Depending on when you listen to this, you might have
already seen me. So last year I went with my
staple outfit, which is a Cobra Kai member. It's so
easy headbanned a Cobra Kai outfit. It's a layup, you know,
and I get to shout a show off the guns.

This I can't. I wanted to run it back, but
I was like, oh, let me change it up. So
I'm not going to tell you the outfit, but I
will give you a hint. It is timely and it's relevant,
and I borrowed one part of the outfit for my buddy,
the Laker season ticket holder. And I think you'll like it.
It's gonna be fun. I don't know if Coward will

like it. He does not know a couple of the
guys on staff. No, because we discussed it initially, I
was like, no, I'm not dressing up that's but wait,
why not? Why not? It's fun but should be a
good show. And the better part is I'm at that
stage and I don't know how much you guys care
about this of Halloween where the kids are like, yeah,
we we're good. We don't we don't need to dad,

we got this, And you know, I get it, but
I don't totally get it. I was a idiot, dumb
young guy who went and saw younger kids and was
like trying to steal candy. You know, we would do
dumb things. So I don't want that to have it
on my kids. And you have a boy and a
girl obviously worried about the girls. She's got her crew

and blah blah blah. But I so it's gonna be
an interesting Halloween at the vacatire household. I'm basically like, listen,
I will shadow you from a distance. I'll have a flashlight,
I'll hang with another dad. But what if there's not
another parent that wants to go and they're like, yeah,
I'm not doing that. I just don't know how I feel.
I know, I know, hovering parent, blah blah blah. Yeah,

we'll see She's it's gonna be tense, my son. I'm
not worried about he's got his he's got his act together.
That being said, now he's on he's in high school,
and now there's parties. And again I'm not I'm not
listening too closely to some of these guys talk a
lot of garbage. But when I hear freshman boys not
my son, say phrases like oh she was blackout drunk,

I'm like, come on, what what pliant? It is this
a ninth grader? Get in my head? I'm like, you're
not hanging out with that guy. I know, I know
you guys listen to this jamac you're crazy. But anyways,
that's Halloween. That's where I am. Also, you know where
else I am. I am excited about the Baltimore Ravens.
I told you guys yesterday you listen to the pod.
I was like, what am I missing here? Why the
hell is this only seven and a half? Why isn't
this more? Does somebody know something? And then crazily enough,

it dipped to six and a half right before kickoff.
I'm like, what are what are people doing? And weren't
odd Space in NFL gambling now? Because the favorites are
just dominating now for the last few Thursdays, the dogs
have been barking, but last Sunday the favorites just rolled.
And they rolled on Monday night, Cheese over Washington. At

all these sharps, you know, sharps like to bet dogs,
and I get that dogs have value. The public wants
to bet favorites, so those lines are inflated. And it
was like, okay, Baltimore, Miami, let me not go soap
super heavy on Baltimore. But I put them in a
bunch of teasers down to one, one and a half
and I'm like, all right, we're fine. So you watch
the first half and you're like, all right, Baltimore looks okay,

not amazing. I see according to my stats here, they
had four first downs in the first half. It was
a little clunky, you know, it wasn't super sharp. They went,
let's go. They went three and out, yeah, three and out,
and then the Dolphins with a fumble and they go
four play seven yards touchdown, right, so you get the lead.
Then they go on a long touchdown drive. But after that,

all right, let's go for the knockout punch. They go
three and out, three and out, three and out halftime,
and I'm like, I don't know. That's just not like
a particularly sharp look. I didn't bet the second half,
but I was like, uh, but Miami's gonna hang around.
Miami did not hang around. Baltimore came out with two
touchdown drives to open the second half. Lamar found his

footing in his first game back, four touchdown passes eighteen
of twenty three. He was pretty sharp. He didn't do
a lot of running. Interestingly, five rushes fourteen yards. Now,
maybe this is just my untrained eye, but A it
didn't look like he wanted to run, and B he
didn't look as fast and elusive. On his longest carry,
he got tripped up, and you know, normally Lamar's like

high stepping and getting out of that and peeling off
fifty yard carries. Interestingly, I didn't see that. But again,
first game back, dip his toe in. I will say this,
the window's basically gone to bet the Ravens to win
the division. At this point, you have to bet them
to win the AFC. That's where the value would be
if you're a believer in this team. They do have
a diverse offense. I don't know, if you guys, how

much of the game you watched. It was kind of boring,
but three touchdown passes to tight ends. Zay Flowers looks
very good. He is shifty as hell. Bateman caught a touchdown.
They've got weapons. They don't have any stars on the outside.
But honestly, if you stack up the skill position players
of the Chiefs and Bills compared to the Ravens, like,

who is the best skill position player? Is Derrick Henry?
Is it Rashie Rice? Is it James Cook? I don't
But the bottom line is there is no real unbelievable
superstar Like I think Rashi Rice might be a one.
Speaker 1 (05:39):
He looks good.

We'll see. I need more than you know. I don't
know seventeen games to know. But it was an interesting
performance from the Ravens, who kind of powered down in
the second half. And what was more impressive to me
was that Miami could do nothing. Oero for three in
the red zone. They had three turnovers, and you know,
at this point, I know everybody's saying, oh, yeah, fire,

Mike McDaniel, Guys, what is that gonna do? You know,
that's not doing anything. Who you're gonna bring it is
to coach them up for the rest of the season.
There's a long way to go. There's only nine games in.
You still got eight more games. That's a long season
to go. So I mean you could let McDaniel twist
in the wind. Maybe he wants to be let go
and go have Thanksgiving and a pleasant Christmas with his

family and not deal with this crap. They're a bad
football team. Now here's the interesting thing. The trade deadline's
coming up. Is there anyone on Miami that has value?
I mean, you'd say Jalen Waddle, but I don't necessarily
know that you want to give him up. You're not
gonna get a one in return? H chid, Like, is

there an appetite for him somewhere around the league? I mean,
do the contenders want a fast running back who you
know may or may not be a factor in the postseason.
I mean, his speed can surely do some things. But
I mean maybe the Chargers will be in interest. But like,
I don't really understand what what are you giving up
for a chance? So there isn't a ton of value

I think anywhere that that just shows how bad the
roster is without Tyreek Hill. Holy hell, there's there's really
not a lot of anything here. You look on the
defensive side of the ball. Maybe somebody bites on Minka
Fitzpatrick in the secondary, but he's not having an amazing season.

off the radar. So ultimately, like really impressive game from
the Baltimore Ravens. I thought they were very solid, and
I guess the question is do you go ahead and
bet them to win the AFC? Do you feel comfortable
in that They faced JJ McCarthy next after an extended

little mini bi if you want to call it that,
with the Thursday, then they faced Dylan Gabriel or whoever
is starting for the Browns. Then it's the Jets, then
it's the Bengals. I think on a Thanksgiving night, which
normally would be a good game. Let's see here, what

day is Thanksgiving? Yes, Thanksgiving Night. The game is Bengals Ravens.
And that's one of those where if Lamar wants to
get back in the MVP mix after missing several games,
he'll need like five touchdowns, which is definitely going to
be in play because the Bengals defense, that holy hell
is abhorrent. And I'm just again, I don't love this team.
I just think it's kind of wide open. I know
everybody loves the Chiefs. Yeah, I'm not there. If the

Chiefs do beat the Bills, I'll be impressed. A lot
of the sharp betters seem to like Kate. I just
don't see how you get bet that. And it did
dip down to one, it was two to two and
a half. I think the values on Buffalo.

I will point to the Spurs who win and cover

against the Miami Heat. When min Yama was spectacular. He
had twenty seven eighteen, six assists, five blocks. I mean, guys,
he's I don't even I'm running out of adjectives to
describe him. They started champagne. Oh my, I didn't even

man remains the man. Miami's not even that good, but
the fact that the Spurs are winning every game covering.
How do you not like this team? I did bet
them to win the NBA Cup. I don't even know
when it is. I'm assuming the Spurs are going to
try some of the teams like like, I don't know

that Okac's going to care that much about the NBA Cup.
But really good odds like plus twenty six hundred or
something like that for the Spurs. Maybe this is five
games in fools gold. I don't know, guys, I know
they beat you know, Raptors are not gonna be good.
Nets are gonna stink. I don't think the Pelicans and
Mats are.

But I'm a believer. They face the Suns this weekend,
and then they have the Lakers on Wednesday, and then
they step it up. Well it's unclear if Luca will
even be back for that, but at Lakers, then it's Rockets. Oh,

against what's his face Zion Chicago. It looks like the Spurs. Yeah,
the Spurs are backloaded with good games in the second
half of the season when it matters. But I'm just
looking at this schedule look, they're gonna be on. It's
gonna be like eighteen and five or something crazy to
start the season. It's just not a daunting lineup to
start to start things. And I just love the cut

of Webben Yama's jip. This guy just plays his butt
off and would you have a guy like Castle defending
on the perimeter. It's just so easy to get excited
about them. I know, I gotta say, okay, see, yes,
they're six and oho. I think they cover the spread
against the Whiz. They were fifteen point favorites and they
won by nineteen. Yeah, easy cover, easy dub for the

best bets the NFL in college football.

buzzed through every game quickly. I think the biggest thing
you need to know is so the Ravens were a
road favorite last night. There are seven road favorites on
Sunday seven. That is a massive number. I just obviously
you also have to keep in mind that favorites rolled
last week. So now you've got teams on the road

that are favored after favorites just roll. This is shaping
up as a bounce back weekend. The dogs should be barking.
That being said, that's the old way to look at things.
The new way is, hey, why don't I just look
at what's going on? And oh, by the way, a
lot of these teams that are dogs, they stink. Okay,
So we'll go through the Chicago Cincinnati. As soon as

I saw Jake Browning could start Joe Flacco fifty to fifty,
I hit Bears minus three. That being said, Joe Flacco
showed up at practice on Thursday with his spraining day
sea joint. He was, according to the practice report, limited
in practice. Folks. Again, after that Falcons Tobacco last week,

I don't know what to believe. The market is saying, Oh,
Flaco's probably gonna go. You know it's there, It's back
down to two and a half. Do I like the
Bears here? No? Of course not. But I don't like
Browning at all. And this is a thing I think
I touched on. So last week we saw teams going
to the by and if you stink and you're going
into the buy, you maybe mail it in. Well, team's

on a bye next week. The Bengals who stink, The
Cowboys who are still in the mix for a wild
card spot, the Titans, we'll get to them. They're terrible,
and then the Chiefs. Obviously they're good in a contender,
so you know you're gonna get effort from the Chiefs
and the Cowboys. Right. What do we make of the Bengals?
They're not very good. And if Jake Browni starts, I'm

just telling you that team was so deflated from Browning
that they traded in the division for Joe Flacco. Okay,
that's kind of sort of crazy. I don't know what
to make of this Bengals team. If Jake Browning starts,
I think you have to hit Chicago pretty hard. Remember,
a lot of people are running on this Bengals team.
The Jets ran all over them last week. They're not

fixing that run defense. Do they Let me see if
Trey Hendricks in practice because you're like, oh, oh, Trey
Henderson should be out there. Oh oh, he's not interesting.
He's supposedly trade bait ahead of the deadline. Now you
know Burrow's gonna be pissed if that happens. But Hendrickson
hasn't practiced this week, so like, what are we supposed
to make of that? No Hendrickson, it looks like they're

gonna be down. Logan Wilson out with a calf. Reisner
is not practicing illness. I mean, if Flacco don't go, Like,
I don't like the Bears, but Caleb should have. This
should be a get right spot Ben Johnson against a
brutal I think the Bears are other side. Now. I
have a long list of teas in the contest because
I don't love anything. The Bears are down the list.

I will consider them, but you gotta wait on the injuries.
Vikings at Lions Detroit's off of by Vikings off the
Thursday night beat down in La JJ McCarthy's back Listen,
this is just it's crazy, guys. I don't know what
to make of this JJ McCarthy stuff. Somebody on the
Herd staff was trying to sell me on this J Mack.

Did you see that the last two weeks JJ McCarthy
was the emergency quarterback for the Vikings. How are you
going to be the emergency quarterback when you know Carson
Wentz has a busted laborhm and they still played Wentz

you know what this smells like? This smells like John Wolford, who,
by the way, the Vikings picked up to the practice
squad a couple of years ago with the Rams where
Golf was hurt. Wolford came in was pretty good. Then
there was the playoff game and they played Wolford because

to wait even though Golf was healthy. And then within
like I don't know, two months or something, Golf was

traded to the Lions. So is this a sign that
they don't love McCarthy. And I don't know what to
make of that, Like, if he's the emergency quarterback and
you have your starter with the torn labram who's going
through it, why wouldn't you just put McCarthy out there.
I don't know what to make of that. So this

is a big number eight and a half nine. My
problem is a divisional matchup. I love the Lions and
a teaser, I think they're gonna be fine. I just
I don't eight and a half or nine. I mean,
don't you think the Vikings can are gonna muster some
kind of courage with Floraes after it? Usually teams that
get their ass kicked as they did by the Chargers

bounce back. I mean, they've had a week to lick
their wounds. I'm looking at the injury report Jeff Akuda
can cost Otherwise the offensive lines starting to look healthy.
How's this Christian Darris South, the left tackle who's very
important to that team. Full practice Wednesday, did not practice Thursday.
I'm telling you, if Darris iw ain't there to block
Aid and Hutchinson, there's no way I can go to

touching the Lions. Panthers, Packers, you think I'm going for

the revenge game. Next week they have the Eagles on deck,
possibly the two best teams in the NFC. Easy for
the Packers to overlook the Carolina Panthers and listen that
to me that you know, that's the kind of thing
I would look at. It is one of the many
data points. Hey man, the Packers could sleep walk through
this game and win. But then you look and you're like, well,
let's see, is Bryce Young playing? Oh, Bryce Young's practicing,

something here. But then you look at the offensive line
and you're like, oh, this offensive line's beat the hell up?
Is there any way they can hold up against Micah
Parsons in company. Now, it is an early game, and
this this is gonna be buried in the deck. Nobody's
gonna be watching this. Packers go out to a seventeen
to nothing lead. They still got a lot of work

to do, being favored by fourteenth and so like, as
if you're a survivor, this is a great pick if
you're in, uh, the contest. You know, I have on
my list Packers thirteen and a half. I like them
a lot. But if Bryce Young plays and it looks
like he's probably gonna be back, you know, do the

Packers are they feeling themselves after a big Sunday night win?
And do they just kind of mail it in here?
Like I don't know what the Panthers offensive line is
going to be, Like, I don't know if Chuwba Hubbard
is gonna lose stamps to Rico Dowdell. Who remember, for
a minute there was super hot. The Panthers just got

their doors blown off by the Buffalo Bills, and the
thought is, well, why wouldn't Green Bay do the same,
And it's because it's the same obvious thing. These teams
don't give max effort when they're facing terrible teams. We
saw the Packers at the start of the season look awesome, incredible,
and they kind of slept walk through a bunch of wins,
including the loss of the Browns, and didn't cover anything.

There's no motivation against bad the dregs of the league.
You get by, you get the win. Who cares? We
don't care about the cover. And I just wonder if
Carolina keeps it close with the run game. You got
a low scoring game but Packers are gonna have to
struggle to get margin. Probably a game time decision for me.

having the stomach to bet Carolina early in the week,
not knowing if price Young is definitely back. I can't
do that. Chargers Titans, this is just feels like a layup,
right and I know everybody, well, you can't trust the
Chargers away from home they lost to Jackson Dart. Guys, guys, guys,
answer me this. Have the Tennessee Titans quit? Their coach
has been fired, not practicing this week. Calvin Ridley their

best offensive weapon, Jeffrey Simmons, their best defensive player and
leader on that team. Woulds the starting safety they have
a buy next week? Are the Titans looking to get
off some of these pieces? Jeffrey Simmons is probably the
number one d DT on the market.

literally a wrecking ball can destroy game plans. You have
to game plan for him in the playoffs. I mean,

could help a contender. So here's the thing. Derwin James
defensively was kind of dinged up. They were like, oh,

he may not go he's practicing in full If Derwin
James goes like, I feel great about that defense because
he's everywhere he's playing great. And I saw this touch
nine and a half late Thursday. Okay, my guess is
this is going to ten as soon as the practice
report comes in. If Jeffy Simmons don't practice on Friday,
didn't practice, all we can't plan and this will probably

be the Chargers just grind out a twenty seven to
nine victory. Vidal in company run for a bunch of
yards and the Chargers nothing sexy. They just advanced. Listen,
Tennessee's not good at all. I mean, I think they've
given up fourteen rushing touchdowns this season. What did Jim
Harball like to do more than anyone? Joe Alt's back,
I mean, Joe Alden so obviously a superstar game changer. Yeah,

I don't see any world where I could bet Tennessee.
Here to me, this is Chargers or pass. And I
know you're like, Jason, where's the dog? Well, where the
dog's at? Can you stomach the Atlanta Falcons. It's it's
it's the it's the sharpest dog on the board. Teams
that get smashed at home as a big favorite, okay,

and then go on the road the next week. That's
where you want that. That's the side you want to
be on, because you know the market's like, oh, nobody's
touching the Falcons this week. They're set in the line
knowing that the Patriots are one of the hottest teams
in the league. Drake May is the MVP. You can
feed off these narratives and know, oh my gosh, every
Joe Public's going to the window with Drake many Yet,

guess what the line is coming down? It was six
and a half, it's now five and a half. So
all of a sudden you've got people saying, hmmm, I
don't know, is Drake London gonna play? Looks like it
is Michael Penny's gonna play. Well, it certainly ain't gonna
be Kirk Cousins. I mean, this number is just obscene.

If the Patriots favored by five and a half over anyone,
I mean they're not. If you look at some of
these numbers, New England is not super high in Dvoa.
I know, like the media loves them. They want the
Patriots to be good again. Drake May is the second
coming of Josh Allen. But this is a good Falcons defense.

They just they were down four starters last week against
Miami and they just know showed. I saw a stat
from ta that the New Engle Patriots are horrible defending
running backs out of the backfield because they have slow
linebackers entered be Jean Robinson, get them the ball in space.
I mean, guys, Atlanta could win this outright. The problem
is Atlanta's as jecky and high as anybody in the

in the league get smashed by Carolina, right, remember that
one thirty nothing. I was on the side of Atlanta
beat the Bills at home. I walloped the Bills. Really
that game was not close. And lose at home to
lowly Miami. I mean, how bad does that lost look
after the Ravens win last night. So I think you,
if you could stomach it, I think this is a

side to go. Remember last week the Patriots were favored
by a touchdown against the Cleveland Browns. Now they were
six and a half five and a half against the Falcons.
Falcons are not as bad as the Browns. Falcons just
beat the Bills. They were a good team. They're going
to probably contend with Tampa for a playoff spot. Again,

Niners don't know what to make of this one. I
like san fran but something's telling me just be careful.

end up passing Colts Steelers. I know you're supposed to
play Mike Tomlin here, I cannot do it. None of
the trends say Mike Tomlin. The actual data for this
season says Colts. So for me, Colts are nothing. Broncos Texans.

the first half and you're like, all right, Baltimore looks okay,

not amazing. I see according to my stats here, they
had four first downs in the first half. It was
a little clunky, you know, it wasn't super sharp. They went,

and then the Dolphins with a fumble and they go
four play seven yards touchdown, right, so you get the lead.
Then they go on a long touchdown drive. But after that,

all right, let's go for the knockout punch. They go
three and out, three and out, three and out halftime,
and I'm like, I don't know. That's just not like
a particularly sharp look. I didn't bet the second half,
but I was like, uh, but Miami's gonna hang around.
Miami did not hang around. Baltimore came out with two
touchdown drives to open the second half. Lamar found his

footing in his first game back, four touchdown passes eighteen
of twenty three. He was pretty sharp. He didn't do
a lot of running. Interestingly, five rushes fourteen yards. Now,
maybe this is just my untrained eye, but A it
didn't look like he wanted to run, and B he
didn't look as fast and elusive. On his longest carry,
he got tripped up, and you know, normally Lamar's like

high stepping and getting out of that and peeling off
fifty yard carries. Interestingly, I didn't see that. But again,
first game back, dip his toe in. I will say this,
the window's basically gone to bet the Ravens to win
the division. At this point, you have to bet them
to win the AFC. That's where the value would be
if you're a believer in this team. They do have
a diverse offense. I don't know, if you guys, how

much of the game you watched. It was kind of boring,
but three touchdown passes to tight ends. Zay Flowers looks
very good. He is shifty as hell. Bateman caught a touchdown.
They've got weapons. They don't have any stars on the outside.
But honestly, if you stack up the skill position players
of the Chiefs and Bills compared to the Ravens, like,

who is the best skill position player? Is Derrick Henry?
Is it Rashie Rice? Is it James Cook? I don't
But the bottom line is there is no real unbelievable
superstar Like I think Rashi Rice might be a one.

touching the Falcons this week. They're set in the line
knowing that the Patriots are one of the hottest teams
in the league. Drake May is the MVP. You can
feed off these narratives and know, oh my gosh, every

from ta that the New Engle Patriots are horrible defending

Falcons are not as bad as the Browns. Falcons just
beat the Bills. They were a good team. They're going

going to be a max effort, but is it really?
They know they're gonna face these guys in the playoffs
and they own them in the playoffs. Meanwhile, Buffalo is
highly motivated after that tough loss in the AFC title game.
My guess is that this is a great game. Whoever
as the ball last wins, and I will give it
to Buffalo. I know that they're not going to really
get stops, but I'll just I think I mentioned this yesterday.

Look at who the Chiefs have beat. Guys, again, we
can get excited about the Detroit win. Okay, yay, what
about the Jacksonville loss on the road. The Detroit win
was at home. They own the road. Lose to Jacksonville.

I don't care about the Washington win. They haven't looked
good on the road away from home, and I know
