Speaker 2 (00:34):
Now we're live from your tailgame. Here's Brian no Hire,
NFL Betteran, Jeff Schwartz, and Professional Sports better Bill crack Krackenberger.

Speaker 4 (00:45):
Oh what is going on? Welcome in Happy Sunday to
your happy week twelve. As we're headed down the home
stretch over here, playoff seating, playoff Earth's on the line here.
This is the uh let's go time right here. You
know it's funny. I'm so fired up for today. I
connected and I always say to Chris Purfett, our technical producer,

(01:09):
I always greet him with the YO, no response, nothing,
And so it's getting close, like the updates going on,
and I'm like, hey, can you hear me? Everything good?
You gotta me nothing, no response, and then the intro
comes on and it's like, and now, Mike Harmon and
Greg Cosel. I'm like, I'm an hour early. I'm not
even on right now. What am I doing here?

Speaker 1 (01:29):
So you went an hour early, you're so excited.

Speaker 4 (01:32):
It was an hour early. So yeah, now now we're
here on the right time and good to go here.
Good morning, Jeff, Good morning, Crack. Everything good.

Speaker 1 (01:40):
I think the name just scored again many and they
just fly to organ for a defensiveass interference.

Speaker 5 (01:46):
They h you're right, you guys, and they got.

Speaker 1 (01:49):
Them both at the same time. The one Crack Dame
was thirty five nothing in the first quarter. The live
number was seventy and a half.

Speaker 5 (02:02):
Wait wait, wait, wait not minus seventy and a half?

Speaker 1 (02:04):
Yes, yes, then that's the highest.

Speaker 5 (02:08):
I don't care if it's thirty five nothing. It's got
to return a little bit. They've got to slow down. Crack.

Speaker 1 (02:12):
It was seventy nothing, and then Cheky scored late. Now
I did see a fifty three that was out there
as well at the same time. You know, books a
little late to move, so you would have pushed on
sixty three.

Speaker 5 (02:25):
I have never seen the live line of seventy and
a half. That's unbelievable.

Speaker 1 (02:29):
And now Jeremiah Love is peaking his way in that
Heisman discussion. Now, I think not playing that last weekend
is going to hurt him because those two quarterbacks are
going to be playing Ohio State, most likely Indiana. The
winner of that game is probably the Heisman winner. But
Love has done such a good job to push them
up there, and can we finally just accept Organ's good? Brian?
What do we have to do to get people to like?

(02:50):
I don't I don't know. I'm looking for a depth
chart right now because I'm going to cross out the
names on offense that didn't play yesterday because we are
down to our fifth off tackle got hurt early on.
We started a redshirt freshman makings for a start left tackle.
We didn't even play well and won by two touchdowns
over a top fifteen team. I don't know, man, I
hope that finally people are like, you know what, that

(03:12):
Organ team kind of good?

Speaker 4 (03:14):
And how bad is the negativity?

Speaker 1 (03:16):
Well, it's just more like heading into the game, I
think people. Oh, then the whole ranked win thing we
go this every week, right, the ranked win thing. Organ
is three and one against ranked teams. That's what they are. Now.
If you want to argue that Penn State and Iowa
are no longer ranked and they're great, that's true, they're
no longer ranked, but there are three and one against
ranked teams. This discussion, to me is so elementary, and

(03:38):
people routinely want to be up to So, okay, you
count the ranked win on the week they played. That's
how it works, Brian. If I were to talk about
a coach or a team at the end of a
season or even just like career Dan Landing in Organ
Marcus Freeman at NORDAM, if I give you the record
against ranked teams, right, it's not calculating the end of

(04:01):
the season the day they played that game. So so
the idea that that again you had just ranked wins
based off of if the team is ranked that week
is so dumb. Like like again, Organ entered this game
for some people with no ranked wins because Iowa and
Penn State were ranked. Now Iowa might get re ranked

(04:24):
this I don't know us Now we're two and oh
against ranked at the time three or now you can
talk about how Penn State is not as good anymore,
but you can also argue organ kind of crushed their season.
You can argue Iowa, they had tough one yesterday, but
they won. They kind of won the Iowa way, special teams,
turnover and stuff like that. But it's so it's so

(04:46):
elementary to just keep it very uniform with the acknowledgement
of what those wins and losses mean now that we
move forward, right and you know, great example I use it.
This is like Alabama, who's a bunch, who's good, But
like they played Missouri at Missouri, they beat Missouri, Missouri
is fifteen the country, Missouri lose their quarterback, then they're
not ranked anymore. Is that not a right to win? Like,
you wouldn't argue that for it, you'd say that's a

(05:06):
right to win.

Speaker 4 (05:07):
It's a right to win.

Speaker 1 (05:08):
So to me, discussion is so easy to talk about
and people continue to flob it all the time. It
counts the ranked win at the moment, and then you
can discuss the nuance of that afterwards. The thing that
I think is so fascinating now in college football, and
you know you're perfect, got to talk to you about
this is the Nowaday in Miami conundrum. And so I'm

(05:31):
gonna probably speak out of both sides of my mouth here,
but I think it's worth discussing right so right now,
I mean not in Miami Norda both should be playoff team.
They both should be play out. Theyre both playing well
to be playoff teams. Obviously, We'll see what happens this week.
If Bama loses the Iron Bowl like they're out obviously,
and probably both teams are in. So they played Week one, okay,
and Miami won by three points. If they played now,

(05:53):
nor Day would win that game. I feel very confident
in saying that. And so how much do you factor
in week one when it comes to the big picture
of where it team should be ranked now? And I
can argue very easily that that game should matter not
very much when you talk about week fifteen. But but

(06:13):
they did play, and I kind of want those games
to be, you know, continue to play like I want
them to continue played. So you have to wait them
enough if they're head to head. Now that the committee
is telling you right now that the Dame is much
better than my name, but I think it's fair to say,
but you can't put our dame, in my opinion, above
Miami into a playoff if they lost that game. They're
both ten at ten and two, Brian, It's a tough discussion.

(06:35):
It happens. I think I think they're correct in saying, hey, man,
Not Dame is actually better now, but that game did happen.

Speaker 4 (06:41):
Right, Yeah, that's it's got to be weighted more than
it is. It's like they're not even really counting it
right now. It's crazy. I don't know how the committee
is literally telling you we're really not looking at Notre
Dame compared to Miami because we don't even think they're
close right now. And it's like, how can you say that, man, Like,
they both have the same record, they played each other,

(07:01):
Miami has a head to head win, and if you
look at you know, in terms of strength of like
impressive wins, their quality of losses, you give the check
mark to Notre Dame. They've had better losses, and the
committee values that. But how do you not look at
the better wins? A head to head win has to
mean more than it does. I just look at this, like,

(07:23):
I'm a diehard Notre Dame fan. If you flip this around,
this is what I call the Homer test. You have
to flip the situation completely around. And see if you
feel the same way. So for any Notre Dame fan
who's like, oh, it's clearly Notre Dame, would you be
saying that if Notre Dame had the head to head
win and they're ranked lower, you would lose your mind

(07:45):
if that were the case. So I just don't understand
what the committee is doing with We don't even compare
Notre Dame in Miami because their resumes are so different.
That's the dumbest stance to me of all time. It
doesn't make any sense to me.

Speaker 1 (07:58):
I think the reason they're doing it is, you know,
is it the Irish. Their losses are better than Miami's losses,
and so there's no doubt in a given year the
committee they value different things, Like one year they value
you know, you straight the losses, one year they value
the strength of your wins.

Speaker 4 (08:17):
And it changes.

Speaker 1 (08:18):
It does feel like it is something every year that changes.
That being said, I mean, right now, who you're putting
your money on to win the championship.

Speaker 4 (08:29):
Well, but that's the other thing too, is it used
to be who you play, who you beat. Now it's
who you play, who you beat, who you lost to,
and when you did all of that stuff. Because Notre
Dame lost their first two games, that's kind of like
a distant memory. Now if you look at Miami, they
lost two of three about the mid part of the season,
it's fresher, and I think that's garbage if you flip

(08:51):
flop that. If Miami is losing their first two games
and then Notre Dame drops two of three midway through
the season, I don't think Notre Dame's ranked ahead of Miami.
And I also think some of this has to do
with Notre Dame being in the National Championship Game last season.
You know, if they don't go on a run like that,
the committee's probably not thinking, oh wow, here comes Notre
Dame again. So there's a lot of stuff that's factored

(09:13):
in that I don't think should be. And so yeah,
that's where I'm at. I hopefully both get in, But
and I'll tell you this, I think it helps Notre Dame.
If Notre Dame gets in and it looks like they
will all this talk about they don't belong, it should
be my I think that's good for them in terms of,
you know, being focused on the playoffs. Coaches try to

(09:33):
generate that. So it's off us against the world. No
one thinks we belong. You could literally say that if
you're Marcus Freeman, and it might help Notre Dame going forward.

Speaker 5 (09:41):
Guys, let me maybe guys both some credit from last
week here. I mean you might not even remember saying it.
But first off, Jeff, you actually asked talked about next
week's Oregon game, and there was only like one or
two sportsbooks in the world that had a lineup like
minus ten.

Speaker 1 (09:58):
And a half be like, ah, I love or next week.

Speaker 5 (10:01):
Yeah, so you gave it to us last week on
the show. A big win for Oregon, but they will
still need a win next week at Washington.

Speaker 1 (10:08):
The lock of a playoff spot probably yes.

Speaker 5 (10:11):
So, Brian, you're irish blowout like we said seventy now
they were a big favorite, but still that's a blowout
win like that. Really it makes it makes look good
on that pedigree here now that they still need that
win next week versus Stanford, though I correct, a lock
of the playoff yeah, the playoff spot so got a
lot can happen next week actually the conference champions, so

(10:32):
it should be a really exciting finish our Ohio State
Michigan game that really could shake things up of Michigan wins.
I mean that's a big if. I understand, but it's
just uh yeah, so but you guys, I have to
tell you. You know, I made that future. I sent
it to us before the season. I thought that was
totally dead. Actually a little bit live now that I
think I took twenty to one on Notre Dame.

Speaker 4 (10:52):
Can't can out the Irish just yet.

Speaker 5 (10:54):
Right now, I'm an MGM. They're eleven to one and
I'm on a hold, I'm wrong, I'm wrong. Notre Dame
is nine to one, Oregon is eleven to one. The
Oregon can't win a national championship. That's they're dead.

Speaker 6 (11:07):
There is there is one fly in the ointment for Miami,
and that is like right now, if the ACC Championship
happened today, it would be Virginia and Pitt. Yeah, I
would not be like the Miami does play pits, So
I don't know if they would allow them to jump
Georgia Tech and a s MU to get in though,
but uh you.

Speaker 1 (11:24):
Know, yeah, look they yeah, they would they play pit
this weekend. No, Miami is like they can't make dat.

Speaker 5 (11:31):
Gent game up.

Speaker 1 (11:32):
Yeah, yeah, no, I don't think they can't. But yeah,
I mean, look, days champion would be eleven, essentially the
twelve team. This is the automatic qualifier thing that I
think needs to be discussed this year, and we're gonna is.
I'm I understand wanting to allow everyone the access to

(11:53):
the playoff. But what's so funny, Brian is like even
when I went to Oregon in two thousand and four,
I didn't think the success of the team I played
on was defined by whether or not we were winning
a championship and had access to the postseason, Like you
just play the game, like I thought of organ if
we made a Rose Bowl, that was a great thing.
We want twenty ten games is hard man heavy teams

(12:13):
like A and M has done it like once, ever
like you'll twice now like you don't. You don't win
ten games. It's super hard to do and and and
so the idea that like now you have to provide
access to the playoff for North Texas or for JMU not, No,
you don't have to if they're not good enough for

(12:35):
why like JAM you can be twelve and zero. That
is incredible success. Incredible success. Their coach is probably off UCLA,
Penn State. He's you know, like great success, your A,
your coach won't be there for the playoff, and B
do we really want Georgia minus twenty seven and a
half against JAMU. I know people say these blowouts every year.

(12:56):
I'd rather watch Tennessee and ohiose they have a blowout,
Like at least I got some guys, and like we
got some actual you know in your mind is a
tiny bit of an idea, an upsecond happened the boys
you say last year was legitimately good, Like they deserve,
to my opinion, to be in the playoff last season.
You know this, it's funny, Like the sixth seed right now,
I'm a Oorgan guy at orse seventh. The sixth seed

(13:18):
is so valuable because you play the AC champion, Like
you know how much easier that is than to play
Notre Dame. Yeah, if you're the seventh seed having to
play Notre Dame, organ has to host Pittsburgh or Virginia
over I mean you mentioned like it's it shouldn't be
where a lower seed, like not being in the top four,

(13:39):
it's like so valuable, like you shouldn't be. You shouldn't be, Like,
oh well, if we're not four, that's fine, we're gonna
play much easier team at six. It shouldn't be that way, right,
That shouldn't be a reward. It's a benefit of organ
probably it shouldn't be a reward to finish sixth and
you have the best path to get to a semi final.
Ohios State last year, obviously they beat Organed with one
But like the one seed shouldn't have the right now

(14:00):
the one seed, Brian, I have like winner of Notre
Dame Oregon or no name Old Miss didn't play Alabama.
Is that the right system? I just don't think it is.
So I don't know what the answer is to that.
But the automatic qualifier, again, I'm not saying that. I
just don't know when it became you have to make

(14:21):
the playoff to have a good season if you're a
group of six team, Brian, I don't really think that
that's the way the playoffs should be run. So, I mean,
it's a pretty big advantage to have the five and
six seed this year because you play a bad ACC
team or you play a group of five team that
like Boys at least have genty like there was a
chance a big exposed to play is happening. You're gonna
play JAMU who just barely beat Washington State at home,

(14:45):
Georgia gets a skip a coffin championship game, and then
play jam you at home in a playoff game. Em
win that game by four touchdowns.

Speaker 4 (14:51):
It's a tough deal because when you start off with
something that you're like, yeah, that makes sense. Can we
have one seat at the table for a group of
five team, like the best group? Can we have just
one chair at this, you know, twelve chair table. Can
we do that? It's like, yeah, that's it seems reasonable.
And then you start the game of what it leads to,

(15:12):
and it's everything you just explained, you know, instead of
just this Notre Dame Miami knockdown track out, it could
be Miami versus two lane, like who deserves to be
in there more? Or JMU Right, And so I think
fundamentally having a seed at the table for a group
of five team, I'm not against that, but what it
leads to and the seeding and hey, we're a lower seed,

(15:35):
but we have a better matchup. It shouldn't be the
case you should be the higher seed with the better matchup.
But it doesn't always work out that way because of
the way it's structured. It's just it's a little goofy. Man,
it's gonna be wonky like that.

Speaker 1 (15:47):
And what's so funny about talk about that and sort
of being like that's wonky is in the NFL. Tell
you what, man, the two seed, three seed might see
the Bills and Chiefs man, which will be like this
is like the like you have this great year, your
your you're a cult. So you go thirteen and four
and here come the Chiefs having won five to last
seven games into your building. Uh in a wildcar weekend.

(16:10):
Like that's not where you want to be either. So
it's you know that FL is different, you have a
different time of schedule, but you know, cultureball. I again,
I get it, I really do, But I just I
don't think that it's really serving the best interest of
the playoff to have, you know, all these automat qualifiers.

Speaker 5 (16:26):
Hey man, I be a couple early lines for next
week Ohio State Michigan between eleven and a half and
twelve and a half. Ohio State obviously favorite. I've just
seen a couple of lines.

Speaker 1 (16:37):
I think I hammer Ohio stay in that game. I
think this is I don't, I just don't. This is
the year they get them Washington organ I think seven
and a half people are gonna be on Washington.

Speaker 5 (16:46):
Pretty solid, seven and a half. I do see a
six and a half minus twenty out there.

Speaker 1 (16:50):
Interesting, Yeah, this's gonna be a This is gonna be
one of those where you look at the we're that
that John Ewing tweet on Saturday morning, and you have
seventy eight percent of people in Washington because Oregon so
be up right now, They're gonna be all over Washington.

Speaker 5 (17:02):
So you have an opinion on that or not.

Speaker 1 (17:03):
Really, I don't, buddy. We got to win by one
point that right now, Right now, we are down. Our
best wide receiver has not played all season. Our next
best wide receivers out, Our fourth best wide receiver is out.
We had four we have four scholarship wideouts play yesterday.
Our left tackle played like two drives yesterday. We started

(17:26):
a red shirt freshman. Our center is our most second
most important player on offense. He got hurt in the
first quarter. Our right tackle got hurt. The backup tackle
is already out, so we had our fifth offensive tackle.
So we ended the game with backup, backup, backup in
offensive line and four wide receiver so Washington also is
also super, but Washington super hurt too. The best Whiteout
didn't play last night. Their top three off its alignement

(17:49):
didn't play. It's gonna be ugly. I think it's gonna
be ugly. But hey man, I'll gotta do his win.

Speaker 4 (17:54):
Baby, just don't run a fake field goal as badly
as you know as you see.

Speaker 5 (18:00):
Week now, do they try to have a big run
up game making it look good here? Yeah?

Speaker 4 (18:05):
Thirty, Yeah, it's the last.

Speaker 5 (18:06):
Thirty my favorites. Do they even try to blow them
out again?

Speaker 4 (18:10):
Show they'll try to, absolutely they will. Yeah, stayin.

Speaker 1 (18:13):
Had a weird they've won the AX last night. It's
just a typical, like weird like AX game.

Speaker 4 (18:18):
Fantastic, totally absolutely weird. But yeah, that's the thing. I
also think, you know, the Irish are ninth right now.
If they could somehow sneak up to eighth, that's a
big deal. You get a home game, get a home
playoff game if you're five through eight, right, if you're
one of those teams. So we'll see, we'll see if
somebody above them drops it and they can move up
one peg, that'd be a big deal. All right, We're

(18:40):

BETMGM app. All right, we've got the Vikings at the Packers,

(21:10):
and I mentioned there's a team that made a bold
move and it has not worked out at all yet.
That would be the Vikings and going with JJ McCarthy
and listen, I know they're getting beat up on and
it's like we got to fire the whole staff and
we got to clean house with this decision that's being made. Listen,
they're four and six. It's been a complete disappointment, but

(21:32):
you gotta give it a little bit of time. The
dudes only had a handful of starts and we can't
just like close the book on this guy already. Now,
with that being said, the numbers are night marish. Over
are you ready for some nightmare inducing numbers? Check this out.
JJ McCarthy is passer rating is sixty one point seven.

(21:52):
That's dead last in the NFL. That's twelve points lower
than the Titans cam Ward and his off target rate
ranks number forty six of forty seven quarterbacks who've made
at least one start this season. He's missing twenty two
percent of his throws. Twenty two percent of his throws
are off target. He's been brutal. I know you're a

(22:14):
Vikings fan. Scott Shapiro is gonna wake up in the
middle of the night with those numbers right there. Oh,
those are brutal numbers. One other thing to mention, real fast,
too many turnovers for the Vikings. McCarthy has something to
do with that. More interceptions than touchdowns thrown eighteen turnovers.
That's second to dead last in the league. The silver

(22:35):
lining Green Bay has not forced many turnovers, but Vikings
have to find a way to start protecting the football better.

Speaker 1 (22:42):
So it's totally fair to say, hey, let's wait and
see a McCarthy, right, I mean, we give that grace
to anyone. He's only played five six games. And the
thing is the Vikings, like were, I have a team
that's ready to win now, so the expectations are that
we need to get this going. The thing about McCarthy,
let's are into like, buddy, I know that it does.

(23:07):
It takes time, right to learn to play in the NFL,
and it takes time to like figure things out. I
don't really want to hear about it, though. I just
want you to play football. And the alter ego thing,
the neurological pathway stuff this week, I just don't care.
I don't care if you're a Vikings fan, you don't

(23:28):
want to hear this. You just want to hear I'm
gonna play better. I'm gonnamprot, I'm gonna get better.

Speaker 4 (23:32):
What's he talking about, Jeff?

Speaker 1 (23:33):
He talked about like he needs to rewire his his
pathways to like to It's just to me, I'm gonna
find the exact stay quote, but I just want more,
just like, hey, I need to play better, right, I
need to play better? And uh I get I. I

(23:57):
I understand that. Again, it takes time, so it says here.
McCarthy admitted on Wednesday still learning how to play quarterback
the way the Vikings teach it, which is different than
the way he had learned, and that he has to
basically rewire like his neurological pathways to make that work.
And then he also mentioned like he when he when

(24:18):
he walks his dog, he like does mental reps and
it's like, just play quarterback, bro just play quarterback. So
if it's a line coach, I won't mention what team
because he was a good coach. I don't wanted this
to be the reason people think about it. But he
said he used to tell us guys very crude, but like,

(24:38):
don't tell me about the pain. Just show me the baby. Sure, okay, right,
like like right, like just JJ McCarthy, just show me
the baby. Man. I get it. We all I had
sports psychologists for the first six years are playing the NFL.
Seven years of playing the NFL, I had him produced
to college. We all do things we should We should
all do this right. If you find someone to talk to,

(25:00):
it's great for your mental health. I advise anyone to
go find someone to talk to one hundred percent in
agreement with McCarthy doing these things, but we don't want
to hear about him yet, Like you're not you're not
old enough to talk about that stuff yet, Like why
you're not playing well? Just play better? Just play better?
And that's all I'm like, it's all I'm asking. So

(25:21):
I I just worry that like we're focusing on that.
I don't want to hear that that you did something
different college. It's I I no one cares. Just play better.
So that's why Jajy McCarthy talk.

Speaker 5 (25:34):
Listen at that four and sixth these vikings which I
bet a lot of money on preseason to make the
playoffs now a very big long shot to make the playoffs.
The playoffs's that they're not making the playoffs. Yeah, and
just so in Chicago is going to probably make the playoffs.
I can't wait to bet. That's the number one team

(25:56):
out of all the teams that I can't wait to
bet against in the playoffs is the Bear. Now. You know,
I have a co host that just terrorizes me on
the Broncos every week, and I keep on telling him
they're for gazy. But how can I keep on telling
him that if they keep on winning? I mean, you know,
so like, I maybe can't even go by the Chiefs game.

(26:18):
I told him, let he goes. Wait a minute, you
said the chief You know, like I said, maybe I
can't even go by that game. They're five and five.
I don't know if I can go by that chief.

Speaker 1 (26:27):
The Chiefs are weird crack. The Chiefs are top ten
and offensive defense like they they're scoring on fifty percent
of drives nearly on offense. It makes no sense. Okay,
explain why. I know why. But the chief should be
utter final. The Bears have won five games this season. Oh,
they've been trailing with under two minutes left.

Speaker 5 (26:45):
That's in wow, five games, yere, I'm sure.

Speaker 1 (26:49):
But then they're going to lose today to Pittsburgh.

Speaker 5 (26:51):
Now the long shot, and they desperately need this division
win today to stay in the mix. But for green Bay,
these next three games will show you if they're going
to be the division mix or not. After after this
game with the Vikings, that the Packers play Detroit, then
the Bears home, so we'll know a lot more about
you know, I have to tell you I lost a
lot of respect for green Bay though. Whether he lost

(27:13):
at home to Carolina, I just said, wow, I think
there were fourteen at one of the sportsbooks in town here.
So anyway, going back to the Vikings, McCarthy looked it
looked looked like the rookie years the past couple of games.
It's all I can say. He's been missing a lot
of those what do you call it layup throws. He's
been just missing them that you could see the frustration,

(27:34):
uh in Jefferson too. In the Superstar wide out there.
It's it's been tough for the head coach, darr O'Connell,
who was a really aggressive, you know, pass first play caller.
So he's had to change his styles somewhere. You know,
It's it's just is it a learning car I don't know.

Speaker 1 (27:53):
Well, yeah, part of it is. Is there Their offensive
lines was super beat up. I think they get their
center back today. And running batches aren't great, right you
Aaron Jones and you have Mason's like, they just don't
any running the balls a little tougher for them right now.
So that's why they've sort of gone with more of
the play action pass and and whatnot. When you have Addison,
you have Jefferson, you have these guys like I think

(28:13):
you would lean towards using them if your offensive lines
a little beat up with their offense line coming back healthy,
which I think is starting to happen today with Kelly
bean Back. I think I saw he's activated. We'll see obviously,
if he plays today, that's a huge that's a huge
boost for them, So we'll see, you know, if that
ends up, you know, playing paying dividends today. It's a
Packer You mentioned Crack the Packers.

Speaker 4 (28:32):
Man, Yeah, I don't know what's up with them many.

Speaker 5 (28:37):
Today and the Crack challenge.

Speaker 4 (28:39):
I might if I am. I'm on Minnesota. I'm taking
the points. It's the divisional game. Yeah, Packers like I
like their defense a lot, but their offense has been inconsistent.
You can't trust them. They're they're bad covering the spread,
you know, against teams with the losing record.

Speaker 5 (28:55):
Pre flop before the Super Bowl, you know, this is
a big I mean to bet the Super Bowl here.
I know one of the casinos. I know they took
a ten thousand dollars bet on green Bay to win
the Super Bowl. So this was before the season started.
This was a big fan favorite team green Bay to
go far and even to win the Super Bowl this year.

Speaker 4 (29:12):
Well, Yeah, those first two weeks, Ben, everybody's like packers, packers, packer,
and now it's like that noise is cooled off. That's
write a bit quieted down. Yeah, but it's funny going
back to what Jeff was saying at first. I just
can't picture offensive Lineman ever speaking like JJ McCarthy is speaking.
Can you imagine Jeff in your NFL days where you

(29:32):
lean over to the tackle next to you and you're like, hey, buddy,
how's it going. Everything good? I could say he's a
rookie and he's like, I just have to rewire my
neurological pathways is what I needed. Like, that's just so
foreign to offensive Lineman. It's you're right, like less noise,
less descriptions, just play better, don't need to know about

(29:53):
the process and what you're doing, and just play better.
Think that's what you have to do.

Speaker 1 (29:57):
I'm I'm like, I I'm pro like doing things for
your mentals.

Speaker 4 (30:03):
I just you don't want to hear about it.

Speaker 1 (30:05):
I don't want to hear about when you're in your
sixth game. You're starting your sixth game.

Speaker 4 (30:08):
I got you, man. By the way, Aaron Jones, you
mentioned a Viking's running back reunion facing his former Packers team.
So see if he has a good game, they got
to get the running game going to take as much
pressure off of JJ McCarthy as possible. So there you go.
There's that. We close the book on Vikings Packers. There
we'll look forward to a fugayzy team, as Jeff described

(30:31):
them accurately, right around the corner. First though, Isaac Lowan
krown nothing fo gayzy about this guy's right. Got an
award winning up for you right here.

Speaker 8 (30:40):
Actually, if you can hold on just a second, I'm
just riding down that phrase from that offensive line coach
for future reference. Don't tell me about the pain, just
show me the baby got it? Well, yeah, I think
I think I'll use that maybe somewhere down the road.
Hang on, I'd definitely say to your ear, I just

(31:01):
got it. Next one, I just got a text message
from my wife.

Speaker 4 (31:03):
Yeah, there you go.

Speaker 8 (31:05):
You know, I'm not going to read the whole thing
because I'm on the air.

Speaker 4 (31:07):
But it starts just as you're kicked out.

Speaker 8 (31:08):
Yeah, it starts if you ever, And then there's a
skull and crossbones. Always always great to have a loved
one listening to you on the radio, so we appreciate that.
We also appreciate some fresh NFL news as we await
the inactives for the early games, which will be released

(31:31):
about an hour from now. NFL media reports Pittsburgh Steelers
quarterback Aaron Rodgers a true game time decision for today's
game at Chicago due to a broken left wrist, while
Buccketeers receiver Chris Godwin has expected a return to night
against the Rams. He's missed the last five with a
hairline fracture in his leg. College football Saturday Night, pitt
what at sixteenth throwing Georgia Tech forty two to twenty eight.

(31:53):
Wisconsin knocked off number twenty one Illinois twenty seven to
ten at ever twenty Tennessee victorious in Florida thirty one
to eleven Volunteers first win of the Swamp in twenty
two years in the NBA. On Saturday Night, the Memphis
Grizzlies what of Dallas one two to ninety six. But
after the contest, Memphis is John Morant got into it

(32:15):
with Dallas maverick Clay Thompson, And here was Clay Thompson's response.
Two reporters after the game, get your popcorn ready.

Speaker 9 (32:25):
He's a funny guy.

Speaker 3 (32:26):
He has a lot to say all the time, especially
for a guy who rarely takes accountability.

Speaker 9 (32:30):
But uh, you know what, that's for another day.

Speaker 10 (32:32):
What did job saying that on this occasion?

Speaker 3 (32:35):
Nothing of intelligent depth, just running his mouth. He's been
running his mouth for a long time. It's funny to
run your mouth when you're on the bench. It's kind
of the story of his career so far. Just leaving
us one more. You know, we all want to see
him out there and do his best, but he's just
been letting a lot of other stuff getting.

Speaker 9 (32:55):
Away of that, and we need that in the NBA.

Speaker 3 (32:57):
We need our best players to be out there, and
when you're a star comes with a great responsibility.

Speaker 9 (33:02):
Hate to see that go to waste.

Speaker 8 (33:04):
Klay Thompson in effect telling John Morant, don't tell me
about the pain, just show me the baby back to
you guys.

Speaker 4 (33:11):
Wow, what a quote right there.

Speaker 5 (33:12):
Love that fantastic.

Speaker 1 (33:14):
He's exactly right.

Speaker 5 (33:15):
He is right.

Speaker 4 (33:15):

(33:39):
and the Fugeese Bears as you've branded them there, Jeff,
Bears favored by two and a half. Yeah, but like
you mentioned, five wins, five come from behind wins in
the final two minutes this season alone. It's insanity you're living.
You're winning games by the skin of your teeth. The
well's got to run dry soon. It just has to.

Speaker 1 (33:58):
Dan Groziano tweeted out, he's a He's at the game
at the field Aaron Rodgers and rive at Soldier Field
about twenty minutes ago, walked, run up around the field,
flipped off a couple of the cameras that were filming him,
went back inside.

Speaker 4 (34:10):
He's playing like his right hand to flip the Bird's
unclear if he can do with his left.

Speaker 1 (34:14):
Sous Cotat's game is still up in the air. He
has one more opportunity to stick it to the Bears.
I think he's gonna play today. I like the Steelers
a lot today. I think they're just better than Chicago
Chango's twenty fifth and dv Away like they're not good,
they're just in it. Look, Pittsburgh has certainly has their
issues that can't push the ball down the field. Their
defense actually has played better. As much as we've sort

(34:35):
of mocked them this season, they actually have turned a
corner a little bit here. Brian and the Bartender is
on on the Bears, so that also helps as well.
But I just I think this is sort of the
Bears got to come back to earth at some point,
and I think this is a good spot to do it.
Mike Tomlin as a underdog is a great betting opportunity.

(34:56):
It's actually owed four this year in this situation, which
is rare. He's sixty percent or plus winner in these
spots in the past. But I just think it's a
great opportunity again to just fade the Bears in this spot.

Speaker 5 (35:10):
Crack. Yeah, this was one of those lines that has
actually stayed up for a couple of days. Sunday Monday
into Tuesday, there was a solid three Bears were minus
three it. Like I said it, it stayed there now
down to two and a half. But yeah, I'm still
seeing plus three minus a quarter I've just seen just now.
So all right, so Aaron Rodgers dominated the news out

(35:34):
of Pittsburgh all week. Of course, what else is new
for Aaron Rodgers dominating news, This left wrist injury, all
the reports that said. Rogers has said like, Rodgers wants
to play, but the Steelers are still being caustrous and
he may not play today. So now we have to
go back to Rudolph and the Resido's Reindeers. Here at
the amazing Rudolph at this time of the year, probably

(35:56):
one of the most reliable backups, though in the NFL,
he is an Aaron Rodgers though, especially Rogers versus Bears,
he's dominated. He's actually owned Chicago career. But you know
he's twenty four and five against them. Now, granted that
was a younger Rogers. We know he's got some candles
on the cake now, so I do get it. But

(36:17):
this is an important this important game was actually flexed
to the afternoon spot. Both teams right in the thick
of the playoff race, both leading the division, so it
was flexed and Williams seems like on the Bear, seems
to turn the corner with his decision making skills and confidence.
Huge game for him today, can get them to eight
and four. God, I can't believe the Bears could be

(36:37):
the eight and four anyway, So we'll see. Yeah, waiting three,
I'm sorry, Okay, Yeah, Surprisingly the Bears defense and secondary
has really led them this year. Boy, I can't stand
this Bears tea. I hate be so for this team.
I Coun'm telling you I don't bet a lot on

(36:58):
the NFL side. You guys know this, There will be
a very large bet from me on a money line
whoever is playing against the Bears come playoff time.

Speaker 1 (37:08):
Yeah, I agreed.

Speaker 4 (37:10):
Well, the Bears they show you just how much the
turnover battle means. You know, like when we're previewing a
particular game, we almost just roll our eyes when it's like, well,
if they can win the turnover battle, that's gonna be
a big deal in today's game. It's like, yeah, we know,
we get it, right. But when you look at the
course of a season the Bears, that's the only way
they're really surviving these games is their second best in giveaways.

(37:36):
They don't give the ball away much, and they're the
best in takeaways. They have twenty two takeaways on the season,
they force the most turnovers, So that's the path for
the Steelers. Can you protect the football today? If you
protect the ball, I love their chances to win this game.

Speaker 5 (37:50):
All right.

Speaker 4 (37:51):
We've got Bill Krachenberger, professional sports handicapper. Jeff Schwartz, eight
year NFL veteran. I'm Brian No. Every time they make

or converted to MGM rewards points that could be used

And be sure to follow BETMGM across all socials at

(38:13):
bet MGM. All right, coming up next the parlay platter.
Weich have one selection for you. We pull it together
for a greater payout.

Speaker 5 (38:20):
Crack.

Speaker 4 (38:21):
I've got an under that you might not be on
board with. I'm not sure we'll find out. Next it
is Fox Sports Radios Countdown to Kickoff presented by bet MGM.
It is Fox Sports Radios Countdown to Kickoff presented by
bet MGM. Quick note from Adam Schefter No Aaron Rodgers today,
just as we were saying, we were predicting Rogers not
gonna suit up. You risk injury that could be out there.

(38:44):
So the spread is moved at betmgm minus three for
the Bears minus two and are all over the other
everywhere else litter two and a half you get minus
three for the Bears. At betmgm three you get that
plus three if you're on the Steelers. Alright, let's get
into the platter.

Speaker 2 (39:03):
Check this out our late letter.

Speaker 4 (39:06):
All right, we which have one selection for you. We
pull it together for a greater payout, assuming we're correct. Right,
I got to hit everything. Crack, we start with you.
What do you like?

Speaker 5 (39:15):
Yeah, let's go Bengals. Let's go a Phanto under receiving
yards Slucky the other tight end back in the lineup.
So I like the under there. I'm gonna get you
the number bet mgm in one second.

Speaker 1 (39:29):
All right, all right, Crack, what do you think about
Kelsey under today?

Speaker 5 (39:35):
Boy? How much twenty have we lost on that? Jesus?
I mean with killing props though we're absolutely destroying at
a sixty eight rate, but the boy Kelsey has definitely
heard us there.

Speaker 1 (39:48):
I will look. I don't even know why I'm doing this,
but I'll do it anyways. The Chiefs have to win
this game. I just they just have to. I don't know,
I don't know. Maybe I'm dumb. It's certainly possible. I'm
gonna go Chiefs money line. We're gonna do it simple
with the parlay. You guys are probably gonna have one
ten sides whether the Chiefs money line right now. I
gotta look at it. Look, you just have to win,

(40:11):
and they just gonna go with the whimper. It's just
gonna be what their season is. Just end the Colt's
gonna end their season tonight, because if they don't win
this game, they go down to like a thirty percent
cast like the postseason. They win a they got a
much better chance. It's minus one ninety. I'm gonna do it.
I'm putting it in there.

Speaker 4 (40:25):
Brian, Okay, all right, Chiefs money line, locked.

Speaker 5 (40:29):
And loaded, running six and a half.

Speaker 4 (40:32):
Brian twenty six and a half for Noah Noah fans.
All right, I'll add that in there real quick. I'm
going to I don't know if you're gonna be on
board with this crack. I'm interested to find out here,
because every now and then some of your famous words
are just by accident, A game with a low total
like this can go over right, Like just by accident.

(40:54):
That could happen with the Browns and Raids today. But
I'm taking under thirty six. I just I'm looking at
this matchup and I'm like, all right, it's Shador Sanders
first start, and you also have Gino Smith who takes
a day and a half making any decision against Miles
Garrett and a really good Browns defense who's scoring in

(41:16):
this game. I just don't see many points in this
game at all. I'll take under thirty six.

Speaker 5 (41:20):
I'm rooting for you.

Speaker 4 (41:22):
It's an incredibly low total. I can see us getting there, man,
So I'll take it. I'll take it here.

Speaker 1 (41:28):
I like the way it's throw on it, by the way,
so I'm on board here.

Speaker 4 (41:32):
I'll get you the odds. On the other side, I
can't do it on the fly. It's too much to ask.
Coming up next, it's now we're never for a team
with high expectations. Oh what is going on? Happy Sunday too,
you Happy Week twelve? We are two hours away from kickoff.
Here we will get to a team with high expectations.
It is now or never for this squad. We'll get

(41:55):
to that in a couple of seconds. Throughout the entire
football season, bet MGM will offer all different time of
no sweat tokens and odds boost tokens. Be on the
lookout for no sweat, same game parlay tokens, parlay boost tokens,
and so much more. We've got the Colts, We've got
the Chiefs. It doesn't even sound right, the eight and
two Colts take on the five and five Chiefs. But

(42:18):
that's the world we're living in so far this season.
Casey a three and a half point home favorite. It's
crazy too. This is weird. It's like a different universe
we're living in here this football season. I think the
handicap starts with, hey, KC, don't beat yourself. You never
used to say that about the Chiefs, but man, you

(42:38):
go back to last week against the Broncos and second
half it's a tie game, it's six to six, and
Mahomes throws a stupid interception in the red zone. It's like, dude,
what do you are you doing?

Speaker 9 (42:51):
Man?

Speaker 4 (42:51):
You got to protect a field goal. You can't just
give that away. It was a field goal game, and
so Mahomes is pressed at times. It goes back to
the Super Bowl loss. Again, it's the Eagles right where
got off to a bad start and then the next thing,
you know, pick six, another interception in the first half,
and then the route was on. But I think Mahomes
has shown a tendency at times to press a bit

(43:13):
and this team, man, it's like missed extra point by Butker.
It's just weird stuff, right, go back to the Jacksonville game.
They take the lead, looks like they're gonna win the game,
Butker kicks it out of bounds. You give them the
ball at the forty. All that stuff adds up and
that has put the Chiefs certainly in a hole this year.
But that's the first part of it. Very quietly, the

(43:34):
Colts have the number five rush defense in the league.
How about that? Very interesting, and their offense has done
really well. So I just don't think the Chiefs can survive.
It's clear this year you can't survive assisting your team's
your opponents with wins, right, you can't open the door
for them, and they've done that far too often this year.

Speaker 1 (43:56):
Well, good news for the run game. The activated Edwards
hilaireo so that's a good good news for the Chiefs.
Of shot in their run game is the least explosive
running attack in NFL history. I mean, it's gotta be
up there if it's not number one. Look the saying
the run game aside. For years, the Chiefs have been

(44:19):
good because they did the right thing at the end
of games. Not for years they won those big moments.
This year, the exact opposite is happening. Go back to
last week, Brian, it's nineteen nineteen. Okay, the chief had
the ball of four minutes left, need a field goal
to win the game. In the last seven years, they
would have gone down the field and kicked that field
goal and won the game. Instead. First down, a complete pass,

(44:44):
second down. They come out in thirteen personnel one tight end,
mean that's one running back, one wide receiver, three tight ends.
They put Race sheet Rice, their one ide receiver, in
the backfield as a running back, and then put the
running back Cream Hunt who's slower than three of us,
a wide receiver, and run to play for like Robert

(45:04):
Tong And I think, like I don't know how to
explain what they're doing. It make it makes yeah, yeah, yeah,
crack yeah, that's what they do. Then they eventually have
to plant because they get sacked on third down. Then
Denver has a third and fourteen that he gets converted.

Speaker 4 (45:20):
Third and fifteen. They gave up.

Speaker 1 (45:22):
Yeah, remember the Chargers game allowed a third and fifteen
to Herbert to win the game. It's those things because again, analytically,
team is five and DVOA like good enough to win.
They're just not winning these big moments. They're zero to
five and one score games now and you know, very easily,
I you know, could be better than that. And then

(45:43):
all of a sudden, you know they're eight and two.
If they put it together and do the right things,
this is a game they can win and should win.
They're at home, they need to win. And you know
some of the play calling stuff like Indy Reid is
so when they the ball under center, they're highly efficient.
They don't do it enough. They only do it enough

(46:05):
to try to run plash of pass. But because they
don't actually try to run the football, no one respects
the play acshu pass. So you have to do these things,
like you have to stop being stubborn and change the
way you do things. They can't beat man coverage, which
they should, right, she writes, and worthy should be man coverage.
So it's just right now kind of a mess. And
if they figure it out, it's a couple of ten
percent better play ten percent better.

Speaker 5 (46:28):
They're gonna like them in this game today, Jeff, do
you like them in this game to win the game? Well,
just based on that then, yeah, I mean.

Speaker 1 (46:37):
Here's the deal. It's either now or never. They don't
do it today, that's it. Season's probably done. So can
they get it done? The Colts have not played as
well recently. They're off a buy. Can they get it done?
There's a matchup concerns I have with Tyler Warren against
the Chiefs defenders. The Chiefs run defense is fine. I
think they're gonna be fining this game. Kim Mahomes not

(47:00):
make the bad turnover which he did last week as well,
that bad red zone turnover terrible. He's pressing a little
bit so grat they should win the game. They'd be
their favorite three and a half for a reason.

Speaker 5 (47:11):
Yeah, the one ninety line.

Speaker 1 (47:13):
So I hope they know. Here's the thing abou Kansas
City too. As much as they don't think they're gonna
make the playoffs, they gotta win five next seven games.
They can, but he won all seven. They can. But
if they get in, though, it means they're playing good
football and they're gonna be the seventh seed and they're
gonna go to Denver, New England or Indianapolis and in
the wildcard around they're gonna win that game.

Speaker 4 (47:35):
Then imagine that, right, Or it's like, hey, we're the
one seed, let's go who's up first? Kse Oh, that's
that's great fantas after.

Speaker 1 (47:43):
You know, there be Kansas City by the way after
winning wildcard weekend, right because you know, like that's the
way it works. I have to play the two seed
wildcard weekend, then the one seed to play the seventh seed.
So can they get in? I like their chances. Actually,
Buffalo is probably in worst shape. They beat Kansas City,
so they actually have a tie breaker. Kans City is
a much easier path to be better than Buffalo. Right now,

(48:03):
who I think is in a world to hurt soul curates.
You see how this plays out.

Speaker 5 (48:08):
Yeah, at this point in the season, everyone probably thought
these records would be flipped, right with hate and two
Chiefs and maybe five and five Colts. But you know,
right now, the Chiefs are on the outside looking in
for the playoff pitcher. So this win today is vital
and could go a long way.

Speaker 4 (48:25):
By the way, real fast, yeah, crack is. At the
beginning of the year, if the Colts were five and five,
we'd be like, not bad right here, they are eight
and two. It's crazy.

Speaker 5 (48:36):
Yeah, So it looks like they will have one of
my homes tops weapons now worthy back. He practiced full
on Friday. It looks it looks like though starting running
back Pacheco will still be out of this one. On
the other side, Taylor, Wow, MVP for the Colts team
obviously outstanding. I really expect Casey to stack the box

(48:58):
against him today and make Daniel Jones beat it, beat
them in the air. I really do think they have
to prepare for Taylor. So like this is the we
say must win too much in sports in general, but
this is the must win of must wins. Jeff said
it right, absolutely, I agree.

Speaker 4 (49:16):
Yeah it is. And Jeff you mentioned him. Tyler Warren
has had a great season as a rookie tight end
for the Colts. He's made his impact in numerous games
this season, and that's the other part of it. It
obviously connects to Daniel Jones starting to turn the football
over a lot more recently for interceptions the last two games.

(49:36):
So obviously it has to put a lid on that
because that's certainly not what the Colts want. They've done
a great job getting chunks of yards, like their number
three in passing yards per game, the number three in
rushing yards per game. They're number one in scoring offense.
They're averaging thirty two point one points per game. So
the points are there, the yards are there. Just protect

(49:58):
the football. Daniel Jones, the fumbles, the interceptions. He just
can't let that become a growing trend because they've got
a lot working for them right now and the secondary
is starting to get healthier. Sharvarius Ward, the former chief right,
he's uh he's been on the sideline for a while
now with a concussion, but trying to get him back
from injured reserve. Obviously made the trade for Sauce Gardner,

(50:21):
and uh so this is a Colts team where I
think we've gone from yeah, what just dismissing them to like, no,
they've they've got some legit pieces in place to win
the division, make the playoffs, and then be a hurdle, right,
I don't know how far we can go with it,
like be an obstacle for some other teams where if

(50:43):
they can you know, if Daniel Jones can just not
revert back to bad Daniel Jones, you know, like that's.

Speaker 1 (50:48):
The problem, right, is like if do you trust him
to not to not do that?

Speaker 5 (50:53):
Yeah?

Speaker 1 (50:54):
And that I think is the biggest, the biggest concern
everyone has about the Colts. It's like, can you you
we saw with Donell a little bit last week, like
the pumpkin mats starts showing up and then all of
a sudden it goes sideways.

Speaker 4 (51:07):
Yeah, how about Donald with those four interceptions and they
still almost won the game at the Rams.

Speaker 1 (51:13):
That's crazy, just you know, just to go to another
like game I had right, like I had the Rams.
They forced four interceptions, didn't cover three points.

Speaker 4 (51:25):
I don't know what can you do?

Speaker 5 (51:26):
You know what I mean?

Speaker 4 (51:27):
Like you just throw your arms to the side, like,
I mean, I don't know what to say about that.

Speaker 5 (51:32):
You know that was the.

Speaker 4 (51:33):
Team right side. It was a wrong right read wrong result, Jeff.
You know, frustrating You're at the poker table and your
opponent hit a two outer right there, and you're like,
really that way all year?

Speaker 1 (51:43):
What do we think the Cowboys players were playing in
the casino when they were I'm shocked that they that they.

Speaker 4 (51:49):
I hope they were playing the electronic Ponies, it was my.

Speaker 1 (51:52):
Thought, don't I don't think so.

Speaker 5 (51:54):
But our bubble.

Speaker 4 (51:55):
Crabs cracked, right, get the bubble Craps going there?

Speaker 5 (51:58):
You know?

Speaker 4 (51:59):
Yeah, I don't know. And that's a wild story though,
just hanging out at I think it was Red Rock Casino,
was the report? Just hanging out in Vegas?

Speaker 5 (52:06):
Huh? Before the Raiders game bench for the first year,
big fear of the NFL during when they were announcing
that the Raiders were coming to Vegas was that all
the teams would be out partying late and gambling every night.
Hasn't happened though, really really, we haven't heard anything about
any teams doing that. So that's that's that's good.

Speaker 4 (52:26):
By the way, that was just a curfew thing, right,
like they weren't. You can do that though, right? Could
you could you be an NFL player and go play
bubble Craps in Vegas?

Speaker 5 (52:36):
Sure you can?

Speaker 4 (52:37):
I would imagine you can, right.

Speaker 1 (52:39):
You can, I think you can. You can't be in
a sportsbook though.

Speaker 5 (52:43):
Okay, okay, that's right, so those sportsbook but you can gamble. Yeah,
Jeff was always firing away every week when he was
on the road.

Speaker 1 (52:50):
Yeah, all those all those road games, all the casinos.

Speaker 5 (52:53):
He was playing craps all the time.

Speaker 1 (52:54):
I think I think there were there were not many
casinos where we ever still in New Orleans.

Speaker 6 (52:58):
One.

Speaker 5 (52:59):
What a difference, right, what a different.

Speaker 1 (53:00):
Than didn't play in Vegas? Huge places even went like
had casinos to go to. Of course I'm not betting
on sports, right, No, I'm me casine I no, I
know even then, but like I there's not even casinos
to go to.

Speaker 5 (53:14):
Well now it's different though, this casinos everywhere.

Speaker 1 (53:18):
It's just yeah, it's not enough time in the casinos
in my life. I think, I'm I'll tell you, I'd
might rather just lose money wager on sports and lose
on the craps table. At least with the sports, have
fun watching the game instead of craps. Just like someone
Wissell seven. You're like, well, I'll send in my that's
end of my time at the table.

Speaker 5 (53:36):
How fun was that?

Speaker 1 (53:37):
Yeah?

Speaker 5 (53:37):
On a three hour event, you can have some fun. Uh,
you know, it's funny, my my, my dentists yesterday sent me,
Uh he needed someone plus the prop dentist, right, yeah,
who's forty? Who was forty Charlotte Charlotte was there was
a college of college cover.

Speaker 1 (53:54):
Yeah, the Covery Georgia.

Speaker 5 (53:56):
He's so, I'm gonna send you guys a taxa copy please,
and you just keep it between us, you keep between
us and five hundred million people on there here. But
so he sent me. He said, yeah, I'm dead, Billy,
I'm dead. This is at halftime. I said, wait a minute,
all right, they're down by twenty three. Yeah, yeah, the
halftime line eighteen doc, I said, you're you're on the number.
I said, Plus they're gonna slow it down. Be confident,

(54:19):
because that was the That was the tenth I think
that that was the That was the tenth leg that
he actually hit.

Speaker 4 (54:25):
Hell I hit it.

Speaker 5 (54:26):
Huh he actually hit parlay here it is here, it
is here, it.

Speaker 1 (54:30):
Is it's ten legs side parlay like not even like
money lines.

Speaker 5 (54:35):
Oh the Charlotte forty nine ers, that's them, all right,
So he been nine hundred to win ten twenty six.

Speaker 4 (54:42):
Okay, that's a good hit.

Speaker 5 (54:44):
I get tell me talking about it.

Speaker 1 (54:46):
Ten legs?

Speaker 5 (54:48):
How can you only get ten? Always laying hold on
there's a couple okay see money line laying forty to one.
Miami Heat laying forty to one, uh Dallas Mavericks plus
nineteen and a half. Alternate line laying five point fifty
big Minnesota Wild plus three what's what's that mean? Plus
three plus three goals? Yess yeah wow, alternate puck handicap

(55:12):
Lineland line.

Speaker 4 (55:16):
I love this guy.

Speaker 5 (55:17):
I didn't know you can do that.

Speaker 1 (55:19):
I thought I thought I had a problem.

Speaker 5 (55:21):
I didn't know you could do that.

Speaker 1 (55:22):
So he hit this though, I bet on Tuesday night
I hit a maction backup running back two tight end
prop on bet MGM on Tuesday night. I thought I
had a problem doing that. But my man here seems
to have an issue. I will tell you though. Okay See,
was down sixteen points and then the first core against
the Jazz the other night, Brian.

Speaker 4 (55:43):
They won by almost thirty.

Speaker 1 (55:45):
Yeah, I got minus seven and a half for okay see.

Speaker 5 (55:48):
I was like, I'm looking at this parlor. Man.

Speaker 1 (55:51):
We watched okay See all this year. I shot I
got that number. I'm gonna okay see? Does that? I
start slow sometimes they win by thirty, and I couldn't
believe that was available to me.

Speaker 4 (56:00):
Wow, good bet, very good bet. I should hang out
with the parlay doctor over there. You know swap betting.

Speaker 1 (56:08):
I know, wait, you said you bet ten grand?

Speaker 5 (56:10):
He bet not nine hundred dollars. Yeah, nine hundred dollars
to win ten grand one, two, three, four, five, six,
seventy nine ten ten teams hip.

Speaker 1 (56:17):
So Charlotte was like the one and he took like
the actual line.

Speaker 5 (56:20):
Another one charge was the last one. And he asked
me before the game, because a lot of these were
earlier in the in the day or in the week,
He said, what should I do here on the Charlotte?

Speaker 11 (56:29):
Uh?

Speaker 5 (56:29):
Plus forty three and a half? I said, listen, if
the ten thousand means a lot to it to you,
then you got to hedge heads on it. But if
it doesn't, I wouldn't hedge it here. I know what
you're You're nailing me on teeth things, So I mean, uh,
you know, when I have to go in for a
root canal or something, don't give it a break. Nine
hundred bucks are a big deal. And he didn't hedge

(56:50):
a dollar on it.

Speaker 1 (56:51):
So okay, there, good Georgia has not covered a number
like over forty years like something like that.

Speaker 5 (56:57):
They just don't.

Speaker 1 (56:58):
They just don't do that because they just you.

Speaker 4 (56:59):
Know, they up and Kirby's like run the ball, especially
before they play Tech.

Speaker 1 (57:03):
How many points are gonna score in Georgia Tech this weekend?

Speaker 4 (57:05):
Gosh, eight hundred brutal man Georgia Tech couldn't stop us.

Speaker 5 (57:10):
They're they're bad.

Speaker 1 (57:12):
Yeah, a lot yesterday was was was not good for
for the old Georgia Tech. So yeah, good for your day.
What's he got for today? What's going on top for?
I can't wait for this.

Speaker 5 (57:21):
Guess like forget it?

Speaker 1 (57:22):
Yeah, he said, tease the ravens down to pick them.
Back in the day, there was an offshore that allowed
you to tease, uh, sixteen point teasers. Eighteen point teasers.

Speaker 5 (57:37):
Wow, listen, this is how much I know about parlays.
I did not know you can play those alternative lines. Yeah,
I guess why not? Of course you're laying seven to one.
I didn't know you. Yeah, Jeff said, yeah, too fast, Brian,
he said, yeah, too fast you can.

Speaker 1 (57:55):
I didn't even do it parlay yesterday. Crack. You'd be
proud of me. Oh good, Yeah, yeah, he'd be proud
I did. I didn't do any that means I'm I
have to do one today, but in the worst sport
ever available to do a parlay.

Speaker 5 (58:06):
And Okay, guy I really respect just now said cracky,
you gotta get Pittsburgh plus three. Wow, Why I like Pittsburgh.

Speaker 1 (58:15):
I like Pittsburgh today. I know the Rudolph thing matters
at all, which is not good for Rogers, but I
think it's the same team, and I think that the
Bears are just due to have a day a day,
not a great day.

Speaker 4 (58:26):
Yeah, no, They're certainly on deck for that happening. It
could be today.

Speaker 1 (58:30):
You know.

Speaker 4 (58:31):
All right, We've got Bill Krakenberger, professional sports handicapper. He
has a parlay dentist that we've heard about just now.

Speaker 1 (58:38):
Also a viral interview this week.

Speaker 5 (58:39):
Crack like what what I did? Oh what balin Boston?

Speaker 1 (58:43):
Yeah?

Speaker 5 (58:44):
Oh yeah, no, I'll tell you what that interview I did.
He's a very honest guy, winning guy. Worked for the show.
He emits this so I could talk about it now.
He worked for Billy Walters for eleven years. One of
the sharpest genius minds, but totally I'm filtered. He just
lets the f bombs go and he just you know,

(59:05):
and he talks his mind. He speaks his mind. Yeah, no,
thank you. That was a good interview.

Speaker 4 (59:09):
Yeah, very nice. We've got Jeff Schwartz, eight year NFL veteran,
would rather bet sports than craps.

Speaker 1 (59:14):
You know.

Speaker 4 (59:14):

Speaker 5 (01:00:22):

(01:00:49):
should be. All right, let's dive into this put up.

Speaker 5 (01:00:54):
Follow the money, real good money. That's right.

Speaker 4 (01:00:56):
Welcome our good friend, Christian Zippollini, Senior rating manager at
bet MGM. Good morning to you, Christian. All right, Week twelve,
here we go. You know what I want to start
here with this Browns Raiders game, you know, top of
mind for everybody listening. I'm sure, but have you seen
with Shador Sanders getting his first NFL start? Are you

(01:01:19):
seeing more money like a greater handle than a game
like this two and eight versus two and eight. Can
you see a noticeable difference at all?

Speaker 5 (01:01:27):
Christian?

Speaker 12 (01:01:29):
Yeah, this is an interesting one for me because we
do have a good amount of handle and a lot
of it actually is on the Browns, about somewhere around
seventy five percent of our money in coming in and
on the Browns. And I've been trying all week to
figure out is this just because of their defense and
how good mouth Garrett has been or is this a
bunch of shador fans betting them that way? But so

(01:01:52):
I like to think a little bit of it is
just because of the fact that we've taken so little
money on the Raiders. Now again, some of that can
be coming off of that Monday night where they didn't
look very good. But yeah, it's what we're looking at
right now.

Speaker 1 (01:02:05):
Aaron Rodgers announced out how much money do you think
is coming in on the Bears? The number moved a
little bit, but I mean he was questionable all week.

Speaker 12 (01:02:17):
Yeah, so this wasn't two and a half. We're sitting
at three, but it's a bit of a juice three.
So it's a little bit of line movement, kind of known,
kind of nobody really expected Rogers to play forty one
years old on a week off of Broken Wrists. So
the line kind of is showing that we didn't really
take a ton of Steelers actions so far, about thirty percent,

(01:02:39):
and I've probably expected in this lead up to kick
off to just continue with Bears money.

Speaker 5 (01:02:45):
Christian. First, I want to give you a shout out
and a thank you. I was in New York and
New Jersey and I had a text Christian to ask
him about the app. All I had to do was
restart the app. I didn't realize that it was the
Vegas one. No, but I want to tell you something.
I can't believe how easy it is to bet it's
a shameless plug. Sorry, over the app, it just detects

(01:03:07):
your in New York. And then when I went over
the bridge and the check that I was in Jersey.

Speaker 1 (01:03:10):
Switched state, crack switched state.

Speaker 5 (01:03:12):
So Jeff, take it easy, my plug here, BEMGM no,
but it was pretty easy. And uh yeah, so it
was really And then when I got back to Vegas,
it said you want to go back to Nevada. I'm here,
so all right, So anyway, let me ask you about this.
The big line games because a couple of weeks ago.

(01:03:33):
You don't think you were with us that week when
Green Bay lost out right, I'm sure it was a
big game for you guys. People just throwing the money line,
and I'll use the same thing today with a couple
of these games. Seattle, is that your big game? Detrom.
I'm sure Detroit is your biggest because of the Michigan
MGM bet MGM. But is Seattle and and Detroit your

(01:03:53):
big games you're rooting against today?

Speaker 12 (01:03:56):
Yeah, So the three doublegenates spreads are going to be
really mordant for the book this week. As you mentioned
that Lions Giant game is definitely going to be one
of our biggest outcomes. It's our most lopsided event of
the day. Lions off a loss is also a very
public bet outcome, and then playing the Giants this week
with no dart is getting it to the point where

(01:04:18):
we've had eighty five ninety percent of the money all
coming into the Lions, and I expect that to continue.
The other two double digit games Seahawks Titans. Titans this
year have just been a team that we can't write
much money on, so it's been majority Seahawks Bets and
then Jets Ravens. Similar thing just to Jets, we don't
write a ton.

Speaker 1 (01:04:35):
Of action on.

Speaker 12 (01:04:37):
So if one of those three underdogs could win, that
probably will end up being a very good day for
the book because you'd imagine there's going to be a
lot of people that are taking whether it's a teaser
or just a moneyline parlay, those three teams are going
to be included very often in those, So getting one
of those beat will definitely knock off any any sort

(01:04:58):
of semblance of a money line.

Speaker 4 (01:05:00):
How about just like the next category down, Christian, if
you look, there are four games that are right about
a touchdown, right, the Vikings, Packers right about a touchdown,
Pats Bengals. You also have the primetime games Tampa Rams,
Carolina Niners. Any of those four games that you have
a big rooting interest in.

Speaker 12 (01:05:22):
Yeah, so similar story with those. The teams that are
favored about a touchdown are the teams that we're tending
to write more action on. We ended up getting a
little Bengals money when it looked like Burrow might play,
but that's all back to Patriots money and again we'll
likely continue there. So I'd imagine in continuing this story,

(01:05:42):
there's probably gonna be a lot of moneyline parlays, including
all those teams of seven plus or more. So again,
it'll be big for the book if we can get
one of those beat The other two are primetime games,
so obviously a lot more money comes in on those,
so those might be If I could pick one, I
might pick Bucks Rams tonight. If anything.

Speaker 1 (01:06:04):
Let's talk Chiefs Colts here. What do you see so far?
Obviously I think a lot of people think the Chiefs
have to win this game, which I think they do.
I'm not sure they're going to cover, but I imagine you
want the.

Speaker 12 (01:06:15):
Colts here, You're probably going to end up wanting the culture.
This is an interesting one. As you mentioned, this is
essentially a must win for the Chiefs, but getting a
pretty close to fifty to fifty action and a lot
of what I'm seeing is is people like the Chiefs
are taking them on the spread of people like the
Colts that taking him on the money line. So opens
up a little bit of a middling area.

Speaker 5 (01:06:36):
For the book.

Speaker 12 (01:06:37):
But I was kind of a little bit surprised. The
Chiefs are always a darling who takes a ton of bets,
so so Bar was a little bit surprised to see
that it's a lot closer to fifty to fifty.

Speaker 5 (01:06:46):
I saved the best for last year. We have a
fan of ours on the show, fan of yours, Christian Actually,
well for me, yeah, he says. When Christian says eighty
percent or more, he's six and one for the year. Oh, covering,
how do they file? Imagine someone follows this So you
just said it on Detroit? Anyone else six eighty percent

(01:07:08):
or more that you that we've got God? God protects
the bookmaker brand here? Anything else?

Speaker 1 (01:07:15):
Yeah.

Speaker 12 (01:07:15):
The other one that's there is Seahawks Titans. Seahawks is
taking about eighty percent of the money. And the other
two that are close. We're not at eighty percent on
the Jets Ravens that were about like seventy seventy five.
But one that is right up there with it is
that Brown's Raiders game. It's the most surprising one.

Speaker 5 (01:07:33):
But wow, we're right about we're right.

Speaker 12 (01:07:35):
About seventy five percent coming in on the Browns. So
that one's shocking.

Speaker 5 (01:07:39):
What about these primetime games right now, because they're both
like seven to seven and a half, are you expecting
maybe like an up to an eighty percent on the
Rams or San fran.

Speaker 12 (01:07:50):
Yeah, I don't think that these two will get there
just because the teams they're playing, you know, I can
I can see people talking themselves into the Bucks getting
a couple of their important pieces back. Obviously, this Rams
team has.

Speaker 10 (01:08:02):
Looked so good, but.

Speaker 12 (01:08:05):
At least the Bucks are a team that I think
will end up still getting bets and kind of the same.

Speaker 10 (01:08:09):
With the Panthers.

Speaker 12 (01:08:10):
While they haven't, you know, this season, they look a
lot better coming off a pretty big win. Yeah, so
I could see. I could see avenues where at least
we'll take action on those two teams, as opposed to
last week where it was the Raiders, where I knew
we weren't going to write anything. So I don't think
those ones will get to eighty.

Speaker 4 (01:08:28):
All right, great stuff is always Christian, appreciate your time, man,
Thank you, have a good day. We'll catch you soon.

Speaker 12 (01:08:34):
Of course, you guys too, good luck.

Speaker 4 (01:08:36):
Thank you. There he is Christian Cippolini, bet MGM, Senior
Trading Manager. I love that listeners tracking, Christian.

Speaker 5 (01:08:44):
I think that's right there.

Speaker 1 (01:08:45):
Yeah, that's great, that's that's that's uh, that's good for listeners.
I love that. I add that to your to your
to your to your list of things crack every weekend.

Speaker 5 (01:08:54):
Yeah, you're used to be the betting against the voice
the bartender. I don't know they got They got us
a little bit and got some money back off me. Anyway,
our bet against people. But by the way, tender, it's
still it's still a good bet against I'm believing you.

Speaker 4 (01:09:09):
Can still track like Isaac lohencron words like kind of
with like the eighty percent thing with Cipolini anytime he
says the word raccoon. For some reason, the Falcons are undefeated.
I don't know how that works out.

Speaker 1 (01:09:23):
But he never said that, really.

Speaker 4 (01:09:25):
That that's right. He hasn't said raccoon very much this year.

Speaker 8 (01:09:29):
Yeah, yeah, Unfortunately I neglected to utilize that phrase at
what would have been an opportune time. It was February fifth,
twenty seventeen. I forgot to say that. I wonder what
happened that day. Anyway, that's water under the bridge. You know,
what can you do? Let's talk about the president of

(01:09:50):
Pittsburgh Steelers. Quarterback Aaron Rodgers inactive today at Chicago due
to a broken left wrist. Here with Steelers head coach
Mike Tomlin a short time ago on CBS.

Speaker 11 (01:10:00):
Evaluate complete clarity, he's not going to play today. He
for his tail off all week, but that's the prudent
play to make for us as a collective, and so
he won't be playing this week. Will We'll let Mason
start in Obviously, he's absorbed most of the reps this week.

Speaker 8 (01:10:15):
Green Bay Packers running back Josh Jacobs is inactive today
against the Minnesota Vikings due to a knee injury. Seattle
Seahawks running back Kenneth Walker is active for their game
at Tennessee. In the NBA on Saturday night, the Detroit
Pistons what at Milwaukee won twenty nine to one sixteen
for a twelve game winning streak. The Chicago Bulls held

(01:10:35):
off the Washington Wizards one twenty one to one twenty
the Wizards on a fourteen game losing streak, and Memphis
What of Dallas one o two to ninety six. But
the story is what happened after the game when Dallas's
Clay Thompson got into it with Memphis' John Morant and
then Clay Thompson reflected to reporters, and it is priceless he's.

Speaker 5 (01:10:58):
A funny guy.

Speaker 3 (01:10:58):
He has allowed to say all the time, especially for
a guy who rarely takes accountability.

Speaker 10 (01:11:03):
But uh, you know what, that's for another day. What
did job saying it on this occasion?

Speaker 9 (01:11:08):
Nothing of intelligent depth. Just run his mouth.

Speaker 3 (01:11:12):
Isn't running his mouth for a long time. It's funny
to run your mouth when you're on the bench. It's
kind of the story of his career so far. Just
leaving us one more. You know, we all want to
see him out there and do his best, but he's
just been letting a lot of other stuff getting away.

Speaker 9 (01:11:28):
Of that, and we need that in the NBA.

Speaker 3 (01:11:30):
We need our best players will be out there and
when you're a star comes with a great responsibility.

Speaker 9 (01:11:35):
I hate to see that all a waste.

Speaker 8 (01:11:37):
And guys, I'm just checking John Morant's Instagram feed. No
response yet, but I wait gratefully back to you.

Speaker 5 (01:11:46):
Guys. There you go.

we've got Patriots taken on the Bengals. Patriots favored by
seven and a half on the road. Total is ticked
up to fifty one. No Joe Burrow practiced a couple
of times this week, yet not cleared to play. No

(01:12:32):
Jamar Chase, So that's not great for the Bengals. They've
scored points, but their defense is just freaking brutal.

Speaker 5 (01:12:40):
Man.

Speaker 4 (01:12:40):
It's just a disaster over there. I do like connected
to spitgate, right, Jamar Chase. He spat on Jalen Ramsey
last week, and Mike Tomlin, the Steelers head coach, was
asked about that because Jalen Ramsey threw a couple of
punches he got kicked out of the game, and so
the reporter was like, what's your message to Jalen Ramsey exactly.
And this is what Mike Tomlin said.

Speaker 11 (01:13:01):
I have no message of someone sits in your face.
Do what comes natural.

Speaker 4 (01:13:07):
I love that response from tom Yeah, I've been spinning too.

Speaker 1 (01:13:10):
I punched a guy. I didn't have a chance to
punch him in the face, but I would have. A
guy spent legit. A guy spinned my face in college,
and he played in the NFL and we used to
go out it a lot. He was a defensive lineman.
He never admitted he did it. I would like call
out to his face. And then a buddy of mine
was friends with him, and when I told him the story,

(01:13:30):
he was like shocked. His friend would have done that
to me. So he called him on the phone while
I was in the car with him, and he admitted
he actually spit in my face.

Speaker 5 (01:13:37):
So wow, okay, let's give it. Give the name up.

Speaker 1 (01:13:41):
Name's not important, right right that we didn't play in
the Brathklin college we played in college. It might have
been someone who played the team that we beat yesterday,
and uh, and so it.

Speaker 4 (01:13:54):
Was uh Williams.

Speaker 1 (01:13:57):
I'm not that young. So nonetheless, I played twenty years
I mean nearly twenty years ago. But I played. My
first year in college was four, so like I'm old,
I don't feel old, though I feel good. I've had
a couple of great hairs.

Speaker 4 (01:14:12):
Though I get these defensive linemen from now two decades ago.

Speaker 1 (01:14:16):
That's the grossest thing.

Speaker 5 (01:14:18):
I'm not giving him up. So you're you're good. You're
you'll go to jail rather than witness protection. That's perfect.

Speaker 1 (01:14:23):
I thought about this before. I couldn't do jail. I'm
not going to commit a crime.

Speaker 5 (01:14:28):
But I just making it look good.

Speaker 1 (01:14:30):
I just couldn't. I just couldn't do it. I don't
think I could do it.

Speaker 12 (01:14:32):
Crack.

Speaker 1 (01:14:33):
I'm not gonna committed crime. I didn't. You have to
leave the house to commit.

Speaker 4 (01:14:36):
Ellis no really really good football player. Not Ellis Sean Cody.

Speaker 1 (01:14:41):
I don't think we played Sean Cody, and I don't
think he was there when I was there.

Speaker 4 (01:14:45):
I don't think I'm gonna get no.

Speaker 1 (01:14:46):
I'm hearing a break time. It was not sorry I did.
I don't think I'm playing him much either, But at
break time we just heard this. Sorry.

Speaker 4 (01:14:55):
I can't name anybody, uh real fast though, because we
have to make He hasn't yelled at us yet, so
it's not quite time, you know what I mean, like
young at me. Yeah, that was just like a stern
break time. Yeah yeah, it's like he's just telling you.
It's like a heads up there, but you know when
it's like the rock throwing, like break now, you bastards, right,
it hasn't gotten to that level just yet. We will

(01:15:17):
get their very your quick thoughts, real fast Patriots. I'm
surprised there's as much negativity about the Patriots the last
couple of weeks. I see all this stuff where it's
like they're beating all the top teams in draft order,
you know, like the worst teams in the league. It's like, guys,
they beat Buffalo on the road, they beat Tampa on
the road. Those are two quality wins. They've got a

(01:15:39):
real defense, they've got a legit MVP candidate at quarterback.
I don't know why it's like fashionable to talk trash
about the Patriots like they're total food gayzy. I do
not think they're foo gayzy.

Speaker 1 (01:15:51):
They're not, and they're gonna win today. The Bengals playing
no defense, Yeah, zero.

Speaker 4 (01:15:55):
Defense, short, sweet and simple love that you concur crack
you with that. Patriots cover the number what do you think.

Speaker 5 (01:16:04):
I'm gonna have to hold on that? I read a
lean to them an the other way though, Yeah, yeah.

Speaker 4 (01:16:08):
No, that makes sense. All right, We've got Bill Krackenberger,
professional sports handicapper. Jeff Schwartz, eight year NFL veteran, will
not give up the name of the USC defensive lineman.

You know, I'm Brian Note. Let's see coming up next.

Speaker 8 (01:16:40):
Prop it up.

Speaker 4 (01:16:40):

(01:17:25):
player plays all right, crack, we start with you with
something you like.

Speaker 5 (01:17:31):
I am so happy to bet this one. I just
this one of those guys. I just felt like Gino
Smith under one ninety two one and a half passing yards.

Speaker 4 (01:17:41):
Not a Geno guy?

Speaker 5 (01:17:42):
What's up with that? What do to you?

Speaker 12 (01:17:45):
He?

Speaker 5 (01:17:45):
I just every time I bet on the Raiders or
bet on him, he just terrible. Toughest matchup of the
year for his offensive line and the Browns first, the
Browns defensive line under Geno Smith on his passing yards.
All right.

Speaker 1 (01:18:02):
One thing that I'd liked to do this season, and
we've done in a bunch, actually I hit I think
all three of them. Last week that I did was
take the backup running back and games I think are
gonna be blowouts. Yeah, to get a lot of to
get a lot of rushes. It happened last week in
three games. They just get a lot of carries. So
but that same idea, I'm on the I'm on the receiving,
the receiving, the arts, the rushing yards. I like to
have Montgomery over fifty two and a half for Lions today.

(01:18:26):
You know they do split reps, but when the game
gets long, Montgomery gets in there and kind of gets
the yard between the tackles. So I like Montgomery today.
There's also other opportunities in other games. Whether you look
at the and it's gonna pop, like it'll pop during
the game, like the Ravens, like Hill give him the
third string running back. Possibly today it's gonna be like
nine and a half, ten year or something like that.
There's other opportunities I think to make some of these

(01:18:46):
plays later. But I like Montgomery over today.

Speaker 5 (01:18:48):
Man.

Speaker 4 (01:18:49):
I'll tell you what, Basil Touton was a good play
last week against Yeah, Jacksonville is blowing them out, and
it's like, is he gonna get ten more rushing yards?
It's like, yes, he's gonna way more than ten. So
you're right, Jeff, some of those opportunities you can pounce
on them very good value. I'm gonna stick with that
same game, Jeff, I'm gonna go with Jamiir Gibbs. I'm

(01:19:10):
gonna go with his longest rush over eighteen and a
half against this sucky Giants rush defense. Off a loss.
The Lion's gonna be a complete handful today, and I
expect him to rip off at least the nineteen yard rush.
So that's what I got for you. I got Gibbs
over eighteen and a half, his longest rush. He cranks

(01:19:30):
one out in this game, I would imagine. So that's
a side how long? Anything else you guys want to mention?

Speaker 1 (01:19:37):
I like the under nineteen half points. I know it's
not like a it's a team prop essentially, but I
know the Raiders score. I don't know what about their
offense against the Browns defense. It's just it's not gonna happen.
So also over under very terrible shade, Sanders takes tomorrow

(01:19:58):
seventeen and a half. What are we setting that? What
are we setting like? Either direction?

Speaker 5 (01:20:02):
Oh?

Speaker 1 (01:20:02):
Man, if he plays well, he plays terrible bad standards
takes tomorrow on first take alone over seventeen and a half.
What do you say, Brian? I mean over right, Yeah, same.

Speaker 4 (01:20:15):
Areaeah, Yeah, it gonna be gross and it's gonna be
bad no matter what it gave.

Speaker 5 (01:20:19):
You have a prop. Mitchell over on the Ravens running
back up, back backup, running back, and he liked. He
liked that. He like playing those backup.

Speaker 1 (01:20:29):
I'm telling you those backup running backs. Man, it's it's
been hidden crack. And so Mitchell is one of my
I Montgomery eyed. Also you can look at even like
a zach Sharboney. But also to like, as these pop
up in the game, typically the third guy needs to
carry before they pop up on on bet MGM. So
like Hill for example on Baltimore, like pay attention if

(01:20:52):
they're up sort of big and he'll gets one carry,
He'll his name will popularly on the app. And I
would pounce on Mitchell on on the Hill, I should
say too. As for Baltimore.

Speaker 4 (01:21:01):
There you go cool. Maybe a little Keaton Mitchell. I
don't know, Justice Hill two leg in game parlay. I
don't know if you could get crazy like that completely
nuts here all right, coming up next, the BS is
constant with this team. Oh welcome in Happy Sunday to you.
Happy Week twelve of the NFL to you, getting you

(01:21:22):
all set for a big day of ball kicking off
in just an hour from now. This is one of
the late afternoon games.

Speaker 5 (01:21:31):
Though.

Speaker 4 (01:21:31):
How about Eagles Cowboys? Where the Eagles they are three
point road favorites right now on bet MGM. That's the
team where the BS is just constant, right, it's the
days of our Eagles here. I'm surprised they're eight and
two with the malfunctioning offense and the amount of unnecessary

(01:21:52):
drama that is just constant with the Eagles. Man Like,
at some point does this catch up to you where
we all know about AJ Brown? AJ Brown is you know,
been a usual suspect with the unnecessary drama. Could be
he's playing video games on a live stream or you know,
it was a good response in terms of if he's

(01:22:13):
hosting a sports radio show, you know, where he's like, well,
if I'm not the same player, then maybe sa Kwan
Barkley isn't the same player either. Huh how about that?
And it's like that's a good comeback, But does that
help winning? I don't think it does. And now there
are reports like last week some of the Eagles are
kind of yeah, they're kind of yah about Jalen Hurts

(01:22:33):
as their quarterback, and it's just like, at what point
does the unnecessary stuff start to catch up with the
Eagles because it seems like it could at any point.

Speaker 5 (01:22:42):
Now.

Speaker 1 (01:22:44):
Yeah, heep winning, which makes it all the more odd.
Yeah about the noise, you would think that you would
think that a team like this would just take the
winning and be happy with it. I don't know if
it's a good or bad thing, Like I don't know

(01:23:04):
if you know what I mean, but I just it's
probably bad that they argue that they're so so discombobulated
winning games. I think the chritsis of Hurts is not
unfounded though. I mean, he just won't throw the ball
into into double coverage or into he's holding the ball,
like he just doesn't make those backpacking throws. But we
talked about the can't see all the time, right, where

(01:23:26):
like the Chiefs don't lose Egals don't lose games, right
and and maybe that's why they're ugly sometimes maybe that's
why Hurts is not really throw the ball down the field,
like let's not take a chance. This letter defensive linehidl
bits letter defense make the plays. But that's the thing
It's fair to say Crack that Hurts is not pushing
the ball down the field as much as other quarterbacks
that are winning at this rate. But all he does

(01:23:47):
is win, man, which is which is important to note.
All all they do is win.

Speaker 5 (01:23:51):
Yep. The Cowboys are coming off this win against the
Raiders on Monday night and now get a rematch of
their number one loss with one loss to the Eagles,
which you know, I thought they could have won that game.

Speaker 4 (01:24:05):
Oh absolutely, yeah, sure.

Speaker 1 (01:24:07):
Remember that was so long It was so long ago.

Speaker 5 (01:24:09):
It was so long ago, really, I mean, but like
I said, it was closer than than people may even think.
But Philly won twenty four to twenty. But Dallas had
their chances to win. Like I said, there were one
drop from Cede Lamb, like just missed that. I want
to I guess it was Lamb's fault. I mean he
could have.

Speaker 4 (01:24:28):
Quality I had had to catch those.

Speaker 1 (01:24:30):
Yeah.

Speaker 5 (01:24:30):
Yeah, so they were. That's how close they were. Dallas
defense looked better last week for sure. Williams made his
Cowboy debut for last week and made an immediate impact
one and a half sacks and five quarterback hits. If
they want to win this game today, their defensive line
is going to have to get the hurts and make
things difficult for him, for sure. Uh, they cannot give

(01:24:52):
him a ton of time to find Brownsmith, that's for sure.
And also you know, I don't look at that Monday
night game, so so I don't mean to be so
anti Raiders, my hometown team here, but as we know,
there's no allegiance. My only allegiance is my bankroll. So
I don't care about the you know, the teams, and
they don't care about me where that's fine with me.

Speaker 1 (01:25:12):
They care about you, crack.

Speaker 5 (01:25:15):
I'm never gonna call the guy in the stadium and
screaming and yelling for them. That's that's not That's not me.
So anyway, the Eagles might be the most scrutinized eight
and two teams. Just like we said at the beginning
here a little bit. They don't look great each week,
but they just keep winning. So I win today, I
guess all but clinches the NFC East. Really, Uh, the

(01:25:35):
Eagles being the only team above five hundred in the division.
Washington big letdown. But I think we actually called that
in the preseason. Even we just didn't think that Washington
is going to be uh that team to to make
you know, I mean, yes they were. They were the
second pick there, and uh, you know Daniels had that year,

(01:25:57):
so you just remember him and and I don't know
that very upset, upsetting what had happened there for that team.
I have a buddy of mine who lives right outside
DC in Baltimore, and he goes to every single Washington game,
is big Washington fan, every home game. He is just
so disappointed with the team. So anyway, good game this,
believe it or not. The wise guys are on the

(01:26:19):
Cowboys here, so h yeah, lots of sharp money on
Dallas today.

Speaker 4 (01:26:25):
Kind of interesting, right. If you look at some of
the Philly offensive numbers are just gross. This one is
really interesting to me. How about this, Philly's offense averages
the same amount of points per game as the Broncos offense.
Think about how we feel about the Broncos offense, and
it's like that's the EXE to the decimal point points

(01:26:46):
per game, exact same between Philly and Denver. That's pretty
wild to me. And then it just goes from there.
You look at the Eagles, they ranked twenty fifth in
total yards per game. They're twenty eighth in passing yards
per game. It's another key stat twenty ninth in third
down conversion rate, and yet they're still late in two.
They're still doing enough to win games. Is one of

(01:27:07):
the bright spots of their offense. It's their red zone offense.
They're number one with a seventy five conversion rate.

Speaker 1 (01:27:15):
You want to know why, why is that? So in
the red zone you need to have a real good
offensive line, and if you look at the best teams,
they typically have real good offensive lines. The reason why
is as the field shrinks downeah right, the defense is
closer to the ball, and so you have to punch
a hole in the defense to run the football to score, right,

(01:27:38):
you have to be good. You have to be very
firm pass protecting because defenders know with less room the
quarterbacks and throw the ball quicker. They change their pass
rush a little bit to be more direct to the
quarterback instead of going around. If you go around, the
ball is probably gone how much the quarterback. You just
can't sit there all the time, right, So you have
to have a strong fig offense. List you look at

(01:27:59):
the best red zone teams are often the teams that
can punch a hole. Event the safeties are close, you
got to make you have to actually physically like remove
players to get holes in the red zone. So that's why, look,
Leanne Johnson being out is a problem. Probably, I'm not
sure it matters this weekend, but it will matter a
I don't think they'll play the rest of the season. It's
gonna matter for the rest of the season.

Speaker 4 (01:28:21):
No, I love that description, to punch a hole in
the defense. And the weird thing though, is Philly's rushing game.
So they average one hundred and fifteen rushing yards per game.
That's seventeenth in the NFL. They were number two in
the league last season, and so that's what's weird. I
don't disagree with you in terms of what you just described, Jeff.
In the red zone. They're able to punch a hole
in the defense, but you would think they'd be able

(01:28:42):
to punch the hole into defense between the twenties as well.
And they haven't been doing as good of a job
this year as previous seasons, but you're right, that's one
of their big and also the tush push that's one
of their big advantages in the red zone. Is think
of many teams where third and one fourth and one,
and they don't get it. They don't convert in those situations,

(01:29:02):
and the Eagles do. So the tushbush is a big
advantage also, especially when the left guard moves like a
full second for this thing called yeah, it's.

Speaker 1 (01:29:13):
Got to be banned. I just I think that's that's
fair to say.

Speaker 4 (01:29:16):
Now, yeah, that's just a matter of time. But uh, yeah,
there you go. You got a side on this one.
Crack you with the wise guys over here, you with the.

Speaker 5 (01:29:25):
I lean to the dog, but I'm not uh, I'm
not willing to go on record saying I'm betting them.
So yeah, you know, guys. Speaking of which, let me
just it's something I got to mention. So I was
in New York this week. I flew into JFK. I
was in Brooklyn, and I go to this old fashioned place.
It's called Brennan and Carr and sheep said bay. And

(01:29:45):
the reason why I give them a shout out, I
have never been there. I heard about this roast beef
place nineteen thirty eight, old school joint. I walk in
and a guy at the counter says, he called me Cracker.
He didn't realize my gird name was Crackenberger. He says,
you're a cracker, right, and I was like, Bill Kracker.
He goes, yeah, I know who you are. Next thing,
you know, the owner of the place comes out and says, wait,

(01:30:08):
are you the guy on the raate the weekend. I
listen to you guys every single week. It's all listened.
By the way, Brian listens to your show. To listen
to the Saturday show too, every single week listens to
our show. I just thought that was a cool thing.
I walk. I wasn't expecting that, Like, that's all, you know,
I'll get noticed from video stuff from you know, maybe
the Instagram, TikTok, Twitter or something like that, or the

(01:30:30):
shows or something. I got instant this was from our show.
These guys were so cool. I put a tweet out
on them. Uh, just a cool old school joint nineteen
thirty eight. Got to give them credit. Michael the owner,
Richie the waiter. Great guys and listen to us every week.
They can't wait for Schwartz's picks. I don't know what
that means, but I'm just telling you that's what the

(01:30:51):
guy told me that. I don't think really the.

Speaker 1 (01:30:58):
Guy the guys that these people wait for record on
the X. I don't make up my record. It has
not been good. So if you hope your favorite, I
did one of my twenty four and thirty one.

Speaker 5 (01:31:08):
You're the guy's a fan of yours, I'd be a.

Speaker 1 (01:31:10):
Fan of me. I'm a nice person, the right gambiz car.

Speaker 4 (01:31:16):
But that's just the crack challenge, Jeff. You're printing money
outside of a pretty.

Speaker 1 (01:31:20):
Money comfortable, a little bit tough, but I mean you
still didn't help us now with that, with that fake
I need to go there in New York when I
go to New York next time.

Speaker 5 (01:31:28):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (01:31:29):
No where.

Speaker 5 (01:31:30):
There's a couple of places I love. I put that.
I put both them on Twitter. Llen b. Simoni Gardens,
the greatest Sicilian pizza in the world, upside down pizza,
cheese on the bottom, sauce on top, grated cheese. Great
place over there, and Graves and and and also, like
I said, Brendan and Car there's you can go to
Cony Allen's right there too. You can still go for
a Nathan's there, but I like the I like the

(01:31:52):
Brendan Car stick with I'm gonna stick with that roast
beef place. And of course the pizza place there. There's
another place called Crispy Pizza that's really not too far
there too, there great with a K Chris. People are cray,
I mean, get some shout outs to some places. It's
amazing that my life revolves around food. I'm sorry, buddy,
what do you think?

Speaker 1 (01:32:08):
What do you think my ask my wife to come
here with my wife revolves around I'm planning out like meals,
like days in advance. Where's the beef place at the
roast beef place?

Speaker 12 (01:32:16):
You have?

Speaker 5 (01:32:16):
Sheep said? Bay? Uh, the actual address? I of course
I have it. Why wouldn't I have the address? Three
four three two, No String Avenue. They're gonna know you
as soon as you walk in there by the way.

Speaker 4 (01:32:26):
Yeah, yeah, you going down and if you gotta go
check it out.

Speaker 5 (01:32:30):
Just those kind of old school places. You feel like
you're very protected when you walk in.

Speaker 4 (01:32:34):
So the nice pick stories in that joint.

Speaker 5 (01:32:38):
Well, I don't know about the place we had when
we went, she said, it's far from where I stay though.
Really do you fly into Jfkardia by.

Speaker 4 (01:32:50):
The way, by the way, find the Queen's crack. I
know you love the flight stories. I gotta tell you
a quick flight story from this year. This has never
happened to me. I'm curious if it's ever happened to
you guys. So, So I went to Houston for the
Texans game this week and it was awesome. On a
side note, I was on the field holding the flag
for the beginning of the game. I didn't know you
could buy a ticket to do that. You just buy

(01:33:11):
a ticket like normal, and it was like, Ah, with
this ticket, you're actually on the field. I'm like, sign
me up, let's do this. It was awesome. It was fantastic.
But anyway, I flew into Hobby Airport okay, and I
got my rental car from there. Okay, I drop it
off and I'm going to get my next flight, my
flight back to Vegas. So I flew in on Southwest.

(01:33:35):
I'm flying out on Frontier, okay. So the shuttle driver
just takes me to the airport and he's like, Hey,
what terminal is it for Frontier. I'm like, I'm not sure.
Let me check it out. And I google it and
it says terminals A and D and I'm like, okay,
that's it's either A ARD And then he's like he's
got this confused look on his face, and he's like, yeah,

(01:33:57):
I don't know if Frontier flies out of here. And
I'm like, oh my god, what do you mean? And
so we do a little bit more digging. Turns out
no flight at that airport. Totally separate airport. It's at
George Bush Airport, like a forty five minute uber ride away.
I never even thought these could be two separate airports.

(01:34:17):
You're always flying in and out of the same airport,
are you not.

Speaker 5 (01:34:21):
I would have thought the same thing. I would have
never known that. Yeah, it was crazy to make your flight.

Speaker 4 (01:34:26):
I did barely. This is like the only time in
my life I allowed enough time for something. I'm always
running around at the last time minute.

Speaker 1 (01:34:33):
I'm the person who got the airport twelve minutes before
I board. I want I want to if ideally I
walked through security and on the airplane.

Speaker 4 (01:34:41):
I finally missed a flight. Of all the close calls
I've had, I finally missed a flight. It's when I
went home for my mom's birthday. We went to the
Notre Dame USC game. I missed my flight, and I
missed it.

Speaker 5 (01:34:54):
Right leaving from Vegas.

Speaker 4 (01:34:57):
It was a nightmare. Crack this is what happened. You
would love this as a Vegas guy. So instead of
parking at the airport, I tried to save a couple
of bucks and just park at you know, you could
park at a holiday inn or a local casino and
they shuttle you over there and it's cheaper. And so
I parked at some local casino and I walk up
there and they're like, yeah, the last shuttle uh there

(01:35:19):
was like an hour ago. I'm like, what do you, Brian?

Speaker 5 (01:35:22):
What a Yeah?

Speaker 4 (01:35:25):
So I had to uber over there and it took
too long. I missed my flight. I didn't make it
in time.

Speaker 5 (01:35:29):
Oh my god. Yeah.

Speaker 4 (01:35:31):
So when I was at Houston, I'm like, I'm leaving,
like I'm, you know, leaving plenty of time, plenty of space,
And so I did. I made it barely. But it
was just because I missed the other flight that there
was enough time for that craziness. But wow, there you go.
Might want to double check for anybody flying around. That's
never happened to me. I never gave it a second

(01:35:52):
thought that these could be two separate airports. That's exactly
what happened.

Speaker 5 (01:35:56):
Is crazy. I never thought that.

Speaker 4 (01:35:57):
Yep, wildness, all right, We've got Bill Krackenberger, professional sports handicapper,
Jeff Schwartz, eight year NFL veteran, I'm Brian no. All
season long. Bet MGM's offering you a second chance on
your first touchdown bet. When a customer places a wager
on a first touchdown bet score and he doesn't score first,
but he scores second, bet MGM will return one hundred

(01:36:18):
percent of their stake in cash. There you go, all right?
Coming up next, we get to the prime time games.
We're laying a decent amount of points. Is it too
many points with these decent opponents? We'll get into that.
It is Fox Sports Radios Countdown to Kickoff presented by BETMGM.

just search Fox Sports Radio wherever you get your podcasts,
and you'll find today's full show right after we get

(01:37:00):
off the air. All right, let's get to prime time
over here, We've got Tampa at the Rams to night
Sunday Night football, and Rams are favored by seven. Is
it up to seven? Are we up to a flat
seven checkers?

Speaker 1 (01:37:18):
Yeah?

Speaker 4 (01:37:19):
Yeah, We've got some sevens going on over here, so yeah, uh, yep,
seven on the nose at bet MGM just wanted to
make sure that was updated. Totals forty nine and a
half the Rams man Rams just balanced, scoring offense, fantastic,
you know, sixth in the league, scoring defense second in
the league. Just a weird performance last week. Matthew Stafford's

(01:37:43):
been sensational, but against Seattle only one hundred and thirty
passing yards. But Seatle's got one of the best defenses.
Tampa a lot more room to throw the ball, so
I would expect Stafford to be a lot healthier in
the passing department to night. And for Tampa they get
Chris Godwin Junior back. That's a big deal for them.
Still trying to get Bucky Irving. It'll be next week

(01:38:04):
most likely against the Cardinals, not today, but they're starting
to get a little healthier. It's a big game for
both teams. You look at what's on deck after this
game for either team. If you're able to get this win,
Rams have a legit shot at the one seed Tampa.
You can start moving up in the pecking order if
you win. A game like this, gets a little bit
easier after tonight. So big game for both should be

(01:38:26):
a good one.

Speaker 1 (01:38:29):
You know, I I just what is Tampa right now?
I know, I don't know what. I don't know what.
I don't know what they are, and that kind of
concerns me. Right like you look at it at a
team like them, and you think you know, good defense,
good offensive line. Of the last two. They allowed forty
four points to Buffalo last week, and I get it,

(01:38:52):
like Josh Allen can have that effect on you, but
not I mean you short thirty two didn't cover that game.
Another one I lost last week. I was just to
have Bucks plus five and a half. The down five,
they fumble at the end of Tampa and then they score.

Speaker 4 (01:39:07):
I was on the same side as you.

Speaker 1 (01:39:08):
It's so bad week before Tampa Bay. I mean, New
England ran right through them. I think the Rams are
just a much better team. I I you know, I
seven's a lot, definitely is a lot. But right now
Tampa Bay is not playing really good football. And and
the fact is that that the Rams are the Rams.

(01:39:33):
There's to me only a few teams I bet to
win the Super Bowl. The Rams are one of them.
The Eagles are one of them. And it's funny had
only bet on Buffalo or Kansas City even though neither
might make the playoffs. Who knows. But though, like the Rams,
crack are really really good and seven is a lot
though for competent Tampa Bay team, but they just haven't
played well in two weeks.

Speaker 5 (01:39:52):
Yeah, guys, I hate to give you a live bet
in the middle of the show, but you know I
like doing this. I think the at bet MGM, they
have a really good price on the first half on
the Chiefs minus one fifty five. It's minus one eighty
one seventy five almost everywhere. Yet they have a minus

(01:40:14):
one fifty five money line first half Chiefs. That's going
to be an official play by me at it's at
bet MGM. There's only two sports books that have good prices.
Bet MGM is the best one on there. Like I said,
the Sharp sports books are minus one eighty, minus one
seventy five and one seventy seven. So Chiefs first half
money line. Sorry, I apologize that I was, you know,

(01:40:35):
off off my game there first.

Speaker 4 (01:40:37):
How dare you make money for our listeners?

Speaker 1 (01:40:39):
Oh?

Speaker 5 (01:40:39):
Sorry, Tampa Bay rams. We're talking right still? I hope, yeah. Yeah,
that's the big one prime time tonight. That's why I
asked Christian about that. I didn't know if there would
be and he said, there's going to be some Tampa
Bay people out there, so it's not going to be
one of those eighty percent plays. I like when I
hear Christian say eighty percent of the money's on one side.

(01:41:01):
Both of these teams on top of their divisions. Stafford
went from will he play, which you know literally with
the question mark to an MVP favorite. But he did
have his worst game this season last week for Seattle.
Another MVP candidate, Baker Mayfield, had an off game last
week too, but it was the Bucks defense that essentially

(01:41:22):
lost the game for them versus Bills given up forty
four points. Insane. And we need defenses here to win games.
That's the most important thing. It's we've always been taught
defense wins Super Bowls. I agree defense wins games in general.
The Bucks will most likely be a lot more aggressive
on defensive to on d today and hope to put
Stafford on the on the move. DeVante Adams has been

(01:41:44):
Stafford's favorite, you know, go to guy in the red zone.
Seven touchdowns last four games should be a better game
than maybe people think with this line. Pretty solid, pretty
solid sevens everywhere. But a lot of people win this
line first came out, they jumped on the on the
rams originally because this line opened up at six, went

(01:42:06):
up to seven, even seven and a half. Settled around
seven here, but like I said, it did open up
at six. A lot of people went that jumped on
it early in the week. Right now we're sitting at
BENMGM minus seven forty nine and a half.

Speaker 4 (01:42:18):
By the way, what's interesting looking at Tampa is, Jeff,
you asked the question, like, what are they right now?
What I think they are. I think they're a banged
up team that's kind of treading water, and you gotta
win a game. If you could win this game, it
would be big because what's on deck is so favorable. Listen,
after tonight, this is Tampa's next six games. A lot

(01:42:40):
of wins in these next six games. You host the Cardinals,
host the Saints, host the Falcons at the Panthers at
the Dolphins host the Panthers, those are all favorable matchups
for them. So if you're able to win a game,
and it's gonna be tough tonight, the Rams are a really,
really good team, and the Tampa's defense is underperforming. You know,

(01:43:03):
the rush defense been a little leakier than it should be.
Travon Henderson is, you know, ripping off sixty seventy yard
runs against them, and the pass defense has not been good.
But they're banged up. And if you're able to win,
you get to seven and four, could you go, could
you win those next six games after tonight? You're probably
gonna be favored in all of them. Maybe you're a

(01:43:24):
slight road dog at Carolina maybe, but if you're able
to win and get to seven.

Speaker 1 (01:43:29):
And four, they're not gonna be an underdog at Carolina,
there's no So.

Speaker 4 (01:43:34):
There you go, probably favored in every single game.

Speaker 1 (01:43:36):
I think after tonight. Yeah, I think Carolina. I mean
they're are ye know, they're gonna go over the wintel
hopefully which will be good from my wallet, but but
they're not.

Speaker 4 (01:43:45):
Jeff, if that you get to seven and four, let's
say you win. Let's say you win all six. After tonight,
you get to thirteen and four, you got a shot
at the two seed. They lost the head to head
to the Eagles, you'd have an outside shot, believe it
or not, for Tampa to be a one seed. That's
how big the game is tonight.

Speaker 1 (01:44:02):
I'm curious what they are to win the division. Let's
see your IFC West. Oh, they're mine and fifty, So
the books are the books are on Wow?

Speaker 4 (01:44:13):
Yeah, what's Carolina to win the division?

Speaker 1 (01:44:17):
Five fifty?

Speaker 5 (01:44:18):
Wow?

Speaker 4 (01:44:19):
The holy I mean Tampa's six and four Carolina six
and five, those are the that's crazy. Really Yeah, well
if you let let's do the same thing with Carolina's
schedule here so.

Speaker 1 (01:44:32):
They can is like twenty six and Dvayah, it's going
to last.

Speaker 4 (01:44:36):
They're tough games, are they. They're at the Niners, they
host the Rams, they host Tampa, they host Seattle, and
they're at Tampa. So they've got a much tougher road
than Tampa does.

Speaker 5 (01:44:49):
Yeah yeah, wow, you got me looking at those odds though.
Just it's just like Brian said, six and five, six
and four, But but I guess it's just a it's
the quality of the of the teams we've known, right
as we kind of know what's what the what the
real deal is there? I can't that just sounds like
giant numbers there. But yeah, I mean I I like

(01:45:13):
taking some value sometimes sometimes some books, you know, fall
asleep at the wheel, But I don't think this is
I think that's real. That's real. That's not fall asleep
at the wheel. That's what it is. Everywhere.

Speaker 4 (01:45:25):
Interesting. Yeah, yeah, I think it's the remaining schedule. That's
the big that's just so.

Speaker 5 (01:45:29):
Sure of course that's in there.

Speaker 4 (01:45:31):
That's gotta be it all right, interesting stuff. Speaking of interesting,
it's rights itself. Isaac loewen Kron writing the book Uninteresting.
He's got more information for you. What's going on I low.

Speaker 8 (01:45:44):
And it's all thanks to Clay Thompson. So stay tuned
for that moments from now. But up first, the NFL
is Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Aaron is inactive today at Chicago
to a broken left wrist, So Mason Rudolph, we'll get
the start here. Was Steelers head coach Mike Tomlin earlier

(01:46:05):
on CBS.

Speaker 11 (01:46:06):
Pup evaluate complete clarity. He's not going to play today.
He for his tail off all week. But that's the
prudent play to make for us as a collective, and
so he won't be playing this week. Will we'll let
Mason start in Obviously, he's absorbed most of the reps
this week.

Speaker 8 (01:46:21):
Green Bay Packers running back Josh Jacobs will not play today.
He's inactive against the Vikings due to a knee injury.
Seattle Seahawks running back Kenneth Walker is active for their
game at Tennessee. He'd been questionable due to a glute injury.
Dewicklan Patriots running back Romandre Stevenson is active for today's
game at Cincinnati. He'd been questionable with a toe injury.

(01:46:42):
NBA Saturday night, the Memphis Grizzlies won a Dallas one,
two to ninety six. But the story is what happened
after the game is Dallas's Klay Thompson got into a
verbal confrontation with Memphis' John Morant on the floor moments
after the final buzzer, and then the local fireworks continued.
On Clay Thompson's part with reporters.

Speaker 9 (01:47:04):
He's a funny guy.

Speaker 3 (01:47:05):
He has a lot to say all the time, especially
for a guy who rarely takes accountability.

Speaker 9 (01:47:10):
But you know, what that's for another day.

Speaker 10 (01:47:12):
What did job to say that on this occasion?

Speaker 3 (01:47:14):
Nothing of intelligent depth, just running his mouth. He's been
running his mouth for a long time. It's funny to
run your mouth when you're on the bench. It's kind
of the story of his career so far. Just leaving
us once more. You know, we all want to see
him out there and do his best, but he's just
been letting a lot of other stuff.

Speaker 9 (01:47:34):
Get away of that, and we need that in the via.

Speaker 3 (01:47:36):
We need our best players will be out there, and
when you're a star comes with a great responsibility. I
hate to see that go to waste.

Speaker 8 (01:47:43):
Now for his part, guys, John Morant may or may
not have responded to Thompson when a short time ago
he retweeted a post from a gentleman named at GG
young Boy reading quote, stop putting narratives on bleep unquote.
Good to know I studied under a Pilitzer Prize winning journalist,

(01:48:05):
only to wind up mining the social media feeds of
the likes of at GG young Boy.

Speaker 4 (01:48:10):
Back to you, guys, hey man, you know you don't
see the curveballs coming in life sometimes I low absolutely man.
It is Fox Sports Radios Countdown to Kickoff, presented by
Bett MGM. All right, thinking what primetime Tomorrow night, Panthers
at the Niners, San fran favored by seven and a
half over here totals at forty nine and a half.

(01:48:32):
I think the total makes a lot of sense. Just
no pass rushes for either team, you know, with no
Nick Bosa, that obviously hurts the Niners pass rush significantly.
And man, the pressure rates are just like astonishingly low.
You look at Carolina, They're thirty first in pressure rate. Yeah,
the Niners are dead last in pressure rate, and so

(01:48:54):
you know, you know ports, Yeah, when you see Purty,
you see Bryce Young with enough time to scan the field,
find the open guy that they'll hurt you, right if
you're not pressuring them, even those guys will hurt you
like crazy.

Speaker 1 (01:49:06):
So actually, my thought about this game is a little
bit different because I think actually next week is a
good opportunity to fade the Panthers. I'm curious if you
guys think the look ahead line is worth taking now.
So Carolina plays Monday night at eight thirty eight fifteen Eastern, Right, Okay,

(01:49:29):
They're gonna get home Tuesday morning, seven am on the
west On the East Coast ish seven am in the
East Coast right. They then have to you lose a
day essentially for preparation and recovery, and then the Rams
coming there on Sunday. I think like it's their Fairy

(01:49:50):
nine and a half right now, the Rams are. It
feels like a really really bad spot for Carolina off
a long road trip to face the best team in
the NFC. Just food for thought for next week. I look.
I think that the Panthers have had a great season
so far. I love what they're doing here, very clearly

(01:50:11):
have a vision. I just don't know if they're good
enough to play this game for sixty minutes to Niners
and keep it close. McMillan has been great, Daddle's been awesome,
Bryce Young's played better. They're still not great on defense.
The Niners did get pretty back. He looked really good
last week. I probably won't have much on this game

(01:50:32):
in the end, Crack, but I do think that going
back to Christian McCaffrey over five and a half receptions
is a way to play this as well.

Speaker 5 (01:50:38):
Let me ask you, you're seeing a lot more like
you know, Panthers fandom in town, maybe jerseys and hats
or anything.

Speaker 1 (01:50:45):
Yeah, no, I also know. I mean you have to
leave the house to look at that stuff.

Speaker 5 (01:50:50):
So, oh yeah. You don't really go too many places,
right the gym.

Speaker 1 (01:50:53):
The grocery store. Plates my kids up from their various activities.
I'm like at taxing of the most.

Speaker 5 (01:51:00):
I gotta get back into my plates in the gym.

Speaker 4 (01:51:02):
The metal shows though, too, Jeff, you always I do.

Speaker 1 (01:51:05):
I did metal shows. Did you see by the way
that they was it miss Miss Universe?

Speaker 5 (01:51:10):
Brian?

Speaker 10 (01:51:10):
Yeah?

Speaker 1 (01:51:10):
Yeah, the contestants did a was it Miss Universe and
Miss America?

Speaker 4 (01:51:13):
I think it's Miss Universe she did?

Speaker 1 (01:51:15):
She did a metal thing, right.

Speaker 4 (01:51:17):
I didn't see that. I got to check that out.
I had no idea.

Speaker 1 (01:51:20):
Yeah, oh yeah, she like her Her performance was like
it was like a like metal. I feel like that
Brian's Brian's don't show your girlfriend that. I'd be like
Brian's dream grow right there. So so no, I've not
seen much pride. I will say though, the Panthers had
this podcast right that went away. It's been like a
fifteen year podcast.

Speaker 4 (01:51:40):
They went away. Yeah, and now then they jump back
in it and they're back. A bunch of the front runners.
I hope they get no downloads. What a bunch of
joke at you kidding me? You got no time? It's
ruining your life. I can't devote time. We're not winning games.
Now they win game all we got time, but I
have no time. I help you fail miserably. Get out
of your meal mixed, Get lost, you bums. I hate

(01:52:03):
those people. I don't even know them. I just hate
the concept of the Well we keep doing it. We
can't you devote time to your team, right like, if
you're on board, if you're fully on board, you're there
with them, even if they suck, you don't just go away.
And they went away and now their back, Get out
of here, Get lost. I hate that podcast. I will
never support it. I hope everybody throws it in the trash.

Speaker 5 (01:52:24):
This is one of those games, primetime games here the
San franc Carolina that the wise Guy, one of the
Wise Guy Cruz bet Carolina as soon as the game
came that they seen it go from six to seven
and a half and then it bounced right back like
no respect like Rodney Dangerfield for the Panthers aside here
this week, but this game, surprisingly, I had some playoff

(01:52:48):
implications for both teams, I mean, first time they faced
each other since the Blockbuster trade. Had sent McCaffrey to
San fran Since that trade, Carolina nineteen and thirty seven
and forty nine Ers thirty five and twenty one. So
not a good trade for Carolina. Forty nine Ers have
been beat up all season long. It seems like they
have been beat up for a couple of years. Injuries.

(01:53:11):
Still battling a lot of them. But yeah, then again,
still seven and a half point favorite in this one.
But I would lean the dog if anything here, just
to let you guys know. So at the end of
the show, I give some picks out one of my
buddies who I really respect. He's a first half expert.
I mean, he's that good in lots of different games.

(01:53:32):
He just knows what the line should be first half
compared to full game, and he also knows the teams.
So this is all sports. Though he actually sent me
a text and I said, I can't send it out.
I can't give it to anybody. He likes the Jets
first half. I just can't get it. Jets for it. Okay,
Jets first half first Baltimore, and it's just you know,

(01:53:56):
it's a play that I respect. Now, I didn't bet it,
but maybe if I can find like an eight, I
would do it. But seven and a half even it
shouldn't shouldn't make a difference seven and a half or eight.
But over at bet MGM first half Jets plus seven
and a half.

Speaker 1 (01:54:14):
He's good. He's good.

Speaker 5 (01:54:16):
Yeah, he's good. He's good. But I didn't bet it yet.
I didn't.

Speaker 1 (01:54:22):
What were you saying, Jeff, I haven't account of could
maybe you know, throw Yeah? No, I mean I didn't.

Speaker 5 (01:54:26):
I didn't bet it yet, but I didn't bet it
because it's the Jets probably, But then again, that's why
you're getting extra half a point maybe here, you know,
maybe that's why you're getting seven and a half instead
of seven. Uh, you know on a fourteen or thirteen
and a half point spread, which has moved a little bit,
it's pretty solid fourteen now. But so yeah, I just

(01:54:47):
just wanted to throw it in there. I know it's
an ugly one of those ugly duck plays first half
or maybe a peanut bet.

Speaker 1 (01:54:54):
Yeah, but you either have to do to be like
you'd have to be all in or all out, you know, like,
so if you like, you know.

Speaker 5 (01:54:59):
Well, then maybe them all out all out.

Speaker 4 (01:55:04):
Yeah, you know, it's funny you mentioned that crack about
McCaffrey with Christian McCaffrey facing his former team. I get,
and you might agree with this, chef. I get Saquon
Barkley vibes a little bit. Where listen Saquon with the Giants,
that team was going nowhere fast, and it's not Saquan's fault,
it's the roster's fault. And it was the same thing

(01:55:26):
with Christian McCaffrey with the Panthers, Like they were going
nowhere fast. But Christian McCaffrey and Saquon are fantastic running backs,
and you get him on the right team. You put
Christian McCaffrey with that Kyle Shanahan offense, and you're cooking
with Greece all of a sudden, right, The same thing
with Saquon with Philly before they got super conservative and everything,

(01:55:49):
but like they weren't going anywhere on the Giants or
the Panthers, respectively, And now those teams look like idiots
for not making it work. It's just the roster wasn't
good enough for it to work. But it's gonna work
right great in other places. So It's a weird spot
for those original teams to be in because the roster
just wasn't good enough to utilize those to their max potential.

(01:56:10):
You know you're right what it was.

Speaker 1 (01:56:12):
Yeah, I thought about that a lot. But we have
to get to a crack challenge here pretty soon.

(01:58:02):
to make let's do it.

Speaker 8 (01:58:04):
Five five games against the spread.

Speaker 5 (01:58:08):
We call it all it the crack challenge, all.

Speaker 4 (01:58:11):
Right, and true crack challenge form lions up to minus fourteen.
So make it as difficult as possible if you're leading
that way, Greg, you know that's the beauty of this. Jeff,
we start with you. What do you like, man? What
are You're five? He stooped up. Two Chiefs are up
to four?

Speaker 1 (01:58:29):
Then the chief Lers plus Leers plus three, neither Rams
minus seven? Okay, the Cardinals plus two and a half. Okay,
these are like really bad numbers today.

Speaker 5 (01:58:48):
I know it.

Speaker 1 (01:58:51):
Pats minus seven, that numbers keeps going down. I mean
that makes sense to me. And uh oh boy, this
is not fun. Cowboys plus three, all right, Cobo, all right, Bryan,
there are a couple.

Speaker 4 (01:59:07):
I'm with you. Give me a plus three with the
Steelers and plus three with the Cowboys. I'm with you
on those. Hopefully we'll not regret it. Do not leave
me astray, Jeff, I would not appreciate that. I'm gonna
take the points with Minnesota. I'll take the six and
a half divisional game. Don't trust the Packers play down
to the level of their competition. What else do I

(01:59:29):
have here? I'm gonna take Carolina. I'll take the seven
and a half, no pass rush with the Niners, can
run it with Dowdell, you know, run it with Cuba.
I'll take them, and man, I love the Lions. I
hate it moved all the way up to fourteen. Gosh,
I hate this.

Speaker 1 (01:59:47):
Was ten and a half from three days ago.

Speaker 4 (01:59:49):
It's crazy, right, it's moved so much. I'm gonna do it.
I'll lay the fourteen. I hate myself. Crack probably hates
me right now, but I'm gonna do it. I think
they blow the doors off of the Giants. All right,
let's get to rapid fire.

Speaker 5 (02:00:03):
Here, would go rapid fire, all right, Crack time, Pittsburgh
first half plus one and a half, Pittsburgh first half
plus one and a half.

Speaker 4 (02:00:15):
All right, anything else you want to mention, Jeff.

Speaker 1 (02:00:19):
I also like I also like the uh the Gino
Smith under that game and Raiders team total under nineteen
and a half.

Speaker 4 (02:00:28):
Okay, I'm gonna go with Darnell Mooney Atlanta wide receiver.
No Drake London. I gotta throw it somewhere. Let's go
over forty four and a half for him. He's gonna
be targeted a lot. Let's get the Cracks play of
the day.

Speaker 8 (02:00:41):
This is the best play of the days.

Speaker 4 (02:00:43):
All right.

Speaker 5 (02:00:46):
What is it? Crack Cleveland passing yard Shadors Sanders under
one hundred and sixty five under.

Speaker 4 (02:00:52):
The public hates you crowd daring, It is probably right,
all right,
