a wild night, and then yeah,
And as Danny g says, sometimes as a Lakers fan,
he's still like not convinced it's true, Like is this real?

Speaker 1 (01:00:27):
Like David at the dentist way back on a Wednesday,
is this real? Is this real? Live? So? What's up? Trip?

Speaker 3 (01:00:34):
So I was gonna say yes, obviously, loyalty and trust,
especially being h in.

Speaker 2 (01:00:37):
The Navy when I was younger. And then if you
are the.

Speaker 4 (01:00:41):
Most successful, I think you do take care of your friends.
And I'll tell you one other thing. If I invite you.

Speaker 5 (01:00:46):
Out, I should pay, regardless of my financial situation.

Speaker 7 (01:00:50):
That's just my opinion, you know what.

Speaker 4 (01:00:51):
That's a that's a very generous mindset. I think within
the dating world that's been lost because there's a lot
of young weenie dudes that don't pay for women anymore.
And call me old school, but you ask a girl
on a date, you better be paying for her drinks
or dinner. If you're if you're a real man, what
type of wimp ass dude is? Like, we're gonna go
fifty to fifty on dinner to me, and I take
a guarantee of no ass.

Speaker 1 (01:01:12):
Ever, like girl wants.

Speaker 8 (01:01:14):
To so with you on nothing puts you in the
friend zone and says that you're the biggest wimp if
you asked her out and you're going halvesies sound like
a man to us, see astute.

Speaker 4 (01:01:27):
I would feel if I was on a date with
a girl and I was a single young man and
I said the phrase like we're splitting this In that
same while I'm saying that, I feel like I should
be tucking my junk between my.

Speaker 1 (01:01:37):
Likes, Hey, do you mind going splits? Key's beat it?

Speaker 4 (01:01:41):
Especially as a girl dad, I would tell my daughter
tell that dude to beat it. Yeah, if my daughter,
who's only eight, when she gets older, I have one rule.

Speaker 1 (01:01:50):
Some little boy asked.

Speaker 4 (01:01:51):
You out to coffee or you know, two star starb's
or a.

Speaker 1 (01:01:54):
Movie, don't be with some chump.

Speaker 2 (01:01:57):
Ever.

Speaker 8 (01:01:58):
And by the way, that doesn't mean we're beinge this
or old school, And that doesn't mean we're not saying
women can't pay women. Hey, throw some money in for
dessert whatever, I don't know. Whatever makes you happy, you
pay for lunch next time. But if you're asking a
woman out, you pay for her. Simple as that. I
agree with Trip one thousand percent. Thank you guys for
all your feedback. It's cool to see the Lakers jelling.

(01:02:19):
When the Lakers are good, the league is better. And
you know your thoughts on this and more. There's also
a story about George Pickens and Midweek Major. We have
so much to get to on this party night. Michael
m hit us up on our live chat coven on
rich FSR. You could watch what you hear Covin on
Rich FSR. He says, no on the tab, like no

(01:02:39):
on the tab. If you're doing well, you don't flip
the tab.

Speaker 4 (01:02:43):
Be careful of you, be careful of you do a drunk,
high or sober. And I'll tell you why I went
to my ten year high school reunion, and I'll be honest.
I was being a little bit of a show off, okay,
because I came back there and like Rich like honesty. Well,
because at the time we were doing a TV sh
We're on the radio and everyone's like, man, Rich is
doing you know, Man, We're really happy for you.

Speaker 1 (01:03:04):
Bro.

Speaker 4 (01:03:04):
Like I was getting a lot of like a lot
of love at the reunion because I was doing some
cool things, and we're doing cool things now, so I
was like feeling myself in the moments.

Speaker 1 (01:03:12):
I was like, you know what next rounds on me?
And I looked around. I'm like, oh my god, it's
like a whole reunion class.

Speaker 4 (01:03:19):
I looked at my credit card the next day and
I bought like a seven hundred dollars round.

Speaker 1 (01:03:23):
You know what is interesting about it?

Speaker 4 (01:03:25):
Okay, be careful with your you know confidence. Yah, what's
up you jive turkeys?

Speaker 1 (01:03:33):
Hey?

Speaker 8 (01:03:34):
Happy Thanksgiving from your new friends that you never asked for.

Speaker 1 (01:03:37):
Covino and Rich, just the show.

Speaker 8 (01:03:40):
Covino and Rich props and shout outs to Dan and
the Dan nets in for DP.

Speaker 1 (01:03:45):
Always a pleasure to be here now.

Speaker 8 (01:03:46):
We're on Monday through Friday five to seven on the
East and you can watch what you hear watch at
anytime at Covino and Rich FSR on YouTube, live in
the Fox Sports Radio Studio, join the live chat de
Lux Recordings Talking Smack. William Crider is there, Colin and Canada,
Wysar Games, Lisa Paraggio getting all the feedback. Covino and

(01:04:08):
Rich FSR on YouTube. Now this hour action packed Rich's
TV Big TV Game of the Week and we get
everybody involved. At eighty seven seven ninety nine on Fox.
In about forty nine minutes, Old School win fifty hits.
Every Thursday on our show, we throw it back. But
Happy Thanksgiving. Thank you guys for hanging out. We're talking

(01:04:29):
about things that are wildly overrated right now. Some people
think that Thanksgiving meal in itself is overrated when it
comes to turkey.

Speaker 4 (01:04:37):
Rich, I'm one of those. I'm not a big turkey guy.
I change this a personal thing. I think the idea
of turkey being the central point. I can't disagree. I'm
not saying some people make a better turkey than others.
Some people roast their turkey. It's a little dry, got
it deep product turky. It's no better than getting a
rotisserie chicken from the supermarket. I feel that. But fry

(01:05:02):
a turkey, give it a little juicy or flavor. I
said to this year, we're smoking our turkey in the
green egg. I don't know how that's gonna turn out.
You know, you got to put you got to baste it.
And put all the spices and fruit on it. Maybe
some people put bacon on it, Spotty.

Speaker 1 (01:05:16):
I know you. You've cooked turkeys many a ways, right.

Speaker 7 (01:05:18):
Yeah, I've I liked to brine that makes it juicy.
There's a you can do a dry brine which also
holds in moisture. I've covered it in bacon, which creates
a great gravy at the end.

Speaker 2 (01:05:29):
So there's there's a lot of ways to do it.

Speaker 1 (01:05:31):
But I just don't overcook it.

Speaker 2 (01:05:32):
You gotta use a meat thermometer.

Speaker 1 (01:05:33):
That's that's the key.

Speaker 4 (01:05:35):
I do think though, that you shove your probe deep
inside the breast. I'm sorry, come again, Wait, don't so
my thought overrated? Maybe the turkey itself, because I think
if you ask me what I what I love, I'm
honestly gonna say like the stuffing and the potatoes, and
the desserts and all the appetizers. Like, honestly, I feel

(01:05:56):
like you start dipping into some of these dips and
app tizers and boards of meats and cheeses that Wifey
puts out ahead of time, I enjoy that more than
the actual turkey.

Speaker 8 (01:06:08):
Well, the list that came out is that there are
some sides that are also wildly over We went over
the yams. Can I get to the yams. I'll get
to the yams. Still sweet sweet yams. By the way,
how does the NFL's Mike Yam feel about this? Is
he upset about this? Shout out to mikey Am, our
old colleague. They're saying yams are overrated, green bean casserole overrated?

Speaker 1 (01:06:32):
Okay?

Speaker 8 (01:06:33):
And what was the third one that was highly Oh
cranberry and the can cranberry sauce. And I agree with
that one because there's so many better ways to present it.
It's the presentation that's kind of asked. We got that,
got that can, but you've got again.

Speaker 1 (01:06:47):
You usually like cans. You know what I do. I'm
not gonna lie.

Speaker 2 (01:06:51):
You nailed it well. Like the Campbell Soup executive said recently,
things in cans are for poor people.

Speaker 8 (01:06:56):
Oh yeah, I mean he did say that. That's what
they said. We didn't say that. Now that brings us
no for real, right, that brings us to something else
that Jake Paul said. Now, Jake Paul, if you don't
know successful influencer but who now doesn't know that, you
have to know that he is fighting Anthony Joshua December
nineteenth or super pumped about that. Even though we think

(01:07:19):
it's ridiculous, it's gonna be awesome to see.

Speaker 4 (01:07:21):
I mean, it's gonna be awesome to see if if
you've been waiting for Jake Paul to get knocked on
his ass.

Speaker 1 (01:07:26):
This is the the chance.

Speaker 4 (01:07:27):
Anthony Joshua is a beast. He may he may hurt
Jake Paul. But then again, there's people that there's other
fighters that are saying that Anthony Joshua was washed. Jake
Paul's hungry. So that's December nineteenth, but that's besides the point.
Jake Paul came out with a list that's creating some
buzz on social media only gainst. Jake Paul's, you know,
a loudmouth and he's popular. Can't deny that he came

(01:07:49):
out with his list of who he said, we're talking
about overrated sides. He has a list of the most
overrated athletes.

Speaker 1 (01:07:55):
Do you want to start from number ten to number one?

Speaker 2 (01:07:58):
Rich?

Speaker 8 (01:07:59):
Because you are a out down top forty sort of guy.
I mean, you don't want to hear Jake Paul does
on list?

Speaker 1 (01:08:04):
You want me to like? I mean, why not just
play Jake Paul's list.

Speaker 8 (01:08:07):
Oh man, I think you're gonna do your best casey
case of your best Spider Harrison, my best rigg dz
Rick des Anyway, let's hear Jake Paul, and I want
you to take notes of who he says because I
want to know if you agree with any of these
as being overrated.

Speaker 1 (01:08:26):
All right, let's hear Danny g hit it.

Speaker 6 (01:08:28):
This is my top ten most overrated athletes. These are
all facts. Babe Ruth overrated, Trevor Lawrence overpaid and overrated.
This was going to piss off a lot of people. Rinaldo,
Ryan Garcia, Condor McGregor, Dak Prescott insanely overrated, Anthony Edwards overrated,

(01:08:49):
Canelo Alvarez overrated to a Tager Volos overrated, and lastly,
Anthony Joshua overrated.

Speaker 4 (01:08:59):
Wow, So don't ah that list obviously, for you know,
little little jab pun intential early. He's not a top
forty pop radio guru like the great Rich Davis, because
you start a countdown with number ten and you work
your way to number one.

Speaker 1 (01:09:15):
He started with, yeah, number one.

Speaker 4 (01:09:18):
So you know, let's let's work in reverse order, like
we're doing a casey caseon Countdown in nineteen ninety coming
into number one, No Number two, bab No Number ten,
let's go backwards, number ten. Anthony Joshua is Anthony Joshua
overrated gold medalist.

Speaker 8 (01:09:32):
Joshua had all the hype in the world. I think
by the time the world started to recognize who he was,
you know, he was already past his prime. That's what
I feel like we always were as a fight fan.
We were waiting for that big Fury Aja fight at
Wembley like for years and it just never happened. I

(01:09:55):
just think he took too many punches. So you'll say, no, dude,
he was an Olympic old medalist. I think he has
to say that because he's fighting him and he wants
to know, you know, he just wants to put that
on his uh, he just wants to put that on
his radar.

Speaker 1 (01:10:09):
Just to get under his skin.

Speaker 4 (01:10:10):
I'll say this, I don't think my mom or like
my wife or you know, people that don't watch boxing,
my brother. I feel like Anthony Joshua is not a
household name, so he can't be overrated. If you're a
heavyweight gold medallist, if you're not a household name, that's.

Speaker 1 (01:10:23):
Bs, dude, because overseas he's a superstar. I don't live overseas, bro.

Speaker 8 (01:10:27):
Yeah, well guess what, pee brain. The world's a bigger
place than your living room. And I really think and
I agree with Deluxe Recordings who hit us up on
the YouTube chat, Covino and Rich FSR. Sometimes when you're exposed,
it's hard to like come back from that. Like, you know,
Mike Tyson was never the same when he was knocked out,

(01:10:48):
you know what I mean, went around the rousy. Yeah, Like,
when you're exposed, it's hard to get your confidence back.
And when Andy Ruiz knocked him out, the little chubby
Mexican dude became the first Mexican heavyweight champion.

Speaker 1 (01:10:59):
I was pumped about it.

Speaker 8 (01:11:00):
But when he got exposed that way, I think he
really lost his footing and and forgot about who he
was in a way, and forgot that he was really
a lion inside.

Speaker 1 (01:11:09):
So I think that was part of it. I don't
think he's overrated. I think he was never the same
after that for obvious reasons. Dude.

Speaker 8 (01:11:15):
That was like, imagine getting knocked out by Andy Ruiz
when no one was expected. You were so happy about that.
I was so I think that's all part of it.
I don't think aj was overrated. I think he's got
exposed and he just never recovered fully from that injury.

Speaker 4 (01:11:30):
He said, he's he gets equal excited when a chubby
Mexican gets an opportunity filling in for Dan Patrick for
the Oh well.

Speaker 1 (01:11:36):
I'm happy to make the Vato local proud.

Speaker 2 (01:11:38):
All right.

Speaker 1 (01:11:38):
So Anthony Joshua rated overrated.

Speaker 2 (01:11:41):
I don't know.

Speaker 1 (01:11:41):
Number nine.

Speaker 4 (01:11:43):
I think based on how much he makes, and I
can't believe Miami gave him that extension and that big
money contract. I do think two is overrated. I mean,
you know, great college player came in with hype. I
don't I never understood.

Speaker 8 (01:11:57):
I think that's it rich when you think of the
expectation and the money he gets. I have to agree
with that one. I'm not sure who he was talking
about exactly. Boy, our boy Colin Cowhert said that your
boy brock Perty is a right handed tua.

Speaker 5 (01:12:16):
Colin, get out of here, please.

Speaker 1 (01:12:18):
He did. He said multiple times. Canelo Alvarez number eight.

Speaker 8 (01:12:23):
No way, no way, no how dude out in my
face with that. Canelo Alvarez, the fighting pride of Mexico.
He's a legend, dude, He's a legend, and he carries
that torch. There hasn't been a dominant fighter to his
caliber since who he will see star Travis Man. So
as those points for being a Ginger, No, he gets
extra points.

Speaker 2 (01:12:43):
That's got to be racist.

Speaker 4 (01:12:44):
Yeah, is Josh Ginger as a race? I love ed
Sharon All right, let's go to number seven, number seven,
Anthony Edwards. The story is that written on him? He's
you're still such a young player.

Speaker 2 (01:12:55):
I don't know.

Speaker 4 (01:12:55):
I think Danny g you're you're the biggest NBA fan
of the room. But Anthony edwardsted no, No, I mean
I think he's rated, right.

Speaker 8 (01:13:03):
I remember plays Jake Paul's a troll, right, He's trying
to say things to get people fired up, just who
he is by nature.

Speaker 1 (01:13:11):
So when he throws a Canelo in there.

Speaker 8 (01:13:13):
He's trying to get his attention, trying to get under
his skin, trying to cause that and create that buzz
to get that eventual fight. And he might do it.
He might get it because the money's there. Anthony Edwards,
I agree with you, Rich, story's not written too soon
to say.

Speaker 4 (01:13:27):
Anthony Edwards, by the way, put up thirty one. Yesterday
they had a great game. But still this Oklahoma City
team is unbeatable. They're eighteen and one. They like this
just it seems like other teams play solid basketball and
they're still coming up short.

Speaker 1 (01:13:42):
One thirteen, one oh five.

Speaker 4 (01:13:43):
OKC continues to just dominate SGA last night put up
a forty plus spot all right. Number six, Number six,
Dak Prescott. I think he's a victim of like just
not getting enough love something. I feel like, you see
these numbers, Danny g Cavino where it's like, well, I'm

(01:14:06):
so torn on Dak.

Speaker 8 (01:14:08):
You know why, Because I think Dak Prescott's a likable guy,
and I don't think it all falls on him by
any means.

Speaker 2 (01:14:14):
He's a good leader.

Speaker 4 (01:14:16):
Yeah, I feel like sometimes the ineptitude of Jerry Jones
and how that organization is run falls on Dak, and
it shouldn't.

Speaker 8 (01:14:23):
But but you could say, you could say he has
the expectations of cowboys and the star players that I
that have run through during his time here. It's hard
to say that he's not. But I just don't feel
like it's all his fault. I agree, I agree with you, okay.

Speaker 1 (01:14:41):
Number five, Number five Connor McGregor again another one.

Speaker 8 (01:14:49):
I think Jake palfos in there because he sees dollar
signs in the future. I think Connor McGregor is one
of those guys that in his prime was the most
electric guy.

Speaker 1 (01:14:57):
But I do think that overall his name is Mark.

Speaker 8 (01:15:00):
I think, what do you think White would say, bro
Dana White would say, when Connor McGregor was in his prime,
was no one more electric, no one making more money,
no one getting a casual fan to tune in than
Connor McGregor. I know Dana White says that John Jones
is his goat, He's the all time goat. But Connor
McGregor was must watch TV, must watch pay per view

(01:15:22):
in his prime, and he's the guy that sort of
started all these.

Speaker 1 (01:15:25):
Circus fights but over rated. Maybe he's maybe.

Speaker 4 (01:15:28):
Jake Paul's ride with Connor McGregor in that. Yeah, in
his prime he was electric. You're saying all the things
out of the octagon that made him and still make
him intriguing, right, Like he's a loud mouth, gets in trouble,
he's funny, he's a personality.

Speaker 1 (01:15:42):
He walks down to the ring. Him and Vince McMahon
have been a similar walk.

Speaker 8 (01:15:46):
Like he has the he created that Jake Paul blueprint
in away because he's legitimately that guy, legitimately that trash
talking type of dude. Like he's the real deal or
was was? Is he now overrated?

Speaker 11 (01:16:01):
Yeah?

Speaker 1 (01:16:02):
The guy hasn't fought in years? Okay? Number was he
then like in his prime?

Speaker 3 (01:16:06):
Now? Way?

Speaker 1 (01:16:07):
Man, only he might be a little overrated. Number four,
number four, even though we don't do list.

Speaker 4 (01:16:14):
Radio, Ryan Garcia, this is not our list, it's Jake
Paul's list, Ryan Garcia.

Speaker 1 (01:16:19):
And I think Ryan gets in his own way.

Speaker 2 (01:16:21):
Man.

Speaker 8 (01:16:21):
I think Ryan has all the potential in the world
if he took it serious.

Speaker 1 (01:16:25):
Ryan Garcia has said some dumb stuff in his life.

Speaker 4 (01:16:28):
Yeah he's been he's somehow only when he was high, though, dude.

Speaker 8 (01:16:32):
The fact that he got knocked out or lost to
Roly Romero, I really like that shows you where he's at.

Speaker 4 (01:16:37):
Like there's no way he should lose to Roly Romero.
Like that dude is.

Speaker 8 (01:16:41):
Again electric power speed, He has it all good looks
and he gets in his own way.

Speaker 1 (01:16:46):
Bro.

Speaker 4 (01:16:47):
So Ryan Garcia is Ryan Garcia is definitely overrated because
he said he's a super handsome guy. Women love him.
He's popular on social media. If you took all that away,
he'd be a good fighter. But I think we well
know him because of the out of the ring stuff.
So yes, it's overrated. I'll say this, he could be.
He's overrated. I agree with you, but he doesn't have

(01:17:08):
to be. He has all the tools to be a superstar.
He just doesn't commit the way he should, all right,
Number three, Number three, According to Jake Paul, these are
the most overrated athletes of all time.

Speaker 1 (01:17:23):
Ronaldo.

Speaker 4 (01:17:25):
I'm not a soccer guy, but I feel like Messi
and other guys are are have a better pedigree, a
better history. But is Ronaldo more of just a famous
guy than the best soccer player.

Speaker 5 (01:17:37):
I don't know.

Speaker 8 (01:17:38):
That's for the record, by the way, six hundred and
sixty eight million on Instagram.

Speaker 4 (01:17:42):
Yeah, he's like the Lostiano Ronaldo. He's the most popular
guy on earth. But is he Is he that good
on the field energy I'm not a.

Speaker 2 (01:17:48):
Soccer Well, it's interesting you brought up Messi's name because
I'm not a soccer guy either. I looked it up.
It says. Some argue that Ronaldo is overrated, citing his
inability to perform at his peak and comparing him to
other elite players like man.

Speaker 8 (01:18:00):
See, yeah, I feel like maybe Damn Hansome then because
Kim Kardashian, if that's the beacon of popular in this country.
Three hundred and fifty four million on Instagram and again
he's over He's almost seven hundred million.

Speaker 1 (01:18:18):
That's insane. Yeah, it is insane.

Speaker 8 (01:18:20):
That's how popular he is. So if you want to say,
based on his popularity, he might be overrated, like does
his play on the field match that level of popularity?

Speaker 4 (01:18:30):
Did you say you might have a case here? Did
you see when he went to the White House? President
Trump put on social media an AI of him and
Ronaldo like head budding soccer balls and playing in the
old Office. Yes, very very all right, so Ronaldo, I
mean his look. You can see the women he's been with,
and his wife is beautiful. He's Ronaldo's living life. Maybe

(01:18:53):
a little overrated on the soccer field, But then again,
I'm just saying what I'm thinking. I'm not a soccer guy.

Speaker 1 (01:18:58):
Yeah, hey, we open it up up.

Speaker 8 (01:19:00):
Fox Sports Radio Nation Dan Patrick Nation eight seven, seven
ninety nine on Fox. This is based on wildly overrated
side on Thanksgiving and Jake Paul's overrated athletes.

Speaker 1 (01:19:10):
Guys, we're just going over two more quickies. I number two.
I agree with this one. Trevor Lawrence wildly overrated.

Speaker 4 (01:19:18):
We keep like this guy came out of college as
he's a generational guy. And you know, people talk about
dudes like Andrew Luck, John Elway. There are guys that
come out of college that are considered no brainers, like
I don't care about Oh, you don't know what's gonna
happen in the NFL. There are certain guys that are
like a guarantee to be good in the Pro.

Speaker 8 (01:19:36):
Rich just to play Devil's advocate. And I'm not disagreeing
with you or Jake Paul here. He plays for some
weak ass teams.

Speaker 4 (01:19:44):
Yeah, but you know, you try to build teams around them,
and it's not like Trevor Lawrence's single handedly like carrying anyone.

Speaker 2 (01:19:49):
I got a flashback to earlier this season when he
ran that touchdown in and beat the Chiefs. Remember, and
you guys came on the radio the next day and said, Ah,
here's the Trevor Lawrence we've been waiting for.

Speaker 1 (01:20:00):
Yeah.

Speaker 4 (01:20:00):
I can understand by that because we've been waiting for
it because I feel like he sucked a.

Speaker 2 (01:20:04):
Lot of time. But you thought, like, this is a season,
look at him and his team are arriving a little bit,
so maybe.

Speaker 8 (01:20:10):
You'd get excited about it because we've been waiting to
see this. Yeah, we've been waiting to see this Trevor
Lawrence that everyone was hyping up. You know, the same
college superstar that he was. We wanted to see that
translated in the NFL. I always gave him the past though,
because I thought his team sucked.

Speaker 4 (01:20:25):
Cor Cole, let me ask you this, buddy, boy. You
know how we always talk about you know, this sad sentiment.
I think everyone that's like forty ish or so. I
was like, man, time's flying. We all feel that way.
How long do you think Trevor Lawrences been in the
National Football League. I'm not trying to put you on
the spot. Five years, No, you're right, man. This is
this is year number five and his record in the
NFL is twenty nine and forty two. He's got eighty

(01:20:49):
three tuddies to fifty seven interceptions.

Speaker 8 (01:20:52):
Like I just and he escaped a lot of criticism
for the first like three and.

Speaker 1 (01:20:56):
A half four years.

Speaker 4 (01:20:58):
I'm like I don't know, just you know, he's had
this is his first like real winning season. He was
nine and eight in twenty twenty two, but since then
like losing, losing, losing, seven and four. Now he can
shed a little. The overrated. He hasn't lived up to
the expectation. If and only if somehow the Jags sneak

(01:21:20):
into the playoffs or win that division and catch up
to the Colts or something, because as of right now,
if they missed the playoffs again, you know what, you
how long are you gonna give a guy to be
you know, year off the year no playoffs before you're like, yo,
this guy stinks.

Speaker 1 (01:21:35):
And number one can I do my Spider Harrison?

Speaker 2 (01:21:38):
Yeah, hang on with th We got a drum roll here.

Speaker 1 (01:21:41):
Coming in at number one.

Speaker 4 (01:21:47):
The babe Babe Ruth, now yeah she yeah, see the babe,
the babe overrated such a weird thing because back then, yah,
they there's no black dudes, there's no dem guys. There
were no Asian players, like they didn't exist, baby, No,
they just didn't exist any no, you know, remember back then,
it was like Babe Ruth was the best among like

(01:22:08):
a bunch of like random white dudes.

Speaker 1 (01:22:10):
The game wasn't global.

Speaker 4 (01:22:14):
However, Cavino will point out there were years when Babe
Ruth had more home runs than like the rest of
the league combined.

Speaker 8 (01:22:22):
So it's you know, far superior than anyone else. So
you know when you have those goat conversations like he
was by far the goat of the time.

Speaker 1 (01:22:32):
You know, could he play in today's league?

Speaker 8 (01:22:34):
Yeah, I mean if you practice and train the way
the guys do today, you can't look at his swing
now and be like, look at his guy, look at
his fatso because then he was the beacon of awesome.

Speaker 4 (01:22:45):
Yeah, like today he might be if if Babe Ruth was,
if he was alive today and he still had those fundamentals.
Maybe you know, it's that generational dumb conversation we all have, Like,
all right, take a take a musical genius, like in
a genre, right, like with a Big Tree star or
like doctor Dre.

Speaker 1 (01:23:01):
Right, if doctor Dre was.

Speaker 4 (01:23:03):
Born in a different generation, is his ability just to
understand music? Would he have been a musician but just
a different genre? Like do you think certain people are
just so talented that they would have found their way
singer songwriters? Would they have found their way in a
different generation. I feel like if Babe played today, he'd
be like a Kyle Schwarber type. He'd lift more, he'd

(01:23:23):
be a little you know, I don't think Babe's overrated.
I think we look at him and you're like, look
at that tub of goo. That was the best player ever.
But he was a man amongst like boys.

Speaker 8 (01:23:35):
It seemed he was the babe, and he garnered everybody's respect.
He'd have sex with your wife and you were honored
because it was the babe. He'd beaten hot dogs while
hitting home runs and you'd pay to see it.

Speaker 1 (01:23:47):
However, he was the babe. That's why.

Speaker 4 (01:23:49):
However, you know, we've all athletes are so humongous now,
right like when we were kids, there was one Lawrence Taylor.
Now every team has a linebacker with the and speed
of Lawrence Taylor.

Speaker 1 (01:24:01):
Like we've just evolved as a species, right.

Speaker 4 (01:24:04):
You know how back in the day, they would depict
a fat person on TV, and now what used to
be a fat person on TV is now like a tipic,
like a regular like, oh they're a little thick. But
like what they used to think was fat, Babe, Ruth,
we think of this guy's like some Tubby baseball player.
You know what his size was, Babe Ruth, do you

(01:24:26):
know or know?

Speaker 2 (01:24:26):
I do know?

Speaker 1 (01:24:27):
Six two two fifteen. They have met six two two fifteen.

Speaker 8 (01:24:32):
Fat's gonna be. That's like that rich su after Thanksgiving dinner. Yeah, honestly,
I'm way more than the babe.

Speaker 1 (01:24:39):
I'm sick. I'm six foot.

Speaker 4 (01:24:41):
I'll do my little Dan Patrick checking six foot one
ninety three like I'm six foot in the one nineties.

Speaker 8 (01:24:47):
You tell me, Babe Ruth, is like roughly our size.
They ain't have a lot of muscle, a lot of belly.

Speaker 4 (01:24:53):
That's that's why I had a big fat head. Now
is that is that a two fifteen? Is that a
two fifteen? How like President Trump says he wishs two hundred.
I don't know, but that's what they have that.

Speaker 11 (01:25:02):
Right now, gobble, I just want to tell you this
very important. You are hereby unconditionally partner Bath
