Speaker 1 (00:05):
This is straight Fire with Jason McIntyre.

Speaker 2 (00:11):
What is up straight Fire prying? It's me Jason McIntire,
Straight Fire for Wednesday, September third. I don't know if
you guys can detect it. I know my family certainly can.
But I am just so excited and constantly being positive
because football's back, and just the excitement in the air.

(00:32):
The NFL season opener Eagles Cowboys. Hope you already bet
the Eagles because the line's on the run. That's Thursday.
Then we get Chiefs Chargers Friday from Brazil. Saturday not
a great college football slate, I mean, certainly nothing compared
to last weekend, but you do have Michigan Oklahoma, which
has some juice. And then Sunday is NFL. I had

(00:53):
somebody text me, Hey, are you interested in going to
this LA Sparks game. We can get you on the
court for the Sunday game. And I was like, bro,
it's opening weekend of NFL. There's no shot, Like, I mean,

(01:13):
you could have me in the fucking huddle. Sorry, with
the f force, you coulda be in the huddle in
the lot. It doesn't NFL Sunday Like, I cannot wait.
I meant, and I will say I'm a little jacked
over Jack because Survivor leagues. I'm in a the volume
does this wins pool where you pick a team, you
draft a team, it's like a snake draft, and then

(01:34):
whoever has the most wins at the end of the
season wins. Two years ago I won it, or last
year I did not win it. But it's like I'm
doing that weekly pick them the CBS thing. I'm in
Multiple Survivor, multiple Fantasy. I did buy into the David
Baker Survivor. Remember the one hundred thousand, So I put

(01:55):
in a thousand, and then my buddy is gonna split
that with me. The thousand on he pays fifty K.
I know, only whatever, but so I'll do five hundred,
can do twenty five k. I mean again five hundred.
It's a full season, you know, fun ride hopefully, and
Baker's good at that, he's good at Survivor, he's good
at pick them. So we'll see, you know. I just

(02:16):
there's just so much happening. I do want to quickly
start though, before we get to some NFL the Michael
Parson stuff, Joe Montana leaving Patrick Mahomes off, his top
four quarterback less just quickly, we'll go to Belichick just
because we didn't talk about it because there's no pod. Yesterday.
Belichick opens his career in college. They get the football
first at UNC Monday night. I was at my son's

(02:38):
fantasy draft. I'm like, guys, we got to get this
game on. They get the ball, they go right down
the field. Awesome throws from Lopez the quarterback, touchdown seven
to nothing, and at that point I'm like, oh shucks,
Belichick knows his stuff. That was an amazing scripted drive. Lopez,
this guy who nobody had ever heard of before a
month ago, look better than Arch Banding did against Ohio State. Now,

(03:00):
obviously tc used not world beaters, but I mean I
saw two throws down an opening drive. I was like, okay,
I see you kid. After that, it was an absolute
bloodbath TCU five hundred plus yards of offense. I saw.
The first downs were twenty nine to ten. I mean,
it just snowballed on the tar heels. They could get
no stops. But Lopez gets bench for a backup quarterback.

(03:24):
The funniest line I heard Rob was the backup quarterback
is this guy Max Johnson who's been around the block.
He's like a sixty year super senior. He's twenty four
years old, the same age as Bill Belichick's girlfriend. And
then I saw that when it was forty one to
seven TCU. Someone goes, that's ironic because when Belichick was
forty one, Jordan Hudson was seven, and I was like,

(03:45):
come on, that cannot be right, and obviously he was
not right. It's just funny. I don't know. I detected
a lot of glee. And of course everybody wants to
get on the jump to conclusions Matt and say, listen,
Belichick lost fastball, no Brady, no victories. I mean, come on, well,

(04:05):
what is Belichick it? Instead of a fifty to fifty
or fifty one forty nine with the Patriots for two decades,
it was more like seventy five twenty five Brady. And
I'm just I don't love that stuff. I think it's
a little goofy. That being said, Belichick has a major
uphill climb. I feel like an ass clown for saying,
oh yeah, Tar Hills a suc they can make it

(04:27):
till the playoff. That ain't happening. But overall, Rob, I
don't know where you did you have Glee watching that
he disappointed. By the time it was third quarter, I
was I kind of checked out. And now all of
a sudden, any North Carolina gains on the schedule that
had appeal are significantly less for me, at least.

Speaker 3 (04:45):
A little bit of both.

Speaker 4 (04:47):
Number one, because you know, I've said on this pod
and on Fox Sports Radio when I filled in Fults
in the odd couple that I think this Belichick situation
in North Carolina's gonna be a disaster. I just think
that his style is not going to work in the
Jimmy's and the Joe's exits, the NIO's and it's just
at this age, I just don't think he's set up
for success the way a younger coach might be for

(05:09):
the current climate college football. On the flip side, I
also tweeted this out, I'm rooting for him because, like
I crazy aim I say, I want Belichick to be
able to hug up on his twenty five year old
girlfriend and not be ashamed by it. And the only
way that could happen is if his team is successful.
Because if they win and he proves to be a

(05:32):
good college football coach, all the jokes about Jordan Hudson
and you mentioned the forty one to seven Like that
kind of stuff floats away, or at least it becomes
minimized in a much bigger fashion, because ultimately it's gonna
come down to wins and losses in North Carolina and
for them to start off the way they did and
I'm like, all right, cool, I'll be wrong about Bill Belichick.

(05:52):
That's wy I've been wrong about a lot of shit.
And then for them to get bludgeon and it was
like a forty one nothing run through the rest of
the middle part of the game. It was just really
tough to watch. And then you have these video angles
that show Bill talking to his girlfriend on the sidelines.

Speaker 2 (06:10):
I saw that rob quickly. I can't tell when that was,
but it looks like across the field the stands were emptied.
So I'm guessing that this is deep into the fourth quarter.
Do you have any idea what it was.

Speaker 4 (06:22):
I don't know when it was, and I will say
caveat it was during a break in the action, like
there wasn't actually football being played there. I think they
were lining up. It looked like for a kick return
maybe so he oh wait.

Speaker 2 (06:32):
A minute, wait, a minute. Hold on, hold on, I'm
I'm rewinding it now. If you positive at the very beginning,
it's gotta be halftime, okay, because there's a bunch of
guys on the field that aren't football players.

Speaker 3 (06:43):
There you go.

Speaker 2 (06:44):
It could have actually been before the game. It's either halftime,
but either way it's not a good look.

Speaker 4 (06:49):
Right, So you could be talking to her on the
field during before after a game is not a good look.
And having said all of that, if you just look
at the numbers for that game against TCU, not only
was it the worst regular season loss of or second
worst regular season loss of Bill Belichick's coaching career just

(07:10):
in UNC football history, and UNC is not a football powerhouse,
but if you look it up, it was the most
points allowed in the season opener in program history, passing
the forty one they allowed to Oklahoma two thousand and one.
It was also their largest margin of defeat since twenty eighteen.
And for reference, for all the tarhel fans listen to

(07:33):
this show, Mac Brown, the guy who just got asked
to bring in Bill Belichick, never lost the game by
that amount and during his second stint at Caroline, so
everything that could go wrong did go wrong, and then
at the very end after the game, as if it
wasn't bad enough that you beat them by seventy five
million points, Sunny Dykes goes and tells ESPN quote, I

(07:53):
think we all felt a little disrespected coming in. There
was a lot of conversation. None of it is about us.
I think we all were highlight motivated. Our players were
certainly excited to play. So it's like North Carolina is
getting the two years ago Colorado treatment, where everybody's like, man,
I can't wait to shut Dion and should her up.
All these guys do is smile and talk trash and

(08:15):
flash these quarter million dollar watches, and it's like, we're
gonna shut that trap immediately. As far as I know,
Bill Belichick hasn't said anything publicly. As far as I know,
none of the players in North Carolina have done or said.
You didn't even know who Geo Lopez was utill about
a month ago, not US biblicly, but America. And this
is all coming back to that twenty something year old

(08:35):
girlfriend that he has who decided I don't know if
it was hurt, but I'm to blame her for putting
up those balloons during the press conference. You saw that
it was like an archway. It looked like a four
year old's birthday party.

Speaker 3 (08:45):
So you see Bill.

Speaker 4 (08:46):
Talking in front of a microphone with a balloon garland
above her head, and it's like, no, she's the reason
why everyone's mad at This is why guys like Jay
Mack and Colin and Steven A are piling on North Carolina.
This is the reason why Sunny Dyke's and everybody else
in college football wants to dunk on Caroline.

Speaker 3 (09:01):
It's because I heard nothing that Bill did. So that's
why I kind of feel bad.

Speaker 2 (09:05):
Yeah, wait, you feel bad for Bill.

Speaker 3 (09:07):
I mean I feel bad that he's going out like this.

Speaker 2 (09:12):
Yeah, I mean I don't quite think it's what does
everybody like to reference? Willie Mays had like one of
the greatest careers in baseball history, but then he was
on the Mets at the end and like somebody had
a fly ball and he's like stumbling around, has no
idea what the ball. Like, there are some guys at
the end who hung on too long. A lot of
that you see in boxing. This isn't quite Patrick Ewing
in a Sonics jersey or Elijah Wan with the raptor.

(09:35):
This isn't quite that, but it's not a great start. Belichick.
You know he's gonna be okay, he's got the twenty
four year old girlfriend Rob. I mean, come on, yeah,
he's still winning. He is still winning. I wonder if, well,
maybe when Brady shows up at set of Fox Extime

(09:56):
will be like, have you talked to have you talked
to Bill? Since you know season over? I doubt you
would answer that, but yeah, So anyways, they just get
that Bellichick out of the way.

Speaker 2 (10:18):
Let me actually, by the way, did you see that
they announced the top twenty five in college football? And
this is why I listen. I love football. I like
college football a lot, but this is why college football
is really dumb. So Texas loses no harm in that
they fall from one to seven. Clemson loses at home
to LSU when favored, they fall to eight. Notre Dame

(10:41):
loses on the road to Miami. I get it. They
fall to nine. But Alabama loses as a two touchdown favorite.
To Florida State and they only fall from eight to
twenty one. Why is Alabama still ranked? Who would vote
them in the top twenty five? That is stupid on paper?
Are they really good? Sure they were a week ago,

(11:02):
but they got their ass kicked. I mean, it's just
insane how dumb these voters are. I will say it
is nice to see Miami, Florida, Florida State all back
in like the top fifteen and relevant again. That to
me is the I loved college football a ton as
a young guy. When you know, Notre Dame Miami. You
know those teams were awesome. Florida with t bow back

(11:25):
in the day, FSU with Bobby Bowden, that was vintage
college football. Obviously, now the wealth is more spread out,
and I get that, but guys like Dabo Sweeney talking
tough at the podium tuesday by we didn't play that bad.
It's not like LSU was that good. Like, what do
you think these guys like Mike Gundy. I don't know, Rob,

(11:45):
how much you've seen them Mike Gundy. So the Oklahoma
State plays Oregon this week and Mike Gundy's talking about
how well you know Oregon is making so much more
in the NI how they're paying players so much, we're
barely paying a fraction that we even playing them. They
should play people who are in their in their weight class.
And of course Dan Lanning, who's good and I hope

(12:06):
he kicked Mike Gundy's ass, said well, actually they played
ut Martin last week. I wonder what their budget is.
And it's like, oh, that's a mic drop. And oh,
by the way, Oregon's favored by twenty eight. I almost
want to lay it with Oregon thinking that Dan Lanning
is not going to call off the dogs. I mean,
Gundhy talking trash like college football is the gift that
keeps a giving rob.

Speaker 4 (12:27):
Oh yeah, And by the way, that Gundhy landing thing
was probably my favorite story of Tuesday. You know, of
all the things, you know, we had the Micah Parsons situation,
you know, the Bill Belichick fall out. So many that
back and forth I thought was awesome because you don't
really get that in pro sports. It's rare that you'll
see two head coaches, ultimately or openly just trash talk

(12:50):
each other and point out, you know, some advantages you
may have had, or somebody is talking about Bill like
you know Bill Belichick cheated to win Super Bowls like
you don't see that today anymore in pros prosorts, but
in college and especially college football in this new Wild
West era that we're in with the NIL, these coaches
will let it fly in ways that I.

Speaker 3 (13:11):
Don't think I ever remember.

Speaker 4 (13:13):
And to your point, as far as Oregon in this weekend,
the last time we saw a very motivated regular season
Oregon team, it was against the aforementioned Colorado Buffaloes on
national television, and I think they beat up bout like
sixty points. So, I mean that's an exaggeration. I know
the about a lot, but they were up like forty
two nothing at one point, and they're like, okay, now

(13:33):
we'll call off the dogs. How high does this number
get for Oregon? Before Landing calls off the Dogs against
Mike Gundy.

Speaker 2 (13:39):
I expect some fireworks in the pregame handshake, assuming or
postgame handshake, assuming there is one. Rob All right, let's
go to the NFL. This Micah Parsons story ESPN dropped
the big one. I mean, it's a lengthy story. I
don't think there's any major bombshells in there, but essentially
it talks about Michael Parsons in the end in Dallas,
and he was a bit of a lock problem. I mean, listen,

(14:02):
you guys know how it works. When you get traded,
they then unload on you about what a nightmare it
was working with you. Nobody ever says or reports this
while it's happening. It is similar in the media, Hollywood.
This is a tried and true story forever CEOs you
have a good run, no matter how good it is.
The second it's over. If it ends ugly, oh well,

(14:23):
that guy was a disaster. So Michael Parsons is now
being pegs just kind of greedy. Michael Parsons is being
unfriendly in the locker room ego. It's not a great look.
But again, like, nothing in here surprised me, rob I mean,

(14:43):
I'm sure some people were surprised, but it's like, but
you're dealing with a twenty five year old who's playing
on the most popular team in football, who is a
generational pass rusher, who has some numbers after four years
that are among the best in NFL history at his position.
He wants all the money he's dealing with. Jerry Jones

(15:03):
negotiations got whatever, Jerry Jones tried to end around to
avoid the agent. I mean, nothing here really was shocking. Frankly,
if you want shocking, Rob, I thought the video of
Micah Parsons practicing with the Packers, now there was no
pads on, but hitting the sled, running all that stuff.

(15:23):
I was like, I don't see a back injury at all.
I mean, he looks like he's ready to go forty
plays in the opener for the Packers against the Lions,
and then of course Adam Schefter Wait a minute, wait
a minute, he is probably gonna need an epidural shot
just to play. And you know, dumb Jason not a doctor. Epidural.
I think that's what they gave my wife before she

(15:44):
gave birth. I think that's kind of standard anyways. But
I don't know. It just seems like it's open season
on Michaeh. Parsons. And I'm sure he's gonna go on
his podcast Rob and refute all this, assuming he's allowed
to by the Packers. By the way, I am curious.
Do you think the Packers will be like, hey man,
we want you to dial back the podcast, because remember
Aaron Rodgers was doing that weekly hit with McAfee where

(16:07):
he was paid like a million dollars and the Jets
hated it, and there are multiple reports that the Jets
asked him not to do it again. And that's a
non starter. I mean, who's turning down a million dollars?
Maybe this dealer's acquiest I don't know, but yeah, I'm
sure Parsons will utilize his podcast to get back at
Jerry and the Cowboys.

Speaker 4 (16:27):
Well, speaking of that, do you think that that podcast
is going to have the same level of impact now
that he's with Green Bands that a Dallas because I
don't think so.

Speaker 2 (16:33):
Well, the first pack the first one, surely.

Speaker 4 (16:36):
The first one, yes, because that's the one. Ideally he'll
address everything that's transpired.

Speaker 2 (16:40):
And if the Packers are as good as many think,
I mean, remember Ta was on here last month saying
he's got them in the super Bowl and that was
free Parsons. So if they're making a run to the
super Bowl, I think, yeah, they're going to be huge.
But you're right, the Green Bay market is not the same.
I'm almost certain that if you dropped yourself into Europe
or Asia, nobody's heard of the Green Bay Packers, right,

(17:03):
Dallas Cowboys everywhere there were global brands.

Speaker 3 (17:05):
They're America's team.

Speaker 2 (17:07):
They're America's team. So yeah, that's a good point.

Speaker 3 (17:09):
Yeah.

Speaker 4 (17:09):
So, I mean this whole situation with Micah and by
the way, quicksidebar his agent David Mulligetta going on First
Take on Tuesday to talk about I'm assuming it was coordinated. Hey,
we're going to release this report with like seven different
reporters on it, all very reputable guys. The fact they
got them all to collaborate on one story tells you
how much ESPN values the Cowboys. But they had all
of that put out and then they get his agent

(17:30):
on First Take the same day, So I think that
might have been, you know, on purpose, but for his agent,
mulli Getta to come out and say on the record, quote,
the most important thing is Michael wanted to be a cowboy.

Speaker 3 (17:43):
Wanted to be a cowboy. We did everything we could
for him to remain a cowboy.

Speaker 4 (17:46):
And it's like, I'm sure that's true, But at this
point you don't need to say that. Yeah, Like, you
have your own team now, you're a Green Bay Packer.
Doesn't matter what your ex girlfriends doing. It doesn't matter
what she's doing or saying or slandering you in any
kind of way, because your job is to move on
and produce for Green Bay and not openly pine away
for what could have been in Dallas. We don't want

(18:07):
another Tyreek Hill situation going on if you're a Packers fan.
As far as that report, I mean you mentioned it.
We've kind of heard a lot of this already. Friend
of the show Albert Breard reported last week that frustrations
with Micah's podcast and got all the way up to
Dak Prescott because remember Dak Prescott was left off of
Micah's top ten quarterbacks list and that was like a
whole thing, and he got questioned about it. So when

(18:29):
Breard reported that part, it's like, well, we kind of
already knew, because it was hard not to notice that,
you know, Malie Hooker was saying things about, Hey, I
wish Michah would not say this kind of stuff publicly
on his podcast, and then Micah responds back in a tweet,
not in person, but hey, I wish you would have
told me that directly instead of on a podcast. A
lot of YadA YadA, and then you know, he flashed
forward to twenty twenty four for that embarrassing playoff loss

(18:51):
to the Packers, and Micah does no media after the game,
but waits for his podcast like two weeks later, and
he rips Jerry Jones from not going all in, and
then he he rips the play calling because not putting
them in a position to be successful. He's like, but
I'm very confident and comfortable with the way I played.
I left it all out on the field, So it
wasn't me, it must have been everybody else. So like,

(19:13):
it's it's not hard to tell that as productive as
he was, that that act can run thin very very quickly.
It's not too dissimilar from like Lebron James. Lebron is
a great player, and there's no doubt about Everybody can
admit that he's a great player. But if you don't
like Lebron James, it's not like I can say I

(19:34):
don't see why you don't like him. Like just for example,
that Nike had he put out on Monday, Yeah, the
Forever King, And it's like, yeah, I could see why
you don't really like Lebron. You know, that seems kind
of a narcissistic move. It seems kind of wild to
say that you slayed all of your contemporaries like, well, wait,
did he not I mean, did Steph Curry not own
him in the finals?

Speaker 2 (19:54):
Wait? He beat They had the greatest comeback in the
NBA and him once he lost to him three times.
Curry's been team yes, I know, but still beat them.

Speaker 4 (20:02):
Sure, but I'm just saying it just seemed like it
was like, you know what, I could see why some
that might run people the wrong way. And similar to
Michael Parstons, I could see how as productive as he is,
he's one of the great pass rushers of this generation.
I could see how his commentary, his you know, seem
he says he's a leader, but he deflects all the
time about his role in situations. I could say that
coul run people the wrong wy, especially if you're a teammate.

Speaker 2 (20:24):
Yeah, no, no, that makes sense. It's it is going
to be really really interesting to see what happens with
the Cowboys. So their line against the Eagles was like
six and a half maybe ten days ago, it's up
to eight and a half now. I have unloaded on
the Eagles. I think there is a smash spot to open.
I mean, you know, there's a world where you're a
Cowboys fan, and you're still optimistic. Not only was Micah

(20:48):
gonna get signed, but hey, hey we got Pickins, We've
got cde Lamb. Are they that far behind Chasin Higgins?
They're not that far behind them that right now there
is a it's a great duo and you got Dak
Prescott and if the line holds up, they're gonna be
able to put up points and hang with people. Maybe
there's a world where you know, Micah comes back, Digs

(21:10):
is back, and the great defender of the young guy
forget his name, he's the linebacker. He's got like a
long last name. He was awesome, had a bad injury.
Overshow I can't yes over shown? That's it? Why can't
we compete? And then the rug gets pulled out from
under you and you trade Micah And somebody smart texted me,
what if the Cowboys waited all summer? Just let's see

(21:31):
what we have here. Let's check out our defense, See
how we look in the in the preseason, see how
we look in the joint practices and assess things. And
you know, if we got a shot, let's bring back Michael,
we'll go for it. And if not, well, just why
don't we just move on. Is there a world rob
where the Cowboys looked at all that said, yeah, just
saying our year, why don't we just trade him and

(21:53):
see what picks we can get and we go that route?
And I just I hadn't thought about that. I was
like that, that's not terrible. I mean, we don't know
what Jerry's thinking. We know he's a crazy person, a
rich crazy person. But yeah, like, if that is the case,
you're a Cowboys fan, you're just distraught. And if you're
in the locker room, you saw lampost something on social digs. Eagles.

(22:14):
Eagles beat them last year. I think the combined score
was like seventy one to thirteen. Now, I don't think
Dak played anither game, No, but also Jalen Hurts miss
one game. So I could see the Eagles coming out
in really serving notice, Hey, we're still on top. There's
no letup coming from US. I mean they returned their
exact offense minus McKay beck in their guard, and the

(22:35):
defense has some new guys, but they have a really young,
really nasty defense. So I think the Eagles smash them,
and I would not. I think there's a role where
Cowboys finish like five and eleven or five and twelve,
last in the division.

Speaker 2 (22:59):
Love.

Speaker 3 (23:00):
Yeah, that's not crazy at all.

Speaker 4 (23:02):
And if you look at the Eagles, they seem to
have the right mental makeup, the mindset going into this season.
You know, Saekuon Barkley that did an interview that one
of the things they talk about in the locker room
is if you think that you're responsible for the Eagle
Super Bowl win, you are absolutely correct. If you think
you're the only person responsible for these superow win, then

(23:22):
you're absolutely wrong. So that's a good mindset. And then
the other thing came out on Tuesday. Nick Sirianni said
none of the players are going to be present during
the banner unveiling on Thursday night. So I know that
seems kind of hokey. It's like, hey, we're we're not
defending champs. We just won last year and you know
we're not we're not really defending anything of this new season.
That seems kind of, you know, like a movie, like

(23:42):
a Disney character movie, kind of like a Remember the
Titan type storyline. But surprisingly that kind of stuff does
go a long way in sports, that if you can
convince these guys similar to the way Nick Sabe used
to do, be like, hey, we're the underdogs in this situation.
Everybody doesn't think we have it in it. I'm like, bro,
you're Alabama. Everybody thinks you have it in you like,
but he convinced these young kids that they were fighting

(24:05):
in uphill battle. And if Nick Sirowanni can convince this
current team we didn't do anything like last year's last year,
it doesn't matter anymore. We got to go at it
again with the same level of energy and vitriol if
we're gonna repeat as champions. And then I will say
this though, even though I do expect the Eagles are
going to blow out Dallas, especially after the Mica backlash,

(24:27):
did you know that Dak Prescott is thirty three and
eight against the NFC East in his career? Nope, Like
that might be my favorite stat.

Speaker 2 (24:35):
Well, wait a minute, Washington was down for many years
with the Daniel Steiner.

Speaker 4 (24:40):
Sure, but we talk about Tom Brady all the time,
like tom Brady's got like a nine hundred win percentage
against the AFC East, and it's like, yeah, well, you
beat up on the Jets and the Bill sucked for
a long time and the Dolphins were never good. So
can we have Dak like a little bit of credit
even if they were the NFC least for a while.

Speaker 3 (24:55):
The fact that he did it is kind of cool.

Speaker 2 (24:57):
No, that's that's a good point. I did not know that.
I do like the Eagles big in their opener, Dak Prescott.
Is he even drafted? By the way, I know Rob
is a renowned fantasy player. Is that a try you're
considering drafting? Uh, you'd laid in drafts.

Speaker 4 (25:12):
Yes, you haven't done your draft yet. Hopefully you get
it done today, right because the draft they starts the
season tomorrow. Yeah, if you get him, like in the
tenth or eleventh round, I mean, you forget two years ago,
before this injury, Dak was an All Pro quarterback second
in MVP.

Speaker 2 (25:28):
Yeah, no, he was. I forget who their running back
was that year. Was it the end of seek? No,
that would I think he's been going.

Speaker 3 (25:37):
Longer, but that would have been a Tony Pollard.

Speaker 2 (25:40):
Tony Pollard. Yeah, by the way, I like Tony Pollard
and Fantasy. I have a couple more drafts to go.
My son, you'll be proud to know, got an A
in his draft and I had only minimal help.

Speaker 3 (25:50):
Well, that means he's gonna lose. Everyone knows that.

Speaker 2 (25:52):
If you get a good draft. Yea, if he had
a good draft, that means're gonna be terrible. I guess
the other angle that I'm sitting on is this whole
like Chiefs. I mean, I get so much shit for
this anti Chiefs. I need the Chargers to show up
in the opener, rob like big time. Do you want
to go ahead and drop your Super Bowl predictions here?

Speaker 3 (26:13):
Sure? I mean they're all published on social media.

Speaker 4 (26:15):
But as far as the Chiefs go to leave that first,
this will be the first year in what a decade.

Speaker 3 (26:20):
That I'm not picking them to win the AFC West.

Speaker 2 (26:23):
Wow.

Speaker 3 (26:23):
I have the.

Speaker 4 (26:24):
Denver Broncos winning that division and that hurts because I'm
a Raider fan, because I want them to be terrible.
So but whatever Super Bowl, I think Lamar Jackson finally
breaks through. Who give me the Baltimore Ravens in a
mild upset over the Philadelphia Eagles. You got Eagles going
back but that's the one I feel less confident in

(26:44):
than the Ravens.

Speaker 2 (26:46):
Ravens Eagles. Interesting, well, in that wins pool that you
pick or that I'm doing, I got the Ravens with
my first pick. I had the third overall pick. I
really wanted the Bills went first, and I think I
forget who one second, but I got raven So I
don't hate that. I will go Bill's defeat the forty

(27:10):
nine Ers. Kyle Shanahan loses another Super Bowl. Now it's
weird because a lot of people don't even have the
Niners anywhere, and I just maybe I'm reading too much
into the playoff are the schedule. I think they can
host every playoff game and they won't have to go
to a green Bay of Philadelphia hostile environments because the
schedule is so freaking easy. All Right, that's it for Wednesday.

(27:33):
We will have an NFL guy picking games coming up,
and then I don't exactly know what we'll do because
it's not a monster college football weekend. But actually, you
know what, Friday's pot will probably be reaction to the
ego smash and the Cowboys and upset Jerry Jones. Yeah,

(27:54):
it's just you know, the new schedule will do a
fewer interviews. I think Rob I know he's in it
with two two kids under five, which is tough. I'm I'm,
you know, two kids older who don't want to hang
with me anymore. So I'm in great shape, so I'm
I'm ready to rock and roll. So we'll talk to
you more
