Speaker 1 (00:01):
You don't listening to Fox Sports Radio Radio.

Speaker 2 (00:04):
Well, that's right, you heard the man. It is that
time of week. My name is Bernie Friday. We are
come to your line from the Fox Sports Radio studios
here in Las Vegas. We will take you up to
three am Pacific, six am Eastern, and if you know me,
I've got about six hours worth of material tonight. We'll
try to stuff it into four. And we even begin

(00:26):
with a quote from the great Oliver Wendell Holmes, who
once said, man's mind stretched to a new dimension, we'll
never return to its original state.

Speaker 3 (00:36):
Where would we be? What did we do before the
actual college football playoffs?

Speaker 2 (00:42):
And I know it's not perfect, we'll get to it later,
but you can't tell me you weren't all in Friday
night Bama Oklahoma with all the surrounding storylines, and of
course the.

Speaker 3 (00:53):
Triple header today, and we're going to get to that.

Speaker 2 (00:55):
And I get it, only one of the three games
was competitive, but regard it's so much better than it
used to be and hopefully they'll continue to make it better.
And yeah, I'm going to get to an update on
the Michigan football coaching search. It gets whackedier by the minute.
Don't be surprised if its bills past the new year.
I'll have details on that later. And what's going on?

(01:18):
And oh yeah, the weekend kind of actually started Thursday.

Speaker 3 (01:21):
Where would we be without Thursday Night football? You know what,
you love it? You can't with it out?

Speaker 2 (01:25):
Sorry. And if you could ever script a perfect game
to watch in the regular season, well, it would have
to end with.

Speaker 3 (01:33):
A walkoff in overtime.

Speaker 2 (01:35):
Of course, a spectacular game winning catch after a fourth
quarter comeback, which seemed impossible. The number one seed should
be on the line. The stadium's got to be louder
than the Rolling Stones concert. It should be high scoring,
but not too high, something like thirty eight to thirty seven.
You want both quarterbacks balled out, a few long runs,
some turnovers, craziness on special teams, and how about even

(01:59):
at a play like a backwards pass that no one
can explain. Now I'm talking about Thursday Nights game. I
don't care what's perfect for the fans. It was a
battle NFC's top seed, the Seahawks. Oh yeah, they had
one hundred and seventy two games in franchise history where
they actually trailed by sixty or more points in the

(02:21):
fourth quarter, and they were oh and one hundred and
seventy two and still Thursday. Until Thursday they staged an
incredible comeback for the Ages. They're now twelve and three
in control of the NFC. The Rams have now fallen
a fifth in the conference at eleven and four. Yeah,
Matt Stafford through for four hundred and fifty seven yards
and three touchdowns, but he was also three straight four

(02:44):
and outs of the fourth quarter when he could have
sealed it. I know my peep's in Detroit. We love you, Matt,
but we'll always remember Puka Nakua. Incredible Sam Darnald. God
blessed Sam Darnell as they saved life. It's not what
happens to you, it's how you react. He shook off
interceptions in sacks. He wasn't seeing ghosts. He completes the rally.

(03:04):
Give the man his due. I know by the way
Rashid Shahi changed the game, turned it down. It's here
he caused probably Chase Blackburn, the special teams coach for
the Rams, to lose his job. He checked the box
an incredible, incredible punt return and then the most improbable
two point conversion in NFL history. Okay, I would just

(03:26):
say this. I'm not going to bother to explain that
you saw it. Okay, On that conversion, Zach Charbone, Michigan
product running back, picked up what he thought was a
dead ball standing there inside the end zone. Little did
he know it was a game tying two point conversion.
They're call to get the Zach wordz pass tied the
game at thirty and after Seattle was gifted those two points.

Speaker 3 (03:49):
Remember, people are pissed, but.

Speaker 2 (03:52):
It wouldn't matter unless they made the most of it
in the remainder of the game. As they say, it's
one thing to be in the right place at the
right time, it's another thing to do something about it.

Speaker 3 (04:02):
Kind of like the Miami Hurricanes.

Speaker 2 (04:04):
You know, notre Dan gave up forty points to Texas
A and m Miami gave up three. That is kind
of like an NFL team looks physically and man where
they buttoned up.

Speaker 3 (04:19):
And look at Michael Irvin.

Speaker 2 (04:20):
If you could we could just get him to come
out of a shell, it life would be so much
more fun. Lincoln Riley take notes. You know why they're
winning at Miami. They beginning, they're beginning to own re
own as they did in the past the.

Speaker 3 (04:35):
South Florida region in high school recruiting.

Speaker 2 (04:37):
It's been one of the main catalysts behind the success
of Quote the You since going back to the eighties.
Mario Cristobald has done just thats is taking over his
alma mater, and the fruits of his efforts have showed
them a big way. Miami got their first college football
playoff win Saturday, ten to three over Texas A and

(04:59):
M sleet team effort.

Speaker 3 (05:01):
But there are three.

Speaker 2 (05:02):
Kids who were all local recruits who stood out as
central figures who big time to live it in the
clutch again. Lincoln Riley take notes, don't let these Southern
California kids get out of Southern California. The first comes
with no surprise, a young wide receiver Malakai Tony. He'd
been Miami's most dangerous offensive player and he's a true

(05:22):
freshman coming from the famed American Heritage High School. For
a brief moment, though, Tony was on the other side
of well, let's put it this way. At the back
of the day, a gold would mean he did something bad.
But following crucial fumble that Tony had which gave the
Egges the ball near midfield in a three to three game. However,

(05:45):
Miami played complimentary football. Texas A and M's offense couldn't
do anything, something that was the case the whole day,
and just a few moments later, the eighteen year old redeemed.

Speaker 3 (05:54):
Himself with the go ahead touchdown.

Speaker 2 (05:57):
Now he also had running back Mark Fletcher Junior to
thank for the chance at redemption. A federal high school player,
yes he's not a freshman three years a senior, but
a local recruit. He ran all over Texas A and
M one hundred and seventy two yards, but he had
a clutch moment for the ages a fifty six yard
TD run or checked out a fifty six yard run

(06:18):
while the Canes were buried at the rowing fourteen that
set up.

Speaker 3 (06:21):
Tony for his eventual game winning touchdown.

Speaker 2 (06:23):
Then one final stop by Miami's defense, the big pick
in the end zone freshman dB Brian Fitzgerald, who went
to the same high school as his coach in South Miami,
Mario Cristobal. He did the honors, picking off Marcel Reid
for the second time a game ceiling interception, adding three
sacks and four tackles from a god by the name

(06:45):
of Reuben Bain, also from Miami.

Speaker 3 (06:49):
Yeah, qued up.

Speaker 2 (06:50):
The three to zero five is alive and well they're
a nine and a half point underdog against Ohio State
coming up on New Year's But don't tell them they
don't have a chance. Yes, old miss, did you notice
they were wearing dark blue uniforms? I was told that
was Lane Kiffin's least favorite color. They're pissed at Kiffin. Now,
can they beat Georgia? Georgia?

Speaker 3 (07:12):
I don't know, man, but they look pretty good in Oxford.

Speaker 2 (07:14):
The peat Golden Era began with a three place seventy
five yard drive and it was just a track meet
from that point. Forty one to ten blowout looked almost
identical to the You know their forty five to ten
went over to Lane back in September, And we're gonna
get to that a little bit later, maybe in the
midnight hour, I don't know. Nick Saban made a statement
the other day on TV that really started to ring
true with me. Listen, Lane Kiffin probably is still smiling

(07:40):
a little less ob because, believe it or not, LSU
is paying him any contract bonuses he would have received.
That means Saturday's playoff win made Lane Kiffin an extra.

Speaker 3 (07:51):
Quarter of a man dollars And how is your day?

Speaker 2 (07:54):
Next up a rematch with Georgia and the Sugar Bowl.
I don't know if Cinderella is being invited to the
ball is going to be a good idea in the future.
And nobody fought more for it, harder than I did.
But the truth of the matter is, and I tell
you what, James Madison is a good looking team, a
really good looking team.

Speaker 3 (08:13):
They ball out.

Speaker 2 (08:15):
But man, when you step up in four way classes,
it's just we don't know if this college football playoff
will ever produce a stunning result like Maryland Baltimore County
over Tony Bennett's Virginia Cavaliers sixtyed and one. But if
you watch long enough, by the way, and I covered
September one, two thousand and seven, Appalachian State beat Michigan.

(08:36):
I remember Boise State beat in Oklahoma, or even just
last year, Notre Dame lost at home in Northern Illinois. However,
none of those games came during a winner go home
playoff or a national title. When you get extra time
to prepare, you're going to get the full attention of
the Giants.

Speaker 3 (08:52):
They know what they're doing.

Speaker 2 (08:53):
Dan Lanning can coach, and it's brutal to play at
Oregon in one hundred and ten decibels. So those are
some quick takeaways from today's college football playoffs. And like
I said, man, what did we do before this? You
can't tell me this isn't frankly wonderful. It's like pizza,
even if frozen pizza tastes good, especially if you've been

(09:15):
hooked up to a blender all day. Yeah, it's not
as good as say New York Pizza, or Chicago Pizza,
Detroit Pizza, or some of the great places we have
here in Las Vegas.

Speaker 3 (09:24):
But the worst pizza ever had was damn good.

Speaker 2 (09:26):
So I'm all in for playoff football and frankly, I
can't wait till the year's even and January first. By
the way, speaking of college football, welcome to the College
Football Challenge. Feenie GoF to success of our college basketball

went down almost out of the field we had him on,
broke it down, what Commotionial Cortus was said Hamler would
be back.

Speaker 3 (12:23):
He was after.

Speaker 2 (12:25):
Aaron Rodgers went down with his achilles, described the link
of the injury. The rehab said he'd be back fine,
and he has been. And of course too with all
those concussions. When people are begging me to retire, doctor
Doug said he would be fine. Say hello to our
guy out a Brea, California, doctor Doug Anderson, and my
good friend in high school teammate Dougo.

Speaker 3 (12:45):
So glad you count join us again tonight.

Speaker 7 (12:47):
Hey Bernie, how's it going good?

Speaker 2 (12:49):
And before we go any further, let's give a shout
out to our high school football teammate Jerry Sanders, who's
listening tonight, who now resides in Vegas. Also, that would
be doctor Jerry Shand, by the way, that's right, that's right.

Speaker 3 (13:02):
He's he's a high fluting guy UNLV.

Speaker 2 (13:04):
He's worked at a lot of prestigious universities around the country.

Speaker 3 (13:07):
Thanks for correcting me. All right, let's get to the
Mississi hand.

Speaker 2 (13:11):
I'm sure Green Bay could have used Michael Parsons efforts
Saturday night. We'll never know would have happened had he
been on the field. But here's the question I want
to ask you. We know we had a tour in
a cl but as you saw him chasing Bonis around
the field, what did you what did your guys tell
you about what happened to what happened to Michael Parsons

(13:32):
and how he tours ACL?

Speaker 7 (13:33):
Go ahead, dub Well, I didn't see anything major like
I did with Mahomes, right, And you know this year
is about half of the ACL injuries in the NFL
and non contact, although historically it's about seventy percent, So
most of the time they are non contact, but it's
you know that sudden stopping, starting, cutting, you know, landing, twisting, pivoting,

(13:56):
that's that's what gets it is. The most common positions
did to have this injury are the receivers, both the
tight ends and the wide out, so it is a
little bit more common than the linebackers. And as far
as coming back goes, the lineman and the linebackers usually
have a little bit harder time, uh than some of
the other than some of the other positions. But both

(14:16):
these guys are going to come back because the good
guys come back. You know, the higher the draft, the
higher draft choices come back soon because they're better to
begin with it. You know, when average player does this injury,
if he loses a step, he's going.

Speaker 8 (14:29):
To lose his job.

Speaker 9 (14:30):
But you know what, if Mahome.

Speaker 7 (14:31):
Loves the step, he's still four steps better than most
of the other quarterbacks out there. He's going to be fine.
But you know, history shows us that some of these
guys come back even better. And part of the reason
is that when they when they put that draft in there,
sometimes the knee is actually even stronger than it was
before the injury.

Speaker 2 (14:49):
So what I wanted to ask you, I saw a Parsons,
Michael Parsons chasing uh bow makes the entire game, and
I'm starting to wonder if perhaps to he set in
because his was a non cock contact injury. Am I
just am I just imagining something that wasn't there?

Speaker 7 (15:08):
No, I mean, hey, fatiguet is defter me an issue.
There's no no doubt about it. You know, with the
with the heavier schedules and things like that you know,
we know historically that most of these things are happening.
You know, the most common time for these things to happen,
you know, it's early in the season when people when
they're still ramping up and they're not in full strength yet.
But you know, historically when you look at some of

(15:29):
the you know, some of these things, you know, especially
some of the good players, you realize, wait a minute,
it seems like at the end of the year, when
people are tired, we see we know these things, we
see more of them as well. Right, we had these
two this year. Of course there was the famous Adrian Peterson,
you know he did his on Christmas.

Speaker 2 (15:45):
Eve, Doug before we get to Mahomes because they were
two different injuries.

Speaker 3 (15:51):
Uh, the diagnosis on micah.

Speaker 2 (15:54):
Was it was called a clean a CEO tear. That's
considered the best case scenario. Describe from a doctor perspective,
what a clean ACL terry is.

Speaker 7 (16:03):
That means only the ACL and nothing else. And again,
when it comes to contact versus non contact, the non
contact injuries tend to be tend to have more often
do they have the clean care and that's it. The
contact injuries often have other structures involved. You know, like
Brady had his MCL and his ACL at the same time,

(16:24):
and of course Mahomes has has his LCL the lateral
the outside ligament and his ACL at the same time.

Speaker 2 (16:32):
And of course we are now hearing that they're going
to delay Mike's surgery for a couple of reasons. They
want to allow for preoperative strengthening. And I guess he's
waiting the birth of a child. But talk ever so
quickly about preoperative strengthening. Does that help the surgery recovering?
What is the idea ideology behind that.

Speaker 7 (16:53):
The stronger you are, the better the prognosis. And you know,
first of all, they like to wait until the slowing
goes down to so know how slow he still is.
But you know there's a delay there now, you know.
But on the other guy we're talking about tonight, on Mahomes,
they went right in there because of the lf L.
The LFL wasn't a clean care it was an evulsion,

(17:14):
So basically the ligament didn't fail. The ligament was pulled
off the bone. It's kind of like imagining pulling a
weed with just the roots versus pulling a weed and
you get a dirt plod. Well, that dirt clod. That's
what happened with Mahomes. So in that case, they wanted
to go in there faster to get that ligament and
the bone you know, back together.

Speaker 8 (17:32):
So that's what they didn't hear.

Speaker 2 (17:34):
So, okay, I'm glad you're making the comparison.

Speaker 3 (17:37):
It's my understanding.

Speaker 2 (17:38):
Maholmes has already had his surgery, he had about five
days ago, and they're talking about go ahead, Doug.

Speaker 8 (17:45):
Yeah, he's already had a surgery, yep.

Speaker 2 (17:46):
And you mentioned an LCL evulsion and that requires getting
to it quicker than a typical isolated a clchair.

Speaker 3 (17:55):
Why is that.

Speaker 7 (17:57):
Because they want to be to be successful. You want
that bone reattached as soon as possible. Remember that the
end of his lateral collateral ligament had pulled off a
chunk of a stibula, so we want to get that
thing going asap.

Speaker 8 (18:11):
And you know, these some of the.

Speaker 7 (18:13):
Re surgeons of these guys, they're so good. Even though yes,
there was probably more swelling you know for the ACL
repair than he would have liked. You know, he can
you know, the guy down in Dallas, he's he's so good.

Speaker 10 (18:24):
He can work.

Speaker 7 (18:25):
Around that no problem. And apparently from what I heard.
The surgery came.

Speaker 8 (18:28):
Out really good.

Speaker 2 (18:30):
So and we're talking with doctor Doug Anderson out of Brea.
Doug regarding mahomes return to the field. Now I'm told
his recovery. I mean there they say they're optimistic. The
twenty twenty six NFL season kicks off September tenth. They
say they're optimistic he's back for opening day. But I'm
told by other people this could be up to a

(18:51):
twelve month recovery. What do you weigh in on this,
because you're three for three on your other predictions, Well.

Speaker 7 (18:58):
You know, three or four isn't bad. I'm hope I'm
going to go forth before I think my home is
going to be back by day one. You look, this
guy is hyper competitive, right, you know, He's like, well,
Tom Brady did it, he came back, Right, He's looking
at the list of guys Joe Burrow did it he
came back.

Speaker 8 (19:12):
Not only do I.

Speaker 7 (19:13):
Want to come back, but I want to as well
as I'm coming back, I probably want to win the
Comeback Player of the Year award as well. I mean,
you know that's what he's shooting for. So he's going
he's you know, going crazy on the rehab. And remember,
you know when normal people do this, you know, it's
it's different than when when these guys do it, because
you know, a normal person still has to work, right,
you know. I mean, if you have a disk job,

(19:34):
you've got to go back to work in a couple
of weeks. You know, if you're if you have a
more it's feel like it's have the job while you're
on your feet standing, walking, climbing and stuff. You're still
going to go back six to eight weeks later.

Speaker 10 (19:45):
These guys, they have a full time job.

Speaker 7 (19:47):
All they're going to do is rehab every single day,
whereas the average person might get in there three days
a week.

Speaker 2 (19:54):
So, Doug, there are certain biological aspects to someone's healing
and recover. Mahomes is actually north of twenty five years old.
I understand twenty five and under they fat. You know,
they experienced the faster soft tissue healing and they get
to shrink back faster. But at age twenty nine, how
much of a difference is twenty nine versus twenty five

(20:16):
from a doctor's perspective.

Speaker 7 (20:18):
I will take a whole lot. And yes, the younger,
the younger they are, the better the prognosis. But again,
you know, I think MICUs, what twenty six, So we're
talking at twenty six to the twenty nine year old.

Speaker 8 (20:29):
I'd be surprised.

Speaker 7 (20:29):
That, you know, they're both going to be back on
opening day unless something happens during rehab, right, I mean,
you know, these guys get great surgeons, so if the
thing's going to fail, it's going to be did the surgery,
did the surgeon himself mess up, did he pick the
wrong kind of surgery, or did they screw up during rehab?

Speaker 8 (20:46):
You know, and I doubt.

Speaker 7 (20:48):
I mean, these guys are getting they're going to be
supervised every single day. To you, they're not going to
be doing a lot of home stuff. They're going to
go in there and they're there all day long, supervised
by experts who've done this over and over. Because we
do worry about guys like this, we call them compulsion
cod flyers, where if you get mahomes that say, hey, Patrick,
gohme and do you know do three reps in the season?
Well do you instead of three reps, A'll do thirty

(21:08):
reps and.

Speaker 9 (21:08):
Get better even faster.

Speaker 7 (21:10):
No, that's not necessarily the way to do it, but
he's not going to be doing anything without supervision.

Speaker 2 (21:16):
So you mentioned surgical type to the best year knowledge,
you probably know this because because I certainly don't. In
mahomes case, did the use an autograph which means they
use the doone tissue from his own body, or did
he use an allograph from some donor tissue.

Speaker 3 (21:30):
Do you have any idea what they did for Mahomes?

Speaker 9 (21:35):
I don't.

Speaker 7 (21:36):
They didn't release it, but I would. I would be
very surprised if both these guys didn't use the autograph, okay,
which is from their own tissue. Now there's a couple
of choices because you know use this historically it's to patella,
but sometimes some people are doing the hamstring, and now
they're starting to do the quad too. And and by
the way, when you do that, that is a second
thing that has to recover, as opposed to the allograph. Right,

(21:59):
but on the fot side, this is your own tissues
and it's not going to be rejected. And again, these
guys are young, and they're they're already have their blessed
with genetics, and they have the you know, the finus
rehab that there is, so I'd be really surprised that
they both didn't do autograph.

Speaker 2 (22:15):
Well, it's my understanding, the allographed procedure, they have a
slightly faster initial recovery, but you have a higher risk
of RETAAR when you're dealing with high intensity athletes like
these guys. Are Is that true?

Speaker 7 (22:27):
Yeah, I mean, yes, it is. It's a little bit faster,
you know, coming back because look at because the autograph,
you go, there's a second injury you've got to recover from, right,
I mean, if they take a piece of your tele attendant,
you know, and move it somewhere else, that hurts, and
that's now damaged. So you've got to rehab that as well.
But again in this case, these guys, now you know

(22:49):
they're going to be fine. And you know, of course
with NFL history, we know that there's you know, there's
the NFL history shows us that those guys, you know,
for example, both John Elway and Namath, they never played
a single NFL game with two a cls.

Speaker 11 (23:05):
Neither one of them.

Speaker 8 (23:06):
Right, No, that's.

Speaker 7 (23:08):
He tore his in high school and I think and
name of tore his in college. And that was back
when it's like you know what lotands at surgery then
was career ending instead of season ending, so they never
had him. And uh, you know I mentioned that the
guys that have that hurt themselves most commonly for this
injury would be the receivers. And you know there's a
couple of famous receivers if you remember remembered back you know,

(23:28):
Michael Irvin and Tim Brown, Right, they both tore theirs
in their second season and both these guys ended up
in the Hall of Fame, and neither one of them
had the surgery. They both read been played and you
know the rest of their careers without an a cl
So I'm.

Speaker 2 (23:45):
Glad you brought up Joe Namas because it's a fairy story.
He tore his aco in nineteen sixty five, right before
the draft. Jet's drafted him and it was one of
his last games at Alabama, and namely said the doctor
was an a stall adjusting his knee because back then
you could look inside. You didn't have magnetic resonance imaging

(24:07):
like we have now.

Speaker 8 (24:07):
Right, do what the X ray?

Speaker 12 (24:09):
Ye?

Speaker 3 (24:09):
What would you have? Yeah?

Speaker 2 (24:10):
Well, in the X rays?

Speaker 3 (24:12):
What does an X ray tell you about a soft
tissue injury?

Speaker 2 (24:14):
Not much, does it.

Speaker 7 (24:16):
You're gonna see nothing but a bunch of but you're
gonna see that there's a massive inflammation there. So what
what you know, what they did with name Us, if
they do, will be called a drawer test or the
walk moves maneuver, where they basically they positioned him in
a way where they can see how how strong the
ligament is. So what they're gonna do is they're gonna
go pivot and shift one need to pull, and then

(24:38):
they're going to do the other side. And again they
called the drawer test because if you have it, if
you have a tear, or even a partial tear, it's
gonna RELAXI you're gonna be able to go roll that
moves way too much concured to the other side.

Speaker 2 (24:50):
Yeah, that's exactly what Nam has said. They did, and
the doctor goes, we're gonna have to go in and
fix this, and name It goes win and they go tomorrow.

Speaker 3 (24:57):
They the next.

Speaker 2 (24:58):
Morning, and you know, again they're kind of working blind.
And when they got done with the surgery, he had
he looked wrapped up like a mummy and he said, Joe,
we think you can play four more years. The names
was ecstatic because he thought his career might be over. Well,
of course he played twelve more years, but he was
never even close to being the same. So that leads
me to my final question with Mahomes and Michael Parsons.

(25:22):
When they both rejourned to the field, do you expect
to see any hitching their getty up as they you know,
you know, pat up again and go back to playing
NFL football.

Speaker 7 (25:33):
I don't think so. I think that I think they're
both going to be fine again. You know, the quarterbacks,
you know, seem to do the best on this thing,
even though you know, even though there was two you know,
he had the L C L and and the A
C L. I think he's going to be fine. And
I also think that the Parsons are going to be fine.
And you know that who's the guy from the who
the forty nine ers, right he heard what's his name,

(25:54):
Nick Bose? I believe he toore his back and you
know the first year he came back, think he led
the league and tackles for loss in the second. In
the second year he was a defensive.

Speaker 10 (26:05):
Player of the Year.

Speaker 3 (26:07):
Doug outstanding stuff.

Speaker 2 (26:08):
As always, we get a free education every time you
come on. Tell the folks where they can find you in.

Speaker 7 (26:13):
Brea I'm in Ondreil Highway and Break, California.

Speaker 8 (26:17):
You can google it up or look it up you
get all.

Speaker 2 (26:20):
Keep up the great work, Doug. We'll talk soon and
we'll certainly be having you.

Speaker 7 (26:24):
I would just like to take a moment and wish
a happy and safe holidays to the entire frat Do nation.

Speaker 3 (26:30):
Doug is always appreciated man.

Speaker 2 (26:32):
Thanks so much for all your knowledge, and again you
were three for three. I believe you'll go five for
five in these predictions and we'll have you on again
before too long.

Speaker 7 (26:40):
Take care, Bernie, have a good show.

Speaker 2 (26:42):
Thanks about doctor Doug Anderson high level, Well, he's wear's
a lot of hats. It's a chiropractor as a doctor,
works for Olympic athletes, all kinds of stuff. It's on
our high school football team. Great guy and a true brainiac.

twenty five minutes away from the midnight hour. Now, the
midnight hour means this for more. I sit here in

(27:28):
Las Vegas, Nevada. It will be twelve midnight. Literally, the
clock will strike twelve midnight. Perhaps the same for you,
but literally figuratively. Excuse me, it's the midnight hour for
all of us, which means you get the last word.
We get calls from all around the world. I mean
that Japan, London, Ireland, everywhere, even Detroit. Well I'm just kidding.

(27:48):
Detroit's not a foreign country, but some people think it is.
It's my hometown sort of. Hi, Bernie Frattle, we are
coming to a line from the Las Vegas Fox Sports Radio Studios.
You are coming up to set up the topics for
the midnight hour. So keep it locked. You're listening to
the Bernie Fradle Show on Fox Sports Radio.

Speaker 1 (28:08):
You don't listening to Fox Sports Radio Radio.

Speaker 2 (28:12):
All right, we are back on the Bernie Fraddle Show
Fox Sports Radio, coming live from the Las Vegas Fox
Sports Radio Studios. We are just seventeen minutes away from
the midnight hour. See the clock strikes midnight literally here
in Las Vegas, perhaps where you live as well, but
figuravely it strikes midnight for all of us because you
get the last word.

Speaker 3 (28:33):
That's the idea behind the midnight hour.

Speaker 2 (28:35):
In just a second, I'll set up the topics, but
first I want to remind you folks for the best
pregame show every week, and be sure to tune into
Fox Sports Radios Countdown to Kickoff, presented by BETMGM every
Saturday and Sunday morning. We will count you down to
all the biggest games for three hours right up until kickoff.

(28:57):
by BETMGM every Saturday and Sunday morning right here on
Fox Sports Radio and the.

Speaker 3 (29:01):
iHeart Radio app.

Speaker 2 (29:05):
All right, I want to begin with the topic partially
that we just finished up with my guy, doctor Doug Anderson.
I want to talk about Patrick Mahomes Forever people are
comparing him to Tom Brady.

Speaker 3 (29:21):
Nick Wright, as Patrick.

Speaker 2 (29:23):
Mahomes w went to win his third Super Bowl and
Brady won seven, said, well, if he wins this one,
he sees basically caught Brady.

Speaker 3 (29:29):
Yeah, right, Brady.

Speaker 2 (29:30):
Now Mahomes has won three give him, give him credit,
give him credit. But here's my question.

Speaker 3 (29:37):
He tore his ACL. He's thirty years old.

Speaker 2 (29:39):
Tom Brady tore his ACL opening day of two thousand
and eight at age thirty one, came back to win
three super Bowls. With the four Super Bowls by the way,
he didn't get back to the Super Bowl until twenty sixteen,
so it was seven years. But then they went bananas,
and at that time he was he was thirty nine.

(30:02):
So my question that I want for the peeps and
you folks do a great job on this eight seven,
seven nine, nine, six six three sixty nine, eight seven,
seven ninety nine on Fox. I want to hear from you.
Will Patrick Mahomes ever win another Super Bowl? Now, you
may not want to hear my answer, so I won't
tell it to you. Yes I will. I don't think

(30:22):
he is.

Speaker 3 (30:23):
I don't think the Chiefs are going to rebuild in
this day and.

Speaker 2 (30:26):
Age the way that the odd combination between Brady and
Belichick and Scott Pioli did back.

Speaker 13 (30:33):
In the day.

Speaker 2 (30:33):
And the truth of the matter is everything's just different now.
Expect Brady was one of like the last of the Mohicans.
It's an opinion. Could I be proven wrong.

Speaker 3 (30:43):
We'll see.

Speaker 2 (30:44):
We'll see if I'm wrong or not. But I think
Mahomes will come back strong. But the Chiefs are a
long way from a rebuild. And the Patriots, you know,
the year Brady went down, they won eleven games and
he make the playoffs. I know they were he they
won seventeen years before that. The follow year they came
back there ten and six. We're back right back to
the playoffs. The Chiefs feel like they're further away. I

(31:04):
can be proven wrong, but I want your opinion eight seven, seven,
nine to nine on Fox eight seven, seven, nine, nine
six six Street sixty nine. Will Patrick Mahomes ever win
another Super Bowl again? Towards ACL he's thirty, Tom Brady
toward his ACL at thirty one.

Speaker 3 (31:22):
You know what we're going with that, all right?

Speaker 2 (31:25):
I was riving about how much I liked the playoffs
in college football, but Nick Saban said something on TV
a couple of days ago that caused me to really
turn my head.

Speaker 3 (31:37):
He doesn't like group of five teams getting in.

Speaker 2 (31:40):
He basically said, look, I don't follow baseball like you guys,
but does the International League champion and TRIPAA get to
play for the World Series. He went on to talk
about there just simply different levels. Okay, there's a competitive imbalance.
Group of five teams don't have the resources the revenue
recruiting of Power four teams, which makes it very difficult

(32:02):
for them to make any kind of playoff run, much
less win a playoff game. And if you'll notice, and
I thought James Madison was an excellent football team and
Tulane there are no slots either. They lounce by a
combined score of ninety two to forty four. And it
was not that close.

Speaker 3 (32:22):
It was not that close.

Speaker 2 (32:25):
The eye test. There's an eye test discrepancy here because
even these G five teams with good records, they just
don't stack up based on drink, the schedule, opponents quality,
all that, And the main thing you got to remember,
there's a huge financial disparity. There's a vast revenue gap
that makes it very hard for a group of five
schools to compete long term. Now there are calls for

(32:48):
perhaps separate G five championships or playoffs. On the other hand,
I don't know in the current format. Until you do
something like that, you know We talked about this a
few years ago when Cincinnati went twelve to zero. In
what sport around the world do you wake up at
the beginning of the season knowing you can go undefeated.
You can't compete for a championship just because it's capricious

(33:11):
and arbitrary. But now these teams are in and it's
really not competitive. And you can argue, well, lots of
times the playoffs aren't competitive. Look, Ohio State, they want
four good teams last year by total of sixty points.
But there is a fairness opportunity issue that I can't.

Speaker 3 (33:27):
Get out of my mind.

Speaker 2 (33:28):
If you're an undefeated or you're a strong G five
conference champion, you deserve a shot at the national title. Okay,
it's not working out so far, And I don't know
if we deserve two G five teams and not. No,
they might have something to say about that. Maybe they'll
eaven block Ivan Mazel from entering the state. They're on
a roll. But there's an excitement too that G five
teams bring unique stories, they challenge a fight. It makes

(33:52):
the playoff a little bit more diverse, little bit more interesting.
I enjoyed watching James Madison play I enjoyed that running
back way Night and the quarter back and just Way.
I like the way they fought and Tulane Toulanne's a
good looking team. You think you just stroll into Mississippi
and hang with I mean, it's just it's an unfair fight.
There's a weight class in every physical sport, and it

(34:13):
seems like this violates the right class. So I'm torn.
But there is growing concern that we're leaving teams out
that deserve it more than G five teams do.

Speaker 3 (34:26):
So I don't know what to do. So I want
your thoughts.

Speaker 2 (34:30):
Have we reached the end of the road when it
comes to really allowing G five teams in because of
what happened this year and what happened last year, frankly,
what's happened in past years. Two Cincinnati got in the
group before one year. Fair enough, Okay, you know where
I'm I'm going with that.

Speaker 3 (34:47):
The third thing is.

Speaker 2 (34:50):
I have two quick ones you can weigh in on
real quickly, either one or the other, or both or
neither one.

Speaker 3 (34:56):
I don't care, but these aren't news items.

Speaker 14 (34:58):
Now.

Speaker 2 (34:59):
The NBA Cup was pretty good actually, but most people
didn't care, and that shows by.

Speaker 3 (35:06):
A poll, I guess she comes with sick of poles That.

Speaker 2 (35:11):
A national magazine did got eighteen thousand results. Seventy nine
percent either don't care at all or would only care
if their team was in it. However, seventeen percent said
this is better what we had before. Okay, So do
you even care about the NBA Cup That the Lakers
hung a banner? The next it was so funny. The
next a come out, We're not hanging a banner. It's

(35:33):
like the scene in Blazing Saddles where the guy says badges.
We don't need those stinking badges. So does anybody care?
You know if an NBA Cup three fell in the forest,
do you care? And finally, I can't ignore this one.
You can if you want to. I don't care. God,
please make this happen. I might let an extra candle

(35:53):
in church. I want to see what happens if this happens.
The WNBA players actually authorized to strike in a near
unanimous vote. Ninety eight percent of the players voted in
the WNBPA, that's the players Association executive They approved the

(36:14):
Executive Committee to initiate a strike if necessary, and their
collective bargaining agreement it well expired. I took October thirty first,
and they extended it to November thirtieth, and obviously we're
well past that.

Speaker 3 (36:30):
Now it's extended to January ninth.

Speaker 2 (36:33):
Okay, and now there's all of a sudden, been a
slew of public comments from the players on the state
of the negotiations. It's been a little disheartening. One player said,
her name is Caitlin Clark. Kelsey Plumbs weighed in. Under
the league's latest proposal, the average player salary would be
five hundred and thirty thousand and the minimum would be

(36:56):
more than two hundred and fifty thou In year one,
he only played four games, and the model could increase
the max players salary to a million three And the
players are like, let it be known. We're united, we're resolute,
We're prepared to fight for our value in their future.
And some of them are asking for things like, you know,
childcare and pensions or whatever. I don't know, if you're

(37:19):
making five hundred and thirty grand that might buy some childcare,
wouldn't it. Or a millionaire Okay, so you know I'm
going with that. So as always, the callers are terrific.
You don't have to get tall four. But these are
news items. I've always had a ruling radio. If you
have a topic, why are we talking about this today?
With all due respect to my brother, and sometimes people

(37:42):
get on and drivel about garbage. It's like people don't
care about your video game. I'm sorry, they just don't.
That's what people are telling me. So these topics are
all relevant. Why are we talking about mahomes? Well, you
know why the Chiefs aren't going to the playoffs for
the first time at ten years. He towards ACL Will
he ever come back and win a Super Bowl? From you?

Speaker 3 (38:01):
Number two?

Speaker 2 (38:01):
The college football playoffs are underway. They're tremendous, But I
don't know, man. There's based on Nick Saban's comments about
would they allow the Tria, a team from the International
League to play for.

Speaker 3 (38:13):
The World Series.

Speaker 2 (38:15):
He draws a juxtap you know, he draws a parallel
between the group of five teams getting in.

Speaker 3 (38:20):
Then he got the NBA Cup, which the NBA brass like.

Speaker 2 (38:24):
I'm not saying it didn't do well, but seventy nine
percent of the people don't seem to care of that much.
And the Lakers, they hung a banner two years ago,
but the next year. We're not going to hang a banner. Badges.

Speaker 3 (38:37):
We don't even know stinking badges.

Speaker 2 (38:39):
And then it was just announced this week that the
WNBA and their players union are authorizing a strike and
a unanimous vote. This is a league that's lost a
billion dollars in thirty years. I understand this new group.
There's hope on the horizon, but maybe show a profit
for a couple of years before you start beating your chest?

Speaker 3 (38:58):
Am I all wrong about?

Speaker 2 (39:01):
Eight seven seven nine nine six six three six' nine
eight seven seven nine and on On? Fox dial them.
UP i want to hear from. You it's the callers
that make this great. Pack, mahomes will you ever win
Another Super? Bowl you tore his acl the college football?
Playoffs do we rethink this about group of? Five given

(39:22):
the blowouts THE Nba? Cup did you? Care do you?
Laugh because The knicks what they said about hanging a?
Banner and then of course THE. Wnba DARE i say
they're talking about striking and beating their? Chest eight seven

acl thirty years. Old everyone in The Super Bowl Brady

(40:10):
tour hit is at thirty, one won three?

Speaker 3 (40:12):
More all?

Speaker 2 (40:12):
Right the college football? PLAYOFFS i love. Him do we
need to rethink What Nick saban said about the group
of five teams and not being? Competitive do we make?
Changes how about THE Nba? Cup do you? Care seventy
nine percent appear not to and the next you're not
even gonna hang a, banner that, is we don't need
no stinking. Badges, finally THE, wnba please, Strike please Strike january.

(40:35):
Ninth i'd love to see what. Happens it's that, time,
Folks it's the mid that. Hour all, right we open
up from The Emerald. City let's welcome In glenn From, Seattle.
Glenn welcome into The Bernie Frattle.

Speaker 13 (40:46):
Show, hey first time, caller longtime, Listener. Welcome first of,
ALL i got to miss The Seattle. Seahawks, man that
was a great. GAME i have to ADMIT i am
a Diehard seattle. Fan but when he threw the, INTERCEPTION
i almost gave, Up, MAN i almost gave.

Speaker 2 (41:04):
Up but, well The rams were laughing on the, sideline
and who had the last?

Speaker 3 (41:08):
Laugh so who can blame you?

Speaker 13 (41:10):
THERE i, mean, yeah, Yeah AND i will say this
About Sam. Darnold people keep saying that he needs to prove,
this prove. That, well what he proved to me was
that he can forget things and then move on and
make things. Happen you don't have a lot of quarterbacks
that can do what he did in that. Game so
two interceptions look really, bad come back and win the

(41:30):
game the way he. Did so he definitely has The
seattle fans with him. Now but as far As mahomes is,
CONCERNED i don't think he's gonna win to have A Super.
Bowl he's Not Tom. Brady Tom brady was different in
the sense That Tom brady when he didn't have top flight,
receivers but he would stole them. Open that's how good he.

(41:52):
Was he got rid of the, ball he put the
ball where they can catch, it and he would always
make the receivers, better thus making his team. Better And
i'm not saying That mahomes can't do. That i'm just
saying that he's not going to be able to do
it Like Tom.

Speaker 3 (42:05):
Brady All, Right so keep.

Speaker 13 (42:08):
Going as far as the college football is, CONCERNED i
think those other, teams you have to make a division
for them to compete in because they can't really compete
with the big. Boys it's to, me it's like the
major leagues and then college football is Like TRIPLE. A
then you got The DOUBLE, A SINGLE.

Speaker 2 (42:28):
A so.

Speaker 13 (42:29):
On you have to do it that way because they're
not going to be able to. COMPETE i really think
That Notre dame and UH byu should have been in
the playoffs Over tulane And James. Madison those two teams
should have been in there because the point is is
to get the best teams in the. Playoffs those two, teams,
yes they had great, seasons but they're not better than

(42:49):
those two teams THAT i just. Mentioned and then as
far as THE w the W, nba why do YOU
i don't understand why they keep shooting themselves in the.
Foot first of, all all they have a superstar In Kaitlyn,
park but they keep the.

Speaker 2 (43:03):
Key but real, QUICKLY i get all, that my, man
and you're doing. GREAT i just your thoughts on a.
Strike would you even care if they?

Speaker 3 (43:10):
Striked?

Speaker 1 (43:14):
Not?

Speaker 2 (43:14):
Really not?

Speaker 3 (43:15):
REALLY i mean you, know.

Speaker 2 (43:15):
So you don't really watch it anyway that, much is
What i'm really getting at.

Speaker 3 (43:18):
IT i mean you, no, NO i.

Speaker 13 (43:20):
DO i do watch. It I'm i'm a Huge i'm a.

Speaker 10 (43:22):
Huge.

Speaker 13 (43:22):
UH i, Mean i'm actually really A caitlyn guard plan
because she's the one that really made me interested in.
It BUT i don't think they're Doing oh, yes you did, great.

Speaker 2 (43:34):
MAN i want to let you run with The seahawks
and it's it's. JUSTIFIED i appreciate you speaking your mind on,
that AND i kind of kind of rooting for, them
BUT i really got to get to their. Calls don't be,
another don't be a, stranger. Glan, okay thanks a lot
for checking, In but In oakland you are up. Next
welcome to The Bernie Frattle.

Speaker 3 (43:50):
Show it was good with y'all doing good, Sir how are?
You i'm?

Speaker 7 (43:55):
Good so listen right as far as The Patrick. Mahomes
And i'm gonna tell you right. Now, Yeah, man as
A raider, FAN i hate to admit, it but, Yet
Patrick mahomes will get to another Super bowl and he
will win another Super.

Speaker 3 (44:07):
Bowl as long as.

Speaker 7 (44:09):
He's the quarterback of The chiefs And Andy reid is his,
coach they will win another Super. Bowl they just have
to change their. Philosophy. Now you, know When Tom brady
came in the, league he, had you, know a bunch
of you, know the two tight end deployment with a speedy.
Guy Patrick mahomes has always had the speedy guys with

(44:30):
one tight. End so now they're going to have to
flip their. Philosophy it's going to have to be two
tight ends now with one speed. Guyer, SO i, mean
the offensive line is still pretty, good the defense is
still doing some. Things so as long as they flip
the philosophy of what they have, NOW i truly believe, that,
yeah they will get to another Super. Bowl AND i
got to faith The mahomes only because, yes he's a.

(44:51):
Virgo So i'm a virgo some kind of High.

Speaker 3 (44:54):
Yeah well and, listen you know he's gonna.

Speaker 2 (44:57):
Ball but he's played in three phases thoughts on the
college football.

Speaker 15 (45:00):
Playoffs, yeah you.

Speaker 7 (45:02):
Know as far as the college fotball, PLAYOFFS i think
that as FAR i think they're just trying to find
a way to get other teams. Involves you, know it's
for so many years you've had all these the same
the same programs in the in you, know in the.
Playoffs so now when some programs start to get good,

(45:23):
enough you want to find a way to get those
guys in. There but as you're, seeing it's not good
for the state of the. PLAYOFFS i, mean even the
same thing WITH byu with a year or so, ago
they had this miraculous, season but they got to the
playoffs and then it just was was was wiped, out
was just completely taken away from. Them they put up a.

(45:43):
Fight so, YEAH i, mean you, KNOW i understand that some,
people some, teams some, programs they will shine the light
and some guys maybe they do deserve, it but once
they start going up against powerhouse.

Speaker 2 (45:54):
Teams well that's they're they're. There in lies the, Issue,
bud AND i think What nick Saban is suggested and
you created tier playoff is. Analysis his analogy was you
don't allow the triple a champion from The International league
to play for The World. Series you have any thoughts
on THE Nba cup and or the w n B.

Speaker 7 (46:11):
A as far as THE Nba, CUP i think, that you, know.

Speaker 14 (46:18):
It's just a it's just an in.

Speaker 7 (46:20):
Tournament as far as putting up banners and all of,
THAT i, mean do what you. Feel BUT i think as.
Garbage you, KNOW i think it gives guys a chance
to feel like they're playing with, something but not not.
REALLY i, mean you, know these guys want to they
want to put their energy into what really, matters THE
Nba Finals. Championship so you, know at the end of the,
day that's. Garbage as far as the w n B,

(46:42):
a pay, pay pay the ladies what they.

Speaker 2 (46:45):
DESERVE i, mean what do they deserve the lost money
for three, Decades, Bud where the hell is money supposed
to come?

Speaker 3 (46:51):
From Santa?

Speaker 2 (46:52):
CLAUS i, MEAN.

Speaker 7 (46:53):
I, mean if they're part of THE nba does, well.

Speaker 2 (46:57):
Okay, okay, fair fair. Enough hang on for a few more,
seconds BECAUSE i do want to get to other. Callers
but in this new, Proposal, bud the average sallary would
be five hundred and thirty, grand and they're thumbing their
nose at it for forty games a. Season so that's
All i'm, saying be careful what you wish. For that
feels to me like they're getting paid pretty. Fairly you
got the last, word but please make it. QUICK i

(47:18):
got against, callers all.

Speaker 7 (47:20):
Right, WELL i just feel like if there was more
sponsors and MORE tv, programming every other thing that's involved
that goes with the monetarily, thing THEN i think that
everyone can feel compensated. FAIRLY i, mean it's still a
sports at the end of the, day so they're, like
let's learning like things are not being.

Speaker 2 (47:37):
Sold, okay that's. Fair Thanks bud for checking. In but,
again the operative word there is if there were more,
sponsors if they get to that point where there's so much,
revenue yes they deserve their. Share But i'm having a
hard time after thirty years of just losing money and
it's existing at the largest Of richmond and THE.

Speaker 3 (47:54):
Nba jim In, massachusetts how are, You?

Speaker 2 (47:58):
Jim what's going?

Speaker 8 (48:00):
On Bernie mahomes will win Another Super, bowl but it
won't be With Kansas.

Speaker 3 (48:05):
City oh that's that's a hot.

Speaker 1 (48:08):
Take go.

Speaker 8 (48:08):
Ahead and the other thing is W nba let them walk,
by don't let the thought it hit you on the way.
Out all, Right, yeah let's be.

Speaker 2 (48:18):
Fair it's not THAT i don't want them to get,
paid BUT i don't want them to get paid something
stupid after losing money for thirty, years and to, talk you,
know in such a condescending, fashion is if they got this,
entitlement you, KNOW i can hold two thoughts concurrently continue.

Speaker 8 (48:34):
On, Bernie bernie a half a million dollars for like three?
Months what are? Its forty?

Speaker 12 (48:39):
Games and they're.

Speaker 8 (48:40):
Pissed they're, Pissed, yeah take it and.

Speaker 14 (48:43):
Run you.

Speaker 8 (48:44):
Know the other, Thing, hey let them next hang their
band because.

Speaker 15 (48:47):
The only one they're ever gonna.

Speaker 10 (48:48):
Have so you.

Speaker 2 (48:52):
Got, faraday we.

Speaker 8 (48:54):
Shouldn't what do they? Take they think Willis ring And
bradley to bush your? Price are gonna come walking out
of that tunnel for?

Speaker 9 (49:02):
Them?

Speaker 8 (49:02):
Now, no you're done You.

Speaker 3 (49:04):
They maybe Maybe dean the dream menmager will join.

Speaker 8 (49:06):
Him two things real, Quick, BERNIE i told you That
fageros were going, nowhere and they're gonna get crushed In
baltimore this.

Speaker 2 (49:14):
Weekend, yeah you, did Calle, Ball, jim you did call.

Speaker 3 (49:17):
That let's see what happens This.

Speaker 8 (49:19):
Sunday you should have heard you said that you listened
to the sports uh commentator from another state and everything like.
That you should have heard the people. AROUND i almost
drove off the. Road they, said, well you can Cancel
Drake may for being CONSIDERED mvp up for this. Game
there what you should have followed their. Schedule they PLAYED
i think the second easiest schedule in the. League the

(49:40):
defense won half of those, games and they saved his,
career ran from almost dumping some. Games so they're Not
their record is nothing to what they really. Are all, Right,
yeah let's get that out.

Speaker 3 (49:53):
There all, Right. Jim and the last, thing and the.

Speaker 8 (49:57):
Last thing Is. Bernie you mean to tell me bet
a major university paid the guy a bonus of two
hundred and fifty thousands on his ex team won A bowl.

Speaker 3 (50:08):
Game, yeah it's In.

Speaker 2 (50:09):
Lane it was In Lane skiffin's, contract Which mississippi is
honoring that whatever playoff games were won this, Year Lane.

Speaker 3 (50:16):
Kiffin would still would still collect his. Bonus, Yes and if.

Speaker 2 (50:21):
They go in and Date, georgia he'll get another another.
Bonus so, Yeah, ji, guys always go. Ahead if was.

Speaker 8 (50:28):
The kids going to school there any way like, That
i'd be furious with that. Child the kids would go
to school, now but books and rooming and everything and
throwing money around like. That that's.

Speaker 3 (50:37):
Right, yeah, WELL i hear. You thank, GOD i at
least had a half baseball.

Speaker 2 (50:42):
Scholarship but you KNOW i did maintain a three point
seven my four. Years it's, oh, actually you know that
was my blood alcohol. CONTENT i Digress kyl And. Mays
i'm sure you got. Some you're gonna be breathing fire.
Tonight let a, Rip.

Speaker 10 (50:55):
Oh, Bernie bernie. Burniey i'm gonna make this For.

Speaker 16 (50:58):
Sweden, simple thank, You la for losing that. Game Go,
bears role, tide beautiful. Weekend can't say anything better than
all we need now is just A detroit, loss and
The bears are just gonna canapult their way to the
playoffs with punching our. Ticket great job, Being, Johnson Kayln,
devour great job. PITCH a perfect weekend so? Far all,

(51:19):
right here we go really. Quick i'm gonna combine two
and one for, You Emmerits. Cup why don't y'all take
y'all but over to THE. Wnba give, them, lady something
to actually play for in season so they can actually
have something to look forward. To give your products something
Better THE nba doesn't need. That THE nba already has
enough load management and crap like, That so, no bring.

(51:40):
Back you already know What i'm gonna. Say can we
get Roller derby in?

Speaker 7 (51:43):
Place?

Speaker 16 (51:43):
Then if we can't Get i'm just, saying it's a
better women's. Sport it's a better women's, sport more, contact,
le less, crying and better better. Sportsmanship, no the college
playoffs need shoe. Change we don't Need i'm going to
give a shout out To Las vegas right. Here we

(52:04):
don't need another situation where you get a school like
How Still soul just beat up on one of these
teams out here one hundred and four to. One that
is the same. Difference we're not getting ANOTHER smu of
the late, eighties early. Nineties we're not getting the early
two THOUSANDS tcu teams walking through that, door or even
heck And Alex smith Driven utah youth. Team, okay we're

(52:27):
not getting those teams that are going to come busting
through that college football playoff door where The Sweet cinderella
can do what they do in THE ncaa men's basketball
side of. Things we're not going to get, That so
can we please stop putting up these powerhouse teams Against, Jake,
Paul anthony Josh WA's situation getting knocked out within the
first couple of minutes or you, know of the sixth,

(52:49):
round or we don't want to see that no. More Patrick,
mahomes my guy is going to win another. One and
like the other caller, SAID i don't think he's gonna
be with with those. Guys it's a lot of guys
that came out of that tank over this last. Season
they have to refuel and refocus and retool that offensive.
Line you got to get some more. WEAPONS i wouldn't

(53:09):
even say weapons on the offensive side of the. Ball
your defense needs to be more. Productive they're not moving
games because of the losing games because of their. Defense
bernie as always my, GUY i love you love the.
Show uh putt put this into. Perspective uh w N
B a get damn Rich, Cup you'll do a lot.

Speaker 10 (53:28):
Better peace.

Speaker 3 (53:29):
OUT i always love.

Speaker 2 (53:31):
How kyle references the Roller derby and and you know
people can google, it but that that was a. Spectacle,
actually the theatrics and the excitement probably is much better
than the W. Nba, Like i'm not dogging a W.
Nba they play a pretty good brand of. Basketball is
it exciting to watch for?

Speaker 17 (53:50):
Me?

Speaker 3 (53:50):
No but that's. Okay that's.

Speaker 3 (55:13):
Man that a? Rip all?

Speaker 12 (55:15):

Speaker 3 (55:21):
Me, yes, yeah you go ahead.

Speaker 12 (55:23):
Anyways and check if you're.

Speaker 10 (55:25):
ON i hear your.

Speaker 12 (55:25):
VOICE i Go, bernie, Anyways.

Speaker 3 (55:29):
Well you're the, one, okay all.

Speaker 12 (55:32):
Right and don't make me get started on the. Rams all,
Right but ALL i got to say, is come, On,
mickday you let that one slip and all, right first
topic is college. FOOTBALL i would, Say Nick, saban say
what you said To Sean. King he's a two Lane

(55:55):
YEAH i, Know sean, yeah two lane. Alum yeah he
went he went to the. Game he was all fired.
Up you know What i'm. Saying or say that To.
Rudy we can't forget all. Right i've said this on
this show. BEFORE i might just make this the last
THING i.

Speaker 2 (56:09):
Say but.

Speaker 12 (56:11):
You can't take a, school even if they're, smaller unless
you divide the league. More and if they're, undefeated you
can't hold them out Like Florida. State you can't hold
him out of the playoffs because if they haven't, lost
you can't logically prove that they would. Lose you, know

(56:34):
they have all these statistical.

Speaker 10 (56:36):
Ones, now so.

Speaker 2 (56:37):
Here's the, Thing, andrew because what you're saying is not.
Fault you're not, wrong it's. Theoretical AND i see him
kind of in your. CORNER i want there to be
a fairness opportunity that people deserve a, champion a shot
at a. Championship cincinnati was undefeated a few years. Ago
they had left out as, Well So i'm kind of with.
You the question is this is A tv. Show it's

(56:58):
GLORIFIED tv. Show do because go, ahead continue.

Speaker 12 (57:02):
On, well there's always a chance that The cinderella, team
the smaller school can win and then win, again and
then win, again and then people will for sure be
watching and rooting for.

Speaker 2 (57:15):
It probably all, right all, RIGHT i am not disavowing
your prems anything.

Speaker 3 (57:19):
Else Force Tonight, andrew.

Speaker 12 (57:23):
What were the three? Others will pick?

Speaker 3 (57:24):
One you care if they strike or?

Speaker 12 (57:26):
Not, oh that's. Okay WHAT i thought of was if
we're paying college athletes men football, players and they could
be like eighteen and getting millions of, dollars you, know
world like. This that's ALL i have to. Say you
got to keep it even and pay the women their money.

Speaker 2 (57:43):
Fair where's it coming? From where's it coming? From who's
going to pay? It you got a league just lost
a billion dollars in thirty. Years where's the mb from THE?

Speaker 10 (57:52):
Nba?

Speaker 12 (57:53):
Now THE nba can pay.

Speaker 2 (57:54):
Him THE nba happen without without without The without THE, Nba,
andrew they wouldn't, exist.

Speaker 12 (58:00):
Right and they should pay them more because they're offered.

Speaker 2 (58:04):
Under the new under the NEW. Cba my, man did
that be thirty? Grands not enough for forty?

Speaker 12 (58:10):
Games how much are they paying college football? Players all?

Speaker 2 (58:14):
RIGHT i don't want to do the what if scenarios
BECAUSE i got other callers anything on anything On Patrick.
Mahomes but you think it went Another Super?

Speaker 12 (58:20):
Bowl, NO i don't have a. COMMENT i have to
pass that.

Speaker 3 (58:25):
ONE i appreciate, You.

Speaker 2 (58:26):
Andrew you've called a lot and you keep it Coming,
Okay martin And orange came out of the gates strong
a few weeks. AGO i expect you to be strong. Tonight,
martin what do you got fourth?

Speaker 16 (58:34):
Pow how you doing?

Speaker 11 (58:36):
Burning happy holidays to you and your back, team, ingreedients
to all the. Callers i'm just going to start with
THIS Nba cup and it's, like to, me it's who
cares even if your team's in. It you watch it
and you're, Like, OKAY i get, it BUT i Was
i'm a Lake. VAN i wish they never would.

Speaker 2 (58:55):
Have hung that.

Speaker 11 (58:56):
MATTER i wish they'd rip it down right. Now but
the popping off, saying, oh we don't need no stinking.
Banner you know, what when the most famous player in
your franchise is one of the greatest directors In, america
Like Spike, lee that's WHO i think of WHEN i
think of the NEXT i think Of Spike. Lee Will

(59:17):
Patrick mahomes win Another Super? BOWL i don't think So.
Bernie and maybe that's just you, know me being greedy
in my heart BECAUSE i don't like the, man Because
i'm not A Kansas City chiefs. Fan BUT i think
it's more of we see a career Like brady and
we see the start of mahomes career and we, figured,

(59:41):
hey the same thing's gonna. Happen BUT i don't think
we realize how Special brady's career.

Speaker 2 (59:47):
Actually, well he was, surgical he didn't make playsoff schedule
and if you go, back AND i actually Like mahomes
a lot and respect, him but his style is not working.
Anymore too many of these whirling dervish swinging, around do
the dipsy duode jitterbug pull it out of. Her took
us and all, said, oh There's kelsey in the end.
Zone it ain't working, anymore, Man and that's his. Style
you don't escape your.

Speaker 3 (01:00:07):
Nature continue.

Speaker 11 (01:00:08):
On, yeah he had libs and LIKE i, said let
me rephrase. THAT i dislike him as a, fan BUT
i respect him as the player he.

Speaker 3 (01:00:16):
Is he's a great, Guy, YEAH i.

Speaker 11 (01:00:17):
Think and W nba going on. Strike i'm, like come, on,
girls don't. Don't don't cut off your nose despite your.
Face take to take your, paycheck take your. Money remember
you're playing a. Game you're bouncing the ball on the.

(01:00:38):
Ground if you want to join the real workforce and,
Complain i'll. Understand but even when the athletes like male
athletes complain us as, fans we don't understand that you're
playing a game that we, love that we would die
to play for, free and you guys are complaining about.

(01:01:01):
Money last subject was the college. Playoffs WHEN i found
funny Was Nick saban seeing what he said, about, oh you,
know we don't need these guys. Paper you, know he
never had a problem with these schools when he was
seating them ten fifteen millions to come get schmet by

(01:01:23):
us for free on our. Opener he was all for
him plays and now he's against them getting in the.
Tournament so that tells me. This if a team Like
vanderbilt wins THE, SEC i can, say who? Cares vanderbilt is?
Trash they're notoriously, trashed don't. Care if they want THE,

(01:01:44):
sec they shouldn't be in the. Tournament this is a subjective, Thing,
bernie and it's always gonna be. Subjective and there's gonna
be people who are gonna be, upset and there's gonna
be people who are gonna be happy in an ore.

Speaker 8 (01:01:58):
Game if the ORDER shoa.

Speaker 15 (01:02:01):
CONFERENCE i love.

Speaker 2 (01:02:03):
You bernie had a good Name martin and orange ladies and,
gentlemen and he uh if he could just get into
get over this. Shyness good, stuff good, Stuff. Martin appreciate
your strong. Opinions obie In Los. Angeles welcome into The Bernie.
Fraushow how are you good, evening Mister.

Speaker 10 (01:02:20):
Fratt you're doing a great job as.

Speaker 2 (01:02:22):
Always thank, you.

Speaker 10 (01:02:23):
Sir, Okay, so first of, all The Carlos championship. Goes
i'm gonna look at it this. WAY i think it's
a resource. ISSUE i think that you must allow these
smaller schools to allow to get access to these. Resources
that's a great. Point SO i look at a team
Like gonzaga twenty years. Ago i've been, Yeah i've Been
i'm around for a long. Time twenty thirty years. Ago
you never heard of the team until they've won sometimes

(01:02:43):
in a champ in the tournament and they got, resources
they got. Better don't let these schools get these resources
to get. Better we're always going to have blowouts in
the first.

Speaker 7 (01:02:50):
Round.

Speaker 10 (01:02:51):
Always we always got blowouts some tournament. Games so it's gonna.
Happen but you allowed to let them have access to
those resources so you can get. Better Patrick mahomes WILL
i believe he will win the Champions sister, AGAIN i
believe you should just take the year. OFF i think
you should learn from guys in the past who rushed
and didn't work. OUT i look At Cam newton who

(01:03:11):
were rushed and his career was never the. SAME i
look at other guys who just rushed and their careers
are never the. Same they should just should take the year.
OFF i Let Kansas city get some, resources you, know
get a low, round high draft pick and all that
kind of thing to rebuild the. TEAM i think you
take the year. Off THE Wnba unfortunately for, them they

(01:03:32):
don't understand how business. Works it looks, great they look
like they should be getting more, money but if they
don't understand how money is made in, sport then you
can't understand how you should get. Paid revenue is not.
Driven they think that just because people are watching and
talking about and it's driving, everything that's not driving. Revenue
but they have to get a better understanding of what drives.

(01:03:55):
Revenue and that's that's what's last on these on these.
Individuals unfortunate. Reality what was the last? One i'm?

Speaker 3 (01:04:02):
Sorry THE Nba.

Speaker 10 (01:04:04):
Cup, oh THEN i like THE Nba. CUP i think
that if you're not if you're in the N B.
A and you're not gonna move your season to start
On Christmas day and d later in the. Year you
need to have something that makes you watch between you,
Know november And october To Christmas. Day SO i like
THE Nba. CUP i think IT'S i think it's kind of.

(01:04:26):
Cool as far As, BANNERSVILLE i can take her or leave,
it BUT i like the excitement that it. Creates because you,
know we know that nobody really cares about THE nba Before.
Christmas this allows us to at least watch the, team
watch THE nba Before. Christmas mind suggested to THE, nba
move your start To Christmas day and move your end
to somewhere In jeanie Laryd. July and that, way to,

(01:04:48):
me you get. Beyond and what you do is you
make your your mid term during THE Ncaa, championship so
you're not on you're in the championship to take that
week off during the you, know your season breaks during
that period of. Time people watcha, championship they come back
and then you want looking great AND i wants to watch.
Bastball we'll be strong.

Speaker 2 (01:05:09):
Stuff don't be a. Stranger and a couple of prominent.
POINTS i mentioned this and WHEN i was setting up
the topics that one of the issues of the competitive
imbalance is THE g five teams don't have the, resources the,
revenue the, recruiting all those.

Speaker 3 (01:05:25):
Things and it gets you Wondering Tulane James Madison.

Speaker 2 (01:05:29):
University since, then these are proud. Institutions where are your?
Donors instead of allowing schools to poach your best, players
how about if you find the resources to keep them
there because you're knocking on the. Door and The gonzaga you,
know If mark fu can do what he did up
there starting With dan Dick al back in two, thousand
well other schools should be able to do it. Too

(01:05:50):
poppy And San diego is having At.

Speaker 15 (01:05:52):
Poppy, WELL i want to talk about Beautiful San. Diego about,
college you, know Like San Diego State. College it's like
over here In Santego, state they're known for basketball. Program
yeah we have a football. Program not are a lot
of resources and stuff like. That and, yeah it was
great giving Them Other Mountain west teams Like boise stay

(01:06:13):
And opportunity to shige AND i THINK i think what
they're doing with the, Playoffs bernie to sum it, UP
i think they're they're going to expand more teams like
The World. Cup expand and make it.

Speaker 8 (01:06:23):
Little by little more.

Speaker 15 (01:06:24):
TEAMS i think that's where they're going with that, playoffs because.

Speaker 2 (01:06:27):
That might be. Solution, good four more teams but no.
Buys maybe the top four get two home games if
you keep. Winning all, right what are your thoughts about
the other? TOPICS wnba STRIKES cba And Patrick Mahomes, OKAY.

Speaker 15 (01:06:40):
Wnba, look a lot of people are saying about, women
but these women are making more money than us with
the new bargain agreement Of, bernie like over five hundred, Kay,
LIKE i don't know what the original, want but the
numbers are. Doubling, hey these, women The Clinton, clark she's
making a lot of, Money like she don't need to
make so. Much she's got a contract with planning of
these sports cards he's making all like the nil all

(01:07:03):
these revenuts, Outside like all these women are just. COMPLAINING
i got multiple jobs at, work Called Dave, bernie SO
i complain of all my one.

Speaker 2 (01:07:11):
Job here here's the, Deal, Poppy AND i know a
lot of people have said THAT i, will in maintaining my.
Objectivity if you're one of the top two hundred women
basketball players in the. World, fine you deserve to be
paid if you're bringing in, money but if you lose
for thirty. YEARS i understand on the horizon things might

(01:07:32):
be looking, brighter but they're trying to make this quantum
leap and.

Speaker 3 (01:07:37):
They're their rhetoric and their. POSITION i think it's pissing
off a lot of.

Speaker 8 (01:07:41):
People, yeah.

Speaker 15 (01:07:44):
Making them. Mad but now they didn't, say baby said
take a. Contract this up to. You i'm not financial, Advisor,
bernie but, Look i'm Patching mahomes on his. Injury i'm
so heartbroken and stuff like. That before the, Season, BERNIE
i said on The Ben matters or my, MENTOR i, said,
hey The chiefs are not Gonna Winator, CENTERAL Afc. West
people will call Me. Craigy i'm, like another team's gonna win.

(01:08:05):
IT i predicted The. Broncos it seems like they're going that.
Way but, LOOK i think What Patrick mahomes needs to.
Do talk To Tom, Brady go get a surgery from
the surgeon From Tom, brady AND i predict, That, yeah
he will get another, ring but not with his offense
that people were, saying, oh rise is the. Season why
they went? Down it's this. Fension, no they're just a

(01:08:28):
horrible team and you don't do some. Changes what the
problem with the team is A Taylor swift. Curse that's
what happened with the. City Ge and onto the, basketball
the CUP Nba. Cup, Look, BERNIE i, mean this is
a pride joy the Whole Commissioner Adam SILBER i met.

(01:08:49):

CHIEFS i thought they would, regroup gather themselves and acquit,
themselves maybe not win their, division but find a way
into the playoffs first time at ten.

win another Super bowl like. Three he's pretty, impressive so you, know,
fair yeah. Yeah as far as THE Nba, CUP i
think that they're trying to do something like The english primarily,
exactly but they don't have the history with. It and

(01:10:51):
the only person really counting those is Le Bron james
because he's never gonna.

Speaker 12 (01:10:55):
Catch My.

Speaker 2 (01:10:57):
That's so, good all, right thanks a, Lot go, Ahead,
zach go.

Speaker 18 (01:11:01):
Ahead as far as the W nba, players it's, like
if they want us to pay them what we owe,
them we can send them an invoice for the last
twenty five years not making a. Profit it's, LIKE i.

Speaker 11 (01:11:15):
MEAN i am An Indiana fever fan And.

Speaker 18 (01:11:17):
Aliah boston, fan BUT i mean fair is, fair you.
Know and then as far as the college football playoffs goes,
like just get one representative from each conference or conference,
winners then go buy records and go buy conference. Records
you don't need a. Committee it's not that.

Speaker 2 (01:11:35):
Hard strong.

why they're on.

Speaker 15 (01:12:20):
Strike they should well they haven't gone.

Speaker 2 (01:12:22):
On strike, yet but they're talking about. It so just
ever so, QUICKLY i, mean does that move the needle
for you at?

Speaker 17 (01:12:27):
All not, really not, really because nobody really cares about THE,
nba you know What i'm.

Speaker 2 (01:12:34):
SAYING i mean a lot of people know that it's the.
Truth how About mahomes and the other? Topics real, quickly But, mahomes,
okay all, Right.

Speaker 12 (01:12:43):
MAHOMES i think he will win Another Super.

Speaker 15 (01:12:46):
Bowl even though he has a tourney.

Speaker 11 (01:12:50):
Knee knee, problem knee.

Speaker 12 (01:12:52):
Injury but here's the.

Speaker 11 (01:12:53):
Thing in the last five, years.

Speaker 19 (01:12:55):
The core of that team has played nineteen.

Speaker 7 (01:12:58):
Games that's equivalent to more the one season.

Speaker 17 (01:13:04):
Exactly with these jungsters coming, up they're, hungry they're trying to.

Speaker 11 (01:13:07):
Win houston did it At Kansas?

Speaker 10 (01:13:10):
City REALLY i, MEAN i like.

Speaker 11 (01:13:13):
GAMBLING i love.

Speaker 15 (01:13:14):
It but the thing, IS i don't.

Speaker 11 (01:13:16):
KNOW i mean this IS i don't think they can
do it.

Speaker 15 (01:13:18):
Again but he might.

Speaker 2 (01:13:21):
Go real, Quickly carlos on the that's a really good
point you brought. Up by the, way all the extracurricular
in the off real, quickly college football? Playoff do we
need a change or just keep it the?

Speaker 8 (01:13:29):
Same that's my bread and, butter my.

Speaker 11 (01:13:31):
MAN i love college.

Speaker 15 (01:13:32):
FOOTBALL i have a daughter who goes to A g five, school.

Speaker 17 (01:13:36):
AND i know it's about litigations and some of these
schools do not belonging there like, today we do not
Need James. Madison we don't know one teams could have
been in Like.

Speaker 8 (01:13:50):
Tulane but the thing Is Notre dame.

Speaker 11 (01:13:52):
Deserve to be in. There that's ALL i can.

Speaker 2 (01:13:55):
Say really good stuff and don't be a. Stranger like
to hear from you. AGAIN i just got a deadline
here AND i want to want to turn. Anybodyway thank
you so, Much cameron And alabama welcome.

Speaker 10 (01:14:04):
In, hi good, Evening. Bernie how's it going, it?

Speaker 2 (01:14:08):
Sir?

Speaker 3 (01:14:08):
Good go, ahead, Pal thank.

Speaker 12 (01:14:10):
You.

Speaker 8 (01:14:11):
Yeah So i'll start on the.

Speaker 20 (01:14:12):
Topic guy mainly called in about and.

Speaker 8 (01:14:14):
That's the college football.

Speaker 20 (01:14:15):
Playoffs, so as you, Said i'm From alabama alumni OF
Uab University Valveema, birningham which is A g five. Team
about ten years ago our team was completely.

Speaker 13 (01:14:26):
Canceled it was.

Speaker 8 (01:14:27):
DEVASTATING i hated.

Speaker 20 (01:14:29):
It we used to play in a dump stadium in
Downtown birmingham Called Legion, field which is over one hundred years.
Old at this, point stadium was starting to get, investments
AND i really think it's been a terrible. Thing that's
going away from the amateurism of the. Sport you've really
killed a lot of the teams that don't have the
resources but would still like to.

Speaker 10 (01:14:49):
Compete and for.

Speaker 20 (01:14:51):
Me Nick saban's, comments he's coming.

Speaker 8 (01:14:53):
From a comment from the.

Speaker 20 (01:14:55):
Top so Obviously alabama's been the best team of the
past ten fifteen. Years But i'm coming from a perspective
at the bottom and from WHAT i, see.

Speaker 2 (01:15:04):
So we need to find a way to keep it the.
Same but IF i had more, Time i'd let you
continue on. That but the bottom line is we need
to keep it the, same give the little guy at
least a.

Speaker 3 (01:15:13):
Shot fair that.

Speaker 2 (01:15:15):
Where we're going with at.

Speaker 8 (01:15:17):
Tally.

Speaker 20 (01:15:18):
Yet but one last thing about that, is as A
d five, FAN i would much rather go and play
At oregon lose fifty by zero than win some second rate.

Speaker 10 (01:15:27):
Championship and that's ALL i get.

Speaker 2 (01:15:29):
That, hey that's not a bad that's not a bad thought, There,
cameron AND i wish we had more. Time but, thanks
thanks for your. POINTS i accept your. Premise holler And
james In, minneapolis.

Speaker 3 (01:15:40):
Welcome back In how are? You Thanks holler And.

Speaker 2 (01:15:46):
James, Goodbye patrick In, Norfolk.

Speaker 3 (01:15:48):
Virginia how are, you? Sir how you?

Speaker 14 (01:15:50):
Doing how you? Doing it's pronounced it pronounced, morphic by the.
Way we're Very, Yeah i'm.

Speaker 3 (01:15:55):
Not you, KNOW i got a few holes in my.
Game man continue.

Speaker 14 (01:15:57):
On, okay So patrick homes he may win Another super
bowlbus will be. Awful tough to put together a team
like they did all these many. Years it's very tough
to do in this current. Environment it's going to be
the biggest. Issue go, ahead with regards to the W
nba if they go on. STRIKE i don't think anybody's gonna.

(01:16:17):
Care BUT i, mean but if you think about, it
think about THE. Nfl it used to be that a
lot of those guys had to work a regular.

Speaker 3 (01:16:28):
Job, yeah that's we're long past.

Speaker 2 (01:16:30):
That. LISTEN i understand the logic and how working hard people.
FEEL i don't put them in that. CATEGORY i just
think they've overrated their. Value but your, POINT i accept your.
Point patrick thoughts on The okay college football.

Speaker 14 (01:16:45):
Playoffs tellege football. PLAYOFFS i Think Notre dame should have
been in. It as A Roman, CATHOLIC i was actually
more upset About Notre dame not being in the playoffs
at my own, School university Of virginia losing The agency.
CHAMPIONSHIP i think we're a team on the ascendancy With
JEREMI i. LOVE i think their quarterback calls so.

Speaker 2 (01:17:07):
So the bottom line is this current format needs a.
Tweak it's not that it's not that you're against the little,
guys but not at the expense.

Speaker 3 (01:17:15):
Of Notre dame keeping out funning CORRECT Nba.

Speaker 14 (01:17:18):
CUP Nba, Cup, PATRICK i don't watch THE. NBA i
just find THE nba very. Boring it's people throwing up
three point shots and people taking time. OFF i think
either to make it, exciting you need to shorten the.

Speaker 2 (01:17:34):
Season listen to all the all fair enough, Points, PATRICK
i appreciate your patience, online and thanks for checking In
rico In, virginia bringing home for. Us thanks for you
hanging online as.

Speaker 19 (01:17:47):
Well no problem making real, Quick. Bernie, first with THE Nba,
cup let's get rid of. It it's a. Joke it's
a participation. Trophy But i'm done with. It Patrick, MAHOMES
i think go to three More Super. Bowls he'll only
win one, more and With Kansas, city BUT i don't
think it's gonna be With Andy.

Speaker 2 (01:18:05):
Reid what were the other topics?

Speaker 3 (01:18:09):
Strike, yeah the W nba.

Speaker 19 (01:18:12):
Strike, look they just started getting. Hot, okay they're riding
off the coattails of their success in The women's league
and THE Nc DOUBLE. A let's give it a little
more years to prove your worth before we start being
like you. Said and the same thing with the college football,
players like you, said GLORIFIED tv. Show we're trying to

(01:18:33):
make it A cinderella story Like March. Madness if we're
gonna give these teams a, chance let's put some some
big boys in their schedule during the regular season so
they can see what they're really getting. Into And i'm
not talking about just the bottom tier of THE p.
Four let's let's put Some io And alabama in the
regular seasons and then let's give them a chance in the.

(01:18:55):
Playoffs let's let's prove ourselves.

Speaker 2 (01:18:57):
First all, right thank, You, rico don't BE i want
to thank all the callers who took the time really
interesting thoughts.

Speaker 3 (01:19:04):
TONIGHT a disparate. GROUP i enjoy this AND i think
you do.

Speaker 2 (01:19:08):
Too AND i want to, AGAIN i thank all the,
callers But, Rico Patrick cameron And Bama Carlos. Zach we
needed to hustle. THROUGH i didn't want to turn anybody.
Away and Great john forgetting to your. Points and there
were WHAT i thought a lot of thoughtful things. Said
and keep in, mind the most important topic to me
tonight was this group of. Five you, know in the

(01:19:29):
expanded playoff format there is a competitive. Imbalance one of the,
callers it was, suggested how those schools need to find their,
resources and, yeah where are the donors for those? Schools
but you, know you have a situation where you're punching
up a weight class and you don't have the same
proclivities you're bringing to the. Fight so once, again thanks

(01:19:51):
to all the callers of Midnight. Hour we do this
Every saturday night at Midnight pacific. Time people did great
a lot of interesting stuff, tonight as they're always is
is it'll get your thinking coming. Up we switched our
thoughts to THE. Nba Mark medina joins, us so keep it.
Locked you're listening to The Bernie Frattle show On Fox Sports.

Speaker 1 (01:20:10):
Radio you're listening To Fox Sports.

Speaker 2 (01:20:13):
Radio it's, right you heard the. Man Bernie Fradle show
keeps scrolling right. Along count your life In Las. Vegas
Fox Sports Radio studios take you after three M, pacific
six Am. Eastern thanks again so much to all the
midnight hour. Callers you make that segment. Rock but we
turn our attention to other more important. Things well they're

(01:20:33):
all equally, important but very. Topical three simple. Words it's that.
Time Mark, medina Our Fox Sports RADIO nba, guru also
a writer For Essentially, sports joins us Every saturday night
Into sunday morning at this time because THE nba is
always in the, news and well tonight it's no. Different,

(01:20:53):
mark welcome. In were you buy any chance at The
Clippers lakers game On saturday? Night?

Speaker 9 (01:20:58):
Oh of COURSE i always am my most games AND
i was out the latest. One.

Speaker 2 (01:21:02):
Yeah so The lakers lose by. Fifteen lebron score is
thirty six and we'll get to The Chris paul stuff
in a. Minute but did you have a takeaway from that?
GAME i said The lakers would go forty two and.
Forty right, now they're making me look, foolish But i'm
not backing off of.

Speaker 3 (01:21:15):
That what did you See saturday?

Speaker 9 (01:21:16):
Night, well the takeaways is WHAT i didn't see on the.
Court there are a lot of players that didn't suit,
up and we knew that ahead of, time you, know
because really At chamora he had right groin. Soreness DeAndre
eight And Austin reeves And Cape vincent have missed recent
games and continue to be. Out but a new injury
came up With Luca dodgers missing the entire second. Half
and what was little ominous is The lakers only said

(01:21:38):
that he had a left lake. CONTUSION. J. J reddick
didn't have any information beyond. That his, teammates you, know
they saw him limping and showing some, discomfort but they
don't really. Know and so when you think lake, contusion
you wonder does that involve someone with his Calf and
we've seen calf injuries be really dicey this, season so
we'll wait and.

Speaker 2 (01:21:59):
See, WELL i understand he had a collision With Bogdan.

Speaker 3 (01:22:02):
Bogdanovitch he's at yeah. Too, okay so this has nothing
to do with.

Speaker 2 (01:22:06):
What happened last. Summer we of course sort of dodged.

Speaker 9 (01:22:10):
A, bullet, Right, no, no, NO i mean he's played
a lot of games since. Then he, played he's played
AN mvp, level LEADING nba in. Scoring so, yeah this
was specific with a play against The clippers in the first.
Half you, KNOW Jj reddick was saying, that you, know
he had relayed to him that he wasn't feeling good
enough to play in the second, half and that was.

(01:22:31):
That but, yeah The lakers will get some more Information
sunday or, Yeah sunday And monday to see if he'll
be able to suit up On tuesday's game In.

Speaker 2 (01:22:41):
Phoenix, okay of, COURSE i think you'd be at The clipper.
GAME i just, said you, know it's a PROTOCOL i
have To so let's stay on this for just a.
SECOND i wasn't going to do, This, mark but there
in line is the reason Why i'm not high on The,
lakers AND i thought the'd be forty two and. Forty they're,
fragile they don't have a high margin of, error and
if you look at the season in context With. Luca

(01:23:02):
In october he was sidelined for a couple of weeks
with left, fingerspraying and they reported some sort of lower
late contusion back. Then and In november he missed some
time with some other oddball late related issue we don't know.
About and then you, know THEN i, guess you, know
he had to go back home for the birth of
the second. Child that's all, good but Then saturday night
and they're already depleted with you, Know Austin, Reeves Jandre,

(01:23:24):
ruhachemura et. Cetera this team feels like, they're you, know
whistening through the. Graveyard if you asked, me.

Speaker 9 (01:23:31):
YEAH i think it was very telling what you were
saying about their margin for aer or because before the GAME. J.
J reddick was talking about that margin for air because
last year when they lost to The, clippers he was,
saying they really don't have any and you, know some
reporters were wondering that it has improved ever since this
past year with Game luca dots and he mentioned like

(01:23:52):
yes and, no there they're more. Talented luca is a game,
changer but he doesn't think their margin for air is
dramatically that. Different, Now i'm going to play back a little.
Bit even though you know The lakers have some injury
issues right, NOW i don't view them as a fragile
team only because most of them are, young and outside
Of Lebron, james we're not dealing with players having to

(01:24:13):
Navigate father. Time but WHAT i will say is they
don't have a lot of. Depth they have some offensive,
depth but defensively it's not really, existent and they've been
one of the worst teams defensively in the, league despite
bolstering some good three AND d wing, players most notably
With Marcus. Smart so that's WHERE i think lies The.
Rubs they've been good enough offensively to mostly stay afloat

(01:24:38):
so far and win a lot of close, games but
even in today's MODERN, mba you got to make, stops
and they haven't been able to do that in the consistent.

Speaker 2 (01:24:47):
Basis, YEAH i don't want to, overreact but when you
get housed by a team who's six and twenty, one
that's just a different.

Speaker 3 (01:24:54):
Dynamic so let's just see where they go from.

Speaker 2 (01:24:57):
Here regarding The, Clippers i'm hearing that The chris Paul
in limbo situation has really become a serious. Distraction maybe,
not and he falls To Chris paul's AND i you,
know we all heard about this folloween, party but what
are they going to finally do With Chris?

Speaker 9 (01:25:12):
Paul, Yeah, well the reason why there was never any
like formal announcement, that, oh he's been cut or waived
is that Until december, fifteenth players that signed with the
team as a free, agent that's the first time they
can get trades. Traded so he's away from the, team
but he hasn't been wighed because they're trying to see

(01:25:34):
if they can make some sort of package deal with.
Him AND i think here is what lies the world
With Chris paul is that he's A hall fame point.
Guard he's one of the best point guards of this.
Generation but is there going to be a market for,
him given where he's on his age and given you
know what you would have to give up to get,
him and he's not the same player as he once.

(01:25:57):
Was SO i think what's going to happen is they're
probably there's going to be a negotiation with a buyout
and then maybe a team that is containing for a
championship but doesn't need him to play a pivotal role
could sign. Him look at The Oklahoma City. Thunder they're
obviously coming off of championship, here but they also have
good history together with him when he was traded there From,

(01:26:20):
houston and you, know to a, man The thunder really
Credit Chris paul, for you, know that transition after you
know he was traded, there making sure there's still a
playoff caliber. Team SO i want to be surprised if
that winds up.

Speaker 3 (01:26:34):
Happening Tommy Mark Medina Anina.

Speaker 2 (01:26:37):
Magic so we. Are now that's a good segue because
THE nba trade, season as it, were is now sort of.
Underway UNTIL i Guess jannis requests the. Trade there's no
point in even talking about, him, Right The bucks aren't
even talking to other, teams and there's nothing there to
be seen.

Speaker 9 (01:26:57):
There, Correct, well we can, serve we talk about. It
it makes for great, radio BUT i don't think anything's gonna.
Happen and Tell jannis onto To koomba or His asian
at least makes it clear to The bucks that he
wants to get. TRADED i think The bucks have concluded,
that you, know, obviously if they trade, him you're never

(01:27:17):
going to get equal. Value even though they'll expect a
pretty hefty. PACKAGE i think they also conclude, that especially
in a small, market if they trade them all of a,
sudden they're now irrelevant and they're not in a position
to at least compete for a playoff. Spot THAT i
think the other thing they're trying to Sell yiannis on
is that through both hits and, misses The bucks front

(01:27:39):
office have always been aggressive and putting the right roster
around Gian us and have always listened to. Him think
of when they Got Drew, holliday that was a huge
move they got to help them win a. CHAMPIONSHIP i
think on the other side of spectrum and Get Damian
liward didn't work. Out he winds up getting. Injured but you,

(01:28:00):
know it's something That yannis wanted to. Do and then
you're looking the coaching changes after Fireing Mike, boodenholzer listening
to his feedback on those. Things SO i, think to a,
man The bucks can, say, look you're, honest we understand your.
Frustration we're frustrated as, well but we've been listening to
you and doing everything we can to put the best

(01:28:23):
team around.

Speaker 2 (01:28:23):
You talk Of Mark, Medina medina, Magic let's move On Anthony.
DAVIS i know that The MAVs are willing to trade
him and probably want to trade, him But i'm understanding
they're pricing him so high that it could spill into
the off. Season what are you hearing, About Anthony? Davis
isn't it? True Possibly atlanta In toronto might be the
two teams that would pull me up.

Speaker 9 (01:28:44):
Something, yeah IF i had a, guess he gets traded
before the trade. Deadline but here's the. Thing we're Talking
december twenty, first twenty, second a few days Before. Christmas
the trade deadline isn't Until. February so right, NOW i
think The bucks are just or The mavericks are trying
to sell hope and the possibility That Kyrie irving comes

(01:29:05):
back And Cooper fly playing really well as a, rookie
if that's enough to keep them in the play and.
Mix BUT i think by the time you, know The
february thirteenth trade deadline, hits it'll be clear they're not
in that, mix and then they'll wind up Shopping Anthony.
Davis excuse, Me Teber february, fifth so we have about

(01:29:26):
a month and a half before negotiations really start ruvving.
Up so that might, be you, know the messaging coming
out Of dallas, now but that's because they still have
time on their.

Speaker 2 (01:29:37):
Side.

Speaker 3 (01:29:38):
Mark THE Nba cup just wrapped.

Speaker 2 (01:29:40):
UP i understand the league's brass is pleased with THE Nba,
cup but there seems to be real, mixed you, know
sort of mixed reviews among the. Fandom what are your
thoughts on THE Nba? Cup AND i think it's here to,
stay but what are your honest thoughts about?

Speaker 9 (01:29:55):
It, yeah, WELL i don't think it's, perfect but you
have to look at from this. Lens has this been
better than you, know three years ago at any regular
season games In? December you should say it's a capital,
yes because usually regular season games In, december no one
cared about. It so these games have at least been more.

(01:30:17):
Competitive the, ratings you, know have been a lot better
Than december games before THE Nba, cup even when you
account for cord. Cutting these streaming platforms With amazon And
peacock have made a. Difference so, YEAH i also think
the prize money has made, it you, know incentivized players
to really try. Hard but no one's THE nba is

(01:30:40):
not trying to fool. Anyone no one's Saying oh, Yeah
THIS Nba Cup finals championship is the same thing As
hilario O'Brien. Trophy it's just about ejecting some excitement in
the regular season after kind of the buzz Of Opening
night wears off and before everyone starts paying attention to
The Christmas day. Games so under through That lens mission

(01:31:02):
accomplished in a, PLUS.

Speaker 2 (01:31:04):
I can't disagree with any of, that all, Right so moving,
along he'd been a, minute so we, forgot but the
Irrepressible Raymond green was on for full Display saturday. Night
it's not one but two. Technicals, NOW i just saw the,
highlights SO i didn't necessarily see the context of the
build up With colin To lesbie and then he turns

(01:31:24):
his attention to a referee and they got to restrain.

Speaker 3 (01:31:26):
Him what's he BE nba going to do about it this?
Time if?

Speaker 9 (01:31:30):
Anything, YEAH i mean they might find, him but he's
already got. Ejected and you, know you, accumulate you, know
technical foul, points flagrant foul, points and if you get
a lot of them by the end of the, season
windup game. Suspended so it's not about reacting to this specific.
Play BUT i thought what was interesting is in light

(01:31:50):
Of Raymond greene's, Ejection Steve, kerr The warriors head, coach
talked about how he was frustrated With Dylan. Brooks, yeah
his own flagrant one foul Against Steph, curry and he
was just, saying if this is, another you, know example
Of Dylan brooks being very dirty And Dane heersey may,
recall you, know he really Put Gary payton The second's

(01:32:14):
career in jeopardy during a pivotal playoff game in the
twenty twenty TWO Nba playoffs when he was with The grizzlies.

Speaker 2 (01:32:21):
Soon broke his.

Speaker 9 (01:32:23):
Elbow, yeah and you, Know Gary payton was able to still,
play but at the time he wondered is this going
to be career offsering or career end? Him, so you,
Know Steve kerr obviously he has a bias, here but
his reaction To Draymond green's injection felt, like, hey this
is pretty mild compared to what he Saw Dylan brooks.

Speaker 10 (01:32:43):
Do.

Speaker 3 (01:32:44):
WELL i Like Steve, KERR i think he's pretty.

Speaker 2 (01:32:46):
Measured he Referenced brooks's action as a premeditated.

Speaker 3 (01:32:50):
Punch he punched him in.

Speaker 2 (01:32:52):
The, stomach and he basically, said if what's the point of.
Replay if it's such an obvious, foul it doesn't result
in an objective in an ejection with your, Thoughts.

Speaker 9 (01:33:03):
Yeah AND i think the other point he's trying to
make is that there's inconsistency as far as what you,
know line referees say players can't cross and what can they?
Do and, incidentally that was the same messaging that The
lakers were talking about with The. Clippers, now you, know
every coach is going to complain about the officiating at
some point during the, season same thing with. Players but

(01:33:23):
this is the context of the last two, Games they've
gotten five technical, Fouls Marcus smart has gotten. Two BUT
Jj reddick's main point is he's found that there's been
inconsistency as far as what the referees are, enforcing what they're,
allowing you, know what plays are allowing to be, challenged

(01:33:44):
as well as how much dialogue are they allowing coaches
and players to have to explain. Calls and SO i
think that's the main thing that's really irritating players and
coaches is obviously they have a self. Interest they're always
going to argue they got, found you, know when they
were on the offensive end or, defensively they didn't. Foul
BUT i think it's more of the consistency part that's

(01:34:06):
really getting a lot of people.

Speaker 2 (01:34:08):
Upset all, Right mark last, One And i'm not bringing this.
FACETIOUSLY i think this is a real. Topic so THE
wnba players authorized a. Strike it was a near unanimous.
Vote they Passed october thirty, first they Passed november. Thirtieth
now It's january, ninth And i've read some of the

(01:34:28):
rudiments of the new. Contract doesn't seem like it seems
somewhat generous to, Me and these inflammatory statements that you
know the union leadership is, making it can't be. Helping
you still think kulier heads prevailed By january, nintheen you
think you see a world where these knuckleheads could actually.

Speaker 9 (01:34:48):
Strike, NOW i think coreheads will still. PREVAIL i think
what we need to keep in mind is that this is.
Semantics but the players union only voted to authorize strike
if they consider it. Necessary they weren't saying we're going on.
Strike but no, ME i get all.

Speaker 3 (01:35:07):
THAT i covered the.

Speaker 2 (01:35:08):
Strikes that was My entreando radio the nineteen ninety fourth,
Strike SO i understand. Nomenclature but they're talking tougher than
we might be giving them credit.

Speaker 3 (01:35:17):
For they're talking.

Speaker 9 (01:35:17):
Tough, yeah but that's how these negotiations always. HAPPENED i
don't think anything's going to compromise that they almost came
to a work stoppage in two thousand and three And
core has ultimately.

Speaker 3 (01:35:29):
Prevailed and you know Why lawrence And brian said, Strike
i'll shut the league.

Speaker 9 (01:35:33):
Down, yeah BUT i think both sides are well aware
of the momentum loss if it's shut down kit When
clark was talking about. This but, Here, BERNIE i think
what you and the audience we all have to keep
in mind here is that we have to see what
the revenue. Is so you, know when you're, hearing, oh,

(01:35:53):
yeah the league, proposed you, know average salaries to go
up to five hundred and thirty thousand or seven one
hundred and seventy, thousand you, think, well that's pretty, substantial
given the fact that you know players right now the
max salaries two hundred fifty. Thousand you have to keep
in mind what are they're proposing with revenue. Sharing it's

(01:36:14):
about the player's, position is that they want to have
equity and the profits and how they're sharing, revenue and
what THE wnba is offering right now is fifteen. Percent
you juxtapposed that with THE, nba AND i get. IT
i know that THE nba is a billion dollar. Business
they make a lot more, money but we're talking about

(01:36:36):
splitting the pie, here the players and the. Owners it's
roughly fifty to. Fifty so that's what THE wnba players
are getting. At it doesn't make any sense for them to,
be you, know agreeing in eighty five point fifteen split
when the other, league THE, nba is agreeing to nearly
fifty to.

Speaker 11 (01:36:55):
FIFTY i think it's a.

Speaker 2 (01:36:57):
Complex conversation AND i wish we had more time to
deal with do. It maybe we will next, Week but
everything has a, context and for three decades they've lost
their billion, dollars SO i think that discretion really should
be exercised here because they need to dig out of

(01:37:19):
a hole before they start to make, demands and fifteen percent.

Speaker 3 (01:37:23):
If something is better than one hundred percent of.

Speaker 2 (01:37:25):
Nothing so on, PAPER i understand what you're, saying but
there's also a context of, this AND i think in
any comparison to any other, league there's a false equivalency
because this league's never really gotten the plane off the.
Ground they exist due to the largest of Rich man.

Speaker 9 (01:37:40):
Period, yeah, no that's. Fair WHAT i would stress, though
is it's under my impression the league is profitable right.
Now now how profitable are, that we don't, know but
that's my main. Point we have to talk about how
they slice the pie of that revenue and.

Speaker 2 (01:37:58):
Profit, mark, listen great stuff as always THAT i want
to pick this up next week because it wouldn't be
that difficult for them to report how profitable the league,
was and they haven't done that. Yet you don't hide,
strength but listen as, always you get your finger on
the pulse of. Everything no matter WHAT i ask, You
there'll be plenty more where that came from Next. Saturday
look forward to. It, mark enjoy your week.

minutes we'll bring in The Fantasy files as we are
just eight hours and thirty minutes away from the kickoff
and resumption Of week. Sixteen just, quickly because some folks

(01:40:54):
have been asking me about, this The michigan coaching. Situation
been talking to a lot of my. Peeps it just gets. Crazier,
frankly believe it or, Not i'm hearing that the coach
higher itself could possibly slip Past New Year's day and
after the transfer portal.

Speaker 3 (01:41:12):
Opens it's all over the. Place it's my.

Speaker 2 (01:41:15):
Understanding the players are campaigning to bring Back Biff, pogi
a very popular interim coach who stepped in When Cheran
moore was suspended for a couple of. Games older, guy
a multi. Millionaire he's well known in The michigan program
and does a great. Job he was six and sixteen In.

(01:41:35):
CHARLOTTE i don't think he would ever be the permanent,
coach AND i Think michigan has to get busy living
or get busy, dying because you can't have an interim coach.
Now you got to start solving your problems now instead
of pushing him back for a. Year but the, PLAYERS i,
think are campaigning for. HIM i, meanwhile it feels Like
Jeff brohm was a logical. Choice he develops, quarterbacks he wins,

(01:41:55):
Games he's got some history Into Big. Ten That louisville
team beat At miami team You. Saturday they're pretty, good
and that's thanks To Jeff brohms prolific. Offenses But i'm
hearing there's some resistance in Ann, arbor so there's no. Consensus,
Now Kyle whittingham may be getting steam The utah. Coach
you said he was stepping away but not, retiring and

(01:42:16):
it's my. Understanding tell, me call me, crazy But i'm
hearing from PEOPLE i. Trust they haven't totally yet given
up completely On klein De. Boor, okay, yes AND i
Know eli Drink winz At missouri just got the big
six year. Extension But moles also telling me that if
for some Reason michigan wore you will hire, him he'd
be hard pressed to turn it.

Speaker 3 (01:42:34):
Down so do with that what you. Will if you
followed all, that you're better than.

Speaker 2 (01:42:37):
Me All, Right we've got some really interesting matchups coming,
up certainly from a fantasy. Standpoint, again about eight and
a half hours from now that kicks it. OFF i,
mean you got The chargers Of.

Speaker 3 (01:42:48):
Dallas, Buffalo, cleveland The chiefs Of.

Speaker 2 (01:42:51):
TENNESSEE i think a couple of the games that will
draw a lot of Attention, Jacksonville, Denver, Pittsburgh, Detroit, Houston baltimore,
certainly and Then monday, night of, course the forty Nine
ers At. Indianapolis that's why this segments become so. Important
get your pens and pencils. Ready fantasy football is a big,
business including my son's, team who's in the first round

(01:43:13):
of the. Playoffs got off to a slow start tonight
With Josh, jacobs but that's happened before and he's come.

Speaker 3 (01:43:17):
Back it's time for The Fantasy.

Speaker 21 (01:43:20):
Files Fantasy files With Brandon, deutsch your go to fantasy football.

Speaker 1 (01:43:28):
Segment are you a one?

Speaker 5 (01:43:29):
Gone welcome To Fantasy.

Speaker 22 (01:43:32):
Files I'm Brandon deutsch and this is a pivot week
semi final. Matchups unless you got a two week championship
matchup LIKE i do in one, league it is the
semi finals and here are MY si start suggessions for this.
Week lad McCaughey Against. Dallas it's no Secret dallas has
the worst past defense in all of. Football lad mccauckey
hasn't had a good game in.

Speaker 6 (01:43:52):
Weeks he's.

Speaker 22 (01:43:52):
Due when you mix a player being due and playing arguably,
well not even arguably the worst pass defense thirty second
in passing yards per game in THE, nfl you're gonna
get a guy that's.

Speaker 6 (01:44:03):
Going to get twenty plus fantasy.

Speaker 22 (01:44:05):
Points NOW i, Know lad McCaughey should be started, regardless
BUT i mean people question that over the past few.
Weeks by the, Way i'd Sit Jacoby myers Against. DENVER
i don't Trust Trevor. Lawrence even after last WEEK btj
cut a. TOUCHDOWN i think that's only going to Hurt
Jacoby myers. Usage they're Using Jacoby, myers they're Using Brennan,
strange TRAVESE ctn is going to get utilized out of the,
backfield and they're playing the best defense in the league Besides.

(01:44:26):
Houston SO i would Sit Jacoby myers this. Week i'd
also Sit terry. McLaurin i just don't see how The
commanders put up points Against philadelphia's. Defense it's been their.
Offense it's been an. Issue even if this is a
low scoring, GAME i don't Expect terry, McLaurin who's been
great With Marcus mariota averaging fifteen fantasy points per game
since his. RETURN i don't think he's going to have
a good. Performance this is a, sneaky sneaky. Start BUT

(01:44:47):
i would Start Juwan jennings Against. INDIANAPOLIS i, mean he's
had a bazillion fifteen plus fantasy point. Games it seems
like this year all recently Since bracus came back two
touchdowns last. Week the week before it is eight. Targets
week before, that he has eight. Targets, like this is
a guy that produces and gets red zone. Targets that's super,
important especially for an. Offense it's going up against the

(01:45:08):
sixth ranked run defense and The, colts but they're horrible
against the, past their bottom six in THE nfl against the.
Past So brockberty's going to have to throw the ball
And Juwan jenning's going to be the recipient of. That Right,
like he's going to have a pretty big. Game Sold George,
kittle but Obviously George kittle is a solid. START i
would actually sit a Mechaic buka Against. Carolina Mike evans
has taking that roll. Back buka's out there doing. Cardio

(01:45:29):
the drops have been a problem for. Weeks production was
contingent Upon Mike evans's health to start the. Year they
didn't really know About. Igbuca there wasn't tape on. Him
there was only college. Tape he bawled out and then
he reverted to the mean a little, bit AND i
just don't trust him this. Week BUT i do Like Jayden,
reid who's listened as. Questionable if he plays Against.

Speaker 6 (01:45:45):
CHICAGO i Love Jane.

Speaker 22 (01:45:46):
Reid Jade reach should have a great performance against The
bears defense that is susceptible to given up big. Plays
even though they force, turnovers they're still susceptible to give
an up big. Plays now we've done a lot of wide.
Receivers i'm going to do a few more.

Speaker 6 (01:45:59):
Here Love Khalil.

Speaker 22 (01:46:00):
Shakier Against cleveland and Eighty. MITCHELL i would also start Against.
Indianapolis Adie mitchell has been really has a monopoly on that.
Offense right, Now let's get into running backs because this
is obviously the toughest position to evaluate on a week week,
basis specifically because it's so matchup, driven in matchup, BASED
i love A mario And hampton Against. Dallas to, me
there's no question you have to start On mario And.

(01:46:21):
Hampton dallas is one of the worst run defenses in,
football As weld's past defense is one of the.

Speaker 6 (01:46:25):
Worst in the. League and A mario And hampton a
few games now actually to get his legs under him
and you, know get back to almost full.

Speaker 22 (01:46:32):
STRENGTH i think he kills it Against, dallas and we
know what he can do he has that home run hitter,
speed similar To Trevion, henderson.

Speaker 6 (01:46:37):
Who's also a start Against.

Speaker 22 (01:46:38):
Baltimore now these are must, starts, Right Like hendo's a
must start because he had one hundred and fifty yards.

Speaker 6 (01:46:43):
Last, week two massive plays that he. HAD i do Like.

Speaker 22 (01:46:45):
Woody marks if he plays Against. VEGAS i Think woody
marksna have one of his best games all. Season BUT
i would Sit DeAndre swift this week against Green.

Speaker 6 (01:46:52):
BAY i don't like this.

Speaker 22 (01:46:54):
MATCHUP i Know Michael parsons is, out but like Green
bay has a really good run defense AND i just
don't See deandres doing much in this. Game i'd also
Sit Kyen williams Against. Seattle it sounds, Crazy seattle has
one of the best run defenses in the, league But
Blake quorum is taking away a lot of snaps In
kiren's production all year. Long all year long has been
contingent upon, touchdowns AND i don't know if there's going

(01:47:15):
to be a lot of them to get out there
with That Devonte adams taking away, pressure, Right i'd also sit. R.
J harvey Against, jacksonville as much as it pains me
like he's going to be completely touchdown. Reliant jacksonville is
the best run defense in all of. Football make sure
to Start Bucky. Irving that should be, obvious but after last,
Week i've gotten questions Against. Carolina Bucky evering's going to
have a massive comeback. Game the snaps will be. THERE

(01:47:36):
i completely trust. It AND i would also say Quin
Shawn Judkins buffalo going up against this is a great
matchup for. HIM i love What quinchon can. BRING i
know he's had another it is a down game last,
week but they only scored three, points not his fault
shot through three. INTERCEPTIONS i would Sit Jalen warning Against.
Detroit detroit's run defense is getting astronomically. BETTER i would
also sit Ken walker against The. Rams two easy sits

(01:47:58):
That i'm completely fine. With these are guys that have brutal.
Matchups their production has been fluctuating for. WEEKS i, Mean
warren barely got Six Fantasy boys last, week Ken walker got.
Two you'd think those are easy. SITS i still have
people damn and me saying SHOULD i start these. Guys
i've started them for weeks and a lot of this
is matchup, based so, NO i would not start those

(01:48:19):
guys will give you a few tight ends real. Quick
Kolbe parkinson Against seattle's a must. START i Think kelsey
against The titans is also a start despite.

Speaker 6 (01:48:26):
Not Having Patrick.

Speaker 22 (01:48:27):
MAHOMES i Think gadsden Against dallas is a, start BUT
i would Sit Hunter henry Against. Baltimore baltimore's pass defense
has gotten astronomically better in the last few. GAMES i
would also Sit Brendan strange Against. Denver I'm Brandan. Deutsch
you can find me AT Bsd. Takes you can find
me At brandon Est deutsch On instagram and. TikTok back
to The Bernie fraders, Show let's win our semis.

Speaker 3 (01:48:47):
All, right so good.

Speaker 2 (01:48:48):
Stuff i'm curious what his thoughts would have been On christian.

Speaker 3 (01:48:52):
McCaffrey And i'm looking ahead To Monday night for a
couple of. Reasons but believe it or, not the forty
nine ers hold their.

Speaker 2 (01:49:02):
Fate if they go three and, oher they'll win that
division and they hold the, tiebreakers and there's some interesting
side notions to that, game and of course It's philip
rivers second game. Back SO i Think Monday night has
a potential to be kind of an interesting game to

(01:49:24):
watch for multiple. Reasons especially if you're a fantasy guy
and you've got The brock parties in the, world and
you've got The Jonathan, taylors and you've got certainly The.

Speaker 3 (01:49:33):
Cmax so there you have. It coming.

Speaker 2 (01:49:38):
Up you're starting to hear it again about teams. Tanking
remember back of the, day suck For, Luck tank For?
Tua come, on, man does tanking ever? WORK i don't think.
So just the mere mention of it makes my teeth.
Itch and just have some thoughts about.

Speaker 3 (01:49:52):
That coming.

Speaker 2 (01:49:54):
Up I'm Bernie, friderworck come to you line from The
Las Vegas Fox Sports Radio. Studios don't go away or
listening to The Bernie Fraddles show On Fox Sports.

Speaker 1 (01:50:01):
Radio you're listening To Fox Sports Radio.

Speaker 2 (01:50:05):
Radio all, right back at The Bernie Fraddle, Show Fox Sports,
radio coming you live from The Las Vegas Fox Sports Radio.
Studios we'll take up to three Am, pacific six Am.
EASTERN i want to get this off my. Chest Remember
tank For? Tua how'd that work? Out suck For? Luck
do you know one of those guys have come anywhere
Near Super? Bowl and there are decent players in your own?

Speaker 3 (01:50:28):
Right get?

Speaker 2 (01:50:28):
It all?

Speaker 3 (01:50:28):
Right, well it's that.

Speaker 2 (01:50:30):
Time of year where people are talking about tanking and
this and, that and just, recently The New York jets
were criticized by some of their fans for being bad
at being bad because they managed to win a game At,
atlanta and so that screws things. Up that gives The
jets three wins and two more Than tennessee and one
more than In, vegas et, cetera et. Cetera you, know,

(01:50:52):
hey we're not going, anywhere and you've already Traded quinn
And williams And Sauce, gardner, see you might as well
suck and stack up losses and increase the value of
another great draft pick finished as long as, possible or
even The New York giants fans, wondered, well they Started
Jackson dartigas In New, england gave him a real, game
but then Coach Mike kafka made a couple of punk

(01:51:12):
decisions that didn't seem like the calls of a guy
trying to rally for. Victory just, Saying but the fact
that these statements or comments or questions can be made
is completely characteristic of modern, sports where bad teams are
encouraged to be even worse in hopes of landing a
better draft, pick but doesn't.

Speaker 3 (01:51:33):
Work it's all.

Speaker 2 (01:51:34):
THEORETICAL i don't think tanking in THE nfl works at.
All it's generally not an effective strategy because if you
look at the structure of AN nfl, team the nature of,
football and there are inherent organizational challenges on their own

(01:51:54):
that if you decide to be bad so you can
get a higher draft, pick it's highly risky AND i
think very unlikely to yield any success much, term long,
term much less long term. Success, now why DON'T i say?

Speaker 3 (01:52:08):
That think about.

Speaker 2 (01:52:10):
It unlike THE, nba where you can get one star
player one two players that can transform a.

Speaker 3 (01:52:18):
FRANCHISE i saw it half in my own.

Speaker 2 (01:52:21):
EYES i was an intern to Forum Magic johnson's rookie
of The year rookie year turn the franchise completely. AROUND
i know you had your bar on the, roster but before,
that he was a punch. Line he was a punch
line in The airplane. Movie but in THE nfl is
a far MORE i think team oriented. Sport there are

(01:52:41):
eleven players on the field on offense and defense at all,
times and even if you bring in a generational talent
that requires a ton of other things like a competent offensive,
line a great supporting, cast and schemes that match the
players and their talent and death and cohesion and things
of that. Nature so the notion that you're going to

(01:53:02):
turn your season around by one draft choice, again suck for?
Luck how to? Work my? God that was what back
in twenty. Eleven and then tank For. Tua how'd that?

Speaker 3 (01:53:13):
Work and?

Speaker 2 (01:53:15):
Why because there's a real draft. Uncertainty IF i had a,
NICKEL i covered The Detroit lions for ten years ninety
eight to, eight part of the broadcasting prem post saw It,
All So Barry sanders last year and my final year
in two thousand and, Eight Rod marinelli's owned sixteen, team
it'saw it. All there's real draft. Uncertainty The lions Drafted Calvin.

(01:53:38):
JOHNSON i think it was fifth overall in two thousand and,
seven the second to the left DRAFT i. COVERED i
remember saying to, MYSELF i say it on the air
we covered the draft.

Speaker 3 (01:53:48):
LIVE i, SAID i like.

Speaker 2 (01:53:50):
The, player BUT i don't like to. Pick The lions
needed to build internally, outward not from the. Periphery Calvin
johnson might be A hall Of, famer never won a
damn thing with. Him Never Matt stafford was picked number one,
overall never won a playoff game In. Detroit and there
were times he had help twenty, fourteen twelve and four

(01:54:11):
number three Defense Calvin johnson THE Dominicansu stafford lost the
game on the road Of, dallas turned it over. Twice
yeah he, did, Okay and there were other years he
didn't have as much. Help he never, complained he played,
hard but this Notion stafford never had any help In. Detroit,
no you weren't. There but he was drafted number one
overall in two thousand and. Nine, okay and what, happened,

(01:54:34):
well nothing In. Detroit so high draft picks are not
a guarantee of. Success in, fact data suggests that the
success rate for the first overall pick is. Low, so man,
on let's place it around ten percent for winning The
Super bowl and the team drafting them is, well let
me try that again In. English when you draft a

(01:54:55):
player number one, overall history shows that the the team
that drafted that player has a ten percent chance to
win The Super, bowl but perhaps higher when they're. Trading
but believe it or, not almost sixty of top ten
picks become, busts and they set the franchise back even.

(01:55:17):
Further it's very difficult to project success in The National Football.
League how in the hell would The niners trade three
picks For Trey? Lance And i'll go to my grave
Saying Kyle shanahan did not want. Him he wanted Mac.
Jones that's WHY i got him. Now and, oh by the,
way Mac jones will have a lot of suitors on

(01:55:37):
the free age of market when he declares free agency this.
YEAR i got nothing Against Trey. LANCE i just don't
think he's a major league. Quarterback he's proven that same
With Justin, fields stellar, individual Phenomenal Ohio. STATE i said
he'd be a bus because his default mechanism is to
run and he's the type of guy that is Williing
elly at quarterback doesn't necessarily process. Well he has all the.

(01:55:59):
Two but it didn't manifest In. Chicago it didn't manifest
with The. Jets sure as hell isn't manifesting With, pittsburgh.

Speaker 3 (01:56:07):
And it's it's you, know it's got that.

Speaker 2 (01:56:11):
Backward sure as hell didn't manifest With, pittsburgh and it's
not with The. Jets, now he was he was set
to be the. World let's set the world on, fire a,
high you, know highly rated draft. Pick so the truth
of the matter is many top prospects become. Busted that's
just a. Fact so if you're tanking to get a top,
prospect the odds are not in your.

Speaker 3 (01:56:33):
Favor the other, thing, too IS.

Speaker 2 (01:56:37):
Nfl players are human, beings and they got families and,
jobs and they've you, know this is how they make
their living and put food on the, table and their
career is relatively, short and so you'll never see AN
nfl player not play hard or you're going to be.
Cut trust, me one hundred percent of what you do
is observed one hundred percent of the time in THE.

(01:56:58):
Nfl and the one Thing Rob marinelli said is four
disastrous years In detroit or as a six or, seven
THREE disasterus, years was it's on. Film so even if
we don't use, you someoney's going to see you on.

Speaker 3 (01:57:11):
Film it's.

Speaker 2 (01:57:12):
True you're always being. Observed so you'd best play. Hard
and if somewhere along the line a player senses that
the organization really doesn't care if they win that, year
Now i'm not going to accuse anybody of intentionally, losing
but if they don't care they, win because they want
to suck and get a higher draft. PICK i honestly

(01:57:33):
think that can have a debilitating effect on a team's,
culture certainly their chemistry and what the hell ever happened
to win it all costs mentality that people know is
essential for. Success players and coaches have personal incentives to
win every, game and if you don't give maximum, effort
you're hurting your, future, contract job, security, pride all those.

Speaker 3 (01:57:51):
Things this also hurts tanking and player.

Speaker 2 (01:57:54):
Development you throw a high potential rookie into a dumpster
fire of a roster with poor coaching and supporting.

Speaker 3 (01:58:00):
Weapons that ruins their.

Speaker 2 (01:58:01):
Potential, now one of the Reasons Patrick mahomes has succeeded
deserves every bit of his success is he benefited from
being placed in stable confidence. Situations same with Brock Perty
by the, way the other thing. Too AN nba season
is eighty two, games AN nfl season is seventeen, games
so there's a higher, variance. RIGHT a tanking team might

(01:58:24):
accidentally win enough games to fall out of a top draft,
spot which results in the worst possible, outcome a bad
record without elite draft. Capital and, again you know HOW
i feel about the. Draft, FINALLY i do think in
some cases you're damned if you. Do you're damned if you.
Don't you alienate. Fans deliberately losing can alienate a foil fan.

(01:58:46):
BASE i think that can lead to decreased to tenants
and certainly LOWER tv, ratings reduced merchandise. Sales these things, matter.
Okay teams like The bengals And eagles have used high
draft picks is a key part of their success and re.
Building but it's also more nuanced their roster, management their,
systems the way they handle their personnel, groupings their player their,

(01:59:09):
schemes their position. Coaches they have resources that they. Employ
so the notion that you just simply mail it in
so you can get a high draft pick and then
we'll be off and, running, WELL i think it's fortune cookie.
Wisdom that's just my. Opinion Maybe i'll introduce this in
the future midnight hour. TOPIC i THINK i maybe will

(01:59:29):
because it's that time of year and we're starting to
hear it coming. Up The Bernie Frattle show. Continues which
coaches are on the hot. Seat we'll tell you keep it.
Locked The Bernie Fraddle, Show Fox Sports.

Speaker 1 (01:59:38):
Radio don't listening To Fox Sports Radio.

Speaker 3 (01:59:42):
Radio that's.

Speaker 2 (01:59:44):
Right you heard the. Man The bernie Fraddle show keeps

(02:00:26):
Well as they, say THE nfl stands for not for
long if you.

Speaker 3 (02:00:32):
Don't win In Loan.

Speaker 2 (02:00:33):
Bowl here we are every year in what in The
january IT'S i think they Call Black monday or. Something
box seven coaches end up losing their. JOB i don't
call for coaches to lose their, job BUT i do
observe there are about eleven, names, right now believe it
or not that depending on the range of, heat they're

(02:00:54):
in the hot seat of the warm. Seat and it's
worth noting because, well you're gonna be hearing about. IT
i start With Raheem morris as The. Falcons i've always liked.
HIM i thought he's a great defensive coordinator other, organizations
but he was supposed to be an. Improvement they've been
in seven you, know it's like the Old Jeff fisher
eight and eight. Purgatory we our seven to ten purgatory

(02:01:14):
for three consecutive. Seasons there's been the transition From Kirk
cousins To Michael. Pannix, yes they've had some, injuries they've
changed defensive, coordinators But.

Speaker 3 (02:01:25):
Morris showed he might be the right guy to.

Speaker 2 (02:01:29):
Improve but The falcons actually a regressing and the defense
continues to be a major. Issue and If atlanta does
stick With Raheem, morris he's going to need to come
through with playoffs in twenty twenty six or he may
lose his gig three years in Like Arthur schmidt. Did
that's what's out there in the. Ether same With Jonathan

(02:01:49):
gannon and The. CARDINALS i had high hopes for. HIM
i really. Did he unfortunately hasn't really delivered much For
arizona in three.

Speaker 3 (02:01:59):
Non, playoffs all losing.

Speaker 2 (02:02:01):
Seasons they did jump from eight to nine in twenty
twenty four if they were only four and thirteen and
twenty twenty, three but now they're back down to double
digit losses and there's yes or having a ration of offensive.

Speaker 3 (02:02:12):
Injuries maybe that gives him a.

Speaker 2 (02:02:13):
Reprieve the breakdowns and defense are not. Helpful it looks
not like the, team after paying him getting in the,
bag is going to move on From Kyler. Murray so
sometimes when that, happens you make a clean quarterback coach
break and you start over with a whole new. Group
those are the two hottest in the hot, SEAT i.

(02:02:35):
Believe now these guys are on certainly on the warm,
seat maybe not the hot. Seat and a couple of
teams From. Ohio, Okay Zach taylor with The bengals now
he's still living in the wake of His Super bowl
fifty six run With Joe. Burrow but unfortunately there's been
a new motif In. Cincinnati they start slow every year

(02:02:57):
and then they, fade and after THE Afc championship in
twenty twenty, two they Extended Zach taylor's contract through twenty twenty,
six AND i would think there is likelihood that Because
Joe burrow was hurt most of the twenty twenty five,
season they'll continue with. Continuity that's the department of redundancy

(02:03:18):
department as opposed to flushing the whole damn thing and starting.
Over SO i think he does probably deserve one more,
year but you'd be remiss if there aren't. Discussions they
Need Joe burrow healthy for a whole. Year let's face. It,
okay he may not be having, fun but neither of
The bengals. Fans Kevin stefanski is a two TIME Nfl

(02:03:39):
coach of The year and his first four seasons with
The browns that were thirty seven and, thirty including two
eleven win teams made the, playoffs even won a playoff.
Game but since then the team has gone three to twenty.
Five they've had nothing but brutal quarterback In jues. Issues excuse.
Me The Deshaun watson and debacle was a debacle transferring

(02:04:03):
From Baker, mayfield who you, know, laugh clown, laughed but
he took a one on thirty one.

Speaker 3 (02:04:07):
Team under, you all, right it's WHAT i get for
saying his. Name he'll come to me.

Speaker 2 (02:04:13):
Later and he actually made the playoffs a couple of years.
Later now he's off to his fourth franchise and was
having success Until Tampa bay went off a. Cliff but
now you got you The Shudor sanders situation and we're watching.
That don't be surprised If cleveland drafts a quarterback next.

Speaker 3 (02:04:30):
Year but we'll.

Speaker 2 (02:04:30):
See, okay this is a tough one BECAUSE i Think
Kevin stefanski is a damn good coach until he's handed
a bad hand and he's gone along with it and
been a real front. Man all, Right but it's still
only fifty to. Fifty it's still only fifty to. Fifty
he may he may. GO i don't. Know, oh by the,
way of all the Coaches i've, mentioned If Kevin stefanski,

(02:04:51):
goes he'll have another. Job at about four minutes now
you get to kind of like the not quite as hot,
stage maybe almost Warn Luke, Hoarnant mike McDaniels seemed like
he had one foot in the grave and the banana
pee when they started one and, six but then all
of a sudden they'd be were five and one to
get back into the contention somewhat six and seven going
into the Week monday night game At, pittsburgh but that

(02:05:14):
didn't work so, well and you know his offense and improved.
Defense the truth of the matter is there are people
in certain circles that actually think McDaniel's overachieved because that
team's so bad and it looks like they've finally given
up On tua AND i like to, it but, MAN
i don't know what to, say SO i don't think

(02:05:35):
McDaniel gets. Fired but it's not a Zero Shane stiking
of The. Colts this was a critical third, season Right
they started out seven and one with a. Bang they've
been one in five since they were nine to eight last.
Year he's not out of the. Woods and, yes you
can clearly correlation his Causation Daniel jones goes. DOWN i

(02:05:57):
don't care if you Hate Daniel jones and call him.
Names he's a far better quarterback than you think he.
Is and without him under, center they, go, no they
got no. Chance, NOW i Think Shane stiken gets one more.
Year they did have some early positive momnum this. Year
but the truth of the matter is the pressure to
get to the playoffs in twenty twenty six will be
far greater than it was this. Year Aaron. Glynn, yep

(02:06:21):
it's only been there one, year and when it was
on Seven, man it was really getting. Hot but they've
gone three and three since and they've lost some Talent.
Injurie they Lost Garrett, wilson they Traded Sauce, Garner, Quinnon.
Williams there's no Doubt Aaron gilliam's gonna come. Back but
there are you, know there are whispers out there because
that's just the way people.

Speaker 3 (02:06:37):
Are we elevate human.

Speaker 2 (02:06:39):
Beings to their highest plateau in, life whether they're football,
players baseball, players rock, stars, presidents football, coaches only to
tear him. Down all, right these, Guys i'm gonna, Mention
i'm gonna rapid fire through these guys because they've got.
Detractors BUT i think it's unlikely that all these guys.

Speaker 3 (02:07:03):
Goes some of them.

Speaker 2 (02:07:04):
Might Dan quinn Had washington in THE Nfc Championship game last.
Year he Had Jayden daniels riding, high but then again
they were a mass unit and they got.

Speaker 3 (02:07:14):
To rebuild that.

Speaker 2 (02:07:15):
DEFENSE i think Dan quinn comes back in twenty twenty,
Six but again there.

Speaker 3 (02:07:20):
Have been people Chirping Pete.

Speaker 2 (02:07:21):
Carroll he cut. Tout. Listen i'm not gonna bag On Pete,
carroll BUT i will say that facts as. Facts he
hand picked this, quarterback he hand picked his for round draft,
choice and he hand picked his offensive.

Speaker 3 (02:07:33):
Coordinator Jim Kelly okay is.

Speaker 2 (02:07:36):
Gone defensive Coordinator Patrick graham might also be let, Go
So carroll's trying to get back to his best days In.
SEATTLE i don't know if that's ever gonna happen with The.
Raiders the more likely scenario that if he returns next
year would be a make or break because he's gonna
turn seventy five next. Summer, look his legacy security WANTED i,

(02:07:59):
see you want to See Gino smith ain't the, guy
and he had to know that before coming. Here you
Like aston, genty but he was drafted so hot you're
not getting. Anywhere hear of the production and they don't
even give him the ball that. Much, yeah you can
blame it on the offensive. Line But i've talked TO
nfl scouts that do and they've told, me you, know
can you blame it on the offensive? Line and they,
say come, on, man we had f And Adrian. Peterson

(02:08:22):
you can put thirteen men on the, line he's gonna find.
Yard same with The Barry. Sanders so it can only
go so. FAR i Don't and by the, way The
raiders have been a coaching carousel of their own the
last five. Years look who they've gone through Between Rich
bassaccia as the interim right and After John gruden was,
fired and Then josh, McDaniels and Then Antonio. PEARCE i
thought did an admirable job with what he had to.

Speaker 3 (02:08:43):
Do and now you've Got. Pete care what you do
if you're fifth coach in six, Years he'll come. Back
i'm pretty certain you. Will.

Speaker 2 (02:08:50):
Now Kellen moore has been, mentioned BUT i think he's
done a hell of a. Job, okay there are a
lot lot of lumps from all this, rebuilding And New
orleans needs to help him a.

Speaker 3 (02:09:03):
Lot they got to boost the personnel he. Wanted Tyler.

Speaker 2 (02:09:05):
Shuck let me tell you That Tyler shuck's showing me,
Something so don't be so quick to Put Kellen moore
on any kind of hot.

Speaker 3 (02:09:12):
Seat same With Dave canalis at The.

Speaker 2 (02:09:14):
Panthers he's done well enough to Get caroline on the
brink of stealing THE Nfc, south there's a lot of improved.
PLAY i always Believe brightstung would come. Around Dave canals
is a true quarterback, whisperer trust. Me look at his.
History he was huge With Baker mayfield And tampa back
in the. Day he was huge With Russell wilson And. Seattle,
however next, year after what The panthers did this, year

(02:09:36):
there is going to be a real push for them
to be a playoff. Team now The cowboys moved on
From mike, McCarthy i think the team is responding well
To Brian schottenheimer with his. Offense the key That schottenheimer's
going to have to do is really Retool dallas', defense
and that's On Jerry jones to keep working that. Overhaul

(02:09:56):
from WHAT i, SEE i Like Brian. Schottenheimer he deserves a.
Chance and same With kevin.

Speaker 3 (02:10:01):
O'Connell i like.

Speaker 2 (02:10:02):
Him he's the Reigning Sporting NEWS AP Nfl coach of The.
Year he said his first bumpy, season the offense is a.
NIGHTMARE jj McCarthy taking his rookie, lumps BUT i believe
one hundred Percent kevin O'Connell will be entrusted to get
them back on track in twenty twenty. Six, okay so
why AM i even Mentioning, Canalis schottenheimer O'Connell because there

(02:10:22):
are actually people that are chirping. NOW i also think
you have to Give John harbaugh. Break he's got too
much on his resume in the past and a body of.
Work couple that with an injury riddled. Season his team's
had a tough. Schedule the Reason John harbaugh is not
getting a pass because he's won A Super bowl and

(02:10:43):
every year people are convinced it's finally The ravens.

Speaker 3 (02:10:48):
Turn to win. One they're In serchell not going to
do it this. Year and the truth of the matter is.

Speaker 2 (02:10:55):
If John harball or to exit for any, reason he's
another guy to get a job in five.

Speaker 3 (02:11:00):
Minutes, Finally Mike. TOMLIN i don't get The tomlin.

Speaker 2 (02:11:03):
Stuff, Okay pittsburgh fans are kind of caught in limble
With tomlin because of their lack of recent playoff.

Speaker 3 (02:11:09):
Success but he gets his team to over achieve and
they win when things are.

Speaker 2 (02:11:14):
Lost he's got a forty two year old quarterback that
didn't exactly light it up his StAst a couple of
years In Green.

Speaker 3 (02:11:18):
Bay he saw what happened In New.

Speaker 2 (02:11:19):
York, listen they're fighting for a playoff spot and maybe
even a divisional. Championship you got to See annuel. Ritual,
well it's time For tomlin to. Go who are gonna
replace him? With who gonna replace him? WITH i have
nothing bad to say About Mike. Tomlin he does need
better personnel. Help he needs probably a long term quarterback
answer to get a shot at winning a third Super,

(02:11:42):
bowl or actually the third trip to a Super. Bowl
but the notion that you're gonna do better Without Mike,
tomlin just just because and because it's, stale and because
the group think Echo chambers says it's time For tomlin to.
Go come, on, man you need to light down with
a cold, compress get yourself some warm milk and soft.
Music take a hi. Please, OKAY i gotta tell you

(02:12:05):
it IS nfl not for. Long if you're in over your.
Head tomlin is. Not tomlin is, not and he coached
my team any.

Speaker 3 (02:12:15):
DAY i like his.

Speaker 2 (02:12:15):
LEADERSHIP i like his. DECISIVENESS i like the way he
commands a, room commands. Respect god bless Her rooney. Family
three coaches since nineteen, Seventy chuck nolv And Bill kauer
and Now Mike. Tomlin and even Though pittsburgh doesn't go
to The Super bowl anymore and they struggle to get
in the playoffs or we're doing anything in the. Playoffs, okay,

(02:12:36):
well there's still a very respected franchise and they're always
kind of hanging. Around SO i WOULDN'T i wouldn't give
up on them too. Quickly, Okay so there you have
it coming. UP i want, to ever so quickly bring
my receipts on THE Nba. Cup And Martin menina brought
up some excellent points from THE nba. Standpoint they love.

(02:12:59):
It when have you ever seen teams THE nba that
is popular in Mid december for no, reason you got
a call or appily point, out why doesn't THE nba
starting In christmas and In. July there's merit to, that
real merit to that THE nba would have the sports
world to itself In. July but they got this thing
called THE Nba. Cup AND i want to give you some.

(02:13:19):
Facts there are personal feelings and objective. Truth So i'm

(02:14:01):
two cents on THE Nba. Cup the games were pretty,
good but most of you didn't. Care do you?

Care i'll get to The i'll get to the real.

Speaker 3 (02:14:39):
Studios earlier in the min at, hour we had some
interesting comments on THE Nba. Cup and here's what's.

Speaker 2 (02:14:46):
Interesting, uh the final game was actually really, good but
most of you didn't. Care that's what the data tells.
Us but before we get to the, data let's give
it some. Props it's let's maintain our objectivity.

Speaker 3 (02:15:02):
Here, Okay.

Speaker 2 (02:15:05):
Tuesday NIGHT'S Nba Cup final was was, well as THE
nba used to, say, fantastic it. Was, uh it was
a big time comeback for the Next they win by
eleven one thirteen over The spurs in a game that
honestly felt like a playoff matchup and could have even
been for all we.

Speaker 3 (02:15:21):
Know finals preview we don't, know to.

Speaker 2 (02:15:24):
Be, clear And Mark benina mentioned, this this is a
huge improvement over The december basketball we've seen in years
past for THE, nba because it feels like in Early
november and you get Into december Until January february is.

Speaker 3 (02:15:40):
Around THE nba really truly is an.

Speaker 2 (02:15:41):
Afterthought not to say that it's not popular in many,
circles and it has its own right for, excitement but
it's Not it's not mainstream until you get done with.
Football that's why somebody, suggested and it's been suggested, before
one of our. Callers maybe they shouldn't start Till, november
check that Till Christmas, day make it the de facto opening,

(02:16:03):
day which it currently is, now make it the official opening,
day and let the system run through To july And.
August have the finals on Late. July they'd have the
walk of the run to. Themselves New york who entered
that game with an eighteen and seven. Record all of a,
sudden The honist Of god looked like a full blown.
Contender Mike brown seems to pick up Where tibbs is

(02:16:26):
left off and they're. Better Jalen, brunson Ogn andobi they
combined for fifty three. Points Jordan, clarkson he has a you,
know he'd went crazy in the second, half had a
bunch of three. Pointers Victor wenby finished the game minus
eighteen in his twenty five minutes off the. Bench but

(02:16:48):
The spurs put the league on, notice even in a.
Loss it's a great, result honestly For knicks, fans it really.
Is AND i think whether or not they want to
put up a bank or anything like that doesn't. Matter
it's something, Okay but, again do you give a rats

(02:17:08):
if AN nba cup tree fell in the? Forest doesn't
make a. Noise judging by the results of a poll
and a major, publication it's pulled over seventeen thousand. Fans
about sixty one percent they don't care at.

Speaker 3 (02:17:25):
All that's not.

Speaker 2 (02:17:28):
Great seventeen PERCENT i might care if my team were
Any so we're talking about seventy eight percent of people
pulled on a seventeen, thousand which is not a small,
sample don't care at, all or they don't care unless
their team is in.

Speaker 3 (02:17:46):
It they might.

Speaker 2 (02:17:47):
Care seventeen percent said it's better than what we were doing. Before,
okay Well i'll agree with. That that's like being the
best hockey player In. Argentina what is that? Worth, finally
five percent said you're all, wet you're.

Speaker 3 (02:18:04):
Stupid this. Rules. Man if you don't like, this you're.
Crazy you don't like apple. Pie that's five.

Speaker 2 (02:18:09):
Percent so if you consider that sixty percent couldn't care
less about the damn. Thing this is an event that THE,
nba and you, Know Adam silver's baby has really put
a lot of effort and money and sweat and sweat equity.

Speaker 3 (02:18:29):
Into to make this damn thing.

Speaker 2 (02:18:31):
Relevant, okay there are a couple of other points that
most people don't talk about.

Speaker 3 (02:18:39):
The cup is a drain on some.

Speaker 2 (02:18:41):
Teams, okay it's added slightly to the frantic pace of
the early, season and then some somehow some teams have
complained about being gassed before you even get to the new.

Speaker 3 (02:18:52):
Year all, right that that.

Speaker 2 (02:18:55):
Premise has touched a, nerve but it very much has
merits also a level of. Pretense, listen this has Been
this is a takeoff from The european soccer competitions THAT
i think THE nba is hoping to. Emulate all, right
but over, there teams from multiple leagues play against each,
other and that provides something completely different new to people

(02:19:20):
watching ON tv or even attending in. Person, HERE nba
teams only player will only play OTHER nba. Teams, now
a writer by the name Of Marcus thompson made a great,
suggestion what if you opened up this competition to the whole,
world THE Nba, cup but allow other teams to from

(02:19:43):
around the world to join, it it'd be worth.

Speaker 3 (02:19:45):
WATCHING i don't know what would look.

Speaker 2 (02:19:47):
Like so it's difficult really to expect people to invest
in THE Nba cup emotionally when you look at the
parameters and when you look at the. Reality but the
overwhelming response is, that you, know while it's not, perfect
As Martin medina, said THE nba is trying. Something they're trying.

(02:20:10):
Something at least players do seem to be. Motivated of,
course why wouldn't they. Be you're paying more money on
top of the money they're already earning to play these you,
know same regular season, games and it adds to the
aforementioned you know. Product but they're trying and that counts for.
Something and you know last, year year two seemed to

(02:20:33):
be way more successful than year, one and there were prominent.
PLAYERS i think even Like Draymond green, said you know,
what this is a great precursor to the. Playoffs you
got you young guys on the roster that haven't been
to the playoffs or don't really know what that's all.
About you participate in THE Nba, Cup, well guess. What
this gives you a real. Feel it's almost like a dress.
Rehearsal so what's the bottom? Line, okay do you? Care

(02:20:57):
do you not? CARE i think THE nba management cares
a lot and they like, it AND i would see
unbalanced The cup is probably.

Speaker 3 (02:21:04):
Good it's not for.

Speaker 2 (02:21:06):
Everybody not everybody's all, in not everybody's bought. In not
everybody takes it, seriously and the courts look, SILLY i.
Think but it does add something missing that THE nba
didn't have, before and that's somewhat early interest in the
competition for what's a very long. Season AND i never
advocate that they shorten. It that's, boloni and especially when

(02:21:27):
you get to the final, four it's worth.

Speaker 3 (02:21:29):
Watching there's not a dot in my.

Speaker 2 (02:21:31):
Mind THE Nba cup's going to stick, around, okay and
you gained big time steam from year one to year.
Two seemed to flatten out a little this, year but
still we're talking about, it. Right that's what THE nba
wants because guess what if the younger generation is talking
about it and you go buy five or ten years
and it's still going, On it's going to be normalized

(02:21:51):
and the younger generations are going to care enough to
make it a. Thing that's really what the purpose of this.
Is to create the critical mass so it becomes an
integral THE, nba not just some sort of sideshow. Gimmick
they've got to be able to connect with the next
generation of. Fans and, oh by the, way for winning
players catching five hundred and thirty grand for one night's.

(02:22:13):
Work when you win the whole, thing that's not too bad.
Either you, know we covered all on this program where
one hundred and six days away From World cup. Soccer
when this feature all started back prior To thanksgiving twenty twenty,
two we cover the other football too spelled. Futbol it's

(02:22:34):
Time Chris Purfett's world.

Speaker 21 (02:22:36):
Of, soccer the greatest, goals the thrilling, finishes the international.

Speaker 1 (02:22:48):
Drum, Hi it's all here in this report from The
world Of.

Speaker 23 (02:22:56):
Soccer happy, Holidays bernie and to all the listeners out
there checking in With Fox Sports radio and The world
Of soccer as we continue to thunder along towards The World.
Cup and that is our story. Tonight usually the same of,
YEAR i talk About Boxing day, soccer especially in The Premier.
League there's only one day coming up On Boxing, day
which Is december twenty, sixth the day After. Christmas that

(02:23:18):
game will be actually a pretty good, One Manchester united
Against Newcastle. United but because it's so close to the,
Weekend Boxing day is a little bit of a muted
thing when it comes to The Premier. League, instead this
gives us a really good time right now to talk
about ticket. Prices this was a bit of a story
around the, world and you might have actually seen it
creep into a lot of sports feeds out there OF

(02:23:40):
fifa reacting to outrage over the price of tickets at
The World, cup and indeed that they may have lowered
prices or try to sell lower tickets to lower price
tickets to. Fans AND i want to dig into that
story because it's really fascinating BECAUSE i think there's several
angles to. This one is that that last part is

(02:24:01):
a bit of a, lie And i'll explain that in a.
Bit but the first part is you might be wondering
what the big deal is about ticket, prices because this
is the idea of spending a lot of money for
a sports ticket is in The United states not a weird.
ONE i took my mother the other month to The
Detroit Lions thanksgiving game against The Green Bay.

Speaker 1 (02:24:22):
Packers it was her first EVER nfl.

Speaker 23 (02:24:24):
Game we got WHAT i would, say by my, estimation
decent but not overwhelmingly good seats and even still before
parking anything, else for all of us involved, THERE i
paid out about six hundred dollars for AN nfl. Game,
now ten years Ago WHEN i went to that Same
Thanksgiving day game between The lions And, EAGLES i paid sixty. Dollars,

(02:24:47):
now granted those Were Upper bowl, tickets but even, still
that considered how LITTLE i paid compared to, that and
even then sixty dollars is, Still i'm, sure to A
european relatively. Expensive this it gets at the heart of
what is going on right now with THESE fifa ticket.
Prices The United states has been used to extremely expensive

(02:25:09):
sports ticket. Prices we accept that as part of what
we want to. Do if you want to go to
a big event like A bowl, game The Super, bowl
or apparently The World, cup you are expected to pay
out of pocket a tremendous amount of, money or you're
supposed to go to ticket scalper.

Speaker 1 (02:25:27):
Websites.

Speaker 23 (02:25:28):
OOPS i call them ticket scalper because that's really what
stuff Like Sea geek and all these. Are they're scalping.
Tickets they are they. Are we can stop being cute
about the reselling of. It but they have been legitimized
by many sports leagues around The United. States and this
episode is a good reminder that just because something is
a certain way in The United, states the rest of

(02:25:48):
the world does not operate or even work in that,
way and to see ticket prices for The World cup
as much as sometimes as little to get into the
final as four Thousand United states dollars is enough to
send a lot of people into a. Shock to be,
clear about ten years, ago When liverpool tried to up

(02:26:09):
their ticket prices to about seventy seven, pounds there was
a massive fan, protest and for a lot of fans
traveling to The World cup who are already doing expensive
plane tickets and hotels and sometimes moving across a country
to watch their team their country between city to, city
especially in The United, states which is, huge there are

(02:26:30):
a lot of other costs already going on with. It
so the sudden revelation that ticket prices at The World
cup were going to be prohibitively, expensive and WHEN i
say prohibitively, expensive we're starting to talk in like maybe
the several hundred dollars two thousand dollars ranges here.

Speaker 1 (02:26:49):
Was just too much for a lot of.

Speaker 23 (02:26:51):
Fans it was too, much especially for, people especially in
a game that sells itself as the people's, sport where
the fans in the stadium are a huge part of
the game of the, atmosphere of the songs they, sing
of the tifos they, raise of the energy they. Bring
it is such an important part of the game of,
soccer that makes soccer special that these kind of prices

(02:27:14):
that would price out all kinds of fans trying to
travel for these games is simply. Unacceptable AND i will
say this to their, credit it's not an. Overreaction according
to a stat from THE Us bureau Of Labor, statistics
ticket prices for sporting events rose more than twice as
fast as the price of goods in THE us between
the year twenty twenty. Nineteen we may accept it as

(02:27:37):
the way things, are BUT i THINK i can't fault
anyone for pointing.

Speaker 1 (02:27:41):
Out that it shouldn't be that. Way i'm just not that.

Speaker 23 (02:27:43):
Cynical, NOW fifa did come back and they tried to
sell what are basically sixty dollars tickets when they're filtering
them through the national.

Speaker 1 (02:27:53):
Federations now this has a few. Problems these are.

Speaker 23 (02:27:56):
Not what you would call easy to get, tickets nor
WOULD i call them cheap tickets, either which is WHAT
fifa is trying to tell the press that they. Are
because they go to the national federations and the federations
then reward them to the most loyal traveling. Fans that
means usually they're going to go to fans who have
already had the money and the resources to go To
World cups in the. Past for people from the continents

(02:28:20):
Of South, America, Africa, europe And, asia it is a
massive culture shock to something That North americans haven't taken
for granted that this is just the way things. Are
BUT i think there is a good question coming out
of the story of why are things that? Way and
there were fights in The United states in the. Past
to be, fair there were always warning bells when the

(02:28:42):
ticket prices started to go up In Yankee stadium and
the bleacher creatures started to get priced out in favor
of people that stereotypically we accuse of sitting around eating
sixty dollars sushi while baseball is being. Played The World,
cup we must remind, ourselves is a celebration of sport,
itself of what nationality can inspire and sport of the

(02:29:02):
people who come out to support that nation and do
all of these, cool awesome things that make The World
cup The World. Cup AND i think sometimes the, price
especially this, year is trying to get in.

Speaker 4 (02:29:13):
The way of that.

Speaker 23 (02:29:14):
Matchup we have one more report before next. Time we'll
be in the year twenty twenty, six A World cup.
Year we'll see you next time on The world Of.
Soccer you know the ticket price.

Speaker 3 (02:29:25):
Debate he's been.

Speaker 2 (02:29:29):
Hotly reviewed, recently so there's real merit to, that And
i'm hearing crazy things.

Speaker 3 (02:29:37):
In terms of the.

Speaker 2 (02:29:38):
Finals might you know five thousand dollars a ticket fourteen
dollars to just get into one of the regular. Games
SO i don't, Know we'll we'll see where it shakes.
Out this is an incredible. EVENT i had the good
fortune of covering One World cup in nineteen ninety. Four
the games were played in The silver Domen, detroit SO
usa Ty. Switzerland it was like they transformed it into

(02:29:58):
a foreign countries.

Speaker 3 (02:30:00):
Unreal SO i think.

Speaker 2 (02:30:01):
People even casual, fans are in for a treat when
they see the pomp and circumstance and the international pride
and excitement When World cup, soccer for lack of a better,
word Invade North, america including our, country certainly In Los
angeles and cities Like Los, Angeles. Atlanta it's not that far.
Away it'll be here In june hundred and eighty six days.

(02:30:24):
Away coming, up we wrap up the, Show The Bernie Frattle,
show and we take a quick look at the current
playoff picture in The National Football league as things are
starting to take shape a little, bit but we still
got a waste to, go believe it or not until
things are really. Settled we went sixteen weeks before we

(02:30:46):
had an actual divisional, winner and that would be The
Philadelphia eagles lo and behold to repeat. Winner that never
happens in THE Nfc. East and even though The bears
are in fine, feddle they Haven't they haven't clinched THE
Fc north.

Speaker 3 (02:31:01):
Yet it could still.

Speaker 2 (02:31:03):
Change not, likely but it.

Speaker 3 (02:31:06):
Could it could still.

Speaker 2 (02:31:08):
Change I'm Bernie Fraddleware company line from The Las Vegas
Fox Sports Radio. Studios keep it locked right. Here you're
listening To The Bernie Fraddle show On Fox Sports. Radio
listening To Fox Sports. Radio all, right we are wrapping
it up On The Bernie Frattle. SHOW i want to
thank my broadcast, Team mark And lee through outstanding work,

(02:31:32):
tonight keeping the plane flying in mid, air turning all the,
dials keeping us glued, together answering all the phone, calls
managing all the brakes and the bumpers and. Everything, obviously
could not do the show without the efforts of their fine,
producers always much. Appreciated it's about that time of year

(02:31:55):
people really want to know what's what with THE nfl,
playoffs which sometimes can be. CONFUSING i can say the
picture got a little Clear, saturday not much, clear but
a little. Bit The bears defeat The packers twenty two
to sixteen in, overtime which really solidifies the bearest position
atop THE Afc, north moves them closer to a potential

(02:32:17):
number one or number two seed in the, playoffs but
they're in control of the, division but they haven't clinched
the division. Yet by the, way The packers losing means
they can no longer clinch a playoff spot In week. Seventeen,
frankly they have to Need they have to win their
final two games of the season to secure wild card
Birth boy The. Packers the win moves The bears to

(02:32:39):
eleven and, four one game behind The seahawks, twelve who
are twelve and three for the top spot in THE,
nfc and a full game ahead of The eagles that
are ten and five in the race for the number two. Seed,
no The eagles have clinched their. Division they're the only
team in The National Football league who's clinched their. Division
i'll get to the rest of that in a. Second

(02:33:00):
seahawks at twelve and, three have clinched the playoff. Spot,
yes The, bears if the sason in today would be
number two, seed but it doesn't end they're in controller.
Division AS i, said The eagles have clinched THE Nfc.
East The, bucks, yes it's seven and. Seven they're the division.
Leader in THE Nfc, south but they're not done. Yet
The rams currently the number five. Seed that lost In
Seattle saturday, night or check That thursday night was. Damaging

(02:33:24):
they're down to a number five seed right. Now they've
clinched a playoff, spot though at.

Speaker 6 (02:33:28):
Least they have.

Speaker 2 (02:33:29):
That, meanwhile The niners are in the hunt for a.
Wildcard big, Game big Game monday night At. Indianapolis and
AS i, said The, packers who have already now played
their fifteenth, game they have two. Left they're still in
the hunt for a. Wildcard they got to win their
final two. Games as far as THE afc playoff, picture,

(02:33:54):
well The broncos are maintaining the top seed and they
have in, fact clinched a.

Speaker 3 (02:33:58):
Playoff they're twelve and. Two they're number one. Seed The
patriots have clinched the.

Speaker 2 (02:34:07):
Playoffs The, jaguars they're very much in control of their
division in THE Afc south at ten and, four but
they haven't clinched it. Yet same with The steelers AT
afc at eight and. Six in THE Afc, north The
steelers are the current division, leader but they have not clinched.

Speaker 3 (02:34:26):
The division Det, meanwhile The.

Speaker 2 (02:34:27):
Chargers check this. Out The chargers are ten and. Four
they're in hunt for a wildcard and under THE autisti
scenarios they can still win the. Division they could they
went Out denver loses their last three. Games guess what.
Happens chargers are thirteen and, Four denvers twelve and, five
but they're in the hunt for a. Wildcard, currently The

(02:34:48):
bills at ten and four in THE Afc east are
in the.

Speaker 3 (02:34:51):
Hunt for a.

Speaker 2 (02:34:52):
Wildcard The pats at eleven and. Three they've clinched their,
division but still things to be. Decided in The, texans
who host The raiders later today at nine and five
in THE Afc, south, well they are also in the
hunt for a wild. Card eliminated The Indianapolis cults are.
Eliminated The Baltimore. Ravens we'll check That deniapiskans are not

(02:35:14):
eliminated during the. Hunt The ravens are in the hunt
at seven and, Seven, Chiefs, Dolphins, Bengals, Jets, Browns, raiders And.
Titans as you, will, NO i, mean in other, news
water is. Wet they are all eliminated in THE nfc
in the. Hunt The Detroit lions very much in the
hunt eight and, Six Carolina panthers in a huntred seven and.

(02:35:36):
Seven even The Dallas cowboys mathematically mathematically in the hunt
at sixty seven and one. Eliminated Sorry, vikings six and Eight.
Falcons i'd like to thank you for participating in the
twenty twenty FIVE nfl. Season show yourself out here at
five and. Nine saints four and, Ten commanders four and,
Ten Arizona cardinals three to, Eleven New York.

Speaker 3 (02:35:59):
Giants too and.

Speaker 2 (02:36:00):
Twelve so these are teams that are already. Eliminated what
are teams on the brink of. Elimination, well The Detroit
lions are on that. List they're currently eight and six
and they hold the ninth spot in THE, nfc which
basically means that a loss to The steelers later today

(02:36:26):
could see them eliminated from. Contention now they're at home
and they're seven point. FAVORITES i think they're probably thumped To,
steelers but nothing's guaranteed in this, league and they got
our mass unit on. Defense a game with cluster injuries
and their defensive, backfield and also a loss to The
steelers can see them eliminated from contention depending on the
outcome of other. Games, now The Green Bay packers, lost

(02:36:49):
so that actually helps The. Lions The colts are in
a similar position in THE. Afc they're sitting in the eighth.
Spot they need to win and they need help to
secure their. Spot which other teams are on the brink of. Elimination,
well the fate of these teams are going to be
determined really by the outcomes of their own games later on,
today which is why this is such an interesting. Week The,

(02:37:10):
cowboys AS i, mentioned they've already been eliminated from winning
THE Nfc east after The eagles clinched, division but a
loss to The chargers later today that will officially End
that would officially End dallas's wild card, hopes And.

Speaker 3 (02:37:25):
I'm Sure Jerry jones would not be. Happy and, again
The lions.

Speaker 2 (02:37:32):
Would have been eliminated if they lose to The steelers
today and if The Green Bay packers game against The
bears had resulted in a. Tie can you imagine that
they almost did? Tie, well they went over, time, Right
but The lions Are they are on the proverbial must
win situation to keep their slim hopes. Alive these teams

(02:37:52):
are still mathematically in the wildcard, spot but they have
a very difficult. Path indianapolis eight and six season started
with such. Promise they sit in the eighth position in THE.
Afc they need to win against The Niners monday, night
and they need help from other, teams which we'll get
to next. Week The ravens they start one in. Five
yeah they're seven and, seven but they're racing against the.
Clock they need to win all the remaining games and

(02:38:13):
have some other teams lose to still sneak into the.
Playoffs i'll get into the specific so that next. Week,
meanwhile With Carolina, panthers one of the real field good.
Stories they're competing for THE Nfc south title with The,
buccaneers but they have a difficult remaining schedule that makes
their playoff probability at about thirty eight.

Speaker 3 (02:38:33):
Percent so there you have.

Speaker 2 (02:38:35):
It, Tennessee Vegas, Jets, Browns, Bengals, Chiefs. Dolphins you're out
in THE, Afc, Giants, Cardinals, Saints, Commanders, falcons And.

Speaker 3 (02:38:43):
Vikings you are out in THE. Nfc lots of.

Speaker 2 (02:38:47):
Great games earlier today or later. Today they'll all start
here in just about seven. Hours it's good to do
it for The Bernie. Finals you will see you Next saturday,
night eleven. Pm in the, meantime keep you locked up
