Speaker 1 (00:00):
Are you ready to witness quick NFL fans, Welcome to
the largest tailgate party in the nation.

Speaker 2 (00:08):
Rock from the Beginning, Rock from the Beginnings.

Speaker 3 (00:10):
They're working today.

Speaker 1 (00:11):
Fox Sports Radios Countdown to Kickoff, presented by Naked Legendary.
We're setting you up with the information you need to
watch your team win. Three is the eight game. We're
here to break it all time hard. This is Fox
Sports Radios Countdown to Kickoff, presented by bet mg app.

(00:34):
Now we're live from your tail game. Here's Brian no
h e Ar, NFL Vetteran Jeff Schwartz and professional sports
better Bill Crack Krackenberger.

Speaker 4 (00:46):
Oh what is up? Happy week five to you, as
Crack would say, top of the morning to you. Right, Well,
I get that it's a little bit different. We were
in Ireland last week, right, we were in London here,
so it made more sense last week. That's like Crack,
he's a vision.

Speaker 5 (01:00):
You know.

Speaker 4 (01:00):
I don't have the same reason. But welcome in. Good morning, Jeff,
Good morning, Brac. Everything good. We had a few things
happened in college football yesterday. Right, the menu would be
Miami over Florida State in the night cap, right, like
arch Manning in Texas, they go down against Florida, and

(01:20):
of course in the marquee right, big sparkly letters, Penn
State loses again. They lose to Ucla. Ucla hadn't won
a game. Ucla scored forty two points against Penn State.
That is unreal, man, thanks, not good and happy Valley
over there.

Speaker 3 (01:39):
Not so happy Valley. No one thought about that one yet,
did day?

Speaker 4 (01:44):
It is?

Speaker 3 (01:45):
Yeah, not great. If you're a Penn State fan this morning,
I would imagine you know you two of them wrong
with you, Brian in the mornings on Saturday morning, I
imagine they were excited about yesterday Penn State. I was.
I was six and one in the contest, yest my
loss was Penn State. I thought Penn State was gonna
go in there and smoke the bruins and that did
not happen. And wow it went from last week. Obviously

(02:10):
needed to beat Oregon off that buy. That would have
been a feel good deal win for James Franklin. And
the thing about Franklin over all these years is he
had never really had a loss like this. Right. One
of his calling cards was the ability to dominate these
bet teams. Make the mistake about it, I will bet
Michigan State next weekend hosting Ucla like the Brews are

(02:30):
not good. It didn't change anything about UCLA and they
just laid a flat egg. They weren't physical on defense.
They did not know. You say his quarterback could run,
I don't know. Some put a spy on him a
little bit somehow. And this gets back to the thing
that I think this is so important when it comes

(02:51):
to talk about football teams. If no one trusts your quarterback,
if no one thinks you're quarterback has that juice, your
team sort of plays like it. Right, think about the
NFL today, I think about your favorite college team. Look
at Texas right like you very clearly Art doesn't have
whatever it is, and ju Aller doesn't have it either.

(03:14):
He doesn't have it either, and so your team sort
of plays to that. People say, well, Drow didn't play terribly,
but he also wasn't great because the offense is not
designed for him to be great because I don't think
they think he's good, you know, like that's so that's
all matters, and so it was unbelievable. Look, my parents
are brunal lums. I grew up going the Rose Bowl.

(03:34):
I've seen my fair share upsets at that place before.
Not seeing that though, crack and uh again. To me,
it doesn't change anything about really where UCLA is at,
or even maybe where Penn State's worse than we thought.
I see the commoner frame, well, well, Oregon, Oregon Organ's
winn isn't as good anymore. That's not the It's not
the way it works. It's not the way it works, guys.

Speaker 2 (03:56):
Jeff, you're saying it's just like a it's just like
a one off, like just like almost an NFL Sunday,
any given Sunday, anything can happen, like is that just think?

Speaker 3 (04:08):
I mean a couple of things are true. I think
Penn State we have to so college football. I think
the thing that makes it unique, guys, and we talked
about as often is that sort of situation matters and
travel matters. And you go from playing like thinking about this.
You play in the wide out last weekend, right, you
two weeks prepare for that game, and you really when

(04:30):
when the calendar came out, that was the game you
circle right, everyone came back, that was the game. You
knew your organ was coming to town, Oregan was gonna
be good. You go, you lose that game in double overtime.
You fly all the way out west, crack. Have you
ever been in a Rose Bowl? But a chance, I
would imagine probably not. The Browns, by the way, just
scored again. So if I was the Vikings holding penalty,

(04:52):
though I was the Vikings, I would I would just
have better run defense. That was me, But I'm not
in charge of that.

Speaker 4 (04:59):
So yeah, idea.

Speaker 3 (05:01):
And I think they call the penalty on someone because
it looks like everyone's walking back to me. Judkins, if
he had scored, would have one hundred yards already, like
first quarter. It's kind of wild. Obviously uber talented and
you know, late to training campus. We know, so crack.
The Rose Bowl is really a great environment for the
Rose Bowl game, all right, It's not really great. It
is a hard place to play if you're a little

(05:25):
bit depressed as a team. It is quiet, it is
large and massive and like it's just a hard and
so the situation I think was very tough on Pensley.
I'm not excusing the result, but I don't know if
the Bruins are that much better, and I don't know
penn State is honestly that much worse because they lost

(05:45):
this game. I just that's the sort of college football
Penny State might win out the rest of the year.
I mean, thinking about last year, we thought that Ohio
State was done and they won the Championshi after losing
the Michigan Like, that's the sort of college football.

Speaker 2 (05:57):
Right right, I gotcha. No, I just I just didn't
know you were saying, like, well next week. To me,
it doesn't matter. I'm betting against the next week.

Speaker 3 (06:05):
So I just I'm betting with UCLA. Oh well, that's
more of a like. So I've told you before, I
bet most of the just the big ten teams, teams
I follow forever, and USULA is going to Michigan State
at playing a new Eastern kickoff, so nine am body
clock game, it's gonna be. It's gonna they're gonna start
pretty slow for that way, they're gonna celebrate all night

(06:27):
all day tomorrow. They're gonna hear how good they are,
Like they're gonna it's just gonna be one of those
games where like it's a college thing where I'm just
gonna everyone's gonna better use story next weekend. Michigan State
just got blown up by Nebraska a weird final score,
but the game was actually pretty close for a while.
So I'm just telling you right now, I'm missing a
favor by four and a half. I bet that gets
to like three and a half. I'm all favors gonna State.

Speaker 2 (06:47):
Yeah. So we're just like like we're saying here, wild
game with Penn State u CLA. The reason why it's
so wild for US is, you know, it's a with
a winless UCLA team. They were like a twenty five
point dog and this.

Speaker 3 (07:00):
One twenty four and a half exactly exact.

Speaker 2 (07:02):
Crack don't State was one of the preseason favorites to
win it all and now with two losses, Wow, I
think they are a big long shot now to make
the to make the playoffs.

Speaker 3 (07:14):
Well they are because they're not winning. They still have
Indiana at home and they at Pennston and Ohio State
on the road. Yeah, this is this is a very
unique year in my opinion for college football because I know, Brian,
we talked about all time, like when we preview the season,
right like, you can pretty much pencil in like eight
to twelve playoff teams and as of right now, right

(07:35):
Clemson's out, Penna State's out, Texas out, like teams we
all sort of had is in are out, Oregan's in.
I mean, right now, I feel very comfortable Organ, Ohio State, Miami, Alabama,
probably those four in, maybe Texas Tech, you know five
probably probably in the Big twelve. That's still seven spots available.

(07:56):
Irish will probably in if they went out, Brian, the
way they're playing, Yes, there was a weird game, but
they covered in one.

Speaker 4 (08:00):
Super weird, very slim.

Speaker 3 (08:01):
Yeah, but like they're probably inn if they go ten
and two, especially if Penn State falls off or Clumbson
is falling off, just.

Speaker 4 (08:07):
Like because of what's happening around there. Yeah right, yeah, sure, yeah, And.

Speaker 3 (08:10):
So this is unique cause again normally, like I make
the argument all the time, like collegeo ball is pretty simple, man, Like,
it's a lot of fun. But we know who the
top group of teams that can win a championship is
this year. That circle is like they're very small.

Speaker 4 (08:24):
Well, I mean, go ahead, crack, you got something on it.

Speaker 2 (08:26):
I was just say the same with Arch Manning and Texas. Uh,
he was the preseason Heisman favorite and everyone expected them
to make the playoffs. Well, I don't know, it doesn't
look like they can make the playoffs.

Speaker 3 (08:36):
Either situation, they're losing to Georgia. They're losing to Georgia.
In a couple of weeks, they're they're out, and the
heisman is I think three players at the most and
probably just Carson Beck. I think Carson Bexley with twelve
and zero. He's went in the heisman from Miami.

Speaker 4 (08:51):
That's I'm glad that you you guys mentioned Georgia real
fast here, because compare Georgia to Penn State for a second, right,
So we'll start with, they lost that double overtime heartbreaker.
Oh foze in the house, right like that. Yeah, they
lost a double overtime heartbreaker to your ducks, Jeff right,
and they allowed that loss to beat them twice. It's

(09:13):
essentially how it worked out. Compare that to Georgia. Georgia
lost a heartbreaker last week to Alabama. Right like, it's
this close game, Georgia has an easy touchdown right down
the middle of deep ball, and they drop it. They
eventually lose the game, they don't kick the field goal,
they lose by three points at home, thirty three game

(09:33):
home winning streak is gone. They easily could have looked
like Penn State. They didn't they played against Kentucky, who's
better than UCLA. Almost everybody's better than UCLA, and they
smacked them around. That's what a good team does, and
Penn State's nowhere near a good team.

Speaker 3 (09:49):
You're to me, you're right, probably was the mental part
of it, right, like you're gonna play bad, like take
about you're irish, right, Like that was a weird game, yestery.
It wasn't their best game, but they won twenty and seven,
Like it was, you know, depending what number you got.
The contest number was act I had him, the contest
was twenty and a half. Got pretty lucky there, but
like but like you know, like it was like that
like Day won though, right, Like you have ugly games

(10:10):
all the time. You you you gotta win him in
the end, and in this in this instance the thing
about Penn State too, that's frustrating for me, I mean
just as a I like, I like James Franklin. The
lack of adjustments in this game, We're not there again.
After the first seven times Nico scrambles on third down,
maybe just maybe you put a spy on him, just

(10:30):
just maybe just like try it once or twice, and
like they just did. They didn't do any of that.
He used to do any of that. So yeah, this
season is it's it's really interesting in college in college
this year a small window to me of teams that
can win a championship. I think I think Ohio State, Miami,
and Organ or at the top of that list. I
think I think Miami and and and Ohio State are

(10:52):
better than Organ at the moments, as good as Organ
is obviously, I think Alabama's creeping up in that circle. Now.
I don't even if I'd wager on a single team
right now. Probably Ohio State if you had, if you
asked me the way on the team, probably their defense
has been unbelievable, really has Matt Patricia from the Patriots
is there is there DC and he's kicking butt really
hard to do. And it was another another day of

(11:16):
college football. Man, It's just it's so unique, it's so
much fun. I tweet this out there earlier, like had
a good day yesterday. I'm just ready for today just
to like tear my heart out, just to shreds beat Nfolt,
just beating up my heart to shreds as we watch
the games today. But again, college football delivers every weekend.

Speaker 2 (11:36):
Man, it's just and benham Jam's top five here National
Championship winner Ohio State four and a half to one,
Oregon five to one, Alabama seven to one, Miami Florida
eight to one.

Speaker 3 (11:49):
So low, I don't understand Miami has the best off
the defensive line in the country.

Speaker 4 (11:57):
They Yeah, that's what's funny to me too, is like,
not to make this all about Penn State, but the
buy in for Penn State was crazy before the season began,
and I don't understand why look at their recent history. Meanwhile, Miami,
their recent history hasn't been great either, and there's just
such reluctance to buy in when they're smashing teams, they're
looking great.

Speaker 3 (12:18):
You know, it's really dumb. But the reason why is
MYO crystaball right, is that he's had a tendency over
the years.

Speaker 4 (12:27):
Yeah, he has it, so is James Franklin.

Speaker 3 (12:30):
I agree, I agree, I agree, But that's why, like,
that's the reason why, which again feels kind of silly,
but any people still look at Mario's team for some reason.
I think he's gonna fail. Last night was a perfect
opportunity to fail and they were up what twenty eight nine?
I think was the score, and then Florist State scored

(12:51):
a couple of times late, like he was, I'm glad
that look I had was on Miami. Miami was the
right side the entire time. It would have been horrendous
if florest State's were at the very end.

Speaker 4 (13:01):
I was on Castellanos rushing yards, which is just a
ball of fun. How do you do which is like
you're like scramble and then when you're over the number,
you're like, just throw it, just throw it anywhere. Just
don't take a sack.

Speaker 3 (13:15):
Yeah, that's why I like the rushing attempts for college
quarterbacks because sacks kind was rushing attempt at college football.
It was absolutely insane.

Speaker 4 (13:24):
Is Oreo there, Brian, Yeah, he is. I have hopefully
you're sitting down for this, all right. I have a
shocking announcement in the show. So the thing was, I've
been telling you that Oreo is a female, right. My
dad visited after I had a stroke. He came out
here and he grew up on a farm, and so
we're like, hey, Dad, you know, neighbor Oreo's a neighborhood cat.

(13:47):
He's not ours. And we're like, you check Oreo, Like
what gender is Oreo, and he looks he's like a girl.
So we're like, okay, so Oreo comes over. I'm like,
look how beautiful you look today?

Speaker 2 (13:57):
Oreo.

Speaker 4 (13:59):
My girlfriend bumped into the owners and it turns out
Oreo is a guy. Woo is male. So yeah, okay,
Orio is hanging out today. He's on top of the cabinets.
He's got stadium seating for today show.

Speaker 3 (14:11):
Yes, I got some questions for your dad. I not
look at cat's enemy before. I have a dog. I
have a large German shepherd. It's very clear what he has.
Like he's still natural too, so like they're right there
in your face all the time. Uh huh, I see
it there the cat. I feel like you can see her.
You don't see it. Last night we went to a

(14:34):
friend's house. They have two cats and they're like little
kind of cats, but they're two cats. And my daughter
big animal person but not really cat person, per se
Brian and she's like, I don't really like cats. I'm like, okay,
we'll see. Just the entire four hours were there, just
hung out with the cats the entire time. Just I'm
like the other different, like they're not dogs, Like they're
kind of like, you know, they are what they are,

(14:55):
but I think she might be a cat person.

Speaker 4 (14:57):
Now there you go. Yeah they'll turn you, Yeah, they will, they.

Speaker 3 (15:01):
Will before I like, my dog's awesome. You heard him earlier.
He was so excited for this, for the holy call
that we saw on the on the on the Browns
there and in London. So this game, by the way,
is gonna be gross. It's there's just.

Speaker 4 (15:15):
I'm surprised that it hasn't been more gross, right, like
two touchdowns already. I'm like, holy cows.

Speaker 3 (15:20):
Well play to be fair, but the Vikings are out
right tackle like fourth center on their fourth center. They're
on a different guard. The Browns are out offensive linemen
as well. Dylan Gabriel I I have Dylan Gabriel under
one a two and a half. I was stunned. I
was doing a podcast on Thursday and we were we

(15:43):
were talking about Dylan Gabriel's passing number, and we all
guessed what it would be like one seventy, someone gets
one fifty. It was one a two and a half.
I couldn't believe it. I snagged that thing up as
fast as I could. That's a shocking number for me
in my opinion for what he's faced today. So I
think it's going to be like we had fourteen points early, Brian.

(16:04):
I don't know if we're gonna get many points rest
of the game.

Speaker 4 (16:06):
I hear you, I hear you. It's gonna be a
challenge for either team to score in this one, no doubt.
All right, We're often running. We've got Bill Krachenberger, professional
sports handicapper, Jeff Schwartz, eight year NFL veteran. I'm Brian No.

the BETMGM app. All right, let's do this. We got
a little bit of in game plays here with the

(18:44):
Vikings and the Browns across the pond here seven to seven.
We're tacking down midway through the second quarter. Browns are punning.
If you're on an over Dylan Gabriel Rush yards a
nice little like what nine yard game there? So not bad,
not bad if you're that anything for you guys beforehand
or in game is even better if you have anything

(19:05):
live here.

Speaker 2 (19:06):
Let's give the live line at at MGM vikings three
and a half thirty seven and a half. Right now,
Minnesota has the ball first and ten and they're own
thirty two. This looks like the grind out type of game.
I would have liked that forty and a half. That
was just up there maybe for an under. But now
we're back to well, I shouldn't say that the start

(19:26):
of the game was like thirty six or almost back
to their thirty seven and a half, but yeah, I mean,
if anything, maybe maybe a lean a slight lean to
the three and a half on the dog there taking
Cleveland plus plus two points, Jeff anything, I.

Speaker 3 (19:43):
Think you could take Dylan Gabriel over fifteen and a
half rushing yards. I know he just rushed for eight there, Brian,
But the way this is gonna go, Yeah, he's gonna
start running like they're just this is ain't nowhere to
throw the ball, and it's just he's gonna try to
make plays. A rookie making his first he's gonna run around,

(20:04):
he's gonna try to make play. He's gonna try to
do special things with his legs like he did at
times in organ I think that's the way to play
this one. I like that, you may know, two more
rush stempts maybe for that to happen. They might getting
a two minute drail here soon. You know. Again, young
guys what they do when things don't go well, They
pull their eyes down and start running.

Speaker 2 (20:23):
That's right.

Speaker 3 (20:24):
So I like the over was it right now? It's
currently at fifteen and a half minus one oh five.

Speaker 4 (20:30):
It's not bad. I like the thinking right there for sure.
And yeah, it's a Brian Flores coach defense, right a lot.

Speaker 3 (20:37):
Of I just have the stat he's nine to one
against Rooky Quarterba.

Speaker 4 (20:40):
Seeing that nine one, yeah, right, So he's gonna give
you a lot of confusing looks. You know, you're gonna
drop back, They're gonna be people in your face, They're
not gonna be anyone open. You don't want to throw
the ball in harm's way, so you're gonna tuck it
and run.

Speaker 2 (20:52):
Yeah.

Speaker 4 (20:53):
I think it's a great way to approach this one.
I was on Jordan Mason under before the game. I
like it. Yeah, that's a good one. Yeah, make your
own wagers over there, Jeff, what are you doing well?

Speaker 3 (21:04):
I mean if I give it out, I might as well,
you know, if I like it enough, I might as well.

Speaker 4 (21:07):
Like it makes a lot of sense to me and
Jordan Mason. I think a lot of this is game
script also, especially if the Vikings are trailing. I liked
it even more when they were down seven to nothing. Yeah,
right right, But if they're if they're leading, like yeah,
you run the risk of they're going to rely on
the running game a little bit more. It's ticked down

(21:28):
quite a bit. Jordan Mason. I got it before the
game is around like sixty eight and a half during
the week. Now it's a fifty two and a half.
But that that that Vikings old line is just decimated. Man,
it is.

Speaker 3 (21:40):
One thing that I want to do. I want to
take It's not up yet because I don't think they've
even recorded another rush. It's like the Browns back of
running back whoever it is that, but I think they
haven't even taken a rushers. Yeah, I had one rush
for three yards. You need more a couple more rushes
to get on the on the old prop prop sheet here.
But I think that that I think the way that

(22:00):
Browns are going to run this game. If you think
to run the football, that feels a good option, but
it's not up yet. It's not up at all. It's
not up anywhere. It's not just Ben MGM. It's just
not up because he only has one rush. And I
think people are thinking like we do, where that's a
I see. I've been seeing Cracksky into this backup running
back theory that I have a little bit more here
where you take the backup running back over in games

(22:20):
where you think there might be a little bit of
rushing because they'll get ten carries and sure, And that's
way I try to play some of these. It's basically
only live ways where I make is I take a
backup running back over if I think the game is
going to be a blowout.

Speaker 4 (22:37):
It's funny because it really does depend on the team. Know,
there's a clear sharing. Let's say like Jamiir Gibbs and
David Montgomery with the Lions. Montgomery gets a lot of carries,
but there are teams like Jonathan Taylor is just eating
up the carries with the Colts. You know, so there'll
be weeks or Saquon Barkley, there'll be weeks where there's
not an attempt by another running back. You know, I'm

(23:00):
not disagreeing with you. I'm just saying last.

Speaker 3 (23:03):
Year the Eagles are my favorite. Gain Well, like, he's
nine and a half every week, and he got he
got seven carries a game. It was awesome in the
Super Bowl over nine a half. I think I can
cuss out when he got his ninth yard. That was
a That was a bummer of a loss. But yeah,
I do look at trying to find different ways to
get in that back of running back market.

Speaker 4 (23:22):
Did you guys happen to peak when it when the
Vikings scored in the first quarter and it was seven
to seven, did you happen to peak at the total
at that point? Exactly?

Speaker 3 (23:31):
I did not know.

Speaker 4 (23:32):
Yeah, I wish I would have you cracked. You didn't
check it over there?

Speaker 2 (23:35):
I seen. The only thing I seen was forty and
a half. Yeah, when I when I first turned the
game on, I realized it was seven to seven forty and.

Speaker 3 (23:44):
Right now just made an incredible throw. But there was
a penalty somewhere.

Speaker 2 (23:49):
It's amazing how much your TV is so much better
than I didn't. I mean, I don't have them, and
they're just lining up right now.

Speaker 3 (23:57):
They call a penalty on someone though. Every time car
So Wentz leaves the pocket, I'm like, oh boy, something
bad's gonna happen. There's nothing that's gonna happen when you
leave the pocket.

Speaker 4 (24:05):
It's just very slow to process, man and uh walking
back like it's.

Speaker 3 (24:12):
On the off setting offsetting. It's coming back off sides
on Miles Garrett, I think, and then a holding holding man.

Speaker 4 (24:19):
That's what you're gonna get. You're gonna get a steady
diet of that today, where you know if you're on
the over. But there was a huge plane.

Speaker 3 (24:26):
Yeah, it was back on sides. I don't like how
they do this sometimes, officials.

Speaker 4 (24:31):
Yeah, can I tell you something I hate real fast
in college football, just real quick before we get to
I low. I don't know when they changed this. You
might know this jeff or Crack. But okay, there's a
punt in college football, all right. The ball is bouncing around,
it's bouncing into the end zone, but hasn't touched in
the end zone.

Speaker 3 (24:51):
Oh yeah, it crosses the plane.

Speaker 4 (24:52):
It's it's a touchback. Automatic I hate that.

Speaker 3 (24:55):
I didn't know that. I didn't know that was a thing.

Speaker 4 (24:58):
Yeah, I can't remember which game I was watching. There's
a beautiful special teams play. The guy dives at the
one yard line, like bats the ball out. They down
it at the one. It was beautiful, and they're like, nope,
actually it's a touchback. It crossed the goal line. That sucks.
I hate that.

Speaker 3 (25:13):
I dislike really two other college things we talked about earlier,
counting rushing yardage of the quarterback sets.

Speaker 4 (25:21):
That's awful.

Speaker 2 (25:21):
Yeah.

Speaker 3 (25:22):
The other one, j I don't like the slide rules.
So in college football, when you slide as a quarterback,
the ball is marked when you begin your slide, Okay,
so it's mostly a yard behind where you think you are.
And I think you should always dive head first. That's
always my philosophy anyways, because I think you actually avoid
contact better diving head first than you do staying upright.

(25:44):
In the NFL, when you slide, the balls spotted when
you first make contact with the ground, so it's a
little you get a little bit more leeway. But a
lot of times in college football quarterbacks are sliding they
could have a first down, Brian, They could they slide
half a yard before the first down and they get
marked half a yard short? We all know they got
a first down, Like there's no one near him that

(26:06):
could have taken extra step and taken the hit, but
they didn't. And I just don't like that rule. I
don't think it's protecting anyone.

Speaker 4 (26:13):
No, I hear you. I hadn't really thought about it
from a safety perspective, But if you think about it,
they're really incentivizing you not to slide. You got to
get the first down, and if you see a big,
angry defender in front of you, you want to get
down and avoid that punishment. So the rule is really saying, hey,
don't slide. If you want that first down, you have

(26:33):
to pay the price. So yeah, they might look at
changing that right there. All right, We've got the great
Isaac Loewenkron with us this morning, and he's always diving
head first. He's not looking to slide at all. I Low,
good morning. What's the latest here? Good sir, Good morning.

Speaker 8 (26:49):
The latest is the Cleveland Browns and Minnesota Vikings remain
tied at seven six minutes left to play in the
second quarter in London. Cleveland has the ball right now,
a first down and head at its thirty seven yard line.
They got on the board first. Here's how the Vikings
tied it. Let's tune in Paul Allen on Station Kfan.

Speaker 2 (27:09):
By the way, Cam Akers is in the game, not
Jordan Mason.

Speaker 4 (27:12):
Right Akers, it's a wildcat. They're gonna snap it direct
to Cam Akers.

Speaker 6 (27:16):
He's throwing to.

Speaker 9 (27:17):
Josh Oliver inside to ten touchdown, thirty two yard touchdown
paths from Tenmakers to Josh Oliver and the Minisuta Vikings
are within one.

Speaker 4 (27:33):
And they made the extra point.

Speaker 8 (27:35):
Time the game at seven, five, sixteen and counting for
the second quarter.

Speaker 4 (27:39):
In London this.

Speaker 8 (27:40):
Morning, the Marion County, Indiana Prosecutor's office officially charged former
NFL quarterback and president Fox Sports analyst Mark Sanchez with
battery resulting in injury, public intoxication, and a lawful entry
of a motor vehicle for his allegend role in an
altercation early Saturday morning in Indianapolis. Three chargers are misdemeanors.

(28:01):
Marion County Prosecutor Ryan Meers said in a statement quote
what began as a disagreement between a thirty eight year
old former professional athlete and a sixty nine year old
man should not have escalated into violence or left anyone
seriously injured unquote. The Detroit Lines this morning downgraded left
tackle Taylor Decker to doubtful for today's game at Cincinnati

(28:23):
due to a shoulder injury. In Game one of the
American League Division Series on Saturday night, the Detroit Tigers
won at Seattle in eleven innings, three to two on
an RBI single by Zach McKinstry in the top of
the eleventh inning.

Speaker 4 (28:35):

(28:57):
YouTube and subscribe. All right, So a simple question here,
was this team impressive during a loss? That would be
the Indianapolis Colts last week? Remember how they lost to
the Rams? And I heard a lot during the week
where it's like, hey man, the Colts might have lost,
but they were impressive. They went toe to toe with
the Rams. I didn't look at it like that at all,

(29:18):
where I think that's a staple of a bad team.
And the Colts have had a good start, but bad
teams figure out how to lose games. And that was
a very winnable game for the Colts and Ady Mitchell,
their rookie wide receiver. He fumbles on an eighty seven
yard eighty some yard reception going into the end zone,

(29:38):
had a costly holding penalty on a Jonathan Taylor touchdown.
Like I didn't walk away like man Colts still though,
I was just like, that's what bad teams do. How
did you feel about the Colts last week as it
relates to today's game against the Raiders.

Speaker 3 (29:54):
Well, the Colts underlying numbers are not great for being
the record they have. It's just they're they're just not
And like the defense, they don't get many stops on defense.
They haven't played many great offenses. You know the I
You know the Daniel Jones and how long is that
gonna last? The way the way it is. He threw
some batter receptions the other day, Like I just don't

(30:16):
really buy them. I have it most of the year.
I'm not gonna start today. I actually like the Raiders
is one of my favorite players of the week. They'll
be in the crack child. Hopefully it's still above seven
or at seven at the time. The Raiders are like in, uh,
in desperation mode today, like they don't they don't win
this game. They're one of four. It's not gonna We

(30:37):
saw a jet you last week finally sort of pick
up a little bit. It submit the Raiders' offensive line
has sort of settled into what their five guys are
going to be there, moving sort of JPJ around a
lot and trying to figure out, like what what's his
best position where he should be at. So I'm I'm
I'm not high on the Colts. I haven't been all season.
I know they started fast. Uh the Rams up by
the way, I've been in three straight games where the

(31:00):
side you were on, like you were on the Rams
against Eagles, that was the right side, but you lost.
You probably were on the wrong side if you were
on the Rams last week, but you won the Niners game.
Kieren Williams doesn't fumble with the one. The Rams probably
cover and win twenty seven to twenty instead they lose it,
don't cover. The Rams have been in some wild games
when it comes to what the winner of the points spread.

Speaker 2 (31:22):
A's a being Yeah. I was on the wrong end
of a couple of them, some really bad beats, starting
with the Eagles Rams a couple weeks ago, I know
last and then the Colts last week. So the Colts
got their first loss against the Rams. As we know
last week were to be blunt. They were in control
of the game twenty to thirteen late in the fourth

(31:43):
quarter before giving up a couple of big plays losing
twenty seven to twenty. The Raiders one and three really
desperate for a win today. Their offensive line looked a
lot better though last week, and they did not give
up one sack, and they created some room for their
Starbrooki running back to there askeding genty on the ground.

(32:03):
So the Colts are going to want to control the game,
war the ground game more today and Jonathan Taylor leads
to NFL as we know in Rushing Arster the first
month of the season. So let's see if they can
bounce back from their tough loss last week at home
against the Well. Actually today, in my contest, I'm just

(32:23):
looking now yeah, seven and a half. Okay, so today
in my contest in town here with the hook, I
used the Colts on the I mean, I'm sorry, I
used the Raiders on a lot of cards plus seven
and a half. But I see the line here in
Vegas is seven to seven and a half at MGM
minus seven minus eighteen. I'm just hoping that extra half

(32:45):
a point in these contests will be it looked appetizing
for me, so I'm hoping it's more of a grind
out type of a game. And I'm you know what,
I'm actually rooting for the Raiders for a couple other
reasons too, So see what happens.

Speaker 4 (32:59):
Okay, survivor reasons, Yeah, survivor Grand Dcimo, what's going on
over there?

Speaker 2 (33:03):
Yeah, well that's what it is. It is. I'm sorry
I should have mentioned that to you guys. Uh. That's
the reason why I'm actually rooting for the Raiders to win,
because people have the Colts in many of these contests,
and in my Grand Decmo entry, i used Arizona, so
it was a toss up between Arizona and the Colts.
Arizona came out on top. A lot of people have

(33:24):
the Colts, in many of the contest we lost uh
thirty of the survivor pool here in Vegas had the RAMS,
so a giant amount of people had the RAMS and
Survivor fifteen in Grand Decimo, so we knocked out a
lot of people there. So I am rooting for the Raiders.
And you know, I was just there last night. So

(33:47):
I had two nights in a row, did a little
switch off for my For the missus, she wanted to
go see Motley cru Friday night. I went. I went
to that. What by the way that they were. They
were very good. You know, these guys have a lot
of candles on the cake down we all do. But no,
they were good. They were very good. I was watching, like, right,
we had really good seats and like Nikky six was

(34:07):
right in front of us, sixty six years old. Still,
I mean, this guy died a couple of times. I
mean he's amazing. Really.

Speaker 4 (34:13):
By the way, crack, what's your favorite crew song? What
song came out and you're like, yeah, that's the one
right there? You maybe even threw a fist in the air.
What's the one on you?

Speaker 2 (34:21):
I am from the first from the first album, I'm
the Live Wire guy. So I like those songs, which
a lot of people don't know those songs. Of course
live Wire, same old situation. There's a lot of those
songs out. But then, as as you know, I guess
the classic song which they played right in the middle,
by the way, was Home Sweet Home. They didn't play that.

(34:42):
They didn't play that at the at the end, which
I actually expected them to play it at the end,
and they didn't. So so my switch off was for
last night to go see Paul McCartney at the It's
just what a great town to live in. I mean,
had ten minutes away from Paul McCartney, eighty three year
old Paul McCartney up there singing thirty five song set list, unbelievable.

(35:06):
And then the night before, like I said, Motley Crue,
it was a cool, cool couple of days there. That
stadium is just so cool to McCartney, where were last night,
that's just sitting in one of the sweets there. It
is just such a great experience.

Speaker 4 (35:19):
Real good night, by the way, Can I do it
like a non sports thing real fast, because crack you
you sent me something with Paul McCartney when he was
doing like the James Cordon like karaoke stuff. That was great,
really really cool. But there was a story in the
middle there. I know there are a lot of Beatles fans,
and there's a story about how McCartney wrote let It Be.

Speaker 2 (35:44):
Right.

Speaker 4 (35:44):
It's a really cool story. It's only thirty seconds. Check
this out. I think a lot of you will enjoy this.
Here you go.

Speaker 8 (35:48):
I had a dream in the sixties where my mom,
who died, came to me in the dream and was
reassuring me, saying.

Speaker 2 (35:58):
It's gonna be okay, just let it be. I felt
so sort of great and.

Speaker 5 (36:04):
Like it's gonna be great.

Speaker 2 (36:07):
You know, she gave me the positive word. So I
woke up and on what was that was she say?

Speaker 6 (36:12):
Let it be?

Speaker 3 (36:14):
Yeah, it's kind of good. So I wrote the song
let It Be, but it was positivity.

Speaker 4 (36:20):
There you go.

Speaker 2 (36:20):
Awesome, pretty cool, right, like so cool?

Speaker 4 (36:23):
Yeah, you never know the inspiration of some of these stories.
That was it mom and a dream. Good stuff, all right.
So we've got Bill Krackenberger, professional sports handicapper, big time
Motley Crue fan, right crrack Uh. We got Jeff Schwartz,
eight year NFL veteran, probably not as big of a
crew fan.

Speaker 2 (36:41):
I don't know.

Speaker 3 (36:42):
The thing I know about Motley Crue is uh, we
won't go there. That's all I know my formidable years
as a teenager who Motley Crue was?

Speaker 2 (36:52):
All right?

Speaker 4 (36:53):
I'm Brian though. Coming up next to Parlay Platter, we
have one selection for you. We pull it together for
a greater payout. We'll compare notes. Next. It is Fox
Sports Radios Countdown to Kickoff presented by BETMGM. It is

That's code countdown in the betmgm app. Quick note on
this Vikings Browns game. Still deadlocked at seven thirty seconds
left until halftime. Brown's at least in field goal range
right now. But Carson Wentz a little bit banged up,
got hit on a rushing attempt on his left shoulder,

(37:55):
so he went back to the locker room early, questionable
to return. It's Max bros. If Wentz cannot go, So
something to keep in mind.

Speaker 3 (38:03):
It's right, Minnesota quarterback maybe.

Speaker 4 (38:06):
Yeah, and now with the Vikings right makes it, Yeah,
Minnesota to Minnesota.

Speaker 3 (38:11):
There you go. Dan Gabriel getting like half his passing
yards on this freaking drive is very annoying. Like he's
got one hundred yards passing now and I think he's
got seventy on this drive. It's it's a the good
news the Browns are winning in the second half. He
won't throw the ball at all.

Speaker 4 (38:25):
Yeah, right, Yeah, he's pretty So.

Speaker 2 (38:28):
You guys are looking for rushing yards over right, Well.

Speaker 3 (38:30):
I have I have a bigger play under one hundred
and eighty two and a half passing yards. Oh okay,
on this drive he has completions of of he's got
twelve twenty seven. He's got basically forty yards passing on
this drive and he's so he had sixteen previously. I

(38:50):
was right on track until this last drive. So it's
kind of a bubber yeah way sometimes second half to
run the ball. Hopefully they're winning, so we have a
positive There you go.

Speaker 4 (39:00):
You're not dead yet, you know, still got a shot.
All right, let's get to the platter. Let's do this.

Speaker 1 (39:06):
Check this out our late letter.

Speaker 4 (39:09):
All right, we just have one selection for you. We
pull it together for a greater payout crack. We start
with you with something you like.

Speaker 2 (39:15):
Okay, let's go to bed energy. M Let's see what
Andrew Miller is here for the Saints. Thirty two and
a half. Okay, good, let's go Miller Miller rushing yards.
I think he's gonna have a decent day here. So
we want to go over on Miller rushing yards thirty
two and a half. Star guys, thirty two and a half.

Speaker 4 (39:34):
All right, there you go, back up running back action.

Speaker 3 (39:37):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (39:38):
Yeah, they involve him most of the you know, they're
gonna involve him almost as much as Kamara this week,
I believe, so the rushing years. Checking to make sure
because I bet it. Yeah early right's the same yards
thirty and a half.

Speaker 4 (39:50):
Yeah, there you go.

Speaker 3 (39:51):
Okay, I'm gonna save my prop for profit up. I'll
take the Raiders here plus the seven points. I think
this is just a great like NFL spot for the
Raiders where they don't look very good, they don't look great,
and then all of a sudden today on the road,
Geo Smith plays better by the way in a dome
on the outside and then inside and the Colts I

(40:15):
just don't think are as good. It's a kind of
a kitching game for the Raiders they figure out their
offensive line. I have the Raiders catch a seven points here.

Speaker 4 (40:21):
Brian, Okay, I hear you on that. I'm gonna go
with this Broncos Eagles game. Give me under forty four
points today? Is the Broncos play really good defense. This
Eagles offense has not been on track. I don't trust
bow Nicks, you know, so Vic Fangio is gonna make
him do a bunch of short, quick underneath type stuff.

(40:42):
I think under forty four is the play now. It
ticked up today. It ticked up this morning from forty
three and a half to forty four. So maybe I'm
a jackass Onders and I don't know, but I'm against
the market. I just think that it leans under in
this spot based on how the Eagles are playing offensively,
what they're up against, a really good pass rush Broncos have,

(41:03):
and I just don't trust the Broncos offense on the
road to just light it up. So I'll take under
forty four. If you pull these three together, you've got
a crack going with Kendre Miller over thirty two and
a half rushing yards. Jeff here on the Raiders plus seven.
I'm on the under. The under in this Broncos Eagles game.

(41:24):
That's a plus six twenty one. It's a little better
than six to one on that. Not bad at all,
all right, coming up next, this team is begging for
a loss, but will it actually happen today? That is
on the way next. Oh, what is going on? Happy
week five to you as we got ball going on already.

(41:45):
It's the Browns up ten to seven at halftime against
the Vikings, and we did get a taste of Max Brosmer.
That is right, the backup, backup Vikings quarterback. He at
least had a kneel down at the end of the
first half. As they went to halftime, Carson Wentz took
a hit on his left shoulder, questionable to return, so

(42:07):
it could be the undrafted rookie free agent Max Brosmer
in the second half. Like NFL life comes at you fast.
The Vikings, according to them, they have like legitimate Super
Bowl aspirations, right, they're talking about a three year window
with JJ McCarthy on that rookie contract. They really want

(42:28):
to take advantage of that. And now all of a sudden,
they're a two and two football team staring two international
losses in the face and a loss to a rookie
quarterback making his first start in an international game. This
is a huge second half of the Vikings, and all
of a sudden they might have Max Brosmer under center here.

Speaker 2 (42:51):
Yeah, I have a line service that says that Wentz
is seventy five percent questionable to return. So that means
that the second half line is being based on that
looks like it's actually it looks like if you look
at the lines here everywhere here, I'm on my live
line service, I would say Wentz is not returning. So

(43:15):
just to let you.

Speaker 4 (43:15):
Know, the line makes you think that crack.

Speaker 2 (43:18):
Yeah, yeah, the line makes you think that they're they're
really favoring Cleveland second half here, and the under too,
The under is is Uh, it opened up seventeen quickly
went to sixteen and a half, including bet MGM so
sixteen and a half under a dollar eighteen, so that
this is what the screen's telling me. But again, I'm
not betting anything second half. I'm just telling you what

(43:40):
the screen's saying. Interesting.

Speaker 3 (43:44):
Yeah, it feels like it's under falling down world hurt
right now, doesn't it to be able to get back
in this game? And it's funny, just like a week
and a half ago. Oht know, man, does Carson Wentz
play over McCarthy. Tough decision.

Speaker 4 (44:01):
It's just such a tough decision.

Speaker 3 (44:03):
Yeah, yeah, and it doesn't very tough to me. I'll
go back to McCarthy, let him play. But hey, I'm
not in charge, right Yeah.

Speaker 4 (44:12):
Well, they have the buy coming up in week six,
so they're off, and then week seven they're hosting the Eagles.
So listen, if JJ McCarthy is healthy by then, it's
one hundred percent going to be JJ McCarthy, even if
Carson Wentz was one hundred percent healthy. By the way,
like that was for that to even be a conversation
is silly, Like Carson Wentz is not the quarterback of

(44:34):
the now or the future. He's the quarterback of the
never right, so he's not going to be their guy
going forward.

Speaker 3 (44:40):
It's crazy, he's not at all, So I don't That's
just it's so funny how we as a football watching
society and take society have opinions like we have to
say something when you could just said like, yeah, I
mean Wentz was what he played like you should in
one game and that's about it. I mean, how many
times we see this we saw with Mariota or the

(45:00):
first game they play, right, it sort of looks okay, yeah,
and the more they play, the worse against.

Speaker 4 (45:06):
Right, that's right, yeah, because I think that first game
probably you're just playing. You're not thinking as much. You're
probably just out there playing, and then you know, you
start to think a little bit too much. I think
back to yesterday, right, like when Drew Aller, the Penn
State quarterback, when they were down by a ton. He's
just playing. He's finally not thinking. He's just going out

(45:28):
there and playing. And he made a lot of good throws,
a lot of good runs. He made some positive plays.
I know it's against UCLA, but you saw a quarterback
that was not thinking for once, and it was helping
him crate a lot better. So yes, yeah, that can
happen with backups in the NFL. Also, hey, let's go
with this Broncos Eagles game. Eagles still undefeated. Somehow, some way,

(45:50):
they are four point favorites today, totals at forty four man.
This Philly passing offense is rough. You look at them
right now. They are thirty first in passing yards per game.
Jalen Hurd's passing numbers are in the toilet. He didn't
complete one pass in the entire second half against Tampa
last weeks. That's hard to do. And the inner diva

(46:16):
in AJ Brown is starting to blossom, starting to come out.
That had a passive aggressive social media post and it's
been the talk all week long. He had two catches
for seven yards against Tampa and it's just like, Bro,
you guys are winning, Like why why does this need
to be a thing. Why do we need to talk about? Hey,
are you calling out the GM?

Speaker 2 (46:37):
Is it?

Speaker 4 (46:38):
Who are you calling out? No? I'm not calling out anyone,
And it just lingers throughout the whole week. Just be
a grown up, be a grown up, be a professional.
But listen, man, AJ Brown as talented as he is.
He's a me guy. AJ Brown is a me guy,
and he's upset he's not getting the ball and he's
letting it be known sort of kind of in a
passive aggressive AJ Brown way.

Speaker 3 (47:00):
Well, look, a lot of wide receivers are are this way, right,
They're they're divas. They just sort of have to be
nature of position. Right, there's a me position, right, Brian,
it's I'm catching the football and you can only do
these things if quarterback phes to the ball. But in
true about the Eagles, I saw Greg Costello, who I love.
I think he's on He's on FSR on Saturdays, right,

(47:20):
Sunday mornings, he's on. He's on our our waves now right,
that's awesome. Greg's fantastic. I saw a quote he put
out this week on a podcast saying like, I don't
know how the Eagles are winning without being able to
pass or run the ball. Right, And Greg is like
Greg is as like no sense, like he's funny off right,

(47:42):
like he's just dry. He's watching film, he's analyzing it,
he's talking about football, like that's just what his what
he is. I know, Greg personally is different on most
of us are a little bit off the air. But
like we talked, you no emotion, right, It's like, I
don't know, they're not winning. They're winning without being able
to run the football or past the football and so
but the interest about this game is that the Broncos

(48:05):
defense has not been as good as advertised this season,
just hasn't been. Last week doesn't count. They're put in
the Bengals, it doesn't count. The Bengals stink, and you know,
we'll talk about the game. Imagine maybe at some point
the Bengals and Lions, but they stink, We're not talking
about them. The Broncos have just not been as good
on defense this season. I think about the Eagles, Brian
and Krack is that it can flip on fast, right.

(48:30):
We saw last year after Game four members Sirianni, there
are two and two, Everyone's like, we're firing Nick Sirianni.
They've lost one game since then, one game since then,
and they're doing enough to win these games. And it
feels like at any point they can just be better offensively.
And do you want to be on the side of that?

(48:52):
Do you want to be on the Denver to day
knowing that maybe today's the day it gets better. I
don't know. I tendantly Eagles in this spot with the
Broncos on a short week. Bow Knicks has just not
gotten better. Man, It's really unfortunately, I like bo Nicks
or my organ guy has it gotten better? So has
it gotten better? And I again I worry that like today,

(49:15):
with all the noise ron Philly's offense crack, today's a
day that they figure it out.

Speaker 2 (49:21):
Well, guys and everyone listening here, this is one of
the only sports books in the world that that that
puts up season wins every single week after the week's up.
MGM puts up adjusted season wins. Like I said, there's
only one here in Vegas. This is it. So they
put up the Eagles right now at twelve and a

(49:43):
half under a dollar eighteen. Yeah, you just can't play
over in that situation in my opinion, even though they're
they're gonna be favoring a lot of these games, and
I would I would tend to lean to the under there.
The Eagles also, just to let people know, they put
up every single time team. So Denver is eight and
a half over fifty, So that's eight and a half.

(50:05):
You lay a dollar fifty on the overseason wins. I
enjoy making those type of bets. There's something you can
bet on and then root the whole season. You don't
have to, you know, sweat every single game, but it's
fun to do it. But Eagles four and oh, they're
the first four and oh team in the Super Bowl era, though,
to be outgained in total yards in each game, it's
almost impossible. How can you be outgained in total yards

(50:27):
yet be four and oh in each game? I just
had to like do research and read it over again
to make sure that this was that I was hearing right.
They ranked thirtieth in total offense so far this season
for an offense that's based on they're just running the ball.
I guess they really haven't dominated that part of the
game yet either, So just twenty ninth in yards per

(50:50):
carry three and a half yards. But a lot of
that is because they're facing eight men in the box too.
So the Denver Broncos they played well in the first
month of the seas they led the league in sacks. First,
defensive pressure rate. Imagine Bill Krackenberger talking about defensive pressure rate.
I mean I just read it and I was like, well,
look it up. Like defensive pressure rate. I never heard

(51:13):
of that until a couple years ago.

Speaker 4 (51:15):
And way into the analytics here.

Speaker 2 (51:20):
The offensive line has also allowed the fewest sacks. Really good,
Yeah to me. This game is going to come down
to the red zone. So the Eagles have the number
one red zone offense while the Broncos have the number
one red red zone defense. So I'm expecting a really
good battle today in Philly. Only real sharp action I
saw this week was on the over. The total open

(51:40):
forty two and a half. It's not like forty four
forty four and a half. But again I go let
bet MGM marketplace and probably lean to that under Philadelphia
season wins under twelve and a half.

Speaker 4 (51:54):
Yeah, yeah. And that's the question I think for the
Broncos today is can they take that next step because
you look at them, they beat up on bad teams
last year mostly they had one win, one real win
against the team with the winning record. That's it. They
technically had two, but the second one was Week eighteen
when the Chiefs were resting Mahomes and they're really good players,

(52:15):
so that doesn't even count. They had one win against
the team with the winning record last season. This is
a spot for them, where if you can take down
the defending champs in Philly, no matter how badly they're
playing on offense right now, that's a big deal for them.
So this is a next step up type game for
the Broncos and can they answer that challenge? And I'm

(52:36):
with you, Jeff, I am completely off the bow Knicks express.
I exited that train, and I'm like, I'm good, I'm good.
I'm just not seeing him progress. I'm seeing him regress
if anything. Where Man, that game against the Chargers, the
touchdown throw Justin Herbert made.

Speaker 3 (52:55):
He missed, and Bonnicks missed so much of that game.

Speaker 4 (52:58):
So many layup throws. Dudes are wide open, He's just
missing them, you know, deep ball's easy touchdowns. He's just
he's not putting it on the money, you know. So
I'm just not on bon Nicks. But uh man, that's
the thing with the Eagles here too, is they're facing
a really tough secondary. AJ Brown's on Patrick Sartan right like,

(53:20):
so he's gonna be shadowed all day long. He's probably
not gonna have a prolific day. How does he handle it?
Because what we got last week after the game where
he had two catches for seven yards. We got the
social media post. If you're not welcomed, not listened to,
quietly withdraw, don't make a scene, shrug your shoulders and
be on your way. AJ Brown is smart enough to

(53:43):
know what the reaction is gonna be. Yeah, and he's
still threw it out there. Everyone's gonna be like, well,
what what was this mean? Are you mad with the
head coach? You're mad with the GM? What's going on here? AJ?
And he's like, no, no, no, I'm sorry. It probably
didn't handle it the most mature way. Shocker can't believe
that happened to Hey, J Brown. I love him as
a player. I hate him in the locker room, hate

(54:04):
him in the locker room because he's about himself. And listen, man,
I know there are a lot of wide receiver divas.
I think there are more non divas than there are divas.
You start, even the top guys, Justin Jefferson with the
vikings is not a diva. He's not even close, Like
I'm in Ross Saint Brown not a diva at all.
That guy is easily a top ten receiver. There are

(54:24):
a lot of guys that are not divas. So I
wouldn't just chalk this up to Hey, these are the
wide receivers. There are a lot of guys that are
just more professional than AJ Brown is and that's not
what they need at this time. They're winning games. Just
be patient, you're gonna get the ball more. Just go
bout your business man, don't be a distraction.

Speaker 3 (54:43):
Last time AJ Brown rosa a stink was like two
weeks ago, and they had a bunch of couch against
the Rams. So whether you reception over maybe to play here,
but the Ram secondary is not the Broncos secondary. I
do wonder if like a trade is in the works
for Brown. He's owed a lot of money though, that's
the problem. But if you're paying both of these guys,

(55:05):
Smith and Brown this much money to have not to
not have the production, what's the point right? What's the
point now? Again, someone has to eat up that money.
But you know there's always maybe a taker. I just
don't know who that taker would be. But it does
feel like the Eagles, you know, they're probably making some calls.
I would imagine just getting to, you know, taking the
temperature of a possible trade scenario here.

Speaker 4 (55:27):
I wonder, because look, I can say whatever I want.
But he was on the team last year, you know,
and we had the we had book Gate. Remember he's
reading the book on the sideline on the bench, and
we're like, crazy, what's going on with this? And he's productive.
He had a Super Bowl touchdown grab, you know, he
had some great playoff performances. You know. So they just

(55:49):
live with it, you know. I think this is.

Speaker 3 (55:51):
Now, but eventually, eventually you can live with it only
so much, absolutely, and normally it's easier to live with
when you're winning. What happens when you stop winning? Absolutely,
What happens if you lose three games in a row, right,
it becomes to a point where you have to do
something otherwise you're not gonna be able to operate as

(56:11):
a functional team if you have a player like Brown
continue complaining about not getting the ball.

Speaker 4 (56:18):
I hear you. But listen, they're defending champs. They're four
and zero right like, so this is to me, like
maybe next year when they Okay, they fizzled out of
the playoffs. Now they lost two maybe three in a row.
Now that's that's the window you're talking. I think. I
don't think the window is right now. I don't think

(56:38):
they're itching to get rid of him just because they're
still winning. By the way, Carson Wentz back in the game. Man,
all those Max brosmur.

Speaker 2 (56:45):
Fans, all those line services that you can pay five
hundred and oneth for, it means nothing what you think
your money?

Speaker 4 (56:52):

Speaker 1 (57:56):
Follow the money real good one.

Speaker 4 (57:58):
Ahi, Yes, we welcome in our good friend, Christian Sippolini,
BETMGM Senior Trading Manager. Good morning to you, Seamus. Okay, so,
I think one of the best matchups of this week
five is the Commanders and the Chargers. Chargers at minus
three at BETMGM. What do you see in this week
in terms of money? Is this close to a fifty

(58:18):
to fifty split? Is there a need for you guys
in this game?

Speaker 5 (58:23):
Yeah, that one's a good one. That for a little bit.
There was it two and a half and you know,
we've hung around this key number of three for a
while now. But yeah, this is kind of the story
of the week so far. We've had a ton of
games where we're sitting around fifty to fifty and this
is definitely one of them. When it comes to the
money line. We've taken a little bit more actional Commander's
money line, So some people there, I guess just taking

(58:43):
Commander's money line if they like the Commanders, and taking
the Chargers this day on the point if they like
the Chargers. But a true toss up game from the books.

Speaker 3 (58:51):
Respective Every week we see those tweets about the bet
MGM splits of where the tickets right, where the money
is at, and unlike last year, it feels like you
guys are cleaning up. Has this been very much a
sportsbook year? After last year the public seem to win
all these big favorites and feels like it's not the

(59:13):
case this year.

Speaker 5 (59:15):
Yeah, it's been. It's been a little bit mixed. You know,
we've had some good results on some Sundays, but we've
gotten a couple of bad results on some of these
primetime games. You know, these primetime games can be the
equivalent of about four or five you know, one o'clock
games sometimes. So I'll go back to that Bill's Ravens
week one Sunday night football game where there was eighty

(59:36):
points scored. We had a game last week again that
that forty forty tie a ton of points. So in
games like that, sgps more likely to hit. So there's
some smaller bets with big payouts and end up happening.
So we've been a little bit unfortunate on the primetime games,
whereas you know, it has been a decent run so far.

(59:57):
You know, when it comes to non primetime.

Speaker 2 (01:00:00):
Guessing, I guess on Thursday night was what was a
good good game for you guys, A good result then
with the Rams losing out right to San Franz Is
that is that? Is that?

Speaker 5 (01:00:10):
That be right? Yeah? It was, especially with the way
those injuries were going for the forty nine ers in
that line just kept cruising up and up when from
three and a half all the way up to eight.
So we're pretty fortunate there to end up getting a
forty nine Ers win when a majority of the money
coming in was was on the Rams.

Speaker 2 (01:00:28):
And how about tonight tonight's primetime game which doesn't really
have any like you know, to me, it's just that
it's an eight point spread, it's Buffalo and New England.
Anything yet or more towards game time you'll be rooting
for New England.

Speaker 5 (01:00:41):
Yeah, I think this is the one of the day
that it will be the one that if I could
pick an outcome it'll probably end up being the Patriots.
As of right now, we're about fifty to fifty money
on the spread. But what I think is, as this
gets closer and me get more public money getting closer
to the game time, you know, I'd imagine that we're
going to end up getting much more bills money in

(01:01:02):
this run up the rest of the way. So, just
looking at the rest of the board, we have a
lot of fifty to fifty games, there's a lot of
one point spreads, especially in this one o'clock window here,
which has given us kind of closer fifty to fifty bets.
So I think with that being one of the bigger
spreads on the board, that Sunday Night football is going
to be pretty key for the book.

Speaker 4 (01:01:20):
Hey Christian, what's a game or two that's not one
of these fifty to fifty type deals that you're talking
about where you do have a clear need in it.

Speaker 5 (01:01:30):
Yeah, I don't have a ton today, but the one is,
of course the biggest spread on the board, which is
the Lions versus the Bengals. We're at about seventy five
percent of the money coming into the alliance, so one
of our bigger needs for sure will be just the
Bengals can just cover win would be good, but just
covering that ten and a half would probably be a

(01:01:51):
end up being pretty good day for the book.

Speaker 3 (01:01:54):
What about tomorrow night? Are people back on Kansas City now?
After that win? Their two and two of your offense
looked much better. They number sitting at three and a
half most of the week. Are people back on Kansas City?

Speaker 5 (01:02:05):
Yeah? As of right now, that is another one, you know,
going into Monday night where we do have actual lopsided
and it is on the Chiefs about eighty percent of
the money. I told you guys last week my biggest
surprise was Chiefs Ravens at four o'clock game. We were
taking about eighty percent of the money on the Ravens.
So wow, this is now, I guess, starting to be

(01:02:26):
the turn of people back believing in the Chiefs and
the homes. So so far against the Jags tomorrow night,
we're at eighty percent Chiefs.

Speaker 2 (01:02:33):
Christian, I'm gonna ask you, let's go to college football.
So how's the season going so far for the books
and bet MGM? And my second part of this is,
so a big college game that's on primetime game or
you know that everyone's looking forward to how is that
in relation to an NFL game volume wise? So if
you get some of the big teams, you're Hilo State,

(01:02:55):
Alabama in Oregon, whatever, Pench State, even so, what kind
of action do you get on that volume wise compared
to let's say just an average Sunday game.

Speaker 5 (01:03:04):
Yeah, nowadays it's it's a little bit different, you know,
over the last couple of years, especially with you know,
more and more of these same game parlays coming through.
You know, NFL will end up being a ton of
same game parlays and US winning and losing a lot
of times now will maybe more so come down to
points than spread. But for college it's a little bit different.

(01:03:26):
There's a lot of states that aren't allowing college player props,
there's a lot of way less sgps and things like that,
so we do rely a lot more on on the spreads,
money lines, and totals in order to get there. So
on average, those games will take, you know, a lot
less than an NFL football game will take, but you
know they're still going to outperform MLB, NHL, NBA when

(01:03:49):
they're all in the same slates. So and usually the
other thing that will happen in college is will have
a lot bigger spreads. You know, you'll have those games
like last night, Penn State is twenty five and a
half point favorites up losing out right. Those type of
outcomes are always great for the book. People put a
lot of moneyline parlays together, so if we end up
getting upsets like that, those end up being pretty big.

(01:04:11):
But yeah, it's just a little bit of a different landscape.

Speaker 2 (01:04:15):
Gotcha.

Speaker 4 (01:04:15):
Well, hey, great stuff is always Christian. Hope you have
a great day and we'll catch you next week.

Speaker 5 (01:04:20):
Yeah, sounds good. Good luck everybody, Thank you.

Speaker 4 (01:04:23):
There he is Christian Sipolini Bet MGM, Senior trading manager.
By the way, nice drive right now by the Browns.
I don't get the Vikings defense at all. Like they're
running the ball down Minnesota's throat. It's like, wouldn't you
just sell out against the rush instead of letting Judkins
just rip off fourteen ten yards? Jerome Ford had a

(01:04:45):
big gain, your guy Jeff right, Like, I don't understand
there's been one play action past this whole drive and
big run.

Speaker 3 (01:04:53):
I can't find no one's putting up a Ford prop.
It would have been over by now. Anyways, it's call
a bummer Dylan Gabriel. He's averaging five yards of completion
and he's gonna go over today. So it's gonna be
frustrating when I lose this wager because this is like
closed it Like I got like twelve yards I think
of twelve yards of CLV and he just threw the ball.

(01:05:17):
He had two straight passes at the line of scrimmage.
It went for like forty yards combined.

Speaker 2 (01:05:22):
That's fruit.

Speaker 3 (01:05:22):
Well, man, it's kind of frustrated.

Speaker 4 (01:05:24):
Yeah, a little rollout screen that just goes and goes,
and yeah, I had a Jordan Mason had a couple
of nights carries the last drive, so that's not excusing.

Speaker 3 (01:05:34):
But he's still he's still at thirty seven though. He Yeah,
probably gonna be fine.

Speaker 4 (01:05:37):
I think should be okay, you know, so we'll see,
we'll see. Yeah, I didn't like that he had a
long rush. I did take an under. I don't know
if you'd be proud of me or not, Jeff, but
I took an under of the longest rush for Jordan Mason,
which made a ton of sense, and it lost what
was it at twelve and a half, which is low
for a longest rush prop but yeah, yeah, decimated all

(01:06:00):
offensive line, outstanding rush defense with the Browns, and they
just didn't set the edge. And it's like, all right,
you just ripped off a fourteen yard brush. That sucks.

Speaker 3 (01:06:08):
That's that is brutal. Fourth and one, they're going for
it here. There's no way they're going for this, right,
They're just gonna snap the ball.

Speaker 2 (01:06:14):
I think they're gonna go. Yeah, you're ahead of us,
jeffs the you're a Mike, go for it.

Speaker 3 (01:06:20):
And Judkins got a first down. I think I think
I think someone jumped off side though it wasn't called,
because that's there. The the the Vikings were pointing and
upset and whatnot. Judkins looks really good by the way
he is running back.

Speaker 4 (01:06:35):
He's given them a lot of juice.

Speaker 3 (01:06:36):
Yeah.

Speaker 4 (01:06:37):
Yeah, you know who gives us juice on this show.
That would be a man that goes by the name
of Isaac loewen Kron. He is the twin s on
Judkins of this operation. I love with the latest, all right, guys.

Speaker 8 (01:06:50):
Indeed, Cleveland has a first down and goal at the
Minnesota nine yard line with three fifty two left in
the third quarter. They handed off to Judkins again took
it down to the eight yard line, so a second
down and goal coming up for Cleveland with the Minnesota
Vikings leading them fourteen to ten, three point thirty nine
in counting. In the third quarter, Carson Wentz, the Vikings quarterback,

(01:07:11):
temporarily left this game due to a left shoulder injury,
but returned right at the start of the second half. Meanwhile,
the inactives are being released for the NFL's early games
back on this side of the pond. Raiders tied end
Brock Bowers inactive for their game at Indianapolis due to
a knee injury. Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson inactive as expected

(01:07:35):
because of a hamstring injury for their game against the
Houston Texans. Left tackle Ronnie Stanley inactive as well due
to an ankle injury. Safety Kyle Hamilton inactive as well
due to a groin injury. This morning, the Marion County,
Indiana Prosecutor's Office officially charged former NFL quarterback and president

(01:07:56):
Fox Sports analyst Mark Sanchez with battery, results an injury,
public intoxication, and unlawful entry of a motor vehicle for
his alleged role in an altercation early Saturday morning in Indianapolis.
All three charges are misdemeanors. In Game one of the
American League Division Series on Saturday night, the Detroit Tigers

(01:08:17):
won at Seattle in eleven innings, three to two on
an RBI single by Zach McKinstry in the top half
of the eleventh inning. Meanwhile, the Browns have just scored
to take the lead on a touchdown pass from Dylan
Gabriel to David and Joku for nine yards, So three
h five left in the third quarter and the Browns

(01:08:37):
with the conversion attempt pending of just taking a sixteen
to fourteen lead over the Vikings in London.

Speaker 4 (01:08:43):
Guys, back to you, thank.

Speaker 2 (01:08:44):
You, I Low.

Speaker 4 (01:08:45):
It is Fox Sports Radios Countdown to Kickoff presented by
Bett MGM. Throughout the entire football season, bet MGM will
offer all different types of no sweat tokens and odds
boost tokens. Be on the lookout for no sweat same
game parlay tokens, parlay boost tokens, and so much more. Yeah,
Asilo said right there, nice throw by Dylan Gabriel into
triple coverage. Believable and he found in Djoku for the touchdown.

(01:09:08):
So Gabriel's played pretty well. You know, I had made
any big mistakes. That was a nice touchdown throw, so
they'll take it. You know, he's looked pretty good.

Speaker 2 (01:09:16):
Hey, guys, I want to give a shout out. We
have a seven year old fan that sent me a
video that's listening to us. My main man over there
in Chicago, Luca, my seven year old, seven years old
listening to us and cheering and rooting for me, Brian
and Jeff. I was like, wow, that's pretty cool. So unfortunately,

(01:09:39):
no gambling yet though they're young, Lupa. But however, in
fourteen years I will be over there in Chicago and
be mentoring you. If you're this young listening, Wow, what
a great kid. And I'll tell you when you have
a seven year old that's into sports like this video
that was sent to me and listening to us in
the background, it just gives me a different perspective in life.

(01:10:00):
There is a future for these kids in sports. And
listening to that at that young age, I hope he's, uh,
he's gonna do well.

Speaker 4 (01:10:07):
That's awesome. Very cold, Yeah, very nice. I love that
shout out.

Speaker 3 (01:10:11):
My own seven year old doesn't listen to us.

Speaker 2 (01:10:14):
I mean, wow, they're a little wow now, you know
what I mean?

Speaker 3 (01:10:17):
My seven year old would not listen to me at seven.
They're older now, but they're stilln't listen to me. Carl morning.
You should have been listening to Fox Sports Radio in morning?

Speaker 2 (01:10:26):
Right?

Speaker 4 (01:10:26):
Is this horrible advice? I don't think it is. But
you know, like you said, crack, this seven year old
can't legally gamble. No, I'm not saying you should illegally gamble.
I'm just saying, hey, like there's nothing wrong with looking
at the lines and making a pick for fun, you
know what I mean. Like you're not putting any money
on it. It's not gambling, but you're you're thinking already

(01:10:46):
of like hey, how would I how would I pick
this game? How would I pick this prop?

Speaker 2 (01:10:51):
Better? Whatever?

Speaker 4 (01:10:51):
You know what I mean. Like, I don't think that's
the worst advice ever. Maybe parents around the country are like, yeah,
that's horrible advice, but if you're not gambling, but they.

Speaker 2 (01:11:02):
Look at it as a business. But it's too too
early in his young career to do that. But I
just thought it was pretty cool at someone that young
is listening to us and a weekly and I've seen
the video that was sent to me. I was like, Wow,
this is really cool. Got to give him a shout out,
very awesome. Ran.

Speaker 3 (01:11:16):
As a parent of someone who is of that age,
I would not encourage my kids to even pretend to
know the numbers are.

Speaker 2 (01:11:22):
Just really yeah. I was pretty quiet, Jeff.

Speaker 4 (01:11:24):
If you notice that you like one, it's just like
it could be a small thing, like, hey, buddy, you
know Chargers minus three today? What do you think? What
do you think is the right side? There's nothing wrong
with that.

Speaker 2 (01:11:36):
Let me tell you. Nine years old, Bill Krachenberger had
parlay cards and stuff. I mean, I don't advise it
for anyone, but that's what started me off to the races.
And then next thing, you know, I'm taking buses to
Mammoth Park. Uh, you know, betting the horses when I'm thirteen.

Speaker 4 (01:11:50):
I mean, just uh, how about I want to throw
a game at you. This Commander's Chargers game. It's ticked
up a bit, like Chargers now minus three. The total
has changed. It went down just a scoch. It's down
to forty seven and a half. Look, man, Joe All
is out.

Speaker 2 (01:12:10):
You know.

Speaker 4 (01:12:11):
Rashaun Slater's out for the season, we knew that banged
up offensive line. Herbert was under siege. Last week the
guy got hit thirteen times against the Giants. So that's
the beginning of this whole thing is can they protect
Justin Herbert in the passing game? And something else that
caught my eye. The prop bets here very high for Herbert.

(01:12:32):
So is completions. It's at twenty three and a half.
His passing attempts are at thirty five and a half,
which is easily both are the highest of this NFL
week Week five here, So listen, what do you think,
Jeff X offensive lineman. Can they protect Herbert in this game?

Speaker 2 (01:12:50):
Uh?

Speaker 3 (01:12:50):
No, those numbers week of they think the charges will
be behind how to throw the ball right, That's what
it seems like to me. Sure twenty five pressures they've
allowed the last two weeks. Have the Chargers And here's
here's the problem. So the Chargers O Miles Garrett is
that Miles Garrett no know someone else in the Browns.

(01:13:11):
When when you have the Chargers are not good inside either,
like they're not good in left guard, center, right guard.
It's not good. Right, But let's tay tackle for instance,
when one tackle is out, you can game plan to
help the one tackle that's out right tight end running
back formationally like you can figure things out. Two guys

(01:13:33):
being out kind of screwed. One has to be on
an island by themselves and just figure about it. When
there's obviously five guys that are eligible to be out
in a route concept. The more you get out, the
easier it is to find creasing the defense. Right, if
you have three guys out, that means three defenders, right,
you have room to find. Well, now if you have

(01:13:55):
a guy chip Brian, then you have two guys out
in the route concepts. In a three, there's there's less out.
There's less, so it's very difficult for an offense to operate.
The more you have to chip and help your tackles.
Jordan Mason, by the way, it looks like he's down
after a screen. He caught a screen and kind of
got beat up there begin the tackle. But so you
actually don't want to help your tackles, but you might

(01:14:17):
have to, which means less guys are out on the
round concept, which means it's easier for commanders. So I
think commanders with Daniel's back, is it two and a
half still we look right now, where's three? I like
the commanders in this one.

Speaker 2 (01:14:28):
Greg, I'm trying to look here this game where it opens,
where it is now? You know, and again these these
sides are really really tough. Now we're talking an hour
before well that's not an hour before that game, but
an hour before game time. You know, this is a
very efficient market. Chargers opened up two and a half

(01:14:51):
up to three. And is that going to be part
of the Crack challenge?

Speaker 3 (01:14:55):
Which one of the commanders yes, yeah, probably, Yeah, they
have a good line, but I don't want to give
nothing up.

Speaker 2 (01:15:01):
He was real hesitant, Brian, did you see that?

Speaker 4 (01:15:04):
The the problem is keep moving?

Speaker 3 (01:15:08):
I don't know. Yeah, I'm going back to Well today
with one team. I just can't be. I'm going to
do it for the Crack. It's gonna make me physically
ill to have to root for this team again this weekend.
They might be about three and a half miles looking
at Oh.

Speaker 4 (01:15:20):
I know exactly who right there?

Speaker 3 (01:15:22):
Like right if I if I point like right through there,
it's like right there. Actually, no, let me think, yeah,
right there the stadium would be like three and a
half miles that direction. There might be more or less
than three and a half people there. The Panthers right
now are so bad that a long running podcast that
covers the Panthers this.

Speaker 4 (01:15:41):
Week, that was my favorite story of the whole week.

Speaker 2 (01:15:43):
What was it?

Speaker 4 (01:15:43):
The yeah you see this crack No.

Speaker 3 (01:15:47):
A Panthers podcast decided they need to stop. They need
to stop recording the podcast because the Panthers are so
bad they cannot allow themselves take away time from their
family anymore to cover this team.

Speaker 2 (01:16:01):
Wow.

Speaker 3 (01:16:02):
Wow, they have quit. They have quit to the Panthers
get better. They can't justify taking the time to watch
the Panthers record podcast away from their family on Sundays
because the team is so bad.

Speaker 2 (01:16:14):
So, Jeff, do you have them the worst team in football? Too?
Do you have do you have at the bottom?

Speaker 3 (01:16:19):
I think the Saints are the worst team in football?

Speaker 2 (01:16:21):
Yeah, I mean, oh, the dog agrees as soon as
no that that that is I listen. I know this
beyond the math, the algorithms, the models I believe in.
I'm still superstitious about certain things. So right away I
asked a question, and the dog, once you say Saints,
the dog says, no way. The commanders are I mean,

(01:16:42):
the Panthers are this bad?

Speaker 3 (01:16:45):
A leaf that's going by the front door right now.
I don't know what's promised. He's the greatest, He's no,
he's no oreo. Okay, just he's loud and barky and
just man, he just he just then other night he
just barked the middle of the night. I was like, buddy,
no one's here, man, just go back to see please
four in the morning.

Speaker 2 (01:17:01):
He's a great watch dog there.

Speaker 3 (01:17:03):
Oh he's awesome, but four o'clock in the morning, I'd
rather sleep than have him bark at something that walk
by our front door. He's some of those dogs like
he's sleeping, but like not really. Oh boy, oh oh,
Carson Wentz, Oh boy, moles Garrett got him. Not a
sack though.

Speaker 4 (01:17:16):
Okay.

Speaker 3 (01:17:16):
You know one market, by the way that I love
playing you talk about earlier, the Broncos Brian Nick Benino
was set at nine and a half sacks on bet MGM.
This year he has three or three and a half already.

Speaker 2 (01:17:26):
I know.

Speaker 4 (01:17:26):
Yeah, the SA League is up the four and a half.

Speaker 3 (01:17:28):
I bet sack market is so inefficient. Yeah, I don't understand.
Every year they do this, I get so I may
win so many wagers. My number one thing I do
in the off season, I win more wager than anything else.
I'll take you guys to go over their sack number.

Speaker 4 (01:17:40):
Yeah, all right. We've got Bill Brackenberger, professional sports handicapper.

Speaker 1 (01:18:46):
Prop it up player plays Oh tank.

Speaker 4 (01:18:51):
Prop betting market cracks. You'll live for this. What's something you.

Speaker 2 (01:18:54):
Like for I'm sorry, guys, two fifty nine and a half, Okay,
I want to make sure I always want to give
out the good odds chargers Herbert under two fifty nine
and a half passing yards at fed MGM. I think
they dial back to passing this week due to a
lot of offensive line injuries, so maybe some more running.

(01:19:16):
Herbert under two fifty nine and a half passing yards
that's the current number at fed MGM.

Speaker 3 (01:19:21):
Okay, all right. I don't know, Brian, if we're gonna
have the same one, we might have the same profile.
I'm actually kind of curious here. Tommy Tremble, the tight
end for like Carolina pantherskay over twenty five and a
half receiving yards, gets what the Dolphins are the worst
of the NFL. They're doing allowing passing yards to me,
receiving yards to NFL tight ends Taylor on Monday Night

(01:19:43):
hit a bunch of them. I mean, they're just wide open,
like you just wide open. So I will take tremble
here uh here of thoes have to play better today,
then they'll have a choice. It just it's it's a
stew or die for them today. Tremble over twenty five
and a half. I like one more and I'll save
it till the end of the show.

Speaker 4 (01:20:02):
I know you love backing former Notre Dame players and
prop it up, Jeff, I realized that's a staple of yours.

Speaker 3 (01:20:08):
So Nik Joe, he's a former Irish player. Well, that's
super under. I'll altern under that.

Speaker 2 (01:20:17):
I'm gonna go.

Speaker 4 (01:20:17):
There are a few that I like. I'm gonna go
with Derrick Henry. Give me over eighty four and a
half rushing yards. This is a gots to have its
spot for the Ravens. Doesn't mean they're gonna win the game,
but they're gonna be completely committed to the running game today.
If they're bread and butter, they don't have Lamar in there.
You got Cooper Rush. I don't want to make him
sound like he's broken. He can make plays in the

(01:20:38):
passing game. But I expect the Ravens to work through
Derrick Henry as their workhorse. Today, so I think he's
gonna get a ton of carries. I don't love this
Texans rush defense, so I'm going Derrick Henry over eighty
four and a half rush yards. We'll get some more
picks around the corner here coming up next. Just because
it's a gots to have it spot doesn't mean they're

(01:21:00):
gonna get it. We'll get to this game coming up next.
Oh what is going on? Happy week five to you
as we got ball going on right now, Brown still
clinging to a seventeen to fourteen lead. I had to
punt the ball to the Vikings so or early on
in the fourth quarter. But three three point game, nip

(01:21:22):
and tuck. We'll get to a team that's in a
gotsta have it position first though. Seeing that red Ostrich
logo on professional baseball postseason helmets, that's Strauss family owned
since nineteen forty eight and trusted by pros worldwide. Pants
built like tools, durable, comfortable, and engineered to perform from

(01:21:44):
grit to glory. Gear up now at Strauss dot com.
That's st r au Ss dot com. And before we
get to the football, guys, real fast that I know
you're a big baseball guy, Jeff, you you bet it
certainly crack any bets that you have in baseball, any
any just general observations. Dodgers, I think they realize it's

(01:22:04):
go time right now. Man, They've been fantastic these three
wins in a row.

Speaker 3 (01:22:09):
I think Dodger in the world's serious. I don't. I
just don't know why they're not at this point. I
was pretty high in Seattle, and uh, you know, they
look like a team that you know yesterday did not
play that environment before, you know, I think these these buys, man,
you know, the Brewers won off their bye, right, the
Phillies did not, The Mariners did not. The Blue Jays

(01:22:33):
did right. The Yankees just I just I don't. I
don't think they're good enough. I thought the Dodgers Mariners,
I felt pretty good about the Dodgers, Brian, But the
Mariners to me, just you know, gos show a little
bit more. But it's game one, it happens. The problem
is for them is like they're gonna face scooball but yesterday,
right or not.

Speaker 4 (01:22:54):
I don't know. I'm not sure pictes.

Speaker 3 (01:22:58):
Today, so like they lost the game when schoobl did
not pitch the Maritors dead it's a problem they have
to win the non school games.

Speaker 4 (01:23:07):
Yeah, oh yeah, absolutely.

Speaker 2 (01:23:09):
I love by the way, you guys absolutely love playoff
baseball when it means a lot. Brian and I got
together the other day over at one of the books
in town here and watched the Yankee game. I think
it was Game three to get in, right, Brian, was that, yeah, Boston, right? Yeah,
Then we we watched a football game and then had

(01:23:29):
a nice had a nice Benny Hannah Meal. Yeah, it
was a nice, a nice night out. But yeah, the
playoff baseball is just it's so different. It's me it's
for everything, it means everything. I absolutely love it. So
I am a playoff guy. I will watch the games today.
I'm interested to see how how mad Man Max over
here does versus Toronto. This is an interesting situation. You

(01:23:50):
have a let's just face it, Toronto is a better
team than the Yankees, and here you have free to
a one fifty five favorite at bet m GM over Toronto.
So I gotta tell you, I just I have no
action on the game, but I'll actually have it on
in the background with the football. That's how much I

(01:24:11):
enjoy playoff baseball. So yeah, you know, of course the Dodgers.
It looks like they they're they're like the Dodgers that
were predicted to win one hundred and four and a
half games. So again you're gonna pay a tax by
betting the Dodgers. Though Today's I mean it's a perfect
so it's actually Monday's game. Monday's game is a perfect example.
Here they get the Dodgers Snell on the road in Philly,

(01:24:32):
a tough, tough crowd in Philadelphia. Uh, that's going to
be a great game to watch. Snell is a big
favorite on the road. I look forward to watching that
one too.

Speaker 4 (01:24:42):
By the way, beautiful play by the Vikings. Getting back
to ball here third and long. I think it is
about third and ten. Deep ball right down the middle
to Justin Jefferson. Actually a beautiful catch by him. Jeff
that's right. That's that's a huge play. Like the field, Yeah,

(01:25:03):
you know, completely flip the field. Now they're in field
goal range. If you're on the under, that's almost death
to you because you know, you kick a field goal.
It's a thirty four point total. Worst case, like, the
only out is that it goes to overtime and no
one scores. The year odds are not good at all.
If the Vikings score, kick a field goal and tie

(01:25:23):
it up. Here, by the way, what's that the game?
Oh yeah, yeah, not a shock er. He didn't look
to be too bad.

Speaker 3 (01:25:32):
No, are we not doing a w A props? Brian? Today?

Speaker 2 (01:25:36):
Off? Is that today?

Speaker 3 (01:25:37):
By the way, is playing?

Speaker 2 (01:25:38):
Yeah?

Speaker 4 (01:25:38):
They are playing today? You got anything? You want to
throw anything out there.

Speaker 3 (01:25:41):
I'm gonna bet Thomas again and lose by a point again.
So it is half half a point? Is it is?

Speaker 6 (01:25:47):
What it is?

Speaker 3 (01:25:47):
I mean every single time without fail. I Brian knows this.
I've lost I would say twenty WNBA waitress this year
by half a point.

Speaker 4 (01:26:00):
Absolutely yeah.

Speaker 3 (01:26:02):
I text him every time it cracked. It is like
I had Alyssa Thomas thirty five, thirty five plus points,
rebounds and assist. She's at thirty four. I need one
more stat of something and misses two foul shots to
lose the game. For the for the marker, he need
one to two. It's all I need. She missed three
or four foul shots the last minute of the game.

(01:26:23):
Just something and you get a foul shot, make one
foul shots and something like that. This is both no rebounds,
no assist and Phoenix loses. That's why the Ags are
gonna win. Phoenix is very untrustworthy. They are not a
team that you can trust to close out games. So uh,
but yeah, I'm gonna go back to it, Brian. I
don't see why not. I mean, I think I don't
even know what's at right now, but I'm gonna do
it again today.

Speaker 4 (01:26:44):
A list of Thomas has been an absolute beast, no doubt.

Speaker 3 (01:26:47):
That's why he's missed the field goal.

Speaker 4 (01:26:49):
Good Sorry, Scott Shapiro. I feel like I should apologize
for them on the under, and it can't help it.
I got a room for the under over here. It
can't have a field goal, make man, that was wait right, yeah? Yeah,
yeah not close? Hooked the wrong way? All right? How
about this Texans Ravens game, crack. We got some line
movement over here, like you the thunder and lightning here,

(01:27:10):
But we've got the Texans on the road.

Speaker 2 (01:27:13):
Now two and a half point face unbelievable, and that
game is a thirteen point wh I know, there's a
lot of injuries on Baltimore, including the quarterback. This is
a thirteen point move from the from the pre flop number. Uh,
just a few short weeks ago you could bet the
you know, you know look ahead games. Wow. I don't know, Jeff,
you think this's worked.

Speaker 3 (01:27:34):
I will have the Ravens and my crack challenge, I
would imagine.

Speaker 2 (01:27:37):
Yeah, plus two and a half at at MGM. Yeah.

Speaker 3 (01:27:40):
Part of it too is the the old Bartender is
on the last week three last week it was a
last week and not have gone better.

Speaker 4 (01:27:49):
It was.

Speaker 3 (01:27:50):
It was just the most It was the greatest fade weekend.
I think, oh and seven So I was seven to
zer and people I faded, uh last weekend and it
was it was. It was fantastic. Yeah, the Bartender is
on the Colts, which is great news for us. And
he's on the Texas. I mean, no way. The Ravens
with all the injuries. It's the NFL man. We saw

(01:28:10):
Thursday night, remember the ram the Niners two beat up
to win, can't win the game. What they do they
win the game. The Ravens today back against the wall Man.
The Texans cannot score and I get it. The Ravens
are not great on defense with all the injuries, but
the Texans had had six points to start the fourth
quarter against the Titans last weekend. It was like the
Texans are lightning on light the world on fire either man,

(01:28:32):
So I will I would imagine crack challenge. You might
see the uh the Raves end up in there for me.

Speaker 4 (01:28:39):
Okay, yeah, very banged up, man, Ravens incredibly banged up.
But I hear you, right. I think there are a
lot of times that we we just look at who's
out instead of who's in. That sounds like incredibly simplistic,
but it is. It's the most simplistic thing that's overlooked.
And there are a lot of times where look, man,
a wounded animal animal fights harder. Yeah, it's the same

(01:29:00):
concept in the NFL where these teams that are wounded,
that are banged up, maybe they have a couple of
key guys out, Those teams will fight hard, and the
loser of this game, unless there's a tie, which it
probably won't be, the loser drops to one and four.
One and four, man, Like, you can make an argument
this is a Ravens season on the line today. So
it's not like the Texans just gonna waltz in and

(01:29:22):
walk all over them. That's just not gonna happen.

Speaker 2 (01:29:24):
People have them pick to win the Super Bowl they
were favorite Baltimore.

Speaker 3 (01:29:29):
Oh yeah, I mean they were.

Speaker 2 (01:29:31):
This team was the favorite to win. This was gonna
be their year. Wow.

Speaker 3 (01:29:35):
Yeah. I think sometimes, you know, it takes sort of
a year to get sort of in and out off
a team, so like you're on a team and then
you realize you were wrong on the next year, you're
off of them, type of situation. It feels like with
the Ravens that's what's happening, because I think it's more
than the injuries they have, just Lamar Jackson and the offense.

(01:29:56):
When they show them on the sidelines, they look just beaten.
They look miserab, they look exhausted, they looked unhappy, which
happens because I've been on injured teams. It's not fun.
I've been a bad team in two and fourteen. It's
not fun. But the Ravens just look they look beatn man,
they look you know, it's just they look a little
off and just we don't see that from Bualtrim. We
don't see the mistakes that Baltimore has made in some

(01:30:20):
of these games with a hardball team. We just haven't.
It's not what they've done over the years, and so
the I think there's crack. I think there's other issues
with the team besides just everyone being hurt. And that's
why I think again, we were on them, a lot
of us while I was on Buffalo this year, and
I so forget about Buffalo. Yeah, that's why a lot
of people would would sort of be off the Ravens

(01:30:40):
after this year.

Speaker 2 (01:30:42):
Yeah.

Speaker 4 (01:30:42):
They just they don't look like themselves. That's the easiest
way I could put it. And it's not just the injuries.
It's like they can't tackle. They can't.

Speaker 3 (01:30:50):
It's not all that's bad.

Speaker 4 (01:30:51):
Yeah, right, they're not running the ball effectively. A lot
of that is that they're just not going with the
running game enough on early downs, first and second down.

Speaker 3 (01:31:01):
So danren Lovsky put out that was that was the
tweety put out like that, They're they're running the ball
the least amount of first second down in the NFL.

Speaker 4 (01:31:07):
Crazy.

Speaker 3 (01:31:07):
I'm with you and the Henry stuff today. I put
rushing attempts and rushing yards over together. Yeah, a little
a little SGP there, crack. And I think that they
they have to like they don't have a choice. I mean,
you know they're gonna do it anyways. And the text
know this like they don't have a choice that you
have to give him all the carries possible in this game.

Speaker 4 (01:31:29):
I do like when we get a matchup where it's
bad on bad, you know, something has to give. The
Texans offense, they only score sixteen points per game, that's
twenty ninth in the league, and the Ravens are dead last.
Their defense gives up thirty three point three points per game.
So something's gonna have to give. Either the Ravens play
better defense or the Texans play better offense than their averages. Right,

(01:31:53):
So it's something to keep an eye on. But they
Ravens just need a little bit of juice, you know,
I get it right. We've seen this time and time again.
It's the classic case in the NFL. A team with
high expectations they get off to a bad start in
its snowballs and.

Speaker 2 (01:32:05):
That they're going to have to depend more today on
Derreck Henry in the rushing game. I'll just tell you guys,
I mean, uh, Cooper rush is starting here. I think
I I think I said to Jeff last break, I
sent them one of my main prop guys has him
under though on his passing yards today. Uh, you know
that they have they just not have. They just haven't

(01:32:27):
been good on defense, especially against the run too. Uh.
And you know the Texans, they also had high hopes.
So this year there was there was a lot of
outsiders I know that that were looking at two teams
this year. One was the Broncos, the other one was
the Texans for a long shot, Like there was a
couple of guys that I actually respect looking at Texans

(01:32:49):
odds and and and Broncos odds. I didn't fall for
either one. But anyway, Yeah, that this this rookie Woody
Marks coming off a good game last week versus Titans,
so they're gonna have to depend on him too. Though.
The Ravers are just beat up all around. They're just
beat up. So let's see what happens. It could be
a defensive battle today. This is like a low Let

(01:33:11):
me see what BETEMGM has. This total is like the
lowest total of the week, like forty and a half.
This is really a grind out type of game. BETMGM
still forty and a half. You know, it's funny the
marketplace is all forty one. Yeah, bet MGM's at forty
and a half, so they have some under money that
I'm sure they took earlier in the week.

Speaker 3 (01:33:31):
So it's funny how the different books just have different
prices on everyone.

Speaker 2 (01:33:35):
I'm telling you, everyone in the country has forty one.
The only forty and a half's bet MGM.

Speaker 3 (01:33:39):
It's just it so fascinates to me how you look
at you look around, and you would think it's all
the same, but different people, different books get different money
on different.

Speaker 2 (01:33:49):
Different market games. You know, as Christian said in Detroit,
they can't make the line high enough on Detroit Lions
games because they're in the Michigan market and everyone bets
the Lions there. As you can see, it's reflective in
their line. It's nine and a half everywhere, yet bet
MGM as a ten, so they just can't get any
money on Cincinnati.

Speaker 3 (01:34:10):
Yeah, there's a known person that we follow on social
media who is has a formula, and that formula is
on the Bengals today. So I might have taken the
Lions for a little, small, little, small little sprinkle here
as a fade, but not my normal faith side's just small,
small faith side.

Speaker 2 (01:34:28):
And what Jeff's saying is a real thing. I know
that most people listen, they know I'm a broken record
here you look for winning handicappers, of course, but you
can also look for losing handicappers and bet against them.
So and this guy that he's talking about is a loser.
So he just loses, I mean in his brain though
he thinks he's a winner, but he's a loser. So

(01:34:51):
we're not going to give him any press to mention
his name because we want you to stay in good graces,
and plus it's not a good look. We don't mention
people's names.

Speaker 4 (01:34:58):
No, we've got a Bill Krackenberger, professional sports handicapper. Jeff Schwartz,
eight year NFL veteran, I'm Brian.

Speaker 2 (01:35:07):
No.

Speaker 4 (01:35:07):

(01:35:27):
All right, Coming up next, is this team ready for
prime time? It is Fox Sports Radios Countdown to Kickoff,
presented by bet MGM. It is Fox Sports Radios Countdown
to kickoff presented by Bett MGM, and it is time
for the tire Rack play of the day.

Speaker 2 (01:35:43):
He can make up for it with.

Speaker 4 (01:35:44):
One swing the pitch. You're high in the air, right
center field. Baitter on the run on the warning track,
He's at the wall.

Speaker 2 (01:35:51):
It's gone tail time.

Speaker 8 (01:35:55):
In Game one, he flips the scoreboard with a three
run bom.

Speaker 4 (01:36:02):
Man Dodgers. It's go time. That's compliments of AM five
to seven the LA Sports Dodgers Radio Network. Tay Oscar
with a three run blast against the Phillies yesterday at show.
Hey what six innings pitched? Great shot by him. For
over forty years, tire Rack has been helping customers find
the right tires for how, what and where they drive.

(01:36:22):
Shipped fast and free, backed by free road hazard protection
with convenient installation options like mobile tire installation tire rack
dot Com. The way tire buying should be, all right,
Browns with the ball third and eleven, as they're up by.

Speaker 3 (01:36:37):
A field overthrown. I don't think four shocks sit on
top of each other could have caught that ball. But
Gabriel just gave.

Speaker 4 (01:36:46):
A little high, little a little higher right.

Speaker 3 (01:36:48):
That'd be like what twenty eight feet. There's no chance
of shocks. Four shafts of each other could make that
can make that.

Speaker 4 (01:36:54):
Catch, just they't want to put it in harms way.

Speaker 3 (01:36:56):
I love Gabriel, but any ball over five down the
field has been very, very high today. I think I
said all along from the beginning the season, I think
Sanders will start. I thought Gabriel will start. If aught
flock I would start. Now we're about to watch this
is gonna be a glorious drive you Carson Wentz against
the Browns defense needing a field goal. This is gonna

(01:37:17):
be an all timer. This is gonna be a Carson Wentz.
If you're going to go one or two direction, it's
going to be the worst drive of our life we've
ever seen. Or he's do incredible Carson Wentz stuff.

Speaker 4 (01:37:27):
Yeah, it's one or the other. Right, all right, We've
got the Patriots and the Bills. Bills favored by eight
total is forty nine and a half. Simple question, are
the Patriots ready for prime time? Right? Like this game
literally is in primetime? But against the Bills, right, they're
obviously the the the head houncho of the AFC East,

(01:37:49):
and the Patriots like they show signs here and there,
like they'll kick themselves in the foot and turn it
over five times against the Steelers and then all of
a sudden, Wow, you can see what they do on
the good side. Right, Drake may is leading the league
with a seventy four completion rate. It's incredibly high. And
listen to the Patriots have some strengths. It's just can

(01:38:10):
they hang with the Bills? Can they make this a
legitimate game where, let's say it's a fourth quarter game,
they're not just challenging to cover the spread, but challenging
to win the game. Do you think highly enough of
the Patriots to say, oh, yeah, I see that potentially
happening in this game here.

Speaker 3 (01:38:27):
So the Patriots have actually played Buffalo pretty well over
the years, no matter how bad New England's been. I man,
this one's tough. I tend to lean Buffalo waiting this game,
as they should. I know number is big. Buffalo did

(01:38:49):
not cover the big number. A few weeks ago, New
England beat a bad Panthers team. I don't really know
if that matters very much to this week. Bills are
just are obviously just much better. I lean, I don't
I'm not going to play this game, but I I
new it was just not better anywhere. I don't really

(01:39:10):
know how they keep his gat close. Last week, I
was shocked. I mean I had Buffalo to score thirty
one points didn't cover against the Saints. That shocked me.
The injuries on Buffalo's defense are real. When Milaw doesn't playing,
the team isn't as good. I don't think he's playing
tomorrow right tonight, right, Brian. I think he's still out
tonight had Oliver is out. So those are problems for Buffalo.

(01:39:30):
But I wouldn't put money in New England tonight.

Speaker 5 (01:39:32):
Crack.

Speaker 2 (01:39:33):
Yeah, you know, Buffalo looking to improve to five and
zero second time in franchise history. Actually so in prime
time tonight they did. New England is their division rival.
Jeff said it right. Over the years, this New England
team has played Buffalo pretty good over the year, especially
against the spread. Buffalo, of course the big betting favorite

(01:39:54):
to being the Super Bowl right now plus three seventy
five at bet MGM. New England got back on track
last week, though, you know, but you said it. You're right, boy.
It's like give and take. With everything they'd beat. A
bad Panthers team should be different though in Buffalo. So
the Patriots cleaned up their turnovers last week. They're gonna
have to protect the ball tonight if they want to

(01:40:15):
come away with an upset. That's all I can tell you.
And you're right, Drake. Drake may looked more comfortable. He
has each week getting better and better. So he's really
been using his legs to make plays. If the Bills
have one weakness, they give up a lot of rushing
yards to two opposing quarterbacks. So look for me to
try to make things happen. Their digs returns to Buffalo

(01:40:37):
tonight finally had a breakthrough game last week. Might be
tough for him tonight, though. Buffalo secondary is like the
best in the league, only allowing NFL low one hundred
and twenty five passing yards. I've found I've seen that
per game, so you know, I don't think this isn't
going to be a better game. There's a syndicate that
was on Buffalo. They laid the seven and a half,

(01:40:58):
it went to eight and a half, and even for
a hair, I seen a nine came right back though,
I mean we're back down. Uh let's see there were
there was seven and a half This morning when I checked.
But yeah, we're back down this game. There's seven and
a half's inn huh everywhere. So I think more towards
game time. Well, I'm sure that the public could. Depends
on how the public does today, they'll be they'll be

(01:41:20):
laying the points tonight, probably so probably.

Speaker 3 (01:41:23):
Quickly to Isaac is do I see this right? The
Jets are favorite by point a half? Now, that was
not that way.

Speaker 2 (01:41:29):
Jets are half favorite.

Speaker 3 (01:41:31):
That wasn't It wasn't that way like twenty four hours ago.

Speaker 2 (01:41:34):
Right.

Speaker 3 (01:41:34):
I don't look much of this game.

Speaker 2 (01:41:35):
I just now right, it's a movie. It was like
pick them and you know what.

Speaker 3 (01:41:39):
You're right.

Speaker 2 (01:41:39):
There was even a couple of ones the other way
I seen yesterday.

Speaker 3 (01:41:42):
I just was looking at the I see like the
on the bet MGM screen. I see the red and
green like boxes. That's moving that big time.

Speaker 4 (01:41:51):
The one thing I would say, though, like this Bills,
this Bill's past defense is total fugazy. Like listen, look
at who they've played. They've played the Ravens. They gave
up forty points against the Ravens, and then they've played
the Jets. Not exactly a prolific passing offense with Justin
Fields over there. Then they played my poor Dolphins, not
prolific with Tua right now, and then they played the

(01:42:12):
Saints like Spencer Rattler is not like, you know, the
next coming of Tom Brady over there. So I just
think that teams have had success running the ball against them,
and they've largely stuck with that. And then the Bills
have benefited by not facing a who's who of opposing quarterbacks.
So I think you got to take that into account
when you're you're looking at this matchup against Drake May

(01:42:34):
and the Patriots, because listen, Drake May compared to Rattler
and Justin Fields, that guy's like God compared to those
guys as a passing quarterback.

Speaker 5 (01:42:43):
You know.

Speaker 4 (01:42:44):
So I would just I would think about it as
far as that goes, well speaking, I can't say speaking
of God, but we've got Isaac loohen Kron here, which
you know some people hold him in very very high regard.
I don't know if God like regard, but very high,
very high. What's going on your eyelone?

Speaker 8 (01:43:01):
Why can't you why can't you.

Speaker 4 (01:43:04):
Just by the way, night beautiful throw the Carson Wentz
experience on the sideline, justin Jefferson. Now we're in field
goal range. The under is it's in shaky territory. Eye low,
not good.

Speaker 8 (01:43:17):
I know I can feel your sweat even from right here.
You know what, that didn't sound right out of context anyway,
I'll just get to the football game in London, shall
we all right? One minute and ten seconds remaining in
the fourth quarter, and the Cleveland Browns holding a seventeen
to ten excuse me, a seventeen to fourteen lead over
the Minnesota Vikings. But the Vikings right now have a

(01:43:40):
first down and ten at Cleveland's twenty seven yard line.
As moments ago, Carson Wentz completed a twenty one yard
pass to Justin Jefferson down to the brown twenty seven
yard line. Jefferson today, I remember it was better for
the first quarter seven catches for one hundred and twenty
three yards. Once has completed twenty of twenty nine per

(01:44:03):
two hundred and nine yards. Meanwhile, Cleveland running back Quinshawn
Judkins twenty three carries for one hundred and ten yards,
and other pass is complete, this time to Jalen Naylor.
He goes out of bounds over the left sideline at
the Cleveland twenty three for four yards that'll be second
down and six for the Vikings at the Cleveland twenty
three with one pozho five left in the fourth quarter

(01:44:24):
and the Browns holding on to his seventeen to fourteen lead.
This morning, the Marion County, Indiana Prosecutor's Office officially charged
former NFL quarterback and president Fox Sports analyst Mark Sanchez
with battery resulting in injury, public intoxication, and unlawful entry
of a motor vehicle for his alleged role in an

(01:44:44):
altercation early Saturday morning in Indianapolis. All three Chargers are misdemeanors.
Baltimore Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson inactive today against Houston with
a hamstring injury. Left tackle Ronnie Stanley inactive because of
an ankle injury. Safety Kyle Hamilton inactive due to a
groin injury. Raiders tight end Brock Bauers inactive for their

(01:45:05):
game at Indianapolis with a knee injury. The Detroit Lions
today downgraded left tackle Taylor Decker too doubtful for this
afternoon's game at Cincinnati due to a shoulder injury. We're
now down to fifty seven seconds left to play the
fourth quarter in London and a third down and three
coming up for the Minnesota Vikings at the Cleveland twenty

(01:45:26):
yard line with the Browns again holding a seventeen to
fourteen lead over the Vikings.

Speaker 4 (01:45:31):
Guys, back to you, Thank you. I lo it is

(01:45:51):
Just search Fox Sports Radio wherever you get your podcasts
and you'll find today's full show. Post it right after
we get off the air. Okay, Chiefs at Jacksonville, Jags
are a three and a half point home underdog here.
The total has actually ticked down just a bit, down
to forty five and a half. Listen, do you believe
in the Jacks? A nice win on the road against

(01:46:14):
San Francisco last week, but plus four in the turnover differential,
they're glinging on to life to win this game.

Speaker 2 (01:46:24):
I don't know, man.

Speaker 3 (01:46:25):
They have the number one four street turnovers in all
other games so far.

Speaker 4 (01:46:30):
Right, that's a ton man when you're taking the ball
away like that and you're still you're three and one
football team. Like, I just I can't trust Jacksonville. I
just can't. Like I was betting on Jacksonville last week,
every time Trevor Lawrence dropped back, I'm like, oh gosh,
don't don't, don't kill me, please, just don't kill me. Right,
That's how it feels if you're on Jacksonville. Listen, Travis

(01:46:55):
Etn has been fantastic. He's been their main guy offensively,
and they're gonna ride him, there's no doubt about that.
But man, I just I don't. I can't trust Trevor
Lawrence to match points with Matt Patrick Mahomes now that
he's got worthy back.

Speaker 3 (01:47:09):
I just I agree with you. I agree. I see
there's the voice and the bartender, by the way, both
on the Colts today. So if i'lloking for for something
to do today, that's, uh, what else you got?

Speaker 2 (01:47:24):
The voice?

Speaker 3 (01:47:26):
The voices also looks like on Tampa plus three and
a half. I like, that's kind of I've actually now
wagered against my bit that I actually will put in
the parlay. So I mean in the crack challenge, which
is unfortunately probably but uh, it is what it is.
But I'm gonna I'm putting more on the Raiders now.
I have multiple bets on the Raiders in this, in this,
in this window. So I hope the Raiders get home

(01:47:47):
for me. But the Raiders to me feel like the
most obvious, Like this is the NFL game. They win
by three, and everyone's like, how the Raiders do it?

Speaker 4 (01:47:56):
This is the NFL?

Speaker 3 (01:47:58):
What more do you want? It's the NFL. To the Chiefs, Brian,
They're not going to turn them over three times to Jacksonville,
it's not. And that the amount of confidence i'd imagine
going through that building right now with xavier' worthy back
is is gonna carry them a long way. I will say, though,

(01:48:19):
Jacksonville's pass rush much better than I think we thought.
Hitting the season so did really well so far so,
but but the Chiefs offensive line is played much better.
Simmons has looked like he's a steal when they got
thirty one, right thirty. You look at at Cansey, Sue
Mattia has done well at guard. They're playing They're playing
much better off up front, So I think Kansas City here.

(01:48:41):
I hope, I hope we get a three tomorrow. I
probably doubt it because I think at three Carson Wentz touchdown.
Carson Wentz. Wow, totally all in one way. This is
gonna go Either Carson Wentz does some wild stuff to win,
or that's a bad Browns loss. Oh man, do you
have any money in their win total? Crack? I don't
have anything on the Browns.

Speaker 2 (01:49:00):
No, not in the Browns. I got Minnesota, Minnesota, over
over over Minnesota to make the playoffs too.

Speaker 3 (01:49:05):
Yeah, yeah, wow, Carson Wentz does it now. So now
the problem is I'm Dylan Gabriel. Okay, he's got I'm
under one e two and a half. He's at one,
I believe.

Speaker 1 (01:49:17):
No.

Speaker 3 (01:49:20):
Yeah, but that that at that one and a half.
You know that that that the pitchy pitchy woo would play. Yeah,
that that could get me. I have a feeling. No
timeout twenty five seconds, so I need I would be
very upset. I got a good number.

Speaker 2 (01:49:36):
It was.

Speaker 3 (01:49:37):
It was one eighty two and a half. I bet MGM.
On Thursday it was one seventy nine. Elsewhere. It closed
today much lower. I'm gonna be super pissed. I don't
get that, guys.

Speaker 2 (01:49:45):
Something stinks about this Kansas City Jacksonville line. I don't
know something just something's funny to me that I know
the wise guys that I know are on UH are
on KC. But I'll tell you if they just uh,
this is like that home primetime game. Feel to me,
I'd be scared. I'm not betting either way. I'm just
saying that. Well, I shouldn't say that. I shouldn't say

(01:50:06):
I'm not betting either way. I am actually betting Kansas
City earlier in the week. But however, you got to
get the right number too. The right number is very
important to get the right numbers. So I laid minus
three minus twenty. But something stinks now in this game.
I don't know. I'm still sticking with my side. What no, No,
like the three and a half people are now biting

(01:50:26):
a little bit, and I could just see this game.
You might tomorrow. You might get another at game time,
close to game time. You may get another shot at
minus three minus twenty somewhere. But Kansas City has owned
the jack has owned the Jaguars recently, so beating them
in the last eight matchups. But Jacksonville comes into this game,
raem One has been on the right side of the

(01:50:48):
turnover margin of this season. They have a league high
thirteen takeaways, but Kansas City protects the ball as well
as anybody, so the Chiefs have only committed one turnover
in these first four games. Looked like the difference you
know with Worthy last week. It's funny, you know, we
haven't talked about this. I think Jeff I both had
the same prop out of all the millions of players,

(01:51:08):
and we had the same prop Worthy over, and I
thought we were dead because we matched on the same
prop first time ever on a show match on the
same guy when when you know, we don't we don't
check with each.

Speaker 3 (01:51:19):
Other of course before, but that was so many months
a wager on. I told you I had the Chiefs
page open on the bed MGM screen and it was
like a prop time. I was like, oh, here we go. Worthy.

Speaker 2 (01:51:28):
I like it.

Speaker 3 (01:51:29):
I don't know if it was like a grand plan
of mine, if i'dn't been on a different page at
the same time. I did like, I mean, I didn't
bet on.

Speaker 2 (01:51:33):
I liked it.

Speaker 4 (01:51:34):
Yeah, So and Gabriel just, oh my god, you gonna
have to sweat it out huh, Well.

Speaker 3 (01:51:40):
No, he's he's gonna hail Mary. I think I'm gonna
be fine. I mean, if you can beat to hair
hail Mary, I'm screwed. I mean, that's what it comes
down to. I think I think I'm gonna be okay
one oh what do you just get? How many yards
was that? She's at one seventy right now? Yeah, dude,
it closed today. I think at like one sixty nine
and a half. So if I don't get a hail Mary,
he's gotta throw hail Mary right. There's no way they

(01:52:02):
even try tempting.

Speaker 4 (01:52:03):
Well, there's seven seconds. They might try just a quick
out route, you know, get a little ten years.

Speaker 3 (01:52:07):
If I lose this wager, I'm gonna lose my mind.

Speaker 2 (01:52:11):
Jeff, let me ask you this. This this is your team,
these Chiefs are even with the bad start. Do you
think this is a super Bowl caliber team.

Speaker 3 (01:52:19):
With Ray she Rice back? I think I think yes. Yeah, defensively,
I'm not Oh, hail Mary time. Okay, here we go,
hall Mary time.

Speaker 4 (01:52:27):
They let him a couple of stabs, well, probably just one.

Speaker 3 (01:52:31):
I'm intercepted.

Speaker 4 (01:52:33):
Ye, too bad. I was kind of.

Speaker 2 (01:52:39):
Right between the number. Wow, well I got.

Speaker 3 (01:52:41):
One a two and a half. So I'm I'm good.
I'm actually looking right now what it closed out today
to see like what let's see here? It closed at
someone called time out? What happened here? Why they're still
playing football?

Speaker 4 (01:52:53):
I have no idea?

Speaker 3 (01:52:55):
Oh it closed one sixty five and a half. Okay,
oh wait wait.

Speaker 4 (01:52:59):
They called like someone called time out?

Speaker 2 (01:53:02):
But what are what are we doing? But there's no
time on the clock though, right Who called time out?

Speaker 4 (01:53:06):
I don't know. It's like, I don't know what could
have happened.

Speaker 3 (01:53:09):
I think the Vikings called time out.

Speaker 4 (01:53:11):
Let me connell called time out?

Speaker 2 (01:53:14):
Oh man, wow, isn't it fun to get a shot? Though?
It's throwing the ball like.

Speaker 4 (01:53:20):
This a new NFL. Instead of icing the kicker, this
is icing the quarterback for the hail mary throw.

Speaker 3 (01:53:25):
Sorry I was muted. I get I get why you
call time out here. If you're the Vikings, you just
want to get everyone set up? Can everything's set?

Speaker 6 (01:53:31):
Like?

Speaker 3 (01:53:31):
Get ready to go? Because I am a firm believer
in actually pressuring a quarterback on a hail mary. Don't
let him get set up. Don't like you bring an
extra guy, you make him roll out. You do something
to make like if you're if you're the Vikings here,
you want to bring pressure from his left to make
him go right and have to reset his feet, throw
across his body, like you want to make it a
little difficult for him. But if we lose this now,

(01:53:51):
after all this I'm gonna be.

Speaker 4 (01:53:56):
Is not happy right now, Like he wasn't granted, Oh.

Speaker 3 (01:53:59):
My god, he just kind of pass. Oh my god, Oh.

Speaker 2 (01:54:02):
You're kidding me. I'm not watching it. Oh God, behind
you like he goes he.

Speaker 4 (01:54:09):
Was a few inches away from escaping that angle tackle.

Speaker 3 (01:54:12):
Too, and.

Speaker 4 (01:54:14):
They're gonna lose. Really, there's no time anyway. Wow, So
Jeff you.

Speaker 2 (01:54:20):
That's brutal, dude, just not even talking.

Speaker 4 (01:54:24):
You just kicked the dog right.

Speaker 2 (01:54:25):
Now, is what he.

Speaker 3 (01:54:28):
On the show?

Speaker 4 (01:54:29):
That is disgusting. Are you kidding me?

Speaker 2 (01:54:31):
That's a disgusting way to lose that crop.

Speaker 4 (01:54:34):
It's one thing if he if he runs out of
bounds and then you have a shot at the end.
It didn't even accomplish anything. That's brutal.

Speaker 2 (01:54:42):
That was like just to beat Jeff. That's so stupid Jesus.
They were like, yeah, my god, can we go to commercial?

Speaker 5 (01:54:53):
Do we do this?

Speaker 2 (01:54:54):
Why?

Speaker 4 (01:54:54):
Why do we do this we lost Jeff. Jeff is
so you.

Speaker 2 (01:54:57):
Want to be a gambler. Jesus, Wow, disgusting.

Speaker 4 (01:55:02):
That is disgusting.

Speaker 2 (01:55:04):
My goodness.

Speaker 4 (01:55:05):
All right, we've got Bill Krackenberger, professional sports handicapper. I
think we still have Jeff Schwartz the exhale there. I
think he's still with us. Oh god, eight year NFL veteran.

All right, we got some picks to make. Let's do
it by five games against the spread. We call it,

(01:56:52):
call it the Crack Challenge. Okay, Jeff, you're in a
great mood after a disgusting beat. It's perfect timing for
the Crack Challenge.

Speaker 2 (01:57:02):
What do you have for us?

Speaker 3 (01:57:03):
You know, the Browns didn't even attempt to hail Mary
officially in the game they needed. Despite needing a hell Mary,
they managed to not get one off. One time Coach
of the Year Brian Kevin spancy Man should not get
a hell Mary attamp. Needing a hell Mary tamp.

Speaker 4 (01:57:17):
It's just it's so bad.

Speaker 3 (01:57:19):
All right, Well, this is a lot of fun. Go
go Schwartz, all right, give me, uh, give me the
Jets minus one and a half. Give me the Ravens
plus two and a half, Raiders plus seven, Panthers plus one. Uh,
and then I like the Commanders plus three.

Speaker 4 (01:57:40):
Okay, interesting, good stuff. I'm gonna go with I'm going
head to head. It's no v Schwartz on a couple
of these. Give me the Cowboys plus the point and
a half. I don't understand. What like a three point
move to the Jets. I don't get it, and I'm
gonna I'm gonna lay the three with the cold. Last
time we saw the Raiders on the road, they're giving

(01:58:02):
up forty one to the Commanders. With Mariota back there,
I don't trust Gino throws a ton of picks. Colton
Miller is out. I'll take the Colts and I'll lay it.
Give me the Broncos plus four, give me Tampa plus
three and a half, and give me the Pats plus eight.

Speaker 5 (01:58:19):
That's what I have for you.

Speaker 4 (01:58:21):
All Right, we got more picks to make.

Speaker 2 (01:58:23):
Let's do this.

Speaker 3 (01:58:29):
Rapid fire.

Speaker 4 (01:58:31):
Okay, crack, we start with you. What's something you like today?

Speaker 2 (01:58:34):
Well, you're gonna be surprised about this, crawler. Let's go
with the Miami Dolphins first half. Let's get the quick
start there first, Carolina. There's some Pickham's minus a dollars
ten out there. Miami Dolphins first half.

Speaker 3 (01:58:46):
All right, anything you like, Jeff, well, sure, so let's
just just destroyed. I like Jackson's ark under one seventy
five and a half for passing yards. Yeah, one hundred
and eleven. Last week we talked about him like he's
Joe Montana. No, Milika. I just don't see that being
part of their game plan. Also in this game, Taysom
Hill is back today. Taysom will score touchdown? Interesting, oh

(01:59:09):
prop today as well? It's a plus two to fifty
right now, bet you als do a second chance if
you like as well, throw that out there for the promotion.
Bet MGM has and he's actually not even on here,
so never mind. But anytime touchdown plus two to fifty, all.

Speaker 4 (01:59:27):
Right, I'm gonna go with a team total. Give me
the Patriots over nineteen and a half points. I just
don't think this Bill's defense is all world. I think
their past defense numbers are inflated by weak quarterbacks like
Justin Fields and Spencer Rattler. So I'll take the Patriots
to score at least twenty points against the Bills in

(01:59:47):
prime time tonight. All right, we got cracks play of
the day.

Speaker 2 (01:59:51):
Let's do this.

Speaker 1 (01:59:53):
This is the best play of the day.

Speaker 3 (01:59:55):
It's a touchdowns can sit man?

Speaker 4 (01:59:58):
Okay, crack?

Speaker 1 (01:59:59):
What is it?

Speaker 3 (01:59:59):
Buddy?

Speaker 2 (02:00:00):
Well, I'll tell you there's there's so many things I
can give. I'm gonna go to baseball, believe it or not,
because everyone's going to go with school today. I just
think Seattle you're gonna get some value taking the dog there.
Let's go. Let's go with the Seattle Mariners today plus plush.

Speaker 4 (02:00:14):
Like a dollar forty Okay, very very nice, rare game.

Speaker 2 (02:00:17):
I was thinking about going against the Voice with the
Raiders too, But it's a lot of place, a lot
of place.

Speaker 4 (02:00:22):
A lot of place. Did you parlay like twenty of
them together crack. One of these weeks it'll happen. Enjoy
the ball,

Cardiac Cowboys

Cardiac Cowboys

The heart was always off-limits to surgeons. Cutting into it spelled instant death for the patient. That is, until a ragtag group of doctors scattered across the Midwest and Texas decided to throw out the rule book. Working in makeshift laboratories and home garages, using medical devices made from scavenged machine parts and beer tubes, these men and women invented the field of open heart surgery. Odds are, someone you know is alive because of them. So why has history left them behind? Presented by Chris Pine, CARDIAC COWBOYS tells the gripping true story behind the birth of heart surgery, and the young, Greatest Generation doctors who made it happen. For years, they competed and feuded, racing to be the first, the best, and the most prolific. Some appeared on the cover of Time Magazine, operated on kings and advised presidents. Others ended up disgraced, penniless, and convicted of felonies. Together, they ignited a revolution in medicine, and changed the world.
