Speaker 1 (00:01):
Don't listening to Fox Sports Radio radio.

Speaker 2 (00:04):
This could be No, this is the craziest day of
sports you will get on your calendar. We're not giving
out well, we are giving out trophies at the Ryder Cup,
but we're not crowning champions of the National Football League.
We could be crowning division champions at baseball. We've got
the WNBA. This is it. This is the day that
we have talked about. It is finally here at Carry Rhoades.

(00:26):
Right now, everything at least living up to the billing
of what we hoped it would be.

Speaker 3 (00:31):
Yeah, my neck is strained trying to watch all the
TVs at the moment and listen and host and do
the whole thing.

Speaker 2 (00:36):
But fun day. Obviously, sports are sports.

Speaker 3 (00:40):
Is everything, right, So right now we're getting our full
full blast of all of that.

Speaker 2 (00:45):
Right now. This is end Zone Radio, but it's also
going to be strike zone radio when we tell you
what's happening in the NL Wildcard in the AL East
of the AL Central. And it's also going to be
drop zone radio. There's your golf term for whenever the
Cup wraps up. And honestly, Carrie, at the start of
the day, I felt we would have been at this

(01:06):
point with the Ryder Cup a long time ago. But
as crazy as it sounds, the United States still has
a chance to win the Cup and there are only
four matches on the course. I'm just going to quick
explain this. We'll get to all the football, but the
United States has made a great comeback. Europe just needs
to tie one of these four matches. And of the
four matches on the course right now, the US leads

(01:28):
in two of them. The other two are tied. All
square was the old way to say it. Now they
just call it tied. But if the Americans are able
to flip those final two matches with Tyrell Hatton against
Colin Morikawa and Robert McIntyre against Sam Burns, if Moricawa
and Burns are able to win those matches, we're going
to have the greatest comeback in Ryder Cup history that

(01:50):
we have ever seen. So that's what's at stake now.
Shanelwry just extended his match with Russell Henley to the
eighteenth hole, So the US is garantee at least a
half point, but that doesn't matter. What matters is Europe
can't get any more half points otherwise they will retain
the cup. It's not likely carry but it's much more

(02:11):
likely than it was at the start of the day.

Speaker 3 (02:13):
I was when I got here, I was like, where
is Dan? He's not sitting in the same spot. When
I walked in, I see Dan with another comfy chair
right close up to the screen watching golf, and I
thought he was actually in it making a putt. But no,
he's really excited, guys, and we're excited for the sports
day today, pulture.

Speaker 2 (02:31):
It's one of those days where every two years, and
even when it's in Europe, carry this happens earlier in
the day, so it doesn't necessarily carry over into the
later window of the NFL Sunday that we've got. But
with what we had earlier today, with the crazy game
between the Giants and Chargers, what we have tonight with
the Packers and Cowboys playing, and what we've got right now, Ravens, Chiefs, Bears, Raiders,

(02:55):
all these contests going on, baseball's happening, golf is also
taking center stage. And if it wasn't such a historic
comeback of what we could possibly see, I thought it
was just going to be a passing note. And we
congratulate Europe on the wind. But I can't even say
right now that it is a sure thing because there
is not that it looks good for the Americans. But yes,

(03:17):
a crazy day. And I made sure that the TVs
that I could see the golf as well when we
walk in. We got a lot of TVs. That's a
great thing about Fox Sports radios. We got a lot
of TVs here to be able to watch these games.
We've got them all on. We've got the Multi box
to keep you up to date in the NFL, and
Manzi's at the news desk as well, tracking down everything
baseball as your Yankees are trying to get an Al

(03:38):
East crop.

Speaker 3 (03:39):
I was just about to say, I know as much
as you're tuned in to the Cup, I'm tuned in
to that American East raced tied up, last day of
the season, last game of the season. Yankees and Blue
Jays are tied up right now, and so you know,
have a chance to win a division. I think the
Raids are winning. I don't know the Yankee scorer at
the moment. You have that one day I could bring

(03:59):
it up for you real quick. So but what a
great what a great end of the season. You got,
you got the Yankees, and you have the Rays buying
for that Al East. You got the Mets, and you
got the Reds fighting for that last NL wild car position.

Speaker 2 (04:15):
So a lot of stuff going on today. So this
is what we've got, Chris Purfelt, what is the score
that we've got?

Speaker 4 (04:20):
Yes, it is top of the seventh Orioles and Yankees
are tied to to got it. And we don't need
to bring up my Tigers at all.

Speaker 2 (04:27):
No, no, we don't point collapse lapse. Maybe maybe more
importantly for the Yankees is you need the Blue Jays
to lose. Yes, and right now they're not up eight
to four on the Rays in the sixth inning. And
then the other Guardians Detroit matchup in the NL Central
Guardians are trailing the Rangers right now five to three. Well,

(04:48):
the Tigers are in Boston trailing the Red Sox four
to three in the seventh inning, and the Mets, Mets
had opportunities, could not cash in, and they continue to
trail the Marlins for nothing in the bottom of the
sixth inning, Red's losing to the Brewers four to two.
So everybody who needed to do something today isn't doing anything.
We'll see if the Chiefs can do something there in
the red zone, knocking on the door, second and goal

(05:08):
from the Ravens five. They trailed Baltimore by a score
of seven to three with ten minutes in counting to
go until halftime. The Chief's getting Xavier Worthy back. We've
seen him be active today, but Lamar Jackson active in
a bad way, throwing in an interception that thwart at
a Ravens drive and this just ended up turning into
the Chiefs drive where they're kocking on the door here. Kerry, Yeah,

(05:29):
you can tell he's coming out. Lamar came out early,
perfect five to five when the first drive got a touchdown,
and you can tell that they're trying to speed up
his process a little bit. He held the ball a
little bit last game too long, got sacked and so
trying to throw the ball away through a terrible interception.
And now Case's on the move in the red zone,
trying to get some point here. So the Ravens are

(05:49):
in a short week here. They lost to the Ravens
on Monday Night football and now you have this trip
to Kansas City, which is a lot to ask. You
wonder how much they've got in the tank. Two huge games,
but this one obviously means more than than I would
say last weekends does against Detroit, especially when you're talking
about standings and seeding and how things are going to

(06:11):
play out. But as you look at this team or
this game, with both teams sitting there with just one win,
who is it crunch time more for Ravens or Kansas
City at this point?

Speaker 3 (06:21):
I mean, I think it's crunch time more for the Chiefs.
I mean, I don't think they're and I've talked about
this already, I don't think they're as talented as they've
been in the past, and so their margin for ERA
is not that big anymore. And so for them to
get a win at home, they need to win this game.
But Baltimore needs to win it as well. They're both
one and two and both kind of underachieving at the moment,

(06:41):
so it's a critical game for both.

Speaker 2 (06:44):
I think I think I agree with you in that
if you're picking one side or the other, that it
is Kansas City. Kansas City lost a home game to
the Eagles earlier earlier this season. For them to start
out zero to two at Arrowhead would be crazy enough.
Now I get their opponents top level Eagles and Ravens.

(07:04):
He really can't get any better. A lot of people
pick that to be a Super Bowl this year. But
for Kansas City, to what you said, Baltimore may be
able to correct their problems later on in the season,
Kansas City is who they are, So I agree with
you in that point that it's more meaningful for Kansas City,
not only because it's a home game, but because I
don't see the variation, like I think Baltimore could go

(07:26):
on a hot streak and it could be a team
you don't want to face at the end of the year.
Maybe they get things straightened out defensively, they get healthy
on defense. With the Chiefs, I don't think that's the case.
I think that their ceiling is so high, so they're
only so high, so you have to take advantage of
every opportunity. Yeah.

Speaker 3 (07:39):
No, the Ravens obviously have more talent, right, but again,
the Chiefs margin of era even last year was small
and they were still fifteen to two. So for them,
they're not playing good football either. And so when you
look at it that way, and they're at home where
they usually handle business. So for them, they need to
try to handle business here. But the Ravens come up
with week they're mad at the way they play this Monday,

(08:02):
and so for them, they're gonna come out and play
play well also, so it's gonna be an interesting game.
I want to see how the Chiefs aren't able to
if they can put up points. We know Baltimore's defense
struggled against Detroit. Detroit was more physical than them, which
we never really see. And so for Kansas City, I
think if they're patient enough and you know, play a
brand of football that they may not be used to

(08:25):
and like run the ball in physical maybe they have
a chance to win this one.

Speaker 2 (08:28):
So the San Francisco forty nine Ers had expectations this
year much higher than what last year turned out. But
the conversation with San Francisco, hey, everybody's back getting healthy.
We think we can make a run. This is preseason.
I'm talking. We've got the easiest schedule in the National
Football League in San Francisco right now without Nick Bosa

(08:48):
for the rest of the season. Lost him last week
and that last second win against Arizona. The forty nine
Ers at three and oh are trailing the Jaguars fourteen
to three. Now five minutes to go until halftime, Trevor
Lawrence hitting Hunter Long with a four yard touchdown pass.
Maybe more impressively for Jacksonville, it capped off a thirteen
play eighty nine yard drive that took eight minutes off
the clock. So Jacksonville up early by double digits against

(09:11):
San Francisco.

Speaker 3 (09:12):
Yeah, I was never high on San franc come into
the year. I think people were because of their schedule.
But I always tell people to caution caution themselves with
you know, the strength of schedule thing before the season starts.

Speaker 2 (09:22):
Right.

Speaker 3 (09:22):
Yes, nobody thought Jacksonville will be two and one or
whatever they are at this morning, at this point, right,
so the Colts are what four and oh, three and zero,
So like, you don't know who these teams are going
to be. You can speculate and say, you know, talk
about what they did last year and look at personnail
and do all that stuff, but once you get on
the field, things are different. So that the early season
schedule thing I always kind of like pumped the brakes

(09:43):
on that.

Speaker 2 (09:43):
Anyway, I agreed to a point because when we looked
at the NFC North and the damage that they were
able to do last year, they did have a more
advantageous schedule for their opponents that they were playing. My
issue with it was I wasn't sold that San Francisco
was just going to be able to flip a switch

(10:06):
and be the team that they were two years ago.
Everybody on that team is two years older, and outside
of Brock Purty, that's not a good thing, right, Like,
I mean if Nick Bose is two years older and
Trent Williams is a couple of years older, and Christian McCaffrey,
despite him being hurt last year, another two years older, Like,
that's not good. You're not trending that way. Sure you

(10:28):
have all these pieces that you think are coming back,
and Kyle Shanahan said this week that Brandon Ayuk suffered
a more serious knee injury last year than just a
torn acl so he was not close to being back
in action. You don't have him doing things. I think
that people overlooked San Francisco's warts, yeah, because of what
they were two years ago, and then made themselves feel

(10:50):
better by looking at that strength of schedule, And.

Speaker 3 (10:52):
Think about this. For me, I don't think they are
as talented either. So we can talk about two years
ago and all that that's fine. So when you look
at this team, they've been winning, they've played. The opponents
they played aren't that great, they've won them, which you
got to get them credit for. But now you're going
against the Jacksonville team that's you know, they're not super

(11:14):
talented either, but they're confident, they've been winning. They're playing
better football this year. So you step into a situation
like this where this game is evenly matched, and so
whoever comes out and plays well is going to win
the game. And I know we like to give credit
to Shanahan in the regular season because he is one
of the most talented, like strategic coaches in the NFL.
So he's going to put them in advantageous situations. But
you got to go out and execute.

Speaker 2 (11:35):
Yeah, it's funny the conversations about Kyle Shanahan because I
think at times when he deserves credit, he doesn't get it,
and when at times when he doesn't, oh, he gets
the bland. I think at times there's the bucket is

(11:55):
passed for him. But I do think sometimes that we overblow,
like we think that he's a quarterback whisperer. Right, Well,
then it would have worked with Trey Lance. You know
what would have worked with Jimmy Garoppolo, you know, and
you wouldn't have needed to get to this point with
Brock Perdy to be the quarterback whisper. The Shanahan game
and then I've said this for a while is how

(12:16):
could they run the football right like that? That's what
it is, and quarterbacks have also benefited from that, you know,
from that game. So well, I think that Kyle Shanahan
is good and can work with quarterbacks. I don't think
that he was a quarterback whisperer by any means that
it's more of what they do running the football that
makes them a success.

Speaker 3 (12:33):
Quarterback whisper or no running game expert, yes, because of
his lineage. But also we talked about two years ago again,
I mean the weapons that they had, Yeah, yeah, are
you Jennings, Deebo Samuels, Kristin McCaffery, Kittle, Like that's top
tier talent. So that's the other part of it as well,
and that's missing from the equation.

Speaker 2 (12:52):
Bears had it in Raiders territory, but Caleb Williams took
a couple of sacks and Chicago ends up punting it
back to the Raiders touchback Raiders will take over first
and ten at their own twenty yard lineup seven to three,
ten minutes to go until halftime. Ashton genty with the
touchdown reception from Gino Smith, the lone score of that game.
Colts leading the Rams by a score of ten to six.

(13:13):
Playing in La with the ninety seconds to go until halftime,
Rams have the football and Matthew Stafford almost connected on
a big play I believe to Tyler Higbee, but just
off of his fingertips, so it'll be second down. He
had him down the sidelines to carry but just missed them. Yeah,
that's a missedo off for sure.

Speaker 3 (13:30):
He had him Higby on a wheel route, up and
up and out route and.

Speaker 2 (13:34):
Then just a little bit too far, a little bit
too far. So here's what we've got. In Kansas City,
Ravens lead the Chiefs seven to six. Is the Chiefs
had to settle for a field goal on that previous
drive Harrison, but Grey able to cash in. So Baltimore's
got the football backup seven to six in that contest,
And as we told you, Jacksonville leads San Francisco fourteen
to three, three and a half minutes to go until halftime,

(13:55):
and the Jaguars have the football again. The San Francisco
has had to turn it back. I'm going to get
We're going to bring in Monzy Millennials in just a
little bit to give us an update of what's happening
in baseball. But here's the littist at the Ryder Cup.
Europe up on the United States thirteen and a half
to ten and a half. Four matches on the course
right now. Shane Lowry has a putt that could win

(14:17):
the Ryder Cup for Europe. This could be their opportunity.
Russell Henley had a birdie putt and it was he
missed his birdie putt, so Shane Lowry has an opportunity
to close this out. There are only three other matches
on the course, the US leading in one of those,
so we'll keep it here. This is where Carrie, we

(14:37):
transition from end zone radio to drop the zone rate zone.
The drop zones not necessarily where you want to be.
Shane Lowry took a lot of heckling from the crowd.
Rory got a lot of it yesterday, but so did
Shane Lowry and Shane Lowry. It is just one as
Europe will keep the Ryder Cup. His birdie putt on

(14:58):
eighteen a half point for Team Europe, tying his match
with Russell Henley. So Europe has retained the Ryder Cup.
Despite the valiant efforts of the United States coming back,
Europe wins the Ryder Cup again. Chris Profetter, Technical producer.

Speaker 4 (15:17):
Yes, we have we have a live audio looking at
what Shane Lowry said. Would you like to hear it?

Speaker 2 (15:26):
That's exactly what he said.

Speaker 4 (15:28):
This has been very This has been a very chippy
Ryder Cup with the with the audience.

Speaker 2 (15:32):
Yes, Shane Lowry yesterday was playing with Rory McElroy when
a lot of that did the report of get in
trouble or something or there was an MC at the
start who decided to join in with the chance as well.
She did not return today. She ended up stepping aside
from her duties. But so now we can put aside
drop zone radio that is one drop zone, that is

(15:53):
one zone away. We've got end zone radio and we
have strike zone Radio. So before I go to Monty Belanios,
just for a quick update in Major League Baseball for
the scores, I do want to let you know that
you got to check out DraftKings sportsbook and official sports
betting partner of the NFL. Right now, use the promo
code Fox Game. That's Fox Game to claim your special

(16:13):
offer at DraftKings. DraftKings, the crown is yours. Don't forget
that's promo code Fox Game. We are focusing on a
few games in Major League Baseball. Reds in action against
the Brewers, Mets in action against the Marlins. Monzi, that's
for the final NL Wildcard. Where do those two games stand?
Give me some good news months all right?

Speaker 5 (16:33):
Well, Reds are in if they win. Reds are also
in if they lose. In the Mets lose. Right now,
the Reds are losing to the Brewers four to two,
bottom of the seventh inning.

Speaker 6 (16:44):
Mets are losing to the Marlins.

Speaker 2 (16:46):
Please for Zerome keep losing.

Speaker 6 (16:48):
Yeah, let them let him keep losing.

Speaker 5 (16:50):
Also show Heyo Tani hit home run number fifty five
on the season. So yeah, Dodgers up on the Mariners
five zero, That doesn't matter. But Tony hit a home run? Well,
tany hit a home run? Yankees, you want to tied
against the Orioles to a piece bottom of the seventh
inning while.

Speaker 6 (17:04):
The Blue Jays are up on the Rays eight four.

Speaker 5 (17:07):
So Blue Jays would win the division, get the buye
for the wild card series. Also, the Guardians are fighting
for their division. Guardians are losing to the Rangers right now,
five to three. It's the bottom of the seventh inning.
And who are they?

Speaker 2 (17:23):
Rangers?

Speaker 6 (17:24):
Rangers?

Speaker 5 (17:24):
Sorry, I'm trying to find the Rangers here.

Speaker 2 (17:27):
Guardians Arrangers. That's we got We got you covered. Yeah,
thank you. We're a team. I like the American rider
coach squads. It thrives during individual performances.

Speaker 6 (17:34):
So much going on, so much going on.

Speaker 2 (17:36):
We work together as a team. We are teams. By
the way, he's got an MLB mixed bed for you, Monty.
Would you like an MLB mixed bed?

Speaker 6 (17:45):
I would love that?

Speaker 2 (17:45):
All right?

Speaker 4 (17:46):
Hey, Chris, you know I was asking if you want
mL mix MLB mix on the.

Speaker 1 (17:49):
Team I got.

Speaker 2 (17:50):
I got on Fox Baseball theme much like much.

Speaker 4 (17:54):
Like the the US team at the Rider Company.

Speaker 2 (17:57):
Need to work on communication a little bit.

Speaker 7 (17:59):
That's on.

Speaker 1 (18:00):
Do you have the MLB on Fox team?

Speaker 8 (18:02):
Though?

Speaker 2 (18:02):
Because you ask and you shall receive. There you go,
all right, Gito Smith is earning an interception, all right,
nice Sea. The Bears had the football pack. They're in
the red zone. My goodness, it's a lot going on.
Holy smokes reading text here and there. At least the
Ryder Cup is now in our rear view mirror. We
don't have to worry about that anymore. How do you

(18:23):
feel a little disappointed? They got our hopes up? The
Americans did, But I'm glad that they didn't lay down
and fall over they were They made a valiant effort
at the end. Devanta Adams in the end zone. Rams
score at the end of the first half go against
the Colts. Matthew Stafford with the touchdown pass, so La
has taking a lead over the Indianapolis Colts by the

(18:46):
looks of it for the first half. Here Carrie the
four real Indianapolis Colts ten yard touchdown passing catch from
Stafford to Devanta Adams hit him up at Kerry twenty
five Roads. You can find me at Dan Byer on Fox.
Jen Hale's gonna check in from Foxborough with the Patriots
beat the Panthers. That comes up in about twenty five minutes,

Speaker 7 (20:24):
Jaguars at forty nine ers first and goal from a
four yard line of San Francisco.

Speaker 8 (20:29):
Trevor under center, play Fanks, Trevor looking looking, looking fire.

Speaker 1 (20:33):
That ball is gonna be caught for the touchdown. Touchdown,
Passed a Hunter long from four yards away. Back to
Dan Bayer and carry Rhoads.

Speaker 2 (20:42):
Okay the Jaguars. That nice cushion on ten ten XL
and that the two point five FM Jaguars Radio network.
This is end Zone Radio on Fox Sports Radio. He
is the all pro carry Roads. I'm Dan Bayer. Jaguars
were up eleven after the extra point. Was good, but
San Francisco is now driving little razzle dazzle again. My
mom loves that phrase. Hooking the ladder for the Niners

(21:02):
puts them deep into Jaguars territory. Now a first in
goal at about the seven yard line for the forty
nine ers, but down eleven with a minute to go
until halftime. Yeah, it's a huge drive for the forty
nine ers to get back in this game.

Speaker 3 (21:15):
Down fourteen to three early, get here, get a touchdown here,
make it fourteen ten or you know, these coaches nowadays
go for the two point conversions early during the game,
so you know who knows, But a big opportunity here
to get back in this game.

Speaker 2 (21:28):
Put a forty nine ers. The Bears have kicked a
field goal fourth and twenty one going backwards on their drive,
but they pull within one of the Raiders seven to six.
The Chiefs into the end zone, Kansas City cashing in
and taking the lead on Baltimore in what is the
game of the day. But I think that we thought
it was obviously going to be the game of the

(21:49):
day for all games. But Rams Colts right now, yep,
pretty darn good one. But right now, Kansas City on
the Juju Smith Schuster touchdown reception from four yards out,
up on Baltimore thirteen to seven on the Ravens now
facing a fourth down and one with under four minutes
to go in the first half, looks like they're going
for it. That they're on forty one yard line.

Speaker 3 (22:08):
Yeah, this is when you get in these games. It's
always it's always tricky. I mean, you obviously don't want
to get the ball back to the Chiefs right now
after they scored a touchdown, But you don't get the
first down here, then you're putting yourself in a bind.
But you don't and it doesn't look like they're getting it.
So you know, you look at these decisions in the game.
Early Baltimore seems like they're starting to lose a little
faith in their defense. I mean, fourth and one in

(22:29):
your own forty even though you want to keep Lamar
on the field, you got to punt the ball and.

Speaker 2 (22:33):
Be smart, I think in my opinion, and they did not.

Speaker 3 (22:37):
And yeah, this is what happens in these games, Dan, Like,
you get coaches that get outside of their own who
they are, and that's the part that makes it hard
in these games.

Speaker 2 (22:47):
I feel Baltimore did this early in the Lamar Jackson era.
I remember there was a game against the Chiefs in
Kansas City where they felt like they needed to go
for two because they weren't up at the level of
Kansas City. Kansas City's not that team anymore. You're not
going to get into a thirty eight to thirty four
shootout with them. So anytime that you can play field position,
and I think that that game is apropos, you do it.

(23:09):
But the Ravens giving the Chiefs good field position as
they're unable to convert on that fourth and one, So
Kansas City takes over in Baltimore territory plus Kerry two
fifty seven to go until halftime, so you're almost giving
them three free points before the half, where the Kansas
City could just run down the clock like we know
they love to. Yes, Baltimar does have all three other
time out, so Kansas City will have to move the

(23:31):
football some, but still an interesting choice by John Harbaugh
feeling like he's a bit on tilt at one and two.
He is, and I think he's.

Speaker 3 (23:38):
Been here in the outside pressure as well, a lot
of people are starting to kind of take notice that,
you know, obviously Baltimore has a lot of issues in
big games, a lot of turnovers, costantly, misplays and things
that are out of character. And so now when you
start hearing the outside noise, when people obviously now starting
to call for Harball's job and Zach Orr's job and

(23:58):
all these things are starting to come up in as
a human being, you're you're I think ultimately you're hearing
those those those whispers and those footsteps, and so you
try to overcompensate. And so that's what it seems like
John Harball did in that situation.

Speaker 2 (24:12):
So the Chiefs will take over the football again in
Ravens Territory. We told you that the forty nine ers
were driving. Unable to cash in, they settle for a
field goal. So now within eight of Jacksonville tonight, the
green Bay Packers take on the Dallas Cowboys. Yes, Jerry
against Micah. Yeah, I don't want to talk about either guy.
I want to talk about the players and the players

(24:32):
that are going to score touchdowns because I'm on the
DraftKings Sportsbook app and looking at again anytime touchdowns score
first TV score. And while there's a Micah Parsons revenge
factor for the Cowboys, I think there's a bit of
something with Green Bay in wanting to show that they
can run the football against Kenny Clark, their former defensive

(24:53):
lineman and the reason that the trade was made. Plus
green Bay needs to get things going offensively. I think
that starts with Josh Jacobs. He's your best bet right
now at an anytime TV score minus two ten. If
you want to just go first TD score, maybe roll
the dice a little bit right there at plus three seventy,
I think you're going to see a lot of Josh Jacobs.
So that's where I'd be putting my units if I

(25:14):
was looking at making some hate tonight with that Packers
Cowboys game.

Speaker 3 (25:19):
Yeah, I mean that's the best bet I believe as well.
And I think the other option that you could take
in this game with CD Lamb being out, I would
look for a George Pickens anytime.

Speaker 2 (25:28):
Just now. I'll look for that one as well. Plus
one fifty five right now, I'll take it. Yeah, easy money,
Monty and Dan, easy money. The CD Lamb factor is
lack thereof is real. He is Kerry Rhodes, I'm Dan Byer.

(26:11):
tomorrow night for the Mile High City. There's been some
action not only in Kansas City, but in Las Vegas.
Let's go to the news desk, Monty Belaios jumping up
and down for one reason or another. A lot going on, Monzy,
take it away.

Speaker 6 (26:26):
Yeah, there was a lot going now.

Speaker 5 (26:27):
And the thing that I was cheering and jumping up
for is for the sixty four yard rushing touchdown by
Ashton Genty for the Raiders.

Speaker 6 (26:34):
We've been waiting for.

Speaker 5 (26:36):
Him to kind of have those explosive games through these
first four weeks. So right now, Raiders are up on
the Bears fourteen to six with about four minutes to
go in the first half.

Speaker 6 (26:45):
The Chiefs are they're moving, guys.

Speaker 5 (26:47):
They're headed towards the red zone right now against the Ravens,
they're up thirteen to seven with about.

Speaker 6 (26:52):
Two minutes and fifteen seconds to go. Xavier are Worthy
who came back and made his.

Speaker 5 (26:56):
Debut debut after you know, being hit by his own
teammate in game one hunder and his shoulder was out.
Xavier Worthy one carry for thirty five yards. He also
Now you have Travis Kelce here box score. I don't
care about Travis Kelce. I want to see Xavier Worthy,
who also has Sorry, guys, my thing changed on me.
Xavier Worthy also has two catches for forty one yards,
and there's plenty of game left.

Speaker 6 (27:18):
We'll see how this one ends up.

Speaker 5 (27:19):
While at halftime in LA, the Rams are on top
of the Colts thirteen to ten. Matthew Stafford connected with
DeVante Adams for a touchdown pass. He's also thrown for
one hundred and seventy four yards, and the Jags are
on top of the forty nine ers fourteen to six,
less than thirty seconds.

Speaker 6 (27:31):
To go before halftime.

Speaker 5 (27:34):
Games that happened earlier today, we've got some teams that
are still undefeated, like the Bills. They beat the Saints
thirty one to nineteen.

Speaker 6 (27:40):
Josh Allen sixteen of.

Speaker 5 (27:41):
Twenty two, two hundred and nine yards, two touchdowns, one interception,
plus seven carries for forty nine yards in a touchdown.
That interception by Josh Allen was the first turnover of
the Bills this season. Crazy Eagles still undefeated. They hand
the Buccaneers their first loss of the season, coming out
on top thirty one to twenty five.

Speaker 6 (27:59):
Giants got their first win of.

Speaker 5 (28:00):
The season against the Chargers at home twenty one eighteen.
Jackson Dart in his debut thirteen of twenty one hundred
and eleven yards and a touchdown, plus ten carries for
fifty four yards and a touchdown. But a couple of
injuries in this game. LA lost Joe Alt in the
first half to a high ankle. Spring New York lost
wide receiver Elie Neighbors on a non contact injury. They
believe the reports from the NFL network is that he

(28:21):
tore his ACL, but it hasn't officially been said by
the Giants. The Lions Crews passed the Browns thirty four
to ten. Falcons outscored the Commanders thirty four to seventeen.
Patriots crushed the Panthers forty two to thirteen. Texans get
their first win. They shout out the Titans twenty six
zero Tennessee zero and four to start the season.

Speaker 6 (28:40):
But we had NFL today in Dublin.

Speaker 5 (28:43):
That's where it all started, and the Steelers pulled off
the upset as they defeated the Vikings twenty four to
twenty one.

Speaker 6 (28:48):
At the Ryder Cup. You're a beat USA fourteen to eleven.
That was the final. It got close.

Speaker 5 (28:53):
As Dan mentioned in the WNBA, the fever stayed alive.
They forced the Game five against the Aces. Ninety to
eighty three is the final score. So it's the best
of five series. They're going back to Las Vegas. Still
to come in the WNA Semi Finals Game four between
the Links and the Mercury, where Phoenix leads the series
two to one.

Speaker 6 (29:09):
That is going to tip off at eight.

Speaker 5 (29:11):
Eastern Okay Baseball Baseball Reds are trying to get the
final walk art spot in the National League.

Speaker 6 (29:18):
They're in whether they win. They could also get in
if they lose, but the Mets have to lose right now.

Speaker 5 (29:22):
The Reds are losing to the Brewers four to two,
bottom of the eighth inning, Marlins are shutting off the
Mets for zero.

Speaker 6 (29:29):
Top of the eighth inning.

Speaker 5 (29:30):
Yankees and Blue Jays fighting for the division and also
a bide during the Wildcard series, and the Yankees are
now back on top of the Orioles three to two.
Bottom of the eighth inning blue Jays over the Rays
ten to four. Bottom of the seventh blue Jays do
own the tiebreaker there. Tigers and Guardians also fighting for
the division for other reasons. Rangers are edging the Guardians
five to four top of the eighth inning, and the

(29:51):
Red Sox.

Speaker 6 (29:51):
Are edging the Tigers for three top of them nine.

Speaker 2 (29:54):
Great.

Speaker 6 (29:56):
Yeah, sometimes it comes out. Sometimes you get stuck.

Speaker 2 (30:00):
I do have to say one thing about the Ryder Cup, Okay,
So it's not fourteen to twelve. Europe's clinched it. They've
clinched it because they've gotten the fourteen points needed. They're
not going to lose fourteen points at all. But they
had an injury today. Victor Hoblin withdrew with a neck injury.
The rule at the Ryder Cup is the match doesn't
go on and each side gets a half point. Oh

(30:21):
I don't know how fair that is.

Speaker 6 (30:23):
Okay.

Speaker 2 (30:24):
If Europe wins with fourteen points, that half point would
have won the Ryder Cup for a match they didn't
play because of injury. So's yes, that's the best way
to put it. Hit her off, bat manzi Blano. So
you can talk about it at another time. We'll see
if it comes down to that. But that's how the
day started. They started eleven and a half to five,

(30:46):
four and a half, and then we found out about
the injury, so Victor Hoblin and the Harris English did
not play their match and each side got a half point,
so it was twelve five entering singles and right now
it's fourteen to twelve. Jaguars kick a feel goal, yes,
to take that lead on the forty nine ers going
in a halftime seventeen to six. We all need a
time out. But I gotta quick tell you be sure
to check out the Fox Sports Radio YouTube channel. There's

Speaker 11 (31:33):

Speaker 2 (31:37):

Speaker 11 (31:39):
Tuxtown, Chansas City. As the Chiefs on the short roll,
touchdown pass the Holmes to Isaiah Pachecko and the Chiefs
lead nineteen to seven.

Speaker 1 (31:51):
Once again, here's Dan Bayer and Carrie Rhoads.

Speaker 2 (31:54):
Extra point was good. It's twenty to seven Kansas City
on top of Baltimore. Ninety seconds to go until halftime,
ninety six point five to the fan, Chiefs Radio Network
on the call. This is end Zone Radio on Fox
Sports Radio. Chiefs Ravens won of four games in this
late window. Twenty to seven Kansas City as they near halftime.

(32:17):
The just out of the gates in the second half.
In Los Angeles, Colts and Rams, it's thirteen to ten Colts.
Maybe on the scoreboard they're reviewing in eighty Mitchell possible
touchdown for Indianapolis. That's on hold right now. Raiders lead
the Bears fourteen to six nearing halftime, and they are
at the half. Jacksonville top topping the Niners seventeen to six.

(32:38):
There wasn't much of a fight on in Foxborough today
as the Patriots and Panthers played on one side of
affair let's focus on that.

Speaker 1 (32:48):
Now it's time for the NFL on Fox Focus.

Speaker 2 (32:55):
She was on the sidelines as the Patriots were dominance
over the Carolina Panthers today in Foxborough. Jen Hale joins
us here on Fox Sports Radio as the Patriots righted
their wrongs from a five turnover performance last week against
Pittsburgh dominating today, Jen forty two to thirteen. What was

(33:16):
the message of New England entering this game considering they
just couldn't hold on to the football last week.

Speaker 12 (33:22):
Yeah, hi, guys, most points scored since twenty twenty one
for the Patriots. Dominating is absolutely correct. Complimentaries football led
to scoring in all phases. Everybody played great. The message
from the Patriots this week. Mike Rabel talked about it
to us in our meetings on Friday and then again
re emphasizing it on the field today that he has

(33:43):
confidence and everybody, but everybody has to step up and
do their job and do it a little bit better.
And this squad responded in all facets on all sides
of the vaults. Defense was much better. You didn't see
those balse security issues on offense and then special teams.
My gosh, Marcus Jones he was the spark to kick
the seam into high gear and he never stopped all

(34:03):
game long. And then I think the most promising thing
for the Patriots down the way Stefon Diggs. You know
he's coming back from that torn acli at this miraculously
quick recovery we've seen him do all right, look promising,
but today he put it all together one hundred and
one yards. That's almost as many yards as he's had
all three of the first games combined. That connection between

(34:25):
him and Drake May was cooking, and it looked very promising.

Speaker 8 (34:28):
For the future.

Speaker 3 (34:29):
Jen That was my next question. So I picked this
team to be a sleeper team and have an opportunity
to possibly sneak in the wildcard. But I was wondering
the connection with Stefan Diggs. I mean, obviously today he
had six catches one hundred and one yards, but is
this sustainable for him and will he be the number
one option moving forward? Well, what's their philosophy on their

(34:49):
pass game with the Patriots?

Speaker 12 (34:51):
Look, I think you're one hundred percent right about them
being able to be a wildcard pick if they can
clean up the self inflicted wounds, if they can make
last week anomaly and not the norm. You know in
the NFL, it's consistency. It's a week to week game.
You can look so different and you have to rebound.
You have to stay stay the course and stay disciplined.
What was it, Tom Brady said? Fall in love with

(35:13):
the basics, fall in love with the boring. You've got
to do all the little things right week in and
week out. I think Stefan Diggs is just scratching the
surface the way he came back so quickly from that
acl and assimilating into this system, the attitude. You know,
he's publicly said several times, I'm not going to demand

(35:33):
the ball. This is not about me. This is about
the team. It's a little bit of the old Patriot
vernacular you used to hear with Brady and Belichick back
in the day. So yeah, I think this is going
to be an extremely reliable and valuable weapon for Drake May,
a young quarterback who's still finding his way. And look,
I still think that Hunter Henry connection. When you can

(35:53):
have a tight end like that and then you've also
got a couple of really good running backs, now you've
got true options. Who places to go when you get
in trouble.

Speaker 2 (36:03):
Everybody was getting in on the mix. Antonio Gibson and
got in the end zone today for New England. Jen
Hale joining us here on Fox Sports Radio after the
Patriots picked up that big win against the Carolina Panthers today.
I don't think it's apples to apples, but I also
don't think it's unfair if we compare what Drake May
and Bryce Young each did today, May a magnificent day.

(36:24):
Carolinas just seemed to be struggling. But a week ago
these two quarterbacks were in different spots. How did you
see both of the quarterbacks play out? Considering May is
it his second year as a starter, and Bryce Young,
after being benched last year, is now in his third year,
how do you think the quarterbacks played out?

Speaker 12 (36:41):
Jen, Hey, I think it's a great question. One thing
I've really admired about Drake May this season. He's so
much better against the blitz. And I talked to him
about it on Friday, asked him what he's done, what's changed?
And you could watch it play out today, not that
there was a ton of blitz coming, but you could
see him keep his eyes down the field and instead
of being intimidated and feeling pressured in blitz situations or

(37:04):
at least five pressure situations. He looked at that as
an opportunity. Hey, there's going to be a soft spot
in the defense somewhere. Now it's on me to find
it and exploit it. And if he can continue that trend,
that goes very well for where this Patriot squad is
going to go. Bryce Jeong, Look, I think he has
a lot of raw talent, a lot of skills. I

(37:26):
still question if he's big enough to make it in
the NFL. His sweet spot is the short game, the
three step drop and then from the numbers to the
hashes because the offensive line creates natural windows for him
to see through at that point. I just I felt
like several throws today he forced it and he was
trying to get it down the field, trying to make
an explosive play happen to jumpstart this offense, and the Patriots'

(37:50):
secondary almost came up with a couple of picks that
would have been even more so a nail on the coffin. Right, So,
I think for the Panthers, is it Bryce Young, is
it coaching? Is it time on task? They've had seven
coaches in seven years. You can't keep just starting from scratch.
I think the problem for the Panthers is they don't
know what they have in Bryce Young, they don't know

(38:10):
what they have in Dave Canalis, and they're going to
have to stay the course and figure it out surround
them with a few more weapons before they can identify
the true weak spot.

Speaker 3 (38:18):
Great point, Jen, I was gonna that was My next
question is like, what's the identity of the Panthers? I mean,
when I watched him play, it seems like every game
is a different game, and obviously it is in the NFL.

Speaker 2 (38:28):
But what is their identity? Do they want to run
the ball and be a play action team or do
they want Bryance Young to be the guy right now?

Speaker 12 (38:37):
I think they'd love for Bryce Young to be the
guy right now. But look, it's consistency, right to your point.
You can't be fabulous one week and then lay down
and die the next. And he was extremely frustrated on
the sideline today, throwing his helmet, not participating in the
huddle with some of the other players during TV tiveeouts,
which is not a big huddle guy anyway. But to me,

(38:58):
I've been doing this fifteen years. This is my fifteenth
year on the sideline. It's a great sign of leadership
when the chips are down, when your quarterback walks over
and encourages everybody and brings everybody together, it shows leadership.
It calms everybody down. I know who's doing that today,
Chuba Hubbard. But Bryce is going to have to decide
how he's going to handle these these low marks, low

(39:20):
points in the season. How what does he want his
reputation and his personal identity to be before the team
can know if they can count on him in those situations.

Speaker 2 (39:28):
Yeah, he has to play better, Jan, I think that
will help him with with the leadership process as well.

Speaker 12 (39:33):
Absolutely, Jen Hale.

Speaker 2 (39:35):
Saw the Patriots route the Panthers today forty two to
thirteen in Foxborough. I know those games aren't the easiest, Jen,
so kudos to get through it. It was a one
sided affair. We appreciate the time and we'll talk to
you again soon. Thanks so much, Thanks Jan, thanks for
having me Jen Hale. Watching the Patriots take care of
the Panthers. Right now, the Chiefs are taking care of

(39:55):
the Ravens twenty the seven nearing halftime, Kansas City up.
But the Ravens have the ball near midfield that Colt's
touchdown ed Ni Mitchell fumbled it going into the end zone.
Tried to do the putting the football out in his arm,
he was kind of hit around the ten yard line,

(40:16):
may have lost his balance a little bit, but then
fumbled it into the end zone. So the Rams got
the football back on that turnover, but the Colts should
have had a should have had at least inside the
ten or at the goal line, but the fumble by
Mitchell costs his team dearly. Rams up three in that
contest underway in Santa Clara, Jaguars leading the Niners seventeen
to six. Well, the Raiders have that fourteen to nine

(40:37):
edge on the Bears at the half, and the Ryder
Cup controversy won't be a controversy. The half point needed
by Europe to get the fourteen and a half they
got it, so there will be no injury controversy for
how Europe won the Cup. But again, great comeback by
the Americans. As things are wrapping up right now at

(40:58):
Bethpage Black, he is carrying Roads. I'm Dan Bayer. We
got fast time with carry Roads coming up a little
bit later on in the program. Plus next hour, Adam
kapl and our Fox Sports Radio NFL in Center will
join us. Plus we have all the info you need
on Major League Baseball. Manzie Blanios is at the news
desk giving us that chase. Here, Chris is here, Carrie
monzy me keep a lock to end zone radio right
here in week four on Fox Sports Radio. I'm gonna

(41:22):
call it right now. We're your information station. I mean,
there's so much going on that we just had. We've
got it for you. We've got the info. We're not
gonna let you down hit carry out at Carrie twenty
five Roads. You can find me at dan Byer on Fox.
That they started in Dublin, Ireland and Neblin the Steelers
taking care of the Vikings but making it much more

(41:43):
difficult on themselves than they needed to in that contest.
Then we had the early window of games with the
Eagles and Buccaneers kind of the same thing there Philadelphia
allowing a couple of big plays by the Buccaneers and
keeping them in the game. And now here we are
the Chiefs maybe doing the same with the Ravens carry
miss a long field goal up twenty to seven, and
then the Ravens are able to cash in right at

(42:05):
the end of the half for three.

Speaker 3 (42:06):
I mean, all these teams and these coaches are so
points hungry now, and obviously you got to score points
to win. But the old school rule of thumb in
those situations in my time, we know Europe twenty seven
long long field goal, you punt it. I'll team that's
struggling like the Ravens were in that second quarter, don't
give them any life and possibly you give three points,
and now Baltimore feels a little bit better about themselves.

Speaker 2 (42:28):
Ryder Cup is settled. It's over. Europe beats the United
States fifteen to thirteen. They lost by zero point two points,
lost by two points. Europe just needed fourteen to keep
the cup. If you don't have the cup carry you
have to score fourteen and a half to regain it.
So you could tie it fourteen apiece, but then the
countries or the team that has the cup would then

(42:50):
retain the cup. The matches would be a draw. But wow,
Europe got the one point that they ended up needing.
Could have been closer at the end. But even with
the victor hovelin injury. If if the rules were different
and they didn't get the half point from that, they
still would have been able to hold onto the Cup.
I want to give Mancy Bolanos just a little bit

(43:11):
more time because of what's happening in baseball. We'll probably
move on from baseball now that we know how things
are settled. I've got some information here, Mancy. At the
end of year update, you said that the Reds are in,
Mets are out. Mancy Bolanos.

Speaker 5 (43:29):
Yes, correct, So the Reds lost, but so did the Mets,
and the Reds had the tiebreakers. So they're headed to
the postseason final walkart spot in the National League.

Speaker 6 (43:37):
They're going to face the Doyers.

Speaker 5 (43:39):
The Guardians won the Al Central y'all, they were fifteen
and a half games out of that. Yes, not long ago,
and they will be hosting the Tigers, who had an
epic fall from grace the Mets and the Tigers epic
fall from grace because the Mets, if they would have won,
the Mets would have been in, but they literally didn't
do anything, and so the Reds got in by default

(44:00):
by the tie breaker.

Speaker 13 (44:00):
Essentially, Yankees did win already against the Oriels three to two,
but the Blue Jays look like they're going to win
thirteen to four against the Rays ats the top of
the nine, so the Blue Jays have the tiebreaker, they
would win that division.

Speaker 2 (44:12):
So this is how the bracket looks. Cleveland hosts Detroit
this week and best of three, the Yankees will host
the Red Sox and best of three. My goodness, Dodgers
hosting the Reds in best of three. We knew the
Cubs were hosting the Padres in the best of three,
that was settled earlier this weekend. The other aspect of this,

(44:32):
by the way, Padres Cubs day game at Wrigley to
start things off on Tuesday, Yes, phenomenal three to eight
Eastern time. Oh oh that, I'll tell you what good
like thy goodness. They didn't put a night game at Wrigley,
like I know, like it's probably better for the Padre
fans to be able to see the team at night.

(44:54):
But with the Dodgers hosting a game, that can be
the last window and you're gonna have, likely the Yankees
that's going to be in that prime window spot. But
Padres and Cubs will get the wild card around going
and again in these best of three series. There's no
that's the higher seed will host all three games if necessary.

Speaker 3 (45:15):
You know what's in this wildcard era now of baseball
with the three game wildcard. The last couple of times
we've seen the team that wins when that early, early
round game picks up some momentum and plays well in
the postseason. So I'm banking on that for my Yankees.
He knows why, but it's always a good sign when

(45:35):
you play well early.

Speaker 2 (45:37):
It should be a fun week. Absolutely. The Adam Schefter
put out a tweet that the Seahawks, who went on
Thursday against Arizona, and in week five to their schedule
to host the Buccaneers, and there could be a conflict
with the Mariners game because the baseball park is right
next to the football stadium. So something to watch for
in how the scheduling plays out for that possible game

(45:59):
next week between the Buccaneers and the Seahawks.

Speaker 3 (46:02):
I do want to ask one thing, though, Dan, I
want to ask one Soto how that money's treating them.

Speaker 2 (46:06):
In uhh yeah, and these sound like a three Yankees fan,
just Mon Soto.

Speaker 6 (46:12):
The Met's had the second highest payroll I know out
of everybody.

Speaker 2 (46:16):
Crazy it's the Tigers being up by ten and a
half games on September third, like this month, they were up.

Speaker 6 (46:24):
By double digits.

Speaker 2 (46:25):
Yes, this month, yeah, this month, September third, I think
was the day. And Demazi says, like by in like
July at one point is fifteen? Yeah, so yeah, crazy?
All right? This is what else is crazy. There's another
turnover in the Raiders Bears game. Gino Smith's just throw
an interception. So the Bears down five, first play out
of the Gates Chicago, I think has the football unless

(46:48):
they fumbled it on the interception. The forty nine ers
just got into the end zone Christian McCaffrey. So the
Niners pulling closer seventeen to twelve conversion coming up eight
thirty two left in the third go for two here,
carry to make him a three point game? Or is
it still too early to start chasing points? Hit the
extra point? But I know these coaches. They're chasing points,
so we'll see, Dan I would I would say if

(47:09):
the extra point was where it was previously, you would
have I think teams kicking the extra point more. But
now they're saying, listen, the thirty three yarder isn't the given.
That's true? If we're gonna be fifty to fifty on
this or sitting on the fence on this, Let's just
go for two. And that's what the forty nine ers
are doing in this scenario. Well, if you're fifty to

(47:30):
fifty from thirty yards out, then you're in trouble anyway.
But I know, I know what you mean, but I'm
talking about for the kicker. That's crazy. Well, you also
have a newer kicker. Even though Eddie Pinero made the
game winner last week, forty nine Ers are able to
cash in that Juwan Jennings with the reception he was
dinged up coming into this game, and he caught the
two point conversion. But now he's on the ground. It's

(47:53):
good seventeen to fourteen, but Juwan Jennings dinged up a
little bit. Rams continue to hold on to that thirteen
to ten league again against the Colts late in the
third quarter, about three minutes to go and the Chiefs
through the Ravens twentyut of ten. I want to ask
you about the start of the day we mentioned in Ireland.
Steelers take care of the Vikings. Yep, Aaron Rodgers. Do

(48:13):
you think Aaron Rodgers a nice game? Yep? Really aided
by the touchdown pass the DK metcalf eighty yards boosts
up those stats. Is that revenge? Is that Rogers putting
that in the back of his head that the Vikings
could have been an opportunity for him this offseason, and
then then deciding to stick with JJ McCarthy at all.

(48:34):
Do you think any of that played into Rogers' possible
motivation today?

Speaker 3 (48:38):
Well, I mean football players and sports players in general
motivated by different things. I'm sure That's had something that
was something there, but I don't think so. I mean,
he's in a situation now where he's on a team
that's I'm sure they feel like they can win a
lot of games now at this point, and so he's
still thinking about that. That would be at a disservice

(48:59):
for him, I feel, But yeah, you never know, Dan.

Speaker 2 (49:02):
I listen Baker Mayfield last time. Yeah, you know exactly
what I'm gonna say. Baker Mayfield was mad at Steve
Wilkes because it was the interim coach that didn't want
to keep him around in Carolina, like he had to
clout to fact and Milk said as much on Friday
when talking about it. So it may sound ridiculous that
I'm saying Aaron Rodgers got revenge or had that in

(49:25):
the back of his mind. However, I wouldn't put it
past some of these athletes. An Rodgers eighteen of twenty two,
two hundred yards. There was a point where he and
Carson Wentz didn't let the football touch the ground till
about three minutes to go in the first half. Now
Wentz through an interception. It was just caught by the
other you know, caught by Pittsburgh. However, they were keeping

(49:45):
the ball up. Wentz by the way, forty of thirty six,
three hundred and fifty yards, two touchdowns, two interceptions. I
think the numbers are misleading, yes, because of where Minnesota
was in the game. I think if you're watching that game,
you're saying yourself, Okay, to talk about Carson Wentz taking
over for JJ McCarthy is pretty silly. Yeah, And in Minnesota,

(50:10):
you're gonna look at the box score and you're gonna
see the numbers and you're going to say, hmm, I
find that talks just silly on the surface. Because of
all the different options the Vikings. Vikings could have kept
Sam Darnold, Yep, they could have signed Aaron Rodgers. They're
not gonna all of a sudden say, guess what, Carson
Wentz is our guy. Like they have gone in on
JJ McCarthy for the variety of reasons, and I think
that today was a reason. Despite the good stat line

(50:32):
at the end shows that JJ McCarthy is their quarterback
for the rest of the seas.

Speaker 3 (50:36):
Yeah, I don't think there's gonna be a quarterback controversy there.
I do think, and we've talked about this, Dan, I
thought Minnesota would take a step back this year. I
thought Detroit and I thought Green Bay would be the
cream of the clop of the division. And I left
watching that game early this morning feeling the same way.
There's something a little bit off with Minnesota. It's not

(50:56):
as Crisp obviously new quarterback in that situation, but even
outside of that, they've had injuries in the Harrison Smith
has been in and out, like there isn't that foundation.

Speaker 2 (51:06):
It's not as solid as it was last year. They
also lost Ryan Kelly to an apparent concussion today. Their
center right tackle also lost to today's game, so vikings
on the offensive line could be a little dinged up.
They stay overseas, they play the Browns in London coming
up in Week five, so we'll see how Minnesota adapts
to that. Bears have the football fourteen to nine. Remember

(51:28):
a week ago, if you saw it on Fast Times
with Kerrie Rhodes, the Bears ran a flea flicker that
worked out well. It was a sixty five year touchdown
pass last week to Luther Burden the third and then
now the Bears did a fake flee flicker where DeAndre
Swift kept the football. However, a Bear's penalty has them
backed up. So it's second and twenty two in a

(51:49):
fourteen to nine game, just underway in the second half.
But Ben Johnson pulling out his bag of tricks early
and off in the season for the Bears. He's going
to be creative. This team is. They're so puzzling, they
are talented.

Speaker 3 (52:04):
They have a chance to go in here and win
this game and put themselves at two and two and
feel really good about themselves. But keep shooting themselves in
the foot tipped interceptions when they're going in for a
touchdown and penalty. So this team has a lot to
kind of sift through and they need to do it
really quickly.

Speaker 2 (52:22):

forget that's promo code Fox Game all right. Jaguar's up
three on the Niners midway through the third quarter. Bears

(52:44):
facing a third down and five just underway in the
second half at the Raiders thirty five yard line. They're
just underway in Kansas City, Chiefs holding that twenty to
ten lead on the Ravens, while the Rams and Colts
getting near the end of the first third quarter thirteen
to ten. La cantinues to leave the Colts all What
could have been ed Ni Mitchell fumbling as he was

(53:04):
walking into the end zone ended up being a touchback.
Otherwise the Colts would have been in front and the
Bears convert on that third and nine. Roma Dunze Halo
Williams's favorite target. You kind of thought this when they
were both drafted in the first round, that this would
be maybe the connection in Chicago and Romadunze has stepped
up to the plate Bears trying to get into the

(53:24):
end zone. He is Carrier Roads. I'm Dan Beyer. Philadelphia
Eagles continued to roll this time in Tampa over the Buccaneers.
We'll break that game down in so much more next
with our NFL Insider. That's here on end Zone Radio
on Fox Sports Radio. End Zone Radio on Fox Sports Radio.
And the Chiefs have just gotten into the end zone.

(53:45):
I was telling Carrier Oads man, when is Taekwon Thornton
gonna get some action here? Now that Xavier worthies back,
all the Chiefs have these weapons Juju Smith Schuster catches
a touchdown, Taekwon Thornton yards out. Chiefs extend their lead
over the Ravens. Like this, Dan, like Thornton knows this.

(54:06):
Thornton knows that I said, don't take him, but he
had Joe back. Now there you go, Dad, Glad. I
got to know you. The single that is out now,

Seventeen point lead right now for the Chiefs on top
of the Ravens. The Bears get a touched down pass
from Caleb Williams to Roma Dunze. They kicked the extra
point just up a two on the Raiders earlier the
third quarter, sixteen to fourteen, but Chicago's taken lead. Riggy

(54:52):
pearsall questionable return to return for the Niners. Juwan Jennings
did return for San Francisco, but right now Jacksonville and
the forty Niners playing a tight contest in Santa Clara,
with the Jaguars up three seventeen to fourteen, and the
Colts have taken a seventeen to thirteen lead on the
Rams as they play in the fourth quarter in Los Angeles.

(55:13):
Joining US now O Fox Sports Radio. NFL insider Adam
Kaplan Adam have you Week four?

Speaker 8 (55:18):
How are you guys? I'm good man. Get another interesting
round of games in Week four.

Speaker 2 (55:25):
Yeah, let's start with the Marquee matchup. In the early
window of the Eagles against the Buccaneers. We saw Philadelphia
jump out, Tampa kind of scrapes their way back, but
in the end Eagles end up getting the victory despite
the late effort from Tampa. Is this just a take
it and we'll take this sort of win for Philadelphia
or what does Nick Sirianni love about what they did

(55:45):
today against the Bucks?

Speaker 8 (55:47):
Well, Dan, it's really incredible. They've now won twenty out
of their last twenty one games. That's going to the playoffs.
It's just hard to believe. You know, the game that
they lost, Dan, last year in Deceummer at Washington, they
had a big Jalen Hurts left the game, didn't return
with the concussion in the first quarter. GJ. Gardner Johnson
got thrown out of the game and they blew the game.

(56:07):
But that just tells you how dominant a football team
they are. And now on the way you set this up,
they dominated the first half. Hurts had a great first half,
Kevin Battulo, the much of the line offensive coordinator were
super aggressive, and then they got very conservative and let
Tampa bay in the game and legals don't have very
good catch rusts to begin with. Baker Mayfield got hot,
didn't have Mike Evin still got hot. They had a

(56:29):
couple plays like that back on defense, included the seventy
seven yarder to Abuca, the first round receiver out of
Ohio State. But they won. They find a way to
win the game on the road where they've lost some
really tough ones. In Tampa they beat the Rams as
you know where they came back and the Ramps choked
that game. They've got a number of wins in conference.

(56:50):
They're one of what four teams that are undefeated right now.
They're really really good. I know they've had a number
of players that have moved on defensively, but they find
a way to win. That's pretty impressive.

Speaker 3 (57:00):
Yeah, Adam, it's it's so confusing to me watching watching
this team play. Obviously they're good, but I still don't
know how good they are. And that's the crazy part.
I mean, they're a super Bowl champion, so we got
to give them their props. But what I mean, what
is this team's identity right now?

Speaker 2 (57:14):
I know they still want to run the ball, you
know what I mean, I have no idea what is
it Adam all right, So it's.

Speaker 8 (57:20):
Funny you should say that. I was texted with selling
bust of the team about that. We weren't talking about
their identity, but what this team needs to do. See,
here's the problem, Perry is they can't run the football
this year. They just can't. They've tried it. They cannot
run the ball. They're center camp Jurgens is not playing
at a high level. Lamb Dickerson number sixty nine, the
left guard. He's coming off with two surgeries. One was

(57:45):
a knee surgery after the Super Bowl and then he
adam miniska surgery a trim right before the season started,
so he's not himself. People. It's a little bit heavy,
so they can't run it. And when they throw it
with all that talent, they're pretty successful. But they've been
so conservative. Like you saw the first half if you
watched the game, they came out really aggressive and then

(58:06):
they got conservative. Tampa Bay stopped blitzing. They're like, you
know what, let them run the football because they can't
run it, and they got and Tampa Bay gotten back
in the game, so they got to be more aggressive.
Throw the entire game. That's the way they're going to win.
I know that's not the way that I'm sure Barkley
would like it, but you know what, by throwing it,
that's the way they're gonna win. So on your point, Kerry,
they got to find the identity the tennis should be

(58:28):
throwing the football.

Speaker 2 (58:30):
Adam Kaplan our Fox Sports Radio NFL Inside are also
here them on the Inside the Birds Podcast. Find them
on ex at Kaplin NFL joining us talking all things
Week four? Do you want to tell you? The Rams
turn it over in their own territory. Colts recover the fumble,
so Indianapolis up four on the Michael Pittman touchdown reception.
They now have the ball and can add to their lead.
Travis Hunter had a catch in Jacksonville or Fort Jacksonville

(58:52):
in forty nine Ers territory. He fumbled, but that was
recovered by Jacksonville, so they continue to lead that contest
against the forty nine Ersho kicked a field up six.
Chargers lose to Jackson Dards and the Giants today. I
want to start on the Chargers sort of thing because
the Joe Alt injury could be it could be a
big one. But justin Herbert two interceptions is this Is

(59:13):
this a case of the West Coast team playing an
early game against the Giants? How did the Chargers lose
today against the New York.

Speaker 8 (59:21):
Yeah, and that's look, the protection wasn't great. There are
a couple of force throws by Herbert. I think the
Hampton had had some nice plays in the game. Eventually, look,
they were going to lose. I mean the three hour
time for evidence. It's always tough at least darts first
game that they won. But the neighbors injury looks like
an ACL that's what they think. Just so you know

(59:41):
how these are done. He had the Lockman test, which
is a you test the ligaments. You could do that
on the sideline or on the field, you could test.
You could test to see if there's instability, and that
Rightney the times when a club six it's an ACLS
is the initial testing Danburai tomorrow will confirm it. I

(01:00:02):
wish the best for him. It's a shame and obviously
without him it's it's a completely different story.

Speaker 2 (01:00:07):
Yeah, you know, Adam, I you know I talked to
you about Jackson Dart, told you he's my guy. So
to see him come out and play poise, I mean
He didn't put up big numbers, but you can tell
that the team rallied around him and they were excited
for him to be the guy today. So let me
talk about Jackson Dark moving forward in this team. And
I guess the one two parts that could possibly be
a thing with him in camp's gottabuo.

Speaker 8 (01:00:28):
Yeah it's kataboo. Look, he saw the touchdown that he
could run it, he can catch it. They'll get Tyron
Tracy back later this season. That'll be a pretty good
one two punch. What Dark needs is the ability to
get something down over the middle. Theo Johnson defence State
tight end ye guy, I really like. Who's athletic. Who
needs to get the ballmore. He had a nice play today.
They need to get him the ball more. Now, what

(01:00:50):
you do worry about, guys is protection. They don't have
a very good offensive line. They missed completely on Evan Neil,
the first round pick. You don't even play anymore. He's
healthy and active. That's not a good sign. But look
his first start. Just win the game somehow, and that's
not a game I picked up. Although I picked I
think I'm nine to three versus spread today.

Speaker 2 (01:01:10):
Said I said, I called you earlier, Dan Adam I.

Speaker 8 (01:01:13):
Thought, by the way, I thought that I picked the
Chargers to cover. I'll admit it, I got that one wrong.
I'll miit that one.

Speaker 2 (01:01:19):
Adam Kaplan joining us here on Fox Sports Radio. Last
one for me. Good week for the Lions. But I'm
curious what happens with the Browns here because Joe Flacco
on that offense just don't have any anything going. I mean,
you know, shoud or Sanders is obviously always a topic
of conversation with Dylan Gabriel is the backup. What do

(01:01:40):
the Browns do to maybe try to get some positive
things going offensively?

Speaker 8 (01:01:45):
They got it, they gotta make a change. I mean,
and I thought jose Anti seven. It's nothing against him personally,
but he looks shot that they can't get anything done.
I mean it went like I thought, Oh, it's funny
because they went up seven nothing. I'm like, wow, I'm
gonna get this one wrong. Then the Lion splitzed them,
and then then they had they took control of the
game till Gabriel come in late. They need to make

(01:02:06):
them move and go to Gabriel and then Iventure get
Sanders ready. I mean, look, they do have a win
and somehow they Obviously they won against the Packers because
the defense played well, but the defense struggled a bit today. Yeah,
within the next couple of weeks they got to go
to Gabriel. It's just seems obvious. Coaches will tell you
sometimes we kind of know it's obvious. And you're also

(01:02:28):
trying to help your quarterback. As your quarterback is struggling badly.
Black was not playing well. They need to make the change.

Speaker 3 (01:02:33):
Well, last one for me, Adam, I want to go
to a team that I said last week was my biggest,
biggest disappointment so far, and of course you know they
come back this week and play well. The Falcons Pick
Pennis had a great game. I think he actually realized
that he had Drake g London out there and fed
them the ball a little bit.

Speaker 2 (01:02:52):
But talk about them. There's a big win over the
Commanders today.

Speaker 8 (01:02:55):
It was and Darnell Mooney got hurt unfortunately, but yeah,
look they got Robinson the ball and then uh they
went to the big running back to close the game out,
which I like to give them BIU. So yeah, look,
I really thought that Jack Robinson, their play caller, need
to beat a little bit more aggressive, get the ball,
do on field carry. You're absolutely right, So that was
really good something to build on. They've underachieved this season.

(01:03:18):
They made it the change. I kill you Jawn as
a receivers coach. They got to get fit Scott his
touchdown there, Yep, they got to spread the ball around it.
See a little bit more aggressive. Zach Robinson out of
a shell, dude. This is the thing, Harry, with young
play callers sometimes they just want to win and they
feel like, if we just run the football, we want
to turn it over. That's an awful way to coach

(01:03:38):
when you have the offensive talent Falcons have.

Speaker 2 (01:03:41):
He's Adam Kaplin, our Fox Sports radio insider. Hear him
on the Inside the Birds Podcast. Find him on ex
at Kaplin NFL. Thanks Adam to talk to your week
five sounds got good? Right up, He's carry roads. I'm
Dan Byer. Let's go to the news desk Monti Belanos
giving us an update. Another score in the Las Vegas
and in Los Angeles? What's going on? Manzi?

Speaker 5 (01:04:01):
Too much is going on? Dan actually trying to keep
up with all of this. But what a fun day.

Speaker 13 (01:04:06):
Yeah, all right, let's start in La Why not the
Rams are now down.

Speaker 6 (01:04:11):
To the Colts. Cults have taken the lead.

Speaker 5 (01:04:13):
It's twenty to thirteen, still early in the fourth quarter
at Sofi Stadium.

Speaker 6 (01:04:17):
The Jaguars still on top of the jaw the forty
nine ers. Excuse me, twenty to fourteen on.

Speaker 2 (01:04:22):
No, no, no, we have a houpdate. The Jaguars just
have gotten into the end zone.

Speaker 6 (01:04:29):
We'll get into the en zone literally right now.

Speaker 2 (01:04:33):
That's what we're here for.

Speaker 6 (01:04:34):
Yes, thank you, Washington, thank you.

Speaker 2 (01:04:37):
Ends up scoring on the punt return for Jacksonville.

Speaker 6 (01:04:39):
That was quick. That was quick.

Speaker 5 (01:04:41):
The Chiefs did extend their lead over the Ravens Patrick
Mahomes with his third touchdown pass of the day to
Taekwon Thorn, which you were celebrating.

Speaker 6 (01:04:49):
And dancing over there.

Speaker 5 (01:04:50):
But Patrick Mahomes did become the youngest quarterback to throw
two hundred and fifty touchdown passes in NFL history.

Speaker 6 (01:04:55):
Right now, they're on top of the Ravens.

Speaker 5 (01:04:56):
Twenty seven to thirteen with about six minutes to go
in the third quarter. And yeah, the Raiders back on
top of the Bears here twenty one to sixteen with
about five minutes to go in the third Some of
the games that wrapped up earlier. Today, Giants got their
first win at home against the Chargers twenty one to eighteen.
Texans got their first win they shut out the Titans
twenty six zero. Bills stay undefeated as they defeated the

(01:05:20):
Saints thirty one to nineteen, and the Eagles are also
still undefeated four and zho. They handed the Buccaneers their
first loss of the season, coming out on top thirty
one to twenty five. When it comes to October baseball,
we know what is happening because the Reds secure the
final wildcard spawn in the National League and the Blue
Jays clinch the AL East title for the first time
since twenty fifteen, so they have the number one seed

(01:05:42):
in the American League. So the Red Sox are taking
on the Yankees, Tigers at Guardians, Reds at Dodgers, Padres
at Cubs. That is the wildcard series. Seattle, Toronto, Milwaukee,
and Philly have a bye and they wait to see
what happens next.

Speaker 6 (01:05:58):
In the WNBA, there is as.

Speaker 5 (01:06:00):
In my final game between the Links and the Mercury
that's gonna tip off in about ninety minutes at eight Eastern.

Speaker 6 (01:06:06):
Mercury leads this series two to one. If they win,
they move on to the finals.

Speaker 5 (01:06:10):
While the Fever have forced a Game five against the
Aces they wanted today ninety to eighty three.

Speaker 6 (01:06:14):
Game five will be back in Las Vegas on Tuesday.
Winner goes to the finals.

Speaker 2 (01:06:19):
Whoo whoo. Man, what a day.

Speaker 6 (01:06:22):
What a day?

Speaker 2 (01:06:22):
Seriously, what a day.

Speaker 5 (01:06:24):
And Jameis Winston also in case you missed it, tweeted
the picture of Jackson Dart sticking the.

Speaker 6 (01:06:30):
W in his mouth. Remember because they won. He's a
great relationship Jackson Dart in his debut today. So Jameis
Winston tweeted that today.

Speaker 2 (01:06:40):
He's a really nice guy. I'm not eating anybody's ws.

Speaker 6 (01:06:42):
You're not eating anyone's w's. I'm gonna get you to
eat my W one day. That's gonna be the challenge.

Speaker 2 (01:06:47):
One Europe is eating the W of winning the Ryder Cup.
But the US could have had the big L to eat,
but they fought back today at least uh they still Yes,
it's just not as big as an L. Just like
like a like an appetizer charcterie board. It's not it
does not seasoned. Well. It's by the way, when you

(01:07:08):
saw me dancing earlier, Mary Mack was like, who's that
young guy in the studio with the good move?

Speaker 6 (01:07:13):
I was thinking.

Speaker 2 (01:07:14):
I was like, Oh, that's Dan, that's Dan dancing. I
realize it.

Speaker 6 (01:07:18):
Yes, I was thinking Brody would be like Daddy or
and Bears. Yeah, that's what I was thinking.

Speaker 2 (01:07:24):
Brody likes to rock. He likes he does. He likes
to you know, I told you we went to the
oasis concept. Yeah, so you know, I've been listening to
it and now he's always uh, he's now saying hello, hello,
is it to be back? Yeah? Yeah, great stuff. By
the way, we have some Jackson Dart not talking about

(01:07:46):
Jameis Winston. This is what Jackson Dart had to say
after the game about the other quarterback in New York,
the guy that he replaced and for a little bit
and today's went against the Chargers, replaced him. Here's what
Jackson Dart had to say about Russell Wilson and the
in today.

Speaker 1 (01:08:00):
I'm just grateful to have the guys around me that
I had.

Speaker 2 (01:08:04):
You know, I obviously want to give a big shout
out to Russ.

Speaker 6 (01:08:08):
You know, I know that this week probably wasn't the
easiest thing, but he.

Speaker 10 (01:08:12):
Handled it like a professional and just was a mentor
for me, so, you know, obviously, just have a ton
of respect for him, and it goes for Jamis as well.

Speaker 1 (01:08:20):
Just getting me prepared for this week.

Speaker 2 (01:08:23):
You like that from the young quarterback.

Speaker 3 (01:08:25):
I love that little a little attention to detail, a
little not thinking about justin himself. Obviously, when you get
your first chance to get into an NFL game, a
lot of the attention and the publicity is towards you
and what you're going to do in that game. But
to have the wear athal to you know, give give
a shout out to the other guys who kind of

(01:08:46):
supported you along the way. I think it's a big deal.

Speaker 2 (01:08:48):
I think it's a big deal for jackson Jacksonville decided
to go for two against the Niners, didn't get it,
So it's a twelve point game. Kansas City right now
driving against the Ravens up to scores. As you heard
Monts say, they are in the red zone facing a
second down and fourteen from the Yeah, about the fifteen

(01:09:09):
yard line for Kansas City, so they can still get
a first down.

Speaker 3 (01:09:11):
Dan, I got a question for you. Yes, obviously we
know how big this game miss to both teams. With
the Ravens and the Chiefs. If the Ravens lose this
game and go to one and three, what is the
chatter going to be about this upcoming week about the Ravens.

Speaker 2 (01:09:23):
Well, it's got to be about their defense. If you're
given allowing Kansas City twenty seven points, it may mask
maybe Derrick Henry isn't necessarily the same, or the offense
isn't isn't clicking. They got run over by Detroit. You
saw the Bills tear them apart after that big lead
in Week one. I think it's Zach orr in the defense. Heck,
the Browns may have had their best game of the

(01:09:44):
season offensively against the Greetings, you know, so I think
I think that's gotta be the question. I don't think.
I don't know if you're asking me to say it's
John Harbaugh or his status, but I think it's it's
got to be the defense. And that division, by the way,
completely up for grabs because the Steelers are three and
one and don't look like a three to one football team.

(01:10:06):
So like there's there's room for Baltimore to correct things.
And again, it's kind of to the point that we
started the show off with where Kansas City really needs
this game. Yes, So that that's how that's how I
look at it. So the Chiefs knocking on the door
right now trying to add to their fourteen point lead.
It is end Zone radio. We've got the Packers and

(01:10:27):
Cowboys tonight and then tomorrow a double dip. And you
may laugh from the Dolphins down there at Rival last.
I think there's going to be points in this game.
I really do. Dolphins really can't stop anybody. We saw
what the Jets could do against Pittsburgh. Justin Fields has
been cleared. He's going to start. Aaron Glenn said if
he could clear protocol, he was going to start. And
he cleared protocol, and we'll be there tomorrow night. It's

(01:10:48):
game one of the Stagger doubleheader. I like this game
for points, and you know I love anytime touchdown scores.
And so when I go to DraftKings sports Book and
the DraftKings sports Book app, that's where I go tomorrow night.
I know it's not the game that you may want
to watch and the game that you love, but that's
what I'm looking at. Anytime touchdown score tomorrow night. I

(01:11:08):
love Justin Fields just getting one on the ground. Plus
two twenty five right now as your anytime touchdown score
plus eleven hundred as your first TV score. I like
the anytime of Justin Field's getting into the end zone.
All right, I'll stay with the Jets on Nilsen. I'm
definitely not looking forward to that game. But I do
see in anytime touchdown for Breese Hall in that games

(01:11:28):
all right now plus one thirty five anytime touchdown score.

We've got some breaking news at the news desk. Monte

(01:11:52):
Belanios is here.

Speaker 5 (01:11:53):
Yeah, guys, So it's the final day baseball's regular season.
Literally games just ended, and ESPN with the news that
Mets All star first baseman Pete Alonso is opting out
of his contract.

Speaker 6 (01:12:04):
He's gonna enter free agency.

Speaker 5 (01:12:05):
So do you think he was in the clubhouse and
then called his agent while sitting in the clubhouse and
being like, I'm done, wrap this up.

Speaker 2 (01:12:11):
It was already ready to go right up. It was nice.

Speaker 8 (01:12:13):
It was.

Speaker 6 (01:12:15):
Just ended. And this is the news we get. Things
are not good.

Speaker 2 (01:12:19):
No, that was quick. That was a cool wick Wow.
And the final score signing offs four Mets there all
this just end right wow.

Speaker 6 (01:12:29):
Not good.

Speaker 2 (01:12:30):
That's the timing of it is also not good. But
I also think that the timing says quite a bit.

Speaker 6 (01:12:36):
Absolutely they're sending a message.

Speaker 2 (01:12:38):
Yeah, absolutely, he wants out. He's going elsewhere. Et Alonso
on the move. The Mets. They're not going anywhere, missing
out on the postseason. Wow, all right, he's carrier Oads.
I'm Dan Bayer again. Jacksonville up twelve on the Niners.
The Raiders backed up in their own end, but at
least they have a five point lead on the Bears.
Right now, facing a second and eighth on their own
three yard line, it's twenty one to sixteen. They play

(01:13:00):
late in the third quarter. The Rams trail the Colts
twenty to thirteen, but the Rams are knocking on that
door four minutes to go in the contest, Indy up
twenty to thirteen, Chiefs settle for a field goal up
on the Ravens thirty to thirteen. He's carry Roads. I'm
Dan Byer. Moncie Milanios has a look at fantasy hits
and misses. That's next year on end Zone Radio on

(01:13:20):
Fox Sports Radio.

Speaker 1 (01:13:22):
Back to Dan Bayer and carry Rhoads.

Speaker 2 (01:13:26):
You know what's up, Carrier Roads. The Kansas City Chiefs,
Yeah they are. You know, it's not up the Baltimore Ravens.
They are not up. It's end Zone Radio. He's carry Roads,
y'all pro I'm Dan Byer. Week four of the NFL
and the Chiefs Ravens game has now taken another interesting turn.
Lamar Jackson out of the game, yep, because of a

(01:13:49):
hamstring injury. Cooper Rush has taken over. So now down
thirteen early in the fourth quarter, the Chiefs right now
holding on to a lead and they don't have to worry.
Why about Lamar Jackson, who's on the sidelines with a
hamstring injury.

Speaker 3 (01:14:04):
What if Cooper Russ has like this remarkable comeback and
wins again, will be a quarterback controversy.

Speaker 2 (01:14:13):
Really funny that that would go along with the Tony
Romo line of maybe he'll provide a spark exactly it
was terrible. Yeah, yeah, Carrie rolled his eyes. No offense. Listen,
it's the hot seat that you're moving right. When you're
in that spot, maybe sometimes you say things that you
don't want to say, But I don't think that the
Baltimore Ravens are hoping Cooper Rush can provide a spark

(01:14:34):
if Lamar Jackson is on the sidelines with a hamstring injury. Yeah,
they're not loving it. I'll tell you who else isn't
loving it. The Indianapolis Colts Jonathan Taylor just appeared to
have a about a fifty yard touchdown run laundry on
the field in what is a tie game twenty to
twenty two minutes to go, holding penalty takes the call.

(01:14:56):
It takes the touchdown off the board, so Indianapolis now
starts it's out first in twenty from their own forty
two yard line. Would have been a forty seven yard
touchdown run for Taylor. Instead, that comes off the board
and they play more football. Just north of the two
minute warning, the forty nine Ers trail the Jaguars twenty
six to fourteen. That's got ten minutes to go in

(01:15:16):
that contest. While the Bears are driving against the Raiders
down five early in the fourth quarter, it's twenty one
to sixteen. They're going to be facing a third and seven.
So that's where we stand here in this late window.
He is Carrie Rhodes. I'm Dan Bierk, and here's some
interesting words from Titans quarterback cam Ward. But Monte Belanos
has got a lot of fantasy numbers for us, some

(01:15:37):
hit some misses in Week four. Let's do that right now, Manty,
before you start, I want to make sure that you
know that you got to check out DraftKings sports Book.
Be sure to check out DraftKings sports Book and official
sports betting partner of the NFL. Right now, use the
promo code Fox Game. That's Fox gam Me to claim

(01:15:58):
your special offer at DraftKings Kings. The crown is yours.
Don't forget that's promo code Fox Game. All right, Monzi,
Fantasy wise, what do we got?

Speaker 6 (01:16:05):
All right, let's start with the hits.

Speaker 1 (01:16:07):
Why not?

Speaker 6 (01:16:08):
Good stuff here?

Speaker 5 (01:16:09):
Josh Allen, if you had him, he probably gave you
around twenty eight points. He threw for two hundred and
nine yards two touchdowns. He did have one interception, but
he also had seven carries for forty nine yards and
another touchdown.

Speaker 6 (01:16:19):
Right now, he is the leading quarterback of the day,
twenty eight points. Coming in at number two. Drake May.

Speaker 5 (01:16:24):
You knew that, No you didn't, twenty seven points. He
threw for two hundred and three yards two touchdowns. He
also had three carries for eleven yards and another touchdown.
So you have Drake May and Josh Allen right now
are your top quarterbacks. I'm gonna guess Patrick Mahomes is
gonna be up there by the end of it. But
since these games are still going on, we're not talking
about those. This is just from the early window of games.
Running backs Kenneth Gainwell in Dublin gave thirty points today

(01:16:49):
out absolutely nineteen carries ninety nine yards two touchdowns. Also
had six catches for thirty five yards. Bijon Robinson twenty
seven points, seventeen carries seventy five yards, one touchdown, plus
four catches one hundred and six yards. Jean Robinson was
all over the place today wide receivers. If you played
arm On Rossain Brown, you should have. He gave you

(01:17:09):
twenty six points, seven catches seventy yards in a touchdown.
Drake London also came out and delivered, probably gave you
around twenty five points.

Speaker 6 (01:17:17):
Eight catches, one hundred and ten yards and one touchdown.

Speaker 5 (01:17:20):
An honorable mention your tight end Dallas Goddard nineteen points today.

Speaker 6 (01:17:23):
Four catches, thirty seven yards and two touchdowns. Easy day.

Speaker 5 (01:17:26):
Nineteen points for you, missus. Did you play cam Ward?
I'm not sure why, but maybe you had to four points.
He threw for one hundred and eight yards and an interception.
But on a serious note, maybe you did play Justin Herbert,
who has been playing lights out. A rough day today
for Justin Herbert and the Chargers their first loss. He

(01:17:47):
only gave you about fourteen points, which for him is
not great. Two hundred and three yards, a touchdown, two interceptions.
When it comes to running backs, Jacory Kroski, Murrett only
gave you seven points.

Speaker 6 (01:17:58):
He had seven rushes forty seven yard. That's it.

Speaker 5 (01:18:00):
Ramondre Stevenson, why am I playing him? Four points? Four
points guys, nine carries and thirty eight yards. When it
came to wide receivers, A J. Brown two points for you?

Speaker 14 (01:18:11):
Oh what.

Speaker 2 (01:18:13):
Sweet? After the game?

Speaker 6 (01:18:14):
Oh goodness? Two catches for seven yards.

Speaker 5 (01:18:17):
He was targeted only nine times, so he's probably not
about that also Calvin Ridley and Christian Kirk. If you
played them, they gave you about five points. Not a
lot of action from either of that.

Speaker 3 (01:18:26):
Oh dam before you go, two things, real quick, go ahead.
I took it as I took it as a shot
that she thought I played cam Ward. I was getting upset.
And then secondly, remember when running backs they weren't getting
paid a couple years ago.

Speaker 2 (01:18:38):
Yes, they're they're they're very valuable.

Speaker 6 (01:18:41):
I think John absolutely absolutely.

Speaker 2 (01:18:44):
Matzi as she said she was doing early games. Ashton
Genty's got all three touchdowns for the Raiders today.

Speaker 5 (01:18:50):
Correct, Yes, I'm only doing the early games since these
are still going. Ashton Gentsy probably having a great one.
Who else was having a good run right now?

Speaker 2 (01:18:58):
I mean put Travis U Tianna had a touchdown.

Speaker 5 (01:19:01):
Has thirteen catches, one hundred and seventy yards, so he's
probably up there.

Speaker 2 (01:19:05):
Jonathan Taylor would add more if that touches.

Speaker 6 (01:19:07):
Yes, don't get me started.

Speaker 2 (01:19:09):
Those baby started. The Rams and Colts again in a
tight affair. Colts not able to do anything on a
third and twenty eight, so they'll punt it back in
that twenty all ball game. This is what AJ Brown
tweeted after today's game against what's the egos record there?

Speaker 1 (01:19:25):
Four?

Speaker 2 (01:19:26):
And oh, if you're not welcomed, not listened to, quietly withdraw,
don't make a scene, shrug your shoulders and be on
your way. That's what AJ Brown posted on his social
media handle.

Speaker 6 (01:19:42):
And then Pete A.

Speaker 5 (01:19:42):
Lonzo saw that and he's right a mouth at six
oustern three zho two pacific.

Speaker 2 (01:19:48):
That's what AJ Brown tweeted. So you mean he had
a little time to think about it and still did it.
He is such a headache and people wanted to buy
into the egles being like a feel good story and
all the book on the sidelines, people were giving them
free passes. It's AJ Brown is in the AJ Brown business.
That's what he is in. And now with the Super

(01:20:10):
Bowl ring we talked about that, you got even more
reason to only be in the AJ Brown business. Doesn't
matter to him that they're four and oh he wants
the football. I can't. I just can't get with it
that Dan's guy. Dan does not buy skulking. When they
beat the Giants in their playoff game a couple of

(01:20:31):
years ago on the sidelines as they were going to
the Super Bowl, where they ultimately lost to the Chiefs.
It just stuck with me and each time he's added
to it. All right, Rams and Colts tied at twenty
under two minutes to go. Bears kicked the field goal.
They're within two of the Raiders. Niners are in the
end zone. That's a five point game. And we'll give
you the latest on Lamar Jackson as the Chiefs have

(01:20:51):
added another touchdown thirty seven to thirteen, Kansas City routing
the Ravens. He's carry roads. I'm dan byer, you'll I
won't believe what cam Ward said after today's Titans loss.
That's next, all right. The story of this late window
in Week four is Lamar Jackson's hamstring injury. But let's
be real. That game is done. It's over. The three

(01:21:12):
games that are going on right now still have something
to play for. The Raiders are up two, gonna try
to kick a field goal against the Bears to go
up five. It's gonna be Daniel Carlson from about thirty
yards out, maybe twenty nine the forty nine ers in
Jaguars in a tight one. Jacksonville up five, twenty six
to twenty four in that contest, and the Colts and Rams,

(01:21:36):
the Rams scoring on an eighty eight yard touchdown pass
from Matthew Stafford to to two at well. The Colts
then got possession of the football back dead all three
timeouts carry no reason to panic. Daniel Jones throws a
bad interception and now the Rams are able to milk
the clock and it looks like they got a first
down with forty three seconds left. It's gonna be a

(01:21:56):
Rams victory. They're gonna be three to one. Colt stealt
their first loss of the season.

Speaker 3 (01:22:00):
I mean, the Colts came to play, they had a
really good chance to win this game. You can't win
the game with three turnovers. Oo and so again you
give up the big touchdown to go down seven. You
still had a minute and I think forty something seconds
or something like that and three time outs, so had
a chance to get back in and tie it up
or go for the win. Bad turnover by Daniel Jones

(01:22:20):
though I think he forced that ball. He said it
just dumped it off.

Speaker 2 (01:22:23):
And something needs to be clear because I don't know
what's going to happen throughout this week. The Colts are
for real this game today? Oh yeah, tells me that
they're for real. We can look at the Broncos game
and say, well they got they The unfortunate penalty for
Denver's sake on the field goal allowed the Colts to
win it. I don't know how much we learned against

(01:22:44):
the Dolphins and against the Titans. However, this game, going
to La putting forth the effort that they did tells
me that this football team is legit. You mentioned the
turnovers they had none of the first three weeks. They've
now turned it over three times today. The worst turnovers
weren't even the Daniel Jones interception that he just threw ed.

(01:23:05):
Ni Mitchell fumbles after a breakaway touchdown at the goal line,
one of those where you see it, he's about to celebrate,
the ball comes out of his hands, goes in the
back of the end zone. Rams get the ball, so
there's no points on the board. And just prior to
Stafford hitting two two at well for the eighty eight
yard touchdown. Something you're gonna break down in fast times
with carry Rhodes coming up a little bit later in

(01:23:25):
the show, Jonathan Taylor at a forty seven yard touchdown
run that was taken off the board because of a
holding penalty and I'm not even suing how much it
affected the play, but the point was the Colts had
the ball at midfield in a tie game, could have
taken the leader at least could have worked more clock.
That all went against Indianapolis.

Speaker 3 (01:23:42):
Yeah, you just hit on two things right there. I mean,
those two players are pivotal. I mean, obviously this game
will be totally different, but you got to play the
games in you know, if it was a holding, which
you said always, you know, Holden's always somebody likes it,
somebody doesn't. And so again, dropped the ball early when
you're trying to score a touchdown. Neither that play right

(01:24:03):
there is the biggest one though. I mean, you get
a chance to go up and get a little separation
in the game, make the Rams one dimensional.

Speaker 2 (01:24:10):
And they didn't do that. So yeah, ah man, that's
a tough cat. That's a tough loss for the Colt.
I want to double check on something because I believe
that the holding penalty may have come against d Ni
Mitchell on the don't do it. Don't double down on
the event it did. He was the one that was
called for holding on the play that Jonathan Taylor scored

(01:24:32):
from forty seven yards out, So do you make him
take the bus back a long way. It's a long way.
That's three and one. I'll tell you, if you go
through that stretch and near the cults and you said
you're three and one, you probably take it at the
beginning of the year. Yeah, now you know how this
game played out. Maybe you're kicking yourself a little bit.
But the Rams end up getting a twenty seven to
twenty victory cover the number as well with that late touchdown,

(01:24:54):
something that probably didn't look too realistic with about three
minutes to go in the game. We have two five
point games outside of that Ravens Chiefs game, where again
if you're just joining us, Lamar Jackson has left the
contest because of a hamstring strain, but it's been pretty
much all Chiefs today, thirty seven to thirteen. As they
played midway through the fourth quarter, Jacksonville just missed a
forty seven yard field goal. So brock Party and the

(01:25:16):
Niners now takeover down five. They've got the football at
midfield first and ten. They've got one time out in
this five point contest. The Raiders didn't make their field goal,
so the Bears takeover twenty four to nineteen Raiders lead
with about six thirty four to go. You're shaking your
head as well. What happened in Santa Clara, oh brock.

Speaker 3 (01:25:36):
Perty tried to step up in the pocket and got stripped,
so fumble on the play and Jacksonville recovered in the
forty nine ers territory And they got four turnover today.

Speaker 2 (01:25:46):
Win a lot of football games, turning them all over
four times. Nope. In San Francisco two forty four left,
they only have one time out, so Jacksonville still could
get a first down. Yes, it still needs to get
a first down with the two minute warning coming up.
But San Francisco obviously were hoping for other things, considering

(01:26:07):
that they were only down five and had just forced
the Jacksonville miss. Well, I mean, the AFC South isn't
as bad as we thought. Huh right, look at this guy,
you know what I mean. He hates strength of schedule
in the preseason. Can't stand it, can't stand it. Now
they're showing I'll tell you what I'll give you. I'll
give you Jacksonville, uh huh, And I'll definitely give you

(01:26:29):
the Colts. I don't know how good Jacksonville is they
really don't. Yeah, because I don't actually know how good
the forty nine ers are exactly. The Seahawks lost to
the forty nine ers in Week one. If they played
this week, I think the Seahawks win by more than
a touchdown. I agree, So I don't know where they are. However,
I'll give you the Colts. The Texan stink. The Texan stink,
and they went twenty six to nothing over the Titans today,

(01:26:50):
which leads us to cam War. There you go. This
is what the Titans' first overall pick had to say
after his team dropped their contest to the rival Houston
today and fell the zero to four on the season.
Here's cam Ward after the contest.

Speaker 15 (01:27:05):
I mean, we're keeping a book right now. We ask
so we own four. We have this point, We got
none to lose. We dropped a court of our games
and we've yet to do anything. So we have to
lock in, especially myself on the offensive line, from the
defensive line, from the special teams to all three faces.

Speaker 1 (01:27:22):
We have to play together.

Speaker 15 (01:27:23):
We have not played together this year yet, and that's
just something that you know, we want to preach about
it every day every day. We got to do better,
and we're doing that, but it has to show up
on Sundays. It hasn't showed up yet, but it got
to show up next week.

Speaker 2 (01:27:36):
You like your quarterbacks saying that, did you go too far?
Where do you think about cam Ward's comments?

Speaker 3 (01:27:40):
You don't want the quarterback saying that when you're on
four and he hasn't played well. I think a lot
of these guys have been put in front of cameras
and phones and on podcasts and they're you know, their
freedom of speech and the way they speak is a
little bit reckless. I mean, you're a guy that's a rookie.
You just put your head down and work. Now, if

(01:28:02):
he was playing better than what he's played so far,
those words could probably be carried a little bit in
the locker room. But right now he's not in the
position to do that. And so I hope that these
words in this sound bite doesn't come back to bite
him for the rest the rest of his career, because
that can be one.

Speaker 2 (01:28:19):
Of those moments. Right now, they are a mess. And
the reason I say that is because I think the
Texans are a mess. And the Texans beat him today
twenty six to nothing. Jaguars end up getting a first down.
They're not gonna be able to use as much of
the clock as we thought though. That's because on a
second down carry, Trevor Lawrence took a bootleg, tried to
slide inbounds. He ended up sliding out of bounds, so

(01:28:42):
it stopped the clock. So the Jaguars had a stoppage
of the clock on the other side of the two
minute warning. This will take it down to the two
minute warning. But it's yeah, actually, you know what, it's
gonna be pretty close, Like there's close, there's forty nine.
Ers are gonna have very little time left in this contest,
as they did use their time out earlier. As for
the Bears, Caleb Williams with a scramble down five in

(01:29:05):
that contest gets them down to about the thirty yard line.
So the Bears down five against the Raiders trying to
take the lead. Cam Ward's NFL experience is only the
four games, so that's I'm not even a player, and
I think that it's a little bit too early. But again,
they got beat by a team today that isn't really
any good. I take that back. The Texans have a

(01:29:31):
great defense and it's why Tennessee didn't score today. The
offensive problems are too much on the offensive line, I
think for them to beat better teams. It seems to
affect CJ. Stroudsm Stroud makes some great plays today. Woody
Marx ended up stepping up. That may be who their
lead back is now. Nick Chubb seems to be the
injury maybe too much to come back from. I think

(01:29:53):
something we talked about last week. There's at least you've
got some fresh legs in the backfield. That's going to
be better for the tech. But they're not a playoff team.
Then it looked like a playoff team today winning a
game twenty six to nothing. But the problem with the
Titans is there's just never any consistency with that organization
over the last five or six or seven years whatever

(01:30:15):
it was when they ended up Actually it wasn't that
long ago, as the Bengals ended up making the Super Bowl.
But for the last three or four years, it's off
and on, off and on, trying to find that quarterback,
trying to find that head coach, trying to figure out
things out in the front office. And it's a bit
of a mess. And Brian Callahan's probably not long for there,
I don't think that you've seen the progress that you

(01:30:36):
would have hoped. And then there's a new regime in Tennessee.
So I get cam Mord's frustrations. I'm with you that
you can't call your team what he called them when
you've only played four games in the National Football League.

Speaker 3 (01:30:47):
No, and he didn't name himself first. He threw himself
in the mix. But if he's going to make those comments,
say start with the start with yourself. And I think
that's the other part of it, right, Like it's almost
like he threw himself in there as an after thought
to kind of pacified the situation. So that's that's the
That's what I kind of saw when I ran between
the lines of that. And there are veterans on that

(01:31:08):
team that will obviously hold them. Yeah, somebody's gonna fight them. Yeah,
hold them.

Speaker 2 (01:31:13):
They're not gonna fight them. But I mean that's what's
the guy, the defensive lineman on their Jeffrey Simmons. He's
a wild card. And so like for him to hear it,
I'm sure he's going to say something. Yeah, I mean,
I'd be frustrated as well. Tony Collar's got you know,
years in the NFL Calvin Ridley as well. To hear
that from again the first overall pick. The other thing too,
is you have to realize, like where your words carry weight?

(01:31:37):
You and I sitting here listening and football fans sitting
here listening or saying whatever. But cam Ward's probably adored
by a lot of fans in Nashville, maybe even younger fans,
and they're gonna take that and take that for what
he said they are. And that's a slippery slope because
then you get some of your fan base turning on
your team as well.

Speaker 3 (01:31:54):
Yeah, I mean, the word choice obviously is a lot
and in the heat of the moment, you can make
those comments. But I'm sure he had time to actually
think about this. Yeah, this isn't something that was like
the camera's riding his place right after the game. I'm
sure he had that little moment that they give us,
and so he could have collected his thoughts and made
a better, made better judgment of this situation.

Speaker 2 (01:32:16):
Forty nine ers Yes, watching the Jaguars right now, twenty
six to twenty one in the contest, Trevor Lawrence taking
a knee as the Jaguars getting three or more takeaways
in four straight games. Forty nine Ers can't stop the
clock anymore. So it is just ticking and ticking and ticking,

(01:32:36):
and Trevor Lawrence making sure that he was taking enough
time on his knees to be able to run out
the clock and getting those extra seconds that they would
need because it's very close, but you just you don't
want to have to punt or roll out and throw
the football anywhere. Fred Warner just tried to jump the

(01:32:56):
pile while the Jaguars were taking a knee. And now
they're clearing the fracas. There's about yeah that Jaguars will
be able to run out the clock. Now that the
play clock is down to about fifteen, there's forty eight
seconds left on the game clock. Jaguars are going to
go to three and one, forty nine Ers falling to
three and one. As for what's happening in Kansas City,
Chiefs up thirty seven to thirteen, three twenty nine left

(01:33:18):
to go, and again Lamar Jackson leaving the game for
Baltimore because of a hamstring injury. Cooper rushes into the
game four. Baltimore didn't provide the spark that Tony Romo
would have hoped that game, leaving a lot to be desired,
and the Ravens have the Texans coming up next week
and then the Rams and then a bye week, so
that's maybe what we could be seeing with Lamar Jackson.

(01:33:41):
The only game in question right now is in Las Vegas,
where the Raiders and Bears are playing twenty four to
nineteen on the other side of the two minute warning,
first and ten pass from Caleb Williams flushed out of
the pocket, throws incomplete into the end zone. Both teams
have all three of their timeouts in this game. The
Bears and have had a tough time down Ashton genty.

(01:34:01):
Getting some turnovers for Gino Smith has helped them. But
now it's gonna be on Caleb Williams shoulders. Last week
had the great game against the Cowboys. Now he has
an opportunity to provide some late game eroic. Man, it's
to be huge for him in that team and their confidence.
For him to go down and be down five have
the ball for possible go ahead touchdown to win the
game would be a big confidence builder for that team.

(01:34:23):
And so we'll see what happens.

Speaker 3 (01:34:24):
But he's got a chance to kind of make some
of those airport people start switching from the badge in
jerseys to his.

Speaker 2 (01:34:34):
Sold Carrie. Last week we got stuck in Chicago. We
had to stay over night at O'Hare and it's like
three o'clock in the morning and a TSA guy walks
in out of his TSAs to the airport. You know,
everybody's wearing their football jerseys. The guy walks in with
a Tyson page in jersey, Like, what's going on? They're
already turning on Caleb Williams. Williams with a seven yard
scramble gets them the third and three gets out of bound,

(01:34:54):
so the clock stops. It's obviously four down territory, but
Williams legs an obvious way in for Chicago here. I
wouldn't be surprised if we see them use it again. Yeah, No,
he's definitely definitely mobile enough to be using the running game. Here.
We get down.

Speaker 3 (01:35:09):
I think Swift got the first down there. It looks
like yeah, so Bears have first and ten at the
three yard line with a minute and thirty left and
all three timeouts, so very good position for the Bears
to try to go ahead and take.

Speaker 2 (01:35:21):
The lead here. If you're if you're the Raiders. I
knew what you're gonna say, go ahead, do you let
them score? I knew it. I knew it. I don't
think so you have three times, well, no, they just
use one now. But you have two timeouts left.

Speaker 3 (01:35:39):
You're gonna have to use them anyway, So they're only
going to have two downs to possibly run the ball
here and waste a little time. So if they use
the timeouts correctly, I don't think so. Pete Carroll using
timeouts correctly. I'll tell you what, Pete Carroll is really good.

Speaker 2 (01:35:53):
This is true, and it is time and Seattle they
in the second half a lot of times they would
have their timeouts available for them. Is the timeout usage
and the one that they had in Super Bowl forty
nine that on why they threw the ball that ultimately
was picked off by Malcolm Butler. That was always stick
in the back of my mind. If I'm the Raiders
in this scenario, giving up the lead is difficult to do. However, yes,

(01:36:17):
if the Bear score, which it appears they just did it.
They did yep, DeAndre Swift's and on a touchdown run,
it only makes it three point game worst case scenario.
So you need a field goal. You have a minute
and twenty to work. Different have to go down and
score a touchdown in that scenario exactly. I mean either way,

(01:36:40):
if you're the Raiders in that point, the Bear scoring
isn't the worst thing in the world for you. No,
not enough.

Speaker 3 (01:36:45):
I mean again, if they would have had to use
their timeouts and stop the clock, they still would have
had over a minute left with the ball and a
chance to go down and tie it up in this situation.
So I don't think it really mattered. So Gino Smith
will have an opportunity. He just doesn't know if it
seems going to be down one or down three. We'll
find out in the two point attempt here from Caleb

(01:37:05):
Williams and the Bears offense.

Speaker 2 (01:37:07):
It's twenty five to twenty four. That could be a
score of Gami. I don't know. I don't think we
kind of in that score of Gami neighborhood. When you
have twenty four points, Williams ends up throwing it into
the end zone and it gets picked off. So the
Bears will stay at twenty five, one point lead over
the Raiders minute thirty four to go. This isn't just
a game, it's a once in a generation event, the

crazy day of sports. And Fast Times with Kerry Roads.
A lot to get to still here on Fox Sports Radio.
Ah taste of what's to come here on end Zone
Radio on Fox Sports Radio, Fast Times at Carrie Rhoads
about to be broken down. So the Rams got a
big win today against the Colts, and it looks like

(01:38:12):
the Bears have gotten a big win against the Raiders.
He's Carry Roads, Yeah Pro, I'm Dan Beyer, Mary mcotechnical producer,
Shay Mogangarter executive producer and Monte Blanios is at the
news desk and Daniel Carlson's attempt and a long field
goal to take the lead for the Raiders, blocked Bears

(01:38:33):
holding on to a twenty five to twenty four lead.
About a fifty four yard field goal attempt for Carlson.
Pressure up the middle, pressure on the outside, off the edge,
and the Bears look like they're going to survive winning
in Las Vegas. Just a couple of knees. Raiders have
only one time out left. They're under thirty five seconds,

(01:38:57):
so Chicago gets win number two on the season after
Caleb Williams will take a couple of knees. Interesting scenario
with the Raiders because they did play it safe. They
had all three their timeouts. Yep. They had a play
where Trey Tucker went out of bounds and then they
ran two running plays to Ashton genty which were pretty
much stuffed. Settling for the long fifty four yard field goal.

(01:39:20):
It wasn't gonna take all the time off the clock anyway.
The Raiders kind of settled for the long field goal
and the Bears get a paw on it, no pun intended,
and end up getting a twenty five to twenty four victory.

Speaker 3 (01:39:31):
Yeah no, I mean a lot of questionable decisions down
the stretch in this one, and obviously when you're chasing
points and not chasing points. We talked about it earlier
with the Bears, right, not chasing that two point conversion
early they went by one point, right, they don't get it,
missed the two point instead of kicking the field goal.
You know, you just got to play the game the

(01:39:52):
way it's supposed to be played. And I think being
enamored by chasing points early always kind of puts you
in weird predicaments. Kudos to the Bears, but getting to
win and Caleb Williams and getting these guys at two
and two, that was a.

Speaker 2 (01:40:04):
Big win for the Bears. Yeah, and Carrie even said
it when it was happening. Todos to Ben Johnson for
not being suckered into all of that stuff. If you

Fast Time was Fast Times with Carrie Rhoads is next,
but first let's go to the news desk, Monci Belanos.
Everything wrapped up from the late window and most everything
wrapped up from the crazy day in.

Speaker 6 (01:40:42):
Sports, but a day I can breathe now. So much
was going on at the end.

Speaker 5 (01:40:46):
Here another blocked field goal, as you just mentioned, Dan,
a fifty four yard field goal attempt to walk it
off by the Raiders was blocked by Chicago, So Chicago
wins it barely.

Speaker 6 (01:40:57):
Twenty five to twenty four. They improved to two and
two on the season.

Speaker 5 (01:41:00):
Caleb Williams twenty two of thirty seven, two hundred and
twelve yards, one touchdown, one interception in the loss, Ashton
gent came alive for the Raiders offense, and this one
twenty one carries one hundred and thirty eight yards and
a touchdown. The Jaguars held on twenty six to twenty
one against the forty nine ers. Travis etn nineteen carries
one hundred and twenty four yards and a touchdown.

Speaker 6 (01:41:21):
The Rams also held on sort of twenty seven to
twenty against the Colts.

Speaker 5 (01:41:25):
They were tied with ninety seconds to go at twenty
a piece, and then Matthew Stafford connected with two two
Outwell for an eighty eight yard touchdown pass, and then
the Colts got the ball back and Daniel Jones threw
his second interception of the game. Rams got the ball
back and held on, so they improved to three and one.
Colts now fall to three and one, technically no longer undefeated,
while the Chiefs sound scored the Ravens thirty seven to twenty.

(01:41:46):
Patrick Maholmes twenty five of thirty seven two hundred and
seventy yards four touchdowns in this one, he became the
youngest quarterback to throw two hundred and fifty touchdown passes
in NFL history, while Xavier Worthy in his game back
two carries thirty eight eight yards plus five catches for
eighty three yards.

Speaker 6 (01:42:02):
Lamar Jackson did leave the game late in the third
quarter with a hamstring injury.

Speaker 5 (01:42:06):
He ended fourteen of twenty one hundred and forty seven yards,
a touchdown, an interception, and a loss fumble. Earlier today,
the Texans got their first win as they shut out
the Titans twenty six to zero. The Patriots crushed the
Panthers forty two to thirteen. Falcons outscored the Commanders thirty
four seventeen. Michael Pennix Junior three hundred and thirteen yards

(01:42:27):
in the air, two touchdowns in an interception. Drake London
eight catches one hundred and ten yards and a touchdown.
The Lions improved to three and one. They crews passed
the Browns thirty four to ten. Giants got their first
win of the season after defeating the Chargers at home
twenty one to eighteen. Jackson darted his debut thirteen of
twenty one hundred and eleven yards in a touchdown plus
ten carries for fifty four yards on a touchdown. Unfortunately

(01:42:49):
for the Giants, they also lost wide receiver from Eleak
Neighbors on a non contact injury. It is believed that
he tore his ACL, while the Chargers lost Joe Alt
to a high ankle sprain. In the first half. Eagles
improved four and o. They hand the Buccaneers or first
loss of the season, coming out on top thirty one
to twenty five. Bill stay undefeated as they took down
the Saints thirty one to nineteen. James Cook twenty two carries,

(01:43:10):
one hundred and seventeen yards and a touchdown, and the
Steelers pulled off the upset in Dublin as they took
down the Vikings twenty four to twenty one. If you
miss this story, did you guys hear that Steelers backup
quarterback Scaler Thompson suffered minor injuries after getting jumped and robbed.

Speaker 6 (01:43:26):
Yes, in Dublin.

Speaker 2 (01:43:28):
Yeah, they had it in the morning updates on Fox
Sports Radio.

Speaker 6 (01:43:31):
Oh good job. I actually forgot you were here. Jan
I for a hot second forgot you were here.

Speaker 2 (01:43:38):
I know, an awful teammate. I was just talking about myself.

Speaker 6 (01:43:42):
You're fine, all that it was, But I really, I
really that was the same day. Today's the same day
as this morning. I completely completely forgot.

Speaker 5 (01:43:50):
And golf at the Ryder Cup, Europe defeated USA in
the WNBA Fever Stay Alive to force the game five
against the Aces.

Speaker 6 (01:43:57):
This is to go to the finals.

Speaker 5 (01:43:59):
And there's still an other w NBA game, but that's
gonna start about thirty minutes between the Links and the Mercury.

Speaker 8 (01:44:04):
Again.

Speaker 5 (01:44:05):
Whoever wins, Well, it's best of five, so if the
Mercury win, they go to the finals. When it comes
to base ball, Guardians won the al Central. They're going
to host the Tigers in the Wildcard Series and the
red secure of the final Waldcart spot in the n L.
After the Mets and the Reds both lost, pet A
Lonzo said I'm done. Minutes probably after the Mets lost,

(01:44:25):
announced that he was opting out of his contract to
become a free agent this off season.

Speaker 6 (01:44:30):
So that's not good. Also not good. In college football,
Arkansas fired their head coach Sam Pittman.

Speaker 2 (01:44:34):
It's kind of good. Bubby Petrino is a guy.

Speaker 6 (01:44:36):
Now, sure sure sure. Not good for Sam.

Speaker 2 (01:44:39):
Not good for Sam Ryder cup I mentioned, yeah you did.

Speaker 6 (01:44:44):
See see because that was your fault.

Speaker 2 (01:44:46):
I did mention it, right, he probably did.

Speaker 8 (01:44:49):
I did.

Speaker 2 (01:44:52):
That's true. But but Nazi just let's play a trivia game.
Who just checked out their low look before just a
few minutes ago? Was it me or Carry Roads? You
just brought up your phone to make sure because he's
about to do fast hives with Carry Rhodes. I know
that my wife does it all the time. Whenever I

(01:45:14):
see like like this, I know what she's doing. She's
saying if there's anything in her team, Yeah, her hair's
on the right, Dan. So while I wasn't listening to
your Ryder Cup score. I was distracted because Karen was
checking out his look.

Speaker 3 (01:45:26):
Do not put that on me, Dan, I'm multitasthed and
I heard it, thank you.

Speaker 6 (01:45:32):
No, no, Dan, it's just a really good teammate. Today
is just a really good team.

Speaker 2 (01:45:36):
Yeah. He tried to say, oh, we're all great team.
Maybe we all take Carrollton. And now he's just selling everybody.

Speaker 6 (01:45:42):
You didn't mention cup.

Speaker 5 (01:45:44):
You're taking care of your luck exactly, Mary, you missed something.

Speaker 1 (01:45:48):
I don't know.

Speaker 6 (01:45:48):
I'm just making it. This team is toxic, man, toxic
old team.

Speaker 2 (01:45:56):
I got it. Gosh, kim Ward would fit in great
on this team right now. I'm telling you, he'd be
like right now, you guys, good job MANSI. Suly was
the busiest day in sports that and this is like
like there's there's the college basketball, when the conference tournaments
are going on. There's a lot going on. But in
an NFL Sunday to have everything of substance, yes, like

(01:46:19):
of the of the Pennant of you know, of the
the Pennant races, the wild card, everything that came down
to it. Yeah, a lot going on all in this
window as well.

Speaker 6 (01:46:28):
And you've been here all day and there's three more games.

Speaker 2 (01:46:31):
To get to this games. It's the longest week in
the NFL finer at Manzi Blagios. Thanks Monzi, great job.
This isn't just a game, It's a once in a

(01:46:52):
Yes we've teased it. Put on your gym shoes, get
your trapper keeper ready. It's time to go to school.
After the Colts had a touchdown take off the board
because of a holding penalty, Rams ended up getting the
football first and ten in a twenty twenty ball game
with a minute forty four left to go. They took
over at their own twelve yard line and Matthew Stafford

(01:47:12):
did the rest lots of all left side two two's
open hover, the sower catch forty two two down the
left sideline, put up.

Speaker 14 (01:47:19):
Paper tail behind them ten five touchdown down line.

Speaker 2 (01:47:27):
How did it happen? On the Rams Radio network? The
game winner in Los Angeles?

Speaker 3 (01:47:31):
Well, the Rams came out and eleven personnel and we
talked about it a lot.

Speaker 7 (01:47:34):
Dan.

Speaker 3 (01:47:34):
When teams are trying to take shots, so try to
get the big play. What do they do, Dan, condense
splity condense to split. So what that does for the
defensive backs It puts them in in jeopardy. Right do
I come up and try to get be physical that
in that situation? The rule of thumb is to back
up and give a little space there so the receivers
come in, you can't jam them and get them off

(01:47:55):
their time and you run the play.

Speaker 9 (01:47:56):
Dan.

Speaker 3 (01:47:57):
He goes, He gets a snap to two, wins off
the line right away because the defensive back is where
and no man's land trying to get up and press
two too. Is one of the fastest guys on the field.
He runs a corner route, beats him for a big play,
big touchdown for the Rams to go up by seven
with the men and thirty left in the game, and
the Colts couldn't come back after that. It was a

(01:48:18):
big play for the Rams. Here's my question, because it's
a twenty twenty ball game. You're looking at the Rams.
They have two timeouts, Colts have three, So I'm sure
the Colts are saying themselves, we get to stop here,
we get the football back, Yes, we could kick a
field goal?

Speaker 2 (01:48:30):
Is that what this lineup is showing that. They're like, hey,
let's get this stop on this set of downs, because
I think the average person like me at home, is like,
how do you give up an eighty eight yard touchdown? Yeah?
In a tie ball game.

Speaker 3 (01:48:43):
Well, they're showing all out pressure here, right, So they
got everybody up on the line of scrimmage, even the corners,
from which I say right, so the corners even trying
to come up to simulate that all out blitz as well.
I don't like the defense right there. The team has
to go ninety yards to win the game. They have
two timeouts, but you want to make them drive the field,
not give up a big play. And so the Colts

(01:49:04):
defense showed that blitz look and got beat up the top.
Terrible position by them put themselves at jeopardy of the
big play. And that's what happened for the Rams. And
also the guy that caught that touchdown to to a wheel.
Where do you go to school, Dan? He went to Louisville.
Great job carry on the breakdown. Matthew Stafford untouched. He

(01:49:26):
just sat back, threw it the T two at well
and watched them go down the sideline, last.

Speaker 2 (01:49:30):
Little seven on seven seven. If you're if you're the Colts,
this is this is, this is where the the mix
comes in. You're three and one, where you'd love to be.
You had a multi turnover game where you committed three turnovers.
Today you had a holding penalty that called back one
of your touchdowns and another one of your touchdowns was
wiped out because of your turnover. When ed Ni Mitchell

(01:49:52):
fumbled it on the near the goal line as he
was walking into the end so was was not walking,
was running, but was putting the ball out all will celebrate,
lost control, fumbled it out of the end zone, and
they're actually replaying it here on the TV as well.
Kind of got tripped up at about the ten but
then tried to stick it over the line, ended up
fumbling it and points were off the board early in
the second half.

Speaker 3 (01:50:13):
I mean the thing about that, I mean we've seen
that happen when people aren't even around you, Like he
had just got pushed. What does he do, like just
run in and score the touchdown? Do not show boat
in that situation. Young children, young people. If you're listening,
get in the end zone first before you try to
show boat.

Speaker 2 (01:50:29):
Drop the ball for the Rams. They bounce back from
that tough loss last week to the Philadelphia Eagles, got
a big win today over the Colts. I believe the
Colts are for real. I do, even with the loss today.
He's Carrier Oads. I'm Dan Byer again. Lamar Jackson left
today's Ravens game with a hamstring injury. We'll talk about
that one in three football team and also tonight's return

(01:50:50):
of Micah Parsons to Dallas is. The Packers face the
Cowboys on Sunday Night Football, and as we always do,
Ricky's Highlights of the Day r MVPs from Week four.
It's all next on End Zone Radio on Fox Sports Radio.

Speaker 1 (01:51:05):
Back to Dan Bayer and Carry Rhoades.

Speaker 2 (01:51:09):
Week four. Still got a ways to go. A long week.
You had a game tonight and then you got the
Monday night doubleheader. Your Jets brought the Jets Jersey today.
I mean, I think I need to sub it out. Well,
we'll see what happens Monday. If they if they come
to play Dan and get a win, I'll keep rocking.
The Jets. Dolphins will be wearing their rivalry uniforms. The

(01:51:31):
surprise from Thursday was I thought both teams were supposed
to wear their rivalry uniforms. Cardinals did, Seahawks didn't. Seax
had a gray one, and so when I saw what
the Cardinals one look like, I'm like, that's going to
be difficult with a gray and kind of a tan
jersey on the field. H Well then answered my question,
Seahawks didn't wear THEIRS. But I thought the whole reason
of having rivalry games was to wear rivalry jerseys against

(01:51:51):
each other, and that's not the case. How did you
like that one the Cardinals? I didn't mind it. I
thought it was I thought it was unique. I love
the end zones. Yes, I didn't realize that at first.
Doug Gottlie pointed out to me that's the state flag
the half of the sunrise of Arizona, which I thought
looked great. But I didn't have any problem with it.
We'll see the Dolphins wearing theirs tomorrow night against the Jets.
Kind of a midnight navy blue black, sort of look

(01:52:15):
kind of like the Marlins, right, I thought, yeah, I
thought it was a black but then they were spray
painting the field a dark Navy. Okay, so that's going
to be the look between the Dolphins in your Jets,
Kerrie having the Jets jersey that he wore in the
NFL donning our studio along with his Jets bobblehead. Today,
Lamar Jackson has a hamstring injury suffered in their thirty

(01:52:36):
seven to twenty loss to the Kansas City Chiefs today.
I pointed out the schedule, and I think that it's
I think it's important just because of the bye week
for the Ravens comes up in two weeks. You got
the Texans next week. It's a winnable game without Lamar Jackson,
but it's about that's borderline. There's about five teams. I

(01:52:57):
think that you can beat the fl X's defense is
gonna be there. Maybe you'll have to rely a lot
on Derrick Henry. However, the following week you got the
Rams coming to Baltimore, and then you have a buye.
If it's not a significant injury, I would think that hopefully,
if you're the Ravens, you could get him back after
that bye week. But i'd guess, and this is only speculation,

(01:53:19):
that you're not gonna have Lamar Jackson for the next
couple of games.

Speaker 3 (01:53:21):
Yeah, hamstrings are tough obviously if it's a serious injury,
one of those like soft tissue ones like that, it's
always hard and you got to protect them. And like
you said, the Buye's in three weeks, Yeah, so maybe seven.
It's it's it's gonna be tough. I mean, the Texans
you can win, but then Rams game is gonna be tough.

Speaker 2 (01:53:39):
So and at one in three, yeah, you're sitting there
saying again, I think the division still is winnable, considering
where Cincinnati is without Joe Burrow. Pittsburgh's three and one
on the season. I still don't know how good they are,
but they were able to take it to Minnesota today
in Ireland, but almost let the Vikings back in and
the Brons of the Brons and the Browns probably at

(01:53:59):
some point gonna have to make a change at quarterback
because again they were just we were outmaneuvered. Even after
last week's great win against Green Bay. It wasn't like
your offense did anything. You had special teams plays that
allowed you to get into it, and you only scored
thirteen points in that game. So something's likely got to
change in Cleveland.

Speaker 3 (01:54:16):
Yeah, the Browns depense had been really good all year
until this week. I mean, but they played the Lion,
so they're going to score on everybody. So this same,
like I talked about, they're not They're not far off.
And it's crazy because that when you think about the
quarterback play or the lack thereof for them, you gotta
make a move.

Speaker 2 (01:54:34):
You can't stay with Joe Flacco at this point. Yeah,
the rest of the AFC, So look at it this
and I made this point on the Doug Gottlieb Show
earlier this week. We do a thing called Tuesday Morning
Quarterback in the afternoon, a theme throughout the NFL season.
Something that happened that past weekend. Maybe we're not focusing
on my thing this week was everything has gone right
for the Bills so far. Like think about it, like

(01:54:55):
the Chiefs faltering, Ravens faltering. Now the Chargers go to
New York with play the Giants and lose. They lose,
Joe alt to a high InKo spring Bill survive today
against the Saints. They've got the Patriots coming to town
next week on Monday Night Football. They're five and zer
and everybody else is dealing with all these other things.
Buffalo's right now. Just got it on cruise control. Wasn't

(01:55:15):
easy today against the Saints. But if you were to
start the season and say, hey, could this happen and
that happen, It's all happened in favor of Buffalo.

Speaker 3 (01:55:22):
They're in the driver's seat, but they're gonna have to
be careful. I mean the Patriots coming in. I think
the Patriots can win that game if they're not on
their game. And today it seemed like the Bealls weren't
on their game today and they just played the Saints,
but they're gonna have to. Like you say, it seemed
like it's all working out, but they got it. I'd
send calls their way. Ed Oliver and Matt Mulano dinged
up for them. When they get the full health and

(01:55:43):
get back on the field, it will help. But I
