Speaker 3 (00:15):
Mg app, the King of sportsbook.

watch your team win.

Speaker 1 (00:22):
fIF three is the in game.

Speaker 3 (00:24):
We're here to break it all down. Let's go, Let's go.

Speaker 2 (00:27):
This is Fox Sports Radios Countdown to Kickoff, presented by
Bett mg App. Now we're live from your tailgame. Here's
Brian no h Year, NFL veteran Jeff Schwartz at sports
handicapper from crackwins dot com Bill crack Krackenberger.

Speaker 1 (00:47):
Oh, what is going on? Happy Sunday to your happy
week six as we all set for NFL Action, little
college football review as we always do as well. Good morning,
Good morning, crack. Everything good with you, guys, Well, you know,
outside of your ducks, Jeff, Sorry about that, buddy, could

(01:08):
be worse. You could be a Penn State fan. So
at least yeah that going for you.

Speaker 4 (01:12):
It's our first regular season loss in two years and
people are acting like this guy.

Speaker 5 (01:18):
Guys, you're done.

Speaker 4 (01:20):
The last time we lost in the regular season was
to Washington. I think it was October sixth of twenty
twenty three. It was our last regular season loss. Since then,
we've lost to Washington PACTOL championship game, and Ohio State
in the playoff. That was it, And people are like
fire though, c get rid of I'm like what I'm like,
are you watching the same thing?

Speaker 5 (01:39):
I'm watching?

Speaker 4 (01:39):
Like, what do we do? Geez? We lost? You and
Dana credit they played really well. We still can win
every game and go eleven to one and post a
playoff game. I don't know, Like it's kind of crazy, right.
The theme for the coachortball this year to me is
is anyone really good? I don't know. I don't know.
Ohio State I think is really good. I think Miami

(02:02):
is getting Indiana's good. But to pick a champion right now,
probably State, just like by default, Brian, I just I
don't know. Interesting year in in the sport. I think,
you know, George is not as good. I look, I
think we're We're not conspiracy theorists, the three of us.
I don't think. I don't Maybe crack is I don't

(02:23):
know that Sea must hate Auburn. No, explanation. Otherwise, I
can't explain why.

Speaker 1 (02:30):
How was that not a touchdown? He snuck it right
past the goal.

Speaker 4 (02:35):
I think that the I think he got it enough
over the goal line before the ball was hit out.
It certainly was knocked out, unlike Trevor Lawrence the other night.
The ball was like Trevor Wentz ball was out, no question.
This to me wasn't. And then later on to Kirby
Smart call time out and then convinced the officials he

(02:56):
actually was just clapping and they gave him the time
out back and let him rerun the play on offense
when like there's there's actual video of him like giving
the timeout signal to the officials, like stuff like that
was happening for Auburn last night. USC looks like they're
they're good, even though I kind of like it because
now I get to better against the US against the
Irish this weekend, and I'll get a much better number.

Speaker 6 (03:18):
What I'm gonna be on the Irish?

Speaker 1 (03:21):
Okay, good, good?

Speaker 4 (03:22):
I thought, you know, I'm gonna be on the Irish
and everyone's gonna bet on the USC this weekend, so
it's gonna be a good spot to be and I'll
tell you what, men. You know, we get those the
you know, the tweets right from from John Ewing right here,
here are the here are the here are the public
sides of the week from from bet MGM. Every week, man,

(03:43):
the college is getting freaking slaughtered. All the public sides
are getting absolutely slaughtered. And that's what this this year
has been. You know, it's uh, it is what it is,
which which never happens. Crack. It's so sad. You're the
book maker, so uh you know it. Just do it

(04:04):
was a good, good weekend of ball. I mean so far,
and I mean, look, my duck's lost. It happens like
the finish eleven and one. Everything's right in front of
what the origon wants to do.

Speaker 5 (04:14):
Jeff, someone listens to us, just said, Jeff said, two years,
it's been more like three years. Is that true, Oregon?

Speaker 4 (04:20):
No, we no, we have not.

Speaker 5 (04:23):
Been more like three years. They haven't lost.

Speaker 4 (04:26):
No, No, we lost it. We lost in the middle
of twenty three and then we lost lose it all
last season and the bad.

Speaker 5 (04:32):
Season lost years.

Speaker 4 (04:34):
We haven't lost the Recors game in two years. And
yet like fire, everyone the OC stinks, Like I don't
know Indiana's good.

Speaker 5 (04:42):
Is that like a defensive line. The defensive line dominated Organs. No.

Speaker 4 (04:46):
See, So here's the thing, crag. This is why the
film is This is why the film is great. I
have it right here, iPad Okay, there's just saying, okay,
the eye and the sky never lies, right. That's one thing. Also,
one thing to live by that I like to live
by is it's never as good as you think and
never as bad as you think. So like I give

(05:07):
up a sack, okay, and I watch it on film
and god, it's not as bad as I thought it was.
Or tackle for loss or just like dump a dude
pink he could do, like yeah, yeah, watch it on film,
but ah, he kind of just tripped. It was not
great a block.

Speaker 5 (05:19):
You know.

Speaker 4 (05:19):
That's never never as bad. That's the way the film
always is. And look, would you be surprised when an
organ rush for like five and a half yards to
carry with the running backs?

Speaker 5 (05:30):
Oh?

Speaker 4 (05:30):
Wowkay, Like you would think we rushed for two but nah,
we did. Organ was fine, Dante Moore didn't play well
and India has defensive staff did a great job. Uh
we allowed six sacks to on the offensive line on
the offensive line, two on the offensive line, four on
the running backs, and Dante Moore just.

Speaker 1 (05:50):
Like, by the way, what did you think about more?

Speaker 4 (05:53):
He was bad? He was bad yesterday. The thing that
was surprising to me, I know we're not an organ podcast.

Speaker 1 (05:58):
I'll have plenty of time time I think we are.

Speaker 4 (06:01):
It's like Denver just scored, by the way, ten to
ten to six Broncos here in London. The thing that
that is interesting about this game is organ So there's
something called sim pressures, right, simulated pressures, which is like
you think it looks like they're coming to the left, right,
like pressures coming to the left, and it comes from

(06:23):
the right right. They spin, they spin, and they only
bring like four instead of eight or seven, and look
it looks like they're gonna bring a ton, but they
spin out. And one thing Organs be really good at
this season is identifying pressures. Okay, it's coming from here,
we're gonna switch protection. We did none of that yesterday
and Indiana just sim pressure to the heck out of
us and we had no answer. So again, like crack,

(06:43):
you'd think like we're sitting the precsion left, but then
they come from the right and they put Aiden Fisher
on a running back. It's just not a fair matchup,
you know. And it was a good job by by
their coaching staff of having the ability to do that.
And then Dante more just did send the pocket and
we go through this regressions. There were times guys were
open the high out of one of the broadcast on
a wheel route. I mean, guys open for touchdown just

(07:05):
to throw it. So uh, and Mendozo was good in
India's offense is interesting, right, Like I'm not done watching
the defense yet, but I think I think Indiana attempted
three non rpo passes in the middle of the field.
That was it. That's it for the entire game, two
completions and one was a pick six. The third one, Like,
they just throw the wall the outside surround all these guys,

(07:26):
big guys just make a bunch of plays on the edge.
I don't know how to stop it. There's no defensive
back who's going to stop all of these routes. So
Indiana just keeps doing what they do best. Or again,
I'll go like this, if I told you Indiana saw
offense had three hundred and forty yards, I'm limiting the
garbage time drive at the end three hundred and forty yards. Brian,
they were five five for twelve on third down. You

(07:49):
think like, I don't know.

Speaker 1 (07:50):
Yeah, it makes you feel a little bit better. But
until it just yeah, until garbage time with Oregon. Until
garbage time with Oregon, they had like forty yards in
the second half time I'm talking.

Speaker 4 (08:00):
About I'm talking about our No, I'm talking about our
defense against their own I know.

Speaker 1 (08:03):
I know what you're talking about. I'm just saying, like
you can play these games like hey.

Speaker 5 (08:08):
Look yeah, yeah, we know what you're talking about.

Speaker 1 (08:10):
Yes, right, it's still bad.

Speaker 5 (08:11):
Yeah, was terrible.

Speaker 4 (08:13):
No, I'm not talking about offense was bad. I covered
that already. I'm saying Indiana's Indiana's offense and our defense
was it wasn't as bad like it's. That's the thing
is when you watch a film like it just it
just wasn't so weird. If I get if I told
you we allowed three hundred and forty yards the running
backs had less than four yards of care, you'd be like, yeah,
you did pretty well.

Speaker 1 (08:31):
Here's what you need to do. You need to take
this whole approach and be a consultant for Penn State
fans because they need this. Yeah, they need this. Is
it's not as bad as you know. They they they
were going to anybody.

Speaker 4 (08:45):
I mean, I mean we I mean we're going to
finish eleven and one. I think we'll be fine. Uh yeah,
Penn State. I didn't want to check in that game.
I shoot, I saw twenty two twenty one Drew Holler
out for the season.

Speaker 1 (08:59):
Yeah.

Speaker 4 (09:00):
Wow, I I don't know. I can't explain it because
they have multiple first round picks on that team.

Speaker 1 (09:06):
I can't It's crazy.

Speaker 4 (09:07):
I can't explain why they keep losing.

Speaker 1 (09:09):
It's just one of these things, man, when a team
has such high expectations. They had legitimate national title hopes,
right like aspirations, and then they lose to your ducks
in double overtime. Somehow. UCLA didn't have a lead the
first four games, they never led, and they scored forty
two points on Penn State. And now it's you know,

(09:32):
it's over. They're just lost. You know, can't do anything
with that team.

Speaker 5 (09:36):
Now, I have a question. Yeah, Jeff, So yesterday I
didn't watch. I watched a little. I didn't watch the
game though, but it looked like to me that Indiana's
defensive line was was the couple series I watched was
really good? So did Oregon did their offensive line just
have a really off day? Or was Indiana's defensive line

(09:57):
that good? I mean? And then of course you see
the stats six that I'm sorry, six sacks compared that
they give it up one the first five games. Yeah.

Speaker 4 (10:04):
So, so out of the six sacks, two were on
the offensive line. First play of the game, they ran
a play action pass, they got beat inside, they got
beat late, and then one of the role they had
to roll out the right tack got beat across his face.
The other four were on the running backs, got beat twice,
and then Dante Moore left clean pockets and ran into sacks.
So that so two of the six were on offensive line.

(10:25):
I think we're fine. We average, we averaged over seven
yards to carry between the tackles. I mean, it feels
pretty good. I don't know. It was a weird game,
like you just it just we just did. We almost
got one off a touch and I'm shocked by the
way and again did good job.

Speaker 1 (10:40):
I wanted to get your thoughts on on Oklahoma because
John Matteer played he had a broken hand. He had
surgery seventeen days before playing yesterday. Get yesterday against Texas
through three interceptions looked awful. Oklahoma had no offense all
day against Texas. What did you think about Matier even

(11:01):
playing that game? Like rewind it, like before you have
access to the results. What you thought about Matier actually playing?

Speaker 4 (11:11):
So I was shocked because they didn't need this win.
I mean, you want to beat Texas, obviously, but in
the grand scheme of things, they didn't need this. They
needed to basically win the rest of their schedule, or
or just win ten you know, win ten, right, win
ten games and be a playoff team. And I was
shocked He's seventeen days removed. I just it didn't make

(11:31):
sense to me. Seventeen days were moved off of a
hand surgery to play your quarterback. And he was bad,
predictably bad, and Oklahoma obviously predictably you know, just wasn't
very good on offense. I'm not surprised. And so yeah,
again it didn't surprise me. I thought it was a
bad decision. I just you, your backup has played a

(11:54):
lot of football build up game playing around him. You know, Materier,
I would imagine, basically didn't practice very much either, So
now you have to basically build an offenser. I guy
who didn't practice very.

Speaker 1 (12:02):
Much, and he looked like it. He looked very rusty.

Speaker 4 (12:06):
Yeah, I don't know why, man, I'm good. Look good
for Texas needed that WINDANCC, Like A and M's the
best team, Like who's the Alabama's won three games against
top twenty five teams so far they're winnings. Fourth doesn't
look as good. But that was good winn against Missouri.
I don't know. It's again like this is a year
where I don't I don't even know, like who the

(12:26):
best teams are right now and who i'd bet on
to win a championship. Georgia has their flaws, Obama has
their flaws. A and M right now undefeated, maybe they're
the best team in that in the in that conference.
But curious to see kind of where this where this
nets out this season?

Speaker 1 (12:42):
Yeah, no doubt. All right, Hey, we're often running. We've
got Jeff Schwartz, eight year NFL veteran Bill Krackenberger, professional
sports handicapper. I'm Brian.

Speaker 3 (14:39):
In gain betty.

Speaker 6 (14:42):
Ah.

Speaker 1 (14:42):
That is right. We are live right now in London.
We've got a Denver with a ten to six lead
against the Jets. The points spread tick down just a
little bit right before kickoff went to a solid seven,
so no more seven in the hook as far as
Denver was favored by just flat seven. You guys ready

(15:02):
for a crazy stat? Are you sitting down? Are you ready?
This might floor you a little bit? So Jets quarterback
Justin Fields. In his NFL career, he is zero and
twenty six straight up when the opposing team scores at
least twenty one points. Crazy, right, Yeah, has won one game.
And it's not like you know, it's thirty thirty some point,

(15:25):
thirty plus points. It's twenty one, not one win.

Speaker 4 (15:30):
We had to have a talk about Aaron Glenn. I
know that people will say give him time. And look
what Dan Campbell did in year one. He sucked and
he won three games. We agree the Jets defense has
good personnel, right do we all agree on this?

Speaker 1 (15:48):
Absolutely? Sure?

Speaker 4 (15:49):
Their defense stinks. Okay, And when you are a coach
that that has one side of the balls your specialty,
your offensive coach, your defensive coach, that side of the
ball has to be good. You don't have a choice.
You have to be on that side of the ball.
You're hired, obviously to be the head coach of the team.
But what's the value you bring if you if the

(16:12):
side of the ball that's your specialty is horrific? And
that's where we're at with the Jets. Their offense, I mean,
their offense is what it is. It's not gonna be
good with Fields. We get that, but the defense is
not good either, and the Broncos right now do whatever
they want up and down the field. There's no there's
no stop, there's no no resistance whatsoever. And that is

(16:34):
a to me, is a huge problem with the Jets.
Besides obviously Fields not be able to you know, to
do what he has to do. We we get that,
but yeah, I mean, look we're looking at en game.
I think you look at some of the Broncos running
backs in this game. Is this game I get out
of hand. But also Justin Fields has thrown for like
eight hundred yards in the fourth quarter of the so
far this season, like, well that continue today, I don't know,

(16:58):
but clearly the Jets have zero first down the six
points because the turnovers, and so I think that you
look at Justin Fields over at some point when they
get into desperation mode. I mean it's the middle of
the second quarter and they Jets, I believe, have zero
first downs. I think I'm right on that, and that
feels like less than ideal football. Yeah, they're zero for

(17:22):
three on third down, zero first downs. The Broncos gonna
pump the ball back to them here as they.

Speaker 1 (17:25):
Dropped a pass that was sloppy.

Speaker 4 (17:29):
I think I think Nicks like just didn't actually give
a good ball either. I can't they haven't put a
replay back up yet.

Speaker 1 (17:34):
But yeah, it wasn't on the money at all.

Speaker 5 (17:36):
Yeah, and that's why, guys, when you talked about when
you came on air and said talked about alive, came
this is amazing these line moves. So I have the
MGM map up. It was Broncos ten and a half
plus ten and a half minus so five when the
rest of the market was ten. So you know, I
market cap, and market cap means you take a lot
of the sharp sports books, look at their lines, look

(17:57):
at look at some of the slower ones, and then
you look at bet MGM and out there right now,
MGM was the only ten and a half out there,
but now it has spun around where the line seven
and a half. And by the way, the total of
the game was forty eight and a half. Now it's
down to forty four and a half based on what
you guys just said that drive. So it's so tough.
These lines move so much, it's unbelievable. Because right away

(18:21):
I liked the plus ten and a half of course
they were out of market. But now that I look
at the seven and a half, I'm looking at the
current lines of some eights. Yeah, there is some seven
and a half, so right now it's a pass for me.
But this is more of market capping for me when
I bet live. It's nothing to do with what's going
on the screen in front of me. It's you know,
taking the sharp sports books and looking at the slower ones.

(18:44):
But MGM hung that ten and a half out there
for a long time. When the market was ten, there
was even some plus nine and minus nine and a
half minus a quarter, and like I said, they had
ten and a half. So this is might be something
I'll look at going forward. It's so hard to do
a lot of pre flop things. In other words, you're

(19:05):
handicapping all week. You're coming up with stuff fall week.
I'm in the middle of betting props right now, like
I just sent. I just told Jeff during the break,
it's very unusual. I think all the years I'm sending stuff, Jeff,
did you ever see me say under whatever the number.

Speaker 4 (19:21):
Is, yes, like like like literally it is kind of crazy,
Like the books will have three four five yard difference.
I saw one for this morning on a quarterback. One
was like two twenty two and one might have been
like two eleven, Like ten yard difference between quarterbacks. It's
a lot in a.

Speaker 5 (19:40):
Game, sure, Sure, And what I'm referring to, though, is
I sent Jeff under Arizona Michael Carter rushing yards under
whatever the rushing yards is. And even last night.

Speaker 4 (19:50):
With your bets number by the way, yeah.

Speaker 5 (19:52):
MGM thirty seven and a half minus one ten under. Yeah.
But so doing all that, doing all this pre flop stuff,
look at that stuff. Look at watching the screen, watching
the live line movements. Now you want to bet live wagering.
My god, it's so tough to juggle everything. But seeing
that ten and a half though, actually did perks, like wow,
plus ten and a half minus oh five when I'm

(20:13):
looking at like the the markets that control the line
at minus seven and I'm sorry minus nine and a
half and ten and that that. But however, this has
nothing to do with I like the Jets. This can
turn around the other way and I can like Denver
minus seven and a half. I'm not I'm just saying
it depends on what time of the game. What's going on,

(20:34):
you guys, I don't have the game out of the
back round. He said, it was an errant pass or
some something.

Speaker 4 (20:38):
Yeah, the jetital ball to twenty.

Speaker 5 (20:41):
Now the throne pass at their own twenty Yeah, yeh
at their own twenty. Oh but but yeah, I mean.

Speaker 4 (20:47):
No first down to have fourteen yards on offense. Can
I tell you, guys, I mentioned this to you to
you guys before many times. I think the best market
to bet on heading into a s is the sack market.
For is the sack market. It's my opinion the sack

(21:07):
market is routinely mispriced. I'll give you an example in
this in this.

Speaker 1 (21:10):
Game gotta be your well, okay, you're talking to the
digital games.

Speaker 4 (21:14):
Yeah, yeah, So he had thirteen and a half sacks
last season, and most of the time when young defensive
ends get to sort of double digits, they always stay
up there. They always stay up there. And then also
you have game situation right where you have the Jets
are behind or really the Broncos is gonna be heading
a lot of games that we all agree on that
chance to rush the passer bet MGM. I bet at

(21:36):
this year nine and a half over nine and a half. Again,
he had thirteen and a half last season. He has seven.
He's on track to break the record for sacks in
a season. I don't get these These markets are wrong
all the time. I make the most money in any
future bet every single season on taking sacks. Over one year,
they had Bosa like ten and a half. He had

(21:58):
with eighteen. I don't I think that they assume maybe
some injuries every now and then. But yeah, Benito's number
was nine and a half. Crack, I bet it twice.
He has seven.

Speaker 5 (22:10):
If this shocks me, Jeff, I thought you were going
the other way. I really did.

Speaker 1 (22:14):
Wow.

Speaker 4 (22:14):
Oh no, I bet I bet sack, I bet sack overs. Yeah,
I have Jared Verse over seven and a half. He's
got two sacks this season. He had four and a
half last year. But he's a young kid, and I
have Benito over nine and a half. Look, some of
them are like Miles Garrett's fourteen and a half. That's
you'll bet that one, right, Yeah, But these young guys man,
once they reach a certain point of their career, they
don't really go down unless they're hurt and and get

(22:35):
game situation right. Like the Jets and the Broncos. By
the way, rush the passer or the entire game. The
Jets went backwards already, it's third and fifteen. Like Benilla
gets a chance down to rush the passer. Again, he's
off actually off side, so it's not gonna work. He
had a he had a chance to rush the passer
there he was off side. They're gonna call the play dead.
But like, I get one more sack in this game, crack.

(22:56):
I got eight sacks in six games.

Speaker 1 (22:58):
Yeah, because you know the pre flop.

Speaker 5 (23:00):
If you remember two seasons ago, I was, I was
in Connecticut. I was betting these at the counter that
they were giving me a die max, and I was
going up betting over and over again, and one of
my my my main prop guys was saying, just keep
on betting the under on this individual sack player, and
we killed him that year. I noticed the next season
we only bet two of them and they were both under,

(23:23):
and this season we bet none. We didn't bet a
single I mean we have five and oh or six
and oh six and oh two and oh so over
two seasons betting undersack props and then nothing this year.
So that's interesting that you're saying that, I just I
just I thought you were going in that direction.

Speaker 4 (23:40):
Well under undersacks. So for some of the big dogs
that the number is super high and they're getting hurt,
like you know, Wat's been hurt year over year. Garrett
sort of gets beat up, like the just just sacked now,
but he on didn't get home, but they got another sack.
I mean they've sacked him four times now so far
this game.

Speaker 1 (23:54):
Their offense is can Garrett Wilson get open on this play? Correct?
And if it's not, if he's not open, it's like, well,
Justin Fields is most likely going to get sacked. That's
the Jets offense. It's a disaster by the way. I
picked that yet more sacked.

Speaker 4 (24:07):
I know we'll get one more sacked this game and he.

Speaker 1 (24:09):
Might h I peaked at the u Justin Fields passing
yards total because of what you said. You know, he
crushes it against prevent defenses late in the fourth quarter.

Speaker 4 (24:19):
But I don't know about this. I don't know about
this pass rush though.

Speaker 1 (24:22):
Yeah it's nasty, but uh, it was at one thirty
five and a half. It's got to tick down a
little bit here. He has one passing yard right now.
It's at one twenty six and a half as we speak.

Speaker 4 (24:33):
The field well, they have twelve yards on offense right now? Yeah,
I mean one.

Speaker 1 (24:37):
Hundred is it's one twenty six and a half.

Speaker 4 (24:43):
I mean in the games he started and finished this year,
he threw for two eighteen twenty six and two eighty three.

Speaker 5 (24:50):
Are the Jets? I know the record says it. I
guess Jets are cracked there? Are they the worst team
in football?

Speaker 9 (24:56):
Uh?

Speaker 1 (24:57):
Yeah, they're the only winless team.

Speaker 5 (24:58):
Yeah, I know the ra saying another record says it,
but it doesn't always.

Speaker 4 (25:02):
I might have to get on that number. That's that's
like insanely low. I mean, a couple of mistackles here
and there, and they're gonna get the ball, right, that's
that never feels like insanely.

Speaker 1 (25:11):
Maybe you get a two minute drive before halftime. Maybe
it completes a couple of passes.

Speaker 4 (25:16):
You know, unless he gets benched. That's only that's only
what if he gets benched.

Speaker 5 (25:21):
The live segment, Yeah, Waier and carries over to the
next segment. Love it. What do you see for him?

Speaker 1 (25:28):
What the passing yards total? It's right now, I'll get
it for you.

Speaker 4 (25:31):
It's at uh, let's see six and a half.

Speaker 1 (25:34):
Yeah, one twenty six and a half.

Speaker 5 (25:35):
Yeah, for anyone home listening. They if they think we're
just talking. Chef by accident turned his phone just down.
He has the app up. He's firing. This is no ps. Yeah,
hey man, at.

Speaker 4 (25:48):
Least let me at least look it. I I gotta.

Speaker 1 (25:50):
If you're gonna fire, now's the time to do it.
This is the ultimate by and low spot.

Speaker 4 (25:54):
I think I'm I have to do it. Yeah, I'm
gonnaut A little bit less on that I put Dylan
Gabriel last week. That just broke my heart and shattered
into a million piece. I had a weird college day yesterday,
so I think today hopefully is a little bit better.
I mean, Albert not to cover yesterday was a joke.
I don't know how that happened.

Speaker 1 (26:08):
Yeah, rough, I was wrong.

Speaker 4 (26:09):
About USC Michigan. I think I went three to three
and one in the contest is what it is. But yeah,
it's a weird, weird college day.

Speaker 5 (26:18):
I mean the over, MGM, what are you betting?

Speaker 4 (26:20):
Tell me you bet one twenty six and a half.

Speaker 5 (26:23):
One twenty six and a half fie Fields.

Speaker 4 (26:25):
Minus twenty eighteen.

Speaker 5 (26:27):
That's funny, that's exactly what I weighed this one in
one twenty six right, must mean some.

Speaker 1 (26:35):
Same same very nice looking spelt over there.

Speaker 4 (26:38):
Like that song fel unnecessary, but that is what it is.
I will put a little music in the back.

Speaker 7 (26:43):
I promise you that your your production crew is to
USC alumni.

Speaker 5 (26:47):
Oh I'm about that, okay.

Speaker 4 (26:50):
Also I'm from That's probably Riley's most important win he's
had in his tenure at USA.

Speaker 6 (26:55):
Most complete I've seen the defense.

Speaker 7 (26:56):
Also, I also grew up in Toledos, so I had
to deal with a lot of Michigan and I had
like at least three of them try to hit me
up this week man to see if I could get
cheaper tickets for them to the game. And I'm like, no,
you're the enemy. And also they squeeze alumni just as
much for those tickets.

Speaker 5 (27:11):
That's funny. I always thought they could like gave it
the real friendly with an alumni. I did not realize, Well.

Speaker 7 (27:16):
There's a lot of benefits to being a USC alumni.
It's just not tickets for USC games right.

Speaker 4 (27:21):
In that big old stadium. You can't find yourself a ticket.

Speaker 7 (27:24):
Not not not cheaper. The thing is is like they're
trying to get under the market price. And it's like
even if I could help you, I would not.

Speaker 1 (27:33):
All right, we got to get to a quarterback. Not
not in the best spot today, want to get to
that next. But we're in a good spot. We got
Dan Bayer this morning, Dan sitting in with us.

Speaker 5 (27:43):
What's going on?

Speaker 1 (27:44):
Dan?

Speaker 8 (27:44):
Hey, guys, Despite that early turnover by the Broncos, as
you talked about it, Bonnix right now on a pretty
good spot for the Broncos.

Speaker 1 (27:50):
Bo doesn't have to take the snap here, Let's see
he does.

Speaker 5 (27:53):
Punks it throws a ball right open inside to five
touchdown Denver.

Speaker 3 (27:58):
That is Nate after.

Speaker 8 (28:01):
Call there on KOA eight fifty AM and ninety four
point one FM, the Broncos Radio network. Extra point was
good and that's how Denver got that ten to six
lead over the Jets right now out gaining New York
the Broncos ours, you guys talked about one hundred and
forty seven to one.

Speaker 6 (28:18):
That's the yardage total right now.

Speaker 8 (28:21):
Other news from the NFL coming up today, Cardinals and
Colts playing in Week six, and it looks like Jacoby
Brissett's going to start a quarterback for Arizona Kyler Murray
Jinling with that foot injury. NFL Network says that preparing
to go against his former team in Indy. Say Flowers
should go for the Ravens today against the Rams, while
Quinton Johnson's situation with the Chargers a bit different, not

(28:42):
likely to play today in Miami against the Dolphins. Niners
should start Mac Jones at quarterback. He was on the
injury report, but he's going to start in place of
the injured Brock Party, who does have a chance to
play a Week seven. Juwan Jennings expected to go for
San Francisco and the Raiders without Brock Bauers again today
against the ty SATs.

Speaker 6 (29:00):
That's not new news, but it is new.

Speaker 8 (29:02):
News that the NFL Network says Bower's also likely to
be held out of Week seven for their matchup against
the Chiefs because of his knee injury, as they have
a bye coming up in Week eight. Saints turning back
Alvin Kamara should start today despite being questionable to face
the Patriots. Now his future in New Orleans is in question,
but the NFL Network reported earlier today that Kamara told
the team's front office he would prefer to stay in

(29:23):
New Orleans instead of being dealt prior to the trade
deadline that comes up on November fourth, that's just after
Week nine. Guys, Tonight on Fox eight o'clock Eastern, tom
it's game one of the Alcs Mariners in Blue Jays
in Toronto, and I'll see s gets hidaway tomorrow night
in Milwaukee with the Brewers home to the Dodgers.

Speaker 6 (29:40):
Back to you, guys, Thank you, Dan.

Speaker 1 (29:41):
It is Fox Sports Radios Countdown to kick Off, presented
by Bett mgm. All Right, we've got the Browns at
the Steelers today. Steelers now a six point favorite. It's
ticked up steadily throughout the week. Not a great spot
for Dylan Gabriel, right, would you agree with that? Pretty
good pass rush over there? With the Steelers, they're they're
tied for fifth with fourteen sacks on the season, the

(30:06):
exact same number as the Browns. They're actually tied in
terms of defensive sacks this season. But this is the
second start, you know, for Dylan Gabriel. It's the first
true road game for Dylan Gabriel in his NFL career,
So different kind of tests today. First start was last week,
you know, international game, which is not the easiest time

(30:29):
to start your first NFL game. I think is this
is tougher. You know, a week after going across the pond,
now you're in Pittsburgh not a prolific offense, So facing
Watt in the pass rush not the greatest spot for
Dylan Gabriel.

Speaker 4 (30:45):
I would say, I the Browns, I think, look, they're
gonna do short passes, run the football, like sort of
like the game plan that we sort of expect them
to do right all the time. Like, I think they're
gonna execute that right. The question is if Pittsburgh can

(31:05):
get them out of doing that. What happens right? And
I think that that's the biggest question mark for me
is uh problems had a big play called back on
a holding that that's that's the question for me. Like,
if if the Browns can just do that part of
their game, Brian, they'll be okay. But if they can't,

(31:28):
then they're in a huge then they're a huge hole. Right.
But as we know, the worst spot to bet the
Steelers is at at home is a big favorite, the
absolutely worst spot to bet the Steelers. So I'm curious
if if it's a spot where you you know, you
just sort of maybe fake Gabriel's passing numbers, but also
just don't take the Steelers. I don't. I don't really know, Brian.
I wouldn't be comfortable taking Pittsburgh here, But I get

(31:49):
your point. If the Steiers can take away those type
of plays, then the Browns are probably in trouble.

Speaker 1 (31:58):
Yeah, this is good.

Speaker 5 (32:00):
An interesting move this week with the Browns sending Flatcoat
to the Bengals. This obviously shows that Cleveland is just
less worried about how they finished the season let's just
be blunts, and more concerned with building for the future.
But they haven't won a regular season game in Pittsburgh
since like twenty twenty three, twenty some years. There twenty

(32:21):
one straight losses and they come into this game at
five and a half point dogs. The keat to the
brown success. They will be how Gabriel holds up against
Pittsburgh the pass rush, So will they have time to
throw the ball versus the pressure? Awatt high Smith. It's ah,
but for me, I can't. I just cannot lay points

(32:41):
with Pittsburgh. I can't. Maybe it's just this is my
team that I love to bet against. I bet so
many years against their season wins I bet against. I
just can't now I'm not betting the game but I
just can't lay the favorite in this situation.

Speaker 1 (32:57):
Yeah, I guess the good news for Gabriel is this
the as far as passing yards per game, they're thirtieth.
They give up about two hundred and sixty passing yards
per game, so they give up a lot of passing yards,
but they do put heat on you. So, like you said, Jeff,
probably a lot of quick stuff, you know, short throws,
throwing hot that type of stuff.

Speaker 5 (33:16):
You know.

Speaker 1 (33:17):
It is funny is if you look at both Pennsylvania teams,
the Eagles and the Steelers, what we typically say about
the Eagles, we could say about the Steelers, but we
just don't. Right, See if you follow me on this
one or you're with me on this, where before the
Eagles lost to in a row, right, we were just like, hey,
the Eagles find a way to win. Might not be

(33:37):
a picasso, but you know, they're blocking a punt against
Tampa for a touchdown. They don't complete a pass in
the second half, but they win. They find ways to win.
We don't say that with the Steelers, but it's the
same thing. They find ways to win. And it's weird,
right you think you know their last game is against
Carson Wentz. That's good for them. This game today is
against Dylan Gabriel. That's a favorable matchup, and they just

(34:01):
find ways. Man, there's a reason why they've had a
winning record every single year. Mike Tomlin has been there
for the last two decades. We just don't give them
credit because they don't do anything in the playoffs. Like
that's the difference. The Eagles just won a super Bowl.
That's why we say they just win. We don't say
that with the Steelers, but they do.

Speaker 4 (34:18):
You know, you're Brian, You're exactly right. It' because that
the end result, right, it's not a championship. And the
expectation for Pittsburgh because of the six championships, right is
super Bowl or bust. And I think we just get
so disappointed by the way they finish every season. You know,
this week is interesting because entering this week they were
not the favorite to win the division. Still the Ravens were,

(34:38):
and people pounded Pittsburgh. Now they're a favorite to win
the division and Baltimore I think, is gonna get blown
out again today and they're gonna end up being you know,
maybe three games up in that division on on be
four games up on Baltimore, right, and with Baltimore schedule though,
and Lamar Jackson coming back, I wouldn't put it behind
Baltimore to run down Pittsburgh and get that division, and

(34:59):
then Pittsburgh again it stuck on the wildcard round. But
I think none of us believe that that even Pittsburgh
does win the division, they're gonna win a whole playoff game.
I mean, that's where Pittsburgh is at right now.

Speaker 1 (35:08):
Yeah, yeah, no doubt. You can't trust them not in
the playoffs at least. All right, we've got Bill Krackenberger,
professional sports handicapper. Jeff Schwartz, eight year NFL veteran. I'm Brian.

Speaker 5 (35:18):
No.

two minute offense, I love it. First play after they
move the chains, let's run it. Let's run the ball.

(36:22):
It was nice run. They picked about six yards, but
running the ball in a two minute drill, it kind
of tells you where they're at. What justin fields at
this stage, it's.

Speaker 4 (36:30):
Better than the eleven yards passing they have right now.
So I only need one hundred and well, our mouth's
not great. One hundred and fifteen, yeah, sixteen we need yeah, yeah,
but hey, well we'll see what happens on this plate.

Speaker 5 (36:42):
Brian, I gotta make you laugh. So just now doing
to break yes, Jeff, I said, Jeff, what's the weather
over there because I'm thinking about giving out some unders
on some passing yards. And instead of just sticking his
head outside three miles away from the stadium, he sends
me an entire forecast from the thing.

Speaker 4 (36:58):
What a nice guy. It's my dude, Brad Panovitch. He's awesome.
He's my favorite weather guy in town. I like Brad,
so I just send you Brad's tweet about it.

Speaker 5 (37:08):
It's a weather channel thing.

Speaker 4 (37:11):
No no, no, no, I'll send you tweet. It's my guy.
It's a little windy and it's gonna rain soon. The
rain should be gone by kickoff ish. But yesterday was
my son's fly football game. Was very windy yesterday as
the the Charlotte eleven and under Hawks win forty two
nothing yesterday. Wow, wow, it was it was. It was.
Uh so, we were really good and we played this

(37:32):
team that played man cover against us. You just can't
play man against us. We're gonna eat you at the
first place up on the kids, Look, look, crack, you
have to you have to play. You have to play
it out. And like my son, for example, he's not
a great offensive guy, plays a ton of defense. He
plays every defensive staff but and so like they gave

(37:53):
him the in the second of the game, we switched
quarterbacks and he got the ball bunch like that type
of things.

Speaker 1 (37:57):
By the way, can I say this really, this is
so in embarrassing from the Jets. I know this isn't
breaking news, but real fast, before we.

Speaker 5 (38:04):
Get to the props.

Speaker 1 (38:06):
It's a ten to six ball game. It's ten to six.
It's fourth and I don't know a foot maybe, like
you know, it's fourth and one, but a short one.
And they let the play clock go all the way
down and I think they're punting. They're not even gonna
go for it on fourth and short. It's like, what
do you have to lose your winless? At this stage,

(38:28):
I don't get it at all. But let's get to
the props. Let's dive into this.

Speaker 3 (38:33):
Check this out par lay latter all right.

Speaker 1 (38:37):
The parlay platter. We just have one selection for you.
We pull it together for a greater payout crack. We
start with you, what.

Speaker 5 (38:43):
Do you like? Yeah, I'm gonna go with that. I'm
gonna go with that under passing yards two nine and
a half. I'm bryce young there. You know, it's it's
not that it's pouring down rain, but there's some wind,
there's some situations there, and we lean to the under. Anyway,
So now that the weather's involved here, let's go under
on his passing yards two or nine and a half
at MGM.

Speaker 4 (39:03):
All right, favorite ways of the day is right here.
I hope you can part put these to the other
Brian Hackers team total for the first quarter over six
and a half. The Packers are great in the first
quarter to just just try to fake punt. I'm not
even sure got it. I mean just it's just embarrassingly
bad team. Embarrassing bad team And what's Aaron Cluinn on

(39:27):
the field for? Did someone get hurt? There's a fight?
You call time out? What's her?

Speaker 5 (39:33):
What's he? What's he doing?

Speaker 4 (39:34):
Why is he on the field. I'm just ruining this
the social segment. Sorry, guys. We're running this Packers team
total over six and a half off of by very
good in the first quarter. Anyways, Packers team to over.

Speaker 5 (39:43):
Six and a half.

Speaker 1 (39:45):
Okay, I'm gonna go as I feverishly try to find
all these bets, you know, like, uh, six and.

Speaker 5 (39:52):
A half minus fifty five.

Speaker 1 (39:54):
Yes, okay for for six?

Speaker 5 (39:57):
What is it? What's your six and a half first
quarter points.

Speaker 1 (40:00):
Oh all right, give me colds quarterback Daniel Jones, I'm
gonna go over two thirty two and a half passing
yards facing the Arizona Cardinals today. The Arizona Cardinals are
banged up. Their secondary is bad anyway, Like talking, their
secondary is banged up. On top of being bad anyway.
By the way, the Jets did pick up the first

(40:21):
down somehow. I think Aaron Glenn slipped him one hundred dollars.

Speaker 5 (40:24):
Billis.

Speaker 4 (40:26):
There's nothing like whatever, go sorry break.

Speaker 1 (40:29):
Yeah all right, yeah, but listen, man, the Cardinal's secondary
is terrible and they're hurt. On top of it, They've
allowed every opposing quarterback to go over their passing yard
prop this season. I don't see that changing today. The
Colts are They're in a groove. So I look for
Daniel Jones to be over two thirty two and a half.

(40:50):
I will parlay these all together and let you know
what the payout is on the other side. About that,
get to that coming up also coming up next. It
could get even worse. Been awful for this team. Oh
what is going on? Happy Sunday to you, as we
have just witnessed one of the ugliest first half offensive

(41:11):
performances and quite some time. The Jets have thirty two
total yards in the first half. And we'll get to
the disaster that was the end of the first half sequence,
and we got a full slate of Week six games
to preview. Here, we'll get to one team that has
been awful and might get even worse today. That's in
just a couple of seconds. Hey, Throughout the entire football season,

(41:33):
bet MGM will offer all different types of no sweat
tokens and odds boost tokens. Be on the lookout for
no sweat same game parlay tokens, parlay boost tokens, and
so much more. By the way, in terms of the
parlay platter that I've had time to sift through BETMGM
and find all these crack You're on Bryce Young under

(41:56):
two to eight and a half passing out.

Speaker 5 (41:59):
Someone got to it. It was two and nine and
a half.

Speaker 1 (42:01):
But that's okay, okay, tick down one yard. Hopefully that
doesn't cost us. Jeff, You're on the Packers scoring at
least seven points in the first quarter against the Bengals. Yes, yes, sir,
I'm on Daniel Jones over two thirty two and a
half passing yards facing a horrible Cardinals secondary. If you
probablay those three selections together, it's plus four seventy five.

(42:24):
Nice paying five to one.

Speaker 6 (42:26):
Not bad.

Speaker 1 (42:27):
Now we get to the Jets.

Speaker 5 (42:29):
Boy, you guys during the break, Brian, I heard you.
I actually heard you in the background because I can
hear the screen and I'm hearing Jeff. For guys that
have I know neither one of you to have a
bet on the Jets, but that's how that's how enraged
they get. You imagine being a Jets fan. I can't
image season ticket holder.

Speaker 1 (42:47):
I can't imagine, oh god, just years off your life,
being an actual Jets fan. I'm watching them and it's
just it's bad football. It's like, put bets to the side,
whether it's a prop on, this guy is passing yards,
that guy's receiving yards. It's just awful football. It's embarrassing football.

(43:07):
The end of the first half is approaching quickly. It's
fourth and one, you're about at midfield. You're a winless team,
and they just let the clock expire. Like once again,
if you want to be conservative and say, hey, we
don't want to give the Broncos the ball, at midfield
and you just want to let the clock tick down,

(43:28):
run a play with three seconds to go, right, Like,
the only thing that burns you is a turnover for
a touchdown. That's the only possible thing. So maybe you
get a penalty, maybe maybe a break one, you know,
maybe something positive happens. The only thing that burns you

(43:48):
is a defensive touchdown. And you're gonna you're that conservative,
You're like, nope, let's not even take that chance. That
is so embarrassing. Aaron Glenn is so bad right now.
He's speakably bad for the Jets. They're beyond pathetic. There's
there's no other way to say it.

Speaker 5 (44:05):
I have a friend of mine, Mark, that's a he's
a he's one of those Jets fans. He's one of
those fans, goes to some games, loves the Jets, he
said Garrett Wilson. Jets wires who were screaming at Aaron Glenn. Wow,
screaming at the coach in a lot what goes on?
I love to be in the locker room there, see
what goes on? Now, what kind of a pep talk

(44:25):
do you give the team second half?

Speaker 1 (44:27):
That's the thing, Like, he's does the team give him.
You always hear this right, like he's lost the locker room.
How can you respect your head coach if he just
he's that conservative and that passive and shows that much
disbelief in his own team, Like how how would you
even listen to anything that he has to say?

Speaker 4 (44:47):
Be hard? Like that hard. I just they're just not
well coached. I mean, it's it's it's pretty simple, like
that's it's just that's just what it is.

Speaker 5 (44:56):
Yeah, well coached, even the second half line guy, So
it comes up three. Everyone copies. I mean people think
that there's bookmakers sitting in every single casino or sports book.
It's not the way it works. One or two sportsbook,
two of them actually put up the line. The rest
of the entire market. The other fifty sports books, let's
call them fifty worldwide nationwide copy those lines. So those

(45:19):
lines both come up three. On Denver, everyone copies the three.
And I'm telling you almost instantly, three and a half,
three and a half, three and a half four four four,
three and a half four. It's all Denver money. Second
half I guess you know, just it's interesting. So now
you know when you have when you see a line,
go to four from three to four. They're two key

(45:42):
numbers on a halftime, especially so lots of Denver money.
So well, you know, but theay, we never know this NFL.
You never know what can happen. I mean, the Giants
made the Eagles look silly the other night. So anything
can happen. Anything. The Jets can win this game, obviously
we know that.

Speaker 1 (45:59):
Yeah it's the NFL. I have a hard time seeing it.
But sure, Hey, crazy things happen, you know, I'm justin fields.

Speaker 4 (46:07):
You have to figure out in this game. What so
these games are one to two ways, right where the
Jets have They're such a sparity in yards in this
game right over like one hundred fift yards. Difference is
that the do the Jets come back to the middle
or does it get the other direction where it's like
finally the universe Like in college football. I'd argue that

(46:28):
if this is a college football game, the Broncos in
the second half would pull away from the Jets. That's
how college foo ball works. Yeah, in the NFL, and
it worked that way, Like it's just not the way
it works. Like you can make the argument they got
a holding call in the last drive and they gave
it like a forty yard Franklin like they're sort of
these plays are just not going cris for the Broncos.

(46:51):
If they start being more crisp, don't win this game
going away. But I don't know if that's gonna happen
in this game. But you know, by the way, half
sack again, seven and a half sacks now for the year,
I need two more sacks now, nine and a half.

Speaker 1 (47:04):
I think it's gonna get there. You know, think he'll
be fine, just as to avoid the injury, Bud, that's
the only thing that could get in the way.

Speaker 4 (47:10):
Can you imagine catching a sack prop over by like
mid season? That'd be great, it could.

Speaker 5 (47:15):
How is your live prop going there? Jeff with the
under one twenty six and a half.

Speaker 4 (47:20):
I'm just worried they're gonna pull him in the second
half for Taylor. That's it. I think that's a worry.

Speaker 5 (47:24):
Now.

Speaker 4 (47:24):
I think he'll get there just by digging and dunkey
in the second half. But questions whether or not you
know you're gonna get there, yeah, yeah, by.

Speaker 1 (47:31):
The way, and not crushing it, you know, justin fields
five for seven for seventeen yards. Yeah, first half, so
there's that. We turned the page on that game for
the time being. How about Rams at the Ravens. You
got the Ravens man tough times, but it's the money
is the hook is gone right. It was Rams minus

(47:52):
seven and a half. It's now a flat seven solid.

Speaker 5 (47:55):
Again minus seven minus fifteen.

Speaker 1 (47:57):
So wow, right there you go. So Cooper rush again
in for Lamar Jackson. Listen, man, this is the first
thing I want to say. You tell me if you're
on board, if you think this is fair, or if
I'm you know, just out of line here. But Lamar
Jackson is not a guy that goes out there and
plays if he isn't fully healthy. We've seen it time

(48:18):
and time again numerous times in his career. Happened in
a playoff game against the Bengals where he wasn't fully healthy.
He didn't play. It's got a hamstring injury right now.
Last time I checked. The guy has ten touchdown passes.
He can throw the ball just fine. He's leading the
NFL in passer rating. I know he's not gonna be
his normal dynamic self out there. He'd be limited. But

(48:39):
we don't see Lamar Jackson go out and play when
he's limited, Like, how does that you think Matthew Stafford
is one hundred percent right now with the back issues
from earlier in the season. Look at mac Jones, Mac,
He's watched him last week. Crack mac Jones. I thought
they're gonna have to bring out the ambulance for a second, right.
They finished the game right, and Lamar again is not
out there now. To be fair, he was lobbying during

(49:01):
the week to get out there and play and the
Ravens said no. So it's a combination. It's Lamar doesn't
play when he isn't fully healthy, and the Ravens don't
let him play when he isn't fully healthy. But the
season is slipping away. They're one in four, Like, Lamar
Jackson at fifty is better than Cooper Rush at one
hundred percent, and yet he's still not out there yet.

Speaker 4 (49:23):
Again, Yeah, it's just, uh, I don't know, man, you
think you're kind of right on that, Brian, Like it
just he just doesn't seem to want to do that.
And look, the question in this game is what do
we believe right? Like the Rams mean, the Ravens have
been the get right spot for many offenses in a row. Now,

(49:45):
I mean all season, Buffalo Detroit Chiefs, Texans. Do we
believe that this game is different to those games. I
mean people will point to the fact of like, well
they're pro. I mean they've been pros. He's lot to
haven't tried the Rams off that brutal thursdayight loss, like

(50:06):
they have time to prepare. They're angry about the way
they played. I mean, you could tease the Rams certainly
in this game if you wanted to. But I don't
know why this game is any different than the other
Ravens games they played the last the last months. I
don't I don't see I don't know why. One thing
we've seen this season is like the bad teams are
just bad. Man. Yeah, I know, I know the Titans

(50:28):
won last week. Not sorry crack to bring up bad
bad news there, but like they they should have won
and covered that game. We know that, like the bad
teams have just been getting their butts kicked all season.
They're not covering the spread a lot of these games,
and like, I just don't really, I don't know why
the Ravens would do it today, Brian, I don't know

(50:48):
why today's any different than games they played by way
Jets would turn the kickoff. It's like the fifties. Now
they have to just get some of yards, give a
field goal range and make this a ten to nine game.
It's crazy.

Speaker 5 (50:57):
Yeah, before I get into my little Baltimore ravenspiel, Jeff
brings that up. So last week for everyone to know,
Brian saenyds, I just get knocked out of the Survivor pool.
So one hundred thousand dollars entry, I have a third
of it. I get knocked out of fourteen thirty fourteen
fourteen fourteenth between the Rams and the Arizona. I get

(51:21):
knocked out of fourteen, so our suicide pool here in
town Survivors. So it's a forty seven thousand dollars loss
for the Kman. And I'm not laughing because it's a
lot of money. But I listen, I've had a good season.
I'm still up a ton, but it's a big loss
for me. And just at that moment, Brian says, hey, Crack,

(51:43):
did this game hurt anybody you think of the Survivor pool.

Speaker 1 (51:46):
That's not what I put at all. You have bad memory, Crack.
That's not what I said at all. I was like,
is this good or bad for you? Crack and hated me.
Crack almost hunted me down and tried to murder me
because I'm asking a question like was this good bad results?

Speaker 4 (52:00):
Well no, here's a no, because the crackhead said you
had said crack like earlier in the day and the show,
like you needed one thing. You were rooting for one
result to happen for Survivor. It wasn't that one, but
you were rooting for like a bad team to win.
Fee which team it was. But yeah, poor, poor poor
Brian just walked into like a bear trap there.

Speaker 5 (52:21):
So it took me like six days and I said, pribbly,
what's up, buddy?

Speaker 1 (52:25):
Yeah I know, yeah, yeah, yeah, it only took the week.

Speaker 5 (52:29):
You know. It's but I never get mad, and I
wasn't really mad.

Speaker 1 (52:33):
I was also yeah, yeah, yeah you were. At the
end of the night, I was over it.

Speaker 5 (52:37):
Yeah.

Speaker 4 (52:37):
I lost Survivor too, We all lost Survivor. Man, yeah,
it should it should have happened. I mean it was
you dropped the touchdown, right, and then yeah down.

Speaker 5 (52:45):
The sixteen people in this pool, the one hundred thousand
dollars Grand de Simo and uh yeah, the rams going
out was great for me actually, in that pool because
it knocked out like fifteen guys, and uh, it was
gonna our our our value of the each team is
going to be up tremendously. And you know, I think
if you watched the Arizona game last week, if anyone

(53:07):
and now listen, I don't want to live in the moment.
And just because I had it and look from my eyes,
I always say our eyes played tricks on us. You
only watch games from one side. I really think that's
one of the worst money line or if you had
a let's see, you had a teaser, whatever might be,
that's got to be one of the worst ones ever.
It was a perfect storm of four different things to

(53:27):
happen to lose that game last week. Yeah, that Arizona game.

Speaker 1 (53:33):
It was obnoxious. It was de Mercado going in for
an eighty some yard touchdown and he dropped the ball
before the goal line, like the game is over if
he just crosses.

Speaker 5 (53:43):
The goal line, going to be twenty eight to six. Yeah,
by the way, what was he doing there? Was He
just said did he not know? No, did he not
realize someone was behind him? And he just like put
the ball Like I'm trying to think what these two
weeks in a Rothers happened in the NFL.

Speaker 1 (53:56):
Yeah, did he just pre celebrate, trying to look cool,
trying to celebrate a little bit. Listen, I think this
is uh, you know, no one wants to, you know,
say this, but I still think that was a touchdown.
I don't see how anyone can look at that and
say it was con wol he dropped the ball before
the end zone. I don't think that at all. I

(54:17):
think he actually still scored. It's just no one wants
to give the guy the benefit of the doubt. And
I get it. I get like he should never have
dropped the ball. It shouldn't even be close. But anyway,
and there were fumbles galore. It was ridiculous, Like Arizona
got an interception near the goal line and somehow fumbled,
you know, just trying to gain some yards. And you

(54:38):
know the Titans.

Speaker 5 (54:39):
Were a touchdown right, Yeah, hit someone's helmet and went
backwards like just into the end zone. And then at
the end of the game, like running the ball three
times just to give Tennessee the ball back. I mean, uh, wow,
it was a perfect storm of things. And uh, you know,
we go on, we go.

Speaker 1 (54:57):
Hey, But I'll tell you what, as far as survive goes,
I see both sides of it, because for me, I'm like,
I don't know what team Crack is on. I have
no idea. This could be a great thing. If Crack
is on another team, this would be an amazing result.

Speaker 5 (55:12):
Yeah, if I had the Colts. The Colts was the
other option.

Speaker 4 (55:15):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (55:15):
So yeah, I'm like, hey, was this good for survivor Crack?
He's like, what do you think, Brian? And I'm like,
oh no, that tells me everything.

Speaker 5 (55:23):
I'm like, hit it. Brian shot back, well, that's why
I'm asking, Like he's ready to go to face the cuffs.
I mean, you know, it's something that happens, and then
you know, twenty minutes. I was over it.

Speaker 1 (55:37):
I was over it.

Speaker 5 (55:37):
But I did wake up Monday morning, which is very unusual. Guys.
Have you ever had a night that you woke up
from gambling. I'm saying gambling now, not life from gambling,
and the next morning you say, WHOA, did that really
happen last night? That was one of those nights. And
I know people out there listening have had those nights
waking up saying, God, was that real? League? Serious? I

(56:01):
actually said, but did that? Did Arizona really lose like that?
That was just so bad? It was Well, let's get
to this Rams Baltimore. So another week without Lamar, the
Ravens hope to avoid the going on one and four,
so they were rolling one and five on the season.
Crazy enough, this is the Raisins, the Ravens that were
they were picked to like some pros picked them to

(56:24):
go to the Super Bowl beat a super Bowl champ. So, uh,
there's still a dollar ten to win their division. A
lot a lot of talk about miss Lamar, but the
Ravens defense Jesus absolutely horrid this season. Uh, they got
forty four points to a Texans offense that hasn't really
been putting points up on the board. So this week

(56:45):
they take on a Rams team that is coming off
that real disappointing lost last Thursday night. Brian and I
watched that game together versus forty nine ers that that
was a that was a big upset. They were like,
they went to a nine point favorite in that game.
So I know everything revolves around this point spread for me,
but that's what it is. So yeah, that was a

(57:06):
real disappointing loss. I don't think your Rams will have
much trouble here on offense against this bad defense today,
and but can their defense get the crucial stops when
they need it. Stafford continues to show that these injury
talk this offseason may have been exaggerated. It cost me
some money. I actually bet against the Rams on some

(57:27):
futures with some you know, very very price dependent, but
I did so. Pookin Nakoul off to a record breaking
start fifty two catches five or eighty eight yards already.
I'm interested to see how this one plays out, if
the Ravens can show some sign of life without Lamar Jackson.
Now I'm saying all these things, and I got to
tell you I can't lay the points. I can't. I

(57:48):
just can't lay the points in this situation. I think
you're getting taxed already because the last week's giant loss,
you know, with the giving up to forty four points,
I think you're getting I think you're getting by having
to lay so many points here. But yet I didn't
bite with the Ravens either, So there we go.

Speaker 4 (58:06):
Yeah, I guess you could.

Speaker 5 (58:11):
But you know, I kind of stay away from teasers
this season because of all the sportsbooks raising their juice
on them. So I kind of stay away from teasers,
uh in situations and UH put it this way, if
you played teasers last week, you're in a homeless shelter.
I mean just the Rams Arizona. There was another one.

(58:32):
There was free big ones that went down last week.

Speaker 1 (58:34):
Oh oh Buffalo.

Speaker 5 (58:35):
So you have three seven and a half or more
point favorites all losing where people tease them. Downs were
the key numbers of seven and three basic strategy teasers,
especially on home teams, lifetime big winner, big winner, doing
that lifetime bet in those home teams down. But yeah,
everyone got killed on teasers. Money. Like listen, I'll say

(58:58):
it again. We said it before and the show off air.
There will be no collection buckets out this year for
the bookmakers. They are having an unbelievable season. Again, look
at the other night. They literally people put their their parlays,
their teasers into the Eagles game the other day, so
there's a fourth game. The sports books are absolutely cleaning up.

All right, we welcome our good friend, Christian Cipolini, Senior
trading manager at BETMGM. Good morning to you, Christian. Hope
things are going well in your life. You know we're
talking for your life's not necessarily professional standpoint. But what
do you guys need today? What are a couple of
the biggest needs on the day for BETMGM.

Speaker 10 (01:01:09):
Hey, yeah, all well over here. Yeah, this is a
little bit of a different week from last week. I
think I came in last week, Sam, we had a
ton of games where we were sitting in a lot
of fifty to fifty money and we didn't have a
ton of big needs or big leans. But a little
bit different case this week with a few big ones
that we have about eighty percent of the money so
far coming in on the Colts, and I think that's

(01:01:30):
just going to continue. Getting a Cardinal's cover at least
would be big for the book. That fourteen point spread
there Cincinnati vers Green Bay. If some way Joe Flacco
can find a way to upset the Packers with two
different teams is double digit favorites. That would be an
ideal outcome for the book today. Not so sure that

(01:01:52):
we'll get it, but when we're looking at and then
there's a few others, even Steelers Browns about seventy five
percent of the money on the Steelers, and that Ravens
Rams game is another one where we have a lot
of action on the Rams.

Speaker 4 (01:02:05):
So the night game time is interesting. You know, you
look at the way the Lions have played and the
Chiefs have played. You think to yourself, like, what Chiefs
are favored by two to two and a half? My
screens is not loaded right now. I think it's still
two and a half. And you know there's there's obviously
I think the public's all on the lines today. What
do you make of this game?

Speaker 10 (01:02:25):
Yeah, it's another interesting one. We kind of talked about
the Chiefs last week too, you know, especially from a
book's perspective, this in the past has been two of
our kind of bet on darlings. You know, everyone usually
tends to bet homes and the Lions over the last
couple of years has been a big public favorite. So
right now we're taking majority of the money is coming

(01:02:47):
into the Lions public wise, some of the sharper money
has been on the Chiefs, so kind of just I
guess take that at with of that at what you.

Speaker 5 (01:02:55):
Will, Christian, I haven't really terrorized you this season yet,
Sorry about that. No text from the Kman the first
six weeks. But now you're saying last week it didn't
really hurt you guys, I mean didn't really help you
guys like a ton I would think. I thought the
Rams losing out right, Arizona losing out right, Buffalo losing

(01:03:19):
out right. I thought it was like the biggest weekend
for the bookmakers. But your the money lines really didn't
help you guys tremendously last week. It wasn't like a
giant week for you.

Speaker 10 (01:03:30):
No, no, sorry if that was a little bit confused. Now,
last week we did end up being a good week
from the results, Lise, I just more so meant this
week we have a ton of lop sided outcomes where
we can have like wings. Whereas last week, you know,
it was pretty much going to be a solid week
pretty much no matter what happened. There would be a
few different ways that things could have went bad. But

(01:03:51):
you know, we had a lot of even money in
a lot of those games. This week we have a
lot of lopside of action. So if we do get
a lot of these favorites all winning and covering, this
is a week where it could end up being a
pretty bad one for the book.

Speaker 5 (01:04:02):
How about the Eagles the other night? Was that a
big game for you guys?

Speaker 10 (01:04:05):
Yeah, so we started off on the right foot for sure.
That was one of our biggest outcomes of the year.
On the New York Shimes game.

Speaker 5 (01:04:13):
No one in the saloon over there in South Philly
partying after that game.

Speaker 10 (01:04:17):
No, not, as the Phillies are losing at the exact same.

Speaker 5 (01:04:21):
Time everyone lost that day.

Speaker 1 (01:04:24):
Yeah, yeah, Christian. How about this Seahawks Jacksonville game where
there's been some money coming in on the Seahawks. They're
now favored by a point, so it's flipped. Is this
like a minor need for you? Do you need Jacksonville
at home today?

Speaker 10 (01:04:40):
Yeah? This one's been a little bit interesting one just
watching kind of sprint. It's called a little bit back
and forth. But a majority of our money, at least
in the public side of things, has been on the Seahawks,
so it's one of these ones. We're about seventy percent
so far today on the Seahawks. So as of now,
book fruiting for the Jags.

Speaker 4 (01:05:00):
It appears people are betting on the Titans. I mean,
good luck. I don't really understand. Do you see that
as well, because that number keeps coming down a little bit.

Speaker 10 (01:05:07):
Eh, Yeah, this is one of those lines that has
moved a good amount. I think we're up to six
at one point earlier in this week, so we have
got more of the sharper money coming in on the Titans.
Public money is still coming on the Raiders, about sixty
five to seventy percent of our total handle so far
in the Raiders. Really weird one this game. In this

(01:05:29):
four o'clock window where we kind of have a couple
of duds there, Titans Raiders is the closest spread. I
mean that fourteen and a half point one, So I'll
be curious to see kind of what happens after one
o'clock if we end up taking a little bit more
money on that game or not.

Speaker 5 (01:05:43):
So your your biggest one really for the day right
now looks like it's going to be on the Colts game.
Is that Is that the big one for you right now?

Speaker 3 (01:05:53):
Yeah?

Speaker 10 (01:05:53):
As of right now, that's we got eighty percent of
the money so far on the Colts and just with
all those injuries, not something I'm expecting change.

Speaker 5 (01:06:00):
And tomorrow night it's I know it's a little early,
and you know the public doesn't go to the window
until the last minute in which would be tomorrow either game.
Any any big action right now because I know a
wise guy group that's on Chicago plus the Points and
now I've seen Washington's getting the money. It's heading more

(01:06:21):
towards five out out here, and I'm sure it's going
to go to five tomorrow night when the public gets
a hold of it. But any interest in either game
tomorrow night or not really not yet?

Speaker 10 (01:06:31):
Yeah, So reseus of that Bears, I want to start there.
We have kind of seen somewhere where you have earlier
in the week there was a little bit of sharper
action on the Bears, but so far public money has
been coming on the commanders were about sixty five, getting
up to seventy percent, you know, still a little bit
earlier on that one. The bill stocks one is one
to sound pretty interesting just because of the way that

(01:06:52):
the line movement has gone. We right now this line
is at four open up five and a half. Majority
of our charp money has come on the falcons to
move that line down. But word about eighty percent of
our best bar on the bills. So a little bit
of reverse line movement there kind of usually a pretty

(01:07:13):
telling aspect when majority of our money is one side
to the line is the other.

Speaker 1 (01:07:17):
Way, Yeah, the old reverse line movement. Christian, Yeah, yeah.

Speaker 10 (01:07:23):
Usually a little fishy when you see that, yeah.

Speaker 1 (01:07:27):
Or extremely you know, extremely yeah, yeah, yeah. Well, I
always appreciate your time, Christian. Hope you have a great day. Man,
We'll catch you soon.

Speaker 3 (01:07:35):
Sounds good, good luck everybody, all right.

Speaker 1 (01:07:38):
Thank you very much. That is Christian Cippolini bet MGM,
Senior trading manager. Hey, we go from one heavy hitter
to the next. We go from Christian to Dan Byer
sitting in with us today. Always please to hear from
old Dan what's the latest.

Speaker 8 (01:07:51):
But guys, i'd love to tell you that there's some
heavy hitting going on between the Broncos and Jats. I
guess in a way that there is, but we're going
to type ball game ten to nine right now, four
fifty six left to go in the third quarter. Even
though Denver is doubled up the Jets and then some
in yardage, it's still a one point game as Nick
Folk has kicked three field goals today for the Jets.

(01:08:12):
The lone touchdown about Knicks touchdown passed Tonight Adkins at
the end of the first quarter for Denver. Denver's backed
up in their own territory ten to nine, though they've
got a lead on the Jets in London five minutes
to go in the third quarter. The inactives pouring in
and the Cardinals will not have Kyler Murray ruled out
today against the Colts, so Jacoby Brissett will get the
start in that contest. Saints and Patriots will play. Milton

(01:08:35):
Williams added to the Patriots' injury report this morning with
an illness, but he is active today as his Patriots
corner Christian Gonzalez. Saints running back Galvin Kamara facing New
England today.

Speaker 6 (01:08:46):
The NFL Network reported that.

Speaker 8 (01:08:47):
The Saints' front office spoke with Kamara about the possibility
of him being dealt prior to the trade deadline. He
told the team's front office he wants to stay in
New Orleans.

Speaker 5 (01:08:57):
No.

Speaker 8 (01:08:57):
Brock Bowers later today for the Raiders against the Titans
in a matchup you guys just talked about. In fact,
the Raiders likely to be without Bowers in week seven
as well as they've got a buy coming up in
week eight. Quinton Johnston inactive today for the Chargers against
the Dolphins. Ravens wide receivers A Flowers active today as
they face the Rams. Game one of the Alcs Mariners

(01:09:18):
in Blue Jays eight o'clock Eastern time tonight on Fox.
Dodgers and Brewers start the NLCS tomorrow night in Milwaukee.

Speaker 6 (01:09:25):
Guys, back to you.

Speaker 1 (01:09:26):
Thank you, Dan. It is Fox Sports Radio Scoutdown to Kickoff,
presented by Bett MGM. How about this to make sure
brace yourself for impact. It's just the Jets have the lead.
They just got a safety holding penalty in the end zone,
so the Jets are ahead eleven to ten.

Speaker 4 (01:09:45):
Well, they called an offensive pass interference to on Franklin
when it was clearly either nothing or like, oh yeah,
I don't really understand that, to be honest with you.

Speaker 1 (01:09:55):
But nonetheless that's a big deal though, Jeff. If that's
defensive PI offsetting penalties, yeah, sure.

Speaker 4 (01:10:01):
Instead it's eleven to ten. The Jets are winning with
checknotes like fifty yards of offense. They have eighty two
yards of offense on thirty seven plays and they're winning
eleven to ten.

Speaker 5 (01:10:15):
That's amazing, that's impossible. Wow, Jesus.

Speaker 1 (01:10:19):
But that's the thing though, Man, it's like this is listen.
It's an indictment of the Broncos offense, there's no doubt,
but you let off starting with this, Jeff, where you've
got a lot of defensive talent for the Jets and
they've underperformed all year. But it's life in the NFL.
There's just that one game where they're like, you know what,
let's actually do something today. What do you say? And

(01:10:40):
they're playing better. It's a combination of the Broncos not
playing well. Matt Peart can't block anybody like he's going
up against Quinn Williams. He's filling in for Ben Powers.
He's a guard who's now on IR and Matt Peart.
They kicked him down the guard, and he's had numerous
holding penalties, like he has no answer for Quinn Williams.
And then you saw the holding penalty in the end zone.

(01:11:02):
So if you can't block them, I mean that that
gates a lot of advantages right there.

Speaker 4 (01:11:06):
I mean the Jets have had I mean the Broncos
have had now to drive the second half three play
six yards point one play safety.

Speaker 5 (01:11:15):
Yeah, I'm looking at the guys minus two and a half.
So so Denver is still minus two and a half.
Denver live line minus two and a half the Jets.
Where do the Jets get the ball there? I'm not
watching guys round at Okay because because they had opened up,
it opened up money line minus two forty quickly down

(01:11:35):
the minus one seventy five at bet MGM. Broncos a
very interesting game. Like I said on the halftime, my god,
all the money came in on Denver. But you know
that could be Joe public money and anything can happen.
I mean, God, the Jets look like maybe heading for
their first win.

Speaker 4 (01:11:55):
I mean the Broncos have played atrociously today. I mean
they they they allowed what a seventy two yard kickoff
return I mean the Jets had a drive where they
went four players for one yard, had a field goal
off return that went seventy five yards. So now it's
another third down.

Speaker 5 (01:12:14):
The Jets think you're gonna say that Jets played atrocial season.
The Broncos half.

Speaker 4 (01:12:18):
The Jets are bad. The Broncos should not be this bad.
And I mean they're losing a game where justin Field
has thirty four yards passing. It's almost a fourth quarter, right,
that feels like not great. It's now third and third
and five in fields get sacked. I mean like it's
just the Jets are terrible. This should not be a
game whatsoever.

Speaker 5 (01:12:38):
Yeah, well, should have laid that two and a half
or that right, right?

Speaker 4 (01:12:43):
So was it? What did it go back to?

Speaker 1 (01:12:45):
Now?

Speaker 5 (01:12:46):
Three and a half?

Speaker 1 (01:12:47):
Now goes back and forth.

Speaker 4 (01:12:49):
Basically saying like if the if the Broncos score touchdown,
are the Jets going to come back and even score
at all?

Speaker 5 (01:12:55):
Are something must have happened though, because now it went
from these lines are amazing.

Speaker 4 (01:12:59):
Yeah they sack Field, so they're gonna pull a.

Speaker 5 (01:13:01):
Sack Field, Okay, and then but now the the it
went back to minus, it went to three and a half.
Now now it's back to minus two and a half
minus thirty.

Speaker 1 (01:13:11):
I don't know, they're just down to the eighteen, you know,
like look too crazy. So yeah, that's an interesting move
right there. Yeah, it don't catch that.

Speaker 4 (01:13:20):
He's like twenty five yards in front of them.

Speaker 1 (01:13:22):
Yeah, I don't know. That's he had plenty of room.
What are we doing, Broncos?

Speaker 4 (01:13:26):
The Broncos need need a drive here, man. They have
been atrocious the last three drives.

Speaker 5 (01:13:30):
Ugly game across the pond.

Speaker 1 (01:13:32):
Yeah, it has been very ugly. Real quick, just a
minute minute analysis? What do you think about this Seahawks
Jags game where Seattle is now favored by one point?
Kind of interesting move, right because I think a lot
of people normally when you see a team like Jacksonville,
they took down the Chiefs, this dramatic win at the end,
a lot of times you feel like, hey man, Jacksonville

(01:13:55):
got momentum there four and one. There seems to be
very little belief in the Jags to keep the going
here too, Yes.

Speaker 4 (01:14:03):
I have This is the game I have the hardest
trouble with, right because Jacksonville, to me, how long are
they gonna live on these turnovers? On defense? Right, Yeah,
they had three in every game up until the Chiefs game,
and the one they had was a pick six on
a play the Mahomes readily admits he was fooled on.
But that's a big that's a fourteen point swing, right.
You go from the Chiefs potentially scoring on that probably,

(01:14:24):
so you take the interception out, you allow thirty five points.
You know, like, okay, but the Chiefs offense isn't great yet.
Uh seattle to me. You know, league probably should have
won last week. They're up up ten, right, you know,
up seven? Allow a touchdown, get picked off. Tampa Bay
scores the last play of the game. Tampa's won three
games now, in the final play of the game, I

(01:14:48):
you're on the road, it's hot in Jacksonville. You play. I.
I don't know, man, I don't know what thing about
this game. This feels about pick them. That's where I
think it's at. I think I've jackson will get a
point a half if I lead to Jacksonville. I really
is a game. I have no I don't want anything
to do with this game.

Speaker 1 (01:15:04):
Yeah.

Speaker 5 (01:15:05):
Jacksonville looking to keep the momentum off that big win
against the Chiefs, looking to approve the five and one
doesn't even sound right. I got Jacksonville be five and one.
This is a tough spot for them, though I don't know.
Short week come off an emotional win. Seattle, like we said,
come off a tough loss to Tampa thirty eight thirty five.
Darnold and their offense has really looked good, especially against

(01:15:26):
against his own which I would expect Jacksonville to play
a lot this. Listen again, this is one of those
games where interesting to see the results. But I just
think also, like you said, Brian, I'm thinking that this
Jacksonville is foragay Zy. So we'll see.

Speaker 1 (01:15:41):
Yeah real fast. With Seattle number three rush defense and
Travis Etn Jaguars running back, he's been a big part
of their offense. He's got a really good season so far.
So if he's held in relative check, there's more that
Trevor Lawrence needs to do. So that's the question. Do
you trust Trevor Lawrence On the season. He had six
touchdown his five interceptions, so the more that's on his shoulders.

(01:16:03):
That's a banged up secondary from Seattle. Their past defense
has been bad, but if it's more on Trevor Lawrence,
I think That's the question you have to ask yourself
if you're thinking about getting involved in this game, is
do you trust Trevor Lawrence to do more? If he
needs to do more? All right, We've got Bill Krackenberger,
professional sports handicapper. Jeff Schwartz, eight year NFL veteran. I'm

All right, let's do this.

Speaker 3 (01:17:23):
Drop it up player plays.

Speaker 1 (01:17:27):
Okay, prop bets galore, crack. We start with you with
something you.

Speaker 5 (01:17:31):
Like, guys, Let's go Keenan Allen. Sorry, I'm trying to
get the current number for you. Keenan Allen under receiving yards.
A run heavier game plan from the charters today. Keenan
Allen under receiving yards. I'll get that number for you
in one seven.

Speaker 4 (01:17:50):
All right, all right, it keeps moving. I get that.
I'm actual staying from the same game because something I've
done and didn't work last week. But it's actually maybe
a back up tight actually caught a bunch of passes
for Papa Dolphins. The Dolphins cannot defend tight ends. We
thought it was Brian with the charge offense line situation.
The ball's going to be out quick, and so Gaston

(01:18:11):
is there technically backup tight end, but he has more
targets and receptions than the starting tight ends. It's at
twenty three point five right now, so I think he's
a good one to target in this game like.

Speaker 1 (01:18:21):
That, very precise, twenty three point.

Speaker 5 (01:18:23):
Five fifty seven and a half, Brian, I just wanted
to make sure I get the you know, we want
to give out of the tainable line at Thatt MGM
fifty seven and a half keenan Allen under receiving match.

Speaker 1 (01:18:34):
Very nice, Jeff. I'll give you most of the credit
for this one. It's an angle, that's just it's worked
out every single game so far this season. You gave
it out a couple of weeks ago, and I think
it's gonna hit again today. I look at Christian McCaffrey
out of the backfield receiving yards, I like over fifty
and a half. I know it's a high number for

(01:18:54):
a running backs, very high.

Speaker 4 (01:18:56):
Yeah, but he's.

Speaker 1 (01:18:57):
Basically like a wide receiver. Sometimes they line him up
in the slot. They work them into the offense a
little bit more like a receiver than a typical running back.
And you don't have a pass rush from Tampa. Their
rush defense is exceptional. I doubt the Niners gonna be
able to run the ball very well. You're gonna involve
Christian McCaffrey in the passing game again, so I'm gonna

(01:19:17):
take him over fifty and a half receiving yards.

Speaker 4 (01:19:20):
I think you have to. The other one I like
too is Blake Korum over twenty six and a half
rushing yards for the Rams. If the Rams are a
big he's getting a bunch of the carries. It's kind
of a gameplay situation.

Speaker 1 (01:19:31):
Yeah, yeah, that's true. Man, you think it's beat down
City again today. I know you're leaning Rams, Jeff. Yeah,
I don't know.

Speaker 4 (01:19:40):
I don't know why. What's different about today than other
Ravens games.

Speaker 1 (01:19:45):
It's still the same banged up MS, terrible defense.

Speaker 4 (01:19:48):
The Rams have to win this game after last week
they do.

Speaker 1 (01:19:51):
Yeah, right, well, hey, man, if that's where the handicap begins,
that's where it trickles down to the props. Right, If
you're expecting the Rams, blow makes sense to give out
Blake for him, for sure. Yeah, anything else, crack? Do
you want to mention here today or no? You want
to wait a little bit.

Speaker 5 (01:20:08):
I want to have someone for the end of the show.
I'll have some, but uh yeah, I'm just fire around
all sorts of different props. I'm at the beginning of
the show. So maybe someone got that quarter under it
because they took it off the board now, so yeah,
just tons of props, you know me? Quarterick?

Speaker 4 (01:20:25):
Could they announce that fam Knight's gonna have more carries
than Carter? That's why the Carter stuff is down right there?

Speaker 5 (01:20:29):
You go?

Speaker 1 (01:20:30):
Interesting? Yeah, all right, coming up next in terms of records,
this is the best game of the week. We'll preview
it coming up. Oh what is going on? Happy Sunday
to you as we are one hour away from the
early window NFL kickoffs. We do have a game going
on right now. Nice little first down run by Bryce

(01:20:51):
Hall as the Jets lead eleven to ten over the Broncos.
Justin Fields has thirty eight yards pass. We're in the
fourth quarter and the Jets are leading. It's craziness right now.
We'll get back to the previews momentarily. Hey seen that
red Ostrich logo on professional baseball postseason helmets. That's Strauss

That's st r au ss dot com. I know you
guys are fired up for the baseball playoffs, right, what
do you think about the final four matchups that we

(01:21:36):
have here?

Speaker 4 (01:21:39):
I think Dodgers is inevitable. I just I mean, you
have two of their superstars don't hit the ball all
in the series and didn't matter. Your bullpen's so much
stronger now that you move the relievers. I mean, the
starter is down to the bullpen. The American League Series
feels awesome between the Mariners and the Blue Jays. I

(01:22:00):
tend to lead Mariners in that one, even though bou
just impressed me against the Yankees. I think the Mariners
are better and do a lot of things you need
to do well in the postseason, Brian, But the Dodgers
just feel like inevitable in the end.

Speaker 5 (01:22:12):
You guys were at the dinner at Peter Luger's with Russ.
It was four of us when I bet Seattle yeah
there to win the number. So I got I gotta
stick with that my thirty to one shot, and I'm
not hedging anything like that. It was just it was
really good odds. There was like twenty and twenty four
to one and thirty to one. I'm just gonna root

(01:22:33):
for that. I feel like I had that fifteen inning
game the other day was unbelievable watching that. Oh yeah, yeah,
I'm because I'm just gonna root for Seattle and I
hope they get through this level, this, this next, These
are tough. This. By the way, I love playoff baseball.
I'll watch like I watched every inning the other night.

(01:22:53):
I love playoff baseball. These are some tough, tough series
and they're supposed to be so. Needless to say, I'm
rooting against the Dodgers because I think they're gonna that
Jeff Wright. They're gonna be really tough to beat. They
have so much talent, so they're gonna be really tough
to beat. So but hey, we have some Uh I
guess what does it? Does it start tomorrow night? That

(01:23:13):
when it starts?

Speaker 1 (01:23:15):
Uh, well, I think the I think the al is
it not today?

Speaker 5 (01:23:19):
Yeah? Okay, so tonight it starts.

Speaker 1 (01:23:22):
So yeah, we'll see, man, we'll see if the Blue
Jays can take advantage of that that rest disparity. They've
been resting for a while now. And like you said,
crack the Tigers. I'm sorry. The Mariners just beat the
Tigers in a fifteen inning crazy game and taxing arms
left and right. And yeah, yeah, so we'll see if
the Blue Jays can take advantage. All right, how about

(01:23:43):
this matchup Niners at Tampa Tampa favored by three in
the hook. Now, interesting matchup right where both teams pass
rushing wise not great. Both teams put up prolific passing
numbers last week. You might get a little bit more
of that today. What do you think about this one, Jeff?

Speaker 4 (01:24:03):
Yeah, you know, the Niners, so no party again. Jones
is a little beat up, right, and they're still not
terribly healthy around the rest of the roster. Tampa Bay
has been sort of living on the edge in these games.
They've won a lot of them close to there. Now,
to be fair, the Jets game, you know, what are
you going to do? You know, like that you're up
twenty three six and you win by a field goal.

(01:24:24):
I mean that just it just you didn't finish the game. Well,
I don't much you want it to play into that,
but three, I think Tampa was the side. I think
now that you're off of three, Tampa's not the side anymore.
I mean it's a tough spot for the Niners. I
just love the way Baker Mayfield and the Tampa offense
just every single play feels like the most important play.

(01:24:46):
You know that. They just play so hard and they're
always coming right at you coming downhill, no fear. The
Niners cannot rush the passer without Bosa, right, it's been
a problem with Theirs. If you can't pressure Baker Mayfield.
Is if the Bucks offense lines get a little healthier,
what are you going to do now? Irving's out, Evans
is out? Is God went out?

Speaker 5 (01:25:04):
Yeah?

Speaker 1 (01:25:04):
I think he's out.

Speaker 4 (01:25:06):
Yeah, Abuca, Tess Johnson, you know they're both injured. But
how many games is Mac Jones going to basically do
this exactly? And look, here's why I think it's important.
I just like to watch the game. So look, if
Karen Williams doesn't fumble on Thursday night, great play with
Niners the Rams twenty seven to twenty. They probably win

(01:25:27):
twenty seven to twenty. Right, Let's be honest. The Niners
are what five point underdogs in this game if that happens,
but they win. And I just think Tampa is better
cracked at three and a half. To have Tampa minus three.
Maybe by the time we do crack child, which I
I don't even know, Brian, I think I'm just having
an atrocious season right now. You you probably look toward

(01:25:49):
toward toward the Niners at three and a half.

Speaker 5 (01:25:51):
I mean, it's amazing how nothing gets in uh, nothing
gets in the way of our food. Brian Lay watched
that game in the sports book. Then we went up
to Benny Hannah and Brian pulled out the game and
we watched it. The guy's trying to light the onions
fighter shoot you and then the smoke coming out, and like, buddy,

(01:26:14):
let's just just make our food. Here's a tip, and
we got the game going on. I'm sorry, Like he's
trying to make noises, blowing the whistle on our face
and like he got immediately got a twenty dollars bilt
and understood and understood what was going on here. Just
some extra soy sauce please next. Uh. Yeah, it's been
a season of Mayfield magic so far for the Bucks.

(01:26:35):
Last week they got another fourth quarter, come behind, come
from behind win, as we know, to get the four
to one for and one. The heavily injured forty nine ers, though,
are also somehow four and one and look to win
another game with their backup Mac Jones. Who boy, I'll
tell you I watched him last week. He was like
a different person there. The people on everyone was just

(01:26:56):
giving him so much, just like Dark the other night.
The team was so behind them, these quarterbacks, the whole
stadium was so baker and Tampa's offense will we'll be
with it without the three major weapons today Evans, Godwin
and Irving. But their defense has you know, has been
their major issue this season, and their secondary is depleted.

(01:27:18):
So I have a question for both of you, guys.
If the forty nine ers win a couple more games
with Jones at quarterback, what do they do when they're
two hundred and sixty five million dollar man Brock party
is ready to play again? Do you continue to ride
that hot hand with Jones or this party play when ready?
What do you no?

Speaker 1 (01:27:37):
I think you just said it right there, back Crack.
You follow the money, you know, and listen, Mac Jones
has played so well, He's played so well, but you
made this insane commitment to Brock Purty, Like financially, it's
a huge a quarter of a billion dollars, you know
what I mean. So he's going to be playing even
though he's four touchdowns, four interceptions this year hasn't been

(01:27:57):
special at all. Brock Purty and Mac is playing.

Speaker 9 (01:28:00):
Well.

Speaker 1 (01:28:00):
I'll tell you this, you can't you know if I
could turn back time. I always say that every week
with gambling. Sure, look at the Niners now, you don't
think they have some buyers remorse? Given Brock Purty all
that money, it was crazy. It's this Kyle Shanahan's scheme works.
It's not like Purty is elite, he's good, Tua is good.

(01:28:21):
Neither Party nor Tua are worth the money they're making.

Speaker 5 (01:28:26):
Absolutely agree.

Speaker 4 (01:28:27):
So here here's the hard part about this, guys. We
talked about a lot guys, is like the alternative is what?
Like the alternative is what?

Speaker 5 (01:28:37):
Right?

Speaker 4 (01:28:37):
So let's say you're the Dolphins, right or the Niners.
You just went to Super Bowl with Brock party. Are
you really going to go back in the draft to
find a quarterback in the first round because most quarterbacks
in the NFL that are good are first round draft picks.
Just what it is? Okay, there's a couple. Jalen Hurts, right,
Dak's a fourth rounder, Brock perty the seventh rounder. I mean,
they got supremely lucky in making that happen there. But again,

(01:29:00):
like again, a lot of times it ends up being
first round picks. If you're the Dolphins, are you you're
gonna just let Jennison Tua and not pay him? Like
you just what's the option?

Speaker 5 (01:29:12):
Right?

Speaker 4 (01:29:12):
Like, that's my point about all this is like, you
have to you have to have a viable option to get
rid of the guy you have, and I a lot
of times it's very difficult to feel that way when
you don't really have the choice. And so maybe you
could you structure a contract to get out of it early,
I guess, But again, this quarterback accept that contract. It's

(01:29:33):
just really difficult to find the other option if you
don't pay that quarterback.

Speaker 1 (01:29:37):
I get your point, I totally get it. But here's
what I would say to that. Paying Tua what he's
making and paying Purty what he's making, those aren't viable
options either.

Speaker 4 (01:29:48):
I know.

Speaker 1 (01:29:48):
So you're you're settling for the non viable option that
you're more familiar with instead of the the you know,
the unknown viable option where you're like, all right, we're
just going back to the draft, free agency or look
at mac Jones. Mac Jones was on the scrap heap.
He's putting up numbers and they're not even healthy. They
don't have Kiddle, they don't have a uke, they don't

(01:30:10):
have all these weapons, and he's killing it right now.
You don't think they could find someone else when fully healthy,
they could do as well or better than party. Of
course they could. They just they're too scared to do that.

Speaker 4 (01:30:22):
Oh, buckles, got a big first down. They might turn
this game around. They went, that's nice to play called
by Payton. It's almost like if you try to throw
the ball down the field, you might have some success
out of just like these screens and just bs plays
they've been running the whole day.

Speaker 5 (01:30:36):
You know what's funny situation there, guys, So the feeble listening.

Speaker 4 (01:30:40):
So the ball was thirning eight at like the minus forty.
They got Mims out of the backfield. There's a wide
receiver against Yeah, and they kind of fooled the Jets
into matching up the linebacker on the Mims in the
backfield as a running back and they end up getting
thirty yards or twenty five yards. Now they just got
an eight yard runner first down. So it's second and

(01:31:01):
two inside the Jets thirty.

Speaker 1 (01:31:03):
Now there you go, Wow, Yeah, that's what I'm.

Speaker 4 (01:31:06):
Gonna play by play gud was very well.

Speaker 1 (01:31:08):
Done, very.

Speaker 4 (01:31:11):
Right now Lions, there there's no wind, no rain. So yeah.

Speaker 5 (01:31:17):
So with Jeff's talking about Brian throwing the brakes, another
person text me that I respect, said, hey, under, it's
gonna be windy and in in Carolina. Can you get
me some under? He goes, let's get some under on
on on young and I said it the Jeff and
I said, oh my god, we're dead because twenty people

(01:31:38):
are on this and now Je now Jeff loooks outside
and the sun and rainbows.

Speaker 4 (01:31:44):
Sun, there's very We have these tall like oak trees
right here, like these birches to like it right, and
then the tops are made me move a little bit.

Speaker 5 (01:31:52):
But what are you like, you like three and a
half miles from the stadium, right yeah, yeah.

Speaker 4 (01:31:57):
So uh yeah, hey, not not much happening right now.

Speaker 1 (01:32:01):
Hey, by the way, real fast, I wanted to throw
this other game at you because it's just so random.
The Bengals at the Packers, and the Packers favored by
fourteen and a half. Joe Flacco the new quarterback of
the Bengals. It was so bad with Jake Browning that
they were like, we're trading for Flacco. They traded for
the guy right, gave up a draft pick. They swapped

(01:32:24):
draft picks, but still they gave up a higher draft
pick to get Joe Flacco in there. And look, man,
Jake Browning was playing awful, awful football, but especially in
a matchupla like this one, It's not like Joe Flacco's
killing it, and he is stationary, he is not mobile
at all. Playing again, playing behind maybe the worst offensive

(01:32:45):
line in football. He's facing a good pass rush today.
I mean, what do you think about all this going
on with the Bengals this week? And they're like, yeah,
the heck with it, we're starting them this week against
the Packers. He's been he's been there for a week
like less than that. He's going to start against the
Packers today.

Speaker 4 (01:33:00):
So the Browns thought so lowly, lowly of of of
Flacco that they trade him to a division rival knowing
he was going to start.

Speaker 1 (01:33:15):
That's the other part.

Speaker 5 (01:33:16):
Yeah, right, I've never been thought about.

Speaker 1 (01:33:18):
That well, they felt that low about him and that
low about themselves, because if they were, you know, any
sort of contender, they wouldn't do it.

Speaker 5 (01:33:26):
You wouldn't deal that about themselves.

Speaker 4 (01:33:29):
Yeah, And it's the same flack of Wather. They got
bench fanthy Richardson, who, by the way, they announced today
is third string. Today they're having Daniel Jones and then
Riley Leonard at second string and Henderson is third string.

Speaker 1 (01:33:42):
So the number pass to himself that was prolific last week.

Speaker 4 (01:33:46):
The number is huge. I get it today, but I'm
not laying with the Bengals. Tell you that I ain't
going to know the Bengals. So again, Packers team total
for the first quarter is something I really love and
I'm okay playing on that. Also, the Packers are really
good in the first quarter. Guys, like there's a way
to parlay first quarters for Jordan, love for Jacobs and
for the Packers. That make a lot of sense.

Speaker 5 (01:34:08):
Sometimes that's so correlated. I'm surprised they take that. Would
you get back?

Speaker 4 (01:34:12):
Some do, some do, some don't.

Speaker 5 (01:34:14):
Crack Yeah, yeah, Well, I'm going to just tell you BETMGM.
The only place you can find fourteen and a half
on this game. It's fourteen at the major sports books.
As a matter of fact, it's fourteen everywhere. I'm looking
across all the lines in Vegas, all the lines in
far off places. BETMGM. Though with the fourteen and a half.
So that's interesting that they need they're looking for Cincinnati money.

(01:34:37):
And when Christian was on here, he said he mentioned
that game second, so when he said eighty percent of
the money was on Indianapolis today and then he went
right to the Green Bay game. So just remember now
my old saying stands true, especially the last week, the
last seven days, God protects the book man. Yeah, so
the fourteen and a half there, I'm tempted to just

(01:34:59):
put a peanut on something on Cincinnati, and I'm definitely
tempted to put something on Arizona, you know, looking at
some of the different lines out there. Now if of
course it's not going to go to ten, but boy
if it did, or even plus ten minus fifteen, I'd
be interested. But hey, you know, you never know what
happens here to me. Listen, I was on a show

(01:35:22):
about five years ago. There was two seventeen point favorites
on a Sunday and both of them lost. Both of
them lost outright. You know the odds of two double
digit favorites losing outright, It can happen, though, because it
happened that week and one of them, believe it or not,
was this New York Jet team. They won outright as

(01:35:44):
a seventeen and a half point favorite. It might have
been the Broncos too. I don't remember who exactly it was.
Someone will chime in text me or on Twitter or something.

Speaker 1 (01:35:52):
But by the way, Craig, what would you what would
you guess if you parlayed those outright underdog winners? But
what are we looking at? Odds wise?

Speaker 5 (01:36:02):
You're looking at you know, you're looking at money lines
of plus nine and a half or ten more more
more right, right, ten to one, ten to one? Oh
my god, that's just sick. You're you're you're you're looking
at you know, uh, ten to one. Yeah, you're looking
you're looking at like uh a ridiculous, ridiculous. Just think
about I don't think no one has the stones to

(01:36:24):
bet two ten to ones together. I really don't, Brian,
I don't. I don't think anyone. I don't think the
books lost a penny on someone betting both. I'll tell
you what the book cleaned up with someone saying, ah,
let me just throw uh, you know the Denver in there.
They're seventeen and a half point favorite. I'll just increase
my parley a little bit. So. Uh, but but I

(01:36:45):
don't think the books lost a penny when and and
no one parlayed them.

Speaker 1 (01:36:49):
To you know, what's funny crack is you might be right,
but the funny way is, uh, someone probably parlayed it
with one other thing that wasn't nearly as long of
a long shot, and that didn't come through, you know
what I mean, Like it wasn't enough to go with
the ten to one and the ten to one we
had to you know, let's put Garrett Wilson over his
pass as a receiving yardage and he didn't get there,

(01:37:11):
and that's what wrecked the parlor.

Speaker 5 (01:37:13):
Yeah, I mean you're talking about.

Speaker 4 (01:37:16):
Undred dogs.

Speaker 5 (01:37:17):
Yeah, yeah, a dollar winning one hundred. It's crazy.

Speaker 4 (01:37:20):
We uh on a podcast I do acacultural ball. We
all theorize in taking Northwestern, We're like, should.

Speaker 5 (01:37:27):
We do it?

Speaker 4 (01:37:28):
Like I was it was it fifteen to one for
whatever it was, they're twenty and a half point dogs.
We're like, should we do it? And we're like, nah,
that's gonna lose the game. Like maybe take them, you know,
the twenty two and a half whatever it was, and
even live, they were like plus five fifty plus six
hundred at one point, like when they were only down

(01:37:49):
when down one Northwestern was and I mean we should
have done. This is now the first time I think
a team is lost as twenty point dogs and back
to back weeks one my favorites, back to back to
back weeks, Yeah they were. They were nine hundred before
the game. It looks like plus nine hundred before the
dead never doesn't look right, but plus nine hundred is

(01:38:09):
before the game.

Speaker 5 (01:38:10):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (01:38:11):
Yeah, it's so embarrassing to lose back to back weeks
like that. Too bad. You can't parlay, you know, Penn
State maybe with the future, you know, you know, the
look ahead.

Speaker 4 (01:38:23):
I thought I didn't do it, but but I thought
Penn State to make the playoffs was like the best
wager after uncomfortable.

Speaker 1 (01:38:29):
They're not even close.

Speaker 5 (01:38:31):
Yeah, hey, guys, you know what to I thought a
bet was dead. I was down in Florida. I think
I texted the group chat when I was down there
for baseball season. I got lucky. I want both of
them Red Sox to make the playoffs.

Speaker 4 (01:38:42):
But the playoffs, Yes, let's go, Jeff, but you know
got another sack.

Speaker 5 (01:38:49):
Yeah, wow, oh that's your man, it's my guy.

Speaker 4 (01:38:51):
I think I think they always that, but you know
it was that? Yeah it was, But you know, did
you give him a full sacker? Half sacks? Last on
the quarterback that all hit him late to this I'm
not kidding. This might be eight, This might be eight,
eight and.

Speaker 1 (01:39:02):
A half sacks a finish what you're thinking of? Crack
real quick?

Speaker 5 (01:39:06):
We got when I was down to Florida, I told
you guys, I bet Florida State under seven and a half,
and I thought I was dead.

Speaker 1 (01:39:12):
Now I'm a lot.

Speaker 5 (01:39:13):
Now I'm alive. Now I have a shot again. But
I thought I was totally dead.

Speaker 1 (01:39:19):
All right, We've got a Bill Krackenberger, professional sports handicapper.
Jeff Schwartz, eight year NFL veteran, I'm Brian.

Speaker 4 (01:39:25):
No.

Speaker 1 (01:39:26):

All right, coming up next, this team really needs a win,

(01:39:49):
but they are facing a machine. It is Fox Sports
Radios Countdown to Kickoff, presented by Bet MGM.

Speaker 3 (01:39:55):
It is Fox.

Speaker 1 (01:39:56):
Sports Radios Countdown to Kickoff presented by Bett and it
is time for the tire Rack play.

Speaker 5 (01:40:03):
Of the day.

Speaker 8 (01:40:04):
McKayle lemonon second and one from the twelve with eighteen seconds,
Germaine and.

Speaker 2 (01:40:08):
A tie ball into the halfs Mayava throws towards the
end zone, diving try with it.

Speaker 1 (01:40:13):
Yeah, McKay lemon, why not?

Speaker 3 (01:40:15):
Who else?

Speaker 5 (01:40:16):
Mkayle lemon with a touchdown and USC takes the league.

Speaker 1 (01:40:20):
McKay lemon, why not? Yeah, there you go. Compliments of
Trojans Radio Network, is USC took down Michigan. For over
forty years, Diraq has been helping customers find the right
tires for how, what and where they drive. Shipped fast
and free, backed by free road hazard protection with convenient
installation options like mobile tire installation, tire rack dot Com

(01:40:41):
the way tire buying should be. The Jets have a
shot to win a game, right, they're driving their near
field goal range. We're under two minutes now. Bronco's gonna
have to start using their timeouts. Life in the NFL, Man,
it's wild, I said off the year. I'll say real
quick to you guys, it's funny.

Speaker 6 (01:40:57):
There are so.

Speaker 1 (01:40:58):
Many betting ops. And I'll look back and it's like,
all right, I was thinking about this prop bet and
I was on this guy to go over his receiving yards,
that guy under his passing yards. This that this has
been a stone cold under game the whole time, staring
at us at the in the face the whole time.

(01:41:20):
And I'm like, I'm an idiot. Why wasn't I looking
at the under of the entire game instead of brought
betscalore And hey man, that's the way it goes. Sometimes.

Speaker 5 (01:41:28):
It's amazing you said something there, Brian, bet MGM. Look
at the stuff they offer compared to every other place
in this town. I mean, it's amazing the different ways
they offer to bet games. And as we speak, you know,
the live wagering opportunity still at bet MGM on this game,
you could still bet passing yards alternate rushing yard. I mean,

(01:41:52):
it's it's receiving rushing it. It really is amazing. With
with like I said, with two minutes left, as I'm saying,
and they're taking a few off the board now, But
I mean throughout the game. Really, there's not too many
places you can bettle all these kind of things. Bet
MGM a shameless plug for the sponsor that deserves it.

Speaker 1 (01:42:10):
So yeah, there you go. Sack on first down by
the Broncos defense. So Jets backed up a little bit
near midfield.

Speaker 4 (01:42:18):
Not my guy, though, not my guy?

Speaker 1 (01:42:20):
Who's that?

Speaker 9 (01:42:21):
Oh?

Speaker 1 (01:42:21):
Now you only care about Benito's totally yeah, I got you.
All right, We get to the primetime previews coming up
here in just a couple of minutes. First though, Dan
Byer's with us. He's got the latest. What's going on, Dan, guys?

Speaker 8 (01:42:33):
Third and eight for the Jets right now, down to
a minute, eighteen to go. Denver's got just one time outs.
They're up to on New York. But the Jets have
the football at third and eight right now. Yes, is
they're sitting just past midfield. Need to get a few
more yards to get into Nick Folk range. It's at
the Denver forty four yard line. But that's where we

(01:42:54):
stand in London. Broncos on top of the Jets thirteen
to eleven. Jets with a third and need to get
about three or four more yards to get into Nick
Folk range. He's already kicked three field goals on the
day of The Jets other point coming on a safety
on a holding call in the end zone.

Speaker 6 (01:43:10):
The Broncos Loans with touchdown came.

Speaker 8 (01:43:12):
On a bow Knicks touchdown pass today Atkins the third
down play incomplete to Garrett Wilson. So now it's fourth
down and the Jets will have a decision to make.
While they're making that decision, I'll tell you that the
Cardinals are going to start Jacoby Brissette quarterback today. Kyler
Murray is inactive for the contest against the Colts. Now
you mentioned the Anthony Richardson situation injured as I in

(01:43:32):
pregame warm up, so he's in active today. Bradley Leonard,
the rookie at a Notre Dame, will be the backup
to Daniel Jones for that contest in Indianapolis. No Quinton
Johnson today for the Chargers against the Dolphins. Ravens wide
receivers A Flowers is active today in their contest against
the Rams. A note from college football, Oregon State is
fired head coach Trent Bray. Beavers and seven to start

(01:43:54):
the season. Meritis have had a pitcher, Brian Woe to
their ALCS roster. Tonight, they're in Toronto to face the
Blue Jay is in game one of the ALCS. You'll
see it at eight o'clock Eastern time on Fox and Guys.
The Jets are going forth on fourth and eight from
the forty four yard line of Denver. Not going for
the long field goal.

Speaker 1 (01:44:14):
Wow, Nick Folk can't hit it from sixty one?

Speaker 8 (01:44:17):
No he can't. And yes, Justin Field's sacked. Denver is
gonna leave. You're the thirteen eleven victory.

Speaker 4 (01:44:25):
Nito Panito was a patito.

Speaker 1 (01:44:27):
I think it was.

Speaker 8 (01:44:27):
I think it was a team's Actually think about five
Broncos got into this j Yeah, you're impressive.

Speaker 6 (01:44:33):
I think Ry Mecklenberg got it on that one. To
be honest with you, I'm back to you, guys.

Speaker 1 (01:44:38):
Good stuff. It is Fox Sports Radios Countdown to Kickoff,
presented by bet MGM. During the MLB postseason, Strauss made
history as the first brand ever on the helmets work.
We're built to perform, smart pocket design, real comfort and durability,
from grit to glory. Gear up today at Strauss dot com.

(01:44:59):
Str Auss dot com. That is a fitting ending for
Meito not Benito is a Singleton. It was Cooper.

Speaker 4 (01:45:08):
It was Cooper.

Speaker 5 (01:45:09):
You A.

Speaker 4 (01:45:09):
We joked earlier about the Broncos minus two and a
half and I was like, you know what, that was
a wager I think about.

Speaker 5 (01:45:14):
I didn't do it.

Speaker 4 (01:45:15):
They went by two and fields had like twenty yards passing,
So that worked out pretty well for me.

Speaker 1 (01:45:21):
Yeah, what a gross beat if you got got down
in game on you know, minus two and a half.
Next thing you know, they give up a safety and
you're like, oh gosh, this is not looking good. All right,
let's go to the primetime games. How about Lions Chiefs.
The Chiefs really need to win. Obviously, they'd fall to
two and four if they lose this game. But man,
the Lions are machine right now. They are. They're gonna

(01:45:44):
be tough to slow down. But I'll tell you what.
One of the ways to do it. Get pressure on
Jared Goff. He's a completely different quarterback when facing a
pass rush, and Jeff Man, that's the thing that the
Chiefs have to do. You gotta get consistent heat on
Jared Goff. That the gates and lessens a lot of
their advantages. He's just not the same guy when you're

(01:46:05):
putting heat on him.

Speaker 4 (01:46:07):
Uh, he's not. But the Chiefs don't rush the passer,
as you said. So, look, I the Lions side is
so public, but I just I don't I don't know
what the case is for the Chiefs that their their
defense audit is just going to play better, like rush
the passer better.

Speaker 1 (01:46:26):
Now, I think it would have to be. It have
to be Mahomes. Mahomes takes outscore the Lions to score him,
it's a Mahomes game. He goes crazy against the banged
up secondary. It's not a great argument, but I think
that's the path.

Speaker 4 (01:46:40):
I mean, it's certainly they could certainly win a game
thirty eight thirty five like the Chiefs. Look, they're super
powerful the Chiefs for all these years, guys has been
that they don't quote unquote lose games, right, Like, they
don't make those errors other teams do. Well, now they
make the errors, Like now they're the ones making the
errors in these games. And so if that flips tonight,

(01:47:00):
they could certainly win. I like the Lions a lot,
but I mean it's it's like an eighty percent of
public is on it. I don't even know what to
do in this game because I don't want to be
on outside. We've seen these public NFL and college FOOP
all sides get battered every week, and do I just
want to say, hey, man, the Chiefs two under three
point favorites have been a winner. This was the same

(01:47:22):
thing against the Ravens too, right where we thought, like what,
she'szo point and a half. I mean not the same
team obviously, but man, I I don't know. I like
the Lions. I probably should have as much.

Speaker 5 (01:47:36):
Guys, I hate to give you a live bet here
that right and interrupt everybody, thunderbolts and lightning, very very frightening.
Only BETMGM has this line, and you guys should get
down on this. Cowboys Panthers first half under twenty four
and a half minus twenty at BETMGM. It's twenty three
and a half. Everywhere. I mean there's a couple rogue

(01:47:58):
twenty four under twenties, but twenty four and a half
under twenty I only see this at bet MGM. Sorry
to interrupt with I will get to the case game
in a second, but I did bet that that's a
live bet Carolina. Now granted this is based on the
wind in the weather, but still, as Jeff looks outside,
any trees hitting the window. Jeff, I hope.

Speaker 4 (01:48:20):
Wins picking up. Let's a go when you're earlier. Yeah, sure,
yeah yeah.

Speaker 5 (01:48:24):
First first half under. I think it's a good play there,
all right. So we should get another exciting game tonight,
primetime game, Chiefs Lions head to head in Casey tonight
highest total of the week fifty two and a half.
We should get some fireworks in this game, we're supposed to.
The Chiefs desperately need more consistency with their ground game,
but Checko and Hunt and Mahomes still leads the team

(01:48:47):
in rushing with one hundred and ninety yards. That's still
that chalks me here five games in. But it shouldn't though,
because that's that's what Mahomes does. Mahomes will most likely
be on the run again today. Hutcherson, the healthy Hutcherson year,
chasing them down. Glady has five sacks, three fourth fumbles.
It should have a favorite, favorable matchup today. On the

(01:49:07):
other side of the ball, Well, Casey'd be able to
slow down the Lions rushing attacks. They have been bad
against the you know, the run all season, so uh,
they're gonna have their hands full with games. Montgomery you know, Jeff,
it seems like every week people say the Chiefs are
in a must win situation. Do you think I mean,

(01:49:27):
I mean that's what you kind of hear this every
single week. After the Jaguars game last week, boy, I
thought the Chiefs were going in a different direction.

Speaker 4 (01:49:34):
Well, they're fourteen to nothing. They rarely lose games like that,
I mean, just the game. That's the point about this year.
They just they have lost games that they just haven't
lost previously. And it they can obviously just fix it
at some point and now they're back, but they they
have a crack.

Speaker 1 (01:49:51):
Hey, I think Rushie Rice is gonna make a big difference.
But it's the little things like what you're talking about, Jeff.
It accumulates. You go back to that Jacksonville game and
there are a million things you could point out, but
you just fast forward to the end of the game. Okay,
look at the difference. The Chiefs have the lead, Butker
kicks the ball out of bounds. Jags all at their

(01:50:11):
own forty. They start at their own forty, Jags go down,
score a touchdown, Chiefs get the ball back holding penalty
on the kickoff return. They're backed up to what like
their own fifteen or something like that. That's a huge
difference between the two in terms of starting field position.
Then you know, Hollywood Brown's not even looking for the
ball when he would have picked up a chunk over

(01:50:33):
the middle. That was their chance right there. They have
opportunities and they're just letting them slip away.

Speaker 4 (01:50:40):
As simple as that. And until they fix those errors,
are not going to win those games. That's why I
think again, like it's hard to back them at the
moment for that reason. But again, the Lions are just
a public side.

Speaker 1 (01:50:52):
Yeah, yeah, no doubt. How about the Monday night you
can't call it a doubleheader because they're staggered starts, which
is dumb. I don't know why they're still doing that.
But what do you think Bill's Falcons, Bears, Commanders anything
grab you there? With those matchups.

Speaker 4 (01:51:06):
I like, actually both favorites in these games. So Buffalo, look,
I think we overreacted. They lost to New England like
you lose the NFL, it happens. They didn't play terribly well.
They're not as good on defense. About those guys there,
I mean, they're gonna bounce back their inside on turf
rare he Morris By the way, it's something like four
and sixteen against the spread as a home underdog. Wow,

(01:51:29):
he's atrocious at home. I'm gonna find the exact number.
It's something close to that. And so I think Buffalo
is much better Atlanta, and they bounce back in a
big way in this game. Again, I think the Commanders,
which we saw with Jane Daniels last week, how much
more confident this team is right slow start, Daniel's got
going a little bit. I don't know if I buy

(01:51:51):
the Bears quite yet, guys, but Buffalo's is gonna make
the crack challenge. I'll tell you that.

Speaker 5 (01:51:57):
Hey, guys, boy must be like steaming at me. I
give this out to everyone nationwide. And of course there's
twenty three and a halfs everywhere on this Dallas on
their first half, they just moved to twenty three and
a half, so they moved the full point. So hopefully
a couple of you guys got none of that. It's
a Buffalo versus Atlanta. Bill's look at the bounce back.

(01:52:19):
I gets off their first seat, that's their first season
lost and four and a half point favorites on the
road in Atlanta. The Falcons off the Bi should be
healthy and well rested for this one. And I want
to tell you, guys, wise guy group I know is
on on Atlanta here, So I'm let me see. Let's
see the lines here, the line movement. I'll tell you

(01:52:39):
I was tempted to. I can't stand NFL sides. You
guys probably know. It's so hard to beat the NFL sides.
As we see, it's plinko every given Sunday, anything can
and will happen. Like I said, all right, wow, bet
MGM is the only of course, why wouldn't they be
best line on Atlanta plus four minus five? Bet mgm.
There's a couple fours out here Vegas, but three and

(01:53:01):
a half is it looks like to be the main number.
Three and a half minus fifteen, couple fours minus twenty,
there's one or two minus ten. But anyway, bet mgm
there with the Atlanta that would be the best one there.
Just to maybe throw a peanut on or something like that.
If you have bet MGM.

Speaker 1 (01:53:21):
There, you go. By the way, guys, putting a bow
on the early early international game, Broncos win thirteen to eleven.
Justin Fields is not a real NFL quarterback we're talking
about this off the year our trusted producer Bo Benson
and I were talking about it's amazing that you still
have a lot of NFL fans, like Bear fans, some

(01:53:44):
Steeler fans. If we still had Justin Fields. These people
are drunk. He's not a real NFL quarterback. Look at
his stats today, nine for seventeen for forty five yards.
He was sacked nine times. Like, here's an idea, throw
it away. Throw the ball away, Like, he's not a
real NFLQB and Mett I give.

Speaker 5 (01:54:04):
Him forty million dollars. They gave him thirty million of
a guarantee for two years.

Speaker 3 (01:54:09):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (01:54:09):
Right, but match with Aaron Glenn, that, by the way,
is a horrible freaking combination Aaron Glenn and Justin Fields
as your one two combo head coach quarterback platter right there.
You can't be that conservative man. The Jets were abnormally
conservative today. And look, you can hang in games, you
can have a chance to win games. You can't win
games being that conservative before halftime where they're like, let's

(01:54:32):
just let the time run off the clock. We're at midfield,
let's not try to do anything. It's fourth and one,
it's too risky, like you're winless. Let it all hang out.
I don't know what they're doing over there, man, But
for anybody you've heard these things right over the years
where I still hear it where it's like, oh, if
the bear still had just stop with the whole, if
they still had justin Field's thing. I don't know what

(01:54:54):
other evidence you need to arrive at the conclusion of like, yeah,
not good, just not good.

Speaker 4 (01:55:00):
Are obsessed with reclamation projects and it's a first round
biased as usual. That's a huge part of it.

Speaker 1 (01:55:06):

(01:57:01):
got some picks to make.

Speaker 2 (01:57:02):
Let's do it five five games against the spread.

Speaker 5 (01:57:07):
We call it all the crack.

Speaker 1 (01:57:11):
Alrighty Jeff, we start with you. What do you like?

Speaker 5 (01:57:14):
All right?

Speaker 4 (01:57:15):
Give me the Panthers, uh plus three hosting the Cowboys,
a total keeps coming down by forty seven. Now I'm
gonna do it Arizona plus nine on the road to Indianapolis. Yeh,
New Orleans plus three and a half. We talked none
about that game. I'm just gonna I'm gonna fade the
Patriots off that win against Buffalo. I like the Rams

(01:57:40):
minus seven. I'm doing it. I don't whatever man bade me.
Probably a bit terrible anyway. My eleven and twelve so far,
Brian and I will take the bills I'm gonna football.
I'm gonna I'm gonna go against crack sharp group here.
Bill's minus four, Okay, I like it.

Speaker 1 (01:57:57):
Fading the Sharps. I'm gonna gainst you.

Speaker 4 (01:57:59):
On one of the Jeff, Yeah.

Speaker 1 (01:58:03):
I'm gonna take the Patriots minus three and a half.
I just I don't buy the Saints. They were greatly
assisted by the Giants with their first win last week.
I just don't see the Patriots. They've turned it over
plenty of times this year. I just don't see them
doing that against the Saints. I think the Saints need
a lot of help to get a win like this
against the quality team. So I'll lay it on the road.

(01:58:25):
I'm also gonna fade a team with the biggest fugazy
win out of the year but probably the last decade.
That would be the Tennessee Titans with what Arizona. They're
like here gift wrap just for you. I'm gonna take
the Raiders. I'm gonna lay the three and a half
with the Raiders here at home. So a couple of favorites.
Let me give you the Niners plus three and a half.

(01:58:47):
Let me go with the Bengals plus fourteen and a half.
I'm doing it. It's too many points the NFL, and
I'm gonna take Seattle minus one on the road. I
think they have enough. I worry about they're banged up secondary,
but I think they have enough to take down Jacksonville today.
I don't trust Trevor Lawrence if there's more on his
plate and that run game is held in check. Don't

(01:59:09):
love Lawrence, So I'll go Seattle. All right, we got
more picks. Let's do this.

Speaker 3 (01:59:16):
Rapid fire.

Speaker 1 (01:59:18):
Okay, we'll go quick crack with something you like.

Speaker 5 (01:59:21):
All right, Sorry to go against Jeff here, but I'm
going to give out Atlanta plus the four Atlanta plus
four at MGM wow.

Speaker 1 (01:59:29):
Okay, anything else you want to mention Jeff?

Speaker 4 (01:59:32):
Well, now, I'm not. I'm off buffle, though I will.
I I don't know. Go chiefs, chiefs, Okay, Lorgan fans
off a ledge please. Okay. We lost one game in
two years in the regular season movies.

Speaker 1 (01:59:44):
All right, enough, Okay, give me mahomes over two sixty
five and a half passing yards. I says, at Lion's
secondary is so banged up. He has to eat, he
has to and I don't see their running game doing
a whole lot. Give me mahomes. Have we got cracks?
Play of the day, Let's do this.

Speaker 3 (02:00:00):
Okay, this is the best play of the day.

Speaker 6 (02:00:03):
Is a touchdowns?

Speaker 3 (02:00:05):
Sit man?

Speaker 6 (02:00:05):
All right?

Speaker 4 (02:00:06):
Crack? What is it?

Speaker 5 (02:00:06):
All right? Keenan Allen Chargers under fifty seven and a
half at bet MGM. Okay, there you go, receiving yards.

Speaker 1 (02:00:13):
That that dominating Dolphins defense, right than I am with you.
I enjoy Week six.
