maybe everything didn't go as planned for Center, but he

ends up getting there and Sinner's a bit injured as well.
But I just don't think that we realized that we
were in the Federer, Nadal ultimately Djokovic era until we
were well into it, until Roger Federer was well into it.
I felt for a while it was Federer, Federer or Federer,
and we weren't excited about that because maybe there wasn't

And I think just that we're in it now, and
at some point there may be a young player that
ends up coming up and joining these two, just like
Novak Djokovic is. But we're coming out of what I
just felt was the greatest men's tennis era that we
have seen, with Federer and Nadal and Djokovic just carrying
the baton in such a way that made these Grand

Slam events must see TV. In my mind, I don't
want people late to the party when it comes to
these two yeah.

Young and just upcoming. I mean, I think that's that's
part of it is the we're usually so quick to
want to anoint. And we've got the baseball story that
has everybody up in arms that we'll talk about the
beginning and next hour when we talk about young guys
breaking through and quote deserving it. Whereas we have no
problem trying to crown an eighteen year old in basketball

he's played two summer league games. My god, he's Magic Johnson.
He's the best since Lebron James is a Cooper Flag
of courses who I'm referring to, right, big, big effort,
thirty one points uh in yesterday's win and all of that,
and and but we're we're quick in every other sport,

sports we want to wait, and then maybe we missed
getting on the the fun part of the ride when
they're first going through these these big battles and the
fact that they have each other because all those years,
I mean, you're you're a big golf guy, man, all
those years we tried to manufacture someone for Tiger, Right,
someone will win a tournament Tiger didn't play, and it's like,
all right, he's there to challenge Tiger or Phil Mickelson

because he was fun and flamboyant, gambling on the course,
off the course, and and you know, with his comments
to the media, he became a natural. All right, just
put him up as the villain. Right, It's like he's
he's a good sound bite. It's like you go watch
superhero movies. Uh, and it might not be a great,
well constructed villain, but if the guy delivers the lines

well enough, it's gonna be memorable and it's gonna push. Right,
you have to have a good villain, and Phil gave
you some of that, even if it didn't translate into
the yond the course battles with Tiger, like you at
least had a guy to name VJ. Singh for a bit.
