(00:24):
The guys help you make those hard decisions. And now
let's get your flex. Ond here's Dan Bayer and Mike Harmon.

Speaker 3 (00:35):
Week thirteen is here. It's I Want Your Flex. You
can find me on ex at Dan Byer on Fox.
You can find Mike Harman at Swallendoma, and you can
find Ian Roddy at Ian Roddy Underscore. But you're not
going to find either of them on this podcast. Ian
is with family over the Thanksgiving holiday and Mike's.

Speaker 1 (00:51):
Equipment is fried.

Speaker 3 (00:53):
It is the technical difficulties of all technical difficulties.

Speaker 1 (00:56):
We just could not connect with Mike.

Speaker 3 (00:58):
So unfortunately, Mike is not going to be here and
Ian's not going to be here either. However, they have
passed along their information to myself and the executive producer
of I Want Your Flex Season three and four, Ryan Berschinger,
joins me for the podcast today.

Speaker 1 (01:14):
What's going on?

Speaker 4 (01:15):
Bursch, oh Dan, this is fun. I'm really happy to
be back on back on the flex. This is a
good time.

Speaker 1 (01:22):
Is that what you call it amongst the group?

Speaker 3 (01:24):
Like when you were producing, where you're like, Babe, I'm
gonna be late tonight, Gotta do the flex, Gotta do
the flex, and she knew exactly what you meant.

Speaker 4 (01:32):
Right then I'd be like, no ab this week, no
old ball, no.

Speaker 3 (01:38):
Ball this week, no ball this week. You could even
shorten it that way as well.

Speaker 4 (01:44):
I rely for inside the Parker, Yeah, just on occasion.
Straight straight heat is what I say for straight fire,
just instead of oh I can't abbreviate it, but that's
that's I don't know, it feels more apps straight heat.

Speaker 3 (01:59):
Getting getting all all of the podcasts here on Fox
Sports Radio. You could do my short lived golf podcast
as well, which I don't even think I had a
name for it, but anyway.

Speaker 1 (02:10):
A long long time ago.

Speaker 3 (02:12):
Let's get into week thirteen to dive into the three
matchups that we've got on Thursday, the Friday matchup, and
of course then the rest of the slate coming up
on Sunday and Monday. We always start our first segment
with Mike Harmon's top five rankings at the quarterback, running back,
and wide receiver position.

Speaker 1 (02:27):
He has passed those along to us. Let's get into
him right now.

Speaker 3 (02:31):
Harmon's number one quarterback four Week thirteen, Patrick Mahomes and
the Kansas City Chiefs. Yes, they go to Dallas. Mahomes
gets the number one spot despite having three straight games
of under twenty points or more. Dallas defense has been
a team give up some points sands what Philadelphia did
in the second half last week. But Patrick Mahomes is
in number one. The White Hot La Rams traveled to Carolina.

(02:52):
Matthew Stafford is Harmon's number two quarterback for the week.
Speaking of the aforementioned Philadelphia Eagles, Jalen Hurtz comes in
at number three. They've got that Black Friday game against
the Chicago Bears coming up. Hurts ninth most points on
the season nineteen point six points per game. On Monday Night,
it's the Patriots and Giants, a Super Bowl rematch, if
you will, of the matchups in Super Bowl forty two

(03:15):
and forty six. Drake May comes in at number four
and coming in at number five is going to be
down possibly some offensive lineman some key targets. Josh Allen,
though is able to make the top five. They take
on the Steelers in Pittsburgh. Lamar Jackson on the outside
looking in is they face the Bengals coming up on
Thursday Night Football. First, what do you think of Harmon's

(03:38):
top five rankings plus the addition of Lamar in at
number six.

Speaker 4 (03:41):
Yeah, Lamar is definitely the interesting one because on paper,
this screams like a top two play for Lamar Jackson
this week. At the worst, he's playing the Bengals. This
should be a game where typically the last couple of years,
Lamar would feast against a defense such as bad as
the Bengals. However, we're coming off of back to back
weeks where Lamar has struggled. It's been very bizarre, nothing

(04:05):
really going on either in either the passing game or
the run game. However, you have to think that this
is the week that he gets back right. He's too good,
the offense is too good, the Bengals defense is too bad,
and of course, with Joe Burrow being on the other
side in this game, you figure, especially since the Ravens
struggle in defending the pass, this should be a shootout.

(04:25):
This should be a we would love to see, especially
this late in the season in the playoff push and fantasy.
We would love to see a big forty five to
forty two game from these sides, and hopefully we will
get it. I think you can still play Lamar with
full confidence this week. I think he will absolutely get
back on track this week.

Speaker 3 (04:43):
It is interesting Lamar hasn't looked the same when running
the football because I just think he's still a little
apprehensive about the hamstring. They've also been able to ride
Derrick Henry some a lot more of the goaling opportunities,
scoring twice against the Jets this past weekend. Should be
a fun one. But I also think Joe Burrow could
have significant rust. You don't have t Higgins, so maybe

(05:06):
Cincinnati isn't as potent.

Speaker 1 (05:08):
I don't know.

Speaker 3 (05:09):
As previously we shall see division matchup. Both of these
teams know each other so well. However, we've seen these
teams have forty five to thirty eight overtime games before.

Speaker 1 (05:18):
Hopefully they can put on a show for us coming
up on Thursday night.

Speaker 3 (05:22):
I think you're going to hear some of the names
I may have just mentioned in the Harmon's top five
running backs four week thirteen. So let's get right into it.
How about the first game of the week Lions and Packers.
Jamiir Gibbs tops the rankings four week thirteen, coming off
of a performance where he scored six hundred and twenty
two points against the New York Giants. Just kidding that
was an exaggeration, but Jamiir Gibbs is Mike Harmon's number

(05:44):
one running back four week thirteen, number two, fresh off
the buy and off their win in Spain in Week
eleven against the Commanders. Devon e Chan twenty point two
points per game so far throughout the middle of the season.
Overall fourth as a running back on the year at
eighteen point nine points per game. Christian McCaffrey short week,

(06:04):
but he makes it in at number three. They've got
the Browns at Shador Sanders coming up on Sunday.

Speaker 1 (06:10):
Derrick Henry we just mentioned in at number four.

Speaker 3 (06:13):
And how about the other running back in that game
in Baltimore coming up on Thursday night, Chase Brown. Chase
Brown has been great for Cincinnati despite the team not
getting wins, Tied for thirteenth best at twenty point eight points.
Per game so far this season. Four Chase Brown. They're
in Baltimore, as we said, to face the Ravens. Birsch
Mike Carmens Top five. What do you think about those?

Speaker 4 (06:34):
First off on Chase Brown. The game this week again,
as we mentioned, hopefully a high scoring affair. This is
the reason why I was targeting Chase Brown at the
trade deadline in a couple leaks. Didn't get him anywhere,
but I tried because he and the Bengals have a
great fantasy schedule remaining, of course the two games with
the Ravens. They also have the Bills coming up next week.

(06:56):
They got the Cardinals in Week seventeen. With the way
that Jacob is throwing the ball in the way that
offense is moving, hopefully that is a very high scoring affair.
An interesting name that was not included in your top
five is the guy who has been number one in
fantasy this season again in Harmon's top five, Jonathan Taylor
not in the top five. I understand the Texans defense

(07:18):
has been very strong this season, but it's really interesting
to still not include him in this top five. I
think it's because you have such tasty matchups elsewhere, but
also it is Jonathan Taylor. You should still get a
huge game from him.

Speaker 1 (07:31):
Yeah.

Speaker 3 (07:31):
Absolutely, Harmon has him seventh in the rankings this week.
James Cook is actually number six and Cook as well.
The last time that we saw the Bills offense do
anything was early in that game against the Texans and
was his touchdown run. So Cook and Taylor are names
that usually pop up in the top five of Mike's
didn't make the top five this week, but they are hovering.
They are waiting to land in at number six and

(07:53):
number seven. Let's get to the wide receivers Mike Harmon's
Top five wide receivers of four Week thirteen numeral. You
know it continues on this thread of Thursday Football and
Thursday Night Football. Jamar Chase back from his suspension, gets
Joe burrowback. Chase is sitting there at number one. Puka
Nakua in at number two for the Rams mentioned They've

(08:14):
got the game against the Panthers and it's a short
week for the Panthers as they are coming off of
that loss to the forty nine ers on Monday Night.
Jackson Smith and Jigba the top wide receiver that we've
seen throughout the season and Fantasy in at number three.
Seahawks have the Vikings coming to town. Another Thanksgiving treats
was she Rice George Pickens four and five in Mike's rankings,

(08:38):
where she Rice with the big game against the Colts
in the overtime victory that they had in week twelve,
and George Pickens coming off that nine catch performance last
week against Philadelphia rounds out Mike's top five.

Speaker 4 (08:53):
Very interesting here that of course he has George Pickens
ahead of Ceedee Lamb.

Speaker 1 (09:00):
I would too, by the way I would.

Speaker 3 (09:02):
Yeah, I look at it like the way that CD
dropped the touchdown, which is bad against Philadelphia. The most
telling statistic for me in week twelve was nine targets
and nine receptions for George Pickens. Ceed you have took
four catches on eleven targets, but nine for nine. So
everything that is going George Pickens way is being caught,

(09:23):
and if all the attention is on ceed Lamb, then
George Pickens is able to feast.

Speaker 4 (09:29):
I love him. I love them both, and of course
you're obviously playing both of them this week. And it
is interesting that Pickens is now apparently off the injured
injury report. He was nursing a bit of a CAF
and hamstring, but he is off the injury report ahead
of Thursday night's game. Hopefully this is another super high
scoring affair. We've had plenty of names from this game

(09:52):
in our rank in the in the top five. I'm
sure we're gonna see even more for the hot plays.
But CD and Pickens should be very strong plays this week.

Speaker 1 (10:01):
Davante Adams is on the outside looking in.

Speaker 3 (10:04):
He is in at number six for Mike Carmen and
the aforementioned I like that word, aforementioned ceedee lamb. He
comes in at number seven for the week. But Davante
Adams touchdown maker. I mean, it's just I punted on
Adams because I didn't think that there would be yards.
But when you're scoring touchdowns every week and he's getting

(10:26):
into the end zone at eighteen point two points, at
eighteen point two points last week in a standard league
in the half point PPR, obviously even better for DeVante
Adams twenty point seven. But yeah, DeVante Adams has not
let up like I thought he would. I thought he's
not gonna be scoring all these touchdowns and the yardages

(10:46):
and aren't there? Boy, was I wrong? As the Rams
continue to cook.

Speaker 4 (10:51):
What's interesting about him too is that his numbers haven't
impacted Puka's numbers. They've impacted Karen Williams because he's taking
all the touchdowns at the goal line.

Speaker 1 (10:59):
Yeah, good point, really good point.

Speaker 4 (11:01):
Instead of running them in, Stafford's been throwing them and
and you know his his Stafford's passing numbers are incredible.
His gigantic touchdown to interception ratio is incredible. And a
big part of that is because they're opting at the
goal line. They'll occasionally give it to Kyron and then
he gets stopped in the one. I know that because
I've been watching Kyron intently, and then I watched them
instead drop back and throw it to DeVante Adams instead.

(11:23):
So but good on DeVante, And yeah, he's been a
wonderful play.

Speaker 3 (11:27):
What do you think is worse the feeling when the
Rams still get to the one yard line and they
don't hand it off to Kyra and Williams, or when
Philly gets to the one and you know, Saquon isn't
getting into the end zone.

Speaker 1 (11:38):
Like that was the like what I had.

Speaker 3 (11:41):
I have Saquon on on one of my leagues and
when I would see the Eagles, it would be like, okay,
the three yard line is good. Two yard lines kind
of like the neutral zone where you're like, okay, they
just made Tush push from here. You have no idea,
but then when it got to the one, you're like,
all right, I'm not going to get any points here.
Like that's how I feel when those scenarios happened. And

(12:02):
to your point, it's Devanta Adams one yard touchdown catch.

Speaker 4 (12:06):
And it's so much more harmful for Saquon this year too,
because last year didn't matter because he was he was
running like crazy and his numbers were wild. This year
he could really use those those goal line touchdowns. If
you have Saquon, you could really use those. And yeah,
it's it's been not as fun with Saquon this year.

Speaker 3 (12:23):
They are your top five quarterbacks and running backs and
wide receivers from Mike Harmon. I hope I didn't butcher
it too much, and I may have given some wrong
information on Chase Brown, but just know this, Chase Brown's
in your top five this week. That's so you're gonna
play him against the Ravens. He's been good for the
Bengals over the last couple of weeks, So Chase.

Speaker 1 (12:39):
Brown a top five play.

Speaker 3 (12:41):
Who are the guys that didn't make the rankings that
Mike loves this week? And who are the ones that
Mike just isn't keen on. We've got your hot plays,
Cold Sores, and Ninja's coming up next. Plus Burtsch is
gonna present us with the streaming defense. Is that Ian
Roddy was able to set up for week thirteen. I've
got a points of Palooza and some Survivor picks as well,
all coming up next year on I Want Your Flex.

Speaker 1 (13:02):
Welcome back to where I Want Your Flex. I'm Dan Byer.

Speaker 3 (13:05):
Ryan Berschinger's my teammate today is Harmon's equipment. Just said no,
Moss It called it it quits a month early for
twenty twenty five, looking for better stuff in twenty twenty six.
Ian Roddy is with family on this Thinksgiving holiday, so
we hope, well, we hope Mike and his family have
the best and Ian as well. So Ryan and I

(13:26):
have got you covered here on the pod. You can
always reach out to us. I'm at dan Byer on Fox.
Mike's at Swollendome. Ian is at Ian Roddy Underscore, and
if you want to reach out to Bursch, just fund
I'm at Ryan Berschinger on x That's where you can
find all of Ryan stuff. And if you like Ryan's
fantasy advice, who knows, maybe Randalls will start tweeting you
Mersch and you can just give information. I have said
the one thing. As much as I cheer for my teams,

(13:49):
as much as I cheer for my own fantasy teams,
and I should say the Seahawks because they're the only
team that I cheer for. But as much as I
cheer for the Seahawks and my own fantasy team, there
is nothing like cheering for your own advice that you've
given to someone via social media like it is it
is when somebody asks you a specific question and you

(14:10):
give an answer and it's out there. There's I mean,
you're pulling for that like no other. If somebody comes
in and says, Dan, who do you like Ceedee Lamb
or George Pickens, And I've got George Pickens on my team,
and I said Ceedee Lamb, I am more cheering for
my prediction.

Speaker 1 (14:26):
To go right on that tweet than I am actually
for my for my squad.

Speaker 4 (14:30):
Yeah, so I feel that I get a random start
sit questions from from coworkers on occasion, and I'll say
I go with this person, and then I'm like, damn it,
I better be right, Like.

Speaker 3 (14:43):
Hey, well before we get to the hot plays. Arnaldo
Silva tweets in guys quarterback question this week, Joe Burrow,
bo Nicks, brock Perty, what's your opinion? Thanks in advance.
I say you gotta roll with Burrow. If he's back
that matchup, gotta go with it. I know the Broncos
have a favorable matchup with the Commanders, but I don't

(15:05):
think that the game is going to play out high scoring,
and I wouldn't trust Purdy against the Browns defense.

Speaker 4 (15:12):
I fully agree. Yeah, I think Burrows is even the
safest play there, despite the fact that yes he's coming
back from injury. No t Higgins, but he's going to
sling it like he's. The whole reason he's playing is
because he wants to, So i'd imagine he's gonna go
in guns blazing. Bo Nicks is a is a solid start,

(15:34):
but you want to go for a ceiling play, especially
right now, You're probably this is a playoff push. If
you're not in the playoffs yet, you kind of have
to go for go for broke here a little bit,
go big on it. Definitely don't play Brock Purdy, not
against the Browns.

Speaker 2 (15:48):
No.

Speaker 1 (15:49):
I'll tell you what.

Speaker 3 (15:50):
Of these three quarterbacks, one is in Harmon's cold sore list,
one is in the hot plays. Let's find out who
it is. Right now, let's get to the hot plays.
We start with a quarterback in the desert, Jacoby Brissett
in the Arizona Cardinals, again week by week, taking away
any chance Kyler Murray could have to regain the starting
position in Arizona, they travel to face the Buccaneers over

(16:13):
under right now forty three and a half, and even
without Marvin Harrison Junior, Jacoby Brissett and the Cardinals have
been able to move the football. And even if it's
losing football, who cares, it's points When Jacoby Brissett's throwing
the football around bow knicks the aforementioned bo Nix, I
get to say that again, Broncos quarterback. One of the

(16:33):
questions we had from Ronaldo. He is one of Harmon's
hot plays. As they travel to DC to take on
the Commanders, another quarterback Justin Herbert their home against the Raiders,
and Jared Goff in a Thanksgiving matchup against the Packers
also a hot play, averaging eighteen point two points per game,
fifteenth best. But sometimes those Thanksgiving Day games can get

(16:55):
a little funky, can get a little fun Jared Goff
is your starting quarterback.

Speaker 1 (16:59):
Some of the running backs for the hot plays.

Speaker 3 (17:00):
Saquon Barkley did make the list at the number they're
in the spot of hot plays, as did Trevon Henderson
going up against the Giants. Jalen Warren and the Steelers
welcome Buffalo to Tom should be able to get to
some points for the Steelers running back as he's trying
to come back healthy when he's been out. Kenneth Greenwell

(17:22):
is filled in admirably, but Mike Scott Jalen Warren as
a hot play. And how about these wide receivers Jalen
Waddle against the Saints. I love that matchup, Devonte Smith
and not aj Brown as the hot play against the Bears,
and Stefon Diggs for the New England Patriots against the Giants.
Giants giving up the fourth and most Fantasy points right

(17:43):
now to receivers this year, so Stefan Diggs is one
of your hot plays. Yes, what do you think about
Harmon's hot plays of the week.

Speaker 4 (17:51):
Definitely big on the Patriots offense overall. With the matchup
against the Giants. I know that Ramandre Stevenson is now
healthy back in the mix, but Travion Henderson has been
so good. Uh And and this has been a long
time coming. Everybody has been waiting and eagerly anticipating for
the Travon Henderson breakout to happen. Once it happened, I
don't think there's any going back for the Patriots. They're

(18:13):
going to keep feeding him the ball. Stevenson will probably
get some touches.

Speaker 1 (18:18):
Uh.

Speaker 4 (18:18):
And if you're desperate for a flex play, I think
he actually uh provides some some potential there. But uh, yeah,
Travon is a great play. And hoping for a strong
game from Stefan Diggs as well. I was hoping for
a big one last week against the Bengals that became
the Hunter Henry game, and that's that's fine. Hunter Henry
is also a solid play this week.

Speaker 1 (18:38):
Uh.

Speaker 4 (18:38):
And even Kashawan Boody Uh. If you're if you're looking
for pieces of this game, Booty has been has been
very steadily involved in this offense coming back from injury. Now, Uh,
there's the Patriots offense has been very impressive and uh
and yes, absolutely plenty of hot pieces in this offense.

Speaker 3 (18:57):
The funny thing about Travon Henderson, because we've had the
conversation on the pod over the last couple of weeks,
I've been I've been steadfast in my thinking of how
they're going to use Trevion Henderson and Trayvon Henderson is not,
in my mind, going to have a game where he's
getting twenty five carries or thirty carries like Kareemunt got
for the Chiefs in Week twelve. That they're going to
want to keep him in that fifteen to twenty carry

(19:23):
sort of game. And that's been the script so far.
You had a couple of big runs that we know
against Tampa and obviously against the Jets had the three
touchdown game, but there hasn't been a contest where Trevion
Henderson his top twenty rushes so far this season. But
what is interesting is what happened last week against the
Bengals was that there wasn't a split, not that there
would be a split, but Ramandre Stevenson basically got six carries,

(19:47):
was in on some short yardage plays, but the workload
did tilt to Travion Henderson. I just don't think you're
going to see him with thirty carries in a game
for the Patriots at any point, so you're hoping he
makes the big plays, which was part of my point.
My point was, don't expect the twenty five carries, but
you're going to play him for a home run effect.
I did think we would see a little bit more
from Rmandre Stevenson, and maybe we will.

Speaker 1 (20:08):
It was his first game back.

Speaker 3 (20:10):
I played Trel Jennings a little bit as well, but
there should be some There should be enough to feast
against the Giants coming up on Monday night.

Speaker 1 (20:17):
Let's get to the cold source. We'll see if there's
any Giants in this list on offense, they've been red hot.
Let's take a look, all right, Caleb Williams cold sore going.

Speaker 3 (20:26):
Up against that Philadelphia defense on the Black Friday game.
Caleb Williams has been hot and cold. Trust me, I
ended up benching him and then he goes and throws
for a hat trick a touchdowns against the Steelers last week.
But Caleb Williams starting off Mike Carmon's cold list, Daniel
Jones going up against that Texans defense allowing twelve.

Speaker 1 (20:47):
Point two points per game this season.

Speaker 3 (20:49):
Texans a tough tough tha, as we saw as evidence
sacking Josh Allen on Thursday night in week twelve. Now
they got that huge divisional matchup Daniel Jones seventeen point
one point. It's a fewer in three straight starts. Brock
Party could not get it done for me on Monday night.
A couple of days later, I'm still mad losing by
sixtensive a point. Yeah, have you lingered for days in

(21:10):
your gut that You're just like, how did I lose
that game? I thought after one sleep I would be good.
A couple of days later, I'm like, this is bs.
How did how in the world did I lose that game?

Speaker 1 (21:20):
Ever happened to you in Fantasy.

Speaker 4 (21:23):
It's happened this year. It's happened too many times. My
dynasty has been sank this year by two games. One
game I lost by about point four. The other game
I lost by a point and a half, And I'm like,
it's stupid. This day they had Spencer Rattler in might
super flex and I hate myself for it. So it's yeah,

(21:44):
that's been a frustrating one, but yes, I feel those.

Speaker 1 (21:48):
Misery loves company.

Speaker 3 (21:49):
When Ian told me he lost his game by five
tenths of a point, he goes, I don't know if
it's going to make you feel any better.

Speaker 1 (21:55):
Ago you know what, Ian, it actually does does. Misery
loves company.

Speaker 3 (21:58):
So I'm glad to hear it, to hear other people
and that other people may actually have it worse.

Speaker 1 (22:03):
But yeah, Brock Purty on the cold source.

Speaker 3 (22:05):
Let's get to the cold soores running backs Javonte Williams
going up against Kansas City Chiefs, fourth best and stopping
running backs this season. Tyrone Tracy of the Giants against
the Patriots, had a nice game against the Lions. I
don't expect the same against New England and New England
averaging thirteen point nine points per game allowed so far

(22:25):
this season two running backs, so don't expect Tyrone Tracy
to have a huge game. Rico Dowdell on the cold
list as well. And how about a couple of wide receivers.
Young wide receivers a Mecca Abuca going up against Arizona
Teedan McMillan against the Rams and Roma Dunze for the
Bears against the Eagles. Abuca situation obviously unclear because we

(22:48):
don't know what's happening with Baker Mayfield, but those are
Mike's cold soars for Week thirteen.

Speaker 4 (22:54):
Yeah, I have too many of these players, but I am.
I'm starting Jacoby Brissett over Daniel Jones in the league
and it's so weird to feel so good about that.
It's also weird if I told myself at the beginning
of the season, like, Hey, you're going to be in
a really strong playoff position and you're gonna start Jacoby
Brissett over Daniel Jones and those are your two quarterbacks.

(23:17):
But also going further down the list here, Roma Dunz
has been real frustrating because he started off the season
so incredibly well and he has been the clear number
one target for Caleb in this offense throughout the season. However,
despite that, it's been very up and down. Caleb has
still had some good games where Adunza did not show up.

(23:39):
Of Rome, of course, had a zero against the Bengals,
which was ridiculous because again, incredibly great matchup there. Since
the bye week Adunza has had two top twelve finishes
and five finishes top forty or lower. In fact, last
week he was wide receiver forty and then every four

(23:59):
of the previous week since the bye week outside of
the top fifty two. So it's been it's been really
rough going because Rome established himself as somebody who you
thought was really going to carry your offense to be
a strong wide receiver, you know, low end wide receiver one,
high end wide receiver two, and it just hasn't been that.

(24:20):
And then the matchup this week is awful. I definitely
would stay away from from Caleb and Rome, especially you
know DeAndre Swift. I believe he had the injury last game.
Their their run game is is kind of a mess
especial against this Eagles defense. So you want to see
a lot of points in this game, but we don't

(24:43):
tend to really get that when the team is facing
the Eagles. I know the Cowboys were able to show
up against them last week, but the Cowboys also had
already played them this season. I think that kind of
went into effect. This is going to be in Philly, yeah,
so this is yeah, definitely a lot of Bears. I
would stay away from this week the.

Speaker 3 (25:01):
A Mecca Buca Mike's notes that he passed along has
had one game over the last six where he's had
more than seven point eight points. So you talk about
Roma Doonzay's hot start, A Mecca a Buka the same thing.
Mike also wrote down Justin Jefferson as a cold sore
and he's kind of just being in that territory where
you're just not expecting anything from him this week. But

(25:22):
we don't know who the quarterback is going to be
for the Minnesota Vikings, and maybe maybe Max Brosmer is
an upgrade.

Speaker 1 (25:28):
And it's crazy as it is to say.

Speaker 3 (25:30):
But we won't know until Sunday on who's going to
be the quarterback and whether it's an upgrade or not.
So Mike's advice is to maybe just stay away from
Justin Jefferson altogether. All right, let's get to the Ninjas.
Mike's sneaky plays four Week thirteen. How about two A
tongue of I looa against the Saints. I'm starting to
like this Dolphins team. It seems like that, not since

(25:50):
the Tyree Kill injury, but since the Chris Career firing
and maybe the show of support to Mike McDaniel that
the Dolphins are playing a little bit better.

Speaker 1 (25:57):
How about Trevor Lawrence?

Speaker 3 (25:58):
After that overtime went against the Cardinals, they traveled to
Nashville to take on the Titans. Trevor Lawrence one of
Mike's ninja plays for the week, and cam Ward on
the other side of that. Why not throw him in
as a ninja play right now? The Jaguars allowing sixteen
point three points per game to opposing quarterbacks, but cam

(26:21):
Ward seemingly able to not solve the riddle of the
Seahawks defense, but was at least able to produce some
fantasy points in that contest. Two hundred and twenty five
yards a game, thirty five rushing yards the last two
contests for cam mood. Let's get to the running backs.
Trey Benson Cardinals going up against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
Of course, he's been out with the foot injury, and
the Cardinals have been dealing with injuries, whether it be Benson,

(26:44):
James Connor, Amario de Marcado has been out as of late.
So Trey Benson back in the fold, he could be
a ninja forty against the Bucks. R J. Harvey taking
over that lead spot for the Broncos with JK Dobbins
foot injury. How about the wide receivers. Let's dabble into
that Jacksonville Titans game again. Jamiri dk not only returning kicks,
but he's also had a role in the passing game.

(27:05):
Devin Neil of the Saints going up against the Dolphins
is one of the hot or excuse me, one of
the ninjas for Mike Harmon this week. How about Isaiah
Yoshavas for the Cincinnati Bengals facing the Baltimore Ravens. And finally,
Xavier Worthy another Thanksgiving special, a wide receiver for the
Kansas City Chiefs taking on the Dallas Cowboys. Those are
Mike's ninjas for week thirteen. What stands out to you

(27:29):
on that list of some sneaky plays, Bersch.

Speaker 4 (27:31):
I think Devin Neil is an excellent play. If Kamara
is in fact out, especially for extended time, it's very
possible that Kamara may may not see the field for
the rest of the season. I know that it looks
like he's probably fine, it might be one to three weeks,
but it wouldn't surprise me if if they kind of
just see what they've got with Neil and then try

(27:53):
to move on him for the remainder, to rely on
him for the remainder of the season. He showed definitely
some spark and some flash last week when he came
in for Kamara. And if he is available still in
your leagues, he really should have been picked up during
the waiver period. But if he is currently available, he's

(28:14):
absolutely somebody that I think should be jumped on because
the Saints have a schedule for the rest of the
way that if Neil gets a heavy workload, he could
absolutely be a league winner. He's that kind of guy.

Speaker 3 (28:26):
Five catches against the Saints to go along with his
workout of the backfield with seven targets. So the Saints
were behind in that game. But when you're looking at options,
you can't throw everything to Chris lave And Yeah, to
your point, Neil could be the guy.

Speaker 1 (28:42):
By the way, I think I called.

Speaker 3 (28:43):
Yoshavas Isaiah andre Yoshavaz would probably be the better way
to call him. But andre Yoshavats gets the call for
Cincinnati again in a high point total contest for that
Ravens Bengals game coming up on Thursday night. All right,
those are your high plays Cold Soores and Ninja's from
Mike Harmon in Week thirteen. Hopefully I didn't butcher him

(29:06):
too bad, but Mike's got the information for you and
I would just follow along to that way.

Speaker 1 (29:10):
That's probably the best way to go about it.

Speaker 3 (29:12):
Hit Ryan Berschinger up on ex at Ryan Berschinger, you
can find me at Dan Byer on Fox. Mike at
Swollen Dome, and Ian Roddy are executive producer who's out
as well at Ian Roddy Underscore. Bursch is going to
have Ian's streaming defenses. Plus I got a points of
palose Up and Survivor pick for you. It's all coming
up next to wrap up our Thanksgiving week edition. If
I want your flex, I got a points of pal

(29:32):
Loser for you plus a couple of Survivor picks to
enter week thirteen. But first we start with the streaming defenses.
We don't have Mike Harmon because the technical issues and
Ian Roddy's not with us, So Ryan Berschinger, you will
be delivering Ian's streaming defenses for week thirteen.

Speaker 1 (29:47):
What does Ian like?

Speaker 4 (29:48):
Absolutely? So let's start here. He's given us three plays
this week, and I agree with all three of these
the Jaguars. They're rostered in fifty four percent of leagues currently,
and they've got the Titans. And now, yes, Gambard has
improved lately, but he's still someone we're targeting for streaming defense.
Last week was only a second game without a turnover,
so he's still very prone to giveaways. He also took

(30:11):
four sacks in that game. Award takes a lot of sacks,
and the Jaguars have multiple guys on that front that
should be able.

Speaker 1 (30:16):
To get home.

Speaker 4 (30:17):
And one thing I want to mention with these streaming defenses,
I don't know if you guys have really dived into
yet in terms of looking ahead towards fantasy playoffs for
matchups for defenses the Jaguars specifically, if you grab the
Jaguars this week, yes, they will have the Colts next week,
but if you're already locked up in the playoffs, you

(30:39):
should be looking at rostering defenses for playoff matchups specifically,
if you haven't started to do so, Hopefully other people
in your league haven't started to do so, you could
play the Jaguars this week and then hold on to them.
They've got the Jets in week fifteen, so that would
be a great first round defense to play for you.

(31:00):
Looking at this week, still, the Niners have the Browns. Yes,
should or Sanders won last week, but we want to
play a defense that's playing against should or Sanders. And
while the Niners have been banged up, should still only
throw one touchdown. He did have an interception. They've been
sacking the quarterback much this year, so the upside is

(31:21):
they haven't sacked the quarterback much this year, so the
upside is capped there. But we're expecting a low scoring
Browns offense with the opportunity for turnovers and the third
defense here. I don't know how crazy you are about
this pick, Dan, because Ian is also suggesting the Dolphins.
They're rostered in six percent of leagues and they've got

(31:42):
the Saints and Tyler Shuck. Now, the Dolphins defense has
been quietly improved recently, only giving up thirteen points to
each of their last two opponents. That includes the Bills
this week. They're coming off of a bye, so they've
had extra prep time, and Shuck didn't take many sacks
prior to last week, but the Falcons got to five
times last week, so hopefully the Dolphins can continue to

(32:04):
do that. So I think that that is a decent play.
I think there's potential that that game could go a
different way. And I do want to know what your
thoughts aren't that.

Speaker 3 (32:16):
Well, it's a perfect segue, Ryan Burchagarette's why you are
a great teammate.

Speaker 1 (32:19):
I am flying in the face of that.

Speaker 3 (32:22):
The only reason I am doing so is because when
I give a points to Palooza, I do not take
the highest over unders of the week. I think that's
a cop out that's too easy to do. And on Thursday,
two of the three games have an over under a
fifty two and a half. It's the Chiefs, Cowboys, Bengals,
and Ravens. Heck, the Packers and Lions is forty seven
and a half as an over under. So I'm just

(32:44):
I'm staying away from Thursday games. So I'm gonna look
at the slate on Sunday, and why not. The slate
on Sunday less appealing than what we're going to get
on Thanksgiving. Nothing near approaching fifty two and a half,
even the forty seven and a half. The Bills and
Steelers are at forty six and a half. But I'm
gonna go with Saints and Dolphins only because I think

(33:06):
it's two underwhelming football teams, one more.

Speaker 1 (33:10):
Than the other.

Speaker 3 (33:11):
And for as underwhelming as the Saints are, maybe there's
a bit of a bounce back for how bad they
were against Atlanta.

Speaker 1 (33:18):
Maybe the Dolphins.

Speaker 3 (33:19):
Come out and move the ball offensively but are a
little sluggish defensively. So I'm going to go points of
palooza Saints Dolphins. It's a bit of a reach as
the over under is only forty two and a half,
but hopefully we can see some action in.

Speaker 1 (33:34):
South Florida on the scoreboard.

Speaker 3 (33:36):
My Survivor pick of the week, I think you're gonna
see a lot of Dolphins picks Bush. They're a six
point favorite. Not everybody has taken the Dolphins. When you
have the Saints coming to town, you can take advantage
of it. But we're also in a unique week. I
know the big circa Survivor pool. As you take two
picks this week, you got to pick the early winner

(33:58):
from the early games. Then you'll pick the game on
Sunday and Monday. I'm not gonna do that, but I
am going to tell you this. I am going with
the Chargers in my pool. With the Raiders coming to town.
I still have the Chargers. You may still have the
Chargers available. I've stayed away since Joe Alt has been
up and down, and now that we are now that
we know that he's completely out, I've still stayed away

(34:20):
from the Chargers. But they have to beat the Raiders.
There's no way that they can lose that football game.
So my pick is going to be the Chargers. But
when you're talking about coin flips, the Dolphins over the
Saints isn't a coin flip. So I think you're going
to see a lot of teams taking the Dolphins in
that contest. And another game that has about a six
point spread six and a half point spread that I
would actually stay away from is Jacksonville in Tennessee. I

(34:43):
don't know if the Titans are going to win many
more football games this season, but they are going to
win one. And I still am trying to convince myself
that Jacksonville is good. And is Jacksonville eight and four good?
I don't know if they are, And that's enough for
me to stay away from a divisional opponent with the

(35:04):
road team being the favorite. So I would stay away
from Jacksonville against Tennessee even though it seems like a
prime opportunity to use them Falcons at the Jets. That's
a little bit more my style, where I could see
bejeonn Robinson and Tyler Ljeer having their way even without
Drake London. I know the Falcons got a nice win
against the Saints, and maybe momentum isn't there thing, But

(35:26):
if I was looking at more of the fifty to
fifty risk, I would rather go with either the Dolphins
over the Saints or the Falcons over the Jets, as
opposed to picking the Jaguars against the Titans.

Speaker 4 (35:36):
Perfect, perfect, beautiful. I fully agree with those because I
think that there's a that Saints Dolphins game does feel
like it could actually get out of hand. This feels
like a situation where the Saints offense could actually, you know,
the surprise people, I guess. I think that this is
a this is a good opportunity for that here.

Speaker 3 (35:57):
And here's my point with the Titans. So last week,
I don't think they were really in the game against
the Seahawks. They just were never out of it, and
they actually scored late and had chance to get in
on sidekick, and if they were they could have they
were down six at the time, but the week before
they played the Titans tough. The week prior to that,
the Chargers left with a twenty seven to twenty victory.

(36:20):
So they've played some pretty good teams, pretty tough at least,
you know, it's been competitive, and at some point they're
gonna get a win. They do have the Saints on
the schedule later on, They've got the Browns coming up
next week. But I think the Titans will probably win
another game this season, so why not have it be
in Week thirteen. I'm not telling they pick the Titans
in your Survivor Bull It's not what I'm saying. I'm

(36:42):
just saying that there's enough of a question on why
maybe you wouldn't pick Jacksonville. Plus Bursch, I know it's
a shorter trip for Jacksonville, but it's also back to
back road games for the Jaguars after playing in Arizona
last week, So you got a trip out west, then
you come back home, and now you got another travel situation.
So maybe that could be working against Jacksonville, who's winners

(37:04):
of three of their last four. But that would be
the reason why I would just stay away from that game.

Speaker 4 (37:08):
Oh that makes sense.

Speaker 3 (37:09):
Yeah, I think you're going to see people load up
on Jacksonville and that'll be fine. If they move on,
more kudos to them. But my suggestion if you got
the Chargers, obviously take him against the Raiders, but Falcons
and Dolphins would be my other survivor picks. So that's
going to do it for this edition of I Want
Your Flax again, just to this week, so this will
last year through the Thanksgiving holiday. The crew will be

(37:30):
back after Week thirteen. Mike will have hopefully some new
equipment that actually isn't fried to the bone from all
the broadcasts that he's done on that. Ian'll be back
from his vacation and bursh You can just sit back
and you take it all in and look at your
analysis and soak it in Week thirteen because it's winning time.

(37:50):
Playoffs are just around the corner. Fun time in fantasy football.

Speaker 4 (37:53):
That's right, that's right. I am hoping that Thanksgiving is
not ruined by fantasy football, but rather than football lifts
up because I've had a handful of Thanksgivings that were
fantastic and a handful of Thanksgivings that were dragged down
because of poor fantasy performances. But you know what, it's fine.
We just need to the one thought I have to
get out there. Week fourteen byes are terrible and that

(38:17):
needs to end. I understand you want to give every
team a game Thanksgiving week. That's fine, it's fair. Then
just have more buys in week twelve. Okay, Week fourteen byes, Okay,
there's no way in hell I'm gonna make the playoffs
with Christian McCaffrey on by next week. Okay, they just
can't do it now, So thanks a lot, NFL get
rid of the Week fourteen bye.

Speaker 3 (38:39):
How about the whack two team by in week eleven? Yes, right, Sat, No,
everybody else is playing. No, no, you've got to play,
don't you two? Go ahead and take off.

Speaker 4 (38:50):
That's that's fine, and I'm sure the players hate it too,
like that is such a late bye in the season.
And there's either one of two ways. Either A they're
looking at it like they didn't get a break for
so long and they're playing other teams. I've gotten rest,
or other teams are jealous because they get to rest
closer to the postseason. Either way, it's not fair.

Speaker 3 (39:07):
Here's the conundrum that the NFL faces if you want
to have a week fourteen bye, you can't give it
to all good teams who probably need it, like heading
into the stretch run like that would honestly, you would
think that would be ideal. Then the final four, you know,
three or four weeks of the season, they're fresh, they're
ready to go. But you can't put four really bad

(39:28):
teams and grete we don't know who's good and who's
bad at the beginning of the year anyway, because their
season's going to end in three or four weeks anyway.
So what's the point of having a buy for those
crappy teams in week fourteen? I think it just lends
to the point of maybe just don't have them at all.

Speaker 4 (39:41):
Yes, yes, please come on all.

Speaker 3 (39:43):
Right, point take and rant approved by Ryan Berschinger.

Speaker 1 (39:46):
That's gonna do it.

Speaker 3 (39:48):
Enjoy your Thanksgiving for Ryan Bershinger, Mike carmon Ian Roddy,
I'm Dan Byer. We always are thankful that you listen
to I want your flags and can't wait to talk
to you again.
