Speaker 1 (00:01):
You're listening to Fox Sports Radio Radio, living the dream
once again here on a fully loaded sports Saturday.

Speaker 2 (00:08):
This is Fox Sports Saturday, and we're broadcasting live from
the Fox Sports Radio studios.

Speaker 3 (00:15):
And Anita is back.

Speaker 2 (00:17):
Which is a good thing, Anita, because a week ago,
you know, we just sort of get started with conversation. Actually,
you know, we're out of here, so we always have
a very short amount of time to do a lot
of things. How are you for your big Saturday here?

Speaker 4 (00:31):
I'm great. I just got back from Miami. I was
down there visiting family, had a few business meetings, and
I was born and raised down there, so I've lived
up here in New York for like the last fifteen years.
I'll tell you what Miami is freaking hot, Steve.

Speaker 3 (00:46):
Yeah, like like.

Speaker 4 (00:48):
Like I don't even and like I was born and
raised down there, like you know, whatever your political affiliation is,
like like don't, I don't care. Like global warming is real.
It's it is so hot. Not only is it hot, Steve,
you have to walk around with sunglasses because it's not

(01:08):
only is it hot, but it's so bright that you
that your eyes hurt.

Speaker 2 (01:15):
I have I was on my honeymoon forty years ago there.

Speaker 4 (01:22):
Well I was show, well we're going to the honeymoon.

Speaker 2 (01:26):
Well, we had a Royal Caribbean cruise that came out.

Speaker 3 (01:29):
Of Miami, so we feel like we fly to Miami. Now.

Speaker 2 (01:33):
I have been all over the country, and I have
experienced humidity before, Midwest humidity. I mean, there's different types.
And I went we went down to Miami, and I
remember we had one night in Miami and then got
onto the cruise ship the next day and we were
standing outside a club and we weren't moving, and I

(01:55):
am literally like in a shower of my own sweat,
Like I I you don't think I'd ever had that
feeling before of not even having to move and literally
just drowning in sweat from the humility.

Speaker 4 (02:10):
Welcome, Welcome to Miami.

Speaker 3 (02:12):
I don't forget that, you know, as will.

Speaker 4 (02:14):
Smith so So said in his song, Yeah, well how
about this.

Speaker 2 (02:21):
I went back to Phoenix, as you know, I go
back and forth with Phoenix a lot, and so I
got back in Phoenix on Wednesday.

Speaker 3 (02:27):
One hundred and seventeen degrees.

Speaker 2 (02:29):
But it's a dry heat, you know what they said.
It's a dry heat. Yeah, that's I love that dry heat.
It's an oven heat. It is just an inferno, all right. Well, uh,
you know they had an inferno at Wimbledon. I want
to I'm want to start off a little Wimbledon today
because you know, this was quite a story about this
American Amanda and a Samova, who you know, a quick

(02:51):
tennis Essentially two years ago, she had basically had a
total burnout. She had gotten to the French Open semis
as an eighteen year old back in twenty nineteen. She
was being touted as a potential new star for the
United States. Her parents are from Russia, but she was
born in the United States, and she got burned out
and she just quit. And so this is sort of

(03:14):
a two year comeback and she beats Saba Link in
the semi. So she finally gets this opportunity, you know,
where a lot of people thought she was going to
be making it to a Grand Slam final, and she's
taken on fiantech and this was unreal.

Speaker 3 (03:31):
Can you I'm trying to.

Speaker 2 (03:33):
Get in the head when you lose on the biggest
stage in tennis, which is a Wimbledon final, and you
lose six love, six love in the final, and this
has a this only happened one time ever at Wimbledon,
and I did not see this. Some people think I'm

(03:54):
old enough to have seen it. It was a nineteen eleven.
It is the only time ever a double goose egg
in a women's final at Wimbledon.

Speaker 3 (04:02):
I just can't imagine what was going through her head.
Did you watch? I watched.

Speaker 4 (04:08):
I was gonna ask you did you did you?

Speaker 5 (04:10):
Did you watch it?

Speaker 3 (04:11):
Because she just did not look right, like no, she
was beating herself up.

Speaker 2 (04:15):
And this I was concerned because again, remember she she
basically quit the sport two years ago because she couldn't
handle the mental game and everything else. And I hope
that what happened today is not going to set her back.
But I mean, it was there for the world to
see six love, six love less than an hour, and

(04:36):
you get humiliated on the biggest stage of tennis, which
is a Wimbledon final. That just got to be brutal.

Speaker 4 (04:43):
It was, and listen, it was brutal to watch because
I watched it as well. I know that we have
like a three hour difference here, so.

Speaker 6 (04:53):
You know.

Speaker 4 (04:53):
I I played pickleball this morning, and I came home
and I hung out in my backyard with my beautiful pool,
and I was eating my wonderful chicken salad for lunch,
and I was really excited to tune into this and
this was gonna be my my afternoon appetizer. And and

(05:14):
I sat there and like, I was just like, what
is going on? What is wrong with her? She just
looked like a different play And I've been following her
throughout the tournament, and like something something has gone wrong right,
like like like watching her today compared to if you've
been watching her and following her through the tournament, like

(05:36):
and and I hate, like I hate to say it,
but you know, stuff happens right, like a breakup, an
issue personally, Like she just did not look like herself today.

Speaker 3 (05:51):
Okay, I need it, and.

Speaker 4 (05:52):
I don't want to sit here and make excuses for her.
But that is not the player Steve that we've seen
play no past week. No, it was not her who
took the court today.

Speaker 2 (06:05):
I have to ask you this because obviously you're an
athlete and you've played sports and everything else. But it
just seems that we get more of this going on
right now in tennis. Look at Osaka. I mean, you know,
she she won four Grand Slam tournaments and basically walked away,
burned out, burned out.

Speaker 3 (06:21):
Now she's trying to make a comeback at this point.
And I don't.

Speaker 2 (06:24):
Remember this back in the day, you know, I mean,
we this idea of these mental burnouts. We see more
and more athletes now citing the fact that they can't
handle mentally the pressures of playing sports at the highest level.

Speaker 4 (06:41):
Are you opening are you opening this door for us
to run through right now, Steve? Because of our age?

Speaker 3 (06:47):
Well, I'm just I'm just I'm I.

Speaker 2 (06:49):
Know where you're going, am I Is this a difference, Steve?
I mean, why why are okay, why are we having
this now? We did have it years ago.

Speaker 4 (07:01):
I mean because we didn't have we didn't have safe
spaces in college on our college campuses, we didn't have
like trophies for participation, right, Like, we didn't have like
any of this, Like, like, you know, there's something to
be said about losing. There's something to be said about

(07:25):
trial and tribulation that I don't think like the last
ten year of athlete has really had to go through,
right And on top of everyone, you.

Speaker 2 (07:36):
Realize is so little sympathy for them when they're making
millions and millions and millions of dollars. So the average
person watching these athletes, when they claim that it's too much,
they're they're like, really, you've made in one year before
your age of twenty, more than I'm gonna make a lifetime,
and you're burned out.

Speaker 3 (07:57):
See, people don't under they don't get it.

Speaker 2 (08:00):
So I don't know, maybe you can get inside their
head and give me a little something here on why
it is happening now. And well you're citing some reasons again,
pampered at at a level that we've never seen.

Speaker 3 (08:12):
And you know I can say this on my own
twenties side, why don't.

Speaker 4 (08:16):
We have why don't we have dodgeball in elementary school anymore?

Speaker 3 (08:19):
Yeah?

Speaker 4 (08:20):
Right, yeah, like like the whole Like you know, you know,
I grew up in an age where you know, I participated.
I played soccer, I played softball, and I was blessed
with with genetically athletic talent where I was always either
the captain or the first or second best player on

(08:40):
the team. And you know, whether I came to a
practice or not, I always played because the name of
the game is winning, right, Where the last ten to
fifteen years has been like, oh, well, this player came
to every practice that player did not. Even though the
player that did not come to the practice is the

(09:02):
better player, they're not going to start. They're not going
to play because this other player who's not as good
as that one came to every Like.

Speaker 5 (09:09):
That's where we're at.

Speaker 4 (09:10):
It's not all about winning, right. So there's no more
dodgeball in elementary school, right because, for a variety of reasons,
everybody gets a trophy for participating, as opposed to you
only get a trophy for winning. It's a different mentality
now growing up. And then there's a whole nother element

(09:31):
in regard to social media Steve that I think adds
a lot of pressure to a lot of athletes well.

Speaker 2 (09:39):
And especially body shaming women and Anisimova was getting, you know,
for a better term, I get fat shame, which is ridiculous,
but I mean this was something that was going on
in her world a couple of years ago, which is ridiculous.
I mean we're talking about a girl in her early twenties.

(10:01):
I don't know, I just how do you stay away
from the social media if you're an athlete?

Speaker 3 (10:05):
I mean think you can?

Speaker 4 (10:06):
How can you can? What it's it's it's what listen,
I just started a podcast. I just started a show
in March. I launched it during March madness. It's been
an education to me. It's it's the way of the
world now right like like like, with all due respect,
I love doing the show with you, but like more

(10:27):
people are consuming their their media, whether it's it's it's
TV radio, like, more people are are are consuming their
media via social So I don't and and especially at
her age, how can you not stay off it?

Speaker 3 (10:48):
Well, I have a twenty four year old daughter, so
I am. And you know that than you know I do.

Speaker 2 (10:52):
I mean she's you know, same group, same age exactly,
and in fact born the same year. And I know
how act of my daughter is on social media and
everything else. I mean, it's just it's unfortunate. I was
dying for her because you could see that she was
our head.

Speaker 4 (11:09):
Was being out the same.

Speaker 3 (11:13):
Unforced harriers.

Speaker 2 (11:14):
And of course let's not let's not forget that San
Tech played a perfect match. I mean, she has struggled
at Wimbledon, She's won four French Opens, she's won the
USO too. You never really had done anything. One quarterfinal
run is all she had to show for her previous
Wimbledon appearances.

Speaker 3 (11:31):
But she steamrolled her.

Speaker 2 (11:33):
So it's a combination of Anisimova obviously struggling with her
own game and then Santech just you know, playing a
perfect match, and literally that was the end result.

Speaker 7 (11:44):
All right.

Speaker 2 (11:45):
A little bit later on, we're gonna break down the
men's final tomorrow between Acarez and Sinner. But coming up
on the other start, we're gonna check in on the
latest NFL news, folks. We are less than three weeks
away top from the first NFL preseason. The Hall of
Fame game is coming up in let's do the count

(12:06):
right now, that would be nineteen days, so we are
that close to having NFL football. We're gonna check in
with our insider Adam Kaplan. This is Fox Sports Saturday.

Speaker 2 (13:39):
As I mentioned Anita, we are now nineteen days away
from the very first preseason NFL game for the twenty
twenty five season, and that will be the Hall of
Fame game. Joining us right now, a Hall of famer
in our who knows, maybe someday he will get honored
by the Pro Football Hall of Fame.

Speaker 3 (13:59):
He should if.

Speaker 2 (14:00):
They recognize the work that he has done over these
many years. The great Adam Kaplan is joining us right now,
by the way. Speaking to Adam, we're obviously going to
talk about what's going on right now getting ready for
the season. But I saw Dominic and Sue retired, which
news to me because he hadn't played a game since
twenty twenty two. But I guess, you know, three years
to think about it, he finally retired. We know that

(14:22):
in two thousand and nine he should have won the
Heisman Trophy. He should have won the Heisman. It was
a very weird four four player cluster between mark Ingram,
Toby Gerhart, Colt McCoy and Dominic and Sue.

Speaker 3 (14:33):
But I never you have I remember all these things.

Speaker 2 (14:36):
But anyway, but Sue to me should have been the
Heisman Trophy winner that year. And then of course he
made an immediate impact with the Lions. Ironically, of course
he finished his career as an Eagle. But what in
your mind is the legacy of Endomic and Sue And
did he accomplish enough in his pro career to earn
a ticket in Canton someday.

Speaker 9 (14:57):
Typically, Steve, you kind of know when a guy's Hall
of Famer and whatever sport is without looking you know,
your initial point, initial point is probably most likely going
to be correct when you're thinking about it.

Speaker 7 (15:07):
I don't think he's all a famer. He's on that
the rung below.

Speaker 9 (15:10):
It's just a really good football player, very physical, tough, intimidating.

Speaker 7 (15:14):
I mean I remember working on that.

Speaker 9 (15:16):
Draft of the twenty ten draft and gathering information on
Hi from Nebraska.

Speaker 7 (15:20):
He was tough with his teammates.

Speaker 10 (15:22):
Man.

Speaker 9 (15:22):
He uh, they can intimidate not only the opponents but
his teammates. But he was a very physical player, very
tough guy, good football player. You know, it's a shame
that he never experienced a turnaround of the line that
the Lions had, which is really incredible. You know, they've
been the darling really the last three seasons and in
the decades of suffering for the fans.

Speaker 7 (15:40):
And he he remember he did play with Stafford.

Speaker 9 (15:43):
They did get Stafford, right, and then of course they
trade him, but they got Stafford well.

Speaker 2 (15:46):
I also remember the playoff game against the Cowboys and
he was held yes, and.

Speaker 3 (15:51):
There was a no call with Jim Schwartz. Yeah, yeah,
it Look, he was there.

Speaker 9 (15:56):
For a long time and they just didn't win enough.
But a good football player, but he's not a Hall
of Famer. You know.

Speaker 4 (16:05):
I feel like each and every day we're hearing more
and more about Aaron Rodgers. He's at a golf tournament
and he's like and he's he's like a guy who's
asking for his autograph. Like, what what are your expectations
the Pittsburgh Sailers this year?

Speaker 9 (16:21):
Adam, Well, they didn't make the playoffs last year. You
wouldn't know it by the way the season closed, but
they did make it. They're one of the wild cards
in the the If you look at the future number,
I mean it's it's gone up a little bit. It's
the over now is really the play at at eight
and a half and they'll probably be some more on
nine or ten wins, it's pretty much, you know, they

(16:42):
never have a losing record.

Speaker 7 (16:44):
But and then look, we.

Speaker 9 (16:45):
Talked about the trade last week getting Smith and Ramsey
and that that will certainly helped them, no question about it.
But at forty one and a half years old, you
have to question, I know, talking to the Jets last season,
really what Rogers had to play through that season. Look,
did they protect them? Well, no, they didn't run the
ball as well as they would have liked. Or they
fired the offense coordinator, and then they head coach who

(17:07):
fired the offense coordinators fired, then GM was fired. So
it was a total mess last season. But Nita, I
just don't know what he has left. It's pretty remarkable
that he didn't miss a game last season, but he
just didn't look like himself now if physically ready to go,
I know they're they're happy to have him that this
is their big move of the season in terms of
getting someone at quarterback. But this is a one year solution.

(17:30):
It's not like they have Mason Rudolph's the backup. They
kind of know who he is. We've talked about Steve
and I have talked about.

Speaker 7 (17:35):
Him for a while. But in the end, Nita to
move this along here.

Speaker 9 (17:40):
He's a guy that's very close to the ni of
his career and that's and that's the way he played.
Let's face it, that's the way he played last season.
A guy that's almost at the end, all right.

Speaker 2 (17:48):
You know, winning is a sure way for either a
coach or a general manager to maintain their job. Sure,
losing is usually assured ticket to look for another line
of work. However, in Chicago, apparently losing is winning for
Ryan Pohls, the general manager who had two years or
maining on his five year deal, and by the way,

(18:10):
since he took over, the Bears have a record of
fifteen and thirty six, and he gets a five year
extension on his deal. Now lines up with Ben Johnson,
of course, the new coach who has a contract to
the twenty twenty nine season. Give us the give us
the mindset of the Bears right now, saying, yeah, we
can't lose this guy, who again, we are fifteen and

(18:33):
thirty six since he took over as our general manager,
even though he had two years ormaining on the contract,
We're not going to take any chances. We're going to
extend it another five years. Get us inside the building,
and everyone listening out there is like, where can I
sign up for a deal?

Speaker 9 (18:50):
Like, here's actually why they did it, Steve, Actually, the
real reason why they did is you and this. I
learned this when I had a pretty significant scoop this
a long time ago. But Phil Savage on her Phil Savage,
who announce a consultant for the Jets, and Romo Cornell
is the head coach of the Browns.

Speaker 7 (19:04):
I put a scoop out that.

Speaker 9 (19:07):
Savage's contract goes way further than Cornell and the agent.
You know, I called the agent, The agent said, talk
to the Browns. He wouldn't answer the question, but two
weeks later he got extension. Romo Cornell did because they
wanted to match it up. It's not really a good
thing if it gets out there that the general manager
has a much longer contract or the head coach. By

(19:29):
the way, in this case, Ben Johnson, who got a
five year deal, has a longer contract than the general manager.
It just you have to have them they and they
don't have to be friends. But the thing is you
got to have them concurrent. Why do you think the
Buccaneers did this with Chason Layton Todd Bowles. They have
them ending at the same time. Too often it gets
out in the media that, oh, the jam's got his

(19:49):
contract four years later than the head.

Speaker 7 (19:51):
Coach or two years. You can't have that.

Speaker 9 (19:53):
That's because that then what happens is the guy, the
guy feels like a lame duck.

Speaker 7 (19:58):
Whoever's got the shooter out of the stick and and
have that.

Speaker 9 (20:00):
It's very uncomfortable, particularly when the information gets out and
let's say it's the head coaches on the short end
of the stick.

Speaker 7 (20:06):
He's going to be asked by the media. You don't
want that. That's a big reason why they did this.

Speaker 3 (20:09):
Are they on the right track?

Speaker 9 (20:11):
It's a great question. Poles was super aggressive this offseason.
I mean he made the trade obviously with the bear
with the Panthers. He got a lot of value for it.
Now you have to remember, under Ryan Paced, the former
general matter, things that had really gone awry. He missed
badly and Mitch Trubisky, so that set them back and
they didn't have a very good roster. And Pols took

(20:31):
over the football team and he's had to sort of
take this thing and flip it. Now, I'll say this
about Ryan Poles. He had missed on their offensive line,
and he missed with their edge rushers. That was the
word around the league.

Speaker 7 (20:45):
So what did he do?

Speaker 9 (20:46):
You got three new interior offensive linemen. Joe Tooney who
got handled in the Super Bowl playing left tackle for
the Chiefs because they didn't have a left tackle. He
got traded and he got his contract extended with the Bears.
It's Andrew Dolman coming over from Atlanta. They traded for
Jona Jackson and got bench by the Rams, so they're
rebuilding it. They surprise a lot of people want the
tight end in the first round. It there's talent on

(21:09):
this roster. Are they on the right path? I would
say yes. It's a great question because I think some
of the Bears frants are wondering. But let's see about
Ben Shotson, who I'm a fan of. I don't know him,
but I think he did a phenomenal job with the Lions.
But he's a guy that coaches real hard. He's in
your face. As someone who used to work with him
told me, it's not going to take long to know
if it's going to work with Ben Johtson and his players.

Speaker 4 (21:31):
There's two teams that you could get some really good
value with right now to say yes, they're going to
make the playoffs. One, believe it or not, is the
Box even though they finished ten to seven, I.

Speaker 7 (21:44):
Think that there is one in the division.

Speaker 4 (21:46):
Yeah, right, and they won exactly. I think a lot
of people are really high on the Atlanta Falcons right now.
With Pennix right Pennocks junior. But you can still get
the Tampa Bay Bucks for winning that division at like
minus one fifty minus one I saw yesterday. Yeah, yeah,
I mean some really good value in that, and I

(22:06):
think Baker Mayfield and them are going to make some noise.
But really, the team that I'm really really high on
and you could get it plus money, is the Denver
Broncos to make the playoffs, let alone possibly win the
AFC West at plus money. Out of those two futures, bets, Adam,
what do you like the most?

Speaker 7 (22:26):
Well, see, let me start with Tampa Bay. Let me
explain something.

Speaker 9 (22:29):
So this just came out the Tristian Wurf's information with
his he had a setback with his knee surgery, so
he almost certainly will not be ready for the start
of season. Very strong candidate to go miss the first
four games.

Speaker 7 (22:42):
To go on pup. They don't have a backup left tackle.

Speaker 9 (22:46):
Charlie Hack who remember Andy Hack who is the Chiefs
offensive line coach. His son Charlie is the backup right
tackle left tackle. He's gonna have to play left tackle.
That's a major problem for a blocking He's the blindside protector.
Wors is for a right handed quarterback. That does worry
me a little bit. It's hard to find left tackles
that Anita kind of evens things up a little bit.

(23:08):
Now with Denver. The problem that Denver has is sure
they were Steves picked last year, and there's a great,
great thing. They made the playoffs as a wildcard, the
last wildcard of ten to seven. But the Chargers are
looking good. They were eleven and six. We could say
what we want about the Chiefs until somebody knocks them
off in that division. They're still the kings of that
division and at the very least, if not one of

(23:28):
the best teams they havec Now, what I would tell
you we need is in terms of making the making
the playoff prop. I think it's a pretty good one
right now. If all three of us had to turn in,
if we had to turn them on July twelfth, who
are a playoff teams? I got Buffalo, Baltimore, Houston, Kansas City,

(23:49):
the Chargers, reluctantly Pittsburgh just because there's that's guys. Someone's
got to be a seventh, probably Denver. It's just not
for the AFC is not very strong anymore.

Speaker 2 (24:02):
No, well, I mean again, health you know the Bengals
are a big question mark because I mean, you gotta
gotta you gotta have some defense. By the way, as
we go here, you're not gonna believe this. Apparently I
been alerted by my TV station. They want me to
go out Thursday to the uh Bolt facility.

Speaker 7 (24:22):
Home of the Chargers and been there last summer.

Speaker 2 (24:24):
In else of course, where my home was working for
the Raiders way back in the day.

Speaker 3 (24:29):
That's where we were based.

Speaker 7 (24:31):
Is that right. I didn't know that.

Speaker 3 (24:32):
Yeah it was.

Speaker 2 (24:33):
It was a converted else Junior High school. I know,
yes it was. It was on Center Street and it
was a junior high school they had closed down and
those where that's those that's where our offices were.

Speaker 3 (24:45):
So I didn't even know where else a Gunna was.

Speaker 2 (24:47):
I remember, they're like else, I go, where's else a
gun They go to the airport, and like next to
the airport.

Speaker 3 (24:53):
Where in the valley in the valley.

Speaker 7 (24:56):
You don't know where else Ada was.

Speaker 2 (24:58):
You believe me, if you grew up in the valley
in those days, that's like the other side of the world.

Speaker 3 (25:02):
I got, okay. So when they said I go, really,
I mean, I know Manhattan Beach.

Speaker 7 (25:06):
They go.

Speaker 3 (25:06):
Yeah, it's like in between.

Speaker 2 (25:09):
And I know that the Brett brothers went there. George
Brett went too else Again school back in the day.
So I will I'll drop your name because if Dean
Spandle sees me there, he will definitely throw me out
of the building.

Speaker 3 (25:21):
That I promise you. All Right, we got so it's
hard to believe, isn't it? Nineteen days? Nineteen days?

Speaker 7 (25:27):
Still?

Speaker 3 (25:27):
Yeah?

Speaker 7 (25:27):
The was the Lions. Who are the Lions playing in
the Chargers?

Speaker 3 (25:31):
Chargers? That's why I'm going out to charge Thursday.

Speaker 2 (25:33):
They get Wait, so you haven't been there to the
I had never been to the new Els again they did.

Speaker 9 (25:38):
It's really interesting. It's in back of sort of like
an office complex. Se you go down, I remember distinctly
right in front of me, I might I remember making
a right and I drove down on the right side.
And it's kind of cool because if the Chargers, they're
at that that Jack Hamot Park in Orange County for
a number of years. Yeah, and this is they have
their own facility filing.

Speaker 3 (25:59):
That's pretty I can't wait.

Speaker 2 (26:00):
I can't wait to see it. Great stuff as always, Adam,
We'll talk to again next week.

Speaker 7 (26:05):
Good thank you.

Speaker 2 (26:05):
That's Adam Kaplan, our NFL insider there. Yeah, I Needa
when I when I head there. If indeed I'm heading
there on Thursday, it will literally be my first trip
like inside El Segundo since nineteen.

Speaker 3 (26:21):
Eighty eight.

Speaker 2 (26:22):
What that's when I left the Raider job. So I
worked for the Raiders from eighty four to eighty eight,
the LA Raiders, and that's where officers are in Elsion.

Speaker 3 (26:31):
I never returned.

Speaker 2 (26:32):
Well that's not true. Maybe I had a couple of
quick looks. They stayed in La through ninety four, But
it's been a long time.

Speaker 4 (26:40):
Were you tight with al?

Speaker 3 (26:42):
I was.

Speaker 2 (26:43):
As a matter of fact, I can show you my
last game working for the Raider. You're not gonna believe.
I'll tell you the story on the other side, because
right now we need to find out what is trending.
Manzi's here, Monzi, you're here, I am here. I was like,
is it Sunday?

Speaker 11 (27:00):
No, not to confuse you, you're wearing your polo for Saturdays.

Speaker 2 (27:03):
I have my Saturday as opposed to my U C
L A pole.

Speaker 3 (27:06):
Yeah, feeling Anita that I wear the exact same.

Speaker 5 (27:10):
It's like a uniform for him. Like, no, I'm not
kidding girls.

Speaker 3 (27:13):
Everything I wear is a uniform. I have enough shirts
for each day in the week.

Speaker 11 (27:20):
If you're confused what day it is, just look at
Hartman's shirt and then you'll be like, Okay, today, I know.

Speaker 3 (27:27):
I have literally zero excess in my life. Like everything
I ate a bathing suit.

Speaker 4 (27:33):
I just I came straight from my pool to the microphone.
Then you're so jealous and you just do the show
from your pool.

Speaker 5 (27:40):
Just flow and do it from your pool.

Speaker 4 (27:43):
If I if I had an extension cord that long,
I probably would, But why not?

Speaker 8 (27:48):
Why not?

Speaker 6 (27:49):
All right?

Speaker 5 (27:49):
Happy to be hanging out with you guys on this Saturday.
Let me tell you what's going on.

Speaker 11 (27:53):
The Dodgers one one, snapping their seven game losing streak.

Speaker 5 (27:57):
That's right.

Speaker 11 (27:57):
They edged the Giants in San Francisco two to one.
Show Hey a Tani pitched three innings, gave up one hit,
four strikeouts, one walk.

Speaker 5 (28:04):
Don't ask me what he did at the plate.

Speaker 11 (28:05):
Moving on, the Mariners rolled past the Tigers fifteen to seven.
The Twins Crews passed the Pirates twelve to four. Pittsburgh
has lost eight in a row. Byron Buston, though for Minnesota,
hit for the cycle and was perfect from the plate
five of five. The Braves edged the Cardinals seven six.
The Marlin shut out the Oriel six to zero. The
hottest team probably right now in baseball the Red Sox.
They've won nine in a row. They edged the Rays

(28:27):
one zero. Garrett Crochet pitched a complete shutout, giving up
only three hits and striking out nine.

Speaker 5 (28:34):
And even though the Yankees.

Speaker 11 (28:35):
Lost to the Cups five to two, Aaron Judge did
hit home run number three hundred and fifty, becoming the
fastest player to do it in baseball in history. He
did in one thousand and eighty eight games, surpassing Mark
maguire who did in one thousand, two hundred and eighty games,
So almost two hundred game difference there. Right now, the
Rockies and the Reds are tied at three apiece. Bottom

(28:55):
of the ninth inning in Cincinnati, the Guardians have a
forty two lead for the White Sox. In Chicago, bottom
of the seventh, Juan Soto with a two run homer.
That's all the Mets have done, and right now they're
still on top of the Royals to one. Bottom of
the eighth inning, the Nationals have a five to three
lead over the Brews in Milwaukee.

Speaker 5 (29:11):
It is the top of the ninth inning NBA news.

Speaker 11 (29:14):
Well, Rockets guard Fred Van Vliet has been elected as
a new president of the National Basketball Players Association, succeeding CJ.

Speaker 5 (29:22):
McCollum. It's a four year term. But the big news
out of the NBA is that.

Speaker 11 (29:26):
Clay Thompson has confirmed that he is dating rapper Meghan
the Stallion.

Speaker 5 (29:30):
Guys, that is the big news.

Speaker 3 (29:32):
Okay, Okay, now I understand this.

Speaker 5 (29:35):
Uh nuts, the big confirms.

Speaker 3 (29:38):
Okay, whoa whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa whoa? Now is it confirmed?

Speaker 5 (29:42):
It's on his Instagram.

Speaker 11 (29:43):
It is absolutely her, all right, there is no way
it's not her.

Speaker 3 (29:48):
Okay.

Speaker 2 (29:48):
And as you know, Moncey Anita, I have known Clay
Thompson because of working with his father since he was
fourteen years old. That's in fact, his brother Trace, who
was thirteen at the time. I took the boys to
a Tiger's game when I was covering the NBA Finals
in Detroit back in two thousand and four.

Speaker 3 (30:09):
And you know, yes, yeah, I'm still it's unbelievable.

Speaker 2 (30:16):
I see these guys, right, you know, all these years
later and it's like twenty years later, and they just
look at me, like, you remember when we went to
the baseball I go, yeah, I remember, I paid and
your father didn't show up for the game, and I
was stuck titching.

Speaker 3 (30:28):
You guys paying for everything? Can't you?

Speaker 2 (30:30):
I think you can afford to pay me a little
something back. Wonderful family. But his father, Michael, was interviewed
the other day about this story that was out a
couple of days ago, and his response when talking about
making the stallion was who's that? He had absolutely no idea.
He goes, I never heard of her.

Speaker 5 (30:48):
He's playing the game.

Speaker 2 (30:49):
And then no, I'm telling him, Michael's not playing a game.
You know, he's not tuned in to any of that.
And then when they showed him a picture of her,
he goes, She's seems nice. And then they.

Speaker 3 (31:03):
Asked him, you know, because Clay's nice. She seems nice.

Speaker 2 (31:07):
And then he was saying that, they said, well, how
do you know, because Clay's actually dated a few celebrities, right,
And his response was I guess a normal dad response like, well,
he's he's an adult, he can day to wherever he wants.

Speaker 3 (31:19):
Yeah, no, of.

Speaker 5 (31:20):
Course, I mean I'm into it.

Speaker 4 (31:22):
I'm into it.

Speaker 11 (31:22):
I love that the internet sleuths caused them to come
out on their relationship, finding him in the background of
her picture, right, you know that's how this all started,
like three four days ago.

Speaker 5 (31:32):
Yeah, that's how it started. People pay attention to the.

Speaker 4 (31:34):
Back and she just didn't. She just have like a performance,
like like I remember, like I maybe been like a
day or two days ago, she had like a performance.
She was wearing like this like really sexy silver outfit.

Speaker 3 (31:46):
Well, when is she not wearing something sex?

Speaker 11 (31:48):
I think you're actually talking about the picture of the
swimsuit picture.

Speaker 5 (31:52):
Yeah, that's like silver.

Speaker 8 (31:53):
Yeah.

Speaker 5 (31:53):
No, she always looks great.

Speaker 4 (31:54):
She looks great always.

Speaker 11 (31:55):
Yeah, that's what Michael Thompson meant by oh that she
seems nice.

Speaker 3 (31:59):
She seems to.

Speaker 7 (32:01):
That's Michael.

Speaker 3 (32:02):
You have to know Michael to understand where.

Speaker 4 (32:04):
That's going your home for dinner.

Speaker 3 (32:05):
Clay, Yeah, he doesn't care about that.

Speaker 2 (32:08):
The thing that Michael, honestly, the thing Michael loves the
best about Clay's riches and everything is that he has
a private chef, and so when he sees his son
goes a visit, he goes, I can order what I want.

Speaker 12 (32:22):
That's what I would do if I had unlimited money
to get yourself a private.

Speaker 2 (32:25):
Chefs Clay Thompson as a private chef. And so when
Michael visits Clay, you know, he's like, I think.

Speaker 4 (32:32):
Great, that's what you would spend your money on as
a private.

Speaker 3 (32:34):
Among other things, that would be one of the first things.

Speaker 4 (32:37):
Because we've got like door dash, we've got.

Speaker 3 (32:42):
Think about the wheel.

Speaker 12 (32:45):
It tastes incredible and that it's just set for every
real Steve, Wait, really quick, Steve, when when Clay dropped
thirty seven in a quarter did he did he devote that?

Speaker 3 (32:55):
Did he you know, say, dedicated to me? Yeah?

Speaker 2 (32:59):
I mean I remember the Warriors were in, you know,
play what was then known Staples Center to play the Lakers,
and he was there, actually the Thompson family was there
after the game, and I'm standing ready to do a
live shop for TV and I hear this, hey mister Harbon,
and I'm like looking around, I'm like, oh, Clay, don't
do that to me.

Speaker 3 (33:19):
Now You're killing me.

Speaker 2 (33:20):
All right, Well, Monzyne, thank you very much. Lots going
on today. Once again, a reminder, we're in the Fox

Speaker 2 (33:42):
So be sure to preset Fox Sports Radio on the
iHeartRadio app. It will always pop up at the top
of your screen. So, Nita, I just sent you a
video you did yes on the I just texted you something.
It says NFL Maverick and you can see ala. Now,
this was Al Davis at the old Mile High Stadium.

Speaker 3 (34:04):
In nineteen eighty eight. It was Monday night football.

Speaker 2 (34:07):
Mike Shanahan was the new coach, and he is talking
and you're going to see someone lean into the picture
blocking his view.

Speaker 3 (34:16):
At the end of this video, you're drinking a bottle
of water and.

Speaker 2 (34:19):
That's I'm drinking a PEPSI I think it is because
that person is me as I lean into the shot
to block him from being seen on Monday Night football.

Speaker 3 (34:28):
Heresty I had a lot of hair right there.

Speaker 2 (34:30):
Well, you know, I say have hair that is nineteen
eighty eight and it was my last game working for
the Raiders. In fact, they came back from a twenty
four to nothing deficit to win that game in overtime
thirty to twenty seven.

Speaker 3 (34:46):
And I'm not making this up.

Speaker 2 (34:47):
Mike Shanahan or new coach, was so excited and understanding
it was my last game working.

Speaker 3 (34:53):
For the Raiders. I got a game ball. I actually
got a game ball.

Speaker 4 (35:00):
Where is that right now?

Speaker 2 (35:01):
It's in my house and it's painted and it has
the score. It's like a painted football like you see,
you know, players get game balls.

Speaker 3 (35:09):
I got a game ball that was very awesome.

Speaker 4 (35:12):
So I was do you have do you have a
man cave?

Speaker 3 (35:15):
No? Well, sort of sort of. I have my own
play Nita.

Speaker 2 (35:21):
I can't do this all on the air right now,
Monsi's laughing because she's been to my house and and
she she knows my story. So she's like, there's nothing
normal about my life. Okay, not not a normal path
at all. I just marched my own two. So that's

(35:42):
the deal. Anyway.

Speaker 3 (35:44):
That that being.

Speaker 2 (35:44):
Said, by the way, speaking of the Raiders, the Raiders,
I want to ask you this because I, you know,
a year ago and we were talking to Adam Kaplan
I made that bold prediction before the season began last
year on the record that the Broncos were going to
make the playoffs with the rookie quarterback Bo Nicks. It

(36:05):
is so rare, Aneda, that I am right on a
long shot like that.

Speaker 3 (36:08):
But I was right on that one. But the team
that really intrigues me this year is the Raiders. And
you say, well, you're a Raider guy. I was. I'm
not a Raider guy.

Speaker 2 (36:17):
I was a Raider guy when I worked for the Raiders,
you know, one hundred years ago. But I'm not a
Raider guy. But I'm just you know, you've got Pete
Carroll's your coach.

Speaker 3 (36:25):
That's an upgrade. That's a major upgrade.

Speaker 2 (36:28):
You know, you have a quarterback that is actually proven
he could play at a high level in the NFL.
Jeno Smith, you got the number one running back guy.
I voted for the Heisman, Ashton Gent. You have a
Heisman vote and I voted gent number one over Travis Hunter.
And they got the best young tied end. It looks
like one year into the league he's headed for the
Hall of Fame someday.

Speaker 3 (36:49):
I are you a believer at all in the Raiders?
Are they a.

Speaker 2 (36:53):
Play right now to maybe sneak into the postseason? I mean,
they got to have long odds.

Speaker 3 (36:59):
Right when.

Speaker 4 (37:01):
How much time do we have before I'll tell.

Speaker 2 (37:03):
You what we're gonna do this on the other side, Okay,
so I'm gonna I wanted to throw it out there.

Speaker 3 (37:07):
Okay, just hold that rightly.

Speaker 2 (37:10):
Okay, you think about that because when you come back
and you'll be on the record, Anita, So I understand that,
all right, So I'm going.

Speaker 3 (37:18):
To hold you to this one. This is Fox Sports Saturday.

Speaker 1 (37:25):
You're listening to Fox Sports Radio, Steve Harbin, Anita Marks here,
Fox Sports Saturday.

Speaker 2 (37:31):
We're coming live from the Fox Sports Radio studios. All right,
So I gave Anita plenty of time to think about
whether or not the Raiders are a good long shot
play to get into the playoffs. I mean, honestly, since
going to their last Super Bowl, the humiliating loss they
suffered after the two thousand and two season to the

(37:54):
Tampa Bay Bucketeers.

Speaker 3 (37:56):
It has been rough rough for the Raiders.

Speaker 2 (38:01):
They haven't had many winning seasons, very few playoff appearances,
haven't won a playoff game since.

Speaker 3 (38:06):
So is that there are a chance with all the moves.

Speaker 2 (38:09):
They have made anita that this is the year the
Raiders finally break through and gets things right.

Speaker 4 (38:17):
Listen, I'm cheering for them to do so, right, Like
you know, I think the whole scenario is very interesting.
With Pete Carroll what is he seventy?

Speaker 2 (38:25):
What seventy seventy something, Yeah, he's a young seventy.

Speaker 4 (38:29):
Though, okay, and Gino Smith who.

Speaker 3 (38:33):
Is seventy also, by the way, don't let the.

Speaker 4 (38:35):
Door hit you on the behind on your way out
of New York and then find success of course in Seattle,
and then now hopefully with Pete Carroll by the way, exactly,
so now these two reunite. You know you mentioned it right.
They add Ashton Genty to the mix on the defensive
side of the ball. Max Crosby, you know, he missed

(38:58):
some time because of injuries. He had and half sacks
in twelve games. Wilkins as well. Here's what I don't like.
The Raiders have the least amount the fewest of any
team in the NFL in regard to rest advantage. In fact,
they have the most rest disadvantage in the NFL this season,

(39:20):
and that is a really important nugget when you're handicapping
futures bets. And not only do they have the least
amount of rest advantage of all thirty two teams in
the NFL, they play the Patriots, Washington, and the Eagles
all on the East coast one o'clock game. Steve, Yeah,

(39:41):
So the NFL said, who up behind to the Raiders
in regard to their schedule. They have arguably in the
history of the NFL one of the worst schedules ever
in the history of the NFL this season.

Speaker 3 (39:55):
How is that possible?

Speaker 2 (39:57):
I mean, usually you would have that if you win
your division, because remember the schedules are all based on
where you finished the year before, whether you're at the
top of the division the bottom of the division. I
don't know why the Raiders get screwed up so bad.
By the way, Pete Carroll will turn seventy four in September.

Speaker 3 (40:13):
Seventy four in September, So there you go.

Speaker 4 (40:16):
I'll tell you the one bet that I do like
Brock Bauers, boy, that.

Speaker 3 (40:20):
DU's a Hall of Famer. He'll be in the Hall
of Fame.

Speaker 4 (40:22):
He's been kissed by God.

Speaker 2 (40:24):
You know.

Speaker 4 (40:25):
Now you've got an even better quarterback. I'd go over
receiving Europs for him the season. That would probably be
the only bet that I would make for the Raiders.

Speaker 3 (40:32):
All right, what will you do with Genti?

Speaker 2 (40:33):
I mean, obviously, when you draft a running back that
high in the draft and based on the insane numbers
he put up in college, could he be an immediate
superstar running back in the NFL?

Speaker 4 (40:44):
I think so. I think maybe you sprinkle on offensive
rookie of the year.

Speaker 3 (40:50):
Okay, all right, Oh I I don't know. I'm sensing
a little love for the Raiders right now. We'll see
about that. All right.

Speaker 2 (40:56):
We got much more coming up, including a breakdown of
NBA news.

Speaker 3 (40:59):
This is Fox Sports Saturday. You're listening to Fox Sports
Radio Radio.

Speaker 2 (41:05):
All right, rolling along here on another busy sports Saturday,
Fox Sports Saturday. We're broadcasting live from the Fox Sports
Radio studios.

Speaker 3 (41:14):
Our NBA insider Mark Medina.

Speaker 2 (41:16):
Is going to be joining us coming up here at
about twenty minutes or so.

Speaker 3 (41:20):
And Anita.

Speaker 2 (41:20):
He's in Vegas right now for the Summer League, so
he'll give us the full update of whatever job rough
job there. Although it is warm, like I said, now,
you had that sweltering heat down in Florida and I
told you about one seventeen on the dial there in Phoenix,
where I was for a couple of days this week,

(41:41):
so a little warm in Vegas.

Speaker 3 (41:43):
I was just in Palm Desert, Steve one seventeen as well.

Speaker 2 (41:45):
Yeah it's one seven. Yeah there's hot and then there's like,
forget it. Are you a Vegas fan? I mean like
going to Vegas, Anita, because obviously with your you know,
engagement in gambling community, I mean, it would seem natural
that Vegas would be a draw for you. But is

(42:05):
it because I've only been to Vegas like four million
times in my life.

Speaker 3 (42:10):
I mean, I love Las Vegas.

Speaker 2 (42:12):
You love Last Vegas. So let's have it very quickly here.
I give us a sense of if you're there. I mean,
it's one thing if you're there for work, obviously, but
if you're just there to have a good time, what
would the typical It's funny.

Speaker 4 (42:27):
I feel like I feel like the first question right,
and please everybody who has a mic, please chime in here.
I feel like the first question you ask is, Okay,
where do you stay?

Speaker 3 (42:38):
I think when you does it matter? Where you stay?

Speaker 7 (42:41):
Does matter?

Speaker 4 (42:42):
Because I think where you stay really is like indicative
of like, like, like how you experience Vegas, Like I
love the Cosmo, right right, I know, I know that
sounds bougie, but I just like the Cosmo in Vegas
does this thing where like every time you stay, it's
like they have they they take note of, like every

(43:02):
everything you order, the one that you like.

Speaker 2 (43:07):
See right now, any of you and I are on
totally opposite ends in the spectrum. I could care. I
have stated the biggest dives in Vegas. I've stayed at
some of the witziest rooms in Vegas. Where I stay
in Vegas because I'm not in my room, I'm like
out and about in Vegas.

Speaker 3 (43:25):
I'm not Yes, I just need a place to sleep.

Speaker 4 (43:28):
I'm out and about. But when I'm in my room,
I want to enjoy my room. Yes, so I so
I love the Cosmo. Yeah, I love doing all the pools,
love the shows, love the food. And I'm like, I'm
addicted to the Crops table like.

Speaker 2 (43:44):
Craps as well. Craps is the smart play. But I
see most people don't know how to play Craps. That's
the whole thing.

Speaker 5 (43:49):
I don't understand.

Speaker 2 (43:50):
I keep telling people, if you want the odds in
your favor, learn how to play craps.

Speaker 4 (43:56):
Okay, right, yes, and not only that, but it's it's
it's like and I've played sports, you've played. It's like
we're a team. It's odd against the casino. It's like
we're all a team and we're all like cheering for
one another. It's like, you know, you're not going up
against each other on a blackjack table. So it's just

(44:19):
and it's so fast, and it's so fun, and you
win so much money into a short period of time.

Speaker 2 (44:25):
Yes, you just you just you need not even close.
If you want to make money. You know, people are like,
oh I love the roulette wheel, Okay, just hand me
a catch. Playing blackjack, you're throwing money away. Occasionally you
get lucky. But if you really want to make money,
learn how to play craps.

Speaker 4 (44:44):
It's the probability of the guy exactly know it and
know how to play it good.

Speaker 3 (44:51):
I'm not surprised. I'm not surprised any of that. You're
that's sad to know, that, is it? Okay?

Speaker 2 (44:58):
So Medina is going to be joining us here before
we get to NBA talk though, I want to get
a little w NBA talk in again. Now we do
it Okay, so we were sitting here a week ago.

Speaker 4 (45:10):
Yeah, so a week ago, so tired of this crap?

Speaker 2 (45:14):
We were you you made we were in lockstep when
we made this comment a week ago on the show
that right now, right now, Kaylin Clark has a greater
impact on her sport than any current athlete has on
their sport. And it's not even close, nowhere close, nowhere close.

(45:37):
I mean, we're talking Jordan Esk, We're talking Tiger Woods,
we're talking Muhammad Ali. We're talking about one individual that
has raised the bar for her sport or his sport
at a level we never seen before.

Speaker 3 (45:55):
And it's not even close. And yet all.

Speaker 2 (45:58):
We continue to hear is petty jealousy. What are they
They had a polling of the players and they raided
her the ninth best guard in the league.

Speaker 4 (46:06):
It's ridiculous, the ninth.

Speaker 2 (46:08):
Best guard in the league. Remember how bad the Fever
were and that's why that's why.

Speaker 4 (46:14):
They got her.

Speaker 3 (46:15):
Yeah, hello, they had the.

Speaker 4 (46:17):
First Fever were able to draft Caitlyn.

Speaker 3 (46:20):
Okay, so so god awful. Okay, let me, I'm gonna
ask you, as a woman, are women plaid professionals? Okay?

Speaker 2 (46:28):
We know that there's jealousies at the highest levels in
all businesses. You know, why is so and so getting
that much money or this attention everything else.

Speaker 4 (46:38):
But it's different with women's.

Speaker 2 (46:41):
Okay, this is where I was going, but I didn't
want to say it. Explain, explain, Okay.

Speaker 4 (46:46):
Okay again for folks that are listening. I played women's
professional football for five years, and I played quarterback for
the Miami Fury in the Florida Sting Rays.

Speaker 3 (46:55):
And you got a lot of attention.

Speaker 4 (46:57):
I got a lot of attention. And I'm gonna go
one step further. I posed in Playboy back in two
thousand and it was right after unfortunately, it was right
after nine to eleven, yep. And so that compounded with
the fact that I played women's professional football, and oh,
by the way, I was the quarterback. I was getting

(47:17):
paid more than anyone else. I was getting more notoriety
than anyone else. Because of all the things combined, and
it made life very difficult for me with my teammates
and with the opponents and the teams we would play.
I mean, listen, Steve, I was down on the bottom
of the pile and there were women who were trying

(47:39):
to poke my eyes out and spitting in my face
through my face mask. You know, you trader. You know
I'd say other words, but this is a family show.
I can't share it, so I just And also I'll
go one step further, Steve, I find this in our
industry where men are different. Men aren't as caddie, men

(48:01):
are not as jealous, Men are more supportive of one
another in each other's careers than women. Where and my
mom used to use this phrase. I'm not sure if
you've ever heard of it, but it's called crabs in
a bucket.

Speaker 3 (48:15):
I don't know that, but I do now so and again.

Speaker 4 (48:19):
Being born and raised in Miami, you know, And if
anybody out there, if you're a fisherman and a fisher woman,
and you understand what I'm talking about, you go out there,
you get a bunch of crabs, what do you do?
You throw crabs in a bucket. You know why you
don't cover the bucket, Steve, because all the crabs in
the bottom of the bucket are pulling the crabs down
that are trying to escape. So you have to cover
your bucket because you know they're never going to get

(48:40):
out because they're all pulling each other down. So crabs
in a bucket. That's what the WNBA is when it
comes to Caitlin Clark, and it drives me bunkers.

Speaker 3 (48:52):
Here's the thing that's so frustration.

Speaker 4 (48:54):
They should be supporting her, they should be elevating her,
because you know what happens as her success grows, the
league success grows.

Speaker 3 (49:04):
Where is the league itself?

Speaker 2 (49:05):
This is the thing it gets me and need Okay,
so these these women players you know that you know
obviously are looking praying for the kind of attention that
Caitlin Clark gets.

Speaker 3 (49:16):
I understand that part.

Speaker 2 (49:18):
But why it hasn't the league stepped in and say
enough's enough, enough's enough, whether they're doing it publicly or privately,
stop it.

Speaker 3 (49:29):
She is the golden goose for all of us. Stop it.
And they haven't done that.

Speaker 4 (49:35):
And that's the one million dollar question. And why are
they too scared because the majority of the WNBA is
not on that side of the coin?

Speaker 6 (49:46):
Is that?

Speaker 4 (49:47):
Why is it? Optics? What is it? Why hasn't the
commissioner of the WNBA Why hasn't And that's really that's
the I don't have the answer, and and it's and
it's and it is to me the number one question,
because if you and I are sitting here understanding what

(50:07):
her value and what her worth is to the w
n b A, and how she can even elevate just
to me, like like she has already elevated this league
to this extent. Imagine if this was a league of
a commissioner and players who actually supported her and and
and and appreciated what she brought to this game, where

(50:33):
they would be right now. So to me, it's it's
it's mind boggling. It's mind boggling to me, Steve, I
don't understand it.

Speaker 2 (50:41):
I I just you remember when Tiger Woods broke through,
we had the unfortunate comments made by Fuzzy Fuzzy Zeller
at the Masters, right, and uh, but it was an
eye opener, I mean because obviously he was getting all
this attention and he was dominating in a very early.

Speaker 3 (50:55):
Stage of his career.

Speaker 2 (50:57):
But as soon as the purses went up for all
the tournaments that he was appearing in, any noise against
Tiger evaporated gone. Now all of a sudden, everyone's like, heck,
I'm getting more money finishing second to him than I
would have made winning the tournament before he showed up.

(51:19):
And so once they realized that, wow, this is all
good for all of us, that we have this incredible,
once in a lifetime superstar Tiger Woods in our sport.

Speaker 3 (51:30):
From that point on, Tiger got nothing but praise, nothing
but praise.

Speaker 5 (51:35):
I'm just I'm gonna.

Speaker 2 (51:36):
I just thought, in year two the WNBA, maybe I
understand a year ago it was all new and everything else,
but it's worse this year than it was last year.

Speaker 4 (51:45):
And I'm just gonna throw this out. And again, I've
never met Caitlin Clark. I don't know Caitlin Clark, but
like just optics alone, seems like a pretty cool girl, right,
really good family, down to earth, doesn't get into trouble,
really doesn't talk a lot of smack unless unless instigated

(52:06):
right and then and then she'll she'll you know, talk
back like she doesn't seem like like somebody that you
don't want to root for.

Speaker 3 (52:15):
What she is a trash talker, you know.

Speaker 2 (52:17):
Larry Bird was the all time trash talker, according to
just about every player in the league they ever played
against him.

Speaker 3 (52:22):
Like, no guy talk more trash. Of course, you got
to back it up if you're getting to talk trash.
But that's just part of the game.

Speaker 2 (52:28):
I mean, she's obviously you don't get to where she
is unless you are an insane you know, alpha competitor,
which she is.

Speaker 4 (52:35):
You think she's more of a trash talker than Reese,
You think she's a more like I.

Speaker 3 (52:40):
Think she can hold her own is my guess.

Speaker 4 (52:43):
Okay, but I'm just my point being is you know
she's not a bad human.

Speaker 2 (52:48):
No, right, trash talking doesn't make you a bad human.
It's part of the game.

Speaker 4 (52:52):
But that But my point is what what is?

Speaker 5 (52:56):
What is?

Speaker 7 (52:57):
So?

Speaker 4 (52:57):
What is so wrong about her?

Speaker 3 (53:02):
I don't I don't get the woman thing of it.

Speaker 4 (53:04):
Well, I get I get the woman thing. I just
I I and and listen, I played eons ago, right,
so I just you know, it's it's sad to me
that we we we haven't evolved more, we haven't we
haven't created, like, we haven't learned again, nobody was watching

(53:28):
the w n b A until Caitlin Clark started playing.
And with all due respect to the immense talent, I'm
not I'm not taking away like there has been an
influx of immense talent that has come into the w
n b A. I'm not discrediting that. But nobody would
be watching.

Speaker 3 (53:47):
If no nobody come on.

Speaker 2 (53:49):
Look at With all due respect to the women, there
are times when I'll tune into the w.

Speaker 3 (53:55):
N B A and I'm sorry, it's just unwatchable.

Speaker 4 (53:59):
You're watching the Spurs from ten years ago.

Speaker 3 (54:01):
I mean it's much right, right, I mean.

Speaker 4 (54:04):
Be honest, no beyond you're watching, it's just watching. You're
watching the Spurs from ten years ago.

Speaker 3 (54:11):
I don't find it entertaining. I just don't, you know.
I'm trying to. I don't watch soccer.

Speaker 2 (54:17):
I'm sorry, folks, I don't watch soccer because I don't
find it entertaining.

Speaker 4 (54:24):
It's just I mean, I watched soccer during the Olympics
in the World Cup.

Speaker 2 (54:28):
Well again, the World Cup's a different beast. I don't
even watch soccer in the Olympics, but I do watch
the World Cup. It's the biggest event in the world
in sports, all right. On the other side, we're going
to catch up on a lot of NBA news going on.
The Man is in Vegas where the Summer League is
going on. Our NBA insider Mark Medina will join us

(55:17):
morning right here on Fox Sports Radio and the iHeartRadio app. Well,
join us right now. He is mister Las Vegas. He's
a Vegas type guy, especially at this time of the
year covering all the NBA Summer League action. Our NBA
insider Mark Medina is joining.

Speaker 3 (55:35):
Us right now. You are, mister Vegas. I know that,
Mark that I know.

Speaker 10 (55:40):
I know I would say that, but you know what,
I'm like many that just lose money. Whenever I got here.

Speaker 2 (55:46):
Yes, I want to get right to the Cooper Flag situation.
So they just finished up a matchup against the Spurs.
Cooper Flag, who couldn't make any shots in his summer
League debut, did much better today, put up thirty one
points ten to twenty one from the made three threes,
only had one assist, only had four rebounds, and he
had no steals.

Speaker 3 (56:06):
So I'm trying to figure this out.

Speaker 2 (56:09):
His coach, Jason Kidd, was probably the best player, or
one of the few great players in NBA history that
really never had a shot like he never was a
good shooter at any point of his career, Jason Kidd,
but he did everything else at the Hyatts level.

Speaker 3 (56:24):
What is the game plan for Cooper Flag?

Speaker 2 (56:26):
I heard they're even tinkering with the idea of playing
him at the point. How are the Mavericks going to
use Cooper Flag.

Speaker 6 (56:35):
I think that.

Speaker 10 (56:35):
They're going to treat it like a buffet because one,
he has a lot of different skills, but two, their
rosters very fluid. I mean, it's not like traditional teams
that have a number one pick where they're got awful
and they need their draft prospect to just carry them.
This team has Kyrie Orvan Anthony Davis and Quay Thompson,
but it's a lot of Fluidit you on when Kyrie
is going to come back because of acl injury. AD's

(56:56):
injury history is what it is, So I think in
the short term, I don't think that he's going to
have a lot of ball handling duties because they got
D'Angel Russell there in the off season. So I think
it's a lot of it's going to be about defending
the perimeter's best player be a guy inside that can
be also a point forward that moves on and off

(57:18):
the ball. And so what I saw in summer League, yeah,
the shots weren't there. He could be higher statistically in
other categories, but he had that presence where he is
good at every single thing, and as a result of that,
I think he'll be adaptable to different roles.

Speaker 4 (57:35):
Let's let's talk about what's going on with Lebron James
in the Lakers, right and Luca, because there's there's so
much talk here in regard to, you know, the organization
moving forward, it's all about Luca. That's their centerpiece, not
Lebron James. I'm sure that's going to be a very
difficult pill to swallow for him because it's not a
pill that he's ever had to swallow in his entire life. Right,
So what what what can you share with us in

(57:58):
regard to what the lake you think we're going to
look like coming into the season.

Speaker 10 (58:03):
Yeah, I mean there's a lot of things that's going
to happen between now and the regular season. But I
think ultimately what's going to end is that Lebron James
will still be in the Lakers uniform. Here's why. I
don't think that the Lakers or Lebron view their partnership
through any rose colored glasses, and there's frustration on both sides,
Lebron with the Lakers preparing more for the future than

(58:25):
for his potential final season. I think for the Lakers thinking,
you know what, like you're getting fifty six million dollars
and you're still having a chance to play with really
good players. I Luka dacicch this is the best case scenario.
But I think what's going to happen is the Lakers
are going to finally see that there's not really much
of a trademarket form. It's not their interests to do

(58:46):
it because they won't get a lot of assets in return.
And I think in Lebron's case, he's going to see,
you know what, whatever misgivings he's has about the Lakers'
front office, the question marks about the roster, it's a
lot better than any alternative because if he it's traded,
that seems either gutted or they're not really good to
begin with. The Lakers, they're not championship favorites, but they

(59:08):
have Luka Dacs that have some rotation players. They could
be at least a decent playoff too.

Speaker 2 (59:13):
All Right, I was kicking this around last week, and again,
you know me, Mark, I say things that are outrageous,
but I'm going to throw it out anyway. So talking
about a potential Lebron trade, the dynamic in the East
is so different now because of the Celtics without Tatum.
Halliburton is out for the Pacers and you, it's sort
of looking like a Nicks Cavaliers showdown on who is

(59:36):
going to win the East next year. So you're the
New York you get you the New York Knicks, you
got Towns and annob and you got Brunson.

Speaker 3 (59:43):
All Right, you make a trade to get Lebron.

Speaker 2 (59:46):
You're going to give up in the deal, Josh Hart,
who is a piece that obviously the Lakers would love
to have, and he's under contract for a couple of years.
And then you give up a couple of expiring contracts
in Bridges and Mitchell Robinson. So if you add up
their three salaries for the upcoming season. It's a wash
for what Lebron is making this year, So the Lakers

(01:00:07):
get at least something, because again, Lebron's all walk away
free agent at the end of the year. And if
you're not expecting to win a championship, you get guy
like Josh Hart, who's a valuable piece. I'm sure the
Lakers would agree with that. And then you get expiring
contexts for Bridges and Robinson. And then if you're the Knicks,
I mean again, if you're a Knicks man, you haven't
won a championship since nineteen seventy three.

Speaker 3 (01:00:27):
If the tradeoff is look, this is going to be
a one year deal with Lebron.

Speaker 2 (01:00:31):
We may suck for the next ten years, but we
could win a championship with Towns and an anob Brunson
and Lebron. I might roll the dice on that. I
know they won't, but it just seems like the idea
of him going to the East, either for the Cavaliers
or the Knicks, where he would have a much better
opportunity at least getting to the NBA Finals than he

(01:00:51):
plays with the Lakers in the West. I mean, I
don't know how serious he is about the talk that
he really wants to make another run for a championship
as opposed to just hang on to all his business
dealings in LA. But to me, that's a deal that
would work for both teams.

Speaker 10 (01:01:06):
Yeah, I think it is a fair deal, definitely if
the Knicks would be comfortable with that. If I'm the Lakers,
I don't think they would pull the trigger. Yes, they
like Josh Hart, He's a great, you know, role player.
They have history with him. Michale Bridges is a great defender.
Same thing with Ojihon and Obi. I just don't think
that that's enough in their eyes for Lebron James. Even

(01:01:29):
though he's late in his career, he's still playing at
all star caliber level and number two. I think they're
looking at through the prism of how this works in
relation to the rest of the roster. They have Luca
Dacis on their team, they DeAndre, and they have a
lot of question marks, so they also have a lot
of right for potential here, and so I think the

(01:01:49):
Lakers are just concluding, you know what, we're they're annoyed
at times with how Lebron wants to play GM and
pressure them to make moves, but they've been happy with
how he's played on the court and has felt he's
very adaptable with his role with that, And so I
think they're just going to roll the dice and think,
you know what, for whatever complaints you have about us,

(01:02:12):
you know with our roster, we know that you'll still
bring it to work every single night and you're still
one of the best in the NBA. So end of
that chapter. But yeah, if I'm the Knicks, I'm going
all in because it's the Knicks number two. They have
Mike Brown, that's a history that they have relationships. And
to your point, the Eastern Conference is depleted because of

(01:02:34):
the Boston Celtics and Indiana Pacers, most notably having a
lot of injuries. And Milwaukee try to be if you
know what they do with Miles Turners enough with the
Anasoons to theakupo to be a player. But again, I
think it takes two to tango, and I think ultimately
the Lakers will decide no thanks to any of these deals.

Speaker 4 (01:02:52):
So looking at the West, I mean, obviously again okay,
see looking to run it back and win another championship
back to back. Got to like Houston's done right, bringing
in KD and and I actually like the moves that
that Denver has made as well. So so in the West.
If there was a team there that you feel would
unseat okc Uh, who would it be.

Speaker 10 (01:03:16):
I think would be the Rockets, not just because Kevin
Durant and his efficiency when he's playing. It's what they
didn't give up in the deal. I'm and Thompson it's
still there. One of the emerging young wing players in
the NBA. One of the best defenders in the league,
Al Brinston Goon. He's not the best center yet, that
belongs to Nikoleyokich and Joel Embiid's second went healthy, but

(01:03:37):
he's one of He's becoming an elite center, and I
want to be surprised in the next few years he
becomes top five in the NBA at the center spot.
So you add all that up and the fact that
they are a very good, defensively coached team, and they
also got Fred Vay and Vliet back great for general,
they're the team most likely to challenge Oklahoma City. I

(01:03:58):
would say Denver after that because of what you mentioned.
Good move trading Michael Porter Junior to get Cam Johnson,
great two way player Jamal Murray expected to be healthy,
Nikole Jokich still play at VP level, and then after
that it's really just wild cards and depending on how
health and chemistry plays out with all these different teams.

Speaker 3 (01:04:16):
Well, I just watch you with Jim Hill. We're not
going to hold you any longer. Mark. We know you
want to get back to the craps table.

Speaker 2 (01:04:22):
As soon as Anita and I were talking about this,
and Anita immediately jumped on the obvious. If you want
to actually make money gambling, you're not betting on Summer
League games. You're not rolling the rule at none of that.
You sit at the craps table learn how to play crabs.
I take it you know how to play.

Speaker 10 (01:04:41):
Craps right, Honestly, Steve, I don't. All I do is
go to the rolette table and help the numbers.

Speaker 2 (01:04:48):
No no, no, no, no, no, Hey.

Speaker 10 (01:04:52):
Steve, how about that nine years ago this is the
only time I did win money, but at the rolette
table I walked away with four hundred bucks. There you
hear that it's usually been lost, all right.

Speaker 2 (01:05:04):
Well, it's a win being in Vegas, especially getting a
chance to see some of these young future stars of
the NBA.

Speaker 3 (01:05:10):
We always appreciate the time. Mark, enjoy your time there, Stay.

Speaker 10 (01:05:12):
Cool, Steve and Nata. Your guys are awesome. Always a pleasure.

Speaker 2 (01:05:16):
Change for this.

Speaker 3 (01:05:17):
There he is the great Mark Medina, our NBA. Inside.

Speaker 2 (01:05:20):
Are you jealous and in him? I mean right now
you are?

Speaker 3 (01:05:23):
Are? Are you at your little pool area? Right now?

Speaker 4 (01:05:26):
Is that where I'm in my studio in your side?
I'm probably twenty five feet from my pool, so and
it's yelling out to you so like in our break,
if I wanted to take a quick dip, I could
if I so choose. Dare I say that I don't
think the Knicks would be better with James and that?

Speaker 3 (01:05:45):
All right? Well, can't hold that thought.

Speaker 2 (01:05:47):
I know that was a lot that I threw out
because you know, even Mark Medina, he goes well that,
especially since they hired Mike Brown is their head coaching
and to see the connection with all right, we'll get
into that, but first find out what is trending?

Speaker 3 (01:06:02):
What a treat devn moncey here.

Speaker 5 (01:06:04):
Today, that's such a treat. I'm jealous of Anita though,
because she's.

Speaker 11 (01:06:07):
Right next to a pool and that's where I would
be right now.

Speaker 2 (01:06:11):
You haven't seen Anita set up. She sends a photos
She's got the very very cool.

Speaker 5 (01:06:15):
I'm already jealous.

Speaker 11 (01:06:16):
I'm just saying I would be late to every segment
if I was near a pool. I mean, right there,
Stephen'm coming as I would be coming out of the pool.

Speaker 5 (01:06:23):
Also, Lebron James can't go to the next of you guys.
He just can't. No, he did either stay with the
Lakers or go to Cleveland. That is it?

Speaker 2 (01:06:29):
What?

Speaker 4 (01:06:29):
Well, do you hate the Knicks?

Speaker 11 (01:06:30):
No, it's just I don't I agree with you. I
don't think that is a winning team. And he's gonna
go to another team and lose again? No, no, no, no,
at least if he goes to the Cavs and loses,
he went back.

Speaker 3 (01:06:40):
We know this.

Speaker 2 (01:06:41):
He's never playing another season for the Lakers.

Speaker 5 (01:06:45):
With you, I don't agree.

Speaker 2 (01:06:46):
If he plays one year with the Lakers, that's it.
He will walk away. You will get nothing ye for him?

Speaker 6 (01:06:52):
No?

Speaker 5 (01:06:52):
Yeah, but I think I don't.

Speaker 3 (01:06:53):
I don't know.

Speaker 2 (01:06:54):
The question is are they a championship team? If you
don't think they're a championship team, then you make it
deal right now?

Speaker 3 (01:07:00):
That's my da.

Speaker 5 (01:07:02):
There's a chance they're not bad they're not bad. That's ridiculous.

You.

Speaker 4 (01:10:32):
Yeah number, one do you have a?

Speaker 3 (01:10:34):
Bobblehead DO i have a? Bobblehead you, mean is there
A steve hartmin? Bobblehead.

Me, no you had a.

Speaker 4 (01:10:48):
Bobblehead right WHEN i was In, BALTIMORE i was WORKING
i was working for THE cbs station In, baltimore and
and AND i was hosting sports talk radio that was
simulcast on the Mid Atlantic sports Network masson When massive first.
Launched so and AND i threw the first. Pitch, oh
that's a funny. STORY i threw out the first. Pitch

(01:11:09):
and so the night THAT i threw out the first
pitch Was Anita mark's bobblehead.

Speaker 2 (01:11:13):
Night, Okay so when you saw your bobble head where.

Speaker 4 (01:11:17):
You're, like oh, god, no who do design exact?

Speaker 2 (01:11:22):
See like if it's like you're, looking it's sort of
like the uh AS i mentioned in The Magic johnson
statue outside of Now crypto Dot.

Speaker 3 (01:11:31):
Com, arena And i'm, like why does he Have Danny glover's?

Speaker 2 (01:11:34):
Face like it doesn't look anything Like Magic Johnson and
it's there forever and it's just, like, wow do you.

Speaker 3 (01:11:42):
Have one on your desk right? Now, Anita, NO.

Speaker 4 (01:11:45):
I don't even. KNOW i don't even. KNOW i mean
it's been it's been a.

Speaker 3 (01:11:48):
Minute i'm gonna have to look on The Dwight shrewd.

Speaker 5 (01:11:53):
SINCE i was In.

Speaker 4 (01:11:54):
Baltimore i'm sure it's in like some box. SOMEWHERE i don't.
Know i've moved.

Speaker 3 (01:11:59):
It it needs to be On proud display.

Speaker 4 (01:12:01):
Three or four. Times my question number two is have
you ever stood next To Aaron.

Speaker 3 (01:12:06):
Judge HAVE i stood next To Aaron?

Speaker 2 (01:12:09):
Judge, yeah, yeah in a, yeah he's a. Monster he
is a, monster although having been in so MANY i
MEAN i stood next to yao, MING i, MEAN i, mean.

Speaker 4 (01:12:22):
Yeah but that's basketball baseball.

Speaker 2 (01:12:24):
Like oh, yeah but you, know there was a baseball
player back in the day every bit the size Of
Aaron judge and now was the Great Frank, howard who
played in the sixties and, seventies one of the most
devastating power. Hitters he was six, seven he weighed two
hundred and seventy five. Pounds he was a basketball player
At Ohio, state And Frank howard was a longtime. Coach

(01:12:45):
he passed away several years, ago but he was also a.
Coach Frank howard was literally the same size As Aaron.
JUDGE i stood next to both of, them but like.

Speaker 4 (01:12:53):
You stand next to, him like he's literally like he's
literally a, giant.

Speaker 3 (01:12:58):
Yeah six foot.

Speaker 4 (01:12:59):
EIGHT i just, like Like i'm not just saying, like,
oh the dude's a, Giant, no like he's literally a.

Speaker 2 (01:13:05):
Giant like, well i' mean in baseball, terms he's a.
Giant you're absolutely, Right just like everything about.

Speaker 3 (01:13:13):
Him is that? FAIR i, mean remember the year that
he was a.

Speaker 2 (01:13:18):
Rookie and he well he was he was second in
THE mvp voting as a rookie To Jose, altuve who
is listed at five.

Speaker 3 (01:13:26):
Six i'd like to check that.

Speaker 2 (01:13:27):
Out and they would have the two of them standing
side by, side And you're, like how is that guy
Al tuve putting up the kind of numbers he is
because when you look At, judge there is no reason
he shouldn't be putting up numbers like he is as
big as he.

Speaker 4 (01:13:44):
IS i think L twove comes to his belly button.

Speaker 3 (01:13:48):
Right, no there's pictures of them side by. Side it's.

Speaker 4 (01:13:51):
Ridiculous it.

Speaker 2 (01:13:52):
Is so you're, like, well if you're as big As,
judge you should hit a lot of home runs and
pound the.

Speaker 3 (01:13:59):
Ball but if your guy Like, altuve how's that?

Speaker 4 (01:14:01):
Possible my, favorite my favorite story About Aaron judge is
that The Miami Marlins stadium when it was built on the,
grounds of course of The Orange bowl by the.

Speaker 7 (01:14:15):
Way.

Speaker 4 (01:14:17):
You, know they have a, roof and and the roof
was you, know AM i aero dynamically? Designed AM i
saying that? PROPERLY i don't, know constructed where there was
no way humanly possible that a ball could hit the.
Roof you know who hit the.

Speaker 3 (01:14:34):
Roof i'm going to Guess Aaron judge.

Speaker 4 (01:14:36):
Exactly he hit the.

Speaker 2 (01:14:38):
Roof but there are guys that have hit longer home
runs Than Aaron. JUDGE a jacked Up mark McGuire hit
bigger home. RUNS i mean when if you looked At
mark McGuire circa nineteen ninety, eight you, know when he
broke the record with seventy home, runs AND i, was you,
know obviously around clubhouses all the. TIME i had seen
him around since he was a rookie with The Oakland.

Speaker 3 (01:15:00):
A's you talk about. GIANT i, mean his arms were like.

Speaker 2 (01:15:06):
LEGS i, mean and he and the guy he would
wear these oversized jerseys is camouflage.

Speaker 3 (01:15:12):
And then he would strip.

Speaker 2 (01:15:13):
Down you, know after the, Game you're, like, dude what
the heck is going on?

Speaker 11 (01:15:17):
There.

Speaker 2 (01:15:19):
Ridiculous this is the hypocrisy of the baseball writers for
not voting in a guy he belongs in The hall Of.
Fame Sammy sosa belongs to The hall Of. FAME i
could go all day on The bonds and the clemings
of the, world but how can you do, Die hey
Rod Manny, ramirez go down the Rod rafael palmerow five
hundred three.

Speaker 3 (01:15:38):
Thousand these are All hall Of.

Speaker 2 (01:15:40):
Famers do you have a? VOTE i WISH i, did
BUT i know a lot of guys that, do and
they're reasoning for not voting for. Them here's WHAT i
say to. THEM i spit on. YOU i spit on
you because your reasoning makes absolutely no.

Speaker 3 (01:15:55):
Sense this is to chronicle the history of the.

Speaker 2 (01:15:58):
Game and don't give me his crap app that they
jeopardize the jeopardy of a sport that banned an entire
race of people for sixty. Years what kind of integer
were you talking? About stop it put them in The
hall Of fame where they. Belong by the, way.

now six and oh In Grand slam, finals six and.
Oh Carlos alcarez is five and oh In Grand slam.
Finals he's looking to go to six and oh taking

(01:18:43):
on it's a rematch obviously of The French open final'
Like cinner looking to when her his First wimbledon. Crown
these are the two dynamics right. Now they have clearly
after What sinner did To djokovic and The. Semis he
just blew them off the. Cord you, Know Novak djokovic's
legacy is in the. Books he's the all time. King
he set the bar twenty. FOUR i, mean it's just,

(01:19:05):
ridiculous especially can consider he had to share the spotlight
When Nadlin feder for most of his. Career these are
my far the two best men's. Players it should be
a great. Final it's not going to be six love six,
love six, LOVE i promise, you like we saw with
the women.

Speaker 3 (01:19:19):
Today so what is your?

Speaker 2 (01:19:20):
Thoughts alcarez make it three wimbledons in a row or
the center going to finally Hand alcarez's first loss in
A Grand slam.

Speaker 4 (01:19:29):
Final, Yeah Sin karaz tomorrow morning at eleven Am eastern.
Time i've Got carlos and you could get, him by
the way at minus one oh five to win this
bad boy twelve. Times these two dudes have faced off
against each other since twenty twenty. One carlos is eight and.
Four he's better on. GRASS i think he's got the

(01:19:50):
psychological factor ahead of. It because of what happened in
The French. OPEN i think it's going to be really
hard to follow that type of magic we were so
blessed to see a few weeks. Ago BUT i JUST
i Think carlos has this in the. Bag but at
the same, Time I'm i'm hopeful that we're going to get.

(01:20:13):
AGAIN i don't think we're gonna get what we saw The,
french But i'm hoping for really something better than we saw. Today,
steve that's for.

Speaker 2 (01:20:21):
Sure, well here here's the problem For American america in.
Tennis we need An american. Start you, know we Got
ben Until ben makes a run and then actually wins.
SOMETHING i, mean you, know we go back to when
we Have Pete sampras And Andrea agassi And Jim currier
And Michael. Chang you, KNOW i go back to the

(01:20:41):
Mackerel connors days and the last guy to make any
noise Was Andy. Roddick that was over twenty years. Ago
and come, ON i, mean it's just it's. Hard and
with The williams sisters, gone it's the same thing on
the on the women's, side we Have Coco, goff you,
know But Madison keys had a. Breakthrough but that's that's
where the interest sort of ends in. Tennis go To american. Standpoint,
