Speaker 1 (01:07):
Easier said than done.
Speaker 2 (01:08):

Good luck.

Speaker 3 (01:27):
Oh and if you win your parlay, Rich has to
find your mailing address and send you a check.
Speaker 1 (01:32):
Oh, we'd legally allowed to do that. Under no way
check that. By the way.
Speaker 2 (01:36):
I know Isaac's busy, but he brought up that Zion
story about how he has taken full responsibility for being
late to a practice.
Speaker 1 (01:43):
I'm sorry late to the flight for the game.
Speaker 2 (01:46):
I saw some dude on social media, and I believe
this is a real story. So if it's not, you
can make fun of me and say I got, I
got got. You see the guy that got caught in
the self driving waymo you know, not Uber, those self
drive wavebout cars. He said he was circling the same
little area and he and the car wouldn't stop, and
he couldn't get out, and he almost missed his flight
(02:07):
because he was stuck in a self driving car, and
I got to ask, I'm not there yet, are you?
Are you getting in a self driving car?
Speaker 1 (02:15):
Hell?
Speaker 4 (02:15):
No?
Speaker 1 (02:16):
And by the way, is that you make us old school? Yeah?
Speaker 2 (02:19):
I mean I also thought uber was wild the first
time I thought of the concept, and then I realized, well,
we're getting strange, strange taxi driver's cars. What's the difference.
Speaker 1 (02:29):
But it felt like.
Speaker 2 (02:29):
Taxi drivers were like official. I thought they were professionals
in you know, when you're like your uber's here, and
it was like some kid, You're like, you're my driver.
But then again then he got used to it, right.
But I can't tell you whether or not this video's fake.
I haven't seen it yet, but it sounds like a possibility.
We saw this for the first time when we did
our broadcast at the Graduate Hotel in Tempe, Arizona. We
(02:52):
were waiting out front with listeners to go have a
drink at another bar, and while we were waiting to
cross an intersection to the hotel to the.
Speaker 1 (03:00):
Graduate Hotel, I'm like, is there a driver in that car?
Speaker 2 (03:03):
Two like college kids got in the back of it
and they just took off, and I felt like an
old guy. I'm like, I would never do that, and
I wonder is there gonna come a time in a
world of AI and robots and self driving everything?
Speaker 1 (03:16):
Danny G you getting a self driving car? Ia? Sam?
Are you hopping in one of these bad boys?
Speaker 3 (03:20):
I still trust a teenage driver over a robotic eyeball.
I would rather support a hard working uber driver. That's
what I'm saying too.
Speaker 2 (03:30):
Just seems for the people that hate small talk, they
might be like, get me the self driving car, no chat.
Speaker 3 (03:38):
There's a lot of times though, too, where you can
just give off the vibe that I'm not having a conversation,
like are.
Speaker 2 (03:44):
There's always cameras on in those vehicles? Because you think
there's gonna be a lot of hanky panky going on
rich with young people taking these rides around town. Yes,
and they're definitely gonna call it hanky panky?
Speaker 1 (03:58):
Do you to call it off? Foxs? The dirty game?
Why don't you tell me what whoopee reference? Were you
gonna make?
Speaker 5 (04:04):
Whoop?
Speaker 2 (04:04):
That's a good one too, you know that's a really
good question. Yeah, because I was thinking taxi cab confessions.
I know you're also that weird, right, I know you're
also thinking of when you're a younger person. Oh yeah,
you're just looking for places because when you were like
a when you were in high school or college on
the East Coast. Right, so, after a late night in
New York City, you'd hop in a cab and you'd
(04:26):
be with somebody and you make out in the backseat
of a cab.
Speaker 6 (04:29):
Right.
Speaker 2 (04:29):
I'm not saying you get down like James Brown, but
you did get freaky naky in the back of a cab.
I think it's safe to say if you lived in
a major city. So my point is, if you're in
a self driving vehicle and no one's there, you're more
likely to go further.
Speaker 1 (04:48):
And you're the one that says I have a dirty mind. Please, sir,
please knock off the hanky panky.
Speaker 5 (04:54):
I detect hands eying pill will be no hanky panky
in my vehicle. There's a strict no whoopie rule. Read
the sign no hanky peggy. We are sentient beings. Actually,
now we can detect if you are doing handky peking.
I would like it.
Speaker 4 (05:12):
It's sir, let me see your hands. You're looking around like, whoa, wow,
this camera's in this thing. This technology is amazing. But
I I just you ain't kidding.
Speaker 2 (05:20):
I think everyone at one point or another, I'm not
heading in that car, has you know, made out or
been a little touchy feely in a cab on a
late you know, on a late night drunken adventure, you know,
when you're a younger man. If it's a self driving car,
that is a great question. Or is a younger generation
of people gonna use this as a well, we can't
really find anywhere to hook up, We'll just drive around town.
(05:42):
There has to be some sort of like cameras are
on you at all times sort of deal.
Speaker 1 (05:46):
Where is this already a category on smut sites?
Speaker 4 (05:49):
Yeah right, well, yeah, if you vandalize the car, if
you throw up in the car, like, they have to
be able to keep tabs on all that stuff and
who who just send the bill for?
Speaker 2 (05:57):
But to answer is this question as of now, I'm
not saying I won't change my mind. Yeah, I'm the
guy that's not comfortable with that.
Speaker 1 (06:05):
Now, you know.
Speaker 2 (06:06):
Yesterday yesterday on our old school throwback, there's a conversation
we talked about how was the anniversary of the iPhone
and how technology has come a long way, and we
talked about all the features on a car like I was, Sam,
you nailed it with the blind spot little lights and
the blind spot connect the.
Speaker 1 (06:23):
Cameras, backup cameras, game changer.
Speaker 2 (06:25):
I have put the car when I've gone on road
trips with the family. If you're in Texas and there
is a straight road with no curves and the speed
limits eighty five and there's nothing inside like you know,
tumbleweed and going down the side of the road, I've
put it on cruise control and that lane assist and
if you veer a little bit, it pulls you back
in your lane. The technology is great. I think I
(06:48):
agree with Cavino and you and saying that I'm not
ready to get in a self driving.
Speaker 1 (06:53):
Car, just not ready yet. It's running.
Speaker 4 (06:56):
Some of these are like they're testing the amount and
they're running people over who are like jay walking or
running across the street, And I feel like a driver
is still better at identifying that.
Speaker 1 (07:04):
But you know what I was saying, I'd rather have
air all the time. What would you rather do?
Speaker 7 (07:08):
Though?
Speaker 2 (07:08):
Here there's a moral question with self driving cars. Let's
say you're in a self driving car, I was saying,
and the car is headed towards a human, but to
veer away from hitting the human. You're gonna like be
veered off a cliff. Do they kill the person or
do they veer off the cliff? No, I know you
can't human to make that correct. Well human, Yeah, when
(07:31):
I was.
Speaker 4 (07:31):
In an accident once where oh no, let's make human decisions.
Someone was trying to avoid someone else and then so
they rammed into me, and it's like, I guess what
do you do there?
Speaker 1 (07:39):
Stay in your lane? You try to stay in your lane?
Speaker 2 (07:41):
Oh on, I have a question Zion I brought up
because I was like Zion. My dumb thought was what
if Zion was like, No, No, I was laid for
the flight because I got caught in a self driving car.
Because that I saw a guy said that he was
late for his flight because he got stuck in a
self driving car, which.
Speaker 1 (07:57):
Is a great excuse nowadays, I don't think it would
have mattered.
Speaker 3 (08:00):
So rich Ilo told me off the air that this
is not the first time Zion has been late, which
is why.
Speaker 2 (08:06):
Yeah, he got the suspension. Yeah, late, it's not a
good look as we all get older. I don't know
about you. Late used to be like a fashionable thing.
Now if you're like late for dinner late for an appointment.
You're really just rude and disrespecting other people's time. Speaking
of we're almost running late for we got five of us,
so let's do it.
Speaker 1 (08:22):
We got five on it. We did this last year.
I say, let's do it again.
Speaker 3 (08:28):
Yeah, we're gonna pick every NFL playoff game this postseason.
All right, Rich, You're gonna give us the point spreads
and we're all gonna pick each game, and you're gonna
compile the picks here, and we have to hit a
parlay six for six to actually earn any money.
Speaker 1 (08:45):
Six for six.
Speaker 2 (08:47):
Good luck. Maybe someone in the room will hit it.
We're gonna use point spreads, not just money line winners.
But before we do this, I gotta do one thing
as a Mets fan as I hear this song, no
betting number five David Right.
Speaker 1 (09:01):
This is walk ups on fifteen years.
Speaker 3 (09:03):
If you're listening in the future to the podcast version
of this live show, you're missing one of the greatest
hip hop beats of all time, the Loonies. I got
five on it playing behind us.
Speaker 1 (09:13):
It really is so good. Yeah, way ahead of their
time with this beat.
Speaker 2 (09:17):
I remember one time Cavino telling me David Wright's not
cool enough to use that song.
Speaker 1 (09:21):
I like him. I like him. We got on it,
all right, David right, Craig right.
Speaker 3 (09:26):
So here's the pickers, and uh, I know, Covino, you
love that show, Rich Davis right there, Spotty boy, just
watch Mexican Pickers. It's way better, of course, Iowa, Samuel
right there. I'm going to make my picks, and then
we'll include one listener each week. Hunter in Maine is
going to be our victim. And you're right, Rich. We
can't mail any money to the listener, just for fun,
(09:48):
but it's for fun, and we can mail them a
prize package if they hit the boy talking. Okay, Hunter
and men, you ready to make some wild card picks?
Speaker 8 (09:57):
Absolutely, let's go.
Speaker 4 (10:00):
Someone hit a six for six parlay and like I said,
five bucks.
Speaker 2 (10:05):
I'll give you the calculations when we're done. What a
five dollars parlay? Nice would hit us? Let's do this,
Covino on Rich DraftKings Sportsbook. All right, Chargers Texans in Houston,
Chargers by three?
Speaker 1 (10:22):
What do you guys think? Let's start with Cobe Chargers
by three. I'm going with that.
Speaker 2 (10:30):
I'm going Chargers, Chargers, Cavino, I think this is the
year the Chargers getting next level. I think we've talked
about who's going to be that fourth team in the AFC,
because I think we feel like, you know, Kansas City, Buffalo, Baltimore,
who's that fourth team? Jim Harbra takes it to the
next level. So I'm going Charges as well. I mean,
we just had a whole discussion about coaching and making
(10:52):
the difference culture.
Speaker 1 (10:53):
Danny, g what you got, brother, Vegas knows what they're doing.
Speaker 3 (10:56):
I think the Texans went on a last second field goal,
but they only in by two.
Speaker 2 (11:02):
Texans are underdog. Sell Oh, so then you're taking Texans
straight up. Then then I would take them straight up
and you're getting three. Okay, Yeah, give me give me
the three.
Speaker 4 (11:11):
By Texans for Danny Ioa, Samuel. Do I think the
Chargers will go all the way and whin the Super Bowl?
Speaker 6 (11:17):
No?
Speaker 4 (11:17):
But can they beat a what I think to be
a slumping Texas team by my field goal?
Speaker 1 (11:22):
Give me go Chargers, Go go Chargers. And before we
get the spot, let's go to Hunter. First, Hunter, what
do you think? Man?
Speaker 8 (11:30):
Thanks, I'm going with Harbaugh, Herbert and my guy mcconkeye,
and I'm going with the Chargers.
Speaker 2 (11:35):
Maconkie all day, All right, Chargers, Danny, g's the lone Texan.
Speaker 9 (11:38):
What do you think, spotty boy? I love this headline.
Chargers will destroy Texans. So I'm gonna ride with that.
I'm gonna pick the charger, right, Chargers, Danny. You guys
are all sleeping on C. J.
Speaker 1 (11:49):
Stroud.
Speaker 3 (11:49):
It took a little bit of a step back this season,
but I jinxed him by picking him to go to
the super Bowl this year after a big time me at.
Speaker 1 (11:55):
The super Bowl. See why would you? Why would you? Guy?
Just to prove that I'm not Tom Petty.
Speaker 2 (12:00):
And by the way, before you get into the next game,
rich are you forgiving him? You ever look at McConkie
and feel really old because he looks like he's about
sixteen years old? Like, I never really feel that way,
but when I saw that, dude, I'm like that.
Speaker 1 (12:15):
No, that's a whole separate conversation.
Speaker 2 (12:17):
But if you want to look at guys that make
you feel like you're old as hell, look up when
you get a chance. Google image the Mets, Brett Batty. Yeah,
Patty looks like he's twelve. You know, when I saw
Maconkai made me feel that way, and I rarely feel
that way because in our minds as fans, you know,
we still feel like not that old lot of us,
right Drake may to me feels like a guy that
(12:39):
like the age of someone your daughter would.
Speaker 1 (12:41):
Bring home like that. It's my boyfriend, It's crazy, dude.
Speaker 2 (12:45):
Next game, this is an interesting one because I think
we all know who's gonna win. But do we think
the Ravens cover the nine and a half Ravens hosting
the Steelers Division battle Ravens by nine and a half.
Of course, Lamar Jackson could be the MVP again, he's
got nine and a half King Henry now with him.
But if you remember this year, they didn't, you know,
(13:06):
they didn't handle the Steelers in both games. So mostly,
what do you think I am going? You know, yeah,
I'm going Baltimore with nine and a half. I just
think they blow it out. I think there's a huge
The reason to spread so high is because you know
they're capable of it, and I think they're going.
Speaker 1 (13:20):
To surpass that by a lot. Uh Danny G What
do you got, man?
Speaker 3 (13:23):
I feel like that number is just a little too big, right,
Ravens by a touchdown so.
Speaker 1 (13:28):
I think it's gonna be a blowout. Dude.
Speaker 2 (13:29):
Yeah, I'm let's say Ravens by seven. So Steelers, all right,
Danny g going Steelers. And by the way, earlier this year,
Steelers beat the Ravens eighteen sixteen. I know that game
wasn't Pittsburgh, but it's a divisional battle, Spotty bull, let's
go to you.
Speaker 9 (13:44):
Yeah, you know, I agree with Danny on that one.
Like usually whenever I pick games, I don't pick huge spreads,
like I try and avoid those games.
Speaker 2 (13:50):
You like it, you like a huge like Italian spread though, right,
like a charcoter spread Football Sunday charcooterie.
Speaker 1 (13:58):
Because like I do agree that Baltimore is going the distance.
I think I'm gonna go with the Steelers on this one.
I really yeah. I don't.
Speaker 2 (14:05):
I don't want to piggyback Cavino for the second one.
But I think that the Steelers have stumbled down the
stretch and the Ravens are coming into their own. I
think this is a this could be a twenty point differential.
I like, I like Ravens blowing them out.
Speaker 1 (14:17):
To me, they've been exposed. I think that's the game.
Speaker 2 (14:19):
I think this is the game. Then in the third cord,
are you like, all right, honey, let's go to dinner.
Speaker 4 (14:22):
I really don't, I was Sam, Yeah, I'm thinking that
the Ravens win this game something like twenty four to
ten or a twenty four to thirteen, twenty one to
ten something that, so they would cover that nine and
a half.
Speaker 1 (14:33):
Give me the Ravens to cover that.
Speaker 7 (14:34):
Okay?
Speaker 1 (14:34):
Cool and Hunter round it out, bro.
Speaker 8 (14:37):
I don't think Zay Flowers being out is gonna stop
Lamar Jackson. I think he's gonna throw to a bunch
of other people, and he's got Derreck Henry behind him.
So I'm gonna go to Baltimore.
Speaker 1 (14:45):
You know what. I love that Hunter comes with like reasons.
He's like a broadcast. I appreciate it. Hunt hunters his research.
Speaker 2 (14:51):
Right, h Next game, final AFC game of the Super
Wild Cord Weekend, Broncos at the Mills, favored by eight
and a half. We were just praising Sean Payton, but
could he keep it close? Could he upset the Bills?
Or is this Josh Allen's year? Danny g Let's start
with you this.
Speaker 1 (15:09):
Time, all right.
Speaker 3 (15:10):
The Broncos defense, I think is gonna keep it closer
than that point spread.
Speaker 1 (15:15):
They lead the league in sacks.
Speaker 3 (15:18):
You watch any Broncos game, almost all Bronco games this
past season, You're like, you're blown away by that defense.
And if bo Nicks can just play a steady game, plus,
the Broncos will keep it a little closer than that.
Speaker 9 (15:31):
So I'll go Denver, Spotacus Uh, I guess I have
more faith in Josh Allen than Lamar Jackson because I'm
gonna pick the Bills on this one, blowing out.
Speaker 1 (15:39):
What about you? Hunter?
Speaker 8 (15:41):
Yeah, I'm gonna go Buffalo too. I don't think if
Alan's gonna choke in the playoff, he's gonna let it
happen to bone Cove.
Speaker 1 (15:48):
What's the spread again?
Speaker 2 (15:49):
Eating a half bills at home? People jumping through fiery tables.
Is there a weather updates?
Speaker 1 (15:54):
Spot? Real quick?
Speaker 2 (15:54):
Can you look what the weather is gonna be like
in Buffalo, New York on Sunday morning. I think this
is the toughest one that we've had at debate so far.
I agree the defense is gonna step up for Denver,
but I think that these are the games that are
going to separate, you know, the championship teams, And I
think Buffalo is that caliber.
Speaker 1 (16:12):
I think they're gonna cover it. Yeah.
Speaker 9 (16:14):
We have a high of thirty three, low of twenty nine, cloudy,
no chance of precipitation, twenty four percent, with wins out
of the southwest at nine miles pack.
Speaker 1 (16:21):
That's warm for Buffalo twenty four percent.
Speaker 2 (16:26):
Two cult to jump through tables in the parking lot
or just that's only for them out there.
Speaker 1 (16:30):
Perfect Sunday will be great.
Speaker 9 (16:31):
There's some showers on Saturday morning, showers on Monday morning,
but not on Sunday.
Speaker 1 (16:35):
We're good.
Speaker 2 (16:36):
This game, to me has back door action written all
over and whoa talking about points, spreads, apac. I think
that Buffalo is gonna be winning the whole game, easy, breezy.
They advance, but there's gonna be some bs last second
meaningless bo Nicks runs it in. They win by seven
or eight, and and all of a sudden in Vegas
is burnt and it's like, oh, they've got feel you.
Speaker 1 (16:59):
I'm going to Bronc with like the back door cover.
So Buffalo dominates the game, but Denver makes it look
cool like you know'll be interested. It would be like
that's a good one. Twenty four.
Speaker 2 (17:08):
It would be like twenty four to ten, and it's like, oh,
they got this game in the bag. One minute, ten
seconds left. Bow Nick scrambles left for a touchdown twenty
twenty one, seventeen, twenty four to seventeen, and it's like, oh,
you know, so there you go?
Speaker 1 (17:19):
All right? Uh Sam, what you got? Man? Rich?
Speaker 4 (17:23):
That that is very convincing what you just said. I
wanted to say that Josh Allen just defies all defenses
and you know, just is a magic man. But I'm
gonna take Buffalo to win. But uh, Denver with the points. Yeah, okay,
let's let's move it along here. I don't want to
take Forever on this Packers at Eagles. Let's go to
the NFC Eagles at home. Five and a half points.
Speaker 2 (17:44):
Some injuries for the uh Packers, Yeah, they lost Washington
never got that extra rest.
Speaker 1 (17:50):
It might be a little issue. Jordan Love hurt that
elbow a little bit.
Speaker 2 (17:54):
Only if I say only a five and a half spread, right,
so Givs at home. I'll start off to say Eagles
all the way on that Eagles And y'all, y'all you
want that uh that John Pretzel that they were promoting, Yeah.
Speaker 1 (18:05):
Give me the Eagles and that Pretzel extra Tippins. All right,
I'm I'm going opposite here.
Speaker 2 (18:10):
I'm gonna be a little bit of a Homer because
my wife and her family are Packers fans, and I've
been on Jordan Love in the second half saying this
team is being overlooked because they were in the same
division with the Lions and Vikings. This is a damn
good team. I think I think the Packers could win outright.
I love the five and a half, So I'm going
Green Bay.
Speaker 1 (18:26):
I'm going Packers. Wow, Hunter, what do you think? Man?
Speaker 8 (18:30):
No, I'm not going to go with the Packers. How
You're out with Vanders though, too, isn't he he is? Yeah?
Speaker 2 (18:36):
By the way, imagine sitting Saquon Barkley. Imagine sitting Saquon
so he could rest and not get the record, only
to lose the next week. No way, Okay, Hunter's going Eagles, Spotty.
Speaker 1 (18:48):
What do you got said? No question? Eagles?
Speaker 3 (18:50):
Okay, Danny g Normally I would lean towards the Packers
covering here a little bit, but because Josh Jacob, especially,
that ground game could keep things at least they could
control the clock a little bit. But too many injuries.
I feel like the Eagles will run away in the
fourth quarter.
Speaker 4 (19:06):
I was Samuel, Yeah, I'm gonna take the Eagles to
cover the points there does win.
Speaker 1 (19:12):
Let's go to Tampa Bay.
Speaker 2 (19:15):
Baker Mayfield, Cavino's homie hosting Jayden Daniels.
Speaker 1 (19:19):
The guy that Danny g and I've been believing in
all year.
Speaker 2 (19:22):
This might be the game, oh the week to say,
this might be the most fun game to watch, right,
I'm excited about that.
Speaker 1 (19:28):
Then this is your this is your Sunday evening game.
Speaker 4 (19:31):
This is also a repeat of Week one, where the
Buccaneers won thirty seven to twenty. Yeah.
Speaker 1 (19:35):
Exciting game.
Speaker 2 (19:36):
I don't think either team's going all the way, but
exciting game. Uh, Cavino, We'll start with you all. I
gotta stick with my guy. He is my guy.
Speaker 1 (19:43):
You know.
Speaker 2 (19:43):
I don't have a team, which makes me the odd
guy here on Fox Sports Radio, me and Colin Cowhard.
I don't believe Colin has a team. I don't have
a team Star Stars, and that's pretty much the only
thing we have in common but gray hair.
Speaker 1 (19:56):
He just doesn't diet. I think I'm slowly become being
a Buccaneers fan.
Speaker 5 (20:01):
Man.
Speaker 1 (20:01):
I gotta stick with Tampa Bay here, Okay, spot what's
the spread again? It's it's it's three, So it's like,
you know, Tamba.
Speaker 9 (20:09):
I Yeah, I'm gonna lean with I feel like Baker's
been been having to hear. I know the Commander's had
a strong year, but I think Baker's really going to
bring it home.
Speaker 1 (20:16):
So I'm going with the Bucks. Hunter, My dude, what
do you think.
Speaker 8 (20:19):
This is so hard?
Speaker 6 (20:20):
Man?
Speaker 8 (20:22):
Yep, I'm gonna go. I'm gonna go with Tampa Bay.
I just changed my mind like last second. But I
think Mike Kevin is gonna have a big day.
Speaker 2 (20:32):
Yeah, dude, I mean, if you believe in momentum, Remember
they let him have that moment and that brought that
team together. They looked fired up last week. So I'm
definitely feeling Tampa Bay.
Speaker 1 (20:42):
There. I'm with you Hunter, all right, Danny g Yo.
Speaker 3 (20:45):
As as much as I agree with what you just said, Covino,
I don't think Jayden Daniels is going to let the
commanders down.
Speaker 1 (20:51):
He's cool man. I like him too. I'm going Washington.
Speaker 2 (20:54):
Wow, Spotty, I said it already. We got you Bucks.
I'm sorry, yeah, Sam, I'm sorry.
Speaker 1 (20:58):
Sam.
Speaker 2 (20:59):
I will take the bus to cover the three points.
I'm Jaden Daniels all day. I love Baker, but we
can't just overlook what he's been doing all year.
Speaker 1 (21:08):
And let's wrap it real quick. Vikings at Rams.
Speaker 2 (21:11):
That point spread moved up because the game left so
far and now is being played in Arizona.
Speaker 1 (21:15):
It was one and a half. Now it's Vikings by three.
Speaker 2 (21:17):
I'll start, you know me, I think this is a
blowout Vikings all day.
Speaker 1 (21:22):
Let's go, Sam Darnold. I have to agree with you, Riche.
Speaker 2 (21:25):
Let's get it out of the way, and they have
a lot to prove after that last week, you know
they're still the Vikings.
Speaker 1 (21:30):
They I had a good season. They got this game, Hunter,
what do you think.
Speaker 8 (21:34):
I got Minnesota too. I think that Jefferson and Addison
are just gonna get touchdown, touch aft and touchdown reception
a reception.
Speaker 2 (21:42):
Yeah, spotty boy, Vikings, Vikings, anyone picking the Rams?
Speaker 3 (21:45):
Danny g I was saying, you know, I was thinking
about this game on the drive in because I don't
overlook the Rams there. Once their offense got healthy, Yeah,
with the receivers, all of a sudden they had an
explosive offense. I still think the Vikings win though, but
don't count out the Rams.
Speaker 4 (22:00):
Sammy, the Vikings, they had two they suffered two losses
back to back. One of them was in l A
against the Rams. I think this time though, the uh
Sam Darnold rebounds from that end of season loss against
the Lions. Give me the Vikings to win. Okay, now, guys,
I gotta just cover the three. I have to be
honest with you for a second. As we wrap up
(22:20):
these picks, I'll post all of our picks. I have
to be honest. I would have cheated a little bit.
Oh really, of course I.
Speaker 2 (22:26):
Went with my picks, but my picks were really not
my picks. I asked my five year old son.
Speaker 1 (22:34):
Chargers and Texans. Who wins Chargers in Texans? Same?
Speaker 10 (22:39):
Okay, Chargers, Steelers and Ravens, Steelers and.
Speaker 2 (22:42):
Ravens, Ravens Okay, Broncos and Bills. I don't know.
Speaker 10 (22:49):
You tell me Broncos and Bills, Broncos Okay, Packers and Eagles,
Packy Commanders, Washington or the Buccaneers.
Speaker 6 (23:02):
Okay?
Speaker 1 (23:03):
And the Vikings or Rams, Vikings or Rams?
Speaker 4 (23:08):
Last one?
Speaker 1 (23:08):
What do you think?
Speaker 2 (23:10):
Day?
Speaker 1 (23:11):
Vikings?
Speaker 5 (23:12):
A cool?
Speaker 1 (23:12):
There you go.
Speaker 2 (23:13):
I duplicated my son's picks, and in fact, the only
one I disagree with him on deep down was I
think the Bills might cover.
Speaker 1 (23:20):
But you know I'm gonna go with the Broncos because.
Speaker 2 (23:22):
My five year old son Ben said so. And you know,
stranger things have happened that the way, Rich, no one,
no one believes in like let's do it for La.
You don't think Stanford's trying to really get people fired up.
Speaker 1 (23:33):
You don't believe in the Janney. I don't believe. I
don't believe in that. You don't. I don't believe in that.
Nobody does.
Speaker 2 (23:39):
No Yankees lost the world's heies in one after nine
to eleven. It's almost like a neutral site game, now,
I know.
Speaker 10 (23:43):
I know.
Speaker 2 (23:45):
And by the way, thank you, Hunter, you're the man.
Hopefully we get out. Sorry to send you a little
prize pack.
Speaker 1 (23:49):
D Bud.
Speaker 8 (23:50):
Thanks for having me.
Speaker 3 (23:51):
God, you know what good job Hunters stay on the
line there, Yeah, Danny effect just for playing.
Speaker 1 (23:56):
He was great. He was great. And what are the
odds here? Rich? As far as money, I'll tell you.

Speaker 2 (26:33):
I'm going to check our bonus podcast over promised on
Fox Sports Radios YouTube page. New episode premiered yesterday. So
you want the math, buddy boy? I do I want
the math? We just did our five dollars parlay.
Speaker 1 (26:45):
I got off.
Speaker 2 (26:46):
We got five on it hunters involved, and let's see, well, yeah,
how much money we wanted to get.
Speaker 1 (26:51):
Stener Hunter was the guy that was able to play along.
Speaker 2 (26:54):
Iowa, Sam, Danny g Spot may you everyone did it
and five dollars. A five dollars parlay on a six
or six parlay roughly pays two fifty two hundred and
fifty bucks.
Speaker 1 (27:05):
It was like two forty eight so five bucks.
Speaker 2 (27:08):
I like that six games if you could be the
wild card hero hit up all six and can one
of us beat Rich's nose picking five year old who
imagine if he wins right right, he wins is good
to go at a target and pick out a few things.
Speaker 1 (27:23):
So I think he was just picking the teams he
can pronounce.
Speaker 4 (27:26):
You know, It's funny my son is at that age,
and I think there's a lot of moms and dads
out there when your son or daughter gets very interested
in like watching a game with you. Every day, my
son will ask me a question.
Speaker 2 (27:39):
Like, hey, Dad, who's the Give me a player on
the Bears, like Caleb Williams, and he's like Caleb Williams kid.
Then I see him in the living room with his
little Neir football and he runs and jumps on the
couch and he's like touchdown Maraths. He's really thinking about it.
Speaker 1 (27:51):
Though.
Speaker 2 (27:52):
I had a child expert once to tell me for real, Yeah,
that a kid. He's five, so he's getting older and smarter,
but a little kid, toddler kid will always pick the
last choice you give them. So and he's like, if
you tell a kid you want the pink one, the
red one, the blue one, the green one, or the
black one. They're gonna say, I want the black one
because that's the last thing you said. So if you
(28:12):
listen back, did Ben always go at your last choice?
Because if not, that means he was really thinking about it.
Speaker 1 (28:18):
No, you see, I didn't know. That means he was
really sick. He's memory too for his age.
Speaker 2 (28:24):
Yeah, because most kids they're like, they just remember the
last thing.
Speaker 1 (28:27):
You said to them, and they get way into it.
Speaker 2 (28:30):
By the fact that my five year old son could
name like a bunch of quarterbacks, you know, kids get
into it. And if you go to my Instagram, whim
at Rich Davis, I havent pinned at the top. I
asked my kids that they were like, you know, they
were busting by Juavos about something. I'm like, hey, leave
that alone for a little bit. You guys get to
pick out one toy at Target or something. If in
the next hour you work together, brother and sister work
(28:52):
together and memorize all thirty two NFL teams, would.
Speaker 1 (28:56):
You believe they did it? That's what I was great.
Speaker 2 (28:58):
How much kids want toys from That was really cool.
I love I put that at rich Davis for all
the moms and dads out there? Now, do you want
to go to ILO for an update? See what's going
on in the world?
Speaker 1 (29:09):
Why I want to go? Why? When did I ever
say no, I don't want to go to Ilo? We
love in the beginning of the show, when you said,
why is dam Bayer not here? Don't tell him he's listening.
Oh hi, oh hey, Hilo? What's up?
Speaker 6 (29:19):
Isaac Low and cron No offense taken. Wasn't the first
time my internal recordings have caught that, or the last
or the last? That's right, Fellas we will start in football.
Louisiana State Police today issued an arrest warrant for NFL
draft prospect and former LSU receiver Kyraene Lacy on charges
(29:41):
of negligent homicide and felony hit and run for allegedly
causing a crash back on the seventeenth of December that
killed a seventy eight year old man. Lacy declared for
the NFL Draft two days after the crash. Lacey's agent
issued a statement then reading, in part quote, Kyne is
fully operating with the authorities. We strongly believe that the
(30:03):
facts will ultimately demonstrate the truth this matter is being
taken very seriously unquote. It is still unclear whether Lacy
has turned himself in yet or not. In the NBA,
the New Orleans Pelicans suspended forward Zion Williamson for tonight's
game at Philadelphia for a violation of team policies. Williamson
(30:23):
said in a statement, quote, I take full responsibility. There
is no excuse for being late to team activities unquote.
ESPN reported Williamson was late for yesterday's flight to Philadelphia.
Finally fellas Major League Baseball has permanently banned the two
Yankees fans who interfered with Dodgers outfielder Mookie Betts during
(30:44):
Game four of the World Series. This passed October. It's
so sorry that your cousins, Kavino, you said it, I didn't,
MLB said in a letter to the fans, John Hanson
and Austin Cappo Bianco quotes, your conduct posed a serious
risk to the health and safety of the player and
(31:06):
went far over the line of acceptable fan behavior unquote.
And with that back to you guys.
Speaker 1 (31:14):
Oh, thank you, man.
Speaker 2 (31:15):
I low feel bad for Austin Cappo Bianco and John Hanson.
Does that make them like bigger legends in their hometown
though that they were banned in the USA like Two
Live Crew.
Speaker 1 (31:26):
You know what, I'm always shocked by this.
Speaker 2 (31:30):
Please look, I'm from Jersey and a lot of times
kids got more clout for being bad idiots than actual
good kids, you know what I mean. Like, if you
go to my hometown, you know who the legends are there,
the want to be tough guys, not the guys that
are actually doing something for them.
Speaker 1 (31:47):
So true my question for you, and I know this
is going to change with time.
Speaker 2 (31:51):
I don't know, Isaac, have you been to the new
Into It Dome with the Clippers play.
Speaker 1 (31:56):
I haven't cleared eyeball security yet, us can I.
Speaker 2 (31:59):
Tell you you have to say up for the app,
put in face recognition, all the stuff cave you know.
And I took our daughters because we're you know, super
deats for jingle Ball.
Speaker 1 (32:08):
And you walk in the door. I didn't even have
to show my ticket.
Speaker 2 (32:11):
They're like, hello, uh mister Davis. Go on, think you
were Eli Manning though when you walk in, Hello, mister Manning.
Right this way, there is fake face recognition. But until
every stadium has that, when people are banned, I'm like,
how do you ban someone like.
Speaker 1 (32:28):
Go out standing by tickets from a.
Speaker 2 (32:29):
Scalper walk in like every guido with a Yankees hat
that can identify and get the hell for you guys
all look like you have gold chains.
Speaker 7 (32:36):
Uh.
Speaker 2 (32:37):
You know, if Austin Cappo Bianco wore a John Frankel mustache,
he's not getting into Daddy.
Speaker 1 (32:44):
That's wild.
Speaker 6 (32:45):
So it's gonna be like Bobby Valentine when they called
him the dug out of the groundskeepers.
Speaker 1 (32:48):
Gonna form one of our favorite references ever. I love Isaac.
All right, listen, we got weekend hob nobbing. What to watch?
Speaker 6 (32:54):
Uh?
Speaker 2 (32:55):
In the world of sports? Obviously we got a ton
of football, But outside of football, what else to check out?
We break it down next right here on Fox Sports.
Speaker 1 (33:02):
Ready. Now, we're Covino and Rich, not TV.
Speaker 2 (33:04):
Weathermen, but we know a thing is true about driving

Speaker 1 (33:08):

Pro of the Week and we're debating it. It's tough
because some big you know, big dunks, big games, big players.
(34:42):
This week, well, look we had the two first place
teams had to head the Thunder and the Cavaliers. People
are picking the Cavaliers to win it all. They won
and they were led by Jared Allen with twenty five points.
I don't know Rich is saying, look, I'm getting you
know what, No, I'm taking over. It's Lebron James. He
is our Express pros Pro the weekend. I'll tell you why.
Speaker 1 (35:03):
Tell me why.
Speaker 2 (35:04):
You go on Instagram and you see a girl that's
like twenty two and she's hot, it's not hard to do.
You see a forty year old woman that's hot, harder
to do. I'm giving it to Lebron because of the age.
When some twenty when some twenty year old influencers like,
here's my routine, it's like, you're twenty. Not hard when
you see like a mom who's been through it, a
dad who has responsibilities, a mom that's more. Lebron's a
(35:27):
forty year old man. So in a left handed windmill bunk.
Props to the Cavaliers and Allen and everybody else but
Lebron James. It was the express pro pro of the week.
Congrats to Lebron. And now it's time for one weekend,
hob Nob. Let's go for the weekend.
Speaker 7 (35:45):
You're winning bets for talking points if you get stuck socialize.
Speaker 1 (35:49):
You ever done anything dangerous? You ever dance with the
devil in the panel line? Friday brings us weekend, hob No.
Obviously there's lots of football.
Speaker 2 (35:59):
It stay two of your five days of football, Stiffies.
Speaker 1 (36:03):
So lots of great football.
Speaker 2 (36:04):
You talked about your NFL wildcard games, that's obvious, you know,
And that's what we talked about off the air. I
know it's not we can hop nobin, but we have
a little extra time. Kavino and I. We're trying to
decide would our dads go to a concert with us?
Like our dad we've met twenty years ago, Cave, you know,
and I've been working together our dads.
Speaker 1 (36:21):
I don't think you ever met, right, I don't think
they've ever met now.
Speaker 2 (36:24):
And we're both gonna be in New York this summer
and Billy Joel and Rod Stewart are playing at Yankee
Stadiums together one night only show, and I feel like
my dad and Cavino's dad are both like Billy Joel
Rod Stewart guys. I was like, would it be corny
and hilarious if we were, like, come on, dads.
Speaker 1 (36:40):
I don't know if they'd go, but.
Speaker 3 (36:41):
Yeah, one night only that would be funny and you
should have them film of course each other.
Speaker 1 (36:48):
The fact that we've known each other twenty years. I
have a dance off, the game off. We think they
have a dance off and it gets awkward.
Speaker 2 (36:53):
What if they do a podcast together and it's like
there are dads and they're better than us.
Speaker 1 (36:56):
I know, r two old guys.
Speaker 2 (36:58):
So yeah, that was announced this week. That's something to watching.
Here's some others. Yeah, right, Caroline Dubois Caroline duba versus
Jessica Kamara ten rounds. IBF Women's lightweight title is on
the line on the Zone, So some good boxing. A
boxing card on the Zone this weekend if you want
to watch some fights and two documentaries that I highly
(37:20):
recommend first one if you like music and if you
want to have some family fun time. I highly recommend
this for you, Danny G. I mentioned it. Piece by
Piece is the Pharrell Williams Story. It's the documentary of
Pharrell right of the Neptunes of N. E. R. D. Farrell,
the Superstar producer. But it's done in lego form. He
has everybody in his story, from Gwen Stefani to jay
(37:44):
Z Yeah, but everybody, Teddy Riley, they're all in it
as legos and it's a really fun documentary in the
music and the soundtracks phenomenal. It's available on Amazon Prime.
Piece by Piece and another music based documentary that I recommend.
It's a little sad, but it's a cool story. It's
called I'm Tim and it's out now on Netflix. Who's Tim?
(38:05):
Tim is a Vici, better known as a Vicci, the
superstar producer and DJ, and you learn about his crazy
life and his ups and downs and the people he
collaborated and worked with. And uh, it's a sad story,
but it's definitely worth the watch on Netflix.
Speaker 1 (38:18):
Check it out now, Danny G. I'm gonna steal this
right from you, punk I talked about this a couple
of days.
Speaker 2 (38:24):
Right from probably your notes in front of you, so
I'll give Danny G.
Speaker 1 (38:27):
Props.
Speaker 2 (38:28):
You reminded me that there's a Jerry Springer documentary. Yes, sir,
I want you to know the difference between rich and
me though, because guess what I had it written down.
I was like, Noah, I bet you, Danny G's gonna
say it.
Speaker 3 (38:38):
It's a two part documentary fights camera action.
Speaker 7 (38:42):
You know.
Speaker 2 (38:43):
The trailer makes the team like the people behind the scenes,
like there was a lot of drama.
Speaker 3 (38:47):
It's there's so much that you have no idea happened
behind the scenes that we were kids at the time.
So it's dude, think he even more special to see
because we didn't know about any of this.
Speaker 2 (38:58):
Remember he was he was a political guy, right mayor Cincinnati. Yeah,
and then he got in trouble because he wrote a
check to a prostitute.
Speaker 1 (39:06):
So you've remember that it is white. He recently was married,
and she's like, what is this.
Speaker 3 (39:10):
He was a straight newsman and his arm had to
kind of be twisted to go out and do the
style show they eventually wound up doing.
Speaker 1 (39:18):
You know.
Speaker 2 (39:19):
Interestingly enough, we always talk about Mike Tyson and Dennis
Rodman and some of the most interesting people out there.
The late great Jerry Springer is such an interesting path
when you think about a politician newsman, and because he
was like the face of like trash fighting television. So
definitely gonna watch that two part documentary.
Speaker 3 (39:37):
The Beef, The Beef between him and Oprah. It's at
that's making headlines. A lot of people are taking that
out of the first episode.
Speaker 1 (39:44):
Changed it daytime format forever. Yeah. Sure.
Speaker 2 (39:48):
Del Camino, a guy that looks like you when you
have one too Many Takethos has a new stand up special.
Speaker 1 (39:52):
Gab Iglesias, Oh yeah, we're identical. Love too Many.
Speaker 2 (39:57):
Titos, Love of Fluffy, I Love Gave, I Love Gaba
Gli just called you Bloated, so a brand new comedy special,
and we talked about Nate Barghestzi special last week. Gave
you one this week from gab Iglesias and Danny g you.
You turned me on to season two of Shrinking, which
is great. Silo on Apple TV, Yeah, I got it good,
(40:17):
you got to get I gotta take your word on
that one.
Speaker 4 (40:19):
Silo is fantastic, and there's a drama called.
Speaker 1 (40:23):
Missing You on Netflix.
Speaker 2 (40:24):
I might check out No Good Deed with Ray Romano
and Lisa kudro I checked out, And if you want
to watch it at home and you didn't have a
chance to get to the theater, you could buy and
rent Wicked.
Speaker 4 (40:36):
From the comfort of your own couch for like thirty buckaroos.
Speaker 1 (40:38):
Right then again like at the theater, like one ticket's
like fifteen twenty. Well, no, that's worth it. Not bad.
Anything else on your radar, Dandy.
Speaker 3 (40:44):
Well, besides the new two parter on Jerry Springer, I
had written down that Brendan and I finished an old series,
but it's worth the rewatch on Netflix, Breaking Bad so legendary.
I wanted to see it all over again, and it
was at there's things I noticed this time around that
I didn't notice the first time back in twenty thirteen.
Speaker 1 (41:05):
And next on the list for Brenda's al Camino, she
was new to it. Let me let me tell you.
Speaker 2 (41:09):
There's a couple of shows a lot of our friends
keep so Eizenberg.
Speaker 1 (41:13):
