Speaker 2 (01:02):
I'm wearing a forty nine Ers T shirt today, but
it's one I got at one of their losing Super Bowls.

Speaker 1 (01:07):
Would you still wear this or is it like bed juju?

Speaker 5 (01:09):
Get at it here?

Speaker 1 (01:10):
Of course you wear it, but it's a losing It's
a losing effort. Dude.

Speaker 2 (01:14):
When I see the goofy T shirts you wear and
you're questioning that one, I think you wear that one
more often. Yes, wear it, lean into it. You wear
Ben Savage T shirts. I'm not even kidding. I do
know it's the second time I brought him up, but
he does. Maybe you're the one that loves Ben Savage. No,
because you do. I know you love that guy. I
mean nothing against Boy Meets World anyway. Remember if you're

(01:59):
your big TV game of the week. Rich Let's wrap
up with these phone calls here at seven seven ninety
ninefolds and.

Speaker 1 (02:05):
A quick thought about show. Hey, but say hi to
James in Virginia. What's up James? James?

Speaker 2 (02:10):
We were talking solo missions all out. Joey Flacco eating
lonely burgers.

Speaker 1 (02:15):
He's at the.

Speaker 2 (02:15):
Stage of life where sitting alone on a road trip
at the bar's good, you know. Especially listen, this guy's
played in the NFL for all long ass time. He's
got kids, he's got responsibility. So those moments of a
loone time and again. I always picture sitting at the
hotel bar having a burger and a drink is the
best example.

Speaker 1 (02:34):
He embraces it. Others don't like doing solo missions. Dude
cruising around gentlemen, Hey buddy, what's up James?

Speaker 6 (02:42):
Happy Friday?

Speaker 3 (02:43):
Guys?

Speaker 6 (02:44):
I hell you the Commanders big time, all the time,
every time, man and no, I definitely feel Chase Man.
When I was a guy in my twenties, I definitely
had to be with the Fellas Man. It was NonStop.
But as a forty two year old man today, I
truly believe man, that happiness starts from within, man, And
you have to love yourself before you can love anybody
else man, before you can share all that look and

(03:04):
sometimes you have to be by yourself to really learn
what you like in life. Man. So taking time to
be alone it's never a bad thing.

Speaker 1 (03:11):
Dude. That was a great call and I really related.

Speaker 2 (03:16):
No, no, for real, because I think we all felt
like Jamar Chase and the same way James did when
we were younger, and we evolved into like nah, man,
alone time is great time. But I think it's a
lot of you know, feeling comfortable with yourself, just the
difference between someone Jamar Chase at Joey Flacco's age, that
is the age where you start to become more comfortable

(03:37):
with who you are, and Joey Flacco is like, Dude,
I have been here, done that, I'm the man. Well
I saw what's his name, Noah? Trevor Noah was on
some podcasts talking about how men do have a problem
with It's always the third thing. It's like me you
and what are we doing? Me you and what me?

Speaker 6 (03:54):
You?

Speaker 2 (03:54):
And steak me you and burgers me you and the game.
Buddies don't just hang out and just sit there and
chill anymore, you know, so we always feel like we
need to be doing something with our friends.

Speaker 1 (04:04):
That's a good point. And I usually think that guy's terrible. Yeah, no,
I don't.

Speaker 2 (04:07):
I'm not a big fan of you called it like
the third something or whatever. It's always Yo, me, Danny
and let's go to David Busters, me and you and
let's go watch the game.

Speaker 1 (04:18):
Me, you and like you don't always have to do something.

Speaker 2 (04:21):
And I think that's the thing with guys, and that's
why we cherish our alone time too, because we can
actually just chill and relax every once in a while.
But it would be nice if you could have your
body's around and just chill and not have to drink,
not have to put on a show.

Speaker 1 (04:33):
You'll not really have to force the conversation. You just
sit there.

Speaker 7 (04:37):
You know.

Speaker 2 (04:37):
I was pretty good with that with my hometown buddies,
but you know, we're out here in LA and you
always do feel like you need that third thing.

Speaker 8 (04:45):
In Virginia's call there, it was a good point because
we all have that friend or multiple friends who can't
be alone. They always rebound right to another relationship right away.

Speaker 2 (04:56):
Or need that third thing. My point is you don't.
Sometimes you you could still be with friends. It's just
that pressure of having to entertain or do something to
tell jokes that doesn't always have to be there. And
women would, they say, and Trevor Noa said this too.
Women are better at that than we are because they
get just sit there and talk and and talk things
out and actually speak from the heart and from the mind.

(05:16):
And we always like have to have a game on
or something, and that's fine too. But you know, that's
why I think we enjoy our alone time.

Speaker 9 (05:23):
I think a good friend is someone who comes over,
You go over their place and like you don't have
to entertain them, they don't have to entertain you.

Speaker 1 (05:28):
Yes, but how often does that happen?

Speaker 5 (05:30):
Sam?

Speaker 9 (05:31):
Those are your really good friends, right, because you feel
like there's no tension in the are you can just
sit there and with complete silence if you want.

Speaker 2 (05:37):
In complete science, you know, and if there's a lull
in the conversation, so be it, you know, get.

Speaker 5 (05:42):
It and go get more peanuts.

Speaker 1 (05:43):
That's it.

Speaker 2 (05:43):
Yeah, sounds uncomfortable, no, but I think that's why we
do cherish our alone time because when we are with
our buddies, you know, a lot of times it's it's well,
what are we doing to keep it fun to entertain to?
You know, what's that third thing that's keeping us entertained
and occupied? Jerryix, what's up?

Speaker 5 (06:00):
Jerry?

Speaker 2 (06:00):
Hey, Budy, Hey, guys, love your show, Love your show.

Speaker 1 (06:04):
Thanks.

Speaker 10 (06:04):
Davis Fellow forty nine er fan here.

Speaker 5 (06:07):
Yeah.

Speaker 10 (06:08):
So when I was nineteen years old, nineteen eighty seven,
I moved up to San Francisco, had my own place
on my all by myself. I didn't have the television
for about the first year I lived there, so watching
my San Francisco Giants make the playoffs for the first
time in my life, I used to walk down to
left the o'duels in downtown San Francisco and watch the

(06:30):
game there, eating my burger and drinking my soda because
I wasn't even old enough to drink alcohol at the time.
But I really enjoyed that and look back at that
memory pretty fondly.

Speaker 2 (06:40):
Yeah, that's really cool, and I think, to wrap it up,
I think it depends on where you're at in life.
And you hear that in those two clips, and that's
why we played on. It's that contrast that we all
experienced at some point in our life.

Speaker 1 (06:52):
You were like, no, I got to be with all
the boys out too. No, I'm cool being alone.

Speaker 2 (06:56):
I think that's a mark of a good friendship. Like
you said, when you could just really do nothing with someone,
You're like, all right, then that's a pal mm hmm,
totally all right. We're gonna get the big TV game
in a second. But one thought about show. Hey, as
we entered Game one of the World Series tonight, they
just showed a little clip on TV of, like, you know,
his last game six innings, ten strikeouts, three home runs.

Speaker 1 (07:15):
One out of Dodger Stadium.

Speaker 2 (07:17):
Does he have a in your mind, Danny, a mulligan
of sorts for the first game or so if he
if he has an OZ for tonight or has a
rough start, do we how long is he able to
live off of?

Speaker 3 (07:28):
Yeah?

Speaker 1 (07:28):
But like a week ago, I had the greatest game
in the history of.

Speaker 8 (07:31):
Baseball, Well he has no mull again with our very
own Rob Parker.

Speaker 1 (07:35):
No show tany Yeah.

Speaker 8 (07:38):
Yeah, I think rich that that people are going to
understand that he can get into the bad habit of
taking those tight inside pitches and then the pitcher if
they're smart, they go outside.

Speaker 5 (07:50):
And you see him reach.

Speaker 1 (07:52):
He reaches and has the awkward outside swaying.

Speaker 2 (07:54):
It exactly, and that's what was going on when he
was cold, but no one he could explode in any moment.
Like we were saying before he unleashed that three home
run game, he was bett in one fifty before that,
we we said his presence was still there. So you know,
even if he has a bad game or two rich,
his presence is still going to be a difference in

(08:15):
the game.

Speaker 8 (08:15):
And he is patient at the plate. That's when you
see him have his breakout games.

Speaker 2 (08:20):
And one last thought about the alone time. This is
an interesting thing too. You see, as you know, listen
our parents generation and grandparents' generation. You know what the
big difference is a lot of your parents and grandparents
got married when they were like twenty ish.

Speaker 1 (08:34):
Or so, like twenty three, twenty two, twenty four.

Speaker 2 (08:37):
They went straight from like honestly, like school or the
military or whatever they did to like married. A lot
of our friends meet the right woman or the right
dude when they're thirty, thirty five, forty something.

Speaker 1 (08:49):
Yeah, we've gotten to know ourselves.

Speaker 2 (08:51):
You spend a lot of alone time, which is why
I think sometimes it's hard to break your habits of like, no,
I need that alone time because if you're like picture
one of your single buds, if you ever single friend
around forty, you can't just link up with someone and
live a cohabiting lifestyle when you're really just been living
on your own for a while. So that on Love

(09:13):
is blind with that that one girl, that successful woman
who was like, maybe, uh, maybe I'm not cut out
for this, you know, because she's been on her own
and successful, Meg Jordan.

Speaker 1 (09:23):
Yeah, the spar sparkle Meg.

Speaker 2 (09:25):
Not to spoil love is Blind for you, but her
whole deal was she's like a good looking, hotshot woman
that made a ton of money, and she's the type
as he said, they could play pickleball on a Wednesday
morning and he's like he's like, yeah, I.

Speaker 1 (09:37):
Gotta like work and bring my kids to school where.

Speaker 5 (09:40):
You know, she's like boring.

Speaker 1 (09:42):
Yeah, honestly, think about it. You see you see moms
out here.

Speaker 2 (09:47):
Calabasas Moms, which is where like the Kardashians lives and stuff.
They're all like doing things at like ten eleven in
the morning any given day, Like does anyone work? That's
definitely an la right sort of thing. Yeah, you notice
that when you're here long enough.

Speaker 1 (10:00):
What does everyone do?

Speaker 5 (10:01):
All right?

Speaker 2 (10:01):
So we have a few things that we have to
get to this hour. Brain Wave, the game that sweeping
the Nation, wave Game one of the World Series, and
brain waves brain waves not power waves is yeah, there's
no waves, just one band waves all the same brainwaves.
That's how you win a prize. We'll tell you when
to call in for that and get ready to Waves

(10:22):
eight seven, seven ninety nine on Fox Plus Weekend Hobnob
and what you need to watch. But Rich is going
to let you know right now as far as foosball man,
by the way, last week last night, did you sort
of tune out because the Chargers sort of have their way?

Speaker 1 (10:37):
Listen last night, truth be told.

Speaker 2 (10:40):
I had my kids practice, I played some softball, I
was I was out in about I was watching the
game on and off of my phone, and I'm like,
this game stinks. I felt bad. It was kind of
I felt bad for a boss. Not that I'm kissing Ash,
but he's a Vikings fan and he went there. I
saw with his kid and stuff. So it's like just
rough a rough go for the Vikings.

Speaker 8 (10:57):
But the biggest reason why the Chargers were able to
get two of their best o linemen back, especially Joe Alt,
and that just shows you how important it is in
the NFL to have your your best foot forward there
on your line, because Herbert was running for his life
prior to those two injured players returning.

Speaker 2 (11:16):
I know people don't care about others fantasy teams, but
Dan Bayer, you're the fantasy guy. Got the show every weekend.
I pick up Jordan Mason this week random way of like, yeah,
let me add him to my roster.

Speaker 1 (11:27):
Four carries three yards, like that is yeah.

Speaker 5 (11:30):
Aaron Jones return was not helpful and that was not
good at all.

Speaker 2 (11:34):
I was like, damn And by the way, Aaron Jones
four carries fifteen yards.

Speaker 5 (11:38):
Yes, yes, it was rough.

Speaker 11 (11:39):
And even though I'm a Rich Davis guy, Cavino knows
that I have the I Want Your Flex podcast. My
Sunday show is the NFL Late Window. So rich, I'm
a Rich Davis guy, but there isn't a fantasy show
on the weekend.

Speaker 1 (11:51):
You know it knows about.

Speaker 5 (11:52):
It though, you know it does.

Speaker 2 (11:53):
A lot of people love to talk. Oh you work
at Fox Sports. They start talking fantasy stuff with me. Yes,
not my expertise, but I feel cool knowing that I
have your show in my back pocket like fantasy.

Speaker 1 (12:04):
Here's what I direct people to, Dan tune.

Speaker 2 (12:06):
Now look at this guy's true like you got you
know where I get my info from. I want your
flex podcast, Dan Meyer's great, you gotta check that out.

Speaker 11 (12:14):
I'll also say having a one armed Carson Wentz to
not help Minnesota last night.

Speaker 1 (12:18):
That was painful to watch.

Speaker 5 (12:19):
I can't imagine what she was going through.

Speaker 1 (12:21):
So beat up.

Speaker 2 (12:22):
Yeah, just just not a really eventful game. But we've
had some good ones on Thursday, so you're due for
a stinker here there, all right, But you know we
got to do now. We got to go over the
big TV game of the week. Let's go.

Speaker 1 (12:34):
You should hear my fat up.

Speaker 5 (12:35):
I got an extra TV.

Speaker 2 (12:37):
The game game that I will have riches big TV
game of the week.

Speaker 3 (12:42):
It's richest big TV game of the week.

Speaker 1 (12:47):
Well, well, well, brung to you by TCL.

Speaker 2 (12:50):
We meet again, you silly Jabroni's so every week we
decide if you do what I do, which is roll
out a second TV. You got four games on one,
but there's that TV that gets full screen, the seventy
five or eighty five inch TV, the big one that
gets the game.

Speaker 1 (13:09):
Yeah, the game, because you got the other TV.

Speaker 2 (13:11):
Maybe you break out a couple of smaller TVs and
let me keep an eye on this one.

Speaker 1 (13:15):
I'll keep it on this one. But what gets the volume?
What gets the big screen?

Speaker 2 (13:18):
That's what we decide every Friday for you. Now, sometimes
there's not much to really choose from, Like I think
the early leagues when you have family over rich, like
your least important family member gets like the cot or
the couch, but oh, your parents would be We have
an air mattress you can put in the garage.

Speaker 6 (13:35):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (13:36):
Yeah, the person who like at least gets the air
mattress and you give him like a paper towel to
cover themselves.

Speaker 5 (13:40):
I'm not sleeping up in the loft that's where Fuller sleeps.

Speaker 1 (13:43):
I'm not gonna sleep on the height of bed with Fuller.
What's the bed?

Speaker 2 (13:46):
And like your parents or whoever jerk, you give them
the good accommodations. Like if you have a set of
eight plates but you have nine people over, who gets
the like the weird extra plate?

Speaker 1 (13:55):
Yeah that guy.

Speaker 2 (13:56):
So the best game gets the big TV. That's what
we're say the TC. Let's zip through the early games
because there's a lot of games with let's be honest,
very little significance right now because of you know, one
of the teams may stink or it's a lopsided like
Bengals are hosting the Jets. I mean Bengals are six
and a half point favorites, the Jets are zero to seven.

(14:16):
Unless you are a massochist and you want to just
see how bad the Jets can be. That that gets
a little you get a little look see maybe you
got a fantasy involvement in that game. But Jets Bengals
no Bears Ravens is interesting because if you've got Lamar
back in action, that that team is going to try
to see if they could pull up some magical happenings
where one in five could a one in five team

(14:38):
somehow hold on around starting. I know he's on the field,
but he's definitely starting questionable.

Speaker 11 (14:44):
He practiced fully today, so it's not a sure deal.
But the signs are pointing towards the possible me.

Speaker 2 (14:50):
Tuned in definitely to see what's doing there with that,
I would imagine dB the sentiment in Vegas is leaning
that way because it's seven and a half, which means
it's it's only seven and a half because there's the
sum and that they're going to try to give it
a go, right right, Yes, absolutely, And the Bears are
a good team, so I think that should be interesting
because a four and two Bears team that's really trying
to keep up in that division. I'm gonna I may

(15:12):
change my mind here. And I know, bro and what
about your forty nine ers? Texans aren't the Texans favorite
in that game? How and why the Texans are two
and a half point favorites? And I think because it's
at home. dB said it best the other day. If
you break down forty nine Ers offense, forty nine Ers defense,
Texans offense, Texans defense. Of those four, what is the strongest,
And you might say the Texans defense against the guy

(15:32):
like Mac Jones that doesn't have the mobility of a
Brock Purty where they may just close that pocket on
Mac Jones quicker.

Speaker 1 (15:38):
I feel like, what do is Vegas know the defense?

Speaker 2 (15:41):
There's a part in me that just being a Homer
is like, yeah, I might want to hit the money
line hard on the Niners. It's your big TV game
of the week, and I know you're leading forty nine
Ers anyway. I mean, I'm gonna lead Niners just because
I'm a Niners fan, but ample intrigue rich of and
I'm sorry to interrupt, but seriously, the intrigue of how are
the Texans favor yeah, and thinking that the forty nine

(16:03):
ers should win this game. I think there's a few
games that asks me want to tune in. There's a
few games to keep your eye on that I like, like,
for instance, Giants and these young dudes that are just
really bringing the fun against the Eagles in Philadelphia, and
we know the New York Philadelphia rivalries in battle, so
that's a game to keep an eye on early on.
So that doesn't get the big one, but I'll definitely
be watching that one. I'll definitely be watching Niners Texans

(16:26):
because I'm a Niners guy. I'll definitely be keeping my
eye on whether or not the Bills could finally get
it together against the Panthers, who have won three in
a row.

Speaker 1 (16:33):
Right, They're looking good.

Speaker 2 (16:35):
But I think the big TV game of the week,
and it doesn't go to the Browns Patriots. I really
do think the return of Lamar Jackson against Caleb Williams
objectively Cavino should be your big TV game of the week.

Speaker 1 (16:46):
I'm surprised. For me, I'll probably have the Niners on.

Speaker 2 (16:50):
But if I'm being real, keeping it real, I think
the game everyone should be watching is whether or not
the Bears could go on the road four and two
against a desperate yet Lamar Jackson and Ravens team that
really needs to win. Ravens are chopped. Yeah, five Bears,
what are they gonna do? Seem fire right now? The
Bears seem valid. You know they need they need to

(17:13):
go nine and two. The rest of the West end
that ain't happen nine and two. How Yeah, the Ravens
might be as we already said that, Ravens might be
as good sentiment Covino. Later games, Bucks and Saints. By
the way, I'm really surprised by the way that you
picked that game over Giants, Eagles or even the forty
nine Houston.

Speaker 1 (17:32):
I just I don't know the return of Lamar.

Speaker 2 (17:33):
We haven't really seen them, so I think it's it's
gonna be cool to see one of the most premier
electric players back in action. All right, all right, Later games,
so to stink Bucks and Saints Bill, Thanks Titans, Cults
Daniel Jones gonna be seven to one, which is wild
because I can't imagine the Titans winning. They're favored by
fourteen and a half. I think the game to watch

(17:54):
the completely not sure their record defines who they are.
The fact that the cow Danny g are three to
three and one. Isn't that just so perfect? Is aren't
in your mind? Don't you feel like the Cowboys are
just good? Like average three three and one? That to
me just makes sense at the Broncos. So Cowboys Broncos

(18:14):
gets the big TV later in the day, but all
eyes Sunday night, your primetime game is where everyone's gonna
be really pumped up. Aaron Rodgers playing against the Packers.
If he wins, he beats all thirty two teams in
the NFL. That alone, you could say revenge game. You
could say it's not a revenge game. You could say
the Packers are four to one and one looking to

(18:34):
be five to one in one, but the Steelers have
an opportunity to just keep you know, controlling the AFC North.
That's such a fun game. And right now Green Bay
is favored by two and a half in Pittsburgh. Wait,
hold on, if he beats his former team, the Green
Bay Packers, his old team. He's the first guy to
beat every team. Only guy, yeah, the only guy to
do that. Only guy in NFL history to be thirty

(18:56):
about watching it. I mean that's the Lake team anyway,
that gets the big TV. So they have it tcl's
big TV Games.

Speaker 1 (19:05):
What is of all the games out, what is the one?

Speaker 5 (19:06):
Is it really?

Speaker 1 (19:07):
Packers Stealers?

Speaker 5 (19:08):
Feel?

Speaker 2 (19:09):
Yeah, that's that's like, that's a game for sure. That's
definitely a great game. All right, so enjoy it. Get
ready and enjoy and watch on your TCL. That's Rich's
big TV Game of the week. And thanks again to TCL.
And now we got Brainwave. Got to get you ready
for that. So if you want it, you want to
win a prize, You want to win one of our
Turbo balls. Turbo you want to get your hands on
our Turbo balls are new and improved. Their football call

(19:33):
now at eight seven, seven ninety nine on Fox your
chance to win Bravewave. It's multiple choice and it's an
easy game to play and Danny g You will explain it.
He's the host. We do it next right here on
Fox Sports Radio. Now all your favorite NBA players are back.
Even seeing the league honestly, a couple of games in
it really is exciting. I feel like I feel like
by me going in with a low expectation, I've been

(19:54):

(21:59):
get right into it. Let's introduce our host to Brainwave,
Danny g.

Speaker 3 (22:05):
Do Coveno and Rice really share the same brain? Doth
Day Rich chatting, Channy.

Speaker 1 (22:10):
Ray persisting something Sidny Joe to measure you?

Speaker 4 (22:13):
Is there?

Speaker 3 (22:13):
Crew not far behind? We're one. Welcome to Brainwave. Try
to make sense of the brain. It's easy.

Speaker 4 (22:21):
We drop on sports, music and entertainment questions and if
you match with enough of these bosums, you win.

Speaker 3 (22:28):
I love that.

Speaker 11 (22:29):
On the count of three, reveal Brainwave one, two, three.

Speaker 1 (22:35):
It pays to match your brain.

Speaker 8 (22:39):
All right, Happy Friday, Daniel Gradio. The questions in this
game are all subjective. You just need to try and
match the brain of CNR and the crew are. We're
gonna go to the studio lines right now. Get our contestant,
then I'll explain the game. Ray is in Tennessee. He
was first through Ray.

Speaker 5 (23:01):
What up? Ray? What do you do for a living
there in Tennessee?

Speaker 6 (23:03):
I'm a supervisor for a conveyor Death and Company here
and Jack nice.

Speaker 1 (23:09):
Man, very cool? What did you do.

Speaker 8 (23:11):
Ray, Here's how the game works. I have five rounds
ready to go. Our contestant, Ray needs to win two
of them to be the champ and walk away with
a CNR. In our football, I'm going to ask a sports,
music or entertainment question and then give three debatable answers
to choose from the six of us in studio. Are
going to write down our answers on dry erase boards
for the YouTube channel and Ray, that's going to give
you time to get your answer ready. On the count

(23:31):
of three, the caller shouts out his answer, and then
we go around the studio to reveal ours. All Right, guys,
our contestant must match four of us to win the round.
So got a bat six sixty seven or no matter
the caller's answer, If all six of us in studio
happen to match Ray, you automatically win that round.

Speaker 1 (23:46):
All right, here we go go.

Speaker 8 (23:48):
Everybody ready with your dry erase boards. Yeah, go round one.
Let's start with music this week. Which of these artists
had the greatest one hit wonder.

Speaker 5 (23:58):
Song of the nineties.

Speaker 1 (24:00):
Paul, that's a good one.

Speaker 8 (24:01):
Right, said Fred with I'm Too Sexy Sexy. Girardo with
Rico Suave or lostell Rio with Macarno.

Speaker 5 (24:12):
Yo, that's a good one, man, but they all charted around.

Speaker 1 (24:16):
It's so difficult.

Speaker 8 (24:18):
All right, everybody's right in there, answers down. I got
it locked in, everybody locked in, locked in? Okay, Ray,
on the count of three, we need your answer, one, two.

Speaker 3 (24:32):
Three, Rico Sao.

Speaker 8 (24:35):
He says Gerardo. We're gonna start with Steve Covino.

Speaker 2 (24:38):
Well it's ten o'clock and up two hours late. But
you can't consistent. Then I meet your parents out. They're
gonna love my parents, not only Rico Swami, but Taco
Grande by Weird now one of my favorites.

Speaker 5 (24:51):
All right, Rich Davis, I.

Speaker 1 (24:53):
Couldn't believe it.

Speaker 2 (24:54):
I thought the e was definitely Macarena.

Speaker 1 (25:01):
Dan, what Rich figures you'd say? Would sorry?

Speaker 11 (25:05):
I like mesh so, I said, right, said Fred, it's
a good one.

Speaker 5 (25:11):
That is good, but not Tennessee's answer.

Speaker 13 (25:14):
All right, spotty, uh I locked in the Mockerna as well.
That was that was that had a choke called on
nineteen ninety five pop culture.

Speaker 8 (25:21):
Well, Ray has to tell you, yeah, mathematically is.

Speaker 5 (25:25):
Out of it. Yeah, I also said Mocherina.

Speaker 8 (25:27):
He would have lost it, I said, though I also
said because it cut out a lane for Spanglish nip
hop songs.

Speaker 9 (25:34):
Gernardo Danny thought that was a great question. Though we
had like we had George W. Bush doing the macharina
like that was like, don't forget national.

Speaker 13 (25:43):
I am in the Guinness Book of World Records because
I was part of the largest crowd to do the
mockarinat Yankee Stadium in nineteen ninety six to my Wikipedia.
All right, let's go to a round two. We're going
to get to sports now, all right. Who had the
more epic walk off home run in the World World Series?
Kirby Pucket Game six, nineteen ninety one, David Freeze Game six,

(26:05):
twenty eleven, or Freddie Freeman Game one, twenty twenty four.
All right, everybody's writing down there, it's yeah, that's a
tough one.

Speaker 1 (26:15):
All right. So who had the more epic.

Speaker 5 (26:17):
More epic walk off home run in the World Series?

Speaker 1 (26:20):
Kirby Pucket, David Freeze? Where Freddy?

Speaker 8 (26:26):
A lot of websites list him as one, two, three.
I want to see what you think, all right, Ray,
I think we're all locked in on the count of three.
We need your answer. One, two, three, Fddy Freeman, Freddy Freeman.
He says, all right, we're going to go in reverse
order this time. Samuel L. Johnson Freddy Freeman. One. You

(26:49):
know I'm not going to be a homer here. I'll
forever remember him spiking his helmet through his legs before
he gets to home plate freeze.

Speaker 5 (26:58):
Wow. All right to Spotty, I actually went with Freddy
as well.

Speaker 13 (27:04):
I feel like a care It was like a double
doozy because it's sort of encapsulated.

Speaker 5 (27:08):
Kirby as well. All right to Dan.

Speaker 11 (27:09):
Byer, I said, Kirby Pucket, we'll see you tomorrow night.

Speaker 5 (27:13):
The godfather, the godfather of the walk off.

Speaker 2 (27:16):
All right, Rich, Now, if you asked me what call,
I would might have said, we will see you tomorrow night,
or when his son Joe Buck said, I will.

Speaker 1 (27:24):
We will see you tomorrow night.

Speaker 2 (27:25):
But I think last year Freddie Baby prisoner of the
moment or not, but the whole, the whole vibe and.

Speaker 1 (27:34):
Freddie meet Gibby, I love l A kicks in.

Speaker 9 (27:36):
So yeah, So Covino's answer will decide whether he gets
the point or not. Right, yeah, because we have three,
we need four out of six.

Speaker 2 (27:44):
It haunts me till this day, and I'm pretty sure
it was give me meat, Freddy. I think that's what
he says. Did I say, Freddie, give me Freddy? And
I say that only because it made me want to vomit? Oh,
because it was It was such a big moment. Off
to Nest Cortez, Freddy Freeman. But it gets you the
win too, man.

Speaker 8 (28:04):
All right, Ray, you're halfway to a CNR turbo football.
Let's go to round three entertainment. Okay, which of these
movies would draw the largest US box office numbers if
it hit all theaters for a month long retro showing?

Speaker 1 (28:18):
Oh that's a retro showing for a month.

Speaker 5 (28:20):
Okay, Ferris Bueller's Day Off?

Speaker 8 (28:22):
Oh, Airplane or Major League?

Speaker 3 (28:27):
Oh?

Speaker 5 (28:28):
I got it.

Speaker 8 (28:29):
They're popcorn ratings all around the same, by the way.

Speaker 1 (28:33):
Oh really okay, yeah, got it.

Speaker 8 (28:37):
I'm locked in, everybody longed, Yeah, I'm locked in. I'm
locked in. Okay, and we're gonna start with Coveno on
this one. Right after we get Ray's answer on the
count of three, one, two, three, Sorry, major League, he said, Okay, Coveno, say, Ferris,

(28:58):
he's a righteous dude.

Speaker 2 (29:00):
One strike, all right, Rich, Sorry, wait, I think I
got I wrote Walker Bueller.

Speaker 1 (29:06):
Is that.

Speaker 2 (29:08):
Ferris Bueller Major League is my favorite? But I think
this would do better mass appeal.

Speaker 9 (29:13):
Okay, but remember we're two for two. So even if
he right, yeah, we all have the same answer. He
gets the point. Yeah that's true.

Speaker 5 (29:21):
dB.

Speaker 11 (29:21):
So I never forget you guys did a movie thing
one time, and I'm not a movie guy. Hey, I
drafted Ferris Bueller and you guys would have killed me.

Speaker 5 (29:28):
You'll awful.

Speaker 1 (29:31):
I remember that that was your favorite movie.

Speaker 11 (29:34):
Yes, So then I thought to myself, you know what,
we're trying to give away a prize here. So while
I would probably say Ferris Bueller, what's our contestant going
to think?

Speaker 5 (29:43):
I said major League?

Speaker 1 (29:47):
Now you say major League, you can't win.

Speaker 5 (29:50):
Now, let's see what you had.

Speaker 13 (29:52):
I mean, I went with Bueler as well.

Speaker 9 (29:56):
I also Weelerler Dan.

Speaker 8 (30:02):
The one guy who champions the movie I was, but
I matched our contestants. Oh he's got to match you though, Yes,
I I think next time, just go with what you you.
I respect that he was trying to set you up
for a win. There, Ray, all right, let's go to
the next category. We'll go back to Sports. Which of

(30:23):
these athletes would create the biggest buzz if interviewed by
CNR on the air, Lebron James, Travis Kelcey or Tiger Woods.

Speaker 1 (30:34):
Come on, wow, that's one.

Speaker 8 (30:39):
All right, everybody locked, locked in, Okay, locked Ray on
the count of three, needs your answer, one, two, three,
he says. Kelsey, alright, okay, go in reverse order this time.

Speaker 9 (30:52):
Iowa, Sam, I said, Tiger Woods.

Speaker 6 (30:57):
What.

Speaker 3 (31:00):
Look at it?

Speaker 8 (31:01):
The other guys are kind of saturated, oversaturated him.

Speaker 3 (31:04):
So I also said Tiger Woods.

Speaker 5 (31:06):
Do I think that?

Speaker 8 (31:07):
Yeah, because we hear the other guys all the time
in the media.

Speaker 13 (31:10):
Okay, all right, Spotty, I went with number six, I
mean eighty seven. Travis Kelcey. Come on, he's got to
know your audience, dB, dB.

Speaker 1 (31:20):
We know you're a big golf guy.

Speaker 11 (31:22):
I am, and that's why I went Travis Kelcey. Tiger
wouldn't say anything.

Speaker 1 (31:28):
Travis Kelcey. We've interviewed him before. We do it again.

Speaker 13 (31:35):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (31:36):
Yeah, if you if you talk about generating buzz not
only with football fans, but the Swifties. Every time we
post a video and it's Travis Kelsey related, because of
the yeah, it gets more traction in anything I know.

Speaker 8 (31:48):
But he's on his own podcast though, and I feel
like that's where he breaks his own news.

Speaker 1 (31:54):
So you win.

Speaker 9 (31:54):
So me and Danny said Tiger. Everyone else said Travis Kelcey,
and Ray said Travis Kelsey.

Speaker 1 (31:59):
He's a winner, that's right.

Speaker 5 (32:02):
Ray.

Speaker 8 (32:02):
Congratulations, we're going to add you to our mailing list
for a CEE and on her football when the shipment
comes in.

Speaker 5 (32:07):
And thank you for playing the game today.

Speaker 2 (32:09):
Thanks Bud, Hey, thank you man. Have a good weekend, Ray,
Dany G. They're all great questions with great answers. That's
what makes it difficult to see if we're all on
the same brainway. Big takeaway is that Dann Bayer should
have stuck by his gut with Parrespuela.

Speaker 1 (32:25):
And who knew that? You, Danny G.

Speaker 2 (32:26):
If you don't loved Girardo Rico suavey, I mean, Marcarene
is like the corniest song that ever was, but he is.
But it was so big, big, it's so huge. What
does the Rico swabey in a wedding?

Speaker 1 (32:40):
I'm a big Rico swabe guy.

Speaker 5 (32:42):
I know.

Speaker 1 (32:42):
Well, let's go to dB suave Rico.

Speaker 11 (32:45):
What threw me off is I should have said Freeman
on the last question, I go, I can't think for me.
I got to think for our contestants. So that's why
I went the other way, and we matched the last two,
by the way, and I'm glad that they went on
with the prize. All right, we'll see who comes home
with the prize of a World Series title. Dodgers and
Blue Jays start their Best to Seven Fall Classic tonight

(33:06):
in Toronto. Coverage getting underway at the top of the
hour on Fox. It's Blake's now against Treya Savage Boba
Schett batting forth and playing second base for Toronto. He's
been out since early September because of a PCL strain
in his left knee, but he will play tonight for
the Jays. The NFL find the New York Giants two
hundred thousand dollars for violating the league's concussion protocol in

(33:27):
their Week six matchup with the Eagles. I love the
background noise. Yeah, if someone to shut off their mic,
you know, like, I don't know what the deal is.
What's the deal?

Speaker 1 (33:38):
What do ya dB? After your update?

Speaker 9 (33:41):
If are you, I'd go ahead here just arguing about
Danny's question.

Speaker 1 (33:44):
The spotleft is Michael, Would it be okay if I
just screamed six to seven behind them all? You did
the update six six except the edit.

Speaker 11 (33:56):
The NFL find the Giants two hundred thousand dollars, coach
Brian Dabole one hundred and fifty thousand, and Giants running
back Cam Scattaboo fifteen grand for violating the league's concussion
protocol when Jackson Dart suffered his concussion on that Thursday
night game against the Eagles a couple of weeks ago.
Giants and Eagles play again this weekend. No AJ Brown
for Philadelphia. And how about some quarterbacking news. Aaron Glenn

(34:19):
of the Jets wouldn't tell us who's going to start
against the Bengals, only to say Garrett Wilson and Sauce
Gardner wouldn't play in that contest in Cincinnati. Brock Purty
out for the Niners. Mac Jones starts against the Texans
for San Francisco. Bryce Young doubtful for the Panthers, so
Andy Dalton likely to get the start against Buffalo, and
Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson a full participant in practice. He

(34:40):
was limited the first two days, but a full participant today,
Ravens have him as questionable to face the Bears coming
up on Sunday. Guys back Teez sick.

Speaker 1 (34:51):
Hey Ze Nick.

Speaker 5 (34:53):
Sorry, we know this.

Speaker 2 (34:55):
We know rock Perty's got the turf toe thing. You know,
I thought more about this. That's not so like in
a week he's just gonna be all better, like even
when he returns. Isn't that gonna like sort of annoyingly linger.

Speaker 11 (35:05):
Yeah, I think it's a six to seven week injury.
So yeah, that's what I think. Yes, we make fun
of these kids. We can't stop her.

Speaker 2 (35:13):
Listen, we got more CNR and next we're gonna go
over weekend hobnob and what to watch other than the
World Series, other than college and NFL football.

Speaker 1 (35:19):
We do that next right here on Conveno Rich.

Speaker 2 (35:26):
CNR on FSR, Covino and Rich, the show that's sweeping
the nation to show that not enough people know about
but we think we're the best spread the word. Yeah,

the Week. And when we all agree, it's back. We
all agree. It's wemby wen Ben Yama.

Speaker 2 (36:07):
I mean only because the dominating performance in his first game,
and when you watch that highlight reel, it's like, yo,
this might be a special season. It was insane in
video game numbers. We were all geeking out on that.
He's your Express Pro Pro of the week. Forty points,
he had fifteen rebounds, I believe.

Speaker 1 (36:25):
Let me double check out.

Speaker 2 (36:26):
Fifteen rebounds, one assist, but still forty dominant points.

Speaker 5 (36:30):
And three swats three blocks.

Speaker 2 (36:32):
Over what's supposed to be a pretty great Dallas Mavericks team.
He made Anthony Davis look week, made Flag look week,
Wembin Yama looking like the man at seven foot five.
He's our Express pros Pro of the Week. And now
it's time we do this every Friday. It's weekend.

Speaker 1 (36:50):

brings us weekend hob No, all right.

Speaker 1 (37:05):
I'll kick it off and I'll make it snappy.

Speaker 2 (37:07):
Of course, you got lots of great baseball Game one,
you got your NFL. But there's a fight this weekend.
Don't let it go into the radar. I know you
got Halloween parties and trips to Spirit Halloween. But UFC
three twenty one, tom aspinall and gone. That's a good one.
And there's a co main event women's straweight fight Genderoba

(37:30):
and Dern.

Speaker 1 (37:31):
Look out for that. So UFC three twenty one if
we check that out, I've never heard of that.

Speaker 2 (37:35):
Friday strawwaight strawweight women's strawweights a thing in the Netflix. Yeah,
you got the Perfect Neighbor. I brought it up a
few times. It was number one throughout the week for
a reason.

Speaker 1 (37:48):
It's heart wrenching.

Speaker 2 (37:50):
It's all shot in police footage, police cam, and it's
about this neighborhood dilemma.

Speaker 1 (37:56):
It's really the worst neighbor ever.

Speaker 2 (37:59):
And you can see the story unfold, the perfect neighbor,
big big bar, like I said, heartbreaking on Netflix. And
by the way, strow eight one oh six to one fifteen,
like we'll tell you like you know, tiny women and
is there a dude stroweight division? I would think that's
a women's right it stroweight And of course gotta promote
what I think is one of the best shows as

(38:19):
far as podcast that you could watch over promised with
Cavino and rich are podcast Episode one fourteen debuted yesterday
because it's back to the Future week. We went into
the future and we predicted who we think the current
goats are going to be. Who the goats of the
future are the faces of all sports. So we talked
that Halloween candy and richest picks on over promised right

(38:41):
on our YouTube page. Covino and rich FSR. Well, you
know what, you and I have no overlap, so I
got plenty of mention to you guys. Season two of
Nobody Wants This, I Know Spot was probably gonna mention
that spot you like season one right with Chrystal Adam
Brody's Heart Heart that you could watch with the wifey
of the girlfriend Allay by yourself Diantha was really good
and it's filmed in our neighborhood. Could you know so

(39:03):
if you look around like all the places they go
or right near where you would spot live in Sherman Ups.
Nobody wants this season two, Love is Blind. If you
have not watched the wedding episode, Danny, you were right.
It's cringy and weird, and I don't want to give
anything away, but I can't imagine why you dress up
and do all.

Speaker 5 (39:18):
That just to be like, no, it is a beautiful
train wreck. Let's say that.

Speaker 1 (39:23):
Yeah, I enjoyed it. This would interest you, Kumio.

Speaker 2 (39:26):
Mob War Philadelphia Versus the Mafia, a docuseries about the
Mob and Philly just got released on Netflix. Is Chuncy
Phillips And this document is not this one Chad Powers
on Hulu.

Speaker 1 (39:37):
I've been talking about that.

Speaker 2 (39:39):
If you're watching something with the kids, you know there's
been thirty six Simpson's Treehouse of Horrors, thirty six of them,
so you could go backtrack those or is it cake
the Halloween edition. My kids get such a kick out
of that stupid show. And a documentary I started last night.
I'm gonna watch the rest of night. So it dozed off.
Not because it was boring, I was just tired. Who

(40:00):
killed the Montreal expos? Yeah that looks good, dude, It
was really good the beginning. I watched and Hey, Naked Gun.
If you missed it in the theater. That's available now streaming.
And I know what you did last summer. The new
one from twenty twenty five would Freddy Print' junior All
growing up.

Speaker 1 (40:16):
That's out now as well.

Speaker 8 (40:17):
Man Game one of the World Series just about an
hour away, Go Dodgers Saturday tomorrow. Another hopefully classic game

twenty LSU Danny G.

Speaker 1 (40:44):
I wish matchup Dodgers, good luck.

Speaker 2 (40:47):
But I'm also very happy for Donnie baseball don Manningley
with his first World Series appearance as a coach. So
it's going to be exciting. We'll be talking about it
come Monday. Any anything else Sam got earlier this week?
I watched this documentary in a peacock called Downey wrote.

Speaker 9 (41:00):
That is about Jim Downey, who was SNL's main writer
for thirty two years. It is so good, so much
good footage, amazing interviews, it's one hour and six minutes.

Speaker 5 (41:09):
Check out.

Speaker 13 (41:09):
Downey wrote that on Peacock Perfect Spotty any additions. That
Springsteen movie comes out in theaters. If you're interested in

pretty good.

Speaker 1 (41:18):

Speaker 5 (41:22):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (41:22):
