Speaker 1 (00:01):
Don't listening to Fox Sports Radio Radio.

Speaker 2 (00:04):
That's right broadcasting live here on a Fox Sports Football Saturday,
Martin Weiss and Monsy Bolanos Here, Monssey, the barbecue has
started in South Carolina.

Speaker 3 (00:16):
The barbecue has started?

Speaker 4 (00:17):
Has it started? What's on your barbecue?

Speaker 5 (00:19):
By the way, Clemson, time that it was on your
barbecue last week?

Speaker 4 (00:23):
You called it early. I was giving you a hard
time about it. You can't sit them fishing.

Speaker 3 (00:27):
After two weeks, the two losses. It is not enough, Barbin.

Speaker 4 (00:30):
I didn't no, no, no, you're right, you were right.
You called it. You called this this last week. What
a disaster.

Speaker 2 (00:37):
That's the big story in college football right now. Will
go around the horn everywhere else. Be sure to check
out DraftKings sports Book, an official sports betting partner of
the NFL.

Speaker 3 (00:46):
Right now. Use promo code Fox.

Speaker 2 (00:48):
Game that's f O x G a M to claim
your special order at DraftKings DraftKings, the crown is yours.
Don't forget. That's promo code Fox Game. And so if
you bet on Clemson, you're bad because you're right.

Speaker 3 (01:02):
I told you last week. It's not the look. And
because here's the.

Speaker 2 (01:06):
Thing, Monsi, this is what a lot of people will
say about Clemson and this loss, We're starting Diabo Sweeney's
career at Clemson, first time one in three since two
thousand and four. Just think about where you were in
two thousand and four and think about now, and think
about how.

Speaker 3 (01:21):
Much different life means.

Speaker 2 (01:22):
All right, one and three for the first time since
then in the Carolina version of Death Valley.

Speaker 3 (01:29):
A lot of people are gonna say this.

Speaker 2 (01:30):
A lot of people are gonna say, Diabo, you need
to get into the transfer portal, Diabo, you need to
catch up with the times the games passed you by.

Speaker 3 (01:37):
And that's true.

Speaker 2 (01:39):
However, this NFL Draft, on the first two days, we're
gonna hear the word Clemson said at least four times.
There will be there's two first rounders on this team,
three first rounders on this team. Like we're gonna hear
guys from Clemson taken in the first and second rounds.
This is not a talent problem with Clemson. Syracuse is

(02:00):
not more talented than Clemson. Troy for the first three
quarters up to that rain delay was pushing Clemson around.
You had student athletes moving other student athletes around against
their will. And then problem was it wasn't the ones
who was getting all the nil money, right, this is
the ones that played at Troy and now it Clemson

(02:21):
saw Dabo Sweeney walking off the field emotional as the
alma mater played in the background. It's over this year
for Clemson. It is over.

Speaker 5 (02:34):
It seems right like it's not only their third game
or fourth game. It seems like we are deep into
the season by that reaction, but it's over for him.

Speaker 4 (02:44):
Maybe in Clemson.

Speaker 5 (02:46):
It's over for Clemson because last week when I was
telling you you're crazy, Martin, now with the college football playoff,
who cares if you lose the first couple of games?

Speaker 4 (02:53):
Who cares?

Speaker 5 (02:55):
But that's the problem goes beyond that because they are talented,
but they are not executing.

Speaker 4 (03:01):
In the plays that I met.

Speaker 5 (03:02):
Kave Klubnick has been mediocre, underwhelming, is that fair to say?
Like all of it very but even their entire offense
like three and thirteen on third downs, one of five
on fourth downs. They outgained Syracusan today's game, but that
didn't matter. And that's what's bad is that it seems
like Dabo Sweeney has already lost this team and he

(03:27):
is like, you hit.

Speaker 4 (03:28):
It you hit on the head.

Speaker 5 (03:29):
He didn't want to get in with the transfer portal,
the nil. He liked to build from within. He liked
to create this culture where these student athletes could be
there a couple of years.

Speaker 4 (03:39):
But now you get everybody's in and out in a year.
Nothing is consistent. And he didn't like that.

Speaker 5 (03:44):
And I think he has seen that. Man, that is
really out the window. And I don't know how to
get the success that I used to get. I was
in Orlando. I'm gonna tell you a quick story. Go
for sitting at a bar shocking watching the Chargers game
at ten pm at night. Great because it's the East Coast.
This woman wants to It's a really big adjustment. This

(04:05):
woman walks up and she starts chatting with me and
the boyfriend as we're watching the game. She has a
great Southern accent. She tells us how big Alabama fans
her and her family are, and she starts, you know,
just ripping on mister divor came ripping on him. And
she says to me, the minute he the minutes started
going bad, I said to my husband, you better open

(04:27):
up your checkbook.

Speaker 4 (04:28):
We need to get him out of here. And that
checkbook is building.

Speaker 5 (04:31):
She said that money to get him out is building,
because that's how that's how much they want to win.
That's that's they are still She's like, we miss Nick
Saban so much because of how he you know, created
this culture.

Speaker 4 (04:44):
But that is out the window.

Speaker 5 (04:45):
And if you cannot have the success that it is
year to year, then we want you out and we
will pay for you to get out.

Speaker 4 (04:50):
They are still that serious.

Speaker 2 (04:52):
Mind you, this is this team is what two and one? Yes,
the Florida State win and managine Florida State just to
keep him for respective Florida State beat Alabama thirty one
to seventeen. Okay, now I understand that East Texas A
and M and Kent State are not necessarily world beaters.

Speaker 4 (05:13):
But but but, no tolerance.

Speaker 3 (05:16):
No excuse.

Speaker 2 (05:17):
The score of the last two games that Florida State
has played, if you add them up, is Florida State
one hundred and forty three opponents thirteen. And that's the
team in Alabama. As long as you say Florida State
putting up buckets.

Speaker 5 (05:30):
Yeah, we have context matters, and that's the point. It's like,
you're not It's it's not just that you're losing it is.

Speaker 4 (05:36):
How you're losing.

Speaker 5 (05:38):
And that is why we saw Dablo Sweeney looking like
that after four games.

Speaker 2 (05:43):
Yeah, I'd say, yeah, it's over defeatd to the defeat,
and you had some line a linebacker from the team
came out and said, you know this thing's not done yet.
You know sure, I mean I feel you know, you
don't want to college date swiftly pass. You don't want
to just completely throw in the towel. But just Dabo

(06:03):
was asked about him crying on the sidelines, he was
asked about that moment he started out his quote. It
was about a minute and thirty five seconds. We started
out talking about, Man, I've been here, I've invested so
much of my life into Clemson football. I've been there
for twenty three years. This is how we kind of
ended it.

Speaker 1 (06:22):
I just hurt.

Speaker 6 (06:23):
I mean I hurt. I mean I hurt obviously just
because this I take pride in what I do. I
hurt for our team, hurt for our fans, and I
certainly feel that.

Speaker 5 (06:36):
Yeah, because it's not just something that he sees can
be fixed right now.

Speaker 2 (06:40):
And that cause again you just to your point, you
can't like transfer in like an attitude, right you.

Speaker 3 (06:48):
Can transfer in players.

Speaker 2 (06:49):
And I think, like the last Jad pikel about this,
the only three college football insider in two and a.

Speaker 3 (06:55):
Half hours or so.

Speaker 2 (06:56):
But the best college football teams that I of the
last transfer portal era are the ones that their basis
is in high school recruiting, their basis is in returning players,
and then they sprinkle a little bit on top, like
Ohio State last year. Oh wait, you mean to tell
me we might be able to get the best safety
in college football?

Speaker 3 (07:16):
All right, I'll call Caleb Downs.

Speaker 2 (07:18):
I mean, I could get a guy who started three
seasons in college football prior and will Howard cool. I'll
go ahead and get him and make that the deal.
And then you look at Ohio State this year. They're
happy starting their freshman quarterback because it's like, we're good here,
we recruited this guy.

Speaker 3 (07:34):
You know what I'm saying. They didn't go out.

Speaker 2 (07:35):
And you know, however Miami finishes this year, this is
the third transfer quarterback Miami's had, you know, year in,
year out. You know, you have to wonder if Carson
Back's archial struggle, what do they have behind Carson Back?
What are they building behind Carson Back? Because Saalem was
there at Ohio State the year under.

Speaker 5 (07:52):
He backed up, what's quest Is anyone really building beyond
maybe their quarterback right now and whatever whoever's on the sideline,
they're not, I don't think you can.

Speaker 3 (08:03):
Well, I think Dabo Sweety was probably trying to.

Speaker 4 (08:05):
But he's probably trying to. But with Miami, like you said,
a new quarterback every year.

Speaker 5 (08:12):
So what their plan is maybe hey, whatever quarterback is
best available, and is that just going to be the
new approach?

Speaker 2 (08:19):
Well, I think that this is the thing about college
football now that, like building a program, I think is
the hard Like some of these programs are already kind
of set, like Michigan is not quite in the same
way that.

Speaker 3 (08:32):
Ohio State is a machine.

Speaker 2 (08:34):
Right, no matter who's coaching Ohio State, the money will
always be at Ohio State. Ohio State is always going
to be invested heavily in winning, right, Like that thing
would just if oh, you mean to tell me we
can pay this much. One of the reasons why I
was excited about Nil is a Michigan fan and a
lum saying, oh, you mean to tell me we could
just pay for people. Well, if that's the case, if

(08:55):
money is a motivating fact there.

Speaker 3 (08:57):
Well, Michigan.

Speaker 2 (08:58):
I actually said this at the time, not knowing that
Larry Ellison would, but I was like, oh.

Speaker 3 (09:01):
You know Google the billionaires. Okay, let's go do this.
Let's let's get this done.

Speaker 2 (09:07):
And sure enough, Rice Underwood, even though they won't let
him throw the ball, ten million dollar quarterback.

Speaker 3 (09:11):
You know, let's see how it works.

Speaker 2 (09:13):
Right.

Speaker 7 (09:14):
Uh.

Speaker 2 (09:14):
But so like Clemson doesn't necessarily have the donor base
that of Michigan does, or like Alabama doesn't have the
donor base that a Michigan does. The people who invented
Google did not go to Alabama, right, they did not
go to Clemson, like and you look at some of
the others, like Texas has this massive donor base, right this,

(09:36):
like Ole miss does not have the same type of
donor base. And so what's fascinating to me is I
think what Clemson needs. What Clemson needs. In my opinion,
I don't think you fired damoswith I don't as bad
as this year has been, you were just in a
national championship a few years ago. And this is a

(09:56):
precipitous fall from grace. But there was a time in
which clem was it like a thing. It was like,
how is Clemson gonna blow this?

Speaker 3 (10:04):
Right?

Speaker 2 (10:05):
Like, how is clemson't gonna blow this? And Dablo Sweeney
is a guy who clearly clearly bleeds orange for your university.
Change up the structure a bit, hire a GM where
you can manage the portal a little bit better, maybe
get some of these nil salaries. Adapt to the times.
But I think at a school like Clemson, you've got

(10:27):
to have a guy who is going to be ill.
I would rather die here than go anywhere else. And
that's what it feels like Dablosweeney is right now and
in today's day and age, if you're a school like
Clemson who has a high football character but low football
resources comparatively, you gotta keep a guy like that.

Speaker 5 (10:46):
So the sixty million dollar buyout, you don't think that has
anything to do with it.

Speaker 3 (10:50):
It has a lot too, But to the.

Speaker 4 (10:52):
Point, he drops fifty seven the following year.

Speaker 3 (10:54):
But think about it.

Speaker 2 (10:55):
Okay, so if I spend fifty seven million dollars to
fire this guy, how.

Speaker 3 (10:59):
Am I supposed to build anything else? How much money
do we have here?

Speaker 2 (11:03):
Right?

Speaker 4 (11:03):
They're kind of stuck.

Speaker 5 (11:04):
They're not They're not in a situation where you have
a better opportunity by firing him.

Speaker 4 (11:09):
And I hear what you're saying that.

Speaker 5 (11:10):
He does seem to bleed the Clemson Tiger orange that
you would want in your coach, But that the way
he shed those tears, it just seemed like he's done.

Speaker 4 (11:23):
I know, I know you're saying you can't fire him.
I think he's like, please fire me, just let me go.

Speaker 5 (11:28):
Well, I think, well that was that just was that
was big to look like it's week four.

Speaker 4 (11:33):
I was invending you last week.

Speaker 3 (11:35):
I think it out through.

Speaker 2 (11:36):
I really do think that this is a team that
had a lot of expectations and he's feeling the weight
of those expectations. Because and to the point, to everybody's
point last week, as you all told me, I was
crazy for writing this team off. They did have everything
in front of them before today, right, they did have
they had, you know, you figure Miamy maybe drops one,

(11:58):
but they did have everything in front of them prior
to today. And if they had ran off some wins,
if they had beaten some teams by forty down the stretch,
like in October, as the weather started to get colder,
as we got closer to Halloween, everybody be like, oh,
they just started slow. It's okay, everything's fine. Like Alabama
last year, they was like they started slow. You know

(12:19):
that game against South Florida. Maybe they're not a four
team playoff team, but a twelve team playoffs they'd definitely
be in.

Speaker 3 (12:24):
That's done now, yeah right now.

Speaker 4 (12:26):
Really, it just seemed just dead.

Speaker 8 (12:28):
Guys.

Speaker 9 (12:29):
Remember how big of a deal it was last season
when Notre Dame went down early in the season to
Northern Illinois I think it was and I and how
big of a deal that was, dropping one game for
a team that had championship expectations.

Speaker 8 (12:42):
Clemson's now lost three.

Speaker 9 (12:44):
Yeah, so its just no hope, zero, that's what it is.

Speaker 5 (12:50):
I think hope the hope to me was out the
window the minute you saw Dabbo Swinger.

Speaker 8 (12:55):
They can't they can't have the resume.

Speaker 2 (12:57):
Now, Clemson has a better chance of being this year's
Florida State of last year than anything else. Besides, like,
they have a better chance to have win, to win
two games on the year than they do to go
on a run and make some level of.

Speaker 3 (13:12):
College football playoff a SEC championship.

Speaker 2 (13:14):
That ship has sailed, however, Look at Florida State this year.
Beat Alabama after that, combined with US margin of victory
one forty three to thirteen total, Right, Mike Norville clearly
hit the portal and hit it hard. That's why I say,
like all lost forever.

Speaker 3 (13:34):
For sure, we're Clemson.

Speaker 2 (13:35):
But this year was over last week and this week
is really over, really over.

Speaker 4 (13:42):
It was over last week. This week is really over.
And I think Martin is right. I hate to give
him the credit, but the Martin was right.

Speaker 9 (13:50):
Last week was Martin calling his shot on it being over,
but it wasn't yet over.

Speaker 8 (13:56):
But now now it is.

Speaker 4 (13:56):
Over, Like the hope is out, hope is you hit it?
I think that's the word. The hope is gone.

Speaker 3 (14:01):
By the record and all of that.

Speaker 2 (14:03):
Sure they had a chance, but if you watched that launched,
they were getting pushed around, they were getting punked.

Speaker 3 (14:09):
They didn't have any idea.

Speaker 2 (14:11):
And I'll tell you what, if it hadn't have been
a lightning storm at the Troy game, I think they
would have lost that one too. But you know, the
early stages of the season can give you all different
types of shadows, like tricks my eyes playing tricks on me.

Speaker 3 (14:25):
Am I really seeing this? It really that bad? Or
is it really that good.

Speaker 2 (14:30):
Yeah, we'll get to that in the NFL section of
this they will get to that question, is it really
that good or is it really that bad? Who's responsible
for the most surprising success in the NFL. We'll get
to that. Coming up next Martin Wis's Monci Bolano's Fox

Speaker 3 (15:41):
NFL is trying to be inclusive.

Speaker 2 (15:42):
Everybody can go on Martin Wis montivillanios here on a
Fox Sports Saturday.

Speaker 4 (15:46):
Are they trying to be inclusive? Is that what it is?

Speaker 3 (15:48):
I mean we can find at least one game.

Speaker 2 (15:51):
I'm sure with the low ticket you can take a
family of four for less than I'm gonna bet right
now you can take a family Fords Fell game this
week for less than two hundred bucks.

Speaker 5 (16:01):
Wow, okay, I will say that is uh off the
lifted ticket price.

Speaker 3 (16:06):
I'm not counting the parking and everything else.

Speaker 4 (16:08):
Okay, just to get in, Just get in.

Speaker 2 (16:10):
That's a good deal to buy the ticket.

Speaker 4 (16:12):
That's a good deal. I hope you're right.

Speaker 9 (16:13):
I actually thought you were gonna say lower, just with
how cheap some of these have been true?

Speaker 2 (16:18):
Yeah, alright, maybe one seventy three. Who's taking the over,
who's taking the under? Let's set it now under mons
goes under one seventy three.

Speaker 3 (16:26):
I got a family of.

Speaker 12 (16:27):
Free, got excited and was right. I got excited. Well,
we need sometimes you just gotta go. It's like I
do do quick math though, because divide it by four.

Speaker 4 (16:34):
Right, So yeah, no, there was some that were like
thirty bucks.

Speaker 9 (16:39):
Right, yeah, no, I hear and a two hundred dollars
for a family of four. In theory would be fifty
dollars a person, but I guess it's cheaper for kids.

Speaker 8 (16:45):
I don't know.

Speaker 4 (16:46):
Yeah, I'm gonna take the under. You think there's excited,
I'm gonna.

Speaker 8 (16:49):
Take the under two.

Speaker 3 (16:50):
You think they're selling kiddy tickets the Yeah, you're probably right.

Speaker 2 (16:53):
That's not a have a matinee price if the game starts,
the starts before doing it.

Speaker 4 (17:02):
Maybe a height ticket, right right, if you're under this side.

Speaker 2 (17:11):
All right, let's dive into this. Because Monsy, you called it,
I felt no. I'll give a little backstory real quick.
I took a little accidental nap around, do you.

Speaker 3 (17:24):
Know what I mean?

Speaker 2 (17:24):
It was like five minutes left to the fourth un
of the four o'clock games. Eagles Chiefs was believe it
or not, not, keeping me locked in wide awake.

Speaker 3 (17:31):
I've since watched all these games.

Speaker 2 (17:33):
When I saw the final score of the Colts Broncos game,
I said, no man, I refreshed the app. I said,
no way, no way. And then when I saw what
actually happened, I was, oh, like, wait, why are you jumping.

Speaker 3 (17:46):
Over the center of fifteen yard penalty?

Speaker 2 (17:48):
That seems a great it's a sixty yard field goal
to a forty five yard Congratulations, you got your upset
pick right. Terrible game management by Sewing Peyton.

Speaker 4 (18:00):
Definitely yes, and a loss.

Speaker 2 (18:02):
For me, but a win for the Indianapolis Colts. We
are two games in, they are two and zero. I
believe in this team, not one bit.

Speaker 3 (18:16):
I think you have a little bit of belief in them.

Speaker 2 (18:18):
I know our producer Ian Roddy has some belief in
them if this continues and to this point, because Daniel
Jones is like second in the league in passing yards right,
only two touchdown passes, but has been playing the best
football we had seen Daniel Jones ever play. Are you
giving more credit to d Danny Dines or Shane stike

(18:41):
in the Colts head coach and play caller.

Speaker 5 (18:43):
Well, obviously it's only been two weeks, so I don't
want to get too excited about the Colts. But I
am going to give the credit to the coaching staff
and Shane Stiken they Obviously, when you are the coach
like Shane Stikeen, your responsibility is to put players in
a position to succeed, you know what I mean, Like
if you're a store and you're bad with customer service.

Speaker 4 (19:02):
I'm not gonna put you at the cashier.

Speaker 5 (19:04):
I'm gonna I'm gonna have you in the back stocking
things and staying away from customer service. And so whatever
they're doing is making everyone successful.

Speaker 4 (19:11):
Give it up to their you know O line, their.

Speaker 5 (19:14):
Offensive line has their past pass protection has been great
for him for Daniel Jones. That is allowing not just
Daniel Jones to look good, Jonathan Taylor looks good next
to him, who is also doing some pretty good pass
blocking himself. And then if he needs to run the ball,
Jonathan Taylor is there, oh you know who else is

(19:35):
also doing some pretty good pass blocking for Daniel Jones.
Their rookie tight end Tyler Warren, who is also able
to catch the ball. It's all of a sudden, the
field seems to have opened up for everybody. Unfortunately, Anthony
Richardson was not healthy enough to stay on the field
and see what he could actually do with this Colts
team offensively. But in the last couple of years they've

(19:57):
had a good O line. They've protected the quarterback is
just the quarterback has.

Speaker 4 (20:00):
Been hurt and so you really don't know what it is.

Speaker 5 (20:01):
Jonathan Taylor hasn't been able to execute because again it's
been inconsistent up and down.

Speaker 4 (20:06):
The first two games. They look good the first two games.
Give it up to the coaching staff.

Speaker 2 (20:12):
And I would say this, I am factoring a slight
bit for opponent. I will die on the store. I
think Miami's the worst team in football will continue to
be the worst team in football.

Speaker 4 (20:21):
That team, I think, I disagree that teams.

Speaker 2 (20:23):
I don't see that team winning more than four games.
I think that is where a number one overall pick
will be. And Mike McDaniel will be probably calling plays
for the Philadelphia Eagles this time next year because as
the offensive coordinated. I think because the run game in Miami,
they have some very interesting things He's do in the run.
And I'm not gonna waste America's time with that. Though.
What I Am going to do is talk about this too,

(20:44):
and oh team, I am really in on Shane Steiken
and his seemingly ability to elevate. And I'm not gonna
say average quarterbacks. I will say quarterbacks with known flaws, right.

Speaker 3 (20:58):
I think when you look at the.

Speaker 2 (20:59):
Lamarge actions, the Josh Allens, the Patrick mahomess of the world,
those are quarterbacks that, even though they have maybe they
may have something you like them to do a little
bit better.

Speaker 3 (21:07):
Those are the guys you're.

Speaker 2 (21:08):
Like, all right, we're gonna we're gonna handle this, We're
gonna deal with this one just fine. But you look
at to me, the Daniel Jones of the world, the
Jalen Hurts of the world, the Gardner Minshew's of the world.

Speaker 3 (21:18):
Obviously, Jalen Hurts.

Speaker 2 (21:19):
Has had way more career success than those other two guys,
but those to those guys that have flaws in their game,
no matter how big of a fan you are Jalen Hurts,
you can't deny that. And I think when you see
the way the change second has had relative success with
these two like these those all three of those were
the most success, with Hurts obviously getting him the job
in Indianapolis. To tip in my cap to him, I

(21:40):
also think this may run out as soon as some
of that exquisite pass blocking that Monci just referenced hits
the injury report.

Speaker 5 (21:49):
But that's what everybody right in that any team is
one injury away from maybe not.

Speaker 4 (21:53):
Continuing the success.

Speaker 5 (21:54):
So I guess I don't want to think that, but
That's that's the simples. That is a simple planet going
moving forward. Can they stay healthy?

Speaker 9 (22:01):
Can I just play Devil's advocate really quick though, just
because if you think about I think I tend to
agree with you guys that Shane Stikeen deserves more credit.
But just to play the other side, think about how
bad they've been the last few years when Styken's still
been there and they've had a different quarterback. That's the
main thing you can point to this year is that
Daniel Jones is now the quarterback, not Anthony Richardson. The

(22:22):
rest of the roster has stayed largely the same. Like,
I'm sure there's plenty of changes across it, but the
one thing that you changed out and swapped out has
now made this big of a difference.

Speaker 5 (22:32):
Yea, I think you're just pointing out that Daniel Jones
is better than Anthony Richardson.

Speaker 8 (22:36):
Sure, yeah, I think, And maybe it's that simple.

Speaker 7 (22:39):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (22:39):
I was gonna say the floor for Anthony Richardson was
so low that Daniel Jones is the definition to me
of a floor razor.

Speaker 9 (22:47):
I think it would show then that Anthony Richardson simply
can't be Uh, what's the word salvaged by anybody, if
not Shane Stikeen.

Speaker 3 (22:55):
Right, all right, well, Anthony Richardson will have a front
row seat.

Speaker 2 (23:00):
It won't be playing to this game, which will be
Indianapolis at Tennessee. But is that the cheapest ticket available
in America? I would like to pull all of.

Speaker 3 (23:09):
My compadres here and I will give you the options.

Speaker 2 (23:13):
All right, First we have Green Bay at Cleveland, Indianapolis
at Tennessee, Cincinnati at Minnesota, Pittsburgh at New England, LA.
The Rams, I should say, in Philly ten o'clock start
for them? You know that body clock?

Speaker 3 (23:26):
Interesting?

Speaker 2 (23:26):
The Jets? No, justin Fields at Tampa Bay. Baker Mayfield
supposed to play in book, expected to go backup quarterback
bole as Washington hosts Vegas, won't see Jaydon Daniels there,
Atlanta hosts Carolina, Hertbridceshang was playing better? Ooh about that?
Houston at the Jacksonville Jaguars, Denver at Chargers, New Orleans

(23:47):
at Seattle, Dallas at Chicago, and rounds it out with
Arizona at San Francisco and Kansas City at the New
York Giants.

Speaker 3 (23:56):
Can I get a poll who has the cheapest ticket
in America. Monzie first, it's got it.

Speaker 5 (24:01):
There's three that stand out. It's got to be either
Colts Titans. It's or Falcons Panthers or Texans Jags. Those
are the three that stood out.

Speaker 2 (24:11):
Okay, do you have your first? You have one in
your honorable mentions for the.

Speaker 4 (24:14):
Rest, only one.

Speaker 13 (24:16):
Susan.

Speaker 14 (24:17):
Jacksonville on the list every week.

Speaker 2 (24:19):
Jacksonville is on the list every week. That might be
a spoiler. Steve, are you going Withston Texas playing host
of the Jacksonville Jaguars?

Speaker 3 (24:27):
All right, Steve, got you locked in Monsey? Did you
make a pick?

Speaker 2 (24:30):
Or you're just gonna tell us where you know you
might want to think about making a pick.

Speaker 14 (24:34):
Houston's on the road for that.

Speaker 4 (24:35):
Right, Yes, the road it's in Jacksonville.

Speaker 2 (24:38):
Is in Jacksonville.

Speaker 4 (24:39):
I'll take that one.

Speaker 2 (24:40):
He's gonna take Jacksonville as well.

Speaker 9 (24:42):
Ian, Yeah, I'm gonna I'm gonna go that Raiders Commander's route.

Speaker 8 (24:49):
Smith.

Speaker 3 (24:49):
No, okay, Mary, do you have a guess? No? All right,
I figured sorry. Let's go ahead and kick over to
Steve de Sager right now.

Speaker 2 (25:02):
We will have the answer to the cheapest ticket in
America coming up right after that.

Speaker 14 (25:07):
As you were talking Colts. They also drafted the best
tight end in college football. That was a nice addition
to the offense as well. Tight End Tyler Warren will
be playing tomorrow after a tow injury. Minnesota elevated running
back Cam Akers from the practice squad. The forty nine
Ers elevated quarterback Adrian Martinez from the practice squad as
QB Rock Purty is likely out with Mac Jones to start.

(25:27):
Denver place linebacker Dre greenlaw on ir Green Bay place
wide receiver Jaden Reid on injury reserve, but tight end
Tuckercraft is expected to play Sunday, but Kansas City Chiefs
wide receiver Xavier Worthy is out again with the bad
shoulder for Sunday night at the Giants. To college football,
the Florida Gators do not have a first.

Speaker 2 (25:46):
Down at Miami.

Speaker 14 (25:47):
It's early second quarter, the fourth ranked Hurricanes leading ten
to nothing over the Gators so far. Weather to lay
at Notre Dame earlier, so they're just now under two
minutes to go in the game. Notre Dame's lead fifty
six thirty now against Purdue South Carolina in the final
thirty seconds before halftime is leading fourteen to nine at
Missouri MISSOO is driving third and goal coming up, and

(26:11):
it's also an Illinois at Indiana matchup with each team
ranked final seconds of the first quarter. The Hoosiers at
home lead fourteen to seven over the Alini late first quarter.
At number twenty Vanderbilt Vandy seven to three over Georgia
State Number three. LSU at home lead Southeastern Louisiana seven
to nothing early second quarter, Number eight Texas up seven

(26:32):
nothing on SAM Houston late first and we will have
an eleven pm Eastern time a game on Fox TV
Number twenty five USC hosting Michigan State twenty first ran.
Michigan won thirty to twenty seven at Nebraska. Top twenty
matchup on Fox to start the day went to Texas
Tech at Utah thirty four to ten. It was thirteen
to ten with under ten minutes to go. Oklahoma at

(26:54):
home got to go ahead TD with about five minutes
left and beat Auburn twenty four to seventeen. Win today
for Oregon and Florida State. Wins for Ole, miss and
Tennessee Georgia Tech as well, but not for Clemson. Clemson
Tigers one and three after losing at home to Syracuse
thirty four to twenty one. UCF beat North Carolina thirty
four to night. Anybody's still talking about Bill Belichick in

(27:17):
college football anyway, now, you.

Speaker 2 (27:20):
Seef social media account is that's the new thing.

Speaker 14 (27:24):
It was I had this discussion with somebody who will
remain nameless on the air here. So, oh no, it's
Bill Belichick. This is gonna be one of the stories
of the season. This is after they're losing the first
game so badly. No, no, it was. It ceased to
be a story before the first game was over. We're done, done,
Moving on. There's other things. Do you know there's like

(27:45):
one hundred and thirty teams in college football. North Carolina
is not one of the few stories in college football.

Speaker 3 (27:51):
Move on.

Speaker 14 (27:52):
Meanwhile, we've got a story developing in baseball as we
hit the final week of the season. Regular season ends
a week from Sunday. The Detroit Tiger lost their fifth
in a row. They've dropped eight of nine. They gave
up two in the top of the ninth and lost
to Atlanta six to five. Detroit will be playing at
Cleveland starting Tuesday. Cleveland getting close in the division standings.

(28:13):
The Guardians won six nothing at Minnesota in the first
of a doubleheader. They've won nine in a row. Cleveland
has won fourteen to fifteen. They hit five solo homers
in game one of this twin bill. The Tigers first
in the AL Central. Who had I believe it was
a nine and a half game lead a week and
a half ago. Down to a one and a half

(28:34):
game lead on the Guardians at this point. Yikes. Meanwhile,
it's the Yankees leading for nothing at the Oriels in
the bottom of the fourth. Aaron Judge with his forty
ninth home run in the AL West, Mariners up one
game over Houston, and the Mariners are leading at Houston
three to nothing. Tonight going to the six Royals ahead
of the Blue Jays two nothing in the bottom of

(28:55):
the sixth. Update on the Guardians. They're winning game two,
six nothing at Minnesota, bottom of the five.

Speaker 2 (29:00):
Back to you, thanks, Steve, and especially thanks for your
soliloquy about the Tigers who made no.

Speaker 14 (29:06):
Moves that some teams just give you content.

Speaker 2 (29:10):
Charlie Morton and the other trade deadline acquisation for the
Tigers have a thirteen r Is that good?

Speaker 14 (29:18):
There would be no no, that would be double the
Dodgers bad bullpen r and that's not good.

Speaker 4 (29:23):
That's not good, So yours is not great.

Speaker 2 (29:26):
This isn't just a game, It's a once in a
generation event. The Harlem Globe Trotter's one hundred year Tour.
Come be a part of legacy that never stops. Be
there when history is made. The Harlem Globe Trotters hundred
Year Tour. Get your tickets today at Harlem Globetrotters dot com.
And speaking of tickets, the cheapest NFL ticket.

Speaker 3 (29:44):
Is in America Number three.

Speaker 2 (29:50):
Atlanta at Carolina tickets as low as forty nine dollars.

Speaker 3 (29:54):
What's the NFA matchup? Number two.

Speaker 2 (29:59):
The selection of the committee Houston at Jacksonville tickets as
low as thirty seven dollars never been stadium.

Speaker 3 (30:05):
At Jacksonville, Florida did well on that.

Speaker 2 (30:08):
And the lowest ticket in America is to go see
America's Sweethearts to two and.

Speaker 15 (30:12):
Oh Indianapolis Colts at the O and two Tennessee Titans
Daniel Jones and Cam Ward a quarterback matchup so high
they said thirty three dollars would be your lowest possible
ticket score, which would.

Speaker 14 (30:24):
Mean I'm guessing parking it's more than thirty two. I
would imagine so under for those who are unaware of
the rams, for example, to park at their stadium, it's
seventy dollars seven oh and it's sold out for the year.

Speaker 16 (30:37):
Yeah.

Speaker 4 (30:38):
Yeah, it's only seventy. I think charges is one hundred.

Speaker 14 (30:40):
You can Yeah, there's also a tailgate area, yeah, separate, Yeah.

Speaker 4 (30:44):
Yeah, no, that's it's usual. Parking has been crazy. Did
I hit all three? Those were the three I listed that.

Speaker 5 (30:50):
Yeah, I didn't get the overall, and we hit the
under Ean and I on the one seventy.

Speaker 2 (30:55):
Three one three times four is one two they could
have taken had another kid taking that kid to the game.

Speaker 8 (31:04):
Family of five, it's.

Speaker 2 (31:05):
The case they wanted to go see Cam Warden and
Andy Dillins family of six just about just about wow
made that happen?

Speaker 14 (31:13):
You mean to go get see Cam Moore get sacked?

Speaker 2 (31:16):
Listen. It's been real bad for the Tennessee's offensive line.

Speaker 14 (31:20):
Anybody remember David Carr's rookie year. That was the worst.
It was rookie and an expansion team.

Speaker 2 (31:26):
I feel like so like this is interesting because Bill
Callahan and Brian Callahan is like the least talked about
Nepo situation in the NFL because nobody cares because it's
the Titans. But the whole point of bringing Bill Callahan
to your team is he's supposed to be one of
those like Dante Scarnekia. We take our offensive lines and

(31:48):
we take them from raw meat into beef jerky and
just turn out tough sun junk, you know.

Speaker 4 (31:54):
And just I've never seen you make a face like that.

Speaker 14 (31:57):
Well, you know, I've never had to try to do
this kind of a little bit of a Harbaugh face.
He actually does that with the offensive jet does.

Speaker 2 (32:04):
Jim Harbough You lose your left tackle? Oh guy, we
had it right tackle. Go over there, Joe, go handle that.

Speaker 14 (32:10):
Guess guess what. We spent a first round draft to
ice on a tackle a year ago.

Speaker 2 (32:14):
And so you think behind the number one overall pick
this year, who's had some had a few moments.

Speaker 3 (32:20):
I think this.

Speaker 2 (32:21):
Touchdown passed last week he should never throw again.

Speaker 8 (32:24):
It will be a scoring It was astounding.

Speaker 15 (32:27):
It was astounding that it was not a pick six
in my especially on that one too.

Speaker 3 (32:32):
It'll be a scoring play for.

Speaker 14 (32:33):
Somebody on a nine yard touchdown pass in the stats,
and he literally threw it over thirty yards from one
side of the field to the end zone in the other.

Speaker 8 (32:41):
Give me more of that, Give me more of that?

Speaker 2 (32:43):
Well, I can I get Can I get a little
vision of Cam Wharton the pocket?

Speaker 3 (32:48):
Can I see what it looks like?

Speaker 1 (32:50):
Just a little?

Speaker 7 (32:50):
No?

Speaker 4 (32:51):
Not yet?

Speaker 3 (32:52):
Can I can we get a pocket? Yeah?

Speaker 2 (32:54):
Offensive lines have been taking a lot of stuff this week,
especially in Cincinnati. We'll get to the Joe Burrows situation
later on in the show, maybe about an hour from now.

Speaker 14 (33:03):
Not the first year for that in Cincinnati.

Speaker 2 (33:05):
I mean, so there's some things that just have bad reps.
His offensive line, good reps. Bill Callahan's offensive lines. I
just want to see.

Speaker 3 (33:13):
Can I get five guys in front of these stars?

Speaker 4 (33:15):
No, you're asking for too much. That you're asking for
way too much.

Speaker 2 (33:18):
I think if Tennessee could block legitimately, I think that
they at least be one in one right now.

Speaker 14 (33:23):
If Auburn could block, they would have won today. One
sack after another at Oklahoma.

Speaker 2 (33:27):
Oklahoma career amount of sacks tend school record, and the
last one was a safety. Ten sacks, a safety, a
safety that made Oklahoma cover two. How nasty is that?
How how nasty is that They imagine you had Auburn
plus seven and all of a sudden you give up a.

Speaker 3 (33:44):
Sack of the act.

Speaker 9 (33:45):
There were some degenerates just staring at the screen begging
for a safety to happen, and they got what they wanted,
which is crazy.

Speaker 2 (33:52):
And that is not a good win. We need to
recalibrate bad Beasts, the last will say on the topic,
because Kyle Van Pelt has kind of ruined Bad Beat
and the way that now fan Duel and all these
places will refund you literally if you if their player
gets hurt. Back in my day, you just lost the
money is called cost to do it business. Now the
rest of this participation trophy gambling.

Speaker 14 (34:13):
I wish this was the case with my fantasy team.

Speaker 8 (34:16):
It's only three.

Speaker 2 (34:17):
Right, you know, the sports book's got stiffer rules and
then Yahoo fantasies. It is ridiculous, but I forgot I
was even talking about that.

Speaker 14 (34:26):
Oh, by the way, the Florida Gators do have a
first down. Finally we can update that. They're start getting
shut out at Miami, but we have one first down
for the.

Speaker 4 (34:33):
Florida offense, so things are looking up.

Speaker 2 (34:36):
That is amazing case because there was five look punting
as opposed to arm punting for Florida, a major plus
over last week. Coming up next will play a game,
bye or sell for the best pregame show every weekend.

Speaker 3 (35:25):
What am I doing? I'm all over the place.

Speaker 2 (35:26):
Steve Desagre will get you updated on everything going on
around the Rod. Sports had a bunch of riperty games,
the Apple Cup going on right now. I think our
producer Ian wasn't sure what the Apple Cup was when
I said to make sure to change the channel onto
that I'm buying that let's see the flay to give
a bias.

Speaker 3 (35:43):
So real quick, what do you say?

Speaker 9 (35:44):
Let's do it all right, let's quickly go over last
week's scores or not scores, but what you guys said,
so Russell Wilson as the week three starter for the Giants,
you guys bought that. I believe both of you looking
really good right now. You guys look smart for that
four hundred and fifty yards passing in week two for Wilson. Next,
I asked you guys the Detroit Lions stock after their
performance against the Packers was pretty bad, but you guys

(36:05):
bought their stock as well, and they looked great.

Speaker 2 (36:07):
They left Jered golf on my bench and fantasies out.

Speaker 9 (36:13):
Why the other one is justin field stock you guys
bought was not not looking at it. I wish it did, though,
so you know, we'll see when he's in a concussion now.
But Aaron Rodgers stock, I don't remember if you guys
bought or sold that one. It would actually be better
producing on my part if I had Wrotten that down.
And then Mac Jones stock as he started in place

(36:35):
a party. I think you both bought his stock and
he looked pretty good.

Speaker 4 (36:39):
He looked okay, he looked fine. Yes, he's in a
situation that he should look good.

Speaker 2 (36:44):
This is this is Mac Jones is the summer I
turned pretty moment. I've never seen an episode of the
show would.

Speaker 8 (36:55):
But this week's let's see.

Speaker 9 (36:57):
Are you guys buying or selling Daniel Jones stock as
this year's reclamation project quarterback?

Speaker 3 (37:02):
You'll sell it is like bitcoin.

Speaker 2 (37:04):
I'll sell it this because the market is crashing. The
market is crashing. This feels like right before the Great Depression.
Whatever the signs were, they're all there. If one of
these guys can't block one moment, Daniel Jones turns back
to what he's been this whole time.

Speaker 4 (37:22):
He's just being a hater. There's no reason for you
to feel like that right now.

Speaker 5 (37:26):
If we in a couple of weeks, maybe I'll be
biting my tongue and saying you were right. But they're
gonna there's no reason he cannot perform at least again
like that against the Titans. So I am buying, and
maybe I'll just mind a couple weeks, But right now
I'm buying.

Speaker 4 (37:41):
Let's go. You're driven, you're dripping.

Speaker 9 (37:44):
Next up the Kansas City chief stock after falling to
zero to two. And take note, this could be the
cheapest you get them all season, unless they lose to
the Giants.

Speaker 3 (37:53):
Witch.

Speaker 8 (37:53):
We'll see what happens, but buy or sell Kansas City Chiefs.

Speaker 4 (37:56):
I am buying the Kansas City Chiefs. I am. I'm
not worried yet. There's no reason.

Speaker 1 (38:02):
Y'all.

Speaker 5 (38:02):
They were in the Super Bowl last year. That's all
they know. There's no reason to panic. I'm not saying
that the panic button has not not moved in my vicinity.

Speaker 4 (38:11):
I'm just saying I'm not hitting it. It's just moved
in my vicinity. I'm just looking at it. I just
know it's there. I just know it's there.

Speaker 2 (38:17):
I disagree with your second part. I think the lowest
point to buy Kansas City stock will be next week.

Speaker 3 (38:23):
Next week, I think they win a close one here.

Speaker 2 (38:26):
I will buy their stock next.

Speaker 3 (38:28):
Week because it's gonna go.

Speaker 2 (38:29):
They will win close and get more stuff than they
did for losing the first two.

Speaker 9 (38:34):
A very A very Uh what's what's the word I'm
looking for? Smart Wall Street investment A little bit.

Speaker 4 (38:40):
It sounds that way. It sounds away Jared on his bench.
So let's let's not forget that. Yeah.

Speaker 9 (38:47):
Next up, buy or sell Shoulder Sanders seeing the field
this year as the Browns have started, Oh and two, Oh.

Speaker 2 (38:54):
I'm buying this. I'd buy this. Yeah, I'm taking them
out a loan to buy this, just for no other reason.
But Joe Flacco is old and will get hurt. Dylan
Gabriel is too small of them will get hurt. There's
nobody left in the room.

Speaker 3 (39:07):
There's nobody left in a room.

Speaker 4 (39:08):
I mean, it seems the logical answer. Yes, yeah, we're
buying one. There's no reason why this is not happening.
There's no reason.

Speaker 9 (39:16):
Next up, Jadeen Daniels stock, as he's now set to
miss week three with an injury. And let me remind
you guys that coming out as a prospect, one big
concern with him was how he would hold up against
NFL level physicality. He's now ruled out for week three.
He missed some time in his rookie year. You guys
buying or selling Jayden Daniels with his long term health.

Speaker 3 (39:35):
I am selling Joe, I.

Speaker 4 (39:39):
Hear you.

Speaker 2 (39:39):
I don't want to sell his long term health, but
I will sell stock as of right now because his
stock was so odd after last year, people like dark
horse m VP candidate command there could be the Super
Bowl team if that had a better defense.

Speaker 3 (39:52):
I'm like, well, it's been seventeen games. If that yeah, whoa, whoa,
whoa whoa.

Speaker 4 (39:57):
Yeah, No, I'm with you.

Speaker 5 (39:58):
We are absolutely selling that because he's gonna face some
tough defense defenses Like I know the Raiders are coming Falcons,
but then you got the Chargers, Bears, Cowboys, Chiefs, and
that's just to get to the second part of the season.

Speaker 4 (40:10):
No, no, no selling, that's gonna be.

Speaker 5 (40:12):
It's gonna be an interesting couple of games to see
what the Commanders can do with Jayden Daniels half her
or not.

Speaker 8 (40:18):
We'll see next up. Ashton genty Stock. Yeah, so the
top ten NFL draft pick.

Speaker 9 (40:24):
He's only rushing for two point seven yards per carry
right now, So what do you guys think?

Speaker 4 (40:28):
Here's to go learn how to pass block for his quarterback.
He can learn from Jonathan Taylor and Tyler Warren on
the Colts.

Speaker 2 (40:34):
I am that sounds like a frustrated fantasy owner. I
am buying one percent. That kid has juice. That kid, Look,
he doesn't matter if he's two yards, He's got two
yards this year before contact block for the boy you're
drafting them six play.

Speaker 1 (40:58):
Listening to Fox Sports Radio.

Speaker 2 (41:01):
That's right, and we're broadcasting live from the Fox Sports
Radio studios. Which one of these undefeated teams is more vulnerable?
Which guy who has the only zero was in the
lost column? Looks like they may have some zeros on
that roster, and we'll get to that in just a minute.

Speaker 2 (41:35):
Monte, I don't know if you've ever personally taken this flight,
but I have LA to Philadelphia.

Speaker 3 (41:40):
It's far.

Speaker 2 (41:41):
It is far. What do you mean it's long? Like
it's a long flight, it's like six hours and you
get off You're like, I'm still in the same country.

Speaker 3 (41:48):
This is ridiculous.

Speaker 4 (41:49):
It's like going to New York.

Speaker 3 (41:51):
New York's like six hours again, far, very fun.

Speaker 2 (41:55):
And so that's what the rams have to do, is
they left from lax or wherever they fly private from
Imagine to go all the way out there to Philadelphia
to face the defending Super Bowl champions and a game
which you know, ten am local body clock start for
the Rams players, one o'clock kick for everybody else in

(42:16):
the East Coast side of things. And this is a
rematch of the Visional Round game that we saw Philly
play and really the biggest challenge that Philadelphia had all postseason. Bonci,
what do you think are which one of these two
and oh teams? Both of these teams undefeated? Here? Who
has the leg up in this matchup? But also to me,

(42:39):
I want to I want to know who has the
biggest weakness on either one of these teams.

Speaker 5 (42:44):
I'm like kind of still choking. You saw me choking
a couple of seconds going on cook. Yeah, no, I
was ready to cook. But I might start choking again.
I think I'm okay, all right, So.

Speaker 3 (42:53):
Because like the Rams did in the fourth quarter of
the playoff.

Speaker 5 (42:56):
Yeah little bit, you know, going into this matchup, I
like the Rams to pull this upset off because of
how early it is in the season.

Speaker 4 (43:08):
I trust Sean McVay over Nick Sirianni on what I
think is going to be a kind of ugly game.
I don't think we're gonna see a pretty game.

Speaker 5 (43:20):
I think we're gonna see kind of a lot of
a nasty offense and some good defense, a little bit
of offense on both sides. But I think the Rams
pulled this one off because of how early it is.
The Eagles are missing key players from last season. They're
two victories against tough teams, and not by a big

(43:42):
margin of victory, but they want it and that's what matters.
I feel like the Eagles are not in a stride
where I'm comfortable them facing a team that is so
well coached and a well oiled machine that is the Rams.
And I'm not high on the Rams, you know what

(44:04):
I'm saying. I'm just high on the Rams in this
particular matchup, sure, and I think they pull off the upset.

Speaker 2 (44:12):
So for me here the Eagles, to me, the way
the Eagles have been moving makes no sense for me,
honestly to the end of last year, right though, like
AJ Brown reading the book on the sidelines. Honestly, Nick
Sirianni shaved his head last year, shaved his head bald.

Speaker 3 (44:30):
When has that ever worked for anyone?

Speaker 4 (44:33):
Asked Brittany, Right.

Speaker 2 (44:35):
Leave Sterriani alone, leave Siriani alone. Right, but seriously, Nichiana
shaved his head last year, bald, a move that has
a zero percent success rate. Except for this, AJ Brown
is reading self help books on the sideline because he's
trying to stay locked in when he's not getting the
ball right.

Speaker 3 (44:54):
This team, they won games. They had some luck along
the way.

Speaker 2 (44:58):
I feel like with Washington getting through out of the
line lines with so many defensive injuries, and then Kansas
City fell apart in the Super Bowl. Hey, congratulations, things
have to fall in your way for you to win
Super Bowls. You have to be good and you also
have to be lucky. I am not taking that away
by any stretch of the imagination. However, winning is the
most effective makeup that you will ever find, and I

(45:19):
think that right now. The club lights are starting to
come on for the Philadelphia Eagles.

Speaker 3 (45:24):
It's starting. The club lights are starting to turn off.

Speaker 4 (45:26):
I'm just curious what this team is going to look
like in.

Speaker 5 (45:28):
A few weeks, the Eagles, That's what I'm curs. In
the offenses of questions. AJ Brown has thirty five yards
on the season.

Speaker 3 (45:37):
Thirty five yards, uh three that ten and one third
yard per game or something like that.

Speaker 4 (45:46):
That is not great.

Speaker 5 (45:47):
I think we've all seen the graphic that apparently Jalen
Hurts is the only quarterback that hasn't thrown for a
touchdown pass over ten yards or something like that.

Speaker 2 (45:53):
No, no, no, no, no, no no no, you're conflating to
make it. Don't worry, I got got it. Hurts is
you have to throw a single touch down pass. Oh,
he is also yet to complete a pass in between
ten and nineteen.

Speaker 3 (46:05):
Thank you.

Speaker 2 (46:05):
It means Jalen Hurts as more toush push attempts than
attempts ten to nineteen. Oh, then attempts uh ten yards
are further down the field by a multitude or by multiples,
by multiples, just like three times the amount of Tousch
push attempts than he does throws longer than ten yards
down the field.

Speaker 5 (46:25):
And then positive Sean McVay is like, perfect, We're going
to dive into that, We're going to push those limits
because their offense. I just I just don't know what
team we're going to see in a couple of weeks,
and I don't know what team I'm going to see tomorrow,
and I think the Rams right now have more.

Speaker 4 (46:39):
Of an identity. Is that crazy to say?

Speaker 3 (46:41):
Now? I think the Eagles have a strong identity. However,
that identity took a major hit.

Speaker 2 (46:48):
Like I said, last call came. The club lights have
come on for the Philadelphia Eagles. Because last call came
when Tom Brady and then Dean Blandino after him, God
blessed the both of you for doing the little work.

Speaker 3 (47:00):
Tom Brady said, that's a false start.

Speaker 2 (47:03):
When the Eagles jumped on that on that touch push,
and then Dean Blandino said, you know what, I threw
my hands up. I'm done with this play. I'm done
with this play. I'll tell you turn off the lights.
The party's over. That lack of the unability to do
the touch push combined with the fact as you I'll say,
I'm in a different Jalen hurts two hundred and fifty

(47:23):
three yards through two games on forty five attempts.

Speaker 3 (47:29):
Oh that's great, Well, I'm sure Saquon is playing.

Speaker 2 (47:31):
Saquon is averaging three and a half yards of carry
in two games.

Speaker 3 (47:37):
The Eagles have won these games.

Speaker 2 (47:39):
Last year, the Eagles were winning games because they were
mollywopping people.

Speaker 4 (47:43):
Oh yeah, it's a lot of question.

Speaker 2 (47:45):
It's a lot easier for aj Brown to sit up
in front of the locker and say, you know what, hey,
we won. What am I supposed to complain about? We
were literally up by thirty five points?

Speaker 3 (47:57):
Right? But this is not what's going on now.

Speaker 2 (47:59):
The Eagles are dancing on the margins unless that passing
offense becomes something that is an actual threat, an actual
worry that the club lights are on, we see what
you really look like, Philadelphia. I like the Rams in
this spot a ton and I think for the long term,
Philly's offense could be their achilles heel. The long term,

(48:20):
the rams Achilles hill is going to be their age.
They depend so much on the offensive side of the
ball on these older players like Matthew Stafford, Devonte Adams
and Tyler Higby and so on.

Speaker 3 (48:31):
Tyler Higgins not that old, but he's been nicked up
a bunch.

Speaker 2 (48:33):
Kyra Williams is young but has a lot of miles
on just in his NFL career. I think that they
will be eventually, you know, kind of end up in the.

Speaker 4 (48:41):
Cole To, but not right now.

Speaker 2 (48:43):
Right in Week three, the Rams are gonna be ready
for this game. Jared versus gonna be ready for this game.
Jalen Hurts is not going to be able to shit
back in the pocket for four minutes and then decide
I want to be meep and run out.

Speaker 5 (48:54):
I don't see I'm with you. I don't see that happening.
I see the Rams pulling this one off, and it's
I don't think it's gonna be pretty though, on either side.
Because as good as Matthew Stafford can be in the pocket,
we all know his age and we all know his injury,
his history. Anything can happen, Anything can happen.

Speaker 2 (49:14):
You know.

Speaker 5 (49:14):
He can be a little stiff. But he has more
offensive weapons than Jalen Hurts right now.

Speaker 3 (49:20):
Well, the Rams do. The Rams do, though I disagree.
I think the Eagles have more offensive weapons.

Speaker 4 (49:26):
However, they can.

Speaker 3 (49:28):
YEA, if you go pull out of gun, you better
be ready to use it.

Speaker 2 (49:31):
Yeah, And the Eagles are just out there with bazookas
on either side of their shoulders, and it's like, you
know what, Yeah, don't be wrong. The Rams definitely have weapons.
I'm not denying that weapon. But a J Brown is
to me a top four.

Speaker 4 (49:47):
Receiver in the League, of course, of course, Yeah, and.

Speaker 3 (49:50):
The non Jefferson Chase the vision He's right there.

Speaker 4 (49:54):
They're just non existent right now through the first two weeks.

Speaker 2 (49:56):
Devonte Smith probably what somewhere but number two on this team.
I don't think he's a solid number one everywhere, but
a number one a lot of places. Probably somewhere ranks
between like the fifteenth and twenty fifth best wide receiver
in the game. Like I would think he's very good, Dallas,
very good. Saquan is you know, specially is Everything's the same?

Speaker 4 (50:16):
Yeah, yeah, yeah, Fante Smith has nine targets on the season.

Speaker 5 (50:20):
Your face, your face, your face. Think about nine targets
on the season for sixty nine yards.

Speaker 2 (50:27):
Think if your if your romantic partner only messaged you
nine times throughout the week, how would that make you feel?

Speaker 3 (50:35):
You know what I'm saying, Like just nine times the
weak you know what?

Speaker 2 (50:39):
All right? Got ye?

Speaker 3 (50:42):
I guess it was a good morning. You know.

Speaker 2 (50:44):
He takes me back after that day that.

Speaker 3 (50:50):
Nine targets, nine targets like, and I.

Speaker 2 (50:54):
Don't know nobody cares about fantasy football.

Speaker 4 (50:57):
Yeah, and I know you do if you have AJ Brown.

Speaker 2 (50:59):
Well, AJ Brown and O Mari and Anton Welcome to
Martin Weiss's team, But like, sincerely, if you're a wide
receiver and you have gotten if AJ Brown, if Devonte
Spens has nine targets, AJ Brown might even have less.
He can have more than ten because he only had

(51:21):
won the whole first game, and I think he has
seven catchers or six catches in game two, but combined,
without combined both of those receivers having less than twenty
five targets in two games, it's to me offensive malpractice.
Like we talked about the Raiders in the buy or so,

(51:43):
and I know it's a big conversation about whether or
not asking Gent.

Speaker 3 (51:46):
Is he boss?

Speaker 2 (51:47):
Has he done that? He's top five in the league
and carries, he's getting opportunities.

Speaker 3 (51:53):
Could things be looking a lot better? Sure?

Speaker 2 (51:56):
Absolutely, But it's not like he's not like what like
it's offensive out practice that this much money tied up
in your wide receivers and not use them.

Speaker 5 (52:06):
Unfortunately, though, for the Eagles and Fordmante Smith or AG Brown,
can you complain when you just won the Super Bowl?

Speaker 4 (52:13):
Or can you be upset like you.

Speaker 3 (52:15):
Can't see here's the thing.

Speaker 2 (52:16):
I think.

Speaker 3 (52:18):
That's the thing.

Speaker 2 (52:19):
They did already win the Super Bowl.

Speaker 4 (52:21):
That's what I'm saying, that's.

Speaker 2 (52:22):
Why I think the level of complaint can grow because
we've already achieved the goal. And that's one of the
reasons why I didn't like the way that Philadelphia started
the year saying, oh, you know, what do you mean,
banner raising? We won't even be out there for that.
This is a whole new Year's, whole new season, because
I do think that there should be a level of

(52:42):
equity that's built up. But when AJ Brown comes out
and puts out that piece and the Player's Tribune or
wherever it was, where he's like, I get my joy
out of football out of dominating my matchup. I get
my joy out of football by making the other cornerback
feel like desolate.

Speaker 3 (52:57):
And I'm paraphrasing here, but.

Speaker 2 (53:00):
Basically he's like, I like to put the other cornerback
into depression, into a dark room where he all he
does is cry because he knows I can't do anything
with AJ Brown's on the other side of things. And
right now, all AJ Brown is looking, he's getting a
lot of cardio, he's not dominating his matchups, and you
know what, the cornerback on the other side is saying,
it doesn't matter if you beat me because he's not
throwing you the ball and AJ Brown is sitting that's

(53:22):
why he's reading self help books.

Speaker 5 (53:23):
On the sideline, which listen, I don't I don't love
that whole, you know way of looking at it, because
in football, that's not It's a team sport for a reason.

Speaker 4 (53:33):
But they won and you're also two and oh? How
much equy do you have to complain right now? You're
two and oh?

Speaker 3 (53:40):
They're two and o. But to me again, if Travis Kelsey.

Speaker 5 (53:44):
The basic, just basic, keep it real basic. You are
two and oh and you just won the Super Bowl last.

Speaker 2 (53:50):
Year there were what nine and one when and just
fresh off of beating the Carolina Panthers and A. J.
Brown said we need to work on our passing.

Speaker 4 (54:00):
Maybe say that again and see what happens.

Speaker 9 (54:02):
Well, guys, just going back to the Devonte Smith nine
targets on the season thing, I just wanted to look
and just compare the other side of things. On the
Rams side, Davante Adams had thirteen targets last week, Dad,
because they going to throw the ball, and Devonte Smith
has nine on the season. Pooka Akua had eleven targets
in Week one. He had nine last week. So that's
Nikua has twenty targets on the season to DeVante Smith's

(54:25):
nine and aj.

Speaker 2 (54:26):
If just some numbers, Vantia has nine, then AJ can't
have more than eleven.

Speaker 4 (54:30):
Nah, they both have nine targets actually.

Speaker 2 (54:33):
So eighteen. So Pooka Akua has more total targets than
all of the ram all of the Eagles wide receivers
in general.

Speaker 5 (54:40):
Yeah, I just didn't mad yeah, yea, yeah, yeah, they
both had nine targets.

Speaker 4 (54:43):
One has a seven receptions and the other one has six.

Speaker 9 (54:45):
I don't know about all Eagles receivers, but if you combine,
if you combine AJ Brown and DeVante Smith, yes, Pooka
Akua alone has more targets.

Speaker 3 (54:52):
Well, how many targets is John?

Speaker 2 (54:54):
That's a guy because he's got the one forty yard
catch or fifty yarks.

Speaker 1 (54:57):
Well, if you.

Speaker 9 (54:58):
Combine those two guys, that's like eight team, which is
two less than Puka. And I feel like John probably
has like three.

Speaker 4 (55:03):
I'll tell you right now, Johan has three targets.

Speaker 9 (55:06):
There you go four four, four, But even then it's
like two more than Puka Akua does.

Speaker 2 (55:12):
Lord a mercy, yeah, hot take. The Eagles are gonna
have to throw the ball to win more games. So
I don't think the answer for me is going to
be Philadelphia here. But we'll get Monzi's answer in just
a moment. Which Twoe O NFL team do you believe
the most in We'll get to that in just a moment.

Speaker 3 (56:15):
I'm just early.

Speaker 2 (56:16):
I'm not wrong.

Speaker 3 (56:17):
I'm just early, so weren't with the Colts.

Speaker 2 (56:20):
Listen again, it's still really, it's still all right.

Speaker 9 (56:27):
Be careful though, Montsy, because now if the Colts don't
win the Super Bowl, he's he's gonna I didn't.

Speaker 5 (56:33):
Go please, I'm not saying they're winning the super Bowl.
That's not what I'm saying at all.

Speaker 2 (56:36):
I will say this, the the Cults relative to the
rest of the AC South have looked like real true
division contenders relative to the rest of the a SC South.
You gotta love Liam Cohen and Trevor Lawrence with their
little in the chest, Trevor and Trevor Lawrence with the

(56:56):
girl get out of here.

Speaker 4 (56:58):
I know it was very What am I thinking of
New York Knicks player with.

Speaker 2 (57:08):
Thank you good job?

Speaker 7 (57:09):
Me?

Speaker 4 (57:11):
Knew exactly what I was talking about.

Speaker 5 (57:13):
After all that, after all that, Yeah, all the sassiness
was there, Oh it was there.

Speaker 3 (57:18):
Things going well so far in Jacksonville. Things also going well.

Speaker 2 (57:21):
In Chicago, as their practice habits are not up to stuff.
According to Ben Johnson, who I'll remind you, in day
one of training camp pulled his team off the field.
Maybe if they had practiced day one, they wouldn't have
got those practice habits up the championship stuff. But let's
take attention to the winners thus far, the teams that
have yet to lose a game. Moncie, I want to
know which one of these two and oh teams you

(57:42):
believe in the most.

Speaker 3 (57:44):
Here are your contending options.

Speaker 4 (57:46):
Give me the contender.

Speaker 2 (57:47):
The Buffalo Bills are technically three and oh. The Los
Angeles Chargers with Jim Harbaugh, the Cincinnati Bengals sub Joe
Burrow for the with turf toe, which.

Speaker 3 (57:58):
Again I said last with turf toe.

Speaker 2 (58:00):
Rebreak it really it really does, all right, yo or
Anthianapolis calls with Daniel Jones at two n O, the
Eagles two and O, the forty nine Ers Packers, and
Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

Speaker 3 (58:12):
Of the following, which team do you most believe in?

Speaker 9 (58:17):
Ye?

Speaker 5 (58:18):
I hate to say this because I don't I don't
want to jinx my team, but right now I'm feeling
really high on my Chargers and everything I've seen so far.
And here's the thing, I don't want to get too
far ahead of myself because I was screaming down the
halls not long ago. I'm going to the Super Bowl
you know what I'm saying, because I thought they were
also looking pretty good at the end of the season
last year. Sure, but they do look really complete right now.

(58:42):
Their defense looks really good. Justin Herbert looks really comfortable.
And I think the Chargers are a legit two to
zero team right now, that they're like the best ones.

Speaker 2 (58:56):
The thing that's the scariest for me about the Los
Angeles Chargers, now I agree with you, is it the game.
It's the fact that the run game hasn't popped off. Yes, yes,
and they are still two and oh. Yes, they're still
two and oh in the division, and they are there
are points of force for points allowed there plus seventeen.

Speaker 3 (59:15):
And if you told me that the Chargers.

Speaker 2 (59:21):
Like Jim Harbaugh talks about Justin Herbert the way that
newlyweds talk about each other, like missus Harball gets jealous
about the way that Jim Harbaugh talks about Justin Herbert.
I think I bet Justin Herbert to win the MVP
earlier this week. He's got the fourth best odds. I

(59:41):
think that this is a season in which this Chargers team,
I don't know what they're doing the playoffs. I don't
know how the post season will go. But I'm looking
at a Chargers team that's right now too. And oh
over the Chiefs who are also now zeroing to Raiders
one and one, and they look like they're going to
be a week two week team. And the Broncos, I
think they probably we also should be two and oh,

(01:00:01):
but hey, that's not how the game works, right, That's
not how the game works.

Speaker 3 (01:00:05):
And the Chargers, now.

Speaker 2 (01:00:05):
With that leg up and that quarterback and that head
coach and the way he leans into the quarterback, I
think that as long as he can stay upright, which
I do not expect Justin Herbert to get hurt behind
that offensive line, that's incredible. The thing that they do
run Herbert a bit more than you'd like as a
faction of not being able to run the ball. But

(01:00:27):
that's what's scary about the Chargers. Jim Harball wants to
run the ball and they haven't been able to yet.
If they're able to get that run game together, this
is gonna be the best team in football.

Speaker 4 (01:00:36):
It really looks that way.

Speaker 5 (01:00:37):
And again, I don't want to jinx myself because we
just spoke about the Eagles, who are again to and oh,
but you're like, yeah, they're two and oh, I don't
know what I'm gonna see.

Speaker 2 (01:00:46):
We just outlined the Eagles struggles in it on the offense,
exactly a big part of football.

Speaker 4 (01:00:50):
Where you're you're two and oh.

Speaker 5 (01:00:52):
But I'm uncomfortably looking at you, not sure what I'm
going to see coming the next couple of weeks. With
the Chargers, I am comfortably looking at what you were
putting on the field from top to bottom. And you're
in a division that seems right now open for you. You
you seem like there's no reason the Chargers cannot win
this division, and I'm just excited about it. I don't

(01:01:15):
want to get ahead of myself, but they really do
seem complete right now.

Speaker 2 (01:01:20):
There's absolutely a possibility, like I was, just not far
fetched in the slightest I don't know what very much
like we've seen. You know, the Chargers are one of
those teams historically there's like charge.

Speaker 4 (01:01:31):
Just like they charge the Chargering.

Speaker 2 (01:01:33):
Just saw Doabbo swingey on the screen and clemsoning was
a thing, and then Doabbo got in there, got his
recruiting classes, turned it around, and I know he's on
a downslope right now, but over the last twenty three
years that he's been there has been very positive. Obviously,
Jim Harball built this team and his image at this point,
spent that first round pick on Joe Ault. I was

(01:01:54):
gonna say, right right, so he's like.

Speaker 4 (01:01:56):
I was all mad about that my league neighbors. Wait, god,
I got my leagu name.

Speaker 5 (01:02:01):
And then Joe wall coming and clutch stepping in for
Rashaun Slater who was injured to start early in the season,
losing him moving to a position. No, he's he is
that that coach that makes the difference absolutely plus and
you you would know that.

Speaker 2 (01:02:17):
You would know that, I would you know, and he
took that's you know, that's just real quick as a
click aside since you brought it up, because you would know.

Speaker 3 (01:02:25):
I'm sure that jesse Mentor had the Raiders signals.

Speaker 2 (01:02:29):
I'm sure that that's the reason why the Chargers are
now two to zero and have the suffocating defense who
have allowed just on a quick peruse of the NFL standings, yes,
the Chargers have allowed the least amount of points in
the AFC and a second to least amount, third to
least amount of points in the entire NFL.

Speaker 3 (01:02:50):
And you chicken.

Speaker 2 (01:02:50):
Guys like Tar Heaps still play lockdown, a con style defense,
locked up, don't let him out against the Raiders team
which scored a ton of once against New England. I'm
sure it's Connor Stallions is up in the stands telling
Jesse Minter what to do. Maybe that Michigan team was
just really, really really freaking good. All right, to go
back to some college football games, and you know, Steve,

(01:03:12):
I'm pretty sure that Ian did not know what the
Apple Cup was. I don't know if he's googled it since,
but I said they changed the Apple Cup to this
TV And he said, huh what, Steve? What's the scoring
that game? And everything else going on in college football?

Speaker 14 (01:03:24):
Just for the record, there used to be a thing
called the Pac twelve. Kids. It was a conference in
college football.

Speaker 3 (01:03:29):
Gather round children old, and we had.

Speaker 16 (01:03:35):
By the way today, we had Oregon against Oregon State
and Washington against Washington State, which used to be the
end of the season games, just like USC against UCLA
in that league.

Speaker 14 (01:03:46):
Decade after decade, well, the Pac twelve is down to two.
So we had Oregon State in a non conference game
getting killed at number six Oregon today forty one to seven,
and we had Washington State hosting a non conference game
and trailing at home early third quarter, Washington twenty four
to sixteen against the Coogs. Well, you talk about clemsoning,

(01:04:06):
Ask a Washington State fan to cooge is actually a
verb with many of their games.

Speaker 3 (01:04:13):
Things get crazy on the polouf.

Speaker 14 (01:04:16):
So yeah, that's the Apple Cup. Washington leading at Washington State. Fway,
we can update the Florida Gators offense halftime. They do
have one first down halftime. Fourth ranked Miami at home
leeds a Gators thirteen to nothing. Florida with thirty two
yards of offense late in the third quarter. Twenty third
rank Missouri has taken the lead eighteen seventeen over South Carolina.

(01:04:39):
Number nineteen Indiana is leading at home at halftime against
number nine Illinois thirty five ten the Hoosiers with five
sacks in the first half. Vanderbilt up twenty eight nine
on Georgia State late second quarter halftime at number three
LSU Tigers thirty five nothing over Southeastern Louisiana. Halftime at
number eight Texas, it's third won nothing Longhorns over Sam Houston,

(01:05:02):
and there is a late game still an hour and
a half away from kick on Fox TV number twenty five.
USC will be hosting Michigan State. As for the earlier games,
Oklahoma did win, got the go ahead touchdown with about
five minutes left, beating Auburn twenty four to seventeen. On
Fox TV Top twenty. Matchup to start the day went
to Texas Tech thirty four to ten. At Utah, it

(01:05:23):
was thirteen to ten with under ten minutes to go.
Michigan won at Nebraska thirty to twenty seven. Clemson is
one and three after losing it home to Syracuse thirty
four to twenty one. TCU was a winner over SMU
thirty five twenty four. Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver Xavier
Worthy is out again with a bad shoulder for Sunday
night at the Giants. Seahawks white out, Jackson Smith in

(01:05:45):
Jigba listed as questionable due to illness. Tampa Bay wide
out and Meccagbuka is spected to play tomorrow.

Speaker 3 (01:05:52):
Well.

Speaker 14 (01:05:53):
The Cleveland Guardians have won again. They swept a double
header at Minnesota, Cleveland six nothing in the opener, eight
nothing in the nightcap. Cleveland has won ten in a
row and the first place Detroit Tigers lost at home
today six to five to Atlanta, giving up two runs
in the top of the ninth. Tigers have lost five
in a row eight of their last nine. The Tigers

(01:06:15):
are for the moment first place in the AL Central,
but just one game over the Cleveland Guardians, and Detroit
plays at Cleveland starting Tuesday. The regular season ends a
week from Sunday. The Mets were losers at home in
eleven innings today, five to three to Washington. Mets left
thirteen on base. Cincinnati a winner sixty three over the Cubs,

(01:06:36):
so the Red's only one game out of the last
NL wildcard behind the Mets. Brewers are tied two to
two in the ninth at Saint Louis. Phillies lead at
Arizona three to two in the bottom of the six.
The Giants get four in the first inning at Dodger
Stadium against Tyler Glassnow four to nothingk San Francisco over
La Early, and the Padres are winning six to two

(01:06:57):
at the White Sox top of the eighth. The Pods
for the moment four games back in the first place
Dodgers in the NL West. In the AL West, the
Mariners have a one game lead on Houston and the
Mariners are winning at Houston six nothing. In the bottom
of the seventh inning. The Yankees lead six to one
at Baltimore. Top of the ninth, Aaron Judge is forty
ninth Homer Red Sox tied three to three, top of

(01:07:18):
the ninth at Tampa Bay.

Speaker 2 (01:07:19):
Back to you, thanks Steve Martin and Monty coming to
you live from New Fox Sports Radio studios. He was
a full participant in practice on Wednesday, so it was
a bit of a surprise to hear the news that
Steve de Segred just updated assault on that Xavier Worthy
would not and ot be playing on Sunday Night football

(01:07:40):
against Malik Neighbors and Russell Wilson, who apparently turned back
the clock. I'd like whatever Russell Wilson have for breakfast
last weekend, because career high in passing yards to Russell Wilson,
that's gonna be a crazy like factoid.

Speaker 3 (01:07:56):
Everybody's oh, you think you know ball, Oh where was
Russell Wilson's career high?

Speaker 2 (01:08:00):
Yeah, when he was a quarterback for the Giants, Right, that's.

Speaker 4 (01:08:04):
Gonna be a trivia question exactly down the line.

Speaker 8 (01:08:06):
Absolutely absolutely so with that, Russell Wilson.

Speaker 2 (01:08:09):
There was a game they lost to Dallas to overtime.
Kansas City without Xavier Worthy, who will remind you the
reason why he's not playing is because Taylor Swift's husband
broke his college and tackled him on the first drive
of the season. Is this a must win game for
Kansas City if they go on win three? Are you

(01:08:30):
ready to go ahead and book them the plane tickets
like I booked for Dabo Sweeney last last last week,
or are you still holding out hope?

Speaker 4 (01:08:37):
So I don't.

Speaker 5 (01:08:38):
I honestly don't know what it's gonna take for me
to hit the panic button.

Speaker 4 (01:08:45):
On the Chiefs.

Speaker 5 (01:08:45):
If I'm being completely honest as a non Chiefs fan,
just as a gal who's been watching Patrick Mahomes, Andy
Reid Steve Spagnolo just dominate year after year. I just
don't know, but it's gonna take for me to officially
hit the panic button. They absolutely need to win, but
even if they lost, it's not the zero to three,

(01:09:08):
it's the maybe losing to the Giants where you're like, hmmm,
because nobody believes in the Giants right now.

Speaker 4 (01:09:14):
I mean, yes, Russell Wilson just had a career game
but did they win? No, Okay, so I think it's
more like you lost to the Giants.

Speaker 5 (01:09:23):
But then again, but then again, who the Chiefs have
nobody right now on the offensive side of the ball.
I don't know if Travis Kelce is gonna get a
pep back in a step.

Speaker 4 (01:09:33):
It doesn't look that way.

Speaker 2 (01:09:34):
I feel like most football players once they lose said steps.

Speaker 4 (01:09:38):
It's like the PEPs are gone. And I don't know
what he's thinking.

Speaker 5 (01:09:42):
Isaiah Pacheco is not going great running the ball for
the Chiefs.

Speaker 3 (01:09:47):
His advanced metrics are are terrible.

Speaker 4 (01:09:53):
They're not good. So it's like you have to the
Chiefs have to fix that. They've got to fix it,
and I don't know what.

Speaker 5 (01:10:00):
And they're going to see exiber Worthy on the field
again because he's not even traveling with the team. I
guess that doesn't I don't know if that's a big deal,
but it sounds like a big deal all of a
sudden to me.

Speaker 3 (01:10:07):
If he's not going to play, that's there. Yeah, I
guess on the team. I mean, I get it.

Speaker 4 (01:10:12):
You should I want you there. I think you should
be there.

Speaker 5 (01:10:16):
I would want you to be there if you and
I were on a team, And when you have a
spraining ankle, you can't play.

Speaker 4 (01:10:21):
You can't be here. You have to be supporting us
on the sideline.

Speaker 3 (01:10:23):
Or it could be standing back any rehab.

Speaker 4 (01:10:25):
Can't you get rehab out here?

Speaker 2 (01:10:27):
I mean, those guys are going to be busy rehabbing
the guys are actually playing.

Speaker 4 (01:10:31):
But I you know, so, I just but honestly.

Speaker 2 (01:10:34):
Imagine, like Josh Simmons goes down, He's like.

Speaker 3 (01:10:38):
Worthy, what are you doing here?

Speaker 2 (01:10:40):
I got it, I got three snaps to get my
ankle taped.

Speaker 3 (01:10:43):
You working your shoulder up?

Speaker 4 (01:10:44):
I say he's doing it during the game. I'm saying
he's doing it while he's out there.

Speaker 5 (01:10:49):
But better for real, I don't know what's going to
take for me to hit the panic, but I just
know they've got some holes on the offensive side of
the ball. But I'm not I'm not.

Speaker 4 (01:10:57):
I'm not there yet.

Speaker 2 (01:10:58):
There's no reason this is a game in which even
when you had the highest sense of belief in Kansas City,
remember they're not blowing teams. They weren't blowing teams out
last year. They haven't really blown teams out consistently in
the last few years. And I think that when you
look at the way that the Giants have.

Speaker 3 (01:11:22):
The Giants have better skill position players than the Chiefs.

Speaker 2 (01:11:24):
Two elite neighbors is the best receiver in this game, right.

Speaker 3 (01:11:29):
Kelsey, that's for tight end.

Speaker 2 (01:11:32):
Sure, maybe by emeritis. I'd rather have New York's running
backs than Kansas City's running backs just when you look
at it and shore if you want to give them
tight end, but you're okay, awesome, the one spot that
you have the benefit at that guy is thirty five. Right.

Speaker 3 (01:11:49):
This is a game that I.

Speaker 2 (01:11:51):
Expect the Kansasy Chiefs to wine to win closely, very
much like Dallas won closely against the Giants. I think
that New York York is not a good team that
is explosive, right, has potential to be explosive. Right, So
I think they'll have some explosive plays, especially when you
think about the way Steve Spagnolo plays and blitz blitz
blitz he plays. To remember the Titans defense, they will

(01:12:13):
blitz all night. But there's a reason why I said
I think Kansas City stock will be a little bit lower.
I think they win a close one against the Giants,
and that gives people almost more calls for concern. You
know what, I'm saying they lost this kame lost that came,
but they almost lost to the Giants. I think Xavier
Worthy probably starts playing week four. You get Rashid Rice

(01:12:34):
back week six. If your team is five hundred by
that point, cool now winning division? Probably not, but five
hundred by that point, five hundred going in the week seven, cool,
We can make a wildcard. And if you have the
best quarterback in football, making a wildcard shouldn't be that
big of an issue in terms of your super Bowl dreams.

Speaker 5 (01:12:54):
Exactly when we're talking like the panic, it's like we're
not we're talking super Bowl panic, right, We're talking just
are do they get into the playoffs? And I am
nowhere near hitting that panic button. I see them in
the playoffs as a wild card easily. Even if they
lose this next one, it could still happen because they're
the Chiefs.

Speaker 3 (01:13:10):
There's no they're the Chiefs.

Speaker 5 (01:13:12):
There's there's no reason again for me to to feel differently. Yet,
aside from.

Speaker 4 (01:13:18):
What you're owing to, and you've never Patrick Mahomes has
never gone through this.

Speaker 5 (01:13:23):
He's never lost in his entire history of life. Has
he lost four in a row in life?

Speaker 4 (01:13:31):
Life?

Speaker 2 (01:13:32):
You hear that I just don't like and I get
that we do this and like the whole life asterisk
stats of the world. Patrick Maholes still has not lost
four games in a row. He still has not. He
has lost two regular seas or whatever it is, three
regular sheas of games that are up. They lose this

(01:13:52):
one the super Bowl. If not, it doesn't it shouldn't
count for this type of So does this wrap around losing.

Speaker 4 (01:14:01):
Street and at the super Bowl too? Like at the
super Bowl?

Speaker 3 (01:14:04):
You know what it is.

Speaker 2 (01:14:06):
This is just people trying to push their agendas. And
you know what, I call those people guilty doorm in jail.
That's what we should do. We'll pass down judgment on
Sports Court coming up next, Darren West, Fox Sports Radio.

Speaker 3 (01:14:21):
This isn't just a game.

Speaker 2 (01:14:22):
This is a once in a generation event, the Harlem
Globetrotters one hundred Year Tour. Come be a part of
a legacy that never stops. Be there when history is made.
The Harlem Globe Trotters one hundred Year Tour. Get your
tickets today at Harlem Globetrotters dot com. Man University of
Florida is in a world of hurt right now, and
they give up a forty Look.

Speaker 3 (01:14:43):
At it, Look at this mine.

Speaker 2 (01:14:44):
The six is just that's that's like an almost toush
push as far as the running back for Miami is
up for one, two, three, four, five seconds behind the
line of scrimmage and Florida gets absolutely no penetration whatsoever
buying the wall of Hurricanes.

Speaker 3 (01:15:02):
Oh was that taking off the board whistle? Ah? Still though,
bad effort by Florida.

Speaker 4 (01:15:09):
I mean your Wolverines look like that today.

Speaker 8 (01:15:11):
That run game, oh, a certain tone.

Speaker 4 (01:15:13):
Certain times you were just like I was like, wow, you.

Speaker 3 (01:15:17):
Know, you gotta love here.

Speaker 2 (01:15:18):
And after week two and they beat Oklahoma, who has
shown to me to be very beatable as Auburn almost
beat them, right.

Speaker 4 (01:15:28):
That was not a pretty game, exactly, not a pretty
game exactly.

Speaker 2 (01:15:31):
And I got to sit there here, Ow, Bryce Underwood,
don't worry, he's gonna come a bif poge coach Michigan
against Oklahoma to be undefeated.

Speaker 3 (01:15:39):
Right now. You know what I call him for that guilty?
Let's play sports court.

Speaker 9 (01:15:45):
Okay, that's right, it is the sports court. I have
a list of people from the world of sports that
we're going to put on trial here and I will
present their case to you, guys, and then it's up
to you, the jury, to tell me whether they are
guilty or not guilty.

Speaker 4 (01:15:55):
Ready, straight to jail all of them?

Speaker 8 (01:15:58):
All right, Well, how about this guy?

Speaker 2 (01:15:59):
Did you?

Speaker 9 (01:16:00):
Josh Allen stands accused. So as we know, the Bills
beat the Dolphins on Thursday Night Football a few days ago,
thirty one to twenty one, but at the end of
the first half, though there was the score was still
tied at fourteen. Josh Allen went to kneel out the clock,
but appeared to fumble the snap.

Speaker 8 (01:16:13):
Before he could put his knee.

Speaker 9 (01:16:14):
Down, he calmly grabbed the ball, handed it to an
official and jogged off the field and that was that.
Mike McDaniel, the Dolphins coach, has now tried complaining to
the league, saying Allan handed the official a live ball,
but according to them, the place still counted as dead.

Speaker 8 (01:16:27):
What do you guys think, Josh Allen? Guilty or not guilty?

Speaker 3 (01:16:30):
Not guilty?

Speaker 4 (01:16:31):
You're not guilty.

Speaker 13 (01:16:32):
I have checked because it's devastating to my case.

Speaker 2 (01:16:36):
Because Mike McDaniel, first of all, in the moment I
sat there and watched this whole game, Mike McDaniel had
nothing to say about this.

Speaker 3 (01:16:41):
At the time.

Speaker 2 (01:16:42):
Now you want to go back after the fact because
you only three you drafted for Straw's mike. It's okay,
make the Thanksgiving dinner reservations, make the Chrystal Holly's planets.

Speaker 3 (01:16:51):
They're going home, all right. This is a dashperate grasp
for straws oh.

Speaker 5 (01:16:55):
Soo doesn't he get possession of the ball and Neil
then hands the ball off to the ref. It's it's
pretty clear in the replay that yeah, he loses it,
but then he grabs it and he plays over it,
gives himself up.

Speaker 4 (01:17:08):
Yeah, not guilty, give himself up, and the.

Speaker 8 (01:17:12):
Ref's whistled it. Yeah anyway, next.

Speaker 3 (01:17:15):
Just like they've whistled dead Dolphins season.

Speaker 8 (01:17:19):
Very nice, all right?

Speaker 3 (01:17:20):
Uh?

Speaker 9 (01:17:21):
Next one from that same game to a tugue of
I Looa stands a key guilty. The Dolphins actually played
surprisingly well for three and a half quarters, but quarterback
to a tongue of I Loa ultimately threw a backbreaking
interception in the red zone. So people were already wondering
what to A saw on that play that made him
throw it, But a new camera angle shows that he
might not have seen the play at all because he

(01:17:41):
tried throwing a no look pass with the game on
the line, and it was picked off by Terrell Bernard,
So to a tongue of Iloa, guilty or not guilty?

Speaker 4 (01:17:49):
Straight to Jil just straight, Ji, what were you thinking?

Speaker 5 (01:17:55):
There's in that play he does try to do a
nolick pass when the game is on the lot. My guy,
let's make the quick easy throw here, look alive, look
out who you're throwing the ball to. No, straight to
Jill guilty, straight Joe Mosi.

Speaker 2 (01:18:12):
You said it out loud. Make the quick easy throws, yes,
spress the problem. Those are the only throws that Tula
can make are the quick and easy throws, all right.
Even in the post game, Tua is timing and rhythm thrower.
The reason why he threw it no look is because
he wasn't moving anybody defensively looking or not looking.

Speaker 3 (01:18:32):
He knew he had to throw the ball there.

Speaker 2 (01:18:34):
That's the only option.

Speaker 3 (01:18:36):
And earlier in.

Speaker 2 (01:18:37):
The week is when Tua really became guilty when he
was asked about Josh Allen and he's like, yo.

Speaker 4 (01:18:43):
Top tier, I can't do half of those can.

Speaker 3 (01:18:46):
Do any of those things that Josh Allen does? It's like, dude,
you guys play in the same position. You're both the
highest made player on your team.

Speaker 9 (01:18:52):
Guilty, Yeah, straight to jail, all right. So Jackson Darts
stands accused. So Eli Manning recently went on the Showger
Hour podcast with Peter Schrager and shared a funny experience
he had with rookie quarterback Jackson Dart.

Speaker 17 (01:19:05):
I told Jackson, if you have any questions about anything,
you know, I'm here for you. Also, his training camp,
he calls me, can you give me a reservation at
four Charles tonight at six point thirty.

Speaker 2 (01:19:16):
I was like, no, no, no, that's not part of the deal.

Speaker 8 (01:19:19):
And I said, I'm having to help out. I'm not
doing that.

Speaker 9 (01:19:23):
So Jackson Dark guilty or not guilty of what?

Speaker 4 (01:19:27):
Of what?

Speaker 8 (01:19:28):
Abusing his connections?

Speaker 4 (01:19:30):
Playing the game off the field again? You know, I
feel like he's innocent. He's innocent.

Speaker 5 (01:19:37):
I mean, it's kind of funny and he's going to
get dragged for it if his game on the field
does not, you know, deliver, because what are you doing, bro?

Speaker 4 (01:19:46):
Focus on the field?

Speaker 2 (01:19:48):
I say this, if the first texts cent was dinner reservations,
throw him under the jail, under the jail. Okay, under god, Yeah,
that was the frist Eli Manning, because not just Eli Manning,
you know what, you know what. Honestly though, maybe he
saw arts players say, baby dinner, reservation is the best

(01:20:10):
y'all can do.

Speaker 3 (01:20:10):
Exactly, I've seen what y'all do. The quarterbacks.

Speaker 2 (01:20:14):
He did that all right.

Speaker 9 (01:20:17):
Next up, during the Broncos game against the Colts last week,
as we've already talked a lot about, there was actually
a little exchange on the sidelines that made the rounds
on social media where head coach Sean Payton appeared to
be saying something to Bonnicks when Nick seemed to actually
just snap back at him, appearing annoyed. I saw one
Twitter account repost the video saying this generation can't be
coached Bonix.

Speaker 8 (01:20:35):
Guilty or not guilty?

Speaker 4 (01:20:36):
Guilty guilty.

Speaker 5 (01:20:37):
I'm with that, Sean, Sean Payton, No, no, no, you
gotta hold your tongue. Even if you want to snap
back at your coaches. Sean pay you can't do that.

Speaker 2 (01:20:44):
Not guilty, stand up for your I can apologize for.

Speaker 3 (01:20:51):
Him on this time.

Speaker 1 (01:20:57):
Don't listening to Fox Sports Radio Radio.

Speaker 2 (01:21:00):
That's right here on Fox Sports Football Saturday. Going around
the College Slate. The biggest news of the day to
me in college football was Clemson going down for the
third time and it is not yet September twenty first,
Clemson on the ropes, off the ropes. Now they're done

(01:21:24):
done for you know, I just you hear about it.
I mean, it's just fascinating. I think the prognostication in
college football in the last three years has never been worse,
with nil transfer portal. Who we expect to be the
best teams at the start of the year, who actually
are the best teams at the end of the year.

(01:21:45):
I feel like Ohio State was one of the best
teams all season and a championship favorite, even they lost
two games. Right, It's just has never been worse than
in the last couple of years because the continuity and
roster building is just not there.

Speaker 5 (01:22:00):
Yeah, it's tough to trust your evaluations or the evaluations
you read, because I agree it's year to year now.
It seems like in the site there's obviously the teams
that are well rounded and have been around, but there's
some teams out there that definitely nobody, nobody had them
on the radar, and they look better than Clemson.

Speaker 2 (01:22:17):
If you told me that Florida State was going to
be doing what they're doing right now, I'd have been like, Nah,
if Oregon, okay, I can hear it right, Florida State, No,
I'm not buying that. If you told me the Ole
miss was four and oh, okay, I can buy that.
I can buy that Tennessee with all the stuff they
had at their quarterback situation for then to be the

(01:22:37):
fifth and three team in the nation, I'll be like,
and they are, molly. I know they lost the game,
but everybody they played thus far has been B two A.
That's alta ask.

Speaker 4 (01:22:51):
Thank you.

Speaker 3 (01:22:52):
All right, let's do the pick.

Speaker 9 (01:22:53):
The more you know, all right, So yeah, let's quickly
update last week's scores. Here, you went three and two,
well done, and Martin, you went.

Speaker 2 (01:23:06):
I feel like I won it four. You went.

Speaker 9 (01:23:12):
All right, It's taken me a long time to calculate this.
Let's just get to this week's picture first, and then
I'll take you guys on Martin's last week, Monty won
though that much is clear.

Speaker 2 (01:23:19):
Oh so we're positive on that, Okay, glad to know
we got everything straightened out.

Speaker 9 (01:23:26):
First game, Colts at Titans, Indy's favored by five and
a half points.

Speaker 8 (01:23:31):
Titans are the home team, though, Mancy, who you.

Speaker 4 (01:23:33):
Got, I'm going to take the Colts to cover. I'm
liking the Colts. I'm liking the Colts.

Speaker 5 (01:23:43):
I know, I know, maybe I'm crazy, but I just
don't know what the Titans are doing.

Speaker 4 (01:23:47):
They're still figuring things out.

Speaker 5 (01:23:49):
Cam mood is probably gonna need another ice bath after
how many socks. I'm not sure I'm taking the Colts
to cover.

Speaker 3 (01:23:56):
I I'm not.

Speaker 2 (01:23:58):
Indy has five defenders on injured reserve. Things are finally
starting to fall apart for Indianapolis. I'm not saying that
they are. They are finally getting a sign they may
fall apart with all these guys on injury reserve. I
don't expect Daniel Jones to keep playing like this. I
just don't.

Speaker 3 (01:24:13):
I'm sorry, I just don't see it.

Speaker 2 (01:24:16):
Give me the Titans to cover the four, and I
think they're actually I'll save that for a little bit.

Speaker 4 (01:24:21):
O oh tease.

Speaker 9 (01:24:24):
Now, before I got to the next one, Martin, you
were one and four last week, so you're right, I
said four.

Speaker 8 (01:24:29):
We got to bounce back on the way though one potentially.

Speaker 9 (01:24:33):
Next up Raiders at Commanders Washington, is favored by two
and a half points as the home home team.

Speaker 8 (01:24:40):
Manti, who you got?

Speaker 5 (01:24:42):
I don't know, y'all, because the Commanders with Marcus Mariota,
Like I just I am not high on the Commanders
right now, but I think, what is the.

Speaker 8 (01:24:54):
Spread that you just gave me two and a half points?

Speaker 4 (01:24:57):
I'll take the Commanders to cover.

Speaker 2 (01:24:59):
Yeah, yeah, Now, I got this earlier in the week
at Raiders plus three and a half.

Speaker 3 (01:25:04):
I think that was when Jaydon Daniels were still questionable
for this.

Speaker 2 (01:25:07):
I love the Raiders in this spot, and I really
love it for two reasons. Gino Smith, He's gonna tear
this Washington defense apart. I look, the Chargers defense is
the best in football, and we are going to all season,
all year. You're gonna see the Chargers defense place mighty
be like it sucked, and then the next week he'll
thro up for three hundred and fifty yards and four touchdowns.

Speaker 3 (01:25:27):
Give me the Raiders here.

Speaker 9 (01:25:29):
Next up Broncos at Chargers. Chargers are favored by two
and a half points as the home team. Monty, what
do you think.

Speaker 4 (01:25:35):
I'm taking the Chargers to cover? No questions asked.

Speaker 5 (01:25:38):
I think it's gonna be a lot bigger of a
margin of victory than two and a half.

Speaker 3 (01:25:45):
Who what do you think the margin victory is gonna be?

Speaker 8 (01:25:49):
Monty Callier shot at least seven? She said a touchdown
to win A touchdown?

Speaker 4 (01:25:55):
Yeah, I say Chargers win by Lisa touchdown.

Speaker 2 (01:25:59):
I know this under forty six is a lock in
this game. There's no chance that both of these are scoring.
The total game goes over twenty three to twenty. I
will take I'll take Denver to cover. Wait, you have
two and a half or three?

Speaker 8 (01:26:14):
Two and a half was the line I saw.

Speaker 3 (01:26:15):
Give me the Chargers in I think it's twenty three
to twenty.

Speaker 2 (01:26:18):
Hey, that half point matters.

Speaker 4 (01:26:19):
No with you.

Speaker 2 (01:26:20):
I think the final score of this game is gonna
be twenty three to twenty. The winning team will obviously,
there's twenty three points.

Speaker 3 (01:26:24):
That would be the Chargers, all right.

Speaker 9 (01:26:26):
Next up, Dallas Cowboys. They're going to Chicago to face
the Bears. Dallas on the road is actually favored by
a point and a half, though, Montye, what do you
think are you got?

Speaker 4 (01:26:36):
Well, there's a reason why the Bears are zing too,
but they are at home.

Speaker 5 (01:26:39):
But I think the Cowboys, I think the Cowboys cover
this one, and I.

Speaker 4 (01:26:44):
Think they beat the Bears. Yeah, I'm by like a
field goal I'm gonna take. I'm gonna take the Cowboys.

Speaker 3 (01:26:49):
I like the Cowboys as well. Here there was a point.

Speaker 2 (01:26:53):
I know that everybody wants to talk about Caleb Williams
and whether or not he's actually stinks or not. I'm
not gonna spend that time right here. I know, I
know that the Bears defense things. I know that.

Speaker 3 (01:27:08):
Okay, I don't have to Well, I'm not worried.

Speaker 2 (01:27:10):
I give it a few times. Fifty shouldn't played not.
The Bears defense is terrible. Dak is going to throw
a party. Cowboys win this thing. I think the Cowboys.
Monci called it up by a seven. I think the
Cowboys might win this thing by double digits. Wow, I
am locked into Benjon post game, locked in front row.
All right, Last one for you guys. Cincinnati Bengals at

(01:27:32):
Minnesota Vikings. Like I said, their Vikings are the home
team and they are favored by two and a half points.

Speaker 8 (01:27:38):
What'd you think, Monci?

Speaker 5 (01:27:40):
I like Jake Browning seems to deliver for the Bengals.

Speaker 8 (01:27:44):
Browning versus Wentz, that's a real class exactly.

Speaker 4 (01:27:48):
I just I don't.

Speaker 5 (01:27:51):
I don't trust Carson Wentz, but I don't trust the
Bengals at all. So I have to go with Vikings
by that logic, right, I don't trust one player versus
not trusting a team.

Speaker 2 (01:28:06):
Here's another thing. I'm going with the Bengals. Here, I'm
going with the Bengals. Here's Monty talked about. She is,
don't trust the Vikings, right are you?

Speaker 4 (01:28:13):
I don't trust Carson Wentz.

Speaker 3 (01:28:14):
You don't trust Carson, I.

Speaker 4 (01:28:15):
Don't trust the Bengals.

Speaker 3 (01:28:16):
You know who else?

Speaker 2 (01:28:17):
I don't think trust Carson Wentz, or may not trust
Carson Wentz. Kevin O'Connell, because he called Aaron Rodgers, he
called Dan, you'll jove, he called everybody under the son.

Speaker 3 (01:28:27):
He said, listen, all right, I guess we'll take Carson Wentz.

Speaker 2 (01:28:30):
Six teams, six years, and Carson Wentz is one of
those guys that that when he's your backup quarterback.

Speaker 3 (01:28:38):
Look out.

Speaker 2 (01:28:39):
I called this to Jason Campbell Award because twenty five
years ago, it was all Jason Campbell did was be
a backup quarterback and find a way to start for
your team. Carson Wentz is gonna get out there for
at least a game or two. I don't think the
Vikings have played particularly.

Speaker 3 (01:28:53):
Well this year.

Speaker 2 (01:28:54):
Cincinnati.

Speaker 3 (01:28:55):
I think Cincinnati wins this in a high scoring game.

Speaker 9 (01:28:58):
Really, all right, that's it for picks. Let's move on
to Atomic Dogs.

Speaker 4 (01:29:03):
There was a few time that is gonna be three
and zero with Burrow hurt.

Speaker 9 (01:29:06):
All right, just to update you guys on last week's
Atomic Dogs, Martin, you had the Jets over the Bills,
which unfortunately did not pan out. But Monci your Colts
over the Broncos pick did pan out and it really
came down to the to the wire there. It really
did field goal and that was wiped off the board.
So well done there. What do you guys got this
week for your outright underdog winner months?

Speaker 3 (01:29:28):
You want to go first? Since you nailed it last.

Speaker 5 (01:29:30):
Week, I mean sure, sure, I'm gonna go back to
a matchup we already discussed. I say, the Rams, who
are supposed to is it three? Do you have three
and a half on yours three and a half Eagles
favorite to beat the Rams. I don't see that at all.
I am taking the Rams not only to cover. The
Rams are gonna win this game.

Speaker 4 (01:29:50):
They're gonna win.

Speaker 5 (01:29:51):
In Philadelphia because the Eagles have a run game, but
they're not throwing the ball well like we have discussed
we have.

Speaker 4 (01:29:57):
I don't know how.

Speaker 5 (01:29:59):
They are gonna do you anything against Sean McVay and
this Rams team that may be on the edge of older,
they're still they're still They're a well oiled machine.

Speaker 8 (01:30:12):
Defense is young too.

Speaker 2 (01:30:13):
Yeah.

Speaker 3 (01:30:14):
Oh, I actually really like the Rams to win. But
I am not going to give.

Speaker 2 (01:30:17):
Out that one what I did last week, because I
had a lot of different ones, I went with the biggest.
I was trying to go for the gusto, go for
you know what I'm saying, try to try to really.

Speaker 3 (01:30:25):
Come out here and be like damn MARTINISI in the future.

Speaker 2 (01:30:29):
Hey, you know, I'm gonna do it again. I think
that the Titans win this weekend. I think the Raiders
win this weekend. I think the Cowboys win this weekend.
But my atomic dog is, oh, man, who is it?

Speaker 4 (01:30:40):
What are you gonna say?

Speaker 3 (01:30:43):
Gather around children and.

Speaker 4 (01:30:45):
Here, everybody, let's see what does he say.

Speaker 2 (01:30:48):
Spencer Ratler gets his first NFL win the New Orleans Saints,
who have been.

Speaker 3 (01:30:55):
Fighting for the first two weeks of the year.

Speaker 2 (01:30:58):
Both games had a chance to win with the ball
in hand, all right, and then then and obviously didn't.
They're fighting under this new coach, killing Moore. Spencial Rattler
has something too on. Robert solid Last at that post
game press conference wax poetically about Spencer Rattler. He's been
so good that the quarterback they drafted in the second

(01:31:18):
round is not even a question mark about when you're
gonna see him. And that's maybe just because he thinks
give me the Saints. They definitely covered the seven. Give
me the Saints.

Speaker 3 (01:31:30):
I think they know I picked the Tomic dog.

Speaker 5 (01:31:32):
I picked him to win. That's that's a that's a
pick Martin. You know what, I don't hate it. I
don't hate it. I mean, I'm not doing it, but
I don't hate it.

Speaker 2 (01:31:44):
You know, this is my first time working extensively with
the woman in sports media.

Speaker 4 (01:31:49):
You're welcome.

Speaker 3 (01:31:51):
That felt like shade. That felt like that felt like shit.
It's like, oh, I like, I'm not I wouldn't do it, but.

Speaker 4 (01:31:58):
I just I think it.

Speaker 7 (01:31:59):
I like it.

Speaker 4 (01:32:00):
What are you talking. I'm just making sure afraid to
shade you, by the way, just making sure you'll be
afraid I'll shade you when I.

Speaker 8 (01:32:06):
Lie and cast the shade.

Speaker 2 (01:32:07):
I mean, listen, it wasn't full shade, but it was
like half shade.

Speaker 3 (01:32:16):
I don't I don't know, I don't know.

Speaker 4 (01:32:21):
If you like it, I love it.

Speaker 3 (01:32:23):
That's exactly. That's that was the vibe I got, right,
wasn't that it?

Speaker 2 (01:32:26):
She's like, you know, I'm not gonna you know, like.

Speaker 4 (01:32:29):
That's cute, right, Like that's cute.

Speaker 2 (01:32:31):
But I think this time next week we'll be talking
about how I'm too and O and you're two in
the upset on the like that's how that's that's that's
why it was nasty.

Speaker 4 (01:32:38):
Mossy Mary, Mary, Mary, don't take his side.

Speaker 2 (01:32:43):
Don't just listen.

Speaker 3 (01:32:45):
I love a little beef. Call it like we're just
calling balls and strikes here. That's what he was calling
balls and strikes. No, robot, it was real cute.

Speaker 2 (01:32:55):
Yea next next the next week, if I go and
two and I go, let me go on three, then
the be my little Q pick, right, you know what
I'm saying, Oh, that's a little cue pick over there.

Speaker 3 (01:33:03):
That's cute.

Speaker 2 (01:33:06):
We have.

Speaker 3 (01:33:08):
Backup dog.

Speaker 4 (01:33:11):
Exactly.

Speaker 3 (01:33:12):
We have backup quarterbacks. Dull lux backup quarterback.

Speaker 2 (01:33:16):
A round table in the NFL coming up on Sunday
and Monday. What is the expectations for the one quarterback
true quarterback whisperer in the NFC.

Speaker 3 (01:33:27):
We'll get to that in just a minute. This is
just a game.

Speaker 2 (01:33:29):

Speaker 2 (01:33:50):
Our names are on the show and we're actually here.
More on that in the moment, coming to.

Speaker 3 (01:33:55):
Your line from the Fox First Radio studios.

Speaker 2 (01:33:57):
By the way, you can follow us on Twitter and
tweet the show up at Martin Weiss at monc We
will get here. Tweach coming up shortly and comment on
the YouTube. Thing comment on our YouTube, especially on our show,
say nice.

Speaker 4 (01:34:11):
Things or don't.

Speaker 3 (01:34:13):
I'm here for the engagement more than anything.

Speaker 2 (01:34:16):
Just to be clear, now, I said it's us, Martin
Wise and mons our names are on the show and
we're the ones here because a lot of the stars
in the NFL taking tomorrow off, not because they want to,
but because they have to. You know, Jayden Daniels, he'll
be out. Joey Burrow, he'll be out. JJ McCarthy. I

(01:34:39):
know we're stretching the definition of star, but quarterback he'll
be out. Right. We're quarterback injuries, we're on a plenty,
and we do have a backup quarterback bowl right in
the Vikings and the Bengals.

Speaker 3 (01:34:55):
However, the Vike now the Bengals. When their quarterback got hurt,
it was a tragic moment.

Speaker 2 (01:35:03):
Yes for Bengals fans.

Speaker 3 (01:35:06):
I forget who.

Speaker 2 (01:35:09):
Had I forget who Carmen had on earlier today in
that slot, but it was a Cincinnati reporter and she
said that was the saddest she had been covering the
team for a few years. It was the saddest she
had ever seen the Bengals locker room. And that includes
like a if she championship loss. Because this was the
year now for the Vikings. You would have thought that

(01:35:30):
maybe last year was the year fourteen wins would have
been the two seed in the conference, competed for the
one seed. But then Sam Darnold turned into a pumpkin
in the playoffs, and that's how that went. So now
this year, Hope springs the turnable with a new quarterback.
But that new quarterback's played eight courters of football and
looked good through one of them. Do you think that

(01:35:53):
Carson Wentz could potentially wrench the job away from all JJ?

Speaker 4 (01:35:58):
I don't see why not? Oh, I just don't. What
has JJ done well? You're holding on to Hope.

Speaker 2 (01:36:05):
Ironically enough, Offensive Player of the Week in Week one,
but that was after one.

Speaker 5 (01:36:10):
Good quarter, one good quarter, because even when he won that,
people were like, what you gave it to this guy?

Speaker 4 (01:36:15):
I just I don't. I don't think he is cemented now.

Speaker 5 (01:36:18):
He is the future of the Vikings, but if we're
talking about this year.

Speaker 4 (01:36:23):
I don't see.

Speaker 5 (01:36:24):
I don't see that Carson Wentz doesn't have the opportunity
to do this.

Speaker 4 (01:36:28):
JJ McCarthy is the future of Minnesota.

Speaker 5 (01:36:30):
They they are investing in him, but right now he
doesn't seem ready. I don't know if he needs the reps.
But he's obviously injured, so it's like, why not Carson Wentz.
They would be happy to ride the Carson Wentz, you know,
train and get through the season successfully and maybe have
another chance next year.

Speaker 4 (01:36:50):
But you can't. You can't just like say, all right.

Speaker 5 (01:36:53):
Well, I guess we'll wrap this season up and try
again next year.

Speaker 4 (01:36:56):
With JJ McCarthy. You got to try to win.

Speaker 2 (01:36:57):
Now you have Justin Jefferson, you absolutely have to try.

Speaker 3 (01:37:01):
So I have Justin Jefferson.

Speaker 2 (01:37:03):
You have a roster that feels like it contend for
a Super Bowl, a roster that's lost.

Speaker 3 (01:37:08):
Think about it five games in the last twenty you
know what I'm saying, Like.

Speaker 2 (01:37:12):
This is a really good team on paper, and then
you go in, you sub in your quarterback, and I
know it's not apples to apples or oranges to oranges,
but you look at Sam Darnold, who is playing okay,
and Daniel Jones who was flatly balling. Both of those
guys were in your room with JJ McCarty. But the
thing and also the final thing on JJ McCarty is

(01:37:33):
i'd actually never thought he was a first round quarterback.
I am not necessarily a fan of guys who their
main status. He's a winner, you know, because that's the
type of stuff that in college football, I feel like,
can get you through things.

Speaker 3 (01:37:47):
But in the NFL that's not truly how it goes.

Speaker 2 (01:37:50):
However, it is now time if you're ready for Monzie's
Saturday shoutouts standouts. Rather these guys, all of them winners.

Speaker 4 (01:37:58):
There are some guys today.

Speaker 5 (01:38:00):
I was just like, Okay, maybe I should become a
Red Raiders fan, maybe I should become a Wolverines fan.
But let's get going with the first one.

Speaker 7 (01:38:09):
For Dante Moorea back to throw off a little play.

Speaker 8 (01:38:13):
Action, let us to go in.

Speaker 13 (01:38:14):
So God got a touchdown, jen Yard City got behind
the defender an easy pitch and catch a touchdown Oregon.

Speaker 5 (01:38:25):
Yeah, you just heard it all over here on our
Dante was Jerry Allen from Learfield there as Oregon just
absolutely dominated Oregon State forty one to seven.

Speaker 4 (01:38:36):
Dante Moore twenty one thirty one.

Speaker 5 (01:38:39):
Three hundred and five yards, four touchdowns plus fifty three
rushing yards, which, by the way, career high. Those four
touchdowns the Ducks are for and O great job by Dante.
Morr aboutthey Troitan, let's go, let's go all right, let's
go to number two.

Speaker 1 (01:38:53):
Hoover delivers a strike.

Speaker 13 (01:38:55):
Mccalist ray Eric McCallister for the TC you touchdown.

Speaker 4 (01:39:04):
ESPN TV on that call.

Speaker 5 (01:39:06):
A career day for McAllister the horn The Horned Frogs
are three and oh. But he had eight catches two
hundred and fifty four yards, three touchdowns, second most catches
in TCU catching yards in TCU history, a career day
for him. You probably weren't paying attention because that wasn't
a ranked game, but it.

Speaker 3 (01:39:24):
Was the only close game.

Speaker 5 (01:39:27):
Wait, if you weren't, he was delivering no questions asked.

Speaker 4 (01:39:31):
Let's go move on to number three.

Speaker 11 (01:39:32):
Ham It is gonna throw, going to go to the
end zone, and it's Virgil touchdown.

Speaker 3 (01:39:37):
Red Raiders.

Speaker 2 (01:39:38):
Pretty Virgil.

Speaker 5 (01:39:40):
Brian Jensen from Learfield on the call. If you weren't
paying attention to this one, Texas lost. Texas Tech lost
their quarterback. So comes in red shirt freshman Will Hammond
and in a short amount of time Martin thirteen of
sixteen one hundred and sixty nine yards, two touchdowns.

Speaker 4 (01:39:55):
Also had six carries for sixty one.

Speaker 5 (01:39:57):
Yards twenty one unanswered points in the fourth quarter led
by this guy.

Speaker 4 (01:40:03):
Red Raiders are four and now were you expecting this?

Speaker 2 (01:40:06):
They spent a ton of money on that roster in
the offseason. This to me is the test case for nil.
Like this is the pod look build a team out
a little.

Speaker 4 (01:40:17):
Bit, sprinkle, sprinkles, sprinkles.

Speaker 2 (01:40:19):
Spend that money and then boom. That's why Taxi techt
is raked right now. They've had a ton of injuries too.
They'd be better if they were all the way healthy.

Speaker 4 (01:40:26):
This guy, this Will Hammond, the ites. I was like,
this guy can sling it. This guy can sling it.

Speaker 5 (01:40:31):
And there was a couple of NFL scouts at this
game looking at other defensive players and offensive players. I
wonder if that guy is now on the radar, this
red shirt freshman Will Hammond.

Speaker 4 (01:40:42):
All right, we got to end with the little defense.

Speaker 1 (01:40:44):
Let's go empty backfield.

Speaker 11 (01:40:46):
Dylan Ryola down again, another sack by the Michigan defense
and another one by ray Sean Benny.

Speaker 4 (01:40:54):
Yeah you just heard it on CBS TV.

Speaker 5 (01:40:56):
I mean your Wolverines winning today in a fun game
twenty seven against Nebraska.

Speaker 4 (01:41:01):
That's the one I was tuning into.

Speaker 5 (01:41:03):
And the defense was a big part of your success.
Wolverines three and one. But Rashawn Benny three tackles. Want
to have saxon today's game.

Speaker 4 (01:41:12):
Let's go Wolverines.

Speaker 3 (01:41:13):
Listen.

Speaker 2 (01:41:14):
They said the kid couldn't run. I watched him run
fifty seven yards for a touchdown. I'm just saying, I'm
just saying fresh Underwood looks huh, very good.

Speaker 5 (01:41:23):
And your defense was so a big part of it
because that guy that looks like Patrick Mahomes, Dylan Rayola,
Rayola likes to sling the ball. He was ready, he
was ready. Your defense had to go out there and
stop him.

Speaker 3 (01:41:37):
Brain dead moment by the coaching staff.

Speaker 12 (01:41:39):
None in the first half time the first second, well
that hail Mary.

Speaker 4 (01:41:43):
In the first half, I was like, no way, no.

Speaker 3 (01:41:47):
Ways, absolutely no way.

Speaker 2 (01:41:48):
And they made that decis they're scared to put the
offense on the field.

Speaker 3 (01:41:51):
That's just ridiculous.

Speaker 12 (01:41:52):
I was like, this is with one second left and
Matt Rocols and you're like why why?

Speaker 4 (01:41:57):
I could not believe that played. That was ridiculous.

Speaker 2 (01:41:59):
Now as unbelievable as that was in just a moment.
Jad Pakel will join us on three College Football Insider.
He does show the hard count all about college football.
I'm gonna ask him about one what is lopsided right now?
But this is one of the most impressive things we
have seen in college football. We have only seen this

(01:42:21):
happening right now. Ask Jad about it, but first I'll
punt it over. Never scared to kick the Steve the Sega.

Speaker 14 (01:42:27):
Well, it's been a little scary watching the Florida offense

like he shouldn't be in the home run. Derby, yeah shut.

Speaker 14 (01:45:26):

on three and The Hard COUNT. Jd how is This saturday, Going?
Buddy college?

Speaker 3 (01:46:37):
Football? Everyone?

Speaker 7 (01:46:39):
Phenomenal, hey big one for for the amazing Blue man
getting it down on the. Road Bryce, underwood just Enough
wood can maybe not everything you. Want phenomenal slate, Man
i'm just inhaling all of. It i'm sure you all
are as.

Speaker 1 (01:46:51):
Well, LISTEN i happy to be on with.

Speaker 3 (01:46:52):
You if you want to start with the biggest story
in college? Football who AM i to argue with? You
so there own more suspended for this.

Speaker 2 (01:47:01):
Game Biff pogey calling the, plays and it just looked
to me this looked like A michigan team for the
first time in a long time that felt very much
like The michigan teams under The hardbaugh. Era we're gonna run,
Left we're gonna we're gonna run up the, middle and
there's nothing you can do about it that.

Speaker 3 (01:47:17):
You, know and then we'll take everything else as a
bonus from.

Speaker 2 (01:47:20):
There do you see this as sustainable For michigan going?
Forward and a quick touch On nebraska And Matt, rule
WHO i was told By Aaron torres is a program.
Builder Matt rule has has he ever beaten a ranked
team At nebraska or is that just what's?

Speaker 7 (01:47:35):
That, yeah the Whole matt rule side of thing was
the discussion THAT i could have for a while when
it comes to what he had in accomplished there this.
Year i'm still maybe a touch bias BECAUSE i was
At bayleor with him for a cup of. Coffee So
i'm still a rule. Believer but in regards To, michigan,
MAN i THINK i think you hit it right on the,
Head LIKE i think This michigan team is still very clearly.

(01:47:56):
Evolving Like Bryce underwood throwing for just over one hundred
yards probably isn't like the game plan In november or next.
Year but with that being, said the floor is still
enormously high for everything you just, Said. Martin like Old,
michigan the Harball michigan still exists in that building In Ann.
Arbor and so if you can have that high floor
and then have a quarterback who has i mean just

(01:48:18):
potentially coming out of his ears once that experience gets
on him, popping and once we get to see the
unlocked version Of Bryce, underwood whether it's the hymn, thing
whether it's the scheme, thing, whatever it looks like that's
where it gets really. Exciting SO i don't know if
you felt this way or, not but Watching Bryce, UNDERWOOD
i still Think i'm getting like sixty five to seventy
percent of the experience THAT i was promised WHEN i

(01:48:39):
bought my, Ticket Like i'm still waiting for the design
quarterback runs and waiting brush, push you, know push the ball.
Downfield and again maybe that's the thing where it's, like,
hey we Got Jordan marshall And Justice, Hayne we're just
going to take a shovel to the back of, people,
said and you know you just hand the ball, off
will be? Good Yeng buck so winning if he gets
to totally go super saying, Mode michigan is going to

(01:49:00):
be going to be. Scary, now the question is is
that this year or is that next? YEAR tvd but
you never apologize for a gain and went on the.

Speaker 5 (01:49:07):
Road let's talk about another explosive offense and how scary
they really. Are The Indiana. Hoosiers Fernando. MENDOZA i, mean
right now they are putting on a show Against illinois
fifty six to. Ten Fernando mendoza already out of the,
game letting his brother take a couple snaps once, again
always seen them as score score.

Speaker 4 (01:49:25):
Score how real are.

Speaker 7 (01:49:27):
They it's IT'S i, MEAN i think they're they're super.
LIKE i think going into this, game the discussion was
a two pretty evenly matched. Teams you, Know indiana's favored
by a. Score these teams are probably you, know like
the fourth team in The Big. Ten i'm, like, MAN
i don't, KNOW i don't Know indiana right. Now let's
say they can score on anybody and with, anybody AND i,
mean just a testamentto the development arm of What indiana

(01:49:52):
has With, Signetti Like Bernanda mendoza was like solid At.
COW i don't think he, was you, know breaking records
to my, knowledge but to see what he's doing of
that offen For cruise Of Big, netty it's decided to be.
Old SO i think The hoosiers Are i'll say, THIS
i think they're more real than they were a year,
ago because last year was, like, oh they ducked everybody
on their. Schedule they kind of had a nice little

(01:50:12):
pass to playoff and then got beat by you, Know
Ohio state by a, million and then they got beat
by not to. Day pretty defenditively LIKE i Think illinois
is a real, deal good football team with all they
brought back from last year's team that was actually a
good football. Team to See indiana just hanging now as
we're on the. Airline just get touch the paint again
and break. Sixty indiana is the real.

Speaker 2 (01:50:32):
Deal, yeah they absolutely look like the real. Deal what's
not the real? Deal clemson one in three for the
first time since two thousand and.

Speaker 3 (01:50:41):
Four Doabos weeny crying on the.

Speaker 2 (01:50:43):
Sidelines crashed out earlier this, week, saying if you don't like,
winning you can fire.

Speaker 3 (01:50:47):
Me AND i actually think the guys got a.

Speaker 2 (01:50:49):
Point but when you have pretty much consensus top five
ranking across the board and you've lost three games Before, october,
first where Does clemson go from? Here?

Speaker 7 (01:51:02):
Uh you, Know i'll say, THIS i don't think they're done.
Losing to be, HONEST i don't think that we've seen
from them so far are things THAT i don't think
you fix, overnight even with all the talent they. Have
it was, jarring and it was especially jarring because it
was their second loss in two, weeks and typically you
see the teams that have great player leadership in a
locker room kind of draw a line in the sand

(01:51:24):
when you lose to a team that's you, know just
the college status face, here Like Georgia tech is less
talented Than. Clemson clemson probably should not have lost that
game on. Paper you'd like to think in a week's,
time the leaders have their players only meeting and you,
know there's a set diversion see and it was, like,
dude they looked worse than did we before at Help
and then so there's gonna be a lot of discussion
this week around, Well dada's got to go to the.

(01:51:46):
Portal does the game Pass dabo By i'm, like, dude
the players on the, Problem Like dabo has one of
the most talented rosters in college, football they just for whatever,
reason aren't ready to. Play so that's the most concerting
part to, me because if it was a player, thing you're, Like, okay,
hey we got to get a better. Roster we can fix.
That when you have as much talent as they have

(01:52:06):
and you're still getting beat the, weather getting, beaten that
makes me really nervous About clumbson going. Forward SO i
think it's game set match this year and we'll see
how they adjust and finished threat the.

Speaker 2 (01:52:16):
Season NOW i know what you're, SAYING i agree with
you that. Team to, Me clemson is more talented than
the teams that they have lost to thus, far just
across the. BOARD i think they're looking at Probably clemson
called out five times in the first two days of
THE Nfl, draft AND i don't think that's. True for,
Hell troy was giving them hell before the weather went.
Bad BUT i wonder this AS i Watched Florida state

(01:52:39):
Beat alabama in the first game of the, year and
THEN i did the math on this, earlier so you
don't have To they've out the score combined the last
few games with one forty three to. Thirteen If i'm
A clemson, fan DO i take silace in? That and
If i'm A Florida state, fan DO i believe in
this to What Florida.

Speaker 7 (01:52:56):
State is right?

Speaker 2 (01:52:57):
Now?

Speaker 7 (01:52:57):
Yeah you, KNOW i think the biggest thing for, Me
martin is what do they look like on A friday
night going To, Virginia BECAUSE i think The alabama game
is super easy to get up, for and then you
play a bunch of high school teams and that's all
well and, Good BUT i am really curious What Thomas
castellanas is and what That Florida state team is when

(01:53:18):
there's not a bunch of buzz around, them when it's
not a routine, Week, like are they able to have
the like WHAT i call competitive, character a competitive composure
pick it up for a game on the road when
you're somebody else's Super bowl In, Virginia, like are you
able to bring your best when it's not the biggest
game in? Town AS i think these last two, games

(01:53:39):
obviously they've taken belt The, Chiefs like that's. GREAT i
love that for. THEM i think that's a good. Sign
but like when you play another team that is actually
in your conference and you, know if you don't bring
your best can actually beat you in A virginia that's
WHERE i think we really learned a lot more About Florida.
State So i'm high On Florida. STATE i just want
to see where they are when things aren't totally teed
up for it to be a situation where there's posts

(01:54:00):
to either be emostionally invested or just massively superior from
a roster.

Speaker 2 (01:54:04):
Perspective, yeah we're gonna see because to the, point it's
easy to get For alabama and the fact That virginia
is the test game is one that is like a
but it just shows you in today's college football, era
things changed quickly Because virginia was one of the worst
teams in The Power five just a few short years.

Speaker 3 (01:54:21):
Ago, jad thanks for coming. On check him out on.

Speaker 2 (01:54:24):

THEM i have a number you will not believe about
how this one player dominates the other. Conference we'll get
to that in just a, Minute Martin, Weiss Monsi Bolanos
Fox Sports Football, saturday keeping the seats warm for the

(01:55:26):
best college football wrap up show In. America that's. Right
Aaron torres And Jason martin are up. Next they will
dive into all things and c. DOUBLEA i THINK i
Saw torres wandering around the hallways at like five thirty
to day on this third cup of, coffee ready to, go,
saying what's ugi boogie?

Speaker 4 (01:55:42):
Mean, yeah he definitely didn't know what ugi boogie?

Speaker 2 (01:55:45):
Was to be, CLEAR i didn't, either but but you know,
NOW i saw you were making fun of him for,
it AND i was, Like i'm not about to get
made fun of.

Speaker 3 (01:55:52):
Too so but you've heard.

Speaker 4 (01:55:54):
Of a nightmare Before?

Speaker 8 (01:55:55):
Christmas If i'm familiar with the concept with The conton.

Speaker 5 (01:55:58):
Movie, yeah the, movie and uh, okay but he's a bad.

Speaker 4 (01:56:03):
Guy he's a bad. GUY i just can't. BELIEVE i gat, okay, whatever.

Speaker 2 (01:56:08):
Whatever The lions haven't ran into too many bad guys
the last few, years but one.

Speaker 3 (01:56:17):
Who put the oogie boogie on them was.

Speaker 2 (01:56:19):
The Baltimore ravens And Lamar jackson with a thirty eight
to six mollywopping two short years ago as the last
time these two teams, played now teams that both have
very very high, expectations and both with losses on the
schedule thus far. Already that is, like, OKAY i don't

(01:56:41):
like the way that looked with The lions dropping that
one to The Green bay early In week, one and
then The bills just, saying, Oh, josh here's Your Superman,
cape why don't you go ahead and run through our
defense on the way to making The Buffalo bills and
defeated give us a how did they.

Speaker 3 (01:56:58):
Possibly lose a sixteen point.

Speaker 2 (01:57:01):
Lead type of loss that we have come used to
seeing by The Baltimore. Ravens this is gonna be a
Game america will be. Watching america is listening right, Now,
monsie what do you think?

Speaker 4 (01:57:09):
HAPPENS i think it's gonna be a.

Speaker 5 (01:57:10):
Shootout BUT i even THOUGH i don't know how The
lions are gonna Stop lamar Or Derrick, HENRY i don't
see them stopping them at. All The ravens have a
lot of players not playing that are on the injured,
list AND i think that's gonna be a big part
of how The lions can maybe pull off the. Upset

(01:57:32):
but The ravens should win this, game because, Again Lamar
jackson And Derek henry are not gonna be stopped by The.
Lions but they're Not they're not gonna have a lot
of key Players baltimore to protect and to.

Speaker 4 (01:57:42):
Defend so.

Speaker 2 (01:57:46):
This is earlier we talked about this trivia question being
a great one that like with at what point Did
Russell wilson have his career high in passing? Yards, yeah
because the answer of week two of his last season
of his career will never be the thing that people.

Speaker 3 (01:57:59):
Guess do you know What Lamar jackson's record is against THE?

Speaker 5 (01:58:02):
NFC i if he's lost one, game that's.

Speaker 4 (01:58:07):
It if he's lost, one.

Speaker 3 (01:58:08):
He's lost, two he's lost two.

Speaker 2 (01:58:10):
Games so you're on two, right twenty four and?

Speaker 3 (01:58:15):
Two? Bonus do you know the team to beat?

Speaker 2 (01:58:19):
Him?

Speaker 4 (01:58:19):
Eagles?

Speaker 3 (01:58:20):
No?

Speaker 2 (01:58:20):
No do you and producer and do you know the
team to Beat Lamar? Jackson this is one of my
Favorite i'll put it. Here i'll give a. Hit the
quarterback that beat him on that team is now in
a new. PLACE.

Speaker 8 (01:58:36):
Mka was it The rams When Jared goff was? There,
nope that was a great.

Speaker 4 (01:58:42):
GUESS i was going for.

Speaker 2 (01:58:43):
That you're just perusing the standings now saying what quarterbacks
are new facing new?

Speaker 4 (01:58:49):
Places you, KNOW i just want to See Tampa.

Speaker 2 (01:58:52):
Bay, nope the team to have Beat Lamar jackson both.
TIMES i Believe Daniel jones.

Speaker 3 (01:58:59):
And The New York.

Speaker 2 (01:59:00):
Giants let's Go Daniel. Jones Daniel jones is the only
mindy eight percent SHOW i know The giants only team
to beat.

Speaker 3 (01:59:07):
HIM i Think Danie jones's quarterback for both of, them
but for the longest he.

Speaker 2 (01:59:10):
Was the one win Was Daniel. Jones Lamar.

Speaker 8 (01:59:13):
Jackson counter, listen that is what The Kirk.

Speaker 3 (01:59:16):
Night looks like SO Afc championship. Game Cal To, ravens
h oh, No i'm just.

Speaker 2 (01:59:22):
Kidding i'm just, kidding BUT i say that to say
that remarkable, number to me shows That Lamar jackson it's
really really hard to game plan. For so you don't
see him every, year when you don't see him multiple
times a, year he is really really hard to game
plan for because he's like the, best one of the
best athletes with the ball and then mind you, oh
the best running back of, course best running quarterback of all,

(01:59:44):
time then goes up and throws a forty touchdown four interception.
Year oh, well, no all, right that might just be
a perfect. Player BUT i expect The ravens to win
this game. Though BUT i Think i'll put it like,
This the lines will show me who they are if
they keep this.

Speaker 5 (01:59:59):
Cla, oh that's Absolutely and to, add, Obviously Lamar jackson
is not by himself With Derek henry next to.

Speaker 4 (02:00:04):
Him that's what makes them even scarier right now to
try and. STOP i like what you.

Speaker 5 (02:00:09):
Said you Think ravens are gonna, win but it's gonna
tell us about The lions even if they.

Speaker 4 (02:00:14):
Lose if how do they?

Speaker 2 (02:00:15):
Lose this needs to be a field goal game by
the end of it for me to feel good about.

Speaker 4 (02:00:19):
IT i like that
