(00:25):
now airing in Philadelphia, So I don't want this to
be an indication of like we're bad luck. So what's up, Philly?
Kid me my condolences. I love Philly, I love my
armored people in Philly. In Philly here, they are just kidding.
I love my cheese steaks. I'm from Jersey, Rocky Statues. Rich.
We would take trips there from Jersey.

Speaker 2 (00:45):
We've been on the Gambler there, but they get like
an hour. Now they get both hours, so it's double
torture for the Philly.

Speaker 1 (00:51):
Yeah, got out to Philly. Sorry you had a tough night.
We're happy to be there. Shout out to all the

Rich's Big TV Game of the week. We'll get you
ready for the weekend and weekend hobnobbing what you need

(01:12):
to watch in the world of sports and entertainment again, hoo,
can you want like we always do? Now? I know
yesterday we discussed who do you root for when your
team's out of it? You missed it. It's all on
the podcast. But to quote the great how He Rose
put it in the books, how He Rose put on
social media, and I agree with this. I don't care
who you root for, but if you can't find even

(01:35):
an ounce of compassion for Oriyan Kirkering, you are undoubtedly
devoid of a soul. How do you now feel a
little bit for that dude? Groundball back to him? Bobbles
it a little bit, And everyone on planet Earth, unfortunately
was like Bro, first base, base, first ice. Yeah, but Bro,

(01:56):
I mean, hey, one of the first things you learn,
even at a little league level, And not to rub
it in and add salt to the wounds here, but
it's to know, if the ball's hit to you, where
am I going with it? You do that before every
batter before every pitch thrown, if it's hit to me,
where am I going with it? How do you not know?
You're the guy? It's hit the moment and that's why

(02:17):
you gotta feel compassion. It's a high pressure moment. I
give him a hug too, if I could. I So
it's not easy, you know. I coach five and six
year olds, and before every play, I go all right,
oh wait, baseball already, mudcats, And then the kids will
look up and I go, you know where you're going
with the ball? That is honestly, it is you started
a T ball? Hey, little Dylan, Hey Phoenix, When you

(02:38):
get the ball, where are you going? Where's the play?

Speaker 3 (02:40):
Hey?

Speaker 1 (02:40):
It's first and second, you're playing third? Where are you going?
I could step on the base, yeah, like you know
what it is? I think it's that bobble and then
a quick panic moment the right now is it?

Speaker 3 (02:50):
Man?

Speaker 1 (02:50):
Danny g He did't even touch home plate. That was
the weird thing.

Speaker 2 (02:52):
Yeah, Ki Kim, rookie mistake. He had to come back
and step on the plate. But I was going to
ask you, Covino and not to bring up old wounds.
But how come we didn't feel this sort of compassion
or empathy for Aaron Judge when he misplayed that ball
in the outfield.

Speaker 1 (03:06):
I don't know I did. I hated that. I know
you did.

Speaker 2 (03:10):
But it feels like today the world feels for the
Phillies pitcher, but not so much for Aaron Judge, you
know my question.

Speaker 1 (03:16):
And that was his only error of the year.

Speaker 4 (03:19):
It was extra inning lud gates and unraveled the Dodgers
already up, Like, wasn't like two or three games and
nothing when that happened.

Speaker 2 (03:25):
A lot of people think that that led to the
Dodgers winning that World Series.

Speaker 1 (03:29):
Game it all unraveled. I agree, Sam, the stakes were
way higher, you know, Ty was it the World Series? Rich? Yeah,
but tigh game, extra innings, the run scores, the series
is over. Aaron Judge was like a middle of the
game era, like you know, just oh man, maybe because
it was a series of events and bad mistakes after
that and bad pitches and bad plays. Maybe that was
it and this was the in that moment took the

(03:52):
Phillies out. Yeah, this ended the game. So it seems
like it's on him and seeing in there with his
hands on his knees, like, oh man, there's some crazy visuals.
It's a current day thrill of victory and the agony
of defeat right before your very eyes. You see you
see the Dodgers celebrating and they're jumping up and down
on the field and you see him there, like you said,

(04:14):
Rich like, oh man, what just happened? I told you
just kind of look. I know it's just a game
and it's sports, but millions of people hearts on them
on the line. It really weighs heavy on these young men.
So you just really hope that they're mentally equipped to
deal with these things. Something like that is drastic and devastating.
You know shouldn't be, but it is. Hopefully you know,

(04:35):
he can move forward with it. They have been showing
a clip on social media when he made his debut
in the bigs. His dad was crying the whole time
in the stands, and he seems like a really good
young man. So it's like sort of a bummer. You
feel for him, so have a little compassion. But you
know what, my kids, I told you, I'm losing them
to the Dodgers. My kids. I can't expect him to

(04:57):
be lay mass met fans like me just because you
could because you're their dad. Yeah, but just because I
like Lindor and Soto and Polar Bear Pete, and I'm
you know, come on, Nemo, like, I can't expect my
kids to be a loser weenie like me clinging on
the Darryl Strawberry and Gary Carter's afro in eighty six.
You are the theotrich, the patriarch of the family. You

(05:19):
sort of set the president of We're a Mets family. Hey,
you're out here in LA if you want to go
to a few games and they're you're sort of secondary team,
I understand, But we're a Mets family. I think that's
something that you do do and I think you should
lean into harder. Then I think I have a fifty
to fifty split of dad. I like the Dodgers and
the Mets, and I'm like, I think I got to

(05:40):
accept that. My daughter wore a little Dodger's hat to
school today, and last night we went to go get
Smashburger's after baseball practice. Mash my kids are there, we're
watching the game. And when that happens, and I always
told you think it's corny, I think it's awesome. When
Randy Newman kicks in I love La after a Dodgers

(06:00):
win just sounds like naked gun. Oh and I see
my son like, yeah, I'm like, my son's five and six.
That's when I started loving the Mets. So I can't
expect him not to like the Dodgers. Dann Bayer, I will.

Speaker 5 (06:14):
Say this, think of the alternative, and the alternative isn't
him liking the Dodgers to liking the Mets. The alternative
is is that he doesn't care about sports. So your
daughter doesn't care at all about sports.

Speaker 1 (06:26):
That's my daughter. She didn't So at least you can
share it.

Speaker 5 (06:30):
Maybe a rivalry, you know, as they grow older, but
at least they're invested or involved in.

Speaker 1 (06:36):
A team at this point. That is true. I think
that's better than not. My kids know it means something
to me, and it sounds so ridiculous. But when we're
playing whiffle ball in the front yard, remember you would
do this, You would do the batting stances of the
different guys. My son's like, all right now, I'm Mookie Mets.
All right now, I'm polar Bear Pete. And now I'm like,
are you just doing that? Because you know Dad wants
you to. He's humoring you. You could be Freddy Freeman, buddy,

(06:59):
you could be growing up rich.

Speaker 2 (07:02):
You're not the only transplant facing this. Our boss was
there last night. He's a Minnesota guy, Minnesota fan. His
son was screaming and jumping up and down and celebrating
the moment.

Speaker 1 (07:14):
I got hit our boss, Scott Shapiro, because he is
a true sounds like sounds like the kids here are
little front runners.

Speaker 4 (07:21):
I'm growing up in a culture of winning in like championships,
and like, how are they not going to gravitate?

Speaker 3 (07:26):
Right?

Speaker 1 (07:27):
No? I know, but Rich, honestly, I mean, you're such
a Mets fan. I think you gotta just be a
not that you're not. I'm not saying it anyway because
Rich is, But you gotta lean a little harder and
maybe be a stronger influence. What if I went Hollywood,
Hogan and I'm like, nah, the Mets, and I'm all
of a sudden like that. Okay, No, Well, last night

(07:47):
was a hell of a hell of a baseball game.
And I guess that just a terrible night for Philadelphia.
Because the story doesn't end with you don't want to
lose that way. That's the thing I thought. The Dodgers
were gonna win anyway, but you don't want to lose
that way. And it was sad to see. And I
do want to give Kirkering a hug. Hug and how
do you do? It? Is just a game, But we've

(08:08):
seen a lot of pictures in that position that gave
things up, take things way hard and understandable. You ever
have a moment like that on a much smaller level.
Obviously we're not professional athletes, but you ever have that
sort of situation where you were the what used to
be called the goat before the goat was the goat,
You were the goat. You were the bad luck, right,

(08:30):
but not like never below the game. Truthfully, it sounds
ridiculous because I've never brought it up to you, No,
because think of how it hurts on the weakest of levels.
Can you imagine in some of the biggest moments ever,
how that must feel. My god, I've never brought this
up because it's it's such a lame example, but it

(08:52):
is true. You know, I play softball. I like being active.
When I played in Hoboken in my twenties and thirties,
we were in the final game and the third out
was like a like a you know when a line
drive's dying like like it's like it was hit to me.
And if I make the play games over, we win.
And the ball just died. I dove it went under

(09:14):
my glove and the other team won. And it was
probably a play I could have made. And that's reck softball.
And I remember, I mean I just mentioned that. Now
you remember those things that you never forget, So so
imagine that times a gazillion time. It actually matters, right,
you know, it's not easy being jazz chism right Kirkering
or any of those guys. It's really tough. These are young,

(09:34):
young young men and again they're I don't want to say,
a different breed of guy, but they're a lot more
sensitive than men used to be back in the day.
Back to your story, Rich, I remember playing in a
tournament out here in California at Loyola Marrymount College, playing outfield.
Came charging in and went right under my glove. We

(09:55):
were out of the tournament. So came from the East
coast to play in a West coast tournament out here.
Done because of my error, And that's again a stupid
against nineteen years old. So put in perspective. Remember that
put in perspective what this kid must be feeling. Because
if we're remembering stories, if you missed the game winning
shot in basketball, if you played high school football or
college football on you you know you threw a pick

(10:17):
to lose the state championship, those things bother you. Imagine
you're in the Major League Baseball playoffs and a comebacker
you bobble a little bit, and that's now. Until something
better in your career happens, you will be tied to
that unfortunate Truthfully, though, nobody ever forgets, ever forgets. So

(10:38):
you think you move on and move past it. Nobody
forgets because even at the weakest of levels, Like I said,
my dad still brings up the time I was pitching
like a little league championship in some little roly poly
kid made an error at third base, blew to hole. Yeah, man,
if little chubby as day would have called that ball,
you got that. He'll still bring that up. Man. I mean,

(11:01):
it's a grown ass man with kids in a family.
But if I saw me like Dave, you made that day,
blew it when we were ten years old, You blew
it for everybody.

Speaker 4 (11:09):
You never forget My sister, her husband, and their daughter,
and my niece live in Philadelphia. Huge Phillies fans, Huge
Eagles fans. My sister's been living there for like the
majority of her life, more so than she grew up
in Iowa, and she left for college at seventeen. She's
been living in Philly ever since. So it's been a
really rough week. So Saturday leading into Sunday, the Phillies

(11:30):
lose on Saturday, the Phillies lose on Sunday, then the
Eagles lose blow a two touchdown lead at last Sunday.
Then it's been a tough week of licking your wounds.
And then we get to Thursday and the Phillies are
out and the Eagles loo's again. So she's heartbroken right now.

Speaker 1 (11:44):
Like I said, there's tears in the cheese sticks. There's
a very salty cheese sticks cove.

Speaker 2 (11:48):
You referred to it at the beginning of the show
about Kim not stepping on the bat on home plate actually.

Speaker 1 (11:54):
Right on the final play, Yeah, the Dodgers one.

Speaker 2 (11:57):
After the are He got there just early, right, so
he had to come back and step on it after
the play. So what was worse the decision or the
throw because had the catcher been able to reach out
and glove it, he could have still got the out
because of how Kim missed the bag.

Speaker 1 (12:14):
That's right. Imagine if that happened, Imagine if the throw
was made, Kim is then the exactly that would have
been the weak. You know, for every great moment, keep
us in mind for every you know, moment that's terrible
for someone at someone else's great moment, and vice versa,
like for every doubt. You know, for every gets by Buckner.

(12:35):
You know, rounding third is night is a bruce. You know,
there's there's a Mookie Wilson who is the hero in
that moment for every for every time out the Fab
five in Michigan, you know, who is this someone that
benefits from that time? Is the picture for was this
Stanley or her? Who was it? Bob? Bob Stanley Hurst
was a starter, So it was Bob Stanley in Calvin
Shiraldi right in the pen back and then yes, back

(12:56):
in eighty six. So yeah, tough tough night. Again, there's
something to be happy about Philadelphia. You now have us
for two hours. Look at that, and uh, you know what,
I want to be the first to say this because
I know he's a Rich Davis guy. Good luck to
your brewers tomorrow night, Dan Byer. Oh yeah, thank you,
thank you very much, Rich Davis. I appreciate it. Can
you know what's going to be like? You know baseball?

(13:17):
He wouldn't even have you know, No, No, he's a
Rich Days guy. For this week. He's prisoner of the moment,
much like everybody is about the New York Football Giants. Okay,
let's get in time. I feel about it, Dan, Rich
is great and small doses. You'll be sick of them
by by next week. Crusting it. I was gonna say,
I've actually got some bad news for Rich. Yeah. Can
I have a breaking news stage or please? Sam?

Speaker 6 (13:39):
Yeah?

Speaker 1 (13:40):
I hate to do this to my guy. Breaking news
from Fox Sports.

Speaker 5 (13:44):
The Niners have ruled out Rock Party and Ricky Piersoll
for Sunday's game against the Buccaneers. So maybe expected, but sorry, Bud,
you know I had to deliver the bad news.

Speaker 1 (13:55):
But is going to miss another game? You know what? Max?
A little banged up? Three? And oh what have it? Four? No,
Mac Jones, let's keep the magic alive. So bad and
I believe Juwan Jennings, I believe is back. So I'm
going to be positive, Dan Bier as a part of
your Rich that's excited to see if mac Jones could
still bring that magic and still be a force. I
think I'm you excited to see what he could do.
It's a good problem to have. And you know what,

(14:16):
if you want to call it a push, Dan Byer,
I'm positive Dickey today. Oh no, pure salt. But is
in uh Mike Evans out? Yes, yes he is. Well,
there you go. It's a little Vegas push. You're at
a wide receiver, so were we. I'm getting a feeling
is that still going to be Rich's big TV game
of the week. We'll find out. But last night you
just said this is a prisoner of the moment thing.
Let's talk last night because when when you're done watching

(14:38):
the Dodgers Phillies, oh right to Amazon Prime, let's go.
And it was exciting, dude. I haven't seen this much
excitement for the Giants since I don't know if since
the nineties maybe honestly, and I know it's just one night,
but I feel like you gotta do it a few
more times before I start believe in it. It was
on a big stage Thursday night, football against your Super

(15:01):
Bowl champions against the Eagles. Big rivalry, right, so think
about it. I'm an East Coast kid. We've putted it
out this week. I don't have a team other than
the Yankees because when I was a kid, you made
a stupid choice, Like I like the Cowboys, right, but
I didn't get the chance to watch the Cowboys every week.
I like the forty nine ers, didn't get the chance

(15:21):
to watch forty niners. So I grew up around a
lot of Giants fans. I went to Giants games, but
I never really liked them. I didn't really get into them.
I wasn't a Mark Bavaro kind of guy, but I
remember you were a Mark Bavaro mullet type. I wasn't
a film a coonkie kind of dude, a shocky kind
of guy. As yours went on, But then they started

(15:43):
to win. In the Eli Manning days, well I had
some exciting moments. I think, what you're what you're what
you're getting at is interesting because well, Eli did win
two Super Bowls. They were unexpected and Eli's a great dude,
but he's not this Uh. They didn't bring the excitement
he doesn't bring that. They did the kids still say
riz no.

Speaker 4 (16:00):
But remember a lot of times Eli Mannings Giants team
were like nine to seven, just skating into or you know,
just barely get into the playoffs, and then they go
on a run.

Speaker 1 (16:08):
And Sam not to like sound means galore. You can't
spell elite without Eli. And he is a Hall of Famer. Okay,
not trying to take anything away from him. He beat
Tom Brady the guys g yeah, twice, but there was
nothing cool about him. He never like reeled me in
as a fan.

Speaker 4 (16:23):
It was Eli would make some clutch plays, they had
a good running game, and they would rely on their defense.

Speaker 1 (16:27):
Yeah, all the props in the world. Not trying to
say anything bad about him, but you know, I just
never was a big fan. My uncle Bill a huge
Giants fan. My friends were Giants fans. Last night, I
feel like I witnessed something that could pull in so
many young fans, including this guy, because I was like, Wow,
this is electric. I haven't seen the Giants shining this

(16:47):
bright in years, even when they were winning. I know
what you're saying, because if you take away the Eli moments,
because well, like I believe Dan Patrick said it this week,
someone here on Fox Sports Radio said this week, you
take away that Tyree moment, He's not a champion in
that case. Is he a Hall of Famer? So his
fault his Hall of And again I don't know if

(17:07):
it was DP. I think it was. If he doesn't
make that catch, what does that say about Eli? And
then the other Super Bowl of Wes Welker catches out
wide old the past. I get it, but these are
what ifs. But I think the bigger picture is while
Eli Manning is a you know, likely a future Hall
of Famer, he's the guy I think no doubt to
be honest, because he did it. But there was nothing
because those years they didn't win. Though. It's not like

(17:30):
the Giants were twelve and four every year and oh
they won twice. They were like average and those two
years were the anomalies. They were years where the Giants
were mediocre with Eli. So it wasn't like uh Drew
Brees for the Saints where every year they were good
but they only got it done once. This is a
team that was min They like reached up, they out
they outperformed. Yes, and thinking about Giants are still only

(17:53):
two and four, and that's the good I was completely
glued to what was going on yesterday. But please let
it be clear as to what I'm saying. What happened
last night appeared to be real, It was electric, it
was exciting. You had Scataboo ripping his shirt off like
he was Jhulkamania last night on Thursday Night Football, Amazon Prime.

(18:16):
But I am saying, in the same breath rich, although
it was real and it was exciting, and man, they
seem to be like a must watch team. Now it's
still only one game, and I need more to believe it.
I think you can say a prisoner of the moment, right.
I think what you're gonna see is a young, talented
raw duo. And I think the funniest part that came

(18:38):
out of last night is while we know camp Scataboo
and while we know Jackson Dart, I think last night Primetime,
Thursday Night Football put this duo on display like we
didn't know what they were. Like Bros at Head mutted
and we didn't know that. Uh oh man, you know
camp Scatabuu choose so sunflat er s He's louder than anyone,
and they're they're silly together. You're getting all the backstories

(19:00):
it was like this weird coming out party where it's
like WHOA hold on, like almost like an album release,
Like here's camp Scatamu and Jackson Dart, your new dynamic duo. Right.
I think the world got introduced to them last night,
and they're hard to not Like you see all the
Giants fans. It's not just us. I think everybody's prisoner

(19:21):
of the moment, because I believe it was Dart that
said it. These New York Football Giant fans are starving
for a winning team, starving for a new quarterback, starving
for someone to cheer for. And you see them scatter
boo Scotta, boo Scott. They're looking for a hero and
right now he's the guy and he flips dude, he's
running people over. And Jackson darts like good looking mom

(19:45):
and the cool dad or that right, you know, right
by the stage afterwards. Everything about this dynamic duo was
on display last night. And I was against the Eagles,
so but it makes it even more special. But I
will say this, I'm not saying we're prisoners of the moment.
I know you saying that. I am. They're young and
raw with all this explosive talent. There are gonna be

(20:06):
weeks with his turnovers, sloppy play, injuries because they both
play sort of reckless, Danny, you and I were talking
about that before. They they're equally like wild, right, So.

Speaker 2 (20:15):
Yeah, yeah, Jackson Dart has kind of take taken Cam's
approach to the game where he's diving and he's he's
knocking helmets and you don't want your quarterback in that
position too often. And then Tay tweeted one of our
listeners said, I love how Cam shakes his head out
on every play winning sprints head first through someone, because

(20:36):
if you react like that, like you have a concussion
on every play, then they'll never realize when you actually
do have ones.

Speaker 1 (20:43):
That that's true. They bring the juice, as was stated
last night, and that juice and that excitement is contagious.
So it's exciting to see what happens and it's definitely
fun to watch. And does it now not surprise you
at all that Jackson Darts and number one selling jersey
and football now, Oh no, I told to get after
last night. I think the world gets it. We're not
the only ones. Props to them. Rich A question for you,

(21:06):
were there more consecutive Toush pushes last night, or more
touchdowns by Camp scattaba, Oh what is that push? Right?
That more more Toush pushes? Yes? Yes, for four consecutive
Toush pushes to Camp's three tds last night. That's wild.
That is kind of wild. Man four in a row.

(21:27):
That seemed a little much. I saw Michael Parsons tweeted
like this isn't football, Like people are getting really fed
up with the Toush push. Yeah.

Speaker 5 (21:33):
I saw someone also say like, why couldn't they do
this twenty plays in a row. It's like, well, it's
because they only get a yard Like they would have
to punt on fourth down because it would be fourth
and sixth.

Speaker 1 (21:44):
It was in fourth and sixth.

Speaker 5 (21:46):
It was the situation where they were short yardage at
you know, within the five, so then they got the
first down and then we're close enough to do it
twice to get into the.

Speaker 1 (21:56):
Man four in a row. It's like that SpongeBob episode
with SpongeBob split his pants and he's like, I split
my pants and everyone laughed. Ah, but then he kept
saying it and it wasn't funny anymore, and he kept
leaning into that same joke, like how many times are
you gonna lean into that push push in a row?
Like don't you pull that out for special occasions? It's

(22:17):
it's a part of the usual mix. Tirerack dot Comway
tire buying should be. We got Danny G super producing
getting ready for our new game. Brain Waves will be
giving away prizes your chance to win later on Plus
Iowa Sam on the ones and Tuesdadan Byer's on your
updates spots on the video we're streaming live on YouTube.

(22:38):
Covino and rich FSR. So do we look at your
handsome today? There's brand new cameras. I know, I don't know.
Let us know how we look. I was supposed to
get a haircut. That's a whole other story. We could
see your name. Oh she's great, Covino and rich FSR.
Our new cameras are new setup and be a part
of it. You could also chat live Danny G. You

(22:58):
can't say anything without my aid blazing. So twenty second story,
Oh boy, I remember for some reason, do you remember
the baseball player Jorge Kent too? Oh yeah, played around
the league for quite a while. I remember there was
a story back in the day where He was all offended,
and rightfully so, because he was one of those guys
that he could tell had acne back in the day.

(23:19):
So you know there's some scarring on some guys, right,
One of the dudes on Love is Blind, you could
tell that's scarring. His bobblehead had scarring on his face.
Like did They couldn't even give the guy a break,
So Jorge Can'tu's bobblehead had a bunch of I used
to have pimple marks. Imagine being a kid in getting
that like, we don't want this, that's our You got
a bumpy ass face. Yeah, it's a little kid like, mom,

(23:41):
why is this face? I guess? Come on, well, anyway,
that is a story that I remember as well. Rich
We're Cavino and Rich at Covino Rich on social media.
Take it back to the first time you were introduced
to this dynamic duo, Jackson darr and Scataboo. We saw
Skataboo get after, we saw him in tears, him and

(24:03):
his family watching it, and we knew it was going
to mean a lot to the guy to play for
the Giants. We saw Jackson Dart's family last night after
the game, and you see that relationship that he has
with his parents and how much it means to them
because he's a good boy and he works so hard
and they're excited to see their dreams come true. We
found out that when Dart and Scataboo met for the

(24:24):
first time, they exchanged three words and then bumped heads
gave each other a headbutt. He saw Skataboo scored three
touchdowns Thursday night football rush for I think ninety eight yards,
knocking people down. We saw him ripping his shirt off,
chest bumping Fitzpatrick last night. It was on a big sting.

(24:46):
It was a night where you were like, wait, they've
always had this relationship and we just found out about
it now, Like, you're right, Cavino's not lying when he said,
Jackson Dart, to quote Jackson Dart, you're number one selling jersey,
number six New York Giants. The first time I met
camp Scautabo, we said three words to each other and
then just headwooded. That was the kind of that was

(25:07):
kind of like the start of a relationship. It really
was the feeling of a coming out party. We all
got introduced to this dynamic duo at the same time
on a big night did you see what Dante Miller
the Giant said in reference to camp Scautivo. I've never
seen someone chee seeds louder, he eats loud. He's not normal. Right,

(25:29):
You're getting all these backstories, you know, you're getting to
learn about the relationship. And you saw them really bring
it against the Eagles thirty four seventeen. It was an
electric game. Maybe vibes were just up last night. Maybe
you're baseball teams out of it, so you're just looking
to tune into something exciting. And you know there's something

(25:50):
about the very little expectation that the Giants have now,
so these moments mean more. Maybe for a New York
Football Giants team, this is a very uplifting moment for
the team. One more quote from Cam Scataboo's mom, Becky Scattabu.
Becky Scannaboo. When he was a kid, Cam would put
on his brother's shoulder pads and run into telephone Polese,
I'm not surprised. Guy's a maniac. And like I said,

(26:12):
him and Jackson dart if winning are going to be
the most exciting duo. But there will be games where
there there might be injuries, recklessness, interceptions, fumbles, but they
they play that style of games, so you're good. It's
not gonna all be sunshine of rainbows. But last night
we went by it. But yes, was freaking awesome. It
really really, I'm not going to Giants fan. It was
just fun to watch same same You could appreciate the

(26:35):
chemistry and the juice. They kept using the word the
juice last night, the juice that these guys are bringing
to the team because that juice much like negative chemistry,
that positive chemistry is contagious. So that's what the team needed.
It was fun to see. But we're gonna get to
your phone calls because the question is this is it legit,
is it real? Or are we prisoners of the moment.

(26:57):
I think I think one thing we could all agree
on is we're definitely watching again to see I think
the I think, much like Baker Mayfield, has won most
of us over at this point. Yeah, I think the
casual fanser the diehard and casual fan answer Danny g
You're a Raiders guy, but I think we may get
to the point where you're like, well, besides the Raiders,
any guys you root for. I think Jackson Darty camp

(27:17):
scouted who might be a pretty good answer for folks.

Speaker 2 (27:19):
Well, this has been painful for me to watch Covino.
You know why, what was I talking about leading up
to the NFL draft of screaming at Christmas time?

Speaker 1 (27:28):
Yeah? Yeah, Danny G. Dart was screaming about Dart for
a long time. As a Raiders fan wanted I.

Speaker 2 (27:34):
Wanted the Raiders to draft back into the bottom of
the first round and get Dart to back up Gino Smith.
And if that had been the case right now, Vegas
fans would have been screaming for Dart and Dart would
have probably got the start coming up this Sunday.

Speaker 1 (27:48):
Well, it looks like the Giants got exactly what they needed,
which is a solid starting quarterback that's getting everybody excited.
We'll get to your phone calls in a minute, but
we got Dan Bayer on standby. What's up?

Speaker 5 (28:00):
Thinking about other quarterbacks in the NFL? Niners quarterback Brock
Purty out week six as his Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson.
He missed his third straight practice today because of his
hamstring strain. Cardinals quarterback Kyler Murray questionable to face the Colts.
The good news with Murray as Arizona got him on
the practice field today after missing the first two workouts
this week because of his foot injury. Shandor Sanders will

(28:21):
be the backup in Cleveland. The Browns rookie quarterback will
back up fellow rookie Dylan Gabriel in their Week six
matchup against the Steelers on Sunday.

Speaker 1 (28:34):
I think I figured it out, Danny J. That song
kicks in sometimes when the play isn't even over, Like
let's say the Dodgers gonna hit a game winning hit
the guy. Do you just like corny sounding songs, but
like the guy will be rounding third and all of
a sudden you hear and I don't know, I just
you know, I think something happy and corny about it.

(28:54):
It sounds like it belongs to a montage with Leslie Nielsen.
I mean it is. I mean, but I'm saying that's
an makes me think of it? Well, No, I just
think there'd something special about her. Maybe I like Los
Angeles a little bit. Maybe I'm a mild Dodgers fan.
And if you're listening, maybe like maybe I like a
one percent we're listening to. I love LA. That wasn't

(29:15):
Randy Newman cheesy song. I get it, but I didn't
know they played at the end of every Lakers game
as well. It's a fun song, for sure, it's a
fun song, but Rich keeps playing it. Are you trying
to justify your fandom and blame it on your kids
when you're the guy that's feeling la which is understandable.
You've been out here over ten years. Now we're live
Los Angeles, Cavino and Rich, and we're gonna take your

(29:38):
phone calls. So, Hank Tyer, we're talking giants, New York
Football giants, which is crazy because my take is simply this,
we are prisoners of the moment. Last night was exciting.
You know, I think Philadelphia had a really rough day yesterday.
Sorry Philly, I know you know I've had a rough week.
You're you're eliminated from baseball six days. You lost two
in a row in the NFL. But there is a

(30:00):
part of me that thinks Scatterboo and Dart being so
exciting and like, what is what happened last night? I
thought the story today would be what's happening to the Eagles,
But I think the story today is more like man
Jackson Darden, He's gotta makes it cool, Rich. Not only
did they play big on a big stage, but they
seem like wild guys. They're like like a wild duo. Yeah,
two wild, young, wild dudes with swag in a world

(30:24):
where everyone's boring as hell. We talked about this all
the time. You'll see a rookie debut in baseball. He'll
walk back to the dougout after a great start. He
wanted to even tip his house to the crowd. Just
head down and every guy. Mac Jones played his ass
off with my Niners like a week ago. Remember on
that Primetime Thursday night game. The guy's pants are falling down.
They almost got you know, felt like he was getting
pummeled on the field afterwards, just like, hey, you know,

(30:45):
just doing a job. But these guys show some level
of excitement we haven't seen in a minute. I got
the Rockers out there for the New York Football Science Cave.

Speaker 2 (30:53):
You know how many times do you need to see
this new dynamic duo succeed. Remember even though they lost
to the Saints, they came out the gates hot in
that game until all the turnovers.

Speaker 1 (31:03):
Yeah, I think Rich hit it on the head before. Actually,
when he said that they're gonna have a down week,
but they will probably come back again and excite you
because they're going to live by it and die by it.
So I think if we keep our expectations realistic, we
know that as young players who were wild like this
and they're playing in a wild style of game, yeah

(31:25):
they're going to have their weak failures and their weak moments,
but it's part of the growing process. They got something
going on. Coincidentally, they remind me as a duo of
one of their teammates who gave a motivational speech last night.
You know, the whole world of Jamis Winston where one
day he in his primoe days, was giving up four
picks and then the next game he's still for five
hundred yards and yeah, it's gonna be hot and cold,

(31:48):
but last night they were hot. We're live from the
Fox Sports Radio studio and before we get to the
phone calls, is time for our tire IRAQ play of
the day, the bobbled ball by Kirkering that should have
went to first base. Ah, people are still buzzing about it.
Heart rates through the roof the oh one pitch PA
has grounds it back to Kirkery.

Speaker 7 (32:08):
We can't find it gets those home Pit's why ten
stores and the Dodgers are going to the Championship Series.
Fire a works, go walk in center field. The Dodgers
selling right here first.

Speaker 1 (32:23):
Base on our ground balls. Back to the picture.

Speaker 7 (32:26):
Andy po has somehow gets the job done.

Speaker 1 (32:31):
All I hear is Randy Newman. That's all I heard
in that whole club. Hey, that's your tirect play courtesy
of a five seventy Dodgers audio network. That was the
Tiract play of the day And for over forty years,
Tireck's been helping customers find the right tires for how,
what and where they drive. Ship fast and free back
by free Road has a protection convenient options like mobile
tyre installation tirack dot com. The way tire buying should be, Hey,

(32:53):
Danny g. When your team moves forward, but they move
forward on a weak ass play on an error by
the team, does it take away or you don't even care?

Speaker 2 (33:03):
Yeah, honestly, there was really good pitching in that game. Obviously,
Uh you know the game prior where the Phillies had
a couple of home runs and knocked Kershaw around. You
could question some of the Dodgers pitching in that game.
But overall, great pitching in that series, and so there
weren't a lot of rallies. You have to just savor
whatever came across home plate.

Speaker 5 (33:23):
Put an asterisk by it. Yeah, this one right there.
The Dodgers phony championships.

Speaker 2 (33:31):
And if your Brewers have a chance to win like
that tomorrow, I'm sure you'll take it.

Speaker 7 (33:34):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (33:35):
Well, listen, pogees or as my daughter calls him, pages,
you mean you mean pothead, pothead? So hey, big moment
he escaped. You mean he had a d a comebacker
into the pitchers. Now, but that in any other circumstances
he failed.

Speaker 2 (33:48):
And Otani's been so cold. He got bailed out by
being intentionally walked. Because some of those pitches that Bets took,
I bet you Otani would have swung.

Speaker 1 (33:56):
Then let's say, how to Pete in Tacoma? Pete, what's
going on?

Speaker 8 (34:00):
What's up?

Speaker 3 (34:01):
Brother?

Speaker 1 (34:02):
Hey?

Speaker 3 (34:02):
You guys are awesome. I FM love you.

Speaker 8 (34:04):
Listen to you.

Speaker 1 (34:05):
Guys, Thanks man, thanks man, you.

Speaker 2 (34:07):
Make you make my day.

Speaker 5 (34:08):
I listened to you every day.

Speaker 9 (34:10):
Your whole crew awesome, awesome.

Speaker 3 (34:13):
I got a couple of things.

Speaker 8 (34:14):
Mariners. I think they're gonna take it.

Speaker 1 (34:17):
I think they're not afraid of Scooble, I don't think so.

Speaker 3 (34:22):
But I am afraid of the Blue Jays.

Speaker 1 (34:26):
They have a great style of baseball. You're going to
see it. They just they battle, battle, battle, every yet
back tonight. This is this the biggest game in thirty
years in Seattle. I mean that ninety five. I'm thinking
that because they made a couple of runs since. But
this is a big one. This is a big one
tonight in Seattle. So we'll see what happens. Let's say,
how to leam in Vegas real quick? What's up? Liam? Hi?

Speaker 8 (34:45):
Guys. First of all, I don't know if you saw
last night post game, but during the West Wind one
interview of cap Scada, they tried him and Jackson tried
to head but that was hilarious.

Speaker 1 (34:59):
Yeah, heads there. So there's something about him, but you
gotta love it. Yeah, there's something really entertaining about him.

Speaker 8 (35:05):
Yeah, it's very fun as a Giants fans. But honestly,
I think if we can win against the Broncos, we
can beat the Eagles again.

Speaker 1 (35:14):
Let me tell you this. I don't think your expectation
should be anything this year. But Cowherd said the best.
The Herd here on Fox Sports Radio. Giants fans, you
got a couple players to now build around. This is
the hardest thing to find your franchise quarterback. It looks
like you got him. Polish him up a little bit,
build around him, and the Giants have something. That's the key.

(35:34):
You gotta get a guy like Dart fan favorite, plays
with balls, he's he's a good dude. So hey, congratch Giants,
it's time for Riches Big TV Game of the week.
Let's do it. You should hear my setup. I got
an extra TV.

Speaker 4 (35:50):
The game game that I will have Rich's big TV
Game of the week.

Speaker 3 (35:55):
It's Rich's Big TV Game of the week.

Speaker 1 (36:00):
Well, every week in the NFL, you gotta make decisions
what games to wadron, who to put in your fantasy lineup?
And by the way, Guillotine League, damn buyer Dallas Goddard.
I knew when we did those o Tesla commercials that
guy would come up clutch for me. Did you see
last night? Yeah? Over one hundred yards, a touchy, huge game.
When we started this week, Not that anyone cares about

(36:23):
someone else's fantasy team, but I was towards the bottom,
like ooh, I might be on the borderline brink of
elimination this week if I don't make some changes. You know,
I'm like three out of fourteen.

Speaker 5 (36:32):
Now nine catches touchdown last night.

Speaker 1 (36:35):
Yoh, that's my dude right there, Dallas Goddter and he
has a beautiful girlfriend. So I'm a big fan Dallas
godd But you gotta make decisions every Sunday. What game
are you gonna watch? What gets the four games split
on a TV? What gets its own TV? If you
wheel in an extra TV, which is what I do,
we decide the game of the week. Do you want

(36:56):
to start with the early games? Let's do it. I
mean Broncos Jets are on it six thirty am. Is
that a game good enough for you to even wake
up on the West coast as six thirty. Now on
the East Coast, you're waking up at nine thirty having
that coffee, that bacon, egg and cheese. But Danny, you
wake it up at six in the morning for Broncos
Jets are You're gonna be like, I'll catch it at halftime.

Speaker 2 (37:14):
I'll have it on in the background because, as you know,
I do the fifth hour with Ben Maler, so I'll
be awake us working folk.

Speaker 1 (37:20):
Yeah, that guy better pay you more. Said, now we're
waking you up at five in the morning on a Sunday.
He pays me in Clippers tickets again, he bet again.
I think that's a I think that's a demotion. Yeah,
Broncos Jets, that's your early game overseas, so everyone will
check that out because that's the only game. Now, let's
go to the early games. You early set Browns at Steelers. Yeah, no,

(37:43):
no thanks on that one. Chargers Dolphins.

Speaker 4 (37:48):
I think that's a trap game for the Chargers, by
the way, you think so, yeah, because they're they're beat
up going across country and they are they're I think
a slight favorite.

Speaker 1 (37:57):
I what do they call it, Miami Flu Chargers are
three and a half the hook there the half a
point Chargers or a field goald and a half Patriots Saints.
You know, it should be interesting to see if this
Patriots team continues to play. Well, they're three and two.
You beat up on the Saint for four and two,
and just like that, the Patriots that you know, they're
in the mix. So I think that's a game to

(38:18):
keep an eye on. Doesn't get the big TV. You know,
I would have thought the Rams that the Ravens gets
the big TV, but no Lamar and the Ravens playing
the way they do, that could be a blowout. The
Rams might whoop their ass. So I don't even know
if that gets the Big TV Cards and Colts. The
Colt could keep rolling. I don't think it gets the
big TV Panthers, Cowboys. Nah, Dan Byer, You're more than

(38:40):
welcome to come over because my Big TV is going
to be your game. Seahawks, Seahawks and Jags. That's a game,
and it's a really big test for ball teams right
because the Seahawks are three and two. They want to
stay really competitive in this division. With the forty nine
Ers and the Rams, everyone sort of in that same
little mix right now. Jacksonville coming off a big week.
Jacksonville has beaten the forty nine ers in Kansas City

(39:03):
back to back. This would be a statement game for
Liam Cohen and Trevor Lawrence and everyone. So if the
game is in Florida, you're going across the country.

Speaker 5 (39:13):
I think it's a great game considering what happens with
your Niners. The Seahawks can't afford to lose any more
ground in the NFC. West, and if you're the Jaguars,
you would think like, oh, four and one is great.

Speaker 1 (39:24):
But the Colts are rolling.

Speaker 5 (39:25):
The Texans seem to have kind of turned it around
now that division is much more of a log jam,
so you got to win those home games.

Speaker 1 (39:31):
If you're Jacksonville and other than Arizona sort of falling
off a little bit. It's early, but there's a little
bit of a log jam with the Niners, Seahawks, and
Rams because any given week they could all be tied
up again. So a very interesting game. I think all
eyes in the early games. Yeah, I don't think there's
any questions on that big screen tcl Covino Jags hosting

(39:55):
damn Byer Seattle Seahawks now later in the day, So
that means on your big TV, we could see Trevor
Lawrence picking his nose again. Oh yeah in HD perfect
eighty five inches. Yeah, we later in the day Titans Raiders. Danny,
I know you'll be watching that because you're just die hard.
But that's like, that's a game that I don't know
who's gonna be watching other than you and Tom Brady,

(40:15):
and he might not even because he's probably calling another game.
Bengals Packers. You thought that was gonna be the game,
but you know, maybe see what Flocko does. Who knows
it's forty nine Ers, Bucks. You're talking about these two
Florida teams hosting Seahawks and then later in the day Niners.
That's hurt teams, but still very exciting regardless. Well, I mean, yeah,

(40:36):
I mean, but you still got Baker and you got
Mac Jones, who's balling as you've seen lately. Yeah, you're
lacking some wide receiver depth on both teams, but they're
both four and one, both trying to make a statement.
The Bucks are field goal favorites three and a half points,
so at Tampa Bay. At Tampa Bay, that's a great
game to watch. But I think the game of the week,
which needs no competition, gets at your Sunday night game.

(40:58):
How intrigued are you buy live at Chiefs. Oh my,
it's a very very intriguing. Yes. And by the way,
you nail the rich those three games, those are your games.
Those are your must watches right there, Those are Bay Unbelievably,
I've been competitive. Cool games to check out.

Speaker 5 (41:14):
What's also a part of this is Monday Night's doubleheader
is really good. It's the stagger double header on Monday night.
Oh yeah, but you're missing a bunch of really good
teams that you would normally be in the Sunday schedule.
So I think that's why it kind of trickles down
to what you laid out.

Speaker 1 (41:31):
Yeah, and you know what, the Bills are my favorite
pick of the week. You know, we do our bets.
I love the Bills. They're on the road in Atlanta,
and they stumbled a little bit. They haven't been looking
as sharp as they did early on, but they're four
and a half point favorites. I don't know. I just
feel like Josh Allen that team might just go off
in Atlanta inside Dome. I would love to know what
Josh Allen's record is inside, But to me, I just

(41:54):
feel like Atlanta that's a potential ass Whooping Buffalo can
run away with that game, and then the later one
and Commanders that's a hell of a game too. You're
looking at two young quarterbacks. I can't wait to see
all these games. NFL Week six is Papa Baby, Let's Go.
That's your Let's Go. The TV Game of the Week
brought to you by TC. Thank you t CL for

(42:14):
the big TV and man super exciting. Like I said,
the job's easy when you got a lot of exciting
things going on, makes it fun for everybody. So you
know it gets more exciting. Weld on what hold hold on, Phillips,
hold on, hit me up with some Wilson Phillips, hold on,
hold on, hold on for one more day, hold on

(42:37):
for one more day. Today, somebody's gonna make you want
to turn around and say goodbye. You know what We're
gonna do a new game. Let's play it.

Speaker 6 (42:47):
Come on, do Coveno and Race really share the same brain?
Chatting Ny Rain something Sidney Joe to measure you is.

Speaker 3 (42:57):
Their crew not far behind.

Speaker 1 (43:00):
We're one. Welcome to Brainway. Try to make sense of
the brain.

Speaker 3 (43:04):
It's easy. We drop fun, sports, music, and entertainment questions
and if you match with enough of these bosums, you win.

Speaker 1 (43:12):
I love that. On the count of three, reveal Brainway
one two three, kid, whoh.

Speaker 2 (43:21):
Happy Friday. Yeah, this game is approved by Covino's mom.

Speaker 1 (43:25):
That's right, she loves it.

Speaker 2 (43:27):
Perfect Then all right, The questions in this game are
all subjective. You just need to try and get into
the same brain as CNR and the crew. Let's get
our contestant on the studio lines here, and then I'll
explain how the game works.

Speaker 1 (43:38):
Dave in Nashville is gonna play. Hi, Dave, Dave, Hi,
I'm Dave. What's up? What's up, buddy, Dave? What do
you do for a living? There? I run a car dealership? Nice?
Very cool?

Speaker 2 (43:49):
All right, here's how the game works. We're gonna mix
it up with three fun categories, sports, music, and entertainment.
I haven't shared these questions with anyone in the studio.
I'm gonna ask them and then give three answers to
choose from the six of us in studio. Are going
to write down our answers on the dry erase boards
for our YouTube channel.

Speaker 1 (44:04):
Dave.

Speaker 2 (44:05):
That means that's going to give you time to get
your answer ready. All right, on the count of three, Dave,
you shout your answer out, and then that's gonna be us,
followed by that going around the studio to reveal ours.
The caller must match three of us to win the round,
or no matter the caller's answer, if all six of
us in the studio match, you automatically win the round.

Speaker 1 (44:23):
Dave.

Speaker 2 (44:23):
So contestant needs to win two of the rounds to
be the champ and walk away with a CNR and
their football.

Speaker 1 (44:28):
All right, so he has to match three out of us, yep,
or all of us need to match yep. All right,
here we go. All right now, Dave, you know not
to shout out your answer right away?

Speaker 3 (44:36):
Right?

Speaker 1 (44:37):
You know this? Entrey? Wait, wait till Danny says, or
I'll get here we go. Okay, Round one. Let's start
with sports. Got your pens ready? Yes? All right, here
we go.

Speaker 2 (44:46):
Which NFL fan base is the most likely to get
a tattoo of their team? The Steelers, the Raiders, or
the Cowboys? Well, those would be the ones. All right,
all of us in the studio. I'm going to write
our answers down.

Speaker 1 (45:05):
Okay, got my answer, got my answer?

Speaker 2 (45:08):
Got mine too, I'm locked in. All right, We're all ready, Dave?
Are you ready?

Speaker 1 (45:13):
I'm ready?

Speaker 2 (45:14):
One? Two, three? Writer Raiders? He says, all right, let's
start with Covino.

Speaker 1 (45:21):
I said the Raiders. Nice, that's one boom? All right? Rich,
I mean said the same Raiders too. Match. There we go, Buyer.

Speaker 5 (45:32):
I apologize if I was a little early on the video,
but you may have already seen Raiders.

Speaker 2 (45:39):
Right out the Gate. You are a winner of that round.
At least my answer doesn't even matter. No, but no
care guess what I said. Oh, let's everyone in the studio.

Speaker 1 (45:51):
I'm sorry I went with I went with cowboys. Yeah,
I went with cowboys. Also, wow, because I say, you know,
you're not self aware? Did g your on Mini X?

Speaker 2 (46:00):
Maybe because of parts of California I've grown up in,
But I've seen more cowboys tattoos than anything. Well, okay, yeah,
all right, here we go round two. Erase those off
our boards. All right, Round two, Dave, We're gonna go
with the entertainment category. Which female celebrity would create the
most pandemonium if she were seen walking in public? Jennifer Lopeza,

(46:24):
Sydney Sweeney or Kim Kardashian. Oh, alright, write your answers down,
all right, got it?

Speaker 1 (46:35):
Locked in?

Speaker 2 (46:37):
Yeah, everybody, let me know when you're okay. All right,
everybody in the studio ready, got it?

Speaker 1 (46:42):
Yep? All right, Dave.

Speaker 2 (46:44):
We'll take your answer on the count of three, one, two, three.
Kim Kardashian. All right, we're gonna go in reverse order
this time. Sammy. That means you to.

Speaker 4 (46:54):
Make him feel good. Okay, my answer matters. Guess what
I said, Kim K. Well, I went the big booty direction,
j Lo. All right now, Spotty, I actually said, Kim Kardashian.

Speaker 1 (47:10):
Kim k wins. Yeah, all right, dB, I want j
a ie good taste to Rich Davis. Well, don't you worried, Dave?
You're a winner, Because I said Kim K. I think
that's easily the right answer. Personally is different. But the

(47:30):
world goes crazy. I'm gonna witness the one. I'm gonna
share it to be, No Rich story story time.

Speaker 2 (47:36):
Before you do that, Rich, Let's let's do one last category,
just for fun. Throw a coozy in. Danny's made this
too easy.

Speaker 1 (47:43):
He doesn't want story time.

Speaker 2 (47:44):
No, I want the story. After this category, we'll go
back to sports for bonus bonus. He's producing, he's the producer.

Speaker 6 (47:51):
I love it.

Speaker 2 (47:52):
Bonus cozy bonus coozy here to me. We'll go back
to sports in their prime story time. Who threw the
prettiest deep ball in their prime? Warren Moon, Russell Wilson
or Dan Marino?

Speaker 1 (48:10):
Oh wow, no, Uncle Rico man, that's yeah. I know
that's a tough one. I gotta say, can we make
a deal? Could everyone put the caps back on their
dry race pens. Whoever you used this one last week
left it off like Jez, come on, we'll get some
We'll get some more pens. I'm locked in. However, I
did buy these at the dollar Trade, and Rich, let's go.

Speaker 2 (48:35):
We're all locked all right, Dave for your bonus round
here on the count of three, one, two, three.

Speaker 1 (48:41):
I'm gonna say Marino to Clayton Marino. Okay. You know
there was an autograph picture in our office for years
and it said, hey, Rich, go deep, Dan Marino. Nice,
it's my story, and uh my wife said keep trying.
I also us said day Marina Warren Moon was a

(49:02):
good answer, Dan Byer Warren Moon did, Yeah, underrated most
under the quarterback of our childhood spotty.

Speaker 4 (49:11):
I actually said, handsome Dan Marina, all right, so you win, buddy.

Speaker 8 (49:17):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (49:18):
In just for fun here, I said d Russ, I
said dangerous because yeah, dude, the one thing I always
loved watching him throw that deep ball, just something about
his spiral.

Speaker 1 (49:29):
I love that someone on planet Earth is showing Russell
Wilson and Sammy. What did you answer with that?

Speaker 9 (49:36):
Actually went with Jeff, George, that's a good answer, Thank you.
I actually thought of him as well. All right, David Nashville,
we appreciate you playing. You are a big winner. We're
going to put you on the mailing list for a
turbo football.

Speaker 8 (49:50):
Wow.

Speaker 1 (49:50):
Great job man. And again we always give away prizes
bribery balls, turbo balls. If you won last year, they're
different this year. So if you want to qualify for
more prizes, just leave a review on Apple podcast search
Covino and Rich Day something nice, Danny Geogetia in congrats Rich.
You have a j Lo story? Oh no, I have
a story. I don't know if I'm going to tell
you now, nobody I will. I want to tell Dave

(50:12):
he runs a car dealership. I want every car to
exit your lot just with Fox Sports Radio on, like
before they walk, drive off the lot, right on, chopping
down the person. Make sure. Yeah, we'll make sure we'll
put it right there on for you.

Speaker 4 (50:25):
Thank you man, Thank you buddy. So Covino and I
were in Vegas storytime music.

Speaker 1 (50:31):
Yeah, it was back in the day. Remember when the
Mirage was sort of like a hot spot? Did they've
yet there is that still even around? It's gonna become
the Virgin right, Yeah, they're still working on it. Well,
when the Mirage was like a hot spot, I remember
Covino and I saw the biggest fuss ever made, Like
what we're talking about. People like a thousand people were

(50:51):
hovering around like what is this fuss for? And then
come walking by Booty and all Kim Kardashian with like
bodyguard everywhere, and it was just all young women and
people say, what did the Kardashians do. I'll tell you
what they do. They're successful entrepreneurs that have thousands of
women that buy their products and everything. We saw women,
young women lining up just to buy their makeup, buy

(51:14):
their products and get a glimpse. So yo, Kim Kardashian
is by your own story? Wasn't it an opening of Dash?
Wasn't that name of the store? Their own little store
that they had they were opening. They were going to
say the part where she then winked and said, hey, Kvino,
Then she grabbed my MANTHI Yeah, No, they were opening
up a store and it was pandemonium. Yeah, and we've

(51:37):
had the pleasure of interviewing them a bunch of times. Yeah,
the Kardashians. No diggity note with Cavino and Rich let's
go to Dan Buyer for an update. dB, what's doing Buddy?

Speaker 5 (51:46):
I will say, I answered j Low, And I guess
this could go for the Kardashians as well, because I
figured that her people would call the paparazzi to say
that she was going to be at the spot, so
then everybody would show up and get hype about it.
All right, people are going to show up tonight in
Seattle for Game five of the America League Divisional Series
between the Tigers and Mariners, eight o'clock Eastern time. You're
gonna see it on Fox winner against the Blue Jays

(52:08):
in the ALCS, Browns head coach Kevin Stefanski announced Rooky
quarterback should Or Sanders, we'll back up fellow quarterback Dylan
Gabriel in Sunday's game in Pittsburgh against the Steelers. Cardinals
quarterback Kyler Murray returned to practice today. He's questionable to
face the Colts on Sunday because of a foot injury.
Lamar Jackson out for the Ravens against the Rams. Niners
won of Brock Purty against the Buccaneers. Other players ruled

(52:30):
out for Week six include Perty's teammate Ricky Piersall in
that sim game. No Chris Godwin, no Mike Evans, no
Bucky Irving. For Tampa Panther's running back Chewba Hubbard is
out for their matchup against the Cowboys Raiders without tight
end brock Bowers.

Speaker 1 (52:46):
All right, time for weekend, hob nobbin. Let's go live
in for the weekend.

Speaker 3 (52:51):
You're winning bets for talking points if you get stuck
socializee you ever done anything dangerous?

Speaker 1 (52:56):
You ever dance for the devil in the pale line?

Speaker 3 (52:59):
Friday break?

Speaker 1 (53:01):
Weekend hob no All right, of course, there's lots of
great baseball, lots of great football. I know you guys
are gonna talk about it, so I'm gonna spread this
out a little bit. Cavino here with your weekend hobbing.
Must watches UFC Fight Night tomorrow night. Olivera Gamrot in
the lightweight main event, Figarado Montel Jackson the co main event.

(53:26):
So some good fights tomorrow night. I've been talking about
it all week. It's Spooky season, Ghost season postseason. So
you might want to check out that ed Geines story
Monster docuseries on Netflix. Watch it if you stopped doing
the impression of him. I can't swear on that mother.
I didn't like it, so monster the Ed Gaenes story

(53:51):
might be something you want to get gross down on
for your Halloween spirit. As you guys know him on
Ozzie's Bonyard every Saturday and Sunday morning. That's Serius six M,
channel thirty eight, and I'm on Turbo forty one every night.
But Ozzy Osbourne, the Prince of Darkness has a new
documentary out. When you're done watching Tulsa King on Paramount Plus,

(54:11):
check out No Escape From Now. It's a great documentary.
From what I'm hearing, lots of Ozzy Osbourne revelations and
I'm hearing this a must watch whether you're a metal
fan or not. Ozzy Osbourne No Escape From Now on
Paramount Plus and our bonus podcast Rich brand new episode
dropped yesterday right here on covino own Rich FSR on

(54:32):
the YouTube page. Over promised episode one twelve Peaches and Cream.
We had another really fun episode. I think it's one
of the most fun things we're doing. Over Promised Episode
one twelve right here on this page. Check it out
and enjoy. I'm gonna hit up Netflix for a second.
You got little kids, They love this for some reason.
You know the certain shows where you're like, oh wow,

(54:53):
I didn't realize my kids would get such a kick
out of this. There's a Halloween edition of is It Cake?
So have you got a little kids? Might be fun
to be you know, they when they cut into it,
it's a cake or not. That that's on Netflix True Haunting.
There's a little docuseriies if you want to be in
that spooky mood Cabino that is new on Netflix, and
Danny g Cavino's catching up to us. Love is Blind

(55:15):
season nine. If you like trash TV, I promise you
this is this is I think it's weird that you're
calling yourself Sparkle Dicky.

Speaker 2 (55:23):
This is Sparkle Rich. This is top tier trash television.

Speaker 1 (55:26):
Dude. Just because you cried like Edmund when the Yankees lost,
that guy needs to get a grip. But I think
Love is Blind. As far as all the dumb reality
shows we watch, it's the one that I find to
be the best social experiments because the reality is, even
if they're just there to try to be famous on
social media, the idea of meeting someone that you click

(55:47):
with without seeing them, you need to see someone.

Speaker 2 (55:50):
It just proves that it doesn't work in my mind.
One of the contestants says, what if I give fat
and get some chunks? He said, then I'll be holding
them chunks. Yeah, it's funny, it's funny. It's definitely chime out.

Speaker 1 (56:02):
Is that is it gonna be in his wedding veils?
I'll be holding them chunks. Which have you caught up
to Black Rabbit? Uh? You know that's a show I
stalled on. I'm gonna pick that up again. Same with
the only murders in the building. I don't know if
you and Brenda watch that fantastic.

Speaker 2 (56:14):
On Hula nice and some college football games to watch
Week seven. Number one Ohio State at number seventeen, Illinois,
number eight, Alabama at number fourteen Missouri, number six, Oklahoma
at Texas Washington Fainery at number four Ole miss and
number three Oregon at number seven Indiana.

Speaker 1 (56:33):
What do they call that? The Red River shootout? Right now?
They call the Rabbit River rivalry to I can't say
shootout anymore. Can't say shootout. That's lame. I mean, I'm
out again. No one's four gun violence. But you can't
you have to change the name of a rivalry. Yeah,
I kind of think the name has a nice ring
to it. Mother would approve, thank you, but she doesn't

(56:53):
approve of Jesebels.

Speaker 4 (56:56):
I'm not at Texas's slight favorite in that game, too,
so tune in. I mean, Arch might be one of
the biggest leftdowns of the year. Huh, well, it's a
Texas mess. I don't know if oh Oklahomas John Mattier
playing and he's like, I think he's iffy, So we'll
see great.

Speaker 1 (57:08):
And of course tonight game five, scoop bol could he
take care of the Mariners in Seattle? And then you
know Dan Byer is going to be on the edge
of a seat. In fact, Dan Buyer wants to go
down the slide in Milwaukee with Bernie Brewer hopefully, hopefully
his Brewers win for him Brewer's Cubbies. That's tomorrow night,
Game five. Enjoy it all, have a great weekend, spooky season.

(57:29):
Break out the hoodies, break out the pumpkin beer. Let's
go make your trip to Spirit Halloween. Baby, we will
see you in the Promised Land. Have a great weekend.

Speaker 2 (57:39):
