Speaker 1 (00:54):
Eugene, Glasga. So thank you again for rocking out Graduate
Hotel sixty six to sixth Avenue, kicking off the Oregon
Washington State tripleheader weekend and then following weekend in Tempe,
Arizona following Friday, as to say to twenty fourth for
the PAC twelve Baseball Championship games. Now on this keen
(01:17):
sae dem io. Yes, we celebrate the anniversary of Rufneddledoor
because we, at least I at the time, didn't know
what a badass he was. I didn't know he could
throw hands like that because Bautista seemed like such a
badass dude. He seemed like the bigger, stronger guy. He
(01:39):
was the dude hitting all those bombs. So when little
ruf Ned got him into face like that and won
that face off, won that battle, I'm not sure Bautista
ever recovered. He was never the same. We didn't view
him the same. I'm not sure he viewed himself the same.
It was a reputation killer. That dude just seemed like
(02:01):
larger than life with his bat flips and his bombs
and his sunglasses. Roofnet ol Door humbled him like the
iron cheek Am I correct.
Speaker 2 (02:10):
In saying, who's the white sock? Was it Tim Anderson?
Someone got someone got caught with a punch.
Speaker 1 (02:17):
Oh yeah, that was like two years ago.
Speaker 2 (02:19):
Yeah, so the moments right on his ass where you
never look at the guy the same I wrote down
a couple in and out of the world of sports.
Speaker 1 (02:25):
How about how about Aaron Rodgers the minute.
Speaker 2 (02:29):
He started talking about politics and COVID and vaccines, Like
I think you know a lot of people looked at
Aaron Rodgers a different way, good or bad. Like you
could be like, yeah, that's my guy, or you know
he's crazy. I think Aaron Rodgers.
Speaker 1 (02:43):
That was a moment where you're like, yo, never gonna
be looked at the same. Yeah, but you brought up one.
I think that's a really good one. Actually, when Jose
Ramirez got Tim Anderson, because again Tim Anderson real out spoken,
kind of started it. Yeah, that was wow. That was
a good one. Rich I forgot about the one that
(03:03):
was a recent one too.
Speaker 2 (03:04):
You know, my mom always as a kid, you know who,
she always loved Amelio Estive as in Charlie Sheen for
some reason, My mom always loved them. When Charlie Sheen
got all crazy.
Speaker 1 (03:16):
Like tiger blood winning, like winning winning, wasn't there a
part of you? Wasn't there a party? That's like, what
the hell happened to Charlie Sheen? Like, did you ever
look at him the same? I heard crazy stories about him.
Courtesy of Corey Feldman. Yeah, things don't really made me
look at him the same way anyway, allegedly supposedly. Again,
(03:37):
don't take my word for it. Take Feldman's oh what
about that Kanye?
Speaker 2 (03:41):
We always thought genius weird because he's such a musical genius.
But then he starts saying stuff about Jewish people and
other people. You're like, oh, what's he doing?
Speaker 1 (03:51):
There was a moment where I thought weird rocking my
yeasies in public? For sure, I got another one. I
feel bad saying this because I was once a diehard
and huge fan of Howard Stern. I mean I worked
at ky Rock New York coming up and growing up.
But there's a lot of people that would say after COVID,
(04:13):
he hasn't been the same. Or you could say, hey,
he took an a list route and his interviews have
never met her and he's never been more connected with
a level guest and a level show. Yeah, depending on
how you look at it. It depends how you look at it.
But a lot of people say, after Covid, not the
same guy. Yeah, I missed the old Howard.
Speaker 3 (04:33):
He would have never let Jerry Seinfeld go in on
him like that, he would have came back.
Speaker 1 (04:37):
He didn't say a word. I mean, look there, it's
clear now. I don't think anyone will debate that he's
different and it's a different show. That's just a fact.
It's just a matter of well, did he get better?
He changed with the times? Do you like how he evolved?
You not right? Yeah? Me personally, I just I just
stopped listening, So I can't really give you a full
I'm just going by yeah, yeah, absolutely, so I just
(05:00):
don't listen anymore. But I know that's a popular answer
for sure.
Speaker 2 (05:03):
How about Kyrie when he started flat earthing and saying
some crazy stuff.
Speaker 1 (05:09):
I mean it was a party. He was like, Eh,
he's a great player and all. He's a little wacky
for sure, changed your perception of him. So now we
turn it over to you on the anniversary of Ruf
Nettledoor and Jose Bautista never was the same after that.
Any other examples, let us know eighty seven seven ninety
nine one Fox in the Fight Game.
Speaker 2 (05:31):
Yeah, you and I watched a guy that you thought
had all this promise and he gave up like mid fight, Victor,
Victor Worth. I watched him pretty much as like give
up midfight. And I used to think he was a badass,
because can you know He's be like, yo, dude, Victor
Worth's Victor thought he had a.
Speaker 1 (05:48):
Chance against Mayweather and then yeah, just and then Mayweather
was frustrating him. He headbutted Mayweather. Then he felt bad
about it, and remember the referee, it was Joe Cortes.
Back it up. And then he got sucker punched because
he was trying to hug and apologize to Mayweather. It's
like protect yourself at all times. Man, he never was
(06:09):
you know what, rich That's a better answer than you realize,
I think, because he was never the same. I don't
think he was ever the same after that. He went
from all this promise to like, yo, man, what happened
to Victor Ortz? He got knocked out by Mayweather, sucker
punched and like never came back from that. Ronda Rowsey,
Ronda Rowsey, great example. I was sam.
Speaker 4 (06:29):
She was destroying lesser competition than she went up against,
who wasn't a Holly Holme, Holly Home. Yeah, and just
got absolutely destroyed. And then I think it really affected
her her mental You know, I agree, man.
Speaker 1 (06:40):
She went from like unbeatable, invincible, kind of like the
Mike Tyson of her sport to all of a sudden
super vulnerable. Yeah, I agree, good one.
Speaker 2 (06:49):
Uh, this doesn't need to be like something bad happened.
But we talked about it last week when Lebron James
said we're not gonna win two, three, four, five, six seven.
That made him go from lovable kid from Akron that's
going to a different city to super villain of the NBA.
Speaker 1 (07:07):
Not three, not four, not five.
Speaker 3 (07:10):
Boy, I have an NFL one And this affected my
life in all of Raider Nation. About after Derek Carr
broke his leg, it's broke, it's broke.
Speaker 2 (07:19):
I thought you were going to say, I tell you're
gonna say John Cruden's emails that too.
Speaker 1 (07:24):
It's broke, it's broke, but it's broke.
Speaker 3 (07:26):
Think about think about Derek Carr, though he was in
the MVP conversation in twenty sixteen, had a hell of
a season in pretty much a meaningless game at the
end of the year as they were headed to the playoffs,
broke that leg never fully came back, as you know
the guy you know.
Speaker 1 (07:41):
Injuries are a big part of this conversation as far
as never being the same, never never being the same.
This money baseball hurt his back, was never the same player.
There's a show of ones he once was.
Speaker 2 (07:51):
There's a great example that's been on all of our
teams except yours, and that is a guy that I
loved him when he was a Met, Danny. He wasn't
a Dodger long enough for you to care. Four Noah
Cindergard was in a Donnis six foot six, long, blonde hair,
New York City loved him and it just in arm
(08:14):
injury took him from throwing one hundred and.
Speaker 1 (08:17):
Everyone's like four lightning bolts social media. He was funny.
Speaker 2 (08:20):
He was dating supermodels and then he couldn't. Is Eri
was in like the eights.
Speaker 5 (08:25):
You guys bring up baseball and a former Met but
long ago when Nolan Ryan punched Robin Ventura, Oh yeah,
Ventura was thought of as the wonder kid coming up
the college hitting streak, the young talent, and then you
charged him out and then get beat up. And that
never that he was never the same Robin Ventura.
Speaker 6 (08:48):
Ah.
Speaker 2 (08:48):
Right after that, I remember having his traded cards. Remember
when they used to have traded sets, tops traded set.
The Robin Ventura rookie. All right, let's go to Tony
in Oregon. Hope to see a Friday buddy boy? What's
going on?
Speaker 7 (09:02):
Heyks, check my call.
Speaker 8 (09:04):
As soon as you guys had said that.
Speaker 7 (09:06):
The first person I popped in my head was Michael
Jackson's being almost fifty. You know, that guy went from
being the coolest thing since plice Bread to being not
cool to being back cool again. And both my kids danced,
and so I was like, Hey, this is the guy
you know? And then I was like, hey, this is
not the guy I pressed on the HPO. You know
special if those guys coming kind of coming forward and.
Speaker 1 (09:28):
Yeah, depending on what you believe it, it's hard to
look at that guy that said again for sure. I
mean he made it hard on us to look at
him the same because he looked different all the time.
Speaker 2 (09:36):
I mean, how do you watch Space Jam and saying
I believe I could fly without thinking of R Kelly
doing some weird stuff.
Speaker 1 (09:41):
By the way, the guy who wrote that movie recently
got in a little trouble. He yeah, oh boy, might
make you look at that movie a little different. Hey,
you brought up the Mets. You brought up Thor dan
Byer brought up Ventura. Yeah, this was always a funny
story to me, and I believe it to be true,
even though maybe stats prove otherwise. But I believe that
(10:02):
the Dark Knight himself Mett Harvey, who went from like
the most dominant pitcher for the Mets. Everyone was super
pumped about Friday nights.
Speaker 2 (10:10):
There were chance like Harvey's better when Strasbourg would picture Yeah,
the Dark Knight.
Speaker 1 (10:16):
He had a nickname. Everyone was wearing Batman masks. He
was dating Victoria's Secrets model Adriana Lima, and I remember
they went through a public breakup and he was like
crying about it to the media and ever getting to start,
he skipped to start because of it. I'm not sure
he ever like really recovered from that, because you went
(10:37):
from ultra dominant to getting in his own way. And
I'm sure injuries played a part in it, but it
all seemed to start around that time, you know, because
that reput Then you're like he missed the start because
of that, and then you sort of like never looked
at him the same way and he didn't ever really
perform the same way. That dude had so much promise.
(10:59):
Let's say, what's up to Wayne in Virginia.
Speaker 2 (11:01):
Wayne, are in the same sports entertainment anything where where
one thing happened, then you're like, oh, I don't look
at him at the same way anymore.
Speaker 9 (11:09):
So going on fellas could be no rich and going
on big up to my boy Danny z Silver and
play for every baby. Oh yeah, Draymond Green Fellers. When
he started jumping on dongs and the Warriors lost the championship,
I lost all respects for that man. Not only did
he show no remorse after doing so, look at him
like fast forwards, choking guys out, you know, and just
(11:29):
doing all kind of create stuff. I just can't look
at him the same.
Speaker 1 (11:32):
Yeah, and you know, you could say that it's a
little unfair, but they're the ones that that did a
lot of this. They made us feel this way. We
didn't do anything you want to like Draymond Green. But yeah,
you know, I agree with him. I started looking at
him a little dirty after a while. Yeah, as far
as you know, as a player, he may be the
greatest guy going, but definitely changed my perception. Mike in Florida,
(11:53):
what's up, Bud?
Speaker 8 (11:54):
Hey, how's it going.
Speaker 1 (11:56):
Guys? We're good? What do you I didn't sucker punch anybody?
What comes to mind for you about a rod Oh?
Good one? What when he lied they give me the
give me the when he kissed himself in the mirror
a moment? Who was it?
Speaker 9 (12:09):
It was the allegations of the steroids?
Speaker 1 (12:12):
Or what? What about? Uh?
Speaker 2 (12:13):
What about when he tried to slap the ball out
of the Red Sox glove at first face?
Speaker 10 (12:17):
Oh?
Speaker 1 (12:17):
Was it?
Speaker 3 (12:17):
Bronson arroya rich You're wearing Cardinals colors right now? How
about when players get the yips and they're never the same.
Speaker 1 (12:24):
Think of Rick Ankiel, Rick and Keel, Chucknablock, Chuck nob
Blocke went through it.
Speaker 2 (12:31):
Dontrell Willis, don Trell Willis, Remember, couldn't find the strikes
one he was a saw young candidate.
Speaker 1 (12:36):
A year later, couldn't find couldn't find the strikes on.
Steve Sacks tells a really heartfelt story about how his
dad was his hero, right, his dad was his hero,
and when he was going through it, his dad said, hey, listen, Steve,
I went through this too, and here's what you gotta do,
and you just got to get over it. And when
(12:56):
he found out that his dad, his hero went through
the same thing. He felt better about it, and he
eventually got out of that mental funk because he was like, well,
if my dad went through this, and he's my hero,
I'll just follow his advice. And it worked. Only to
find out after his dad died that his dad never
went through it. He just did it. That's sweet to
(13:16):
sort of make it an okay thing for his son
to work out of.
Speaker 2 (13:21):
You know what, a lot of people take it away
from sports for a second. If you have friends that
went through a pretty bad breakup or divorce.
Speaker 1 (13:27):
Like they may not. They may not, you may not see.
Speaker 2 (13:30):
Them approach love the same way. I know that sounds silly,
but she took my soul.
Speaker 1 (13:34):
I think that's a good one, man, because it makes
you a little bitter.
Speaker 2 (13:37):
Yeah, like you like you may love again, but you'll
be a little, a little good, a little distant.
Speaker 1 (13:42):
Yeah, I tell you what.
Speaker 2 (13:45):
On a serious note, again, I don't want to be
all serious, but I had a buddy that was in Afghanistan.
He came back and she's not the same dude. And now,
you know, things happen in life that will make you
never the same. And I got the number one answer
in this sports world. But let's go to Ramsey in
New York City. First, what's up Ramsey?
Speaker 6 (14:05):
Yo?
Speaker 11 (14:05):
What's up?
Speaker 10 (14:05):
Guy?
Speaker 11 (14:06):
Just getting off Jeff van Gundy.
Speaker 12 (14:09):
After he thought a large one morning in the garden.
Speaker 1 (14:13):
It was a wrap dud his hair. Yeah, when he
was holding onto his wildless dude, his hair's all flought
so embarrassed.
Speaker 2 (14:25):
On a side note, you know that's a that made
you think less of him? Or like a week you
know what made me think someone's cooler? When Bobby Valentine
had the fake mustache. Oh I think you're saying, when
Marv Albert was biting asteraks.
Speaker 1 (14:37):
Yes, yes, that did make me.
Speaker 2 (14:40):
That did make me think a little different him, like,
oh Marv, huh. But the number one answer on the
board when you're like, wow, my opinion changed. Now he
had been known behind the scenes to be and again,
hold on, this wasn't like a matter of your opinion change.
This is a matter of they were really never the
same again. That's really where this conversation started, because Jose.
Speaker 1 (15:02):
Bautista in our opinion, and it seemed to be That's
where it was never the same again. He was never
that dominant bat flipping guy again. Now he may have
had a few moments afterward, but he wasn't the same dude.
After we learned more that, like, oh, he had been
a little shady until this moment.
Speaker 2 (15:21):
Everyone loved him and then all of a sudden there's
a chase on the four oh five and the one
oh one.
Speaker 1 (15:27):
Oh J Simpson, Hey, Twitter world, Oh J. That's probably
answer the most beloved guy number two, Bautista, number three,
Robin vandor.
Speaker 2 (15:39):
You know, Wes and Vegas hit us up, thanks for listening.
In the Vegas affiliate I Love Vegas. He gave an
example that Danny g and Dan Bayer both have a
little mental stake in, and that is when bo Jackson
ran over the boss and no one I know you
(16:00):
could say, oh he didn't have a good angle on it,
but he didn't rich, you know, like DVS.
Speaker 1 (16:06):
You know how many kids hit their Wizard of Boz
poster down that day garbage?
Speaker 2 (16:11):
I know, but he didn't have the best angle. I
think it was BS two, but he did leverage.
Speaker 1 (16:16):
I mean, what can he do?
Speaker 2 (16:17):
But I agree with you, I don't think it was
a fair call. It's like sometime someone gets dunked.
Speaker 1 (16:21):
Stop getting a flat top that that week, don't cover
for that steroid freak.
Speaker 2 (16:27):
You know what you ever see when someone gets dunked
on and it's a bad angle and you're like, oh,
they shouldn't be humiliated. They never had the right angle.
And then meanwhile they're poster on there. You know, there's
that uh, there's that famous John Stark's poster every New
York kid had.
Speaker 1 (16:40):
Did he really dun't over Jordan? Yeah? I guess he did.
All right, Uh, let's go to.
Speaker 2 (16:45):
Chris and Vegas. But first I was Sam has Well
what he got? I was Sam Well, Okay, a couple
of things.
Speaker 4 (16:49):
I don't want to flush his career because he's still
playing and he has had injury issues. But off the field,
Deshaun Watson and the massage stuff, we look at him
differently because all that stuff that came out true. You know,
he had a lot of he still has a lot
of I think he still has a lot of promise.
But when he was winning games with Houston, where like,
this guy is one of the best in the league,
and then that all that civil like lawsuit stuff.
Speaker 1 (17:11):
It's general. His story's not written, but he hasn't been
the same written.
Speaker 2 (17:16):
Listen, I was saying, I want him to be very clear,
because I feel like you always had to be very
clear because people twist your words, not you. I'm saying
in general, I'm not saying what he did was fine,
but he didn't murder someone. He didn't you know, he
wasn't abusing people like Deshaun Watson. He could turn around
the narrative. I think, like, you know, like it would
(17:37):
be crazy to be like, I've never heard of a
guy getting a happy onnthing massage like it happens. It's wrong,
it's not good. But I'm just saying, like Deshaun Watson
could change his narrative Michael Vick with the dogs. People
are animal lovers that guy like. To this day, there's
still people that are like, I.
Speaker 1 (17:52):
Will never like Michael Vick.
Speaker 5 (17:53):
But there were women that were not doing it on
their own choice.
Speaker 1 (17:58):
Is that like DeShawn Watson.
Speaker 5 (18:00):
Yeah, okay, well that.
Speaker 1 (18:02):
He hasn't been the same since injuries had played into
that as well, but yeah.
Speaker 2 (18:07):
He seemed likable and then all of a sudden you
hear those stories and Deshaun Watson's like.
Speaker 1 (18:11):
Oh uh oh, lots of people calling up for this man.
I appreciate it is a great topic.
Speaker 2 (18:17):
Chris in Vegas, that one moment that changes your perception.
We bring it up because it's the anniversary of Odoor
punching Bautista in the face, and I feel like we
never looked at Joey Batts the same way.
Speaker 8 (18:29):
Hey, first time caller, I would like to say, probably.
Speaker 6 (18:32):
Nick Anderson missing those free throws.
Speaker 8 (18:35):
Getting the rebound and missing two more free throws.
Speaker 7 (18:37):
I don't think his career is never the same.
Speaker 1 (18:38):
After that, missing a big moment. It's it sucks when
you're defined by these moments, you know. Yeah, Bruckner's probably
the poster face, the poster guy for that. His whole
career is defined by a moment.
Speaker 2 (18:51):
Yeah, Chris Weber was a you know, a great player
in college and the pros. But that time out from
Michigan when they didn't have timeouts, Like that's like the
image you have of him, and it's so of sucks
because I think the only way to recover, yes, have
a bigger moment, is to have a bigger moment and
come out on top.
Speaker 1 (19:08):
Bruno in New York, what's that?
Speaker 11 (19:09):
Bruno Jonalan, good afternoon, another great show as usual. We
we love you and by the way, man we're all pumped.
I now I've got friends, are going to make out, Eugene.
I'm hoping to get the tempty. But that being said, nice,
thank you man. No, We're we're digging it because I
know you guys put out.
Speaker 9 (19:28):
A good time when you're out there too.
Speaker 11 (19:30):
Real quick, I'll make it.
Speaker 6 (19:31):
Wait Bogs, okay, Scott Norwood, I mean, obviously their lives
are not their careers. Weren't only the owner but over
but they were they were done in life. I mean
they basically they were. They were they were ostracized by
the community. You know what I'm saying.
Speaker 1 (19:45):
What did Wade Bogs do? He just got a new
hair I thought Wade Bogs wa Bog?
Speaker 8 (19:50):
No, no, no, no, I missed that.
Speaker 1 (19:53):
Nor would definitely.
Speaker 6 (19:54):
But yeah, okay, man, No, I blew that thinking about
the Boston Red Sox third.
Speaker 1 (20:02):
Base in its first base. Yeah, Buckner, Yeah, I was like, hey, look, wait,
Boggs cried on a horse at Yankee Stadium. Say no,
that was a little bit dramatic, But I don't hate him.
Say do you hate Wait Bogs his hair piece that much?
What Norwood is.
Speaker 3 (20:20):
A really good answer, except he actually had a good career. Yeah,
you know, it's just that people remember that one big moment.
Speaker 1 (20:27):
That's what I said, like just being defined, but one
band moment is almost not fair. Well yeah, I mean,
like if you watch a bot piece the thing, I
don't think he ever recovered. That's the difference.
Speaker 2 (20:38):
I'm I'm not excusing like a whole behavior, but if
you watch that show. I know you did Morning Show
on Apple TV, Danny, you watched it really good. Steve
Carell's character, you know, remember when he was like getting
old mad. He's like, I had a career for this
many years, and I'm defined by this. Like you know,
sometimes you make a bad mistake and you are defined
by it sometimes, you know, when you're talking about Scott
(20:59):
Norwood and that's a forty six yard field goal right
by the way, he wasn't bat flipping like Jose Bautista was.
Speaker 5 (21:08):
When he's making these kicks, He's not doing crotch chops
to the other team. He's just going out there doing
his job. Well Bautistas, you know, batflip and everything, and
then when push comes to shove, he gets popped in
the you.
Speaker 2 (21:19):
Know, Batisa was like the loud got the club that
YO got you, Yeah, got chus.
Speaker 1 (21:25):
Absolutely. Yeah, that's what made it such a memorable thing.
I mean, that's a meme that lives on. And it
went from man, look at that batflip to look at
this guy getting punch in the face.
Speaker 2 (21:34):
Real, let's do this, we'll break, we'll come back, rapid
fire on the calls, and then spot he's got midweek
major All next, right here, Cavino and rich on Fox
Sports Radio.
Speaker 1 (21:44):
All right now. For centuries, the bomb between horse and
human has been forged by trust and hands on care.
Now the sport of third of but racing is combining
those traditions with cutting edge technology and meaningful reforms, raising
his safety standards to the highest levels. New investments in
wearable biometric devices that measures subtle changes in a horse's
stride and the use of advanced imaging technologies help flegg
(22:05):
potential problems for early intervention by expert veterinarians, reducing injury
risk WOW injury risk.
Speaker 2 (22:12):
Scientific experts test measure and analyze racing surfaces to ensure
consistency and the sports new independent regulator, the Horse Racing
Integrity and Safety Authority, is implementing comprehensive reforms, including state
of the art testing monitoring and strict enforcing along with
new uniform safety standards, enhance veterinary protocols and other measures
who ensure the safest environment possible for.
Speaker 1 (22:33):
Racing meaningful reforms, the latest technology, higher standards. Every day,

Speaker 10 (24:03):
Coveno and Rich get you over the middle of the
week when mid Week Major. I love that we throw
sports and pop culture headlines and topics at the fellas
and it's like the kids say.
Speaker 12 (24:17):
That's summit.
Speaker 1 (24:18):
We definitely mature.
Speaker 10 (24:20):
See in our score mid Week Major.
Speaker 3 (24:28):
Remixed because we want Spots to have even more time today.
Speaker 1 (24:31):
No, I don't need that much time, just a little
bit more. Suddenly, too much pressure on him?
Speaker 3 (24:36):
Suddenly, all right, when you hear the horns, you know
you have made it to the middle of the week.
The guys are going to see who gets first take
right now, Bro twelve, I'm.
Speaker 1 (24:44):
Trying to match him. Big Red Love Dice in the
main studio would be amazing, and Rich roll they six
o oouch, all right, I mean six Coveno gets to
go first. Hell yeah in now.
Speaker 3 (24:59):
Ladies and gentlemen, the most famous person from Scotch Plains
New Jersey's besides Judy Bloom Spotty boy.
Speaker 1 (25:06):
How are you guys?
Speaker 12 (25:07):
Hi?
Speaker 1 (25:08):
What do I do with all this time? Who knows?
Speaker 14 (25:10):
You?
Speaker 1 (25:10):
Gotta go quick? We have a lot of callers. Okay, stop,
all right.
Speaker 15 (25:14):
Tom Brady has shared some of his thoughts on his
most recent Netflix roast, where people went hard at him
and his family, his life, all that kind of stuff.
While appearing on the Pivot podcast, Brady actually said he
regrets doing the roast based on how some of the
jokes affected his kids. He addressed he addressed the bittersweet
aspect when you do something like that, you all of
(25:35):
a sudden realize you wouldn't do it again because the
way it affected the people you most care about. So,
but he did go on to say, if we're not
laughing about things, then we're crying. So he did see
some of the positive. It was just very upset and
said he would never do it again. So I do
wonder if this will affect any other people that may
have thought about doing a roast.
Speaker 1 (25:54):
So midweek Er major. This is major because it could
affect other people, and anything that involves Tom Brady is major.
We all watched it. It was great. This puts a
little bit of a tarnish on it, like, hey man,
that's kind of weak. But how is he the last
to know? What is he Britney Spears or Tom Brady?
He's the last to know that it could affect his kids?
(26:14):
What kid wants to hear that his mom cheated on
their dad with the jiu jitsu instructor give me a break, Like,
how did he not know that was a possibility? When
you're Tom Brady, you don't have that many things to
make fun of. Of course they were gonna dig on
your divorce, so he should have known better. Man, I
think it's sort of puts a little bit of a
(26:37):
I don't know, a little bit of a damper. There
you go, Danny g on a good time.
Speaker 2 (26:42):
I was so watching him find that word. I'd listen,
this is weak because you don't sign up for something.
Speaker 1 (26:53):
And then that shocked at like, whoa they could have
affected people in my life?
Speaker 13 (26:57):
Danny.
Speaker 1 (26:58):
If I say we're gonna roast you, no holes barred,
you don't.
Speaker 2 (27:01):
Think you'd would crush your mind? Like, oh, maybe what
would my wife Brenda think or you know, CoA. When
he gets older, he'll see this, like you want to
think of those things.
Speaker 3 (27:09):
And getting paid millions upon millions of dollars. I would
buy Ka some new shoes. Let me tell you tell
him the second up.
Speaker 1 (27:15):
Rich and I agree here he's just taking a weak angle.
We actually agree. I think it's major because it's Tom
Brady the way your roast is in December, Danny start walking. Yeah,
I'll throw one more thing in there.
Speaker 2 (27:26):
Nick Nikki Glazer had reached out to Kim Kardashian and
she was like, I don't know how you do this.
It's torture. It's like wrong, like so yeah, like it's
not for the weak. Carded the roast.
Speaker 1 (27:37):
Oh, onto me, all right.
Speaker 15 (27:39):
Jokic finally received his third MVB Trophy last night from
Adam Silver after the Wolves beat the I'm sorry. After
the Nuggets beat the Wolves one twelve to ninety seven
last night. When asked about the honor, he responded in
the most Yokic wave possible. He said, you know, I'm
grateful to get another MVP, but for me, it's just basketball.
(27:59):
I just don't know why other players cry when they
get this trophy. What I do is I end up
giving it to my horses to play with. That brings
me joy. So he uses the trophies as like play toys,
play toys for his horses.
Speaker 1 (28:11):
Maybe I think that's weak. We say, for players like SGA,
other players, it would mean so much to get this honor.
This guy lets his stupid horses play with it. That's
really weak. It's sort of diminishing the honor in my opinion.
And I get it. That's what makes him charming in
a lot of ways, and winning is everything to this dude.
But we also talked about how you gotta show a
(28:32):
little emotion man, at least fake the funk a little bit.
Speaker 2 (28:35):
That mean it's a mid story. We knew this about
him already. Let's horses play.
Speaker 1 (28:40):
With it that I get met with my I get
met with my dog.
Speaker 2 (28:43):
Choose on one of my kids stuffed animals. But imagine
this is an MVP trophy. I love your dog, richis
love you too.
Speaker 1 (28:50):
I got to see Pipers. Why don't you marry it?
I might say, allowed it? Piper waffles? All right. I
feel like we touched on this earlier.
Speaker 15 (28:56):
But for those of you that are a fan of
the preseason action too Hard Knocks. This year's focus has
been announced and they're staying in New York with the
New York Giants.
Speaker 1 (29:05):
They announced they've.
Speaker 15 (29:06):
Already been following the team for the upcoming season starting
back in January, which will allow them to feature the
combine the draft mini camps. Also a monumental year for
the Giants. This is their on hundredth season. So Hard
Knocks Off Season with the New York Giants will debut
July second on HBO.
Speaker 1 (29:21):
Midweek or Major. I think it should be major, but
it's a mid story. It's a major because it's a
great show. It's preseason. You're seeing the build up heading
into their one hundredth season, like you said, but no
one really cares about the Giants that much, therefore making
it mid. It's New York, we should care, but we don't.
Everyone cares about uh tomby Devido anymore. Yeah, Tommy Tomato's
(29:43):
making chicken cut. It's on the Jersey Turnpike.
Speaker 2 (29:45):
This story is so weak because of all thirty two
teams in the National Football League, Giants might be in
the top five of teams. I couldn't care less about
Elite neighbors might be a fun story, but Daniel Jones
trying to live up to the hyghe.
Speaker 1 (30:00):
And he's just a boring guy. Yeah, I don't know.
I don't find any at least I thought he had
a lot of promise, but he's just a boring dude.
Speaker 2 (30:06):
Yeah, maybe the coaches will bring a little fun. I
don't know, so I think we could, But then again
there's criteria.
Speaker 1 (30:12):
So Darren waller saga might be interesting.
Speaker 2 (30:14):
Darren Waller might bring some joy and some Elex drama.
Like you said, I'm not that intrigued, all right, well heart.
Speaker 15 (30:20):
Last year's Hard Knock star Aaron Rodgers did a two
hour plus sit down on Twitter slash x with Tucker
Carlson where he discussed many things. Among those things a
revelation that he does not watch porn, and the reason
is even better. He believes that porn sites could put
something on your computer and try and cancel you. He
(30:42):
thinks they like try and set you up for something.
He says he's never been into any weird kinky stuff,
so he doesn't watch porn. And even Carlson was like, oh, yeah,
they put stuff on there and they monitor you. What
really conversation. Damn, I'm gonna get canceled quick then, you know.
In that case, let's enjoy this show.
Speaker 1 (31:00):
Oh we can, right. I think this is major because
what if Aaron Rodgers's notto something. You know, we've heard
those rumors that certain sites have the ability to record
you and your tendency put a post it over your camera.
That sounds like the weakest Black Mirror episode ever. We
got a scam email here recently where they're like they
(31:21):
sent it out to probably a bunch of people, but
they're like, we have video of you on a kinky
website and we have you know that was real? Sam? No,
it wasn't. Yeah, sorry, I didn't get im gonna find
my face? Did you guys get that? I didn't know
came to work here. It's also a major confession, like
he doesn't watch Poored. That's maybe kind a while too.
(31:43):
Maybe he just has DVDs at home. Yeah, or VH
has a big puffy boxes. Yeah that's I'm not saying, Hey,
everybody should watch It's great for your soul. But I
find that interesting that he says he doesn't. What's this?
Speaker 2 (31:56):
I have a thumbnail and it's I wos Sam just
in a Caitlin Clark jersey.
Speaker 1 (32:02):
That's kinky though. I think that's uh, I think that's
a major because I think the reason is wild.
Speaker 2 (32:09):
Yeah, I back you up everything you said. I'm gonna
agree with. We're we're on the same pitch, well more spotty.
Speaker 1 (32:13):
Uh yeah. Do you want to go controversial? Yes? I know,
I know you love the story.
Speaker 15 (32:18):
Right, Kansas City Chiefs star kicker Harris, is it it's
Harrison Bucker?
Speaker 1 (32:23):
Yeheah right.
Speaker 15 (32:23):
Harrison Buker as catching heat for his recent commencement speech
at Benedictine College. His speech apparently included negative comments about women. Well,
he basically said they should belong in the kitchen the
LGBTQ plus whatever community, and criticized Biden on his abortion policies.
Even worse, he activated the Swifties. He put up the
Swifties signal by quoting one of Taylor Swift's songs, Bejeweled.
(32:46):
He didn't call her out by name, but he said
as my teammates girlfriend says.
Speaker 1 (32:51):
So social media.
Speaker 15 (32:52):
Had a field day, basically saying, who's going to tell
Bucker you can't quote Taylor Swift when you're being a misogynist,
d head. So pissed off a lot of people Midweek
or major man's first I'm hearing of this.
Speaker 1 (33:05):
I think it could be major when you involve the
sweeties and you're sort of quoting like he said his
teammates girlfriend and a terrible speech that might ruffle some ridges, like, hey, dude,
you can have your views, believe my girlfriend out of this, right. Yeah.
Speaker 2 (33:20):
As a well known conservative god, I was gonna say,
this is a mid story, and I'll tell you why.
We live in a world now where you might not agree
with Harrison Butker's stance, but it doesn't make you like,
does it make him a terrible human?
Speaker 12 (33:32):
No?
Speaker 1 (33:32):
He did.
Speaker 2 (33:32):
That's a problem, right, Republicans and Democrats think the other
people are so crazy.
Speaker 1 (33:36):
We're more like than you think.
Speaker 2 (33:38):
I just think quoting, like if I was giving a
controversial speech, I want to be like And as my
buddy Spot's.
Speaker 1 (33:43):
Wife says, I just you know, like.
Speaker 2 (33:46):
Say, yeah, so I say it's a it's pretty mid
because let the guy have his beliefs.
Speaker 1 (33:50):
You're allowed to have your own beliefs, right, Yeah, interesting,
interesting story though. All right, let's go to thanks guys
and yours. I got all my stories today, Yes, damn guys.
Speaker 5 (34:02):
The story between the Caves and Celtics could end Tonight
in Boston. It's Game five. Celtics are up thirty one.
The Calves are going to be shorthanded. Donovan Mitchell has
been ruled out. They're also playing without Kris Lavert and
Jared Allen. Tonight tip off coming up at the top
of the hour. Now Game five and two of the

series is tied up at two apiece. NFL schedule released tonight.
(34:24):

News Black Friday as the Raiders at the Chiefs, while
on Thanksgiving Day, Giants will be in Dallas against the Cowboys.
Speaker 1 (34:44):
That's according to The New York Post.
Speaker 5 (34:45):
The Athletics says it's Dolphins and Packers on Thanksgiving night.
Speaker 1 (34:49):
Netflix.
Speaker 5 (34:50):
By the way, we'll also be releasing a ten episode
series as the documentary will focus on Cowboys owner Jerry Jones.
College football, Northwestern will play Ohio State and Illinois at
Wrigley Field as renovations continued to take place at Ryan Field.
Those games on November sixteenth and then on November thirtieth,
(35:10):
the other home games on their schedule actually being held
at the team's practice facility along the shores of Lake Michigan.
Speaker 1 (35:16):
Now, let's get to.
Speaker 5 (35:17):
Baseball where the Orioles walked off the Jays today three
to two Atlee Rutchman the two run shot in the
ninth Diamondbacks two one winners against the Reds. Marlins blanked
the Tigers for the second straight day two nothing, while
the Rockies have won seventh straight. They just blanked San
Diego eight to nothing. Brewers over the Pirates ten to two,
and the White Sox were two nothing winners against the Nationals.
(35:39):
Mariners lead the Royals three to one in the eighth inning.
Astros pitcher Roun al Blanco suspended ten games for having
a foreign substance on his glove.
Speaker 2 (35:48):
Guys, back to you, I didn't realize how bad the
Colorado Rockies were that by winning seven in a row,
there's still thirteen games under Nie hundred, right, Wow, and
Dan Meyer, I think the big question is you said
those Christmas games are on Wednesday? Because Christmas Wednesday? What
days are people going to take off that week? Is
it like a wash of a week?
Speaker 1 (36:05):
Like?
Speaker 2 (36:06):
Do you take off the days leading up to Christmas
after like or it is gonna be the most unproductive
week ever.
Speaker 5 (36:12):
Gosh, you know the Christmas on Wednesday does throw such
a curveball?
Speaker 6 (36:15):
Right?
Speaker 1 (36:16):
Well, could you book nd it with? What do you do?

Tom Brady the last to know that his kids might
be upset that everybody was talking about their mom at
the roast. It's a great song. I knew there was
something about it that rubbed me the wrong way, but
maybe the last I wasn't offended. I thought it was funny,
but I wouldn't do something like that. I'm on team
(37:56):
Jason Kelsey. When he talked about it, he was like,
I don't know what why anyone would really sign up
for something like that or the last to sign off
on your bobblehead? Oh oh you saw that?
Speaker 6 (38:07):
Saw?
Speaker 1 (38:07):
Did he show you? Oh? Man, it's the first time
I saw it. Oh, it's horrible. There's a Caitlin Clark
bobblehead and it's gone viral because people are saying it's
nothing like her, and they're saying pretty harsh things about it.
She should have put her hair down. Yeah, I agree,
I agree. Yeah, she's having a bad few days. Sweet,
it's her fault. Clay Thompson bubblehead. It's not a Clay
(38:29):
Thompson bubble Katelyn.
Speaker 4 (38:31):
She's not the most feminine looking like she but they
did not do her any any favors whatsoever.
Speaker 1 (38:36):
They made her look more masculine like my.
Speaker 2 (38:38):
Kids who draw their four and seven when they draw things,
like my daughter would be like, it's a girl because
I put eyelashes on it, Like, just like, come on,
do something.
Speaker 15 (38:47):
To The bubbleheads are somewhat of like a physical caricature.
I like not exaggerated, but like you highlight the features
of the person, you.
Speaker 1 (38:56):
Make them look good. It's like giveaway, give her like
plumper or something, long hair and something. The shape of
her face is off. Yeah.
Speaker 2 (39:07):
Givin always brings up the point that Kivino always says
that if you have a headshot, a bubblehead, something featuring you,
a poster, your job is to make you look actually better, yeah, worse,
Like like if some highlight your work, Like if you
see someone's like baseball card, a promotional photo, or you
go to, you know, a Lakers game and there's a
poster of Lebron or something, it should be like a
(39:29):
flattering picture. You should No one should be printing or
manufacturing things that make.
Speaker 1 (39:33):
You look worse. All right, Well, I want to thank
you guys for hanging out with them laughingtire Rack dot
Com Studios again, Cavino and Rich And let's get to
these phone calls. So many people calling about that moment. Rich,
it's the anniversary of Roof Nedodor and Jose Bautista and
we're not sure he ever recovered from that. Yeah.
Speaker 2 (39:50):
So it's those moments in life where something happened to
someone and you never looked at them the same way
people have been on hold a while, really appreciate it.
We'll start with Roger go rapid fire to call what Crossfire?
Speaker 6 (40:02):
How you doing?
Speaker 7 (40:03):
So?
Speaker 8 (40:03):
I got two from the entertainment world. The first one
was Allen degenerous because she had such a squeaky clean
image and then it came out he was quite the
turd behind the scenes.
Speaker 2 (40:12):
Yeah, I only got kicked off a TV for being gay,
and everyone's like, oh my god. It was like the worst, right,
and then we all apologized, like Ellen, we were terrible
to you. And then it turns out she's a tyrant tyrant. Yeah, yeah, yeah, Orlando,
I'm sorry.
Speaker 8 (40:25):
The one that affected me more was I grew up
in the seventies watching Americans. I listened to the American
Top forty. When Kasey kase got caught on tape for
family laced tirade on a on a fellow worker. That
really hurt my image of Casey because he was so
squeaky clean.
Speaker 1 (40:42):
And he had a point. I mean, how do you
come out of a slow song like that about Miami?
What's up? Where my photos? How about Tiger Woods and
his wife?
Speaker 8 (40:52):
Uh yeah, thanksgiving her Christmas, I forget a holiday.
Speaker 2 (40:57):
Yeah, Tiger was I was gonna make a bad joking
on I would say to bleep me.
Speaker 1 (41:01):
Brandon in Kansas, Hey, Brandon.
Speaker 14 (41:04):
Yeah, the color before just took the Tiger one for me,
but off the top of my head. Albert Poohls after
he scored that big contract with the Angels, He's never
the same.
Speaker 2 (41:14):
Oh no, but he wasn't for a minute. He just
redeemed himself toward the end of his career. Jimmy in Texas,
what's up, hey, buddy?
Speaker 12 (41:22):
Yeah, Hey, what.
Speaker 14 (41:23):
A pleasure to come after spot in his midekak May Yeah, yeah,
thank you.
Speaker 9 (41:28):
Lager Yeah.
Speaker 14 (41:29):
So but anyway, now I'm gonna fire these off to y'all,
and y'all decide better or worse. Of course, you have
De la Joya and his fish net. You have Anderson Stova,
Wineman and McGregor with a lake breaks in UFC. And
then of course my favorite Bill Clinton.
Speaker 2 (41:42):
Oh, Bill Clinton's a good one. Oscar de la Hoya
and the fish net stockings. That's a a good one too.
Speaker 10 (41:47):
Uh.
Speaker 1 (41:48):
Sack Town Shawn love this guy. What's up? Sean yo?
Speaker 11 (41:52):
My graduate Hotel alumni. The guys took my Tiger went too,
but off the top of their legs. Hulk Hogan when
he got caught on camera doing the dirty dirty dads.
Speaker 1 (42:02):
The guy was never the same.
Speaker 8 (42:03):
We went from America's hero to being a complete leave bag.
Speaker 2 (42:06):
Yeah, and he said some stuff that was questionable as well.
Speaker 1 (42:09):
So you're right, Jean and Joe and Spokane wrap it.
What's up? Ten seconds?
Speaker 12 (42:13):
Hey, how about Kyle Williams in this twenty eleven NFC
Championship game against the Giants, not one but two must
fumbles fumbles the hands the Giants the keys to go
to the Super Bowl.
Speaker 1 (42:24):
Yeah, I hated that, tough, trust me. Say thank you man,
Thank you everybody for grating chiming with your answers if
we didn't get to at Covino and Rich and thank
you guys for a fun show. Enjoy the games tonight.
Speaker 2 (42:34):
Absolutely, enjoy the NBA playoffs, Enjoy all your favorite shows,
and we'll see you back here tomorrow. Until then, Rivederci,
baby you in the Promised Land, get back right.
