us one of the great months on the calendar. I
maintain November is the greatest month for sports. March would
be obviously be second, but October has a very strong

October also has the NBA regular season getting underway. October
has NFL college football. It's really good. The only reason
I love November is because obviously Thanksgiving is a wonderful holiday.
You get college basketball. I watch more college basketball than

I do baseball. You have really meaningful college football games,
and the NBA, you know, is more than like a
couple games. So I'll go November, March, October probably in
that order in terms of sports watching months. And listen,
I'm starting off talking about randomness because I'm not gonna
lie to you guys. As my young son says, I'm

not gonna cap the games. Last night sucked. Dolphins twenty seven,
Jets twenty one. Will talk about it, but there's nothing
interesting there. The game's stunk. It was terrible. Tyreek Hill's
done for the season. I don't know if he might.
I might have been his last game in Miami. The
overhit though, so we want some money. Congrats yay. And
then Broncos twenty eight Bengals three, Like that game was unwatchable.

I mean Bengals in two games without Joe Burrow looked
completely lost. Remember how Jake Browning, Well, he's a competent backup,
Sure as hell hasn't looked like it now. Vikings and
Broncos are good defensive teams. I don't know Browning who
so a lot of Can we get Kirk Cousins in
the room, Yeah, that's I don't think that's happening. I

just have to add this was as painful a fantasy
week as I've ever endured. I put this on ig So,
my son and I. We have a combined four teams.

I lost three. I lost two.

Games by less than two points, and he lost one
by one point. How on earth does that happen?

I should say I was all hot on Gino spent

so he started Geno. I started Gino, he had Dak
on his bench. He went Piersoll over Metcalf. Piersall's good.
I didn't think Metcalf would eat against the Vikings, and

those were poor decisions. But it's just it's painful to
lose close. I was riding high in fantasy guys. Oh
my gosh, my boy was cooking, and the last two
weeks have not been great. How's this? I'm going to
end with five strong minutes on an item from NBA
Media Day that I think should be a big deal,

but it probably won't be because it's the NFL and
everybody's going to talk about Tyreek Hill. Let's start with
my Jets, and I'm getting really upset, and I'm just kidding.

They stink, you know.

They can't move the football until it's garbage time. They had.
Let me just get this accurate, thirteen penalties for one
hundred and one yards undisciplined mess. The first drive is
going so smoothly, and then Braylan Allen gets it punched out.
Twelve plays, eighty two yards, eight minutes and he gets
punched out at like the two yard line next possession.

Fumbles and it's recovered by the Dolphins in Jets territory.
The opening kickoff of the second half, the Jets fumble,
So one fumble on the doorstep, one fumble on their

then one fumble at the thirty five. They're own thirty five. Like,
you can't win games that way. The Dolphins, Let's see

what did they do in response? So they got a touchdown,
then a punt, and then a touchdown. So fourteen points
off turnovers. You're not gonna win that way. They just
are not a good football team right now. I know
the final stats will say four hundred yards seven point
one yards per play. Guys, they were they were, I
mean they were getting their doors blown off, and then
they just got a bunch of junk yards, empty calories,

if you will. At the end, to make it moderately interesting,
I'm at the point where it listen, they're own four.
There's three winless teams in the league. The Jets own four,
the Saints and the Titans. Those are by far the
three worst teams in the league. I mean, there's other
bad teams. The Dolphins are not good. The Giants are

not good. But I don't really have an issue with
them being oh and four.

I don't.

I'm not like, oh gosh, the stinks they're own four.
I mean their point differential is better than the Dolphins.
It's better than the Bengals, is better than the Titans,
it's better than the Saints. Like they're competitive in their losses.
I mean, they got smoked by Buffalo, but they lost
to the Steelers by two, the Bucks by two. They

lost to the Steelers on a sixty yard field goal,
They lost to the Bucks on a game winning field
goal at the Horn, and they lose to the Dolphins
by six. Whatever. I can't be upset like they're not good.
We knew they weren't going to be good. This is
what I want to talk to you about. At what
point do the Jets look themselves in the mirror and say,
you know, we thought we had something here.

We don't.
Speaker 2 (05:37):
We like the offensive line, the young guy Forshanu, he's
pretty good. Membu, the rookie out of Missouri. He's pretty good.
So like we like our tackles. Obviously Avt being out hurts.
We like Tipman, he can play anywhere. With our new
Center's not bad. The young titand Mason Taylor's not bad.
Bretze Hall fine, Braylen Allen got hurt. Hopefully it's not

that bad. Garrett Wilson. Obviously we're not moving off of
We like a lot of our pieces on offense. The
defense is the problem. They're not good at all, and
they're living off you know what they accomplished years ago.
And you know, if we're being honest with ourselves, looking
in the mirror, come to Jesus moment, you know, I

love Sauce Gardener as much of the next guy. Right now,
the La Rams are desperate for a cornerback. The Detroit
Lions they could use a cornerback.

NFC specific simply because I can't. It's tough for me
to imagine them trading Sauce Gardener to say the Buffalo Bills,
who also are desperate in the secondary, I mean the
Ravens also desperate. Like there's a lot of teams in
the AFC that are desperate. But if I'm the Jets,
do I try to get a bidding more going for
Sauce Gardner? And I think the answer, as much as

I like him, is yeah, guys. You haven't want anything
with Sauce Gardner.

Is he good?

Yes? Is he an all pronium?

If you if the Rams say, okay, we'll give you
a second a third, if the Lions say, will give

and you say yes, you are now moving closer to
building a roster through the draft because you're not winning
anything with Sauce. I know he's young, and he's got
a lot of upside. He could be your guy for
five years. I just don't totally see the point. If

you can get picks for him, I think you move
him now. I don't know if I want to move
Quinn Williams yet, who, by the way, was grading out
as one of the best defensive tackles in the league.
He's awesome. I think you have Will McDonald, the young
kid out of Iowa State who blocked the field goal
last week.

And Jermaine Johnson, who's hurt again. I think you look
at those two guys and you say, you know, forty
nine ers, how serious are you guys about making a run.
You got Robert Sala. Sala knows McDonald and drums and
as well as anybody. You want one of those two, Robert,
any interest? But what are you willing to give up now?
Ideally I don't want to give up McDonald. He's still
on the rookie deal. Johnson is as well, but you're

gonna have to pay him soon.

I don't know. I'm just exploring ideas.

This is how you get better. The Jets don't have
an identity, they don't have a quarterback. Obviously they need
a number one overall pick, and it's got to be
a quarterback.

If you asked me in August, I would have said, well,
arch Manning, because everybody wants Arch. I was not a
huge club Nick guy. I was not a huge Nussamier guy.

have performed well so far to me are Dante Mordor Agon,

looks like a stud. Miami's the top five team, So
you can have options at one with a quarterback, but
you need more than that, and I think you definitely
need a number two receiver behind Garrett Wilson. I'm not
moving off Wilson, and it's weird, but I can see
the Jets with the right quarterback right and you get
another ride receiver and the offense clicks boom, and you've

got something that can be turned around quickly. Defense is
a little more hit or miss. That's why I'm wanting
to move off some guys and use picks to take
more bites at the Apple.

I'm sure people will disagree with me, and I know
buddies who have Sauce Gardner jerseys. I get that I'm
a Sauce Gardner guy, but the way to get this
team better is to get better players, and I don't
know that Sauce is elite anymore.

He's very handsy.

The announcers even more, like listen, he could be This
isn't the guy who he was a a rookie, and
I don't know that you can get a one for
him given his contract. He's not Micah Parsons. Okay, let's real,
I would take picks. I do think the Jets obviously
are gonna be in the mix for the number one pick.
But you could tell I'm not like upset about it

because I came in with low expectations. When they went
out and got Aaron Rodgers and bent over backwards to
get his OC his wide receivers, Cobb blazard, blah blah blah.
They did everything for him and that flopped. Yeah, that
pissed me off. That was annoying, especially when it was
on Rogers, who last year was shot the bed in
big spots laden games. I mean, I don't have it
off the top of my head, but I know for

sure there was a game against Minnesota International game that
killed me. There was a game against Buffalo where he
was crap and then blamed it on one of the receivers.
And this is off the top of my head.

But I'm just it gets to be a little It's
not a trigger, but I get really pissed just thinking
about how much of a dick this guy was.

Anyways, we're past that.

We've moved on obviously, and and I think that's the
path forward for the Jets. Now the Miami Dolphins, do
you guys know, I like to say the best time
to rebuild was last year. All off season I pushed
trading Tyreek Hill. Then I said, okay, you know, maybe
they trade him at the deadline. He's done dislocated knee.

I think it's a legitimate question. Will he play for
the Dolphins again. That seems unlikely. I don't even know
if he'll be back at the beginning of next year,
because that's like a serious, serious injury. On back to
back days in the NFL season, we lose Molak Neighbors
and Tyreek Hill, two of the what ted best receivers

in the league going down on back to back days,
Like that's not good. I mean, the Giants are already
unwatchable unless you get excited about Jackson Dart and his
mom in the stands and they keep showing her every second.
And Miami is they're just not good. I cannot get
interested in Miami Dolphins. So, you know, Troy Syikman made
a comment about how the football is not great and

guys not gonna lie.

There's a lot of bad teams in this league.

It feels like, and I'm not getting political, it just
kind of sort of feels like what's happening in America.
You've got your top elites who are fine, they're cruising,
and then everyone else is just like fumbling for scraps.
That's kind of where we are. These are the teams
with a winning record in the AFC. Buffalo, Pittsburgh and
I will probably do Pittsburgh tomorrow, Indianapolis Colts, Jacksonville, LA Chargers.

Five teams with winning records in the AFC. The NFC
you have Washington, Detroit, Green Bay, Tampa, San fran Seattle Rams.
So seven in the NFC. The NFC is just so
much tougher. Yeah, So, I don't know where Miami goes

from here. They're not really going anywhere. McDaniel continues to
stave off the vulture who are coming for his job.
Tough performance against Buffalo. Nice win next week. They will
beat the Panthers on the road. Probably after that Chargers, Browns,
good luck, Falcons, Ravens might be over at that point.
Prayers up for Tyreek Hill obviously, who is gonna hurt

a lot of fantasy teams. The guy you want is
Malik Washington. He is.

I want to be on a team that allows me
and gives me a chance to win a championship and
compete at a high level. I had the same thoughts
last year, two years ago, five years ago. It's never

going to change. I want to be among the best.
I want to compete with the best, and I want
to win each other championship.

He had the chance multiple outs to say, yeah, I
don't want to go anywhere, I want to win a
title here. Essentially, what Yannis is telling you is, hey,
I don't know, we don't have much here. I want
to win championships and they might have to trade me.

That's what he's saying. So if you're the Bucks and
you hear.

That, okay, I think you have to and I don't.
There's not really a delicate way to do this because
you know everybody's leaking stuff to the media. But if
you're the Milwaukee Bucks, you have to be working the
phones and understanding what on earth is out there? What
could you get for Yannis? I mean, you're not going

to get a top ten player, right that. I think
that's pretty well established. Ideally, in a perfect world for Yannis,
who's the top five player in the league, you're getting
favorable contracts, role players, and a slew of picks, so
you can have bites at the apple to get the
next Cooper.

The problem is, will Yanis want to go to any
of those places that have a lot of picks. Do
you see Yannis playing in Brooklyn with the Nets who

No, he's not gonna want to go there. He's not
gonna have a chance to win a championship. He sees
Kevin Durant forced his way to Houston. Houston's a top
five team in the league this year, guys, right, smart
job by Kevin Durant. Lebron every year is competing for
a title.

Jokic, I mean.

Denver was in like up the creek without a paddle,
and then they had just had a tremendous offseason. They
might be the team to beat in the West. You
got Okc, which I don't totally believe him, but they
got a great roster. I mean, Giannis needs a lot
of help. I think he's got to look in the East,
but the Bucks will want to ship him west. If
there's any world where he could partner with Wembin Yama,

that would be amazing. Not great that they're in San Antonio,
but ultimately it doesn't matter that much that they're in
San Antonio. Would the league prefer Jannis be in I
don't know, Chicago, but the Bulls have nothing, They're not contending,
so somebody somewhere has to make a move for Giannis,

and the Bucks have to start activating this sooner than later.
You don't want to wait till next summer when it's
clear that only like two teams will be in the
mix and the asking price goes down. If you just
like we saw with basically any star over the last
five years, the earlier you get the bidding war started,
the more you get. The Dallas Cowboys winning until the

very last moment to move off my guy, and they
got like nothing in return. Okay, if you are the
Milwaukee Bucks, you have to seriously look at this roster
and say, damn, we ain't got anything here. I mean,
we'll do, you know, previews as we get closer to
the start of the NBA season. But I'm looking at
this Bucks depth chart, folks.

Okay, Kevin Porter Junior and Gary Trent Junior, they're small
forward as Kyle Kuzman is the man off the court.
He's a fashion guy. He's dating Winnie Harlow, this beautiful model.
He's not an NBA like, he's just not an NBA
the player that wins, in my opinion, you want to

make him your six man great and their centers Bobby
Portis will be playing out of position. Brook Lopez somehow
still on the roster. The bench is Torrian Prince, AJ Green,
Ryan Rollins, Andre Jackson, Pat Connaton. Again, that starting backcourt
of Porter and Trent is like whack a doodle. I
know Giannis is out here saying.

Oh, we got dogs, man, we got dogs.

Oh really, I'm sorry, I don't see Kevin Porter Junior
as a dog. Is he a good offensive player?

Yeah, in one on one where it's like.

Two dribbles from the elbow, you know, when you play
one on one with like two or three dribbles from
the elbow. Yeah, He's probably unstoppable in a team basketball setting.

He's never won anything at any level. Guys, Gary Trent Junior,
you know he can get incendiary hot and bury eight
to nine threes in a game. But okay, I mean,
can you lie on that. I just don't think the
Bucks have anything.

I don't think they're even close.

And so that's why I think they actually need to
be smart about this. Like like now, guys, now, I
know this is the year where Tatum is allegedly going
to be out. Now, if you listen to Tatum and
I follow him on ig. He's not saying he's out
for the year. It had the injury happened in the playoffs.
It really only happened like five months ago. It sounds
like he's pulling an Aaron Rodgers where he's like, oh yeah,

four or five months later you could play. It's just
not realistic and then you re injure it and you're
out again like that. That would just be devastating. I
think you got to watch out for a team like
the Hawks. We know the Cavs are going to be good.
The Pacers, no Tyreese Halliburton, they'll they'll take a step back.

The Knicks will be there.
Speaker 2 (21:44):
I think they Orlando Magic or Frisky. This is probably
the year for the Sixers. So yeah, the Bucks could
finish in the top eight, but they're not going anywhere.
And so again I opened the pot talking about like, yeah,
if I'm the Jets, I'm starting to move off guys.
I know that the team won't see it that way,
because you know, these organizations are afraid to do things,

but fortune favors the bold, and if the Jets were smart,
they would start unloading guys and getting a bunch of picks.

And if you can go on to next year's draft
with ten picks and say five of them in their
first three rounds, oh shit, we got something going now.
At least there's hope. Right now, there's really not anything.
So a few of the Bucks and I know Bucks fans, oh,
we can't trade Giannis.

Will be nothing. You gotta be nothing when he leaves.

I'm not saying ship him to Siberia because he's not
gonna want to sign there and nobody's gonna give up

you know a lot of these NBA teams aren't really
that creative. We shall see what happens. I don't foresee
some kind of swap for like you know, Zion or

any of that. I don't see any of that stuff.
Dallas is intriguing, but they're not giving up Cooper flag.
Come on, well, you think the Bucks are taking Anthony Davis? No,
that's it's not happening. The Clippers are interesting, but I
don't know why anybody would want to get in with
Kawhi like an Internet picks. So it's going to be interesting.

But again, let's just remember this. Always move on before
they move on from you. And if you are the
Milwaukee Bucks and you want a big, big haul, you
better do that now. You could do it now, you
can do February, but you've got to do it before
the end of the season. For sure. Do not even
if you're fourth in the East. I don't want to

interesting there. The game's stunk. It was terrible. Tyreek Hill's
done for the season. I don't know if he might.
I might have been his last game in Miami. The
overhit though, so we want some money. Congrats yay. And
then Broncos twenty eight Bengals three, Like that game was unwatchable.

I mean Bengals in two games without Joe Burrow looked
completely lost. Remember how Jake Browning, Well, he's a competent backup,
Sure as hell hasn't looked like it now. Vikings and
Broncos are good defensive teams. I don't know Browning who

the room, Yeah, that's I don't think that's happening. I

just have to add this was as painful a fantasy
week as I've ever endured. I put this on ig So,

I didn't think Metcalf would eat against the Vikings, and

those were poor decisions. But it's just it's painful to
lose close. I was riding high in fantasy guys. Oh
my gosh, my boy was cooking, and the last two
weeks have not been great. How's this? I'm going to
end with five strong minutes on an item from NBA
Media Day that I think should be a big deal,

but it probably won't be because it's the NFL and
everybody's going to talk about Tyreek Hill. Let's start with
my Jets, and I'm getting really upset, and I'm just kidding.

you can't win games that way. The Dolphins, Let's see

what did they do in response? So they got a touchdown,
then a punt, and then a touchdown. So fourteen points
off turnovers. You're not gonna win that way. They just
are not a good football team right now. I know
the final stats will say four hundred yards seven point
one yards per play. Guys, they were they were, I
mean they were getting their doors blown off, and then
they just got a bunch of junk yards, empty calories,

if you will. At the end, to make it moderately interesting,
I'm at the point where it listen, they're own four.
There's three winless teams in the league. The Jets own four,
the Saints and the Titans. Those are by far the
three worst teams in the league. I mean, there's other
bad teams. The Dolphins are not good. The Giants are

not good. But I don't really have an issue with
them being oh and four.

I'm not like, oh gosh, the stinks they're own four.
I mean their point differential is better than the Dolphins.
It's better than the Bengals, is better than the Titans,
it's better than the Saints. Like they're competitive in their losses.
I mean, they got smoked by Buffalo, but they lost
to the Steelers by two, the Bucks by two. They

lost to the Steelers on a sixty yard field goal,
They lost to the Bucks on a game winning field
goal at the Horn, and they lose to the Dolphins
by six. Whatever. I can't be upset like they're not good.
We knew they weren't going to be good. This is
what I want to talk to you about. At what
point do the Jets look themselves in the mirror and say,
you know, we thought we had something here.

We like the offensive line, the young guy Forshanu, he's
pretty good. Membu, the rookie out of Missouri. He's pretty good.
So like we like our tackles. Obviously Avt being out hurts.
We like Tipman, he can play anywhere. With our new
Center's not bad. The young titand Mason Taylor's not bad.
Bretze Hall fine, Braylen Allen got hurt. Hopefully it's not

that bad. Garrett Wilson. Obviously we're not moving off of
We like a lot of our pieces on offense. The
defense is the problem. They're not good at all, and
they're living off you know what they accomplished years ago.
And you know, if we're being honest with ourselves, looking
in the mirror, come to Jesus moment, you know, I

love Sauce Gardener as much of the next guy. Right now,
the La Rams are desperate for a cornerback. The Detroit
Lions they could use a cornerback.

NFC specific simply because I can't. It's tough for me
to imagine them trading Sauce Gardener to say the Buffalo Bills,
who also are desperate in the secondary, I mean the
Ravens also desperate. Like there's a lot of teams in
the AFC that are desperate. But if I'm the Jets,
do I try to get a bidding more going for
Sauce Gardner? And I think the answer, as much as

I like him, is yeah, guys. You haven't want anything
with Sauce Gardner.

anything with Sauce. I know he's young, and he's got
a lot of upside. He could be your guy for
five years. I just don't totally see the point. If

you can get picks for him, I think you move
him now. I don't know if I want to move
Quinn Williams yet, who, by the way, was grading out
as one of the best defensive tackles in the league.
He's awesome. I think you have Will McDonald, the young
kid out of Iowa State who blocked the field goal

And Jermaine Johnson, who's hurt again. I think you look
at those two guys and you say, you know, forty
nine ers, how serious are you guys about making a run.
You got Robert Sala. Sala knows McDonald and drums and

any interest? But what are you willing to give up now?
Ideally I don't want to give up McDonald. He's still
on the rookie deal. Johnson is as well, but you're

the Jets with the right quarterback right and you get

got something that can be turned around quickly. Defense is
a little more hit or miss. That's why I'm wanting
to move off some guys and use picks to take
more bites at the Apple.

buddies who have Sauce Gardner jerseys. I get that I'm
a Sauce Gardner guy, but the way to get this
team better is to get better players, and I don't
know that Sauce is elite anymore.

The announcers even more, like listen, he could be This
isn't the guy who he was a a rookie, and
I don't know that you can get a one for
him given his contract. He's not Micah Parsons. Okay, let's real,
I would take picks. I do think the Jets obviously
are gonna be in the mix for the number one pick.
But you could tell I'm not like upset about it

because I came in with low expectations. When they went
out and got Aaron Rodgers and bent over backwards to
get his OC his wide receivers, Cobb blazard, blah blah blah.
They did everything for him and that flopped. Yeah, that
pissed me off. That was annoying, especially when it was
on Rogers, who last year was shot the bed in
big spots laden games. I mean, I don't have it
off the top of my head, but I know for

sure there was a game against Minnesota International game that
killed me. There was a game against Buffalo where he
was crap and then blamed it on one of the receivers.
And this is off the top of my head.

But I'm just it gets to be a little It's
not a trigger, but I get really pissed just thinking
about how much of a dick this guy was.

We've moved on obviously, and and I think that's the
path forward for the Jets. Now the Miami Dolphins, do
you guys know, I like to say the best time
to rebuild was last year. All off season I pushed
trading Tyreek Hill. Then I said, okay, you know, maybe
they trade him at the deadline. He's done dislocated knee.

I think it's a legitimate question. Will he play for
the Dolphins again. That seems unlikely. I don't even know
if he'll be back at the beginning of next year,
because that's like a serious, serious injury. On back to
back days in the NFL season, we lose Molak Neighbors
and Tyreek Hill, two of the what ted best receivers

in the league going down on back to back days,
Like that's not good. I mean, the Giants are already
unwatchable unless you get excited about Jackson Dart and his
mom in the stands and they keep showing her every second.
And Miami is they're just not good. I cannot get
interested in Miami Dolphins. So, you know, Troy Syikman made
a comment about how the football is not great and

guys not gonna lie.

There's a lot of bad teams in this league.

It feels like, and I'm not getting political, it just
kind of sort of feels like what's happening in America.
You've got your top elites who are fine, they're cruising,
and then everyone else is just like fumbling for scraps.
That's kind of where we are. These are the teams
with a winning record in the AFC. Buffalo, Pittsburgh and
I will probably do Pittsburgh tomorrow, Indianapolis Colts, Jacksonville, LA Chargers.

Five teams with winning records in the AFC. The NFC
you have Washington, Detroit, Green Bay, Tampa, San fran Seattle Rams.
So seven in the NFC. The NFC is just so

from here. They're not really going anywhere. McDaniel continues to
stave off the vulture who are coming for his job.
Tough performance against Buffalo. Nice win next week. They will
beat the Panthers on the road. Probably after that Chargers, Browns,
good luck, Falcons, Ravens might be over at that point.
Prayers up for Tyreek Hill obviously, who is gonna hurt

going to change. I want to be among the best.
I want to compete with the best, and I want
to win each other championship.

He had the chance multiple outs to say, yeah, I
don't want to go anywhere, I want to win a
title here. Essentially, what Yannis is telling you is, hey,
I don't know, we don't have much here. I want
to win championships and they might have to trade me.

That's what he's saying. So if you're the Bucks and
you hear.

That, okay, I think you have to and I don't.
There's not really a delicate way to do this because
you know everybody's leaking stuff to the media. But if
you're the Milwaukee Bucks, you have to be working the
phones and understanding what on earth is out there? What
could you get for Yannis? I mean, you're not going

to get a top ten player, right that. I think
that's pretty well established. Ideally, in a perfect world for Yannis,
who's the top five player in the league, you're getting
favorable contracts, role players, and a slew of picks, so
you can have bites at the apple to get the
next Cooper.

The problem is, will Yanis want to go to any
of those places that have a lot of picks. Do
you see Yannis playing in Brooklyn with the Nets who

gonna have a chance to win a championship. He sees
Kevin Durant forced his way to Houston. Houston's a top
five team in the league this year, guys, right, smart

Denver was in like up the creek without a paddle,
and then they had just had a tremendous offseason. They
might be the team to beat in the West. You
got Okc, which I don't totally believe him, but they
got a great roster. I mean, Giannis needs a lot
of help. I think he's got to look in the East,
but the Bucks will want to ship him west. If
there's any world where he could partner with Wembin Yama,

that would be amazing. Not great that they're in San Antonio,
but ultimately it doesn't matter that much that they're in
San Antonio. Would the league prefer Jannis be in I
don't know, Chicago, but the Bulls have nothing, They're not contending,
so somebody somewhere has to make a move for Giannis,

and the Bucks have to start activating this sooner than later.
You don't want to wait till next summer when it's
clear that only like two teams will be in the
mix and the asking price goes down. If you just
like we saw with basically any star over the last
five years, the earlier you get the bidding war started,
the more you get. The Dallas Cowboys winning until the

very last moment to move off my guy, and they
got like nothing in return. Okay, if you are the
Milwaukee Bucks, you have to seriously look at this roster
and say, damn, we ain't got anything here. I mean,
we'll do, you know, previews as we get closer to
the start of the NBA season. But I'm looking at
this Bucks depth chart, folks.

Okay, Kevin Porter Junior and Gary Trent Junior, they're small
forward as Kyle Kuzman is the man off the court.
He's a fashion guy. He's dating Winnie Harlow, this beautiful model.
He's not an NBA like, he's just not an NBA
the player that wins, in my opinion, you want to

make him your six man great and their centers Bobby
Portis will be playing out of position. Brook Lopez somehow
still on the roster. The bench is Torrian Prince, AJ Green,
Ryan Rollins, Andre Jackson, Pat Connaton. Again, that starting backcourt
of Porter and Trent is like whack a doodle. I
know Giannis is out here saying.

Oh, we got dogs, man, we got dogs.

Oh really, I'm sorry, I don't see Kevin Porter Junior
as a dog. Is he a good offensive player?

Yeah, in one on one where it's like.

Two dribbles from the elbow, you know, when you play
one on one with like two or three dribbles from
the elbow. Yeah, He's probably unstoppable in a team basketball setting.

He's never won anything at any level. Guys, Gary Trent Junior,
you know he can get incendiary hot and bury eight
to nine threes in a game. But okay, I mean,
can you lie on that. I just don't think the
Bucks have anything.

I don't think they're even close.

And so that's why I think they actually need to
be smart about this. Like like now, guys, now, I
know this is the year where Tatum is allegedly going
to be out. Now, if you listen to Tatum and
I follow him on ig. He's not saying he's out
for the year. It had the injury happened in the playoffs.
It really only happened like five months ago. It sounds
like he's pulling an Aaron Rodgers where he's like, oh yeah,

four or five months later you could play. It's just
not realistic and then you re injure it and you're
out again like that. That would just be devastating. I
think you got to watch out for a team like
the Hawks. We know the Cavs are going to be good.
The Pacers, no Tyreese Halliburton, they'll they'll take a step back.

The Knicks will be there.
Speaker 2 (21:44):
I think they Orlando Magic or Frisky. This is probably
the year for the Sixers. So yeah, the Bucks could
finish in the top eight, but they're not going anywhere.
And so again I opened the pot talking about like, yeah,
if I'm the Jets, I'm starting to move off guys.
I know that the team won't see it that way,
because you know, these organizations are afraid to do things,

but fortune favors the bold, and if the Jets were smart,
they would start unloading guys and getting a bunch of picks.

And if you can go on to next year's draft
with ten picks and say five of them in their
first three rounds, oh shit, we got something going now.
At least there's hope. Right now, there's really not anything.
So a few of the Bucks and I know Bucks fans, oh,
we can't trade Giannis.

Will be nothing. You gotta be nothing when he leaves.

Guys, why don't you beat him to the punch. And
I'm not saying ship him to Siberia because he's not
gonna want to sign there and nobody's gonna give up
a ton. But you've got to get creative, and I
you know a lot of these NBA teams aren't really
that creative. We shall see what happens. I don't foresee
some kind of swap for like you know, Zion or

any of that. I don't see any of that stuff.
Dallas is intriguing, but they're not giving up Cooper flag.
Come on, well, you think the Bucks are taking Anthony Davis? No,
that's it's not happening. The Clippers are interesting, but I
don't know why anybody would want to get in with
Kawhi like an Internet picks. So it's going to be interesting.

But again, let's just remember this. Always move on before
they move on from you. And if you are the
Milwaukee Bucks and you want a big, big haul, you
better do that now. You could do it now, you
can do February, but you've got to do it before
the end of the season. For sure. Do not even
if you're fourth in the East. I don't want to

hear this. We got a chance, it's going to be fools,
