Speaker 1 (00:00):
Jonas Knocks. You thought you knew me.
Speaker 2 (00:02):
You didn't know a thing about me.
Speaker 1 (00:04):
He's crazier than air. Else wrapped that guy, Jonas Knocks.
Speaker 3 (00:08):
You heard me, brien. Some darkness is lighting up your
speakers to establish an alibi for the day. No live
from the Fox Sports Radio studios. Here's Jonas Knox.
Speaker 4 (00:25):
Yep, So okay, I'll report this.
Speaker 5 (00:42):
You know, at this point it's pretty tough to argue
against something in the world of sports.
Speaker 2 (00:48):
It's a fact. It's no longer an opinion.
Speaker 5 (00:50):
We'll tell you what that is coming up here in
just a couple of moments from now. Jonas Knox, Fox
Sports Radio. You can hang out with us. Is always
on the iHeartRadio app. You can always find this on
hundreds of affiliates all across the country and wherever the
hell you are making us a part of your Saturday,
post Thanksgiving weekend or post Thanksgiving whatever.
Speaker 2 (01:13):
We appreciate you doing so, and we are going to
take you and Rob Parker's.
Speaker 1 (01:18):
Gullet all the way up until four pm Eastern toime.
Speaker 2 (01:21):
I'm busy in my mouth. Yes you did, Yes you.
Speaker 5 (01:26):
Did, And let's just hope that was the only place,
all right, let's like again, we're just hoping and praying
here on this post Thanksgiving weekend as everybody is enjoying
football and spending time with family and just you know,
doing the usual stuff. And while we could sit here
(01:46):
and argue about a lot of things, like you could
find an argument about anything. There's some people that try
and avoid their families during the holidays, or some people
to try and avoid the in laws during the hall.
Speaker 2 (01:56):
Like whatever it is.
Speaker 5 (01:56):
You can argue about stuff knocking along, whatever you want
to say. It's now to the point to where I
don't know if people can argue against this, because if
you do, I think you're wrong. Ohio State and Michigan
is the best game rivalry in sports and it ain't
(02:17):
even close, not even close. This first half felt like,
you know, Michigan was kind of making a statement and
doing what they were doing, and it looked like all
the previous games between Ohio State and Michigan. And then
you know, next thing, you know, Ohio State throws a
touchdown to Jeremiah Smith. I'll be honest with you, I
(02:39):
think they got away with one there. That ball looked
like it was coming loose as he was crossing the
end zone probably should have been a touchback, but nonetheless,
Julian Saying bounces back from an early pick throws a
couple of touchdown passes, and it does feel like through
the first half, you've seen, Oh, this is why Ohio
State is where they are. They have that much talent,
(03:01):
that quarterbacks a true freshman, and they've got a seventeen
to nine lead, and if we're being honest, kind of
dominated that second quarter. And so you're watching this game going, well,
you know, this doesn't feel like it maybe it's going
to be as close as some of these other games.
It feels like Ohio State, as predicted and projected by
a lot of people, is going to win this game
(03:23):
and they're going to go on and they're legitimate college football,
legitimate champion in college football, like they won last year.
There's an opportunity to go back to back like this
is a legitimate national championship team. But I'm watching it
going every single thing matters, goal line stand, interception, fumble.
(03:46):
It looks like the baseball postseason to where every pitch matters,
everything counts. And one of the conversations that was making
around and making the rounds this week was people that
were saying, you know, this is preposterous. I mean, you've
got a high I stateon Michigan fans saying that they'd
rather beat that team than win a national title. This
(04:06):
is preposterous, and for everybody on the outside it is.
The issue is you're trying to look at.
Speaker 2 (04:14):
This rivalry.
Speaker 5 (04:17):
Through the lens of another rivalry, and you can't because
this one is different. Like the whole idea that you'd
rather beat this team than win a national championship, I
agree with you in every other instance, in every other rivalry,
it's preposterous.
Speaker 2 (04:35):
It doesn't even make sense. None of it makes sense.
Speaker 5 (04:43):
Like if you looked at this through the eyes of
another rivalry, it wouldn't make any sense to pick a
Yankees Red Sox when the Yankees won a World Series
or the Red Sox win a World Series.
Speaker 2 (04:55):
Do you even know who won the season series?
Speaker 5 (05:00):
Like you play so many times, it's shown on ESPN,
it's on Sunday Night Baseball, Like, do you even know
who won this the regular season series? No, cause that's
all about the World Series. So from that standpoint, yeah,
the World Series is more important.
Speaker 2 (05:16):
Of course.
Speaker 5 (05:16):
It is same thing with the Celtics and the Lakers.
Anytime the Celtics and the Lakers won a title, did
you even know what the regular season matchup was? Was
it a clean sweep one way or the other? Was
it one one like to even know? No, you like
nobody cares. It's not even a part of the conversation Bears, Packers, Eagles, cow.
(05:38):
But does anybody know what the or anybody talk about
what the regular season matchups were and what the record
was in the regular season if those teams go on
to win a Super Bowl? Nobody does because it's not
the same. And so when you hear people try and
(05:59):
expect you no, no, no, like you're not You're looking at
this through the eyes of those when you gotta be
you got to change your vantage point here, Like it
is completely different. It's like one of those pictures back
in the day that you would stare at and you go, yeah,
it's just a picture of some water and there's like
a dolphin jumping out of it, and then you got no, no, no, no,
(06:20):
really focus in and all of a sudden it's Abe
Lincoln's face and George Washington is brushing his teeth behind him,
his wooden teeth, Like, like, what do we but you
didn't see that because you were looking at it from
the vantage point of one of these other places. This
one is different. You gotta adjust the way you analyze it.
You've got to adjust the way you try and reason
(06:42):
with it. It doesn't make sense. It's like they've got all
these this new information out about UFOs and UAPs and
all this stuff. Like, what are you talking about it?
It's like flying saucers in the sky and it's like alien. Oh,
the whole thing's the whole thing's lame.
Speaker 2 (06:58):
But it's dumb. That's like, no, no, no, no, Like
those things are coming out of the water.
Speaker 5 (07:03):
Like we've got naval pilots that are talking about it,
that have video of it, that have seen it.
Speaker 2 (07:09):
They're coming out of the water.
Speaker 5 (07:11):
Nah.
Speaker 2 (07:11):
Nah no. We were always saying no, no.
Speaker 5 (07:13):
No, you have to look at this completely differently. However
you were looking at it before doesn't apply here. Whatever
you thought about other rivalries in sports, whether it's any
of the ones we've named, Hey, what about Dodgers, Padres,
it's the new Yankees Red Sox. Dude, Like, if you're
winning the World Series, nobody really cares what happened in.
Speaker 2 (07:36):
The regular season.
Speaker 5 (07:37):
Nobody cares, Like, you know how many times the Padres
have won a big regular season game and they're on
the outside looking in while the Dodgers are celebrating a
parade and nobody cares. Nobody cares, they don't care. It's
not on the same level. It just isn't. And people
can get upset by that, and they can get offended
(07:57):
by that, and they can talk about it, well what
about my school, Well it might just stop.
Speaker 2 (08:01):
Stop.
Speaker 5 (08:04):
You cannot look at this through the eyes you've been
using to look.
Speaker 1 (08:08):
At other rivalries. It is different.
Speaker 5 (08:10):
It does make sense when you hear some of them saying, yeah, listen,
you know we didn't win a national title, but we
beat them. It's why when you ask one of those fans, wait, wait,
are you serious you'd rather win this game that? Yeah,
it's why.
Speaker 2 (08:28):
It's the best.
Speaker 5 (08:29):
And it's by the way, every year it seems like
the gap is widening every single year. It seems this
thing transcends nil It like all the other things that
have kind of quote unquote polluted college football and polluted
college sports, it transcends all of that, all of it.
(08:54):
If Julian Sayan wins this game as a true freshman.
He's a made man, made like he's well, we're good here,
Sharon Moore. You could say whatever you want about him.
Guess what, though, he's left his mark already, Like did
he really earn that job or was he just the
(09:14):
next in line? Probably next in line, but you know what,
he earned it when he beats Ohio State, Like you
can't get out of this game with your time there
unless you've won this game, unless you've.
Speaker 1 (09:26):
Won the game.
Speaker 5 (09:30):
And it's called that for a reason, because this one
really is different.
Speaker 2 (09:35):
Pick whatever rivalry.
Speaker 5 (09:36):
You want in any sport, go up and down the
list of all the other like look up use groc
Use AI, put together a goofy list that they'll make
it clip through on a website, whatever you want to do.
Instagram will have to like whatever you want. But if
you can't see it now, it's because you're using the
wrong lens. If you can't see it now and you
(09:58):
don't understand now, it's because you're looking at it like
it's normal like everything else and it's not. The reason
why this one feels different is because it is. It's
Jonas Knox here on Fox Sports Radio at the Jonas
Knox on x You can get us on Instagram as
well too at Jonas Knox Show. Second half has kicked
(10:19):
off there in an arbor. It looks like the snow
is going to have an impact and have an effect.
Ohio State has a seventeen to nine lead. They get
the ball first in the second half, and they've got
the ball right now. Is the second half just kicked
off there? So we will keep you covered on that
between number one and number fifteen in the game as
Ohio State's looking to try and get back in this
(10:41):
thing because it's.
Speaker 2 (10:42):
Been a long ass time.
Speaker 5 (10:43):
It's been a long ass and I'll say this, I'm
not rooting against Ohio State. I just want to see
this game tied or I want to see them down
by a point or two with like a minute or
so left.
Speaker 2 (10:55):
That's all.
Speaker 1 (10:56):
That's all.
Speaker 5 (10:57):
I just like, there's like I get a kick at
it seeing that fan base stress out, Like I get
a kick out of seeing Ryan Day looks stress. So
that's all I'm asking for, Like, just give us something
competitive down the stretch, because it's one of the great
things you watch in sports to see that fan base
start to show the nerves and start to show the
(11:19):
wear and tear of the trash talk they've had to
deal with for the past five years. That's all I'm
asking for, Just a simple request, early one for the holidays,
all right, So we're gonna have the usuals coming up
later on. We will have our TGFG Game of the
Week later on this hour. Also this hour, we've got
another edition of Do You Care? We've got Knox Locks.
It's all yours here on this two hour extravaganza. Up next, though,
(11:42):
there is an easy answer to a real issue and
a real problem in the NFL, and I'll tell you
what it is right here on FSR.

Speaker 5 (12:36):
Yeah, here's the issue, just for people that are aware,
there's pros and cons to Alex ty Shirt being here today.
Speaker 1 (12:48):
The con is.
Speaker 5 (12:51):
He remembers every out of context thing I've ever said
on the air here, and there's been a lot. I'm
a little moisture right now the past fifteen years or
whatever it is at this point, and so it's just
a constant reminder of the complete Jackassi that I've been
here since I've been employed by Fox Sports Radio.
Speaker 6 (13:11):
Now.
Speaker 5 (13:12):
The pros to Alex Tischer being here is that.
Speaker 2 (13:18):
Everybody's in a good mood.
Speaker 5 (13:20):
Yeah, I don't know what it is, listen, it's just,
you know, there's a lot to that, and so everybody's smiling,
which is a rarity on this show.
Speaker 2 (13:28):
What do you mean, Janas, what are you talking about?
That is nothing?
Speaker 5 (13:33):
Man, nothing, just nothing, man, you know, we just we're
all just having a good time here.
Speaker 2 (13:40):
We're all having a good time.
Speaker 5 (13:41):
While the snow is starting to flurry, if that's even
a term in ann arbor right now, as Michigan has
got the ball on a third and ten against Ohio State,
down seventeen to nine and now in incompletion. So now
to be four and ten for the Wolverines with about
(14:04):
eight and a half minutes left to go in the
third quarter there, and so we will keep you posting
on the updates on that game as Michigan is trying
to get back into it after a pretty dominant second
quarter by the buck guys there, So I.
Speaker 2 (14:17):
We'll keep you posting on that.
Speaker 5 (14:18):
By the way, we are going to have our TGFG
Game of the Week coming up here in a little
over ten minutes from now.
Speaker 2 (14:25):
That is a tradition here on this show.
Speaker 5 (14:27):
And a reminder to be sure to check out the
Fox Sports Radio YouTube channel. Just search Fox Sports Radio
on YouTube. You'll see our best videos from all our shows.
Don't stop there, hit the thumbs up icons.
Speaker 2 (14:38):
Go it away.
Speaker 5 (14:39):
Let us know who take on the show you like,
who you think are complete garbage. But search Fox Sports
Radio on YouTube and subscribed. And much like the tweets
and the insults that are sending into this show, I
don't get offended by it. I'm not sensitive. Fire away
if you think something I said was ridiculous. Go ahead,
let me know, be insulting, be rude, I don't care.
What do I care? So we'll have fun with that
(15:01):
when you get over to the Fox Sports Radio YouTube channel.
Speaker 2 (15:03):
All right, So Jonas Knox here on Fox Sports Radio.
Speaker 5 (15:06):
Now, what I'm going to do is I'm going to
make things pretty simple and pretty easy, all right, because
there's some people in the NFL that are trying to
get to the bottom of what an issue is. And
it's really really easy to figure out. It's really easy
to figure out. So the Eagles hosted the Bears as
(15:27):
a seven point favorite yesterday on Black Friday, short week
at home, defending Super Bowl champions, and it looked like
you were going to expose the Chicago Bears. So, of course,
as many people expected, the Bears ran through their ass
(15:52):
like a bad batch of chili.
Speaker 2 (15:54):
All game. All game.
Speaker 5 (16:00):
Bears threw some Indian food in there, some Serranos, maybe
an old paste Pecanti bottle that's been sitting there since
the commercials ran in the mid nineties, some habigneros, you
anything you could get your hands on. The Bears threw
it in there, just kept throwing it in there. Here's
(16:22):
a little uh, We'll throwing some Rocky Road ice cream
just to mess with the stomach even.
Speaker 2 (16:28):
More, and proceeded to run.
Speaker 5 (16:30):
Through their ass like we've never seen anybody do to
the Philadelphia Eagles in a long time. And the fans
are watching it, going, what the f is this? Nobody's
done that to us ever, and it was the Bears.
And so you got people around the NFL and people
(16:52):
in Philly and all these people looking for answers like
we're trying. I mean, we're trying to figure this and
we don't know what the problem. We didn't expect that,
and we've we lost to Dallas and blew a twenty
one point lead and all b go. We don't know,
we don't know what's going on. Nick Sirianni post game,
head coach of the Eagles, Hey, coach, what do you
(17:14):
what do you think the issue is with all these
struggles that your team is having here in this midst
of this season, when you're supposed to be celebrating a
Super Bowl championship.
Speaker 8 (17:22):
I wish I could tell you this is exactly what
it is. And this this is hard, you know, you know,
it's not it's not easy to to to be successful
stay successful. So we we have to find again, we
have to do it collectively. We have to do it
collectively as a unit. Like obviously, if I knew exactly
what it was in everything that it was, then we'd
(17:44):
we'd have fixed it. But right now, you know, we're
still we're still searching, and we're still looking, and a
lot of football left to play eight and four right now,
a lot of football left to play.
Speaker 5 (17:54):
Yeah, there was also a report, who knows if this
is true, but there was a report that the Eagles
held a player's only meeting.
Speaker 1 (18:05):
But didn't include Jalen Hurts in the meeting.
Speaker 5 (18:08):
So you've got that, You've got Nick Sirianni looking for answers,
you've got all the rumors that are out there about
you know, what's going on with the Ovens. Let me
just make this real easy on everybody involved. They just
don't like Jalen Hurts. Okay, let's just let's just cut
straight to the point here. They don't like Jalen Hurts,
(18:30):
like whatever, whatever, anybody wants to tell you whatever, were like, Oh,
we're just it's it's these problems and it's that problem.
It's no like there's a problem there clearly in the
locker room with that team. And the problem is they
don't like the starting quarterback of the team. And it's
(18:51):
not that they don't like his style of play, because
the guy wins. So you can't knock that. I mean,
does he struggle at times?
Speaker 1 (18:57):
Of course?
Speaker 2 (18:59):
Did he? Did he have a a bad game yesterday?
Of course he did.
Speaker 5 (19:02):
Sort of the entire team as mentioned, the Hobin Niro
sauce that ran through them called the Chicago Bears, as mentioned,
the ghost Pepper that ran through them for three plus
hours at home, called the Chicago Bears. So it's not
like it was just a Jalen Hurts problem. But the
real issue is the underlying issue that nobody just wants
(19:24):
to say out loud. You don't like Jalen Hurts. He
rubs people the wrong way, you don't like his personality.
He's got a little bit of arrogance to him.
Speaker 2 (19:39):
But just that's what it is.
Speaker 5 (19:42):
And it's almost like everybody's beating around the bush here
and not wanting to say, well, you know, maybe it's.
Speaker 2 (19:46):
This and now maybe no no, no, no no. This
is really easy to figure out.
Speaker 5 (19:51):
You don't like that guy, and nobody just wants to
say that out loud because everyone said, oh, what's you know,
his style of play? And like Diana, he had this
report talking about well, you know, they don't like that
he that he stands back and he takes too long
to deliver the football and he's playing it too safe
and he's not driving the ball down the field. And
he's like, okay, so you want him to take more
(20:15):
chances and more risks and throw the ball into tight
windows so he can turn the ball over more and
then you guys can lose.
Speaker 2 (20:21):
Got it.
Speaker 5 (20:23):
Another report comes out, well, you know he stands back
there and he pats the ball too long, and it
is okay, So here's here's what we'll do. You want
him to not pat the ball as long, so he'll
just throw hope.
Speaker 2 (20:34):
A receiver's there.
Speaker 5 (20:35):
And if it's not a receiver and it's a dB
or linebacker that takes it the other way for six,
then then then we're good. Like all of these little like, oh,
it's got to be this, and it's no. You just
don't like that guy, and he's the starting quarterback of
the team. It's like when some slob pulls you aside
(20:57):
and says, God, my dan what it's my uh my
hip and ow I don't know what it is. Maybe
you know I was playing flag football when I was
seven years old, and I don't know, like I tripped
over this this tree root that was in the backyard.
Speaker 2 (21:11):
It's no, man, your diet just sucks.
Speaker 5 (21:14):
No, Like, okay, like, let's stop going down the path
of history and all the other injuries you had and all,
but it must have been you know, I was brushing
my teeth the wrong way, or I bet over to
tie my shoes and you know I felt something to
my knee. No, no, no, you just have a bad diet.
You eat like crap. You're a swab.
Speaker 2 (21:35):
There's a reason you feel all these aches and pains.
Speaker 5 (21:40):
Because you're ripped a large pizza by yourself and washed
it down with a two liter bottle.
Speaker 2 (21:45):
Of mountain dew. That's why you feel like crap.
Speaker 5 (21:48):
It's got nothing to do with what you did as
a child. It's got nothing to do with you playing
Cops and Robbers with the neighbor and you tripped on
one of the fence wires trying to get away. No,
it's got nothing to do with that you eat like.
Your diet sucks. Nick Sirianni and people around the NFL
and people in Philadelphia are like, well, you know, it's
a it's Shalen Hurts doing this and he's turning the
(22:09):
ball over here, and it's we get we're eight and four,
but you've got this prom No, you just don't like
the quarterback, you don't like the guy, just say it.
Speaker 2 (22:19):
And I don't know if he's a pain in the ass.
Speaker 1 (22:21):
I have no idea what I don't know.
Speaker 5 (22:23):
But it's so obvious and everyone's like looking for answers like, oh,
it's just one of these things. And dude, how many
players only meetings do you have to have if you're
a Super Bowl champion?
Speaker 2 (22:36):
Like how many?
Speaker 8 (22:37):
Like?
Speaker 2 (22:37):
How many?
Speaker 3 (22:38):
Like?
Speaker 2 (22:38):
How many players only meetings?
Speaker 5 (22:40):
And reports of players only meetings out there is It's like,
come on, man, Like the same thing was happening with
Carson Wentz. Like Carson Wentz like, ah, I get what's
going on? Like he was really like, dude, you just
the guys didn't like him. When Nick Foles came back again,
you had players in the locker room rejoice. They were
(23:00):
lighting prayer candles and all these other things. Saint Nick
is back and all the it's like, dude, you just
didn't like the other guy. They don't like Jalen Hurts.
They just don't like him. And so all of this
conversation about what the other issues are and what the
other problem, dude, until you fix that, what do you got?
(23:22):
You have a team that doesn't like their starting quarterback.
Isn't that kind of a problem, Like that kind of
an issue, Like you got guys that are miserable there
that kind of an issue, Like who would why would
anybody be upset about where the Eagles are at? Al
Michael's made the point of the broadcast yesterday. He's like, yeah,
the Bears in the Eagles of the same record going
(23:43):
into it. It's like two different worlds and.
Speaker 2 (23:45):
One of them just won a super Bowl. Like one
of them just won a super Bowl.
Speaker 5 (23:50):
Well maybe it's the offensive coordinators, and maybe it's just
it's like, dude, you don't like the guy who's under center.
That's what it is, and I don't personally, I don't
get it. He's winning games. It's got you know, his
style of playing, he's this like he hardly ever turns
(24:10):
the ball over. He's won a super Bowl, he was
a super Bowl MVP and by the way, and the
other super Bowl he played in, he was the best
player on the field, Like he was better than Mahomes.
He's been better than Mahomes in two Super Bowls. That's
a fact.
Speaker 2 (24:29):
God. But it's his style of play.
Speaker 1 (24:31):
No, it's not.
Speaker 2 (24:31):
You just don't like him.
Speaker 5 (24:32):
Okay, Yeah, we can't figure it out. You know, we're
trying to figure out the offense and the you know,
it's just like, oh no, you just don't like that guy.
That's what the issue is. That's what the problem is.
Maybe somebody there should say it out loud for once
at the Jonas Knocks on x at Jonas Knock Show
on Instagram and you can hang out with us is
always on the iHeartRadio app.
Speaker 2 (24:52):
All right, it's coming up next here.
Speaker 1 (24:53):
We are going to hand out an award on this show.
Speaker 5 (24:55):
It's our TGFG Game of the Week. But first for
all the latest from around the world of sports and
including the update from Ann Arbor. He's the one, He's
the only He's the majestic Sir, Isaac Longkrawn.
Speaker 9 (25:09):
You and I have been doing this for a long time,
but never have we had an item like the one
we're about to have coming up, because after we catch
you up on what's going on in college football, we're
going to have I'm not making this up, We're going
to have a Pro Football Hall of Famer is apparently
(25:30):
not dead after all updates.
Speaker 1 (25:32):
Yeah, that's good news. You don't really see that every day.
Speaker 5 (25:37):
We call those, by the way, tyshirt, we call those
Isaac's items.
Speaker 1 (25:41):
Oh yeah, he usually has one.
Speaker 2 (25:44):
It sounds sexual. It usually is.
Speaker 9 (25:49):
Have you guys been Have you guys been looking in
my folder in the l drive around here.
Speaker 1 (25:54):
I'm just kidding, all right.
Speaker 9 (25:55):
One hundred twenty first off one D that's one of
the files that's in there. Ronically, one hundred twenty first
all time meeting between Ohio State and Michigan and number
one Ohio State in complete command. They've got a twenty
four to nine lead over the fifteenth ranked Wolverines with
six minutes left to play in the third quarter. They
(26:16):
added to their lead just a short time ago on
a fifteen fifty yard touchdown pass from Julian sand to
Carnell Tate. San Today eighteen to twenty three for two
hundred twenty four yards, three touchdown passes, one interception. Elsewhere
in college football, fifth ranked Texas Tech a thirty five
nothing lead at West Virginia four twenty left in the
(26:37):
third quarter. Number twelve Miami holds a thirty one to
seven lead at number twenty two pit with four minutes
left to play in the third quarter. At eleventh ranked
byu as a seventeen to fourteen lead over Central Florida
at halftime. BYU actually trailed this game at home, fourteen
to nothing six minutes into the first quarter. NFL Detroit
(26:57):
Lions four time Pro Bowl center Frank Ragnow, who came
out of retirement Wednesday, has failed a physical because of
a Grade.
Speaker 1 (27:03):
Three hamstring strain. That means he will Yes, Jonas, what's up?
Speaker 2 (27:07):
I was just gonna.
Speaker 5 (27:08):
Is he any relation to Ragnar, the old Vikings mascot
that got kicked out of games years ago?
Speaker 1 (27:15):
I had not, I had not known of this Ragnar.
Speaker 2 (27:19):
Okay?
Speaker 1 (27:20):
Was he their official Oh my gosh.
Speaker 5 (27:22):
He was like their their version of Fireman ed, except
you know, he wore less clothes.
Speaker 9 (27:27):
Okay, he wasn't the No, it says here, he was
not the official Vikings mascot, although I remember him starring
in a commercial with Adrian Peterson once.
Speaker 1 (27:36):
Yeah, Okay, yeah.
Speaker 9 (27:38):
According to this frantic Google search, he was making fifteen
hundred bucks a game, but sought a raise to twenty
thousand dollars per game.
Speaker 1 (27:48):
He won a twenty grand a game according to this yes,
all right.
Speaker 5 (27:52):
I was getting fifteen hundred bucks to look like a
fat ass with a beard and like some weird wardrobe
on what's like?
Speaker 1 (27:59):
What's problem?
Speaker 9 (28:00):
Well, I just think you have to consider the relative
market value. I mean, the San Diego Chicken, in my opinion,
is the one who set the bars.
Speaker 1 (28:10):
So how much was the San Diego.
Speaker 9 (28:12):
Chicken paid per game? And then we can kind of
start from there.
Speaker 2 (28:15):
Okay, well, I mean that's fair.
Speaker 1 (28:17):
Again, we want to know. Well, believe it or not, folks,
that is not the piece they're resistant.
Speaker 6 (28:22):
So all right.
Speaker 9 (28:23):
Earlier today, NFL dot Com and a few other outlets,
not Fox Sports Radio, but a few outlets posted the
Pro Football Hall of Fame cornerback Lem Barney passed away
at the age of eighty purportedly according to a statement
put out by the Pro Football Hall of Fame, a statement,
by the way, that cannot be found on their website
(28:43):
or anywhere else.
Speaker 1 (28:45):
Well.
Speaker 9 (28:46):
A short time ago, Tony Paul of the Detroit News
posted the following quote. Media reports about Lem Barney are false.
The Lions legend and Pro Football Hall of Famer has
not died, according to his sister, who I just spoke to,
Verena Carter. Lem's sister tells me, and I quote, my
(29:08):
brother is fine dot dot dot. I don't know where
this bleep is coming from, unquote Verena Carter Knew sports
media insider and superstar.
Speaker 1 (29:23):
Your thoughts, Jonas, Yeah, good for love?
Speaker 5 (29:24):
I mean, you know, I just hope this doesn't turn
into like a Netflix documentary where you know, this is
like the middle portion and then they find out that
he's buried in her backyard, you know what I mean,
Like that's like, I just I hope this is hope
everything's on the up and up here, because listen, you can't.
You got to be careful with the way things are
reported nowadays. Oh yeah, I'm just hoping it's on the
up and up. But listen, a good you know, they
(29:46):
can enjoy the holiday and not have to worry about
getting ready for a funeral because those are expensive.
Speaker 9 (29:50):
Jonas Knox always seeing the glass half full instead of
half empty. By the way, besides, this is actually true.
I actually did a cursor research into it. This is
the third one one of these involving former NFL greats.
This week we had a false Steve Tasker story, and
we had a false Art Monk story. Art Monk's wife
(30:13):
had to debunk the rumor about him, and Steve Tasker
himself quote tweeted a post saying he had died, with
the caption simply, I'm fine, unquote.
Speaker 1 (30:23):
So there you have it. We mean so false false
death reports coming through. I was just saying that isn't
that unbelievable?
Speaker 2 (30:30):
That's amazing? What are we doing?
Speaker 5 (30:35):
Like how does how does that get out? Like how
does anybody get that one wrong? If there's going to
be anything you get right, it should be whether or
not somebody is still alive. Yeah, Like that's the that's
that should be the bottom barrel. Listen, this is the
one thing you got to do as a reporter amongst
all the all other things we can you can miss
some of the details or some of the but you
(30:56):
got to make sure the person is still alive.
Speaker 1 (30:57):
Yeah, I mean fourteen million dollars signing bonus. Oops it
was thirteen million dollars.
Speaker 9 (31:02):
Yeah, whatever, you know, we'll live with that, but that literally,
life and death matters is something you generally want to nail.
Speaker 1 (31:09):
Down like that.
Speaker 5 (31:10):
How bad reporting is now? People can't even get look
whether or not.
Speaker 2 (31:14):
A person's got a polls. I just I understand. And
by the way, did you know, speaking of.
Speaker 5 (31:19):
Funerals, did you know that the great Andre Dawson owns
a funeral parlor?
Speaker 2 (31:26):
Hike, he's done post baseball.
Speaker 1 (31:28):
I totally did not know that.
Speaker 2 (31:29):
Wow, my favorite favorite baseball player growing.
Speaker 1 (31:32):
Up, the Hawk Andre. Oh my gosh, Paradise Memorial Funeral Home.
Speaker 2 (31:37):
What a name for a dead body. That sounded really inappropriate.
Speaker 1 (31:42):
I'm I'm looking at that right, I'm looking at it
right now. Okay, yeah, you know I'm gonna I'm gonna
file that away for for later.
Speaker 5 (31:50):
Yep. So just a little fun fact here, hey, people,
ready for the holly.
Speaker 1 (31:55):
You know what, Jonas, you can't say funeral without fun
back to you.
Speaker 2 (31:58):
That is correct.
Speaker 1 (32:00):
That is correct, and we were having all sorts of
it here on this show.
Speaker 2 (32:03):
Man o Man, man o man.
Speaker 1 (32:05):
Was that a spicy update from Isaac?
Speaker 5 (32:07):
And speaking of which, the original Louisiana hot sauce is
the perfect balance of Pepper's vinegar and salt wings, nachos
burgers at any tailgate food with the bold, handcrafted flavor
of the original Louisiana Hot sauce. That's Louisiana Hot.
Speaker 1 (32:19):
Buy you some.
Speaker 5 (32:20):
We will have another edition of Do You Care coming
up here in about ten minutes from now. But right
now it is time to hand out an award on
this show. It's time for our t g f G
Game of the Week for Week thirteen in the NFL
and the game of the week ghost too.
Speaker 2 (32:37):
Who is this line made for Fez Houston? With everything
to play for? They could be the number one.
Speaker 5 (32:44):
Seede Ah, so about that? It's Jaguars Titans. It is
Jaguars Titans. Congratulations, you are our TGFG game of the week.
That's a one o'clock Eastern time kickoff in Nashville. And boy,
oh boy, who gives a rip about either one of
(33:04):
these teams?
Speaker 2 (33:05):
But wait a second.
Speaker 5 (33:06):
The Jaguars are gonna be a playoff team and they've
got an outside shot of winning that division now, because
the Jacksonville Jaguars are one of the least interesting teams
in the entire league. I'm sorry, Liam Cohne and the
Duval stuff and all the other crap that.
Speaker 2 (33:20):
Came along with it, like all that is fight.
Speaker 5 (33:23):
He's done a fine job there, But did you watch
them against Arizona. Nobody wants to see that team in
the playoffs, not because they're dangerous, but because they're boring.
I can assure you right now. Let me guarantee you something. Jacksonville,
if they get into the postseason, will be the early
kickoff on Saturday. I'm letting you know that right now,
(33:45):
Wildcard weekend. If the Jaguars are a wildcard team, they
will be the early kick I can assure you right
now because they are uninteresting and the only thing that
makes them more uninteresting is them playing the awful Tennessee Titans,
who are on pacedaff the number one pick for a
second year in a row. So congratulations to the Jags
and the Titans. You are TGFG game of the Week.
(34:06):
Thank God for gambling, because if not for gambling, nobody's
watching this garbage. All Right, coming up next here, we
are going to have as we keep the positivity going
here on this show, we are going to have a
Saturday tradition.
Speaker 2 (34:18):
It's another edition of do you Care? Right here on FSR.
You know how to find me, homie is bees right.
Speaker 5 (34:24):
Here's Lols Jonas Knox Fox Sports Radio coming up top
of next hour a little over twelve minutes from now.
We are going to try and figure out why something's
taken so long in the world of sports. Feels pretty
easy to me, despite what anybody is telling you. We'll
get into that for you coming up here again a
little over twelve minutes from now.
Speaker 2 (34:43):
I'm the friend that's already into math. Yup. I've never
actually done.
Speaker 1 (34:49):
That, by the way, believe it or not, but who knows.
Speaker 5 (34:55):
Man be curious to see what that does to veneers.
All right, so quick update for you on the game
of the day, the game in the world of college football,
which is Ohio State and Michigan. It appears like this
(35:16):
one's going to start getting at a hand here pretty quick.
Ohio State's got a twenty four to nine lead over
Michigan end of the third quarter. I'll be honest with you,
it feels like it's forty four to nine. Michigan's not
really able to get a lot of stuff going. There
is a storyline with this game that I think a
lot of people may have missed. Matt Patricia, defensive coordinator
(35:38):
for Ohio State going back to the state of Michigan.
Not sure if anybody remembers when Matt Patricia was the
head coach of the Lions, eh, you know, left a
lot to be desired, So maybe there's some motivating factors
there for the players who love Matt Patricia and who
love playing for Matt Patricia's the DC there. Maybe there's
some motivation also for some of these guys as they
go back and try and get him a win a
(36:00):
place where he has not thought of very kindly.
Speaker 2 (36:02):
So there's all that to go along with it. But
we will keep you posted.
Speaker 5 (36:06):
If Michigan does make a game of this thing, we'll
have you updated on that throughout the course of this show.
Right now, though, it is time for a Saturday tradition
called this.
Speaker 6 (36:14):
There are so many stories in the world of sports,
and most of them are a complete waste of time.
Dmgre reports, Let's get kinky. Here's some of the big
stories from the last week. But Jonas, the real question
is do you care?
Speaker 5 (36:30):
And for that we turn it over to our executive producer,
who for some reason has been smiling the entire show.
Speaker 1 (36:35):
Bo.
Speaker 10 (36:35):
What's happening man, Well, it's because it's really starting to
come down out there in Michigan. Now it's snow. That
is the ideal football weather that we are watching.
Speaker 1 (36:44):
Right now, right as long as we don't have to
be in it, we're big fans of it.
Speaker 10 (36:48):
Yes, Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow made his return on the
Bengals Thanksgiving Day game against the Ravens and then win. Jonas,
do you care about Joe Burrow coming back?
Speaker 1 (36:59):
I do.
Speaker 5 (37:00):
I was making the point last week that you know,
too little, too late this idea that the Bengals are
going to make a run of this. And I still
don't think the Bengals are going to win the make
the playoffs. I don't think they're going to win that division.
But you can't argue with the fact that there was
a boost that was given to that team. Yeah, he
can't help you from an on field standpoint defensively, but
(37:20):
there was a vibe that was different about the Bengals
in that game against Baltimore team, who, by the way,
is you know, kind of owned Joe Burrow and it
didn't look like that. Also in Baltimore stinks. I mean,
if we're going to be fair about this, So there's
that next.
Speaker 10 (37:32):
The Cleveland Brown sticking in the AFC North, are reportedly
open to giving Shudar Sanders an extended look as their
QUARTERB quarterback one Jonas, do you care?
Speaker 2 (37:42):
No, I don't care about this.
Speaker 1 (37:43):
I don't give a horses heini about your pain?
Speaker 6 (37:46):
Yeah, I don't.
Speaker 2 (37:46):
Just come on, man, like, let's.
Speaker 5 (37:50):
Dude, what's the extended look? Well, let him start the
last six games of the year. You're going to draft
a quarterback next year most likely anyway, So what do
we talk about? Like this is just to make an
uninteresting team interesting and give you something to talk about
because people would rather do that than talk about.
Speaker 2 (38:07):
Some of the other things in the NFL.
Speaker 1 (38:09):
That's all it is.
Speaker 2 (38:10):
That's all.
Speaker 5 (38:10):
This has got NBA stuff written all over it, like
this is NBA coverage all over it. There's a reason
why Kendrick Perkins said that shad Or Sanders, I think
he was quoted as saying is the most influential black
man since Barack Obama. What wait, what you know what
(38:30):
I mean? Like, come on, let's he's gonna start the
remainder of the year. That's fine. They're not gonna win
a lot of games. If they win any and then
we move on to next year and they draft another guy.
Speaker 1 (38:39):
Next.
Speaker 10 (38:40):
Mississippi State students reportedly broke into the ole miss rocker
room locker room and stole a Trinidad Chamblize jerseys.
Speaker 2 (38:47):
And how he say his name?
Speaker 1 (38:49):
Yeah, well, I mean I know that they were stuck
in there.
Speaker 2 (38:52):
It didn't help.
Speaker 10 (38:53):
It will be That's how you'll pronounce it in a
couple of weeks here when like Kevin takes that job
at LSU. But it looks like the student that stole
the jersey a photo of themselves using it as a
bath mat as they got out of the shower.
Speaker 2 (39:04):
Jonas, do you care?
Speaker 1 (39:05):
Yeah, listen, I love.
Speaker 5 (39:07):
A little little petty vandalism from now, you know, every
now and again, as long as it doesn't get too
we're not too over the top. Like, look, you know,
a guy put in Cam Newton's jersey on a Bear
Bryan Statue's one thing. A guy poisoning and killing a
three hundred year old tree that's another. So I mean,
as long as long as we keep it fun and friendly,
I'm all for it.
Speaker 10 (39:27):
Next, Brown's defensive end Miles Garrett isn't just thinking about
breaking the NFL single season sack record. He's thinking about
just how far he's going to take it. I think
he has like eighteen alrighty or something like that. Jonas,
do you care about this?
Speaker 5 (39:41):
Yeah?
Speaker 2 (39:41):
Listen.
Speaker 5 (39:42):
He in the midst of an awful season for the franchise. Again,
he's the best pass rusher in the NFL, and it's
not close. I mean, listen. You know there's some stuff
he does that are kind of weird. He speeds too much.
You know, you should play Georgia if that's the case. Also,
you know, beating Mason Rudolph with his helmet years ago.
There's some stuff he does it that's kind of strange.
(40:03):
But he is fantastic and the guy's a first bout
Hall of Famer.
Speaker 10 (40:06):
Next, the Toronto Blue Jays made the first big splash
and MLB free agencies, signing starting pitcher Dylan Ceese to
a two hundred and ten million dollar deal. Jonas, do
you care?
Speaker 1 (40:17):
Nope, I'm here to tell you right now. Finally, I
don't care.
Speaker 10 (40:21):
Took my kid to sees Utopia two over the holiday weekend.
Speaker 2 (40:24):
It was fun.
Speaker 1 (40:26):
Do you care?
Speaker 10 (40:26):
And are you going to go see it?
Speaker 8 (40:28):
No?
Speaker 1 (40:28):
Absolutely? Is that it?
Speaker 5 (40:29):
By the way, is that the thing that's in the
Happy Meal now is that the zoo took Okay?
Speaker 1 (40:32):
Is that what it?
Speaker 2 (40:33):
Whatever? My kid gets it and wants to know why.
You know why.
Speaker 5 (40:36):
It's not a monster truck. So if that's any endorsement
of the movie, have fun. Everybody enjoy it. I mean
you talk about dominance, it's like a page right out
of the book of one team. That team happens to
be there our tribal We'll get into that for you
coming up here in just a couple of moments from now.
Jonas Knox Fox Sports Radio. You can listen to this
(40:56):
show as always on the iHeartRadio app. You can find
us on hundreds of affiliates all across the country and
wherever you are making us a part of your Saturday,
we appreciate you doing so. We'll be taking you live
here up until four pm Eastern time, one o'clock Pacific.
Gonna ask you a question. What could you get done
(41:23):
in eleven minutes and fifty six seconds?
Speaker 1 (41:25):
Somebody trying to pile drive or water moccasin?
Speaker 5 (41:28):
Okay, leave LeVar out of this, but what could you
get done in eleven minutes and fifty six seconds?
Speaker 2 (41:38):
Because I'll tell you what Ohio State got done.
Speaker 5 (41:42):
A twenty play eighty one yard drive that resulted in
a twenty three yard field goal.
Speaker 2 (41:46):
That's what Ohio State did.
Speaker 5 (41:51):
That's asks you pretty funny because they literally played Michigan
football at Michigan against Michigan and just held the ball
for twelve minutes and eighty one yards during a twenty
play drive and got a field go done. That's what
they did. This has been after the early lead for
(42:13):
Michigan in this game. This has been a pretty dominant
performance and a pretty phenomenal performance by Julian San and
by that Ohio State offensive line. They have dominated this
game on the road at the Big House. You've got
the Ohio State mascot.
Speaker 1 (42:32):
But what was he doing.
Speaker 5 (42:33):
He was doing a big X in the on the
Michigan logo in the end zone, the Ohio State mascot.
Speaker 11 (42:38):
Yeah soever, he ran out there and he totally put
an X over the M in their end zone to
just basically say, y'all ain't coming here. And they quickly
walked in and shuffled that off.
Speaker 5 (42:48):
They didn't like, Yeah, well of course, because well, I mean, listen,
they've got their priorities in line, you know, don't actually
stop the team you're playing, stop the mascot from drawing
and making snow angels in the turf.
Speaker 2 (43:01):
You know, that's We've got to get our priorities straight here,
you have to.
Speaker 5 (43:06):
But this is the whole point of this game and
this rivalry. It's petty stuff like this that's hilarious to
everybody on the outside, but that one moment right there,
Michigan fans will hold on to and remember. And if
they find out who that guy is outside of costume,
that's the mascot for Ohio State, they're probably gonna beat
(43:27):
his ass. But and it's this it goes to my
earlier point, because look, this game's over. I mean, Michigan's
gonna lose this game and Ohio State's finally gonna beat
Michigan for the first time, and however many days the
counter is.
Speaker 2 (43:41):
So this game's over.
Speaker 5 (43:43):
But my point earlier in the show was that's why
stuff like this you look at differently. You look at
this thing differently than you would at the rivalries. And
this hasn't even been that great of a game as
far as from, you know, the the entertainment.
Speaker 2 (44:01):
Portion of it, because Ohio State just I mean, look
if you like old school.
Speaker 5 (44:06):
Big ten, cold weather football. That drive right there, twenty plays,
eighty one yards and twelve minutes by Ohio State. That's
exactly what you wanted like that, that's I love that stuff.
So for me, this works. I'm into it.
Speaker 1 (44:21):
But it's not.
Speaker 5 (44:22):
You know, there's been better games with bigger moments and
more exciting moments over the past few years between these
two teams. But you look at this game, and my
point earlier in the show was you look at this
game differently than you do other rivalries, even other rivalries
in college football. Like I'm sorry, Like you say whatever
(44:43):
you want about the Iron Bowl, like whatever you want
about like, man, look, I covered college football in South Carolina.
South Carolina. Clemson's a big deal there. Stop like stop, okay,
Like UCLA USC up in Southern California, ucla USC can.
I just be honest. I'll say the quiet part out
(45:05):
loud that nobody else wants to stay here in town.
Nobody cares, they don't. They just don't. And whether you
want to blame Lincoln Riley for that, or you want
to blame how bad UCLA is for like whatever, it's
not even on the same level.
Speaker 2 (45:20):
It just isn't this game. The game is different.
Speaker 5 (45:27):
And Michigan's punting the ball with under seven minutes left.
Speaker 2 (45:33):
Down by eighteen.
Speaker 5 (45:35):
Some might ask why, but you know, maybe they don't
want to give up a touchdown and turn this into
a blog.
Speaker 2 (45:40):
You know.
Speaker 5 (45:41):
But there's stuff like that that happens that you look
at and go huh wow. Like the way this whole
thing is thought of is differently than anything else. And
what I was saying earlier is when you hear a
Michigan or Ohio State fan have to really think hard
and long about whether or not they would rather win
(46:02):
a national title and lose to the other guy, or
whether they'd rather beat them and not win a national title.
There's a reason why you have to think about it,
and there's a reason why a large percentage of people
would rather beat this team, either Ohio State beat Michigan
or Michigan beat Ohio State than win a national title.
Speaker 2 (46:23):
That's a real thing.
Speaker 6 (46:25):
It just is.
Speaker 5 (46:27):
It's not applicable everywhere or anywhere else in sports when
it comes to rivalries, but for this one it does.
And Ohio State's got the ball back and they've got
a twenty seven to nine lead after just going on
a twenty play eighty.
Speaker 2 (46:40):
One yard drive that ate up twelve minutes o'clock.
Speaker 5 (46:43):
If this plays out like the last drive did, they're
probably going to punch us into the end zone get
another field goal. But this game's over and Ohio State's
gonna win this game. But you know, at least they
didn't make us sweat it out. You know, they made
us wait, you know, like an hour and a half
maybe two hours something like that. They let us, you know,
(47:04):
like we just we had to wait around like ninety
minutes maybe two hours before to find out what the
result was going to be. You know, maybe there was
you know, at least they were thinking about us because
they realized, look, we got a lot of stuff going on.
There's holidays, there's shopping, there's you know, things with the
family thing. You you got to take your kids to
certain thing like, there's just there's all there's all sorts
(47:26):
of things that people are focused on this weekend. And
so Ohio State taking care of Michigan the way they
are right now, at least they're letting us know, hey,
this is.
Speaker 2 (47:34):
What the result is going to be. You guys can
move on.
Speaker 5 (47:37):
Lane Kiffin, on the other hand, eh.
Speaker 1 (47:41):
Need more time here.
Speaker 5 (47:43):
He was talking with ESPN's Taylor McGregor postgame about what
his decision will be and if he's made his decision
on whether or not he'll leave Ole Miss following their
Egg Bowl win yesterday.
Speaker 1 (47:55):
Can you tell us this week you had not made
up your mind as to what you would.
Speaker 5 (47:58):
Be doing next season at this point, have you made
up your mind?
Speaker 3 (48:02):
No?
Speaker 2 (48:02):
I haven't.
Speaker 12 (48:03):
I got a lot of praying to do to figure
that out tomorrow. But right now, and I'm just gonna
go enjoy these players. I told him last night, You're
going in you're eleven game and all I want to
do is experience joy watching you.
Speaker 2 (48:13):
And that's what I'm about to do.
Speaker 1 (48:15):
Okay, all right, can we just speed this thing up?
Speaker 2 (48:18):
You are fake?
Speaker 5 (48:19):
It is like, what are we doing here? Can we
just let's just speed it up? Let's go like you
already know the answer, you already know. Like one of
the reports out is that, well, he's lining up his
staff for LSU.
Speaker 1 (48:29):
That's what it's.
Speaker 5 (48:30):
Okay, you mean those calls haven't happened previous to this,
Like we we're just doing this now. This is like
when free agency starts at midnight in a sport and
all of a sudden, fifteen hundred signings are announced at
twelve oh one. It's like, oh my god, boy, they
really they really got that thing knocked out in sixty seconds. No,
they knew what was going to happen. It had already
(48:51):
been negotiated, it was over. So what are we waiting
for here? Personally, I'd like to see Lane Kiffin state
Ole Miss. It'd be nice to see for ole Miss
that you could have some you know, continuity, that you
could keep this thing going. It would be nice for
those players to know, like, hey, we're not just doing
this in vain for a guy who's just gonna bail anyways,
(49:13):
like they've got a shot at going to the college
football Playoff, most likely going to be there, and he
can chase a national championship as head coach at ole Miss.
Like I would like to see that, But the longer
this goes on, it just feels like he's probably gonna
If you knew you were gonna stay, you probably wouldn't
need this much time.
Speaker 2 (49:33):
I hope I'm wrong. Maybe I'll be wrong, but.
Speaker 5 (49:36):
You probably wouldn't need this much time to make your decision.
So this idea and I know he wanted to go
watch his son play last night and all like that,
got it told understood, makes sense, love it and I
like Laye Kiffin a lot. But come on, man, like,
like what are we doing here? Like you what do
(49:57):
you want to bet? He's waiting until Ohio State Michigan
gets done and then he's gonna make his announcement, Like
maybe that's what this is, Like, Hey, I want the
stage all to myself. Well, if that's the case, wait
till Monday, let it play out during the court or actually,
you know what, have you seen the NFL schedule? Those
games are awful tomorrow like announce it tomorrow. Nobody watching football,
(50:21):
and if they are, they're just watching it because it's
probably our you know, a thank God for gambling situation,
or they got fantasy football, Like come on, man, I
mean it's like so like but today it's like, oh,
we're gonna wait till Saturday, okay, all right, Like you
don't you don't already have an answer, Like you don't
already know.
Speaker 2 (50:39):
It's just like it feels like a lot.
Speaker 5 (50:41):
It feels like it's taken way too long, and it
feels like we could probably get to the conclusion of
this pretty quick, much like we're getting to the conclusion
between Ohio State and Michigan pretty quick. We've got a
skirmish on the field. Ohio State's dominating, Michigan's getting frustrated.
Do you know how much pent up frustration there is
for Ohio State fans that.
Speaker 2 (51:01):
They're going to unleash.
Speaker 5 (51:03):
They're gonna let it fly every Ohio State media member
that's had to hear it from a Michigan media member.
Don't worry. That's going to play out on shows across
the country. Trust me that this is going to be
like if you didn't want any involvement or had any
interest in it in that discussion and argument, don't worry.
Speaker 2 (51:20):
It's going to show up everywhere. I can assure you that.
Speaker 5 (51:23):
So, fourth quarter, five minutes and change left to go,
Ohio State with a twenty seven to nine lead over Michigan,
and what I'll be honest with you, twenty seven to nine,
it's not that close. Ohio State's been dominant. Jonas Knox
here on Fox Sports Radio, get me on X at
the Jonas Knox. You can get me on Instagram as
(51:44):
well too. At Jonas Knox Show. A lot of positive
feedback here on the show as well too. People really
fired up about what we've.
Speaker 2 (51:51):
Done, even during the holidays.
Speaker 5 (51:52):
And that's the best part about all of this is
even during the holidays and during a holiday weekend, people
are just kind, just really kind about the performance and
us working hard here during a holiday weekend. Matt writes
in I'd rather spend more time with my family eating
my aunt's crappy food than listening to this ass clown
Jonas Knox. Dude is a professional ball liquor and the
(52:15):
worst sports radio has to offer. You know, the people
in charge of Fox Sports Radio don't listen because he's
still on the air.
Speaker 1 (52:22):
Oh man, so good. I can't argue with any of that.
Speaker 5 (52:28):
By the way, like I can't, we don't need to
bring Jonas in.
Speaker 2 (52:35):
Rob rights in this bleep.
Speaker 5 (52:38):
Jonas Knox would need a mental health break if some
lame ass podcaster called you the snatch ho you are?
You failed Lane Kiffin ball washing bleep, Go jump into
four h five traffic in front of a cyber truck.
I'm a little moisture right now. Brian writes in, you
(53:03):
useless DEI bleep, Get back to your bleep. Hacky unoriginal
stolen topic quote is Ohio State versus Michigan on the
Mount rushmore of greatest rivalry in sports? What are the
greatest rivalries in sports? Go f yourself and your COVID
mask you Beta sa Wad at the Jonas Knox at
(53:29):
X at Jonas Knox Show on Instagram. I will post
those as soon as I get an opportunity here during
the next burt A.
Speaker 2 (53:36):
Lot of fans Jonas. You know it's great. That's probably
the in laws. Wait let me see, No, it's on space.
Speaker 5 (53:46):
Coming up next, we are going to tell you about
the storyline that got lost in a move that was
made in the NFL a few months back. And that'll
be yours right here at FSR. Are we the most
metrosexual show in the history of sports video? You can
like me on Jonas Knox Radio. And by the way, Tysher,
when are they when's.
Speaker 1 (54:06):
The holiday music edict gonna be handed out?
Speaker 2 (54:09):
What are they doing? Oh God, I don't care, I'm
not doing it? Why not, Jonas?
Speaker 11 (54:13):
There's a few things I dislike more than playing music
you actually like. Oh man, it's probably playing I love
me some Christmas music.
Speaker 5 (54:22):
Stop just the old stuff, not like the new school
trendy garbage like the old I don't know, man, I
just like some Dean something. Oh yeah, like like the
you know, the the stuff you would hear and go
I remember that back in the day, and it wasn't
even our day.
Speaker 1 (54:36):
It was like our grandfather's day, you know what I mean?
Speaker 5 (54:39):
Like, okay, I mean like, I'm pretty sure they you know,
the guy who wrote it was like Abe Lincoln's Babysitter
like that stuff, like the classics, but even this is
too jazzy, really yeah, a little too but yeah like
that but that era. Yeah, Like I'm not I'm not
a big fan of that song. That song feels a
(54:59):
little bit all that they just sounds that's a little
douchey for me.
Speaker 1 (55:05):
But you know my point, I do like the classics.
Speaker 2 (55:08):
Okay, okay.
Speaker 5 (55:09):
By the way, speaking of the classics, this has been
a classic ass whipping in the Ohio State Michigan game.
Michigan's got the ball. Don't worry. If you've watched this
game or heard us talk about it on the air,
they'll do nothing with it. There's a fourth and five,
two thirty seven left to go there at the Big House,
(55:31):
and Ohio State's got a twenty seven to nine lead.
So what will be interesting to see is Okay, so
Ohio State just picked off Michigan. So yeah, I mean,
and I got news for you. Everyone's gonna say, well,
that'll do it. That's gonna ice the game. Hey, the
game was iced at halftime if we're being honest here, Okay,
so no that this did not ice anything. Ohio State
(55:55):
fans are celebrating. There's two and a half minutes left
to go. I would be curious to see what Ohio
State would do with this ball in Michigan territory if
there's a fourth down, because if Ryan Day has got
a petty bone in his body, he will kick that
field goal.
Speaker 1 (56:15):
Score more.
Speaker 2 (56:16):
Why not?
Speaker 5 (56:18):
What like? Why not let's add a little something here,
Let's turn this in to real bad blood. Ohio State's
got the ball, the game is over. They're in total control,
and they have been for a couple of hours. It's
twenty seven to nine, there's two thirty three left. You
(56:39):
got a first and ten. They're probably going to hand
the ball off. Michigan's probably gonna get a couple of
stops and you're going to face a fourth down.
Speaker 2 (56:47):
You're in the snow.
Speaker 5 (56:49):
This team's been feeding you your heart for five years
about how you can't beat him. If you get this
close enough, kick the field goal. Right, you're at midfield now.
If you can get it close enough, kick the field goal.
I'm telling you, and I don't want to hear any
other I don't want to hear anything.
Speaker 2 (57:11):
You get it close.
Speaker 5 (57:13):
Take the three points, even though you don't need them
because you've been dominating the second half.
Speaker 2 (57:18):
That's what I would like to see happen here.
Speaker 13 (57:20):
Now.
Speaker 5 (57:21):
Whether it happens, who knows. Maybe they're they're less petty
than me, but I would make this a point, especially
with the way I've been treated by that fan base
in this rivalry, especially last year at home, where everyone
thought Ohio State was going to run away with it.
They were like a twenty one point favorite at one point,
and they lost out right like this game has played
out what I think a lot of people expected it
(57:43):
to be. I just don't know if a lot of
people expected Ohio State to run through Michigan in the
second half like they did. And that twenty play, eighty
one yard drive that ate up twelve minutes symbolized exactly
what this game was for Michigan in the second half,
they had no answers zero all right. By the way,

minutes from now. You talk about awful timing in the NFL,
The last thing this team wants to see is the
(58:28):
team they're playing tomorrow. I'll explain who that is again here.
We'll call it about ten minutes from now. So we
were discussing the Black Friday game in the NFL, and
we talked about the Eagle side of it, because that's
really a pretty interesting and fascinating portion of the story because,
as I was saying earlier, everyone's looking around for like,
you know, what are the problems on offense and how
(58:50):
do we feel like what's going on there? Is it
Kevin Patulo the offensive coordinator, and is it you know,
the wide receivers just not able to get open? Is
it the offensive line? Is it?
Speaker 1 (58:59):
Is it?
Speaker 5 (58:59):
No, you just don't like your quarterback, Like that's what's
going on. They don't like that guy. Teammates don't like him,
like what like, they.
Speaker 1 (59:08):
Just don't like him. So just say that. It's pretty easy.
Speaker 5 (59:14):
Like if you were to take Jalen Hurts his resume
and put it on basically every other team in the NFL,
there's not one fan base that'd be like, now, we're good.
Maybe the Chiefs maybe, And Jalen Hurts outplayed their quarterback
in two Super Bowls, so maybe the Chiefs. But like,
think about all the teams that can't get over the hump.
(59:36):
Think about Baltimore, think about Buffalo, all those teams that
can't get over the hump, think about Cincinnati, teams that
have gotten closed but just can't get over the hump.
You need to tell me they wouldn't take Jalen Hurts
his resume. Of course they would. The problem is that
people in Philadelphia don't like him.
Speaker 2 (59:51):
They don't like him.
Speaker 5 (59:52):
The players don't like him, and that's okay whatever. I
don't know the guys, they never know anything to me.
I'll take him as my quarterback. But that's the eagle side.
The flip side of that from yesterday's.
Speaker 2 (01:00:05):
Game is what is happening in Chicago.
Speaker 5 (01:00:08):
And one of the things that I think a lot
of people misread and misunderstood about the hiring of Ben
Johnson is sort of this idea that going into it, well,
he's been hired to fix Caleb Williams, to make sure
they can get the most out of Caleb Williams. And
(01:00:28):
I made the point months ago. I made the point
a year ago when Matt Eberflus was fired. I said, Look,
they can sit there and point fingers and blame Matt
Eberflus all they want, and they can blame that coaching staff,
and they can guess what happened after Matt Eberflus was
fired on Black Friday. Ironically, Guess what happened to that
(01:00:52):
team after Matt Eberflus.
Speaker 1 (01:00:54):
Was fired last year?
Speaker 5 (01:00:56):
You know what they kept doing. They kept losing, and
they kept losing by a lot. Like it wasn't just
a Matt Eberflus problem. The foundation was cracked. It was broken,
and it's been that way for a long time. I mean,
(01:01:16):
they've got a handful of playoff wins since they won
that Super Bowl, Like it's it's been broken there for
a long time. Ben Johnson coming in wasn't about fixing
Caleb Williams. He was about fixing the foundation. He was
about fixing the entire thing. That game yesterday had nothing
(01:01:41):
to do with Kleb Williams. He had some bad throws.
The wind was an issue for being fair, like the
wind was a problem like it you know, the conditions
all that. But that game was about them running the ball.
And I think there was this thought because we've gotten
into this habit of assuming that, well, if an offense
coordinator and one of these guys who comes in, especially
(01:02:03):
you got like Ben Johnson who's got all these gadget
plays and all these ideas, and well, you know he's
gonna come in there and it's going to be high
flying and throw it around and this and that, and
it's like no, no, no.
Speaker 2 (01:02:11):
No, no, no, no, no, no no no.
Speaker 5 (01:02:15):
We're going to run the ball and we're going to
dominate at the line of scrimmage.
Speaker 1 (01:02:18):
That's what we're gonna do.
Speaker 5 (01:02:21):
Like you can look at Ben Johnson and look at
his time in Detroit and say well, look what he
did with Jared Goff, and you know, all the playmakers
on the outside say okay, Or you can look at
what he did in the run game with Jamiir Gibbs,
with David Montgomery, they were dominant at the line of scrimmage.
And slowly but surely, throughout the course of this year,
(01:02:46):
Ben Johnson and the Bears have been dominant the line
of scrimmage. The offensive line has been fantastic. Him getting
there had less to do with Caleb Williams and more
to do with what the problem really was, which was
the foundation, the building blocks, the aura, like all of that.
(01:03:10):
Like you could say, what the culture, if you want
to use culture you want, you can want to throw
that at that's whatever. Ben Johnson had more to do
than just fix the quarterback. Like it's like it's not like, yeah,
you'll work and you'll develop him, and he's got all
the talent in the world. But this team isn't identified
through Kayleb Williams. This team's identified on the ground with
(01:03:31):
how they run the ball, how they're physically dominant at
the point of attack, and they've not had that in
a long time. Well, Caleb Williams, you know his you
know he's not getting sacked as much. Well yeah, I
mean that helps with your offensive line. But also he's
not had this rushing attack. They're doing things on the
ground that they haven't done since that Super Bowl team,
(01:03:55):
Like they're beating teams in a way that you haven't
seen in forty years of Bears football. There's no coincidence
that it's the first year that Ben Johnson takes over,
so everyone kind of expected that when he stepped out, Oh,
you're gonna see Caleb Williams is going to throw for
(01:04:16):
seventy percent and he's going to pass for four thousand yards.
Speaker 8 (01:04:19):
And he.
Speaker 5 (01:04:21):
No, no, no, no, no, we're going to run the ball
through you. And when he made the comment earlier in
the season when he said our goal is to be
playing the best football of the year in December, everyone
kind of dismissed it and yeah, whatever, it's a new guy,
says a lot. Uh. Oh, now you look and you go, oh,
he was right, But that wasn't just fluff. When he
(01:04:46):
told you what his plan was and he told you
about the physicality, and all the AD's like, hey, h
offensive minded guy. Yeah, of course everybody says that.
Speaker 2 (01:04:53):
Now no, no, no, no.
Speaker 5 (01:04:55):
What he said has come to fruition and it was
no long longer about fixing Caleb Williams. It was about
fixing the entirety of that place. And through twelve games
he's done it at the Jonas Knocks on acts at
Jonas knock Show on Instagram and you can hang out with.
Speaker 1 (01:05:10):
Us is always on the iHeartRadio app.
Speaker 5 (01:05:13):
So it has gone final. In ann Arbor for an
update on that and all the details. He's the one
and only, Sir Isaac Goncram.
Speaker 9 (01:05:21):
Indeed, Jonas it's officially final now, but it had been
a foregone conclusion for quite some time. Number One Ohio
State with a dominating twenty seven to nine win at
fifteenth ranked of Michigan, breaking the Wolverines four game winning streak.
Speaker 1 (01:05:36):
Of the series.
Speaker 9 (01:05:36):
Ohio State quarterback Julian saying nineteen of twenty six three
touchdown passes, including this one from Paul Keel's on station WBNS.
Speaker 13 (01:05:45):
Saying, the throw from the forty steps up and shoots.
Speaker 2 (01:05:47):
Out on deep down the middle of field.
Speaker 13 (01:05:48):
Carnal tate he's got into the five and into the
end zone, goes Carnal take fifty yards through the air,
Julian saying to Carnal Tate his eight touchdown catch up
the year, and it's twenty three to nine.
Speaker 9 (01:06:02):
Ohio State Buckeye running back Bo Jackson ran for one seventeen.
Number five Texas Tech victorious at West Virginia forty nine
to nothing. Number twelve Miami won a twenty second ranked
pit thirty eight to seven. Right now eleventh ranked BYU
up thirty eight to twenty one over Central Florida with
forty one seconds left in the third quarter. The NFL
Detroit Lions, four time Pro Bowl center Frank Ragnow, who
(01:06:26):
came out of retirement on Wednesday, has failed a physical
due to a Grade three hamstring strain, meaning he will
not be rejoining the Lions after all. Finally, move over,
Daniel Jones, get out of the way, Aiden Hutchinson and
Dak Prescott. The NFL comeback player of the Year has
(01:06:46):
got to be none other than long since retired Pro
Football Hall of Fame class of nineteen ninety two cornerback
Lem Barney. It all started today when a Detroit area
blogger posted that Barney had passed away. The Pro Football
Hall of Fame saw that report and issued a statement
paying tribute to Barney, causing.
Speaker 1 (01:07:07):
The story to spread to the point that it was the.
Speaker 9 (01:07:09):
Lead item on NFL dot Com. Then, however, Detroit Sports
you Know reporters Tony Paul and Dave Burkett contacted members
of Barney's family, who told them that Barney is in
fact very much alive, with Barney's sister Verena Carter telling
(01:07:30):
Paul quote, my brother is fine. I don't know where
this bleep is coming from, unquote, while Barney's son told
Burkett quote, it's like the boy who cried wolf.
Speaker 1 (01:07:42):
Bleep now unquote.
Speaker 9 (01:07:44):
Pro Football Hall of Famous Stints retracted its statement and
apologized unquotes, And I just want to kind of zero
in on that last statement. The statement was the quote
was it's like the boy who cried wolf bleep now now?
Was that just sort of a misstatement or in that
particular version of the fable, was the boy crying actual wolf?
(01:08:07):
Believe whatever it is. Next Thanksgiving, I want to be
invited to the Barney's house.
Speaker 1 (01:08:12):
That is a cool, cool family who sticks up for
their own back to you.
Speaker 5 (01:08:16):
You know what sucks though the state of journalism in
the world. Yeah, there's that, But also, like you know
when he does actually pass away, now you're gonna now people,
you know, the crying wolf crap stuff. Now you're gonna
have people go Okay, but is it legit this time?
It's like you kind of you kind of spoiled the ending,
you know what I mean?
Speaker 1 (01:08:37):
That sucks.
Speaker 5 (01:08:40):
Let the guy live his life and when he passes,
give him the respect he deserves. Instead, they're like, now
we're gonna jump the gun here, and now everyone's gonna
be like, wow, you know whatever. Wrong.
Speaker 9 (01:08:49):
Yeah, I know you're you know, you're relatively young cat,
But I mean, let's say I don't know, forty years
from now, fifty years from now. What if you're sitting
around retired in your mansion somewhere looking at your Radio
Hall of Fame plaque and you see it come over
that you know on Twitter, if that exists or whatever, Hey,
(01:09:09):
a legendary radio personality Jonas knocks long no longer win us.
Would you would you be offended or amused? Knowing you,
you'd be very amused. That's just a guest though.
Speaker 5 (01:09:20):
If listen, funny, it's funny, but you know, the whole
Radio Hall of Fame portion.
Speaker 9 (01:09:25):
Of that is the funniest part you watch, you watched,
They're running out of people, Honor, I got I got
news for you when I fill in on the Blowtorch
and five seventy l A Sports and I'm working with
Fred Rogan.
Speaker 5 (01:09:38):
We were on about a two year straight stretch where
a guest would either call me Jonah, Jason, Josh Jonas.
Speaker 2 (01:09:50):
Nobody could get my name right. Who is that.
Speaker 5 (01:09:52):
It's not like it just kind of come on, come
on back. It was multiple I'll put it. I'll put
it this way.
Speaker 2 (01:09:58):
It was multiple.
Speaker 1 (01:09:59):
Guess anybody who listened to that show you know who
they are.
Speaker 5 (01:10:01):
And I afforable guests, regulars that I've talked to many
times before.
Speaker 1 (01:10:06):
Man still couldn't get it right.
Speaker 2 (01:10:08):
That's rough, Yeah, is what it is.
Speaker 5 (01:10:09):
Man.
Speaker 9 (01:10:09):
At least they didn't call you boss or buddy. I
mean that's kind of a little more demeaning than just
getting a game in.
Speaker 1 (01:10:15):
Yeah, like one of those hey man, hey bud Oh,
But yeah, I don't like that.
Speaker 9 (01:10:19):
All right, Well, good job on the show today, bud Ah.
Speaker 1 (01:10:23):
Appreciate you.
Speaker 5 (01:10:24):
Pal there he is the great Isaac Low and Cron
with us here on Fox Sports Radio. By the way,
we are gonna have some Knox locks coming up here
in about ten minutes from now, Slim Pickens. I'll be
honest with you, I don't like any game, but I'm
just trying to stay above five hundred, so there is that.
Speaker 1 (01:10:39):
I'm like Mike Tomlin. I just want to stay above
five hundred so.
Speaker 2 (01:10:42):
I can keep my streak going.
Speaker 1 (01:10:44):
Like that's all I'm looking for.
Speaker 5 (01:10:46):
By the way, we are brought to you by the
original Louisiana Hot Sauce. It's the perfect balance of Pepper's
vinegar and salt, wings, nachos, burgers, hit any tailgate food
with the bold, handcrafted flavor of the original Louisiana Hot Sauce.
Speaker 2 (01:10:56):
That's Louisiana Hot.
Speaker 1 (01:10:57):
Buy you some.
Speaker 5 (01:10:58):
You talk about bad timing. One of the teams that's
getting chewed up and spit out from a media standpoint
are the Minnesota Vikings because the JJ McCarthy experiment has
been brutal, to say the least. And it would be
one thing if you know it was just well, you know,
he's a little banged up, but when he's there, he's
(01:11:21):
playing well, or yeah, he's really struggling, but you know,
he's durable and he's dependable and at least we know
we can develop him. They don't have either. He's banged
up and he's also not durable and dependable, and they
can't rely like it, like they don't have the best
of either world, like they've got the worst because both
(01:11:42):
things are happening. He's banged up and when he does play,
it doesn't look good. And so so you're the Vikings
all of a sudden, you're looking around going our plan
going into the year was then our thought process was,
you know, we've got a three year window. We feel
like we've got the roster, we're going to develop this
young quarterback. We've got him on a rookie contract, and
(01:12:06):
you know we're just gonna ascend. We're gonna go from there.
Speaker 2 (01:12:08):
Well, we have some.
Speaker 5 (01:12:09):
Growing pains and this year will be and instead what's
happening is, yeah, there's been some growing pains, but they
don't even have proper time to develop him because he's
not available. And so now people are starting to question, Okay,
so what is the plan here? Because if you can't
even depend on him taking the field and what he
(01:12:30):
does it's bad, then what And so if you're the Vikings,
while all of this is happening and he's out with
a concussion, and you've got all that you're worrying about.
The last thing you want is a reminder in the moment,
all right, The last thing you want is a reminder
in the moment of what you could have had or
(01:12:52):
what you could have been. And so of course the
NFL scheduling, God's deliver them, Sam Darnold and the Seahawks
coming up.
Speaker 4 (01:12:58):
Tomorrow, you know what I mean, Like, oh boy, uh oops,
and listen, you know, it should be pointed out that
it's not like it was just well, they chose JJ
McCarthy over Sam Donald.
Speaker 2 (01:13:13):
No, they chose JJ McCarthy.
Speaker 5 (01:13:15):
Over Sam Donald and Daniel Jones, like you know, like
you know, pick a card, any card, and they chose
one that.
Speaker 1 (01:13:24):
Had a pipe bomb underneath.
Speaker 5 (01:13:26):
Like it just nothing happened, like nothing, like they chose
the wrong guy when two others were there. And there
was some report that I find hard to believe, but
that the Vikings may make a push at Daniel Jones
this scene. Daniel Jones, by the way, he's got like
a broken fibula or some something like that. But it's
(01:13:48):
just if you're the Minnesota Vikings, the last thing you
want to see this weekend is a reminder of what.
Speaker 2 (01:13:55):
You passed on.
Speaker 5 (01:13:58):
To put you in the spot that you're in, because
you're gonna finish last in that division by a pretty
significant margin and you're not close. Justin Jefferson's frustrated, Kevin
O'Connell looks frustrated, and all of a sudden, this three
year window that you were talking about going into the year,
all of a sudden, one of those years is gone.
(01:14:19):
And based on what you saw, I'll ask you, did
it seem like they're anywhere close to getting to a
super Bowl, Because it seems like they're way further away
now than they were a year ago when you did
have the guy you're playing this weekend starting under center
at the Jonas Knox on X at Jonas Knox Show
on Instagram, and again you can hang out with us
as always on the iHeartRadio app. Coming up next though,

dride now.
Speaker 5 (01:15:02):

Speaker 2 (01:16:39):
But right now.
Speaker 5 (01:16:41):
It is time for this. I mean, it's Knox locks.
You know it's supposed to. We got a It's Knox locks.
Speaker 3 (01:16:54):
Lock it.
Speaker 1 (01:16:54):
Let's lock it.
Speaker 3 (01:16:56):
No, damn it, Knox locks.
Speaker 5 (01:17:01):
All right, So let's look back at last week first,
all right, I had a feeling and I was almost
going to say something on the air during last week
that we haven't had a tie yet, Like, we haven't
had a push in any bet we've made this year.
We're twelve games into it, or twelve weeks into it rather,
and I'm like, man, we've never had a push. And
(01:17:21):
of course what happened we got a push. That push
was the Kansas City Chiefs. I took the Chiefs minus
three in that game against the Indianapolis Colts, and.
Speaker 2 (01:17:31):
As it turns out, that was a push.
Speaker 5 (01:17:34):
The Kansas City Chiefs probably should have lost that game
before being fair, much like they lost on Thanksgiving to
the Dallas Cowboys. They probably should have lost that game.
But we'll take the push. It was the first of
the year, and we pushed it all the way to
the other game, which was the Patriots and the Bengals.
I had the Bengals plus eight points in that game,
(01:17:54):
and little stuff went down late on in that game,
and all of a sudden, Cincinnati made it close. But
we're no real threat whatsoever, and so we did pick
up a win there. And then for some reason I
had confidence that the Tampa Bay Buccaneers getting seven points
at SOFI, the world's largest gazebo, against the Rams on
Sunday night football was a smart pick and that was
a waste of time.
Speaker 2 (01:18:15):
So a nice little one one in one performance last week.
Speaker 5 (01:18:18):
That puts us at nineteen sixteen and one on the year,
which brings us to this.
Speaker 1 (01:18:22):
Week Cardinals at Buccaneers, and.
Speaker 5 (01:18:25):
I'll go back to the well, I'm gonna take the
Tampa Bay Buccaneers here. I will take the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
They're minus three and a half now. I'm not thrilled
about the hook. I'm not thrilled about that half point,
but I will take my chances here. I think getting
Bucky irvingback's gonna help that offense. I don't know how
much he's gonna play. I don't buy into Arizona at all.
I mean, it's a cute little story. Whatever they did
(01:18:47):
last week against Jacksonville that was awesome, be forced overtime,
neat But I think the Tampa Bay Buccaneers need to
get back on track. They've got an opportunity to do
it here at home, and I think they get it done.
I'll take Tampa Bay minus at three.
Speaker 1 (01:18:59):
And a half. Texan said Colts. I'll go with Houston.
Speaker 5 (01:19:04):
Daniel Jones is banged up, the Texans are getting three
and a half points on the road. Indianapolis has been
kind of faltering lately. That Houston defense was dominant last
time out. Dre Stroud is returning. You've got all of
these things that are playing into this. It feels like
that division, which was a runaway freight train for the
(01:19:25):
Indianapolis Colts as all of a sudden started to tighten
up Stroud coming back that defense. I'll take Houston getting
three and a half points on the road. Vikings aid Seahawks.
Speaker 2 (01:19:37):
Look, I said it.
Speaker 5 (01:19:38):
The one thing you don't want to see if you're
Kevin O'Connell in the Minnesota Vikings is the guy you
let go because you chose Jj McCarthy. Max Brosmer is
starting for the Minnesota Vikings. He's a rookie. I will
take the Seattle Seahawks minus eleven and a half. It's
a huge point spread, but in this spot with Brosmer
and you've got the Stam.
Speaker 2 (01:19:58):
Darnold storyline and Kevin o.
Speaker 5 (01:20:00):
I think this is a bad year from Minnesota, and
I think Seattle gets it going in spite of all
the other recent struggles. Thanks for hanging out with us
here on the Jonas Knox Show Fox Sports Radio
